Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Eau Claire

Nothing special. I got the avacodo turkey sandwich and ratatouille. The sandwich was good but my bacon was hard and just crumbled , over cooked and there was minimal Avacodo on it. Their seasoned mayo was great. The ratatouille tasted like a can of tomato basil soup and then just topped with a slice of zucchini that was quartered , stewed tomatoes and three noodles- wasn’t impressed. My grandpa got the mushroom stroganoff, he said it was good but he would not make a trip just to get it. My grandmother got the Reuben sandwich which she liked a lot however she wasn’t impressed , she thought it would have more flavor. The bread we got for an appetizer came with the meal. The bread was warm moist and delicious, honesty it was my favorite part. Water and soda comes with the meal as well. Atmosphere is wonderful , clean place. Staff all seem very professional.

Went to celebrate my husband’s birthday, which we normally do. We know what to expect, price wise. This time just we just felt like the value isn’t there anymore. The food wasn’t bad. However the mashed potatoes were really runny, salad was tiny with nothing much on it and the popovers are way too dense (used to be the reason we went there, love those things). Maybe what set me off was, I made a reservation, they knew it was for a birthday and they sat us in the bar area, just why! That’s not the seating one should choose for a birthday or any celebration. They did give him a card, which was nice. But, what happened to the nice birthday dessert? Overall, this was a disappointing visit. I think we’ll chose elsewhere next time.

Had the salmon salad with whipped goat cheese and brussetta tomatoes. Very delicious!! Great atmosphere. Will be back.

We’re been going here for years with our family when we come into town and usually it is wonderful but this time it was so disappointing. Didn’t want to seat us where we wanted where it would be quiet for our 95 year old mother could hear, waiter forgot our salad, didn’t know about entree changes we asked about since there were virtually no vegetarian choices (used to be several), didn’t refill water glasses, food came out cold, dirty dinner knife, no steak knife brought for steak dinner, never asked if we wanted more drinks or after dinner drinks, and took forever. Two hour dinner for salad and entree. Will think twice before heading back here unfortunately.

Been to Johnnys several times. The food has always been good. The service is “usually” good, and it was very good this time (thanks Jenny). We usually come for birthday celebrations. It’s expensive and we want to keep it special. We had made reservations and got seated right away. You get warm and delicious Popovers as a free appetizer. We orders steaks, surf and turf, and lobster Mac n cheese. All were cooked exactly to order and flavorful. Sides including mixed veggies and potatoes were good. They have terrific desserts and we all ordered our own. My molten chocolate cake was one of the best I’ve had.

What a beautiful place. Love the atmosphere. The service was excellent! The food was perfect. I had a cup of soup for starters. It was Friday, so I had to have the fish n chips. Excellent. My guy had the ribye and garlic mashed potatoes. The flavor of this steak was the best I've had yet in and around this area. I'll definitely be going back. Have to try the desserts next!

We had breakfast. I never see this omelet for salmon, cream cheese and spinach -(overall was not bad) because I thought the salmon will use fresh salmon. Love cheesy hash brown perfectly taste. My godson said love loves chocolate chips pancakes. He is actually enjoys his breakfast. I definitely come back for dinner since breakfast ✅

Art meets good food. I love the concept 😍 The ambiance is nice and definitely one of the formal dining around Eau Claire area. We ordered the pasta (Spicy Shrimp and Bolognese). The spicy shrimp was a little too spicy and this is coming from someone who can eat spicy food. We did love the Brussel sprout appetizer! I think that was our favorite. We'll try their other interesting dishes next time!

Extremely tasty food & drinks. Service was great even tho they were short staffed. Reservations are a good choice. The crispy pork belly with cold ginger noodles & the soft boiled egg was a great appetizer. My husband doesn't even like pork belly & he was impressed. The pasta Rockefeller with scallops and shrimp was wonderfully tasty. The sauce was a little thin, but the flavor was perfection!

Enjoyed my food but not the 18% service fee added onto the bill for dinning in. Please note: there were only three of us, so it wasn’t like the fee was for a huge group.

The mushroom ravioli is wonderful. We sat at the bar and soaked in the atmosphere. Pretty cool place! Even John Prine found Mona Lisa a delicious place for dinner.

I sat on the patio, and the ambiance is absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and the server was exceptionally great and attentive. My entrée was packed with flavor and I had enough left over for lunch tomorrow 🤤❤️

Definitely the best quality of food in the area. *update* I have had a lot more food experience and while this is likely the best local restaurant there are higher quality foods available. Potentially not locally. Several very good food selections, the beef tenderloin and the crispy pork belly stand out. The crispy pork belly is the best pig I've had.

Thank you Lisa and a big thank you to our server David and all those responsible for making this visit deliciously funny and satisfying. We came hungry and left happy and very pleased. The patio is my favorite spot to sit so far so if you like being outside and it’s available, take it.

Lovely upscale dining experience. Our party’s selection covered the Informalist’s touted speciality, wood-fired pizza, a cheeseburger with French fries and garlic aioli, a ribeye steak, and gnocchi. Everyone was quite happy with their selection. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was sublime!

The only right words...we loved it. Wasn't expecting a hotel to have a terrific restaurant. We were so wrong. I would go here even if I wasnt staying at the hotel. We shared the steak, and ate every it. The sauce with it was sooo good. Make reservations for the word is getting out.

Been here before, but it's been a very long time. We were passing through the area and looking for a place to eat. It happened to be a very busy weekend, and the Informalist was one of the few places that did not have a long line to get seated. Got in right away and seated for some brunch. The restaurant is spacious and well designed. It's a bit upscale, but perfectly capable of making people feel relaxed and welcome. We got greeted right away by the server and settled in with menus and waters. Our order wasn't complicated: some of the Custard Battered French Toast, a short stack of pancakes, and two eggs. I also ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra foam). It didn't take long for the food to come, but the London Fog took a while longer. The French Toast was amazingly good, and the pancakes and eggs were also very good. I was half done with my meal by the time my London Fog arrived, and the server was very apologetic (saying that the coffee shop was very busy). I might have been satisfied with that, but the London Fog was just okay. While there was some extra foam, the drink itself was flat, as if they just heated up the milk and mixed it with the tea. (They need to do a better job with polishing the steamed milk so that it creates a creamy texture, especially if they ar charging $8) Overall, a good experience, and a few tweaks would have made it excellent. Would stop again if I was in the mood for the French Toast.

Great location, great atmosphere. I’ve visited EC several times and have always wanted to come. On a weekend morning, there weren’t many servers, and although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, it still felt quite busy. I ordered brunch and a Margherita pizza. The food was delicious, but there were a few flaws, like the eggs Benedict being overcooked, with no runny yolk at all.

We were staying at the Lismore (double tree) and decided to come here for dinner. We didn’t have a reservation and did have to wait a while - no problem as it was Friday night and busy at the hotel. The atmosphere was excellent, open kitchen, beautiful decor etc. We started with drinks and fries for an appetizer. The fries were crispy and hot with a tasty bernaise sauce. For dinner I got the tater tot hotdish - this was really good. It was a more elevated version of the traditional hotdish. My girlfriend got the lamb and it was just alright. The flavors didn’t work as well together as expected. The side was quinoa spaetzle with mint and root beer glaze that didn’t pair well. Overall it’s worth a trip especially of you are already staying at the hotel. I would try the pizza next time as those looked really good and were ordered at many other tables.

The style and atmosphere were really good! Our server also did a good job. However, the food is not worth the price point. The plating and atmosphere are fancy, but the actual food was just kind of...fine? My gnocchi tasted only of cheese and onion. The walleye my partner had was, in their words, "insignificant. Protein and tomato." The dessert we had was very heavy on the lemon. Overall just kind of a meh experience at a high price point. As a plus, open on Sundays!

Went with a group of close work colleagues and family for a special outing. A few members of the group had previously went for brunch and had a great experience so our heads were high. When greeted by the hostess we were told about the specialty pizza, and was told around 15-20 minutes for it, so naturally me, and another ordered it. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:20ish and had our drinks in likely by 5:35 max. It was not until 6:30 at least. My margarita pizza’s cheese was burnt to oblivion. The duck breast ordered was cold on the inside, as well as the ribeye which was ice cold in the middle, which was ordered medium rare. (I will note I did not make the pizza aware to the manager as I did not notice the quality until comparing it with my family members pizza, who’s was correctly cooked.) After making this all clear the manager came out only to blow off it all off because a 12 top came in and got their order right before us. And claimed the duck was cold due to the toppings, which is not only incorrect as the middle was cold, but shady operating as a manager to incorrectly give paying patrons about the food they are ingesting. Thankfully the steak was heated up, unfortunately after this experience though I would not doubt if it was microwaved. Overall a poor display of cooking, serving, and managing.

Good food. Their famous chicken dumpling soup was good. We also ordered the turkey melt and eggs and hash browns - the typical diner food. They have a lot of baked goods but we were too full to get anything else. $37 total with tips.

Awesome atmosphere. Awesome servers. Chicken gizzards are perfect! Pancakes were mid (a bit too thick for my taste.) hash browns were oilier than what I prefer. The coffee though.... Damm! Cinnamon hazelnut was fantastic!

Wow, I hadn't been here in years and what an upgrade. The menu is huge and the food was fantastic. I had a salad with soup and a mini loaf of bread. My cousin had a caramel roll the size of a dinner roll. The waitress was friendly and attentive. On the way out I purchased a 3-pack of peanut butter cookies. Tasted just like homemade. I cannot wait to go back and try some other menu items?

Food was incredible and a good price! Coffee was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised that they had multiple different choices for pancakes including chocolate chip, blueberry, cinnamon apple, etc. Great atmosphere! Lots of great choices to pick from! Love it!

Went here for breakfast. Food that we ordered didnt match what the menu showed. The pancakes are aweful and so was the bacon. The staff dont seem to care what you think. 40 dollar breakfast for two and wow disappointed. Oh and dont get the cinnamon roll either. Uck

Randy's Family Restaurant offers a diverse menu and exceptional service. The coffee is delightful, and their patty melt is a standout—perfectly cooked and flavorful. A great spot for any meal!

Randy’s was packed when my husband and I stopped in. We were able to be seated quickly within 5 minutes. We started with the curds and they were delicious if not slightly overdone. I got the crispy chicken sandwich in original and it was good, but there could have been more seasoning. My side salad didn’t have frills but some of the lettuce was a bad. My husband got the Reuben which he liked. The fries were delicious. I will definitely try Randy’s again. Service was great, very attentive and they brought around a sample of warm vanilla pudding when we sat down.

We went in with 11 people (called ahead but they don't take reservations) and they were so amazing with accommodating us. I understand the struggle of fitting that many people together but all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ended up splitting the group for about 30 minutes, got drinks, and then when another table cleared out we were all able to sit together. The food was amazing with good pricing for the size, those crepes are huge! Definitely recommend coming here

Great place for breakfast!!! We were greeted right away with a friendly smiling bubbly person. They stated to sit anywhere. They even suggested going to the back. We loved walking through the building. The age, the decor, the use of the building. We sat in the back of the building next to a window. A staff person brought water as soon as we sat. Menu's and again more smiles :) ! I had coffee and my son kept to water. Food order was taken! Food arrived in an acceptable time. The lemon crepe was very good. Both of our dishes were very tasty! We highly recommend a breakfast stop when visiting Eau Claire.

Food was tasty and priced well. This is definitely more of a new age, artsy, hip location. The staff was super friendly and seemed actually happy to be here. The only complaint is when it's busy the sound is distracting. Overall, a delicious meal and supportive staff makes this a great stop to eat.

I was really excited to try out this restaurant. When I sat down I ordered a mimosa for me and my girl. The mimosa was okay. Did lack a little flavor but it did the job. Then I ordered pancakes , hash browns and sausage. The hash browns were HORRIBLE!!!! Tasted like cardboard… it lacked so much taste… Then I tried the pancakes and those were super dry and to be honest … the box pancakes I make tasted way better. Idk what they are cooking with or without but definitely not buttermilk pancakes. I’m from California and liverd in Louisiana so maybe my expectations were different… especially from me living in the south where food is full of flavor … but man this was BY FAR the worst breakfast I have ever had. I drank my mimosa and ate my sausage… that was it !!! The waitress that had a shaved head came and asked how everything was and I was honest but she barely tried to remedy the situation. Honesty you should of took the pancakes and hash-browns off my ticket since you seen I didn’t eat it. I tried to not make a fuss about it… she said she’d give me a discount…. Mannn look…. She took 3.00 of my bill… I was like are you serious…. They outta pocket. If a customer states the food is terrible and then you SEE they didn’t eat it … and still charge them .. outta line So no… I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone honestly. Especially after that customer service. Maybe they have better food off the menu but I’m not trying it. ♤ Since the owner replied let me set it straight. I'm a very straight forward individual! - I took a box because if I'm going to be charged for the food and not offered to take it off the ticket, then I might as well take it with me, right? I wasn't trying to eat anything else of the menu if the basic pancakes and hash browns were bad. That's basic breakfast... that's hard to mess up! Now I said I didn't make a fuss about the issue but it was just bad customer service and her whole attitude toward the situation... but next time I guess I should of asked for a refund. Just was bad food and bad customer service. A phone call would of been better. I'm fine with the situation, i just wouldn't advise anyone to go there. Some people really like it, but im not into false reviews. I do like the atmosphere! The guy I encounter was really kind and friendly. Best Wishes ... Hope it gets Better

Took a Lyft here from the Lismore. Located in Old Town, nice opportunity to see a different area of Eau Claire. Place was really busy but got a table right away. Waited a long time for our food, but figured our order got lost for we didn't get our meal until we noted our frustration. To be fair, they discounted our bill. Be aware they are going with trend charging for coffee refills...though again, they didn't charge us because of the long wait. Food was plentiful, but not extraordinary.

First time visit; friendly waitstaff; excellent food; comfortable environment in a historic building with artsy flair; reasonable prices; wait for seating in the coffee shop with excellent coffee! We will be back next time we are in town. (Worth any wait time you may encounter).

It was a rainy night when we arrived. So the warmth of the staff was really appreciated. Wooden decor revealed this has been here for a while and well-established for it was evident locals were meeting there for after work drinks Loved the warm sourdough rolls. I choose short ribs that literally fell off the bones. Loved the horse radish mashed potatoes. Desert great. Walked out of there with leftovers and talking about the great staff.

Best dry, extra dirty Grey Goose martini on this side of the state. Waitress was amazing. Enjoyed both the salmon & cod dinners. Nice, chill atmosphere with lots of original wood features.

I had the sweet and sour shrimp. My suggestion is to replace the mashed potatoes with rice, Mark it down as an appetizer. Rice and shrimp were an odd combo. We also had the honey pistachio chicken and it was basic. Nothing special. Patio is nice and quieter. But the staff have to take the trash out that same way

5-18-24 Superb dinner and service. The crusted walleye, beef medallions and crusted salmon were each perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef - Excellent meal.

Whoever is in charge here can thank the lovely Betty for the 5 Stars! ⭐️ Came here from out of town needing a good steak… started off with a non-alcoholic Whiskey Old fashioned that was quite bad - Betty took care of me and brought a very good non-alcoholic IPA that didn’t disappoint! I ordered the NY strip Mid rare but with a good sear. It showed up with a very good sear, and raw in the middle ha! Betty got it back to me cooked, still a bit rare for me but I guess everyone’s definition of medium rare is different… Not a bad steak all things considered! Overall I would say everything was under seasoned. The vegetables needed a LOT of salt. The potatoes were not as creamy as I expected (considering the menu says “Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes”. They needed salt as well. The steak could’ve used a good bit more salt as well, to be honest I don’t know if there was any on it haha. Finishing with the crème brûlée, (Betty’s recommendation). Perfect caramelized sugar with a cold custard underneath. They did serve it with a chocolate covered spoon which I thought was unnecessary and took away from the dish quite a bit… Thanks Betty for the great service! If I was back in Eau Claire again - I can’t say there would be a better option for steaks than this. Just hope they start cooking with salt! Thank you guys *last note - don’t get the Bernaise. It was slightly gelatinous and tasted only of tarragon and nothing else.

The waiter was super friendly and nice and joked with us a little. I wish the restaurant had more parking but I'm not going to let that spoil things. My husband and I had a great time and we both enjoyed our food. First time trying an espresso martini and it was delicious! Next time we are through Eau Claire, we will have to stop again!

Such an beautiful restaurant. My waitress Annie, is such an amazing person. She made the visit a 5 star visit! If you want any suggestions on food or drinks she is the girl to ask, everything she recommended was perfect! The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my father who is gluten free. I came to Wisconsin for the RAW ride from Massachusetts and honestly I would come back to Wisconsin again for this restaurant and to have the waitress Annie again. Can't say enough good things about the waitress and the food. ❤️

Being from out of town and just spending the night in town, we weren't sure if we would actually find anything good to eat. We were pleasantly surprised with the Livery Restaurant & Saloon. The service was great and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Wow wow wow … my husband and I had the best experience ever here! We came from the Twin Cities and ventured out and we only had one place to pick to go out to dinner and we picked here. And we so do not regret it. Josh, our bartender and experience maker, Suggested the KFC - a MUST!!

Savannah was amazing. She was So accommodating, sweet and kind. We got a bottle of wine….. If you are out wine, they have a very good selection for being a bar) . The food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend coming here, area is gorgeous you get to sit next to a fire pilt. I can’t think about any more I cannot recommend Savannah more to serve you Gonna do if we when you come in. She is amazing.

Excellent food! We had a salad, chicken salad wrap, and mussels. Everyone enjoyed their food and the server was kind and friendly. I love the vibe of this place. We were in the back room and the books on the wall are so fun to look at!

It has been forever since we’ve been to The Livery! My husband and I really enjoyed our take out meals tonight. The KFC chicken was delicious, as always. The burger and truffle fries were super tasty, too! Forgot how much I love the food here 🤤

Very cool restaurant and bar! Great server and bartenders! Fish fry was amazing. Wings and tots very good. Mojitos delicious. Greeter/hostess could be a little more flexible on larger groups and relax a bit but overall great place. We will definitely be back.

I frequented the Menomonie Acoustic Cafe for years when I attended Stout. My favourite order was blueberry french soda, a corned beef hoogie, and maybe a bowl of beer cheese soup. I had known of the other location for some time, but this was the first ocasion that I have visited it. I belive it is a bit larger, but it has the same lovely benches for seating. I definately prefer the decor and vibes at the Menomonie location, but I assume it can't be helped that this place was not as cozy and cute. I was able to get my french soda fix thankfully. Same great food and drink. Great staff.

I usually don’t make reviews like this, but I thought it was necessary. I don’t like to talk bad about restaurants, but the experience was not the greatest. I ordered the tuna pita and a cup of vegetable soup. The vegetable soup had a very bad aftertaste. I couldn’t even eat it. It also, barely had any vegetables in it. I would never suggest ordering that. My boyfriend got the chili and it was amazing! I think there’s other good things on the menu, but what I ordered was not it. The sandwich was good, but the tuna was mid it was still fishy. Needed more mayo. The real reason I made this review, was because I ordered an Italian soda because I can’t have caffeine. Unfortunately, there were hairs all over the outside of my cup. Hair, from somebody working in the kitchen. Not just one, multiple of them. I do not have short, black hair, I have long orange hair. My boyfriend’s coffee was delicious though. It was about $45 for two sandwiches, 2 cups of soup, poverty nachos, and two drinks. I thought the nachos had a funny after taste as well. So I couldn’t have more than a couple bites. They’re just microwave nachos. Just disappointed, there was hairs all over my cup.

I recently visited the cafe and tried their vegetable soup. I'd like to share my impressions. I'll start with the atmosphere. The cafe is cozy, with a pleasant interior. The service is fast and polite. You can tell the staff is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for customers. Now about the soup. The vegetable soup was very tasty and filling. The vegetables were fresh, well-cooked, but not overcooked. The broth was flavorful and rich. The portion of soup was large enough to satisfy my hunger. The soup was perfect for lunch on a cold day. Overall, I was very pleased with the vegetable soup and my visit to this cafe.

My sister and I made the trip over to Eau claire WI to collect our farther who lived a few doors up from this awesome cafe. It used to be one of his favourite places to go. We loved it there as the staff and the whole setting was awesome 👌 If you're ever passing and need a pit stop this is your place to go. Ooh and if you want an awesome tattoo then visit my cool cousin Tyree just down the street. Keep up the good job guys and that we will be back to see you again soon.

Amazing pita sandwich, iced Americano where you can taste the coffee!! And they fed my team of 27 women’s lacrosse players from Colorado College! Coming back!

I love this place because they open their tables,(and hearts), for the homeless. It has NOT hurt their business whatsoever. On behalf of the many homeless people in Eau Claire, I, we, thank you! I wish other businesses would follow your kind example!

This is a cool redone bar/grill in downtown Eau Claire. We went with friends (there was 4 of us) and had a rez. We got 3 different apps, Brussel sprouts, cheese curds, and pretzel bites. All of the apps were tasty but came out lukewarm. I got one of the bowls and it was pretty good. Everyone else said their food was enjoyable. It was nice in a town that has so much fried food offerings, this place had some options for healthier food. The thing that got us here was the service. We had a REZ, and within about 30 mins of sitting (ordered drinks and apps), our server comes up and starts talking about the next reservation. Which at that point was like an hour away. She was trying to say like we needed to hurry up and go ahead and order bc they had full tables that night. It was SO awkward and weird she was telling all of this. I asked if there was a time limit on the tables (in some places it’s like 2 hours), and she said no? We were all nice about it but were put off by the whole interaction. We never saw her again, but another server took over and pretty much hurried us through ordering and getting our food. When she dropped the bill, she mentioned the next reservation was now there. Your poor lack of planning does not dictate my need to hurry through my experience. And again we had only been there for like an hour and a half. I would try it again bc the food was pretty good but the service needs a revamp or training… or they need to figure out how to do reservations.

In downtown Eau Claire on a Monday and we were looking for a place for lunch— neither my partner nor I had ever been to The District but decided to give them a try. We were greeted and seated quickly and our server Michael was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fine— quiet enough for a conversation (we were the only ones seated downstairs) but nothing to get excited over. They did also have the air on as it was very hot out and the temp inside was comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to see a lunch menu! I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and my partner chose the BBQ Korean tacos with tofu. We also decided to share onion rings as our side as the menu said they were the best in town and I’m a lover of good onion rings. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and it was hot. I was a bit surprised when my chicken sandwich came to see that it was a slider— I did not remember seeing it written that way on the menu. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good sandwich. It had spice to it but I wouldn’t say it was hot. The pickles and slaw balanced the flavors. My partner thought his tacos were okay— he would have liked more crisp uses on his tofu and he thought the flavors were not particularly interesting. I had high hopes for the onion rings that were voted best in town, but we were disappointed. I will say that the onion rings were generously sized but the batter was lacking flavor (salt needed!!) and were quite greasy. Our experience at The District was okay and we will probably give them another chance at some point, but the food was just that for us— okay.

Pleasantly surprised there was so much to pick from. Got the dream smash burger, that was great. The brussel sprouts were also really good too. My partner got the Texan which he said he liked, and my son said his Mac and cheese was "bomb"! 😅 Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the variety 90s music that was playing. We got to sit at a table right by the window on the street, so it was a pleasant experience. Menus for adults and kids! Kids menus are very reasonably priced.

Was recommended to stop by from a local. One of the best lunch spots I’ve been to!Incredible burger. Great wings. The server was personable and friendly. Highly recommend.

We had a delicious lunch here. Amazing variety of beers, and my husband enjoyed his cocktail. The pizza fries appetizer was delicious! They can sub a black bean patty for any of their burgers. I got the "big dill" burger with the black bean patty and no bacon and it was delicious. My husband got the caprese burger and loved it. We had the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was absolutely the best I have had! Service was really good. Excellent dining experience.

This jewel has become my favourite bar/eatery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The menu is top notch; the bier and alcohol variety is unmatched and the staff is friendly and engaging. Do yourself a massive favour and try the Chicken Caprese sandwich along with incredible grilled brussel sprouts. Your taste buds will thank you.

This is the second time we have stopped here. We enjoy the food. The first time we came I got the gyro fries-5 stars. This time I got the gyro smash burger since there is a special on smash burgers on Saturdays. This was not as good as the fries. My husband got the OG smash burger and loved it. My children got the kids meals. They all really liked their pizzas. We will be back when we get to Eau Claire again.

The food was awesome super clean tasting didn’t feel like it was deep fried, which was nice. Coffee was good lots of potatoes in my dish and not enough meat however, overall this place is really good

My wife and I went for a first time great food myself got brisket and eggs. The brisket was awesome. My wife got the huevo rancheros she loved them as for our drinks I got a coffee and my wife got a banana strawberry shake. She loved it. I will gladly come back to this place.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, it is sad to see that the food has declined over the last couple years. Even today, we went in and my wife got a brisket hash with eggs and it was lacking pretty much any brisket. Even my breakfast sandwich was mostly bread and cheese, not much egg and a small sausage patty. It feels like French Press has been cutting corners in the last year across the board with food they offer, even though they charge the same but offer less. I still enjoy French Press for their coffee and atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend getting food here.

We had a wonderful experience today! We brought our two little girls with and the servers were amazing today on 9/30/25. I also tried the maple blueberry cold foam which was amazing and the gluten free pancakes were great! The atmosphere was great and kid friendly for sure. My husband is dairy free and I’m gluten free so it can be hard to find everything all in one. Such a cute stop on our trip through Eau Claire.

They are busy but there is ample seating available. We had a relatively large group but found a place to sit right away. There is seating available outside as well for when the weather is kind. The food is good but we return to this place for the friendly and prompt service. Staff are amazing and helpful and always have a smile on their face. It is not too loud but enough background chatter to give it a very cozy feeling when you are dining in.

Super friendly and professional staff. If they make a mistake they are super quick to make it right. The food is DELICIOUS!!! All the pastries are fresh and delectable. I love this place. So cute!

I was directed here by a nice woman at BP gas station, and I am very happy she did! Awesome baked goods! I had cherry hand pie fresh out of the oven and smoked salmon srcable . Awesome good! I had to to take two cinnamon rolls to go! Highly recommend this place!

The ambience was perfect, the gypsy margarita was absolutely delicious and A+ on the food plus menus. So much goodness to choose from! I had crab artichoke dip, caesar salad and catfish fingers... A wonderful experience.

Some of the most delicious food in the city. The staff is friendly, very helpful answering questions about the menu. Great atmosphere. Food can be a little messy, as good Cajun food should be! One suggestion: wet wipes at the tables.

My boyfriend said this was the best fish he’s had from a restaurant ever. And he’s picky on his fish. I love the drink selection, especially the mocktail options. Service is a little slow at times; you can tell they definitely want you to enjoy your time and have a long dinner.

I had the pasta Rockefeller with crawfish. Stella blues menu has a variety of food for everyone. Great and quick service. A good cocktail menu and drink options.

Order the corn bread and pass on most other dishes. We had ordered several dishes to share in our group. Mac & cheese was beyond over salted. Crab and Cajon dip was over powered with what I believe is Mayo, I barely touched it. They had posted on the bottom of each page that you're responsible to pay for each item ordered so I didn't bother bringing up to the server. She was nice and running around everywhere, just terrible food. Check it out for a drink but have a meal elsewhere is my recommendation.

Oh my goodness what an experience! Appetizer.... I ordered the oysters, they were very good but they needed one thing done to them before they were served. They need to be broiled for at least a minute! Then they will be perfect! I had Steak in red wine sauce with scallops in white cheese sauce with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes OMG it was amazing!! The choices of dessert is phenomenal! And the chocolate martinis.... yummy!

Some reviewers are complaining about the food but we had a good experience. I ordered the Rockefeller Pasta with crawfish. My friends ordered the Cajun Pasta and a burger. Though I didn't think either of the pastas were award winners I give them both a 7/10. We tried two or three drinks each and the only one we didn't like was the James Bond. I especially enjoyed the New Orleans Grenade which is built like a Long Island Iced Tea. The Lemonade with Green Apple Vodka was surprisingly good and not a combo I would normally go for. I love the vibe of the place which is kitschy without being too loud. Our server was amazing, prompt, and friendly. Stella Blues has extremely limited hours so I strongly recommend getting there early before people pack in.

We stayed at the Oxbow and decided that we would try eating at the Lakely that evening. They had a jazz ensemble that that was a bonus. Unfortunately, it was not the experience that we were hoping for. Got there about 9:00 on a Saturday night. Plenty of open tables and we got seated right away. Then things went downhill from there. Our server took a while to acknowledge us, and get to our table. They took our drink order, and said they would be back with waters. 10 minutes laters she came for our food order. We ordered several different items. She came back in little while later and said that they were out of two items. So we changed our order. Then she came back again and said that they were out of those two items. So we changed our order again. Then we waited. No waters, no drinks. At that point I went to the bar and told someone else that we were waiting for our items, and that our server might be having difficulty. We then relocated outside where it was a little more quiet, and we could talk. The rest of the service was provided by both the original server and the additional one (thanks Caroline). The food was a mix of good, and okay. Since we ended up settling on items that they still had. Cheese Curds, Burger and Wings were good. The Chorizo Tacos were just okay. Seems like the servers need better training or more help. Not sure I would want to eat here in the future. ps - The stay at the Oxbow Hotel was nice.

Very small but interesting menu. We all found the appetizers and drinks amazing, but food needs a bit more seasoning or a kick, especially because it was well cooked and prepared! The atmosphere and service were amazing!

I came for fish fry Friday and had a lovely cod dinner with The Grampa version of the Old Fashioned. The environment here is picturesque of a groovy jazz downtown environment and the live music started at 7pm which was perfect. The fish fry feedback: I had it fried and it was a little salty but still delicious. I would suggest that a few lemon wedges are served so a person could do use their fish in lemon if that's the preference. Or, cut back in the salt. The fry was really yummy! The coleslaw I prefer with celery seed or a little more apple cider vinegar, I guess it's preference but it seemed a little too sweet and flat but, it was still tasty. The Grampa is a hit as a cocktail. The presentation is a winner here.

Confusing and frustrating experience for allergies. We had hoped that our meal would be easy to accommodate because the menu had a lot of clear labeling, however there was so much uncertainty and contradiction about was in the food or preparation. For example, normally aioli should not have dairy in it. Yet in describing the preparation the chef said that “today” it wasn’t made with dairy, but the preparation included a “ranch packet” — which has dairy!? The sauce for another meal had no gluten, except it was made with soy sauce — which typically has gluten. The chef explained that it was “cooked off”. It doesn’t work like that. They really wanted to be accommodating and their concern was genuine. We just lost all confidence because knowledge wasn’t there. They were also really slow — possibly understaffed

This is our second time at The Lakely. We didn't have food, only drinks. They had a jazz band, and it was actually a very good band. All young, talented, promising musicians from Eau Claire. They do live music every Friday as well some other days, too. Would love to try again next time.

Started out with the bone marrow appetizer. Wonderful, my favorite part of the meal! Then we ordered the quinoa and garlic cakes with sprouts and lemon dijon sauce, and pheasant roasted garlic vegetables and black walnut cream sauce. Chased with Wisco ginger ale and a sour beer. EXCELLENT! Great service too.

I have been coming here for the last 2 years of my life and have never been disappointed. Egg rolls are always fresh and hot, service is always kind and welcoming. Additionally the boba is amazing along with all other food I have tried so far. A great local spot I will always come back to.

Spring rolls are huge and egg rolls are awesome. We both got stir-fry and we had huge potions . We both took half our meal home with us . They have a service counter to order and a service station to put your dishes in when done .

I haven't lived in Wisconsin for over 10 years but I always make a point of stopping by when I'm back visiting family. The combination pho and Lao-style papaya salad were my favorites and I always appreciated when the older gentleman would bring extra napkins when I would order my papaya salad Lao-spicy. I really miss this place and it is what I compare all Hmong/Lao/Vietnamese restaurants against when visiting for the first time. I've found some that come close but none that match.

Two years ago I gave 4 stars, today is an easy 5 stars for everything. Food was very good, service was exceptional. The bathrooms were immaculate. The back room looks very historic. I think the back room is used for overflow and perhaps meetings. We all had very delicious burgers. Give it a try.

Our first visit and we will definitely be going back again. We ordered a pizza burger (think grade school flavor!), California burger, and crispy chicken sandwich. Fries and waffle fries. With Court n House ranch - a must. My biggest complaint would be the grease smell if you're sitting near the kitchen. Thursdays are Two for One burgers and what a great special it is!

First visit. We had a steak sandwich and it was very tasty. Most delicious cheese curds we ever tried, absolutely recommend it with their ranch. Workers were super nice!

Stopped in after searching for places to eat near me. Good reviews, so our family stopped. I ordered the June special, Hawaiian Chicken and Waffle fries! Sandwich was good. I would have preferred a slice of Pineapple than chunks falling out! But it was good. Now the Waffle fries...Chick-fil-a, watch out! Great tasting fries!!! They also had homemade chips that were also a big hit! If I'm in the area again, I will go back!

Great place, I would say hidden jewel down town, off the beaten path, not big box franchise food. Just really good pub food with a relaxed scene. It might be described as a sports bar, I'm not sure, when I have been there it's laid back. The pizza is awesome, great garlic cheese curds, tater kegs are yummy, fish is very good. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. Outside dining was available, but we did have to chase flies off the food, it didn't ruin the experience but was a slight pain. Inside dining is great. Bathrooms are clean.

Every time I eat here it never disappoints. Nicely fresh cold beer on tap, true Chicago style pizza, all the bread and ranch is home made! The wings are phenomenal! The service is always amazing and greeted with a smile! The staff works hard and efficiently! The owners are super nice and run a great business! They are always willing to accommodate for big party’s, deliveries, orders and groups of people! It’s always such a treat!

We live near St.cloud MN and come to the area every couple of months and eat here for at least one meal if not two. This is BY FAR the best pizza we have ever had! Wish we had one by us! The service is always great and friendly, we feel like we are family. Owners are great, always want to make sure everything is right and humble people! Hope to be back soon!

We traveled through from Kentucky this last week and chose Geno's for my #pizzafriday. Ordered 2 small pizzas: Pep and Green Olive Xtra sauce and a Wallo Works. Phenomenal pizza and the sauce was amazing. I called on my way back to see if we get some sauce to go and the lady that answered the phone was more then accommodating. I wish I would have caught her name but regardless she was Amazing!

Beyond disappointed in our meal/service on Friday. We ordered 3 pizzas and after a 50 minute wait they came out. The sever dropped them off and said the kitchen messed up. This one has the wrong toppings and this one is way overcooked. We won’t charge you for them though. No offer to remake them or anything. Kids won’t eat onions and banana peppers which were what was added incorrectly to one. The other overcooked one was, as expected terrible. Even the one that was correct was a watery mess in the middle making for a terrible soggy crust.

Pizza is the best in the area by far , the wings are tender and delicious. Beer is ice cold with ice cold mug , there's no place in Eau Claire that has colder beer ! Always a warm welcome from the owners . Make this your next stop for pizza wings and beer .

We went at a slow time. Restaurant was empty. Service was ok. The young man helping us didn’t seem like a people person. He wasn’t rude or anything but he wasn’t welcoming either. The wraps we had I didn’t care for that much. I didn’t find they had much flavour. The chips however were very tasty. The washroom wasn’t very clean but it is a pub.

Love stopping here for lunch. Always super friendly staff. Definitely some of the best burgers in town. I typically go with the Cajun pub style burger with fries or the buffalo chicken wrap. Atmosphere is super fun. Plenty of TVs for watching sports. Fairly priced for quality as well.

Many friends speak positively of the food, drinks and atmosphere at Mogie’s. We were there for lunch on a weekend, following an event nearby at UW Eau Claire. Service, food, atmosphere all get 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again.

Great little joint in the college area of Water Street. Normally I get the standard burger to judge a joint, but when I saw the Garcia Burger for Jerry I had to try it, and it was delicious. Decent prices, friendly staff, quick service. It was a great find for this burger lover.

I love this place!! The eggrolls are so good I'd drive there from the cities for them! Great menu, food, atmosphere and staff!! We love their lomein, fried rice, katsu, and everything we have ever had! Good value too. We'll be back!

Maybe not THAT grand… The short trip to Eau Claire was coming to a close and I needed some food before I hit the road home. Around the corner from where Tim lives is a cafe he’s been to a few times. We took the short stroll there to get some breakfast and coffee in us. We popped in after the major breakfast crowd and before the lunch crowd made the small cafe packed. We took a seat towards the front by the window so we could get some natural light to go with our meal. Our waitress was a hoot. She was professional but really chatty and we all quickly got on the topic of horror movies, spooky things, and the love for reading. I got the house coffee with a biscotti stick to go with it. Tim got a latte thing. The waitress forgot my biscotti but quickly brought it over when I asked her about it. As for our meal, I ordered just the french toast and Tim got a full course meal. I wanted to eat somewhat light as I had the long drive but… when I say I got french toast… it was the most basic two slices of french toast I’ve ever had. It ended up tasting decent but for $8.49, it just felt like it needed to some with a side of protein or eggs or something. Tim said his The Grand Gatsby and Bread Pudding was good, even if he doesn’t care for Mango, which is what his Bread Pudding flavor was. The biscotti was really good, even better dipped in the coffee. The coffee itself was your typical drip coffee that you’d find across the country. Not great but not bad. It served it purpose. While it was a bit of a letdown that my last meal before heading home was less than stellar but the memories made at the cafe (and the whole trip) are one you can’t put a rating on. With that in mind, if we visit here again in 2025, I will definitely get a more substantial meal than two meager slices of french toast.

Vanilla Italian cream soda. Chicken and wild rice is truly excellent, served with a BLT and pickle 💕 phenomenal Pina colada bread pudding in the center and breakfast and iced latte for my partner. The eggs were cooked correctly and the potatoes were crisp. We came at a perfect time in the morning to sit outside with the dogs and it was just a lovely all around experience.

Hands down one of my absolute favorite cafes to visit in Eau Claire. Their breakfast menu is top notch and so is their lunch menu. Service is ALWAYS so good and the server I had today was SUCH a sweetheart. If you’re visiting Eau Claire or live here and haven’t come here for breakfast or lunch, you’re missing out!!! I got their southwest chicken wrap, chicken wild rice soup, with chips and a pickle. Everything was made to order and comes out hot/fresh.

Wanted to try a new place on a whim. Will get the good out of the way, cute decor and atmosphere, food smelled really good in there. That's it. When I approached the counter the worker gave me the Gen Z stare. No "hi", "welcome", "what can I get for you?". Just stared blinking at me silently until I started ordering. Yes, yes, we all hate our jobs, especially customer service. But you're being PAID to do it. Anyways. Ordered a large iced latte. It wasn't a latte, just an iced coffee. The latte was listed as $7.50 on the menu. The cashier had to confirm "large" "iced" and "oat milk" more than once. Not exactly a large order, how hard is that to remember? A second worker had to confirm "iced". Asked what syrup flavors they have. The answer? "We have a lot, so I don't know." If you're not gonna require your workers to know the syrup flavors, maybe have them listed somewhere? If they were listed, she sure didn't point them out to me. I asked for a to-go menu, she didn't know if they had any. This must've been her first day, no, hour working there. Comes time to pay, my $7.50 iced coffee somehow comes to $10.42. Because a splash of oat milk and half a squirt of syrup are $1 each. There goes her tip. Not even Starbucks expects $12+ for 16 ounces of iced coffee. Also it wasn't cold. Luckily for them I prefer easy ice. But if you're looking for an iced coffee, expect it to be partially warm. At least service was quick. But there was no line, so I'd hope it'd be quick. Won't be back for like 6 months or until i forget this experience. Genuinely ruined my day.

Grand Avenue Cafe is an excellent spot for coffee and breakfast. Their Moby Tuna sandwich is a standout, perfectly satisfying. The Grilled Pesto pizza sandwich is equally delicious, packed with flavor. A great choice for a tasty and cozy meal!

Seating can be difficult when they are busy, but food is always amazing! I've probably been to Grand Ave Cafe 100+ times and there have been maybe 2-3 times where I was a bit disappointed. The most recent time (two weekends ago,) was one of those times... We had a group of 8 people, all of which were split up into tables of two, and our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive at our table and food took another 30 minutes to arrive at our table after that. Normally I wouldn't complain, but for how busy they were when we arrived (half of the tables were taken,) I feel the extended waiting times, especially for a cup of coffee was a bit ridiculous. On top of that our servers all seemed like they were having a bad day with little to no communication or friendliness. The only saving grace was that our food was wonderful. That day I would have given them a 2/10, every other time I've been there 9-10/10.

Fantastic service!! Very quick made to order meal!! The serving size is perfect and meal is well balanced!! Wonderful atmosphere for large and small groups as well as individuals!! Highly recommended for those with Celiac Disease or a Gluten Allergy!! Fair prices as well!! This will keep me coming back to Eau Claire!!

Very good and authentic Thai food. The main dishes are solid, however the soups are where it's at. You can get multiple different soups that offer very unique and interesting flavors. The actual interior of the restaurant is not awful, but also not the best. Service can take a while sometimes, but it is simply due to how busy they are. I recommend giving them a try.

I came in 30 mins before closing and they wouldn't do a take out meal (thought that was weird) but would seat me. I can't express how happy I was with this food. The flavor was great, the spice was great, it was quick to come out. I REALLY liked this restaurant. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was great. The woman at the front desk of the Hampton inn recommended this place to me and I can't wait to go back.

I've been wanting to eat here for sometime. I finally took a day and went. And I loved everything! I had spring rolls, hot and sour soup, and garlic chicken. It was a kaleidoscope of bountiful flavors in my mouth. So tasty! I loved it all. I'll definitely be back.

Was on a work trip in Eau Claire on 9/25/2024. I wanted some asian food so decided to try Thai Orchid out. I entered and was seated right away. They let me choose where I wanted to sit. Server came out quick with water while I was looking over the menu. I ordered Chicken fried rice and an order of their spicy wings, spice level 3 out of 4(max). Food took about 10 minutes to come out. I tried the chicken first and it was still steaming from being so fresh out the oil. Very juicy and perfectly cooked chicken. Spice level was perfectly spicy for me. Do not try 3 or higher if you can't handle real spicy foods. I could have done 4 as 3 was good enough to slightly burn the tongue and lips. Wings and drums were very good sized. Not your small wings some restaurants have. Tried the fried rice with no Sriracha sauce first. Very tasty and flavorful as well. Had to add Sriracha for some spice to it. Food overall was very good for my 1st visit. Would definitely try again if in town. Service was good enough. Waiter really didn't come around anymore after bringing the food. I didn't need anything other than waiting to pay for my bill and needing a small container to pack what I didn't finish. Worth a try as the menu did have a good variety of choices.

Food and service was amazing. We were there during the lunch hour and it was very busy, including the take out area. Our food came out within 15 minutes from ordering, so with it being busy service was still on task. Highly recommend them if you like Thai cuisine ✨💫

Food here is great and consistent. It's flavorful and does taste like Thai food. You can order up to a very high spice level if you want to. Waiters/waitresses would answer any questions you may have about the menu. Prices are average but there aren't many Thai restaurants around here. Wait times have improved a lot, but still takes a little while during peak hours. There are instances where they'd be closed without any announcement or notice ahead. So make sure you call ahead before making your way there, if no one picks up then you can just assume they're closed.

My hubs and I stopped here to grab a quick bite. We were automatically seated even though it was busy which was nice. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a side salad and my hubs got the Philly cheese with fries. Both of the sammies were really good. Service was also pretty good. I gave this a 4 star because the salad was so basic. It was a hand full of the mixed lettuce you get in the grocery store in a bowl. No croutons, no cheese, no toms. It looked like their breakfast would be good too with big pancakes.

The atmosphere is one of a kind with cute novelty items everywhere. the staff and owners made you feel like you were part of their family. And the food was flawless and delicious. Made to order everything was fresh.

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!

Burger wasn't bad, worst part about it was that the mushrooms were from a can! Fries were great! Bartender was new, didn't know how to make my drink...but he was very nice and polite!

Fabulous burgers (try the breakfast burger). Prices were reasonable for the large portion size. You need to serve yourself at the bar. Bartender was accommodating and professional. Drinks were reasonably prices (soda water was a bit flat though). Would definitely return. Very neat decorations are on the walls. Our table was super sticky despite being wiped off (perhaps need a refinish on the table top?).

Reuben burger was huge and very tasty. I may lose my burger badge for saying this but I ended up finishing it with a knife and fork because it was so large (and messy). Service was on the slow side since we arrived around 1pm but there were few other patrons ordering at the time. I guess it was worth the wait.

Oldest operating bar in the area. Not too busy on a Saturday night during Labor day weekend. Ample seating available. Typical bar food. They are known for their hamburgers but the turkey sandwich was very good. Friendly bartenders.

Must try for the burgers & the tap beers (good selection)! Had the Hawaiian & some portabella fries. Definitely a bit of a dive bar time capsule in there!

The Amber Inn was apparently founded in 1881 and the same family have been running it ever since. I have to admit I had been to this place one time before, but I only tried one thing on the menu. This time I decided to go for the full experience. Looking from the outside, it looks like your stereotypical dive bar, a rugged exterior, a half lit sign, and no where to park. Yet, when I walked in I was completely shocked. It is of the most humble and well furbished bars in the entire city. Considering that it is so old, it was amazing how much was actually new and updated. However, it still managed to have that old classic feel, not the worn out classic, but like a nice ‘66 Chevrolet classic. Even though the bar is almost 100 years older than that. After the initial shock wore off, I looked around and saw the bar standards; dim lighting, a pub Style Grill, a couple of televisions, and a place to bet some money, but one of the things that stuck out the most was the “place order here” sign. I thought it was kind of humorous that even if you sat at a booth across the room with a menu and every intention of ordering, you had to get up and order it yourself. It really conveys the “we’ve been around so long we’re not doing extra work to make you happy and if you don’t like it you don’t have to order” mentality that seems to come with all walks of aging. Now they do bring the food out to you, but I thought it a little funny and kind of quirky that as a customer you're expected to go and order the food for yourself. The food came out surprisingly quick, even though we had shown up about 10 minutes after happy hour. Our appetizers came out in about 10 minutes and our entrees came out 20min after that. Just enough time to enjoy my wings and crisp beer. Now, I could sit here for days and compare it to other pubs and bars in Eau Claire but that's not really the point of this. In my opinion the food was exactly what you’d expect, but a little simpler that most.. The food was pub food, with a couple unique items, and nothing that I would personally drive out of my way for, but if anybody hasn't been here before, you absolutely must stop in and at least have a couple drinks, talk to the lovely ladies behind the bar, and take a picture of this comfortingly old classic, and maybe soak in some of what has kept them running for so long.

May 11th, 2025 Visiting my son for Mother’s Day and we chose this restaurant. Having never dined here we relied on the reviews. Spot On! We all enjoyed an Excellent brunch. Some delicious very inventive food selections The place was packed and with good reason. Loved the atmosphere.

Visited here for the first time for brunch and it did not disappoint! The breakfast options available were all delicious! I was told the omelet options were great, bacon was delicious, (just a little too fatty though), pancakes were good as well! (Just make sure to ask for extra syrup!) Overall was good! Give this place a try.

This is in my top 5 favorite places in the Chippewa Valley, hands down! Incredible food quality with amazing flavor. Loved every bite. I cannot wait to return. We arrived shortly after 9 and were seated immediately. The atmosphere is simple and small but perfect. The drip coffee was delicious. Service was spot on. Food was fantastic!

Lovely experience. My ribeye was done exquisitely (MR) and came with an Italian salsa verde (chimchurri) and fresh tomatoes.. frites were nice, a bit salty for my taste . Wife has perfectly cooked cod and potatoes. Service was great.,our reservation was waiting for us when we arrived. I highly recommend this dining experience

Excellent breakfast / brunch place with lots of unique options, including Scatterbrain coffee which is a fine place in its own right We tried specialty hash and egg en cocotte, both very delicious and filling Special mention of my hash browns since they were thinly shredded, very crispy and delicious. Will be back to try dinner … possibly later today 😋

This has to be in the top 3 restaurants in Eau Claire. The food definitely is fresh and scratch made and oh so delicious. My salmon was cooked to perfection and that's a rare feat in most restaurants. Everything was seasoned perfectly as well. The chocolate pot de creme was absolutely dreamy with fresh real whipped cream on it. The whole meal was wonderful start to finish. If you are a fry bread lover of any kind try the fry bread appetizer. It's really good. Service was excellent and our hostess went above and beyond to get us an excellent seat. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Casual enough for every day and fancy enough for a romantic dinner out. Very very good.

Ice cream was average! Cashier was super friendly but the scooper seemed to be upset/overwhelmed by how busy it was, this was the inside of my cone, lol.

If youre in the area, and anyone suggests anything OTHER than Olson's ... Just know they're wrong. This is the best ice cream I have EVER eaten - bar none. Lemon Pie in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Throw some white chocolate chips on top. Just do it.

Every visit I have had at this location has been amazing. The staff is great and the ice cream is superb. This is exactly why my family and I have been here on multiple occasions. We even bring our out of state fam here to grab a scoop or two or three 😆 Keep on serving!

Wonderful place with so many ice cream options that all taste delicious! Workers were beyond friendly and when confronted with being told my husband has celiacs they washed their hands got new gloves and opened a new container just to make sure he didn’t get gluten! Above and beyond these ladies went! Way to go!

Came to Valley Burger after hearing some wonderful reviews from friends. Inside is very comfortable, but not big. Maybe ten tables? The servers were definitely very busy and our drinks sat, but they were very friendly and food came out in a timely manner. My husband ordered a regular cheeseburger and I ordered the Wisco Whiz. They were double smash burgers and were about average, probably a little better. Their signature Valley sauce is awesome though! I think that's what made these burgers a little bit better than the average. My hubby wasn't a fan of the fries as they had skin on them, but I absolutely loved them. All in all, I'm glad we came and checked it out! I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the patio! (the pickles are so crispy and yummy by the way!)

5⭐️ Everything Please try this place. Amazing burgers 🍔 One of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. The quality of ingredients is locally sourced and of the highest standards. All burgers are smash burgers on amazing sesame seed buns. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, establishment was super clean and food was great. Portion size reflects the price and the quantity. Also, restrooms were clean and neat and plenty of parking. I would definitely eat here again and look forward to trying more items off the menu.

Considering what we spent I would have expected more. You get charged for every piece of your meal. If I spend $16 on a burger, I wouldn’t typically expect to spend another $5 to get tiny chunks of over cooked fries. It was ok at best.

This place was EVERYTHING you look for in a food joint. great atmosphere with games out for everyone and its in a rustic former bank. you can still see the vault doors. but the real highlight is the food, it was the best burger ive ever had in my life. from the sauces, golden crusted smash burger, the fantastic buns, it was spectacular. you could tell someone actually cares about the food that they are serving and using real ingredients. every single thing was fantastic, the fries and homemade sauces were the perfect side. i dont live in the area, but i will definitely make it a point to come back here.

This place lived up to the hype. Very tasty burgers and fries. The sauce was great on burgers, fries and the cheese curds. Good beer/bar list. Friendly staff. Lots of big TV's. Cool old building. Big outdoor seating area that is pet friendly. Seating inside does look to be cramped when busy. Definitely worth the stop.

We stopped here for dinner during my son’s graduation weekend from Stout. It was 9pm, we were lost and hungry so we pulled in. I am not lying when I say it was the best burger I have ever eaten. I am super picky on fries and they were amazing , too! Not sure if we will ever get back to Eau Claire but if we do we are stopping back! It was amazing!!

The food here is amazing! Tried the egg roll and curry katsu chicken. Loved the crispy chicken with the entree and the mustard sauce with the egg rolls. There is also a tea / bubble tea counter, which is a great addition Definitely highly recommended and I will be back

Visiting Family and found this gem. Been there 3 times. Will go one more time before we leave. I liked the soup better than the curry. Little too much gravy for me. Mango slush boba was very good.

Cute, well decorated, clean atmosphere. I've been here three times now and it's been this way each time! Service is friendly and fast. Appetizers and ramen dishes are great tasting and have good portions. There is also a nice selection of teas with boba to be added in if you'd like. I will definitely be back to try all the different ramen dishes!

Clean atmosphere, serve was polite. We had egg rolls (4 rolls), edamame, Alaska bowl, madden poke bowl and beef rice bowl. The beef rice bowl was over powered by meat and not enough rice. Madden bowl had good flavor and variety. Brown sugar bubble tea was great. The pearls are a $1 extra

The server was very nice and was cracking jokes with us. The calamari was very good and tasted fresh . My chicken Ramen was kinda bland but maybe that’s just how it’s supposed to be . It didn’t have much flavor . The steak Ramen was okay but the steak tasted a little burnt . I would definitely come again to try another dish before says no to this place :)

Absolutely awesome ramen! I had mine with gluten free noodles, I haven't found a ramen place with noodles I could have before. The service was great. Everything was very clean. The parking was a bit hard to find and it was bit pricey, but the whole experience was great. Will be going again!

Delicious fresh food with great friendly service. One of our favorite places in town to visit regularly! This location is always clean, courteous and consistently amazing! If you love real Raman or poke bowls, this is the best for both! They are also my favorite place to get a slush or Boba tea! Mmmm! I may have to go back sooner than later just thinking about it! Check them out! You won't be disappointed. My favorite is the Alaskan bowl with no onions!

Wonderful place to eat breakfast and probably more as well. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, 22 yrs, and decided to have breakfast at Altoona Family restaurant. We came in and quickly an older gentleman waved us over and asked how many in our group, we said 2 and we were seating in less than a minute. Then their kind staff took over and we had Wonderful service. I ordered a classic omelette with hash browns and wheat toast, try their homemade jam, outstanding! My wife ordered pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage links. We both couldn't finish it all, great portions and delicious food! I did have the fresh squeezed orange juice, it was great! Nothing but compliments to everyone who made our little breakfast a treasure. Aaron

Flavourful. Food is like a wonderful home cooked meal. Service was good , server was lovely and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was welcoming. They definitely have returning customers ( regulars) which was wonderful to see , being called by name and noticed. If you're looking for a good spot to eat that's friendly with good food I'd definitely give this place a try.

Visiting from Texas and this place is amazing. It had a large variety of menu items. For this visit I stayed on the breakfast side of things. From skillets to omelettes you have so many choices when you come here. We had the country omelette which was cheesy and amazing. The hash browns were like any other restaurant and had the right amount of crisp to them. One of my kids had the California skillet which he devoured. My other child had a waffle covered in berries and whip cream. My wife saw huevos rancheros which she said was not Texas but they were really good.

The wait staff and food are great. They are so friendly and attentive. I was asked by different waitresses who saw me and asked as they were walking towards the back or front if I needed anything. They aren't trying to rush you they are just making sure you have everything. Breakfast is served during all open hours. So, there was something for everyone. Would eat here again.

The food is always amazing, I completely understand why it's always busy! I love (most) of the waitresses I have when I go, and have never had a bad experience with one. The atmosphere is loud sometimes, like a usual restaurant space.

Great diner experience! We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was fast, food excellent. I had the ricotta lemon pancakes with bacon, and a small Oder of biscuits and gravy, and my husband had a waffle, bacon and fresh squeezed orange juice. Looking forward to coming back next trip. This was our first time here. We came here for a birthday. Party of 2. We played games first then decided to eat. We were told there was a 20min wait. We witnessed people come up and be seated before us. People that came in after us, who just walked in, sat for a few minutes then got a table. My husband made a comment which made the hostess come by us and over explain why she seated them first. She offered us a high table but said we couldn't get food. We opted to again wait for a table. Another group came up and asked if there was a table, again seated before us. When we finally got seated, the table was so wet the menus stuck to it and the napkins around the single fork we were given, was also soaked. Could a towel not be found to dry the table?? We then waited awhile for a waitress to come to our table. Took awhile for a pop and a water. Water tasted like chlorine and undrinkable. Our waitress took the food order and didnt return until we were almost done eating. We weren't offered drink refills, we weren't asked if we needed anything. It was like we were a massive inconvenience. This whole ordeal to be seated, get food and pay took over 90mins. Several times I wanted to just cancel the order and leave but we still had money on our game card and didnt want to come back here again. Honestly just a horrible experience on a day that was meant to be special.

Drinks were cute/good: seasonal frozen flight, grasshopper drink ( st pattys drinks are always a win!) Food: favs- asparagus and fish Other food ordered- Mac was okay, kinda bland ( great for kids) and the tacos just a regular American taco. Sweet potato fries were crispy also good! Service: Only one server, it wasn’t very busy she was very kind and attentive, gave us great service! Overall cute place, there is an arcade on one side and a large bar area on the other side. Nice lunch stop!

Solid place to get American fare. I got the Italian beef, very good. French fries had an interesting cut, not bad. House made ketchup tastes like shrimp sauce which I like, but any more horseradish it would be shrimp sauce. Overall, al great place to grab a bite to eat with family and friends.

Absolutely amazing, one of the best macaroni and cheeses I’ve ever had. The chicken was crispy and bursting with spicy flavorful sauce. The macaroni was creamy and the perfect consistency of cheese and noodles.

44 North was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration! Bryce was responsive and accomodating as we built out our vision for the day. With 100 guests in an open-house style event, we didn't know what to expect. What we go was a team of friendly, attentive, and flexible staff, amazing food, gorgeous views and an afternoon for the books. Thank you to the team who made this all possible - we are grateful for you all!

I've only been here one time, but I had a great experience. The food choices are interesting and well done. (My group had sandwiches and tacos) There are all kinds of games downstairs, but you can go upstairs and avoid all of that. It's really an interesting place. I have friends who have gone there for cocktails on a Friday evening and enjoyed the outdoor seating (which is all well covered). It's worth a try in my opinion.

Edit August 2025: I hate to do it but I took my 4 star down and put a 3 star. Has the food improved overall in the past couple years? Yes, but no matter how many times I order the same thing, it’s different each time. The fries keep changing, the style of chicken in the tacos keeps changing, I just want the food I order to be the same it was the last time I ordered it. May 2024: 44 North has really improved since I visited over a year ago. The new menu items are a huge improvement. I order the rotisserie chicken tacos and they are cooked perfectly and come with fresh chips and salsa. The service is pretty good unless it's busy but overall it's been a positive experience.

Met a group here for a birthday party. It seemed like a cool place, and there's a lot to do other than eat. We left early after a group game of mini bowling and didn't go downstairs with the rest of the group but I know there were more games downstairs. My girlfriend got the pizza pocket and said it was very good, I had the smash burger and that was very good as well. My main issue is when paying by scanning the qr code on the meal receipt, you are asked to enter your tip percentage, and after receiving the receipt in email, it showed everyone in the groups receipts too. I mentioned it to one of them and they asked if I noticed the gratuity was already on the ticket, which I did not and they did not either. I feel like the waitress should've made that known and it seems a little sneaky. So they ended up getting double tipped by more than just me.

Such a fun, cool place to dine at. Plus the smash burger with truffle fries was soooo good that I will probably never deviate when I come back. 😂 The Kitchen Chef/Manager even came out to check and see if we were enjoying our food. Really great, family friendly place.

Great place for families or friends to gather. Play board games while you dine, rent a lane for duckpin bowling, then hit the arcade. It was fun playing games from my childhood. Loved going to the arcade when I was younger so it was fun to bring my kids to play the same games and pinball. The food and service were fantastic. Staff was very attentive and checked on you often.

We came here for lunch to celebrate my partners birthday. We were recommended here since we have little kids and were told it was kid friendly. We couldn't have been more wrong. Our experience was absolutely horrible. We had ordered our food and took out some games and coloring to do while we waited. All was fine at first. After a long wait of 50 minutes, we received only part of our order. My 4 year old was left waiting for their pizza, which didnt come until 10 minutes later. When we started to dig into our food my partner and I found burnt pieces. My partners fried chicken was burnt crisp, amd her bun was completely charred inside. So much that she even tried to scrap some of the burnt ash off of it. My nachos were barely topped with the abundance of toppings the menu offered. The queso cheese was cold on top and a bunch of the chips on the bottom layer were burnt at the edges and corners. If that wasn't enough to put a sour taste in our mouths (quite literally), the service that we received put it over the top for us. We were only checked in on twice and in those times, our waitress didn't refill any of our drinks (we had all just had ice waters), and stood around in the back with other waitresses while we waited to be served. She acted incredibly disinterested in what she was doing and made my partner and I both feel like she really didn't want to be our waitress or wait on us. When she finally came back for the 2nd time, I had told her about my partners dish as well as mine and how burnt they were. I had said that the nacho plates I had seen coming out to other tables were much more loaded than mine was and that mine had been cold right away. All she said was "ooo, okay I'll ask my manager what to do." And then left. Didn't take the burnt plates, didnt apologize for the mistake, nothing. Just turned and left. We were sitting right next to the kitchen and waitress station so I had a clear view of the happenings. Our waitress went over to the manager, they said a few words, the manager ROLLED HER EYES, and then the waitress went into the kitchen. 20 MINUTES LATER, she stopped back with a couple boxes that we had requested for our kiddos bc they were getting so antsy with the waiting (like, for over an hour and a half almost). When I asked her for an update she quickly said "oh, yeah, um, my manager said that she'd just take some off of your bill." When I asked if there was anything else they could do, bc, my partner and I were obviously extremely hungry now and wanted to eat (thats why we were here in the 1st place) all she said was "well if i were to take the plates back, then we would have to make a whole new dish just to fill the order that weve already filled." I was pissed at this answer. My partner then asked for the check, which of course, came within 5 minutes of us asking. Our bill had been discounted only for my partners food. We still ended up paying full price for mine. We left hungry, frustrated, and extremely disappointed in the service from the waitress, the inconsiderate response to our requests for better food quality, and extremely upset at the MANAGER for rolling her eyes at us, and not holding her staff accountable to rectify a, most likely, honest mistake in the kitchen. We will NOT be coming back here and we WILL be sharing this experience with our family and friends. Reboot Social, you have lost some valuable business. Do better.

We came in with a big group of 14 and all came out of town. Our server, Maggie was extremely attentive, kind, and friendly. The food portions were good and the manager was also very friendly. This is a great spot!

Reboot Social is an absolute gem in downtown Eau Claire! The food was excellent with plenty of menu options that stayed true to the theme—something for everyone without being overwhelming. The arcade and games were a huge hit with our family and gave us a chance to put down our phones and just enjoy being together. There was something truly nostalgic about watching our kids (5, 5, and 7) light up playing pinball machines, just like we did when we were younger. On top of that, the sports on the TVs created a fun atmosphere, and the arcade itself is top-notch. We even had some good luck on the pull tabs, which added to the excitement! We will definitely be back—this is a fantastic addition to Eau Claire’s downtown scene, and one our family is already looking forward to visiting again.

Really enjoyed this place while breaking my boys away from the family visit. Initially they did not know what to do. The games are classic games and not with modern graphics. So they took a while to warm up to the concept. Fun little duck pin bowling game. A few pinball machines and arcades upstairs but the fun is downstairs with countless pinball machines and arcades for hours of fun. Weekly specials on food. For this day we visited they had wonderful all beef hot dogs. The jalapeño dog was delicious. The fries were awesome with a side of ranch. The beer was interesting as it was served in a plastic cup I am assuming due to the gaming aspect of this place they have had too many broken glasses. The plastic up does not do a great job with keeping the beer cold though. I do not know what the fix would be for this but definitely need a chilled glass with your ice cold beer. Besides that Molly was our server and she was very nice and accommodating.

Decent vegan sandwich with great service and a really nice dining space. They also have a great range of healthy snacks and drinks on the shelves.

I posted a review for this place when it first opened but must have deleted due to not liking the picture Anyway here we are several years later - still a great place for soup, sandwiches and gelato, especially if you work nearby in one of the professional buildings. If you don’t Xavier is still a good place to stop since they are located right in the lobby. I will definitely be back to try a hand pie and affogato

I had a delicious breakfast burrito with a side of chipotle sauce. Quiet, clean, and nice ambiance. This is located right as you enter this medical office bldg on the right. Recommend!

We tried the meal of the week, which was a Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted veggies and a salad with an orange vinaigrette and it was fantastic; the kids also enjoyed it! We appreciate the oven ready/warm-up options to make a weekday meal delicious and quick. You could tell everything was homemade also which is very important to us. These would be perfect to order when you're hosting such as a kids birthday party, retirement dinner, etc. Bonus- we have leftovers too and fed 5 so you could easily feed 8. Give this one a try folks, you won’t be disappointed! 👏

I finally got over to try this place for breakfast and was very pleased with the food, service, and space that it's in. I will definitely be back to try their in-store baked goods like carrot cake and banana cake as well as their soup and sandwich menu. The coffee was delicious, and I tried the spinach/ feta and zatar flatbreads, and they were very tasty. The building is beautiful, and it's right on the River Prarie trail, so we went for a walk by the river after our brunch.

Communication and working out the details was on task and extremely organized as it was the last time I used them. The food was absolutely delicious. They delivered the sandwiches, salads, coffee, and desserts ready to be served. It was all very fresh and warm. Our guests raved about all the food and wanted Xavier Artisan Bistros information so they can experience more of their amazing food 😍. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to cater an event, gathering, or need a place for breakfast, lunch, or supper 😍

Me and significant other decided to break our fast one night doing the month of Ramadan here. We ordered the fried cauliflower for an appetizer which was terrible as well look freezer burnt our hosted agreed they didn’t look good. My significant other ordered MB burger and wasn’t impressed at all. As for me I ordered the chicken sandwich which was fair just was so thick and didn’t have enough pickles nor sauce on it. Both sets of our fries look and tasted as if they had been sitting out for a while and look very oily definitely wasn’t impressed with those none whatsoever. Our host was wonderful which made up for the terrible food which lacked any form of real care and or concern for the ppl. As always, the atmosphere is excellent. I wouldn’t recommend this place to know one if you looking to have a great burger and or meal. It’s plenty burger places in town that put more effort, energy and value into their food/burgers wayyyy better than what we experience here. Amazing restaurant, delicious and unique food, varied menu, reasonably priced, and on top of everything else, super nice staff! Cheese curds are as big as golf balls and out of this world. My burger and waffle fries were so tasty and perfect. Definitely recommend and will be stopping back when in town again! 💖

Hell of a burger! We're in town for a business trip and looked for something good to have door dashed. We got tons of food and it was great! The Cheese Curds were awesome and they gave us a pile of onion rings. Way more than we could eat in one sitting. Good stuff.

Definitely a must try sports bar. The cheese curd cheeseburger is crazy good! The sauce is on point and the large curds are perfect on here. You'd think it'd be too much, and it's rich, don't get me wrong, but it's balanced well with the creamy sauce and probably the best thing I tried here. Their Do Gooder burger is also very good, it is spicy! The blue cheese potato salad is an incredible side and I highly recommend having someone at the table getting it and having everyone try some of it! We tried a lot of their apps since it was happy hour and they were all good. The best of the curds were probably the fair curds, but I'd highly recommend trying the curd sampler to get a little taste of them all. We had to try the Big Mil Bloody and it didn't disappoint, I like a more vinegary bloody, and thought this one was spot on! Super good over all and will definitely be back. Something on the menu for everyone!

Very nice experience while in Eau Claire. Got the Aztec crunch and curds and very impressed. Tried the gluten-free bun because it's catching up to me and couldn't tell the difference. Super friendly staff, nice place and excellent variety and specials.

Amazing service, only topped by the amazing food. Had the brown sugar burger and it was by far the best burger I've ever had in a restaurant, and the cheese curds were absolutely humongous! Staff was really friendly and checked in on us frequently. Definitely coming back!

Such an amazing place. Food was delicious, lots to choose from, such a wonderful waitress, price was not bad. We just stopped for a quick meal passing through on our way to the Dells and it did not disappoint, wish there was one in the MN metro area because we would go more often for sure.

The smell is amazing when you walk in. The service is fantastic & their cocktails are very good. The beef brisket melted in your mouth & was made perfectly. The walleye was good. But it would have been great if they put a garnish, like parsley on their meal plates. It would add more color to a bland colored plate of food. The chicken wild rice soup was delicious. Chicken was very tender & very good. I'll definitely be back!

The food was great, the cheese curds were huge. (We're not from around here, so this was a surprise for us.) We had the brisket platter and it was very good. Atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. The service lacked, though. We barely saw our waitress and when we did she was disinterested. She also forgot one of the drinks ordered.

Grizzly’s will always be one of my favorite restaurants to visit. I was glad to get the chance to try the location in Eau Claire on a road trip after our local one closed. Grizzlies food is always on point and they have some of the greatest cheese curds ever! The service was great. We had cheese curds to start and I had the Parmesan encrusted walleye. My wife enjoyed her bear creek pasta. Overall grizzly’s is a safe bet to eat at it and enjoy a warm atmosphere, good service and good food.

Loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was very cozy. We were greeted with the amazing smell of the woodfire which was cooking the rotisserie chicken. Everything we ordered came out perfect and tasted great. Laken, our waitress, was simply the best. She was very friendly and made our dining experience great. I highly recommend stopping here!

We went in the early afternoon (Saturday). It wasn’t busy. We were seated quickly in a booth. Our server, Jane, was friendly and helpful. We both had the Bear Creek pasta - it was delicious!! Price was very reasonable. Would definitely go here again.

We had a wonderful time and meal., we had a party of 11 and our table was ready before our reservations. The entire experience was amazing and our servers were friendly, quick, and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Visiting with some family and the place was great ! Our server was attentive and made sure we were doing well. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. There was a few birthdays there as well on other tables and we got to witness some servers call out that too ! Pretty loud if you're not expecting it! Which is the whole point I think. Everyone joined in and it was over all a good time !

Good food and great atmosphere! It’s always busy here but service continues to be fast and friendly. Very flavorful steaks and deep fried pickles are the best around.

Ordered online and picked up the food, normally things are good but this time everything was bad. The portions were much smaller than usual, as shown in images. The chicken was mostly fat, the macaroni was dry and barely any cheese, the bread had drops of bbq sauce on it and was dry/old. The worst part, the potatoes had some big chunk of something black at the bottom so I didn’t see it until I already ate some of it. Very disappointed, will not be returning to this location.

The food is always good here. You can always count on a quality well cooked steak. I had the bone in ribeye, it was cooked perfectly and perfect marbling. This is one of the best values on the steak menu. The soft Hot bread is unbelievable, it’s so good, but these can fill you up in a heartbeat. And who doesn’t like free peanuts? Even if you’re not at the ball game. The Atmosphere is a bit loud here, so if you’re coming for a meeting, probably not the best idea.

This is a great location! The staff was friendly, outgoing and super helpful. The food was perfectly prepared! I had a boneless ribeye, well done and it was perfect, done outside, but juicy and tender inside with a fully loaded baked potato & buttered corn. It was all very delicious!

First time here. I was very impressed with this restaurant. (new location?). It was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Came for a Saturday lunch, and got seated right away. Our server did a great job to get us settled in with menus, waters, chips, and salsa. Got an order of Guacamole. It was just "okay". It didn't taste very fresh. We always get Guacomle and have pretty high standards for quality, freshness, seasoning. This batch tasted a little "off". The rest of the meal items were very good. Got an order of chicken tacos, the Shrimp & Avocado salad, and one Beef Birria Taco ( with the consome). Everything was flavorful, hot and well presented. Loved the bowl of consome with the birria). With the exception of the mediocre guacamole, it was an excellent experience. Would come back again.

Our early evening patio dining experience was superb! Our waiter was very informative and helpful in assisting us. He checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. The food and beverages were beautifully presented and everything was so tasty and fresh. Will definitely go back to Juanita's in River Prairie again.

Stopped in for a super fun Cindo De Mayo celebration! Of course we enjoyed the free tequila shots but the food and blended margaritas were also 10/10. The salsa tastes homemade and fresh. Our waitress was so attentive regardless of how chaotic it was! Props to her. Only complaint was the hostesses were really scrambling due to being so busy and causing a scene at the door. They could try to keep those issues private and be more professional in front of customers. Family friendly environment with an adorable little outdoor patio! Highly recommend.

Had an excellent experience dining for an early dinner. Wait staff was friendly and helpful in deciding what to order and was very satisfied with my choice. Also perfectly attentive making sure my party had what we needed at the right times.

We went around 630 and it wasn't too busy so it was pretty quiet. Our server was very attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. We aren't from the area but when we come through again we will for sure come back.

Disappointing Experience at This Overhyped Mexican Spot – Not Worth the Hype or Price I was on a business trip and staying at a really nice hotel nearby, so I decided to check out this Mexican restaurant just down the street with a group of colleagues. What a letdown. The food quality was basic at best – nothing special or authentic that stood out. But the real issue was the portions: they were ridiculously small for the prices we paid, leaving us all feeling ripped off and still hungry. It was kind of disappointing on every level, especially since I'm no stranger to the service industry (I come from restaurants and bars, and I'm a manager at a large corporation, so I get how things work behind the scenes). Service was probably one of the worst I've encountered in a very long time. Our waitress wasn't friendly at all – when we'd ask questions, she'd give vague, half-hearted responses that didn't help. We were a table of four, and when we handed over our credit cards to pay (since we were in a group), she clearly didn't know whose card was whose, which added unnecessary confusion and awkwardness. Then, when I asked for some salsa, it took a full 25 minutes to bring it out – we're at a Mexican restaurant, for crying out loud! And don't get me started on the sauces: they normally have that ranchero sauce or green sauce, but what they gave us was barely enough to put on two chips for the entire table. Pathetic. This place seems like a basic cash grab targeting all the corporate people staying in the nearby hotels. You're way better off skipping it and heading to a food truck down the road for something more satisfying and value-packed. The only redeeming factor was the ambience – it was pretty nice just because the place inside a strip mall. But that doesn't make up for the subpar food, tiny portions, and terrible service. Save your money and time; go elsewhere.

Been here several times in the past. It has always been good and this time was no exception. We always seem to eat here, outside of the normal lunch/dinner rush. When we arrived Sunday mid afternoon, there were only several others tables of customers. Got greeted and seated right away. Our server was super friendly, and got us settled in with menus and waters. We immediately ordered some guacamole, which is fresh and chunky, with excellent chips. We ordered some drinks, which included a couple margaritas. Our server explained that for only a few more dollars we would essentially be getting two more margaritas, so we took their advice. We ordered several different entrees, including the special, Calamari Calafia (squid steak). Everything came out in short order, was hot, well seasoned and generous portions. Everyone was raving about the quality. There was a Burrito Bowl, Al Pastor Burrito, Al Pastor Tacos. My Calamari Calafia was outstanding. It came with a Jalapeno Cream Sauce that mildly spicy and an excellent addition to the squid steaks. I love calamari and this was probably the best that I have had. (Friend calamari can be chewy, and this was not). An awesome meal, as usual. This is our go-to spot for mexican in Eau Claire.

I noticed this restaurant after driving around the back side of the mall. I’m sure that back in the day this was a much busier area, but now there really isn’t anything over there. Manny’s exists as a relic of the past. And that’s why I think their prices are too high. I’m sure they don’t have the ability to offer low (or even medium) priced options because they don’t receive enough business to afford the lower margins. I decided to give it a try, just to see how the place was doing. The first thing I noticed was how there were no other customers here at lunchtime. Starting off with an appetizer of THREE jalapeño poppers, I was already set back $9! And that was it for me. Nothing else on the menu was affordable. Plus, there is an additional credit card charge to get even more money out of you! There shouldn’t be any shame in closing a restaurant because of changing times. Instead of price gouging to stay alive, they should just let the business go.

Manny's had a great look and feel to it. The food was really good and had lots of flavor. The Jumbo margarita was awesome but was excluded from the "all margaritas are half price on Wednesday's" so that was kind of a bummer to find out when I go the bill. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. It is definitely spendy but the quality is there.

Firstly, Manny himself was a joy to talk to, however I wish we did not have to involve him. Our waitress was deceiving from the outset. We ordered a margarita and she asked us what kind of tequila we would like without telling us that the prices for margheritas listed on the menu are actually for virgin margheritas and tequila is considered an add on. Further, when I ordered a meal without meat or cheese, she asked if I wanted vegetables in my meal, never stating that this would charge extra. She also asked if I wanted soup or salad with my meal, again, never stating that this was not included. We were charged extra for the tequila that should have been included with the margherita, the vegetables ($3??), and the salad ($4). My meal was also topped with cheese when I specifically asked for it to exclude cheese. The guacamole we ordered was essentially just mashed avocados and tasted as if it did not even have salt. When we confronted the waitress, she kept referring to the menu and saying that we received those up charges because that information is in the menu (halfway down the page listed under details for a different item). She also stated, "what did you expect to happen when you ordered a soup as one of your meals?" (mind you, their bowls of soup are $10, nearly the cost of a meal). I have never had an experience at a restaurant where wait staff did not give a warning about an upcharge, especially after offering items to you themselves. Manny did give us 30% off to compensate for his waitress's actions but that woman most should not be in this business, or honestly in any business involving customer relations. If you choose to visit this restaurant, ask exactly what every single item is going to cost before you order, because your side (or even your tequila!) might be an upcharge even if your wait staff suggest otherwise. Edit to add that my fiance got explosive food poisoning after our visit. He had chicken in his meal that likely caused this.

Looks like it used to be good? Menu is strange assortment. Came because we thought it was Mexican restaurant and it had good reviews on my gluten free restaurant app. Well...we will not be back. Food was mediocre at best...veggies tasted like frozen bagged veg. The chips and salsa were the only good part, but they hardly bring you any. My fajitas were flavorless as were the beans and guacamole. Our server sneezed multiple times in a row, right next to the pass through window from the kitchen. I saw no attempts to be sanitary with her sneezing, and after all the loud wet sneezes, she went straight back to carrying things around. No hand washing! It was had to finish my meal after that, and I got a bit worried then that my food had been handled properly, and was celiac-safe. It was a Sunday evening, or we would have gone elsewhere. Disappointing for sure.

The atmosphere was amazing. Very authentic and comfortable. The food was very good and fresh. Good size portions. The strawberry daiquiri was very good as well as other drinks. I was shopping in Wisconsin from Minnesota and stumbled into Manny's for dinner. I will be driving from Minnesota to Wisconsin just to experience the fine ambiance and the beautiful surroundings.. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely be going there again 😃

Tonight, we brought our young children (ages 4 & 6) to Eau Claire, WI’s Olive Garden. This was their first time dining at the chain restaurant, so we prepped them by saying that this was a fancy place and that we all needed to be on our best behavior. While inside, we were greeted by a charming hostess and immediately seated by our waiter, Liam. We explained our “fancy meal” scenario and he immediately started played along by treating us like royalty. (My daughter — the princess—curtsied and he bowed in return.) The restaurant was very clean and modern. I appreciated the gluten free menu for my sensitivity. (Thankfully my favorite soup and salad combo was GF!) Our kids devoured the bread sticks and we packaged up their meals for tomorrow’s lunch. Overall, we had a great experience and we like to give much of that credit to our server, Liam. Thanks for helping us enjoy a fun meal out as a family—the experience reminded us of our past Disney Cruise waiters.

Great experience, the food was much better than expected. I frequent a lot of Italian restaurants and travel to Italy 3 to 4 times a year. I have to say the pasta here was excellent. The service is always good. The endless pasta is a fabulous deal as well. And who doesn’t like unlimited, piping hot breadsticks? :-)

100 ⭐s!! I did two pickup orders from here on 8/1/25 & 8/9/25. Both times my food was ready when the app said it would be. Both times food was all well packaged, nothing missing, and walked out to my vehicle by a smiling associate. A bonus needs to be given to whomever made the Zuppa Toscana soup on 8/9 👏🏾👏🏾 Food was hot and delicious!! No complaints!! #chubbytruckerspproved

My mom and I went for lunch and had a great experience. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. We got refills and food in a very timely matter. We enjoyed the food. Our table was cleared and never really cluttered. We had a couple hard breadsticks but that seems to be normal, they're unlimited so doesn't bother us. Overall we had a pleasant experience.

Best Olive Garden I’ve ever been to. Every single worker was so sweet and kind, our waitress was amazing. The food was delicious, breadsticks were kinda stale but everything else was phenomenal.

First time visiting with my daughter. Little bit of a wait. But food was delicious service was great. Dauther rates it 520,000,000/10 lol Bathroom was clean but definitely needs some tlc. Broken paper towel dispenser metal sticking off from bottom of stalls.

As always, excellent food & even better service. The waitress made sure our drinks stayed topped off and even brought each of us extra fries! The only snags was not having a clear vegan menu & some of the food wasn't fully prepared as requested (my nephew's burger wasn't cooked fully to his liking; my food was fixed perfectly!)

Went here after spending a full day at the water Park nearby. Service was a little slow, but the server was polite and as attentive as he could be. Honestly I don't know why Red Robins aren't busier, it's ENDLESS sides!!! And you can mix them up! Sweet potato fries, then garlic Parm fries, then broccoli, keep em coming and changing!! I eat keto, so the fact that I could get my burger lettuce wrapped was a game changer!!! Plus all the garlic broccoli I could eat!!!! Pretty sure our waiter was eager for us to leave because we constantly wanted more sides....but it's BOTTOMLESS!! One of our kids got the bottomless Mac & cheese, which also comes with bottomless sides! If you're kids are always hungry, bring them to red Robin!!! My only regret is that there isn't one closer!

Wasn't bad, cold steak fries but dang good burger, boneless wings were great, sweet potato fries good too. Waitress was very nice, I can forgive the fries cause $10 cheeseburger day, and it was very filling.

It was my families first time at any Red Robin’s, and I will say the food is great! Love the fries! And the service was great! We told the waitress it was our first time in and she was very helpful and kind. Even the manager came out to greeet us and bring us our first round of bottomless fries! Food was great and so was service will be back!

I brought my teenage for a nice relaxing meal after a long week. Food was flavorful & fresh! He loved the bottomless fries & the huge double patty burger!

We were lead to a table with something spilled in front and under it. Moved ourselves to a booth in the bar. Service ok. Burger was delicious!! More fries could have been served. When asked for more, 6 fries were in the basket🤦🏽‍♀️. Understand not wasting but skimping doesn’t solve the issue. Happy medium would have been devine. Ugh a tavern burger is worse than McDonalds. Tiny, thin, frozen patty and not cooked barely warmed. It was literally cold. Such a disappointment! I want to love this place but Geesh I don’t think it’s worth the return.

Filled the cycles with fuel, so needed some go juice for the body. Found this located in downtown Eau Claire as we rode through town. Found some free street parking right in front of the restaurant. Lunch menu was geared to burgers and a few other items, so we went with a Galloway burger and the other one had pulled pork with a patty. Both were cooked to order and came with a side. I upgraded to a side salad- trying to improve my diet! Nicely prepared salad with Romaine lettuce and other veggies. My burger was cooked a perfect ‘medium’ with just enough light pink color. My buddies -pork and burger mix was a wholesome meal. All the necessary condiments were on the table to serve yourself. Restaurant decor had a bunch of old signs and historical artifacts. Made the place fun to view while awaiting the food. Staff was super friendly and attentive, so would definitely stop here again on my next ride through Eau Claire.

First time back after their reopening and it was wonderful. Arriving in the early afternoon on a Monday to be greeted immediately by the bartender. Had a spicy bloody and a water. Kerstyn the bartender quickly returned with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered the Kicking Goat Burger with curly fries and an order of wings with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. Didn’t notice any other patrons inside but again not a peak time. A fee employees started arriving for their dinner shifts. All were dressed neatly in black pants and black Galloway Grille golf shirt. Shortly after Kerstyn brought out our food which upon first glances looked very appetizing and smelled wonderful. We shared the burger cutting it in half to find a beautifully cooked and juicy burger. This burger had bacon grilled jalapeños and a crusted smoked goat cheese. It was delicious! Sorry no picture; just have to trust me on this one. As for my wing they were presented nicely in a bowl perfectly dressed with just the right amount of buffalo dressing. This buffalo dressing was probably the best I have tasted. Their blue cheese dip was very good as well with lots of blue cheese chunks. I would definitely put these wings among the best in Eau Claire. Don’t miss out and give Galloway Grille an opportunity to impress you as it did us. 👍

Love, love Galloway Grille and it was just as good as it was years ago! The Benedict was one of my favorites I've ever had! The pickled shallot makes it unique and adds a nice level of flavor. You're missing out if you've not been yet!

I don’t normally post reviews but this place absolutely deserves one. Every time I’ve been there the food and drinks have been amazing and the service is amazing. I 100% recommend trying one of their Bloody Mary’s and the Sticky Belly Burger (pictured)

This place is hard to beat and was only about a 1-2 minute walk from where I stayed. Had to wait a bit for my food since it wasn't posted online that they open now at 8AM and the grill wasn't fired up yet, but it was well worth it. Try the steak and eggs! Many thanks to Olivia for her incredible kindness. If I ever get back to EC will definitely stop again!

Such an amazing experience. Very family friendly. The waiter let us know immediately that he was a one-man band, which I appreciated and expected as that is the norm. The food was amazing. Hash browns perfectly crispy and my toddler ate my food, as well as the majority of the pancakes. 100/10 recommend. Can’t wait to try the other options on the menu!

Say it with me..Chopped Cheese, Chopped Cheese! Prettiest fries you will ever see with that flakey salt. So, tasty too. Washing it down with $3.00 Hamm’s from the sky blue waters is priceless.

The food was so divine that we couldn’t wait to take pictures we just dug right in! The trio of dips that were complementary were outstanding as well. I highly recommend the flan and the tres leches as dessert! ( the desserts are not pictured because we ate them too fast but they blew me away with the amazing taste.) 10/10 flan (i was genuinely thinking about going back and buying 14 more)

Decided to try this small Mexican restaurant and was very surprised at the speed of service, prices which are probably average and the amount of excellent food! Not packed full of rice, a winner for my taste. My opinion is this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've visited. Definitely worthy of a second visit.

Stopped by here for a late lunch on our way home to Minneapolis and had an excellent meal! The avocado salsa that's included with the chips and salsa was one of the best I've ever had and I wish I had thought to buy more before we left.

Great authentic tasting south of the border cuisine. I had the steak asada which I thought was excellent, and my wife had the steak fajitas that she also enjoyed. The service was good and like I said, the food was great, but they were a little stingy with the chips and salsa. They do not have hot sauces on the tables either. I will definitely like to try them again.

Still looking for some Carne Asada. Started off with chips, salsa, and the Flautas. The complimentary salsa was a trio and the red salsa was weird. It had a ceviche like taste, like there was too much acidic flavor from lime or something... I could not put my finger on it, but it was weird tasting. The flautas were different. I am use to a more tightly rolled flauta but these were loosely rolled and the chicken was subject a lot of oil. This left the meat a little drier than I would expect. They were tasty enough for me to finish off, but the wife was not happy with them. Added a lot of green salsa to them to make it edible. We also had a Chimichanga with the three sauces, added carne asada for the meat, rice and beans. The refried beans were delicious, ate those up, they nailed it. On the other hand the rice... the rice reminded me of Rice-A-Roni. It was not the fluffy rice like my Nana and aunties would make, but like the Rice-A-Roni my mom would make. It was also overly orange, not sure why, but the texture and flavor was just not right, for me or the wife. The chimi was disappointing for various reasons: 1) Green Bell Peppers... raw. Not sauteed, but raw. I have no idea what region puts raw green bell peppers in their chimis... confusing 2) The rice, again, as I did not find the rice appetizing, it was not helping the chimi as it was the base ingredient 3) Disappointing Carne Asada, perhaps we got steak instead of the carne we ordered, but it was flavorless grey meat 4) Sauces, the red and cheese sauce were nothing to write home about...the green sauce seems to be based on their green salsa, which was really good, but the other sauces were not The good: Green salsa, amazing. As well as the creamy green salsa, I liked that one too. We started with chips and dip and I was excited for the meal. Guacamole, well done, had fantastic flavor and we finished it off. Chips were not overly salted or oily, they were great and we would take home an order of chips and green salsa... which means we may like their nachos. If this is not a regional composition, then ignore this advice... fix the rice. Add more flavor to your carne asada, charge more if you have to, make it worth an upgrade. Highlight that green salsa, and perhaps the red salsa was not prepared correctly... if it was, then the audience for it is not me, and that is fine. The service was great, friendly and welcoming. The decor is amazingly colorful and there were families eating there. It felt welcoming. Thank you for the meal. If I am coming off as a jerk, then I am sorry, I just want to provide an honest review of how I experienced the meal I was served on a particular day.

Eating at Monks is always a positive experience for me. The food is fresh and consistently good, the staff is very friendly and on top of everything and the atmosphere is relaxed most days. I highly recommend the cauliflower bites appetizer!

We had Laura as a server she did an excellent job, and very friendly! Strawberry lemonade was very flavorful and good. As far as the food goes the burgers and fries were great, cheese curd definitely a top pick with the ranch dressing! The chicken wrap was delicious. The brisket sandwich was good but not very much meat for the price.

Had a quick dinner hear one night. Sat at the bar and the service was great. The bartender was prompt with my drink and got my order of cheese curds in right away. Food came out fast and again the bartender checked in on me. Love that you can order a half order of cheese curds here too!

Sat at the bar so seating was immediate. Bartender was fast and friendly. This is only my second time here. By far the best sandwich I have had in a long time. He got the pulled pork with coleslaw and BBQ sauce side. I got the el Cubano. And I must say it definitely made me do some happy dances. Messy in just the right way.

We had a great first experience here . The food we ordered was delicious and well prepared. The only thing I would add is more cucumbers with the amount of hummus given . We will be back

The food was great! Service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely a great location to catch some sports and enjoy some good food.

This was a nice stop on our Cheese Curd Crawl. The service was friendly, and the whole restaurant had a pleasant vibe. There were even funny quotes spaced out along the walls. We ordered the cheese curds (as necessary) along with the pretzel braid. Both were good and hit the spot nicely.

First off I must say the salsa was delicious. I don’t say this about many Mexican restaurants but the salsa here just had a wonderful flavor. My whole family was satisfied with their meals other than my brother but he didn’t know what to order so it’s not this places fault. I ordered a burrito called something Casa which tasted good. It came with rice and beans plus lettuce on top with some sauce. The rice and beans tasted great which for some reason many Mexican restaurants have not really good tasting rice. I feel like beans are hard to mess up but I’ve had some beans that weren’t the greatest. The photos attached are pictures of different meals we ordered. Plus some photos of inside the restaurant. This place seemed spot on. It looked clean and the waiter was nice. Overall this was a win for us. Would recommend giving this place a shot!

Decided to go dine out at Cancun because my significant other loves to channel her fake Mexican energy 😄 anyway the place as always was amazing one thing for sure their service and hospitality is very good and quick. Food was savory and hot and the drinks were refreshing. The vibes and tempo was excellent not noisy or too quite just right to engage in good conversation. I would recommend without a doubt if you seeking Mexican accent and food.

Ordered 2 nachos fajitas. One came as expected and the other came with half the amount of food and 2 pieces of steak in the entire dish. I did dig through it looking for meat. The second one was a thin layer of chips with almost no meat. I could see the plastic liner right through the food when i opened it. Not sure how a place could be this inconsistent and for $40+ I’ll never be going back. We have ordered here periodically for years and will be bringing our business elsewhere from now on. If you you are picking a place, go somewhere else.

First visit to Cancun Grill and the biggest thing that got my attention was the staff. Gracious kind and the kept the chips and salsa full, without asking. They have a full bar capable of making all kinds of cocktails and cold beer. The venue is quite clean, and no sticky floors Highly recommend and we will return.

We were able to be seated right away! The salsa, cheese dip, and chips were absolutely delicious! I got a steak burrito topped with cheese dip with rice and beans and everything tasted great! I also got a margarita with tajin on the rim that was good.

Their lunch specials at $7.99 are great. Quite a selection of many different choices. Waiter was a little hard to understand. Food was excellent. Margarita's were very good.

Went to Fuji Sushi and Steakhouse in Eau Claire today with a large party celebrating two birthdays. Our group kept growing, ending up with 18 guests. The host did a great job accommodating us, working with her team to secure two teppanyaki tables for lunch. While it took a little time, the experience was well worth it. The teppanyaki chefs put on a great show, making the meal both fun and engaging. The food was good—I originally tried to order lobster and steak instead of filet, but our server wasn’t able to accommodate. If you want variety, I’d recommend the steak and shrimp. The filet and lobster were tasty, though the portions were on the smaller side. The birthday celebration was a highlight! They give you a fun LED pink crown, sing to you, and serve a complimentary ice cream sundae. The host also went above and beyond by taking group pictures for us, which was a really nice touch. Overall, it was a great time while visiting from Arizona. Would definitely recommend for a fun hibachi experience!

We decided on Fuji to celebrate the end of Ramadan (Eid). We debated going because we didn’t think it would fit our vibe but how wrong were we. Me and my significant other was very surprised with the vibe and the excellent service from the point of entrance all the way to our server and cook. Our food was delicious, very tasty and flavorful. The vibe was nice and cozy and made feel very welcoming and comfortable. I would recommend this place without a doubt. #lifecoachcw @god_bless_the_real

We had a great time for my daughter's birthday! The service was fast and fun and they accommodated my shellfish allergy very well and overall was a pleasant evening out with the family.

The food is really good here, very professional staffs and amazing ambiance. I have yet to try the live kitchen (I forgot what it’s called) but I am really excited to try that!! I got California roll and gyoza and it was so good, couldn’t get much more because I was in a rush. Will definitely go back with a lot of time in hand! Also this is the only picture I had :(

Old, run down looking place. Went in and was bored silly and extremely underwhelmed with the Underwhelming food. Benihana seems like fine dining and Broadway entertainment compared to this dump. And that's saying something because Benihana is a isn't authentic. These people have a good menu. So I thought I was in for a real treat. And they placed me, my, date, and the only other non-white people at the same table. Weird. Your food just isn't good enough to justify and snobbery, and you're in desperate need of a physical makeover of the place. It's run down and outdated. So pick a struggle.

We had a great dinner and absolutely loved our server, Fury. We’ve had him before, and without a doubt, he is the best server we’ve ever come across. Thanks for the great food, the laughs, and an overall wonderful experience.

Stopped in at Hangar 54 for a quick lunch. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable. It was somewhat busy but our food came out quickly. Nice variety on the menu. I had a hard time deciding what to order as there were several things I wanted to try. Poutine was some of the best I’ve had! Fried pickles were bread and butter chips which was something I haven’t tried yet elsewhere. They were a little greasy but still tasted good. Overall great experience! We will definitely be stopping again. Highly recommend!

Fun location at the airport in Eau Claire, WI. Busy, fun location with full bar and view of runways. We had the poutine and pulled pork sandwich, nice to have a gluten free option with the bun.

Highly recommend the chicken poutine. The side of veggies were seasoned very well. They have a variety of wing flavors and a few slot machines. Service was quick and responsive. I can see how this place might be a little tricky for someone to find as it's IN the Chippewa airport.

Poutine. Oh, my! Of course with generous portions, leftovers came home with us. Our server was personable and attentive. If we are up this way again, we'll definitely stop!

A cool little place. The service was very good and the food was good. It is part of the Chippewa Airport but many of the guests were locals just there to eat.

Cheese curds were greasy, otherwise food was good. Hanger 54 could use a good cleaning. There was food on the wall, light fixtures and picture frames very dusty ( looks like they haven't been cleaned for a very long time). Thankfully we didn't need to use the salt and pepper shakers.

When we arrived, the host barely acknowledged us. Did not greet us, no eye contact, simply asked, "How many?" A simple "Good afternoon" would've gone a long way. He showed us to our table and walked away. Our waitress was MUCH better. FRIENDLY INFORMATIVE AVAILABLE!! The food was good, and the portion size was adequate. My question would be- Why no Sunday lunch specials? We dine out a lot on Sunday's after church, and most all have a lunch/breakfast special of some kind. With Red Lobster being expensive, we would've appreciated that. The portion size was great, and you never leave hungry!

The six of us were on our way to a fish trip in northern Minnesota and we stopped for the night at Eai Claire WI. and we had no doubt that we would have dinner at Red Lobster. We love the great atmosphere and friendly people working hard at the restaurant. A girl named Ceara was waiting on us. She was friendly, polite and very eager to serve us. She was great! We love Red Lobster! You are the Best!

My family and I have visited this location several times over the past two years, and to be candid, I was never overly eager to return. However, my 7-year-old son is a big fan of crab and continually asks to come here. After learning about the recent business changes, I decided to give the restaurant another try, and I’m glad we did. This experience was a noticeable improvement from our previous visits. The staff was attentive and professional, and the quality of the food has improved dramatically across the board. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, and enjoyable. If you haven’t visited this location since the transition, I would highly recommend giving it another chance. The difference is clear, and our family looks forward to returning.

Went to Red Lobster in Eau Claire for a nice dinner with family. They were able to accommodate us right away. We tried the Signature Seafood mushrooms. They were fantastic. Topped with crab and covered with ooey-gooey cheese. My girlfriend got the shrimp linguine alfredo and she really liked it. I tried the new shrimp and sausage jambalaya...extra spicy. I loved it! It was delicious and spicy hot as ordered! My brother got the Spend Less Trio which looked like it shouldve cost at least double what it was. A huge platter of shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini and fried shrimp with seasoned Chesapeake fries! Our server Dalton did an excellent job. He was very attentive and polite. We really appreciated his wonderful service! We will be back again soon!

Food was great & service was even better. I think her name was Noreen? She was very friendly & had a great listening ear. It wasn't very busy when I first arrived & while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive she chatted. She has great people skills & guest service was on point. Seems like this skill is getting fewer & farther in between anymore. Great job to Noreen for being super personable & very kind.💚

Cindy, the culinary manager, is above and beyond AMAZING. Grubhub didn’t pick up my order by the time they closed. When I called about it she offered to personally bring the order out to my house (which is like 20 miles in the country) after she was done with her shift. She was so nice and friendly and even thought it was not Red Lobster’s fault, she made up for GrubHubs mistake! Thank you Cindy!

Food, don’t order it. Sat at the bar to order some food and drinks on a Wednesday night, I ordered cheese curds and a chicken quesadilla with onions and tomatoes. My husband’s meal and my quesadilla came out and no cheese curds. Unfortunately olives are my least favorite topping and my quesadilla was full of olives. No discount offered and no apology from the kitchen on my quesadilla. The bartenders were very friendly. Good drinks fun place, don’t eat there.

Iv been going to the plus for year and always enjoy it. One thing iv been stressed about is not the acts, food, service but the lights for the stage and acts… The new stage is fine I guess but the party light and constant weird strobing directly in your face is boring and annoying. Venues spend all this time on everything else but forget one of the most important things… The Vibe! Get good lights for the artist and calm the strobe to the beat lights that flicker to every sound made on stage.

Bartender. A red haired woman was great, fas, friendly, & professional. I put 2 songs in at 10:34pm 10:36Pm. Ordered chicken wings, burger and fries. Along with amereto stone sour to dronk while waiting, Also, a mt dew with my food when arrives. Sang one song at 11:00pm. I did not sing till 12:37 or after. If I had not said something to tge bartender when I was paying for my food before I was leaving. Mean while I saw mt name and song get pushed back 5 10 30, 45, 60, 75 90, 120 minutes. while other regulars or friends got to sing 3, 4 or more times. As I had only sang 1 song. Very disappointed to be treated that way. I just kept eating and listening. It was 12:37 or after Before the bartender said anything to the DJ. I sang my song 2 song after. Then, left as I had told 4 others who were going to join me at the plus, to go for songs to sing at the 5'Oclock. I would meet them there instead. I left.

I’ve never left a google review before, but there were lies about service times, and the bartender was outright rude. Server was fine. But bartender first made the wrong drink and then proceeded to make rude comments toward us. Wasted over 2 hours lying about what was going to happen. Never again.

I have never been so disappointed in food in my entire life. The cheese bread was just stale bread with shredder cheese barely melted on top and the fries were cold and stale and the pizza looked like plastic

Came in on a spurt of the moment girls night looking for some food and were so glad the kitchen was still open at 10:30pm! Even happier to hear appetizers were 1/2 price while we were there! Great service and great food always brings us back in! Personal opinion, best cheese curds in the city! Also if you like jalapeno poppers, try the juan-tons they are to die for!

Food is ok, not exceptional. Great place to see a comedy show and the trivia nights are usually a blast. The back outdoor seating is perfect in the summer.

It was our first time trying this restaurant. My husband and I had reservations and showed up right on time. We were promptly seated and ended up leaving because we sat at our table for 25 minutes after our reservation time and not one waiter/hostess/staff member even came to our table to even ask if we wanted a water. I attempted to get the attention of anyone that was near by but nobody looked our way even once or even acknowledged that they saw us waiting for service. We decided to leave because a table directly behind us was seated and had the waiter to them within two minutes. I understand it is Valentines Day but it was not THAT busy, and even if it was, 25 minutes for NO service is absolutely unacceptable. It’s a shame too because it smelled wonderful and we were excited to try it. We did bring this to the attention of the manager as we left and they only asked if we wanted to try being seated at the bar.

Draganetti's is the absolute best Italian food! Authentic, flavorful, and delicious every single time! This visit I had the cheesy garlic bread with w/marinara and vegetarian pizza, both were on point, hot and delicious. The Cannoli are a must-try.

This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. $12 for an espresso martini with no espresso and middle of the road vodka. My wife had a lemon flavored martini for $11 that had black particles in it. Happy hour pricing was only available in the bar area, 10 ft away from where we were sitting. You're an Italian restaurant with only two types of noodles maybe three. My wife had two bites of a mushroom dish and said it was disgusting. Crunchy spinach, canned mushrooms, and over cooked noodles. You still charged us $23 for a dish we hated and didn't eat. My meatballs were fine but the marinara sauce was watery. It was a regrettable $70 spent and we will never be back.

Once you’ve had real Italian, you will know Draganetti’s just does not measure up. Smallish portions (Shrimp Linguini) unimaginative presentation. A plastic cup for my garlic butter. Paper napkins. I don’t think the bread was local made either. The tiramisu is, so sadly, is not made in house. As a Lyft driver, I would not recommend Draganneti’s to out of towners. It just not have the atmosphere or satisfaction deserving a $30 plate. Servers were very attentive and swore the tiramisu was delicious. I encouraged her to try real, fresh tiramisu and come to her own conclusion. Tried, won’t return.

Outstanding food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. You can buy their awesome tasting sauce to bring it home and make your own lasagna or spaghetti. It’s world class and worth every penny.
