Their To-Go boxes are reusable! Had a great experience at Beeps, they weren't to busy so it was nice and relaxing. They played great music and the food portions we big! And at the end they gave us reusable, microwave and dishwasher safe to-go boxes. Which was totally cool. Cant wait to go back and bring my parents here to try it out!

The food was good. But the menu was a little overwhelming. With so many options, it's great that's there's something for everyone. But it takes away from what they specialize in. I couldn't figure out if it was the food or the atmosphere that attracted people. I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked for help. The servers were great at offering suggestions. I tried their pizza fries, which I was told was a bit popular. But I wasn't impressed. While they tasted good and had a nice flavor, the sauce is soaked up by the fries, making them very soggy. I personally preferred their garlic fries instead. However, there was nothing special about those either. They tasted just like any other garlic fries. But the fried zucchini was pretty good. Overall, I didn't mind the experience. If I was around the area again, I wouldn't mind stopping by.

We came 12/30/23 for Breakfast 🥞. Hands down one of the best places I have ate . Our waiter was Michael and he was so friendly and helpful. He recommended the Shredded Pork Omelette. And the Swedish pancakes ( was complimentary and delicious 🤤) The toast bread 🍞 was so fresh and delicious ( the seeds were delicious)! We also ordered Belgium waffles 🧇 ( was good 👍🏽) The fresh orange 🍊 juice and tea 🍵 were made with love 💕 Definitely come and experience this place ! Walk , take a Uber , Taxi 🚕 but come you will thank me later ❤️ Bathrooms 🚽 were clean 🧼 and well organized.

Delicious food! The only bad thing about going here is having to pick just one thing to order! I got the strawberry pancakes with whipped cream on my first visit and they were perfectly cooked with fresh, ripe berries. The coffee was good a well. The servers were friendly and attentive, this will be my go to breakfast place any time I am in Simi.

Finally visited this place after so many years living nearby. I was seated quickly, but for some reason it took a bit of time before the waitress came over to take my order. Another minute and I was ready to walk out. However, she was super sweet and prompt from then on. The food was good, and the weekday Early Bird special was a reasonable value. Plus, it came with a complimentary dessert-y crepe-ish dish that I also liked. Would definitely go back.

Somehow we ended up with someone’s else’s left overs in our to go bag. Half eaten tomato on spinach and mushroom cheese omlette have eaten. We never ordered this. Been going to this restaurant for a very long time and this has never happened to us. When I called to report this they apologized and “giggled”. Very rude and disrespectful. I will take my daughter to the airport cage at Camarillo Airport instead.

Visited for my first time this past weekend and I can honestly say I love this place. I knew I was in for a great meal when after I sat down, and shortly after I placed my order, they brought over a free crêpe with berry jam on top. It was a great start to the meal and it’s so rare that you get anything free when dining out in LA. It’s located up in sleepy Thousand Oaks and because of that parking is much easier in this part of LA than down south. There is a large free parking lot attached so parking was really easy. Our server was also extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Inside is quite large and they have many different seating options available and can host many different size groups. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table for a 10 AM Saturday brunch. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic items so it was hard to choose what I wanted to order. As always I started with a cup of coffee and it was strong and did the job. For my meal, I chose the namesake Eggs N Things Omelette because I had heard that their omelettes were seriously tasty and can confirm that they definitely are. They are very large in portion size and I chose to add avocado to mine which I would recommend to anyone. I also got a side biscuit and can say that this is one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had in LA. I loved every bit of it and would go here again specifically for the biscuits. The pancakes were also light and fluffy and had great flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a really solid breakfast option.

Got the Rueben sandwich with steak fries, Belgian waffle with strawberries & a coffee. Yummy! Nice big portions (enough to share or just stuff yourself full). The sandwich was delicious, a nice thick chunk of meat, light-crispy bread, savory & salty sauce & flavors inside. Thick crispy steak fries. The waffle was great, a light crispy shell & soft inside with yummy whipped cream, syrup & strawberries. Also got to try a cute little Swedish pancake with a little Jam On Top which was a nice little appetizer. It's a nice place with a lot of seats inside, including counter seats, and outdoor seating in a cute patio. Staff was very nice & helpful. Prices are fair. It's kind of in the corner in a big plaza (near Ralphs) with plenty of parking.

One of the coolest details is the hand-drawn menu, which is a fun experience just to look at. There's many options to choose from burgers to sandwiches to salads. Cool place to come and visit.

The staff was super friendly from the minute we walked in. Our waitress Trinity was so knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced. There was live music playing in the bar and the decor is over the top fun. There’s something to look at in every corner. I would definitely go back to this place because the menu is huge and can’t get much better service than this restaurant.

Really enjoyed my time at Junkyard Café! The atmosphere is super creative and full of character—industrial decor with a cool, laid-back vibe. I had the fish and chips, and it was excellent—crispy, flavorful, and a solid portion size. I didn’t get a drink, but my brother ordered a huge beer that definitely made a statement. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was busy. Great spot to hang out, grab some good food, and enjoy the unique setting. I’ll be back for sure.

This is a very fun and unique place to eat. It lives up to it's name. They have so much to see that I'm going to have to go back and take another look around. The ceviche is very fish forward, with great citrus flavor that is light. The rueben has huge chunks of corned beef, making it difficult to eat, but the flavors were delicious. The highlight was the guacamole with housemade chips.

This was a cool funky place. Huge menu. Cool with food allergies and keto menu. Great food. Friendly knowledgeable server. Would come again. Oh we sat in the bar which had crazy fun decor. They also had art auctions up in addition to regular sports which was interesting.

Everything was amazing. From the greeters, waiter, food, and drinks. They have so much variety which made it difficult to decide but 10 out of 10 on what we choose. Would definitely come back and would like to try everything on their menu.

Great ambiance!! A cross between 60's hippie culture, 70's roadhouse and current political malaise. I listened to a great discussion on the current administration, a lecture on past movie culture and a debate on which motorcycle you should buy. The food was outstanding and there is huge assortment of apps, main course and desserts. The service was wonderful. Becky was incredibly attentive, had great suggestions and was on top of the drink orders. Stinky fries have now become my go to cheat food. UPDATE: still awesome. Anthony was a magnificent server. Food was wonderful.

My husband and I love the lomo saltado bowl. It’s a real treat but the first time we ordered it, it was incredible. But every time after that it was missing the cilantro and sometimes the cheese. I mentioned to the chefs and person at the counter named Abby to please tell the owners to purchase all the ingredients in this dish. I overheard the chef say we haven’t had cilantro in a while. I had to go to Vons across the street to buy cilantro myself. I have attached the photo of my own cilantro on the dish at home. In every menu online and in person it states cilantro is included in the dish. This dish is too expensive to skimp out on the ingredients. It cost me $1.50 for organic cilantro at Vons. We love this place and rave about it to our friends. We’d like to keep doing so. It’s really a great place and unfortunate if this keeps happening.

This is one of the best breakfast places in Simi. They always greet you with a smile and the service is always quick and friendly. They have a special Fly sauce that goes really well with almost everything they have on the menu, excluding the sweet stuff. I'm a huge fan of their maple reaper sandwich wich is currently not offered for their online menu since they are phasing out of the Carolina reaper cheese. They still have a limited supply in house so if you go in person and ask if they can add the reaper cheese to your order they can make it happen while supplies last. The burritos also hit the spot every time! Parking is always easy to find and free.

I use to love this place, they made really good food at an affordable price. But then they doubled the price of all their food a few years ago. Haven’t been back since. Shame, I really liked their food. Probably won’t be able to return until their food is affordable again. $15 for their most basic burrito is out of your mind. This is not a fancy place you get a booth for you and your family, it’s a tiny hole in the wall burrito shop.

Finally moved back to Cali after a few years, and drove 2 hours to meet some friends and bring them here for their first FY experience. This places quality is just as good as I remember, and I’ve never had a bad meal here! I had the Maple Fried and it was so good! They syrup they use isn’t too sweet or messy, and compliments the saltiness of the bacon very well! The tater tots are the best ever, always fresh and crispy, never oily. My friend got a steak burrito, I don’t remember which one and he said it was worth every penny and he would come back for it.

Hurts to leave this. Food is amazing. Service, not even existent. Just showed up to pick up my online order. When I arrived, they said it would be a few minutes. No worrries, I sat down at the table directly in front of the cashier. They said the same to the nex guests who entered. They called out order names as they were ready. 17 minutes later I’m still waiting. Approached the counter and asked if my order was ready yet. Which they had set aside and never called my name, despite giving my name when I first arrived and literally sat 3 feet in front of them . Never called my name, nothing. Win sorry, no acknowledgement. No bye nothing. Can’t believe I recommended this place to people. Been going since the Valencia location opened, but won’t be planning on going back.

I do not like leaving bad reviews, however, this experience was ridiculous, greasy and disgusting and hate that I spent $26 for something terrible. The hash browns were overly cooked and all my partner and I could taste is oil! The eggs had no taste and we had to ask but utensils and coffee refill. I’d never come back or recommend this place. The portions were also ridiculously small!

Hubby loves breakfast so while we were in the area, we enjoyed this cute country eatery. I loved loves loved my avocado 🥑 toast! I've never had it prepared like this ever! So deliciously amazing! 😋 If there were 10 stars, I would have given them 10! I want another one! The workers were personsonally enjoyable with connection and communication and dialogue. It made a big difference for us.

Can’t speak highly enough about this place. Dave and his staff were just phenomenal. It was my mom’s and my first time in and each person we interacted with made us (especially her) feel so welcome and like old friends. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Will happily be back regularly. It means even more because my mom has dementia and today was my birthday, and just the experience we had here made both hers and my day.

Serving breakfast and lunch... this country themed small eatery deserves your business. We were seated right away upon entering. The menu had a variety of breakfast options and some great lunch items. The coffee cake as a starter was moist and delicious. I picked the Frisco burger and it was sooo good. The potato salad was homemade and was a great side too. The only call out I have is the parking area is pretty small. I'm sure during busy weekends, the parking lot is crowded.

I love, love love this little country cafe because, in my opinion... the chef goes above and beyond to serve up the best sausage, waffles, and eggs, among other delicious eats, and the tastes is the best in all America! So, that twenty dollar bill could get you something pretty darn satisfying food for that grawling, stomach! Oh, and let's not forget the great customer service. Also, the owner, "Geri," has a legacy behind this world famous cafe where Ms. "GERI" shared with me that while teaching school for decades, she also tirelessly worked her cafe business seven days a week! Wow! Now that's dedication to her late husband's dream for the Old Susana Cafe. I highly recommend the Old Susana Cafe to everyone on the planet! And I give this place five stars!.

first time trying out this place. let me tell you, the food does taste as it looks. we ended up getting the chile reyeno omelet, the wagon wheel, n a combo plate for my son. the chile reyeno came with your choice of home style fries or hashbrowns also side of toast. the wagon wheel I got had French Toast, eggs n 2 bacon, and 2 sausages. the portions were huge. the service was excellent. I definitely recommend you live in the area or visiting simi Valley.

The food here was great. I met with some friends for brunch on the patio. My friends brought their Samoyed, so the restaurant is dog friendly, which was nice. I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict with the Country Potatoes and everything was delicious! This restaurant had great service and a nice atmosphere.

This is, by far, Simi Valley’s very best breakfast place. The food is always delicious and plentiful. The waitstaff is always so nice and super attentive! The outside patio is perfect for any sunny weekend morning! And there prices are very REASONABLE! When every other restaurant in this town is raising their their prices by more than 50%, this owner has held out and just recently had to raise her very reasonable prices by a nominal 20%. And she felt terrible about it. She still has the best price/value ratio in town, by a long-shot! Lastly, you can really tell a lot about a restaurant just based on its bathroom situation. Although this place may have a small bathroom, it is apparent that the staff and ownership keep it in a very clean and pleasant condition. When an owner maintains a clean bathroom, it is often a very good indication of their kitchen! At the risk of seeing some potential wait times, I highly recommend this wonderful place! 👍😎🍳

We love this place. Stop in and enjoy a bite to eat along with learning a little history about the area. There are pictures on the wall showing what the community looked like years ago. The service is always great and the food is reasonably priced. Breakfast is delicious and they offer a great selection of lunch and dinner options too. They even have a really nice outdoor dog friendly patio area. Locals, you gotta support this place! They deserve your business!

This was our third time dining here, and the experience was top-notch. Not too many guests at the time of our lunch. The owner and the Waiter, Tony, were friendly, fast, and quick to handle any concerns. The food was prime. No problem at all. The food arrived fresh and with full flavor. I had Vivi’s chicken sandwich. Brioche bun, grilled chicken, provolone cheese, fresh tomato, onion, lettuce, and avocado. I had the fries replaced with sweet potato fries. Tami had a teriyaki bowl, grilled chicken, brown rice, bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, pineapple, a rich, sweet teriyaki sauce, and was topped with sesame seeds. Our drinks were always refilled and Tony did a great job following up multiple times. The team works well with each other and is very attentive to the needs of the table. Would come back.

Always looking for a good breakfast or brunch spot, this place seemed to check those boxes. The first thing I noticed was the variety of the menu. There were so many things that were unique and sounded good! When I asked about the chili selection for the omelette, I was offered a couple samples which was a really nice gesture and helped me choose. I opted for the chili omelette with El Draque chili...their spiciest one offered. It's not a burn your face off spicy; it's more of a flavorful Thai Chile style spice that hits on the flavor and the heat. Service was good, but I felt it could have been a little more attentive. I never had my water glass refilled while we were there. I was able to try a bite of my wife's breakfast chili chimichanga and it was delicious. She got the mild Bartholomew's Beef chili which was really flavorful without the spice. I liked that item a lot! I'll be back to try some of the other interesting items on the menu here!

Well chilaquiles sauce were mid. They serve a plate full of chips like the chips and salsa chips dropped some salsa style in there which makes them soggy 1 egg for 20 dollars. I just wish it would taste like it looks. Miss Jinkys

Fresh food full of flavor! The staff is really great, too. I've been there several times, this is my favorite place to eat, I take all my company there, it's soo good! Vegetarians will find lots of options as well. Handicap parking is available, and I've never had any problem getting a parking spot. Go, you will love it!

Cafe Vivi has become my new go to restaurant in Thousand Oaks. Super convenient right by the Gelson’s market. I love the variety of breakfast and lunch choices. Chili was delicious and my server was top notch. Need to try a smoothie next time!

We had an amazing breakfast here this week. Ordered the Shakshuka, Eggs Benedict, and the Breakfast flatbread. Service was great and the coffee was actually really damn good for drip coffee. I asked the waiter and they use higher quality beans and give you a whole pot which was nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and want breakfast/lunch.

Just this place out wasn't great coffee was not good and the French toast was also not good the servicer made a mistake at ordering but apologized which was nice mistakes happen but food wasn't good at all. I did have the pork sausage patty which was the only thing that was good

Excellent local diner style restaurant with a solid menu. Burgers are huge and very tasty and the fries are deliciously crispy with a good pillowy interior, as all fries should be. Plus the prices are better than most restaurants you’ll find nearby. Worth a try if you’re craving a good burger!

Mariano is the best employee and always does a great job being super professional! I love this place, they make the best burgers and everyone here is always very nice and professional! They make really delicious food and something about it feels like eating burgers from when you were a kid, I will always keep coming back for more!

This is the worst salad I have ever purchased two huge pieces of tomato and cucumber lettuce and a little slice of chicken with American cheese. This was gross nasty. I paid about $15 and I would rather throw this in the trash. Will never come by and eat here again first time and last time.

Do you enjoy bland food? Then you've come to the right place! What, seasoning? Get that out of this restaurant, we like our meals boring! Seriously guys, even just some salt on the fries would be a game changer. Even the ducks at the park are ignoring them.

I just had P&L Burger. I ordered a pastrami cheeseburger and onion rings with a vanilla shake. Under $20, fresh, and really good. I highly recommend it.

Kiki and George are terrific people and caring owners. Their long time staff has been loyal and great, as well. The menu is predictable for a local diner and while some folks expect more, it meets our needs for a good and reasonably priced breakfast or lunch. We haven't ordered off of the dinner menu. I've been a customer there for 30+ years. The owners give to and care about our community. Countless first responders from all over were comped for their meals - tens if not hundreds of them during the Woolsey fire. The owners don't boast but give because they care about our community and are just good people.

It's no wonder why they have such low scores. The sandwiches with chicken or ham come in bits and pieces like the scraps leftover from slicing, yet I've never seen a slice. It's been like this for years. I have complained. They give you a coupon, but that doesn't resolve the issue. The soups look and taste like they came from a can. The salads are mediocre. If they're going to put out low quality food, they shouldn't be charging what they charge. I feel bad for the staff. They look very unhappy. I can't remember when I last saw someone there give me a smile.

I honestly hate leaving reviews like this, but this Panera Bread in the Janss Marketplace really needs some attention. I’ve been here a few times hoping things would improve, but it just keeps getting worse. First thing you notice when you walk in is how dirty everything feels. The floors had trash and food scraps all over. Tables were sticky and left uncleaned for way too long. It just makes you wonder if anyone is actually checking on the dining area. What really bothered me was all the little gnats flying around everywhere. They were by the soda machine, in the bathroom, and even hovering around the tables. It’s pretty gross to see bugs circling over pastries and cups and just floating around while you’re trying to eat. The service was so slow it felt like nobody was in any hurry to help customers. There weren’t many people in line, but it still took about 20 minutes to get my food. When it finally came out, it looked carelessly thrown together. The bathroom was honestly awful. It smelled terrible, like old sewage. There was toilet paper all over the floor and the sink area was a mess. The soap dispenser was leaking everywhere. It was the kind of bathroom you just try to get in and out of as fast as you can. It’s sad because Panera is supposed to be a comfortable place to grab lunch or coffee, but this location feels completely neglected. It almost feels disrespectful to the customers that nobody seems to care how bad it has gotten. I really hope the company steps in and does something because it shouldn’t be this hard to keep a restaurant clean and welcoming. Until then, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

We usually love Panera, but this location in Moorpark is dirty, the service is usually poor and out of the 4 times we've been here, they have been out of baguettes 3 times (??) Today... they were out of chips(???) We always discuss whether or not we should stop at this location- but the next is about an hour away....we should have waited. I asked for a mug for my hot tea and as he gave it to me he was wiping something off, but gave it to me anyway (!!!) He was already annoyed because I asked for a couple of changes to the salad I was ordering, so I took the cup with the intention of washing it with the hot water for tea. Guess what - it was lukewarm. I had to microwave my water. There were gnats flying around our food. My husband's food was good but hard to enjoy because the place is so dirty. My salad wasn't great and the baguettes tasted off.

Ordered passion fruit tea. Onion soup /French onion they bombed on that one. They t a ke the cheese and just dust/ sprinkle it on the soup. Definitely no awards here! Had them take it back & put more cheese on it.

Easy to find. Nice atmosphere. Men's restroom doesn't smell like piss like other locations. That's a plus

Simi Valley has no shortage of great Mexican restaurants, and Maria’s stands tall among the best. A true David among some well-known Goliaths. The service was impeccable during my first visit. I barely finished saying “I’d like a Pacifico” before an ice-cold one was placed in front of me. The complimentary salsa and chips were perfect—until I knocked the salsa bowl over like an amateur. No judgment, just a fresh bowl delivered with a smile. The fish tacos, rice, and beans were all spot on. I wish I could recreate that flavor at home. Honestly, the meal was so filling, I could’ve wandered the desert for 40 days without needing another bite. Moses highly recommends Maria’s.

Been living in Simi Valley since 2011 and finally someone recommended this place to us. And I’m glad they did. I don’t know when they actually opened, but I’m sure we were missing out for a little while. Food was great, and the restaurant is a good size and simple. Don’t be late to this one like we were.

Maria's is a solid little local Mexican cafe. It's cozy and inviting and hearty enough. In an unassuming little storefront in a plaza off Sycamore, it doesn't look like much - but the interior is actually pretty roomy, decorated with tile and papel picado. The service is fine, and it's the kind of place you can get in and get out or have a long, relaxed meal with a group. The food itself is probably the weakest point. The seasoning is a bit off across the board, the eggs are tough, the tortillas are a bit stale, the ingredient prep is a little sloppy - but it's all serviceable. It's not bad and it's clearly made from scratch, and sometimes that's all it needs to be.

Been going here for 9 years or so. Nice festive atomsphere. Everybody is so nice and helpful.....Lets talk breakfast. One of the best in town. Can you say chilaquiles !! Lunch and dinner is amazing. Food is so fresh and delicious. It isn't frozen and reheated. Everything is made from scratch ...You can't go wrong. Bring a date, or just chill with the wife or friends. Try the tropical margarita. I love them.

This place is like eating in the heart of Mexico (Guanajuato) Maria is super nice and care so much about all her customers, she love her community people.

An absolutely wonderful restaurant! I highly recommend Maria’s. Anybody who has looked at my reviews knows I absolutely love Mexican food. By now, you know my favorites, but Maria’s belongs on that list. But that’s not all they are great at. They do fantastic breakfasts, lunch, all kinds of different foods not just Mexican. You must come here. You must try it at least once for breakfast!

The food is absolutely amazing! My large family of 15 went. Every single person enjoyed their meal and thought it was so delicious! Even the drinks are amazing. I’ve been searching for the best Mexican restaurant in the Valley for 3 years, and I finally found it! Will be coming back for sure! Such a hidden gem.

The food is good people are nice. The reason I have 3 star was because I paid for 2 bowls of soup (not cup size) and they only filled them half way when they are supposed to be fuller. Double check your orders before you leave.

Terrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It’s always dirty here, there’s no hot coffee available most of the time, and today there wasn’t even hot water. I waited 20 minutes for my online order, and only after I asked where it was did they tell me they were out of berries. They canceled my breakfast without notifying me, and instead of the $6 parfait I paid for, they offered me a $2 pastry — which the app always offers as a cheap add-on anyway. No apology, no compensation, no customer service. I was also given a cup of hot water in an open coffee cup instead of a sealed hot spot or proper tea option. Completely unacceptable. No breakfast, no hot tea — just 20 minutes of waiting and frustration. This is not the first bad experience here, but it will definitely be my last. Avoid this location.

The food is good and I regularly eat at Panarea bread. But this has to be the worst Panera location I’ve ever been to. Every other time I visit they’re out of fundamental things that they should not be running out of. Stuff like bread, turkey, soup. I’ve been ordering from this location for over a year and it seems management doesn’t do anything to correct this issue even though they are aware. The correction would simply be order more of what they run out of so it doesn’t keep happening. I’d like to see them correct this or I don’t think I’ll continue dining there.

My wife and I met up here yesterday because we were next door at the Tmobile store. She wanted soup since it was cold, so I suggested that we can go next door to see what Panera Beard has to offer. This store is in a plaza with a lot of parking spots since there are other stores here as well. When we walked in, they had just about 3 other guest inside and my wife looked at their menu. She decided to get their chicken noodle soup to go. The soup itself was pretty pricey so she was hoping it would be decent. She was highly disappointed when she got home because they didn't fill up the soup to the top of the cup along with not getting a lot of noodles and you pay a high price for such so little food. She was not happy to the point that I think this is the last time she would ever want to try another Panera Beard store again. Inside of the place is okay, it's organized and cleaned but I just think it's outdated. Service: 5 star, no issues with the workers because they are nice. Atmosphere: 3.5 star, the place is okay buy just seem very outdated to me Food: 2 star, the value of the food and the price for it was just not worth it based on our experience. Parking: 5 star, you won't have any issues finding parking here.

Walked in and stood at the counter not realizing it was self service on the ordering. 3 employees were behind the counter and nobody greeted us or even instructed us to use the touch screen which i realized after a minute if awkwardly standing and not being welcomed. Then it told me to put the number of my buzzer and none of them on the counter were on. Terrible. The food was good so good on the cook but everyone else was no good

It's always clean staff is always friendly. Peaceful atmosphere. Good broccoli cheddar soup, good bagels, good bakery treats. Lots of drink options. Just stay away from the flatbread pizzas because to my daughter and I the sauce tastes weird and a bit spicy and the pepperoni has a kick and weird flavor too. Hard to mess up pizza but they do, we tossed it.

My fave location to be productive on my laptop, the manager lady was so kind an offered me a free scone when I was just chilling there for hours. I love the sip club member thing cause I now go here more. Often as a superior place to study over any other café.

The gold standard of diners. You can’t force the organic greatness of a place this good. It just *is*. Places like Jerry’s are restaurants after my own heart. The simple breakfast—eggs, bacon, toast—hits better than Little Jerry at a cockfight. (Seinfeld fans, you know.) If the food in Egypt had been this good, Moses might’ve reconsidered the whole Exodus thing.

CASH ONLY. I love this little Mexican diner. Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and drove up from West LA specifically for this little coffee shop. I am working my way through a list of all coffee shops and diners in LA County so next up on my list are the handful that are in Simi Valley. Jerry’s definitely caters to the Hispanic community, which being from San Diego myself this is something that I also enjoy. I am not Hispanic myself, but the staff made me feel very welcome so don’t think that it’s not for everybody type of place. It’s in a really sleepy part of Simi Valley tucked at the bottom of a group of hills which makes for a great backdrop. There is a small parking lot attached so parking is really easy to find. It’s important to know that it is cash only but the prices are extremely low because of that and they do have an ATM on site. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Inside is quite small, but they do have a lot of traditional seating options such as counter, booths, and tables. I love how the whole restaurant is built around the kitchen, so you can see, hear, and smell all the food being prepared. I would say that this is one of the best Chicken Fried Steaks that I’ve had in a long time. I wanted to order a diner classic so I chose that and was very impressed with the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the meat was not overcooked, and overall it just had some great flavors. There were a lot of other options on the menu that I wanted to order so I plan to be back in the near future to try more. The staff was also extremely polite and insisted that I take a coffee to go which I happily accepted and it really hit the spot on the long drive home. This is honestly a great local diner, but I would honestly recommend to anyone in LA and feel that it was worth the 30+ minute drive to get there.

This is a really nice, peaceful, laid back diner, with pretty views, and friendly service. They are doing takeout and dine in is outside right now. The coffee was fresh, and so was all of the food. Everything is really reasonably priced, but it is cash only, so make sure you are prepared for that. We had eggs over easy, and they were prepared perfect. The hashbrowns and home fries were yummy, and so was the toast and English muffins. The tuna sandwhich was tasty and it had fresh, crisp veggies on it, but it is a very very small sandwhich, with a small amount of tuna, so I probably wouldn't get it again. I would definitely come back for breakfast:)

Tip well and go back often, and you will have a different experience. Jerry's was once a good place for small plate breakfast, donuts and coffee. I am dumbfounded at the amount of the "new locals" that call this place home, and rave about the chili. It is loud, short order and if told you have to wait to be seated, well, welcome to Simi Valley.

love a place that has menus were over 90% of the items are under 10 bucks you can’t find many places like this anymore. All four of us ordered the chili cheese omelette for obvious reasons it’s one of the best cheap eats I’ve ever had the Chili’s actually made in house if you’re a meat lover… This is your chili I loved our server she was straight up honest and she kept the coffee cups flowing so we didn’t have to ask for anything the toast was awesome and instead of hashbrowns I got the side of fruit which was freshly chopped bananas and watermelon which I needed. It’s worth the drive you can see the classic setting so that means this place is been there for a while but for good old fashion friendly service the owners and the staff make this place a wonderful stop for any morning I’m coming back!

Under new owners from what I understand. Biscuits and gravy- Biscuits were more cornbread like, and gravy was runny and tasted more of clam chowder then gravy. Eggs Bennidict- eggs under poached and whites were still runny, hollandaise sauce was runny and tasted like the gravy did. The Canadian bacon and English muffin were cooked properly. The 2 eggs 2 bacon hashbrowns and toast that my husband were cooked to over easy and just right, not to crispy on the bacon, LARGE white toast, hashbrowns were lightly browned. Coffee was good, service was very sweet, cook was helpful and guests were nice too.

I have to love the interior of this place. It is so classy and they have a lot of great drinks and my favorite favorite favorite part is that they have absolutely beautiful dessert drinks, mango, strawberry, pure cookies, and cream, it is so nice to see that makes blending with coffee but what really did it for me was I had to have the jalapeño and cheese bagel heated up and a Doppio with with whipped cream, a.k.a. the dope O’Cain it was really comfortable to sit in. Everybody was totally cool. I have to admit I will be coming back here to chill out on my break. They have outdoor seating in the very friendly and the bathrooms are super clean and do not require security lol this is a totally perfect place to chill and enjoy delicious pastries as well as some of the best dessert drinks I’ve had.

My entire workplace orders coffee bean almost every morning, and it always gets us through the day. I was fortunate enough to meet an incredibly sweet barista named Eden and another barista who was just as sweet. The next time my workplace door dashed something we had cats and dogs drawn on our bags with my name. It was such a a thoughtful gesture, and we loved it! Thank you Coffee bean staff we appreciate you so much!! Also we have never received a wrong order, or anything missing/wrong. Every drink we have ordered has been consistent, and theyve never missed a food item. Overall 100/10 🩵

Yuck! I'm no spring chicken but this was absolutely the worst chai tea latte I've ever recieved...I hate when the product ends up 'grose' but you still tipped to 'pay it forward'... I'd rename this one 'Cinnamon-flavored WATER' You win some..you lose some..but hopefully the next barista will add a little more love when they make this 'usually delightful' drink.

Tried this place for the first time, worst "frappe" I've ever had and this was the second "frappe" they had to make because the first has so much ice in it, you couldn't use the straw. They were both just straight garbage. When I told them the first drink was inedible I had to insist they remake it, got a rude attitude. They took 10 minutes to remake it, during that time they made 1 more drink and sold a bag of coffee, so slow!!! Jeez, worst experience I've ever had, worst "frappe" I've ever had.

I ordered from this McDonald’s and they completely got my order wrong. I ordered two apple pies and they gave me five cookies instead and they didn’t give me a bun on my chicken sandwich to top it all off. They gave me two M&M McFlurry instead of Oreo, McFlurry, I don’t know what’s wrong with them, but they need to get their act together and start getting my order right or else I will not be purchasing from here again

Despite the fact that there were only a handful of customers, we still had to wait over 15 minutes to get our food. The staff appeared to be working hard, but not much was getting done. One angry customer respectfully asked to speak to the manager, only to be informed that they had left. Also, the interior of the restaurant was hot and humid, making our wait seem even longer. The food was the usual McDonald's fare.

Really need to update the menu. Serving the same stuff for years. Need to do better with the fries. Used to have the best French fries. Now they are soggy and taste like salty paper. Do better McDonalds.

I ordered only an iced latte and the screen I ordered from told me to take a table tent, input the number and grab a seat your drink is on the way! I did as instructed but waited and waited until it came about 11 minutes later. The young lady delivering it to me at my table was very apologetic and even made a new one for me since mine was sitting at the counter I guess? I give this McDonald's 4 stars. Service was late but she was so nice and apologized plus she made my drink again so it was fresh! Now that is what I call great customer service!

It is locally owned and it needs a lot of attention! It is very frustrating to stop by after work to grab food for my kids. And just rest . Get home and be missing items or even wrong order given. This has not happened Once or twice it’s constantly! When I went back to request the missing items I was literally accused of lying! I’m sure it was a manager the lady who said “ it was there I know it was. I packed it myself “ why would I drive back ? We don’t spend $10 or $30 per visit. It’s a big spending we are doing each visit for me to be treated as a Lyer! I like to support locally and this is why I continue going in hopes of them getting better . But it has not . It saddens having to go elsewhere but it will happen soon if this continues.

Update 2: This McDonalds used to be one of the best. It is a mile from my home and I've been here thousands of times since they opened 30 years ago. The food is okay and the restaurant still looks clean and is in good condition, but the customer service is TOTAL GARBAGE. The staff is short with customers, rude and they flat out refuse to help their customers order without the Kiosk. I sat for 45 minutes and watched at least 9 different customers come up to their register-blocking sign: asking to place order with a person. Staff told all of them they are not allowed to take orders anymore, just kiosk and phone orders. All 9 looked disappointed with staff's remarks, 5 reluctantly went to order from Kiosk, two forced the staff to reluctantly take their order, and two just left. This policy, from what I saw, is very tough on the elderly and foreign speaking customers. The McDonald's management and staff can apparently care less! Apparently the family that owns this restaurant owns a couple more in the area that has the same policy and same poor ratings!!! What a mess!!! — Update: I actually love McDonald's. I go and have been going frequently for decades. You can tell a lot about a location just on how the Big Mac is served up. Either it's thrown together like a sloppy mess, or, it's treated with care and presented to you perfectly; just like the McDonald's graphics. You can also tell lot by the restaurants level of cleanliness. But really the most telling indicator of a good McDonald's is the front staff, who takes your order and delivers your food. In this location's case, it is very hot and cold. You can go at times and have decent service and efficiency. Go back a week later and you can get the worst service, with a staff that looks like they'd rather be anywhere else in the world than being at work. The last time we visited this location there were at least 15 people working, but maybe two or three people looked like they were actually doing all the work. The rest of the staff was goofing around and blaming everyone else for a litany of customers coming back, complaining about their food or the long wait. In our case we had to wait over 20 minutes for two big Macs, and one order of fries and two cokes. When we ordered, there was nobody else in line in front of us, but we did notice a handful of Uber eats guys coming into pick up bags Before ours were completed. Additionally, the floors were dirty, tables dirty, and the men's bathroom reeked like someone urinated over the entire room - days ago. I believe a much better run McDonald's is the one over by the target store on Cochran and Galena. This store is definitely lacking good consistent management. — McDonald’s raised all their drinks from $1 to $2. Totally unnecessary move! This used to be a big reason to forego the competition!!

First time customer. I asked about the bread and they seemed more interested in talking to friends plus they said all bread (the sourdough) is dark because that's how it came from the oven. Horrible, can't make certain sandwiches or even buttered toast as it would fall through hole. Tough, dry, and chewy. The birds liked it though.

I've enjoyed visiting The Baker's Daughter since they opened, but unfortunately, I've noticed a drop in quality over the past six months. I usually order the avocado tartine, and while their sourdough is typically excellent, theres something inconsistent about their other dishes. Especially the Avocado Tartine. In the past, it used to be bright green, and the flavors were all very apparent. Now it tastes old like avocado that's been sitting out for too long that appears browned, or the toppings like pumpkin seeds, onion, and radish are sparse. The bread thickness also varies--thin one day, quite thick the next. Today's experience was also less welcoming than usual. The cashiers used to be very friendly, but now they seem a bit overwhelmed. The cashier helping me didn't offer a greeting or thank you, which felt uncharacteristic of the place. I had hoped to order lunch, but since I arrived at 10:45 a.m., I was told I couldn't place a lunch order until 11. So, I defaulted to my usual breakfast order and quickly left to get coffee elsewhere, as I've stopped ordering coffee here due to frequent unavailability of the Vietnamese coffee ingredients. When I returned to pick up my order, the same cashier handed it over without any pleasantries. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found the toast was charred, which I found pretty unreasonable, especially for a $15 item. We all work hard for our money, and while I know they're an artisanal business, putting out less-than-top-quality food at this price point is disappointing. I wish I'd checked before leaving, but being in a rush, I didn't realize until I got home, where the burnt taste was all too apparent. If you're ordering to go, I'd recommend double-checking your order to ensure it meets the quality standard you expect.

So many things I want to try out at this place. First of all the customer service and the experience was great and the place was packed with lots of people enjoying their food. I love to see all of the sourdough loves just sitting on the racks ready to get purchased. I also asked how long they have had their starter and they said they have brought in from Europe and it is over 150 years old. That is impressive because not everyone can keep a starter alive and you can taste the quality of the starter in their foods. We ended up getting some chocolate chip cookies and banana bread and an espresso. Next time I'm definitely getting a sandwich.

I did not eat here due to the fact that they cannot tend to customers' needs for a different bread choice for their sandwich on the menu. If you want to keep up revenue and get customers to return or even try your place, you should accommodate changing a certain bread for the sandwich you want to order. My wife and I stopped by here a couple of days ago to order lunch. The worker at the front was being rude and inconsiderate and would not let me change the bread for a sandwich. Most sandwiches here have bread that I do not enjoy. I would not go to this place to support them because they cannot accommodate any request to alter or change the menu. Just a brioche bread instead of sourdough. It is that simple to keep customers happy. She did not. Do not eat here.

I don't give 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Full Stars very often, but this place genuinely deserves it. Delicious mushroom omelette with a small side salad, and a piece of their amazing sourdough bread. Followed by a piece of chocolate croissant bread, and Brazilian coffee. Thank you! What an experience 😊👍🏻

The Baker's Daughters is a new establishment that just opened up recently. I believe a Chinese restaurant was what once occupied the space before, but now it has completely transformed to something quite extraordinary. It's a bakery. It's a coffee shop. It's a tea house. It's a sandwich shop. It's a gathering place. One thing is for sure, the food and drinks are exemplary. The lavender latte is a cut above the normal fare. The olive oil latte is an odd combination but amazingly satisfying. The Brazilian matte is great for hot days with its sweet zing of refreshing crisp flavor. The secret egg sandwich was to die for. The croque monsieur or madame if you prefer an egg on top is a revelation to eat and behold. The space is nice, open, and inviting. You have a clear view of everything that transpires before your very eyes. They change the pastries daily, so it's worth stopping in on more than one day. You won't regret trying it out. These Daughters are top-notch, and they are off to a great start.

Very friendly staff and the inside is a clean aesthetic. The secret egg sandwich was so flavorful. I got the Croque madame which tasted great but I wasn’t a fan of the texture of the ham. It was diced very small which gave it too soft of a texture for me. Their matcha latte with lavender syrup was pretty good, and next time I want to try it with the rose syrup. Overall a great spot, but a little pricey. Was $43 for two people. I’d come here again and definitely want to try the tartine, it looked incredible

I stopped by this Starbucks today to get my wife her iced chai latte and my sister her iced caramel macchiato. I found parking easily here and this location has a drive thru. The lady who took my order was very nice and also the barista made the drink quick. She also put light ice like I asked. They have outdoor and indoor seating at this location.

I had such a lovely experience at Starbucks today! The staff were so friendly and welcoming they smiled at me as soon as I placed my order. I usually don’t grab coffee while shopping because I never have time to actually enjoy it, but today I decided to try and I’m so glad I did! Carla who made my coffee was absolutely wonderful kind, polite, and had the sweetest, most genuine smile. Please hire more people like her; the place really needs this kind of positive energy. And the coffee itself? A masterpiece! I’ll definitely be coming back again. ☕💫

I asked for them to remake my frap because I asked for easy ice and it was still super thick. I got to work, had my drink and then found this at the bottom of the cup. After rinsing off this disgusting black thing, it seemed to be a napkin that they used to wipe old mold off of something. This is disgusting and I would never come back to this location. 0 stars if I could….

Great staff – very friendly and always welcoming! The store is spotless and well-organized, and the drive-thru is a huge help when you have little ones in the car. My order is always spot-on, and the service is quick. Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks locations!

This is hands down the best Starbucks! I’ve been coming here for nearly six years, and the experience is always top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and consistently goes above and beyond. Special shoutout to Isla. She truly takes the time to get to know you and always remembers my (very complicated) drink order perfectly. She is the best!

I am so glad this place exists! I don’t know what I expected, but it exceeded my expectations on all fronts! Upon entering, the baristas offered us pup cups for our pets. Everyone was friendly, the drink variety was pretty vast for a small shop, they came out quickly, and were delicious. We got a breakfast burrito that was good too, if a bit expensive for the size. We will absolutely return.

Walked in and was not greeted. Two employees walked by or around as they attended other customers or as they prepared their order. Was still not greeted or acknowledged. Once attended, the order was out in a timely manner. We just didn’t feel welcomed at all and this was our first time here. There was a lot of children sitting at the tables with their moms. It did seem odd for a coffee shop . Bathroom was clean. Drink was very strong. Ordered a mocha with a non dairy milk. It was very strong and not well balanced. May try a latte in the future but not eager to return due to service.

this place probably has the best and funnest drinks ive ever seen. i get the strawberry acai refresher, and today i got the protein acai bowl, and it is the best acai bowl ive ever had. they have so many different drinks, its such a fun place; the people who work there are so sweet, i feel like everytime i go i get compliments from the workers.

The place is charming and I love their breakfast burritos and coffee. But for the second time in a row now when I ordered takeout for the burrito they forgot to put the turkey sausage in the burrito. The lean option is an extra dollar for turkey sausage and egg whites so it’s extra bit disappointing to be shortchanged like this. But if you do get everything you actually paid for here then it’s a great place, so I recommend dining in so such issues can be dealt with then and there.

Another surprisingly good find for a coffee/ breakfast place in Simi. Everyone was so sweet and friendly, and more than happy to help you figure out what to order if you’re unsure. I got their breakfast sandwich and watermelon mint refresher (sub green tea for water) and everything was so good. I actually wish I’d gotten a bigger size drink because it was that delicious. It also seems like a cafe you could do some work at. I love supporting local places so if you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try.

I love Lucky Dog Coffee! Great service & friendly owners & staff. My faves are the Chagaccino (coffee with mushrooms & cacao) hot or iced and the açaí bowls! The lattes and brewed coffee, avocado toast, cinnamon roll muffin, other muffins are also excellent. I haven’t tried too many food items yet — stuck on the protein açaí bowl. They also have a vast menu of flavored drinks to try (made with coffee, tea or not) and wine. Sweet homey atmosphere featuring dogs & pets and some tables outside too. I brought my dog once & they gave her a pup cup.

I love the tiny tacos! Haha so cute! We also ordered the boneless on the app and we got free food for our points 😍😝

Unfortunately their register at drive through was giving the young lady problems, had to wait while my shake was just sitting on the counter. Not her fault… maybe they need to reboot as the screen wouldn’t clear past orders. Poor gal.

Normally have a good experience here but tonight was different and dissapointing to say the least. They were out of the potato wedges so i requested to sub curly fries but the manager refused my request and told me they were out and if i wanted to do that it would be $1.50 more than the wedges cost for adding cheese to the fries. I ordered the Vanilla Creamacinno shake and it was watery and gross, i will not be ordering this ever again.

I stopped by this Burger King today to use my T-Mobile Tuesday deal on their whopper. I came to this Burger King location because it's near my work office. I put in the order through the Burger King mobile app and also got a medium size French fries with my order. I put the pickup time as now and left to go to the place. I found parking easily since they weren't busy. When I walked inside, the lady working the cashier was helping some old people so I had to wait a little. Once she was done and I told her my name, she give me my order. When I got back to the office, I started eating the fries first. I was surprised that I paid that much for so little fries which wasn't the best. You're better off at another places for more fries and less the price. The whopper burger is okay, it just reminds me of the burger from my High School which is why I don't come to Burger King that much.

I am counting down the minutes until this particular Burger King closes its doors forever. The food is constantly cold. The orders are consistently wrong. But don’t just take my opinion, as you can see by their low star rating and by reading some of the other reviews here, this place is no bonanza. I stood there and watched them re-fry onion rings that had been sitting out the entire time I was there. Disgusting. The shakes are runny, too. I hate to make this review so short, but there just isn’t anything nice to say about this particular Burger King.

Burger King is a long-standing fast food chain that primarily focuses on burgers. Mainly, their claim to fame is the Whopper. This Burger King is right off of Los Angeles Ave, next to the car wash, so it's rather easy to get to if you have your bearings in order. I mainly came in this time to try the newly advertised Spider-verse Whopper, which they informed me was sold out for the foreseeable future. That alone brought disappointment upon my troubled brow, and I had to settle for the Texas double Whopper. It was sufficient, but as you know, anytime you try to come for something you've seen and end up not getting it, you become crestfallen. No matter the outcome. Ah, so is life.

The drive-thru is slow, but that's probably because they're making your food fresh. This location is challenging to get to, you can only reach it if you're going eastbound on LA Ave, and you can only depart eastbound to LA Ave, and no u-turns allowed at the nearest intersection, so unless all the planets align, it's tough to get here, you just can't pull in on a whim.

I love burgers king and tried alot of places. This place in particular the food taste horrible. Taste like it's been frozen for months. No flavor. Just blank. Hopefully they can make it fresher or whatever but the food was not great what so ever.

Michelle at the drive thru is an absolute earth angel. She is the sweetest young woman. you can just tell. She made my daughter so happy by giving her the Burger King crown. I hadn't been to Burger King in years because my previous experience was the same as today's disgustingness!!! I only came here because my coworker wanted to eat here so I joined him. My stomach hurts I hope I don't have to go to the emergency room. And to top it off no air conditioning.

We stopped by this place recently — I ordered the Irish coffee and my husband had a cocktail along with breakfast. The drinks were definitely the highlight — the Irish coffee was smooth and well-balanced, and my husband really enjoyed his cocktail: Aqua Fresca. The food, however, was just okay. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. It did the job, but we were expecting a bit more in terms of flavor. Still, the overall vibe was nice, and the staff was friendly. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for good drinks and a chill atmosphere!

My wife and I came here to grab lunch on our way back from Malibu. We found parking just fine and arrived when they weren't that busy. I got the club sandwich with fruits and my wife for the shrimp linguine. She loved her shrimp linguine and I thought the club sandwich was okay. It took our food some time to come out and they also charge an extra fee if you pay if a credit card.

Needed a breakfast fix and found Marmalade Cafe. I ordered the Chorizo Benedict and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It’s a nice touch that they give you three poached eggs, most places only give two. If you sit outside on a nice day, it has a great vibe with a small water stream running alongside the seating area. Service was good, and there’s plenty of parking. It does get busy quickly, so I recommend coming early.

Yummy brunch at the Marmalade Cafe in Thousand Oaks! We enjoyed the peach and blood orange mimosas. The food was great, we had the lobster Benedict, crispy short rib hash, and buttermilk pancake with bacon. Friendly and accommodating service. Recommend!

Good food but insanely slow!! If you’re in a hurry of any kind go elsewhere. Our waitress was absent for most of the time and said take your time no rush when we got check after having to ask for it!! Should name this place “No Rush”

No service let alone bad service. I dont care how busy a restaurant is, there is no excuse for arrogance and bad attitude. Ive owned a restaurant and when one is busy is when you NEED to be extra attentive. My husband literally walked out and straight into Farfalle Italian restaurant. We waited 20 minutes at our table for a server to take our order. The blonde young lady who sat us couldn't have been bothered to get a server to us. 3 other tables got seated AFTER my husband and I are their orders got taken, in fact one of their orders hor to their table as we got up to leave. I pointed our issue out to the blond lady (seating hostess) who said "oh well we can send someone now". When I said we were leaving because staff passed us by and that she had not alerted any of them to take our order, so therefore we were leaving, she replied "ok suit your self". I had my father's 90 birthday there 2 years ago. Now I discourage everyone to not bother ordering a glass of water let alone sit down. As I am typing this review on my phone, Farfalle which is busy, have brought our drinks and taken our food order. A couple across from us at Marmalade's outdoor patio just complained about their food. Im glad it wasn't just us although sorry for the couple who waited so long for their food only to get below par quality. Respectfully Marmalade owners, get staff and hostesses at the level of the echelon one would expect from your establishment.

We had a group of 8, and sat on the big round table on the patio. I ordered the Cajun chicken pesto pasta and it was really delicious. Absolutely would order it again. One of our party is vegetarian and enjoyed his meal. A few of the people in our group had special requests and they were able to accommodate nicely with no misses. Most importantly, our server(Daisy) was on top of everything and didn’t miss a thing. We haven’t been to Marmalade in quite a while and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of the food and with the service. Also, the patio has been upgraded with some very pleasant lighting which made the ambiance very nice.

The biscuits were so good! We ate lunch here and it was yummy! It’s very filling too. You self order and they bring it to your table or you can take it to go. I had the Egg, cheese and bacon sandwich and I really liked it. My husband ordered the Chicken sandwich on the Brioche bun and he enjoyed that too. It’s all tasty, but it is pretty filling. The restaurant is clean and there’s outside seating.

The sandwiches are somewhat underwhelming. Everything was okay, at least good enough to warrant me trying it a second time. The sandwiches seemed better than a Chick-fil-A, but not by much. The southern chicken sandwich with pimento cheese actually had a reasonable amount of cheese spread on it, when I got a similar sandwich from Chick-fil-A, it had a teaspoon of the cheese on it (not exaggerating, you can see my review of Chick-fil-A with an image of the sandwich as sold to me versus what they advertise…it was embarrassing that they could let a sandwich out the door that was that pathetic). I also got the Rise Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it was alright. The spices were not noteworthy, but I enjoyed eating it. Overall, there was nothing amazing about the place, if you want a great chicken sandwich you need to go somewhere like Dave’s Hot Chicken or Main Chick Hot Chicken, etc. If you want something better than the Carls Jrs and Chick-fil-As of the world, you can come here.

Legit solid chicken sandwich (add a runny egg) decent options to add to it. Great tots. Definitely worth a try if it’s a treat yourself kind of day. I’d come here as a chickfila replacement too. Atmosphere is nil, everyone else is picking up to go. Self service counter. Really friendly helpful service in the kitchen - to give it enough of a vibe. Food tastes better than presentation.

Literally 3 times in a row I've ordered pick up for my family and there are items missing. Not little things but whole meals. 3 times in a row now!! Where is your quality control in checking what's actually in the bags before double knotting them so its hard for the customer to open and check? You guys weren't busy and had 2 employees just standing there doing nothing. Have 1 of them check the bag when the customer picks up like other establishments do.

This is a busy location with very limited indoor seating due to COVID. The food was good, but not breathtaking like some of the other Corner Bakery locations. Service was quick, but I find toile having to hold a pager. Pancakes were great but the butter was a little stale.

The food comes out in a timely fashion and is pretty good. The staff is fast moving. It’s a nice little café when I’m in a rush and need a quick bite to eat.

Food was fine, coffee was warm but not hot. The dishes are ok but nothing spectacular, I ordered the breakfast burrito and while it was big it tasted mostly of potato. The dining area was very clean and staff were polite and helpful. I’ll likely come back to try more dishes but in today’s economy this diner was about what you’d expect.

I never liked or cared for breakfast until having the mixed 3 meat breakfast burrito for lunch a friend brought me. Since then I started getting one every morning with their unique mild salsa on the side. 100% recommend!

My wife and I love this place! We take our little one there at least once a week or catch ourselves picking food up for on the go. The breakfast burritos are one of my favorite things to get there. You can also get a lot of different veggies in it like spinach, mushrooms, lettuce or tomatoes which my wife loves. Service is absolutely amazing and the staff there is always so nice and caring to make sure you get everything that you need. I would highly recommend this spot to any family and they also have a lot of seating and can accommodate a big group of people.

Delis! Went for breakfast. My husband loves split pea soup. It was on the menu. A must taste. Went for the bowl and split the eggs Benedict. Both were good. But the split pea was amazing. I need the recipe.

First time here and ordered the breakfast burrito. Staff and service were polite and humble offering breakfast suggestions and options. Atmosphere was fantastic and comfortable, they also have water bowls for your furry friends as needed, we sat outside in the patio. The burrito tasted great and was a good size and they have homemade salsa that was a wonderful compliment as well. Multiple coffee options were present, I had French Vanilla and Columbian - both were great. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Ugh!! So Simi Valley has disappointed me from the hotels to now Dennys. I had a simple order to be delivered to my hotel, in town from San Diego. Our food was literally down the street. The order was thrown in the bag and boxes. 1 Grand Slam looked like a kids plate. I did not receive my fruit, nor my orange juice or bottled water. The cinnamon pancake puppies where just puppies. 5 of them. We recieved 2 sryups, for the pancakes. I asked for 4. I was so disappointed. I called and the young lady was nice offering her apologies for the mistakes and to refund me for the water and juice. The food was not even warm, and the restaurant is down the street.

It’s such a nice thing to have Denny’s back in Simi Valley again. And they really did a good job with this one. It looks so small on the outside, but it’s really big on the inside bigger than any previous ones! I love the Simi Valley murals on the left side of the interior of the back room, and I love the beautiful view of the hillside so very close outside of the south window. More importantly, the food is just fantastic, low priced, and it would appear that they finally fixed their weird tasting burger and it’s really a good tasting burger now! I recommend the Simi Valley Denny’s.

Denny's is such a great place for good affordable dining. They offer a kids eat free option which is great for families. This location is brand new and the interior is stunning. The light up Simi Valley sign is a nice touch along with pictures of different classic locations in the area. Things I liked..... Plenty of parking We were seated immediately Our waitress was friendly Things I did not like..... The restaurant had a strange displeasent smell. This place is always fast and pleasant to eat at. The service is always very courteous and always smiling. I come here with my son and I always enjoy coming here. It’s so different than the one in Simi Valley, it is much quieter and your food wait time is minimal. The waitress/waiters are very kind and always checking on you. When I order for pick up, it’s always ready quick with a smile. I totally recommend this place than the one in Simi Valley.

We always hear how great Denny’s is in America (being from out of the country) and boy! It did not disappoint! From the atmosphere, to the decor, and service was definitely 10/10 experience The food was piping hot, and portion sizes are HUGE for the price, we loved that the waiter was super helpful and patient with us when we order, we had loads of questions. Would definitely recommend this location, not just for the food but for the vibes as well !

We had a great Sunday morning at IHOP Simi Valley! Diana took our order and she was super fast, friendly, and efficient — didn’t waste any time. Everything came out fresh and consistent, just as we expect from IHOP. Best part, even on a busy Sunday, we were seated right away with no wait. Excellent service and a smooth experience all around!

Took my daughter out for lunch today and I was kind of expecting not so great service based on the reviews I read in the past, but I'm so glad we went. Jerry was our server and he was great! He took our drink and food order at the same time and made sure everything came out perfect and was very attentive making sure refills and condiments were readily available. The food was great as well. I only go to Ihop because since I was a kid, I love the strawberry syrup. This trip made me realize that the food is very good as well. Everything was cooked perfect and even my daughter asked if we could come back over the weekend for breakfast. I don't leave reviews often, but I felt the need to leave one for this place to make sure the good experiences are shared as well. We will definitely be back!

I went in with my daughter today. Our host was Jerry, he was possibly the best server I’ve encountered- like ever. His vibe was upbeat, he went above and beyond and was super friendly. I wish I had extra cash to tip him bigger, so I’ll definitely be going next time. My daughter and went in on June 20 at around 1pm if yall want superior service! Forgot to mention, the food was as BOMB as the service 😅

Its IHOP. You either love it or you dont. I've been going to IHOP since I was a kid, so I like it. I'm also a big fan of the coffee pot at the table. Big place and any previous issues with service levels seem to be resolved. I've been several times and it's been consistently smooth.

It’s IHOP—so the coffee is just okay and the atmosphere is classic diner style. The server was friendly, and the food was exactly what you’d expect. But sometimes you just need a stack of pancakes, and IHOP never lets you down on that front.

Delicious food. Quality ingredients, service was great. Plenty of table touching. Not an easy place to find. It is tucked away in a shopping center. Place was packed on a Saturday morning. It is a large restaurant so sitting you down would probably happen quickly as it did for us.

What an excellent breakfast and lunch gem in Thousand Oaks. Walked by while dropping off my car and popped in for some breakfast. Thought I knew what I wanted but their chilaquiles were so highly recommended that I decided on that. It was outstanding! I was practically licking the plate. I don’t live very close but told my wife we had to go back out there just for the meal. Do yourself a favor and come eat here!

Yes! 5 stars all the way. Much better food quality than other chain places in a 20 mile radius. I will definitely be back here. This place is truly a Hidden Gem within the Conejo Valley community. I feel like their prices are fair, and you do get your money's worth. The service was great! Came in here on a weekday just before noon, and had a wonderful brunch breakfast with eggs benedict, pancakes and a sandwich with a couple friends. Eggs Benedict were perfectly poached. The English muffin was crispy, and the sauce was tangy, creamy and buttery. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and served Hot. Perfect temperature to melt some added butter on top. The turkey and ham sandwich was great! Very tasty. Nicely toasted bread, and the side of fries were crispy and light. I would definitely say this is a great spot for families, a business breakfast, good date spot, and also a great place for tourists traveling through the area who are looking for good food, served quick, at an affordable price. Parking is definitely plentiful, and free. There's a huge lot with a couple handicap spaces as well. Tell them I sent you, and please mention this review. 🙏

Newly opened and remodeled, The Galloping Hen is an awesome replacement for the old Tommy's. The food is excellent and the prices are really reasonable. Definitely great food at a great price. The staff is friendly and attentive. Esteban, the owner, comes around and makes sure everything is good. Opened for breakfast and lunch. An omelet with toast and potato's is 13.99. Coffee is really good too. Very clean.

What a nice cute cozy cafe to enjoy a lovely birthday brunch with my relatives. The owners are super friendly and social. Excellent service, the food is really fresh and tasty. The organic Latte and cappuccino were perfect. I recommend zooza Cafe!

This is an "old school" diner with excellent food, unbelievably efficient servers, and that wonderful diner atmosphere! I can't believe I have lived in Simi Valley for 12 years and didn't know about this place...always complaining that Simi Valley had no good American breakfast places...boy was I wrong! I could eat here every day...if I wanted to weigh 400 lbs! The Awesome Omelet was AWESOME and my server (dark hair didn't get her name) was incredible! The place was packed and these two girls handled it admirably!

This is the kind of place where if you “know the owner” you’ll probably be fine, but if you have never been before, don’t bother. The food was… fine? I have only been once, and while I don’t have any real desire to return, I can’t speak on the menu as a whole since I only had a small portion of it. My omelet was awful. Over cooked rubber.

I wish I had nice things to say about Firehouse, which is basically a luncheonette. I have not been able to return since the gagging incident in which they were apparently snaking their drains and the entire place inside and out smelled of raw sewage. The food is OK though you have to accept the fact that they’re not open for dinner, but it is very expensive. Constantly crowded and very loud. Frankly, with all the offerings in Simi Valley, there is no reason to eat at this place. Especially with the smell of feces.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner? Campos Famous Burritos is always a good choice. By far it’s been a local favorite here in Simi Valley for years. The fresh authentic Mexican flavor and quality will quickly make Campos Mexican Restaurant a place you find yourself going often. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. You can walk in and order or call ahead of time for a fast curbside pickup. If you’re dining in consider the nice outdoor patio they have. You won’t be disappointed.

They have the best wet burritos with enchilada sauce. Worth the extra few dollars. Get the combo plate.

I love this. It is a guilty pleasure. We used to come here since I was a kid. I can’t believe it’s still in the same location. In fact, I used to live at Bruno Campos home over on Ardenwood! I used to rent out the beautiful apartment that he has custom built over his garage but anyway this place is delicious. I love the smothered enchiladas as I said it is a guilty pleasure. You must try it at least once.

I came to this Del Taco location since I was in the plaza at Tmobile store and wanted some fries. I made the order through the app since I was thought it would make my food be ready faster. After I walked out of the tmobile store, I went back to the Del Taco app and tap that I'm here. When I walked inside the store, the worker said they just started making the fries so I would have to wait. The good thing about this is that the fries will be fresh but the bad thing is that the wait was about 5 minutes. So ordering through the app doesn't mean anything until you actually got to the area where Del Taco is and check in. The fries were delicious, seasoned well and fresh. The interior of this Del Taco is better than most that I seen. Bathroom is also outside so it's not inside the store. My score: Food: 5 star, the fries were delicious and that's usually why I'll come here. Atmosphere: 4 star, it's not the best and it's not the worst. Service: 5 star, I didn't have any issues when I came here beside waiting for my fries.

Definitely one of the more nicer employees when it comes to Del Taco. This specific Del Taco has some great quality when it comes to the food. It does take a bit longer than other restaurants to get the food, but at least you know they are making it from scratch. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the service can be a bit faster and the Drive thru can use some work, otherwise the employees are extremely nice and the food is on point

Well, just remember to check your bags before leaving, every time folks! Even if they do great for 20 times in a row, one day you'll be surprised when you turn out into traffic and your kids are whining about being thirsty but they gave you to go cups with no straws. Do you turn around and endure a 10 minute delay getting back into the parking lot? Do you risk giving your kids the stawless cup? I'm getting an extra large Hi C punch cleaned out of my interior now.

Smell taco everybody loves smelly taco! Here's a quick pro tip for you always get snack tacos because they sell more of them obviously they're like cheap! But if you get snack tacos the hard shell is always going to be fresh usually it won't be stale nobody likes a hard soft taco if you know what I mean if you get the regular taco 🌮 they don't sell enough so the hard shell tends to be stale which is a soft hard taco! I am so sick if this place messing up my order and overcharging me! They don’t listen to your order and are too busy upselling asking if you want an epic grande steak avocado burrito. No, just a taco. Do you want a combo. No, but I don’t want tomatoes on the taco. You want a large coke? No! I want small fries. You want a churro? No! You want a quesadilla? Do you want any drinks? No! Do you want any deserts? No!!!! Do you want anything else? NOO!!! Okay pull forward for your total…you can’t check your order our timer us on. Please pull away. Meanwhile they charge me for a coke, charge me for a regular/medium fry, not a small like I ordered. Tomatoes on my taco. It’s just ridiculous. 2 tacos, a red burrito and small fry end up costing $14. Never again!

My favourite part about Del Taco (Of the Taco) is the atmosphere. There's nothing like being in a Del Taco drive through, it's like a concert but better. They even have a speaker for the Del Taco Taco Friend™ to speak to you through. Talk about futuristic! If the car in front of you is an older car, you might even get a whiff of classic petrol. What a treat. When you get to the final window, don't forget to shout "It's jolly taco time!" for a chance to win.

2nd time I had a rude server in this store.I stopped spending so much on coffee but once in a while I will treat myself. I will stop treating myself while shopping so I don't ruin my mood. I stopped by this Starbucks inside Albertsons to get a bagel. They told me they don't have bagels at this location so I got a chocolate croissant instead, I also got iced water. The barista was nice with me and toasted my croissant. There some tables and chair for people to sit at.

Worst Starbucks in Simi! I feel bad for the young staff because they actually do a good job but the manager and older staff are the problem. The manager took a personal phone call while my mother was in line waiting to place an order and had to wait for her to finish! I ordered a grande and she gave me a tall🤦‍♀️

Busy, but tranquil SB coffee location in Wood Ranch. Has drive thru and walk in / sit down areas. Serves all the deli type foods, sells SB mugs snd travel containers. Open from 5 am to 9pm most days, closes at 8 pm on Sundays. Employees friendly and helpful.

Going into Albertsons on Madera for a passion ice tea is a joy. Not the long lines, quick service and one can have a conversation with the barista . Of course I'm not a every day tea person. Hot chocolate in winter and ice tea during warm weather.

There is an always an excuse not to help the customer, last time we came exactly at 7 and they said we can't help you we are closed, this time we came 6:20 and the excuse that we closed early for a special event and can't help you although the window is open, this is the second time for my 9 years kid walking for about 25 min just to get a treat and they are not available to serve, I even spoke with the manager Ryan and she said sorry can't help.

I said “no,” but the voice asked again, louder. I complied. The food arrived in a bag that was warmer than it should have been, as if it had absorbed the heat of another dimension. The curly fries were perfect—crispy spirals of joy, proof that not all anomalies are hostile. But the burger? The burger defied taxonomy. It looked like a burger, smelled like a burger, but when I bit into it… time slowed. For 3.2 seconds, I saw every mistake I’ve ever made in high definition. Then I swallowed, and it tasted fine. Inside the restaurant, there was a figure. No face, just a Jack mascot head—motionless, watching. It wasn’t an employee. Nobody else seemed to notice. I did. I still do. Final Notes: Service: Efficient, possibly too efficient. Food: Standard Jack in the Box quality with a hint of existential dread. Ambiance: Liminal, borderline anomalous. Would I return? Yes, but only with a containment team and plenty of amnestics.

I like getting Jack in the Box for a quick meal. I love their chicken sandwiches and recently I tried a breakfast combo with hash browns, eggs, mini pancakes, sausage, and bacon. It was really delicious and a great meal to fill me up. I got my brother some curly fries and chicken sandwiches. There wasn’t a huge line, just like two or three people in front of me. The person taking my order was very nice and caring. I totally recommend going to Jack in the Box, they’re prices are pretty good. I got all of my food for about $20, which the breakfast combo was really big.

Ordering in mobile app is easy and quick. You can also select to have the food start being prepared before you get there which gives them bonus points over other places! The location of this Jack-in-the-Box is not the best as the parking lot is small. However, we have never encountered a huge line or a long wait. The staff has been great overall last few times. They eere friendly and efficient. We had no issues with our order and everything seemed fresh. Definitely recommend this location over other local ones.

How is this a 4.1 location when it's so unsatisfactory. rascim at finest speaking Spanish and was eating a sub from next door and I was going to order a refresher after my meal but was rushed to purchased drink. If not i was going to be asked to leave. Have been here many times as loyal patron and have not ever been treated as such.I do not know is it because I am brown or because this location is biased towards indigenous people. I thought segregation was non existent, but I felt as if I was profiled.

I am not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, but every time I go into this location I get the best service and every barista is very friendly and cheery. It’s the only one in Simi Valley that actually has smiling and happy baristas. I really enjoyed the girl who helped me. She answered all my questions and was happy to help. I forgot her name but she has reddish hair.

I mostly come here just to hang out and do things on my computer. It’s very cozy inside and the temperature is usually pretty good. The amount of people inside is a good amount, so you can usually get a good spot to sit at. It can get loud at times due to the workers making drinks, which makes sense. I really love their strawberry açaí refreshers and their food. I would recommend to many people.

The baristas have always been good and friendly, but lately it seems the orders for pikes place are taken and then just sit for eternity on the coffee maker. And especially so when requesting a refill. Sometimes it sits so long it cools off and has to be dumped and repoured.😔 Maybe they're just understaffed and being overworked?

7:11 pm, walked from far to get my dog a pup cup, online says closes at 7:30 pm. My pup loves coming here and knows exactly what we come for. Doors were locked at 7:11 p.m. I kindly knocked on the door and two of the employees shake their heads and say no with a hand gesture saying cut off, aka closed. I pointed to my watch and they kept shaking their heads and saying no. So unprofessional and RUDE

My favorite Starbucks in Wood Ranch, Simi. I like it here bcoz the music is eclectic, the lighting and room is inspiring. Not to mention.. really welcoming employees.

I ordered a Double Smash Jack without the Good sauce. I received 2 patties and 2 tiny strips of bacon. This isn't the first time they've cut corners like this. NOT WORTH $15!!!

The food was very salty - more than the average fast food joint, and bore little resemblance to the images shown on the Jack in the Box menu. The service was OK - indifferent, bordering on rude. Note that the parking lot is separate from the one to Carl's Jr.

If you know you know. It's Jack in the box, or as I call it with my friends, "The French place, Jacques in la box". The only French restaurant that serves Mexican food. With that being said, get whatever, but add the 2 taco deal and a side of egg rolls or stuffed jalapenos, or just get the tacos, you won't be sorry Oh the new-ish "tiny tacos". Those are great too.

I had a promo code in the app but due to a known bug (that’s what the called it, other people had come in and said the same thing) it wouldn’t let me check out. So, I went to the store and they were not helpful at all. I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review, but they literally laughed at me when I asked if I could redeem the code. Very rude, unprofessional, and honestly insulting. I’ll never be coming back here, or to any other Jack in the Box again. What a waste of time.

I have visited this location in the past. Like most fast food restaurants the food is average but most of the employees are polite and do a good job. But if you are planning to use coupons make sure you call before you go there. I tried to used THE FAMILY BUNDLE for $16 and the breakfast platter combo for $4.49 and I was told that this location is not participating in the program.

This is a good Jack in the box. Pretty quick when it comes to the food. Ordering through the app is always suggested as you can get rewards and some offers from free food to percentage off. The chicken nuggets at this location is definitely suggested as they do it right. Only issue is drive thru can be a bit slow sometimes and they can’t hear you thru drive thru box, otherwise 4/5 easily.

The newly remodeled Simi Valley Town Center Starbucks is absolutely fantastic! The interior looks stunning, providing a fresh and inviting atmosphere. I recently visited to get a large order of cool drinks for our office staff due to the heat wave, and the experience was seamless. Despite placing an order for ten drinks, the friendly staff handled it effortlessly and with a smile. The team’s efficiency and warm demeanor made my visit exceptionally pleasant. I highly recommend this location for both the ambiance and excellent service. It’s the perfect spot for a quick coffee run or a relaxed meeting with friends.

Did a mobile order for 2 drinks sitting in Makenna breakfast tacos parking lot (should have bought a drink there, right?) App said 4-7 minutes. I completely understand it’s not an exact science as far as wait time. Drove from Tapo Canyon to Hwy 118 and First location. When I got there, drinks were not ready and the barista was having a back and forth conversation with what seemed to be a regular, chalk it up to good customer service I suppose, but all the while my drinks have not even begun being made. After their conversation was over was when he told me they would now begin working on my drinks, mind you, I had already been IN STORE for 5+ minutes. Then, when they gave me my drink, it was quite low and full of ice (I ordered light ice) as pictured. After taking it back and asking for it to be remade, the 2nd pic is the remade product. Would it have been so difficult to make that the first time? The mobile ordering is supposed to add convenience for the customer and it absolutely did NOT. 3/13/25: I figure I’ll just use this review as a living journal of the times I get shorted on a drink and/or they incorrectly make it while also giving credit when it goes good because it really isn’t fair to base it off of one visit. 3/14/25: a little better today. Got the light ice correct. I think what bothers me the most is the inconsistency. 3/17/25: drink was exactly what I hope for every time. This is my favorite Starbucks to go to. I live closer to another but opt to go here because staff is pleasant and friendly. I don't like the seating arrangement. Its not as inviting.

Standard Starbucks fare. The drinks were excellent, although the food, while tasty, was overpriced and not much to look at. Also, the atmosphere was definitely festive so close to Christmas, but too loud to have any semblance of a reasonable conversation. We may be back, but I suspect our order will be 'to go'.

I wish this was my every day lifestyle. Yet I am content with my once in a month buy from Starbucks. I got the Pistachio Frappuccino customized with 1 banana, 3 pumps of Hazelnut syrup, mocha drizzle, and extra cinnamon powder. The best I could have asked for. This area is very clean, and busy as well. Worth the wait time because the bartenders just know how to follow procedures. Thank you amazing crew!

The service was good. Staff was friendly and very pleasant. I do wish the drive through lanes where a big larger tho and not so much of a tight turn in. The also have the other street blocked off so you’re forced to pull forward into the drive through.

Definitely one of the busier chick fil a especially at lunch time. Employees are kind and quick but there’s been a few times where they gave me my drink and it looked like it was tipped over. The sauce shortage also became a bit of an issue as we can only get like 2 per meal. The food is on point and is always delicious. Overall, definitely good but hopefully they don’t spill drinks.

Last night, my son went to the drive-through and ordered $60 worth of food. At the time he was informed that he would not be able to get the two large mac & cheese and small mac & cheese that he ordered. Since it was so late in the evening, they didn’t have enough. So they gave him two small mac & cheese. Needless to say they failed to remove the two larges. In addition, they failed to add the Kayle crunch that was ordered. This was the second time that a situation like this had occurred. This is roughly a $12 difference in the bill.

I like this place and most of their food except they can't get their waffle fries right. I always find them a bit soggy and undercooked. They refuse to do them well-done, on request, like In-n-Out. Wish they had a better lite lemonade. Still far too sweet, too many calories.

Check your order before you drive all the way home. I got about 5 waffle fries in my large fry order.

Always a lot of people here at meal time but we found a table just fine. I love that you can order food from your table on your phone and then they bring it to you. Definitely kid-friendly.

I finally had a chance to come to this Del Taco near my work. I really love Del Taco fries when it's done right. I brought my lunch for work which was just carne asada and chicken but I wanted fries with it. So I decided to come to this Del Taco to get fries and a drink. I was deciding if I should order from the app but I figured they won't be busy. This Del Taco is right off the freeway and I pass it so many times. I found parking easily since they were not busy and when I went inside they only had 1 guest waiting. The lady working did take a while to come take my order but when she did it was quick. I got a macho fries and a large drink, I went with the cherry coke since they still have the soda machine here. My fries were out quick and I took it back to the office to eat it. My friends were not seasoned at all but good thing I had salt and black pepper in the office. It helped along with the ketchup but it tasted to me like they overcooked the fries or the oil was not quite ready because it was just okay but not like other Del Tacos.

Today at 6:13 a.m. in the morning I went to del taco in simi Valley off first street and enchanted st there was a young lady working there ive seen her there before and she was rude that time so i recognized her she was throwing out the trash I was parked across from the dumpster I went out of my car to.clean my windshield before I placed my online.order and she passed by me 8 ft away I said good morning and she completely ignored me so I placed my online order and I ordered a few things including a regular strawberry Shake I went to the windo to pick up my order and it was the girl she said the shake machine was just turned on and they couldn't make my shake and offered me another drink but I said no I really want the shake so I asked how long until the.machine is ready to.make milkshakes she said 10.or more minutes I told her I'll wait and she wasnt understanding me finally I got her to n understand but she didn't sound like she wanted me to wait she kept on telling me they could get me another drink and that it woukd take more then 10 minutes she said I could get a refund online but that wasnt true because I tried anyway long story short she gave me a cash refund but only gave me $4 so I was short a few cents the shake was $4.39 plus tax my issue is that the girl is not friendly and needs a personality and if the shake machine isn't able to make shakes you shouldn't be able to order online because the app.let me order a shake and the machine wasnt ready to make the shakes and I didn't get back exactly how much I spent

6/24/24 update. No better. Tomatoes old and mushy. Asked for extra Salsa Casera on our tostadas, got None. The Del Tacos, good. Fries, (first timer), good. Regular, "The Del Taco", good. Decided to try "Grilled Chicken Taco" as well. Check the pick. Huge piece of lettuce core, maybe 2 tablespoons of chicken????

Drive thru definitely gets busy especially during the lunch rush. Lots of parking available and decently well kept inside. Located right off the freeway, so easy to get to or a quick stop wherever you’re headed. It’s fast food, don’t have your standards so high. They have a lot of options available.

I literally hate that this is the only place open during my work lunch. The girl taking our orders is always SO RUDE. Unnecessary attitude to everyone and overall just worse customer service I’ve ever received from a restaurant. It is actually insane to hear the amount of attitude given to everyone ordering. If customer service isn’t your thing, please get out of it because messing up people’s mood is NOT cool.

It almost 5am and they are closed. Multiple times now. No one answers the phone either. I work at 5am and would be nice to have some hot coffee and breakfast before work. They are not open 24 hours. They close their drive thru every night and leave the open drive thru sign on. Always disappointed...

SO GOOD. Bagels are huge and such good quality. I love the north of the border on a cheddar cheese bagel for a savory choice or a chocolate chip bagel toasted with butter or a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese for more of a sweet choice. Can’t go wrong with anything here

The bagels here are absolutely the best I’ve had. I’m not really a bagel fan but this place has turned me into one. I’ve been here twice in the last week and will definitely return. They have a variety of different cream cheeses you can choose from. It’s a cute little shop. The cashier had great customer service. 10/10 would recommend!

Really nice place, fresh, good customer service. Seems popular with locals. But these are not really bagels, something closer to a roll. They are huge, taste good, generous with the cream cheese, but if you are looking to scratch your bagel itch, this place will not do it. I suspect they are best for sandwiches. This is primarily take out place with just a couple tables.

First time here, and bagels are really good. Nice and friendly service and easy to order, you pick a menu item then choose the bagel of your choice. If your in the area give it a try. I got the Pepperoni Pizza bagel and the Turkey Delight

I like this place but I feel that once the old owner sold it, the food isn’t as fresh and it doesn’t taste the same. The food is good if your in a pinch and want something but if your getting a sandwich it is not quick, be prepared to wait for a while.

Honestly the best Bagel Deli anywhere in the Simi and Thousand Oaks area. The BLT is my favorite with a little added Turkey on a Jalapeño and Jack Cheese bagel.

One of the best places to get bagels! Lots of options for different bagels, love the jalapeno and cheese. They also have different flavored cream cheeses. Their bagel sandwiches are delicious, I love that they offer sprouts. Last time I got the lox and it was perfect.

I recently visited McDonald's in this location, and I had a generally positive experience. The service was great—staff members were very nice and helpful, making the visit enjoyable. The food overall was good, but I did have an issue with the French fries I received; they weren't fresh and tasted stale. It was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to that classic McDonald's fry experience. I hope they can improve on this aspect in the future!

The lady in the drive through was very rude. Rolling her eyes at me with her fan eyelashes. I asked her for a breakfast sandwich that I saw in the app she said they didn’t sell that 🧐 so when I got to the window I showed her the picture from the app and she said “oh we do sell it but only in combo” why didn’t she say that from the beginning, she maid it seem as they didn’t sell it. I just order two combos #1 one with coffe and one with orange juice $20,46, the lady at the window gave me the bag and said is everything in there so we left, they forgot one of the combos!!! Usual McDonald's with minimal employees due to self ordering kiosk. Difficult to get help at the counter sometimes, but the employees were happy to help when you got their attention. Has a playground with wet wipes, so that's cool.

Didn't fulfil orders correctly. Looked busy so i took up with corporate. They provided no solution so just check your order before you leave. They are incorrect more than half the time, so this time was enough to make me bring it up.

This is probably the fastest McDonald's to visit in Simi. Some are friendly, a couple definitely are not. They almost always get my order right. The only thing is that it looks like the patties are super thin, the size of the big Mac is so small now. The bread has less bread substance and more air so it just deflates. Prices went up and the size of the food went down.

Went through the drive-thru this morning. Ordered a large decaf coffee, two sausage burritos and a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The price was just shy of $16 which is ridiculous. When the employee gave me the bag she said to make sure this was my order. I looked in the bag and it only had one sausage burrito and bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. I asked where the second burrito was and was told she only charged me for one burrito…really?? I asked for a receipt and she gave me someone else’s receipt. After being ignored after a couple of minutes and cars behind me I told her this was the wrong receipt. She looked around and found the correct receipt. I should have examined the receipt closer before I drove off. The receipt showed I was charged for two burritos. The receipt showed the total to be $13.48 with $6.52 in change. I only received four (4) one dollar bills and a few coins from a $20 bill. So in summary: I was overcharged by a couple of dollars, received only one of two burritos and got a medium decaf coffee instead of a large decaf coffee. Stay away from this place…

terrible service. have ordered online to pickup on multiple occasions and i get the notification it’s ready. i go in and the food takes another 30 minutes to come out. this place has wasted multiple of my lunch breaks because their workers suck and take 45 minutes to make a mcchicken and fries. i see people come in after me, order and get their food and leave before my pickup even comes out. trash service

Atrocious. The manager was of no help so , understandably, his peers were an accurate reflection of that. Starting with the clearly unhappy employee taking our order who gave nothing but attitude from her first word which was "wait." Followed by her botching our order. Asking the manager to fix it. And we find out that they still messed up but forgetting our drinks. Which is honestly fine because people make mistakes but the girl taking our order was terribly rude. And her mistake wasnt the only one. The fact that they made three mistakes with just one order is appalling and never taking accountability once for it.

This place is the Pitts after 8 pm. Got a double cheeseburger and small fry. Got to the window and was given a small bag. I looked inside (of course, because I have learned to check EVERY thing) and of course the fries were missing. She then apologized and said it will be a minute. So WHY would you want my sandwich to get cold while waiting for my fries to cook. The fries that you were HOPING I would drive off without. This location should NOT be open 24 hours!!!

Mcdonalds will always be...Mcdonalds. you know what its gonna be like before you even pull in the parking lot Thankful Maria takes care of this location!!! We had problems tonight (9/28) and they wnded up comping the whole order courtesy of Maria

Most of the time I get sent to wait at a parking spots after ordering drive thru, it seems like this location is always under staffed, this is the only location that does this in Simi Valley. I dont know why I keep coming here but its my last time.

I was at the drive thru window for about 10 mins and no one ever said anything so I drove up to the payment window; told the gentleman that no one ever helped me and he went ahead and took my order. When I got my order, it was all wrong. What a disappointment.

I stopped by this McDonald's location since I was across the street at the Tmobile store. I got the alert about the Big Mac deal through the app and using the mobile order so I did that. The app is totally broken because the clock delay like 3 minutes so it's not in sync. Going through the drive thru was easy because there was only 1 car in front of me. The app knew when I was around the store so it give me the mobile code. When you pull into the ordering box, it will ask if you're using the mobile app first. After I said yes, the worker responded and I give him the code. When I pulled to the first window, I asked if I could get light ice on my coke and he said that's fine. When I pulled to the second window, they handed me my drink and ask if I wanted any sauces so I said ketchup. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER AND DRINK YOUR SODA BEFORE LEAVING. I took a sip of my drink and it was ice tea so I told them and they refilled it with soda but not with light ice and not filled to the top. Then they forgot to give me ketchup in the bag and position the French fries the wrong way so it of course spilled. The only good thing was that they give me a decent amount of fries and didn't just give a little like other Mcdonalds location has. The Big Mac was okay and they followed my customization by asking for no onions or pickles.

I've never experienced such awful customer service before. Last night 4/3 my friend and I pull up to this location to pick up our mobile orders. Location online says they close at 11. It's 10:45, order was placed at 10:35. The mobile order went through..we arrive and there's a cone in front on the drive thru, we move it because we paid and placed our orders, we get yelled at by an employee and then I tell him we have mobile orders, he mumbles something and waves us thru. We get to the window, sat there for 5 min before Jonathan acknowledged us, asking how can they help us. We say we're picking up mobile orders and then we hear them let out a huge sigh and groan meanwhile Myra who I'm assuming is the manager is in the background saying "no no no I don't have it we don't have it". we tell her it's placed for this location and they don't close till 11. She then wants to say the truth after lying saying our orders weren't placed for there. She proceeds to explain that they shouldn't even be serving us and we shouldn't be in the drive thru because they're short staffed blah blah, she was definitely scrambling on what to say. (Apparently my friend said this has happened before to her boyfriend at this exact location) after going back and forth with both of them who were both very rude, we asked are we getting our money back because the app shows we paid, they gave a crappy explanation and sounded like they had 0 clue what was going on. Sounds like it's an ongoing issue that they're short staffed but sorry if your posted closing time says 11 then you close at 11, not 10:40 or 10:45 ... the fact that this is an ongoing occurrence tells me two things: A. McDonald's/franchise owner don't care about their team being short staffed OR B. The staff is lying and making their own rules to leave faster and closing the restaurant early. If I'm being honest I think it's B. I've worked in customer service for 10+ years and have been a manager for half of that and the way the whole situation was handled was atrocious and ridiculous. I have the whole interaction recorded on video and would be happy to share with corporate. Do better or don't work somewhere that's open till 11 if you want to go home early lmao

The customer service at this location is awful. Employees will not make eye contact with customers and will actively ignore them. I understand Drive Thru is priority but having to wait 15 minutes for a Diet Coke when you’re inside the restaurant is a bit too much. The employees lack proper training. It is difficult for them to make items such as coffee or to correctly differentiate between “diet” and “regular” soft drinks. All you need to do is push the button that says “Diet”, it should be quite simple, but it’s an ordeal for the employees at this location. Hopefully things will change? Who knows.

I've had multiple experiences at this McDonald's, often opting for its convenience. However, the morning service consistently disappoints. The wait time after placing an order regularly exceeds 10 minutes, and excuses like a broken toaster or coffee machine issues are frustratingly common. This morning, despite checking in at 7:39 am, I had to enter the store at 7:56 am to inquire about my order. The drive-thru operated efficiently, but my time was running short to get my kids to school. The manager attributed the delay to a broken toaster, and to make matters worse, my order was incorrect—they included egg despite my explicit request for none due to my son's allergy. I wouldn't recommend this location, and I'd advise avoiding Murphy-owned McDonald's in town, excluding those on LA Ave. The overall experience leaves much to be desired.

Worst McDonald's in the area. Every so often I swing through to see if it has improved at all, but almost without fail something is wrong with the order. They are also pretty consistent about up charging you for a larger size without asking. Also, the drive through is consistently slow.

I honestly hate this place and will never come back to this location, the employees are obnoxiously rude and stupid. The food looks demolished and the fries are always scattered everywhere in the bag. My daughter and her friend were speaking about something that had nothing to do with the manager and he disagreed with their opinion as if he was in the conversation. Rudest people ever and such such long lines. Never ever coming back to this shack.

I ordered on the app.This location is 5 minutes and closest.Sent hubby to pick up. There were no milkshakes available I ordered 2. The app didn’t say not available, if it had I would go elsewhere as that was what everyone wanted!.The burritos were unmarked forcing us to open all items trying to determine whose it was. Disgusting when opened!! The steak w/ pico-guacamole had no guac, just gray matter akin to vomit.,Ice cold. After seeing this, yes you got it, In the trash it went.The tostada was freezer cold.in center. Had to microwave it then guess what? Pure mush no crunch. In the trash. Cost was $42.00 for 4 items less 2 shakes they don’t have. 2 items trashed, hubby ate he was starving and looked the other way..(men!?) This location needs a corporate visit and employees trained. Absolutely disgusting, appalling what we received for $42.00 no supervision at all. The checked by sticker has NO NAME written to pinpoint responsibility. Why use this measure of check since it clearly is not in use. Don’t put the empty stickers on the bags! No standards followed. 7 pm Saturday 8/10/2024. I can’t ever eat at a Del Taco again. Disgusting. Thx for ripping us off DEL TACO on LA Ave Simi Valley in the Smart & Final shopping center. $42.00!!!!!! Gone! Oh the FRIES! Hit the grease for 2 sec. Not cooked! Limp grease!!! I don't normally review fast food because it's fast food. Everything about it can change daily depending on who's working and how busy it is. They gave me half a freaking Epic Burrito tho! This thing costs 8 bucks. It was everything but epic. Smh. Go support a mom & pop counter order place. With how much fast food costs now u might as well go get something fresher & higher quality. It only costs a lil more, tastes better and the local family owned spots need our business more and appreciate our business more. I mean when I'm low on funds and got the munchies I'm sure I'll be on their app again but jeez... I included a 16.9 oz water bottle in the pic so u have something to compare it to. Del Taco was definitely a miss on this day.

It was pathetic. Ordered a del beef burrito, fries, taco & drink. First the fries were old and cold, the taco may have been a veggie taco cause the little stream of meat was terrible and the soda needed syrup because all you could taste was soda water with a hint of something. When trying to explain to young kid that I had a problem with my menu I was met with just a blank stare and silence. Spoke to so called management and they could only give excuses no solution. The fries were supposedly fresh, bull no one was in there and they were already up when I ordered. The taco is the way they come but for extra I can get double meat. And yes they will check into soda dispenser, gave me a soda from drive thru area, never once going over to check while we were in there. No wonder it was dead in there why would you waste your time and money in a place that doesn't care to correct a situation, at least make some fresh fries for goodness sake even if the amount of meat is the alotted amount their allowed to put in, which I can't believe it is that small. Won't go back no matter the fact I get coupons every week for there. What a waste. Would love to be their secret shopper and report them every week until they correct all that's wrong there. Starting with training if employees.

Super inconsistent with food portions. I ordered an epic burrito w add ons and extra chicken for $12 and got back a burrito smaller than my hand. Its the size of the 2$ burritos. I didnt get my extra chicken. I called to arrange something with them and no one ever picks up.

The food is decent, but the workers are not. I passed and they had 2 girls in the drivethru. The one taking orders literally seemed like she hated her job. She didnt feel welcoming and was rude over the speaker. When I went up to the window, another girl basically threw the terminal at me to pay, no eye contact, ignored me whwn I was being a decent human being and saying hi. I asked for more sauce and she gave me a mug look as well as the girl behind her taking orders. If you're gonna hire what seems to be highschool girls, atleast give them proper training on how not to make the business lose people or get bad reviews.

What can I say: fast food Faux Mexican food of a combo burrito with a lot of super spicy hot sauce in the bag I retrieved from the drive-thru window. No complaints... everything was as I'd expected abd the food was hot and acceptable, made even better by the Inferno sauces I'd applied (8 packets.) Yum.

This is the worst del taco in town. Don’t go here. If you want attitude when asking for any sauce to go with your meal then you should go here
