The meal started with the appetizer and various dishes made from anko and ended with the anko nabe. we also added another mito local produce, natto tempura, just to try. The shop is filled with anko produce which you can but back.

Have you eat an anglerfish? Yes, try this Mito specialty. A deep sea fish, surprisingly delicious on a steamed rice pot with complete tempura/sashimi set for additional 700 yen. In the end I paid ¥2068 for a hearful meal, complete with appetizer and dessert. Have to try if you are in Mito, Ibaraki.

His ve is on was so flavourful and light, the umami broth is just wonderful. His fish dishes are good as well. Just a bit tricky to find the entrance to the carpark because there's no sign outside at the road. Need to drive slowly to find the small tiny entrance and exit. Other than that, super worth it for the food and experience. Will definitely come back again when I'm in Mito.
