Nice little strip mall location. The furniture is a little beat up but otherwise it is clean and welcoming with a friendly staff. They have a very large menu, especially their breakfast items. Prices are average for the area. We had a meat lovers scramble, Nutella stuffed French toast, and a potato nest (hash browns wrapped around an omelet). All were good choices and none of us left hungry. *One year later and the food is just as good or better. The staff is very patient with our elderly family member, which is much appreciated.

Really enjoyed our breakfast at Katies after a suggestion from a friend. Service was prompt and they did a great job of keeping coffee and beverages filled. Portions were a bit small for price, but comparable to other restaurants in the vicinity. I really enjoyed the skillet special, had great flavor, would have liked just a bit more though. We will be back.

Katie's Kitchen is what a local restaurant should be. Fresh, friendly and a fantastic menu. Stopped in for a cup of coffee and had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. New York bagel was the right density, with a golden-brown, glossy crust and a fluffy interior. It paired perfectly with the sausage, egg and gooey cheese. Each chewy bite better than the next, the side of fruit evened out the salty crust. Coffee was endless with a side of fresh half and half. Their coffee was a perfect blend providing a smooth, aromatic and roasted flavor profile. Glad to say the ingredients from Katie's Kitchen shine through the whole meal. Kudos to Joann who kept the brew coming with a smile and really took care of all the tables without skipping a beat.

I really enjoyed my breakfast! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I really liked the menu. Definitely will be back! Got the steak skillet and biscuits and gravy. Both hit the spot. The were on Chicago’s Best for the Huevos Rancheros. I almost ordered that; next time!

Really great relaxed atmosphere, good coffee (I’m picky about coffee, too). The hash brown skillet was pretty dang good! Server was excellent - my coffee never got close to empty. She checked in on me without being overbearing at all. I wish this place was closer to me. I just stopped in to burn some time while I’m stuck in the area. Really lucked out coming here.

I've lived in the area for a few years now but hadn't heard of Katie's Kitchen until last week. I checked it out yesterday and the steak sandwich was amazing! 10/10 recommend! The french toast with cinnamon apples was also very good. Good price, no wait on a Saturday for brunch, and fast service. Can't wait to go again!

I ordered the country skillet, and every bite tasted homemade—perfectly seasoned potatoes, fluffy eggs cooked just right, and sausage that had that rich, hearty flavor you can’t fake. The pancakes were golden, buttery, and generously portioned, with real maple syrup that took them over the top. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Katie herself came by our table to check in, making us feel like family instead of customers. This isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to slow down, savor, and feel at home.

This restaurant is always on our weekend agenda! Today we enjoyed our usual order of zucchini omelet & the silver spring (menu items you have to try!) but we changed out our yummy buttermilk pancakes for the blueberry oat pancakes and they are amazing!! If you are looking for a breakfast place to fill your belly, Gail’s is the place!!!

I’ve been going to Gail’s since I moved to Des Plaines in 2014. It’s a staple in our community and with my family, friends & neighbors. Everyone knows how much I love Gail’s and EVERY person in it! Today was way special, Nikki actually put my name on the menu for the “Hanky Panky” - her own recipe she shares. It’s comfort food that is beyond delicious. It’s basically a ‘cheesy sloppy joe’ on sourdough toast! But seriously EVERYTHING they make is amazing! If you haven’t experienced Gail’s I urge you to try it! You’ll be amazed and wowed and will become a regular like me!!

I was really disappointed with this restaurant, especially since it had so many good reviews. The potatoes tasted like they were just boiled, not baked or fully cooked. I ordered the marinated steak skillet, but the steak was not marinated at all . It was simply covered in barbecue sauce. The “freshly juiced” orange juice was definitely Tropicana, not fresh. The “fresh baked” banana bread was clearly store-bought, toasted until it was hard. Even the coffee was bad. Overall, the food was not good and definitely not worth the hype.

The veggie potato pancake is salty and too floury. The pancake is so thick and not good also. The sausage is very salty and the bacon is super dry. The spud is very good, though! It is truly better to eat at home! Gail's used to be great, but not anymore!

4 servers working and 1 in training, a busboy and 2-3 cooks. There were maybe 20 people in the restaurant and I still had to ask for coffee. I liked this place for years, but I will never go back. The prices are way too high, but the food is good. Customer service lacking. Sad.

Nice but a little on the smaller side restaurant Not a lot of staff, but the server did a good job managing the tables, tight space where I had to keep scooting my chair to let people get through. Lots of menu options, food was pretty good. Good place to visit if you are in the area

Took a little detour off of the Tri-State to have some brunch here this past October on our way to a farmers' market in South Barrington. Just like quite a few brunch restaurants I've been to out in the 'burbs, just good ol' home cooking at reasonable prices in a cozy space with friendly service. Good all-around American-Mexican eats that I would definitely stop back in for if ever in the area again, we live up in Beach Park. Wish for continued boomin' business for the owner(s).

In Chicago for the weekend, and wanted to try a small family diner for brunch. This place blew our expectations out of the park. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was PHENOMENAL. The atmosphere in the dining room was cozy and comfortable. The menu had a lot of delicious options, it was hard to choose! 11/10 would recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. Definitely worth it.

First visit was because it was at a convenient location for a meet-up but now know it's a destination - I'll be returning because it's special. Extensive menu, and that's not counting all the daily specials, at reasonable prices. The food was terrific and in a comfortable atmosphere. Best of all were the people - attentive and so friendly. A big shout out to Jessica and Maria!

I used to eat here often, but life changes don't bring me to the neighborhood as often. Yesterday I found myself craving breakfast and drove out of my way for the scrambled eggs and chorizo. I chose the options of pancakes and hash browns. The meal was terrific, and I especially appreciate that the hash browns were served as I ordered them--well done. That doesn't happen often on the weekends.

Tiny, crowded, old school diner. I almost had to turn sideways to walk through the room. They have Cholula on each table, that's a good sign. They have a friendly hustling staff, and there are plenty of menu choices with decent prices. The skillets on the other tables looked really good. It was the Down Home for me (biscuits and gravy with eggs). Good country gravy and plenty of it, with perfectly baked biscuits. Thumbs up. She enjoyed her corned beef hash skillet. We both agreed that they have good solid food. I'd probably give them five stars if I didn't feel so claustrophobic. Make it four and half stars.

I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the country breakfast skillet. The flavor was great and hearty, though it had a bit too much sausage for my taste, it kind of overpowered the rest of the dish. I also tried the pancakes, which were on the denser side. Not bad, just not quite my style. Overall, the place was okay,good flavors, but a few tweaks would’ve made it more enjoyable for me.

Absolutely my new favorite spot. The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable the customer service was so great it is like visiting family. Hands down the Pastor Skillet and iced macchiato are perfect feel good for the soul food this place is a true Gem !

Everything was great! Until, my son wouldn't eat his eggs. I picked his plate up and there was a long, thick, black strand of hair. I know it wasnt on purpose, but it ruined the rest of the breakfast.

I was visiting family in the area and tried this place based on the reviews and the claim of "best breakfast in Northern Illinois". I had called this place and one other breakfast cafe and the person that answered my call was friendly and helpful. I dined here with a party of 7. I will say the service was exceptional. Our waiter Christian was attentive, friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait too long for our food either. I will say that the food quality is about a 3.5/5. Nothing quite stood out, but it was definitely edible. My only comment would be the "hashbrowns" AKA cubed potatoes were overcooked, needed more seasoning, and were a bit on the oily side. Best breakfast? For the cost, service, and atmosphere - maybe. Definitely a better choice than Denny's or IHOP.

Before it got its title of being the best in Northern IL, this was always my families go to spot for cheap comfort breakfast food. After years of not eating here, my family and I were disappointed to say the least, seeing how poor the service and quality of food had gotten. First, when we arrived, we were told to just “sit wherever” and Miriam just walked away. After sitting ourselves down, it took 10 minutes before Jorge, the main server, attended us. Considering it was not busy at all, we expected to be provided with quick and friendly service. Although Jorge was kind, he checked in on us only one time after our food was served and we never saw him again throughout our stay to the point where I had to be quick in catching him before he moved on after attending a nearby table. Secondly, the food was so incredibly bland it was upsetting. I ordered the french toast with fresh strawberry topping, egg and bacon combo. The eggs were rubbery, the french toast was pretty much just a plain piece of wheat bread, and the strawberries were pretty sour considering they were mainly spoiled. I will say from the party of five, there was one person at the table who enjoyed their meal. Finally, when it came to paying the tab, Miriam didn’t even know where we sat as she asked what number table we were as if we were supposed to know how their layout is, and how many was the party. Talk about great hospitality! During our time there, there was one server who truly appeared to provide great service to her tables! She seemed very attentive and quick. Wish we had her! Maybe she could give a quick refresher course in service training to the rest of the staff. Sadly, we will not be coming here again.

This is a very unassuming gem. Inside has a skylight, warm wooden tables, and staff that are happy to serve you. I've been hearing twice now and their food has been great nothing too frilly! Depending on when you come parking might be tricky along with a wait, but I've gone on a Sunday at 9am and I had no wait with plenty of parking.

Food and price were okay. Service was awful. Never checked back on drinks unless bringing food or check. Never even looked at our table so I could wave. Not busy at all, felt like we were unwelcome. Best breakfast? What a joke. We won't be back.

We were sat quickly and attended to even quicker. Our orders were placed pretty fast, and our food came to us In a timely manner. I had the meat skillet wasn't that bad it tasted okay. The others enjoyed everything on the table, especially the soup of the day, which was very delicious with some good crackers.

Seated very quickly. Very pleasant server very attentive. Food came out quickly and hot. Food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We are from out state and very pleased to have googled breakfast restaurants and found Tiffany’s.

Tiffany’s gets 5 stars from me because it’s always awesome and the staff are always amazing. We come here often for trade shows. Although we are never disappointed, my banana was this time. Haha I highly recommend Tiffany’s.

Insane food. Incredible portions. We had the steak omelette and mixed meat benedict. We ordered biscuits and gravy on the side. Coffee was good. Zero complaints!

We had just landed at O’hare and needed a place to stop for lunch before heading north. We were quickly sat, our server was super friendly and took excellent care of us!

Breakfast here is pretty good, but dinner was not. Ordered the cheeseburger and the bun was hard and dry as heck! The coleslaw was the worst I ever had at any restaurant! The fries were tasty! My friend had the fish and it was good, but the tartar sauce was absolutely nasty! The first waitress for breakfast was really sweet and on top of things. The second one for dinner took our order and then disappeared! Of course she came back to hand out the check but pretty much couldn't find her when we needed something. Oh, and the place was empty!

Delicious chicken dumpling soup. The best thick chewy dumplings. Delicious eggs Benedict with crab. Thick fluffy pancakes. Great chefs. Will return on Wednesdays for the soup.

Absolutely loved this place not only is it in a plaza next to a lot of different other foods it's service and efficiency is amazing! The hospitality here is great our server was Michelle I believe was her name. Everyone here from the waitress to the rest of the staff very well ran place. Food was delicious as well the desserts yum 10/10 we had their cheese cake and tiramisu we loved it. Had their meatlovees skillet definitely a hit. We tried one of their smoothies was so healthy tasting while tasty at the same time. Burger was delicious their fries amazing everything here was great definitely give them a try if you are in the area!! Good job bathrooms are clean and more thn enough room for all different size groups

This is a great little restaurant that I've been to for breakfast and my daughter has ordered out from several times, but I never was here for dinner until a friend recommended that we go here. It was amazing! The chef prepared high scale dinners and it's extremely affordable. The warm garlic bread as you sit was a nice touchI will definitely be back! It is BYOB if you're interested in a cocktail with your dinner.

We just visited Sunrise Grill for breakfast, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The menu was clear, easy to navigate, and packed with great options. I already felt prepared to order, but our server Amanda went above and beyond—she was exceptionally kind and hospitable. She even walked us through how flexible the menu is and gave a great example of how any dish could be adapted. I ended up taking her recommendation and ordered the chorizo, feta, and avocado omelette. Absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. Highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast with genuinely warm service.

Sunrise Grill catered a graduation party for me this past Saturday. They brought everything needed to have a taco bar. I didn't have to do one thing. They cooked the tacos fresh for each person and provided all the toppings as well. I could not have been happier. The portions were very large and everyone commented on how good the food was. There were 2 people that came, one server and one cook. Highly recommend. Worth every penny! Amazing staff and cook! Food was delicious

Have been eating here for years and decided to try their catering for a family party. Michelle was very helpful with helping me plan my meal and taking special attention to some special requests for my 95 year old father. The salad, sandwiches, and pasta dishes were amazing and everyone at the party asked where I ordered from. I will definitely be trying their breakfast catering menu for an upcoming brunch. Great food and service and great prices!

I was promptly seated and served. The delicious New Orleans salad came quickly. Staff checked on me six times and regularly filled up my coffee. I will definitely visit again.

Busia, DziaDzia, Gerald and I had lunch at this cool family restaurant with a vintage flair. This unique place gives quality freshness and hospitality in Des Plaines. I noticed after we sat down the place got busy. Busia mentioned Blintzes which is an entree I didn’t eat yet. Next time I’m going to have to try it, I just couldn’t steer myself away from a good Benedict. I had to apologize to the family and the waitress because I couldn’t decide what to eat. Jaja 😛 We couldn’t finish the delicious food so we were able to bring back leftovers. Breakfast can really be served in all types of ways. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Sugar Bowl. It was a pleasure to eat good food, good conversation with DziaDzia and Busia about Sugar Bowl restaurant, homemade candy, and family. ❤️

Sugar Bowl has been serving amazing food since 1921!! We have been dining here since the 1950's!! The food & staff are both wonderful!! It is the neighborhood restaurant that makes you feel right at home!! You will love breakfast and lunch here. Be here before they close at 4:00. You will absolutely LOVE IT!!

Awesome experience here. Every staff member was sweet and willing to help! They converse with you, ask to help, and are quick to take your order. I highly recommend this establishment! First time I've ever tried poached eggs and it was runny yoke goodness. I would definitely return here!

Absolutely the best food, Not too many places have freshly squeezed the orange juice. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. I'm glad the sugar bowl is still open for business. This place has been around since I was a kid and I am now 47 years old and so go when I get a chance.

I’m the kind of person that will make an initial judgement about a restaurant based on the coffee. They have fabulous coffee. My husband and his godmother both had sandwiches with the chicken dumpling soup. Said it was delicious. I got the gypsy skillet. Thin sliced fried potatoes, chunks of ham , onions sliced mushrooms with melted cheddar cheese. Topped off with two over medium eggs. Perfection in a skillet. Got the pancakes on the side. Yummy. We will be back

My friend picked me up a salad while he was there having breakfast. I got the Mrs V's Salad, the chicken is hard and dry. The edges are dark, like the chicken is old. It's a beautiful salad. Unfortunately, it was spoiled by the chicken.

It's hand down one of the best diners around state. Friendly atmosphere, great food and this Hash Skillet is the BOMB. Don't forget to also include a Sunrise Smoothie to your meals, makes the day feel so much better. Love it since I've been coming here after my early 5am work shifts. Always leave contently full.

Love these little breakfast diners like this one. Very cute. The service was wonderful & everything was super yummy. My bacon was cooked perfectly! Everything had good flavor. Very nice and simple place.

The wife and myself have been going here for years for breakfast every Saturday and I love the food and people that work there, it never disappoints, great food for a good price.

This place is a great little diner. The Carmel Banana French Toast is decadent and worth every calorie. It has to be the best French toast I have ever had in my life. Better than my grandmother's. Another great breakfast spot in the area,and another I will return to when in the Chicagoland area.

I was really craving a delicious soup today. I didn’t even know there was a Panera right here. It was so nice to walk in. Excellent customer service a beautifully clean restaurant. And absolutely delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken, avocado BLT with some chicken and rice soup felt like being wrapped in a hug, perfect little spot to wind down or relax

Stopped in for salads and sandwiches. The food was fresh and delicious like you would expect at Panera. Not sure why but the restaurant seemed a little dirty during our visit. Maybe just bad timing or a staff issue. The food service was great and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

I stopped going to this location because they were always a hit or miss with their service. Very inconsistent or out of ingredients with very long wait times for driver through rapid pickup. Decided to try them again today and was utterly disappointed. Not only did I have to wait 10-15 min for the rapid drive through order but the $6.85 sandwich I ordered was a joke. Quality totally poor.

The food was good. Not great, but good. We ordered from the kiosk, so there are no service issues here. THE RESTAURANT WAS FILTHY. Team members were observed sitting in the unkempt dining area as well as the manager as we exited. He looked right at me as I was filming all the dirty dishes around the trash can. If the restaurant was clean I would have hands down given Panera a 5 rating. SORRY!

Food was mediocre, coffee tasted watered down restroom was disgusting( photos attached), if you’re desperate fine, if not give it a wide berth. Staff don’t care, all looked exceedingly miserable as if couldn’t give a dam definitely a case for a secret shopper or undercover boss visit.

The perfect place to eat before return the rental car at O'hare. It's only 2 minutes drive to the rental car return garage.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby and this Panera Bread was only a short walk away. The kiosk ordering was efficient and my order was ready quickly. The ingredients seemed fresh. Would definitely go here again if I was in the area!

I’m Greek/American and, trust me, I’m very picky with food 🤤. The bathrooms were spotless (yes, I check these things), and the whole restaurant was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained, it’s genuinely a lovely place inside. The food? Absolutely delicious, big portions, bold flavors, the kind of meal that makes you want to come back the next day. The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you get, definitely felt like a win. The only hiccup? They don’t take Amex (my poor card was left out of the fun). But honestly, that’s such a small detail compared to how perfect everything else was. Totally worth stopping in with friends or family, you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t bring your Amex, bring your appetite instead!

Great spot for breakfast! I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict — it was delicious and satisfying. The food was served quickly. Light music was playing in the background, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. I came on a Tuesday morning, and it wasn’t crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Such a wonderful experience at Brunch City Cafe! The owners and waitstaff are very attuned to the needs of their customers. They genuinely want everyone to feel at home here! They took special care of guests with food allergies. We were impressed by their level of attention to our order, all ingredients, and our comfort. They also make really beautiful looking meals!

Friend and I went for breakfast and the space is well lit and looked clean. The restaurant is decorated nice. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. The restaurant is spacious for groups. We were sat immediately. Ordered our food and received it fairly quickly. Customer service was exceptional. My friend order the eggs any style. It comes with a meat, potatoes, toast or pancakes. She opted out of the pancakes/toast because we shared the banana French toast. She also ordered the oatmeal. She stated it was cold and inedible. She had no complaints about the rest of her meal. The banana bread was made well but I wouldn't call it French toast. I would've appreciated more of the drizzle on it. I had the beef brisket tacos, which is supposed to be one of their specialties. The brisket was tender but it lacked flavor. It's as if they were depending on the homemade salsa to give it flavor without seasoning the meat. I had to add salt, pepper, and hot sauce that was on the table to give it enough flavor for me to consume it. If I'm ever in the area again perhaps I will try something different. This place definitely has potential.

This is a standout brunch restaurant with a unique and delicious menu. The Shakshuka is an amazing change from your typical omelet. Of course their omelets are outstanding and their pancakes are among the best in the area. It’s a good brunch experience.

Lovely cafe for brunch or lunch. Ample indoor/outdoor seating alongside parking. Their staff is very welcoming and always serving with a smile. Zoe, form the staff team is phenomenal. Always smiling and making sure all guests are taken care of no matter how busy the cafe is. The menu has options from pancake, to toasts, to omelette, to sandwiches and salads. I got their pizza pancake which was fabulous and their French vanilla coffee (also fab). Pancake was topped with fresh fruits and vanilla custard and the pancake itself was soft till the last bite. Highly recommend the cafe for a friends hangout or just solo date with self ❤️

Have gotten takeout a few times, and then finally went to dine it. The staff is nice, I think it was the manager(?) who even came over to ask how the food was and introduce himself and ask if everything was good. I appreciated knowing it’s a family owned spot, all the more reason to support them. They have good prices, portions, and options. The atmosphere inside is nice and staff have always been kind and helpful. This is my preferred local breakfast/lunch spot 🫶🏼

Angel's is good spot for grabbing brunch. The menu has a decent bit of variety to it. Unfortunately, I've had hit and miss experiences with the menu. Some items have been fantastic while others have been nearly bland. The staff has always been friendly and attentive each visit.

Decent for breakfast, a little pricey for the quality, but it's open early and all you can eat. I kind of wish the breakfast potatoes had onions and peppers mixed in with them.

The food portions are huge here and everything is delicious. The employees are super friendly especially Maria and Enrique! I got the barbecue burger and was surprised at how big it was. I loved everything about the restaurant and will definitely come back more in the future to try the other menu items! I highly recommend you try this out if you are staying at the DoubleTree.

Every year I come here the bartenders act unprofessional and honestly... trashy. Last year the man kept rambling about his inappropriate childhood trauma. This year as I was deciding which food menu to get, which I choose carefully because I have a chronic pain problem and specifically avoid inflammatory foods, he decided that the restaurant is "closed right now" since I didn't order in a split second and wanted to look at the menu. It hasn't even been 60 seconds so I still don't even know what's on the menu yet. He didn't say it in a, "oh sorry we just closed" way, it was a "gotcha" way since I didn't order literally right away. So I did this review before I even looked at the menu because this is the second year in a row. It's probably because they also work exotica that they think they can treat people any way

At the ground floor of Double Tree Rosemont. Not crowded, well functionally designed interior. Service OKish although they offered me a check too early. Reasonable quality of salmon, drinkable merlot.

Great bar & casual dining area. Had the special filet, medium rare!! Perfect & delicious. Bar tender was pleasant & the reason I decided to stay & eat!! Sorry my picture was after eating some 😁.

Depressing, slow service, bartender complaining about management when he gets caught goofing off. It works if you just need food and are too tired to care and don't want to deal with the fantastic steakhouse next door.

Had an amazing time at BC Bistro and Lounge! The drinks were top-notch—creative cocktails with the perfect balance of flavors. The bartenders really know their stuff and are super friendly, making sure every drink was exactly to my liking

Extremely fast service going through the drive thru. There are no self refill soda inside and no self ordering tablet kiosk. It is an older style inside. Go through the drive thru for best results. I think this McDonald's has the best drinks of all in the area.

Every single employee at this location deserves a raise, the service is incredible. I come here multiple times a week during my lunch hour to get French fries and a cheeseburger. Every single time, and I’m not even exaggerating, they serve their French fries HOT! Never soggy, never cold. If your order is taking longer, they have you pull over to one of their reserved parking spots and have someone walking around with a caddy of extra condiments, making sure you have everything you need before you go. The attitude of management in particular is always energetic and positive, even on the busiest days. This location is what every other McDonald’s in the Chicagoland area should strive to be in terms of quality and service.

Iced coffee come standard with cream and sugar worry more about that than asking about flavors Online order ahead of time ..,still had to wait and incorrect missing item. Again no salt on fries. And have to repeat order one thing at a time over n over. Sloppy presentation. Wait time. Loud speaker and where’s salt on fries

I wouldn’t normally consider reviewing a McDonalds but this one was really impressive. My kids and I chose to dine in to kill some time before our hotel check in and it was not like any fast food experience I’ve ever had. The food was brought to our table by the time we sat down practically. Our order was correct and the gentleman who was walking around offered to bring us anything we needed. He kept coming back to see if we needed anything and even offered us some cups of water to go with the kids ice creams. It was all really surprising. We commented on how fast everything was and he said it was the fastest McDonalds in Chicago and I don’t doubt it. It was certainly the best location I’ve ever been to and I worked at a location as a kid.

Seriously the best McDonald’s fries in the area. I drive past FOUR other McDonalds to go to this one because even at 2:30AM the fries are gloriously hot and fresh. I mean, just, right out the fryer perfect. Also the staff is very polite whenever I eat inside. They ask how my meal is and if I want a top off of my drink. Usually they have someone walking around cleaning tables. This is my preferred McDonalds always. I mean I take the TOLLWAY to get here.

If the weather is nice, eat outside. There's tables along the creek and it's really a hidden gem of an area. Service was quick, prices were below average for area McD's. Dedicated handicapped seating as well.

When I ordered ahead, I still had missing items i.e. fries, chicken nuggets and apple slices. The sprite tasted very bitter for lack of better terms. Not your average sprite. I told the night shift worker (she had dramatic makeup on and blonde hair) that I had missing items and instead of giving me all of my items back, she just gave me the missing fries. Completely ignored the other missing items I told her about. I had to reorder after!

Hi I went there last night and we were told it’s going to be a 2 minute wait for fries . No 15 minutes later we got our fries they were cold. We were told to move to parking space 2, we sat and watched for 15 minutes as others got there food. Made it to our destination in 5 minutes and went and bitten into my burger the top was still pink/ red. The bottom was okay, this is unacceptable. Your supposed to checked and make sure all orders are done right and fast I work in food and this is just unreal, I know people who can’t eat meat that’s pinkish red, which it can kill them or get them really sick. Glad to say my boyfriend and I and brother will never be going back it was horrible. ( 20 minutes in line wait 5 waiting for someone to answer the speaker).

Drive through always quick. Food sometime disappointing. Food appearance on the app or at kiosk is different than what you get in your bag or food plate. If you have special requirement (like no ice in drink, fresh fries, no cheese on sandwich) then look at your order before leaving. I was given incorrect order few time. Some staff are good.

Was seeing all over my social media feed that people were getting the collectable Tiny Tan BTS toys from McDonald's a day early of the promotion simply by asking the staff nicely. Decided instead to avoid that and wait until the day of the promotion to be officially made sold to the public. Came to this location with a friend the early morning time of September 3rd. Asked for the happy meal with the new toy. The girl at the speaker box said it was gonna be a problem that first they didn't have them at the location yet and says they only received the display which was then proved to be a lie because later she then explains in detail that shes not "authorized" to sell them (keep that in mind). Is the sign just for show and display? Then I asked why the drive thru menu board was even displaying the tiny tan collectable toys in the happy meal boxes to begin with if they weren't gonna start selling them the day of the promotion? So what, you only sell products when you feel like you want to? I understand that some McDonald's locations have the certain promotions at 'select locations', which she never stated or mentioned at all for this location so that didn't even matter. She continues to reclarify herself again to me saying she is not "authorized" to sell them, made up irrelevant excuses saying that this location is franchised owned and she cannot begin selling the collectable toys in the happy meal until 11am or lunchtime. Not even that, they weren't even selling breakfast yet so her reasons didn't make sense at all. Asked for the manager, told me she was the manager and explained (and continued to repeat that) her store manager was the one telling her she is not "authorized" to include the toys in the happy meal until 11am which again is not mentioned on any McDonald's promotions. So pretty much she was refusing to sell me the happy meal with the included collectable toys on the day the promotion that was said to come out. I don't think the girl knew what she was even saying. Can't believe she is running and representing a business, shouldn't even be a manager to begin with. Are you saying you dont want your business to make sales and win customers? The store manager better start taking notes and talk to this girl; she would rather value being a horrible and unpleasant customer service worker than to run an actual business with a customer base. I used to work in customer service as well, a manager too and this was definitely not the work ethic I was taught. Can't imagine if she turned down an entire line of people who wanted to buy and spend money at their location just for the happy meals and for the collectable toys especially how crazy these kpop idols are nowadays. These kpop fans buy dozens of albums to collect photocards and postcards, what makes you think these people would not want to stop by to buy dozens of happy meals and collect the McDonald's toys? Not to mention she was rude, I understand to take an approach to descalate the situation which in this case she failed to do. This girl definitely did not use her best customer service skills to resolve the problem. This turned out to be one of my worst experiences, she was literally trying to argue with me while my friend was listening and watching, he just laughed it off and we got sick of it and drove off. We went to the other franchise location 8 minutes down in Elk Grove. Asked for the same happy meal and they included the collectable toy, had absolutely no problems. I don't think I ever want to return here again and to be served by that same rude girl. How is it that I see people receiving these toys days early of the promotion to me coming on the day of the promotion and not being able to buy a happy meal to get one???? Make that make sense!!

They're very slow here although the food is mostly good, the fries do not always taste fresh even though you have to wait for them. They make you move out of line so their timer can stop so corporate will think that they are taking care of customers faster. I get this I think this is at a lot of fast food restaurants. But still if we have to wait, we should get fresh food

It's a hit or miss if you're expecting a good service from here. Sometimes you get ignored. But they'll notice you the second you raise your voice - which you don't want to do. However, that's always been the case, especially if you're not white.

Charged us for water and the water was…. YELLOW…. Water should NOT be piss yellow. Absolutely disgusting. Not iced tea or anything, it’s water.

The table service was fast and polite. The food quality is standard. The place could use a good deep and detailed cleaning.

So my experiences at this location, aren’t exactly horrible, but of my last three or four visits, I didn’t get what I ordered for the same drink. The drink order wasn’t complicated. What I ordered was cold brew with oat milk and syrup two times in a row. Instead I was given iced coffee and had to catch it at the handoff. I get it that mistakes happen as I am a Starbucks regular, but it appears to be a frequent occurrence at this store. On another note, I’d like to point out, obviously this location didn’t get the memo to greet customers when they walk in. The norm in the past was to basically ignore customers who took the time to walk in and prioritize the drive-through, but I thought those days were over. It really wouldn’t be a problem except that they will make you stand there for five minutes and ignore you before they take care of you. At least if they greeted you and said they’ll be right with you, making you wait while continuing to be ignored for another five minutes might be a little more acceptable. But hey!! They still don’t seem to care much about anybody unless they’re in the drive-through. Also – why is the oat milk not out at the condiment station? They refuse to put oat milk out at this location, even though the standard at all Starbucks location per corporate is to have half-and-half and oat milk readily available to customers to put in their own drinks. Maybe this is something I should address with corporate?

I ordered Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, the girls who worked at this place forgot about my order, I waved to remind them and after they made it not tasty, I did not receive Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, I just received iced matcha tea, it was 06/22/2025, it was a shame, I drove here for half an hour(

The morning crew Monday through Friday is FABULOUS. They are always happy, helpful, and kind. I appreciate them for being so welcoming. I am grateful to see such amazing people every morning to start off my day. Thanks for always being RockStars, morning weekday crew!!

Light ice? I don’t know why the word light is so confusing. Like I understand that they won’t give me 3 ice cubes but nobody is going to tell me that a cup being filled 75% up with ice is light ice. And she insisted that it was light ice. Yeah, no….it isn’t, I have eyes and a brain. $6 for an overpriced drink that took 2 minutes to drink. No thank you.

I always get matcha at this location when driving to work. This morning it was poorly mixed and didn't taste very good either. I started drinking the matcha already at work, so didn’t even have anything to stir it with.(

The WORSE, the cashier insinuated me of stealing my own online uber eats order then like he cant freaking read....didnt want to give it back for 2 minutes. And then had the nerve to ask for my receipt when he was given my name. I'm writing to corporate and then the manager or supervisors excuse is we dont usually have someone place an order for uber pick up. That is UNEXCEPTABLE! Which is a lie because I've always done it with the old team and it's an option on the app. Incompetent !

Yesterday I went with my kids to get the family food upon arriving the lady handing the food was not extending her hand out the window to hand me my items or acknowledging me saying thank you. When we arrived home and opened our food my children had no happy meal toys and my husband had no bottom bun for his chicken sandwich??! What is the world coming to!? This is not service at all. We have payed for our food and should have gotten our moneys worth.

Just came through drive thru. At window asked what order was (person in other lane was still ordering). I stated them she asked again. Did the cash out and closed window. No thank you. No do you want receipt. No have a good day. This is by far the worst and I get a coke 3x daily and at least 1x a day food I lost areas surrounding Chicago land by driving rideshare. Then had to wait for person in front. If their order isn’t ready have them pull up. Placed order in store for 1 M coke. About 6 workers and a runner to tables. Not one hello, are you waiting or anything till finally made eye contact. Order was on screen for in progress. Standing by pickup counter with receipt in hand. Checks order then walks get a cup then hands to me saying absolutely nothing and walks away.

This manager messed up way too many times. They got my order wrong I’m missing an item, and also these two men standing, the manager didn’t bag the old man’s food for takeout and she even letting him bag his own food when they should be the one that’s doing it, and the other guy also got the wrong order and he’s also complaining. This is disrespectful and I don’t think this is a good customer service. Please get this checked out. Thanks.

CHECK YOUR BAGS AND RECEIPTS!!! On multiple occasions they’ve forgotten parts of my order and only when I get a chance to look, I realize I’m missing something. Learn from me and take the extra second or so in the drive-thru lane to check your bag and receipt. Other than that, they’re efficient in moving the drive-thru line. You’re not sitting too long (if they’re not slammed inside).

The lady that completed my order her voice was loud not sure if that’s how she talks it is absolutely ridiculous, and that’s not the only thing. I ordered my food at 4:33pm and as I am writing this it’s about to be half an hour for just one dish sandwich and one order of fries and I am still waiting for my food not a. Single service person checked on the front it’s only drive thru like if you don’t want to serve the dine in customers and focus on your numbers in the drive thru I would really wonder how you expect more sales to come in when you treat your dine in customers soo poorly I would never want to buy food over here

I would put zero stars if I could, I ordered a sausage McMuffin no muffin,SOMEHOW. The people here are very rude. First off there should be labeled as just a drive-through McDonald’s. There’s nowhere to sit, no areas to fill your drinks, and before I could even ask anything, they said all the bathrooms are occupied. I didn’t even ask about that. I just wanted somewhere to sit. I just walked out. This is one of the most unfriendly McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Normally I have good experience at McDonald’s. Just letting you know it’s just drive-through. This should be labeled this way.

Here for a pickup and Roxana refusing to give order I showed her the order and all the items customer ordered and she still refusing to hand order. She even showed me bag and I saw the name it's my order and still refusing to hand it over for delivery. If you get an order here skip it waste of everyone's time.

5/29 11:00am ordered from this McDonald counter. The cashier asked me twice what my first order was, spoke in another language to the kitchen while taking my order, and still ended up missing the chicken nugget meal I asked for. This lady clearly wasn’t taking her job seriously—she’s the worst cashier I’ve ever encountered.

I just wanted to say I’ve been having such a pleasant experience at this Starbucks, I just started coming here and it’s fantastic! Drinks are great, and the people are amazing. Mario and Jose always attend and welcome me in, even learning my name in a few visits. I only had trouble once, I meant to have my drink lined with caramel and it was suppose to be iced,. it wasn’t, but Mario and Jose made me a new drink with a lovely “You’re awesome!” Message. Feel like a regular already, I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks Mario and Jose you two are fantastic! 🙌🏼💕

Mobile order at 1 PM on a Saturday took 20 minutes to prepare and when the second drink came out, after asking nicely how long it would take, the drink was ill prepared. Staff did not seem to notice me standing there for 10 minutes waiting.

I just stopped by while in town to get my normal stuff. When I first walked in none of the workers spoke to anyone! The so-called manager “Mario” was very rude to me. Not only did he do everyone’s drink before mines even though they were behind me…He ALSO my drink wrong and tried to charge me an up charge for his mess up. They all lack professionalism at this location. While trying to get my refund and go to another location I was yelled at by another worker while speaking to the so-called manager about my refund. They also made fun of my accent! PLEASE avoid this location and spend your money elsewhere. Also I think he gave me a fake number when I asked for the district’s manager information. UPDATE: Someone from the regional district reached out via phone and offered me a few drink on him. LMAO I never got that free drink. I cannot believe I still buy starbucks. smh

Horrible service. More than once have waited a half hour. I was forgiving before when they claimed they where shortstaffed. But more than once for a 2 drink order, it doesn't matter if its pick up or drive thru. The staff doesn't care either, no apologies just tosses a card for the manager at you.

Ordered a grande hot latte at 09:35 and waited 20 minutes for it, inside, not drive thru, while they prioritize mobile orders and drive thru. Unacceptable this kind of service, probably the last time when I will go to a Starbucks.

This location is always busy. The staff always do their best to comply with customer requests and orders. I'm usually one of the customers that can make things complicated for having specific extra ingredients being added. Always have been served nicely and even when you can see these employees exhausted through a long shift, they do their best to satisfy your request.

Such a pitiful sandwich reminds me why I rarely go to Starbucks. SMH

This large location is bigger than any of the free standing locations I've ever been to. You order at a tablet near the entrance or from a human at the counter. On my first visit I got a deli ham sandwich that had all quality ingredients. It was good and the staff wasn't the friendliest but were efficient. The trash cans were full and many tables remain uncleaned. I returned later during another shift and the the two lattes I ordered took 20 minutes. Perhaps, like many places, they are just short staffed. There is a smaller kiosk near the ER that opens early and has COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE. There are a few food items, but most importantly, COFFEE. If you can't tell, I really needed the coffee that morning. The very sweet and helpful lady at the kiosk merits five stars on her own and single handedly lifted the entire experience up to three stars.

Panera Bread location has very good bread and other amenities sandwiches, other foods you can have for lunch the atmosphere is kind of boring haha modern style open atmosphere but a good place for a snack or something quick to eat

Bread maker Keith Nowlan works as a night time bread maker. I know for a fact that he drinks alcohol on the job. Please beware!!! He is also a lead. Sad to see someone that has authority like him fail at his work abilities to do his job correctly and stay sober. This is against the law.

I was at panera bread every day for 2 months and they always took care of me and my mother in law. They always asked about my boyfriend who we were visiting. Thank you jeff for allowing me to work and taking care of us.

Overall they get a 4.5 stars They are fast with orders, the person in charge has helped with my order more than once so you know they aren’t messing around. I would still check the bad to make sure everything you ordered is there, some of the workers are a little too fast, if you’re going to claim an error please have your receipt and don’t waste peoples time in front or behind you.

Coke was flat And had some brown stuff stuck to the side. Whopper bun was soggy. Lettuce was all brown and wilted. Most disgusting experience I've ever had at a Burger King. The health department should really visit this place.

Clean, customer focused, filled with nice employees. My son and I frequently come to DD, and this location is the best one around. We recently left a different one to come here. Expectations being DD, this one is great. Just saw them handle a drive thru lane out to the chase bank, and a line inside about 15 deep.

This is supposed to be a Matcha latte. It literally taste like milk. You guys charge enough for it. Just put a little bit more of the powder in it next time.

I bought coffee for three people, but the cashier seemed really sleepy and didn’t make our coffee properly. It was more like flavored water than actual coffee. Very disappointing! I wouldn’t recommend coming here at night—poor service and bad quality. Definitely not worth it.

I've user drive thru. Almost 5 minutes I waited in front of the speaker to someone ask me what do you need. Nobody came out. So I passed there and went to Windows. There was crowded. But I don't think it was the first crowded time for there. They need to figure out something❌ at least they could tell me just second some I would know someone know me ❌ ice coffee was good same taste✅

A really great breakfast joint in North Chicago. We came on a Saturday morning for breakfast. After checking out the reviews and thinking this place looked great. We were not incorrect. It's got a good atmosphere, wide open seating and a really good menu. The specialty coffee, drinks and mimosas are really good. The food was good and came out very fast. Our server was incredibly kind and personable. Would recommend.

Great breakfast spot close to the airport. Not spectacular, but nothing is done wrong, so reliable solid option. Chris our server was amazing. It was a nice day, we sat outside and enjoyed our meals.

Delicious breakfasts, great coffee, and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend everyone to visit this place. And what’s unusual for America is that it’s spotless here — everything is clean, from the tables to the eating utensils, which makes it an exceptionally pleasant place to be. 😉

I look for details like cleanliness. This place didn't make the grade. It has not been open very long, so I found it a bit disconcerting that there were grease smudges on many of the "chicken wire" glass partitions separating the booths. You could see the grunge starting to build on the floor and wall joints in the bathroom and there were splatters on the wall tiles. The music was turned up too loud, and that was annoying. Not everybody likes the style of music they were playing. I ordered Eggs Benedict to compare to local joints. It was not warm and the sauce was almost tasteless. It was not as good as you get at local places. I had ordered the potatoes but was given a salad instead. Potatoes were brought after I told the waitress, but they were so burnt. See the picture. The salad barely had any dressing. I do say there was a nice portion of Canadian bacon on the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly poached but were barely warm. My husband had shrimp and grits and he was delighted with his food. One other note: This is not unique to First Watch. When there's a serrated knife and it's only serrated on one side, it might as well be a butter knife. I'm a leftie and those cheap knives do not work for lefties.
