Southeast Asian restaurant
Restaurant
Egg Roll Plus is a laid-back restaurant offering a variety of Asian cuisines such as Thai, Hmong, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes. Known for its crispy egg rolls, stir fry options, and Pho, this take-out only spot is perfect for enjoying a meal at the nearby Phoenix Park overlooking the Chippewa River. Located close to Ager House, it's praised for its flavorful Asian fare. Customers love the cream cheese rangoons and chicken fried rice.
Went for lunch. Self serve dine in but service is still wonderful, they still helped to clean our table. Got chicken pad thai, pho, vermicelli beef salad, chicken wings for the kid, and papaya salad lao style. Delicious, my favorite pad thai place. Tables are a little too close together for my liking.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An Absolute Gem — A Must-Try! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family — and it only got better from there. This family-owned spot truly knows how to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of charm, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Now the food... wow. Every dish is packed with flavor, clearly made with love and quality ingredients. The portions are generous, and you leave feeling full and satisfied — no tiny plates here! Whether it was the perfectly seasoned entrees, the comforting sides, or the sweet touches in their desserts, every bite was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it makes a huge difference. It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers your name and your favorite dish. If you're looking for great food, great service, and a place that treats you like family, this is it. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I have been coming here for the last 2 years of my life and have never been disappointed. Egg rolls are always fresh and hot, service is always kind and welcoming. Additionally the boba is amazing along with all other food I have tried so far. A great local spot I will always come back to.

Spring rolls are huge and egg rolls are awesome. We both got stir-fry and we had huge potions . We both took half our meal home with us . They have a service counter to order and a service station to put your dishes in when done .

Fast friendly service as always. Wonderful cream cheese wontons and egg rolls

Favorite place in the state for Pho! Never ordered anything we didn't love. Friendly awesome staff. If I'm anywhere near Eau Claire I find a way to stop by and enjoy a big delicious bowl of Pho.
Carl O — Google review
Definition of a hidden gem! Considerate service and tasteful food! Will go back.
Amber C — Google review
I haven't lived in Wisconsin for over 10 years but I always make a point of stopping by when I'm back visiting family. The combination pho and Lao-style papaya salad were my favorites and I always appreciated when the older gentleman would bring extra napkins when I would order my papaya salad Lao-spicy. I really miss this place and it is what I compare all Hmong/Lao/Vietnamese restaurants against when visiting for the first time. I've found some that come close but none that match.

Restaurant
Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant is a charming eatery offering comforting, homemade breakfast options. This delightful cafe in Eau Claire is both relaxed and tasty, serving up delectable pancakes, omelets, and exceptional hashbrowns at affordable prices. The restaurant has a quaint appeal and embodies the essence of a cozy hometown establishment.
They were so sweet, it had a small town atmosphere which is hard to find in Eau Claire!!
Gracie B — Google review
My hubs and I stopped here to grab a quick bite. We were automatically seated even though it was busy which was nice. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a side salad and my hubs got the Philly cheese with fries. Both of the sammies were really good. Service was also pretty good. I gave this a 4 star because the salad was so basic. It was a hand full of the mixed lettuce you get in the grocery store in a bowl. No croutons, no cheese, no toms. It looked like their breakfast would be good too with big pancakes.
Lauren B — Google review
The atmosphere is one of a kind with cute novelty items everywhere. the staff and owners made you feel like you were part of their family. And the food was flawless and delicious. Made to order everything was fresh.

Delicious! Had the 2 piece fish with toast, hash browns & a cup of soup! Everything was amazing! Huge pieces of fish, perfectly crispy never frozen hashbrowns & made from scratch dill pickle soup! Will definitely be back to try more in the menu! 👍

Excellent food. Super great service. Awesome atmosphere. The local family that owns it truly deserve ALL the support we can give them!

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

Talk about great experience, great food and fantastic ownership. I can’t say enough about this place. If your driving through and visit eau claire you need to make sure you skip the big chains and give this family breakfast a try!

The food is awesome. Portion sizes are large; you definitely won’t leave hungry! Service has been great every time, food is a great value, and it’s a very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!

Cocktail bar
Bar
Event venue
The Lakely is a popular dining spot in Eau Claire, known for its regional American comfort food and craft cocktails. Located within the Oxbow Hotel, this restaurant offers an exquisite farm-to-table dining experience with live music, making it a top recommendation among locals. The reasonably priced menu features modern Midwest comfort food made with locally sourced ingredients.
Husband and I went here on a Tuesday night, on a whim, having had dinner elsewhere and wanting dessert and mocktails. We knew there may not be dessert, but we asked the waitress, and she had the courtesy to check with the chef. She came back and said they happened to have their pastry chef preparing to debut a dessert for that week and would we like to be the first to try it. We said yes, and the chef himself came out to serve it to us and explain it: a chocolate flourless tort with berry sauce, orange-infused whipped cream, and an Amish-style cashew and pistachio brittle with cayenne pepper. We started nibbling each component and then realized that this dessert was very well-contrived, as each element makes you seek the next. The salty sweet brittle leads to a smoky heat that is perfectly complimented by a bite of the dark chocolate and a swipe of the whipped cream. Lovely. Not too heavy, not too rich. The kind of dessert that is memorable and that you savor while you eat it. We were asked directly by the chef what we thought about it and we were able to give him our compliments. It was just a lovely experience. I would like to come back for dinner on a Friday or Saturday when they have live music.
Libby T — Google review
We stayed at the Oxbow and decided that we would try eating at the Lakely that evening. They had a jazz ensemble that that was a bonus. Unfortunately, it was not the experience that we were hoping for. Got there about 9:00 on a Saturday night. Plenty of open tables and we got seated right away. Then things went downhill from there. Our server took a while to acknowledge us, and get to our table. They took our drink order, and said they would be back with waters. 10 minutes laters she came for our food order. We ordered several different items. She came back in little while later and said that they were out of two items. So we changed our order. Then she came back again and said that they were out of those two items. So we changed our order again. Then we waited. No waters, no drinks. At that point I went to the bar and told someone else that we were waiting for our items, and that our server might be having difficulty. We then relocated outside where it was a little more quiet, and we could talk. The rest of the service was provided by both the original server and the additional one (thanks Caroline). The food was a mix of good, and okay. Since we ended up settling on items that they still had. Cheese Curds, Burger and Wings were good. The Chorizo Tacos were just okay. Seems like the servers need better training or more help. Not sure I would want to eat here in the future. ps - The stay at the Oxbow Hotel was nice.

Love the vibes here!! Honestly probably my favorite place to dine and work. Everything on the menu is superb. Small app to Entrées + Desserts!! Definitely upscale. Great for a first date or a reunion! Live music on Friday and Saturday! Come check us out!!
Addison G — Google review
Very small but interesting menu. We all found the appetizers and drinks amazing, but food needs a bit more seasoning or a kick, especially because it was well cooked and prepared! The atmosphere and service were amazing!
Alyona C — Google review
I came for fish fry Friday and had a lovely cod dinner with The Grampa version of the Old Fashioned. The environment here is picturesque of a groovy jazz downtown environment and the live music started at 7pm which was perfect. The fish fry feedback: I had it fried and it was a little salty but still delicious. I would suggest that a few lemon wedges are served so a person could do use their fish in lemon if that's the preference. Or, cut back in the salt. The fry was really yummy! The coleslaw I prefer with celery seed or a little more apple cider vinegar, I guess it's preference but it seemed a little too sweet and flat but, it was still tasty. The Grampa is a hit as a cocktail. The presentation is a winner here.
Cynthia P — Google review
Confusing and frustrating experience for allergies. We had hoped that our meal would be easy to accommodate because the menu had a lot of clear labeling, however there was so much uncertainty and contradiction about was in the food or preparation. For example, normally aioli should not have dairy in it. Yet in describing the preparation the chef said that “today” it wasn’t made with dairy, but the preparation included a “ranch packet” — which has dairy!? The sauce for another meal had no gluten, except it was made with soy sauce — which typically has gluten. The chef explained that it was “cooked off”. It doesn’t work like that. They really wanted to be accommodating and their concern was genuine. We just lost all confidence because knowledge wasn’t there. They were also really slow — possibly understaffed
Scott T — Google review
This is our second time at The Lakely. We didn't have food, only drinks. They had a jazz band, and it was actually a very good band. All young, talented, promising musicians from Eau Claire. They do live music every Friday as well some other days, too. Would love to try again next time.
Janine — Google review
Started out with the bone marrow appetizer. Wonderful, my favorite part of the meal! Then we ordered the quinoa and garlic cakes with sprouts and lemon dijon sauce, and pheasant roasted garlic vegetables and black walnut cream sauce. Chased with Wisco ginger ale and a sour beer. EXCELLENT! Great service too.

Nestled on Water Street, Ray's Place has been a beloved dive bar since 1949, making it a cherished part of Eau Claire’s culinary landscape. Known for its mouthwatering Hot Beef Sandwiches served fresh around the clock, this spot is often hailed as a must-visit by locals and visitors alike. If beef isn’t your preference, fear not—Ray's also serves up delicious Hot Ham Sandwiches and homemade pea and bean soups that have garnered rave reviews.
Great little bar that serves pea soup, bean soup, beef sandwiches, and ham sandwiches. The soup isn't as good as good as I can make at home, but it is 100 times better than anything you can buy in a grocery store.
Keith L — Google review
Ray's Place is a pretty solid dive bar. I visited with a friend on a road trip which passed through Eau Claire since she had heard their roast beef sandwiches were famous. We actually ended up trying the hot ham sandwich upon recommendation from another patron, and I thought this sandwich was pretty average overall but fairly priced. As you might expect it was messy, but I liked it with the raw onions as this provided a nice contrast of texture with their crunch. I also enjoyed the mustard and thought it was quite interesting—it’s very spicy, like a horseradish mustard sauce. Otherwise, the bun, cheese, and ham were fairly middling. The staff here were super nice and definitely made the experience a positive one. I also appreciated that they chill their beer mugs in the freezer before pouring. The atmosphere is a classic dive bar setting. Overall, I think this is probably a solid spot if you're a local and would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable meal and a beer!
Allie H — Google review
Classic local dive bar that been around since ‘49. I had the hot ham and cheese, tried the hot beef and split pea soup. Everything was way over salted, and I like salt on my food. I couldn’t eat the split pea soup as it was so salty. Good prices and portions. Very small plate is provided, more like a large coaster for the messy sandwich. The beef has some sort of gravey that makes the sandwich mushy and soaks through the bun. This place has a nice atmosphere, and I’m sure many have locals have fond memories. However, for such a small menu, food is pretty bad. I think the hot beef/ham might be slightly better served open faced. Very nice bar, but the food is subpar. Do not recommend.
Scott E — Google review
Super easy going dive bar with the best sandwiches! I had the Ham and cheese and it was awesome! I tried the beef and WOW so good. Definitely a dive place with a diamond inside! I can't wait to go back!
Bella F — Google review
Came here to try the hot beef sandwich and saw they had daily soup. Small while in the wall bar with a few tables. Even though we my minor (17) sat at the bar. Was ignored by bartender lady at first and man. Was going to walk out till she offhand said -Can I help you with something? Yes we'd like a menu please. -Sign is in the way back with food on the menu. Since I saw online there was soup and sandwich option. what kind of soup do you have today? -split pea n ham Ok I'll take 2 hot beefs and one split pea. Also a bloody Mary and DR pepper please. To go but we'll eat it here. -k Then the man says - IDs, he didn't ask other people in the bar. Told him she's a minor. -He right away tells me she can't be in here. I said ok I'll just take our food and we'll eat on the patio area before we leave. Since I ordered a bloody Mary. Which was delicious. They gave me paper bag and two messy sandwiches in wrapped wax paper. The soup was mostly runny broth with only two tiny pieces of ham and no peas. I had to go back in and get ignored for other people first just to get some silverware. Had to ask for the hot mustard that they say they offer. Sandwiches were good, I knew they would be messy so not the issue. Just felt uncomfortable being there. When I came back in and I was waiting for the silverware looked over and some older patrons were sitting at some tables with their two 6 and 8 years old children eating etc. They must only allow 50 - 60 years old to sit inside? It's fine. But if they want to keep getting business after their regulars aren't around anymore, probably should get a new friendly bartender and not shoo customers away. Price seemed high for watery bottom of the barrel soup.

Bar & grill
Amber Inn Bar & Grill is a traditional local establishment, founded in 1881, known for its classic pub food and long bar with an ATM. This historic dive bar features wood paneling and various neon signs. The menu offers a range of pub fare such as wings, sandwiches, and wraps. Visitors have mentioned that the atmosphere is laid-back and they appreciate the historical value of the place.
A great place to get a 1/2 pound burger. One of the oldest bars in the area (late 1800s) this place also has great food. This used to be a regular tavern for loggers, and then manufacturers including the late Uniroyal factory. Locally sourced beef is used for their burgers. I had the peanut butter with bacon, and garlic cheese curds-both wonderful. Delicious. Also, some great German beer on tap you don’t see a lot or places. Highly recommend this classic tavern!
Scott E — Google review
Pretty great little spot to have a beer and a burger. Plenty of seating and gaming. Friendly service and neat atmosphere.
Grant D — Google review
Burger wasn't bad, worst part about it was that the mushrooms were from a can! Fries were great! Bartender was new, didn't know how to make my drink...but he was very nice and polite!
Michael K — Google review
Fabulous burgers (try the breakfast burger). Prices were reasonable for the large portion size. You need to serve yourself at the bar. Bartender was accommodating and professional. Drinks were reasonably prices (soda water was a bit flat though). Would definitely return. Very neat decorations are on the walls. Our table was super sticky despite being wiped off (perhaps need a refinish on the table top?).
Mister J — Google review
Reuben burger was huge and very tasty. I may lose my burger badge for saying this but I ended up finishing it with a knife and fork because it was so large (and messy). Service was on the slow side since we arrived around 1pm but there were few other patrons ordering at the time. I guess it was worth the wait.
Jason A — Google review
Oldest operating bar in the area. Not too busy on a Saturday night during Labor day weekend. Ample seating available. Typical bar food. They are known for their hamburgers but the turkey sandwich was very good. Friendly bartenders.

Must try for the burgers & the tap beers (good selection)! Had the Hawaiian & some portabella fries. Definitely a bit of a dive bar time capsule in there!

Map To Your Appetite Score: 80/100 Appearance and Atmosphere 11/15: Price 14/15: Service 20/20: Food and Drink 35/50: General Comments: Being one of the oldest and original bars in all of Eau Claire, the Amber Inn seemed like the perfect place to start my reviews for Map To Your Appetite. The Amber Inn was apparently founded in 1881 and the same family have been running it ever since. I have to admit I had been to this place one time before, but I only tried one thing on the menu. This time I decided to go for the full experience. Looking from the outside, it looks like your stereotypical dive bar, a rugged exterior, a half lit sign, and no where to park. Yet, when I walked in I was completely shocked. It is of the most humble and well furbished bars in the entire city. Considering that it is so old, it was amazing how much was actually new and updated. However, it still managed to have that old classic feel, not the worn out classic, but like a nice ‘66 Chevrolet classic. Even though the bar is almost 100 years older than that. After the initial shock wore off, I looked around and saw the bar standards; dim lighting, a pub Style Grill, a couple of televisions, and a place to bet some money, but one of the things that stuck out the most was the “place order here” sign. I thought it was kind of humorous that even if you sat at a booth across the room with a menu and every intention of ordering, you had to get up and order it yourself. It really conveys the “we’ve been around so long we’re not doing extra work to make you happy and if you don’t like it you don’t have to order” mentality that seems to come with all walks of aging. Now they do bring the food out to you, but I thought it a little funny and kind of quirky that as a customer you're expected to go and order the food for yourself. The food came out surprisingly quick, even though we had shown up about 10 minutes after happy hour. Our appetizers came out in about 10 minutes and our entrees came out 20min after that. Just enough time to enjoy my wings and crisp beer. Now, I could sit here for days and compare it to other pubs and bars in Eau Claire but that's not really the point of this. In my opinion the food was exactly what you’d expect, but a little simpler that most.. The food was pub food, with a couple unique items, and nothing that I would personally drive out of my way for, but if anybody hasn't been here before, you absolutely must stop in and at least have a couple drinks, talk to the lovely ladies behind the bar, and take a picture of this comfortingly old classic, and maybe soak in some of what has kept them running for so long.

Amazing food that's moderately priced. I had the meat lovers skillet and my husband had the country omelette. The portion sizes are extremely generous! Bring your appetite! The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is casual. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's one of the best in the area.

Wonderful place to eat breakfast and probably more as well. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, 22 yrs, and decided to have breakfast at Altoona Family restaurant. We came in and quickly an older gentleman waved us over and asked how many in our group, we said 2 and we were seating in less than a minute. Then their kind staff took over and we had Wonderful service. I ordered a classic omelette with hash browns and wheat toast, try their homemade jam, outstanding! My wife ordered pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage links. We both couldn't finish it all, great portions and delicious food! I did have the fresh squeezed orange juice, it was great! Nothing but compliments to everyone who made our little breakfast a treasure. Aaron

Flavourful. Food is like a wonderful home cooked meal. Service was good , server was lovely and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was welcoming. They definitely have returning customers ( regulars) which was wonderful to see , being called by name and noticed. Visiting from Texas and this place is amazing. It had a large variety of menu items. For this visit I stayed on the breakfast side of things. From skillets to omelettes you have so many choices when you come here. We had the country omelette which was cheesy and amazing. The hash browns were like any other restaurant and had the right amount of crisp to them. One of my kids had the California skillet which he devoured. My other child had a waffle covered in berries and whip cream. My wife saw huevos rancheros which she said was not Texas but they were really good.

The wait staff and food are great. They are so friendly and attentive. I was asked by different waitresses who saw me and asked as they were walking towards the back or front if I needed anything. They aren't trying to rush you they are just making sure you have everything. Breakfast is served during all open hours. So, there was something for everyone. Would eat here again.

The food is always amazing, I completely understand why it's always busy! I love (most) of the waitresses I have when I go, and have never had a bad experience with one. The atmosphere is loud sometimes, like a usual restaurant space.

Great diner experience! We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was fast, food excellent. Restaurant
Randy's Family Restaurant is a beloved spot in Eau Claire, WI that has been serving up classic American dishes for over 60 years. The restaurant is known for its generous portions of homemade comfort food, including breakfast staples and hearty mains. Locals rave about the perfectly crispy hash browns, hot roast beef sandwich, chicken dumpling soup, and crispy chicken honey mustard salad. One standout feature is the complimentary cup of warm vanilla pudding offered to diners upon seating.
Love breakfast place like this. Very friendly staffs. Got a table quick on Saturday morning at 7am. Huge menu selection. Had to rush so didn’t get picture of food. Ordered the Hungry Man to split with my daughter and the staff said it the same as the half hungry man so she suggested to do that so we can customize our order. The pancake was huge and delicious. They also have pies too. Had to get a Strawberry Mango slice. Yum! Seems like lots of local frequent there. Love that they play worship songs in the background. Praise God!

Good food. Their famous chicken dumpling soup was good. We also ordered the turkey melt and eggs and hash browns - the typical diner food. They have a lot of baked goods but we were too full to get anything else. $37 total with tips.

Awesome atmosphere. Awesome servers. Chicken gizzards are perfect! Pancakes were mid (a bit too thick for my taste.) hash browns were oilier than what I prefer. The coffee though.... Damm! Cinnamon hazelnut was fantastic!

Wow, I hadn't been here in years and what an upgrade. The menu is huge and the food was fantastic. I had a salad with soup and a mini loaf of bread. My cousin had a caramel roll the size of a dinner roll. The waitress was friendly and attentive. On the way out I purchased a 3-pack of peanut butter cookies. Tasted just like homemade. I cannot wait to go back and try some other menu items?

Food was incredible and a good price! Coffee was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised that they had multiple different choices for pancakes including chocolate chip, blueberry, cinnamon apple, etc. Great atmosphere! Lots of great choices to pick from! Love it!

Went here for breakfast. Food that we ordered didnt match what the menu showed. The pancakes are aweful and so was the bacon. The staff dont seem to care what you think. 40 dollar breakfast for two and wow disappointed. Oh and dont get the cinnamon roll either. Uck

Randy's Family Restaurant offers a diverse menu and exceptional service. The coffee is delightful, and their patty melt is a standout—perfectly cooked and flavorful. A great spot for any meal!

Randy’s was packed when my husband and I stopped in. We were able to be seated quickly within 5 minutes. We started with the curds and they were delicious if not slightly overdone. I got the crispy chicken sandwich in original and it was good, but there could have been more seasoning. My side salad didn’t have frills but some of the lettuce was a bad. My husband got the Reuben which he liked. The fries were delicious. I will definitely try Randy’s again. Service was great, very attentive and they brought around a sample of warm vanilla pudding when we sat down.

The Informalist is a chic restaurant located in downtown, known for its seasonal small plates, wood-fired pizza, and creative cocktails. Despite its initial flashy launch, it has evolved into a more relaxed hotel canteen situated on the ground floor of The Lismore. This farm-to-table spot offers brunch classics with a local twist and woodfired pizzas on cauliflower crust. The design-forward space exudes attention to detail while maintaining a laid-back vibe.
Hubby and I came here for dessert to celebrate my birthday and (as usual) this place is fabulous! I love the decor. There is always something beautiful to admire. The service is casual and top-notch all at once. We love their food, but we ordered their gluten-free butterscotch creme Brule and a couple of drinks. The pudding was divine and the perfect size to share and enjoy! Give this place a look: the gluten-free items and accommodations are awesome, and the people are lovely. Perfect date!!

Lovely upscale dining experience. Our party’s selection covered the Informalist’s touted speciality, wood-fired pizza, a cheeseburger with French fries and garlic aioli, a ribeye steak, and gnocchi. Everyone was quite happy with their selection. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was sublime!

The only right words...we loved it. Wasn't expecting a hotel to have a terrific restaurant. We were so wrong. I would go here even if I wasnt staying at the hotel. We shared the steak, and ate every it. The sauce with it was sooo good. Make reservations for the word is getting out.

Great location, great atmosphere. I’ve visited EC several times and have always wanted to come. On a weekend morning, there weren’t many servers, and although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, it still felt quite busy. I ordered brunch and a Margherita pizza. The food was delicious, but there were a few flaws, like the eggs Benedict being overcooked, with no runny yolk at all.
Grace G — Google review
The style and atmosphere were really good! Our server also did a good job. However, the food is not worth the price point. The plating and atmosphere are fancy, but the actual food was just kind of...fine? My gnocchi tasted only of cheese and onion. The walleye my partner had was, in their words, "insignificant. Protein and tomato." The dessert we had was very heavy on the lemon. Overall just kind of a meh experience at a high price point. As a plus, open on Sundays!

Went with a group of close work colleagues and family for a special outing. A few members of the group had previously went for brunch and had a great experience so our heads were high. When greeted by the hostess we were told about the specialty pizza, and was told around 15-20 minutes for it, so naturally me, and another ordered it. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:20ish and had our drinks in likely by 5:35 max. It was not until 6:30 at least. My margarita pizza’s cheese was burnt to oblivion. The duck breast ordered was cold on the inside, as well as the ribeye which was ice cold in the middle, which was ordered medium rare. (I will note I did not make the pizza aware to the manager as I did not notice the quality until comparing it with my family members pizza, who’s was correctly cooked.) After making this all clear the manager came out only to blow off it all off because a 12 top came in and got their order right before us. And claimed the duck was cold due to the toppings, which is not only incorrect as the middle was cold, but shady operating as a manager to incorrectly give paying patrons about the food they are ingesting. Thankfully the steak was heated up, unfortunately after this experience though I would not doubt if it was microwaved. Overall a poor display of cooking, serving, and managing.
Stephen M — Google review
Nice atmosphere. Austen was a great server. The two of us ordered the Ribeye. Both steaks were horrible. Loaded with fat and what seemed like muscle. Disappointed. I’d go back but not have the steak.

Joe introduced me to a fine Bourbon called Angel's Envy. I made it into the Informalist thanks to Molly's recommendation- it was the just right prompt. "Everyday I walked by without giving it a try- after having a relaxing drink and a slice of pie....I can't tell you why." Love the atmosphere for a relaxing adult evening in a vibrant Downtown. I added spicy honey to the banana jamma pizza 🍕 😋 😍 I highly recommend 👌 you stop in for a drink and experience the penny bar first hand.

6-2-24 My party ordered several different dishes and all were delicious. I loved the pea soup and bratwurst burger. Had a super sweet waitress. There is an outdoor patio as well. A really comfortable friendly bar & grill. The Oreo cheesecake was Phenomenal! Top of my Best list! Plus excellent libations.

Two years ago I gave 4 stars, today is an easy 5 stars for everything. Food was very good, service was exceptional. The bathrooms were immaculate. The back room looks very historic. I think the back room is used for overflow and perhaps meetings. We all had very delicious burgers. Give it a try.

Our first visit and we will definitely be going back again. We ordered a pizza burger (think grade school flavor!), California burger, and crispy chicken sandwich. Fries and waffle fries. With Court n House ranch - a must. My biggest complaint would be the grease smell if you're sitting near the kitchen. Thursdays are Two for One burgers and what a great special it is!

First visit. We had a steak sandwich and it was very tasty. Most delicious cheese curds we ever tried, absolutely recommend it with their ranch. Workers were super nice!

Stopped in after searching for places to eat near me. Good reviews, so our family stopped. I ordered the June special, Hawaiian Chicken and Waffle fries! Sandwich was good. I would have preferred a slice of Pineapple than chunks falling out! But it was good. Now the Waffle fries...Chick-fil-a, watch out! Great tasting fries!!! They also had homemade chips that were also a big hit! If I'm in the area again, I will go back!

Great place, I would say hidden jewel down town, off the beaten path, not big box franchise food. Just really good pub food with a relaxed scene. It might be described as a sports bar, I'm not sure, when I have been there it's laid back. The pizza is awesome, great garlic cheese curds, tater kegs are yummy, fish is very good. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. Outside dining was available, but we did have to chase flies off the food, it didn't ruin the experience but was a slight pain. Inside dining is great. Bathrooms are clean.

This was my first visit to this establishment. It was Monday, Labor Day, around 130pm. I had a cheeseburger and waffle fries. The food was good. The waitress was not the quickest with anything, but I would return to eat again.

The service was decent. This place is probably known most for their burgers. We went with the Friday fish special and regret it. The fish was overcooked/burnt and the fries were a bit droopy. They had also absorbed the taste of whatever else had shared the fryer. The meal did not sit well with our stomachs. The overall atmosphere is what you'd expect from a cozy Wisconsin dive.

Olympic Flame is a Greek-American diner that offers a variety of delicious dishes such as gyros, salads, and other traditional Greek eats. Customers have expressed their satisfaction with the food, stating that it is incredibly tasty and they plan on returning multiple times. The menu includes options like regular gyros, chicken gyros, fries, drinks, and baklava for dessert at a reasonable price. The portion sizes are generous enough to share between two people or take leftovers home.
This is definitely one of my Eau Claire favorites. Their gyros are delicious, served fresh and with a generous serving size. I also can’t help but order a side of Greek fries with every meal.

The food was great, if you want a decent sized gyro, this is the place. They brought a whole plate of gyro meat with the pita bread, the Greek salad was also fresh and delicious, all generous portion sizes! Oh also - they have lots of booths! 👏🏼

The food can not be better! Fresh, flavoursome, well made, just great. Don't get fooled by the unpretentious look of the place. The food is amazing and not expensive. You will miss out if you don't try it. My photos don't make it justice. We had the Gyro soup, Gyro plate, Greek salad, Greek fries, and the bruscheta.... Did I mention the out of this world Pita bread!?!

Been here many times over the years but admittedly it’s been awhile at this point so it felt new. Pictured is the gyro dinner with fries and Greek beer, really hit the spot. Opa! There is a lot here to enjoy including falafel, baklava, Greek soup and salad and more. Overall enjoyed the meal and still good prices after all these years. Highly recommended
Hank Z — Google review
The food is okay, but I’m giving one star because of a serious issue with my order. I picked up two orders of falafel, and unfortunately, the hot food was placed in plastic containers that clearly couldn’t handle the heat. The plastic started to melt, and there’s a strong possibility it mixed with the food. This is completely unacceptable—how can anyone eat food potentially contaminated with melted plastic? We had no choice but to throw it away. I called customer service to report the issue, and their response was even more frustrating. They claimed that I had asked for the falafel to be "well done," but that doesn’t justify using containers that can’t withstand high temperatures. Just because food is cooked more thoroughly doesn't mean it should be placed in packaging that melts. This shows a lack of basic food safety standards.

I had a combo plate with a spinach pie and a small gyro. Absolutely delicious! The restaurant is newly updated and has a pleasant atmosphere. It's a great place to have a quiet conversation. I will return soon.
Sue H — Google review
Soooo good!!! First time here and definitely will be back many more times. We got a regular Gyro, chicken Gyro, 2 orders of fries 2 drinks and a baklava. Came out to $35 which is a good price for a date including a dessert. Fry orders were big enough we could have shared 1 order between us. We were both filled up to the brim and had to take food home. Can't stop raving about how good this was. Food came out very quick but you could tell it was fresh made, not sitting in warming trays like fast food places. The baklava is a really good size, big enough to share as it is very sweet.. and you won't need the whole thing to yourself.

This is a cool redone bar/grill in downtown Eau Claire. We went with friends (there was 4 of us) and had a rez. We got 3 different apps, Brussel sprouts, cheese curds, and pretzel bites. All of the apps were tasty but came out lukewarm. I got one of the bowls and it was pretty good. Everyone else said their food was enjoyable. It was nice in a town that has so much fried food offerings, this place had some options for healthier food. The thing that got us here was the service. We had a REZ, and within about 30 mins of sitting (ordered drinks and apps), our server comes up and starts talking about the next reservation. Which at that point was like an hour away. She was trying to say like we needed to hurry up and go ahead and order bc they had full tables that night. It was SO awkward and weird she was telling all of this. I asked if there was a time limit on the tables (in some places it’s like 2 hours), and she said no? We were all nice about it but were put off by the whole interaction. We never saw her again, but another server took over and pretty much hurried us through ordering and getting our food. When she dropped the bill, she mentioned the next reservation was now there. Your poor lack of planning does not dictate my need to hurry through my experience. And again we had only been there for like an hour and a half. I would try it again bc the food was pretty good but the service needs a revamp or training… or they need to figure out how to do reservations.

In downtown Eau Claire on a Monday and we were looking for a place for lunch— neither my partner nor I had ever been to The District but decided to give them a try. We were greeted and seated quickly and our server Michael was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fine— quiet enough for a conversation (we were the only ones seated downstairs) but nothing to get excited over. They did also have the air on as it was very hot out and the temp inside was comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to see a lunch menu! I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and my partner chose the BBQ Korean tacos with tofu. We also decided to share onion rings as our side as the menu said they were the best in town and I’m a lover of good onion rings. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and it was hot. I was a bit surprised when my chicken sandwich came to see that it was a slider— I did not remember seeing it written that way on the menu. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good sandwich. It had spice to it but I wouldn’t say it was hot. The pickles and slaw balanced the flavors. My partner thought his tacos were okay— he would have liked more crisp uses on his tofu and he thought the flavors were not particularly interesting. I had high hopes for the onion rings that were voted best in town, but we were disappointed. I will say that the onion rings were generously sized but the batter was lacking flavor (salt needed!!) and were quite greasy. Our experience at The District was okay and we will probably give them another chance at some point, but the food was just that for us— okay.

Pleasantly surprised there was so much to pick from. Got the dream smash burger, that was great. The brussel sprouts were also really good too. My partner got the Texan which he said he liked, and my son said his Mac and cheese was "bomb"! 😅 Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the variety 90s music that was playing. We got to sit at a table right by the window on the street, so it was a pleasant experience. Menus for adults and kids! Kids menus are very reasonably priced.

We had a delicious lunch here. Amazing variety of beers, and my husband enjoyed his cocktail. The pizza fries appetizer was delicious! They can sub a black bean patty for any of their burgers. I got the "big dill" burger with the black bean patty and no bacon and it was delicious. My husband got the caprese burger and loved it. We had the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was absolutely the best I have had! Service was really good. Excellent dining experience.

Such a cute place! Love the laid back atmosphere! It’s a bit of a self service restaurant in that you order first, choose a table, grab your own utensils, sauces (ketchup, jam, etc), and water. They give you a number to bring with you to your table and they will bring out your food. If you order any drinks they will make it and call out the drink order for you to pick up. Their menu is fairly large and has a very unique variety. If we lived closer this would definitely become one of our go to spots!

My wife and I have been coming here for years, it is sad to see that the food has declined over the last couple years. Even today, we went in and my wife got a brisket hash with eggs and it was lacking pretty much any brisket. Even my breakfast sandwich was mostly bread and cheese, not much egg and a small sausage patty. It feels like French Press has been cutting corners in the last year across the board with food they offer, even though they charge the same but offer less. I still enjoy French Press for their coffee and atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend getting food here.

I also tried the maple blueberry cold foam which was amazing and the gluten free pancakes were great! The atmosphere was great and kid friendly for sure. They are busy but there is ample seating available. We had a relatively large group but found a place to sit right away. There is seating available outside as well for when the weather is kind. The food is good but we return to this place for the friendly and prompt service. Staff are amazing and helpful and always have a smile on their face. It is not too loud but enough background chatter to give it a very cozy feeling when you are dining in.

Maybe not THAT grand… The short trip to Eau Claire was coming to a close and I needed some food before I hit the road home. Around the corner from where Tim lives is a cafe he’s been to a few times. We took the short stroll there to get some breakfast and coffee in us. We popped in after the major breakfast crowd and before the lunch crowd made the small cafe packed. We took a seat towards the front by the window so we could get some natural light to go with our meal. Our waitress was a hoot. She was professional but really chatty and we all quickly got on the topic of horror movies, spooky things, and the love for reading. I got the house coffee with a biscotti stick to go with it. Tim got a latte thing. The waitress forgot my biscotti but quickly brought it over when I asked her about it. As for our meal, I ordered just the french toast and Tim got a full course meal. I wanted to eat somewhat light as I had the long drive but… when I say I got french toast… it was the most basic two slices of french toast I’ve ever had. It ended up tasting decent but for $8.49, it just felt like it needed to some with a side of protein or eggs or something. Tim said his The Grand Gatsby and Bread Pudding was good, even if he doesn’t care for Mango, which is what his Bread Pudding flavor was. The biscotti was really good, even better dipped in the coffee. The coffee itself was your typical drip coffee that you’d find across the country. Not great but not bad. It served it purpose. While it was a bit of a letdown that my last meal before heading home was less than stellar but the memories made at the cafe (and the whole trip) are one you can’t put a rating on. With that in mind, if we visit here again in 2025, I will definitely get a more substantial meal than two meager slices of french toast.

Vanilla Italian cream soda. Chicken and wild rice is truly excellent, served with a BLT and pickle 💕 phenomenal Pina colada bread pudding in the center and breakfast and iced latte for my partner. Wanted to try a new place on a whim. Will get the good out of the way, cute decor and atmosphere, food smelled really good in there. That's it. When I approached the counter the worker gave me the Gen Z stare. No "hi", "welcome", "what can I get for you?". Just stared blinking at me silently until I started ordering. Yes, yes, we all hate our jobs, especially customer service. But you're being PAID to do it. Anyways. Ordered a large iced latte. It wasn't a latte, just an iced coffee. The latte was listed as $7.50 on the menu. The cashier had to confirm "large" "iced" and "oat milk" more than once. Not exactly a large order, how hard is that to remember? A second worker had to confirm "iced". Asked what syrup flavors they have. The answer? "We have a lot, so I don't know." If you're not gonna require your workers to know the syrup flavors, maybe have them listed somewhere? If they were listed, she sure didn't point them out to me. I asked for a to-go menu, she didn't know if they had any. This must've been her first day, no, hour working there. Comes time to pay, my $7.50 iced coffee somehow comes to $10.42. Because a splash of oat milk and half a squirt of syrup are $1 each. There goes her tip. Not even Starbucks expects $12+ for 16 ounces of iced coffee. Also it wasn't cold. Luckily for them I prefer easy ice. But if you're looking for an iced coffee, expect it to be partially warm. At least service was quick. But there was no line, so I'd hope it'd be quick. Won't be back for like 6 months or until i forget this experience. Genuinely ruined my day.

Seating can be difficult when they are busy, but food is always amazing! I've probably been to Grand Ave Cafe 100+ times and there have been maybe 2-3 times where I was a bit disappointed. The most recent time (two weekends ago,) was one of those times... We had a group of 8 people, all of which were split up into tables of two, and our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive at our table and food took another 30 minutes to arrive at our table after that. Normally I wouldn't complain, but for how busy they were when we arrived (half of the tables were taken,) I feel the extended waiting times, especially for a cup of coffee was a bit ridiculous. On top of that our servers all seemed like they were having a bad day with little to no communication or friendliness. The only saving grace was that our food was wonderful. That day I would have given them a 2/10, every other time I've been there 9-10/10.

Thai restaurant
Thai Orchid Restaurant in Eau Claire, WI is a top choice for those seeking authentic Thai and Hmong cuisine. Located conveniently near popular attractions, this restaurant offers traditional, fusion, vegetarian, and vegan options. Diners can savor dishes like Pad Thai and Hot and Sour Soup or explore the variety of Pho options available. The restaurant's flavorful and consistent food has earned praise from patrons who appreciate the ability to customize spice levels.
If you're looking for the best Pho in Eau Claire, look no further. The broth has crystal clarity, and a well-rounded refreshing flavor. While served with a variety of sauces and spices to tailor fit to your taste, the soup is stellar as-is. The meat (I had beef brisket) was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the egg rolls had just the right crunch and filling ratio. As far as the dining experience goes, the cheery yellow walls and tasteful decor made even a solo meal feel very welcoming and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful without hovering, I haven't met someone who works here yet that had anything less than great personality. All of that on top of the affordability and generous portions, you can't lose. This is going to be one of my go-to's going forward.

Very good and authentic Thai food. The main dishes are solid, however the soups are where it's at. You can get multiple different soups that offer very unique and interesting flavors. The actual interior of the restaurant is not awful, but also not the best. Service can take a while sometimes, but it is simply due to how busy they are. I recommend giving them a try.

I came in 30 mins before closing and they wouldn't do a take out meal (thought that was weird) but would seat me. I can't express how happy I was with this food. The flavor was great, the spice was great, it was quick to come out. I REALLY liked this restaurant. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was great. The woman at the front desk of the Hampton inn recommended this place to me and I can't wait to go back.

I've been wanting to eat here for sometime. I finally took a day and went. And I loved everything! I had spring rolls, hot and sour soup, and garlic chicken. It was a kaleidoscope of bountiful flavors in my mouth. So tasty! I loved it all. I'll definitely be back.

Was on a work trip in Eau Claire on 9/25/2024. I wanted some asian food so decided to try Thai Orchid out. I entered and was seated right away. They let me choose where I wanted to sit. Server came out quick with water while I was looking over the menu. I ordered Chicken fried rice and an order of their spicy wings, spice level 3 out of 4(max). Food took about 10 minutes to come out. I tried the chicken first and it was still steaming from being so fresh out the oil. Very juicy and perfectly cooked chicken. Spice level was perfectly spicy for me. Do not try 3 or higher if you can't handle real spicy foods. I could have done 4 as 3 was good enough to slightly burn the tongue and lips. Wings and drums were very good sized. Not your small wings some restaurants have. Tried the fried rice with no Sriracha sauce first. Very tasty and flavorful as well. Had to add Sriracha for some spice to it. Food overall was very good for my 1st visit. Would definitely try again if in town. Service was good enough. Waiter really didn't come around anymore after bringing the food. I didn't need anything other than waiting to pay for my bill and needing a small container to pack what I didn't finish. Worth a try as the menu did have a good variety of choices.
Hung Y — Google review
Food and service was amazing. We were there during the lunch hour and it was very busy, including the take out area. Our food came out within 15 minutes from ordering, so with it being busy service was still on task. Highly recommend them if you like Thai cuisine ✨💫
Kathleen W — Google review
Food was really good and tasted fresh, they really skimped on the chicken. I had two small pieces of chicken that’s it .
Janessa S — Google review
Food here is great and consistent. It's flavorful and does taste like Thai food. You can order up to a very high spice level if you want to. Waiters/waitresses would answer any questions you may have about the menu. Prices are average but there aren't many Thai restaurants around here. Wait times have improved a lot, but still takes a little while during peak hours. There are instances where they'd be closed without any announcement or notice ahead. So make sure you call ahead before making your way there, if no one picks up then you can just assume they're closed.

Asian restaurant
Rice Palace is a Thai restaurant that offers a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes in a relaxed atmosphere with vibrant decorations. It comes highly recommended as both the top choice in Eau Claire and among Hmong restaurants overall. This local, family-owned business consistently serves delicious meals that are freshly made to order and served piping hot. While one minor complaint is the distance for those who have moved away, there hasn't been any other place found that comes close to being as good as Rice Palace.
Im glad Eau Claire has this family owned restaurant in their community. We ordered Laos papaya salad, steamed rolls, and their specialty deep fried fish dish with a small side of sticky rice. We enjoyed all of them! Really liked their papaya salad. The steamed rolls were great size (5 rolls). We cant wait to go back when we pass through Eau Claire again! One thing to improve would be their ordering process. Please have printed copies of your menu around. It is hard to just read your big posters of menu next to the cashier station. This was my least part of the experience.
Scarlet Q — Google review
I’ve been going to this place for years and honestly it’s a hit or a miss. The food is mediocre, but for the price I can’t complain. Rice palace gives quite the generous amount of food. But the quality of the food… that’s another thing . The chicken, sometimes you can get a bad piece and it’ll taste like expired yogurt. Other times it’s not terrible . The service is pretty good though, tends to be quick and straight forward :)
Janessa S — Google review
Food and service are excellent. There is a wait time because they make all dishes as they are ordered. Heavy traffic times can add to this. The food is worth it. Staff were super friendly and very helpful as we asked for extra napkins and plates. Highly recommend steam rolls, egg rolls, and Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp.
JDL — Google review
I decided to try this place for the $7.50 pad Thai Wednesday special, I also got some chicken egg rolls. I was very disappointed with the pad Thai. The quality was not on par with other places in Eau Claire, the noodles wern’t typical pad Thai noodles, they were overcooked, the beef didn’t have flavor, and overall the dish did not have a very good flavor. The eggrolls were very good, not the best in EC but they were very solid. The pad Thai was a 5/10 and egrolls were an 8/10. Overall I’d give it a 6.5/10.

Very nice. Exceeded my expectations. The flavor of my meal was just right.

Fantastic Thai food. I had the curried rice noodles and went with the spicy option. Spicy was spicy, so be prepared if you have a typical Midwestern palate. I thought it was very good. Large portions so come hungry but they also have to go boxes if you would prefer to take some home for later.

It was a long wait for takeout but worth it. It was very good, I had tofu padtai. Tofu cooked correctly and was delicious. Large portions, could have fed 2 people. Will be going back.

Sandwich shop
Eau Claire Cheese & Deli is a hidden gem offering high-quality meats, cheeses, and fresh ingredients at an affordable price. The deli serves up delicious sandwiches, soups like the Chicken Pot Pie soup and Parmesan kale soup that are full of flavor, as well as coffee and ice cream. In addition to their menu items, they also have a great selection of packaged cheese, smoked meat, crackers, and olives.
My family and myself were in state for a Builders For Christ mission trip and Wisconsin is known for their local cheese. They also had a deli. In all honesty, we just wanted local cheese and spent almost $200 on cheese that would retail a great deal more expensive. The two young ladies were so hospitable. We gave some cheese away as gifts and am still delighting in cheese curds, blocks of gouda and European cheeses. It is a small place, quite quaint with a small patio out front. Love you in Christ.

Quaint little local deli with delicious sandwiches! I love the sprouts in the Big T, and it’s big enough to split over 2 lunches. So happy this is only a few blocks away from my work. This seems like it’s also a great place to get consumable gifts! They had various candy and pickled items.

Amazing deli sandwich, the chicken salad half was so filling and delicious! The mini mart was also filled with amazing local treats family fave SEROOGYs chocolates and the cheese curd! And they fed my team of 27 women’s lacrosse players from Colorado College. Thank you Ann we will be back next time!

I had a large order for a work party(about 20 people) and had called a week before to see if it was something they were able to do. They were so friendly and helpful! I got everyone’s order and dropped it off a couple days before I needed it. When I picked it up, every order was individually wrapped with their names written on, pickle spears also individually wrapped, gave me two big boxes to carry them in, even separated them by hot and cold sandwiches, AND helped me carry them to my car! Top-notch service and the food was excellent!!

I highly recommend stopping in for a sandwich! We love the Spicy Claire and are always blown away by the vast selection of cheese. The shop is small, but the wide selection of goodies is impressive. Aged cheddar cheese connoisseurs should definitely stop in the peruse the options.

Nice selection of cheeses and charcuterie sides for such a small store. Where it really shines is the food; I had the Eau Claire Special sandwich and a cup of Mushroom Brie soup, absolutely outstanding. The Sausage and Kale soup is also one of the best soups I have ever had. If I ever come through Wisconsin again, I will be sure to stop.

Coffee shop
Located in downtown Eau Claire just off Lake Street, SHIFT Cyclery & Coffee Bar is a unique blend of a craft coffee bar and a bicycle shop. The warm and welcoming atmosphere with high ceilings, greenery, and large windows creates an artsy vibe. You can enjoy organic and craft-roasted coffee along with kombucha on tap while cozying up to the fireplace during colder days. The in-house made waffles paired with pour-over coffee are highly recommended.
SHIFT is a really neat coffee / bike repair shop combo! I stopped by while on a visit to Eau Claire and had a great experience. While I can't really speak to the repair shop side, I thought their coffee bar was excellent and really enjoyed the seasonal latte I tried. The drink was called “Liquid Gold”—it really lived up to that name, with a super interesting blend of maple syrup and golden turmeric powder. I thought it was delicious! The service was decent enough and I thought their space was really beautiful. It had a chic, industrial vibe with exposed brickwork and nice art on the walls. I definitely recommend stopping by to check it out if you're in the area!

Situated in Altoona, just a short distance from downtown Eau Claire, The Nostalgic Bean is a warm and inviting café that offers exceptional baked goods, quality coffee, and excellent customer service. This cozy establishment serves both sweet and savory pastries, including quiches for those seeking a hearty breakfast option. Highly recommended by locals, The Nostalgic Bean stands out among Eau Claire's cafes. It transports visitors to a charming bakery in France with its unique atmosphere.
Sweet! Legit. 2.3 mile walk from home to this little bakery. Kind service, fab latte and a deliciously crisp almond croissant. What an awesome find! ☕️🥐

Absolutely one of my favorite places in the Chippewa Valley! The pastries are BEYOND delicious and always so unique! The staff is amazing and we love the welcoming atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people who strive to create an inclusive space and give back to the community! The outside seating area is perfect for a relaxing visit (even with kids along). The Grace is hands-down my favorite drink - SO good! You absolutely need to make this a stop if you are visiting the area!

Quaint little coffee shop I found on Google Maps. I was happy to see drink and food items I haven't seen in other coffee shops that makes this place unique. The first thing that caught my eye was all the great looking pastries. Unique options included a croissant type thing with asparagus and bacon and some quiches that other patrons were talking about. It was the same with drinks, they had sone unique creations. I ended up going with a "Dirty Watkins" which was a spiced black tea latte with a shot of espresso. Somewhat similar to a Chai, but different spices. I also picked up an order of the raspberry and hibiscus shortbread cookies. Both items were different but very tasty. I am disappointed I was just driving through and won't be back anytime soon so I could try some of the other interesting offerings.

I admit it-I’m a bakery snob. Being both a transplanted Montrealer, and currently a resident of the #2 foodie city in the US, I’m particular about my baked goods! I would return to Eau Claire just for the baked goods at Nostalgic Bean. We purchased 10 bakery items and 8 macaroons for $60, and am planning on returning tomorrow to do it all again. Life is too short to eat mediocre pastries and drink burnt coffee!
Alex L — Google review
I’m already nostalgic for this place. A new day means a new morning to visit a coffeehouse. Tim actually suggested this place as he mentioned its something he’s wanted to try for awhile. We hopped in the car and headed out. I wasn’t sure what to expect from The Nostalgic Bean since I was going into this trip without much of a plan besides a few odds and ends. But what a surprise this place is. It’s in a cute little building with some sweet snail art on the side. Inside is quaint and cozy. The staff was super friendly while we did some do-si-do with other patrons of the bakery. Inside is small and due to the layout, it can get a bit crowded if they are busy at all. Normally this is a hassle but something about this place makes it fun. I got my usual americano and a corn jalapeno quiche. With how busy it was, the food and coffee didn’t take much time to come out and the staff, again, was super friendly and helpful. I wanted a specific t-shirt and while they didn’t have it on their merch shelf, the young lady took the time to locate one in their back stock area. Keep your eye peeled for me wearing it in future reviews :). The americano was pretty good, just a bit below the bitter level I like but it made drinking it a breeze. The quiche was really good, too. I don’t think I’ve ever had one before this and I ended up getting it the next day when we came back with Matt. The second time we came back, we had the same level of friendliness and same awesome deliciousness. All their baked goods looked amazing and both Tim and Matt were in love with the place, too. Tim dabbled in their baked goods but I don’t remember all that he got. Matt got a coffee and a small thing to eat as well. The Nostalgic Bean has become a staple for us when we visit Eau Claire. I feel like we will hit it up every time we visit Tim because we all just fell in love with the place. Just look at their baked goods online and you’ll understand just how sweet this place is.

Valley Burger Company is a popular spot in Eau Claire, known for its top-notch burgers made with locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant, housed in a historic building once owned by the local lumber company, offers a cozy atmosphere and outdoor seating. Customers can enjoy their delicious burgers and fries on the patio while playing giant Connect 4. The menu features monthly special burgers and beer pairings, adding to the dining experience.
This place is a hidden gem and is a must-stop. The drinks were fantastic, burgers were juicy and phenomenal flavor. We had the cauliflower appetizer and split an order of fries...very generous portions. Great eats all around! We will be back...best burger in town by far.

Came to Valley Burger after hearing some wonderful reviews from friends. Inside is very comfortable, but not big. Maybe ten tables? The servers were definitely very busy and our drinks sat, but they were very friendly and food came out in a timely manner. My husband ordered a regular cheeseburger and I ordered the Wisco Whiz. They were double smash burgers and were about average, probably a little better. Their signature Valley sauce is awesome though! I think that's what made these burgers a little bit better than the average. My hubby wasn't a fan of the fries as they had skin on them, but I absolutely loved them. All in all, I'm glad we came and checked it out! I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the patio! (the pickles are so crispy and yummy by the way!)

5⭐️ Everything Please try this place. Amazing burgers 🍔 One of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. The quality of ingredients is locally sourced and of the highest standards. All burgers are smash burgers on amazing sesame seed buns. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, establishment was super clean and food was great. Portion size reflects the price and the quantity. Also, restrooms were clean and neat and plenty of parking. I would definitely eat here again and look forward to trying more items off the menu.

Great burger and fries. Relaxing place to have an easy lunch at a reasonable price. The server was very nice and sweet. She had great energy describing their different burgers and attention to the customers. I will come back and try another burger.

Considering what we spent I would have expected more. You get charged for every piece of your meal. If I spend $16 on a burger, I wouldn’t typically expect to spend another $5 to get tiny chunks of over cooked fries. It was ok at best.

This place was EVERYTHING you look for in a food joint. great atmosphere with games out for everyone and its in a rustic former bank. you can still see the vault doors. but the real highlight is the food, it was the best burger ive ever had in my life. from the sauces, golden crusted smash burger, the fantastic buns, it was spectacular. you could tell someone actually cares about the food that they are serving and using real ingredients. every single thing was fantastic, the fries and homemade sauces were the perfect side. i dont live in the area, but i will definitely make it a point to come back here.

This place lived up to the hype. Very tasty burgers and fries. The sauce was great on burgers, fries and the cheese curds. Good beer/bar list. Friendly staff. Lots of big TV's. Cool old building. Big outdoor seating area that is pet friendly. Seating inside does look to be cramped when busy. Definitely worth the stop.

We stopped here for dinner during my son’s graduation weekend from Stout. It was 9pm, we were lost and hungry so we pulled in. I am not lying when I say it was the best burger I have ever eaten. The Reboot Social is more than just a restaurant; it's a lively gathering spot where you can enjoy delicious food and signature cocktails while immersing yourself in nostalgic entertainment. Located on Barstow St., this multi-level entertainment facility offers duckpin bowling, vintage arcade games, pinball, skee-ball, billiards, and darts across 16,000 sq. ft. The bar area features tables and couches for socializing, as well as board games for visitors to enjoy.
I sure do wish this place was closer to me. The restaurant is made up of the following: table seating area and bar upstairs, along with a small bowling alley. Downstairs is a retro arcade, small bar and more. Thursday is $.50 wings and they were soooo good. And the prices on the arcade games were surprisingly cheap. $.33 per play on some of the most nostalgic game options. Anyone that grew up in the 90/00s in arcades would LOVE this place. I would bet their regular menu is delicious too. An awesome place for families with kids, a couple looking for a unique date night or anyone looking to relive their arcade days.

Met a group here for a birthday party. It seemed like a cool place, and there's a lot to do other than eat. We left early after a group game of mini bowling and didn't go downstairs with the rest of the group but I know there were more games downstairs. My girlfriend got the pizza pocket and said it was very good, I had the smash burger and that was very good as well. My main issue is when paying by scanning the qr code on the meal receipt, you are asked to enter your tip percentage, and after receiving the receipt in email, it showed everyone in the groups receipts too. I mentioned it to one of them and they asked if I noticed the gratuity was already on the ticket, which I did not and they did not either. I feel like the waitress should've made that known and it seems a little sneaky. So they ended up getting double tipped by more than just me.
Paul G — Google review
Such a fun, cool place to dine at. Plus the smash burger with truffle fries was soooo good that I will probably never deviate when I come back. 😂 The Kitchen Chef/Manager even came out to check and see if we were enjoying our food. Really great, family friendly place.

Great place for families or friends to gather. Play board games while you dine, rent a lane for duckpin bowling, then hit the arcade. It was fun playing games from my childhood. Loved going to the arcade when I was younger so it was fun to bring my kids to play the same games and pinball. The food and service were fantastic. Staff was very attentive and checked on you often.

We came here for lunch to celebrate my partners birthday. We were recommended here since we have little kids and were told it was kid friendly. We couldn't have been more wrong. Our experience was absolutely horrible. We had ordered our food and took out some games and coloring to do while we waited. All was fine at first. After a long wait of 50 minutes, we received only part of our order. My 4 year old was left waiting for their pizza, which didnt come until 10 minutes later. When we started to dig into our food my partner and I found burnt pieces. My partners fried chicken was burnt crisp, amd her bun was completely charred inside. So much that she even tried to scrap some of the burnt ash off of it. My nachos were barely topped with the abundance of toppings the menu offered. The queso cheese was cold on top and a bunch of the chips on the bottom layer were burnt at the edges and corners. If that wasn't enough to put a sour taste in our mouths (quite literally), the service that we received put it over the top for us. We were only checked in on twice and in those times, our waitress didn't refill any of our drinks (we had all just had ice waters), and stood around in the back with other waitresses while we waited to be served. She acted incredibly disinterested in what she was doing and made my partner and I both feel like she really didn't want to be our waitress or wait on us. When she finally came back for the 2nd time, I had told her about my partners dish as well as mine and how burnt they were. I had said that the nacho plates I had seen coming out to other tables were much more loaded than mine was and that mine had been cold right away. All she said was "ooo, okay I'll ask my manager what to do." And then left. Didn't take the burnt plates, didnt apologize for the mistake, nothing. Just turned and left. We were sitting right next to the kitchen and waitress station so I had a clear view of the happenings. Our waitress went over to the manager, they said a few words, the manager ROLLED HER EYES, and then the waitress went into the kitchen. 20 MINUTES LATER, she stopped back with a couple boxes that we had requested for our kiddos bc they were getting so antsy with the waiting (like, for over an hour and a half almost). When I asked her for an update she quickly said "oh, yeah, um, my manager said that she'd just take some off of your bill." When I asked if there was anything else they could do, bc, my partner and I were obviously extremely hungry now and wanted to eat (thats why we were here in the 1st place) all she said was "well if i were to take the plates back, then we would have to make a whole new dish just to fill the order that weve already filled." I was pissed at this answer. My partner then asked for the check, which of course, came within 5 minutes of us asking. Our bill had been discounted only for my partners food. We still ended up paying full price for mine. We left hungry, frustrated, and extremely disappointed in the service from the waitress, the inconsiderate response to our requests for better food quality, and extremely upset at the MANAGER for rolling her eyes at us, and not holding her staff accountable to rectify a, most likely, honest mistake in the kitchen. We will NOT be coming back here and we WILL be sharing this experience with our family and friends. Reboot Social, you have lost some valuable business. Do better.

Reboot Social is an absolute gem in downtown Eau Claire! The food was excellent with plenty of menu options that stayed true to the theme—something for everyone without being overwhelming. The arcade and games were a huge hit with our family and gave us a chance to put down our phones and just enjoy being together. There was something truly nostalgic about watching our kids (5, 5, and 7) light up playing pinball machines, just like we did when we were younger. On top of that, the sports on the TVs created a fun atmosphere, and the arcade itself is top-notch. We even had some good luck on the pull tabs, which added to the excitement! We will definitely be back—this is a fantastic addition to Eau Claire’s downtown scene, and one our family is already looking forward to visiting again.

I've been here a few times now, with groups of friends. I love the environmental, it's very fun and easy going. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Overall I really enjoy my experience here, the drinks are good, and I really enjoy the environment.

Visitors can also explore the surrounding area, which boasts parks, playgrounds, beaches, waterfalls, bridges, tubing spots, splash pads, nature hikes, and a charming Farmers Market.
First time at The Nucleus and it was fantastic! I ordered the signature Lemon Ricotta Hotcake and they were phenomenal! Each hotcake was light and fluffy with the whipped cream and fresh strawberries complimenting the other. The Lionized Hash browns were amazing with crispy potatoes and cheesy goodness. The dark roast coffee was wonderful as well. It had the perfect balance of flavors and is exactly what I want for my every day cup of coffee. Great food and a great staff!

We went in with 11 people (called ahead but they don't take reservations) and they were so amazing with accommodating us. I understand the struggle of fitting that many people together but all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ended up splitting the group for about 30 minutes, got drinks, and then when another table cleared out we were all able to sit together. The food was amazing with good pricing for the size, those crepes are huge! Definitely recommend coming here

a great little breakfast/brunch spot with such a relaxed vibe. loved that we were able to wait for a table in the connected coffee shop and start our morning there! reasonably priced plates and love the option of doing half portions!

Great place for breakfast!!! We were greeted right away with a friendly smiling bubbly person. They stated to sit anywhere. They even suggested going to the back. We loved walking through the building. The age, the decor, the use of the building. We sat in the back of the building next to a window. A staff person brought water as soon as we sat. Menu's and again more smiles :) ! I had coffee and my son kept to water. Food order was taken! Food arrived in an acceptable time. The lemon crepe was very good. Both of our dishes were very tasty! We highly recommend a breakfast stop when visiting Eau Claire.

Food was tasty and priced well. This is definitely more of a new age, artsy, hip location. The staff was super friendly and seemed actually happy to be here. The only complaint is when it's busy the sound is distracting. Overall, a delicious meal and supportive staff makes this a great stop to eat.

I was really excited to try out this restaurant. When I sat down I ordered a mimosa for me and my girl. The mimosa was okay. Did lack a little flavor but it did the job. Then I ordered pancakes , hash browns and sausage. The hash browns were HORRIBLE!!!! Tasted like cardboard… it lacked so much taste… Then I tried the pancakes and those were super dry and to be honest … the box pancakes I make tasted way better. Idk what they are cooking with or without but definitely not buttermilk pancakes. I’m from California and liverd in Louisiana so maybe my expectations were different… especially from me living in the south where food is full of flavor … but man this was BY FAR the worst breakfast I have ever had. I drank my mimosa and ate my sausage… that was it !!! The waitress that had a shaved head came and asked how everything was and I was honest but she barely tried to remedy the situation. Honesty you should of took the pancakes and hash-browns off my ticket since you seen I didn’t eat it. I tried to not make a fuss about it… she said she’d give me a discount…. Mannn look…. She took 3.00 of my bill… I was like are you serious…. They outta pocket. If a customer states the food is terrible and then you SEE they didn’t eat it … and still charge them .. outta line So no… I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone honestly. Especially after that customer service. Maybe they have better food off the menu but I’m not trying it. ♤ Since the owner replied let me set it straight. I'm a very straight forward individual! - I took a box because if I'm going to be charged for the food and not offered to take it off the ticket, then I might as well take it with me, right? I wasn't trying to eat anything else of the menu if the basic pancakes and hash browns were bad. That's basic breakfast... that's hard to mess up! Now I said I didn't make a fuss about the issue but it was just bad customer service and her whole attitude toward the situation... but next time I guess I should of asked for a refund. Just was bad food and bad customer service. A phone call would of been better. I'm fine with the situation, i just wouldn't advise anyone to go there. Some people really like it, but im not into false reviews. I do like the atmosphere! The guy I encounter was really kind and friendly. Best Wishes ... Hope it gets Better

Took a Lyft here from the Lismore. Located in Old Town, nice opportunity to see a different area of Eau Claire. Place was really busy but got a table right away. Waited a long time for our food, but figured our order got lost for we didn't get our meal until we noted our frustration. To be fair, they discounted our bill. Be aware they are going with trend charging for coffee refills...though again, they didn't charge us because of the long wait. Food was plentiful, but not extraordinary.

First time visit; friendly waitstaff; excellent food; comfortable environment in a historic building with artsy flair; reasonable prices; wait for seating in the coffee shop with excellent coffee! We will be back next time we are in town. (Worth any wait time you may encounter).

The Acoustic Cafe is a spacious and bright corner cafe located in downtown Eau Claire. It offers a casual, vegetarian-friendly menu featuring gourmet sandwiches, hoagies, pitas, homemade soups, fresh salads, and baked goods. The cafe also roasts its own coffee and bakes original recipe bread daily. Guests can enjoy live music on weekends and outdoor seating during the summer months. Additionally, complimentary wireless Internet is available on site.
Great vibes at Acoustic, I've always loved this place and when I went to school here it was a cozy spot for tea/coffee and homework or relaxing. Very affordable and very kind staff, cool decor as always. Definitely worth stopping in at if you're in the neighborhood!! Hot or cold sandwiches and soup are the primary dishes, they also have tasty baked goods and ice cream! Note: Around 7PM (before the homeless shelter opens nearby), there are sometimes a few groups of homeless inside. But they're friendly and aren't an issue unless you're being rude or staring - just enjoy yourself and be a respectful patron so all can enjoy!

I frequented the Menomonie Acoustic Cafe for years when I attended Stout. My favourite order was blueberry french soda, a corned beef hoogie, and maybe a bowl of beer cheese soup. I had known of the other location for some time, but this was the first ocasion that I have visited it. I belive it is a bit larger, but it has the same lovely benches for seating. I definately prefer the decor and vibes at the Menomonie location, but I assume it can't be helped that this place was not as cozy and cute. I was able to get my french soda fix thankfully. Same great food and drink. Great staff.

I usually don’t make reviews like this, but I thought it was necessary. I don’t like to talk bad about restaurants, but the experience was not the greatest. I ordered the tuna pita and a cup of vegetable soup. The vegetable soup had a very bad aftertaste. I couldn’t even eat it. It also, barely had any vegetables in it. I would never suggest ordering that. My boyfriend got the chili and it was amazing! I think there’s other good things on the menu, but what I ordered was not it. The sandwich was good, but the tuna was mid it was still fishy. Needed more mayo. The real reason I made this review, was because I ordered an Italian soda because I can’t have caffeine. Unfortunately, there were hairs all over the outside of my cup. Hair, from somebody working in the kitchen. Not just one, multiple of them. I do not have short, black hair, I have long orange hair. My boyfriend’s coffee was delicious though. It was about $45 for two sandwiches, 2 cups of soup, poverty nachos, and two drinks. I thought the nachos had a funny after taste as well. So I couldn’t have more than a couple bites. They’re just microwave nachos. Just disappointed, there was hairs all over my cup.

My sister and I made the trip over to Eau claire WI to collect our farther who lived a few doors up from this awesome cafe. It used to be one of his favourite places to go. We loved it there as the staff and the whole setting was awesome 👌 If you're ever passing and need a pit stop this is your place to go. Customers praise the quality of their cheese pizza and hot sandwiches, emphasizing the generous portions of toppings on their pizzas.
Was in town for a hockey tournament, someone recommended this place. I think I ate like 3 feet of sandwich that weekend. It was so good. I think the one in the picture was called the cowboy or something.

We visit often and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly and service is relatively quick. They have ample seating including tables and chairs as well as booths. Their vegetarian options are tasty and kids menu is appreciated by kids.

This is the best sub sandwich restaurant in Eau Claire. It would receive 6 stars if possible because the area is devoid of good restaurants at reasonable prices. It is in the center of town, but to reach it, you drive through a parking lot or an alley. Your extra tricky driving requirements are worth the quality of food. The parking area is small. But the entrance is well marked. Prices are great for the taste and quanity.

I placed an advance lunch order for business purposes. The ordering process, confirmation phone call the day before, on-time delivery and perfectly accurate order were all fantastic. Of course, the food tasted great as well! We will certainly order again in the future. Mancino's EC made it quick and easy to fit lunch in to our busy day. Thank you!

If you find yourself in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, make sure to stop by Johnny's Pizza Shop for a delightful dining experience. This charming little eatery captures the essence of an old-school pizzeria reminiscent of New York City. The friendly staff ensures prompt service while maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. Their menu features a variety of options including delicious pizza, hearty meatball subs, and even stuffed slices that cleverly combine the best elements of pizza and stromboli.
The stuffed pizza calazone was amazing! They have fresh marina that was also very tasty. One of few limited places that has calazones & Stromboli, an pre-ready for customers on the go. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

This was our first time trying Johnny's Pizza. Ordered a 16" and 18" pizza for pickup, and it was done in a reasonable time, and the shop was nice when we went to pick it up. Once we got home, we saw that the 18" was in the larger box, but was the exact same size as the 16". We paid 18" price for a 16" pizza. Flavor was fine, nothing special.

Disappointed and frustrated. I used to really like this place but my recent experience was unacceptable. When I called in the employee was rude. When I arrived, I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come from the back even though my food was already done. Then I got home and found out the pizza wasn’t even cut. I drove back and asked for a refund and the employee not only gave me attitude but also burped in my face. I’m honestly shocked by how unprofessional this was. Really disappointing from a place I used to enjoy.

While driving across the state, we decided to grab a bite here for lunch as we usually love Culvers on a road trip. Couldn’t regret it more. All of the burgers were absolutely burnt and so salty they were practically inedible. The curds were changed, and not for the better. The only good thing were the fries we got. All of us ended up getting stomach aches from the food, even though I literally only took one bite of my burger, and my wife probably took two bites of hers. Ruined our appetites for dinner with the family, and kept us up all night. It’s 5am now and I’ve been going to the bathroom for hours now. Thanks for the $41 in food poisoning Culver’s! Never again!

Culver’s usually never lets me down but WOW! This one floored me. I’m starting this year on the keto diet so I ordered a double deluxe just the sandwich without the bun and added ketchup. Got the Chicken Parmesan, it was pretty good. The chicken was the best part but the Marinara sauce used was flavorless and in my opinion wasn’t that good. Service was good and pretty cheap! Not bad.

My daughter chose Noodles and Company for dinner and it’s honestly been a very long time since I’ve been here. The restaurant was quiet on a Tuesday at 4:30– in fact we were the only ones in there the whole time we were eating! I ordered the pesto cavatappi with chicken, my daughter ordered the chicken parm, we had a side of cheese bread and two fountain drinks. The service was adequate. Not great, not poor. I thought my pasta was rather bland and under seasoned. My biggest complaint was the cost. $40 seems like a lot for fast casual pasta and I think next time we go out I’d suggest somewhere different.

The youg gentlemen working the night we drove through did a good job communicating and engaging with us. Been a long couple days traveling and a DQ blizzard sounded good. Both of the items we ordered were made very well and while we waited, the guy at the window chit chatted with us, which was nice. Good to see!

Ordered a blizzard and it was completely runny. The other blizzard they did the usual tip upside down. The other they just handed to us with a lid and said “be careful with that one”. So they knew it was runny and still served it anyway. It was shake consistency at best. Poor product and service.

I ordered chicken strips, with an additional order of cheese curds. I still got the full basket, & than my food was all combined together. I just thought maybe they'd yknow put the cheese curds in a small boat or something not like, with all of my food just thrown in there on top of each other.
Jordan R — Google review
I waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes, they made me sit at the speaker and wait to order for 15 mins and then about 20 mins before I got my ice cold fries, gross chicken strips, wrong soda and my partially melted blizzard. I’ve genuinely never seen such a poorly run establishment in my entire life.I could see four women working, not one of them actually providing service. This was at 2:30 in the afternoon as well, there was no rush and the place wasn’t busy.
Ashley J — Google review
Waited for a very long time to get my tube wizards due to a large food order ahead of me that they did not have move ahead to the front. My blizzard did not get tipped upside down when I said something about getting my money back because they clearly were melted. He said the reason he didn’t flip them upside down is because the ice cream would go everywhere and I said yes, I’ve been waiting forever for my two blizzard and it says on your board I would get my ice cream for free. he made me feel like I was just trying to get handouts when honestly, I sat there waiting and spent almost $20 for ice cream and didn’t want it to be completely melted

Very disappointed ! First time at this Dairy Queen & probably the last. I ordered the flame thrower burger meal. The hamburger patties were dry & not juicy by any means, and the fries were the worst I’ve eaten, Cold & hard! Because of the temperature of the food, I do not believe that these were freshly made. Way too much to be spending on food that has been sitting there waiting for you to arrive! I haven’t been to a Dairy Queen since the one on Menomonee Street and probably won’t try one again To many other delicious choices! No ketchup for your fries make sure you ask!

Nicest Culver’s I’ve ever been to, both in terms of how kind and professional the employees were as well as how nice the building was! So clean. Big inside. Food was excellent. I had the curder burger and loved it.

Before you read this. I want you to know this is the first time this has happened at any Culver's. I get there. Order my food. The kid gets my name wrong and repeats it back to me in a condescending tone. Food came out quick. Left. Not only did I have to go back because I noticed they forgot the fries, but after I got home. I noticed something very odd about my burger... No Top bun. The kids working there tonight were not paying attention to anything. Culver's please look into this... Thanks. Very disappointing. I don't leave bad reviews. Correction must be made.

Literally the best culvers I've ever been to. Fastest service and cleanest dining room. Burgers: lacey. Buns: soft. Fries: crispy. Curds: squeaky. Major shouts out to John. Fantastic friendly service.

Nice job. This is like McDonald’s but 10x better. And you guys have free samples is just crazy. I’m not saying it’s bad. It’s good. You really do care about your customers so much you provide the best service possible to enjoy.

I love Culver's..my 4 year old grandson frequent Culver's! Love the food and treats.. service is superb for a fast food restaurant! We love listening and bopping to the music. Im old and the music is always oldies but goodies! We've actually got up and danced together a few times to the music in black river falls! This is one of our favorite places to eat! ❤️

Restaurant was sparkling clean and the staff were very kind. Always a pleasure to eat at Culver’s. Tried the curd burger (not sure of spelling) and it was very delicious. I’ve never had one before. We always love the food, the service, and of course the desserts. The fish dinner and the grilled chicken sandwich are always tasty. So are the fries. What’s not to love?

Usually give high marks for Culvers, Tonight had a snafu with ordering on there page. I ordered they said it was all good money was taken out. got to the store told them we were there and get an e mail my order did not make it to the store and the IT dept would look in to it. come on culvers do better.

I came into this Culver's for ice cream. The man who helped me was named Ryan. He has dark brown hair. I watched Ryan bust his butt off working order after order non stop, I don't know what he gets paid, but i know he deserves a raise, remaining very kind and patient to every customer. I saw how busy it was and waited patiently, however, i waited over 15 minutes for one strawberry cooler. I asked Kourtney with pink hair if it was on the way and she was very disrespectful to me and dismissed my question. I do not appreciate Kourtney, however, Ryan deserves way more than this culvers.

Fazoli's is a fast-food chain known for serving up a variety of Italian dishes such as baked pastas, subs, and pizza. Customers can also create custom combos to suit their preferences. While the locations may be limited in the Midwest, many patrons find the food to be outstanding and addictive, particularly praising the lasagna, pepperoni pizza, and breadsticks. The friendly and helpful staff further enhance the dining experience.
Great stop for families! Whisper was great in taking our order and making recommendations. We have a picky toddler and she recommended plain noodles with red sauce on the side and an extra alfredo sauce on the side. It was a great recommendation and my kid ate her whole dinner! Terry was kind and made sure we had enough bread sticks. He was keeping everything tidy in the dining room and we appreciated finding a clean table right away. The kids' area was spectacular, with high chairs, bibs, a kids table, coloring sheets, and books. It was a great place to take a break when driving between Minneapolis and Chicago.

Whisper gave great customer service from start to finish. Recommended a dish and willing to work with us on a substitute to meet our needs for an amazing dinner. Highly recommend stopping in.

All I have to say is it was gross as soon as I got to the front door. I’ve never dined in before and never will eat there again. The front door was absolutely filthy greasy. Then after we ordered the tray they put my salad on was dirty greasy and stuff stuck on it. Then when we got to fill our drinks i didn’t realize that the silverware is grab yourself so their sitting there and every one had food on it or looked greasy. The containers that hold the silverware were slimy. There were crumpled up dirty napkins in one of them. Absolutely gross. I ended up going back up tot the counter and canceling my order. Completely ruined my appetite. I understand that places get handprints on doors and things but I’m telling you this was gross the door was my first red flag. I should have took a picture of it.

Fazoli’s is one of those places you don’t realize you take for granted until after you leave an area that has one. They are few and far between in the Midwest but it’s certainly worth the stop! We had the lasagna, pepperoni pizza, and of course lots of breadsticks! I wish I lived closer to one because their food is always outstanding and so addictive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing fast food Italian! The pricing is phenomenal, and the unlimited breadsticks when you dine in are such a treat. I’ve never had anything here I didn’t like — the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciate the kid-friendly touches like the area for coloring and reading. The fact that they let kids hang up their artwork is such a big deal as a parent — my kid loves seeing their art on display. Fazoli’s is hands down one of my favorite places to stop in Eau Claire!

We lost our Fazoli's and this one is always a great treat to come to. The food is always hot and fresh and the breadsticks are the best anywhere. All for a reasonable price. We love it!

The food was high-quality and quite tasty. Although the quality of the food was very good, the cleanliness of the place in general wasn’t the best, and we were searching for a table that was clean. The atmosphere was okay and the different paintings around set the atmosphere as a nice and calm place to sit and eat.

Erbert and Gerbert's is a popular chain eatery known for its submarine sandwiches, soups, and chili. The casual, counter-service setting provides a convenient dining experience. Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff, likening the establishment to other sandwich chains. While some found the prices slightly high, others appreciated the attention to detail in fulfilling their orders accurately. The tasty sandwiches received compliments, although some felt that the meat portions were a bit light for the price.
I have been ordering from this location regularly for years now and can not stress how good of a job both the employees and general manager do. Thank you all for the hard work and grate food and happy holidays

Ordered a turkey and avocado pick 2 deal, sandwich had no avocado on it.. also ordered another bowl of soup on top of the pick 2.. cashier charged for a drink and chips on the pick two deal which I did not want. Was not asked before ringing up and charging for it. The soup tasted sour and was disgusting. After being sick I was looking forward to the chicken wild rice soup. Having to drive all the way from Chippewa to come here as this location was open I was very disappointed, then my soups were forgotten so had to go back in the ask for my soups. Spending $35 on food for two for it to be screwed up

I order through Uber eats and have always had a decent experience. Today I ordered Uber delivery was excellent as always, but my sandwich showed up on stale bread that was cracked and falling apart. My sandwich had two pieces of meat on it. The roast beef was brown and dried up. I requested extra onions and lettuce. There were a few slivers of onions, the lettuce was brown and red. The rice crispy treat was stale. The rice crispy had no texture at all, and had taken on the flavor of oil and butter. There was a thin layer of chocolate and peanut butter on top that tasted like it had been watered down. I removed Erbert and Gerbert from my favorite order list today. Disappointed, it was like taking $15 ripping it up and throwing it in the trash.

This is the second bad experience we have had with this location. They charged us for an order that wasn’t even fullfillable due to a change in store hours that wasn’t stated on the website at the time. Their automated system luckily refunded us but it takes 3 days for the refund to process. A bit upsetting, just wish the hours were correct and the system received proper updates to decline orders placed close to the new closing hours.

I really liked this place. Just stopping in on my drive in to Minneapolis. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It kind of reminded me of a jimmy johns. The only complaint that I have is the food was kind of expensive. I also got the buffalo chicken sandwich and when I bit into it some of the chicken had like ice on it from being refrigerated. It grossed me out a little. Broccoli cheddar soup was soothing. Other than that it was great. I would return.
Emily R — Google review
I made a delivery order online and I am not impressed. I have been to this location twice before in person and it was fine nothing special but not bad service however, this was a tad ridiculous. I ordered our food online for delivery as we both had long days and didn’t want to leave to get food. Nowhere did it say on the site that our delivery would be made via Doordash?? I thought E&G had their own drivers. Anyway, our food arrives and I notice we’re missing an item. I don’t have the Doordash app. I cannot go through previous orders on the app to report it. Our driver did not respond. The link sent to track the order was to quite literally only track the order. I called the store and I got a very short response of “You need to contact doordash” after I explained that Doordash doesn’t have the order on their app and the link doesn’t do anything. The app also has no “Support” option that I could find to get in contact with someone. After this I go to enjoy what of the order we do have and the Avocado on my Narmer sandwich is missing. Super unimpressed and unhappy. Update: 11/17/24 I looked up erberts and gerberts online to order dinner and the location took me to Lake Hallie. After I used the “precise location” the website brought me to the Water street ordering form which through Erberts and Gerberts says 10:30 am - 10pm NOT the winter hours which are 10:30am - 8pm. We ordered for pickup just prior to 8pm and once we arrive we find that the location is actually closed? Understandable with the winter hours however unless you look for this specific location on a search engine the winter hours are not listed. I did reviece an email saying an adjustment had been made to my payment of $23.59 (our order total). Is this so the pending charge falls off and I am not charged? Some clarity would be nice as well as correct hours on all platforms especially the Erberts and Gerberts site itself.
Tatum K — Google review
My fault for coming 30 mins before closing but they were out of a couple meats.
Jayna S — Google review
The worst E&B I have ever had the displeasure ordering from. They have yet to get a single order correct. The food I ordered has yet to show up (1h 50min). This will be the last time I order from them. Teach your employees to do refunds so I don't have to wait several hours for a manager to help me.

This place has some seriously awesome burgers. You get a much higher level of quality at Culver's than at your average fast-food place. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. And the taste? Fresh and flavorful! It's like they actually care about the food they're making. I was really impressed with the quality. Definitely going back for more soon. I highly recommend checking them out!

I have to say this is some good quality food for a fast food joint. They don’t have these where I live. I got their butter burger with cheese curds and their fried shrimp. The burger was nice and juicy Jad some good flavor and the bun was nice and soft and buttery. I was surprised how big the shrimp was, I feel like they better here than at most dine in restaurants, very good.

I took my family there last night to celebrate the kids school achievement. We ordered ice cream in dishes with toppings. When they can the serving were so small they barely filled a third of the small cups. When I questioned the size, I got huge attitude from the staff like it was my fault. Totally ruining the celebration vibe. Thanks Culver’s for poor customer experience with the family.

Drive thru service of Culver in Eau Claire Wisconsin right on Folsom is lousy. They mess up orders consistently or do not include your full order. Making it home to realize your order is missing something is very frustrating and destroys dinner time with family when having to drive back to Culver. I continue to hope that this place gets it right yet I constantly experience issues with the drive thru service. Sometime I be thinking I am experiencing this because I am black? I hope not, I seek to think the best but service and food and drinks do not be made to one’s order and sometime do not include my full order. I ask that management evaluate the drive thru service and if they mess up a order fix them accordingly as well as include something for the customer inconvenience, thank you. #lifecoachcw @god_bless_the_real

This Culver’s was a really nice stop. Very clean and fast service. Burgers were really good and fries were piping hot! A big shout out to Noah who took our order. He was excellent (10 stars) as we changed our order and added a lot of extras. He had very good product knowledge and didn’t steer us wrong! Our order was made perfectly. He had so much patience, calmness and served us with a smile! He made stopping here well worth it. Culver’s is really lucky to have an employee like Noah working for them in this day and age!

No idea what the other food is like but the frozen custard is great! Their chocolate custard tastes basically like ice-cream but with more richness/creaminess. Really good especially with the toppings. It also arrived pretty fast considering we ordered like 5 each with different toppings. Only downside is it melts very fast and when you get it the custard is usually a bit liquidy (all 3 times I been here). Definitely not something I would order if you plan on eating it at home, eat it in the restaurant or enjoy chocolate soup!

Burrachos Fresh Mexican Grill is a Mexican eatery that serves up familiar dishes like burritos and nachos in a casual, self-serve environment. Customers rave about the excellent food and top-notch service provided by the friendly staff. The portions are generous and bursting with flavor. The restaurant offers a peaceful atmosphere for lunchtime visits, as it tends to be less crowded during those hours. One highly recommended dish is the steak burrito bowl, which combines flavors flawlessly.
Haven’t been to Burrachos in a while but decided to tonight and was very impressed with the staff. The gentleman who took my order took the time to explain the different menu options, very politely too. Observing the others, it seems they all had the same level of courtesy which isn’t real common anymore. Five stars for the team tonight, and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Amazing burritos, fast and delicious. The best thing about Burrachos is their selection of ingredients. I tend to get their barbacoa when I stop in, but every other option I’ve gotten has also been great. Their burritos are big and will keep you full. And their bowls are also a good size for the price.

Food was not good 12 small pieces of steak and kinda random throughout the burrito all the topping on one end. Not impressed more rice n beans than anything.

I understand people do not get paid a ton of money to work here, but I still expect better customer service. The two guys working were nice! The two women appeared super annoyed we were there at 720pm. I found a bone in my food (I ordered the chicken burrito bowl). They did not seem to care. Also they put my food in to-go containers but we ate in. This place used to be good. Food was not good, hubby threw away his. Won’t be back.

First time dining in and I chose the barbacoa burritos and honestly I am so in love with it. Just absolutely thrilled and happy dancing while eating it. The folks here were so nice and answered all of my questions about the food. And were great about my allergy! Will definitely be returning!

Way too pricey for the small amount of food. $14 for a smallish salad, chips and queso, and a drink? Definitely won't buy again. Qdoba has more food, better, and lower price. Edit: just tried again. My review stays the same. Over $10 for this little burrito bowl? WAY way overpriced! Plus charging people extra to have queso when everything else is already expensive is just tacky. (That price was not including delivery). Nothing in this bowl was so gourmet to cost me over $10. Pretty disappointed. Can't wait until Qdoba comes to the area.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is a go-to casual dining spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine. Here, you can customize your meal with options like burritos, tacos, and bowls that feature freshly grilled meats or sofritas. Each dish can be tailored to your liking with an array of toppings such as guacamole, salsa, queso blanco, sour cream, and cheese. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.
Believe me, I've been to many Chipotles and seen many service options. The service here is at a good level. The most important thing is fresh products, large portions and always all the ingredients. What else do you need to enjoy yourself after a working day? You guys are cool, keep it up 👏

I used to never have any problem with this place. But the last few months have been awful. If I order chips, they are really greasy or stale. The guac has been horrible and today really irritated me. I literally had a full half of an avocado. That was my “guac”. Come on. How did the person not notice this. If I’m paying extra for toppings, I expect what I’m paying for. I hope I can change this review at some point.

Probably the best Chipotle food and service I’ve ever been in my life. We’ve been coming here for a while now and they’re good is always good. The quality is so consistent and the atmosphere is very family friendly. Really wish all Chipotle stores are exactly like this! Keep up the great work!
Ivaness S — Google review
I have very mixed feelings writing this review as I am a big fan of Chipotle however this location has taught me to lower my expectations time and time again. I will be ignoring the "inconsistent portions" to keep simplicity as this is a well known problem. For starters, the cross contamination is a constant issue. I couldn't possibly count how many times I've gotten a burrito or bowl with an ingredient I never ordered. Whether its corn, fajita veggies, or lettuce it seems to always find its way into my food. (Especially the corn.) I have no allergies however its hard not to get disappointed whenever I find a green pepper the size of my finger laying in my bowl. In addition to poor diligence, I have been left to wonder where my sides keep disappearing to. I have had several occurrences where I've had to swiftly pick up my order and bring it to work to find my sides missing chips, sauces, ect. While my final notes I must admit are quite "nitpicky" and these could be chalked up to coincidences, but over the past few months the cilantro in the rice has been getting bigger and bigger. I swear they're not even cutting it anymore and its nearly whole cilantro leaves & stems. My partner typically orders without cilantro to avoid this issue just to be talked to like she asked them to make her a burger. I want to leave this on good note so I will add the employees in person are very nice and approachable whenever plain white rice isn't involved.
Noah B — Google review
Walked in at 3:30 pm today and stood in front of 4 employees who Gen Z stared at me as I approached the front to place an order, with 0 communication or customer service skills until one of the girls said what do you want at 3:40. 10 MINUTES before being addressed is wild LMAO then she got upset when I asked for a tortilla for some reason. The rice is burnt. Proportions are horrible and the store smelled awful. Teach your employees how to properly run the place before a health inspector comes to shut it down.
MJ — Google review
This is the second time I’ve done mobile order from this location and both time they have messed up my order. I understand one is supposed to check the order however, when the purpose of mobile order is to grab food quickly and go I should be able to trust that my burrito won’t be a bowl when I open it up. This is blatant negligence and everyone should spend the extra 5 minutes to go to the Claremont location instead.
Kyler B — Google review
I have celiac disease and I mentioned that right away upon arrival and they took all the necessary precautions for me and I was very impressed. They seemed like they had prior training and it was very helpful for me.
Ben P — Google review
Placed a pickup order of 2 burritos one with guacamole on it and a side of chips and guacamole. Walked in and picked it up like usual, found out when I got home I never received my side of guacamole but my burrito got the guacamole on it. Came back they said they ran out and I guess decided that someone should pay for the guacamole but not receive it. They made no attempt to let me know they had ran out of guacamole but somehow my burrito still got some? The apparent manager was very immature and offered very little solutions to the problem. They gave me a condescending attitude when I asked for a side of queso instead. After all this I will say if you're in Eau Claire just go to the other Chipotle or even Burrachos. Avoid this one at all costs. The management is an actual joke.

The many times I have come to this place to order pizza for my kids, I swear the people that work have THE worst customer service ever. No smiles, "Hi!" or "Thank you!" or just even a polite conversation. Pizza is always a kids favorite go-to but if management doesn't train their workers' on customer service, y'all should not be working in the service industry at all. I get it. You're only there for your paycheck, not to make friends with the customers but customer service is what brings service to your business. Do better.

We normally love this place but they must've gotten new employees or something. We had an issue with a card and they were very rude about it and when we did get our food they gave us a broken tray so it fell on the floor. We expected an apology atleast but they just looked at us for a second and then walked away. On top of that the food was not up to their regular standards. I ordered an unwrap to be delivered to my house. Jessica took the order. They charged me $6.00 delivery fee to go about 2 miles. The delivery guy left my order in the door without knocking. I called wondering where my order was cause it had been close to 1 hour. Jessica was the person I talked to. Terrible customer service. I asked what happened to Jimmy John's "speedy delivery " She said they no longer go by that. She popped attitude and blamed it on me Said I could call back when I lost the attitude. I'm over it- I boycotted Jimmy Johns for years because their CEO is a trophy hunter. So, no loss because I live by Cousins subs that blows Jimmy John's away and Erberts and Gerberts is much better too. Everyone is short staffed but that doesn't mean I need to tolerate employees with issues.

I refuse to believe there is any way to justify a $6 delivery fee for a $7 sandwich. Door dash is cheaper and it's 3rd party, despite the usual delay that way. I'll wait, cause that's an outrageous amount for a delivery fee.
Logan Q — Google review
I am also from the Prairie Park area and I think this decision not to deliver to us when we are less than 2 miles away is ridiculous. I can get there within 5 minutes. I called the local jimmy johns and they were quite rude about it, apparently they have been getting other people calling and complaining about it but there is nothing they can do.
Bobby J — Google review
They will not deliver to the Prairie Park Neighborhood now after 5 years because corporate told them not too because its 6 minutes away when their max drive distance is 5 minutes. It is 1.6 miles away. Then I asked for corporate number and they "did not have it". I google searched the number, called them up and they told me even though we have hundreds of people ordering from them on a regular basis, that our neighborhood "your neighborhood's business does not matter to us enough for us to extend our 5 minute drive time radius to 6 minutes". This is very poor customer service and they are losing out on thousands of dollars a year on business.
David V — Google review
I like the store, but sometimes when I call they will tell me I'm outside their delivery area. I call them from where I work, which is exactly 1.2 miles away. So I guess when they're busy they literally won't drive a mile to deliver a sandwich.

I have driven 2 hours to eat at this location instead of others. The food at other mcd's pale in comparison to this one. Not to mention how clean this location is both inside and out. Every time I go here(which is often) I have an amazing experience with the workers, who provided me with a free meal once or twice thanks to a McDonald's app bug. This McDonald's is not just a restaurant, it's an experience.

Shout out to this McDonald’s for sheltering, my wife and me and many other travelers during severe thunderstorms in the area today. Reports of tornadoes close by. The manager calmly directed everyone to the safest places in the store and kept us posted on weather reports. Afterwards, he offered us free soft drinks. Many of us had not purchased food, but we were warmly welcomed during the storm. Thanks, McDonald’s!

Nice staff, good food and clean. They let you park there to pick up the bus from the twin cities to the Wis. Dells, Madison and Chicago route. Very convenient.

We placed a mobile order for breakfast at 10:20 and were told we couldn't have it even though we were there before 10:30. We were also told that we wouldn't get money back until a few days later. Absolutely ridiculous. Won't be coming back .

Got here for a quick breakfast while me and my brother in law were on our way to Chicago from MN. The place looked very tidy and there were probably couple of more customers other than us. We made our orders of one plate of hot cakes, a MC egg burger(without meat) and a coffee to the waitress and waited around. Our order was called out and we gathered our plate to a nearby table. My bro in law opened up his wrapper and found that it still had beacon or some meat in it and took it back to the waitress. She apologized and got back with a new burger without meat. As we ate along, we realized that our coffee wasn’t served. He went back to the waitress again and again she apologized and got him his coffee. We would have understood it, had it been a crowded time but it was not and that was what frustrating. Again, one waitress cannot determine a restaurant’s standard holistically but we only had our experience for once and that wasn’t great! *Be mindful of what you put on your plate. Don’t waste your food!*

Severely understaffed, had 15 minutes and couldn't even get food because a woman and her service dog needed cold water than my food so I gave her my spot. Like 2 employees working.

Look… I spend a lot of my free time thinking about my childhood. I was born in the 90s and I really truly love that late 90s early 2000s time. I seek out things that remind me of that. Old cartoon shows on YouTube (complete with commercials showing toys I used to beg for), videos and photos of liminal spaces that feel familiar, toys I used to love, etc. My hometown has a Godfather’s Pizza and, on special nights, we’d get to order from there. I always wanted their cheese sticks (a full order like my older brother, even though I couldn’t eat it all). We would pick up a movie and some N64 games from the video store, grab our pizza, and head home for what would always be a fun family night. When I saw that there was a Godfather’s less than a 3 minute walk from my hotel, I KNEW what I was having for dinner. When I walked into this Godfathers, it felt like going back to my childhood in a way I’ve never experienced yet. The art on the walls, the stained glass, the booths, the old menu and ancient computer monitors that served as a checkout. All of this rushed into me and revitalized my soul. Frankly, I was surprised it’s still open. There wasn’t anybody there except for one man who runs the whole show and he was about to close up to run a delivery. But MAN was I excited. I stood there waiting for my food to be done and just took it all in. It may be selfish, but I want this place to stay around. But not to change (except for more staff but I would honestly cry if the old computers were removed). Unfortunately, I’m not from this area or I would REGULARLY order, just to hold on to my childhood. Maybe even offer to work there part time. I just hope that if you’re reading this, and you’ve gotten this far, that you really consider eating here. The food is great, the atmosphere is remarkable (at least to me). This restaurant is a gem and I’m so glad I went.

Taco pizza is always great. Also hard to pass up the giant chocolate chip cookie. Update: Awesome place to stop for lunch. Ordered, enjoyed my fresh made pizza and cheese bread and out the door in about 30 minutes. Outstanding food and service as usual.

This is not a Godfathers Pizza anymore, and that is a good thing! Their pizza was seriously one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Thanks to an old Godfathers Pizza gift card we wound up here on a road trip and I’m so glad we did. We ordered the Hot combo and it was amazing! Crust is perfectly crunchy with the right amount of pizza grease. The spicy level was fantastic, just a good kick. It was jam packed with all the toppings- they do not skimp on that at all! The man (who I assume is the owner) was very friendly and helpful as we ordered. Our small pizza was ready in 15 minutes as promised! And the prices are totally fair for the quality of food you’ll get in return! We didn’t dine in but it’s a cute atmosphere to do so- very old timey kind of feel in an endearing way. Parking is very accessible. If you are considering eating here absolutely do it! 10/10 recommend.

We have been here for 5 weeks in a row. First pizza was so good, so we decided to come back and try a different kind every week, plus dessert pizza, garlic bread and wings. The wings were just ok, nothing great, but not bad either. Everything else was delicious and priced well. We always wait for our pizza for carry out, rather than calling ahead. The restaurant is very warm, pretty sure that's why no one dines in. The gentleman who always takes our order is quiet, but really nice. This is by far our favorite pizza place in the area. Give it a try!

The food I ordered was very tasty, but it was cut so uneven (huge pieces and way small pieces) it was hard to split between everyone. The taco pizza was put together very sloppy. Very few tomatoes and the pieces were huge. I ordered the special and the very young girl who helped me didn't seem to have a clue what I was as talking about. It was a medium speciality pizza, medium one topping pizza on a loaded mozzarella stuffed crust, and a dessert pizza for one price. She kept asking what size of pizza I wanted and what kind of crust I wanted for the one topping. I told her I wanted the special several times which was all mediums. I also didn't get the stuffed crust, it ended up being a normal crust. Ordered fountain sodas with free refills and after it was paid for she said that doesn't work and gave us bottled sodas, no free refills. They also had no sour cream for the taco pizza. Bathrooms were very dirty and the server never came back to check on us. We had to go up several times to get silverware and napkins and to go boxes. When I explained that we didn't get what we ordered the other girl just said sorry and I'll have to talk to her.

We are from out of state and needed dinner. Wasn’t sure if it was open when we pulled up but I’m sure glad we went inside! The medium classic (had everything) was amazing! There was only one gentleman working but we was great to us! I have always loved God Father’s pizza and this was no different! May not look like much on the outside but the food was great!

The pizza was excellent and I will be going back to order another pizza this coming weekend. The owner also was super friendly and I will be going back for more. Hopefully I'll be trying something new. I believe I found my best pizza place for to enjoy a piece of pie. The pizza is awesome and I will be coming back to get more pizza. Thank you and God bless you and your family......

Taco John's is a vibrant fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine, offering an array of mouthwatering options like tacos, burritos, nachos, and even breakfast items. Recently, I had the pleasure of indulging in their Fried Chicken Combo Grande Griller—an absolute masterpiece! The chicken was fried to perfection with fluffy rice and just the right amount of sauce wrapped up tightly and grilled flawlessly.
I go to Taco Johns pretty regularly. This time I tried their pizza. It is very good. Nice thin crust and plenty of toppings. I've tried the breakfast bowl lately and that was also very good.

I just got food, not even five minutes ago from here and I asked for it to be made fresh and no response was given to me. I got my food. My tacos were iced cold as they just came out of the freezer, and my olays were not even hot. Tato john's used to be my favorite place of all time to eat at. But lately they have gone downhill. Ehen a customer asks for fresh food, they should get what they ask for Because as I see it because I work in the fast food industry also, I've learned the customer is always right.

I loved this place in high school, but the prices are ridiculous for the service you receive. Nearly every table was dirty, and for 3/4 of our dine in visit there were zero customers, but plenty of learning going on in the back. Burrito was falling apart, and a nice hair in the bottom of my Ole's, who's to say if any other ones were ingested. Windowsills are covered in dead bugs, nails exposed coming out of trim, the wall on the corner booth is quite literally falling off.

They didn't have hot coffee for breakfast.I had to wait 15 minutes. Then the cream was bad curdled. I got the two burritos , one bacon , which was mediocre , and one was sausage , which was some kind of brown goop Inside what I would call a uncooked softshell. Easily the worst meal I've had in years.

We also ordered some food which i did online but still had to wait like 15 minutes for 2 6 piece chix strip baskets with cheese curds. Never gave me cups for my drinks, people that came in after me where getting there food before me, employees just standing around giving blizzards to customers for free cuz they made the wrong ones they said but I was never offered one who was still waiting for my food. Watched the cook put my food up which sat there for about 5 minutes when 2 employees argued over making stuff for drive Thur So my food was cold the chicken was not cooked all the way threw very small pieces of chix and they don't no how to count cuz there was only 3 strips in each basket. When I tried to call no one answered .when I got threw the next day they hung up on me and didn't refund or fix anything

Waited in the drive thru for almost 5-10min just for a melted blizzard. I just got it today too. It’s ice cream, shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but no. I expected more. No matter how hot it is, the ice cream shouldn’t have been this melted. It looks like it has been sitting before even handed it off to me too. I am actually kinda piss. I never really write reviews but this was a big disappointment. Whoever is currently at the drive through also didn’t have that great of a personality either. The cup was all wet and gross. I even ended up spilling on my jeans and in the car and I have to work like this. It’s a hot day today but there shouldn’t be any excuses for anything since it was slow. Now I have to freeze it at work because of poor service. I will never come here again. What a disappointment. I been to better Dairy Queen and this one ain’t it.

5 of us went to Dairy Queen this past Friday evening. We are in the area for a local event and live out of state. We arrived at 8:55 and went inside to order. There was a group of young girls and also a door dasher waiting for their order when we arrived. As we're waiting to order, the two staff members making orders, older female and a young male were swearing and complaining of customers coming inside because they lobby closed at 9pm. The place was an absolute mess. There was crumbs from previous orders all off the place. The mixers were full of cookie crumbs at the bottom and on the mixer it self. Along with the floor covered with crumbs and food! I have never seen an Dairy Queen this dirty before. We finally were able to order and once again the younger male started getting really upset because customers were coming inside to order. They had the main door open, but the side doors locked. The older female was literally wiping her hands on her jeans and touching her hair AS SHES MAKING THE ICE CREAM! I didn't see anyone wash their hands ONCE between orders or taking orders. The place is absolutely filthy and clearly the young man didn't want to do his job because he had too many customers!

My husband went here to get me a DQ Cake for my birthday and asked for something to be written on it. Three employees literally sat and argued over who was going to write on my cake and after 10 mins someone finally wrote on my cake! It looked absolutely terrible my almost 2 year old grandson could have written better and would prolly know how to spell! This is not the first time we’ve had an issue with them writing things on cakes and they think it’s ok to send this out the doors??? And the place was an absolute mess he said, food all over the floor and workers not washing hands and messing around cussing and complaining openly about having to do their job!?? Come on DQ train your people better! Definitely won’t come back thanks for ruining my cake because your workers wanted to be petty!

We went inside because the drive thru line wasn't moving. Didn't wait long to order, then waited 45 minutes without food. Because we needed to be somewhere by a certain time, I asked for my money back because we couldn't wait any longer. Meanwhile, several large Grub Hub orders were received, processed and sent out. That was clearly causing the hold up for all the rest of us. Being understaffed was the reason given for the delay. In my view, the facility is not equipped to handle Grub Hub along with regular on site customers. Prior visits to this location have been a fun experience. No longer.

Onion rings were delicious and the shakes were very good. Took our order quickly and effectively but delivery of the food took a long time. We got the onion rings in a fair amount of time and then had to wait too long on the shakes (which one would believe should take less time than the onion rings). Finished the onion rings before we got the shakes. There were 4 or 5 people working the window and they all were doing things but it just seemed to be disjointed and not efficient or effective.

PREJUDICE YOUNG GIRL today was my first time coming here I live in Milwaukee and the cashier was a young girl with brown hair. Very rude took my order. Made me wait 15 minutes. I’m a Type 1 Diabetic had a diabetic attack. Almost a seizure in there showed her my insulin pump going down asked her when will my order be ready after 15 minutes she took four people in front of me and told me I didn’t know then I asked her to go in the back and ask them how long it will be. I have a 4 Hour Dr. home and she still says I don’t know and then I just spoke to the main manager this morning and she is dealing with the situation. The girl is very young 14 years old. She apologized to me the manager and said she will definitely be speaking to this young girl and dealing with it very polite manager lady named Shelley. Thank you, Shelly for understanding my situation and thank you for dealing with this. This should not happen to nobody.

Terrible experience. Waited 20 minutes for a Blizzard and they messed it up four times — wrong order, melted, spilled during the “upside down” test, and finally one that wasn’t even mixed. No refund, no apology. Another family waited 15 minutes for simple cones while staff stood around. How is this place even in business? Should’ve gone to Cold Stone instead.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food chain that has stood the test of time, famous for its delicious burgers and crispy fries. One standout location features a clean and well-maintained play area, perfect for kids to enjoy while parents can relax. The atmosphere here is vibrant, with engaged families enjoying their meals together. Staff members are notably polite and attentive; one employee named AJ exemplified this by promptly cleaning up after an accident without any fuss.
It’s AJ’s first day today and he is so polite and respectful very good at his job very clean establishment. My daughter just dropped the ice cream all over the floor and he cleaned it up respectfully with no problems. Must go here to get McDonald’s definitely will be back for more very polite staff. Clean and highly functional play place. The service was much higher than other locations. The store was really clean. The play place was high end and clean. Also, the play place was highly active with the wee-ones. Didn’t see bad behaviour from the kids like at some locations. The parents were engaged and not just looking at their phones… :)

I was asked to pull up to the third window to wait for the food. It’s been over 20 minutes and then I called Them and they say they’re waiting on the hashbrowns when over 30 cars have past obviously there’s been hashbrowns in those orders. I don’t know why they would lie now my food is going to be cold.

Updating my review. McDonald's reached out and asked that I go to the link provided to let them know what had happened. I followed the link, made my report and was contacted via telephone by the manager of this store. She told me that the manager I had previously spoken to didn't even write my information in the book. They asked for my name and address, listened to me provide this information and couldn't even be bothered to write it down. I did finally receive a letter in the mail and four coupons for any combo, morning, day or night. While that was nice enough of them, the letter I received had an extremely upsetting apology letter. The letter states how sorry they are that my expectations were not met. Nobody's sorry that my burger (the patty itself) was in PIECES, they're sorry that I expected it to be in one piece. Nobody's sorry about the ketchup that was all over the inside and outside of the wrapper and nobody's sorry that my shirt is stained. They're sorry that I expected it to be neatly assembled and not falling apart. I expected what I paid for. I gave these people my hard earned money and they're sorry that I expected it to somewhat resemble the photos they advertised. So yeah, I'm still quite upset. I won't even go into how the 4 replacement meals turned out, as clearly MY EXPECTATIONS are too high. So my original review stands. Find another McDonald's. Really. I'm seriously DISGUSTED in this store. DONT even waste your time. Keep driving, there's another McDonald's on Hastings Way that meets expectations. Ew.
Ashley K — Google review
One of the most Northwoods-themed McDonald’s I’ve ever seen, and overall a really nice location. I’ve only had one issue — staff once told us to sit and wait, but after 20 minutes we found out they had marked it as a to-go order and seemed upset that we didn’t pick it up. Outside of that, I really enjoy visiting here. The touchscreen games are a fun feature, but unfortunately they’re not very accessible — if someone is sitting at the table no one else can play, and they’re not handicap accessible for children in wheelchairs or those unable to crawl into the booth, which really sucks.
Midwest M — Google review
The new design evokes a rundown industrial Park, the new play place has no legit slides, however, the cheeseburgers are artisanally constructed to be half cheese, half not. I didn't order that, but you can't deny the artistic freedom their artists are given. Also, when I asked for "no onions" I meant "no onions," but I understand the confusion.

Taco Bell is a fast-food establishment that offers Mexican-inspired cuisine, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. A recent visit during a road trip revealed friendly staff members with unique features, such as a person at the window sporting a black nose ring. Despite not knowing his name, this individual provided exceptional service and even went above and beyond by giving some chicken to a shy dog, resulting in immense happiness for the canine companion.
They dare to call these few inch long things chicken strips. The longest one was 3”! You don’t have a chance of using all your sauce. My fries were cold to the touch and soggy. I haven’t had fries that cold in my life! I had to put them in the air fryer when I got home. Thank goodness I was taking them home!! So dissatisfied! The nuggets were amazing! You dropped the ball Taco Bell, so hard it deflated! The flavor is good, hence the 2 stars.

Ordered on app. Drive thru headset batteries were dead so I had to sit and sit and sit and finally pulled up to the window then got this excuse like no. Opened almost 2 hours ago and this is how you treat your customers. Went to pull my items out of the bad the tacos weren't close so went all over the bag. Got a bacon breakfast crunch wrap someone took a bite put of it and gave it to us! Had to walk in to get it fixed took over 15 minutes to get remade. The employees do not know what they are doing or lack of supervision or care. Will not come back! You give taco bell a bad name! Everything is sloppy and just thrown together.
Jamie S — Google review
This Taco Bell is consistently bad with customer service, but today was a new low. I ordered take-out for pick up in the restaurant and waited over 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged. That’s when an employee told me through his ~8 brown teeth that he “thought I was just here to sit on my phone.” When I finally received my order, I had to remind another employee that we had two drinks with our order (which he forgot for another customer’s order shortly after), and when I tried to get a refund for our horrible service, they refused and tried gaslighting me into believing that I ordered incorrectly, which I proved false. This is the first time I’ve had issues with the method. When our party ate our food, we found missing straws, missing condiments, and missing ingredients in nearly all of our items. This is a nightmarish franchise for a corporation that consistently disappoints with customer satisfaction.

No matter which way I order food it always takes nearly 20-30 minutes before I actually receive it. Staff only talks to you at the speaker for drive thru. Otherwise it’s literally just a waiting game and then hoping that they have your order made correctly. Seriously need to do something about this. This store has been stuck at rock bottom since before Covid and it’s never gotten even an inch off the ground since. Picking up a DoorDash inside like policy says? Nope. They do not acknowledge you at all inside for any pickups. You only get told at the speaker to come inside just for them to hand it to you at the window without even talking to you again. Only conversation with customer of any sort is at the speaker. Very beyond disappointing!

I don't like the Machine that you ordered from! They always manage to forget something.Although they have a stressful lady that was before that might have got them a little upset! She was upset because they didn't have ice and wanted all her money back.I could figure out how to believe that! The traits are cold. She really didn't need the ice! I'm pretty sure she was having a bad day! But they didn't mess up on their order! I was sitting in there eating, they messed up on the next door or also quite badly!

Manager couldn't be any worse, rude manager rude workers, terrible service. Ice machine never works but they're to stupid to put a sign by the road to let customers know so once you find out it doesn't work you're stuck in line. Manager should be fired immediately for flipping customers off.

This is the worst place to get food. ANYWHERE is better. This place is so dirty and run so unprofessional. They don't pay the employees. The staff eat where the prepare food they have no dress code. They have food made in the morning served at night and they throw nothing away that is why you food looks so disgusting. As someone who worked there for less than a week I can tell you that it's is not safe to eat anything here. Not to mention the lobby is falling apart there is a 🕳️ hole in the ceiling and they still serve you the dog food they say is food like it's no problem. Chris the GM needs to be fired. He has no clue what he is doing. I hope this helps you avoid this place.

Food was great as always but the delivery driver was rude. They parked in my neighbors driveway and then told me how they didn’t want to delivery my food because they had 3 other orders and I lived 3 miles away. I then told her how I usually use DoorDash but wanted to support the restaurant’s delivery service. They then told me to only order delivery when there are multiple orders for my area or a bigger order. I’m not pleased with how they treated me and I will be ordering from DoorDash from now on.

Every time I order from the West Claremont location the food is fresh and delicious! I know it’s crazy to say this about a chain restaurant but they have my favorite wings/sauces in Eau Claire. Long waits for delivery so I usually pick up and the workers are always friendly. Two pizzas, wings and cheesy bread for under $30 is a great deal as well.
Courtney G — Google review
Dippings weren't the ones I ordered. Dough was under cooked. My pop wasn't very carbonated like no fizz when opening it so I checked the date and the pop is a couple months expired.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an impressive array of coffee beverages. If you find yourself in Eau Claire, make it a point to visit the Dunkin' on the west side, especially on Saturdays when it's bustling with activity. Despite the busy atmosphere, both inside and at the drive-thru, you'll be pleased to discover how efficiently they serve customers. The staff here are not only friendly but also quick to ensure your order is taken care of promptly.
I stop at the Dunkin’ on the west side of Eau Claire most Saturdays, and it’s consistently solid. The inside moves pretty quickly even when the drive-thru is packed at all hours of the day and also during the morning rush. The staff is always super friendly and efficient. I appreciate all of the drink options, if I’m not feeling a latte and still want some caffeine. I enjoy the options of a healthy breakfast they have and they always come out hot and fresh. I also like that mobile orders are ready on time — super convenient when I’m in a hurry. Overall, great location for a quick pick-me-up. Glad to have this spot on the west side!

I came here last week Saturday, a young man helped me and he was extremely kind! I can’t hear very well and was so patient with me and helped me through the menu. To top it off my drink was great! Such Great service!
May M — Google review
I’ve been through the drive-through twice recently for snack and bacon. I’ve been told upon request you can ask it to be warm each time. Then other employees tell me it’s only served cold and don’t want to heat it. I completely understand not wanting to heat it when you are busy. But my three year-old son were the only customers at the store. This location is less than a mile from my house, but We typically avoid this location if possible

Whoever the guy with shaggy hair is that works at this store needs a new job. Every single time i come here he is way too overwhelmed with the little bit of orders he has and the drinks are consistent wrong. Ordering ahead of time on the app and im still asked to wait when there is no one here! A macchiato with THREE extra shots shouldn't look like pure milk. Every. Single. Time.

Drive thru this morning not busy! No one ahead of me or behind me.. my drink was not full! I was so disappointed 😞 the worker just looked an me like I was crazy have a good day walked away came back like can I help you .."I have food also" o its coming I haven't been here in some time and will not be back. Would rather drive to Rice Lake for BR my gosh 😩

Went about 7:30am and the place was busy, both inside and drive up. They move everyone through pretty quickly considering. Had to try the Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich. Wow, it's good. Lots of great looking treats to choose from. I suggest you stop by when you have the chance.
John B — Google review
20 minutes of sitting waiting for our mobile order. They fudge their drive thru numbers by making everyone park and having people go back and forth delivering food. All this for mid coffee is insane.

This is my large iced matcha with light ice. I drank all of the matcha in four sips. What the hell guys? The matcha didn’t even cover the ice fully. This is how it looked before I drank anything from it. I ordered this two days ago from the same location and everything and it was great so I’m not sure what happened?

I went in hesitant because of all the reviews. Wanted to place a big order for a few friends of mine and this was the closest one. We had a sweet older lady she was superrr kind and helpful I believe her name was Denise she said that she was the manager. But honestly 10/10 definitely recommend, she was helpful kept clean and made beautiful sandwiches and got us out of there in a decent amount of time!

Very clean sandwich shop on Water St. The Boss sandwich with meatballs was great. Close to Kwik-Trip for cheaper & bigger soft drinks and chips.

Extremely stale and hard bread both times I went, I paid for extra protein on my sandwich yet recieved less than the normal amount. Requested pickles and had 2 pickles total on the sandwich.

Worst subway sandwich ever!!! Ordered from the app.. tiny amounts of meat and ingredients compared with normal subways. I order Subway 1-2 times a week. If you can’t afford to put ingredients on the app based deals… don’t agree to the promotions!

I ordered a 6" BLT was the worst sandwich I've ever had. The bread was smashed & hardly any ingredients on it. I would not recommend going here. They need to step it up!

Taco Bell is a popular fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. During my visit, I encountered exceptional service when the staff member at the counter went above and beyond to enhance my experience. Although breakfast was no longer being served, she graciously offered me a complimentary Mountain Dew new flavor as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. This kind of attentive service truly makes Taco Bell stand out as a go-to spot for satisfying cravings!
The lady taking our order was amazing! We pulled up wanting some breakfast, but they unfortunately weren’t serving it anymore—so she kindly offered us a free Mtn.Dew—New Flavor! for the inconvenience! Amazing service, definitely recommend! 🙂

Ordered 2 spicy potato tacos and they gave us two tacos without any of the sauce. Disappointed since this is the main point of getting this taco. Also they never notified us of them not putting any on it.

so here’s the deal. i’ve worked in service industry my whole life. i get when there’s bad days. but they truly had no excuse. i’m pregnant. they gave us all the wrong food. wrong sauce. and it took about 10 minutes to get our food. we were the only people at the freaking store. i wouldn’t care if i wasn’t pregnant but taco bell is fhe only food that has sounded good in days. terrible experience.

What in the world. I went here today and started to order in the drive through. I said the first thing then Nicole H said ok what else so I continued. Out from the speakers someone else freaks out saying I need to go slower??? I only ordered 3 things. And Nicole said what else. After at the window she wasn’t nice and didnt say much. Food was not good but cold. Cheese not melted on my quesadilla.

Young manager a very rude disrespectful to my wife. When asked for toilet paper, the bathrooms were filthy. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms, very poor customer service. He looked like he was eighteen nineteen years old.Should not be a manager at that age running a store. There should have been another adult there.I do not recommend this store. You do as you will, but I will never be back there again.. I am disabled, and when I brought this to his attention, he told me I can just leave. Rather than try to make it right once again, I truly do not recommend... I see a lot of negative reviews on here. My question is how many people have actually called corporate? Because I will be calling corporate Monday morning.

Had two orders for UberEats to pick up. Drive from across town. I get there and there's a trash in the driveway thru. A sign in the door that says we're closed due to short staffing. Before I called the customers that's ordered two employees get out of their car and were smoking, (Not a big deal), but also stated they're short staffed. I looked through the window and besides the two that came out to me, there were 2 others inside. 4 people and you can't complete orders? I understand that location gets bombarded with people and orders but I feel 4 people is enough to complete orders. On top of that, as I'm looking through the window, they had several to-go orders in the pickup area. I asked about that and the employee said that they were hours old. Why not throw them out then? They really need to get good staffing and management for this location. I've lived in Eau Claire for almost 16 years and it's always been like this.
Brandon C — Google review
Ordered a little after 5pm on a Monday. Drive thru was 6-7 cars backed up and inside 7-8 customers waiting, several for 40+ minutes. I believe 1/2 the staff was training which I understand makes service slower, however having to watch/listen to staff argue and manager have to take time to deal with everything isn’t good.

Love Dominoes....there website to order needs some work, but the people there are so nice and do the best for you. The pizza is very good and has lots of topping on it. They also have great specials. We will be back soon, Thanks Dominoes on London Rd in Eau Claire, WI

Horrible horrible ordering experience. Have to order online, could not find a number. Miss the old days when you just call up to order - so simple. Got there after the projected time and still had to wait 15 minutes.
Michael R — Google review
This is the worst dominos. I end up with "free pizza" all the time from here because of their awful service. They routinely forget a drink and/or dip cup. The food is frequently cold. They mix up the crust vs toppings if you order more than 1 pizza. Wrong orders entirely. Uncut pizzas. Food poisoning because of them pushing through half cooked food in a rush to get it out. Today was a new one though, when I opened my pizza it was like someone shook the box and threw it onto the steps of my porch even though the delivery instructions say to place on table inside or porch because they never knock and their app doesn't update their location properly to let you know it's come. So pizza shaken up in a box, that's okay but when went to sort it out it was two different size pizzas. A large and medium... they didn't fit together. I called to complain about the discombobulated pizza in the box and they assured me "it wasn't dropped" (i wish i thought to take a picture of it) but then had no response to why the pizza wasn't uniform in it's proportions. I can't even think of a scenario where/why this would happen but it couldn't have been good. We didn't eat it, they offered to deliver another one but we passed... I couldn't imagine a second attempt.
K R — Google review
I ordered a pizza from the dominoes on London road and when I got my pizza I knew the girl that gave it to me. She used to date one of my friends but I never talked to her before. I walked into the building to get my carry out and she flips me off, I laughed and payed for my food and get home to find my pizza just butchered. She did not say a single word to me even after giving me my pizza and change. I was a little peeved but not mad, I added her on snap chat to ask her what the deal with the pizza was and I got a snappy response and made it sound like she messed with my pizza more then cutting it like a child. I don’t know if she spit in it or what she did but she made it sound like she messed with it. I understand joking around at work but that was completely unprofessional and I will not be going to dominoes tell she’s gone or I get an apology. Just absolutely disgusting.

Burger King is a popular fast-food chain renowned for its mouthwatering grilled burgers, crispy fries, and delightful shakes. After a long hiatus from this beloved eatery, I decided to swing by the drive-thru and indulge in their offerings at home. The experience was so satisfying that I found myself wishing I'd ordered more! The flavors were incredibly savory and delicious.
Is Burger King so what else can I say it would be nice if your order was hot sometimes. And not feel like it's been sitting in the warmer or your sandwich comes out nuclear hot because they stuck it in the microwave for whatever reason

Ordered breakfast 20 mims before breakfast ends was told they only have a 3 piece french toast left so I got it and an egg and cheese croissant. No receipt to complain on ur site. My poor sandwich looked like they smashed it down and there's barely any egg its like a mm thin and the french toast was old and only 2 and a half sticks. Im super sad cause im never up in time for breakfast and then i get that ☹

The night crew at this location needs to be looked at by corporate cannot make my order right and missing my order is one thing. But the customer service by the manager was absolutely disgraceful and nothing was solved. Nothing was offered except a credit for the missing items this is embarrassing they let a kid run this place.

Have had a lot of issues with this particular location. This was my pizza I ordered last night. I live less than half a mile from the location, there’s no reason my pizza should show up like this. Also had another occurrence where my pizza was missing most of its sauce and cheese. Was literally just crust.

I usually don't post reviews and I rarely complain about food but after getting my order tonight and calling to complain to the store about my pizza being burnt and looking old and being told by the store employee hallie that it's not possible all pizzas are cooked at the same time and temp unless specified otherwise I feel the need to provide proof. Poor customer service!!
