We throughly enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was so tasty! My girlfriend’s food was more on the cold side. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was piping hot and yummy until something appeared in my mouth I couldn’t chew. :/

I love the De Dutch Chain. They have some of the best thin pancakes out there. This location however is not as great as the other locations. First, it is hard to get someone’s attention to get seated when you arrive as no one is at the front. After waiting at the front for quite a while I actually just walked into the restaurant and found a server myself to let them know I was there in order to be seated. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious like all other locations. As seen in the photos, my bratwurst was on the more burned side of things and mostly black while the pancake I got was so thin in certain spots it was like paper while other spots were thick with borderline cooked batter in the middle so it was not evenly cooked or spread. The interior of the restaurant is super nice and bright. The service, once you got it, was good but they don’t ask you about de Dutch membership points when you pay so I didn’t get to collect them, you must remember this and tell the server this yourself which I forgot to do. Other locations ask if you have it when you pay.

Came here for brunch, was craving a good crepe and boy did they deliver! Crepes were light, filled plenty, great ingredients and delicious! I ordered a cheeky baileys coffee which was somewhat a disappointment, it was very watery, had no whipped cream on top, and lacked coffee taste. It seemed very watered down. But then I ordered an espresso martinis and that was perfect! I should’ve started with it! Staff are friendly, attentive, they repeated our order back to us to make sure our modified order was correct and brought our food promptly. Overall it was a good experience. I particularly liked the solarium dining area as you could enjoy the warmth of the sun without feeling the chill of the wind. They also have an outdoor patio for warmer months.

Their mimosas and sourdough toast are the best I've ever had. Ham is amazing. Service can't be beat, Karim was fantastic! Very modern and stylish decor

The place was nice and clean and the staff were all very friendly. It’s a bit more expensive than I remembered and I don’t think that the food necessarily reflected the final bill. Regardless, their breakfast was still hearty and the potatoes were pretty tasty. I also liked their da bacon and the ham. I was a bit disappointed that the hot chocolate was just a generic hot chocolate mix with water, but the coffee was pretty good! It was a decent place to eat but I think there are other restaurants that are more bang for your buck.

First time to try this place. Great service. Pancakes were really soft and fluffy. Place wasn't too crowded on a Sunday morning unlike other brunch places.

Super awesome neighbourhood gem. The wait was long because of father's day brunch (expected). However, the food is good - your basic mom and pop brunch. The service though, the waiter we had was so proactive. He was offering things before we even had to ask for it (I.e. Napkins, water for the kids, etc). Would definitely visit again for family time.

We’ve been coming to Amigo for years and have always loved it as a cheap bite. Even with rising food prices, I still find it reasonable. The servers and owners are very friendly. The updates they’ve done in recent years are very nice as well. Last time I was in, the food was exceptionally good! I always get the classic breakfast special, so I can’t vouch for any of the other items. Better than Denny’s or IHOP in my opinion!

Great little local breakfast place in downtown PoCo. I like supporting local businesses especially when you see them trying so hard to give good service. Food is delicious and if you are looking to take a break from cooking, this is a place to go. Many familiar dishes for breakfast and brunch. The prices are very reasonable so tip well. The portions are sufficient. Good value and easy on the wallet. Fast service. Great for walk in because parking is a limited at the front.

My family and I have been here about 3 times. The food is great for the price point. Its not gourmet but its decent and well presented and tastes good. Service has always been friendly and prompt. But I have to issue a warning regarding a possible cleanliness issue. Not sure if it was just a bad day but when we went last time the kitchen looked in terrible conditions. Lots of garbage on the floor and food with back door open. I know its busy and it gets hot. But eaters beware. This could have just been a one-off. Would have to go back again another time to confirm.

This place is great for the price that you pay. Never did i imagine that you can find a less than $10 breakfast and with this amount of food. Swiss Sandwich with fries was great. The pancakes and eggs and sausage was good however next time we probably won’t get the sausage as the bacon on someone else’s table look better. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The hamburger steak and eggs - hmmm. I will skip next time and not great for 14.95. The pancakes and eggs and sausage was better got less than $9. I did change a hamburger for two sausages with my wife so the pictures won’t look right. But you can see the amount of food there is for such little price. It’s definitely a 4 star and I think next time I will find something that I will like to bring it back to 5 star. Not today though but close. For some reason they are not doing soup with the sandwiches so just beware. I certainly be back as there’s plenty to choose from.

Cozy neighbourhood brunch place! Came here years ago, I had a pretty good overall experience. This time revisiting, it’s as good:) Have lots of options on the menu with pretty good prices. If you’re looking for an easy layback weekend brunch with friends and family, this is the place😉😋

Solid neighbourhood IHOP. It gets super busy on weekends after 1130am, so try to arrive before then. Try the mushroom and spinach omelet with the hollandaise on the side. It's my favourite! When ordering seasonal pancakes, consider requesting the fruit compote or sauce on the side. They're yummy, but super sugary. Love the classic bottomless coffee. It helps, especially as the restaurant gets super busy. The staff is kind, welcoming and very hardworking. Highly recommended when you're craving pancakes or a classic Western brunch.

A nice place to come for breakfast. The food was good, and the waiter “Darya” was very attentive—many thanks to her. The only downside was that despite having 8-10 customers waiting at the door, there were plenty of empty tables inside. This gives the impression that the restaurant doesn’t fully value its customers. Other than that, the food and the staff's attentiveness were great. Thank you!

Excellent brunch spot. First time visiting, will definitely come back. Went on Saturday just before noon. It was very busy, but we were seated within 15min. Service was a little slow, but totally understandable. The food was great so no complaints. The strawberry milkshake was fabulous.

Food is good. Service is really bad. The server had issue with us changing the order even before we finished ordering. Forgot to bring water after asked us and forget to bring honey and milk after we asked her. The server at our table was the team lead but the rest of the team seemed to be good except the service for our table was really problematic.

IHOP is a great brunch spot, though expect a wait to be seated as it’s always busy. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the food is worth it. The pancakes are amazing, and my favorite is the tres leches. Overall, a solid place for brunch!

Great service and pleasant A&W culture at this location. The onion rings were made fresh, crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. The papa burger was as expected, though the meat patty was slightly drier but still good. A&W is a great part of Canadian food culture.

As good as it gets for an A&W franchise. Dropped by late after work for a dinner and the chicken burger and fries were fresh and crispy. The service was above and beyond despite near closing time on a weeknight. Good to see a tightly run business like this. Will be back!

It was one of the best A&W branches I came to. Very clean and breathless. 🌸 The cashier, Mr. Nikan, was very friendly and warm, and I have never seen such a good cashier in any other A&W branch. 🥰 The manager of this branch is very lucky to have these good employees. 🤩👌🏻

Fun place to eat. Cleaner than others I've seen lately. Organized and efficient staff. But my only gripe is the price! 17 bucks for a chicken burger combo...no coupons, no buy..

My family came here for breakfast on a whim this weekend and was really surprised to see a pretty good size crowd in the dining area! But even then, our food arrived hot, fresh and delicious. I remember my mom would make extra effort to find an A&W location for breakfast whenever we went for road trips back when I was a kid, and it’s always been a fond memory. Years later, and now with my own son, I’m glad they kept up the quality of food and friendly service! Thanks for giving us a great morning!

Hello, The customer service is very good and amazing, they are treating so good to the customer and all the workers over here are working hard. No one will see any associate that they are just hanging around all of them are working so good and i have seen two associates who’s names are “Navdeep” and “Raman” they are so good in customer service. They are preparing food in minutes. They are so good in customer service. I wish you they will get promotion as soon as possible. They deserve it. Thank you!!

My only complaint is that this A & W at Fremont Village in Port Coquitlam has no handicapped door access. There is a major long term care home nearby from which many of us take our loved ones for a small outing. Struggling to get a wheelchair through a door with no automatic opener is pretty poor in this day and age?

It’s an average McDonald’s. The 20 piece McNuggets were standard but lukewarm. Have had it hotter and fresher from other locations. The Big Arch Burger was nice, fresh, and warm. The fries were cold and soggy. The drinks were standard. A bit of hit or miss for each item.

Absolutely atrocious burger staff, horrible, wait times absolutely noisy kids, awful place to go. I ordered extra pickle extra onion and this is what I got instead. I'm going to be staying far away from this dive in the future.Clearly, these teenagers can't make a burger or even properly read a board. Wish I could give them zero stars. One star is far too generous. Attached is the horrible burger that I got tonight. No sense complaining to the staff, as it'll just fall on deaf ears.

I understand the need to get food out fast, but come on. I’ve worked at a McDonald’s for 4 years and i would be embarrassed to stack a sandwich like this. Happens all the time at this one. Literally looked over after writing this and my wife pulled a hair from her McMuffin. Yikes. No hair nets, I suppose.

I have never encountered such rudeness through the drive through this evening at 7:05 pm. Starting with placing our order through the drive through, inquiring if they still served hot fudge sundae still (2x I asked) both tints she was adding it on the order. I finally just let it go. We we were told to go to the first window to pay, no one was there. Got to second window and the attitude was so rude as she handed out two drinks, first the root beer, the second I heard Diet Coke, I reconfirmed what she said, … Diet Coke. I said I ordered Coke Zero and she snapped and said… it’s the same thing. I said it isn’t. Then she said as she continually tapped on the top of the lid of my drink… I pressed Diet Coke because there is no Coke Zero… and handed me my drink again. Once again, I let it go. Then she handed over the hot fudge sundae and I was surprised to see it in a paper cup (like the French fries container) I asked why it was not in a plastic cup or with a lid atleast and she rudely replied as if she was annoyed and like I was dumb … “no it doesn’t come with a lid”. She turned away and grabbed the bag of food and handed it over. She didn’t even confirm what was in there I had to check. By the time I looked up she had shut the window and was saying something to her co-worker as she turned around to look at us with the look of annoyance and rolled her eyes. Again… we just let it go: we got home (2 mins away) just to add to the disappointment … the fries were soggy and not fresh and not hot, the burgers were not even warm we had to reheat in microwave as we were starving after a long day and the pop was flat. I will be heading to another McDonald’s next time even if it means a few minutes further.

I honestly can’t believe how terrible this McDonald’s is. I’ve had bad fast food before, but this place takes it to a whole new level of hellish. It’s like no one working here cares at all—especially the manager, who clearly must not give a single damn about how this place is run. I tried to place a simple order, and they were already rolling their eyes, slamming things around, and huffing like I was bothering them by daring to exist. One of them actually cursed at me when I asked politely if my order was ready after waiting nearly 30 minutes. I’m not exaggerating—they dropped the F-word, right in front of my toddler. To make it worse, the way they were looking at me and talking under their breath made me feel like they were about to physically fight me. It was aggressive, uncomfortable, and honestly scary. It made my baby start crying—yes, an innocent child was so scared by the angry, yelling employees that they burst into tears. That alone should be enough to get this place shut down. My kid was traumatized and is now scared to even walk into restaurants. And the food? Don’t even get me started. What we received was not food—it was raw, sloppy trash. The burger patties were pink in the middle, cold, and chewy. The nuggets looked like they had been microwaved for five seconds—soggy, pale, and suspiciously undercooked. It was unsafe, unappetizing, and straight-up dangerous to serve to anyone, especially a child. The staff didn’t care one bit when I brought it up. They just shrugged, refused to remake it properly, and said “that’s how it comes” with a nasty attitude. At that point I had enough. I left with a hungry, crying child, a ruined day, and a burning question: how is this place still open? Let me be crystal clear: 🚫 The manager clearly does not care about their job or their customers 🚫 The employees are hostile, vulgar, and aggressive 🚫 They serve RAW, inedible food 🚫 They terrified a small child with their behavior 🚫 The entire place is a disgusting, unsafe, stressful nightmare I don’t usually write reviews, but this was so awful I had to warn others. This location is not just bad—it’s dangerous, emotionally scarring, and completely unacceptable. Shut it down, retrain the staff, and get someone in charge who actually cares, because right now this McDonald’s is an embarrassment to the entire brand.

I don’t even know where to start with how unbelievably bad this place is. If you’re thinking of eating here, please do yourself a favor and walk away now. This McDonald’s is, without exaggeration, one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve eaten in plenty of questionable spots. Tables were covered in greasy smears and random bits of food, and nobody seemed remotely interested in cleaning them. Even the self-serve kiosks were disgusting, with fingerprints and old ketchup crusted on the screens. Moving on to the service, which was so bad it felt like a prank. The employees looked like they would rather be anywhere else on earth, which I can almost understand, but they took it to a whole new level of indifference. I waited over twenty-five minutes for a basic order: a Big Mac meal and some nuggets. When I finally got my food, it was wrong—twice. They forgot my fries, then gave me cold, shriveled fries when I asked again. No apology, no eye contact, nothing. The food itself was absolute garbage, even by fast-food standards. The burger was slapped together so carelessly that half the toppings were stuck to the inside of the box. The bun was stale. The meat was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The nuggets were soggy, the fries were limp, and everything was oversalted to the point of being almost inedible. I honestly felt queasy after a few bites. As if that weren’t enough, the bathrooms were an unspeakable horror. The smell hit me before I even opened the door. There was trash all over the floor, the sink was clogged, and there was no soap or paper towels. It was like they hadn’t cleaned it in days. To top it off, the prices were ridiculous for the quality (or lack thereof). I’ve had better meals at gas stations. I don’t expect a Michelin-starred experience at McDonald’s, but I do expect something halfway decent and at least edible. This location can’t even manage that. The whole place felt like it was held together by apathy and old grease.

Unfair Parking Fine – McDonald’s Doesn’t Care Avoid this location if you don’t want to risk an unfair fine from Royal Parking. The officer used sneaky tactics—folding the ticket into the windshield and citing me for “walking off,” even though I had proof I stayed under 10 minutes for a quick take-out. What’s worse is that McDonald’s is doing nothing about it. They simply kick the issue to Royal Parking instead of standing up for their own customers. If this is how they allow revenue to be generated on their premises, it’s honestly sickening.

Shocking Disappointment - Tim Hortons Has Truly Lost Its Way WOW. I know times are tough, but for a major brand like Tim Hortons to stoop to this level is honestly disgraceful. I’ve been buying the cheese twists regularly as a small treat, normally around 6 to 7 inches long. But at this Port Coquitlam location, I was shocked to find they’ve been cut into thirds and sold individually for nearly triple the price. 2.79 x 3 = 8.37 per cheese twists they plan to make. Be better at business, not rip off consumers. This wasn’t a one-off mistake. These were clearly sliced before baking, as you can see in the photo. It's blatant cost-cutting at the consumer's expense, and it feels like they're hoping no one will notice. For customers trying to stretch their budget, this kind of move is insulting. You’re not just skimping, you’re exploiting loyal customers. Pair this with the recent hepatitis A reports making headlines, and I honestly feel like I’m done with Tim Hortons. It’s heartbreaking to see what this once-iconic Canadian brand has become. I wish the original Tim Hortons family still owned the company, because this? This isn’t it. Crooks, do better by Canadians.

I ordered everything bagel and they put some small pieces of beef inside. I just ask bagel. So gross its really food safe issue. Don’t do this bullshit guys. Please 🙏🏼. Hopefully management do something.

Akash is always friendly, professional, and hardworking. No matter how busy it gets, he treats customers with kindness and makes sure everyone feels welcome. I really admire how he balances the drive-thru and front counter while still keeping a smile on his face. His service makes Tim Hortons a great place to visit. What happening with the order I ordered the bagel with no lettuce but I want to add the chipotle mayo but they add lettuce but no chipotle mayo what happening with this it’s not happening once a time they don’t read the instructions what the customer want to eat they make the product according to there own choice what is wrong with them I’m very disappointed with the service my friends also face this problem please read the instructions carefully what the customer wants to eat. This specific Tim Hortons is likely the worst I’ve ever been to. I visit it often so this review is curated over many many months. I couldn’t tell you how many times I have asked for an ice coffee and received an iced cap. I shut my vehicle off and speak very clearly. I’ve sat numerous times for 3-5 minutes in the drive through with not a single other car in it waiting to order. The food is prepared like it is thrown together, zero care, with the food order being wrong often as well. The people hired here, the management or both, don’t seem to put any care into their work at all which to me is unacceptable. I’ve worked jobs like this when I was younger and I’ve always applied myself 100 percent to any position. No one is above trying the excel or succeed no matter their role. This establishment is a down right embarrassment.

The drive-thru here is always super quick and my orders are always correct, which I really appreciate. Inside, the staff are friendly and hardworking, and overall service is good. The only small issues are that when it gets a bit busy, the tables don’t get cleaned as quickly, and sometimes we have to remind them for coffee sleeves. Otherwise, it’s a solid Tim Hortons and I like coming here.

I am genuinely traumatized by this Tim Hortons. I don’t even want to describe what I saw here the other day. I stopped in for a coffee and used the bathroom — and I have never seen anything so revolting in my life. There was faeces smeared and splattered everywhere — on the toilet, walls, and floor, in both stalls. It was absolutely horrific. I ran out gagging, completely disgusted, and threw away my coffee because after witnessing that, I could not trust the cleanliness of this place. If that’s the state of their washrooms, what does their kitchen look like? Cleanliness is non-negotiable in any establishment serving food and beverages. This location is beyond unacceptable. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I will never return, and honestly, it should be shut down until it can meet basic hygiene standards. Absolutely disgusting.

Great service from these hardworking women. I had two customizations: no bacon on my breakfast bagel, and a medium French vanilla latte in a large cup topped with coffee (it’s way too sweet otherwise) and everything came just as I ordered. They were quick and efficient

What use to be a nice end coffee shop is just another fast food garbage dump. Staff can’t even keep the workstations clean. So dirty items everywhere. Things on the ground. Dairy left open.

Middle-aged female employee at the driveway this morning had terrible customer service. We ordered venti drinks and she gave us grande sized so we corrected her and she gave us multiple sighs saying that she repeated the order and we didn’t say anything. We also wanted a pup cup and usually employees are nice about forgetting at the order section and just getting it at the end but this employee gave another huge sigh and thought it was necessary to tell us we need to order at the front. This is her job and this shows that she hates her job but that shouldn’t be on us and gave us a terrible day.

Staff are friendly and great but drive thru times are kind of crazy. Had to wait 30 minutes with 5 cars in front of me. Not usually a one off either as this happens regularly. However food and service aside from that is good

I went to Starbucks with a friend to have some coffee. Although other people were already sitting at the long table, I sat down on an empty chair at the corner. After taking a couple of sips of coffee, a woman wearing a Starbucks T-shirt started dragging chairs loudly across the concrete floor, moving them around. Then, speaking in a commanding tone, she told us that the area was closing and that we needed to leave. Although I did step outside, the way she treated the customers left a bad impression, and I felt really upset. I don’t think I’ll ever go back there again.

I did a mobile pick up at this location, upon picking up my drinks I had asked one of the employees if I could have a straw, instead of handing the straw to me she tossed it on the counter and didn't say a single word. Absolutely terrible customer service and someone like this should not work at a place that encounters so many existing and new customers.

Dang... Guess the secrets out! Had to wait about 20-30 mins for a table ...but wow... It's legit. I didn't know what to expect for the duck omelette..but it's pretty much a plain omelette with a full duck breast laid on top... So good, I'm used to eating duck at a Chinese restaurant and this was up there....ain't no duck l'orange (yech).... It's really good here. Good portions and good vibe, you can really tell that you need to eat and get out cuz of the lines, ain't really a place to come and chill and catch up with friends if you know what I mean..small and quaint, food absolutely on point. Previously had hamburgers take out, they were ok as takeout can be. Had brunch this morning, everything was very good. Personally prefer more substantial waffle but for fluffy it is perfect. Salmon Eggs Benedict creamy delicious. Mediterranean omelette for me lacked some flavor, onion? Spinach?

We love PK Cafe’!!! The service is excellent, super friendly staff. Their breakfast menu is almost like desserts, especially waffles and French toasts are unbelievable delicious, moist and crispy at the same time! I love my chicken lemongrass, so tender and flavourful. We can’t wait to try all of their dishes. To add to how wonderful this place is…the price is so affordable!

So my boyfriend and I went there for dinner last week. I had meatloaf, he had a bacon cheddar burger and we shared some wedges. It was all DELICIOUS! I was going to hold off on posting, until we tried a few other dishes, however, after our dinner at PK's tonight, I have changed my mind. Neither he, nor I, was able to choose a different meal, we both wanted the exact, same meal we had last week. Yes, we may become those people who must have the same thing every time we go there. The lovely and talented staff have made both back and front of the house run seamlessly. I only know that my goal is to try more items from the menu...one day...AND meatloaf, maybe. 🤷🏻‍♀️

PKs cafe is a hidden gem in Port Coquitlam, and I am so glad that my partner and I came across the cafe last year. They serve quality food with quality service. I love to get the club sandwich which comes in an ample serving of two layers of sandwiches stacked with fries on the side to die for. Although simple, their food gives diner food a chefs kiss.

An incredibly clean, well-stocked, and comfortable bakery. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. I ordered the Yuzu Lavender Bubbly at half sweetness and it was perfect. We also picked up a ton of treats!

Beware: their “Pesto chicken sandwich” gave me food poisoning! They probably don’t keep their “pre-made” sandwiches at the required temperature of 40 F or below. Never had a problem w/ 85 until now, when I tried this sandwich + a hot dog pastry. Big mistake.

There's an Asian kid. I think his name is RJ. He's very rude. Other than that, everything is fine.

Don't eat here. It's no good. I ordered a jalapeño cheese bun, and when I got home and took a bite this is what I saw. Called the store and spoke to the manager, RJ. He said he would give me full refund, but only refunded me 3 dollars for the bun. He gave me a nasty look when I told him I lost my appetite and wanted my whole meal refunded. He said "bring everything back for me to inspect and I will give you refund". Not worth my gas money to drive back 3 different times for a measly 10 dollar refund. He should've given me the refund no questions after seeing that I just consumed garbage from his store. Clearly his first managerial role and hopefully his last. Do not eat here unless you don't mind being charged money to get food poisoning.

Tried today for the first time. The bakery looks clean and busy and large assortment of sweet and savory delicacies. However I just tried drinks here and ordered Cafe Latte ,Jasmine Green Tea Cafe Machiatto and Hazelnut Cafe Latte First they messed up my order was given 2 cafe lattes instead of Tea and taste wise no difference between caramel and hazelnut, and oh there was no visible caramel as well in the drink.

I often come here and buy some cake for my family, my friend, and everyone I know for the special events. The most delicious one is Red velvet. Everyone keeps asking me where did I get it after they tasted it. This place is the best outstanding one for the cake or bakery lover. Everything here are wonderful. The staffs are nice and friendly. You will not definitely disappointed. ❤️

Nice "asian style" bakery, usual choices, weenie in a bun, lots of sweet treats but not as sweet or heavy as a typical American bakery. Clean and airy feeling.
