The 40 best breakfast and brunch in Eau Claire

Lovely upscale dining experience. Our party’s selection covered the Informalist’s touted speciality, wood-fired pizza, a cheeseburger with French fries and garlic aioli, a ribeye steak, and gnocchi. Everyone was quite happy with their selection. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was sublime!

The only right words...we loved it. Wasn't expecting a hotel to have a terrific restaurant. We were so wrong. I would go here even if I wasnt staying at the hotel. We shared the steak, and ate every it. The sauce with it was sooo good. Make reservations for the word is getting out.

Great location, great atmosphere. I’ve visited EC several times and have always wanted to come. On a weekend morning, there weren’t many servers, and although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, it still felt quite busy. I ordered brunch and a Margherita pizza. The food was delicious, but there were a few flaws, like the eggs Benedict being overcooked, with no runny yolk at all.

The style and atmosphere were really good! Our server also did a good job. However, the food is not worth the price point. The plating and atmosphere are fancy, but the actual food was just kind of...fine? My gnocchi tasted only of cheese and onion. The walleye my partner had was, in their words, "insignificant. Protein and tomato." The dessert we had was very heavy on the lemon. Overall just kind of a meh experience at a high price point. As a plus, open on Sundays!

Went with a group of close work colleagues and family for a special outing. A few members of the group had previously went for brunch and had a great experience so our heads were high. When greeted by the hostess we were told about the specialty pizza, and was told around 15-20 minutes for it, so naturally me, and another ordered it. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:20ish and had our drinks in likely by 5:35 max. It was not until 6:30 at least. My margarita pizza’s cheese was burnt to oblivion. The duck breast ordered was cold on the inside, as well as the ribeye which was ice cold in the middle, which was ordered medium rare. (I will note I did not make the pizza aware to the manager as I did not notice the quality until comparing it with my family members pizza, who’s was correctly cooked.) After making this all clear the manager came out only to blow off it all off because a 12 top came in and got their order right before us. And claimed the duck was cold due to the toppings, which is not only incorrect as the middle was cold, but shady operating as a manager to incorrectly give paying patrons about the food they are ingesting. Thankfully the steak was heated up, unfortunately after this experience though I would not doubt if it was microwaved. Overall a poor display of cooking, serving, and managing.

Nice atmosphere. Austen was a great server. The two of us ordered the Ribeye. Both steaks were horrible. Loaded with fat and what seemed like muscle. Disappointed. I’d go back but not have the steak.

Joe introduced me to a fine Bourbon called Angel's Envy. I made it into the Informalist thanks to Molly's recommendation- it was the just right prompt. "Everyday I walked by without giving it a try- after having a relaxing drink and a slice of pie....I can't tell you why." Love the atmosphere for a relaxing adult evening in a vibrant Downtown. I added spicy honey to the banana jamma pizza 🍕 😋 😍 I highly recommend 👌 you stop in for a drink and experience the penny bar first hand.

We went in with 11 people (called ahead but they don't take reservations) and they were so amazing with accommodating us. I understand the struggle of fitting that many people together but all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ended up splitting the group for about 30 minutes, got drinks, and then when another table cleared out we were all able to sit together. The food was amazing with good pricing for the size, those crepes are huge! Definitely recommend coming here

Great place for breakfast!!! We were greeted right away with a friendly smiling bubbly person. They stated to sit anywhere. They even suggested going to the back. We loved walking through the building. The age, the decor, the use of the building. We sat in the back of the building next to a window. A staff person brought water as soon as we sat. Menu's and again more smiles :) ! I had coffee and my son kept to water. Food order was taken! Food arrived in an acceptable time. The lemon crepe was very good. Both of our dishes were very tasty! We highly recommend a breakfast stop when visiting Eau Claire.

Food was tasty and priced well. This is definitely more of a new age, artsy, hip location. The staff was super friendly and seemed actually happy to be here. The only complaint is when it's busy the sound is distracting. Overall, a delicious meal and supportive staff makes this a great stop to eat.

I was really excited to try out this restaurant. When I sat down I ordered a mimosa for me and my girl. The mimosa was okay. Did lack a little flavor but it did the job. Then I ordered pancakes , hash browns and sausage. The hash browns were HORRIBLE!!!! Tasted like cardboard… it lacked so much taste… Then I tried the pancakes and those were super dry and to be honest … the box pancakes I make tasted way better. Idk what they are cooking with or without but definitely not buttermilk pancakes. I’m from California and liverd in Louisiana so maybe my expectations were different… especially from me living in the south where food is full of flavor … but man this was BY FAR the worst breakfast I have ever had. I drank my mimosa and ate my sausage… that was it !!! The waitress that had a shaved head came and asked how everything was and I was honest but she barely tried to remedy the situation. Honesty you should of took the pancakes and hash-browns off my ticket since you seen I didn’t eat it. I tried to not make a fuss about it… she said she’d give me a discount…. Mannn look…. She took 3.00 of my bill… I was like are you serious…. They outta pocket. If a customer states the food is terrible and then you SEE they didn’t eat it … and still charge them .. outta line So no… I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone honestly. Especially after that customer service. Maybe they have better food off the menu but I’m not trying it. ♤ Since the owner replied let me set it straight. I'm a very straight forward individual! - I took a box because if I'm going to be charged for the food and not offered to take it off the ticket, then I might as well take it with me, right? I wasn't trying to eat anything else of the menu if the basic pancakes and hash browns were bad. That's basic breakfast... that's hard to mess up! Now I said I didn't make a fuss about the issue but it was just bad customer service and her whole attitude toward the situation... but next time I guess I should of asked for a refund. Just was bad food and bad customer service. A phone call would of been better. I'm fine with the situation, i just wouldn't advise anyone to go there. Some people really like it, but im not into false reviews. I do like the atmosphere! The guy I encounter was really kind and friendly. Best Wishes ... Hope it gets Better

Took a Lyft here from the Lismore. Located in Old Town, nice opportunity to see a different area of Eau Claire. Place was really busy but got a table right away. Waited a long time for our food, but figured our order got lost for we didn't get our meal until we noted our frustration. To be fair, they discounted our bill. Be aware they are going with trend charging for coffee refills...though again, they didn't charge us because of the long wait. Food was plentiful, but not extraordinary.

First time visit; friendly waitstaff; excellent food; comfortable environment in a historic building with artsy flair; reasonable prices; wait for seating in the coffee shop with excellent coffee! We will be back next time we are in town. (Worth any wait time you may encounter).

Good food. Their famous chicken dumpling soup was good. We also ordered the turkey melt and eggs and hash browns - the typical diner food. They have a lot of baked goods but we were too full to get anything else. $37 total with tips.

Awesome atmosphere. Awesome servers. Chicken gizzards are perfect! Pancakes were mid (a bit too thick for my taste.) hash browns were oilier than what I prefer. The coffee though.... Damm! Cinnamon hazelnut was fantastic!

Wow, I hadn't been here in years and what an upgrade. The menu is huge and the food was fantastic. I had a salad with soup and a mini loaf of bread. My cousin had a caramel roll the size of a dinner roll. The waitress was friendly and attentive. On the way out I purchased a 3-pack of peanut butter cookies. Tasted just like homemade. I cannot wait to go back and try some other menu items?

Food was incredible and a good price! Coffee was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised that they had multiple different choices for pancakes including chocolate chip, blueberry, cinnamon apple, etc. Great atmosphere! Lots of great choices to pick from! Love it!

Went here for breakfast. Food that we ordered didnt match what the menu showed. The pancakes are aweful and so was the bacon. The staff dont seem to care what you think. 40 dollar breakfast for two and wow disappointed. Oh and dont get the cinnamon roll either. Uck

Randy's Family Restaurant offers a diverse menu and exceptional service. The coffee is delightful, and their patty melt is a standout—perfectly cooked and flavorful. A great spot for any meal!

Randy’s was packed when my husband and I stopped in. We were able to be seated quickly within 5 minutes. We started with the curds and they were delicious if not slightly overdone. I got the crispy chicken sandwich in original and it was good, but there could have been more seasoning. My side salad didn’t have frills but some of the lettuce was a bad. My husband got the Reuben which he liked. The fries were delicious. I will definitely try Randy’s again. Service was great, very attentive and they brought around a sample of warm vanilla pudding when we sat down.

The food was awesome super clean tasting didn’t feel like it was deep fried, which was nice. Coffee was good lots of potatoes in my dish and not enough meat however, overall this place is really good

My wife and I went for a first time great food myself got brisket and eggs. The brisket was awesome. My wife got the huevo rancheros she loved them as for our drinks I got a coffee and my wife got a banana strawberry shake. She loved it. I will gladly come back to this place.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, it is sad to see that the food has declined over the last couple years. Even today, we went in and my wife got a brisket hash with eggs and it was lacking pretty much any brisket. Even my breakfast sandwich was mostly bread and cheese, not much egg and a small sausage patty. It feels like French Press has been cutting corners in the last year across the board with food they offer, even though they charge the same but offer less. I still enjoy French Press for their coffee and atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend getting food here.

We had a wonderful experience today! We brought our two little girls with and the servers were amazing today on 9/30/25. I also tried the maple blueberry cold foam which was amazing and the gluten free pancakes were great! The atmosphere was great and kid friendly for sure. My husband is dairy free and I’m gluten free so it can be hard to find everything all in one. Such a cute stop on our trip through Eau Claire.

They are busy but there is ample seating available. We had a relatively large group but found a place to sit right away. There is seating available outside as well for when the weather is kind. The food is good but we return to this place for the friendly and prompt service. Staff are amazing and helpful and always have a smile on their face. It is not too loud but enough background chatter to give it a very cozy feeling when you are dining in.

Super friendly and professional staff. If they make a mistake they are super quick to make it right. The food is DELICIOUS!!! All the pastries are fresh and delectable. I love this place. So cute!

I was directed here by a nice woman at BP gas station, and I am very happy she did! Awesome baked goods! I had cherry hand pie fresh out of the oven and smoked salmon srcable . Awesome good! I had to to take two cinnamon rolls to go! Highly recommend this place!

Maybe not THAT grand… The short trip to Eau Claire was coming to a close and I needed some food before I hit the road home. Around the corner from where Tim lives is a cafe he’s been to a few times. We took the short stroll there to get some breakfast and coffee in us. We popped in after the major breakfast crowd and before the lunch crowd made the small cafe packed. We took a seat towards the front by the window so we could get some natural light to go with our meal. Our waitress was a hoot. She was professional but really chatty and we all quickly got on the topic of horror movies, spooky things, and the love for reading. I got the house coffee with a biscotti stick to go with it. Tim got a latte thing. The waitress forgot my biscotti but quickly brought it over when I asked her about it. As for our meal, I ordered just the french toast and Tim got a full course meal. I wanted to eat somewhat light as I had the long drive but… when I say I got french toast… it was the most basic two slices of french toast I’ve ever had. It ended up tasting decent but for $8.49, it just felt like it needed to some with a side of protein or eggs or something. Tim said his The Grand Gatsby and Bread Pudding was good, even if he doesn’t care for Mango, which is what his Bread Pudding flavor was. The biscotti was really good, even better dipped in the coffee. The coffee itself was your typical drip coffee that you’d find across the country. Not great but not bad. It served it purpose. While it was a bit of a letdown that my last meal before heading home was less than stellar but the memories made at the cafe (and the whole trip) are one you can’t put a rating on. With that in mind, if we visit here again in 2025, I will definitely get a more substantial meal than two meager slices of french toast.

Vanilla Italian cream soda. Chicken and wild rice is truly excellent, served with a BLT and pickle 💕 phenomenal Pina colada bread pudding in the center and breakfast and iced latte for my partner. The eggs were cooked correctly and the potatoes were crisp. We came at a perfect time in the morning to sit outside with the dogs and it was just a lovely all around experience.

Hands down one of my absolute favorite cafes to visit in Eau Claire. Their breakfast menu is top notch and so is their lunch menu. Service is ALWAYS so good and the server I had today was SUCH a sweetheart. If you’re visiting Eau Claire or live here and haven’t come here for breakfast or lunch, you’re missing out!!! I got their southwest chicken wrap, chicken wild rice soup, with chips and a pickle. Everything was made to order and comes out hot/fresh.

Wanted to try a new place on a whim. Will get the good out of the way, cute decor and atmosphere, food smelled really good in there. That's it. When I approached the counter the worker gave me the Gen Z stare. No "hi", "welcome", "what can I get for you?". Just stared blinking at me silently until I started ordering. Yes, yes, we all hate our jobs, especially customer service. But you're being PAID to do it. Anyways. Ordered a large iced latte. It wasn't a latte, just an iced coffee. The latte was listed as $7.50 on the menu. The cashier had to confirm "large" "iced" and "oat milk" more than once. Not exactly a large order, how hard is that to remember? A second worker had to confirm "iced". Asked what syrup flavors they have. The answer? "We have a lot, so I don't know." If you're not gonna require your workers to know the syrup flavors, maybe have them listed somewhere? If they were listed, she sure didn't point them out to me. I asked for a to-go menu, she didn't know if they had any. This must've been her first day, no, hour working there. Comes time to pay, my $7.50 iced coffee somehow comes to $10.42. Because a splash of oat milk and half a squirt of syrup are $1 each. There goes her tip. Not even Starbucks expects $12+ for 16 ounces of iced coffee. Also it wasn't cold. Luckily for them I prefer easy ice. But if you're looking for an iced coffee, expect it to be partially warm. At least service was quick. But there was no line, so I'd hope it'd be quick. Won't be back for like 6 months or until i forget this experience. Genuinely ruined my day.

Grand Avenue Cafe is an excellent spot for coffee and breakfast. Their Moby Tuna sandwich is a standout, perfectly satisfying. The Grilled Pesto pizza sandwich is equally delicious, packed with flavor. A great choice for a tasty and cozy meal!

Seating can be difficult when they are busy, but food is always amazing! I've probably been to Grand Ave Cafe 100+ times and there have been maybe 2-3 times where I was a bit disappointed. The most recent time (two weekends ago,) was one of those times... We had a group of 8 people, all of which were split up into tables of two, and our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive at our table and food took another 30 minutes to arrive at our table after that. Normally I wouldn't complain, but for how busy they were when we arrived (half of the tables were taken,) I feel the extended waiting times, especially for a cup of coffee was a bit ridiculous. On top of that our servers all seemed like they were having a bad day with little to no communication or friendliness. The only saving grace was that our food was wonderful. That day I would have given them a 2/10, every other time I've been there 9-10/10.

Fantastic service!! Very quick made to order meal!! The serving size is perfect and meal is well balanced!! Wonderful atmosphere for large and small groups as well as individuals!! Highly recommended for those with Celiac Disease or a Gluten Allergy!! Fair prices as well!! This will keep me coming back to Eau Claire!!

My hubs and I stopped here to grab a quick bite. We were automatically seated even though it was busy which was nice. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a side salad and my hubs got the Philly cheese with fries. Both of the sammies were really good. Service was also pretty good. I gave this a 4 star because the salad was so basic. It was a hand full of the mixed lettuce you get in the grocery store in a bowl. No croutons, no cheese, no toms. It looked like their breakfast would be good too with big pancakes.

The atmosphere is one of a kind with cute novelty items everywhere. the staff and owners made you feel like you were part of their family. And the food was flawless and delicious. Made to order everything was fresh.

Delicious! Had the 2 piece fish with toast, hash browns & a cup of soup! Everything was amazing! Huge pieces of fish, perfectly crispy never frozen hashbrowns & made from scratch dill pickle soup! Will definitely be back to try more in the menu! 👍

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

Talk about great experience, great food and fantastic ownership. I can’t say enough about this place. If your driving through and visit eau claire you need to make sure you skip the big chains and give this family breakfast a try!

The food is awesome. Portion sizes are large; you definitely won’t leave hungry! Service has been great every time, food is a great value, and it’s a very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!

Wonderful place to eat breakfast and probably more as well. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, 22 yrs, and decided to have breakfast at Altoona Family restaurant. We came in and quickly an older gentleman waved us over and asked how many in our group, we said 2 and we were seating in less than a minute. Then their kind staff took over and we had Wonderful service. I ordered a classic omelette with hash browns and wheat toast, try their homemade jam, outstanding! My wife ordered pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage links. We both couldn't finish it all, great portions and delicious food! I did have the fresh squeezed orange juice, it was great! Nothing but compliments to everyone who made our little breakfast a treasure. Aaron

Flavourful. Food is like a wonderful home cooked meal. Service was good , server was lovely and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was welcoming. They definitely have returning customers ( regulars) which was wonderful to see , being called by name and noticed. If you're looking for a good spot to eat that's friendly with good food I'd definitely give this place a try.

Visiting from Texas and this place is amazing. It had a large variety of menu items. For this visit I stayed on the breakfast side of things. From skillets to omelettes you have so many choices when you come here. We had the country omelette which was cheesy and amazing. The hash browns were like any other restaurant and had the right amount of crisp to them. One of my kids had the California skillet which he devoured. My other child had a waffle covered in berries and whip cream. My wife saw huevos rancheros which she said was not Texas but they were really good.

The wait staff and food are great. They are so friendly and attentive. I was asked by different waitresses who saw me and asked as they were walking towards the back or front if I needed anything. They aren't trying to rush you they are just making sure you have everything. Breakfast is served during all open hours. So, there was something for everyone. Would eat here again.

The food is always amazing, I completely understand why it's always busy! I love (most) of the waitresses I have when I go, and have never had a bad experience with one. The atmosphere is loud sometimes, like a usual restaurant space.

Great diner experience! We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was fast, food excellent. I had the ricotta lemon pancakes with bacon, and a small Oder of biscuits and gravy, and my husband had a waffle, bacon and fresh squeezed orange juice. Looking forward to coming back next trip. Definitely a repeat.

I frequented the Menomonie Acoustic Cafe for years when I attended Stout. My favourite order was blueberry french soda, a corned beef hoogie, and maybe a bowl of beer cheese soup. I had known of the other location for some time, but this was the first ocasion that I have visited it. I belive it is a bit larger, but it has the same lovely benches for seating. I definately prefer the decor and vibes at the Menomonie location, but I assume it can't be helped that this place was not as cozy and cute. I was able to get my french soda fix thankfully. Same great food and drink. Great staff.

I usually don’t make reviews like this, but I thought it was necessary. I don’t like to talk bad about restaurants, but the experience was not the greatest. I ordered the tuna pita and a cup of vegetable soup. The vegetable soup had a very bad aftertaste. I couldn’t even eat it. It also, barely had any vegetables in it. I would never suggest ordering that. My boyfriend got the chili and it was amazing! I think there’s other good things on the menu, but what I ordered was not it. The sandwich was good, but the tuna was mid it was still fishy. Needed more mayo. The real reason I made this review, was because I ordered an Italian soda because I can’t have caffeine. Unfortunately, there were hairs all over the outside of my cup. Hair, from somebody working in the kitchen. Not just one, multiple of them. I do not have short, black hair, I have long orange hair. My boyfriend’s coffee was delicious though. It was about $45 for two sandwiches, 2 cups of soup, poverty nachos, and two drinks. I thought the nachos had a funny after taste as well. So I couldn’t have more than a couple bites. They’re just microwave nachos. Just disappointed, there was hairs all over my cup.

My sister and I made the trip over to Eau claire WI to collect our farther who lived a few doors up from this awesome cafe. It used to be one of his favourite places to go. We loved it there as the staff and the whole setting was awesome 👌 If you're ever passing and need a pit stop this is your place to go. Ooh and if you want an awesome tattoo then visit my cool cousin Tyree just down the street. Keep up the good job guys and that we will be back to see you again soon.

Amazing pita sandwich, iced Americano where you can taste the coffee!! And they fed my team of 27 women’s lacrosse players from Colorado College! Coming back!

I love this place because they open their tables,(and hearts), for the homeless. It has NOT hurt their business whatsoever. On behalf of the many homeless people in Eau Claire, I, we, thank you! I wish other businesses would follow your kind example!

Me and my girlfriend stop here every time on our way through Eau Claire and every time its just as good as the first time. The daily specials are a good deal and the soup and sandwich combo is perfect.

Very nice coffee shop that’s part of a little store. They make delicious smoothies. I highly recommend the house-made wild rice burger. 😋 Fries were really good, too. We also snagged some THC seltzers and a delicious looking loaf of sourdough break with garlic and olives. And it’s not far off the highway on our way to Chicago. Plenty of space to sit indoor and a little patio out back.

Great coffee shop, a huge variety of fresh roasted coffee. Beautiful coffee machine. You can grind your coffee here. They also have a lot of delicious cheeses, wines and other good stuff. Thanks to Ryan! ☕️

I love Coffee Grounds! Whether you're there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, a company or organization gathering, or just to chat with a friend, Coffee Grounds had it all! Great local finds, fresh baked goods and coffee, and an atmosphere that allows for great comfort and conversation. Great bourbon and wine selection and not too mention Modicum Brewing shares the space for those craft brew fans. You can also get pours of some the more popular bourbons in the Modicum Brewing side.

I’ve been a customer of this establishment for over 20 years, when it was still in its former location Always a good stop for specialty goods and used to visit K Point when they were here also. Took 15 minutes to get the coffee we ordered, meanwhile people who came after us were getting theirs quicker. They seem to do orders for their regulars first.. there was 2 older people hovering the counter, and of course they were taking to the barista who did their orders first. Did not have a welcoming feeling, we were in there before anyone else and yet we waited the longest for a coffee that took them under a minute to make.

Great coffee, great food and relaxing atmosphere. I have been here a few times and it’s been great every time. Worth the stop! Breakfast burrito was delicious. And their cinnamon swirl latte (special of the day) was so good!

Really neat restaurant. Good food. Very friendly service. Got the falafel pita and the Minnesota turkey sandwich. Both were very fresh and very good. Good wine selection. Lots of cheeses and other kitchen knickknacks to browse. Worth the stop.

Delicious drinks, done dirt cheap! Situated in a hotel is Eau Claire Downtown Coffee. Or better known as ECDC. I saw this place when I first visited Eau Claire but never got the chance to go. I told my friends that when we hang out for vacation, my only one real request is hitting up ECDC at some point. Not because I love rock music but because I love the ingenuity of the name… and maybe because it reminds me of AC/DC every time I think about it. We popped in on our quiet day and were greeted with a really nice coffeehouse and some really nice baristas. I ordered my usual americano while Tim and Matt got drinks and a small baked good. We took a seat at one of the tables and just chatted and talked about our plans for the day. My americano was really good. I noticed americanos up around Eau Claire were more subtle and subdued versus back home, which by this point I was getting used to it. Tim and Matt both got a latte that sounded good to them and a baked good. Matt got a macaroon and Tim got a tiramisu cake square. I don’t have much to say about this place that I haven’t said a million times already. It was really nice inside. It had a very black theme to it. Maybe inspired by being somewhat named like this one hard rock band? There were some Star Wars meditating posters in one corner of the dining area. We didn’t stay long before we slowly sauntered on to our next destination but I am 110% glad we stopped in and finally got to check it out. It was definitely worth the wait. Check it out sometime if you are in the area and need a break from the chain places (or try one of the other good places to get coffee in the area, which is what I suggest). Rock on and stay caffeinated.

Had an amazing time at ECDC - Eau Claire Downtown Coffee for my monthly coffee shop adventure! The vibe was so relaxing, and the Matcha Latte was absolutely perfect. Paired it with a bagel topped with the most incredible chive dill cream cheese—seriously the best! Highly recommend this spot! 💜

Great spot to work on a Tuesday. Papaya salad was unexpected and very tasty. The seasonal earl grey macaron was perfection. The wall art is a little weird.

It’s been 10 years now since the first time I’ve been here. And have been back many times since. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy a warm drink or snack Personally I like a flat white but have been known to order a plain latte or Americano black as well. I’m pretty simple when it comes to my coffee orders I’ve also spent time here working with my laptop, always a nice space to visit and has been an excellent addition to Downtown EC

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but my experience fell a bit short. My drink was made incorrectly twice — the first time it was served hot instead of iced, and the second time I later realized there was no espresso added. I also noticed I was given the wrong size. The staff were friendly, but the attention to detail just wasn’t there, especially for a $21 order. I hope this was just an off day, because the atmosphere and menu seem great otherwise.

I was in town this week for a conference and came daily. The food was delicious and made fresh. I got the peanut butter toast and highly recommend. The coffee was pretty good twice but it was different every time I ordered. And it was also just warm so o had to explicitly as for it to be hot. The atmosphere is great for getting work done and The one day the music was especially good. The staff are nice enough but not overly friendly. Overall I’d come back (I did every day I was here).

Service was awesome. Food and drinks came out fast. The garlic asagio was house made and DELICIOUS! Love that they offer gluten free options. Eco friendly. Prices were good as well.

The food was fantastic, the portions were quite large, 1 free soda refill (if I remember correctly) and, my personal favorite thing food-wise was that the lettuce, onions, and tomato toppings for my burger were left off to the side so I was more easily able to select what I did and didn't want on it. He got a chicken wrap(pictured). The soup, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and fried pickle coins were delicious as well. Service was good, and restaurant was clean and welcoming. We absolutely want to go back.

Greeted at entrance by smiley friendly associates, timely courteous service staff, food was exceptionally good. Portion sizes were perfect. Broiled fish was delicious, seasoning was right on point. Baked potato topped with green peppers & onions was tasty and well-sized. The dinner roll had a sweet Hawaiian flavor, nice touch AND the chicken dumpling soup was just like my Mom's - made from scratch!

My husband & I had the best experience at Wheaton Family restaurant! Our server Brady was very accommodating. He greeted us with a smile and was very social able. The Philly was hands down the BEST Philly we ever had! We hope to visit again soon!

It was the worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. We got totally forgotten, didn't even get drinks, until we told them that we haven't had service yet. I was totally in shock about how bad it was, because they had plenty of waitresses. Their food was good, but it barely made up for anything. My portion was smaller than I thought it would be but it tasted very good.

This is a very good place to grab a quick and easy meal while I worked on some homework. Service was great and really friendly. They answered all my questions and gave me menu suggestions. Food felt like a homemade meal I didn't have to cook myself. Also the fries were good.

I was seated at 5:40pm and walked out at 5:56pm, having seen my server twice- once delivering my drink and once bussing another table. There were five tables eating and two servers. The food has not been good enough to justify the service, and good service would keep me plenty happy coming back for the fair prices for okay food.

305 VFW 🇺🇸 is a hidden Wisconsin gem! My family LOVES their breakfast sunny side up, scrambled, or any flavor of pancake, they nail it every time. The service is top-notch (special shoutout to the sweet, no-nonsense older lady 🫶). Their Bloody Marys? 10/10, and they come loaded! The place is full of charm. The walls covered in history, fun pull-tab games, and yes, you can grab a lottery ticket while you’re there. The new setup is gorgeous with a river view and even a private smoke room in the back. It’s the kind of spot you go once and instantly become a regular.

Fun, great place, great bartenders, good breakfast and lunch, excellent Philly cheese steak sandwich! Big hall in the back for parties. Overlooking beautiful Dells Pond.

It was very busy Friday at 6 pm. We got a table within 10 minutes and we were seated. We had a party of 6. It took a long time for our food to get there 45 minutes. Some of my parties' food was cold 🥶. I paid the bill and left. I didn't get to see how attentive the waitress was. But my food was delicious! I ordered the shrimp 🍤 😋.

We came here at random while passing through the area for the night, very glad we did and sad we don’t live close to come back! We looked ahead at the menu, the prices were right and everything sounded good. We had a hard time choosing what to order but everything we had was great! I actually chose based on another review of the skillets. Our server was great, she was obviously multitasking but was still attentive. We were able to sit outside to enjoy the weather but the inside atmosphere seemed enjoyable as well. Parking is tight as mentioned in a lot of reviews, we were lucky enough to get the only open spot. Bigger vehicles would have a hard time parking here.

Thought the name was interesting so we decided to try this place out. Wow! I'd go again in a heartbeat. I'm not sure which was better, the food or the service. And the prices? Extremely reasonable. Ample portion size. So tasty! All six of us loved it.

Pretty good overall. I had the french toast, eggs, and bacon. All okay. Bacon was vey thin. Other orders were okay too. Fries were lukewarm-would have been awesome if they were hot.

The hamburger was a thawed frozen, unseasoned, flavorless patty lost in a huge bun. California burger w an unripe tomato and a pile of lettuce. Very disappointing. Rueben was fair. Fries were ok and plentiful. Service subpar on a non busy evening.

The name caught my attention as we drove by on the way to our hotel the night before, so I looked this place up on Google Maps. We had a late breakfast here the next day. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the corned beef hash; M. had an omelette with more meat than I have ever seen in an omelette, and he said it was delicious, as well. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely eat here again when we are in the area. Thanks for a great meal!

Busy Sunday morning crowd. Appeared to be a wait for a table, but hostess offered up the bar for immediate seating. The Bloody’s looked amazing, but this morning, Bloody’s weren’t in play. Food was delicious. Service was great. The bartender worked the entire bar for food and drinks AND the drinks for the tables! Amazing job….she apologized to us for the wait…(which there wasn’t any). Highly recommend!

I posted a review for this place when it first opened but must have deleted due to not liking the picture Anyway here we are several years later - still a great place for soup, sandwiches and gelato, especially if you work nearby in one of the professional buildings. If you don’t Xavier is still a good place to stop since they are located right in the lobby. I will definitely be back to try a hand pie and affogato

I had a delicious breakfast burrito with a side of chipotle sauce. Quiet, clean, and nice ambiance. This is located right as you enter this medical office bldg on the right. Recommend!

We tried the meal of the week, which was a Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted veggies and a salad with an orange vinaigrette and it was fantastic; the kids also enjoyed it! We appreciate the oven ready/warm-up options to make a weekday meal delicious and quick. You could tell everything was homemade also which is very important to us. These would be perfect to order when you're hosting such as a kids birthday party, retirement dinner, etc. Bonus- we have leftovers too and fed 5 so you could easily feed 8. Give this one a try folks, you won’t be disappointed! 👏

I finally got over to try this place for breakfast and was very pleased with the food, service, and space that it's in. I will definitely be back to try their in-store baked goods like carrot cake and banana cake as well as their soup and sandwich menu. The coffee was delicious, and I tried the spinach/ feta and zatar flatbreads, and they were very tasty. The building is beautiful, and it's right on the River Prarie trail, so we went for a walk by the river after our brunch.

We are at City Eats during a recent stay at the Metropolis Resort. We dined in for supper but also got a breakfast order in the morning to take back to our room. They had a nice selection of family friendly food items. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive.

We thought we might as well take advantage of a cafe like restaurant inside the Metropolis Resort, and it did not disappoint. While it's no 5 star restaurant, the food was cooked and tasted perfect, the service was fast and the price was standard to restaurants outside the resort.

Food was not cooked to our liking per our order. Appetizers should come BEFORE the rest of your food. Was told that this happens. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Pizza was cold, by the time we finished our appetizers. It was really hard to enjoy. Spent enough on our meal and it was not worth it. Service was slow and not the most attentive. Mai Tai was not made correctly, not even as described on the menu. Kinda ruined the birthday we celebrating... There was no atmosphere, unless you consider the Yogi Bear Cartoon that was playing on a screen.

Foods pretty good, just don't expect to get all of it; each visit the server either gave us what we didn't want (alcohol to my pregnant wife) or missed a part of an order altogether. They were polite though.

The atmosphere is great! The food was really good. But the service was really slow on Saturday afternoon. There weren't too many people in the actual restaurant, however there was a craft show happening across the hall which could have made the service slower. BUT mostly we weren't impressed with the server herself. Very first impression of her was that she didn't want to be there and almost like we were an inconvenience to her for being there. When she stopped at our table to check on us she barely stopped long enough to hear the answer. Just not the best service experience.

Walked in around 2, bartender made our drinks and we asked for menus. Only one other family in there and they cashed out within 5 minutes of us being there. 30 minutes go by, both of us had empty drinks for 15 and 30 minutes total had passed and she still hadn’t come back to us. Ended up walking out. Didn’t get her name. As a server I was appalled by not only the lack of service, but also by her sticking both of our glasses in the ice instead of using a scoop. I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere for food

Such a beautiful atmosphere so sad service is lacking..we wanted to give them a chance though other reviews say to steer clear..we were staying at the hotel such convenience to have this beautiful restaurant downstairs..walked in for breakfast, one other table, 3servers, 1bartender, not acknowledged by ANYONE. Didn't say to wait to be seated so we sat ourselves & waited patiently. Waitress walked by with food for the one other table..nothing was said no hi, no do you need menus, NOTHING. While all three servers stood behind the wall we sat there like idiots. After a good 15minutes we left and went elsewhere (The French Press was AMAZING btw). Just sad! So convenient for hotel guests menu selection looks great but service lacking. We own restaurants too and ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt in this industry but in this case it really is best to steer clear.

I picked up Mr. Beast Burger right about 12am on a Frida night - the burger wasn't great, but I got Buy 3 Get 3 Free cookies from Perkins and they were fantastic! the menu looks good, but the only experience I have is late night 50% off appetizers - mozzarella sticks were a solid melted blob of mess when I got home and unpacked it - besides the center , which was still raw.... never got back to them to address this, so cannot comment on how they handled a complaint... The raspberry cheesecake empanadas (I think) were delicious when I warmed the in the air fryer the next day, Will definitely try them out sometime soon - there aren't a lot of options for late night food that isn't drive through in Eau Claire...

Evan, our server was absolutely amazing! He listened clearly to what we wanted and went one step further to provide a bit more. He has a great personality and interaction was pleasant and engaging. And Faith, the manager stopped to see how everything was, and went that extra step too to help us find something in the area to do. Real people, real good food, and a real enjoyable experience. If in the area, this isn’t just any old Perkins.

My husband and I took a chance again to try Perkins here in Eau Claire. This is the 3rd time in 11 years. It’s NEVER been good food. We had a wonderful server. The food basically tasted like food you are forced to eat in the hospital or a nursing home. It gets worse! My husband had coffee and ordered his breakfast. I had a Diet Coke. $46.00 and it was the very 1st time he couldn’t even finish his breakfast. Every bite just made you feel more nauseated. We left to do our grocery shopping and things got much worse. It was the LONGEST GROCERY TRIP we’ve ever had. We were both so sick from the breakfast they served, that we both had to fast walk to the bathroom several times. Coming out of our bodies from top to bottom. It was hard to even grocery shop because the sight of all the food made us feel so much worse. We literally paid more for this breakfast than going to Texas Roadhouse. Every 3-5 years, we decide ‘let’s go to Perkins to see if they’ve any better. Answer is, it’s WORSE!! We also questioned our selves when we pulled in and there weren’t many cars. And the restaurant was dead. Should have been the 1st sign. If we hadn’t paid cash, I would have deny the charges as it was that bad! We both made the decision that we will NEVER eat at a Perkins again! $46 to only make us miserable. I do hope this review is helpful.

Tried the new "Pickle we Gallo Burger" today. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! Juicy and Flavorful. Enough to satisfy and make you want more!! The staff is exceptional. Hannah our server was polite courteous and very helpful. Jade and her staff are wonderful.

I come here almost every time I visit family in the area. Food is super tasty. Can't go wrong at Mom's. Coffee is really good, I think Eau Claire has one of the better tasting municipal water.

I loved Mom‘s kitchen. The food was very good as are the portions. Staff are friendly and attentive. Depending on when you get here, you might have to wait, but the wait is well worth it. We will be coming back again for sure. Give it a try and support a family business. You will not be disappointed. By the way, they serve much more than simply breakfast.

I’m surprised how much the menu has changed from previous years. I appreciate the new salads. The price was similar to a sit down restaurant but without the at hospitality feel. Ordering here is a little robotic feeling and I felt a little clumsy because I don’t go to Panera often. I was sad to see many of the unsweetened teas are now behind the counter and almost $5!

Inside is kinda chaotic during lunch hour but other than that the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend for someone who’s on a diet or just wants delicious healthy food.

This place always seems under staffed with staff telling us it would take 20 minutes to get our order if we chose to stay. Seemed like they were encouraging us to leave. It was up within 10 minutes!! Tables have not been wiped off between client at least 3 times when I was there including today. I moistened a napkin and wiped off the crumbs on my table before we sat down - not at all inviting! It seems the quality at this location has really gone done at a place that was one of my favorites in Eau Claire.😔

I generally love Panera Bread. This particular one wasn't very clean. It looked like the floor hasn't been swept in a couple days. There also was not even a third of the amount of chicken that comes on a chipotle chicken avocado sandwich at any other one of their restaurants. I think this one store needs a little leadership...

It's been years since we've been in here, ordered online before, stopped in today, the host explained the menu to us and was very accommodating, they went above and beyond when there was an issue with the order we placed. We are extremely satisfied with our experience, and the food was amazing, as usual.

This is nice place for light food. Beards are awesome so is the variety in the menu. Taste is not that great if you eaten out a lot outside in restaurants unless you want light and diff food 👍🏼

When went to our table we saw a stack of dirty dishes on the garbage disposal area. There must have been 30 plates, 15 bowls and other items and the floor was a mess in many spots.

Someone please tell me why this place is rated so high? I feel like I’m lost. I ordered chips and queso and a 2 taco place steak and it was $23, and my steak tasted like alpo dog food. Like Taco Bell has better meat. The steak was grey! Look at the picture. It tasted like white people taco night the restaurant. Like everything was store bought or processed. Service was great, but I won’t be back.

Delicious, flavorful, authentic Mexican food - for breakfast! The environment is always clean and welcoming. Whenever we eat here, it’s like going on a little culinary vacation away from the Midwest. We’ll definitely be back to Silly’s!

We stopped in Eau Claire as a halfway point during our travels and decided to try it out. We are SO glad we did! Delicious food - I had the street tacos - combo plate (1 barbacoa, 1 pastor, 1 carnitas) and every single one had amazing flavor! Their salsas and guacamole are also delicious (I could drink the red salsa it's so good). Staff was very friendly. I will definitely recommend this gem to anyone I know coming to the area (we're from Illinois). Any time we're back in the area we're definitely stopping in!

Fantastic🥲 I have never had a proper burrito in my 27 years. This was amazing. I think I described it to our waitress as a “religious experience.” And it was just that! Thank you for having so many gluten free options & taking such great care with the allergy! I will be thinking of this burrito for a very long time since I’m not from the area!

Shout out to this McDonald’s for sheltering, my wife and me and many other travelers during severe thunderstorms in the area today. Reports of tornadoes close by. The manager calmly directed everyone to the safest places in the store and kept us posted on weather reports. Afterwards, he offered us free soft drinks. Many of us had not purchased food, but we were warmly welcomed during the storm. Thanks, McDonald’s!

Nice staff, good food and clean. They let you park there to pick up the bus from the twin cities to the Wis. Dells, Madison and Chicago route. Very convenient.

We placed a mobile order for breakfast at 10:20 and were told we couldn't have it even though we were there before 10:30. We were also told that we wouldn't get money back until a few days later. Absolutely ridiculous. Won't be coming back .

Got here for a quick breakfast while me and my brother in law were on our way to Chicago from MN. The place looked very tidy and there were probably couple of more customers other than us. We made our orders of one plate of hot cakes, a MC egg burger(without meat) and a coffee to the waitress and waited around. Our order was called out and we gathered our plate to a nearby table. My bro in law opened up his wrapper and found that it still had beacon or some meat in it and took it back to the waitress. She apologized and got back with a new burger without meat. As we ate along, we realized that our coffee wasn’t served. He went back to the waitress again and again she apologized and got him his coffee. We would have understood it, had it been a crowded time but it was not and that was what frustrating. Again, one waitress cannot determine a restaurant’s standard holistically but we only had our experience for once and that wasn’t great! *Be mindful of what you put on your plate. Don’t waste your food!*

Severely understaffed, had 15 minutes and couldn't even get food because a woman and her service dog needed cold water than my food so I gave her my spot. Like 2 employees working.

Food was gross, nuggets were stale and felt like they were sitting out for a hot minute, same with the fries which came cold. McDouble was good though. Lady at the speaker doesn’t speak much at all which made things pretty confusing when ordering.

Was ordering take out and was missing a happy meal so I called and Kathy their said that she was going to send me coupons for a free happy meal. 15 day later I call because I have yet to get my coupons through the mail the worker said that I was not on the coupons list and then said that I said a bad word to Kathy even that I didn’t and then the worker rudely hanged up and never got my coupons and also Kathy I didn’t say a bad word to you

Service is decent here, in person. The doordash menu is very limited for this location though. Recommend you manually change the location in the app to the Mccdonalds off clairemont for a better selection if you are using doordash. Also there is the matter of window confusion. More than once I was told I pulled to the wrong window after paying at the first window. However the lady who took my money never specified which window I should pull too.

Horrible customer service. When I got to the ordering mic, I sat there for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. Then when someone finally came on they asked if we needed more time? So I was confused, and said how we’ve been waiting on them and laughed about it. But the worker had a crazy attitude and snapped back saying “the robot asked you a question and you didn’t respond.”when I also kept saying “hello?” Every like minute before they finally said anything. Then they wouldn’t let us order a shake because it was “past 1:30” it was 1:32 at this point. So we would have had more than enough time. I understand we got there kinda late, but the store is 24 hours. The attitude I got was wild. Very disappointed cause normally I love this McDonalds.

Ordered 3 cheeseburgers with extra onion. One had no onion, one had no pickle and the last one had no cheese. Kinda disappointed when I came home to see that saying I live 30 minutes away and couldn’t get a refund or the correct order

Normally love this McDonalds, during the day. Just went there early 2 AM 05/25/25. Was the only person in the drive thru. Ordered two quarter pounder meals, Sat in the drive thru for 10 min, when one guy came to the window he said nothing to me at all. Then waited over 10 more minutes and finally got my food and still nothing was said to me at all. Very awkward encounter, took way too long for a meal like that, especially with being the only customer in the drive thru. Wanted to leave this here so it can be a better experience because during the day with the daytime workers it is very good, I am not sure what went wrong here tonight at all.

I just got food, not even five minutes ago from here and I asked for it to be made fresh and no response was given to me. I got my food. My tacos were iced cold as they just came out of the freezer, and my olays were not even hot. Tato john's used to be my favorite place of all time to eat at. But lately they have gone downhill. Ehen a customer asks for fresh food, they should get what they ask for Because as I see it because I work in the fast food industry also, I've learned the customer is always right.

I loved this place in high school, but the prices are ridiculous for the service you receive. Nearly every table was dirty, and for 3/4 of our dine in visit there were zero customers, but plenty of learning going on in the back. Burrito was falling apart, and a nice hair in the bottom of my Ole's, who's to say if any other ones were ingested. Windowsills are covered in dead bugs, nails exposed coming out of trim, the wall on the corner booth is quite literally falling off.

They didn't have hot coffee for breakfast.I had to wait 15 minutes. Then the cream was bad curdled. I got the two burritos , one bacon , which was mediocre , and one was sausage , which was some kind of brown goop Inside what I would call a uncooked softshell. Easily the worst meal I've had in years.

I tried coming in to get my favorite food as I used to do. I googled the hours and it said you are open till 11pm. Well they are not open till 11. They closed at 10. They are only open till 11 on Fridays and Saterdays ig.... please update this! I want my favorite soup!

Just wow so we got dinner form taco John's and after the attitude and having to have the manager take our order due to the use of a coupon the place was dirty like a barn the floor sticky and smelled like rotten trash in the restaurant we received our food the off going manager yelling at all his staff to hury up he has an appointment grabbed food and sat down to eat I get home and the extra guac and sour cream was not extra I returned the chicken that was dry overcooked and gross and the taco salad and was asked 5 times why it's not good enough for me

I ordered a blackberry sage refresher (with water) thru the drive through on Monday 5/5 at 5:45 pm at the Starbucks on Hastings in Eau Claire and got my drink order right away. I was rushed after work for sports pick ups, so didn’t notice that the drink was old and possibly been partially drank? I noticed that it did not taste right after one sip. It was warm with melted ice and honestly upset my stomach. Typically a refresher’s ice lasts for hours, so not sure how long the drink I was given was sitting around. Look at the color in the photo. I will be reporting this employees poor judgment to the store manager. This is a violation for establishments serving food and beverages and frankly dangerous. I typically have wonderful service during the morning hours in this location but would caution visiting later in the day unless something changes. I go to the Hastings way location every single day. The past week the scanner at the drive through has been broken. I had one employee who went out of their way to scan my phone on another register. But then they have to touch my phone which is already an ick. So it’s either let someone take my phone across the store and touch it or just not get my points. I go there every day so my points add up fast. It’s not worth going to this location to not get the points from my purchases. On top of I constantly ask for cinnamon powder on my drink and they can never seem to get it right.

It’s been over 20 minutes and then I called Them and they say they’re waiting on the hashbrowns when over 30 cars have past obviously there’s been hashbrowns in those orders. Updating my review. McDonald's reached out and asked that I go to the link provided to let them know what had happened. I followed the link, made my report and was contacted via telephone by the manager of this store. She told me that the manager I had previously spoken to didn't even write my information in the book. They asked for my name and address, listened to me provide this information and couldn't even be bothered to write it down. I did finally receive a letter in the mail and four coupons for any combo, morning, day or night. While that was nice enough of them, the letter I received had an extremely upsetting apology letter. The letter states how sorry they are that my expectations were not met. Nobody's sorry that my burger (the patty itself) was in PIECES, they're sorry that I expected it to be in one piece. Nobody's sorry about the ketchup that was all over the inside and outside of the wrapper and nobody's sorry that my shirt is stained. They're sorry that I expected it to be neatly assembled and not falling apart. I expected what I paid for. I gave these people my hard earned money and they're sorry that I expected it to somewhat resemble the photos they advertised. So yeah, I'm still quite upset. I won't even go into how the 4 replacement meals turned out, as clearly MY EXPECTATIONS are too high. So my original review stands. Find another McDonald's. Really. I'm seriously DISGUSTED in this store. DONT even waste your time. Keep driving, there's another McDonald's on Hastings Way that meets expectations. Ew.

One of the most Northwoods-themed McDonald’s I’ve ever seen, and overall a really nice location. I’ve only had one issue — staff once told us to sit and wait, but after 20 minutes we found out they had marked it as a to-go order and seemed upset that we didn’t pick it up. Outside of that, I really enjoy visiting here. The touchscreen games are a fun feature, but unfortunately they’re not very accessible — if someone is sitting at the table no one else can play, and they’re not handicap accessible for children in wheelchairs or those unable to crawl into the booth, which really sucks.

The new design evokes a rundown industrial Park, the new play place has no legit slides, however, the cheeseburgers are artisanally constructed to be half cheese, half not. I didn't order that, but you can't deny the artistic freedom their artists are given. Also, when I asked for "no onions" I meant "no onions," but I understand the confusion.

Caribou Coffee is my favorite coffee shop! Their brews are high quality and flavorful, and the atmosphere is like taking in a perfect breeze of a summer lake. This location is conveniently located on Hastings Way in Eau Claire. The baristas are always friendly and the drive through is super quick. I am always pleased with the quality of drinks and breakfast items, it makes for a great morning routine when I’m in town! My go-to favs ate the Carmel High Rise Latte and the Chicken Chorizo burrito! I only wish they had a brown sugar syrup - and they would be perfect!!! Maple is a good backup plan, though!

This is a necessity for anyone after a trip to Down to Earth. Their drinks are fantastic and their food has a great variety. Also, don’t forget to check out their freezers for food to take home.

Super cute cafe! Stopped on our way through Eau Claire. Loved the atmosphere and food. We had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich, bbq pork pizza/flatbread, and a mango smoothie. A cozy end to a fantastic vacation. Tim described Racy D’lenes as what coffeehouses were like before they exploded everywhere. What he would consider to be a true coffeehouse. This got me excited as I do like a genuine cozy coffeehouse that does it’s own thing and Racy was just that. We rolled in around 9am to get coffee and enjoy the quietness before Matt and I drove home. The sky was overcast with the constant threat of rain. The inside of Racy was nice and cozy. I got my americano, a giant chocolate chip cookie and a funny sticker for my final Eau Claire experience. Tim and Matt both got the Cadbury Egg latte. The place was a bit busy so we ended up sitting on this couch. We weren’t crammed in there but 3 grown males put it to the test. I kid you not, this americano and cookie may have been the best thing I had during this whole trip. I know I’m easily excitable and tend to give high praise for most things but those two things were legit delicious. The cookie was so good that it made me wish I got a hot coffee just to dunk it in as that sounded divine. Both Matt and Tim said their latte were amazing and tasted just like a Cadbury egg. As we sat there and made small talk and went over the fun of the last few days, I couldn’t help but look around and notice all the little things strewn about the place. There was a tank with a live turtle in it. There was a skeleton handing from the skeleton talking to someone (I couldn’t see where the line went) via a can and string. The walls were painted or had stuff hanging up. This place must’ve been here for a long time now. Speaking of the cozy feeling, if this place had a fireplace, I would’ve fallen asleep so easily. I was already nodding off due to the weather and being perfectly content and settled in, it wouldn’t have taken much more to slip off into a light snooze. Now that would’ve been a first for me, falling asleep in a coffeehouse… but if you’ve been here on a rainy day, you would understand. Eventually we made our way outside and were doing the midwestern goodbye when it started to sprinkle. That put a little pep in our step to get back to our cars and say goodbye to Eau Claire. Two things to keep in mind for visiting here is that its on the backside of The Nucleus and that since it’s on the backside of a building, parking is very limited and you may need to park on the street if it’s busy. I used the drive-thru at 6:50 a.m. on November 6th. I ordered a bagel and a hash brown and Julia gave me my order total without allowing me to order any other food. She didn't ask me if that completed my order. She just rushed me forward like I was an inconvenience to her. I was supposed to be ordering for six people. The other McDonald's will have to get my order because I'm not going through the drive-thru again. Someone needs to coach Julia in drive-thru and remind her that without customers you don't have a paycheck. Customers are the reason you're there.

Dont let that old bag manager they hired serve you. She purposely puts in the wrong drink order to overcharge you even though you tell her 10x to change it correctly. Shell argue with you unintelligibly and youll be forced to pay more for TEA or whatever else your ordering.

Usually from time to time I come to order my frozen matcha; usually they get it wrong from time to time. But this time it was a mocha and matcha mixed. They don't pair well together. Though the service was good.

Then the girl I asked seemed irritated and had the girl that was already swamped make it for us. I know she was rushing but I had to wipe off my own cup from the milk running down the side. The whole experience at this location was just clunky, not how my visits (at other locations) usually go. The crew should be more aware and attentive when they see people waiting at the “pick up” part of the store.

I love this place. I'm happy that they have build one in Eau Claire. I ordered my favorite sandwich and the yummy waffle fries. The staff that took our order was polite, friendly. We got our food in a reasonable time n everything was absolutely correct n delicious. The staff that checked on us was polit, friendly, and asked if we needed anything.. I will definitely come again

This location started out strong, but now is falling fast. The last two or three times we've had it the food was lacking. Chicken not flavored right, chicken dry, chicken minis dry, even the sweet tea is wrong. It stinks, I grew up in the south so this restaurant should be a nostalgic reminder of home, but this is not the case.

Workers were amazing. My son had just had his teeth pulled and wanted a shake but couldnt suck out of a straw so they made it special for him so he could drink it without the straw. Employee kept walking around checking on guests. I ordered dine in but needed an order to go as well and they made the to go order fresh as I was getting ready to leave.

‼️ WARNING!! If you have to pay with 100. DONT COME HERE!! A worker was very nice to me and said they could break it at the window. So I go to the window and the manager was waiting with a NASTY attitude! Yelling at me saying they aren’t able to break it they don’t “have that kind of money” I was nice there was no reason for the attitude. I called to do a complaint and I doubt the manger would let someone out a complaint on her.

First time in a Chick-fil-a. It held up to the expectation. People I know tell us it's great. It was very good. Service was fast, very friendly and polite. Cashier was super personable and asked us how are day is and genuinely cared and not just asking because its her job. Food came to our table in less than 5 minutes. Food was fresh and hot. Person who brought us the food was also friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting.

This was my first time ever at a Chick-fil-A. I couldn't have done it without my man Phillip. He was very helpful and patient when taking my order. I hope to see more people like him when I go to another Chick-fil-A 🙏

First time there, I won a raffle for a case of beer. They didn't have a full 12 pack so I'm still waiting for them to get it in.

My late husband I would go to Ole's for karaoke on Thursday nights. He never did karaoke till he met me. He became a karaoke junkie after I introduced him to the fun of karaoke. May he rest in peace and fly high with his eagles! You will be miss by many but not forgotten!

The bartender hates the customers if they ask for anything other than rail drinks or beers. But honestly, that is part of the charm. I've been coming here for 20+ years & she's always been there. & her consistency is excellent. The drinks are reasonably priced & tasty. This is definitely a townie bar. If you like that vibe you will 100% enjoy your time here.

This has been a family go to spot for my family for many years. We know all the bartenders and the owner. Over the past couple years the service has gotten pretty bad. You order anything other than a beer and you will get eyes rolled at you. Recently I was in there enjoying my night, and a customer I've known for years (A grown man) completely degraded me in front of everyone, and the bar tender (whom I've known forever) sat there and let it happen. It really put into perspective what kind of place this is! I'm not saying I'm perfect, but no way did I deserve that! Don't get me wrong, there are a couple great bartenders left. But I will NEVER step foot in there again after 20 years. UPDATE...after 5 months I decided to give it a shot, a friend wanted to !eet up there. The owner says to me he read my google review and was rude about it. I told him I said nothing negative about him. He then tells me "as long as you feel good about yourself, thats all that matters". Then walks away. Now rather than trying to rectify the situation, or even apologize for how his staff treats people, he gets mad at the person who addressed it publicly. Well this review could have gone a completely different way, but apparently its OK to treat people like garbage! Mistake #2. Sorry, not sorry!

I wish they would put up a sign when they run out of things so that we dont end up waiting in line for so long. I once waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told they were out of eggs (????). Today they barely had any bagels- the ones they did have were the ones with seeds and such on them. Why not put out a sign saying which ones are available? So I dont waste 20 minutes waiting to order my food? Also a few weeks ago I ordered online to pickup 2 hours after placing the order, the logical thing to do is for the employees to not make the food untill 10-20 minutes BEFORE i come in to pick it up, however I immediately got the notification that it was ready. When I came in to pick the food up it was freezing and probably would havegiven me food poisoning from sitting out. When I asked for the manager to remake it, a male employee in a blue shirt, he said he was too busy to do so. I left crying and didnt get food- or a refund. This is the only time I have run into a rude worker here. I dont know why he did that. I tried getting a refund thru the app that the school has people order on but its beena month and I have not gotten a reply even tho the app claims a customer service representative will reach out within a day.

I guess everyone there is usually nice but my food is always cold. They always ask if I want it toasted and I always say yes and its like they toast it for half a second and then call it good.

i love einstein bagels especially getting block meals but the service this school year has been horrible. the new people need to step it up. they have bad attitudes and mess up many many orders especially when no experienced workers are present which is a problem to begin with

If you like bagels, Einstein’s is the place to go. I went to college near a Einstein’s and would get it almost every day, they have great options and if you get there early you get first pick of the freshly baked bagels! I’ve always dealt with friendly staff who have never had an issue of explaining the menu to me. When ever I am near a Einstein’s I’ll be sure to stop for a bagel and some coffee

Not only does Einstein Bros. Bagels have great bagels, they have the most friendly staff on campus. The manager there is always trying to learn my name and the rest of staff never seems to be in a bad mood. They also give you a lot of food at Einsteins compared to many other places on campus. I would definitely recommend to check this place out if on or near campus.

I got two plain bagels with plain cream cheese. A simple order. Yet not only did they toast both bagels when I asked for them NOT to toast them, one bagel had a big chunk missing and it had hair in it!!! I know it wasn’t mine because I have very short hair and this one was super long.

Nice selection of coffee shop drinks and bagle sandwich options. Good service, though often a line up right before and after common class times. Not open on weekends. Is a part of a university, so caters to that crowd.

Food was good, service not. Place wasn’t even busy and they were struggling to move by. Might be because this Panera didn’t open that long ago, but some of the employees act like they need another round of training… I got the Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt, with Broccoli Cheddar soup. Very tasty I do recommend that dish.

first time ordering online - created new account no text notifications when order was ready, no email for signing up an account...no way to check order in account to see if ready....no email stating ready. Waited 20 min then went through drive thru - order had been ready for awhile. NO silverware to eat salads. 2 Sandwiches the meat was all in the middle...not spread out. If I wanted bread I would have just ordered bread. salad was to have romaine lettuce......got iceberg only WET and soggy - water in containers! I am very disappointed Panara Bread...do better

I ordered a unique baguette grilled cheese sandwich/soup combo with avocado, double cheese on it and had their tomato soup. Both were warm and fresh. I will definitely stop here again while i’m here for training over the next two weeks. online ordering and in store pick up is so convenient as well!

The manager was very helpful when a discount didn’t apply. Their staff is very kind and you can tell most of them enjoy their job. Love Panera!!

We visited over the weekend and everything was great, but we were especially impressed with the manager on how he handled a situation with an elderly man who had a very old gift certificate. He handled the situation with such grace we will go back for that reason alone!

Maybe this place is still experiencing new growing pains, but it is completely unacceptable to wait 15 minutes in line for coffee when there are only two cars ahead of you. Those 2 cars were waiting for food yet no one thought they should move them ahead into the two designated areas further ahead where they could wait for their food while serving other customers. Also, if you are a sip club member, when you try to customize the free drinks you get as part of the club you can’t add basic cream or sweetener. There’s no option in the app for that. That doesn’t really have anything to do with this location, but it still is a Panera issue.

Service & food were excellent. Very clean everywhere. Food came out HOT & fresh. Staff is very friendly. Will be back

The chicken is good, potato wedges are solid. Mashed potatoes weren't great. Menu says a meal comes with 2 sides and a biscuit, I've gotten food here a half dozen times-never a buiscuit.

The chicken is great and highly recommended! Call ahead for pickup or usually have most things available. Reasonable price and the team seems to be very happy and willing to help out with our orders. Definitely stop by and give a try, better than KT chicken and more affordable!

We stumbled onto this place on our way to Eau Claire. We were not excited about chicken at a gas station! But we were pleasantly surprised ! This is our new favorite chicken joint! The guys behind counter are so nice and accommodating. They're always willing to drop fresh chicken. The chicken is AMAZING!

Great price, good food . They asked if I wanted to wait for fresh chicken. the staff was helpful and patient because I had never been there before. What a hidden little gem!

When I was walking up to the counter to order an employee was eating something in plain view, and only one of the four had a face mask on properly. The dipper bowl, while not aesthetically pleasing, is actual pretty tasty.
