Absolute gem. I was a bit disappointed when my group chose to eat here instead of venturing into Cave Creek but the Spanish southwestern ambiance and delicious and elevated dishes were lovely to look at and lovelier to eat. The calamari was some of the best ive ever had due to the picked sweet pea tomatoes sprinkled on top and my perfect accompaniment; spicy aoli. The summer salad with goat cheese and strawberries was fresh, bright, and delicious. The schnitzel (apparently a 10 year favorite and menu staple) and red cabbage with neon butter caper sauce was delivious and elevated and executed very well. If there was any downside, its that their price reflects their quality.

Homey feel inside and a nice outdoors seating in back. Food is good with their own take of upscale tastes of a western flare. Sometime too much spice. I had scallops that were served with a sweet potato mash with a Chipotle drizzle. Brussel Sprouts and fingerling potatoes all in the spicy potatoes mash. Too much heat.

Located in Hilton Vacation Club Rancho Manana Phoenix, Cave Creek. We have a table outside, and a backyard is a golf course. Our server was polite and pleasant. We're a total of four of us, Lunch Special Tacos, 2 of Shrimp Terra Cotta, Pork Osso Bucco, Four-Seed Baguette, and drinks. The taste was good. My taco was full of fresh vegetables, and the pork was tender. It was a little expensive for lunch, but it was a cozy place.

The food was great, and the view was incredible! The service wasn't amazing at first but after a few tables cleared the waitress became much friendlier! Overall a great night!

BFF and I celebrated her birthday at Tonto Bar & Grill mid afternoon/mid week outside patio... Beautiful view, calm receptive service, and environment with Rose, named aptly, providing superior service. Recommending dishes on the menu, (which have remained patron favs for over 30 years) proved to be stellar selections. Recommending the nonalcoholic drinks paired with fish, yummy, wallaby, and more! Added to the fish plates, a light sauce, and sautéed vegies. Surprise, Birthday mini cake! Yes, we will visit again! Thank you, Rose 🌹.

One and done Never going back The menu on line is not the actual menu for lunch Signage is bad could not find the place at first and parking is very tight width wise. The building is old and desperately needs updating. The Air conditioning does not cool off the dining area enough and the units are on the roof and vibrate and shake the tables. The food is decent but way over priced and not much food on the plate. Had $46.00 halibut there was nothing else on the plate except the tiniest 3 tomatoes I've ever seen. It's a rather dark and depressing atmosphere needs a major face lift. Obviously they don't put money back into the property it's a very old tired building. Service was good but not enough to ever want to go back

Overall a great experience and good food. However, going with 4-stars because it was a little pricey for the portions. We started with the Three Sisters Salsa & Guac. Very good! We really enjoyed the variety of flavors and chips. We also tried a few mocktails. Both were delicious but the Rhubarb Citrus Soda was a favorite. For my main meal, I went with a Caesar Salad w/Tenderloin. It was good but lacking in the tenderloin area for how much extra it was. Oh well! I still enjoyed the meal. Service was great too! Don't want to forget that. If you visit, I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Super cool old gas station turned dinner. Pretty fairly priced, a good typically burger. The Cajun fries are very good! Would definitely recommend the milkshakes and malts. They have plenty of covered seating with misters in the summer time. Check out there candy store right next door

I live out of state, but every time I visit the Phoenix area, I make it a point to eat here. I've had many different items from the menu and all have been delicious and cooked to perfection. Also, the boozy milkshakes are out of this world. The prices are good, the staff are always friendly and I love the retro, laid back vibe. Earl's is an absolute gem, and I hope they have MANY more years of success.

Very cool old school 50's gas station layout with outstanding burgers. Super crispy fries with house made Ranch to top them off. Lisa was great and told me about the family candy store next door. Super nostalgic place with a great selection of candy. Drive on Past those corporate restaurants and head to Cave Creek for a very good family dining experience.

I love getting to stop by Big Earl's when I visit Arizona! Their food is very good and it's a fun place to hang out. The peanut butter milkshake is definitely one of the best parts of coming here. The staff is also very nice! I definitely recommend eating here, and if you do definitely get a milkshake, it will make your day!!

Landed upon Big Earl’s from my wife scrolling TikTok. Thank goodness she did. From the moment we walked in we knew we in the right place. We are west siders(Peoria) always looking for the non-chain spots to eat. I had the gut buster and the misses had the black and bleu, cheese curds on the side. No kidding the burgers are huge and delicious. Cooked to order and doneness. We headed to the candy shop to pick up some vintage sweets and a shirt. To sum it up, it’s great. Eat there. Support locals.

Big Earl's is definitely one of the best in Cave Creek! Not only is the staff very friendly and nice, but the food is great! Give their Pickle Chicken sandwich a try!

I went with a group of friends to have dinner on a Wednesday evening, there were 10 of us so we made a reservation. When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. And then it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server was very nice, but when she brought our appetizers (we ordered 2 of the fundido sauce and chips), she failed to bring any appetizer plates out for us. Someone eventually asked and she brought them. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and while they were good, they were nothing special for me. Though two people ordered the pollo fundido and raved about it. Most entre items seemed to range in price from $18-$23 The atmosphere was the best part of the evening. The outdoor seating by the pond with the ducks and turtles and lush surroundings is unique and fun (though noisy as well). There are large outdoor ceiling fans for the warm evenings. Love the ambience at this restaurant.

Had the most wonderful lunch here with family yesterday. It was such a warm and inviting, cheerful place. Our waitress (so sorry I can’t remember her name but we were a table of 6 sat at a window by the turtle pond around 2 pm on 7/14/25!) was lovely! So nice and friendly and chatty with us. The food was SO good. We are from Nj and get to see this part of our family, who lives locally, once a year if we are lucky. Our experience at El Encanto made us forget all about the fact we were on our way to the airport! We were not rushed, it was just a happy, leisurely, joyful meal. Truly a unique and special place.

Great place to eat and enjoy the views of turtles swimming and laying out in the sun either from the patio or inside. Service was great. Food was amazing. Salsa very fresh and yummy.

Visited El Encanto Mexican restaurant, while in Arizona. The restaurant was nicely decorated, appeared clean, had a pond view. The food and service were ok. The tamales were dry and lacked flavor. One of the tamales was sweet. Did not like at all, but that's my preference as I prefer savory. The Ceviche was also dry, did not have sauce, the steak tacos were good and flavorful. The guacamole was good but needed more lime and salt. The service was mediocre, waiter was not attentive, expected better service. Try it, may be better service. Not sure if I would return.

Top tier service, food, drinks, & experience! Our server was on point! The server took care of 30 witches on her own! Our order was quick, food came out quick, & no waiting on or paying our bills! Literally this chick/server must be one of their best if not the best! This restaurant should be on EVERYONEs go to, if in Cave Creek!

I was here mid-afternoon on a Friday. Service was meh until she was done cashing out, and the new crew came in, but I was leaving by then. Instead of asking if I'd like another drink, it was more of a priority to check messages, and that was right in front of me. She had already checked out, although she hadn't punched out. Go somewhere else if you're going to completely ignore me, texting. I sat at the bar, and she was right there in front of me, facing the other way. I waited awhile while she took care of the patrons on each side of me, but wasn't too interested in helping me. They were obviously regulars, but to skip me while I'm sitting right in the middle, no extra chairs, was bad service, It took awhile just to be acknowledged and it took so long to ask if I wanted to order food that I decided to just do an appetizer as I'm sure both would've come out at the same time if I also ordered an entree. It was the end of her shift, and I really got the end of the shift service. Once she was gone I was able to get a drink refill and was treated like I was there. Go take a look at my picture, Am I so hideous that I don't deserve good service? If so, put a sign at the front, "Ugly people will be served, but only after all the beautiful people. Sincerely, Mgmt." I only had the potato skins. The potato part was great with no raw potato, but they could've dispersed the toppings evenly and a little more generously. You can tell where they started to put the toppings on and which one was last. Would you make a pizza by putting all the toppings in the center and not evenly distribute said toppings? An extra 10 seconds of effort would've made them perfect Since I had so much time to myself and was right in front of the margarita handle, I noticed that the handle is absolutely filthy. More than a few shifts worth of dirt buildup. Could've cleaned that up in the amount of time it takes to... send a text. I'll go back. It's not my first time there but it's the first time I've sat at the bar alone. I've left a positive review on my other account which was 5 stars. It was a great place every other time. This time, though, the service was insulting, to say the least, and the handle was nasty. It leaves one to wonder that things out of sight might even be worse? There's no excuse for a dirty handle, especially if there's time to text. I'm writing this hoping that it is t aken seriously and other customers aren't treated like this as I'm sure it's a rare event. You have a great place, and the service energy should match that, even if it's during a shift change. No steps of service were followed. No welcome, no intro, no suggestions, no interaction, no "thank you", just a long wait. Until we meet again.

We didn’t eat there this time, but we’ve eaten there plenty of times in the past and it has always been fabulous. So fun, the food is great drinks are good but usually the music is the entertainment and that’s why I love this place. they have awesome local bands and Their House band is fantastic. Today we had a great experience with the band called last train to Juarez. We really enjoyed our day. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Theres no better place to experience the Steelers outside of 3 rivers stadium. Have a Ben Roethlis-buger medium rare and enjoy all the friendly people and great staff. Be ready to be huggged and high fived by perfect strangers when the Steelers score. Sing along with the polka fight songs. Have a blast.

Me and my friend and his mom were there for the concert for rodney adkins. We came in to eat hours before the show started. We brought some drinks in we intended to have after we ate while we waited in line to get in but once we sat down some lady came and confiscated them. I felt like I was 3 being scolded by my mom. Like we are not allowed to have water. We hadn't even pulled them out when we sat down. They were only intended to be consumed when we left to wait in line. But I guess that wasnt allowed. I must have missed that on the rules and regulations page. The food was ok for bar food. The event wasnt organized no one knew where to go to line up to get in for the show. We had to walk around the building cause we didn't know where we were supposed to line up. They had 2 lines which people had no idea where they were supposed to stand. Again poor planning and poor communication. But once they had people get through the vip line they ended up merging them into the ga line which was stupid and defeated the purpose of having 2 lines. That was just crazy to have people cut into another line in front of other people. Once we got in they has sections off for vip which ok great. But the security allowed people to stand in front of the entrance to that area which was difficult for wait staff to get in and out of there. If your gonna have wait staff bringing food and drinks through there then you need to have an entrance thats not allowed to be blocked off by patrons. It was poorly executed and planned out. I have been to many events and concerts and this was the worst way to execute a show. I definitely wont come back here not to eat or for a concert. Next time you should be informing staff and making signs showing where people are supposed to go for the concert separately from the restaurant/ bar. It helps w the confusion when asking staff where we are supposed to go.

Atmosphere was great. Place was exactly as advertised. Food was decent, BBQ was the best thing on the menu in my opinion. Dancing was fun, and the coach (I wish I could remember his name) was great. This is not a negative in my opinion. The only thing I would say that I was not expecting is how loud it was. Our party was two tables and we could not hear anyone further than two chairs away (we were yelling). Again, not a negative. It was fun. Considering how big and crowded the place was I thought the service was good. Bathrooms were....see previous comment. Thanks!

Well butter my biscuits and call me a cowboy, Harold's Cave Creek Corral is the real deal! From the moment I moseyed on in, I knew I was in for a good ol' time. The ambiance is so authentically Western, I half-expected a tumbleweed to roll past my table (it didn't, but a friendly server did, which was even better!). The food? Let me tell ya, it was tastier than a gold strike! I reckon my tastebuds did a little jig with every bite. And the folks there, both staff and fellow patrons, were friendlier than a Golden Retriever with a new tennis ball. It felt like walking into a saloon where everybody knows your name, even if they've never seen your dusty boots before. The decor is a hoot – I spent a good while just admiring all the bits and bobs that give it that true cowboy charm. And the live music? It had my toes tappin' and my spurs (if I'd been wearing any) jinglin'. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to shout "Yeehaw!" even if you're usually the quiet type. If you're looking for a genuine slice of the Wild West with great grub, toe-tappin' tunes, and a vibe that'll make you feel like you've stepped onto a movie set (but with much better food), then saddle up and head to Harold's. You won't regret it, partner! This place is a true Cave Creek gem. Five stars brighter than a desert night sky!

Saw the place on Fox 10 news and tried them out for breakfast. Ordered a breakfast burrito and it was the best burrito I've had in a long time. Service was great. Staff very friendly. Will go back again for lunch and dinner. Will recommend to all.my friends.

Had a great time in the VIP area. Lucky to have that spot because the rest of the place was so crowded. We had all you can eat buffet and a private bar. Service was great up there. Rodeo was fun. Bathroom situation needs improved. One bathroom for hundreds of drinking patrons. Lines were insane. Otherwise we had a great time.

Fun place, very rustic. VIP seats are expensive, and we were initially given a table with restricted views so we could only see half the arena. We had to move to the arena seats for the first part of the show to be able to see properly. We were then offered another table with a better view as a party did not show. Food was good BBQ buffet style, but got cold quickly. Would have been nice to have a sweet dessert like a bit of apple pie or a brownie to help justify the $65 charge. They then over charged us by not deducting the full deposit we paid from the final bill. They did resolve this very quickly.

We had such a fun 1st time. Love the atmosphere. Our waiterres was amazing. I hate leaving a bad review...but, the fish fry was horrible. The walleye and cod was super old and cold. And I got a fish bone logged in my throat. And the skin left on it, isn't very tasty.

ALWAYS GREAT! We had prime rib on the Special with Salad and green beans which were cooked to perfection! 2 of us split the “Cowboy Cut” and still came home with leftovers! Harold’s has live music nightly and a variety of games, pool tables, bags and more! Note! Parking lot is dirt and may be uneven… so definitely no high heels!

My girlfriend and I came from out of town. We went here to get the “rodeo” experience and man did we have a time. The population was 95% white and the rest 5% black. But everyone was so kind. The food was amazing, I enjoyed the beef brisket, and the drinks were daily priced.

A couple of friends and I went to have a good time and this place did not disappoint! All the staff was incredible but one person stood out to us for being such a gentleman at every turn, Gadget. He was so kind and made sure that we were always safe and had everything that we could possibly need. When our night came to a close, one of our friends wondered away from the group and Gadget helped us locate her and made sure we all safely left together. I will absolutely be coming back and bringing many more friends!

After spending a few hours hiking we were starving and in the look out for some where local that was still serving breakfast but also lunch options for the half of us that preferred lunch. We stumbled across Local Jonny’s and the vibe felt right. The parking lot looks small from the front, but there is a good size lot in the back for more space . They offer both inside and outside seating which is a plus. Upon entering there was a sign directing us to a hostess station to dine in. There are two different doors so depending where you come in you may end up at the coffee counter. Right away I was pleased to see they offer Firecreek Coffee which I love and is local to Arizona. It’s a must stop when in Sedona etc. We were greeted pretty quick and taken to our table. It took quite a while for a server to take our drink order or greet us, but we weren’t in too much of a hurry. Once we had our drinks our server disappeared again and we sat and sat. Once she arrived she did apologize at which point we were starving so we hurried and ordered. Our table ordered biscuits and gravy, BLT, eggs bacon and toast and another side of biscuits and gravy with extra sausage on the side. Our food came out fairly quick and was plated well. My eggs were a little overcooked, but ok. My daughter enjoyed her biscuits and gravy and the BLT had a good amount of bacon. It was crispy and delicious. My latte was made perfect as well as the chais my daughter and niece ordered. All in all it was a good stop. The biggest complaint was the service being pretty MIA through out our visit. Although that stinks I also got the vibe that this was a laid back no hurry kinda place. Either way we left full and happy. If you’re impatient you may be less happy.

Our favorite! We love Local Johnny’s. We just finished breakfast for four plus our dog, and we were very comfortable on the outdoor patio with the misters going, even with the July heat! The service is incredible and we loved having Joey as our server - her energy and attentiveness made our breakfast so lovely. Can’t wait to come back!

I had the best experience this morning. I was greeted by the biggest beautiful smile and warmest welcome by Joey when I walked in. Then Natalie, the barista, was incredibly sweet and helped me with my order. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so she made the perfect suggestion of an Iced Vanilla Honey Latte that was perfection. I also ordered a Cobb Salad to go that came out with a beautiful presentation and tasted amazing! I have to give all of the staff a 10/10 for making my day today! Thank you LJ’s family for consistently being amazing and for the delicious food.

Honestly, food and service were great - nice, friendly, and kind people and great tasting food too - but I can’t stand behind a company who thinks it’s okay to have unisex bathrooms, with two stalls, allowing male and females in the same bathroom at the same time. Although the sign does say “lock door for privacy” that doesn’t help the situation at all. People have young kids who are responsible enough to take themselves to the bathroom at restaurants but now they have to be treated like little kids again everywhere they go to make sure there are no predators in the bathroom when they go because places like this that have unisex bathrooms. It’s a disgusting and disgraceful thing to have in an establishment and I cannot rate this place higher than a one star because of it. We will not be coming back and definitely recommending people to avoid going here.

Great experience, the waiter had a great sense of humor and the food was excellent. I ordered the fish tacos and they tasted just like fish which is a great thing. If you would happen to order fish and it tastes like something else that could be bad. But that isn't the case at Local Jonny's. We sat outside and there were a few javelinas that walked on the street past which we didn't eat probably due to the fact they were still alive and maybe they don't even taste that great. But this place is a good place to eat. Some of the others had a burger which was great, and someone got the nachos with chicken and they are good too. Last but not least but someone got the chicken quesadilla.

This place is amazing. Awesome customer service. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. Our food was good and hot. Enclosed are some pictures. I would definitely come back again.

localjonnys is another Cave Creek staple. Go for coffee, go for dinner, go for live music. It's small enough to be a cozy hang and large enough for group events. The owners are progressive members of the community and have hosted many great events. There is something to do almost every night. Grab a table, sit out front watching locals come and go, belly up to the bar, or head out back to listen to local musicians. I love feeling like a local here as it has become the perfect spot for our book club clubhouse. I enjoy running into familiar faces often when I visit, and I've watched a friend play open at mic night. This has an old west, casual feel - we loved all the inside and outside signs and decor that add to the ambience. We had a great server, who was very attentive. Food was ok, we tried the sampler appetizer, the fish n chips (cod and French fries), the ribs, and the taco salad. It was good, just nothing special. There was live music, which sounded really great, but we were with a couple we wanted to visit with and didn’t want to compete with the music. They had options to sit with the live music area or in a separate dining room, great to have options!

Gordon Ramsey just lost a star to the Horny Toad. Sorry Gordo but this place serves up home cooking that would send the most refined chef back to the kitchen with that “why can’t I” look on his face. A 30 minute Harley ride outside of Scottsdale you’ll find this gem in a beautiful little eclectic western themed town. Get an iced tea or cold beer, you’ll need it so close to the sun. When the waitress walks up just say it. I’ll have the fried chicken and yes please to all the sides. If God himself showed up tomorrow and asked for a fried chicken dinner I’d put him on a Harley and bring him straight here. Eat well my friends!!

I wasn’t prepared for this review when I’m usually ready. Everything was awesome. From service, to food, to atmosphere. We attended bike week and I got their house burger, the horny toad. It was awesome. There’s brisket, bacon, cheese and fried onions on it. It didn’t even need a sauce. Wherever they get their fires from is fire. 10/10 would go again.

And a shout out to Lily and Evie I grew up in the Ohio River Valley [O, Daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County] the High Temple of Midwest barbecue and I have to say that I was very impressed with the chicken, ribs and brisket that my friends and I had this past Sunday. My friend and I wanted to go to the Horny Toad for lunch..... We did not realize we were smack in the middle of bike week. Bike week? What is bike week? 🤣🤣🤣 All in all it was a pretty decent experience. It's a super cute venue, and there were tons and tons of bikers there having a grand old time. We were offered shots of free whiskey numerous times... I only took one photo coming in. I just love Cave Creek, and the Horny Toad does not disappoint!

The Horny Toad was close by so I grabbed some Fried Chicken to go. Phenomenal Fried Chicken. Would definitely return. The coleslaw was also delicious.

I had the best nachos I have ever eaten there tonight. I have been going to this restaurant since 1976, and it keeps getting better all the time, though that does not seem possible. The history of the building is sort of crazy, and it shows, but the kitchen is always right on.

Everyone had the pizza. Our order took 40 minutes to arrive, but that was fine with us. If you order the thin crust, be prepared to enjoy a very thin, crispy, and crunchy crust.

Best pizza in the world! If you haven’t been here you must go. I’m sorry it took us so long to find this gem. Other patrons were raving about the Italian dishes they serve and we can’t wait to go back and try them. We had the combo pizza on the most delicious pizza crust I’ve ever had ( and that means a lot coming from me as a Sicilian and whose father in law owned a pizza franchise in chicago) You must try this restaurant and the owner Christina is the sweetest person and so accommodating for her customers. The bartender Patrick is pretty amazing too! Enjoy - mangiare!

This place is great…. The staff is wonderful. We just returned from a dinner in Katie and Shannan were fantastic. Service is good friendship is good and most importantly the food was excellent.

We love Brugos. They take their time making specialty pizza. We love to have a family dinner there and play cards while we munch on starters. Perfect family dinner with no phones and time together!

We had an incredible experience. Authentic Sicilian food. The appetizers are tremendously good. Don’t miss out on the meatballs. They are the best in the valley. Also, consider the zucchini and the rigatoni with sausage. The pizzas are superb. Happy hour is a great place for it. Look forward to coming back again. The owner is devoted to her business and truly cares about the customers.

From the excellent waitstaff (Shannon and Patrick) to the most delicious authentic Italian cuisine- Brugos never fails to impress! Try the chicken parm and the Italian margarita ! (The taco pizza is also amazing )

This place is a local favorite of ours. And the only place to get chorizo on your pizza in the area. They have good drinks and the picky kid loves it!

When you walk in you are immediately greeted by the smell of brisket in this cute and rustic restaurant. It’s a very no thrills BBQ with a small menu and cafeteria style service. The ribs were the best part of the meal as they were tender and flavorful. The coleslaw was a little bland and definitely needed a lot of salt and pepper added. The beans were okay but the fries were crispy and warm. If you are craving tender and juicy BBQ this is a good spot but the sides need some work.

The BBQ was very good, the sauce was a bit too vinegary. The brisket chili was good, a bit watery and a bit of a kick too. All the sauce had a subtle kick that creeps up on you. The fries are very good as well, however, the seasoning can be a bit too strong at times. Overall very good BBQ. Large portions and a fully loaded coke freestyle machine.

Food was decent. Nothing fancy. The brisket that my family got was really fatty. I got the baked potato with brisket and paid $14.76!! That's crazy! Bbq sauce was just ok. I didn't understand or appreciate being asked how much gratuity we would like to add to our bills. You walk up to the window to order your own food, pick up your own food at another window, you get your own drink and refills and you clean up after yourself. Why would I tip? We won't be going back.

It looked really good but the sauce and the beans were kinda bland and not sweet at all. The brisket was cooked perfect and very tender. The baked potato salad was good too. Their coleslaw is made with olives so I didn't like it but others in my party said it was delicious.

Love, love this place. Bryan's remains my favorite bar-b-que in the state and my go to order is their pulled pork sandwich with the potato salad. The hot BBQ sauce it the bomb as is the entire experience of heading North to Cave Creek to their restaurant. My wife loves their heirloom tomato sandwich that is a summer seasonal treat. It is awesome but I come for the BBQ. Thanks Bryan...you never disappoint!!

I gave Brian's BBQ three stars due to the inconsistency. I've had really good and not so good BBQ from there. They have several different options of meat and the brisket and pork is what seems to be hit and miss. The have great BBQ sauce and some good sides. It's a little pricey but BBQ usually is. One regular meal with a beer and two kids chicken sandwich with fries $45

This is our second time eating here,and is just as good as our first. The brisket hash was a recommendation and it was outstanding.. The stuffed baked potato was great, we had the pork meat on it. They know how to do bbq. Tasty!

Lovely place with good food, courteous staff, and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a meal. It also offers a naturalistic ambience, adding to the experience. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area or visiting the Jewel of the Creek hiking trail.

This is still a nice place to sit outside and enjoy food and drinks. It’s quite popular so sometimes parking and seating can be an issue. This time we stopped by for lunch. We had 2 salads, the Monterey with chicken and the Cobb. Both salads were nicely prepared and reasonably sized. But the chicken on each of them was surprisingly tough considering the pieces were diced. There are many other choices that are excellent, both for lunch and breakfast. The patio is dog friendly. And the service was great.

This place is a gem!! My second time here. I moved to the Valley a few months ago and I have taken my friends when exploring Cave Creek. Best sweet potato fries EVER.

Food is incredible. My favorite is the Bacon Grilled Cheese Panini. But really anything from the smoothies to the Salads are top notch. The outdoor patio is a great place enjoy your meal and I highly recommend this place.

Delicious! One person's food in our party came out kind of late compared to everyone else's. Probably because the service is a lot like Culver's. You order, get a number, and take your drink and number and find a place to sit. They find you once your food is ready. Nice atmosphere. Was easy to visit even with the music.

Such a fun & cool place! The perfect bowl of oatmeal & cup of coffee with a grotto view! We also tried their muffins the next day. They are huge & look amazing but are dense & almost more scone like with not a lot of flavor. I wouldn't recommend those but everything else was great!

My go-to spot for gluten-free crepes! They've got sweet, savory, breakfast and dessert crepes. The coffee is great too!

I stopped by this coffee shop && wow it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken, bacon & avocado crêpe and let me tell you… it was so good I didn’t even stop to take a picture. The flavor was on point and the crepes texture was perfection! 🥑✨ The vibes were cozy, the coffee paired perfectly, and overall it’s definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re craving something fresh, delicious, and satisfying. My mom and I are in town for a few days and a friend recommended us trying the crepes, stating they are the best! We made the drive over, both ordered crepes, and they were delicious! The space is adorable, clean and friendly! That had a nice selection of crepes, pastries and coffee! We will definitely be back! Both the owner and her employee were extremely friendly!!

A short 45 minute drive from downtown Phoenix, nestled within the Stagecoach Village plaza in Cave Creek, The Village Coffee Shop has the best crepes in the valley. The coffee is locally roasted (Roastery of Cave Creek -ROC²) and on par with top coffee shops and everything is reasonably priced for the quality you get. The menu is quite large and caters to every taste bud with 22 sweet and 14 savory crepe options. The decor is comfy and Parisian inspired with a chandelier, colorful murals, and Audrey Hepburn photos as you're serenaded by artists like Norah Jones. It's a nice little culinary experience and quick escape from the bustle. Go treat yourself! You won't regret it.

Excellent crepes, sweet 🍓, savory so many to choose from can’t go wrong with either. My favorite is the lemon curd with ever kind of berry you can think of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and fresh filling of heavenly lemon curd 🤤. Another favorite is the club it has bacon 🥓 chicken, tomato 🍅 lettuce 🥬 mozzarella cheese 🧀. My favorite is the chai ☕️ latte either vanilla or spiced. He is in love 💗with the strawberry berrioska cocktail 🍹 Don’t take my word for it just try it!

It's definitely worth coming to check out! The inside is very cool and looks like a true western saloon. Nice size outdoor patio with shade as well. The food was good! Would absolutely recommend the Miss Kitty Chicken Sandwich w/ the Prickly Pear Cactus nectar. Delicious! Portions were good sizes, too. Overall, the menu looked really good! Ordered their Prickly Pear Margherita, and it was fine. Small compared to other places but tasted great. If you're in or coming to Cave Creek, you can't go wrong with Stumblina's!

My family and I decided to go to stumblina’s because it was the only place open in the area but it ended up being really good! We started with the bbq sliders and the fried pickles which were both fantastic, and the Shirley temple I ordered was made amazingly. And for the entree I decided to go for the pork tacos which were also great and tasted high quality. Our server mike was extremely friendly and helpful and helped us decide what to get for appetizers and entrees. Overall Stumblina’s was an amazing restaurant and I will definitely return in the future.

Quaint little bar style cantina nestled in cave creek mountains with the small town feel. We enjoyed the food. Each dish we had was tasty. Nothing was a standout favorite. I would bring company here for the novelty, but not a place I would frequent for cravings. Try this place, you wont be disappointed

Stopped in for a drink with my Husband. Absolutely loved the inside of this place. The bartender and staffed were so sweet and made the visit enjoyable.

Well.. we were looking for a restaurant we have not been to before in Cave Creek and "Stumbled" into Stumblina's. A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming . Our server Sydney greeted us with a smile and was pleasant and fun. She was great. We landed on a Tuesday and took advantage of the Taco Tuesday special for $10 (3 giant tacos) and $5.00 Margherita were fantastic. We highly recommend this eating establishment.

Wasn’t planning on eating here but a friend was hungry so we figured why not. I was in shock when I saw it had 4.2 stars after eating the food! Every thing we ordered was great and the old fashion I had was on another level!! Our server was Elizabeth who was amazing! She was so accommodating for my best friends autistic son and she never missed a beat, always had a full drink even though I never got it below 3/4 empty. Thank you Elizabeth for making our experience unforgettable!

The food is extremely good along with excellent service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bar drinks are quit weak, such as both their specialty drinks and Margaritas taste like lemonade. I'm by no means a heavy drinker although did have 3 drinks that evening and never even experienced a buzz! For me not being much of a drinker that was highly unusual. I should have mentioned this to the server although she was so nice and kind I didn't want to cause any issues or disrespect.

We head here once a month or so for lunch. We typically order their $7 chicken combo with 3 chicken pieces, fries, a drink and a sundae. We’ve always had good luck with this. The staff is friendly and most of the time the food is piping hot. We both think the DQ French fries are by far the best fast food fries. And of course we occasionally stop by for a Blizzard. So what’s not to like?

Very quaint and convenient local restaurant that had a far more amicable spirit than most fast food located in the center of downtown. Up until very recently it used to run immaculately but now some peculiar perturbation has overcome it and now it runs supremely slowly and in the approximately dozen times I have frequented this summer they have forgotten orders. Hopefully they resolve these prevalent issues soon

The app wasn’t working, and I was told I could use the receipt for points. However, the receipt contained no information enabling points to be added to the app account. DQ was out of chocolate soft serve, but we were not informed until all our chocolate requests were vanilla. I'm disappointed.

Dairy Queen What is your name I asked, James it was. I just have to say some great stuff about him!, and later on, I met Jo and she was fabulous as well. James gave me a lid because I want to give my puppy a little icecream and she loved it. What I noticed about James that when he was waiting on customers, he took the initiative to stay busy. I watched him go outside to clean windows. They really took pride working there as the place was very well groomed. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Came to grab some fried cheese curds. They shockingly do not exist in Canada which is an atrocity. They were perfectly crispy and satisfying. So was the sauce. We went in to order and came out shortly after. Ample parking. Wasn’t busy at all.

This location used to be great, now the service is slow and I the the quality of food is sloppy (smushed, messy burgers). I just spent almost $5 on a large fry to get home and find it was only half full.

Won't be eating at this McDonald's again. When I bit into my burger, I felt something odd. As I removed the food from my mouth, I was shocked to find a sticker that was stuck inside the bun. Come on McDonalds do a better job of making sure things are good before you hand your customers their food!

If you like legit, New York style pizza with zero flop, this place is for you. I am a big fan of very hot pizza and also a crust that is firm that does not flop at all and Ray's fits the bill perfectly here. They sell by the pie and by the slice and have a very doable lunch special.

I’ve never had authentic New York style pizza from the big Apple state, but I imagine this is as close as you’re gonna get. Crispy crust with a lightly applied sauce is the way to go for any pizza. The wings are delicious and you have to try their Sicilian pizza. The staff here are always nice and the restaurant is nice and clean with plenty of seating.

I enjoy a quality pizza, and these folks do it right. Everything from the thickness of the crust, the flavor of the sauce, and the quality of the toppings, all cooked to perfection.

Starving family with 2 young kids - Dinner time. Great up front made our 3 11 inch pizzas. Put j. Rack ready to go in oven. And then they sit in the rack for 30-40 minutes. We ask what's going on we cooking pizzas tonight ? As we could see the oven was empty. nice young man said sorry we have mixed up the pizzas that came out before so we are gathering ourselves slowing down the line to organize. Cool. - Now 45 minutes later the pizzas go in ( remember 11 inch fast food pizza). They put who knows how many in. And guess what when they come out they have no clue whose pizza is who's again. Pizza's get cold as they have no clue what to do. Pretty simple solution. We could have pointed to ours. A kid finally looks at me and says what's on your pizza. By this time the starting family is ravenous so I explain it he can't find the pizza. We are talking 3 stations here. 1. make pizza. 2 cook pizzas tonight. 3 take pizza out with giant stick and hand to customer. We were dining in. Nothing else to do. 1 hour later no pizzas I ask what's is going on guys. He says I'm the manager and I was pulled to this station and it's all a mess. Honestly he was the mess. The girl who made the now lobby full of guests knew who's pizza was who's she said it multiple times. Long story short. Another kid said we need to remake all your pizzas. By this time I'm in full fast mode and said we will pass we just donated 1 hour at a fast food pizza making biz and we are back to square 1. He then replied we are under new owners and they have messed up the system. Again 3 steps. Make, Cook, Hand to us. I'm not sure anyone could mess this up. But we witnessed it.Message to new owners or management. Get to your store. Work on it, train the staff, Friday night pizza place seems like a great night to be there. I think they gave at least 5 customers refunds and no pizzas. Poor kids, undertrained manager need help.

Compared to Blaze Mod is much better. I like that Mod has a good selection of toppings, and they aren't chintzy. However, their crust is tough/ flat. Worse than Domino's (which is the worst ).

Came in thursday night and was not the best, very cracker like crust, and kinda pricey. 2 younger blonde employees eating in the work area and not washing hands. Very gross and unappealing.

My first time in, after hearing all the great reviews. I really enjoyed it as a great spot to stop at on a Friday night when you're hungry and don't want to spend an hour and a half at a restaurant. You stand up at the counter and create your own pizza from all the topping selections for the pizzas which can be a little overwhelming, but the staff was extremely helpful and nice. They gave great advice and we ordered two pizzas with cheesy bread. Everyone was full and very happy with their meals. We will be back.

The manager Daniel quickly corrected a mistake one of his workers made with our order. It is great to not have to get into an argument with staff, and have them quickly find a solution. Great food too! Thx Daniel!

It took many “chances” For me to come to this rating .. but after last night - it was time . My family (of 4) walked into Mod Pizza around 6pm. There wasn’t a single other customer in the place - and 4 employees standing around . When we approached them to order - they were rude - awkward - and seemed totally inconvenienced by us even being there at all . The food was horrible . The salad lacked enough dressing . The produce was poor quality . The pizza lacked flavor . The teas and lemonade looked as though they needed to be freshened up after sitting all day. And to add to the fun experience - the staff kept shooting each other glances and giggling in the corner the ENTIRE TIME. I get it that these are young “adults” - but after dropping money there for that experience - we would rather go just about anywhere else. We live in Cavecreek and try to support our local businesses - and after many attempts at MOD off of carefree highway - we are choosing other Cavecreek pizzerias

I called and placed a order 2/3/25 at 9pm for one large pepperoni pizza and one small cheese pizza. The pizzas looked amazing, very appealing. The pizza was VERY GREASY. I smashed the entire small cheese pizza except two slices. It was pretty good pizza. I like Papa Johns.

My family and I got a pizza last nite and just wanted to take the time to acknowledge and thank the fine people here for their care and concern for their patrons. They must have taken a guess that someone in my family uses smokeless tobacco, and made the assumption that someone here would probably have a dip after eating and decided to save us some time and included it in our pizza. That level of thoughtfulness for their customers really shows! The only problem is that my 13y.o. son got the piece, and as he hates my actual tobacco use, he will never eat at any of this chain's locations for the rest of his life. He even stated "usually I like papa john's dips, but not that one". I am a Skoal long cut kinda guy and will never knowingly give money to a fine cut kinda place, the wife also hates smokeless tobacco and will never return to this chain. I only gave 1 stars due to the fine cut, maybe when people order they should be given the choice of tobacco in their pie. Keep up the good work folks, just give a "no tobacco" option. Almost forgot, when my wife called them about this, these good folks were so humble they didn't want any credit and tried giving it to the delivery service. Having worked in a pizza shop when I was young, I kinda have an eye and can tell this level of service gets baked in from the start.

I created an online order for a Large Pie with some Toppings, an 8-piece Lemon Pepper and an 8-piece Hot Wings with Blue Cheese. The system responded with a 12-minute ready time. I arrived in 20-minutes, however the door was locked with no sign of any life inside. I called the store, no less that 34-times with no answer and an automated sytem that took me in circles with no option to speak to a human being (because they did not pick up.) I drove accross the street to do some shopping as I continued to call, and someone finally picked up (45-minutes after i first arrived at the store.) I explained the issue, they did not seem to care and said they were open. I picked up my 53-minute old, cold order and realized the they screwed up some of the order when I arrived home. I did not receive my Lemon Pepper Wing (2-8-piece Hot Wings instead with Ranch instead of Blue Cheese.) The wings were not well done as requested, but I had to warm everything up anyway, so I simply recooked them in the oven. The Pizza seemed pleasant enough. Strange way to operate a business 🤔

We have ordered from this papa John’s location for 10 years. The last few months the pizza is very dark and dry. I called with my order today and requested it to not be cooked so long. The pizza arrived brown/dark and dried out again. I called and spoke with the GM who was very rude and than pretended he couldn’t hear me. He said hello, hello and then hung up on me. We will not be ordering from them again. Sad because they have always had very good pizza.

Customer Service was beyond excellent! Food was hot and so so so so so so delicious! Everything made to perfection. The employees were so nice! We usually order delivery up at my mom's so it was my first time in the store! Store was clean and following all safety guidelines. I am a member of a third party delivery service that Papa John's uses as well as a customer but only at this location. We'll start with the restaurant environment. From the first moment walking through the door you can tell that this location is well kept, sanitized, organized, and maintained with the highest of standards. Following that you are met with the utmost professional kind caring staff members that I've ever had the ability to interact with. The team members at this location clearly know their product and have a passion for what they do. Personally I've never been a fan of Papa John's Pizza however the staff members at this location convinced me otherwise. I have to say that this quality is truly a rare experience. I don't know how to explain that when you take quality staff members who have a passion towards what they do the level of quality that comes out in the food products truly makes a difference. I suggest this location to anyone and everyone I know. The passion that the staff at this location has for the quality of their service and product stands above all else. The only bad thing I have to say is that the staff is so efficient that you're in and out of this store too quickly when you'd rather stay longer because it truly feels like home!!

Food has been good. There is a worker named Devon and he was full of attitude. I Showed up at 10:10am and the restaurant was locked. Then I found out that I accidentally made an order to the wrong papa johns so I made a new order through Devon. I asked for the medium pizza for carry out. He made me say the coupon code so he could make his manager happy for some reason. Devon refused to take my friends order after. Insisted that the wait time is going to be 2 times as long because the ovens need to warm up. As im waiting, Devon starts accusing me of calling corporate on him. I didnt call corporate on Devon until everything was all said and done after this instance. Devon picks up the phone and tells me to leave and that he's calling the cops. I asked for a refund and he picks up the phone again. Tells me to leave. I dont know what he was on but after accusing me of calling corporate made me insecure on the quality of my pizza at that point and all I wanted was a refund. Devon eventually refunded the money to my card. Another piece of advice is dont tip until you receive service. I tipped Devon and that was the worst part. I have never ever had an experience like this in my whole life. Worst experience overall. My lunch time is valuable and Papa johns costed me my lunch and went all day with no lunch. THANKS PAPAJOHNS AND THANK YOU DEVON FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Appreciate this location being the only one in the Phoenix area with dairy free cheese! The impossible burger tastes far better here with the vegan cheese than any other location. Love the vegan milkshakes as well. Great service!

They used to sell frozen burgers but stopped some time ago so decided to take my wife and two kids to their Cave Creek location. We loved it so much we went back again within 2 weeks! If you love a good burger, you NEED to eat here! These burgers are amazing and I rank them up there in the best I have ever had. The place is small but the service is OUTSTANDING! Both times we were greeted with smiles, great service, and it was just a lot of fun. We ordered a Medium (Original) (1/3 lb.), Large (Kingburger) (1/2 lb.), XXXL (Triple Kingburger) (1.5 lb.), Skinny Fries, Fat Fries (stead fries), chili cheese fries. and a chicken sandwich! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS and we are a hard family to please! This place is a MUST Go destination! It's not a far drive from us but wherever you might be coming from, it's worth the trip!

Great local corner burger place. Burgers and fries are always delivered hot and fresh. The real reason for the review is the serice. I ask Steven the Manger for something way off the menu and he politely provided above and beyond. I like to call out folks who we catch doing something good and this is it. I am trying to counter what we see everyday on TV and the internet, one review at a time.

Maybe the best fast food burger there is. I like the original which for me is a big burger. The meat is fresh and of a higher quality than most places. Their turkey burger is also tasty. You can customize the burgers however you want. Staff is friendly and efficient.

I can't rate the food, because we didn’t eat there. A horrible boy. We can call him Xavier, watched us walk in and read the menu. He waited until we walked up to him to tell us they are closed. Now the times online say they are open until 9 (We walked in at 8:10.) There was another couple inside eating. He then said we could only order online. There is no drive through, so he could have taken our order in person. Anyone ordering online would still have to walk inside. Now, all of this is fine, but it was his poor customer service and general attitude that prompted this review. He went on to say,"We don't care about reviews." Well, maybe not, but Babbos got our 5 star rating for the night. Good night Xavier.

My wife and I went there for lunch on 7/29. The atmosphere was amazing...the food was perfect/delicious. The owner, Steve, was so nice and made sure we were happy. And that's even taking into account it was pretty packed there. Definitely a must go there!! One thing that really stuck out...some local kids are allowed to hang out in there and cool off on hot days. They are even provided their own reusable cups to get drinks with. Steve shows compassion to others, where other establishments won't. Big win in my book!!

I'd be lying if I said this place was good. An expensive burger and you gotta pay for every topping... At the end after you add all your toppings FIVE Guys is actually cheaper. There wasn't any customers there and it still took awhile to get our food. Food was decent however.
