If I could give it 10 stars I would. Such a moody atmospheric sexy place where cocktails are an event! Try the Board walk Empress or the Edison for amazing drinks with imagination and their Margarita was one of the best I've had anywhere.

Dropped in or rather climbed up for pre-dinner cocktails at 18th Amendment. Loved the dark cosy atmosphere of leather banquettes, booths, dark wood and pressed metal. Fantastic range of specialty cocktails - we tried a Southside Syndicate and a Boardwalk Empress. A great place for a drink and a chat.

The 18th Amendment is a Chicago prohibition themed, speakeasy cocktail bar now with two locations. They combine elegance with innovation, providing not only exciting and beautiful cocktails, but they taste incredible too. 🍸 Initially only intending to come for a drink or two, my friend and I ended up staying for hours, trying almost every cocktail on the menu. There are about 4 with special effects, I appreciated this concept, it really was a lot of fun. 🪄 The service from start to end was exceptional, happily offering to tailor make something or recommend a cocktail to your taste. If for whatever reason you don’t like it, they will replace it with something else. They would rather have you enjoy your drink than sit there with one you don’t like because honestly, is there anything worse? On a Wednesday we were quite shocked with how busy it was! Loved the music too, a lot of popular songs covered to make it sound like the 20’s. An absolute vibe, well done. 🎶

Visited for the first time on the weekend and was impressed. The wide selection of drinks is amazing and the staff were excellent, attentive and constantly filled up our water glasses and offered assistance with drink selections. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

A must go when in Geelong! What an awesome concept. The interior of the bar is just so gorgeous, every detail is perfect for the era. We loved the music covers playing in the background, just such a cool atmosphere. Service fabulous, cocktails incredible!

Fabulous night out celebrating a friend's birthday. The pianist was incredible and rocked the place for hours!! Bar service was slow due to the place being packed. Order nibbles which were very tasty. Pizzas that were not cooked on site were a bit burnt. By the end of the night they were all demolished due to hungry punters!! Happily go back and take more friends.

We had an amazing night on Saturday night at Geelong Piano Bar. Took my mum Pat in a wheel chair and could not have had a better experience. Thank you Andy for making her feel so special, dedicating songs and coming over to chat and have a photo. Seriously great night. She loved it!

I must pinch myself for not going sooner. As soon as we got to the door we where greeted and seated. We ordered some pizza and chips and the food was fantastic. Cocktails delicious and hit the spot. And the performances where spectacular the night we went. Great energy at this bar. Friendly staff, and very clean. Will be going back again

A fabulous night out. The piano guy, Dave, was very impressive with the range of songs he could play and sing, the shows were amazing, and the atmosphere was great. The pizza I had was delicious and the drinks weren't too expensive. The only downside is that the toilets were upstairs and one of four ladies' ones was out of order. But overall a great place to spent a night with friends. Highly recommend.

Visited for an event, the place was well laid out for people to move around. Food was a bit salty but tasted good otherwise and the drinks were moderately priced.

I spent a pleasant hour on this wine bar last night. The wine list offered variety and interest and the service was good. There was a great vibe in the bar despite it being late on a Sunday evening. Recommend a visit if in Geelong.

My husband and I visited last weekend while briefly in town and were impressed with the selection and breath of almost exclusively local wines. Being a short stay in Geelong, it allowed us to try something we never would have otherwise. The fit out was lovely and really enjoyed the carafe serving option for the wine. Thank you especially to the male staff member who recommended the Bennetts Chardonnay when we said we liked the more buttery/complex Chardonnays - we are currently drinking it from Adelaide and really enjoying it! Glad to have stumbled across this lovely wine bar.

We had 3 bottles of wine over 2 hours from 4 to 6 pm. The service was good. The wine was very good. It wasn't super crowded and we could hear each other talk. All good!

Came down to Geelong from Brisbane to visit family. Had a great catch up withem here. It is a great place to meet and have a few drinks. Staff were very attentive. Will definitely go back next time I'm down.

Great little wine bar in Geelong. Came here for lunch to graze on some cold cuts, cheese and to sip on some wine. Atmosphere was great, sitting outside watching the world go by. Went here for girl's night out. The vibe of this place is amazing. There were drink rounds going and we totally enjoyed the margaritas here. The mocktails were super duper delicious too. For my mains I ordered spiced cauliflower salad which was good but I won't order again. The staff was amazing . Will definitely go here again to try out some more stuff on their menu.

Went to venue with a couple of mates. We had some appetizers, the springs rolls were yummy and the pizza. The wings were a bit chewy should have been cooked a bit more. For Main I had the steak, the steak was like rubber, came with 2 small baked potato' s and some strings beans. The veggies were flavour less should have been cooked in butter and garlic. Overall the dish was a joke and for $49 dollars do not recommend at all. On the hand the burger was delicious. The drinks were very good as well.

This Geelong restaurant is a really cosy gem with a wonderful, intimate atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic date or a personal birthday because the acoustics are fantastic—you can actually hold a conversation without fighting the surrounding noise or echo. The food was excellent, and the service sealed the deal. The personnel were warm, welcoming, and communicative, made us feel amazing.

I was really disappointed with our visit. The salmon that was served was undercooked, which raised serious food safety concerns. On top of that, when ordering from the kids’ menu, we found a mosquito sitting on the tomato — absolutely unacceptable in terms of hygiene. We expected a family-friendly dining experience, but instead left feeling let down. The setting is nice, but the food preparation and quality control need urgent improvement.

A lovely evening out. Service was very good….shout out to Chloe for her care and attention…sat in a great spot with a view of the bay. Drinks were quick…cocktails well made (bartender on the night was friendly and generous with his time…thanks). Food came out quickly and was tasty. Atmosphere was mellow and pleasant. A decent outing…with great views. Worth going for a night out.

We waited almost two hours for our four meals and when we finally got them, all four meals were average at best. Admittedly we were given free drinks to apologise, but these came long after the two hour wait, in which time, nobody advised us as to what was going on. It was also pretty cold in the dining area. They said they suddenly had an influx of food orders - yeah that might have been because it was lunch time.

$13 schooners upstairs. Irish stew was delicious, Guinness was atrocious and the chicken salad had anchovies. Stick to the stew and the beer and get your pints downstairs. Other than that decent spot.

Came for dinner tonight after finding out you were closed on Monday No one greeted us on entering, had to get our own table and menus (no sign to say wait to be seated or anything) Table was sticky, as pulling chair into table, was sticky under the chair, no one around to ask to clean table. Ordered At 6.50pm, to be told, run out of Beef & Guinness Pie (suppose to be best seller, so why not have enough) Ordered something else, came out wrong, had salad instead of mushy peas, then came back with cold fish & chips with so called mushy peas and garden veggies (certainly not an Irish Pub if you can’t make mushy peas) Definitely not mushy peas, these were frozen peas cooked and mashed, disgusting Very disappointing, eat what was okay and left, no one asked us why we were leaving because once again, no one around Would not recommend to anyone

WOW! Thank you to the Murphy's incredible team my husband had an epic 40th birthday. I highly recommend this venue for special events. The food was delicious and organisation was easy and stress free. The venue is beautiful as well. My guests have all told me today how wonderful the venue was.

Great atmosphere. Good spot for dinner after the Geelong game. Food came out reasonably quickly and was piping hot and a decent serve. They have veggo dishes on the menu. Will stop in again next time in Geelong for the game.

I recently had the chance to try the Outback Parma at Murphy's, and I have to say, while it tasted good and was well-cooked, there was a distinct feeling of disappointment lurking underneath the surface. As a seasoned Parmi reviewer, it was hard to ignore the obvious resemblance to the famous Outback Parma from The Little River pub. It felt like a cheap attempt to snag a bit of that signature charm, and I wasn’t impressed. Now, let’s talk about the price. At $32, I expected something a bit more generous. Instead, what I got felt more like a snack than a full meal—definitely not what I would call a great value for money. I’m being generous with a 5/10 rating, and honestly, that's me being kind. As pictured it came with Onion Rings, chips and salad On a brighter note, the atmosphere at Murphy's had its ups and downs. The place was bustling with mostly couples in their 30s and 40s, giving it a lively vibe. However, I did have to navigate around some particularly loud local patrons who seemed to think they owned the place. A couple of gentle nudges to get by could be a sign that it might thrive on a busy Saturday night, but those boisterous moments certainly took away from the overall experience. In summary, while Murphy's has potential and a nice setting, they really need to step up their game with their Outback Parma if they want to compete with the best. It makes you appreciate the original even more.

Outstanding food and service. Apparently a drag show upstairs but in the restaurant it was quiet, family friendly and the food absolutely delicious. Swordfish was fresh and although a small serving, totally yummy. Braised beef cheeks were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, as was the fish curry which was also a nice, generous portion. Dessert was dairy-free coconut pannacotta that looked amazing. The wine was perfectly paired by our delightful host, and was a standout. Congratulations to the chef and front of house team, you made our night awesome.

My partner and I ate here a couple of weeks ago, the food is delicious. We tried most of the shared plate dishes and enjoyed them all. The chicken melted in your mouth, kfc has nothing on this chicken. The staff are absolutely fantastic and friendly and make you feel welcome from the time you walk in. We loved the atmosphere too. It’s a great place for a feed or just a few drinks with friends before the footy or just to chill.

A fantastic array of share plates, sides and desserts. Each meal was beautifully presented with plenty of flavour and freshness. The highlights were the baked Brie, pear salad and beef cheeks. The warm brownie for dessert was sensational. Staff were very friendly, helpful, offered plenty of advice and were happy to help. For the service, quality and flavour the price point is very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

We visited Recess Bar this week and fantastic food quality and options. As a coeliac the food was safe and very well cooked. My husband isn’t coeliac and enjoyed it too. Great atmosphere, cosy and great service. Great food too and delicious

A few friends and I caught up at Recess Bar & Eats on a Saturday night — it was buzzing with people, so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead! The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious...we tried multiple of the share plates and loved eveey bite!! Everything is completely gluten-free — a total coeliac’s heaven! So nice to enjoy a meal out without any worries. Can’t wait to go back!

There were some wonderful moments at the Sawyers Arms, & some not so wonderful. My husband & I had not been here, so on reading the reviews we decided to book in. The service from the 2 young staff members was just perfect. My husband ordered the calamari, main size, & I ordered the Parma. We shared my not-so-hot chips (I love hot chips). The Parma was a decent size, so I shared that too. I think it was the noise in the area where we were seated that really made our night less than a pleasant experience. Our waiter was more than happy to move us to a quieter area to finish our drinks.

10 stars if I could. The food is of a very high standard - think semi-fine dining and the service is exemplary. A budget Morton’s? I barely ever eat steak out but this is one of the few instances that I did not regret it. One thing to note is that Australia tends to cook its beef a little too well - their rare is a medium rare to Europeans and Asians. Once you understand that it’s much easier to order steak. I ordered my scotch rare and it was a perfect medium rare! Fries are deep golden and crispy, Brussel sprouts are probably the only way I’ll ever eat them anymore. The food is just brilliant. Please give them a try!

A comfortable charming local hotel. Great service from many young hosts. A menu with the traditional and inspirational. Mushroom & pea arancini entree had a great crunch. Crumbed brains made one guest very happy. A thick fillet made the chicken Parma a winner and the lamb ragu pappardelle got the delicious tick. An extensive wine list needs a study and many suit a higher budget, with wine by the glass selection including quality options. An affogato to finish a most delightful lunch.

An old favourite of the family but I'd not been back myself for some time. It was the perfect venue for a goodbye dinner with parents and sister before departing abroad for some months. Lovely atmosphere in the front dining room. We had scotch fillet, duck confit, scallops and barramundi and all were excellent - also some yummy desserts.

I haven’t been in Sawyers Arms since 1985 so needless to say I was truly impressed when I stopped by to see if we could get some lunch to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. There are not many places that show generous open arms when you are looking for a 2pm weekday lunch - but their team outdid themselves with their service, welcome, food and drinks. My nephew and I both chose the Beef cheek which was tender and delicious and then we tried the crème brûlée and home made ice-cream with decadent chocolate praline. Excellent coffee and a little fudge treat to go with it - why other places don’t do this post a lovely meal is beyond me - even though I know everything costs. The waiters were attentive and the room cosy - I noticed a large table of women sitting in front of the fire having the best time and although we got there late in the service there was no rush to have us gone. An excellent place to celebrate special and usual events for sure!

Beautiful place for a drink or dinner. I very much enjoyed the steak and onions, it was soft and not chewy. The chips were freshly cooked and well-seasoned. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they do not make you feel pressured into ordering or leaving. They do check up on you if you are enjoying the food for any feedback.

Great location just across the beach, making it a perfect spot for a meal with a view. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's pet-friendly—an added bonus for those dining with furry companions. Heaters are available during colder weather, keeping the outdoor area warm and cozy. The menu has a great selection of food and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood platter—generous portions and incredibly fresh seafood. I was pleasantly surprised tonight with our dinner here. The food is excellent and the staff are even better. If you like pork belly make sure to get the pork belly bites I've never had more tender pork belly it literally melts in your mouth! Will definitely be back.

Extremely Disappointing “Steak” Ordered a medium-rare steak, but what arrived was three thin, dry slices of overcooked meat — absolutely well-done, no pink in sight. For a place that advertises quality, this was closer to reheated roast beef than an actual steak. The presentation was sloppy, and the texture tough and chewy. Definitely not what I expected for the price. (39$) If this is how they serve steak, I’d recommend avoiding it altogether.

I cannot thank Enrico and Ella enough for hosting my friend’s hens at sailors! It was such an incredible 3 hours with cocktail making (with lots of laughs and fun), food and an amazing atmosphere! The Hen was beyond happy! Would definitely recommend to everyone to host an event at sailors!

Had dinner here last week for a casual date with a friend. Food was okay and the service was good, but overall, the dishes felt a bit overpriced for what you get, not particularly special. It’s a nice place to try once, but not somewhere I’d go regularly.

Little Creatures Brewery is a fantastic spot to visit, especially if you have kids in tow. They’ve got a small playground and some fun games to keep the little ones entertained while you enjoy a fresh beer straight from the source. The industrial-style atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a unique and lively place to hang out. While the food isn’t the highlight, the overall experience—being right next to the brewery and soaking in the laid-back vibes—definitely makes up for it. Worth a visit for the drinks and atmosphere alone!

We have been before to buy drinks however this is our first time dining here. Service was quick, food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The burger was really good and fresh, same as the flake. Only downside was the marg pizzas, the sauce they used was lacking flavour and the pizzas were quite dry. However we would definitely come back if we are in the area

Went here for drinks and dinner with friends.. The ambience of this place was good. We ordered few pizzas which were so so delicious. The service was super quick. The Arancini's portion was a bit small but overall it was delicious. Also the brownie with icecream is a MUST try. So good. Although I wasn't happy with the drinks menu that was available for that night. Obviously the variety of Beer was fantastic but there wasn't alot of variety in cocktails, mocktails or Wines. The kids area here was fantastic too. And the staff was wonderful.

My usual go to for a relaxing drive, drink a little bit and make my way home. No dramas, family time. The food is good, but the brews are astronomical. Love the lamb pizza with the dark ale.

The staff were extremely accommodating to our large group for a milestone birthday party! They gave us plenty of space to mingle and enjoy the night! The service was attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food came out very promptly for the whole table and was of excellent quality!

We recently did the Little Creatures brewery tour and it ended up just being myself and my husband. Even though it was just us it wasn’t awkward as our guide Emily made it a fantastic experience. She was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, and explained the brewing process in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. What stood out most was how comfortable she made us feel despite being the only ones on it. She didn’t rush through anything, and she took the time to answer all of our questions with real passion for what she does. I’m not a beer drinker myself, but Emily still made the tour really interesting and enjoyable. At the end she even went out of her way to swap my tasting for a cider so I could join in and feel included, which I really appreciated. Overall, Emily’s professionalism and enthusiasm made the whole experience a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend the tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Emily as your guide, you’ll be in great hands!

Since the rebrand we’ve been hanging to head back to Tulip, and it didn’t disappoint. Our group of four had the chef’s selection, and we had one plant based requirement on the table ( 🙋‍♀️ guilty ), to which they catered beautifully. The food was fresh, flavourful and the service warm and welcoming. They were super busy ( which we love seeing in our local community! ) so would recommend booking ahead. Stand out for the plant based dishes was the cauliflower with harissa and the iceberg wedge whilst the rest of the table loved the kingfish with shiso, lemon and ginger and the Black Angus with hot miso mustard. We had a gorgeous night and really enjoyed our time 💫 10/10 recommend for a wholesome evening.

My partner and I had the degustation menu with wine matching. We also went for the Wagyu upgrade and extra Truffle. Everything is delicious and loved every bit of it. The wine is nicely paired and it’s easy to drink. The service is immaculate! Special mention to the two young ladies serving us, A big thank you!

We had a fantastic meal at Tulip last night. I ordered the degustation menu with wine pairing so that I wouldn’t have to think too hard about what to order. They nailed the food. Every dish was small but packed with flavour. My favourite was the lamb which was delicate and tender with a delicious smokey lamby flavour. The chicken fat butter that accompanied the bread deserves a mention too. I’d like to bottle it and take it home. The paired wines and beer were perfect. I requested to have only local makers and they delivered perfectly matched wines throughout the meal. The service was excellent. We were served by a few different staff members who all spent time to talk to us about what we were eating, drinking or anything else we asked. They were not rushed and didn’t interrupt our conversation. The final note was the venue itself. The entry from outside is through a gorgeous courtyard the looks like an Italian villa inclusive of a water fountain. Inside is a lovely space with wooden furniture and an open kitchen full of fire and food. We will definitely return.

Highly recommend! Tonight when we dined, the chef served the first dish - tomato juice (it was clear, the process to create is very intricate). Seasonal, fresh produce served over 6 courses ($100 p.p.). My favourite dish: the lamb loin with crunchy potatos and bitter leaf salad. Friendly staff, beautiful restaurant, relaxing atmosphere. The water fountain outside the restaurant is beautiful.

Had a perfect dinner for our anniversary ! I can't express how perfect our anniversary dinner was at this restaurant! The meal was an absolute delight, incredibly delicious. The highlight was the warm welcome from the head chef, who took the time to introduce the various styles of food being served. It made us feel truly appreciated and added a special touch to the evening.

We’ve dined at the restaurant on a number of occasions and continued to be wowed by the beautiful tasty and well presented meals, wines,, setting and atmosphere. It’s always a pleasure being greeted by Dan and the staff. The parking is also stress free. The restaurant is highly recommended.

First time dining here. Fantastic! Friday night burger night - all $24. Absolutely HUGE! even the standard cheeseburger. Nice patty, but some might find it too thick to eat with hands. Aussie burger with the lot is ridiculously big, but so tasty and full of deliciousness! Will definitely go back. Other special nights as well. We want ti try the desserts, too.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. This is a PROPER old school, pub. We made our way to Geelong this evening just to have a great meal here again. It’s a Tuesday evening and the place is pumping. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming, the food consistently reliable. Everyone is happy. The staff are amazing. The food again, great. Most importantly- and mark my words as this is a big call- they have THE BEST condiments station in Victoria, hands down! Whoever is responsible for this amazing little touch is a genius. Cudos to you, unsung hero! I just love coming back here. It grounds me. Please, never change a thing.

Edited april 25' Barramundi, eggplant parmi and entree of calamari. Delicious calamari, generous portions and parmi was really nice with roadted red peppers in the sauce. Love the flexibility of swapping salad and chips to veggies or mash etc. Decent prices, really great service from staff today, even asking the chef to purposely overcook one of the steam veggies for my dining partner with braces. Good variety of chilli sauces to compliment your meal. Good food, good prices. The onion rings and salt n pepper squid starters were great. Standout from the mains were the cheeseburger and the grilled barramundi. Inside pub area a bit bland, and I can tell it'd get tight once busy but was quiet on the 29th dec for a late lunch. Menu has an option for everyone, great variety and they seem to do different specials on various days. I also appreciated their condiments station so you can freely grab whatever you need and great idea on the games that you can use at the tables. The only sour was the blonde female bartenders response and attitude when I brought my shiraz back and advised it smelt flat (just smelt really wrong). She checked the bottle and came back to advise it had just been opened, don't know why as it didn't change the fact that there was something wrong with it (for reference I ordered a glass only and only a few tiny sips had been had). She didn't want to smell it as she advised she doesn't drink wine. I ended up asking for something else, anything else. I got their house red instead and it was fine. Her attitude by way of facial expression and tone etc showed she was not impressed while I thought better to raise it then than complain to myself and then go and leave a review without being fair and providing the opportunity for it to be rectified. I forget not everyone appreciates this. I was overly friendly and showed my appreciation but she was dryer than burnt toast, no smile, nothing.

I booked lunch here as they supposedly have one of the best chicken parmigianas in Geelong. Sadly the chicken breast was a bit dry, nice flavour though and could have been hotter. Yorkshire pudding looked amazing coming out on top of the roast beef so l ordered one as a side with gravy $5 plus $3 for the tiny bowl of gravy sadly the Yorkshire pudding was cold. My Mother enjoyed the fish & chips.

Staff were super friendly and the service was top notch. Food was Delicious Good size serves Great Taste If you have a roast the Yorkshire Pudding is a must. The interior of this venue has to be seen. Whoever decorated here has done an excellent job. We had a larger group of people, and all were completely satisfied with the meals. Will come back.

Well! This had become our local and we LOVE it! Exceptional service, great food, great atmosphere! Even when we popped in an hour and a half before our reservation last night they accommodated us with a table so I could make it back in time for an emergency surgery I was waiting on theatre to be ready for. Outstanding flexibility and still the same exceptional food and service Their steak night is amazing and some of the best dump we have had We will be back frequently!

Great spot, old school style pub in the main area with an outdoor covered extension, they have live music outside at specific times. Decent menu options with cheap deals through the week. Rib eye steak meal is great value on a Wednesday or Friday for around $35, with chips, salad and a sauce. Some funny quirky/provocative photos inside. Park across the road is a welcome amenity for those with kids.

The Eureka Hotel is absolutely hitting the mark for a modern pub experience in Geelong. It manages to feel classic and fresh at the same time, with a super clean and welcoming bar area. What stood out most was the food. We ordered the mexican parma and it was fantastic! There were a few parmas to choose from. It was beautifully presented, generously topped with fresh ingredients like avocado and sour cream, and came with perfectly crispy fries and a fresh side salad. This is pub food done right, with quality and presentation that elevates it. This pub is vibrant and well-equipped. It's clear they focus on great beer, with plenty of taps available, including local favourites like Furphy. The exposed brick and clean setup give it a great atmosphere for a casual drink or a big night out. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a reliably good meal, cold beer, and a lively atmosphere in central Geelong, the Eureka is highly recommended.

Great food; I had the fried chicken burger and it was super crunchy and soft on the inside. Side of chips was great. Others had the Parma and said it was good with a fresh salad. Only suggestion is the venue was super cold because the doors were open to other spaces 🥶

One of the greatest bartenders to ever touch the beer tap. Max went above and beyond delivering breathtaking service (whilst also a bit of cheeky attitude) putting together a fantastic night! The Irish Lass Maddy was excellent as-well.

Date night out for dinner. I had the lamb salad which was amazing, great flavours but a little small on serving size for the price. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection but kitchen forgot his chips. Would return again.

Friday night dinner - well taken care of despite not having a booking. Walked in to a warm and inviting setting, murmuring sounds of patrons but not over loud, everyone looked to be having a good time. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, sat us at a table and provided menus and instructions. Drink and food choices were many and varied enough to suit most palates. Our orders came quickly and were delicious. Wine was good, cocktails good, food generous and tasty. If you’re looking for pub grub and setting, this place will do it for you.

Arrived late on a Thursday evening as the kitchen was closing but they still made us a Vegetarian Parmi and Spiced Crispy Cauliflower. We were half expecting an eggplant parmi but to our delight it was more like a crumbed veggie patty and was absolutely delicious!! The spiced crispy cauliflower was also really tasty. Maddy behind the bar who served us and checked in with us was also wonderful. She had service with a smile!

Absolutely FABULOUS. From being greeted and seated, the Eureka is certainly a must visit if you want pub food, but something more by way of service. The staff were friendly, attentive and really made it a pleasant evening and the food was fabulous in taste and presentation! Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere was perfect — we sat by the window, and it was lovely and cosy. Presentation was a 10/10, with every dish beautifully plated. However, the food itself was fairly average, which was disappointing given how stunning everything looked. The fish was a standout for me, with a unique recipe I hadn’t tried before. The strip loin, on the other hand, was a bit tough, and the pepper horseradish sauce overpowered the natural beef flavours when it should have complemented them. That said, I would visit again because the restaurant is simply gorgeous.

The ambiance and aesthetics at The Arborist Geelong are breathtaking. The tree running through the middle of the actual building, just stunning! It’s worth the visit just to see the aesthetic vibe of the place. Even the bathrooms have subtle hints of nature. The gentle sounds of the forest playing in the background while washing your hands adds a sense of calm and relaxation. The service was good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food is visually appealing; very pretty pieces of art. But, the flavours, don’t quite meet the mark. Sometimes less really is more. The halloumi was cooked well but doused in apricots, hazelnuts and sauce. As someone who grew up eating halloumi and a Mediterranean diet, it really needs to be toned down. Subtle hints of apricot or figs with halloumi, sure! Dousing the whole thing with apricots and sauce, no thanks. The hazelnuts used throughout a few of the dishes were premium - loved them. The olives were average. The potato croquettes were nice and crispy. The focaccia and cultured butter were 10/10. The hummus didn’t meet my expectations… it lacked the typical flavours of lemon, garlic, and most importantly, olive oil. It was also doused in saffron, which, although an expensive ingredient, has no place in Middle Eastern hummus. Too many pine nuts on top too - less is definitely more when the right blend of flavours are there. The oysters were fresh (as expected, being so close to the sea). The broccolini was tasty and crisp, the potatoes golden and crispy. The ricotta, mushroom, and truffle “dumplings” were more like gnocchi but were lacking in flavour, with the truffle overpowering the dish. The slow-cooked lamb was surprisingly very rare. The anchovies along with the sage probably weren’t the best choice of flavours to pair with a lamb dish. The fish lacked basic seasoning, and the sauce was overpoweringly sweet. To top it off, the chicken was undercooked. We told the waitress there was a raw section, which she verbally confirmed by saying “yes, that doesn’t look cooked at all”, and politely offered to take it back to the kitchen. The chef then sent her back to tell us that the technique used ensured it was cooked, it just looked red and raw near the bone. We could clearly see otherwise; it was undercooked. Charcotabs definitely came to the rescue post-meal. Definitely worth visiting The Arborist Geelong for the lovely view and aesthetics - maybe just for a couple of drinks. I would’ve much preferred to see some Australian dishes (even a modern take on a classic pie) rather than mock Middle Eastern and knock-off Mediterranean dishes.

My order for one: Oysters - Champaign, Hibiscus Granita x2 Bass Strait Scallops, Kimchi, Burnt Butter x2 Baharat Lamb Shoulder, Caramelised Yoghurt Spiced Pumpkin, Honey, Ras El Hanout, Almond Whipped Cheesecake, Rhubarb, Shortbread The only thing I can think would be better is that the rhubarb on the desert would have had more "typical" flavour had it been stewed instead of the diced version. It wasn't as tasty. But hey, thats just me and really the entire experience was delightful. Very nice touch putting reheating warning and instructions on the doggy bag!

Definitely one of the best service I’ve received in Melbourne recently. A beautiful botanical themed eatery + rooftop located at the heard of Geelong CBD. We turned up 1 hr before our booking and staff was accomodating. All dish was cruated with packed favours and interesting favour. Potato croquettes and lamp backstrip being the highlight. Duck crown and cod roe were well-executed. Beef skewers was bit dry and only drawback. All staff were very friendly greeted us from beginning to finish, and ask if we’re finished before taking plates away (yes it appears to be common sense but disregarded by many now). That’s what I’ll call hospitality. Overall we had a lovely night dining at this place and if I’m ever back to Geelong will keen to explore their rooftop on a sunny day too!

Tucked away in a laneway st in the middle of the city of Geelong is this gem. Exterior and interior decor is very modern and nice clean look. As I walked in the front door, I wasn’t acknowledged by the manager or owner. Swiftly, a young lady appears with a big smile to escort me to a table that I booked earlier. She advised the options and specials and politely offered her option if I ordered too much or too little. Ordered the lamb backstrap with anchovies, capers, sage and harrisa. Along with a side of spiced pumpkin on a bed of hummus like dip sprinkled with ras el hanout, roasted almond flake strips with hint of honey sweetness. Exceptional and well balanced culinary cuisine. Lamb was seared to perfection, the texture and tenderness was exquisite with the matching condiments. The pumpkin was no exception. Main large portions are very generous and I look forward to coming back to try other options. The chef and service staff has my 5 star rating.

Hosted my 21st on level 1 & I had the most amazing night! I had to find a new venue 3 weeks out and the staff were so incredibly helpful! On the night they made sure everything was going smoothly and took such good care of me (even though they had other functions on that night) I couldn’t have asked for a better place to hold my 21st! We recently used the National Hotel to celebrate the end of the financial year with a staff function, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We booked the second-floor dining area/function room, which was the perfect space for our event. From start to finish, the communication was excellent. Liz was incredibly helpful in the planning stages—friendly, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. On the night, Mat was amazing and made sure everything ran perfectly. The function itself was flawless. The meals were fantastic—generous portions, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all. The staff were so attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout the evening. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend the National Hotel for any group event or celebration!

Building and upstairs patio were phenomenal. People were really nice. Food was pretty average - burger / chips and parmi / chips. Best part was a little salad on our plates we were not expecting.

Great pub. Thursday night steak night was a bargain and a really decent piece of steak. Barkeep is a legend, she happily changed TV stations for out of town family to watch NRL, as well as quality banter from her keeping my old man in line!

The food is AMAZING, one of the best meals I've had in Geelong. The porchetta is incredible. Their selection of beers is really impressive, and seeing so many local, Little Creature beers on tap is great. I really liked that you could get a tasting paddle to try the different beers, too. The furniture is very comfortable and in great condition, plenty of big screens around to watch the footy as well. Definitely check it out!

Great pub! Lots on offer, the bar area is generous in size with a great list of brews, you’ll be sure to try a few! Dining was great. Food was great and the table service was friendly and helpful.

We were walking home thinking about dinner, and pizza was the winner, well that was until we looked through the window and saw this delightful inviting roast pork. Well pizza was thrown out the window and in we floated from the delicious smell. Well the Malt Shovel Taphouse was wonderfully decorated with a well displayed bar that said welcome to my selection, we were sat down and ordered a platter for two of roast, pork, lamb and chicken to which we ordered steam broccoli with a local beer. Well, the platter came, and I'm sorry to say it was out of this world in tenderness and favour. The dish included a delightful coleslaw, I have honestly never had such a delicious coleslaw. The staff, were a delight and friendly but on the ball with service, not just us but everyone around and not a table left unattended. I can truly recommend coming here and just letting your day disappear into this wonderful place.

Meals were huge, on the pricey side but for what you got it sort of made up for it. Sort of. Friendly staff! Kid friendly. We got the Parma and the open lamb and toddler got chicken nuggets. Visiting from the peninsula and would visit again.

Great service!! The workers were kind and had a few laughs with our table which made the experience all the more comfortable. The food had huge portions for basically the same price as other restaurants, so more food for the same price. The way the whole restaurant was decorated aswell was so home-y and welcoming, ill definitely be coming here again and recommend this place to others!!

The food was average and quite expensive for what it was. Steak overcooked and the parma was soggy. The host was rude and not accommodating at all, we felt very unwelcome. We had a large group that well spent over $1000 but after our meals were served we felt 'pushed out' by the host. They had exposed live electrical wires in their beer garden that actually shocked one of our kids. Not child friendly at all!

We attended on grand final day. Great atmosphere, and the team distributed bar snacks which was a nice surprise. The pub itself was pristine and bright and airy. We had the best sntizel and open souvlaki. The staff were divine, warm friendly and professional. Couldn’t ask for more

Cool retro bar with some nice simple cocktails and drinks. The fitout is full of old couches, furniture and plastic vines and looks great. The music was also really fun. For quite basic highball style cocktails I think the prices were kinda high, but enjoyed the atmosphere so would come again. It’s a big space and would suit a group or party.

I had my 30th party here and would highly recommend! It was a breeze to work with Bill and Max throughout the whole planning process as well as on the night. The staff were super attentive and checked in with me every step of the way. The cocktails are delish and they have a great catering menu. All my family and friends were very impressed as well. Awesome bar in terms of music and atmosphere. Very cool 💯 A little pricey though. A round of three drinks; a canned beer, a glass of sparkling wine and a dry martini, cost $63.00. We were all pretty surprised at this. Also, the martini was not great, not nearly dry enough. I'm not sure what gin was used, but it certainly wasn't in the expected London style.

Nice place to hang out. Prior entry ID and covid certificate will be checked. $10 for entrance. The open hours in Google is not updated, we nearly got to somewhere else because the google says it's closed, but apparently they're open.

It was quiet (it was a Wednesday arvo) and from the street it honestly looked like a wine cellar.. I’d go back but I wouldn’t rush back. It’s not a big place and I question how they meet budget revenue for the small amount of people that can be seated. We didn’t eat but we saw the pizza and it looked good. Service was okay, I didn’t like how he asked us if we wanted another round literally *5 seconds* after we’d finished the glass and sat it down. We had maybe 4-5 rounds and it was like he was watching us each time we finished. Way too over the top than most other venues.

Great crafty taproom. Plenty of beers to try. Would go again.

What an awesome new bar in Geelong - Gorge the master behind the 18th Ammendment has opened a second venue - Manhattan Bar. Manhattan Bar - a take on a good ole American dive bar is a ripper new venue. Given how well the 18th Ammendment has been received I am sure this will be a hit. Bartenders - Scott and Tim of Melbourne fame are very friendly and welcoming, and know how to pour your favourite drink. The atmosphere is comfortable and enjoyable. Get down and check out the range of drinks including a large selection of beers and slushy cocktails. Also a first is the USB chargers located at each and every table. I know I will be back again.

Great bar, and the Thursday night comedy was positively scrumptious.

This is my go-to watering hole in Geelong. Really diverse range of drinks to choose from, something for everyone. Great music, awesome atmosphere, always have great interactions with the staff and other patrons and its right at the heart of the Geelong nightlife.

Myself and a couple of friends stumbled across this amazing gem of a bar the other day, I had never heard of this place before so went in with no idea what it would be like. To say that I had an amazing time is understating it. The staff were so lovely and nice, and their magic shots were so entertaining! The music was so on point with 90s bops! I would recommend this bar to anyone.

I am giving 5 stars to the lovely waiter with the Mo, I think his name is Louis ⭐ It was our 1st visit to Manhattan Bar, us oldies dont get out much anymore. I was very impressed with our top quality Cocktails and his friendly, calm nature towards a couple of argumentative guy's at the bar👌 He is an asset to your team.

The place can be pretty packed but even so, it doesn’t feel crowded. The location is perfect for eating indoors with sea view. They have a QR ordering system on the tables but not working. Hopefully, they fix that so people can order more efficiently. The wait staff got our orders wrong twice. The rice was very small in portion and they tend to put the rice in the same plate as the saucy meat/veggies so much of the sauce gets on the rice making the taste quite overpowering. In the end the rice was drowning in sauce. Portions were generous but taste was just average

Unless you sit next to the window, this restaurant is quite ordinary. We opted for the feed me option and the 1st wave of food came very quickly. However, the 2nd wave took much longer, approx 50min gap apart. They even served us food that our neighbouring table ordered. The staff had to check if they served us the wrong food and that took about 5 min. The table next to us were not pleased and neither were we as we had their food and didn’t know if that was part of the feed me menu. If you are after a restaurant that looks after their customers, then don’t expect this here. They are much do-ers and don’t care much about customer experience. They didn’t even apologise to us or the table next to us for giving us the wrong order. I won’t be coming back again.

Driving thru on our road trip and thought we’d call in to have a bite at wah wah gee. The place looks pretty cool by the water. Waitstaff was lovely. We ordered fish and chips to share, it’s meant to be beer battered but it was a very thick dough like batter, it wasn’t cooked thru and uneatable, couldn’t even cut with knife. The dough was still raw when served and more dough than fish. I gave it one star for the tiny piece of fish we had with some chips. Such a great disappointment and I can’t justify paying $30 for this. It says they’re passionate about creating quality, fresh and fun sharing food on their webpage, I think the cook should care more about what he/she puts on the plate to be served to the patrons.

I’ll start with positives; fantastic location on the water, separate gf, df and V menus, the staff were friendly and helpful. Wah Wah Gee is quite large but also gets very noisy. It used to be a fabulous place and the food was always great but sadly the venue is now quite rundown, even the tables and chairs are old and tattered, definitely needs a facelift. The food looks great but was only okay, wasn’t as tasty as I hoped for and I feel pricey for what you received. Sorry, but I feel I can only give a three star review.

This place has a strong atmosphere, amazing view and casual relaxed vibe. The service was great and everything was delivered really promptly. The entrees were really good; heaps of flavour, fresh and got the meal off to a great start. The mains were a little underwhelming - missing a bit of flavour and tasted a little bit generic / bland. Prices are reasonable and portions were well sized. Come for the view, atmosphere and enjoy the appetisers!

$29.50 for a parma and you get a handful of chips, some salad leaves and one cherry tomato. The chicken was a decent size, but it would've been better with some more chips and a better salad. Service was fast and attentive and the restaurant was suitable for its intended purpose. Lots of people enjoying themselves and creating a nice atmosphere.

Recently moved into the area and I had sometime during lunch to drop in to try a local business. It was busy, but not out of control, and understood needing to wait to be seated. When the young man finally acknowledged that a table was needed, he was nonchalant and didn’t seem to really want the business. After sitting down for a reasonable amount of time, without any acknowledgement from the venue staff that maybe lunch was the occasion of attending the venue, had to leave, disappointed, hungry and worst of all thirsty. Gave the venue three stars for the food because the menu looked pretty good. Probably one of the reasons I walked out feeling disappointed.

Just had lunch today with my daughter and 2 grandsons. Want to say a big thankyou to the service, staff and food. Big tick from us. Special mention to the lovely young lady who seated us and look after our order. Thanks

Chicken Involtini was bland. We both had to add fair bit of seasoning to get any flavour $35 Nutella cheesecake overwhelmingly delicious and presented beautifully. Large portion and good value for $12. Had to send Soda lime and bitters back to the bar as there was only soda and bitters in the glass. Was extremely small soft drink for $5. Latté was as expected $5. Food delivered quickly for such a packed restaurant. Absolutely terrible acoustics in the restaurant. Couldn’t hear yourself think. Couldn’t hear the waitstaff. Place was packed on a Friday night. Not advisable for an intimate dinner. Maybe go upstairs. Blonde female drinks staff was very kind and helpful. As was the very tall female waitstaff.

Had lunch today. The roast had no potato and chewey meat. The calamari entree was mostly just crunchy little bits of batter. Very small serve. I live locally and was really disappointed.

Yummy steak! Kids menu was cheap! But adults menu was quite pricey! Garlic bread was overpriced!!! Steak was a little bit chewy but most of it was fine💅 We had to pay $67.50 for two people, one child one adult! That is so 67!!! The salmon was $35 for a little bit. SO DARK I HAD TO USE A FLASHLIGHT TO READ THE MENU!!! GO CATS💙🤍

The meat was inedible. When we sent it back to the kitchen they agreed something was off. When we said we did not want a free dessert we were charged almost full price. Be careful what you order

The food was decent for a sports bar, and the lively atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect in a place like this. It was a bit noisy, but that’s part of the fun when you’re watching the game with a crowd. A solid spot if you’re looking for classic bar food and an energetic vibe.

We ordered the 1kg meat platter, a fruit tingle cocktail jug and the garlic cobb with cheese. The platter was melt in your mouth beautifully done with well seasoned chips aswell. I didn’t have high expectations for the cobb but that was absolutely delicious as a side but I could’ve eaten a whole plate by itself. The cocktail was also splendid. The best part was that the food came very fast too. Overall wonderful experience thanks

Very poor on this visit. Service slower than slow. Orders were confused. Waiter not knowledgeable on types of beverages etc. Seemed confused. Drinks took forever to come. Waiter did not return to take our main order after entre was served and it took forever to get the attention of any staff member to take our main order. We were surrounded by tables that people had left with dirty dishes etc and no staff cleared tables. Most annoying to have to look at. When we asked a waiter to clear our table he told us to wait. Didn’t come back for ten minutes. Not the service I like to see. Lack of pride in the delivery as far as I could tell.

I'm a little torn here as the staff were very kind and let us watch the NRL in Victoria but the food was overly expensive for ordinary pub grub and our 3 meals came out over 30 minutes apart. It wasn't very busy and it meant we all ate alone. The burger was almost $30 and not much bigger than a Macca's cheese burger. I went elsewhere for more food later.

AMAZING food, we really enjoyed celebrating an 18th here. service was great. Only draw back was having a table of 15 in a corner making it a little difficult for the poor people sitting along the wall. Otherwise great. Wings are to die for !! yummmmm

I dined with my family at The Sporting Globe in Geelong (Ryrie Street) around 5 PM last night. While the food was fantastic, the experience started off poorly due to the service we initially received. Our first server, Jordy, was quite dismissive and rude. She refused to seat us at a vacant table, saying it was for people watching the footy—without even asking if we were there to watch the game ourselves. She assumed we weren’t and walked away, placing us at a cramped table that wasn’t suitable for our group. Thankfully, we approached the manager and requested to be assisted by another staff member. Tracey kindly helped us move to a more spacious table. From that point on, she was incredibly pleasant and attentive, and really helped turn our experience around. The food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully, and everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Despite the rocky start, thanks to Tracey’s great service and the high quality of the food, we would definitely consider coming back. We just hope that all guests in the future receive the same level of professionalism and courtesy we experienced from her.

Had lunch here. As others have mentioned, it is a bit dearer than what you'd pay in other pubs ($36 for fish & chips & soft drink) However, the meal was exquisite. Chips- perfect 👌 Salad & dressing- delightful Fish- not greasy & very nice As its been said- "Quality is remembered, long after price is forgotten!"

Tried this pub out for dinner last night, and probably won’t go back again. The atmosphere felt off – the bar felt cold and empty with hardly any seating, yet there were over 10 TV screens which made it feel overstimulating rather than inviting. The menu was massive with some odd choices, like 20 different types of parmis. The portions were huge, but sadly the food itself was dry and tasteless. Part of my order was missing, though to be fair, the staff fixed it quickly once I pointed it out. Overall this place was hit and miss – one of the bar staff accidentally bumped me, and my handbag ended up on the dirty floor. The beer also had a strange metallic taste, which didn’t help.

First time coming to this restaurant and it was not a good experience, part of my parmi wasn’t cooked all the way through, the chips were overcooked and hard as rock and the staff were disrespectful, pointing and badmouthing someone at my table because the pineapple on their food was off and when we made a staff member aware of this behaviour we were told they were the owners daughter and their was nothing that would be done. Never eating here again.

Had dinner here. Wait staff excellent, very attentive and polite. Table service for food order and drinks so classier than a pub meal. Food was delicious and a wide choice. Open venue so a bit noisy if you are looking for a quiet dinning experience. But we didn't find it impacted on our conversation or enjoyment.

Love visiting the valley inn. If anything I. Would suggest the chef double check the steak cooking. I had the eye fillet last week and asked for a medium. I got well done. My guest this week ordered a medium rare and got a medium. Otherwise very good

Great food always come here as they offer small plates. No other place offers this making it not just affordable to eat out but not wasting large amounts!! Kids favourite spot to eat out too now!! Staff were friendly.

I’m definitely coming back! This bistro pub offers a wide variety of dishes, and the portions are generous. We ordered the roast of the day, the Mexican bowl, and the slow-cooked lamb shoulder — all hearty and absolutely delicious. This place was packed but we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Our family can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu 😋

Nice hotel for a meal. Came with local family members whilst visiting from Qld. Friendly staff and nice food. Hubby thought the steak sandwich was juicy but not overly dine with sauce. Had a salad myself which was delicious. Nice place for locals to eat.

A five page menu takes a bit of study, where you’ll find the traditional alongside much more. Found a Vietnamese chicken salad, which was a large plate of individual grouped ingredients with warm noodles & chicken, and a pot of dressing on the side. So so delicious. Second plate was the lamb cutlets. Three tender & flavoursome cutlets with well matched accompaniments. Tables outside for enjoying perfect autumn sunshine. Prompt service. A great lunch.

Nice warm atmosphere . No table service, order food and drinks at the bar. Not informed of this when arriving and found out after waiting 20 min at our table. Meals came out fast within 30 min but restaurant was only 1/4 full. Large meal sizes. Parmi's were good but the Vietnamese chicken salad had no flavour. Friendly staff. Would we return, not sure.....

One of the best pubs in the Geelong there's a large range of menu items all of which I've found to be great quality. Since covid a lot of other restaurants have either gone out of business or fallen in quality. However Fyansford Hotel has maintained their quality and even excelled in some areas. 10/10 this is my go to pub for meals and events

Plenty of options on Menu with prices compatible with most good restaurants. The bistro was busy, yet service was prompt and staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and generous sizes. We will definitely be back.

Most extensive pub menu ever. The food came quickly, was well cooked and presented. The ordering process was a bit slow as the staff were working hard to divide their time between food orders and two bars. Prices were reasonable too. We've visited before and will definitely come again.

Food and service were fantastic! I got a coconut and mango daiquiri, chicken boa buns, and the fries ( plenty of food, ideal for sharing!). We were here on a Thursday night and while it was quiet the atmosphere was still very cosy. 10/10 would recommend.

What a place....!! Amazing. I loved veg food. Staff is very caring. We had booked a table, as we were getting delayed, staff called us about the arrival saying they will keep the kitchen open if we are coming. So nice of them.

A huge THANK YOU to Ross and his team led by Kathleen for hosting my daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations. Nothing was a hassle and communication during the lead up to the big celebration was seamless. On the night, the staff were most hospitable, friendly and only to willing to accommodate even the smallest of details. The function space was atmospheric and warm, and all our guests had the most enjoyable time. The food, as usual, was delicious. Moreover, plentiful! No one left hungry and we had so many guests comments about how much delicious food options there there was. Having a bar tab made things easy for everyone and we were updated often, as to the status of the tab. We couldn't fault the venue, staff or food! We opted to have a DJ play at the venue, which Ross was only to happy to oblige. An outstanding venue and exceptional service - thank you Ross & Team. We will be back again! Rob, Isabella & Co.

Last night we hosted our sons 18th birthday party at Frankie and it was an absolute success from start to finish! The staff was incredibly accommodating, professional, and warm — making sure every detail was perfect. The food was amazing (as always!), and the atmosphere was just what we were hoping for. What a beautiful dinner we experienced at Frankie. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed; the staff attentive and friendly. The meals are divine. Do yourself a favour and have the beef cheeks in a light curry broth. Omg the flavours! - one of our party wanted to lick the bowl clean it was that delicious. To be honest, I was tempted as well.

Overall Frankies was great. The service was friendly. The cocktail was amazing!! Most of the food we ordered was delicious. The greens with the sauce, yum. Fish bites yum Duck wrapas, amazing. Popcorn chicken, tasty but seemed extra brown and crunchy. Pad Thai nachos, sorry but not for me. And the rice was nice and fluffy

We recently had lunch at Frankie and were so impressed by the delicious variety of pan-Asian-fusion dishes - YUM!! Generous portion sizes, great value for money and attentive wait staff. The owner Ross was also on the floor with a friendly smile, regularly topping up our wines 🙌😜🍷 Do yourself a favour and get down to Frankie’s over the holidays - you won’t regret it!

Would so come here again, walking back to our hotel decided to stop and get some dinner BEST decision I had made all day. Hubby and I had chicken parmmy for dinner and it was seriously the BEST prammy we have had. Whole thing was juicy not a dry spot in it.

The staff were friendly and attentive and enjoyed having a laugh with us. It was Parmi night & they were excellent, the Chicken was delicious. The seafood plate was also complimented on taste, variety, but the person who ordered wished there were 2 pieces of fish-must've been THAT good!

We decided to go out and eat ,it was getting late, around 830pm most places the kitchens were closing I called Jokers on Ryrie at 830pm asked if they were still open for dinner, which they were they advised us that the kitchen closes at 9pm . We made our way there 840pm to our surprise we were still offered the full menu which was amazing as kitchen closes in 20min, We appreciated the service from the young lady who took our order and waitered on our table. The food was amazing. W had beef sliders as an entree and steak meals with surf & turf ,crumbed lamb cutlets ,we also ordered 2 of the bread puddings, which were so good. The vibe and atmosphere were on point, nice chilled dining in the outside area. what we also noticed and appreciated were the No smoking and No E cigarettes in the outdoor area. Overall, I recommend checking out Jokers on Ryrie if you're visiting Geelong.

Came for lunch on a Friday, overall it was a surprisingly good experience. Lunch specials were $10.50, I had the Guinness pie which was good. Others ordered from the standard lunch menu and were happy with their choices. The $16 porterhouse steak was a winner, not only in price but also in quality. The staff were friendly and courteous. It's definitely worth visiting.

Always a favourite! Jokers is our regular go-to for family dinners. The vibe is always relaxed, the staff are lovely, and the food is affordable & great. We’ve had so many good meals here over the years! We still miss the ragu lasagne with goat’s cheese though – hands down one of the best dishes we’ve had. Please bring it back permanently! & keep the calamari on the kids menu, the kids are very happy to see that!! Looking forward to our next visit already 😊

The employees as well as the security guards made insignificant and inappropriate comments towards one of my friends. Due to this incident she became quite unsettled and upset. Since this venue is supposed to be welcoming and safe, she however felt the opposite as these individuals commented on her appearance and personality. I and my other friends felt quite disappointed towards their service and their actions. I hope this can be resolved and improved in order for this business to thrive. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing behaviour

Asked for Pale Ale, got served some warm and flat "stout" that was poured wrong! Stood at the bar for 5 minutes waiting to be served. No wonder it's always empty!

Thought the lasagne was tiny, tasted like it was pre-packaged and heated up in the microwave the price was wayyyyy to expensive. Apart from that it was very clean, great atmosphere

Not sure if this deck is related in any way to the deck in Frankston, but this one definitely has much friendlier people and staff. Hats off to the friendly staff 🙏🏽 It has cozy indoor and outdoor seating with multiple levels and balconies. The food was pub meals, but decent. Nonas spaghetti came out pretty good and the fish was super crispy. Will definitely visit next time In Geelong

Great place for drinks and dinner! I know it's random but the womens toilets are terrible! Doors hardly close. Weird bent metal thing hangs down over the doors and there was no paper. The doors all out of alignment. Fixed paper situation quickly but pretty disappointed.

We had our daughters 18th at The Deck on the weekend (middle level function space). Could not have been happier with the event. Bar staff were amazing, food was fantastic and the space was perfect. The lead up was very well organised and we felt confident with the communication prior. Thanks team!

Never been but my friend had a bad incident with another patron where he was attacked for no reason although the security kicked the patron out they still accused my friend of being the initiator. I will not be coming to this venue in future and it does not seem safe.

Had my 19th birthday at The Deck and I think we may have traumatised poor Jock (but in a fun way). From the moment we arrived, Jock was our fearless party captain — gracefully navigating a table full of loud 19-year-olds, cake-fueled chaos, and rogue balloons trying to escape to the stratosphere. When one of us broke a glass (RIP), Jock was there in seconds like a ninja janitor with a smile. When our balloon floated to the ceiling like it was trying to join a better party upstairs, Jock climbed a LADDER to rescue it — a true hero’s arc. The food? Delicious. The vibes? Immaculate. The cake? Shared with Jock, who now probably questions all his career choices. Give this man a raise. Or at the very least, a balloon he doesn’t have to chase. Thanks for an unforgettable night, Jock & The Deck crew! We’ll be back… possibly with more balloons. 🎈🎂🎉

Quite little place with reasonably priced drinks, accidently got locked in the toilet though (please fix the lock ahah). Games are fun and bartender was so lovely!!

Nice little place with video games lining each wall. The place is very small, can imagine it would get quite difficult to move around if it was busy. Barman was really nice and helpful, cocktails were great and a fairly decent amount of beers. They had Mario Kart 64 on console for 4 people which was fun, 2 of the controllers were a little bit dodgy but pretty expected when it's in a bar. A few pinball tables and a big Buck hunter were the highlights for mine.

One of my favourite little bars in G-Town. Can spend hours here and it's soooo much fun. Good variety of games from pinball to Mario kart to Terminator. The wait staff are great. And the beer selection and prices are fantastic! Love this joint, will definitely come back every visit! 👍👍

Great place. Pinball machines, nintendos and other arcade games line this hole in the wall. Drinks are really well priced and Jay the bartender is such a lovely bloke. Can get a bit crazy with lots of people. But a fantastic bar close to the centre of town.

My childhood and adulthood clash at the same time. Pinball machines, games from the 90’s like NBA Jam Session and Point Blank, and Super Nintendo’s. Good selection of drinks and the nachos weren’t bad either. Little venue, so get in early for a table, but you’ll be playing the games anyway. Seriously good fun.

We came here over the weekend & if you're a bit of a gamer and want to spend time socialising/drinking, then this is a good alternative to at home. There's a variety of arcade machines (which you pay to play for), as well as two Nintendo systems setup to play for free. The drinks are a bit pricey with cocktails being around $17 and in a regular glass, along with beer being around $8 a pint. Overall it's a pretty fun place for drinks in town.

A small but well-created arcade bar. Staff have always been approachable, but I have only ever seen one staff member working at any given time - This can generate long wait times at the bar on busier nights. Attracts two kinds of crowds: gaming enthusiasts and curious passers-by. Small groups would enjoy the nostalgia trip of some SNES/N64 over a beer. Would appeal to people aged 20-30.

Dropped in late afternoon yesterday, glad I wasn't any later as there was a private function that night. Kelly (who is such a sweetie) and Blaise are great value, this tourist really appreciated the time chatting with them about the craft beer places in the region obviously including Bells Beach Brewing. I had the XPA first (yum) then after some pondering I took the plunge on the Imperial Stout. Quite drinkable, even a bit sweet, in a good way to make it approachable rather than brutal. Enjoyed hearing K & B's interactions with others also. Customers, and the couple of people that had been hired by the party people to set up. Bells have trusted the management of this venue to great people and they turn a small venue into an awesome place to go.

A great spot tucked behind Lt Malop. Beers are tasty and new taps are often on offer - the friendly and knowledgeable team help you with your choices. You can get takeaways too which is handy at the end of the night. Also love that you can BYO food from any of the surrounding businesses and it's also dog friendly.

Fun location of down the side street of Lt Malop, intimate and lively atmosphere with a great selection of beers. Nice looking bar and good high tables with stools to sit. There is a large booth for larger parties and a great outside are too! Cheers!

Great intimate space, fabulous range of beers, shame the lady serving behind the bar is so rude, told us to shut up because we were taking (very quietly) when the comedy act was on (which to be honest was terrible and pretty offensive). It wasn’t a paid ticket event so I think it is pretty fair to expect that not everyone may engage with the comedy act! Has put me off going again, shame because the beers and cider are fabulous, shame the staff spoilt the night

I absolutely loved this place! We ended up going for two nights in a row as we were on holiday and it was the best place we found in Geelong. The guys behind the bar were absolutely lovely and really made it, along with the beer! They even have a happy hour! We felt so so welcome and enjoyed trying allllll the beers! Got the best pizza I've ever had nextdoor too. 11/10.

We were recommended to this bar and came here a group of 6 for a friend’s birthday. We had an amazing time here, amazing cocktails and wonderful friendly service. Shout out to the bar tender Jackson :) Would highly recommend this place !

Non-disclosure Bar in Geelong is an absolute gem! The service is excellent, with bar who are not just knowledgeable but passionate about mixology. The atmosphere here is classy, sophisticated but open and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful evening with close friends or a special date. Their cocktail craft is some of the best I've known. We tried a few drinks, each a masterpiece, beautifully balanced and presented! Whisky enthusiasts will be in paradise here, with an extensive array of selections and rare bottlings that should cater to anyone! They also offer food and appetizers that are as bespoke as the cocktails. Thanks for the great evening. You have really 'raised the bar'.

We just had natural oysters for "food" and they were perfectly good. The ambience of the place was lovely as it filled up through the evening. We had excellent, well-advised cocktails including a Kokoro, special martini of the night. Good sister business to the famous 18th Amendment and surely one to add to my regular drop-ins in Geelong. Service also at the level of 18th!

The staff were very accomodating. I ordered a wine and wasn’t the biggest fan of it. The staff allowed me to try different wines and made sure I was drinking something I enjoyed. I ended up with my favourite; vodka lime soda but the staff didn’t mind at all. The staff here really want the customers to have the best experiences here. they want there customer to drink what they enjoy and to enjoy the atmosphere and to socialise in a calm cool environment. Best place to go

We dined here last night with family and it was pretty underwhelming. Service is slow in the bistro, it's as if they don't even know you're standing at the bar waiting to order. I had a parma, everything on the plate was only luke warm. My son had nachos with mince, we struggled to find any mince at all. One of our meals never arrived. When we enquired it turned out that they'd never even put the order through. They cooked it and then halfway through it being eaten, they asked us to come to the bar and pay. FOR THE MEAL THE STAFF FORGOT?! No apology either. The portions are small and expensive and poor quality. The service is more or less non-existent. We won't be back.

The Chicken Parma was absolutely delicious, and the half-price deal for members on Thursdays is fantastic—especially since joining is free! Carlton Draught fresh from the tank was a perfect match. The staff were incredibly helpful, adding to the overall great experience 🐔

Your bar tender is very rude and couldn’t care less about good service. He has no idea about how to be even the slightest bit polite. One meal didn’t even come out and when we asked about it, he gave a very smart ass answer. No coeliac friendly food, now spirits and some beers not available. Not coming back.

Happening place. Older crowd enjoying their afternoon / evening betting and sports. We went for dinner- outdoor seating. Noise level good. Great menu choice and I had it narrowed down to three items and based on my friends exclaimed cry when I mentioned the Pommy Parma, that was set. I delight of chicken schnitzel topped with mashed potato, pies and sausages along with gravy. Nice chips to accompany. Fairly quick service. Friendly. Worth the visit.

Parma was nice, chips cold, when asked if I could get some hot chips in a bowl was told whole meal had to go back. No way is anybody in a kitchen getting my meal after I asked for HOT chips

Young male staff member who sat us down was really personable and suited his role. We enjoyed out salt and pepper calamari but our lamb cutlets and chicken parmi were very dry and a struggle to get through.

Popped in for drinks. Let me introduce you to Max behind the jump, who must have missed the brief to smile & greet patrons. Ordered a beer & cocktail. Poured the beer & told to take a seat, I’ll find you with the cocktail. Wait, wait. Four patrons enter, get served drinks & Max stands idle. A trip to the bar to enquire was met with ‘it’s coming’ Wait, wait. Beer finished & a second trip to the bar. A very unfortunate exchange. Enquires revealed Max was the manager! Hmmm.

There's clearly a reason this pub was extremely quiet. I say this in hindsight after our experience. As part of a booking of 14 not one other person came in the entire time we were there. Firstly the website needs a massive update as it is very misleading. No $10 cocktails during happy hour period as stated. Not the number of on tap beers as stated. The food was average and we ordered 2 parmas paying approximately $58 another couple ordered same and paid $73. Staff were I guess as good as they could be under the circumstances but it was a comedy of errors. Worst of all was the disgusting condition of the toilets which looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. Decor and pub itself looked nice. Where was everyone though?? Clearly not the locals pub of choice.

It was pathetic. The food was poor, and they ran out of several types of alcohol. Not because we drank too much but because they only had 3 light beers in total. They had no alcohol on tap, and there were others. The wait time was slow 🐌 Then, we copped some attitude from the drink waiter. If it's still open when I'm next in Geelong, I won't be there ‼️

Allen and i stopped in at the Geelong Hotel for lunch during our visit to geelong after catching the Spirit Of Tasmania. The lovely waitress who served us was very kind and made sure both Allen and I had our dietary needs looked after, which we really appreciated. While the service was excellent, unfortunately the food itself wasn’t quite to our taste, and the prices were a bit higher than expected. Still, we were grateful for the warm and friendly service.

Lovely looking pub with great atmosphere but hopefully today they were just having a bad day for Mother's day. Beer fridge and taps were empty with limited beer options. Our cocktails had no garnish or straw, that's ok. The chicken parma served to us was still raw. Manager struggled to talk, offered a free cocktail. We all went off our meal and left it there half eaten. Parma was refunded off the bill.

For anyone wondering, yes the geelong hotel is shut down. Take it from a formal worker, we've been shut down for a month at this point due to owners not paying the: landlord, suppliers, & staff. I've been waiting for over 8 weeks for my pay & they haven’t paid me. They'll try to avoid responsibility & try to lie about it, but at this point the proof is in the puddening since its all over social media. So take this as from a legit source of information.

Their cocktails are excellent. Probably some of the best it town. Their starters are good (wedges etc.) too. However my main (grilled chicken breast with Prosciutto and roast veg) was overcooked and dry, with the prosciutto cooked beyond recognition. Some of the others in our company enjoyed their meals (the sweet potato parmi seemed popular). No soap in the bathroom. The rating I have given reflects my own experience, in consideration of the fairly high price point.

Commercialised brewery which gives some information about the beer making process. The food in the Caffe is great and recommend trying the chicken sandwich. 👍 Had a great experience with beer tasting. Good place to enjoy few hours if your a traveler or a tourist.

We held our wedding at White Rabbit Brewery on Monday 24/4/2017. This review is to acknowledge the absolutely fantastic time that was had by us and our 70 guest.The venue is quirky, spacious, and accommodated our wedding ceremony in the Barrel Hall and our celebration party afterwards. Couldn’t get in to the main beer hall and was redirected to the White Rabbit. We had prime position in front of the open fire. Excellent Stout and the food arrived in 10 minutes. Charming bar staff who convinced us to always return to the Rabbit!

A little out of the way from Melbourne, but really nice spot with amazing beer. The staff knows their stuff & the wall of barrels is cool too. Plus they share an area with Little Creatures.

Intimate setting but had a somewhat disengaged service. Beers are solid. Lacks the full kitchen of the Little Creatures next door. If you are only after the beers, it won’t disappoint. But I’m afraid it wouldn’t survive if wasnt next the LC.

I was shocked and delighted to discover @the.continentalgeelong a slice of Italy 🇮🇹 in Little Mallop St, #Geelong. I loved their half glass option which provided the best opportunity to try as much of their wine 🍷 list as possible. Molto bello, impossible to fault. This hidden gem is like stepping into a Trattoria in pre 60s Italy. The service is impeccable. Cameriere dressed in crisp white jackets reminiscent of dining in Piazza Navona. The food is as good as eating from Nonna's kitchen but modernised to suit the urban vibe. Rare continental aperitifs and liqueurs expertly crafted into nostalgic cocktails from yesteryear. Decor, fixtures and atmosphere period perfect.

First time visit last night was nice but definitely fell short of what could have been. I really did like the feel of the place, cute Italian vibe, friendly staff, a great start. Unfortunately the food just wasn’t everything it could have been. We ordered 3 starters, 2 of which were a bit salty, but acceptable given one was baccala and the other smoked eel. The third was a ricotta and zucchini dish, simple but tasty. We chose the swordfish main, this was a definite let down. Swordfish was inconsistently cooked, end pieces only just done, middle pieces underdone, and way too salty, I think it the green sauce was the culprit? We finished with the apple pastry for dessert, again this was nice but we were a little confused as to why it was served cold and not hot. If the Apple was hot, this dish would have been wonderful, instead it was just nice. I imagine we will go again at some stage, hopefully the kitchen takes this feedback and makes something positive of it :)

Had such a lovely time at the Continental. So lovely in fact, I came two weekends in a row from Melbourne. The staff are very professional and friendly, the “barrel aged” negroni delicious and of course the food was effortless and perfect. An added extra, they always play really good music which is always nice. Highly recommend.

This new restaurant is raising the bar in Geelong dining. We tried the Sunday set menu lunch. At $45 pp the food was amazing. 5 different courses of fresh uncomplicated dishes. Recommendations for wines complimented the food. Cocktails from a bygone era. Staff obviously have the mantra "Over deliver in service" . The venue has a great vibe.

What is not to love about this classy Italian style restaurant beautifully positioned and leading the way in the Lt Malop St precinct. The Oysters are a must, so too the Arancini, but save room for the Steak Tartare....it's out of this world! The menu is something special, staff are super knowledgeable, and it's an experience made even better with an amazing selection of European wines...and perhaps a Negroni or a French 75 to round out a great night. Geelong is lucky to have such an amazing restaurant!!

Over priced restaurant. Could've been better ones with better flavour at other places in Geelong. Feeling like this restaurant placed at extremely good spot where people normally are gathering, took lots of benefits out of the location. Not recommending. 2 stars for good service by friendly staffs.

It’s the Barwon Club. It has always hosted the best bands in Australia. I hope it’s around forever.

Great venue for live bands and nice food and staff. The only downside though is that two of the toilets didn't have locks that worked and the floor was wet. So I would get better locks that actually work and ensure that the floor is clean at all times. Other than that, it's a good venue. Keep up the good work.

Charming Lunch Spot in Geelong We stopped at the Barwon Club Hotel for lunch and couldn’t have been happier. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, the mains were beautifully presented, cocktails were excellent, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. The menu even includes vegan options. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Geelong—highly recommend!

Had a amazing time here, service was outstanding and very welcoming, we got the market fish and calamari with a side of garlic bread. All the food was fulfilling and delicious. 10/10 would come back ☺️

Seems like it be a good place. Meat raffles and good staff apart from one girl just ruined the mood by looking like she hated work and had no customer service. So she kind of ruined the vibe when she served me

Friendly staff, affordable, and they serve their own handcrafted beer. The steak was priced at $32, which is rare to find nowadays.

Great venue, really nice atmosphere and good music choices. The food was delectable at the all you can eat night with a good range of flavours. The staff made sure all of the food was available, replacing it swiftly if it ran out. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and one that I would happily embark on again.

Went to check out LPS for the first time with hubby. Had the 'all you can eat buffet' on Sunday. We were so impressed. Having been a caterer myself, I know good food when I see it. The chef was so lovely. He did a great job. Spoke to the owners who were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely go again. 👍😊

Went in on a Sunday night to try out the $25 all you can eat buffet. It provided excellent food and amazing service, the atmosphere was very pleasant and it was an awesome place all-round to eat at. I would highly recommend it and will likely be going back again.

Highly recommended, great food, great value, great atmosphere and friendly staff. A group of us went out Saturday night for my birthday, 29/10/2022 and had dinner and drinks. I had the Beef Massman Curry with rice and naan and it was superb - tender and just the right amount of spice. Others in my group had Chicken Schnitzel, Seafood Paella, Pasta Carbonara and Chicken and bacon wraps with chips. All generous servings and all between $23 and $28 per main. Thursdays are Parma night and they serve a great Parma also.

A group of us arrived at this hotel at 12.30 planning to have burgers and were informed by a not too friendly bar lady that food was not available until 1.45 as it was booked out, yet bar and dining room almost empty. Not recommended and will definitely not be back. Will go to more welcoming hotels in future.

Had a fantastic dinner here with a friend. Wow!!!! So delicious. Great serving sizes. Amazing taste. Fabulous textures. So impressed. Came here a few years and desperately wanted to come back. Glad a did. See you again soon.

If you are looking for a country pub this is it, friendly staff and patrons great atmosphere. We try to visit this pub for lunch once a fortnight and it’s well worth it. Food’s fantastic and reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jack , jack, jacqui

Food was good when kitchen finally got organised. Even though we ordered first as instructed, our large group booking ended up eating as two seperate groups. The kitchen got confused and missed half the table until serving half the pub. Such a disappointment cos my chef mate and his family expected so much more, and knew it was possable. Atmosphere was good and cosy. I'd recommend it for double dates or family feeds, not parties or large groups. Caravan parking sites available.

Tried to book for a group of us for a birthday dinner. 8 years of train line pub crawls and never had an issue or complaint from anywhere. Got attitude right from the start and knocked back. Disappointing.

Arrived at 5:40 Saturday..without a booking, and with no one seated in the dining room we were told nothing available until 7:30.. OMG we would have eaten and been on our way home by then... Have they hear of early eaters and double sittings. Won't be rushing back.

A decent pub overall. Service 5 - Quick service and food arrived as per order. Food 4 - For a pub meal, the food was tasty. Value for money 3 - Size of serving was lacking for the price. The $28 burger was considerably smaller than the $15 brekky burger I had at a cafe that morning. So essentially I’m paying $13 for a single beef patty and the whole thing smaller in size. Atmosphere 5 - Solid atmosphere, comfy and homely. We were sat at table 5 next to the exit door. Although it was cold whenever anyone exited, there was no reason why I couldn’t have asked to be moved. Maybe don’t sit at table 5 in winter if you have the choice. Will be back.

Last night I saw a great show at your establishment. We had beautiful food to start with but was extremely disappointed that you don't have a proper accessible toilet big enough for someone in an electric wheelchair. I checked your website prior to going which said you were very inclusive and would accept anyone. I would have been looked after so much more if I was after a unisex toilet. Please change your website to say not accessible for disabled people.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. A huge thank you for overall great service and to the venue and especially the Chef for the most amazing eye fillet steaks. We have had so many disappointing steaks over the last few months, we were hesitant to order one, especially at $55 each. However, the steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them (well done, which a lot of chefs scoff at), and as an added bonus I got mine with potatoes and green veg instead of the usual chips and salad, what a joy! We don't live locally but will definately be back if and when we can, top spot for lunch.

Location and service was adequate. We chose the only vegetarian/vegan option which was somthing based on brustle sprouts and lentils. It was just aufull and the unpleasant taste lingered many hours on the 60km drive home. We booked the table in advance and looked forward to a happy day out. Take my advice... know what you are going to expect before you make a reservation and you may get a better result than we did. Beware!

Went to Barwon heads for dinner on a Friday night and was very disappointed with the food. We had the Arancini balls for entree and they were tiny and had no flavour at all and was very disappointing to start off. For mains I had a steak which I asked to be cooked at medium rare, however the streak was well over cooked and way too tough to enjoy. On a slight positive, the other two people I eat with ordered burgers which they both didn’t have any complaints about. Very very ordinary for a $50 steak and $16-$18 arancini balls.

Meals were pretty good. Busy atmosphere & happy hour wasn't happy though. No view just big plastic tents instead of the lovely water views it used to have

Such an awesome bar, supporting Victoria’s wineries plus more. A great welcome from Matthew, sharing wine region stories & spot on recommendations. Old fashioned with a twist - so yum. Highly recommended to seek out this bar and their theme nights. International Shiraz Day on 24 July.

Simple set up with a bar and selection of wines in the rear, with excellent bar to sit around. The wine selection is curated to provide a diverse selection of local and not so local wines. Jam on and cheese is available to match your wine selection, and it’s best to speak to staff about what you’re after as they are friendly and know their trade very well. Check this place out when in Geelong if you enjoy your wine and cheese.

Small but packs a punch. Lewis and Andy are great hosts. They attract a diverse range of people who appreciate the food, the wine selection advice and that special buzz of customers knowing they are somewhere special. We love the look of messy cheese, the image of food enjoyed! These cheeses are Australian, reinforcing that our makers are producing fine fromage. Our chacuterie platter on a busy Friday night was supurb.

Cosy little wine bar with an exceptionally large range of wine, including both local and international drops. You can buy wine to drink in the venue or takeaway and their pricing system is very reasonable. The bar itself is comfortable and we received excellent advice on the wines. Will definitely be back for more! PS.. they've now added some quality beer to their range!! 6 🌟

First visit and loved it! Authentic atmosphere to enjoy wine by the glass and discover new producers. The team are welcoming and knowledgeable about the wine they offer. I took 2 recommendations and loved both! Perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy a treat solo.

Food and service were both good, but the atmosphere could use some improvement. The music was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation, and the lighting was quite dim. A bit more brightness and lower volume would really enhance the dining experience

I had an amazing dinner here at Amrin & Bros. The buffet has a great range of food - so many veggie options which was perfect for me, and it is so well priced! Everything was absolutely delicious. So tasty! I kept going back for more. I was served by Julia & Kirn - honestly the friendliest staff I’ve met in a long time! The atmosphere here is unreal and it’s set up beautifully inside. I want to come back every single day. Please visit, you won’t regret it!

Amazing Indian Food! We absolutely loved the bold, delicious flavors here — every dish was packed with taste! The ambience was great and the place felt spacious and comfortable. The staff member (Golu) was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone craving great Indian food!

I found Amrin a year ago through a colleague. Since then we have been coming here every week. I would say they have the best Indian food in Geelong and recommend the butter chicken, tikka masala, Rogan Josh(lamb) and chicken korma. The quality of food is exceptional and consistent. Also the portion is generous. The venue is large and specious. I really hope this restaurant stays in Geelong for a long time.

Lovely place plus a lovely place for the hungriest lot who want something indian on the authentic Indian cuisine and I tried their stuff and top notch plus I had two (2) serves and my first time at the joint and it was a bloody brilliant place plus I have curries 🍛 in the liking in my family's and all and the place was lovely and lovely and well set up plus perfect for a couple dating or if you want catch up with family and friends even mates and 🍺🍻 if your not driving around etc plus the butter chicken at lunch yep brilliant and I forget which one's are the sweet one's but yeah a good thing for sweet tooth craving urge lovers too and I enjoyed my lunch servings too.

Visited Amrin & Brow in Geelong for dinner today — our first time at the restaurant — and we were truly impressed! The ambience is warm and inviting, and the service was excellent throughout. Special mention to Julia and Golu for their outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and made our experience better. We tried: • Tandoori Chicken & Malai Tikka – both were delicious, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Rich taste without being overly spicy, just the way we like it. • Pani Puri – fresh, and tasty! • Butter Chicken – creamy, perfectly balanced, and one of the best. • Rotis – soft and well made. • Biryani – fragrant and tasty; even my son enjoyed it! Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food and friendly service. Definitely recommend for a nice dine-in meal, and we’ll be back again!

9 of us dined. 0 were happy with food quality. Chips were over salted,most likely to get you to drink more. Parmigiana over cooked, burger buns burnt and meat over cooked.chicken strips underseasoned. Pizza was ok. Base undercooked. Arachini balls were nice and generous serve.Music was too loud for dinner service. Overall great atmosphere and staff were great. Need to work on quality of food And I will visit again.

They were playing pretty good music, and there was plenty of different drinks to chose from. Older crowd, but young groups were coming and going.
