Not very impressed about the food, the quantity isn’t big for the price… It was a celebration for family gathering after several years not seeing each other, it’s kinda disappointing we couldn’t sit outside near the fire 🔥 which would’ve been a lot better experience! I ordered fishman’s pot, it was curry based with seafood inside, little bit spicy but it’s quite small for a person to get full, and also fish Taco 🌮 is more full of veggies rather than fish… The cocktail was quite yummy fortunately. Overall it’s a okay restaurant I would probably choose other ones if I got more time to do more homework!

We were visiting from Alberta and this was our 20th anniversary special dinner with our kids. Couldn't have picked a better place. After searching for what seemed like hours for a place that would accommodate our dog and giving up hope we ended up at McDonald's for milkshakes. I looked at the reviews online for this fancy place and saw reviews that says dogs were allowed on the patio. We had asked many other places since we walked up and down that strip and everyone said no to dogs so I didn't even bother to ask this establishment since it was so nice. After reading the reviews we left McDonald's and came back here. I waited in line and they told me they would allow our dog there. The waitress was amazing and even brought our pooch some water. This was our dog's first time at a fancy restaurant and she did amazing! She just layed there pooped from a long day out and about in the sun. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better 20th anniversary celebration! The view is amazing 😍 We highly recommend this place with or without a doggie. Especially considering it was +36 that day, we couldn't even think to leave our dog and thankfully we didn't have to eat Macdonald! If we're ever in the area we will for sure be back!

We initially came in expecting standard bar food, but we were pleasantly surprised—the menu offered so much more. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and far beyond what you'd typically expect from a bar. They also have an impressive drink selection. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

This is a nice place by the beach, but it ends there. I ordered the tuna poke bowl, which was nice and fresh but a tiny portion and for $26? Wack! So I ordered the calamari to go with it, and I got a plate with some calamari and deep fried cauliflower, what looked like green onions and other vegetables in there, like anything to shamelessly stretch it out to maximize profit. Do you think patrons won’t notice 30% vegetables in a calamari order? And they don’t even give you a little dipping bowl but rather a light drizzle of dip on the plate, maybe a tablespoon’s worth. Then, they dropped the ball and missed 2 orders within our group, and the best they would offer is free dessert? Please. What if they didn't want dessert? And the icing on the cake they add on an automatic 18% tip for groups! Rather than being grateful for groups and thousands in gross sales hourly they choose to railroad patrons into an 18% tip? Disgusting, short sighted, and says a lot about their interests and where they sit. When you consider how good we have it in Canada yet in so many, so called 3rd world countries we get better service, better and fresher food, bigger portions and friendlier smiles, this place is an absolute embarrassment. We all know what BC really stands for, and they lived up to this at an elite level. Their business model seems to lack initiative at any real effort to gain honest, repeat business, and in my opinion based on this experience, they don’t deserve yours. In short, this place is a tourist trap.

Rainy day in Kelowna so decided to make the drive down to Penticton. We came for happy hour and dinner, lovely ambience without being too loud. Our server was helpful and attentive to our needs (we told her we were sharing the dishes and she offered to bring the food out on separate plates and cut the burger). The food was wonderful - we had the tuna nachos, sliders, prawn & chorizo burger, and fisherman’s pot. Everything was so tasty but would highly recommend the tuna nachos and fisherman’s pot! Would be back again when we’re in town!

We visited Saltys in July. It was quite busy, we were added to the waitlist & given a buzzer so we could walk the boardwalk. Server was not overly friendly, but service was good. Food was enjoyed, portions were reasonable. They stress Gluten awareness only likely not celiac friendly. I had the prawn chorizo burger.with a gluten free buns, it was very good. Kids enjoyed their meals as well. I had a pineapple drink can't remember the name but it was refreshing. We'd come back for sure.

Top spot for brunch in town for sure. We highly recommend this to anyone coming to Penticton looking for great coffee and a bite. I had the spring toast and it was delicious. Expensive, but high quality ingredients. Service was SUPER fast from ordering to when our drinks and food were ready. Bonus points for how dog friendly the patio was. Plenty of free parking if you come before 10:30am on Saturday and then walk over to the market after breakfast.

The best coffee in Penticton. They have a selection of bakery items, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Perfect way to start the day. The patio is very nice.

Very lovely café with super friendly staff! There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a nice spot to relax. There’s also a cute little shop right next to the café that you can browse after your drink — so many adorable things to check out!

Wayne & Freda turned out to be an excellent coffee stop right in the middle of what feels like Penticton’s little food district. The timing couldn’t have been better—warm afternoon, light breeze, and plenty of shade under their ginormous umbrella. The Sandwich and the ‘customized’ ever so lightly sugared up Cortado hit the spot! 👌🥪☕️ I liked the repurposed container seating too, which gives you the option of being outdoors but still covered. The whole place keeps to the easy neighborhood vibe, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not getting here sooner. Perfect spot to slow down for a bite and a coffee. 👌🥪☕️ There’s a wonderful heart warming story behind the name Wayne & Freda! From the website: Jen & Ryan are the owners. They came to find that Ryan’s grandfather Wayne and Jen’s grandmother Freda lived in the same care home. This brought Wayne and Freda together, and their chats over coffee about their grandchildren grew into a warm friendship with many more shared conversations. 🤗

I ordered peach iced tea and asked for extra sweetener, staff was polite. The sandwich menu isn’t broad. I wanted to get some Sun, so I sat outdoor and it was a nice spot got nice pictures too. overall it’s a great spot.

The food was very tasty, a little bit pricey but I think worth it and the area is super nice, they have the wall and doors open and lots of seating, only like three of the tables have chargers but very nice area. The ginger peach tea was tasty and the smoked salmon was very good.

The blueberry vegan scone is the best I have tried in my search for great vegan treats! Service is lovely and the boutique is filled with amazing local Produce. Love all around 🫶🏼

You HAVE TO stop by this place if you’re in Penticton! Best Greek restaurant in town! We ordered the Lamb Shoulder Oregano and the Rabit (Lagos Stifado) It was a memorable experience and tasted so good! Must’ve been the best thing on the menu because it was 10/10 We had great service from our server Darwin. Great martinis from Vanelle! I especially liked the espresso martini 🍸 And Greg, the owner was such an amazing down-to-earth guy! All three of you were so amazing and welcoming. Thank you for the hospitality in your restaurant

I just ordered this while on vacation and while it isn’t the worst Greek food I’ve had, It’s pretty far down on the list for quality and pricing. For 2 people to eat 1 houmous bread plate appy and 2 meals for takeout it was $95. The homous comes with only 1 pita and they charge $14 then for 2 extra pita it’s $5.95 so you’re paying $20 for homous and bread. The amount of homous is good but with 1 pita for all that homous you’re basically forced to get the extra bread. The chicken souvlaki and ribs were really bland, very basic herb seasoning. My wife has allergies so she wasn’t able to have carrots and rice because they’re pre-buttered prior to serving so we asked for a salad instead and were told there would be a small up charge, but $5.25 to add on a salad when we took out 2/3 of the other available sides is a bit ridiculous. For the price of the chicken souvlaki ($29) and ribs ($36) the amount of food is pretty bad compared to a lot of other Greek places I’ve eaten at. Pretty disappointing experience overall.

Ordered the Calamari steak moussaka and hummus platter and cocktails. The calimari was salty and greasy, the owner is correct we should have advised someone of our complaints but honestly we were starving and didn't want to wait. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to request. The moussaka was good.

The food and drinks were good, I didn’t get any pictures but we all had the lamb orzo special and it was delicious. Only complaint was that the chairs are hard to maneuver as they are heavy and don’t fit into the tables well and when they bring in the belly dancers and loud music it kind of throws off the vibes a little bit. Overall nice place.

It had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the food was of good quality, and the servers were extremely polite. And if you enjoy seafood combined with pasta, you should definitely try the Seafood Fettuccine.

We recently went to Theo’s to celebrate a birthday for a good friend. Reservations were made for 5:30 for 7 and when we arrived they could not find it. Fortunately it was early enough that a table was available until 8 pm we were told. It has been awhile since we dined at Theo’s and were very disappointed.. Our meals were so so. Three friends ordered Lamb Souvlaki which was placed on a huge mound of rice, two haves of a potato and sliced carrots. The Lamb was overcooked and tough. Calamari was okay. There was no Greek salad, pita bread and the presentation was blah. All the meals arrive warm.I have recently been to two different Greek restaurants in the Vancouver area and my dinner always included a Greek salad and pita bread as well as rice and potato. Those meals were presented well with reasonable portions and very tasty for a similar price. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

This spot is an absolute must-visit!! I sat out on the patio with my dog on a lead. They have a nice large shade structure up. The birds were chirping. I had a breakfast burrito with added chorizo and it was so tasty. Perfectly toasted, melty cheese, balanced flavours. The salsa on the side… one of the best salsas I’ve ever had! Their selection of retail is gorgeous too. I was thrilled to find my favourite salt - Farmersdotter garlic scape salt! All in all, such a pleasant experience. I’ll be making this my go to every time I come through Penticton.

This is a very busy spot with an interesting order of doing things. Plan to have lots of time. Was sat at table and waited for 20 mins before I was allowed to line up to order. Meanwhile tons of people coming after were in line to order. Food did come out fairly quickly. Food was tasty.

I ordered a cappuccino and a scone. Very busy. The server initially missed bringing my scone. I went to check on it and was asked if I needed help. It was the owner. He personally served me the last scone. I observed him hustling around after - cleaning tables, holding the door, complementing and coaching his staff. I don’t know how this place can get anything less than a 5 star! Third visit here during my stay Penticton. Very impressed! Oh! And the cappuccino and scone were delish!!

This breakfast place was quite busy during our visit, which speaks to its popularity. The staff were friendly, though the service could have been more attentive. The ordering process was a bit confusing, as it wasn’t clearly explained, and for our group of six the meals arrived at different times rather than together. The food was acceptable, but the pricing was high for what is was. The noise from the road was very intrusive and spoiled the atmosphere of outdoor dining. Overall, while there were some positives, the experience left room for improvement. I would not return due to low value.

Great place for lunch. Order inside from a menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. I had a salmon eggs bene, loaded with herbs and a hearty bread base., accompanied with hash browns. There is ample sitting outdoors on their terrace. A good pitstop while visiting wines in the Naramata Bench.

Free street parking. Outdoor, dog-friendly seating for parties of 2-4 with umbrellas to provide shade & indoor seating included long table for larger groups. Order at the till and take a place card for table delivery of your items. Available items include hot breakfast dishes, baked goods, and there's a little deli with cold drink and a variety of locally made condiments for sale.

Always enjoy stopping at the Bench Market during my visits to Penticton! Friendly staff, enjoyed a delicious Breakfast Plate with smoked salmon added! And of course an iced coffee! I will be back!!

Popular spot with quick service! The decor is a mixture of industrial and homely, food is served on a metal Tray and the interior is a mix of styles. I didn't particularly enjoy it but it was interesting. The kitchen staff seem very energetic and happy to be there which is always lovely to see, my server was very kind. I had the Pesto Veggie Flatbread! Which was ABSOLUTELY Delicious! But it wasn't very substantial, over and done with in several bites. I don't mind a light lunch if I'm paying $10-12 but for $16 it was substandard. I could have eaten a second dish and still had been slightly hungry. There aren't many other vegan options so I don't think I will return in a hurry, but I do still remember the delightful pesto flavour! A very memorable lunch, just wished for more in terms of portion size! There was free wifi as a bonus! Much appreciated

Amazing fresh food!! The sandwiches are packed with tasty ingredients. Tuna melt had fresh, not canned tuna, mustard pickles and brie. Another table had a flight of soups so you could try a few. Really great place!

Brodo catered my wedding and it was phenomenal. My biggest want for my wedding was to have GREAT food and they blew me away! Every single person I spoke to told me how amazing the food was. Even my meat loving family loved their roasted vegetable meatloaf. They were amazing 10/10. For appies, their arancini and avocado toast were unreal!

Best sandwich I've had in recent memory. Ingredients all tasted fresh and the recipe was fantastic, but the bread was the real winner. Fresh, perfect crust and toasted on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I'll be back many times.

Stopped by Brodo Kitchen for a light late lunch before heading to our Airbnb. The place has such a warm vibe, and you can tell the people running it really love what they do. The grilled cheese and tomato soup hit the spot — hearty, comforting, and so good! Definitely recommend if you’re in Penticton.

Great Turkish resturant across the beach. Everything on the menu is meant to be shared, great dishes. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and told us based on what we ordered if we needed more or less. Worth checking out while you sit on the Patio or choosing inside.

I have visited Elma twice in the past month and had an amazing experience. Wendy served me both times I came in. She is knowledgeable, funny, kind and phenomenal at her job. The food is so delicious. Best octopus I've had in the Okanagan, it just melts in your mouth. Scallops were amazing and I dream about the Lamb Croquettes. Absolutely love what you are doing and I can't wait to come back soon.

We had a lovely time at Elma’s. The customer service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The Turkish food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. A great spot for a cozy meal and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

An amazing restaurant that beautifully modernizes the diversity of Turkish cuisine. It's a truly unique place, distinct from all the other Turkish restaurants that, driven by commercial concerns, present Turkish cuisine as nothing more than kebabs. It's the embodiment of Istanbul's upscale restaurants in Penticton. The menu is blended with Turkish flavors. The octopus and prawn we ordered were delicious. The Turkish sausage pide was also incredible. I should dedicate a separate paragraph to dessert, but I can't describe the taste. Please don't leave there without trying Zerrin's Burma. Even the mastic ice cream on top was delicious, featuring Turkish motifs. I must also say we were hosted by an incredible team who served us very professionally. It was wonderful to experience such a delightful restaurant in Penticton during our short vacation. Please don't miss the opportunity to visit here..

We had a fantastic dining experience at Elma. From the moment we arrived - early for our reservation - the hostess warmly accommodated us without hesitation, which set a great tone for the evening. Our server, Christian, was exceptionally helpful and attentive. He guided us through the menu and gave some good recommendations. We ordered the Yaz salad, Atom, and Lamb Kapama. Each dish delivered fresh, bold, with vibrant flavors that felt thoughtfully crafted. We were in Penticton for a short visit and kept hearing from locals that Elma was the place to go, and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the service exceptional. Mike, our server, was beyond fantastic! He guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and suggested we share a Meze, a Pide, and a Main between the two of us. It was the perfect amount of food and an incredible journey of flavours. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting flavours!!! We finished with their handmade Baklava, paired with homemade ice cream and a rich Turkish coffee. It was the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal. Elma’s is a must experience for everyone! The food, the ambiance, and the service are beyond exceptional. Lachi in Penticton offers an impressive selection of Indian cuisine, with most dishes bursting with rich flavors and spices. I was wowed by the quality of their food—except for the dhal, which, unfortunately, lacked flavor. It felt underwhelming compared to the rest of their amazing menu. Other than that, everything else was delicious! Definitely a great spot for Indian food lovers, but I’d skip the dhal next time.

I’m not usually big on Indian food, but a friend was craving it and recommended this place—so we met her there. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The quality was great, the portions were generous, and it wasn’t overly spicy or overwhelming—something that could be enjoyed by just about anyone. Best part? Four of us ate for under $60. I’d definitely go again!

Delicious food and very reasonable prices. We got lunch thalis with rice, naan, salad and a curry. We chose Chicken saag and chana masala for our thalis and both were very delicious. Loved the salad dressing and the naans were quite fresh and soft. Our server was friendly and provided good service. The place was decently clean with a nice ambiance.

I am Indian and probably tried the worst Indiam food. Even specially said super hot spicy level, still food was too too sweet. One of the service attenders told me all the curries are pre made and everything, thats so so gross and not the exact way to make Indian food. There is no zero rating otherwise I can give that. As far as I heard, might be the owner is retired now bcz LACHI was used to good not anymore. Just a lil advice, please hire good cooks or do something better. Don't ruin the taste of India its famous bcz of spices

Satisfying meal! We ordered the non veg thali and lamb biryani, both of which were flavorful and served quickly. The Rasmalai for dessert was a perfect ending - creamy, sweet, and absolutely awesome. Great experience overall!

Absolute must go in penticton if you love indian food. They have so many choices, and options for everyone! Moved out of town and we always make sure to drop in for food! 10 out of 10 recomend!

Pizzeria Tratto was a great find. We had the Ricotta and Rocket pizza and loved it — light, fresh, and with that perfect Neapolitan crust. The vibe inside was just as good, with lots of regulars greeting each other and chatting with the staff. It felt more like a neighborhood hangout than just a restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.

Some of the best Napoleon pizza I’ve ever had! Amazing menu with so many options for everyone. The meatballs were delicious. Also the wine recommendations were outstanding. We shared a bottle of Barbera. The pizzas are meant for sharing. I was hoping for leftovers but we ate everything. Will be back soon. Returned a second time on a Tuesday and if you order a bottle of wine you get a free pizza. Amazing again!!

It is a good taste of Italian pizza. The size is bigger than what you think. I have had better taste of the dessert though;) The washrooms didn’t have signage :)

Simply mind blowing to find this gem during my 4 day camping getaway in the Okanagan. Went twice because of once wasn't enough. I've eaten all over the world the food here is world class. Also, the Teramisu was the best I have ever had. See you guys next season.

I visited Pizzeria Tratto Napoletana in Penticton at 6 PM on a weekday, and it was a fantastic experience! The place was buzzing with energy, but the staff managed to seat us promptly despite the crowd. We opted for a bottle of wine, and their “bottle shock deal” was a pleasant surprise—corking the bottle got us a free pizza, which was such a great touch! We ordered the Margherita, Prosciutto, and a special Spicy Hawaiian. The Margherita was classic and perfectly balanced with a fresh, flavorful tomato sauce and creamy fior di latte. The Prosciutto pizza was a standout with its crispy crust and fresh arugula, while the Spicy Hawaiian brought a fun kick with just the right amount of heat. The Neapolitan-style crust was spot-on—lightly charred, chewy, and soft in the center. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with a modern, open-kitchen vibe that made it feel authentically Italian. The service was top-notch—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great wine pairing suggestions. Highly recommend Tratto for anyone craving authentic pizza and a great night out in Penticton!

We had an incredible staycation dinner at Tratto Pizzeria. The vibes were energetic, the pizza was absolutely amazing, and it paired perfectly with the arugula salad. Such a delicious and fun night out in Penticton! Margarita Pizza with Prosciutto we love being able to cut our own pizza - the in house chili sauce is perfect.

Got a Sausage and Smoke to take out. An excellent pizza of our favourite style, Napoletana. Great crust, perfectly cooked with just a little scorch, lovely topping. Good service, and fast, too, at about 530 pm. Took it back to our B&B 5 minutes away and immediately tore into it with great delight. Would come back here anytime. A great find for our second wine/food/cycling trip to the Okanagan.

Have you ever had food that was so magnificent that you couldn't help but make a noise with every bite. The freshness and love that went into every dish are incomparable to any restaurant I have ever been to. The decor is simple, but the food was outstanding. Made from scratch with the perfect blends of spices and pairings to make a mouthwatering experience for your pallet. Perfectly portioned, so you leave satisfied, yet not heavy and bloated. Friendly faces, excellent service fair prices, and truly an authentic Italian restaurant. I was only visiting Penticton for a short time and returned twice, bringing more people . I definitely will return again every single time I go to the Okanagan. This place is a must while you are in the area. The photos attached do not do the dishes justice as we couldn't wait to savor each tasting; then I remembered to take pictures, lol.

My daughter and I have been there twice in the last couple months and we love it there! The service is so amazing!! The staff are so personable, we bought our second lasagna there to bring home and cook and they were delicious! Love that you can buy many of their products to serve at home! The owner and his wife are fabulous, he gave us some of his sausages to try, some arugula and eggs! I've tried other authentic Italian pizza in town and nothing compares to this pizza! If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that has the best customer service and the most amazing food, this is the place! Thanks again for the wonderful service. We will be returning soon and bringing some of our family and friends!

The husband and I finally made it out for a date! We didn't have much time to eat before catching our movie. Gusto Ferrari came through for us! Very delicious food! A great atmosphere and quick service. We were in and out within half an hour! Less expensive than pizza chains like Boston Pizza. Best pizza in the Okanagan that I have found so far!

Came here for a birthday dinner with family and friends. The staff made us feel so welcome, definitely felt the family vibe. The food was delicious! I’m looking forward to going back and trying the other pasta dishes and pizza too. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

When you enter the restaurant is now divided in half for takeout waiting area and dine-in service. Everyone was wearing masks and hand sanitizer was available for use. The service was fast and friendly, and portions generous. Cannelloni wasn't available at the time I went so the cream puff/meringue combo was ordered instead. It was delicious, no regrets there.

I'll be honest, before I went to Thailand I didn't even love pad Thai, and I have never found one since that I love anywhere else. Well wow. Their Pad Thai is absolutely phenomenal! The portions and absolutely massive, the prices are super fair, and the food is sooooo flavorful! We just tried this place a couple weeks ago and have already ordered 3 times 🫣

Our first food stop in Penticton from Vancouver as we just wanted something quick after a long road trip. We were so pleasantly surprised by how kind and sweet the lady up front was. The food was simple but delicious - exactly what we were looking for. Their Tom Yum is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. We got the lunch special sizes which we were told is smaller than their regular size but the portions were still very generous! We could tell immediately they value their regulars as the lady up front recognized and remembered the orders of a few different customers. I would definitely come here again if I visit Penticton again :)

Maggie makes authentic Thai food that’s delicious and brings justice to the cuisine here in Penticton! we got the lunch specials for pad Thai (tamarind) and drunken noodles. They come with spring rolls, taste great, & have good portions! We even went back a second time during our trip to eat before we left. If I was a local, I’d be regular. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re nearby!

Cute place for takeout Thai. Hits the spot when looking for a little spiciness in your takeout but also mild enough for those who don't want that too. Good portion size. I like that the curry includes rice. There have been times where I've ordered takeout from other places and have forgotten to add that on the order.

Walked in to order take out and the wait was 30 minutes for pick up which is a great sign that the food would be good. And it was! Far beyond my expectations. I had the chicken fried rice and my husband had the pad thai. The flavours were exceptional. The chicken was a little dry but other than that I would highly recommend And the bonus was that there was an ample amount of food for us both to have 2 meals each!

This is one of our favourite take out places in Penticton. Our kids love the spring rolls, the drunken noodles are amazing, and every time we order the service is great and food is hot, fresh, delicious and fast! (Not a sit down restaurant, grab-n-go only).

The tom yum is phenomenal. Drunken noodles and red curry were great too. Only thing was no delivery or eat-in. Took a cab there and back and still completely worth it

Our party of three arrived on a bustling Thursday night with no reservation. They had room to seat us and we had a table within minutes. Quaint old-world decor with photos on the Mantle and baskets of dried flowers hanging from the ceiling. A fireplace dominates one end of the dining room. We ordered dolmades (GF) and Saganaki (NOT GF) for our appetizers, along with the house red wine. For dinner I ordered the lamb Lemonato (GF) And my friends ordered the vegetarian plate, and the Greek rubbed ribs (GF). No one left hungry. The lamb Lemonato was very generous and I had to have a take away box for my leftovers. In all, this was a lovely experience and I would visit again to try a new and equally delicious menu item. Service was good and despite being very busy, our server had a great sense of humor.

Had an amazing dining experience at La Casa Ouzeria in Penticton with my favorite couple, Ate Criste and Kuya Hermie! The warm, inviting atmosphere paired perfectly with the authentic Greek flavors. Every dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious—truly a taste of the Mediterranean! The service was exceptional, making our meal even more enjoyable. We had reservations for two and chose to sit outside and enjoyed the quiet surroundings and sunset. Our server was very attentive and helpful with our order, and made some great suggestions. We started with the calamari appetizer and enjoyed it along with the prawn uvetsi. We got a side order of garlic parm pita that the server suggested to dip into the uvetsi sauce and it was so good we had to order another! The lamb was the star of the show. So tender and so flavourful, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely return to try more items and have that lamb shoulder and garlic parm pita again!

We did takeaway Ekmek and Baklava, they both were unreal, enjoyed them even after a full dinner! Super amazing and welcoming staff too!

Every day is perfect for homemade, from scratch and authentic Polish cuisine! Coming from the Baltic seaside town of Gdańsk Walter and Alicja bring a lovely piece of Poland to the stunning Okanagan. Polish Bistro is charming, inviting and a foodie heaven! Featuring savoury borscht, artisanal sausage, handmade pierogies and cabbage rolls and crispy schnitzel- it reminds me of some of the best places in Toronto, NYC and my European travels. Schnitzel tops any Germanic restaurants I’ve been to (Post Hotel, Waldhaus, Bavarian Inn, Old Baurenhaus) 🏆🍽🍺🥟🧆 🇵🇱

Had an amazingly comforting dinner, like someone’s grandma made you your Polish favourites. We loved the meatballs, the cheddar perogies, the Polish sausage and the sauerkraut salad. Delicious!

The Polish Bistro in Penticton is a fantastic spot, perfectly located and full of charm. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—cozy and inviting, with an authentic Polish feel, while still being a great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy a great meal. Having been to Poland myself, I was honestly surprised by how incredible the food was—it truly reminded me of the meals I had over there. The pierogies and schnitzel are both top-notch, and if you go, you have to add the mushroom sauce. It’s rich, flavourful, and takes everything to the next level. It’s also awesome to see they offer a selection of Polish beers like Tyskie—such a nice touch that adds to the authentic vibe. The gentleman who runs the front is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed environment that makes you feel at home from the moment you step inside. If you’re visiting Penticton and appreciate food made with care and heart, The Polish Bistro is absolutely worth a stop. A true taste of Poland right here in the Okanagan!

Perfect experience from the service to the food. Portion size is very generous as well. My favourite was the bacon sauerkraut perogie. Definitely won’t be our last time here

Best Borscht ever. Food here is fantastic. Traditional beers are delicious. The perogie selection provides something for everyone. There is also a nice selection of meat dishes. Highly recommended.

The food was absolutely delicious! As a Polish person, I have to say it was well worth coming here — it truly brought back the flavors of my childhood and reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking.

I’ve grown up in the Okanagan and wish I knew about this venue sooner. They have a fabulous list of artists and shows they bring in. I attended for one of my favourite artists Luca Fogale. Upon arriving the staff were very friendly. They moved us seats as someone was sitting in our seats. They have a large selection of drinks. The food was really delicious. I recommend arriving an hour before so you can get settled and have a bite to eat. The acoustics in this building are quite remarkable. And the sound quality too. Would definitely recommend checking out a show here. And I will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Dream Cafe.

What an amazing venue! It was my first time there and it was perfectly intimate and cozy with two-tiered seating to optimize the view of the stage. Steve Marriner put on an incredible show!! Kevin, who runs it was very social and informative. It was a pleasure speaking to him afterwards. The only drawback was the menu. Nothing jumped out from the appetizers or dinner choices, so I went straight to dessert. Thankfully the browned butter cheesecake was divine. I can't wait to go back

We have been to the Dream Cafe for many shows, and have recommended this venue to friends and family for years. On our recommendation we were to meet friends from Vancouver, for a show on Sept. 12/25. We are driving from Blind Bay. Sad thing is, they are closing their doors on Sept 6/25. No notice, no refund. They are still selling tickets, gift cards on their website. The Dream is now a nightmare.

I've been here mutiple times, its not my favourite venue in town but they have an amazing atmosphere to see some incredible artists. It just sucks you are not allowed to get up and dance. The seating is also tight making it dificult to even get to your seat sometimes. The food is strange but the service is stranger. Portions are expensive and very small, especially for a young man. Last time I went I had to order 4 meals which came to a hefty bill. I have always had the same server but trying to figure out what the bar serves is a challenge. My girlfriend tried to order a tequila sunrise but got told they can only make simple highballs. She ordered the worst vodka and cran either of us have tried and then the table across from us got served a margarita. I'll be back but only for the artists, expect you have to order food when you go here. Artists absolutely love coming here. The staff take very good care of them fron what i hear, showing them around our city and supplying instruments like drum kits if they need. I may not be a big fan of the service but I'm glad they take care of the artists.

Went there last night for my birthday, first time there and I got the 7 mango role ( I think that’s the name) it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. Amazing sauce, the mangos were so incredible and the perfect ripeness, very juicy. Also prawn and yam tempura, very delicious. Very nice crunchy batter. Lots of very cool art inside as well. Food came pretty fast.

Sushi Heaven truly lives up to its name. The sushi was fresh and delicious , and the service was amazing. Sol and David were incredibly polite, welcoming, and genuinely caring from start to finish! You can feel they take pride in what they do! Highly recommended 👌

Sushi heaven is literally my absolute go to sushi place for Penticton. The atmosphere is amazing covered in Mickey and Minnie photos. The service is absolutely amazing I cannot tell you how nice they are. We had to switch tables which was not a big deal at all, but for that, they gave us 2 amazing plates of potatoes and the other one of spring rolls, and you will not believe it..... ON THE HOUSE!! They were incredibly nice and our food came so quickly!!

Went during dinner time on a Sunday & the wait for food was pretty long, which was expected. Was abit disappointed with the food as the salmon sashimi didn’t taste like usual sashimi hmm. Most of the sushi rolls were also overly sweet, dowsed in sauce, which I wasn’t rly a fan of. Great service though!

Would give 6 stars if I could. Best service ever! Food was delicious and the atmosphere is great. The server even asked at the beginning if we were okay using chopsticks which no one ever asked me before in a sushi place. Awesome place with many options. Will 100% recommend 👌🏽

Great location and comfortable experience with great customer service. They are super busy and they’re working very hard. Food was okay at best maybe the chef in house wasn’t too experienced or over worked. I know being busy can lead to silly mistakes in cooking.

The service was absolutely above and beyond, and a huge shoutout to David and Sol for making our visit extra special. I love how they treated people :) Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, every bite was perfect! As a lovely surprise, we were offered a complimentary fried potato appetizer while waiting for our food, it was such a thoughtful touch and so delicious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for not just a meal, but a memorable experience!

The food: Phenomenal. The smoothies are great, the bowls are savory and full of great stuff, the banh mi wrap is my all time favourite... everything is good, filling and healthy! One of the only places I can eat at that doesn't hurt my stomach afterwards (the girls get it). They serve fast, it's easy to order ahead and have meals that are ready to be taken out and cooked at home. The service: Even better. They are kind, accommodating, personable and don't judge you when you've ordered the same thing three days in a row. The location: Feels like a community space. They always have posters of local events, host local artists and it is wheelchair accessible! Based on all my experience there, I'd also say they are neurodivergent friendly - always patient, don't mind repeating themselves and are willing to adjust. FYI: I'm not vegan or gluten-intolerant. :) I just love good food. Keep it up!

I had a disappointing experience with the customer service and management here. When I first walked in, one staff member gave me a very unsettling look and quickly walked to the back. Each time she returned to the front, she avoided eye contact and seemed uncomfortable, which made the interaction feel awkward. She was also preparing food (dates) on the counter during this time, which added to the oddness of the visit. After sharing my experience, instead of addressing my concerns, management responded by reaching out on social media in a way that felt harassing rather than professional. That left me feeling even more uneasy. If there are circumstances with staff that customers should be mindful of (such as special needs or accommodations), it would help if the business communicated that clearly, so customers aren’t left confused or made to feel uncomfortable.

Vegan dessert heaven - even half-melted a day later, the salted caramel cheezcake is to die for 😋😇 all the other treats I tried were fantastic too!! Perfect sweetness for me (I usually use about 60% of the sugar called for in recipes). The counter person was super nice and patient as I struggled to decide between all the goodies right before closing time. I loved the Vietnamese salad box too (lots of delicious peanut sauce!!) I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

We are glad we stopped by and tried. Food is fresh and tasty. We tried the Pad thai (it’s rich and filling), the Jamaican sandwich (spicy) and the smoothies. We also had the lemon cheesecake and protein bar. All dishes were really well made. The smoothies were very refreshing. It was rich and we had enough leftovers to take home with us. Will recommend.

I can rest easy knowing their food is safe! (Celiac) The desserts are AMAZING… even my non-gluten-free family agrees! I bought their salted caramel cheesecake for my wedding reception and people couldn’t stop raving about it!

Loved being able to order anything off a fully gluten free vegan menu! The Soft Taco , Chickpea Salad wrap and Mochas were amazing! Then the desserts blew me away!

Great pizza place. Came here for dinner with a group. We ordered a variety of different pizzas to all share and try. Some of the combinations I questioned as I like more traditonal flavours but the taste was great and surprisingly the flavours worked well together! The crust was a perfect consistency which I find super important with thin crust pizza. Our sever was super friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Overall, I would recommend this place if your visiting or just stopping by. Great service and great food!

Great beer selection and amazing handmade pizzas! They have sampler size glasses for $2 so you can try as many beers as you like on the menu without having to order a full glass. We've had the lobster & steak pizza (amazing!) and the Carolina BBQ pizza and everything was delicious.

Cool place to hang around for a great pizza and beer. The price for a pint of beer was not on the menu nor on their website. I could not find any info on the menu or at the bar, I had to ask the waitress how much it was. She was not exactly sure because some beers have a different price. The price for a PINT of beer is between $6.75 and $7.75. The Pale Ale, Clara Lager, Kolsch are $7.75 The Pilsner and some other beers are $6.75 Brick Pizza very good, but in my opinion overpriced. 12" = $25 15" = $32... Great staff, friendly and quick response to your order. BTW, NO happy hour menu. Drinks or food.

This is a great little place! I came here woth my girlfriend on vacation in Pentiction and wanted to scope out the local brewing scene and we were not dissapointed. The food here was very good! I loved the forester pizza because of the truffle flavouring! The staff here were excellent! Our server was very cheerful, was happy to suggest beer options for us, and overapl made our expierience enjoyable! The food here came very quickly. The ambiance was that of a typical brewery with a relaxed vibe and a lot of wood on the interior. They also have a really nice covered balcony. I would absolutely come back here!

The place was totally packed when we arrived so you can expect to wait a bit for a table. Once seated the server was very polite and professional, although after ordering it did take awhile for our beers, mind you it was Saturday and the public market had just closed, so it was very busy. After trying the Vagabond Pilsner, our group all commented that the beer was totally awesome and one of the best they had tried from a cottage brewery so far this summer. Then after the pizza arrived and eating it, for what we paid ($31), although it was good, the value was not there, both in size and the amount of toppings. In future we will just order beer without the food.

It's all about the pizza here. After doing the channel or a day at the beach, it's great to drop by and get a pizza with a sleeve of craft beer. It's pretty busy on the weekends and just overall in the summer, which does slow down the service quite a bit. They only have one oven, so I guess it's understandable. So far I've had the Calabrese, Forager, and my favorite the BCBLT. If you like mushrooms, go for the Forager. I myself like more meat on my pie. Definitely a place to check out if you're visiting Penticton.

Had such a fun time here trying different beers, recommended by our waitress. She has great taste, I liked them all! Didn’t try the pizza, but the Brewschetta was excellent. Can’t say enough how great our waitress was, if only I remembered your name!

Amazing view, service, and food. I ordered the lamb medium rare; it was amazing, cooked to perfection, it was tender and so flavorful. You can really taste the fresh herbs and zest. Highly recommend getting this beautiful dish. My husband ordered the salmon. He said it was good. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

Great place for a freshly prepared meal and the views of the lake is awesome. Since completing the renovation they only do evening meals at the moment from 4pm. Be sure to make a booking for no wait time...Highly recommend 👌

Very nice restaurant on the water. Staff are very attentive,reservations are recommended. Most items are or can be made Gluten free. I had the tenderloin they subbed the demi glaze for a red wine sauce which was very good. Teens enjoyed both their seafood dishes & tiramisu. Stunning views, always a must when we are in town.

The Hooded Merganser, Penticton We had dinner here on Friday night, and it was spectacular from start to finish. We were lucky enough to walk right in without a reservation and scored a window table with a perfect view of Okanagan Lake. Honestly, it is surprising this place is not booked out weeks in advance. It almost feels like the locals want to keep this spot a secret despite the obvious location. That is how good it is. Atmosphere and Ambience The setting is gorgeous. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake beautifully, and the vibe is the perfect mix of relaxed and upscale. It feels special without trying too hard, which we really appreciated. Service Our server Aaron was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience without hovering. You could tell he cared about making sure we had a great night. Food and Drinks We ordered the Grilled Tenderloin and the Braised Chuck Flat, and both were incredible. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour, while the braised chuck was rich, hearty, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The portions were generous without sacrificing quality, and the pricing felt very fair given the level of food and service. We each had an 8oz glass of red wine, which was reasonably priced and paired perfectly with the meal. The only downside was that we were so full we had to skip dessert, which just gives us another reason to come back. Overall The Hooded Merganser checks every box: spectacular views, incredible food, flawless service, and excellent value. Whether you are local or visiting Penticton, this is one of those places you will be talking about long after you leave. Book ahead. Trust us, this one is worth it.

Too busy enjoying to take photos while dining. however it was a bit too pricy for me for just a dinner. Should go here if it is very special dinner. We did find the portions too small even for an upscale restaurant.

We dined here as part of our wine tour with Sip Happens. What a lovely place to eat after tasting wine all day! Sitting outside, we enjoyed the quiet vibe and watching the sun sit down over the vineyard and the lake. The steak was tasty and the service was good. Would come again!

I came to your winery 10 year's ago with my English family, I bought 4 bottles of your fortified wine. I kept one bottle for a special occasion. I recently moved back to England and brought the bottle with me. my family and I enjoyed that bottle for my 48th birthday last night! it was amazing and even my dad who is a professional port demonstrator and collector was impressed with the taste and how well it kept for 10 years. We would like to thank you for the great experience and we hope to return someday to get more.

Absolutely incredible experience. Go with a few people and share a bunch of different plates and be sure to pair it with a few wines.

We showed up early (12:30) to a Saturday reservation for 1pm and thankfully it was empty (2 other tables). They sat us promptly and we had our orders in within 5 minutes, wine pairing poured quickly, and this is where everything fell apart. We then went just shy of an hour without any servers checking in and no food. The restaurant slowly filled up during that time, and before we received our first course we saw other tables receive food. At around the one hour mark our first course arrived and I told the server that we've been waiting a long time for food and service; the response was that they had a rush and she hurried off; from my vantage we were there well before any rush. We felt like our concern was brushed off. Our second course came a reasonable amount of time after the first course, but the proteins were noticeably cold, the rest of the plate was warm though. After finishing eating we flagged down a server for a bill, and were asked how things were, where we answered honestly: My meal was good, my wife's was fair but the wait and service was poor... Again the answer was that they got slammed. At this point we were already behind schedule despite arriving (and being accommodated) early, so we paid and left. It's really too bad, we were looking forward to this experience on our trip and feel that the $200+ we paid for lunch was a very poor value.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Went with my family and the ambiance was just chill and inviting. We were sat on the patio without having to wait. Our server Brooke was such a sweetheart. My aunt and uncle really enjoy her as a server as this isn’t the first time that they have lucked out to be in her section. She is is very attentive and personable. I asked her if there were any specials and she gave me some great ideas and options. Definitely enjoyed the French onion soup and the pizza was really yummy. My daughter loved her salad and everything was flavoured just perfectly. Definitely will be back. ❤️

We were staying at the Ramada and so this place ticked the convenient box, but delighted to find that the quality would have been worth travelling for. We got a table on the patio as we were blessed with late September heat but they have heat lamps too if it gets chilly. The service was prompt and friendly. Pretty typical pub grub but have to give special shout out for two things. First we asked for half/half fries and salad and we split a burger and they were really generous with the sides. We then split the ribs and it has to be said… they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Fall of the bone and lots of meat too. We went for the dry (salt and pepper) and it was a great choice. Kids were delighted with their burgers / fish and chips. Good beer selection too made this a all round good meal.

We enjoyed the food here very much. The Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Braised Rib Stack, and Pizza were all delicious. We arrived in town late in the evening, and it was the only dine-in restaurant that was still open. Although we were the last customers of the day, the staff were still very welcoming. We highly recommend the restaurant.

We went for a couple drinks and dinner. Started with the risotto bombs that were suggested by the server. They were delicious! Went on to have the pork stack (ribs, with vegetables and potato), it was pretty good, the pork was a bit dried out but falling off the bone. There was enough sauce on the ribs to still make them enjoyable. We also had the tuna poke, that was delicious. No complaints there! The atmosphere was comfortable, just don't sit under a TV if you don't want to feel like people are staring at you, as some of the TVs come right down to just above head level. Sports playing on all channels, but easy enough to ignore if you're not into that. The reason they're losing a star is because of our server. She was fantastic to start off with and she slowly got less and less attentive and professional as the night went on. Very distracted by the football game and other coworkers.

Cute little pub. Honestly surprised how many taps they had for beer. Great selection and also for the wine as well. It was snowing pretty hard outside so the place was very quiet. The service was great and the waitress was so excited to get some service in the place. Very attentive and constantly came by to see if we were doing okay. I love that they have an retro-esque theme going on and I love the design of the pub as well. Would love to see this place full of customers! Will be coming back for sure!!

Good menu selection and reasonably good dishes, food served by a friendly and courteous staff. We have the paella and T-bone steak! It was good! The cocktails were also good, the dessert was very good. Good ambiance and friendly setting. Very pleasant indeed!

A true local favourite! Barley Mill’s menu has something for everyone. Tonight we had the blackened chicken salad and the steak sandwich with a house salad—absolutely delicious. The patio made for a perfect evening. Always a go-to spot! However next time will have the brew fries 😁

We arrived late at Barley Mill Brew Pub & Sports Bistro in Penticton after a long day, and it was a fantastic choice to cap off the evening! Despite rolling in close to closing time, the staff were incredibly welcoming and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor, checking in just enough to keep things smooth without hovering. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, with that classic British Tudor-style charm—think rustic decor, sports memorabilia everywhere, and a warm, inviting vibe. The upstairs Sports Bistro, with its hockey, baseball, and football relics, added a fun, nostalgic touch, and I can see why locals love it. The place was busy, but they got us seated quickly, which was impressive for a late-night crowd. The food was amazing! We didn’t specify what we ordered, but the menu’s pub classics—think juicy burgers, beer-battered fish and chips, and hearty flatbreads—were executed perfectly, with generous portions and bold flavors. Their in-house craft beers, like the Mustang Pale Ale and Nite Mare Brown Ale, were a highlight, brewed right on-site and paired beautifully with the meal. The dog-friendly patio and big-screen TVs make it a great spot for a casual night out or to catch a game. Overall, a top-notch brewpub experience with great service and a vibrant atmosphere. Can’t wait to swing by again

Reasonable prices for big portions and quality food. The steak pot pie was lovely - not too salty and tasty gravy. The clubhouse was gorgeous on ciabatta, and big burgers! The clam chowder is pass on… not much flavor… we sat upstairs where it was quieter but less atmosphere. Servers were attentive and helpful. Would come back!

I ordered the spinach, cranberry, feta, onion, walnut salad (with pineapple sauce i believe) and a balsamic glaze with chicken. WOW. That was the best salad of my life and I eat a lot of salads. The service was awesome too!! She was quick, kind and on top of her job 110%. Great lady. 10/10 for the Barely Mill Brew Pub!! Highly recommend!!

Usually when we go there the food and service are top notch. Unfortunately today it was not. Our table was on the upper section, I had to reminder our server of the drink I ordered which she forgot. The group also asked for water and that was forgotten also. Once she was reminded then she brought the drinks which was too late because the meal was almost finished. Also the perogies I ordered were tough to eat. The tip I provided was too much and should not have been given because of the poor service and food. The server was also quite short of patience and impatient.

I had never been before so I didnt know what to expect. Well, it is MASSIVE! It was multiple streets worth of vendors and they have absolutely anything and everything you could think of! Obviously tons of produce and mouth watering Okanagan fruit! So much to look at and such neat artists and food vendors. If you have never been and are walking in there blind, make sure you bring a stroller if you have tiny kids because you're not going to want to carry them for a few hours, especially if its hot out!

👏 Amazing! The largest & most beautiful market we have ever been to and right in front of the resort we are staying at. Wow...so convenient. So much variety...veggies, fruit, honey, hot sauces & balsamic vinegars, maple syrup, wool goods, flowers, gorgeous jewelry 😍 , wine, 🍯 honey, doggie goodies, cinnamon buns, soaps, perfumes, coffee..the list goes on. A must see for all visitors to Penticton.

First time visit in early August. What a surprise!! It’s so much bigger than expected with a really good range of vendors. Everything from (amazing) local produce through food (yum) and clothing to art and jewelry. Some good finds all around. Well worth a visit. Bring the pupper if you have one. There are a lot of dog friendly water stations and shade and grassy spots along the way.

One of the best farmer’s markets in Canada with delicious fresh fruits of Okanagan Valley. Arrive early and get your breakfast here. There’s fresh organic coffee and organic homemade pastries. Also make sure to stop by at stoke the fire for pepper products made with pure love!

Honestly surprised at how large the farmers market at Penticton was when we visited in early August. Way better than the ones back in Vancouver. Plenty of fruit stands and good stalls.

Cannot bring elderly relatives anymore due to numerous careless dog owners and their leashes tripping our feet. Our families have been coming since day one and noticed the situation getting out of control. I wish they would ask animals to stay home to make it safe for all ages to enjoy. Being a permit holder for their market, gives them the ability to enforce rules and am saddened by their response.

I like this place. It's got a quirky cozy lived-in atmosphere. The vegan brie was excellent, not a lot like brie, but delicious. The pad Thai and Alfredo were okay but not great. I would definitely eat here again but would try a different main.

Delicious food and generous portions! We highly recommend. Great staff too. I am plant-based and loved the Rice Wraps while my partner enjoyed the Thai Noodle Bowl.

Great vegetarian/vegan/raw restaurant. Cute, unassuming place with indoor and outdoor seating. Try and snag a seat outside, great for people watching. I highly recommend the raw tacos. Messy but delicious. They use ground cashews for the ‘taco meat’. You can also get meals with chicken. I highly recommend this place!

I got take out today and took it back to my campsite. Sooo unbelievably delicious!! I got teriaky chicken, braised shiitake mushrooms, rice and the strawberry spinach almonds salad with lemon ginger dressing. Chicken melt in your mouth good and soooo tasty. I topped it off with the raw blueberry cheesecake. It got a little melt by the time I got to eat it, but it was worth every gooey spoonful. Very very delicious. Thank you for preparing a wonderful meal for me, wild scallion, which I enjoyed in nature :)

Wow! I'm not really into vegan dishes but this place changed my mind and pallet. It's is very flavourful. Must try is the vegan brie..so delicious and creamy. I had the vegan pad Thai, which had just the right nutty flavor and spice to it. We also tried the chicken teriyaki, not dry at all, and came with a lot of serving. Cost was 60 for a family of 4.

Best food I've ever sat down to eat. Quick and quality is what your in for as well very friendly staff. Gluten free is the main on the menu, very refreshing to see!!!

My mom and I came here for lunch in August and loved it. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Penticton and lots of great vegan selections with an South East Asian inspired menu. The Laksa was fantastic, definitely get the hot sauce on the side. Delicious salad rolls, excellent pad Thai. Fresh and flavourful ingredients. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

Lovely place to get breakfast all day potatoes were crispy and delicious not my favorite style eggs were alittle runny wasn't asked what degree I'd like them baisted to but I'm sure I still could of asked to have them changed or cooked how I prefer them the rye toast was hearty and real real good 👍🏼 coffee was great and I heard the eggs beni was great aswell n complaints will be going here as often as I can and will be recommending this place to friends and family

I’m on the road quite a bit lately and always looking out for a decent place to eat that isn’t a fast food chain. I love a good, classic breakfast and Bear’s Den was just across the road from where I was staying. Thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. I was the only person in the place at 7:00am, so my order got to me very quickly. The decor is a bit old, but has its charm. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price was pretty decent as well. Will definitely make this a regular stop whenever I’m in Penticton.

When you first walk in the young man that greater me was confused about the seating.... but only five customers were there.my coffee cup was filled with thing's that should not be ingested. Customers seem to enjoy them selves....meal was hot and timely. Brenda was polite and helpful. .. the beef dip was awesome 👌

Tucked in amid the emerging hotel district by the Trade and Convention Centre, this is a great spot for breakfast and lunch comfort food. No frills, just great cooking. Fresh made burger and fries, and the house cabbage borscht were outstanding. Service was prompt even though the restaurant was quite busy. Prices are significantly below current market, an added bonus. It's easy to miss the entrance, and parking out front is limited; there's lots more around the back. Pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed. Recent upgrades to the menu are well worth checking out. Small adjustments in pricing, but still a great homemade bang for your buck. Standout among the news offerings is the Greek Eggs Benny. Brilliant twist on classic fare, perfectly prepared.

Seems to be closed for renovation. I wish it was mentioned somewhere on the website and saved us a walk across town. A pity, seemed like a lovely place!

We had the eggs Benedict and honesty, it was fantastic! Look at the colour of these yolks! Prices are good, the food is amazing, staff was kind. Enjoyed our breakfast for sure. Highly recommended

My wife and I liked this restaurant for breakfast. They seemed to be short staffed every time we went but the servers were very happy and efficient. I liked the bear breakfast so I ordered it every time. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, the square potatoes nice and tasty and the eggs over easy and great. My wife varied her selections but was always happy with her meals. I recommend this restaurant over a few others around we visited. Give Bears Den Restaurant a try you will like it.

We had a wonderful experience at Upper Bench Estate. Our host Aaron did a terrific job guiding us through their wine and cheese tasting. Their cheeses are delicious and we purchased the double cream Brie. We really enjoyed the wines as well especially their Chardonnays. I highly recommend visiting this winery.

My new favourite winery in the Okanagan! 🍷 How can you complain when wine is perfectly paired with cheese? It was such a thoughtful and delicious experience. We also ordered the pizza, which was absolutely brilliant—fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wine. The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were all perfect. I’m already looking forward to many more visits as a loyal customer!

Wow, I can’t say enough about a wonderful experience I had at the upper bench with my spouse. We have been looking for a place that has wine and Woodfire oven pizza and we came upon another place before we arrived at upper bench. They had turned us away because they couldn’t accommodate so we were so disappointed and went to numerous places that either didn’t serve food or didn’t serve pizza not to mention wood fired/gas oven and as we were driving back, we came upon The Upper Bench winery and Creamery for the first time. This establishment encompasses all things a restaurant Winery should have… friendly staff, wonderful wine & cheeses Pizza and ambiance. And great service… The server welcomed us with a huge smile and couldn’t do enough for us so pleasant and professional . I met the owners and they we’re absolutely lovely and welcoming. The feeling when you walk in was one of warmth & welcoming. It was a shaded area so you didn’t have to feel hot in the baking sun.. The beverages were fantastic. The Rose & Reserve Chardonnay amazing!!…. But then came the best pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life truly and I’ve tasted so many. We shared the king pizza with their lovely cheeses and prosciutto made right there it’s undeniable the difference that made in the toppings but it’s the CRUST I have not come across that crust anywhere in the Okanagan let alone any places on the mainland and travelling abroad. Crust was light, airy crispy, no soggy, and the flavour of the crust is amazing like I’ve never tasted before….. in a word PERFECTION!! I told my spouse we need to order another one as we live half an hour away, and I don’t think I could go without another one that week lol we have found our new go to place in Naramata now. So what started as a disappointing day being turned away from another restaurant turned into an AMAZING find!!. Do yourselves a favour go check it out you will feel very welcome……wishing them all the very best now and in the future with this fantastic establishment! I miss them already! We WILL be back! Highly Highly recommend!!

This place is really special! Not only do you get some amazing wine, but they also make their own cheeses! The cheese board they offer is one of the best I’ve ever had! The bruschetta was also exceptional! The fungi pizza was pretty good, but I’ve had better. The wine offered was quite good as well, but I enjoyed other tasting experiences more, which is why I am giving them 4 stars. They have a couple dogs who hangout out in the area too and are super friendly!

Stopped in to buy some cheese. Amazingly good. A definite stop next trip. We bought Moody Cow, Okanagan Sun & King Cole. All made the trip home and were simply excellent! World class. Next time we’re buying wine. Based on the quality of the cheese, I’m predicting their wine should be excellent. My rating is 10/10 for cheese. Well worth making the trip. I had no idea BC was producing cheese of this quality. Highly recommended.

This local shop offers a delightful selection of delicious and tasty cheeses! While we didn’t have the opportunity to try their pizza, it appears to be a standout dish made with their own cheese. The lady at the shop was incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to describe all the details of each product. Give it a try and savor the experience!

I am not a red wine person, but I have tasted two wonderful red wines from Da Silva. I really liked the taste of Pinot Noir. If you are a white or rosè wine person, I think you’re gonna like this one. We bought 1 bottle of White Wine Isabella which is really good. 👍🏻 Twyla was really sweet and gave us the chance to explore the taste on our own. The interiors of the winery were elegant, ambience was really peaceful. A great experience overall. I would highly recommend going here if you are confused where to begin. You will get to taste 4 - 2 white and 2 red wine at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful location and a creative food menu. Tapas style. Serves local wines. Trying to emulate the European dining experience, so food arrives in separate portions and in a random order. But it gets stretched out a bit too much for my tastes.

A fantastic experience at Da Silva Winery! We had such a superb time—Shantelle was an incredible host and made our tasting truly unforgettable. Her energy, warmth, and charisma created such a fun, engaging vibe from the moment we arrived. She brought the wines to life with her knowledge and humor, and made everyone feel welcome and relaxed. The tasting itself was beautifully curated, but it was Shantelle’s personality and connection that took it to the next level. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. Great service, our server was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations however the view and the fruit flies flying around definitely brought down the vibe. The wine tasting would’ve been better if we could choose the wines ourselves

This was my third visit to Da Silva in 2 years and I would say this one was particularly disappointing, not because of the food (which was delicious) but because of the staff - from the phone call to the service in the dining room. I couldn't make a reservation online for lunch, and so called and was told they couldn't reserve for me and it was 'first come first serve'. This made no sense, and when we arrived the person in the tasting room seemed incredulous that we had no reservation, and was rather patronizing. We received a similar attitude in the dining area but did manage to be seated in the last available table (there were several empty tables at 1:30-2:00 that were apparently already reserved). We felt the service was also a bit patronizing and directive (you WILL have to have 5-6 dishes and you WON'T be able to fit flights of wine and food on your table). In the end the food and wine were both very tasty and the service turned around a little, but overall the experience was disappointing and I would choose or recommend another establishment next time.

We had a mushroom pepperoni ham pizza which was delicious. Crust was light and baked very well. Only downside was that it was self serve and they encourage cleanup afterwards as well due to what I think is a staffing shortage. Otherwise everything was great.

Great tri dip , large spanakopita and Greek salad is a great deal. It’s on the appetizer menu. There is a larger platter with rice and chicken etc so specify which you want. Pizza is awesome Spanakopita pizza is awesome. The Greek salad is generous with feta and big chunks of tomato and so fresh

Watch for extra charges. Ordered the enchiladas for lunch. The menu lists the 3 choices, meat, sauce and cheese. Then on the bill I was charged an extra $2 for mole sauce and $2 for feta. So the meal went from $21.50 to $25.50 just for ordering what was supposed to be included. The food was good but could have been fresher. The tomatoes in the salsa were mushy. Not a bad place but expensive and I don't like the hidden extra charges.

Genuinely the best Mexican food I've had in years. The prices were fair and the quality of the meal was insane. This is the kind of Mexican food you don't just throw together at home. It's legit.

Should've read the reviews so we didn't have to order from here. Was craving nachos today, so we ordered this for takeout. And the nachos were SOGGY, cheese is cold, and everything in the container was like one huge disappointing lump :( I was so hungry I still ate some parts that were not appalling to my tastebud. I have only read the reviews now, especially about the takeouts so it was such a waste to have ordered it from there. We haven't eaten dine-in so I cannot comment on that, and gave it a neutral 3 stars, as well as the service 'cause I didn't wanna be too harsh. If we may dine in and have a better experience in the future, I'll update my review.

Absolutely delicious food! Everything we had was so flavourful. The drinks were awesome, and the atmosphere was really lovely and up beat. Definitely a must go in the summer to sit outside and enjoy a margarita. My one complaint would be that there was hardly any green sauce on my enchiladas(pictured) :( but everything else was so fantastic that it wouldn’t be worth taking a star off for it.

This restaurant should have zero stars. Went last night for our reservation for 8-10 people, sat down and waited for 10 minutes. One us of got up and walked over to ask for drinks. They were out of ingredients, no big deal. Managed to order 5 drinks and they never came back to our table. They served the other 2 tables but left our table deserted. We left and went to another restaurant who actually wants customers . Such a weird interaction. I feel they ghosted us because we were a large table.

Came here tonight with a family of 10. Great service by the señor in the cowboy hat, he handled us all pretty well. I always love coming to this place for the great authentic Mexican food. I have never had a bad meal here. Tequila shots and the margaritas went down smooth and the tortilla soup is my favourite, we definitely will be coming back again. Food came out quick and the service was awesome👍🏼👍🏼

It's great here! The service is fantastic, the food is always tip top and they have a portion called a 'smug' which is a proper good size for a beer. My friends and I are quickly turning this place into our go to spot for a night out.

Great service, allergies were stated and the waitress came back to make sure that I was comfortable with items from the fryer. Our drinks were never empty before we were asked if we wanted another. As we are visiting from the Lower mainland we definitely would come back. The boys loved the beer tower.

The best Martini in town! Families welcome before 7 on the lower floor. Typical pub food served by friendly efficient staff. There is often live entertainment on weekends - call first to be certain. The music is not too loud so clientele are able to visit as well as dance.

Must visit for anyone coming to Penticton. All the staff are welcoming and friendly individuals making a personal experience. Amazing wine selection (photo is the Teatro white wine) and the food is exceptional! The chef is extremely talented and makes sure each plate is beautiful and delicious (Photos are of the schnitzel options currently available). Another selling factor is the location overlooking the lake and town. Would recommend to anyone looking for a true BC winery with amazing views and eats.

Amazing view - calling this restaurant ‘The Vista’ is completely fitting of the incredible vista from the patio overlooking Skaha Lake. And the menu is tasty and very reasonably priced. Great appetizers for an afternoon bite and a happy hour deal that includes a bottle of Play Estate wine and 2 handhelds/flatbreads for $60! A definite place to try and then try again! ❤️

Had an excellent meal on the patio at The Vista restaurant with friends. Perfect spot to relax, enjoy some good food and wine and take in the spectacular views of Skaha Lake. Loved the fresh, approachable menu with lots of variations/gluten free options - such a unique find in the area! We will be back - thanks Play Estate!

Went today for the happy hour. Tried the Smokanagan and Skaha Hills flatbreads. They were amazing. The service was excellent and the wine was great. Beautiful view from the patio and dining room. We look forward to returning for dinner. This is one of our new favorite places.

What a hidden gem! We really enjoyed our meal and tasting at Play. The service from staff was fantastic, and the property itself is accompanied by phenomenal views of the lake valley. Despite a change in the restaurant, the food was fantastic, priced reasonably, and offered a variety to fit all palates.

Such a cute store and the kids working are friendly and creating some unique treats! We sampled the deluxe cones, milkshake and the simple soft serve cone! While the presentation of all were exciting and decadent the flavours lacked definition and kind of all smoosh together. Price is quite high for the quality of the product. However if you want an amazing picture worthy experience all around, this is the place!

Too much sugar for a shake! It was much sweeter than a usual shake. I asked for mix of two for the shake but wasn’t really tasting like that.

Sensational store. Fantastic presentation and decorations. Every treat here looks amazing. But be sure you have enough in your savings account as things can get pricey quickly. They did not have the pineapple soft serve option - so that was disappointing... but the littles were able to find something they liked and I kept it simple with a screamer.

vv cute place, with tons of ice cream and shake options (although the cake shakes were limited, but good, nonethless). 4 stars only bc the cake tasted a little stale and artificially, like its been sitting there for days, might j be me but didnt fully enjoy the cake. right next to the beach, just rlly vibey. Id say its a must visit if you have a sweet tooth and youre around the beach. staff was really sweet and nice! be prepared to finish the whole cake shake in one go because theres no way for you to take it for takeout, and those are humongous!

Yum! The biggest complaint I have is how long it took me to make a decision on what to order lol super cute Cherry Decor 🍒 and so many things I want to try in this shop and the other Ice cream shop it shares is space with. Cherry shop on left are all soft serve options whereas the ice cream shop on the right is hard serve (needing to be scooped).

The coolest place to get ice cream or milkshake! The sweet treats are a bit pricey, however they are very large and can easily be split between 2 people. The ice cream are not only picture worthy but also tasty. Definitely wroth checking out next time your passing by!

Everything tasted fine. The issue I had was with how the server added the toppings. My soft serve was barely dipped in the chocolate (maybe 1/2 to 2/3 of my ice cream was till showing) and then for the Skor bits, she measured out the amount I was supposed to get in a cup then poured it on the cone over the garbage can and then shook the cone for the excess to fall off - again, into the garbage! If you want just soft serve with no extras - go here. Don't bother paying for anything extra.

The coffee was as superb each of us getting our own Bodum Carafe The servers are buzzing, the cooks are chopping, the brassiere is hot and finishing our meats to perfection. My fathers breakfast parfait was loaded with goodness The bacon benny had artisan smoked bacon unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. The crispy, tasty coating on the chicken with crispy at the edge moist softly waffled waffles deep pockets of butter and syrup… Got 10x busier after 930am and even the outdoor patio loaded up as well Overall fantastic 10/10

Went for lunch today with my daughter, first time for us. Service was excellent and quick, good chill vibe here. I tried the crafty burger and fries, she tried the kids chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips were amazing and we love the style of french fries here, the burger was good, i liked the ciabatta bun, meat was cooked and seasoned excellent, house sauce is tasty, went w provolone cheese, nice option, but I felt the tomato could be trimmed down a little bit and I got a piece of the lettuce core on mine. But totally cool spot, we will be back.

Our server whose name I don't recall, but she was wearing a necklace with the letter J on it, Was a great representative of your restaurant. You need to keep her as she deserves a raise. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Hubby had the breakfast sandwich which was more of a burger with an egg 😍. My Greek salad was outstanding. Absolutely massive. Vicki was our server and she was so personable. Cannot recommend enough. Most ingredients made in house. 11/10

The portion sizes are big, food tastes very good, perfect for bunch. They even have a kids menu and coloring sheets to entertain. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very busy which lead to a longer wait for food as they seemed overwhelmed but was worth the wait.

First time going to this place and it won’t be the last, We went for breakfast and you know when a restaurant is good when you walk in and it’s packed. The food is excellent and the portions are big, the coffee very good, our server Karly was very attentive and very polite, they had a very good selection of music so the atmosphere was great. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Some of the most talented local cooks and servers have found their way here. The people that run the place are wonderful. Great food. Great coffee (served in your own bodum) and good times. Brunch is the popular option right now and they do provide lunch. Soon hopefully they will be open for dinner. Fingers crossed.

5 stars for flavours-from the Thai red curry to the Chinese style chicken and vegetable stir fry (added a side of rice) Vegetables were fresh and still had texture, lots of chicken in the stir fry and portions are substantial-good for sharing but more than enough for one person with a big appetite. Casual, minimalist interior, it was a full house but still quiet enough to enjoy table conversation. Robot waiter was cool and the people servers were prompt and friendly too!

Fried vermicelli is pretty nice. Egg rolls can pass. We saw many people order sesame chicken. No regrets at all! Chicken breast was fried to crispy and the sauce is not too sweet but good flavoured. It’s a bit pricey but at least not bad.

Vegan options were clearly marked and service was very fast. Felt like our food came out no more than 5 min after ordering. They also had a cute robot server that winks at you if you're lucky. 4/5 for food because didn't feel like the quality matched up with the prices. Portion size was decent but we ordered 3 mains which was a perfect amount for just the two of us.

Massive portions. Service is always quick. Very reasonably priced for the amount that you get. Paid 65 for two plates and a large wonton soup that could easily feed 3.

Great menu and so many options. It smells wonderful and the food is delicious. Also friendly staff and a robot that delivers your dishes. Very cool.

Walked in to order take out. The wait was 20 minutes although it did end up being much longer. But it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered teriyaki chicken and the red thai curry. The teriyaki chicken flavours were awesome and my husband said the red thai curry was the best be has ever had! The quantity of food was ample for us to have 2 meals each. Highly reconmend Wild Ginger

I’m a big fan of Penticton Pizza. I just had just an odd interaction with their delivery driver. Elderly gentleman, walks up my driveway and immediately tells me he’s not making any money, that it’s Trumps fault that they have to pay all this money for the boxes and ‘he’ has to pay a guy to fold the boxes. He goes on and on that he is making no money. I feel bad, he is past retirement age but it was an uncomfortable exchange. I’m not sure I will order again. As always the pizza was fantastic.

The pizza is good. Butt the very best part was Ronnie delivering to us. He was such a sweet man to my 1 yr old. He even gave her a present. They need to get him back asap.

I ordered a ham and cheese pizza, but unfortunately, it was not ham. The meat on the pizza was unrecognizable — more like a mystery meat — and definitely not what I expected. If ham is not available or if a substitute is being used, I believe restaurants should clearly advertise that change. It was disappointing and felt like a waste of money, as we ended up not eating the pizza at all. Transparency goes a long way, and I hope this is taken into consideration for future customers.

Pizza was super delicious, i think one of the best we have had even when compared to Ontario pizzerias. We got chicken deluxe 16inch and it was pretty big and filling, the toppings were below the cheese which made them juicy and moist. Everything is halal here which is great! There was no seating when we went, more of a takeout spot and best to order ahead.

This is the BEST GLUTEN-FREE pizza we've ever had !! It has everything going for it. The size (14"), the crust infused with herbs, and it was golden brown on the underside, which means its been cooked all the way through. Plus, it was well done like we asked it to be. They added plenty of toppings and did not skimp on them nor the amount of cheese on top. When we opened the box, the pizza was hot like it just came out of the oven. Even after we drove down the street to the park to eat!!

Truly everything was delicious - came two days in a row! Great open grass field for the kids to run around, low-key chill atmosphere. Unbelievable savoury and sweet options. Gluten-free options! Everything was delicious. No complaints. Highly recommend, make this a stop during your Penticton vacation! All the staff were fabulous and kind.

This place is wonderful! It has beautiful, relaxed Sunday-morning atmosphere everyday with jazzy music and outdoor tables. I will definitely visit the storefront when it opens. And the crepes are legit! Savory and sweet are both so good and different than lesser crepe places with their combos. But the coffee is really the super star!!!

Amazing food and atmosphere! I had the Bruce crepe which had Nutella, bananas and toasted almonds. Paired it with a delicious Vietnamese coffee. Would eat here again!

Probably one of my top 3 places in the world I’ve eaten. Food is amazing, every crepe has a unique flavour. The staff are friendly, and very French. Which adds to the atmosphere. The area on the grass, next to the water and the historic Sicamous gives it a vintage feel and is particularly amazing when they have live music. Can’t say enough good about it. Highly recommend their Sheridan, Breaky and Teddy bear crepes and Vietnamese coffee or their sodas.

My favourite summer spot ❤️ I can’t resist getting a savoury crepe and a sweet crepe every time. I recommend trying something different every time- all of the crepes are a hit! Also looove their Vietnamese coffee! It’s a must try!

Unfortunately, it's difficult to find a Healthy place to eat out, or in Penticton. Last census data stated 220 plus restaurants, I'm not sure if that figure includes food trucks. Darren and Yesenia, a husband and wife team! I can wholeheartedly recommend the Burrito wraps, and the Spicy chickpeas are Awesome. There's a romantic table for two, and a pet outside of this clean eatery. It's close enough to Penticton HS, and wise students have discovered AV. The fresh air fried fries with a Veg mushroom gravy are popular. To date, this is the highest ranked restaurant in the South Okanagan. My acilades do not affect what fellow arbitrator Google responders are stating, but every review counts. Especially for Ma and Pa businesses.

Angry Vegan is the best spot in town for a quick, healthy bite. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and everything tastes great. My go-to is the Gyro Wrap—fresh, filling, and full of flavour. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Angry Vegan. Despite the name of the place there's no angry vibes at all, the owner Darren is such a great and friendly guy. We had a few of the wraps, all being great, the gyro wrap was especially awesome! 👌 The poutine with homemade cheese and the potato-salad was also really tasty. They have wraps, bowls, burger, smoothies, juices & other tasty treats. Wish we had more time to try even more from the menu. Next time. Definitely pay them a visit and support your local businesses 🌱💯🌯

Fantastic restaurant! Should be renamed 'The Jovial Vegan.' &Ohmygoodness, what we tried was amazing! Friends of ours who aren't vegan were blown away by the poutine (perhaps they'll be more adventurous next time 😃) I got the 'Green Warrior Burger' + 'Rasta Pasta/Salad' as a side

Simple tasty, good value vegan eats. Highly recommend this place. The owner/chef was friendly. This place is in the heart of downtown & is ideal for visitors & locals. My husband got the tofu scramble wrap & it was HEFTY & HEARTY. I got the fruit blend smoothie & poutine. The smoothie was refreshing, & the poutine had a great blend of creamy cashew cheese & savoury mushroom gravy. There’s no chance of being hangry at the Angry Vegan.

Despite the name, the owner is not "angry", he's a very friendly guy! This is an unassuming place. The food was extremely tasty! Well seasoned, very nice blend of flavours. We had the refried black bean wrap and the spicy hashbrown wrap, which was a feature. They were both so good, we were very impressed. Also had a slice of banana bread which was delicious as well! Highly recommend this place, the food was well worth the price, especially considering it's all homemade. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Forget the busy coffee shops down near the waterfront. Visit Joy Road for simple excellent drip coffee and an AMAZING selection of baked goods on a beautiful shaded patio. They are a pop up in there present location on Main Street but I would recommend following them to wherever they put down roots as they clearly know why they are doing and doing it well!

I stopped by the Joy Road pop-up bakery last summer. It was super cute! They had some local goods available for purchase. The lemon tart was one of the best I have ever tasted. I cannot wait to see what they do with their new space. Looking forward to many more visits!

While I haven't been into the bakeshop yet, Joy Road Catering served incredible food at our wedding. They prepared risotto for our first course and chicken/salmon with local seasonal vegetables for the main course. It was amazing to be able to treat our guests to local, gourmet food. Amanda at Joy Road was great about accommodating our guests' dietary needs. We felt so lucky to be able to treat our guests to such a wonderful meal served by excellent staff.

Had lunch here today and it was amazing! The crispy pork belly bowl was out of this world. The patio is adorable and the staff are incredibly friendly. Definitely coming back! Can't wait to try their bombolonis

This place is amazing - we stopped in for a coffee and ended up getting incredible breakfast sandwiches, cookies, a tart and a massive galette. All seriously delicious. The owner mentioned that they’re getting their liquor license soon, so I’m looking forward to going back and trying the whole menu with a glass of wine next time 😎

Tacos del Norte absolutely delivered! We stopped in on a recent trip and wow—SO good. Fresh, flavour-packed food, super friendly staff, and just good vibes all around. I’d been here years ago, but it’s even better than I remembered (either that or my taco standards have evolved… in the right direction). We were too busy inhaling our food to take many photos, but I did manage to take a video—might upload it later if I remember (no promises, I was mid–taco bliss). My husband and I both agreed: we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. This spot is the real deal. 🌮🔥

Ate here yesterday and had the chorizo, carnita and Steak tacos! Soooo good! Very impressed with how fresh the salsa was! The steak was a bit challenging to eat because there was so much steak falling out of the taco, but it was all delicious! I had 4 tacos for about $25 and it included several very large cups of freshly made salsa. Definitely not massive fast food portion sizes, but it was the perfect meal amount and the quality was so good! Will definitely be back again!

I've been coming to pentiction every summer for 20 years and never tried Jeffers before this year for some reason even though I knew where it was . The BEST food I've had a LONG time . So good I've been 4 times this summer . Poutine is the best however you can't go wrong with fries and gravy ! Tried the fish and chips tonight could have been crisper but I know for next time to say well done . Until next summer!

Everytime I visit Penticton I make sure to get a order of fries. These are ***the best*** fries in the Okanagan. I havent had anything close to East Coast Chip-Truck fries anywhere in Western Canada until I found Jeffers. Family run business, locally owned. An Okanagan gem. Thanks for the fries!

Amazing poutine place!!! I’m a poutine lover through and through and have tried many but this place is definitely the best I’ve ever tried. Not only is the food amazing but Jeff is also extremely kind and lovely and goes above and beyond to provide amazing service! Everyone needs to support this local business run by awesome people providing great food. I’ll for sure be by to visit as much as I can while I’m on my travel nursing contract. Short version: Go here. Best Poutine in the Okanagan. The photo is of a medium served in a large cup to accommodate extra cheese. They never skimp here and a regular order is always overflowing the cup. Longer version: 15 years ago my Quebecoise wife took me here when I first visited Canada. She was a fruit picker working in the area for several years, don't worry she's one of the good ones ;) and wanted to introduce me to her national dish. I am a typical gluttonous American who loves fries and burgers but I had never heard of this thing called poutine. We stopped by, picked up a couple cups of fries covered in gravy and cheese and headed to the waterfront. My life has not been the same since. I have now made it my mission to eat poutine everywhere I can find it. From Victoria to Quebec City to Halifax to Shediac and everywhere in-between. Jeffer's holds up. I cannot in good conscience say it's better than the best I've had in Quebec, but for BC it is right at the top of my list and it's better than many I've had in Quebec as well. Please go. It is a modern Penticton institution. And if you are an American who has never heard of poutine, give it a shot and you may discover a new foodie obsession. One critique I have is that the cup type vessel is not the best for poutine. Great for just fries, but I prefer a tray type vessel for poutine. It helps the fries stay crisp and lets you kind of select how much cheese and gravy you may like with each bite.

A great little gem off the beaten track of the busy beach area. The fish and chips were different, the batter being light, crunchy and delicious. Poutine was great as well! Ketchup pumps often empty. They avoid offerring table service. You have to ask, and even then they often forget to put your number on the order so you don't get your food until you realize it is sitting at the counter getting cold. Wheelchair / accessability button for inside doors doesn't work. Apparently they don't really care about the mobility challenged. Avoid this American conglomerate. Even if they have a local owner and local employees, none of them appear too interested in their customers. Elbows Up Canada!

Wow, this place has sure changed since I worked here and not for the better. The front counter and drive thru pick up area are so disorganized and inefficient. When Joe & Kathy owned this place it ran like a well oiled machine. Bit disappointed TBH. I ordered a grilled chicken, which I know takes extra time (I used to work grill here), but 20 minis a bit ridiculous. It's lunch, have one in the holding cabinet.

Stopped by McDonald’s recently and had a pretty average experience overall. 🍔 The service was okay — nothing exceptional, just standard. For vegetarians though, the menu felt very limited, with not many options to choose from. 🌱 On the brighter side, the fact that it’s open 24/7 is a big plus, especially for late-night cravings or early morning stops. 🌙☀️ The drive-thru service was smooth and quick, which made things more convenient. 🚗 Overall, not the best for variety, but reliable when you need something anytime.

Food tasted decent. The staff does not pay attention to the order slips at all. Order a double burger, they gave a single, ordered a large fry, they gave me a small, told me they were "sold out" of kids meals! Paid over $20 for food that was not what I ordered. I asked the staff worker if it was a double burger, she stated yes it was. The worker lied about what food was in the bag. Will not support this location any further.

I was ordering in drive-thru, and the one that taking my order just laughing all the time. Every time Im saying the item she was laughing. And the worst thing is, she did not talk anymore. She just left me while talking in drive thru. After 3 mins I go forward and then the other worker saying she left already. Her name is RIZA. Dont ever put her there, very unprofessional!

Food - 4 stars Service - 2 stars Atmosphere - 4 stars I give only 2 stars for service because some, if not most.. employees discriminate against anyone who looks like they might be financially struggling, or homeless. They rarely will let anyone (in that judgmental category) use the washroom even after purchasing food items, and if they do.. within 2 - 3 minutes they are pounding on the door yelling that they have been in there for 15 minutes and will be calling the police. In some cases they even will use a key to unlock the door and open it on someone who is literally on the toilet. I have seen it happen more then once and it's completely discusting.

Second time in a week I’ve come in, drive through still not fixed. And they seem to always try to deter me from ordering. Telling me it’s going to be 20 minutes. Only one chicken breast left. This time it was lunch time and only 2 tables occupied. The first time I came little later, my dinner break from work , but again it’s going g to be 20 minutes for chicken strips. Yes I went to Popeyes food took less than 5 minutes. My mom likes the chicken breasts that’s why I’m back. But Disappointed

Had a great experience at KFC! The food was fresh, tasty, and served hot. The staff were friendly and quick with service, even during busy hours. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Definitely one of the better fast food experiences I have had,will be coming back again for sure!

Third time trying to get a decent twister. Drive through closed, staff seem indifferent. Got horrible sandwich, no tomato or sauce, double cooked chicken pieces (hard and almost burnt). Wrap kinda slopped together, one piece lettuce. Never ever again. This restaurant has gone down the drain. Owners trying to cheap out. Making bad name for kfc

I wish I took the name of your manager who was working tonight 28 May 2025. I had a bad experience ordering with Skip the dishes and I never got my order. I went into the location and your manager turned a bad experience around. I will be forever greatful for her kindness. She went about and beyond. People like her is who you want as the face of your company. She is a keeper thank you KFC I will be back.

Manager of this location called me due to a complaint I made, I informed her I will be recording the conversation and she said it’s illegal and against kfc policy and that she was going to hang up if I continued to record, I continued to record cause I knew that was a lie. I think it’s really important for managers at this location to know what the law is and not lie to customers, even if ur new in Canada or B.C, don’t make up your own rules, you can say sorry for what you do but continuing to lie to get your way is bad customer service.

Went through the drive through, ordered 2 bagels, got back to our room and opened them and they were almost cold completely cold. Such a hurry to rush people through, not doing their jobs correctly. Toaster is obviously on the fastest setting to push them through. Staff should be held accountable and do their jobs correctly, even when supervisors are not working.

Terrible experience with online app ordering. Got there and part of our order was there. Waited 15 mins and still didn't receive the rest. Asked if it was coming 4x and still didn't get the full order. The order might have been swiped by someone but when we asked where it was they should have prioritized filling the order instead of us having to ask "is it coming?" several times. Seemed like there was dysfunction where one staff member asked for a replacement multiples but never received it.

When I ordered a 20 pack off assorted timbits I wasn't aware that meant all timbits except powered. Those are also timbits are they not? I saw the basket of them at the bottom. They were full. I don't recall saying I didn't want powdered timbits I do know that I said assorted. When did the definition change? We didn't notice until we got home. Why would we got think they would even if you left out one whole flavor when I asked for assorted. I miss when Tim Hortons had fresh donuts and gave you powdered when you asked for assorted .

Food always late, When ordering online expect to wait 10 minutes just to remind them you ordered online and have them sigh and make it in that moment. Place is always crowded and the exit door smelled like urine for the whole week. Lots of space but lack of outlets in most spots.

Placed a mobile order two days in a row, neither time did I get my drink in a timely fashion. 15 minute wait only to find out they didn’t even realize I had put in a mobile order - ridiculous. Day 2 - I finally got my drink (after having to wait in line just to ask where my order was) and it was wrong! I had to leave with out it or a refund :-/

I do delivery with Door Dash, Skip the dishes and Uber eats since last 5 years and have done various areas like Greater Vancouver area, Greater Toronto area, Windsor area and Niagara Region and now I am doing in Okanagan Region from Kelowna to Penticton. I was picking up order few days ago from this location fir door dash delivery and as seen in the picture, order was packed like that which had one drink and food and when I asked politely them that could you please pack in the proper bag, arrogant manager clearly said no and told me that they don’t pack one drink in the bigger bag with drink tray. So, here is the common sense that if drink falls in the bag and spilled, clearly blamed to delivery driver and even if bag has partitions, without drink tray, how driver can handle delivery which was packed like this. Is driver going to driving or holding drink to deliver. Manager is arrogant and has high ego. I’m questioning even to myself that who hired him, who trained him!!!! No common sense or may be jealous with delivery driver. Plus, manager told me that if the customer has any question, they can talk to him but seems to be he doesn’t care if the customers. Manager needs to learn to talk with people who come there and doesn’t matter who are they, customer or delivery driver. While talking showing only attitude like he owns this Tim Hortons. I will avoid this place for ordering for sure for my own food because I am not wasting my money and if the packaging is this way, it clearly shows that they don’t care for the customers. Needs to think about it…………

Farmer sausage wrap. Don’t get it from this location. They used a hash brown from 10hr ago! The eggs were good just the hash brown soooo hard and dried out it almost broke my tooth.! ! Terrible, my favourite thing to get but not at this location!!!come here if you want to lose teeth. Staff nice food a 0 out of 10.

At this Tim Hortons drive-through, my coffee was mistakenly handed to the car ahead of me. That customer returned it — and instead of remaking it, staff passed the same cup to me. This is not just poor service — it’s a breach of B.C.’s Food Premises Regulation under the Public Health Act. The law is clear: once a single-use cup or drink has been served to any customer, it must never be re-served to someone else. Single-use containers are exactly that — single use. When I raised the concern, management told me I “could have refused” the coffee. That shifts responsibility onto the customer and ignores food safety law. The responsibility lies with the business to follow sanitary handling protocols that protect every customer, every time. This is a food safety violation, not a matter of preference, and it erodes trust in the brand. I have reported this to the local health authority so it can be addressed properly

I had took my grandparents here to get the 8.99 dinner deal. for each of us. When we where ordering the woman at the counter had not explained what the sides had to be nor what the drinks had to be. So when we decided our drinks and sides the order came up to 41.00 it took excessive questioning to understand it's only for small coffees or quenches. and a select few items for the side. eventually we got our 28.00 deal. Unfortunately we will not dine here again in regard to this experience We will not recommend this location to eat if you want fast food

I had a breakfast wrap. It was tasty but the sauce ended up ,more on the bottom, then throughout the wrap. But overall pretty good!!

Managers actually know their customers. Friendly managers who greet customers with enthusiasm. They're pretty much short-staffed every day and they try their very best in accommodating to all customers. I've seen some customers who are pretty rude to them or take things with them for granted. This is a small chain store with limited number of staff, unlike the one in Main St., just bear with them with your orders. They take delivery, in-store, and online orders - so they are spread very thin. I've never had a bad encounter with those who serve me at this location. I think the busy hours chart on Google reflects the correct information that shows you when exactly they're at most capacity. It gets busier at summers with tourists traveling through.

I have ordered Chicken breakfast wrap and he gave me Sausage Bacon Wrap. I am aware that mistakes can happen. When I went to ask him to replace. The Crew names Krishna laughed and told he will replace it then. Then he went inside and laughing at his crew telling "It's chicken not sausage one". Check your order before eating if you are strictly vegan or only eats chicken.

Very disappointed. The chair tables were never cleaned, and the other part of the restaurant was always closed off for no reason. When I politely asked the staff to clean the dirty area, they were did not clean it properly. Poor service and unhygienic environment.

The staff was friendly and happy. The place was clean . Overall, great service.

Going into McDonald's the inside door closed on my food. They gave me three bandages. I mentioned to them they need to fix the door. Went on deaf ears

I’m sharing my experience from a recent visit to this DQ location—not to defame anyone, but simply to speak honestly as a loyal customer and former DQ employee who understands how things usually work. When I arrived, I was greeted by a staff member named Pooja (as indicated on my receipt). Unfortunately, the interaction didn’t feel very welcoming. Despite my sister and I approaching her politely and with a smile, she appeared to have an attitude right from the start. One of the items I wanted to order was a Small Pepsi Freeze using the DQ app reward. I explained that I prefer it unblended—as a float—since that’s how I’ve always received it in other locations like Princeton, Kamloops, and Kelowna. The staff at those stores have always understood that the Freeze and the Float differ slightly in preparation. However, when I politely requested the unblended version, Pooja told me the Float “probably” costs more, implying she couldn’t do it. I reminded her again before she rang it in, saying, “Just don’t blend it, please. Thank you.” At that point, she noticeably rolled her eyes, which my sister witnessed as well. Despite my request, the drink was blended. When I brought it up and reiterated that I had asked for it not to be blended, she insisted on the price difference again. I asked if we could check the price difference together, and again she rolled her eyes. As it turned out, the Float was actually less expensive than the Freeze, confirming what I had said earlier. When I asked if she could please make the Float instead, her response was, “Well, I can’t give it to you because I just made you one.” Even though what she made was not what I had asked for. I also ordered a Chicken Strip Basket, and I was disappointed with that as well. The chicken strips were really small and thin, and they weren’t even hot when I got them. For the price, I expected better quality and temperature. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, but customer service is about treating people with respect regardless of personal circumstances. Rolling eyes, dismissing polite requests, and refusing to correct an order isn’t acceptable behavior. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve the customer experience at this location.

Forgot part of our order and then argued with us about it even though we told them we would pay for it since they did not add it on the original bill. They were not friendly, they were very abrupt and argumentative for no reason. They also did not explain the extra choices for kids meals which cost us more money and they delivered all the ice cream dishes before the food although we asked for them later and verified it was printed on the receipt as such. Not a great experience, wanted to enjoy a treat out with the family not to be treated in a confrontational manner by the staff.

The food was great, cooked perfectly. The staff at the drive thru wasn't very friendly, didn't seem to like answering any questions about the deals and seemed annoyed when we asked for a few condiments.

Not sure what happened to this location, but staff working here seems to like socializing more among each other than actually serving to customers. Group went all outside because friends showed up and customers were left waiting to order. Place needed to be cleaned and wiped down. Only one person was left doing this while everyone else seemed like working was not on their list to do. Sadly will not be coming back here till it gets better service.

The quality just isn't there especially their cakes. You can tell they are trying to save money on the ingredients. The icing and the whip cream are half of what you would get elsewhere so much so the gel icing almost looks opaque. I love DQ cakes but won't buy them from here. We will drive to another town if we want one.

Four of us went in for lunch. Ordered, paid and waited 45 minutes… nothing. Had to go to counter twice while they looked for our orders. Others came in, ate and left. Finally after two employees asked if we got our food and when we said no we are still waiting, they grudgingly brought it out. We asked what happened, we were told the orders were just lost and server just shrugged and walked away. Had to go to counter again to ask for the sundaes we ordered. Before leaving we stopped at counter to ask for a coupon or something , (even an acknowledgement of their mistake,) to make up for bad service. We were told that they couldn’t afford to be giving out coupons, but finally pushed two sundae coupons across the counter at us. Won’t be back.

Had a small hiccup with one of the icecream cakes. Was able to bring a slice in, share our experience with the Assistant Manager and he was understanding as was able to help us. Great customer service, will not hesitate to go back in the future 👍🏼

Great little place. Manages to avoid appearing too corporate, well decorated with local art and plants. Service wasn't super fast, but also wasn't unreasonable for the amount of staff and complexity of the drinks. The staff themselves were friendly and efficient.

Very hustling and busslin’ shop. Great atmosphere , nice staff. Cool place to go and chat with someone over a good cup of coffee

Ordered a pumpkin spice and it was really horrible and not drinkable. VERY chemical tasting. My friends also sipped mine and said the same thing. I took it back, and ordered a regular brew. I was only refunded the difference between the 2, and really think I should have had a FULL refund plus a free one. That, for me, would have been appreciated and good customer service. Food is way too pricey there also in my opinion.

Disappointed about Blenz! I'm from Vancouver I just arrived at Pendicton. I needed tea and snack, And washroom. Out of washroom at Blenz I'm a post stroke patient who is able to manage 85% bladder function. I put what I ordered tea & cake on the table, and cross street to the Royal bank. And I had a chance to use the washroom. BLENZ LADY DOESN'T KNOW THE PUBLIC WASHROOM LOCATION AT ALL. And during my cafe time, the all of staffs were talking about what i did. I ordered, asked twice the location and was out for washroom to the Royal bank. WHY? IS IT VERY STRANGE & ASTONISHING EVENT FOR FIGURING WASHROOM ISSUES OUT STROKE PATIENT SELF? It's a unusual situation, I understand but they must improve customer service attitude. Not girl talking loudly on the working field.

I like the brewed coffee. I find the specialty drinks aren't that great especially for the price. Service is great and I really like that they sell Gratifys based goods and bowls here.
