CafeGo has apparently been around for over 3 decades. It’s eclectic, quirky & cozy today with the wood fire burning.. love the overall ambiance, the digital ordering adds convenience & is perfect for bill splitters! But our only interaction with staff was when they brought our food - it was polite but hardly engaging. They know how to make a great coffee with body & caramel tones to the Proud Mary blend. But for me, our breakfast lacked basic seasoning therefore food was good where it could have been great. We had the classic corn & zucchini fritter which were light, fluffy & tasty adding a side of avocado & bacon. And I had a Persian eggs adding mushrooms & bacon as well. The eggs poached well but spinach could have been squeezed out a bit more as my toast was soggy & both the spinach & my mushrooms needed seasoning.

During our visit to Geelong, we came across Cafe-Go by pure chance. So glad with our random pick! The QR code ordering was a breeze, the service was quick, and the food was tasty. The shakshuka was excellent, and the carrot cake was pretty good too. The cafe's atmosphere was also really nice, with interesting decor that clearly shows the owners put a lot of care into it. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I visited this cafe based on the great reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We sat in the outdoor courtyard area at the back, which is absolutely amazing, a beautiful lush garden setting that feels really relaxing and full of character. The coffee was delicious and absolutely on point, and the corn and zucchini fritters with poached eggs and salmon were incredible. They were so good that I would definitely recommend you try them. The poached eggs were slightly overcooked, not quite as runny as I like, but still tasty. A solid 5 stars from me. Highly recommend.

went here for breakfast and was amazed by the atmosphere of the outside seating. it was like walking into a dream. the service was extremely fast and very well put together. i had a hot chocolate and the acai bowl and both were delicious and very well priced!! will definitely come here again.

Stopped in and had a latte and French toast croissant. Loved both. Sat in the outside area which was so cute and lovely especially with the heaters keeping it nice and warm.

Hobestly the best breackfast I have had in a long time. The Zucchini and corn fritters with smoked salmon was amazing! Alao loved the artwork around the room.

I had the King’s Breakfast from their all-day breakfast menu for lunch and swapped poached eggs for fried sunny side up—great choice! 🍳🥑 The eggs were cooked to perfection with deliciously runny yolks. Crispy bacon 🥓, juicy grilled tomatoes 🍅, creamy avocado slices 🥑, sautéed mushrooms 🍄, and flavourful baked beans rounded out this satisfying dish. The golden-brown potato hash was beautifully crispy outside and soft inside—absolutely delightful! 🥔✨ The toast was fresh and crunchy, tying everything together. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service made this a standout lunch. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My bestie took me out for a birthday lunch to KOTC, and I can say, it didn’t disappoint! The team were warm and kind when welcoming us in. We arrived around 11am on a Tuesday and I was surprised at how busy it was! It was chock-a-block! They had some great vegan options as well as a solid brekky & lunch menu. Food was tasty and didn’t take long to come out at all! Flavours were good and portion was solid. Thanks to the team for your warm hospitality - I’ll definitely be back. If you’re thinking about visiting for the first time, I highly recommend a pop in! 🙌✨

King Of The Castle Cafe is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It’s a little off the main Pako strip, so it’s not the most central spot, but it’s definitely worth the extra minute drive up the road. I’ll definitely be coming back for another meal.

Decent coffee with a good range of food offering. The quality of the food was ok, but the service could have been a bit better as we were arranged to sit at the rear outdoor area without the heater for a while. We had to ask the staff member a couple of times before she could help us.

Food was amazing and overall i had a great experience. There was a really lovely young girl with dark hair seating us who was so friendly and kind. The service was good and everyone was so friendly. Lovely visit. The coffee was excellent, rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the visit even more special. I tried the Thai egg dish, and it was absolutely wonderful with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The mushroom on toast was also a pleasant surprise, offering a creative and distinct twist that stood out from the usual café fare. Overall, a fantastic café with great vibes. 63 Degrees Cafe offers a nice dining experience with a great outdoor seating area and beautiful cutlery. The coffee was okay, and the big breakfast was hearty, though a bit oily. The matcha yogurt granola, which was refreshing but could have used a bit more granola and matcha for texture and flavor. Overall, a lovely spot with a good atmosphere.

Great brunch spot with delicious & creative food. Chili eggs with hash were very tasty. Kids big brekky was perfect. Will definitely come back!

Had a great experience with the kids here. Colouring book provided proactively, the kids milkshake was made special with some sprinkles around the cup and plastic water cup provided. These little touches made for a nice kid friendly experience. Chill music, plenty of seating and friendly staff!

We ordered biscoff brownie, m&m cookie, caramel latte and of course babyccino! We love the food and lovely service! my nephew asked me to try this cafe with him and we absolutely loved it 😻

We chose this space specifically for their brisket sandwich which isn’t even available anymore even though it’s on their online menu on their current website. So we had to then pick from not much else that we wanted. It’s a freezing day and they didn’t have much room inside so had to sit outside in their outdoor area with one tiny heater, and waited 45 mins for food. Asked specifically if the hollandaise was home made (as the jar one is disgusting) she said yes and then when it arrived it was the jar one. I also called a side of green and chorizo… “Greens” side is just kale should just be called Kale (which I don’t eat). Chorizo is cheap taking and not crispy cooked like it should be. Husband had chicken burger which was ok, not to his taste but fine.. thigh chicken which isn’t great… chips were nice. Aioli is watery and tasteless. Then I went to the bathroom …. It’s like a public toilet filthy… embarrassing and disgusting. Wouldn’t go back if someone paid me to!

The place is superb! Lovely outdoor indoor seating. The food looked beautiful and was super delicious. Was a little unhappy with the first waitress who came to talk to us. She was slightly rude about seating arrangement request as we were a big group. But eventually got our desired seating spot and it was all okay. We ordered Veggie Brekkie x 3 and that stole the show. Vegan burger was lovely. Potato skin salad was added as a main dish in the menu but was not filling. Parking is a bit of a problem. You need to park away and walk to the location unless you are lucky. Overall fun day.

Lovely place for brunch. The food was delicious and exactly what you order. It was a little tight in the outdoor seating but it had a good feel and all could enjoy a good chat.

I'm leaving this review from when I visited with my partner and my mother in law back in May, but this is because the experience at Pickers Union was unforgettable. The morning was chilly and we arrived to a warm, inviting Pickers Union. We were greeted with open arms by the establishments owner, a man whose style and grace lit up the room. He directed us to a table, near a window greeted by the morning sun. We had coffee and made hay while the sun shined. Breakfast foods of all sorts graced our table, both savoury and sweet, crunchy and creamy, traditional and experimental. Flavours clashing and mixing in a perfect cacophony of mouth feel and taste. After our meal concluded, we were surprised with a special dessert that the owner presented to us for our feedback. It was magnificent. Truly an unbelievable and enjoyable experience. 10/10.

Been here several times. Consistently good coffee and great food at reasonable prices (by current economic standards). While the Paddock Bakery nearby is great for atmosphere and baked goods and does an equally good coffee, I much prefer The Pickers Union menu when it comes to food. My only pickle (pun intended) is that the speaker volume outside could be turned down a few bars to aid conversation.

Coffee it’s great, but that’s the second time I’ve had breakfast there and both were overpriced for what was delivered. Eggs Benedict One wafer thin piece of sourdough and undercooked eggs with the inside still clear. Flavour was average and the pre cooked cold bacon didn’t do it any favours at $25

I visited The Pickers Union for lunch and ordered the creamy chicken penne along with an iced latte. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was outstanding truly exceeded expectations. A big thank you to the friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. I highly recommend bringing your family here it’s affordable, welcoming, and offers excellent service.

After a few recommendations from my group of friends, I finally visited The Pickers Union during my recent trip to Geelong, and it turned out to be the best experience before returning to Melbourne. Great coffee, nice lattle art (I got a swan), delicious food with the Bun’s ranges are must-try. What I love even more about the place was the atmosphere and outdoor views, super relaxing and cosy. The price was also reasonable, as the quality was worth the price. Waiting time for food is as long as 10 mins, which is really acceptable. Another plus is the vintage market locating right next to the cafe, where you might be able to find a good treasure with a bargain. That’s 2 birds killed with 1 rock. Will definitely come back for more!

This place has always been a favourite but today, the place is letting itself down. After sitting at a table clearly needing clearing, the server cleared the table behind me instead. When ordering food, I had to ask for the table to be cleared. Instead of "sure, give me two minutes" the reply I got was "I'm in the middle of something right now". Gen Z attitude personified, and not polite. The table got cleared, but not wiped – it's covered in honey from a toddler that was sat here previously. I had to ask for the table to be wiped. The server came back and sprayed the table with cleaning fluid in my direction, which landed on me and all over my phone. The table is still covered in honey. When my granola came out, all of the fruit was rock solid from the freezer. So I've had to send that back too. Really disappointing service today. Not sure I'll be back again.

Food was top tier and the presentation was just stunning! We had the granola and the eggs and bacon on sourdough toast. Although delicious to look at and savour, we just couldn’t fit it all. Would highly recommend and will be coming back 👌👌

Just when we thought we’d seen the best brekkie that pako has to offer, hidden just off the main stretch is Box Office and boy is it good! We are big brunch goers so we have high standards and each of those were smashed out of the park. The funky interiors added to the unique and inviting atmosphere. The service was efficient and friendly and the food.. wow! We had the Mushroom Medley, the Avo Toast & the Soup of the Day, all shone in their own way making it a place we are excited to venture back to soon!

The avocado smash with beetroot crunchy was good but the yellow spread did taste weird also the waffle was bit too chewy and hard. The Iced chocolate was too good.

Cute cafe with vegan dessert options! Food was good, the po boy was excellent! Coffee was delicious too. Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating of dietary restrictions. Lots of vegan dessert options in the case! We went on a hot day, and it gets a little warm inside (though still much cooler than dining outside).

Stumbled across the Box Office Cafe on a trip out to Geelong. Clearly a favourite of the locals, it was a Saturday morning and it was PACKED. We were a little nervous at the potential wait time as we had places to be, but it was well worth the stop. I ordered the Firecracker Chicken Po Boy which was SO good. Impossible to actually get the thing into my mouth as it had so much chicken in it but they nailed it with their in-house firecracker sauce and ranch. My partner ordered the Maple Bacon Cheeseburger which was juicy and delicious. We ended up cutting them both in half as each other's food looked that good (also what's the point of being married if you can't go halvies). The Po Boy came with house made crisps and the Burger with hand cut chips which were both great! Of the two meals the Po Boy was definitely the winner. Coffee and hot chocolate were good as well. Staff were lovely and service was reasonably quick even with how busy they were.

Dined here, and it was amazing!!! You will be greeted with a rustic, laid-back, and chilled environment where you could dress up for the occasion or rock a pair of thongs and still be at home. Service was top notch, and the food was cooked to perfection and delicious! The trio of beef was my favourite. We were a group of 8, and we ordered a variety of different dishes to share amongst the table, to experience as much of the menu as possible. If you are after your typical "pub meal" then this probably isn't the place for you, but if you appreciate gourmet food and craft beer, that is locally sourced and produced, then you definitely will love it here.

Lovely cafe with amazing food and vibes! House made Waffles were the best that I had with them. It was crispy, wasn’t very sweet and topped with fresh fruits, berries & icecream. Staff is extremely friendly and took care of our special request. The place is big to accommodate many people/groups. We went for brunch and it was quite full.

Wow the big brekky was so yummy!!!! It would have to be one of, if not the best cafes in Geelong region and I’ve been to plenty. The cafe is very clean and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for good quality, clean and friendly cafe. I will visit again next time I’m in Geelong for a holiday for sure.

We came here for dinner before a show at the Town Hall and were surprised at how delicious everything was! We ordered the wontons, tacos, and fries and all were delicious. We had to order a second serve of wontons because they were so good. The cocktails were also fabulous, as was the service. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

5 stars – A brekkie spot that hits the spot! Sodi Cafe totally won us over with its cosy vibes and seriously tasty breakfast! Everything we ordered was spot on – fluffy scrambled eggs with crispy bacon on golden sourdough, a stacked brekkie burger with a perfect fried egg, and the most flavourful spiced eggs with avo and fresh herbs. You can really tell they put love into their food. The coffee was just right (strong but smooth), the staff were super friendly, and the whole place had such a welcoming feel. It’s the kind of café you stumble into and instantly want to come back to. If you’re hunting for a new brunch favourite, Sodi Cafe is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back for round two!

Me and my family love the dishes here. You should definitely try “Banh Mi - Roast Port” and will fall in love with the dish. Other foods and drinks are also very good. They have matcha drinks that are better than other milk tea shops. Come and try if you got a chance while hanging around nearby.

First and foremost, the coffee was brilliant. The food to follow, was even better! We are already excited to return and try what other treats Sodi Cafe has to offer.

I recently came here after Sodi started doing a dinner service and I was blown away! I have always loved this cafe. The food and service is amazing but the dinner menu kicked it up a notch! The dishes were amazing, and so flavoursome. We had the fried chicken tacos, the beef ragu stir egg noodles and the massaman gnocchi. Finished with the matcha creme brulee. Everything was spectacular! I will be coming here again to try everything on this menu.

Very nice, we got the signature burger, the one with maple bacon, everything is good, the sauce the meat taste good together, maybe next time I will ask if they can wrap it and cut it in two for me, the size is kinda hard to eat. Dog friendly on the outside seatings.

Very average food. Veggies tasted old in the pork belly sambo and portions are not the large for price. Only worth visiting for the view.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Made us wait for 1 hour before telling us that there was mix up and chef forgot our order. All of this conveniently around the kitchen closing time. If you are so sorry then get on it and get the order ready even if it means staying open for extra 20 minutes. Fact is, they wanted to serve their regulars or locals and wanted us gone. Note: the dude who took our order could use a good bath. Absolutely lazy and pathetic.

Perfect location right next to the beach, I love the vibe so much. The drinks we got were really good. The soba noodles were very healthy, however, could do a bit more flavour. I had to keep adding salt as I go. The sandwich was very good, like 7/10, could do some pickles & sauce to level up the flavour a bit. The beef was very tasty tho! Service could be improved a bit, missed item in the order, had to repeatedly ask for water, etc. nothing major so not a big deal, just writing down for some feedback :) Overall we enjoyed our quick lunch brunch there, amazing location and vibe! Would come back!

Always a guaranteed good meal and one of our main go to for breakfast when we're in Torquay. On the foreshore, street parking available or at the back streets and woolworths. Good breakfast selection and good coffee. This time I had the sour dough crumpets with pineapple compote.

Popped in for brunch when I did a spontaneous day trip down to Torquay as the weather was amazing. Lovely location and easy to get a table. Attentive service. The coffee was fairly weak and a real mixed bag on the food front. Decent serve size, poached eggs 1 was spot one 1 over done. The bacon needed another 30 seconds or so.. The Kransky though was tasty and those mushrooms were spot on.

I had come down for a ride from Geelong and needed a drink and a bite to eat. I had decided to stop here at Pond. I had my Mochacino and a muffin to give me a bit of energy for the ride back. The mocha was quite weak for my liking. The muffin was ok it was just a choc chip variant. I'll maybe try something different then next time

The location is close to the water with good views as you can be seated outside. Food and service okay, however coffee and meals were served cold.

It was a busy Sunday morning & it seemed possibly like they were understaffed. We weren't in a hurry but that's just how it felt. One example, we were asked if we had ordered by the one person taking the orders - that just seemed a little odd. But, everyone was friendly so no real complaints there! I had the Hangover Wrap & my husband had poached eggs, hash brown & bacon on toast. Food was good, just lovely to get out & not have to cook every now & then.

Really enjoed our food here. The Middle eastern hummus was sensational. My Wife eats nothgin but the ancient gran porridge everytime she goes here and my son loved his french toast. The service was OK - but needs a little more friendliness and the place was nice - but quite tight if you are on a four seat table.

I echo @lizRyan’s comments - we dined on a busy Sunday morning. We were rushed to order & the waitress rushed us by continuing to say ‘anything else?’ It seemed they were understaffed? Our food arrived well before our coffee’s. The middle eastern was flavourful & fresh with the lemon adding nice zest, my chilli eggs were vibrant & seemed awash in sauce which initially gave me apprehension but it was a mild pimento - both had perfectly poached eggs. It was a shame that I received the wrong dish as I don’t like a lot of heat/chilli & I had expressly asked to remove fresh chilli & keep the chilli jam (on the red chilli scramble) but due to previously mentioned ‘rush’ - the order wasn’t repeated back to us & it was missed.

This place never disappoints. Great brunch options! Generous portions for the price..and very very delicious tasty food. Special shout out to the chutney it was 🔥💯...oh and the hollandaise sauce was amazing 😋!! Service was fantastic, very personable and warm.

The staff didn't seem to care about us when we came, we had to wait for someone to notice us. Then we had to wait for at least 25 minutes for the coffee to arrive. However, the food covered it all. Very tasty, creative, flavourful dishes. Solid coffee. I'd say the prices are a bit high.

Not a bad spot for breakfast. I had the chilli scrambled eggs, which were fantastic. The truffle oil in the chilli sauce was amazing and everything on the dish was cooked well. My partners breakfast was not as good, everything was cold including the poached eggs. However it was a busy Sunday morning so that’s to be expected. Food was pretty expensive once the weekend surcharge was added on. Coffee was good. Might give this place another chance when it’s a bit more quiet.

The coffee was well made & was from Code Black☕️ & the teas 🫖 are from Calmer Sutra… The food arrived, both were a good size portion & presented cleanly. Two nice generously sliced & coloured pieces of toast from a Bakery. Soft scrambled eggs & plenty of sautéed mushroom with herb garnish & 2 golden crunchy hash brown triangles. Plain but done well. My Benedict looked enormous, colourful & I was eager to jump in. Moist pulled pork with the combo of corn, black beans,potatoes and onion was intriguingly different but enjoyable (it needed a little salt), the eggs were perfectly poached & the chipotle mayo & corn-chip crumb added interest. Yum 😋 All up, the service was professional and the food was enjoyable.

If you've ever lived in Geelong you know Winter's cafe. It's pretty hard to compete with this place. It's clean, well decorated, cozy and the upstairs room has a cute view of the rooftops. My only slightly negative comment was that the crispy chicken burger was too sweet, for me anyway. I usually love sweet and savoury together but this was close to being a confectionery. Avo smash was great, really fresh and who doesn't love a classic? Servers were run off their feet today. I really do have to commend them on their ability to be so polite and friendly when they're under so much pressure. It's honestly a lot harder to achieve than people realise.

I ordered the blueberry brie bruschetta, the dish was very tasty and everything went well together although I was hoping there was more brie on the dish. My partner ordered the cheesecake waffes which she loved. Coffee was very good and service was probably the best we have had in geelong. Wait time for foodwas about 10 minutes while not busy We will definetly be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

It has been a while since I've been here and it's still just as good!! Great menu options! I was craving a sweet brunch and this did the job. Every mouthful was delicious..and best of all, the Service was just so top tier 💯. My friend has food sensitivities and they were so accommodating and didn't make her bad for altering her order.

Was good, green falafel bowl was quite unique interesting teste, questioning flavor, but least I felt becoming very healthy by eating this food. Fried burger was exactly what I expected. Personally feeling a bit pricy considering taste but not too pricy. It was good enough having breakie there, averagely ok.

Ordered the seafood platter. Was serviced prawns instead of the Moreton Bay bug without even being informed. When asked where the bugs where, they simply said there is a shortage of bugs so they swapped them for prawns instead. When I raised that I have seen dishes coming out of the kitchen with the bugs, they said it is available for the seafood linguine. So I asked why is it available for the linguine but not for my platter. Finally the served us two halves of two clearly different bugs. There was no apology, just arrogance from the staff. Food was below average, the prawns, bugs and salmon were overcooked. Terrible service especially on a day there is a 15% surcharge.

Took my wife here for her birthday and we really enjoyed our visit. The food and service were excellent and staff frequently checked in on us. Food and drink came out quickly too. We were visiting Torquay with our dog and didn’t want to leave him at the hotel, we sat outside and were worried it might get cold, but the gas heaters kept us nice and warm. Will definitely be back.

This place truly delivers on every level – delicious food, excellent service, and a stunning view that makes the experience even better. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing breakfast stop. I enjoyed a cappuccino and a very strong caramel latte that instantly woke me up. Their big breakfast was absolutely sensational! SO SO good! We called last minute and they were able to seat us on a large table inside. We were so grateful because it was a cold and rainy winter day. Latte was also delicious!

Went to Bomboras for the first time this morning and Padre’s cafe. I had eggs Benedict which was amazing the Hollandaise/bernaise sauce was yummy and cooked perfectly. The green breakfast salad (see below)was equally well made. Coffees from Padre were nice as well. Great service, food and view. Many thanks.

We just had the most delicious lunch of small plates which we shared. Thank you for the wonderful friendly service and the delicious food and drinks. The view over the beach is lovely too!!

We have been to Bomboras multiple times and we think their seafood linguini is the best. Sadly, we were told today that their new menu from 1st September will not have this option. Very disappointed!

Best bakery in Barwon Heads. The burger is tasty, a little unconventional but it works. Coffie is good. The muffins are fantastic best in the morning

The Starfish roll was great, full of flavour and the bread was so fresh but it was very sloppy and had a lot of fatty undercooked bacon pieces. Overall still a great Brekky!

Another I have been wanting to visit A colleague of me recommended this place and we decided to bring our friends all the way from Sydney to try with us Super friendly staff ❤️❤️❤️ Great selection of menu And the name! We got squishy! The egg yolk was still runny! YUM The muffin is just how I like! Crispy top DOUBLE YUM The ham and cheese croissant, not normal croissants cut in half but a real ham and cheese croissant!!! I don’t even normally eat fruit toast but I ate theirs. Very orangey 🧡 Definitely coming back for more!! #bulgogi_n_rendang

A visit to Victoria wouldn't be the same without a cruise down the GO road to breath in some salty air and to soak up coastal vibes My Sis insisted we stop off in Barwon Heads, grab a coffee, and try a "Squishy".. "A friggin what" was my reply... "You'll see" she said hahaha. It was about 930am and the Starfish was absolutely pumping. Locals and visitors alike queued down the street waiting to put in takeaway orders or too be lucky enough to find a table.... and now I know why. The coffees were on point and the alleged "Squishy" (which turned out to be the most perfectly cooked runny fried egg, bacon and mayo and the softest bread roll ever) was equal to the hype. They even prepared a GF version for my amazing wife who is Coeliac. Can't wait to return!!! Note: this place gets super busy, so one must be a little patient if you want to enjoy it's offerings

Stopped over for a quick breakfast before heading to Twelve Apostles. It was a amazing discovery. The big breakfast was huge and definitely tasty. Dun miss out their cakes! we ordered carrot cake, blueberry muffin. Moist and not too sweet.. Love it. We also ordered chocchips cookie, macaroon and chicken avocado sandwich for take away along our drive. All tasted so good. Definitely a place for stopover if goin for GreatOceanRoad trip.

The Pavilion at Eastern Beach is a welcoming cafe/restaurant With a variety of menu options on offer. Whether it be stopping for a morning coffee after having a waterfront stroll or a dining inside / or under the umbrellas for breakfast or lunch, it's a nice location and great if not too busy. I prefer weekday morning's and not busy weekends. After walking the dog and stopping for a coffee at the window, you're greeted with a friendly smile and offered a small doggy treat for the pooch.

The owners were so nice and welcoming Made us feel at ease - it’s usually very tricky with a 2.5yr old but I was not stressed at all The food was delish - fresh and authentic My daughter loved the Napoli penne and we enjoyed our Mediterranean salad I would definitely add more smoked salmon 😜 though Highly recommend if you are at the beach or If you are looking for a great place to have dinner

My first weekend in Geelong after relocating for work, and I decided to try this place despite its sub-four-star rating. My first visit was a pleasant surprise - great coffee and genuinely friendly service, with smiles all around. It left a good impression, so I returned the next day hoping for the same experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the first. I was met with noticeably sloppy service from one of the staff. My table wasn’t cleaned, no water was offered, and my food was handed over without so much as a word. A shame, considering how promising the first visit was. Food and coffee are still good but service is a no. Edited: Was provided with the reason that they were flat out prior and was given an apology.

We needed something to eat at the end of a great day in Geelong and this was the last place to eat before we reached the car. We ordered a pack and it was pretty decent for what it was. Not the best, not the worst. The guy who was at the counter was absolutely lovely. He also had THE MOST stunning blue eyes. Yeah I know this isn't relevant to the review but I was too shy to tell him at the time 🤣

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience here. I ordered an Almond Chai and was very clear about it—I even repeated it twice, as I am allergic to cow’s milk. However, I was served a drink with regular milk (Chaos Milk), which I never ordered. When I raised the issue, the only response I received was an excuse, saying it was “probably a misunderstanding.” This is not acceptable. Food and drink establishments must take allergies seriously, and mistakes like this can put people’s health at real risk. I paid for an Almond Chai and expected the staff to be careful, but unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of responsibility and attention to detail

We ate lunch here, my husband got the beef burger with fries and I got the eggs benedict. The burger fell apart after first bite, ended up being eaten with a knife and fork. I got the eggs benedict, the pulled pork was green ( not what I was expecting ) . The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sauce was nice. The view was very lovely, and service was good.

Carlos the manager was so friendly and came to greet me for table service, staff were great taking my order and catering to dietary requirements Carlos came to clear my table and we got to chatting and he recommended the sticky chai after I complimented the hot chocolates and so I ordered one too. It. Was. Great! Sweet, perfectly spiced and smooth with even a plant based milk. Keep up the great work guys!

Lovely little cafe. Service was great. Nice food. Parking is just on street parking in a side street or on the main street. The hollandaise sauce wasn't my favourite (my go to at new places is usually eggs benedict), very mustardy/vinegary, but enjoyable on the brioche & filling. My husband didn't complain about his breakfast so all good, though seeded bread isn't his favourite. Bacon wasn't very fatty which was great. A few people were complaining about waiting too long for their coffees or food. We waited just over 30 mins for our food. I think coffees came after 15? It was a busy morning & everyone was working hard to keep up. It's similar with many in hospitality these days, just remember not to take it out on staff!

I had such a wonderful experience at eddy and wills! The coffee was rich and perfectly brewed, and the steak sandwich was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. What truly stood out was the personal touch when staff came over to check if everything was alright, and I really appreciated that. It’s rare to find a place where you not only enjoy amazing food and coffee but also feel so well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem!!

Eddy and Wills breakfast menu is available all day, it covers the basics & has a very reasonably priced breakfast tasting plate & a small blackboard offers specials. Table water & menus were brought over to us & I took the opportunity to ask questions about the breakfast special while we ordered a large latte each. My husband ordered the smashed Avocado ($22) & a poached egg ($5) was added, while I ordered the special - a scrambled chilli eggs on Roti bread with pickled onion & selection of herbs ($22) & I also added Chorizo sausage ($6) as an extra side. Our breakfast arrived & both were picture perfect. The smashed avocado was so colourful with its garnish of beetroot, raddish, cucumber curls, goats cheese & snow pea shoots, drizzled with pomegranate molasses & Za’atar spices. It was noted that fresh avocado was used (as opposed to a tub of puree ). My chilli scrambled egg was also colourful with the herb selection sitting proud with its pickled onion. The egg had been folded & sat on by a appetising roti with my chorizo sitting off to the side. I had ordered this after finding out that the chilli used would be a chilli oil & it could be served on the side. This dish was very enjoyable, adding some chilli oil as I went along. The herbs were paired well, bold with beetroot leaves, purple basil, coriander & rocket amongst the choices. The chorizo had some spice to it too. The cafe has a good vibe & it even has an outdoor space. The staff were friendly & the food was lovely.

I am giving Eddy and Wills 5 stars. The staff were friendly, the ambience was lovely, and the flat white was great. Our brunch was tasty and well presented. The only minor issue I encountered was with the scrambled eggs. I had asked for them to be well done, but they came out a bit too dry for my liking. That said, they were still quite tasty and it did not take away from the overall quality of the meal.

A really nice brunch spot with tasty options for all palettes! We loved the food but wish the portion was a bit bigger and had a bit more zing! Will definitely be back to try their other offerings.

In our continuing exploration of places to have breakfast at in Geelong, E&W didn't disappoint. Lovely corner shop entrance with plenty of seating inside and out, and welcoming staff. Service is quick and very accommodating to changes (within reason I’d imagine). Flat white, chai latte and chocolate milkshake were all appropriately hot or cold and comforting - so much so we ordered drinks twice (most unusual for us!) which tells much about the quality of the drinks. Food was very tasty and flavourful, we were very happy with our order. Only one observation, the hollandaise was a bit too much on the vinegary side for our taste but maybe that’s the way their chef makes it. Worth a stop-in for a drink and a bite to eat.

Awesome coffee options with a great variety of tastes and origins. $7 for a large coffee with depth of flavour. I had a lamington bite too and it was great - since tried the donut and pretzel (great!). I'm excited to go back and try the other beans and be exposed to some surprising or new flavour profiles. Service was incredibly fast and the servers were very pleasant. The vibe is awesome, the smell is divine and the music is great. This place sets itself apart from all the other generic cafes by providing a more dynamic morning coffee experience. If, like me, you've been drinking basic coffee for a while try this place and see what coffee can do.

We really did enjoy this business. The Barista was very knowledgeable on the different blends of coffee beans that they supply. He also mentioned that they hold Barista course in the evening and they are quite popular. I did enjoy the blend and this cafe had a great atmosphere with amazing customer services. So if you like a amazing coffee, drop in and give them a try.

Visited Cartel on a friend’s recommendation and was stoked to see it open for trading on a Sunday. I ordered takeaway iced matcha with almond milk. Would’ve liked more matcha as it tasted a lil bland and milky due to the imbalanced ratio (yes, this was before the ice started to melt). Extremely beautiful fit out inside and out — couldn’t stop looking at the floor while waiting for my drink.

Glad I didn't read the reviews before I went. Only went there as I saw the outdoor space for my dog from the street, didn't have any expectations. Luckily I had a good experience this morning. Solid coffee and surprisingly good pastries too. Shall be back.

Bad experience today with food and service. Lukewarm cappuccino served when I had asked for extra hot. I took two sips (wasn’t going to say anything) but it really wasn’t good and I took it back explaining I’d asked for extra hot. The young woman who made it was going to make one as requested but the man in charge (the boss?) took it from her and said “just put hot water in it” so I ended up with a ‘hot’ watery cappuccino. Then the bagel was brought over. It was very brown on top and totally burnt on the bottom. Left a bad burnt taste in my mouth all the way home. Should have taken it back but just thought the man in charge has shown the young woman serving that lack of quality is totally okay. She’s inept but he’s responsible. Will never go back.

Great start to morning , we booked for mothers Day breakfast, and I'm glad we did as table began to fill up fast , i highly recommend booking a table first if there are 2 or more people . The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. we ordered 3 breakfast plates for 7 people, and it was definitely more enough with generous servings. we were very surprised . The atmosphere was so chill with bookings and limited tables it wasn't overcrowded, and we were able to enjoy our dining experience with feeling cramped in our space.

This was our first time at this gorgeous little cafe. The staff were so friendly and greeted us with a smile and a friendly attitude. They were very accommodating with changing certain items with what i ordered. The food was delicious, the hot chocolates were yummy overall it was amazing. Thank you to all your staff. Frankly speaking, it wasn’t a good dining experience. The service was so so. However, food was bad, the pancake we ordered was so bad, it was tasteless and was hard to bite. And for the meat, it was overly cooked that is super tough, and the salad was so acidic. The coffee was pretty bad too… The last time I came here, everything was pretty good, currently I am highly disappointed .

ORDERED: 🦑 Lignje na zaru (grilled calamari): Grilled marinated calamari served with garden salad and chips ($25.00) +10% weekend surcharge REVIEW: I'm not messing with you when I say this is the best grilled calamari I have ever had.  🧡 They're not too chewy, and the marinade caught fire over the grill, leaving some charcoaled bits behind. Perfect texture. It's absolutely delicious because of how flavourful it is as well. Along with some great salted crunchy chips, and a refreshing salad, I somehow demolished this dish. The dish was far better than I expected. Would recommend it!! 😂 Service at Village Door left more to be desired. Although our reserved table was ready half an hour early, which allowed us to be seated early (I loved this), they didn't seem too keen on the table service. I wasn't sure if they took our order at the table either, and after a while of waiting I decided to take the initiative to approach the counter. Then the tap water needed to be prompted twice... which doesn't allude to the best service.  🏜️ The atmosphere was quite busy. Tables were filled on a weekend during lunch time and I'm glad I made a booking! There's little cute decorations around, like the 'Dobar Tek' lettering which could be Croatian for "Enjoy your meal! Bon appetit!". Super cute!

This place was awful when it comes to food. I read that there were "chevapi in a pocket" . Got super excited and ordered . What came was a sorry excuse for a small dence Turkish roll and 3 ridiculously dry chevapi with a slither of ajvar and littoral crumbs of fetta. It was absolutely ridiculously unappetising.. When i went to pay i was charged nearly $45 for 2 ..and when i questioned it ..the girl said there was a "weekend surcharge" ... Awful food... and really not a good vibe I would avoid it at all cost

It was a very delicious Brunch🤤! ✅This place has a very friendly atmosphere. 🤔staff were a bit clueless but friendly. ✅Dishes are so yummy and varied. ✅Coffee is great and also there are variety of drinks. ✅Price is worth it for the taste and the portion. 👍🏻I recommend the village door to you visit with your family or friends 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

The bakery here was quite nice. The atmosphere of the place was very nice and cozy. I loved all the bread on the open display. The staff were also really nice to explain everything to you. The bread was very tasty and fresh, I really enjoyed it. The composition of the sandwiches were nice and everything complemented each other. That being said I didn't like the pumpkin focaccia. I got flavour fatigue after eating about half of it. Only suggestion I would recommend for the sandwiches is to incorporate some sort of pickled vegetables and also some more meat or protein as it can feel like empty calories.

Wow, this is the bakery of my dreams. Pain au choc perfect - pastry flaky, slightly salty and nice rich choc with a good bite to it. Lemon meringue tart amazing - not too sweet and just tangy enough. Pecan sticky bun, something I never knew I needed in my life but now can't stop thinking about

I was initially skeptical when I saw the bread, but I’m so glad we decided to try it—it turned out to be a combination I never knew I needed. The sesame bread paired with prosciutto and cheese was simple yet incredibly fragrant and flavorful. Just wow. We also had the pecan sticky bun with vanilla custard, and it was next-level. You could actually see the vanilla beans in the custard 🥹. I never knew pecans and buns could be this good together! Place was also pretty crowded when we visited.

Soooo delicious. We bought some to eat then and some to take away for later. Ended up eating the lot it was so good 😅. Flavour combinations on point 💯. Asparagus croissant incredible, also Camembert thyme and hot honey. Wish I could have tried everything.

Great service. Great food. Great coffee. Great vibes. For me, Blank Space has been the perfect pre-work pick-me-up stop over. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and, even with plenty of punters about, there's always a chill atmosphere that's ideal if you still haven't fully cleared the morning brain fog, as is the case with me more often than not. The service is consistently fast, but not at the expense of the dishes, which are always generous and delicious. I'm heading back that way tomorrow to stay for a few days. Just as well, because my mouth has been watering while I've been writing this. Might look at the menu ahead of time and plan my brekkiesin advance.

This place is deceiving as it bigger & fresher than its street presence gives it credit for. The staff were friendly & we couldn’t fault the staff. Coffee arrived quickly & was good, the food promptly after that. The Smashed Avo was fresh, attractive, colourful & filling with perfectly poached eggs. With its Halloumi adding a twist. Even the added bacon was 👍👍👍 The Eggs Benny was a mixed bag - again looked attractive, good serve of pulled beef with fresh & crunchy slaw, topped off with perfectly poached eggs. But the slaw obviously hadn’t been drained properly as the plate had a thin layer of water making the hash less than crispy. The hash could have been thicker. The beef was juicy but was bland. But I do love trying something different 👍👍 A bit pricey with the surcharges $75 for 2 but worthy of an another visit.

Having read some of the reviews I was doubtful how this place would turn out. I shouldn’t have been at all concerned. It was Saturday morning around 9am, moderately busy, but we were greeted warmly and directed to a table. Atmosphere was light and spacious, vibe was lighthearted and friendly… staff were excellent and very attentive. Our coffee and sticky chai came out very quick and hot. My overly fussy coffee drinker other half was “complimentary” and declared the coffee ‘good’ (high praise indeed!) my sticky chai was delicious and warmingly enjoyable. Food came out quickly as well, had the eggs Benny and the dish was really very good. The eggs were poached beautifully…yolks perfectly oozy. The pulled beef…ate well, and the sauce balanced everything together nicely. Verdict - definitely worth a visit.

We booked ahead because there were 12 of us meeting there. Unfortunately, we got squeezed onto a table that was too small, which made it very crowded. That aside, the food was very good. I had the breakfast burrito (pictured) with a side of chips. The burrito was very tasty, and the chips were amongst the best I've ever had. The place was very busy, which made it very noisy and hard to talk to those further down the table.

We visited on a Saturday morning, greeted by a full house, loud music and several staff walking past us for a solid 8 minutes before being acknowledged. However, once seated, service was prompt, efficient and friendly. As a creature of habit, I tend to always order chilli scram at brekkie so it’s fair to say I’ve had my fair share. I was disappointed that, on this occasion, it did not pass the flavour check. Without the green chilli jam, it would’ve been tasteless. However I was pleasantly surprised that the jam did deliver a touch of heat. The waffle was hard and still didn’t soften under the melting ice cream but if you’re a sweet tooth, anything covered in nutella and strawberries can somehow be forgiven. The porridge was mainly granola and very dry. The other 2 meals are house standards at most cafes and like most cafes, they’re hard to get wrong. Nothing to rave home about, nothing to complain about. However, I did like the paprika hollandaise on the benedict bagel. Blank Space offers various bottomless options and the loud music definitely sets the vibe if that’s what you’re going there for. We tried a few cocktails and they were all great! If a quiet, chill brekkie is what you’re after, Blank Space is not the place for you. It is loud and it is busy! 🍽 DISH OF THE DAY: Apple Sour cocktail. Unfortunately none of the dishes were a hit for me.

Menu is wrong on website to what they give you when you are there. Asked the waiter why, she said the manager hasn’t changed it yet, please email and let them know so they can change it and we can stop disappointing customers, so I did email because I wanted a specific item on the menu not available, and have heard nothing back, poor service and doesn’t care about wrong information on website, false advertising, just disappointed in overall experience, will never comeback here knowing there not reliable.

Mano is a welcoming spot with attentive staff and a great atmsophere. Perfect for regular meetups with friends. I enjoy the food and the coffee is great from my coffee drinking firends. Sometimes it can get a bit too busy around peak times, but will settle down after 20-minutes or so.

The pastries are fresh and delicious, and the coffee is rich and flavorful. Service is fast, and the staff are incredibly friendly — every visit is a treat!🤎💛💚

Come for the coffee, stay for the hugs (and the Mano Melt)! Mano Deli is more than just a café! it’s a community hub wrapped in great coffee and even better vibes. Benji and Jimmy have created a space that feels like home, with killer music, friendly faces, and the kind of welcoming energy that makes you want to stay all day. The Mano Melt (extra pickles, always) is hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had, and the coffee is consistently spot-on. They’re amazing with my kids, support local disability services, and their occasional Friday night drinks are such a great vibe. Kind, cool, and full of heart. So lucky to have this place around the corner.

The Shakshuka Eggs Herr are delicious. This place may be my regular if I lived nearby. I did order a latte but not receive it, but all the service was friendly which more than made up for it

A fantastic spot for breakfast with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The coffee was excellent, served quickly and with a smile, which made the experience even better. I ordered the big breakfast and was really impressed with both the quality and the generous serving size. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable, making it great value for money. Overall, the combination of tasty food, good coffee and fast, friendly service made for a really enjoyable visit. We will definitely be back again soon.

It was a pleasant place with lovely staff and nice people around. The ambiance was charming, with people sitting outside in the cool weather enjoying their hot brunch. I tried two types of hot chocolate: one standard and the other Nutella. Both had a mild taste of chocolate, but I prefer a stronger chocolate flavor. I was expecting marshmallows with the hot chocolate, as mentioned in the menu, but they were missing. I think they forgot since the place was busy. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and the prices were reasonable.

From the very first time she flashed that gorgeous smile across the counter, I knew my mornings had officially upgraded. She's got this effortless charm — part sunshine, part sass — and somehow makes even the sleepiest coffee order feel like the most exciting part of your day. It’s not just the perfect oat flat white she nails every time — it’s the way she remembers your name, gives you that little smirk when you're trying to be cool before caffeine, and throws in just the right amount of banter to keep you on your toes. There’s a kind of magic in the way Jacinta runs the front — she’s quick, sharp, and somehow makes you feel like the only person in the room (even if there’s a line out the door). I swear, half of us are just pretending to need another coffee just for an excuse to talk to her again. Seven Oranges, you're lucky to have her — but don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow. And the next day. And probably the day after that. Just... for the coffee. Obviously. ☕😉

Nice cosy restaurant in the middle of busy pako. The service and staff are great and the food is delish. The salmon tasted fresh and the calamari were yummy. Popped in for coffee and cake for the first time in ages. Recall having a meal here many moons ago that was delicious. Service was pleasant. Berry Cheesecake was beautiful. Whilst not a fan of cutlery in buckets already on the table (potentially everyone and every thing touching them 🤢) it did make it easy for us to cut our cake up to share ✅ My Mocha was OK, although lacking in chocolate. I did wonder if I’d been given the wrong drink but couldn’t be arsed checking 😃 Loved the mugs our drinks came in… comfortable to hold. Pretty decor.

OMG 😦 went to Ollie’s Cafe & Bar for breakfast for the first time and the food was AMAZING 🤩 Will definitely be our go to from now on. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decked out and the food is another level. Well worth a visit. 🥰

What an experience for my grandson, not only did the waitress dote on him, but made him a special message on his chai, got him to choose a slice and put a candle in it and sang Happy birthday to him. Thank you for going out of your way to make Linkans birthday memorable. 11 stars he said for having the best start to his birthday.

Food is overpriced basic food. Worst thing was when I go to pay and they charge me $10 for weekend fee and eftpos fee, wasn't even a long weekend or public holiday. Not even sure if that is legal. Will not be going here ever again.

Cafe latte and cream cheese bagel 🥯 were delicious 🤤 but it took 10 minutes on a fairly quiet Saturday morning. 4 staff but only 1 making coffee, maybe 1 in the kitchen, one just on customer service but could surely drop back and help in the kitchen or the coffee machine to speed up service.. Especially on a cold rainy morning when you're waiting for a train 🚆 10 minutes seemed like a lot for a fairly simple order. Barista wasn't in a hurry

There’s constantly a half hour wait on coffees when the girls get 10 dockets. This is the slowest coffee making I have ever seen in my life such a shame as it’s one of the few in Armstrong Creek. Need a bigger and better coffee machine as well as faster baristas or owners that care about not making people wait half an hour… need an update on equipment and just all around. Very sad.

I like Untitled, coffee is always good and the bagels are nice. The sweets are definitely the highlight - the caramel slice is iconic. I just wish they would consider opening up some of the indoor space. There isn't many cafes in the area that offer indoor seating - which is fine usually but in bad weather it's nice to have the option. Considering the cafe has the space inside and has had ample seating prior to covid, I think it's a shame they don't offer it as another point of difference to it's neighbouring cafes in Geelong/East Geelong/South Geelong. Also, I do wish you could sit in the courtyard while you wait for your coffee and food (sometimes the wait can be a while), but because they just call from the window and don't come out to the courtyard, it's not possible.

Bacon and egg bagel was superb, but the coffee was even better. The coffee was absolutely stunning. the 'drive-thru' style service is kind of weird. Even tho the seating is lo-fi, it's got a no-stress vibe. Must return

The Indian server was rude and short. We were the only ones there and made a request for more crispy bacon. She rudely stated “we don’t do that” and glared at me. All they had to do was leave the bacon on the frier for 1 min longer. Atrocious display of hospitality. Will not return. And the coffee was average at best.

Although the bagels aren't like American bagels they're still nice. Very good chai! No indoor seating, but nice outside area if it's nice weather.

Cute little corner shop with ready-made food, hot and cold drinks. A great selection of eclectic grocery items worth checking out. Staff very friendly and willing to serve and answer questions. We bought Pepe Saya butter and lemon curd, and pancake mix … turned out well for a Sunday breakfast. Drinks were fine, but for my personal taste the chai was a bit watery. Worth the visit for the groceries.

Massive hipster decor but so what it's really nice. The staff here are very friendly and the food is delish. I always go for the chicken salad sarnie or tuna melt, I haven't tried any other food here so can't comment. The desserts always seem overpriced, but this place would have more hipsters in it than a turtleneck warehouse if it was in Northcote. The coffee is fine but it's the vibes that bring you back.

I regularly visit Kilgour St Grocer with friends for brunch and coffees as it's a local and consistently reliable spot for good quality meals. Nice atmosphere, trendy aesthetic and vibes in a nice location. Always handy for parking if you’re not walking there. Great coffee and yummy meals, with quite a good selection of vegan options all at affordable prices. Can be slightly slow in service if the place is busy but this would be expected. Worth a stop if you’re in the area, particularly if you’re after vego/vegan meals.

I went in today and just want to highlight how incredible the two staff were today. They had a steady line of customers with one staff member taking orders and preparing the food simultaneously. I don't know how she did it! Everything arrived very quickly and coffees were super fast and delicious as well. Serving size of food was generous as well.

Went in here to get morning tea with a work colleague. Where do I start? The tall dark hair woman who served me was so rude and abrupt when I asked if she could please warm up the muffin I ordered. Her response was not to ‘because they are already soft’ (not why I was asking!) My colleague then spoke to her explaining that I simply wanted it warm and we were not sure why she wouldn’t. We asked ‘aren’t the customers usually right? ‘ No she said. We communicated that we wouldn’t be coming back here again as her response was really rude. ‘I don’t care, don’t come back.’ Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! *The owners response wants to name and shame a person by using their name. I don’t add names as it is a bullying tactic. At no point was there disrespect directed to any staff. Bullies need to be called out.

Ducked in for a late breakfast and for my absolute love of Campos coffee ❤️❤️ Greeted as soon as I walked in by friendly and attentive staff, music playing, really chill vibe 🤗 Ordered a lactose-free Campos latte brewed beautifully and the Toasted Chicken BLAT, delicious bread, great crunch, generous amounts of chicken, avocado was ripe and smooth 🥑 For me it just needed some more seasoning to balance it out 😋😋 Even though it was consistently busy the customer service was super quick!! 👍👍 Take away I chose the raspberry Donut and Blueberry Tart.....the tart was a tasty little morsel, can't wait to visit again soon! 😍

Friendly staff, the dirty chai double shot was nice and strong and just the right temperature. The pancakes was nice but I wouldn’t say it was worth the price of $22, but apart from that I definitely would be happy to come back l.

I have walked past this Cafe so many times over the years but on this occasion we decided to dine in for a meal instead of sitting out in food court. The food was delicious, as was my latte however the price for the food was overpriced as was my sons milkshake. It came out in a standard glass for the price of a usual tall milkshake glass. So unfortunately there was no value for money in my opinion.

The breakfast menu offered is simplified for weekends. It looks like it offers the most popular menu items. We stuffed up & walked in from the Garden st door & found a table - the staff were busy delivering coffees & orders & we seemed to be at a loss until i headed towards the main counter & saw the menu’s, till & ‘the penny dropped’ that this cafe is not full service. Table water was available on a counter & cutlery was in a sml box on our table. We placed our order - 2 regular Latte’s, an Eggs Benny with bacon & a Corn fritters with mushrooms. The bill total showed a surcharge was applied (either w/e or C/card but not disclosed) Our breakfast arrived a few minutes after our coffees & both presented with good size portions & very pretty. The Benny had a nicely toasted seeded bagel, good bacon & my husband said his eggs were poached perfectly, it had been garnished with picked dill & cracked pepper 👍👍 The corn fritters looked generous, cooked well & thick. Smashed avocado on top with crumbled Persian feta, the egg sat proudly on top with the beetroot relish dabbed around. The fritters were cake like, they needed the avo & relish & could have benefited from have each fritter spread with Avocado - not just the top! The mushrooms were on point & were an excellent addition. The cafe was modern & had a great vibe. Plenty to see in the way of cakes, toasties, muffins, sandwiches & focaccias.

Local Geelong Bakery – Coffee & Breads A hidden gem in Geelong! Their coffee is consistently smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. The bread selection is top-notch – fresh, crusty on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. A go-to spot for a quality morning fix.

Soy mocha was decent but nothing special. The caramel scroll had a nice crunchy outside, but the inside was too doughy for my liking.

Everything was great except for the toasted bagel. Not sure what they were thinking pressing it like a sandwich — the cheese completely liquefied, and the bagel ended up burnt and tasting more like a seed cracker than a bagel.

The ham and cheese croissant, personally think was not that good for the price $10. I couldnt really taste the ingredients and it was overpowered with the more toasted taste, rather than the ham, cheese and croissant part. The sandwich was really tasty. The chicken schnitzel was good in the sandwich. I liked the sandwich. $16.50. The coffee...read this was a good place for coffee but the latte I had was really really bad...I couldnt drink all of it and should have gone back to get it remade. Honestly, was one of the worst one I have tried and this one was from a barista cafe. Not sure if it was a one off or not. :( Also during my visit coffee took some time despite I was just waiting behind 1 other person who ordered a coffee. Maybe some disagree, but I think having the prices or at least labels on the products make service more simple and easy, plus also more up front (saves time of asking what is each one). Since it is already a hole-in-the-wall style takeaway shop that you can't step foot inside, I think labels and prices are more up front and no fuss. I was curious on the other items but didnt want to ask about each once as there were multiple customers that came up to order too. Along with the taste of the food and service presentation of items for sale and pricing is something I consider and think about.

I'm changing my review due to a purchase I made on Friday 19th July. I bought some Greek style Baklava for my fathers birthday before I left Geelong for the weekend. You can imagine how disappointed I was when I read the best before date. Yes I take responsibility for not being more careful but I trusted this store. That won't be a mistake I make again. The best before date was 20/5/2024, so 2 months older than recommended yuck.

Some really really great things, but one really big negative (lose two star). We really loved visiting this store for the first time this week. So much variety and all deliciously presented. We wanted to buy it all! The deli small goods looked divine! We purchased ‘Viral Dubai chocolate’ - small chocolate bars with pistachio inside $12.99 per bar. Not something I’d normally buy due to the exorbitant price and small size, but hey - on holiday… it was very yummy but I wouldn’t buy again. When queuing to pay we found the assorted Italian almond biscuits which we love! Unfortunately we had to sort through about 4 containers to find biscuits that weren’t covered in a lot of fluffy white mold 🤔(I forgot to get a pic). We eventually found one without mold. They were all the same expiry date and were a couple of days still within date. We should’ve told the staff member upon paying but they were flat out busy. When we got home to try the biscuits they were stale.

Be prepared for the possibility that you may not feel welcome in this store based on your appearance. The difference between the experience my non-white partner had shopping at Geelong Fresh Foods and my own experience as a white person is stark — and troubling. He visited the store on two separate occasions, and both times was subjected to treatment from staff that was completely unwarranted and, when compared to how I was treated, strongly suggests racial profiling. On both visits, staff followed him around the store, watched him closely as he shopped, and treated him rudely — right up until he paid, as if they had assumed he wouldn’t (I can't imagine what made them think that). On one occasion, a staff member physically cut him off as he tried to enter the store, as if he were invisible. And when he asked for help locating a product (one purchased there before) a staff member who had been following him around bluntly refused to assist him. After his last visit, my partner came home in tears. It broke my heart to hear him say, “I didn’t ask to look like this.” No one should ever be made to feel that way. I honestly don’t like leaving negative reviews, but given my partner’s experiences, and after seeing he same themes mentioned in two other Google reviews, it’s clear that Geelong Fresh Foods is failing in its positive duty under the Equal Opportunity Act to eliminate discrimination wherever possible. My partner and I will not be returning — but I hope this review encourages the business to reflect and commit to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected.

Great place normal friendly atmosphere. But today still upset. Simple thing that never should have happen to me. Brought sunflowers for a sick friend on Friday. Thought today l will go back and buy a fresh bunch which I did pick sunflowers with larger black centre. Tried two on the workers to cut some of the stem off but both busy. Thought ask a register a young female at Pako Street register look at me said I tried but the guy are busy could please cut some stems off as I going by bus. She went to cut the and came back with very old and different sunflowers And laughed at me when I said that's not the once I picked. Came home the ones today are older that the ones from Friday. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL OF THIS TRICK TO KEEP IN NEW STOCK AND SELL OLD STOCK THIS WAY.

Highest quality of everything, everything looks so fresh and tasty, staff is friendly and welcoming. Their mangoes are so delicious, cherries ar good, their Greek cheese and turkey are wonderful. Peanut butter is fresh and tasty. I liked everything there, olives and their caramelised onions are so good.

Brown deli have never missed the mark! I travel all the way from Warrnambool to buy their bagels. They are excellent and a master of their craft! I just tried the truffle toasty, the flavours are on point! The American cheddar compliments the ingredients, I wouldn’t change it! And using exquisite ingredients like truffle is delicious. The staff are also so accommodating and lovely , especially with my allergies. Going above and beyond with a smile always!

This was our breakfast stop in Geelong. We ordered a chicken, avo & chilli toastie and a truffle mushroom toastie. Both toasties were excellent—the bread was crunchy, generously buttered, and packed with fillings. The truffle mushroom had a perfect balance of flavour and wasn’t overpowering. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Overall, it was a great decision to try them. 👍

But let’s talk about the elephant in the sandwich: that orange plastic McDonald’s-style cheese. Why? Who hurt you? It’s 2025 – we have better cheese now. I had the Korean fried chicken bagel for lunch and it was nothing short of incredible. In a cost of living crisis and a time when value can be hard to come by, my $17.50 spend was absolutely loaded today! I hear you cry, $17!!!, BUT, kudos to Brown D - the chicken was perfectly crispy, the sauce had a gentle hum of heat, and the pickled cabbage brought a decent contrast that reset the palate with every bite. Texture and taste in droves, this was a standout feed.

A stunning roast chicken sanga - perfectly chewy bread, fresh lettuce, and a delicious herby mayo'd chicken mix with nutty crunch. Highly recommend. Coffee Supreme's blend was poured perfectly, as my other half said, "damn that's a good coffee". Light, bright space with a friendly team and cruisy vibe - bonus points for the coffee paraphernalia and vines growing happily.

The service was friendly and inviting, the muffin I did have was very nice......but the absolute stand-out for me aside from the atmosphere, was the size of the marshmallow in my hot chocky.......it was huge and thoroughly tasty aswell. Stumbled across this place by chance. I can't say I've ever heard of eggs being sous vide, but they were delicious. Quaint atmosphere, eclectic music and furniture; comfortable. Friendly staff.

Well shaggas, the tuna melt and fried chicken sando were absolutely delicious. The service is exemplary, the staff are wonderful, the space is divine, the vibes are banging. Hell freakin YEAH!

This little cafe is such a sweet spot in Geelong west. Everything is made fresh and feels like a warm hug / almost like home. The prices are reasonable and the serves are decent. The only thing I can fault is that I always come for a coffee and end up leaving with some extra delicious treats. Which to be honest, are never regretted. Keep up the great work and cooking up such delicious treats. This little shop is the highlight of my weekends.

Randy’s is the truly local coffee spot of our dreams. Hands down the best coffee in Geelong and if never misses. The sweets are so wholesome and foster nostalgia, I don’t even bother asking what the muffin flavor is before ordering as it is always elites. The service is just as awesome. This is our favorite coffee spot and we can’t recommend it enough.

Need a hug? Do yourself a favour and grab a coffee from At Randy’s and any of the incredible baked goods on offer. It’s the best hug you’ll ever have . The owner Kelly bakes everything with love and honestly, you can taste it. The coffee is consistently great, and the atmosphere casual and friendly. To make things even better, Kelly frequently offers homemade savoury items like soup, lasagne and sausage rolls (to name a few). My husband and I moved from Melbourne on the hunt for our new local and we’re thrilled to have found this tiny little cafe with the biggest heart and most reliable coffee. Go there and you’ll see.

Went here for girl's night out. The vibe of this place is amazing. There were drink rounds going and we totally enjoyed the margaritas here. The mocktails were super duper delicious too. For my mains I ordered spiced cauliflower salad which was good but I won't order again. The staff was amazing . Will definitely go here again to try out some more stuff on their menu.

Went to venue with a couple of mates. We had some appetizers, the springs rolls were yummy and the pizza. The wings were a bit chewy should have been cooked a bit more. For Main I had the steak, the steak was like rubber, came with 2 small baked potato' s and some strings beans. The veggies were flavour less should have been cooked in butter and garlic. Overall the dish was a joke and for $49 dollars do not recommend at all. On the hand the burger was delicious. The drinks were very good as well.

This Geelong restaurant is a really cosy gem with a wonderful, intimate atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic date or a personal birthday because the acoustics are fantastic—you can actually hold a conversation without fighting the surrounding noise or echo. The food was excellent, and the service sealed the deal. The personnel were warm, welcoming, and communicative, made us feel amazing.

I was really disappointed with our visit. The salmon that was served was undercooked, which raised serious food safety concerns. On top of that, when ordering from the kids’ menu, we found a mosquito sitting on the tomato — absolutely unacceptable in terms of hygiene. We expected a family-friendly dining experience, but instead left feeling let down. The setting is nice, but the food preparation and quality control need urgent improvement.

A lovely evening out. Service was very good….shout out to Chloe for her care and attention…sat in a great spot with a view of the bay. Drinks were quick…cocktails well made (bartender on the night was friendly and generous with his time…thanks). Food came out quickly and was tasty. Atmosphere was mellow and pleasant. A decent outing…with great views. Worth going for a night out.

I visited this highly rated café and overall it was a great experience. The food was delicious, fresh and healthy, and the staff were very friendly. The only small disappointment was the Benedict egg I ordered, as the yolk was almost fully cooked instead of runny as I expected. Prices are on the higher side and the portions are quite small, making it more suitable for those who enjoy a light and healthy meal rather than a filling one.

We enlisted Driftwood Cafe to help cater for a hens party we were hosting in Ocean Grove. Ty was fantastic to liase with, the options were fantastic, food was delivered on the day, dietary requirements no trouble and the food was loved by everyone who attended. Highly recommend.

This is a great little cafe with yummy, well priced food. I had the smashed avo and it came with poached eggs and little baked cherry tomatoes, delicious! My friends all had great, heart breakfasts too. A bit understaffed, but the young man who served us was great. Take a walk out the back to the loo, a nice quirky little outdoor space. Food was okay, ribs were overcooked and bland, possibly just microwaved to reheat. Burgers were odd flavors and the coating on the chicken was raw and undercooked. Food would be fine if you were enjoying a few beverages and you didn’t mind. Staff were lovely and atmosphere was great.

Nice food. Our order was mucked up, but we got it in the end. Service was a bit jumbled, and our meals were spaced out, so we didn't get to enjoy our meals together. The gas fireplace definitely set the atmosphere.

My sister and I both ordered the beef burger. They arrived to our tables within 10/15 minutes of ordering. Almost too fast. I took a bite and immediately noticed the meat was cold and mushy. I looked down at it and noticed the entire burger was red raw. Even the outside. I checked both patties and they were both raw. Almost like they had melted the cheese onto them before evening checking whether they were cooked. I politely asked the waiter if I could receive a replacement burger. While waiting, my sister also noticed one of her two burger patties was also very raw and she left it on her plate. When they brought my replacement burger, I checked it before eating and noticed that it was still uncooked. I ate the edges (which wasn’t much). There is a picture attached of what it looked like. My sisters also looked like this. The fries were okayish. It seems the chef was either inexperienced or careless. We were offered a refund, however I wanted to make this known to potential customers of this place for safety reasons. It is the day after I ordered from this place and both my sister and I have been experiencing horrible stomach cramps and food poisoning. It’s very dangerous and I think people should be very weary.

Oshkosh kind of a menu and a terrible service. Definitely NOT an upscale restaurant. First of all we didn’t have a dedicated wait staff therefore we were asked if we were ready to order multiple times! And we were not sure if the last person who took the order forgot to place it or what! No one checked on us and we had to wait and wave at them for awhile to get their attention. I ordered orange juice for my boys and one of the glasses had lipstick stain on it and when I pointed it out to one the waiter who served them he looked at it “oh ya” and took it back to being the juice in a clean class (no apology or anything, just a “oh ya”) The kids pasta was just spaghetti mixed with a blah tasting tomato sauce which my boys tried and pushed away. The kids ice cream came melted 😲 The butter Chicken (Indian) dish was very good. The spring rolls were spicy and unpleasant. The porterhouse steak was very good. Bathroom was dirty and unattended 🤮

We were down in Port Arlington for the weekend and headed to Barwon Heads for dinner after struggling to secure a reservation at several other venues. The meal started strong with some exceptionally delicious salt and pepper calamari and we also thoroughly enjoyed the hummus and bread which was quite the generous serve. My steak for main however was rather disappointing. To only have one steak option for a pub is surprising but what porterhouse costs $55? I was expecting a pretty impressive steak but it needed a mountain of salt to make it palatable as it was fairly flavourless and for pretty much the first time in my life I actually left food behind on a plate, there just wasn’t enough jus. I enjoyed the crispy potatoes though

After returning a completely roar chicken sandwich, the manager could not find the courtesy nor professionalism to apologise personally for the worst error in cooking! The lovely waitress was sent out with a refund, (requested) for the undercooked food only, not the entire bill, it certainly may have saved a poor review at least. Really disappointing 😞

The food was nice and the service is good. The upmarket appearance of the establishment did leave me a bit disappointed as I expected a dinner experience to suit. Nothing wrong with the place, just needs to drop the price about 10% and the experience would match expectations.

We ordered the egg and bacon brioche roll and the angus beef burger. The burger stated that it came with ‘crisps’, when it showed up there were only seven sad and stale chips in a pathetic little side bowl. The e&b roll was ridiculously flat and sad. I expect that kind of shitty looking food from somewhere like maccas but for a overpriced cafe this is a major let down. The staff were wonderful though🙏

Annie’s Provedore is fully stocked to its ‘gills’ with produce like Oils, jams, cheeses & cured meats. Amongst these culinary treasures you sit & enjoy some great cafe selections. We ordered a latte each & both decided to have the Bubble & Squeak and added the extra cost sourdough. Odd for a breakfast to not come with toast of some sort & adding it took the price to $29 a plate which seemed on the high side. The Coffee’s arrived with a smile, they are a blend from Geelong coffee roasters called Goliath . They were smooth, well made with a caramel finish. Our food arrived & the plate was vibrant, colourful & chock full of winter veggies like roasted corn, brussel sprouts, sweet potato, cherry tomatoes & zucchini. So tasty with bold veggies & seasoned well on artisan grained sourdough we thoroughly enjoyed it & we both left nothing on our plates. Meaning our initial thoughts on price disappeared along with the food. All up service was friendly, the food & coffee was really good and you could spend quite a lot of time perusing the exquisitely stocked shelves.

A popular well established cafe. Pork, fennel & Orange sausage roll, the description much better than the taste. Korma chicken wrap, served lukewarm, low on flavour & heavy on rice.

Loved this place!! The food was delicious in this gorgeous store. There were many locals enjoying the food and atmosphere. However, it was the amazing waitress who tied everything together into such a lovely experience. She was engaging and attentive to all of her customers. We felt very welcome here. And the vanilla thick shake was the cherry-on-top for my very pregnant daughter! Highly recommended 👌🏼

Had an amazing breakfast there! Interesting concept of the cafe where has grocery besides cafe tables for customers. Was waiting to be seated, but there was lady behind of me taking her seat coming across me as there was no rules for it. If you find your seat, just sit but don't need to wait. Anyway, other than this, everything was great Food was surprisingly nice as well as iced long black too! I will definitely go again to try other menu

We have been there before with friends and enjoyed our time there. This time it was totally different and was very disappointed with a number of things. Firstly there was not any warmth and was not busy at all. When we sat at our table we then went to the counter to be served, and there was not any pleasantry at all in taking our order. Firstly we were challenged by the lady behind the counter ( the owner we envisaged) as to the table number we were sitting at, and after advising the number and having to again advise where we were sitting*she finally acknowledged it was what we had advised. Then upon taking our order and asking for a slight adjustment for one of the orders the response was “we are a cafe” and nothing else, so we didn’t know if we could or couldn’t, we had to wait to see what came out. Then upon receiving our orders, there was no adjustment to the order as requested ! The attitude of the lady behind the counter was disgraceful and not one thank you . Finally we had to then ask where was our coffee that was ordered to another lady who looked to see if it was taken and acknowledged and couldn’t find it, but thankfully they provided one, after we sat for a period of time. Overall the service and attitude was very disappointing and we certainly will advise friends if they are thinking of going not to. We like Barwon Heads but this has left us with a sour experience.

Friendly staff, fast paced, good courtyard area to eat in. Steak and onion pie 7/10. A good mix of chunky and mince beef, little light on the onions and flavour but might have just been bad luck, but was otherwise tasty. Turkey baguette was tasty and good value. Sausage roll was pretty disappointing for a bakery, tasted just like something from a servo.

We were regulars @ the Bakehouse prior to Covid. It was a favourite for breakfast. The service was friendly & efficient. The food of good quality, & reasonably priced. We were therefore surprised that with the end of Covid restrictions, breakfasts as we knew them, were no longer available. Very disappointing. No matter. There were other places available to us. We wanted to continue to support the Bakehouse, but are finding it increasingly difficult. Our problem is that whenever we buy a lunch roll/bun, the price varies, even though the fillings are the same each time. Last Friday we bought two schnitzel buns, an apple pastry. & a plain coffee scroll. The cost was an eye watering $44.30 There is a very limited pricing board, displayed, so difficult to work out the likely cost of your purchases. A more comprehensive price list would help customers decide whether the purchase is of good value. The food is still of good quality, but overpriced. There is a large choice of rolls, buns, etc, as well as cakes. & pastries. Bread can also be purchased. The staff are efficient, but there's something lacking. There are tables both on the footpath, & around back, as well as inside. Entry has a couple of steps to navigate. The parking is limited free parking on the street, although there are car parks within walking distance.

Great selection of food and very freindly service, we sat out the back while the kids played with toys and went down the slide. With a great atmosphere with plenty of trees,plants and birds chirping away. Me and wife had the egg,bacon and cheese rolls were awesome we had to order more. Our latte's were perfect temperature along with a good taste. The price is really reasonable too, will definitely be back.👍

Just tried the vanilla slice even though we asked for the half and half. We drove off and discovered not what we asked and paid for and then the pastry was uncooked and very tough to eat. Not coming back!

This was such a great find. We just went for a drive to Portarlington for something to do. It was nice to go in and we bought some really pastries, donuts etc for afternoon tea. They were really nice. The staff were lovely and friendly and happy to answer my 100 questions about their products. I wanted sourdough but they only do that weekends.

Service was very friendly and accomodating. Welcomed us and did their best to meet all of our needs. Kids milk shake was very small. Coffees came in pottery cups which were very creative and cool. You can also order in a take away and stay in. View was nice of the bay. Outside seating available. There wasn’t a lot of parking. But large feel next to cafe to enjoy. It’s deserves 4.5 stars. It was very affordable. $40 for 6 drinks and two slices. Not heaps of slices available.

Beautiful setting. Menu had a great variety of choices. Mostly simple food and very nicely presented. Crab was delicious with a lovely salad. Coffee good too.

This place was so amazing 8 years ago when we last visited. The customer service and condition is now about 2 stars. Food was nice but they said they ran out of tomato sauce. We ordered drinks which we received in bottles and no glasses. Lots of cobwebs on deck dirty dog water bowls. It has so much potential if they revamp it a little and work on their customer service.

It was a good experience in there. Food was good as well. A lovely waiter/waitress, August, was a friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the rest of waiters were a little weird and weren't communicating friendly. They also charged us $1 for service coffee in a mug!

We popped in here for a mid morning brunch after park run and some work. Was a stand out! Delicious food, the chilli scramble was amazing and my partner loves the halloumi on toast Stunning outlook across the bay It was quiet at the time we went and the service was wondering, the young person manning the counter was lovely, prompt and helpful. Was lovely to see them proudly wearing a pride beanie, it made us feel welcome and warm The coffees were excellent too! I’d definitely come back here, it looks like it’d make a fantastic function space too!

We had our wedding and ceremony of an intimate 33 guests here. It was a dream venue and venue manager Monica and team where phenomenal. From setting up the decor, to the food, and bar service. 5 stars all round for making our dream day perfect. This venue is a hidden gem! Our guests where impressed.

Nice spot out near the Geelong Waterfront. We sat outside in the sun which was lovely but the service wasn’t the greatest. We waited for 35 mins for two crepes to come out - Death by Chocolate and the Delhi crepe. They were nice in all fairness but when we tried to ask how much longer the food would be the response was “hopefully soon” and then the staff just carried on talking. Didn’t even go and check on the food. Anyway - it was fine overall. Possibly caught them not on their finest day. Nice selection of cakes in the cabinet.

We ordered Benedict Crepe and Banana Crepe with Flat white. Coffee was okay-ish. Crepe was very filling and came in a big size. Love the Benedict Crepe, it was thick, but somehow lack of season. Banana was good and delicate. Service can be slower when busy. Great location.

Ordered their Chicken Supreme and Eggs Benedict, quantities were great, although the quality a little basic for my taste. Wouldn't recommend this place for coffees to be honest. Location is amazing, service is quick. Price is decent too. Nothing too flavourful/great about the crepe menu, the sweet crepe menu might be better (I'm hoping).

I recently visited Panache Cafe on Geelong's waterfront and was disappointed with the experience. The service was notably slow, with our coffees arriving one at a time, with a 3-4 minute gap between each. My weak flat white was bitter and required at least two sugars to make it palatable, when I would normally have none or half a teaspoon. To add to the disappointment, the lemon meringue was more like a lemon cheesecake, which wasn't what I expected. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

One of the best places to eat along the waterfront, death by chocolate is so delicious & also there white hot chocolates. Great service & Atmosphere.

Has been a go to place for a long time though hours of opening are shorter than previously. Food great ,staff pleasant but why would they start mopping floors over an hour and a half before they close. I have watched many people wanting to sit on the couches inside the front of the cafe only to be told the area is closed off. This never happened under the previous proprietor. Some of these people have left the cafe so loss of business

First time trying coffee from here, not only was it extremely disappointing, lukewarm and 0 taste of coffee just syrup and warm milk, but the service was appalling. We waited for 5 minutes and staff kept staring at us without acknowledging our presence until we had to go closer to the counter, where the lady at the front let another customer cut in front of us to take her order, and left the counter once the other customer had placed her order. We had to wait for another staff member to come take our order, no apology given for wasting our time. I had one sip of the coffee then chucked it in the bin. Never coming back. Teach your staff better customer service skills.

Not many gfree option , and gfree brownie in top cabinet next to rocky road muffin crumbs everywhere . So that's cross contamination and they meant to be separately sealed or own shelf. Owner is a chef and should know this, the fact that he does not left me questionable about ordering other gfree item that come cooked from kitchen . Coffee was good

We had our engagement party here last night and it was amazing! Great location, amazing views, indoor and outdoor areas. Grazing platters and pizzas (with gluten free options) were excellent. Thank you again!

Had a wonderful family lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Everything was fantastic, staff were great, food was great, lovely atmosphere. But my one criticism: in no universe is an almond croissant worth $13. Everything else was reasonably priced. It’s the most expensive almond croissant I ever came across. $8.50 max in a full service restaurant situation. Otherwise, a lovely place!

This place is incredible. Went for a mates birthday to their 4th July dinner special. One of the dinner I have had out. The brisket was perfectly cooked. Best I’ve had. But to top it off was the service. Couldn’t get better. Friendly and personable. They worked hard and went above and beyond.

I love this cafe - great food - value for money - great service. We drive all the way from Geelong and it is worth the drive. This cafe is credit to the workers and owner. Well done!

Beautiful surroundings especially if you prefer dining outdoor. We arrived around 11.30am and lunch menu wasn't ready to be served, so I ordered an egg omelette along with cappuccino. I would prefer my omelette to be moist and fluffy.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, absolutely fantastic service. I had the beef burger, which was one of the best I have had in Melbourne. The tropical smoothie was to die for! Coffee was excellent as well, and the brownies were scrumptious.

Once our favourite cafe, however today our order went missing and staff explained they’re having issues printing order dockets. Staff were aware of the printing issue, yet didn’t mitigate the risk of losing orders. Unfortunately we had to ask 3 staff about our orders before receiving a response. Waited well over an hour for meals. Drinks were finished well before meals arrived. No offer provided of additional drinks. Had to ask for water. Unfortunately the cannelloni was reheated within an inch of its life and was extremely dry. The steak sandwich was unfortunately full of fat and tough; like it was broiled. Not edible. The egg and bacon were ok to eat. Unfortunately only took a picture as we were leaving. Feedback was provided kindly to staff. However no apology was received. Very disappointed.

The food is delicious but the waiting time is crazy on the weekend. Probably shouldn’t go there when you’re hungry. Well. Still worth to visit.

Plenty of tables inside or outside, high chairs available, plenty of parking near by. Yum simple foods. Good brunch spot, friendly staff, bathroom has a change table. The only downfall I found was that you have to order at the counter which isn't ideal with a baby/children.

Great food, some wonderful coffee and they allow dogs outside which is amazing! Staff were really friendly and helpful and there were plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Very glad we had breakfast here and there were plenty of options on the menu!

15 ladies had a wonderful lunch on a Saturday in the outdoor covered area. The staff were fantastic and orders were filled promptly. The portion sizes were large and the food was delicious. Thank you for hosting our large group.

Great food, although their chicken Parma needs work. Great chips and a salad. Highly recommend you have anything from their all-day breakfast menu. It’s all fresh and they cook the eggs to perfection

Excellent coffee, juicy burgers, great atmosphere, and accommodating staff. I had the Date Shake - if you don't mind coconut pieces in the shake, this was absolutely beautiful.

During the week this place is always busy - thought we try it. Cafe was mostly empty (9am) but service was a left wanting. (Told to take any table [menus pre-placed on all tables] & left alone with staff enjoying each others company rather than tending to us - to the point where we were about to get up & leave) We ordered - the coffee was actually really good and our food was a ok. The baked eggs were a good size portion & first thought was it needed more toast to utilise the sauce but it lacked depth of flavour, it wasn’t quite a Sugo more like straight tin tomato & was quite watery. The fritters looked very pretty though the fritters were a little dry & had no seasoning and the eggs should usually ooze yolk over to enrich but mine were more medium Expecting more…

normally love this place but was disappointed today, there was a dead bug in my drink and i ordered the duo tacos that comes with sweet potato fries. upon ordering i requested to get plain fries instead of sweet potato, the waitress said she will ask the kitchen and let me know. about 20 minutes later, my food came with the sweet potato fries and no mention of the change, i asked if i could get them changed but she said “the kitchen did the sweet potato fries anyway”, i then mentioned to her and the manager (who was there too) that i asked when i ordered. a while later, i then got plain fries from the kitchen (i don’t think the waitress had asked in the first place!). however the waitress was apologetic and said she “forgot” to tell the kitchen (again, i don’t think she did) but hey ho i got my order eventually and she was apologetic and nice about it! i also think she was new and i understand new jobs can be confusing! bless her.

Absolutely loved the breakfast here. It was a very busy Saturday morning when we visited but the service was still quite quick. I had the pancakes and my partner ordered the fritters - both of which were yummy! The coffee was perfect and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back :)

Stumbled upon this place, and absolutely loved the brekky! Ordered " the mash" and they have elevated the simple avocado mash with peas + feta cheese (good quality)+ smoked bacon (lovely smokey good quality bacon) + egg + pesto and a crusty sour dough. Just beautiful combination! Definitely coming back to stock up some good pesto and bacon!

We visited The Olive Pit in Ocean Grove just before 1:30 pm in late December, and the deli was pretty much empty, which meant there wasn’t much to choose from for lunch. We settled for a croissant and a toasty — both were decent but average, nothing extraordinary. On a brighter note, they do sell some local goods, which is a nice touch, as well as novelty chocolates like a large bullet and chocolate freckle for $1 each. Fun little treats for those with a sweet tooth! There’s also self-serve water, though it’s room temperature, which didn’t quite hit the mark on a warm day.

Friendly helpful staff, coeliac friendly!!! Seperate fryer for fish n’ chips + calamari. All baked cooked separate in pastry window. Gluten free heaven. Delicious

One of the best breakfast cafes on the terrace. Coffee nice and hot, Egg on toast and Smash were tasty and perfect. Friendly staff. Recommend this as a must if in Ocean Grove.

I took my son in for a hot chocolate and I whispered our order and asked for a warm water as I had lost my voice. The lovely young blond girl serving brought out our order and gave me a little dish of honey for my throat. Lovely thoughtful assistant. Thank you

Really delicious food served here. A very tasty Reuben toastie and hamburger hit the spot. Best orange juice I’ve had in ages and great hot chocolate. Lovely feel inside the cafe. Very friendly staff/owners made us feel welcome.

Coffee was great. Poached eggs perfect but would have liked two slices of sourdough bread and not very big. Bacon was strange. Flavour was not nice and had a sausage/salami type of flavour. Small serve for $22.

Love this place, they have a great selection of gluten free food on the menu too. Huge beverage list, very impressive. Staff is lovely and attentive. Definitely worth the drive from Melbourne for our Sunday lunch.

Nice little cafe. Coffee was good. Breakfast was tasty. Really liked their bacon. I prefer it to the busier cafe across the road, although I did have to try to catch someone’s attention to order another coffee. Staff walked past me 6 or 7 times without any sort of acknowledgment and eventually I managed to catch the eye of a wandering staff person and got my coffee. Overall though the food is good. Slightly let down by way too much basil oil poured all over an already rich breakfast.

Had 2 meals, the ginger and prawn dumplings were delightful, the Dahl was very average and there was no yoghurt, raita or papadums to break it up and it was $16. Overpriced. Also it was not a Dahl but more of a vegetable curry. I thought the wine was nice but expensive at 14 dollars a glass.

Cute place. Good Service. Good coffee. Meals were good. There are a few too many fried food options, but it is definitely worth a visit.
