The 21 best breakfast and brunch in Wheaton

Egg Harbor is NEVER one of my top choices for breakfast. An out-of-town friend likes this place for some reason and wanted to meet here, so I reluctantly said yes. The service and food is good, but portion sizes are very small. It has been this way for years. I always leave Egg Harbor still hungry and never feel like I got my money's worth. I showed my husband a photo of the skillet I ordered and his response was, "Yes, that is small. I would need two of them!" He is an average-size guy. I wish I had been paying closer attention to the price of this small skillet when I ordered - it was a whopping $18! Sorry, but that's just outrageous! There are plenty of other restaurants that are far better choices for breakfast and a much better deal for people's hard-earned money. Next time, I will definitely be visiting one of those OTHER places and will say NO anytime my friend ever suggests going to Egg Harbor. NEVER AGAIN.

As a person with celiac disease, I’m happy to find a place that can feed me safely. When I find a hidden gem that I can eat at and it’s delicious, I’m thrilled! My non GF son was with me, and raved about how good his food was as well. They have a large menu with many breakfast options.

Brunch was excellent! I had the Farmer's Market Benedict, and my date had the Spicy Chicken Burger. Both looked and tasted excellent. I'd also highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Just spicy enough, and as someone who is all about the garnish, a great spread! Service was quick and attentive, 10/10 will return!

Had an awesome experience here. We were able to get in right away and didn't have to wait long for food. We had a very personable server as well. She was very attentive during a busy Friday morning. The food was fantastic. We always have a great experience @ Egg Harbor!

We’ve been going to egg Harbor for years. I would say we order from them about 1-2 per month. And many occasions our orders get delivered wrong or missing something. But as of late My skillet was $25 and the portion size was half the size it was an a few months ago. My wife is a very light eater, never finishes her meals and was able to finish her skillet because of the portion . Sweet potatoes are always undercooked, two eggs scrambled looked more like one egg scrambled. Just crazy with the amount of locations Egg Harbor has, you would think the quality control would be a lot better.

Clean well run restaurant with excellent food and service. I had “the traditional” —>Delicious. Make sure you order the home made jelly. My wife had avocado toast—> loved it. The waitress made sure she understood allergy restrictions and provided excellent service.

First time at the Seven Dwarfs Family Restaurant! We were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly after. Standard diner setting with Snow White and the seven dwarfs ambiance. We ordered - The potato skins, Belgian waffle, bagel with cream cheese, 2 eggs w/ turkey bacon, hash browns, and a Dr. Pepper. Food was decent - worth checking out at least once!

My husband and I love diners. This is an old fashioned diner with the interior theme of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. We love it. In this time of hyperinflation they have not gouged their clients unlike most other restaurants around here. Their quality has been consistent for the 25 years we have been going there. They have a great menu and the prices are reasonable. They listen to your requests and the owners are proud and care about their customers satisfaction. We have never had a bad waitress and the gentleman who backs up the waitresses, Alfredo, remembers each customer’s special requests and does it without the waitress even knowing. The people here work together as a team, customer first, and they are kind. We highly recommend them.

A whimsical Greek-style family restaurant with a Snow White motif. Portions are good; meals are reasonably priced. It's our go-to for breakfast for dinner!

Wow, my wife and I went to Seven Dwarfs Family Restaurant. On Tuesday Oct 28th. We had never been here before and we were so happy we finally stopped in. We are from North Aurora and in the area. Everything was extremely nice. Food selection and quality was top notch. Our server (I wish I remembered her name to giver her a big shout out). Even the gentleman clearing tables refilling our water etc.was great. I love this true Family restaurant. We were also thanked my the ownership. We can't wait until our next visit. Sorry it took us so long to try this place.

This restaurant is a family-friendly restaurant through and through. From the owners to the staff, everyone was just smiles from the moment we entered to the moment we exited. We came in for a late breakfast around 11 am. Upon entering, we were promptly seated and asked for our order. The food arrived in a timely manner. The staff were super friendly with our kids, adding smiley faces on their pancakes with whipped cream. :) The food itself was quite good. No complaints at all! Everything, from the pancakes to the sandwiches we ordered, tasted fresh and delicious. All in all, it was a great experience for us!

A legacy family restaurant which used to be omnipresent and now are hard to find. What a gem. We had breakfast. Great pancakes. Everything else was equally good. Not in our area but would definitely stop again when up this way.

Very nice restaurant in the style and decoration of the 20th century. Very good food. Very nice waitresses... only one thing, the gentleman who settles the bills for food could be nicer to the customer.

Nice spot right in downtown Wheaton with good food and excellent service. If you like breakfast foods, you'll be happy dining here. Lunch works too. I love the Avalon Sunset sandwich. Toasted just right and the exact balance of ingredients. In summer, you can enjoy the beautiful, gigantic tent and eat outside. Fabulous spot to enjoy food and conversation with a friend.

We had a satisfactory experience here at Egg'lectic Cafe quite recently. We wanted to do a brunch somewhere in the neighborhood for our Ma's birthday, so we called ahead and made a 10am reservation during the week. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and were seated immediately. The interior was clean and cozy, and the place was lively but not jam-packed. Our server was eggcellent. She was an absolute gem and a rockstar. Served us our drinks right off the bat, brought us out some delicious flavored croissants, and took our orders, which came out in practically no time. The food was fantastic! Had some chilequilles, corned beef hash, pancakes, fries & chicken tenders for our little ones, and a couple of breakfast skillets. All were hot, ready, and delicious upon arrival and tasted country farm fresh. Overall, we had a pretty good experience. The service was fast and friendly, the food was marvelous, and the dining area was neat and tidy. Will definitely be stopping by again. Thanks for the great time for my Ma's birthday. Cheers!

The food was great and the service was awesome. Me and the Mrs got the Veggie Harvest Skillet and a customized Omelette. Both were delicious. They have more options and taste better then other breakfast spots nearby. This will be our breakfast spot going forward.

This place is GREAT! I recommend getting a bloody mary (ask for spicy)! The customer service was absolutely five stars. We all enjoyed our meals and had a great time.

Wonderful ambience and service! Susan is lovely, she strikes the balance between attentiveness and unobtrusiveness. We had quite a large group due to a family reunion and we were easily accommodated. Had the Swedish pancakes, they were delightful. I joined after my family had ordered and my food still arrived in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Egg’lectic Café is a fantastic breakfast spot! While there’s no dedicated parking, there’s plenty of street parking nearby. I came in for breakfast and the place was packed, but I was greeted right away and seated quickly. I ordered the chicken omelette with avocado on the side — it was massive, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The endless coffee kept coming, and my server was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. The menu has plenty of options, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

BEST omelette I have EVER had!!!! I had the California omelette. It was phenomenal! And the service was fantastic!! Erica was the absolute sweetest. Cutest little place - we will definitely be back!

This place was so cozy and heartwarming. The farmhouse look really adds it up. The menu was so big and the food was delicious! The waitress were really nice and got all of our orders right. I reccomend adding music to the restuaunt. It felt awkward and quiet. But overall, definitely reccomend! 😁🙏

The Verdict is a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. With a family friendly atmosphere and a huge double sided menu, there is something for everyone. The owner and staff are lovely people and the food is delicious. They have omelettes, pancakes, toast, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. They were more than willing to accommodate allergies for my table. Try the Greek bread and the tuna salad!

Stopped in for lunch and was expected the typical diner food, but was absolutely impressed with the taste of the food and attentively great service. We ordered the blintzes, gyro plate, saganaki, reuben sandwich with onion rings and chicken noodle soup along with sweet and sour cabbage soup. All of it was fantastically delicious. The saganaki, which was set aflame table-side (cue the ever customary “Opa!”) had a wonderful crisp texture on the outside and that satisfying savory flavor you’d be silently hoping for when it’s first set alight. The soups were both spot on great; the chicken noodle soup in the same ballpark as something you’re grandma would serve you on an icy winter day and the sweet and sour cabbage having a satisfying taste that balances out the cabbage flavor very well. The gyro plate was remarkably well done with the tzatziki sauce complementing the overall dish perfectly. But saving my favorite for last, the Reuben was superb. The sauerkraut married with the tender corned beef and thousand island dressing punctuated the cheese like it’d been made by the same person countless times and refined to flawlessness. In the span of an hour, the verdict became clear that this has become one of my favorite diners and I hope you’re fortunate enough to have your day in culinary court.

Exactly what you would expect from a good breakfast diner. Huge portions, tasty food, fast service and the staff remembers you when you come in, so that's nice. Good breakfast grub!

Props to the chefs for some great breakfast food. Had the corned beef and hash skillet and the Mexican skillet which were both great! Some background music to drown out the bickering from the waitress would have made breakfast a lot more enjoyable. It appeared the chefs and busboy were doing a nice job. We will come back and hopefully enjoy our experience more.

The great lawyer hang out. Hadn't been there is years and it's gone down a bit. The potato pancakes are almost cake. And scrambled hard mean scrambled and soft and not browned. Still it is the icon of the dupage courthouse

This place was so so good!! We loved the atmosphere and the waitress was awesome! They have a very cute outdoor patio on the side but we chose to eat indoors since it was kind of chilly this morning. My fiancé had the breakfast sliders which she truly loved. Cheesy scrambled eggs with a delicious sausage pattie on a fresh bun with a side of breakfast potatoes, what more could you possibly ask for!? It was cooked to perfection too! I had the Churro Hawaiian French Toast and it was some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back to try this place and again!

We were looking for a good spot for a hearty lunch to get us through our busy day. The Hen House did not disappoint. We all enjoyed our meals. We love that they have regular specials and seasonal menu items.

Such a cute place with some great food! I was able to sit outside with my friends, and it was absolutely amazing! I really appreciated how the hosting staff informed us about bees outdoors (in case of any allergies) as well as how efficient we were taken care of. The kitchen staff had forgotten an ingredient on my burger, but my waitress was able to take care of the issue right away. The food was delicious and I can happily say that I will be back soon!

All I can say is WOW! Everything was perfect. The eggs were abundant, the sausages true, the pancakes super-fluffy and the service on point. Worth the trip. Ill be back.

Tried this place again after a few years and remembered why we don’t come here. We were seated immediately on a Saturday morning, but waited a long time for someone to come to our table (long enough that the table next to us ordered and received their food before anyone came to our table). We were just about to leave when our server arrived. Food arrived in good time, but was very disappointing, worst of which was being served mushy fruit that was partially moldy (see pic). Prices are well above average: Small bowl of fruit and a cinnamon roll = $15; cost of breakfast for 2 (breakfast sandwich, omelette, cinnamon roll, one small orange juice) = $55 before tip. The area has many good breakfast options. This isn’t one of them. We won’t be back.

Great place, mediocre staff/service. I have to say this small cafe is gorgeous and had great food, but unfortunately the staff were very inattentive. First we were sat, the building is fairly crowded in seating, but manageable. I was asked immediately if I was ready to order and when I said I’ll need a couple minutes my waiter walked off to talk with other staff while other customers clearly needed them, this may have been understandable if they weren’t seemingly intentionally facing away to not be called to. It was impossible to get a server’s attention without waiting at least five minutes or walking over to them. I was left alone for a while after I was ready to order and unable to call the waiter over, please know it was fairly empty, there were maybe 5 other parties, 2 waiters and a busboy should have been fine to serve us all. Once we ordered the food, it was served pretty quickly, the food was amazing, only slightly overpriced, and surprisingly the server checked on us quickly once. Unfortunately once checked on we were left alone for a duration of time, at a point I sat without water, along with several customers throughout the restaurant, for a couple minutes. It took a while after our plates were cleared to receive the check, I immediately put my card down but the server had walked off. Again we waited 3-ish minutes for the server to return to grab our check, even though a group behind us had their cards ready since before our check was given. When the waiter came to give the check, the group behind us attempted to give their check to the server, which of course with unnoticed. I really want to say that 2 waiters is plenty to staff the restaurant during that time, but they were chatting and laughing at the bar instead of tending to customers, I would have given 5 starts if this was better service. Please hire better staff!

Average diner with typical breakfast items that would be sold in a diner. The pancakes are sweet and have a vanilla taste to them, which I would prefer if they didn't. And they put powdered sugar on all orders. The Mexican food I would pass on. That's not what this place does. It's a breakfast place. If you stick with breakfast you'll have a good meal. The waitress was overbooked and did not come back to the table. Often. A little expensive for what you get but expected.

Average food, even though sweet potatoe chorizo is good. While we were being seated, table was not really ready. Menu were just hastily placed. Berenice was very attentive.

Was really excited to have breakfast here but I must say the food was disappointing. I ordered an omelet and the onion in it was not cooked at all and was really fresh and crunchy. My omelet being cold only brought up more of what was not tasting good. I enjoyed the coffee and the loaded fries but that was the extent of it. Service was also slow and she forgot multiple things we asked for so we had to ask again. They were quick to sit us even though they were busy and the restaurant looked pretty clean. Some of the staff was hanging out by the hostess bar, not sure why they needed four hostesses while servers were running left and right to manage. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this location.

A 20-minute wait on a Saturday at 11. By 11:45 their were plenty of tables available. I had an omelet that was just ok. The cubed potatoes were fried, not fresh. The meat skillet was ok. We upgraded to the lemon blueberry pancakes. They were pretty good. There are lots of other items on the menu to try.

The first thing worth mentioning is the partitions between the tables, which we absolutely loved. It provides a sense of comfort and privacy. Our order arrived very promptly. The omelette itself was delicious, and the pancakes were delightful. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed the place. 4 stars because the hash browns weren't to our liking.

Warm and welcoming staff even with a fairly busy time, we were seated right away and orders taken quickly too!! Food was delicious and fresh! Our server was very attentive and not just the one time after food was served, but numerous times to refill coffee and water, checking on us and not intrusive or annoying but helpful and friendly! We could eat delicious food, and have a great conversation because noise levels were also wonderfully muted!! I highly recommend eating here, kids and adults of all ages!

I order from the app and go through the drive through constantly. The salads are reliably fresh and the greens are crisp. They don't start making your order until you scan the QR code in the drive through lane so it can take a while to wait for your order to be made. If you eat inside, be aware this place can be packed! Plus it is kid friendly and has a play area so parents like to bring groups of kids here.

Chick-fil-A be running like a well-oiled kindness machine. Food’s good, service too sweet to even be real, and they’ll have you in and out before you can finish saying “my pleasure.” Only reason it’s not five stars? Sometimes those fries act brand new — either too cold or disappearing fast. But overall? Still that dependable comfort meal you can’t stay mad at.

SENIOR CITIZENS, BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!! Me and my 96 year old grandmother came through the drive thru line today at 3:51 pm. Jayla, the girl who was standing outside with an iPad taking orders was the RUDEST, most offensive, passive-aggressive, laziest worker ever!!! This chick fil a is usually top notch when it comes to customer service, usually over and beyond with it, (as are a lot of chik fil a’s) so I was extremely disappointed and very, very VERY surprised. When I gave her my name for the order, she added in an ageist, derogatory suffix after my name. It was so weird, bizarre, passive aggressive, not to mention incredibly offensive. I didn’t notice that until we got home. She lacks cultural sensitivity and respect!!! Jayla kept rolling her eyes, sighing, and exchanging side eyes and giggling at the other girl standing out there with her, and acting like I was bothering her and interrupting her social time. I ordered both my meals the exact same way I have done at this exact chick fil a probably hundreds of times before and never been laughed at or treated like a sideshow spectacle so I’m not sure what was different this time, but apparently Jayla and her coworker both found it absolutely hilarious. I asked for a list of wraps since they weren’t on the big menu that I could see to just make sure, like I always do, and Jayla rolled her eyes, shrugged and just said “Ummmmm… spicy?” With a wicked grin on her smug face. I had to ask again several more times because every time she only just answered with one word and kept giggling at me with these awful eye rolls and sighs. She would not stop making the meanest faces and literally laughing in my face, NOT in a playful manner. She was laughing AT us, and kept looking past me at my grandmother and scoffing, making wide eyes and laughing to herself!! Me and my grandmother both agreed how awful and strangely out of character for chick fil a it was on the way home. It was definitely not her pleasure to do ANYTHING but sadistically demean, mock, harass, and disrespect us! Jayla belongs somewhere more like the BP gas station across the street, but even there she will probably not go far with this awful personality towards strangers, zero empathy, lazy work ethic, and a love for other people’s suffering. It wasn’t just poor service, it was much, much, much worse. She went out of her way to humiliate us using by typing in an additional offensive and ageist suffix that I didn’t say. I would give negative stars if I could. I personally will no longer be visiting this location ever again and will strongly advise everyone I know to do the same!

Came for breakfast. Ordered chicken biscuit as a meal. My chicken was covering only half of biscuit. It looked like I got half meal. Wish I made a photo. I would accept if the meat was covering at least 2/3. Probably, it was not my lucky day. Besides that the food was cooked fresh and tasted great. The restaurant looks brand new and big outside but claustrophobic inside, no idea who was making interior design. Wish there was more open space. The restaurant was not busy but there were many not cleaned tables. The floor was not very clean too.

Nothing like waiting 20 minutes after using mobile app. Husband and I were going to get a burger then decided to go here after the gym. After using the mobile app we waited for 20 minutes for our food. We showed the confirmation to the staff. Either the order never made it them, who knows. They through my salad together and gave me items I requested not to. No apology for the long wait. What I do know is that next time we are getting a burger.

Stopped in to pick up food for sleeping kiddos. Kid's meals with Nuggets, Fruit, fries ranch and ketchup. Nuggets were on the small side, but the kiddos cleaned their plates. Salad with Chicken was good. Service and preparations were very quick.

I love Panera! This Panera was just okay. Although my order was correct, I would choose a different Panera next time. There were 3 cars in front of me at 1PM and it took 15 minutes from ordering until receiving my food through the drive through, which felt long. The young lady wasn't particularly kind or helpful; she was just there to take the money and give me my food. Additionally, at THIS Panera, if you want a different type of bread, its a 1.19 upcharge, as opposed to no upcharge at other Paneras.

I was surprised at how busy it was at breakfast! Easy ordering at the kiosks and fast delivery. The food was good, and the place was clean.

Ordered two toasted bagels and 1bowl of chicken noodle. I would say thank goodness the bagels filled me up mostly since I had mainly broth and only a few noodles. Might be awhile for me to eat more soup at this location

Turkey cheddar cheese sandwich and Greek Salad were fine. There was no fork for the salad. The baguettes were smaller than what we had in other Panera’s outlets. There was a customer holding the window pick up line. Attendant should have asked the customer to move to the parking lot.

Can't beat the price, I got lunch: soup and a sandwich for $7.55 ! I mean the grocery stores have more expensive sandwiches than this. The food was great, food came fast and the place is nice and clean. This will probably become my fav lunch spot.

In-store service and experience was pleasant. But thata whwre it ended. We ordered pick-up. When we got home we found below ordinary sandwiches and salad. We ordered a family meal deal which offered 4 half sandwiches, baguette, soup and greek salad. The sandwiches were sub-par, sloppily assembled and wrapped, one of our sandwich bread was torn and soggy. The basic toasted cheese was cold and unappetizing, even our kid refused it. Our salad was for better of a word wilted, as if it sat in dressing for half a day. Our Chicken noodle soup was very salty. Very disappointed.

The bagels, the muffins, are extra and delicious. The staffs are helpful and friendly. And make it to the top is their free flow of coffee. Try Hazelnut coffee with cinnamon powder on it. And you can stay for hours, talking, or even enjoy the ambience. Highly recommended.

Went in for coffee and a quick snack, the coffee is wonderful and the service is great and I LOVE the mission and social justice work of this coffee shop. It pains me to write this because I wanted this to be amazing , but the food unfortunately was not great and I wanted to love it! The empanadas were dry and crusty crunchy pastry and the filling didn’t fill the space of the pastry. Ordered the ham and cheese and egg and cheese and they were dry. We also ordered the brown sugar scone and it was dry and tasted frozen. Go there for the coffee and the amazing ethos, eat somewhere else. There were great little trinkets and so much information on the walls about the work that this business does for the community.

My Half of the Sky – Wheaton, IL What a hidden gem! I stopped by My Half of the Sky in Wheaton and absolutely loved the cozy vibe and mission-driven atmosphere. I ordered a latte and it was perfectly made—smooth, rich, and just the right balance of espresso and almond milk. You can tell they care about quality and community here. It's more than just a coffee shop—it's a place that feels warm, welcoming, and purposeful. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Walk past STARBUCKS and find your way to this local gem. They have a nice fashion boutique in the front and study rooms in the back, as well as outdoor seating. They serve great tea, espresso drinks, and delicious baked goods, but more importantly, go there to support their mission statement of "eradicating poverty while providing hope to survivors of human trafficking, homelessness, addictions or extreme poverty, locally and globally." Check out their website for more info on all the causes they support. All this just from a perfect latte and a gourmet grilled cheese. Enjoy it today, and know you're helping someone.

I’ve been coming back to this spot biweekly for the past year since I discovered this place. Their flavored lattes (both hot and iced) are to die for - especially the churro, salted caramel, and lavender vanilla. For a snack, I enjoy the mini salted brown butter doughnuts. Their cucumber watermelon mint and mango peach refreshers are also delicious and a caffeine free option. I also love the fact they support such good causes to benefit needy communities. The ambiance is so cozy and has 2 floors that are great to use - the first for socializing and the second for studying. I’ve had many encounters of awesome customer service here as well. My only complaint is I ask for light ice, and they charge extra for light ice. Despite this, I still get at least half a cup of ice… Besides this critique, My Half of the Sky is hands down my favorite coffee shop ever. It’s honestly a hidden gem 💎🩷.

Very quaint coffee spot! Nice and cozy inside and plenty of outdoor seating. I'm not a coffee snob , but to me it seems they have very good variety, as well as decaf, non dairy , and low sugar options. They also serve small bites here- mini donuts, quiche, other pastries, snack boxes, etc. I had the tastiest decaf salted caramel latte with coconut milk - highly recommend. Apparently you have to pay for wifi here, though, and they offer packages. Can't confirm for 100% There's some small conference/study rooms that you pay for and reserve ahead of time. They also sell things like candles, jewelry, tapestry items. Overall, I really liked this place and would return.

Ok, Let me start out as this McDonald's cooks everything perfectly and for the most part, they do everything right.... except for mcflurries. I always ask for hot fudge in my M&M Mcflurries and three times, I didn't get hot fudge. Normally it honestly isn't a big deal but I paid 30 cents everytime so I'm pretty much paying and extra 30 cents for nothing. Other than this, I never have any other problems and I still recommend this location. Just be careful when adding stuff sweet treats

Terrible service , it's a fast food and it takes for ever to take care of you, also they start charging for extras , example I order extra buffalo sauce they charge me 31 cents for each. Won't stop there again

C'mon McDonald's, for real?!? Fill up your fries!!!! I don't have the option of paying for half, so please don't give me half.... This is NOT full, and not acceptable for the amount I paid. And, it seems to be a pattern at this location....

Today, I accidentally selected over the counter instead of drive thru on mobile app. I pull up, give my order number, and realized I made the mistake of selecting over the counter pick up and not drive thru. I apologized and asked the employee if they could change and hand me via drive thru. She rudely said if it says over the counter then that what you have to do. I pulled off and left my order. I was unable to leave my vehicle which is why I did not got inside. I tried to cancel, but it was too late. I never picked up my order, so I don't have a receipt, just the order detail from the app. It was a mistake that I selected the wrong option and it was no need for her to have been so rude. If that’s your policy, then that’s your policy. But the attitude and rudeness was uncalled for, especially when I didn’t have one with her. I would like a refund for my order and have reached out to corporate. Thank you

This was by far the worst McDonald’s experience of my life. I placed my order through the app, and not only did they mess it up once, but they managed to mess it up twice. On top of that, when I finally got my food, I found a hair in it. Completely unacceptable and beyond disgusting. The staff showed zero care or attention, and the level of service was unprofessional from start to finish. I will never return to this location, and I strongly suggest McDonald’s corporate step in and fix these serious issues.

I had placed a mobile order pick up, the app told me it was ready. I got to the McDonald’s told me they didn’t have it. I had already paid for it and all, so I asked if I could place it really quick, they told me to come in after showing them the confirmation and all that. Went inside to be greeted by a line of people but no employee. Waited for about 15-20 mins for an employee, just to be going back and fourth and then walking away without saying anything. I just wanted to grab something quick, but quick turned into 30 mins and cold food that was hard after I had received it. Don’t go to this location it’s not worth it

This used to be our go to McDonalds because of the quality of service,food,and cleanliness. We will not be going back. We placed our dine in order and after a five minute wait went to ask what was the delay in our order. Stood at the counter several minutes waiting even for service. The employee looked at my ticket then looked around and said she didn’t know. I had to say I had paid for my food but didn’t get it. She then called the manager over and he questioned me about where my food was. They then looked again and the order had been bagged on the back counter. By now it had been 10 minutes after placing our order. The manager then put the blame on me for not answering when my order was called even though we had the table closest to the register and had the counter in sight the whole time. I opened the bag before taking it to the table and the fries were warm at best. I took the fries out and asked the worker for hot ones. I even gave her a fry to touch to show her it was not hot. She again called the manager over. He took the fries and threw them back into the fry bin and told the employee to give us two new fries using the ones he just threw back in ,there weren’t any others in there. I returned to our table hoping to eat the meals without fries only to find that my wraps ordered with no ranch, and it noted on the rcpt and slip taped on the wrap,came with ranch sauce. My husband took them back and they needed to be remade. He also brought the fries back and requested new ones. He got them but never an apology for any of the errors. As another disgruntled customer, whose order was also cold said, you pay a lot of money for this and this shouldn’t be happening. She was right. As a McDonalds stockholder, I was very disappointed to see the customer service. I hope this is not the new training model for stores but one set of employees poorly trained for the job.

Yesterday I ordered a latte with foam and warm and another latte without foam and very hot, they gave them to me backwards, I complained and they gave me my late with whipped cream and toppings and I hadn't asked for it like that and I complained again and the person who made them was still angry and told me that I asked for foam and whipped cream and that is impossible because I can't consume any dairy and I asked for it through the app but since I ordered several drinks she refuted that it was my mistake, so I had to show the cashier my order on the app so they would believe me and even then they told me that it didn't appear like that in their system! I love many Starbucks coffees and if I go to any location it's because I live close but a lot of the people who work there are very rude.

The food is fine but the drive thru is awful slow, I waited 25 min to grab a cup of coffee that's ridiculous. Also once you enter their parking in lot you can't leave because the parking in lot is too small so you are trapped on the drive thru lane.

This was my protein box today. So gross. Literally have mold. Did anyone not look at the apples prior to bagging?? Need to improve on quality control guys!! Also the pineapple refresher is so gross. The taste is so “fake.”

This is my first time ordering an iced matcha from Starbucks and I was apprehensive, but I ordered it normal and it came out delicious! I asked for light ice and they did put light ice and it came filled up so I was very happy.

Hey it is a Starbucks. This one is pretty busy and seem pretty on top of it. My mobile order got taken but there was no trouble getting a replacement and they did it really quickly in spite of being positively slammed. Thanks!

Driving around the parking area and/or through the drive through can be challenging. There is just a set amount of space and many many cars that want to get through here. The inside seating areas are nice and they can fit a surprising amount of people inside.

The staff is very friendly and makes great coffee.

Ordered a BLT. Needed more bacon. Some bites of the sandwich did not have bacon. Bacon was good though. On the plus side had an avocado spread. Bread was good. Fresh ingredients. Made to order. Good service from employees.

Ordered for my coworkers and myself. Asked for mine medium. Got it cooked to crisp looking like smaller than a slider patty. Also burned the bacon. I used to love this place, but lately their burgers are not what they used to be.

I reviewed the listings then gave this place a try. I had a blucheese burger cooked Medium. It was delicious ! Cooked just right . The fries were really good without ketchup or anything. It must be something in the oil. They weren’t too oily and salted just right. The location is different and they share the soda machine with the store next door so not going to be what you think. Just a few tables inside but I went about an hr or so before they closed and I was about the only person except for the take out customers. Good prices. $10 for my burger, fries and my large drink. Place was clean and clerks were friendly and helpful . They also have salads and chicken for the no beef individuals. A place to certainly check out!

Blue cheese burger all day! Sweet potato fries are on point as well. Service is slow but worth the wait. I waited 15 to 20 min on three burgers and fries. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

This restaurant is located inside a gas station. I ordered a blue cheese burger medium. They cooked the burger to a bone dry well. I ordered an extra patty for $2.50 per menu but was charged $3. However, bacon was cooked well and vegetables were fresh. The over cooked burger patties and overcharged has me not coming back. Check out the pictures below for proof.

Not bad. Ordered Urban Counter Club (grilled chic, avocado, provolone, bacon) Mushroom burger (onion, mushroom, Swiss, stone ground mustard) Pros, a notch above typical fastfood burgers Cons, can be 15-20 minutes so not if in a super rush and sides not included, onion rings touch over cooked. Another was condensation dripping from ceiling. They need to get a dry clean mop, and get the overhead duct dry so it doesn't drip on customers 1x an hour. Pros. Staff was nice, diligent and seemed attentive to food and details.

Barista was really nice! But the drink really wasn’t good at all. Showed them exactly what I wanted since I’ve ordered this drink all the time and this is the first time they mess it up. It was WAY too strong had to throw away once I got home because no matter how much cream/milk I added it just got worse and worse. They need to do better.

They consistently make the drinks wrong. And when I watch them, and ask them about it they lie right to my face. I have to stop giving them the benefit of the doubt; it happens way too often.

Skinny Hispanic girl at Starbucks with glasses was kinda shady and rude made me feel uncomfortable so I’ll just keep going to the coffee shop by my house and she also put only put 1 strawberry in my drink

To be honest I adore Target’s vibe so I don’t mind coming in here to get my Siren coffee fix. The baristas are very friendly and fast workers. It honestly takes less time than going through a drive through Starbucks.

My *new* SPOT!! This place is INCREDIBLE!! They really took time to offer so much & so much creativity went into designing & creating the loveliest of shops!! can’t wait to come back already! There are millions of cream cheese flavors - in fact MANY seasonal flavors, specialty sandwiches, four different kinds of coffee options on drip.. lots of different kinds of bagels, tissues from scones, unique cream, cheese, flavors, and delicious breakfast sandwiches all at an affordable price. And the hospitality is incredible, and this team really spent a lot of time pointing the heart and soul into this place you can tell !

To start off, my friend and I were greeted with a very lousy greeting. The woman looked like she did not want to be there. Ordering was fine except my friend got a lunch special and with it comes pickles and chips. My friend didn’t get chips in her bag so I went to ask if she could have some chips and the girl says “she can pick some from over there” and pointed at the chips by the entrance. No one told us to get them from there, nor are we mind readers. How are we supposed to know that?!? I keep looking over and the employees look like they just hate being here and it made the environment depressing. The second one lady came in everyone’s smiles were crazy and customer service was amazing and talking with the guests. This must’ve been the manager or something, but still very unprofessional to treat any guests like how we got treated. Food was 3/5 the bagels themselves were so fluffy and warm, but the sandwiches all together were nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone if I’m being honest.

This place just has the best bagels. They have another location (the original location) on County Farm rd in Winfield, hence the name.. my favorite thing they have us a cheddar jalapeño bagel with cream cheese. It is spicy but not very. They have fine coffee there. Refills are 50 cents. There is plenty of seating inside but often I'm just picking up bagels to bring home or I walk my order over to Adams park.

Had a real nice bagel sandwich which was packed full of flavor and a real nice conversation with a regular who walks to this quaint bagel shop everyday. Sat there for about an hour as I waited for a hair cut and watch the staff smile as they interacted with the customers and had a genuine sense that they were happy to be there. My fellow patrons also seemed to really enjoy their breakfast as well.

Staff was incredibly sweet, but the shop smelled like a clean restroom. The door for the bathroom was incredibly odd. You had to pull the key out from outside to unlock then bring the key inside the bathroom leaving the door unlocked while in the bathroom. I ordered the Rueben and it was drenched. The deli wrap fused in with the cheese so peeling that off was a mission. The meat had a soapy undertone. There’re not known for their Rueben’s so slightly on me. I’d probably try once more and try a different sandwich.

4-star instead of 5 because of price. :| Bagel sandwiches are great for breakfast, but the price increases over the last few years are more pronounced at CFB than at similar types of locations. They charge extra for the nicer bagels and if you add cheese, so a breakfast sandwich (with cheese) comes out to around $8 before tip. The quality truly is great, though!

The food is good if you're able to get what you want. I've been here twice. We ordered a "pumpkin muffin" which ended up being loaded nut nuts. Not advertised having nuts and we're not asked if we had a nut allergy before serving it to us. This place is playing with fire by doing that. First time they only had three types of bagels left. But to be fair I did arrive at like 1:00PM. I ordered a sandwich. The bagel part was good but the rest of the sandwich tasted average. Second time I was there at 11AM. They charged my card and then told me they were out of pizza bagels?? Not sure how that's possible. I would assume they were made fresh (after all it's sauce, cheese and bagel). Theat rubbed me the wrong way and they had to do a refund. Very unprofessional to not know your inventory on things. I ended up leaving The interior is very small. Not recommended for large groups.

This McDonalds is one of the worst. We picked up some pies there today and they were really stale and gross. Then I noticed they peeled off all the “enjoy by” this date stickers so these were expired. If they are willing to peel off the stickers to sell expired pies I wonder what other gross stuff they are willing to do.

Sadly this is the nearest McDonald’s to my house, this place is an absolute train wreck every day. Food is so below McDonald’s standard, maybe the worst McDonald’s in the country and I’ve tried countless! I’m done with them, I’ll drive further - this place will GET YOU SICK!

This location was closed on Saturday. 5/21/22 at 10:48pm. That means it is not 24 hrs on Saturdays. I understand that staffing is hard now so please change hours for a consistent time when you know you will have staff. Every time I drive by here, which is Thurs-Sun, it is closed with only a few exceptions. That is unacceptable, update hours to reflect a consistent time.

I hate to give such few stars, but I'm hoping this review can bring attention to the fact that this location is extremely understaffed. More than once, I have used the app to order, and staffing gave me issues. I ordered to pick up in lobby yesterday and parked to go inside, but the door was locked. It is frustrating that the app will let you order without knowing about its restaurant. I had to circle back around and get in the long drive-through line. At the window the pick up at counter code doesn't work, so there was more frustration when I had to explain more than once that the doors were locked so my order was probably sitting on the front counter. About a month ago, I ordered on the app for pickup on the drive-through, and the entire restaurant was closed. It was in the morning on Friday near my work so I had to wait until Monday. They honored my order without static. I did take screenshots, though.

This is the slowest Mc Donalds of all I have visited in several countries including Canada and USA, I have more than 25 min waiting for a happy box and a sundae with my son and no hope that they will deliver in a short time. Very slow and bad service. I will never visit this place again.

I waited in the drive through line for about 10 minutes for breakfast. By the time I got to the speaker to order no one was there. I waited a couple of minutes and kept speaking. Of course by the time someone answered they had literally just switched to the lunch only menu. Okay, so I ordered lunch instead- with fries. The lady at the window was very nice, and I know it wasn’t her fault, but I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for them to make the fries since they switched from hash browns to fries. When I finally got to drive home after 20 + minutes of waiting, my husband and I discovered that the fries were completely saltless - not a drop of salt to be found. I understand times are hard, but if I’m spending 20$ on fast food, I’d like it to taste the way it’s supposed to. Not a big fan of the experience all around.

Every time I go there they tell me to hurry up, or they say something really rude about taking too long to look at the menu. I mean very argumentative and downright mean! There is one woman & one man that does this every time. Super rude! They start rushing you within 30 seconds of reviewing the menu. I drove off without my order today bc of how rude they were. I will not be going to this loc again!

This is the worst Dunkin I have been to. They force you to use the kiosk, which would be fine if all menu items were programmed in. When you need to order something not on the kiosk, they ignore you and act like you couldn't possibly be standing at the register wanting to order. I had to raise my voice to get their attention. Then I waited for the rest of my order. And waited. My drink came first but after seeing at least 6 tickets not even pulled off their machine I realized they hadn't started to fill any of the donut orders. So after waiting another 5 minutes someone finally got around to going through the tickets and donuts were finally being sent out. One staff member wasn't even calling drink names out so people were standing around waiting. I recognize they are busy but part of the service issues is by their own doing. This was my last visit. There are other Dunkins around that i'll be patronizing in the future.

I ordered Uber eats from this location. My coffee and bacon and egg sandwich were great. But I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. I received a bagel with bacon egg and cheese plus cream cheese. There is also a hair in it. :(

This is a warning not to give your money to this business. I went to the Danada Wheaton, Illinos Dunkin on Wednesday, May 21,2025. I placed my order and was waiting in the Drive thru when an employee push a donut cart out the back door and it went flying off the cement patio and flew into my car and put a big dent in my vehicle. I talked to the manager and she said she couldn't do anything and she would let the owner know and he might call me back. I also called corporate twice. They said all they could do is to email them to call me. It's Friday no call at all from anything to give me their insurance information to cover the damage their employee caused to my vehicle. City of Wheaton don't you keep your companies that you allow in your city from doing this to people.

Overpriced for the quality. So terrible I vowed to never return to any dunkin donuts. It'll always be worth the extra time to go somewhere else.

Every time we come to this location we never get the full amount of coffee that we should. There is always AT LEAST an inch or more of space at the top, and when we ask for more (since we’re paying for it) we get the snarky comment of “what do you want me to fill it to the brim?” We didn’t pay $6 to not have it filled to the top.

I'm sorry to say, but I ordered one of the worst iced coffees I've ever had from this location. Terribly burnt, the staff needs retrained on how to make coffee properly. Also there was barely any ice. I don't even want to leave this review, but the coffee was so unbelievably bad, it HAS to be addressed.

Rob was so attentive and so fast! He actually took the time to talk over the different flavors and benefits of each of the different smoothies!! You guys definitely have a good employee that is very hard to come by! I definitely recommend this location over any other location hands down!! I will be back!!

My fricking açaí bowl is frozen like rock solid from the freezer and when I confronted them they told me to wait for it to melt 😭😭 would never get an açaí bowl here ever again.

What a great place from the staff to the GM really great guy!! He answered all my questions very knowledgeable on every item on the menu. I came in for my lunch break and the food was very good and the smoothie was made just to my liking and Rob Alexander was very courteous and fast with the service!! I recommend this location to all who want a great experience along with the best products!!

I can only say positive things about the staff and the manager! The atmosphere is very welcoming. I absolutely love Island green smoothie, I’m vegan and very particular and it was thoroughly explained and is now my new favorite place! I will be back, Thank you again!

Everything was beyond my expectations, from the food to the smoothie to the staff from the GM all the way down the ladder. In my opinion way better than Smoothie King. The restaurant was clean and simply refreshing. Highly recommend and thank you for a great experience will be back my new go to place!!

Extract Juicery is one of the best organic smoothie places i have ever stepped foot in. The fruits and vegetables were fresh andl kept in temperature control. The employee were kind, friendly and well informed with all the products they carry. The place was super can. The interior layout and design was unique.

I ordered a customized smoothie (so I could get pulp in my juice because I’m old school like that) and it was delicious! Lovely antique/chic decor, ample seating for all abilities, VERY clean single-stall bathroom with no changing table but plenty of room to change a person able to stand up. Very unique, quiet, single flush manual toilet, (see picture with 💧/💧💧). It will not scare our friends afraid of loud toilets. The best part of all is that I did NOT feel rushed! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. 5/5 stars for autism-friendly environment, for my kid anyway. I’ll bring her next time and I’ll edit this review based on her feedback. 🙂 Give them a try! 🍌 🍊 🍎 🥭 🥑 🍓

First time visit... I ordered the night prior and my order wasn't ready or even realized when I arrived in the morning. The girl hurried to get it done thankfully as I was en route to a meeting. The java smoothie I got was very ho-hum, lacked flavor. I did buy a health immunity shot as well and that tasted as expected. I will give the place another try as I had high hopes, but will pick a different menu item.

Such a cute place. A bit pricey for the amount of the smoothie but don't delicious. Definitely very modern. I bought a Choco Nut smoothie and was amazing with the texture of the nuts and the absolute great taste of chocolate. Service was very nice and informative as it was my first time there.

Absolutely awesome juice! Service was amazing, quick, clean and fresh! Highly recommend, will be specifically coming back to this area for this location. Happy I found a great place like this making real fresh juice.

Neat place but very expensive for such little drinks and foods. Been here a few times when I’m in the area and it always surprises me that even with 2-3 employees behind the counter and the only one with an order (no one else in the store) it still takes almost 10 minutes for the order to be done (smoothie and açaí bowl or toast). As much as I’d love to stay healthy this place isn’t really affordable. I also find it uncomfortable being rung up and the employee waiting to see if I’ll tip them on the iPad screen. I have absolutely no problem tipping when I’m being serviced (sitting down and being served my order/food) but find it odd for this establishment to include and expect its patrons to tip for being rung up by an employee.

very good smoothies! I got the island sunrise and would definitely recommend it - super healthy but still is creamy and tastes good. it is a bit overpriced and I probably would not make going here a regular thing because of that... 9.50 for a smoothie is a bit much.

Recently. built location. I think I know why they aren’t very busy though. Lukewarm service at best - you rarely get a smile or even a “welcome “. And my bagel with cream cheese had the tiniest smear. A small tub of cream cheese costs $5 at the grocery store. Made me both sad and mad simultaneously. And yes I know about inflation but I also paid $9 for this bagel and medium iced coffee. The third picture shows the bagel 🥯 I got a Panera for $3.56

Went to dunkin after a long day got three drinks and a donut. The worker proceeded to get both my drinks wrong. And when I made it known she got mad at me and charged me for a more expensive drink. I had asked to change the drink due to the myself being allergic to green tea. I was charged for a strawberry refresher with green tea instead of lemonade even though I had made it known that I wanted it with lemonade. Due to the fact once again I am allergic to green tea. I had asked her to switch the drink, to which she responded with no you ordered green tea and she proceeded to yell at me and the other people in my car. I then asked if she could change the drink due to the fact she got it wrong to which she responded with no you ordered green tea. Which I know I didn’t she didn’t mess up not one drink BUT TWO! I asked if she could please switch it to which she said I had to pay for a new one. I payed for a new one gave her my card and she gave it back. To which she in fact charged my card and did not give me the new drink, I was instead told to get out of the drive thru I am honestly so disappointed in the service and hope it doesn’t happen again

I have been coming to this location and the old one for years. The service has never been great. My recent visits have been worse however. They cannot get big orders correct so don’t bother coming here with your family.

I went back to this Dunkin after a previous bad service trying to give it a second chance! Once again they failed!! Horrible customer service! Worst Dunkin I’ve ever been to! Employee didn’t acknowledge us!! Clearly he was busy on his phone!! I rate this place a ZERO!!!
