The bakery here was quite nice. The atmosphere of the place was very nice and cozy. I loved all the bread on the open display. The staff were also really nice to explain everything to you. The bread was very tasty and fresh, I really enjoyed it. The composition of the sandwiches were nice and everything complemented each other. That being said I didn't like the pumpkin focaccia. I got flavour fatigue after eating about half of it. Only suggestion I would recommend for the sandwiches is to incorporate some sort of pickled vegetables and also some more meat or protein as it can feel like empty calories.

Wow, this is the bakery of my dreams. Pain au choc perfect - pastry flaky, slightly salty and nice rich choc with a good bite to it. Lemon meringue tart amazing - not too sweet and just tangy enough. Pecan sticky bun, something I never knew I needed in my life but now can't stop thinking about

I was initially skeptical when I saw the bread, but I’m so glad we decided to try it—it turned out to be a combination I never knew I needed. The sesame bread paired with prosciutto and cheese was simple yet incredibly fragrant and flavorful. Just wow. We also had the pecan sticky bun with vanilla custard, and it was next-level. You could actually see the vanilla beans in the custard 🥹. I never knew pecans and buns could be this good together! Place was also pretty crowded when we visited.

Soooo delicious. We bought some to eat then and some to take away for later. Ended up eating the lot it was so good 😅. Flavour combinations on point 💯. Asparagus croissant incredible, also Camembert thyme and hot honey. Wish I could have tried everything.

Beautiful bakery, great variety and coffee was nice. Always busy and can see why. The potatle foccacia was divine, cinnamin scroll scrumptious.

Drive way is full of pot holes. Signage at the front blocks oncoming traffic 😳 Ordered 2 different Berry pastries. Got one out of 2. Found out had 1 out of 2 at morning tea. Drove back as they don't have ph number 🙄 which I was very shocked this Business has no mobile number. 📵 no land line either. 40 min drive back . Got refund but wear n tear and fuel. Not sure it was worthwhile going back. Ph call could have saved all that.

We’re UK based & have just taken a week to travel from Melbourne to Adelaide. On our first morning we chose to breakfast at Ket bakery and - having sampled croissants between Geelong & Adelaide - we can categorically say - the chocolate almond croissant at Ket is the best we tasted! Congratulations on producing such a great product! We also sampled the berry chausson and the savoury danishes - all delicious! The coffee’s great too!

I haven't had such amazing pastries in a very long time. Huge variety. We tried five. Four of them we'd surely go back for more. Fabulous coffee too. Really lovely ambience. Unfortunately that day it was fairly crowded cos Public holiday.

Lemon pastry hands down my favourite. Tangy with the right amount of sweetness and flakey less from the pastry. Pricey but I think it's worth it, plus nice to support small local businesses! Would recommend and come here again

Amazing bakery and amazing coffee. Service is second to none. We also bought some fresh eggs from them and the quality was really good. They also have a nice farm/garden and a few peacocks on site for the kids to visit. My niece left her water bottle at the bakery and the team member kindly helped us to put it aside for is to collect it later. Thank you ao much to the team members and Sarah.

Hi I purchased your donuts which where hidden on the top of your counter, why? They are one of the best donuts I have had in along time. The custard was amazing and the sourdough outer delicious.Please make these a staple.

Friendly staff, fast paced, good courtyard area to eat in. Steak and onion pie 7/10. A good mix of chunky and mince beef, little light on the onions and flavour but might have just been bad luck, but was otherwise tasty. Turkey baguette was tasty and good value. Sausage roll was pretty disappointing for a bakery, tasted just like something from a servo.

We were regulars @ the Bakehouse prior to Covid. It was a favourite for breakfast. The service was friendly & efficient. The food of good quality, & reasonably priced. We were therefore surprised that with the end of Covid restrictions, breakfasts as we knew them, were no longer available. Very disappointing. No matter. There were other places available to us. We wanted to continue to support the Bakehouse, but are finding it increasingly difficult. Our problem is that whenever we buy a lunch roll/bun, the price varies, even though the fillings are the same each time. Last Friday we bought two schnitzel buns, an apple pastry. & a plain coffee scroll. The cost was an eye watering $44.30 There is a very limited pricing board, displayed, so difficult to work out the likely cost of your purchases. A more comprehensive price list would help customers decide whether the purchase is of good value. The food is still of good quality, but overpriced. There is a large choice of rolls, buns, etc, as well as cakes. & pastries. Bread can also be purchased. The staff are efficient, but there's something lacking. There are tables both on the footpath, & around back, as well as inside. Entry has a couple of steps to navigate. The parking is limited free parking on the street, although there are car parks within walking distance.

Great selection of food and very freindly service, we sat out the back while the kids played with toys and went down the slide. With a great atmosphere with plenty of trees,plants and birds chirping away. Me and wife had the egg,bacon and cheese rolls were awesome we had to order more. Our latte's were perfect temperature along with a good taste. The price is really reasonable too, will definitely be back.👍

Just tried the vanilla slice even though we asked for the half and half. We drove off and discovered not what we asked and paid for and then the pastry was uncooked and very tough to eat. Not coming back!

This was such a great find. We just went for a drive to Portarlington for something to do. It was nice to go in and we bought some really pastries, donuts etc for afternoon tea. They were really nice. The staff were lovely and friendly and happy to answer my 100 questions about their products. I wanted sourdough but they only do that weekends.

If you are looking for an authentic NZ Yeast Doughnut, THIS IS THE PLACE. The Meat Pies and Sausage Rolls are also close to authentic Kiwi Meat Pies. Service and Staff are excellent! Highly recommend stopping in and trying the Jam Doughnut! The Coffee is also spectacular!!

Cannot believe the prices here! So cheap. Amazing. I had the lemon cheesecake donut (I believe it was called!), so soft and flavourful. Not too sickly sweet. Lots of vegan options too. The store looks very cute too, like a little 50s diner with a modern twist. They even have their own merchandise. My friend bought two of their decently sized cups for $10! Great price. Would definitely come again.

Great place. Wasn't overly busy when I went. Was served quickly. Plenty of choice. Bought a 6 pack box and coffee. Also bought their brand of cups that come with their own matching coloured spoon. Not over priced which was a change. There are tables outside with a lovely view in the Portarlington store. They also have great music playing.

This place is packed constantly with line almost going outside of the shop. Lots of flavours. All donuts are ‘Australian’ type (no holes in the middle). The jam are a bit overly sweet for me, lucky I got coffee to go with the donuts. Would definitely want to come back and try the other flavours.

Daniels doughnuts I can't fault them OMG yum Krispy cream doughnuts were th bomb but Daniels wins hands down, ive tried a lot of different flavours a couple I wont eat but others I will n sometimes im spewing that they don't have a couple flavours in all th time. Staff r all easy going n i need too get back down there again soon. Highly recommended to all to get ur bums down there or to their belmont store

Clem, I couldn't coscionably give this place a good rating as it probably represents our sugar-crazed society and the vast health ramifications that come with it. That said, apparently the donuts are pretty nice, so if yer in town and feeling like a fix, maybe it's a good place to stop...

The best chunky beer pie ever. Award winning pie. Perfectly crusty from outside , perfectly chunky beef , amazing sauce and super hot. Our son Yohan and daughter in law Quynh brought us here and drove 80 kilometres for this wonderful experience . Keep up the good work guys . Very well done .

Got the steak bacon and cheese large pie. Pretty decent pie but I would have just like the meat to be of better quality and less grislty, but the gravy was one of the better ones I've had in Victoria, and the crust was nice, too. Also, I like bacon sometimes in pies, but I prefer just a steak and cheese pie most times. It would be good if you had that option, but otherwise it's a solid pie. Service was great and staff are nice 🙂

Amazing pies. They definitely live up to their award winning standard. The service is extremely fast and the pie and dessert choices are plenty. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good sit down lunch or a quick snack on the run. The prices are very reasonable too plus they have home options as well for those looking for frozen pies. Catering platters is also available too for sandwichs, hot food and slice platters.

We stopped here to grab a couple of slices for afternoon tea. Its a nice big cafe with lots of options. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. We bought a vanilla slice and jelly slice. They were ok but unfortunately not something I'd come back for. Next time though I'd love to try their pies.

Very tasty pies. We had the Pesto Chicken & sundried tomato and the Creamy Mushroom and truffle pie.

Got a classic meat pie and sausage roll. Very average run of the mill. The sausage roll was below average and was given to me in quite a state (see pic). The pie was average, slightly soggy base and not enough filling, the filling was also too firm and not saucy enough, paired with the soggy base this made for a tacky mouth feel. Price of $5.7 for the pie puts this right in the middle of the average range.

The best bakery! I have tried almost everything. The jalapeño brisket beef pies are addictive and the jalapeño sour dough is next level! I order sandwiches and wraps from there every week. The coffee is great too and all the ladies in there are lovely.

Usually pretty decent, however the apple cake continues to disappoint. The lack of apple just makes this a shortbread biscuit with icing. 6 pieces of apple internally is abysmal.

Good pies and great slices for when you’re done at the You Yangs. Steak and pepper pie was elite and we’ve been back multiple times for the vanilla slice as it’s my partners favourite!

One of the best pies I've had in a very long time, stopped by this bakery on the way to Geelong. Would recommend their brioche beef burgers and beef pepper pie. Can't wait to visit again ❤️❤️ keep up the awesome work and flavors

Visited on Saturday, 12 Dec 2020. My bike group lead has highly recommended this bakery & said the bakery has "super quick service, fresh food, wide variety, and every body does everything". And it is exactly the way it is described. Friendly staff, and super quick! I really want to ride through Lara soon, Just for this bakery.

As a regular ongoing customer I purchased 2 mocca rings and a hedghog slice on 6/8/25, I had to repeat myself 3 times to the lady, apparently a "learner", which the reponse by supporting staff member (black hair) was handled quite well. However I had to repeat myself to the supportive staff member a further two times. On the third time my husband stepped in and said the order again. I turned to the lady with blonde/ brown dyed hair that service was extremely frustrating, as customer feedback - nothing more. The response I recieved with strong sarcasm and said,"Oh Im sorry about that!" I WILL NOT BE BACK, as it should not take 6 x times to make such a simple transaction and being rude to a customer from appauling customer service, let alone block a customer rating on Facebook. Absolutley shocked! BEWARE OF RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE

A lovely spot, in a small alley on the main street where you can retreat for a break and a bite to eat. With a selection of savory pastries and sandwiches, as well as plenty of sweeter options for a light snack and coffee, this was the perfect spot to sit and relax. The outdoor seating in the laneway provided a quite retreat from being on the main road/walkway, making you feel as though you were relaxing on the streets of a small town someplace where all everyone did was sit in cafes with coffee and cake.

This place and the staff are next to amazing. The food is delicious and the place is always clean and tidy. Cant thank the staff enough for the friendly manner and putting a smile on my face. Would recommend this place to everyone. Keep it up guys. AAA+++

If this pandemic has taught humankind anything, particularly economically speaking, it's that even the most thriving of small businesses cannot survive without community. This quaint spot tucked in the corner of the Pakington Street arcade might be aesthetically inviting, and while this alone could be enough to entice ravenous passersby, let me be unapologetically frank when I publicly share this judgement based on my experience today – that judgement being that this venue failed to embody any sense of mateship. The staff member working this afternoon, who could indeed be either the manager or head honcho of what I assume is a newly established hospitality business, looked genuinely frustrated at the sight of patrons. Given the fragility of this climate, the pandemic induced loneliness so many have felt at some point this year, I was offended by the lack of care offered by this particular staff member. I understand we all have bad days (some are often worse than others), however this does not grant one licence to be discourteous to paying customers. My advice to this staff member is simple: nourish the community in which you’ve decided to serve, not with food, but with kindness. I’m fearful that if you continue to show your diners unsubtle signs of exasperation, your doors will not stay open. To the barista who greeted us with a smile, thank you.

With a heavy heart I had to give this bakery 2 stars. I ordered a chicken and leek pie and a sausage roll and to my dismay, I found my pie very ordinary. My sausage roll was quite nice and the other items within the shop looked good too but the star of the show and one of the most important things at a bakery (might I say) being the pie, was bland and lacking a strong chicken and leek flavour. This pie goes under their, specialty or gourmet range, so naturally came with a high price tag which unfortunately did not correlate with flavour. I think if I ordered standard beef I would have enjoyed more.

Been going here for years, never been disappointed. Their specialty pies that come around every once in a while are surprisingly refreshing in a bland world of servo four n twenty abominations. And the coffee is nice, can't go anywhere else for it nowadays. And the tatted bloke is funny 😁 always treats me like family.

I asked for an Apple Pie ($16 plus a $4 surcharge for daring to use my card) and when I got home it turned out to be a meat pie that they had sold me. I phoned the bakery to tell them, and I was told to bring the pie in so they could see the evidence. Being sold the wrong product, and being told I am lying about it! Disgraceful.

Purchased 3 pies and 2 drinks just before 3:00 PM. Lady was sweeping floor at door when arrived, pies in warmer with labels on front - we ordered pies that had stock behind labels she told us that wrong told which actually there as closing soon (in 1 hour). Went to eat at table outside she packing up said can't use, asked if could eat inside she said no they closing the 'dining area' - doesn't take an hour to wipe down 1 table. We had to eat the mince pies sitting on a bench in street, awkward and messy. Pies been in warmer too long dry and hard to eat, chargef full price despite she saying trying to get rid of. Rude service, pies not that good and not fresh. Portarlington Bakery same day friendly quick service happy to have customers sit down - completely different. This bakery if don't want to stay open until 4:00 as per sign close at 3:00 and throw out remaining stock, then staff might have a better attitude.

A bit hidden for those of us who visit Geelong infrequently, but delicious, light and airy doughnuts. The specialty toppings change monthly I'm told. We were easily convinced to up size to 4 for $20

Donuts are yum but felt a little over cooked I.e. too oily. Flavors are nice though and good service too.

Staff was really nice and very helpful answerin any questions we had! Good selection of donuts with good flavor but it was all about that dough = AMAZING; so fresh and soft! I was thoroughly impressed! At $5-$6 a donut they're quite expensive but i'd pay that any day! The cinnamon scrolls are same price but BLOODY MASSIVE! Could have more cinnamon but still delicious with perfect ratio of sweet glaze icing! Definitely will make the 2 hours trip again for these!

So average, wouldn't recommend it to my friends and won't go back. Bought two donuts for $12 and can't say I really enjoyed either. Despite looking pretty they were just kind of bland and flavourness, and these are those more cakey/heavy donuts vs light and fluffy

do not go here! i found a long black hair in my bacon and egg wrap and instantly felt sick to my stomach. the staff ( which there was only two girls working) flat out admitted to us that they do not wear hairnets when preparing food. i’m utterly disgusted.

This is another bad example and experience that my daughter and I had today 8/8/25 Muffin break in Westfield Geelong. We just wanted a good cup of coffee and a nice fresh apple cinnamon muffin. We bought 2 cups of small flat white coffee’s and 2 apple cinnamon muffins, and a s’mores cookie. Paid $ 26! Ripped off and wasn’t fresh! So once again looked ok but obviously wasn’t worth a cent! Wasted time and money and made us feel sick once we tried to eat it. Muffins were displayed still in their original tins! Trying to say they just came out of the oven! Tasted powdery and floury no flavour of apple or cinnamon! Coffee tasted like burnt milk and no coffee taste at all! Well what did we expect from a company Muffin break? Fresh? No! Stale overnight leftovers! Company should be ashamed of themselves serving food this way, should be inspected by the health department! Made my daughter and I feel unwell as this food safety practices are not being taken seriously! Never again going back! We are giving Muffin Break minus zero. Do yourselves a favour Do not support or buy from Muffin Break, you do not want to feel sick because of them! 😡😡

The coffee I ordered was nice and the perfect temperature. ☺️ The $9 muffin and coffee deal made for an affordable meal. 💛 However the raspberry coconut muffin I had hoped to enjoy was not pleasant... 😕 Texture was unpleasant and taste was lacking.

I gave one star for the coffee. It's reasonable coffee. Up until a couple of years ago, I'd been happily going to this Muffin Break for years. In recent months I've been returning and have been shocked by the deterioration of standards. My recent visit is my last. For a muffin place, there is very little variety of muffins any more. I like a savoury muffin. They used to be heated and come with cream cheese. Delicious. Now you need to ask and if you're lucky you may get a frozen packet of butter. My recent visit my muffin came cold, dry, hard. Not fresh. Their cheesecake slice is basically gelatin with no flavour. The only thing edible is the base. My coffee came in a takeaway cup , the muffin in a bag and the slice in a huge plastic container. What a waste. All goes into the bin. Why are we no longer getting cups and plates? Even the teaspoons are wooden. Staff are not happy and poorly trained. I can't see how they will continue in business, they've certainly lost mine.

Girl on register doesn’t understand English had to point out in the cabinet the quiche and the cherry tomato pie 🥹 then had to ask for a long spoon for the large hot chocolate and finally my client got a fork and knife for his pie and l only got a knife and no fork for my quiche.

Was looking forward to enjoying a nice piece of my favourite cake, (carrot) with a nice cuppa. Cake was old, dry, cold and hard. I think I have finally been cured of over indulging in carrot cake and tbh, may never eat it again! It is also difficult to enjoy any food when handed a utensil that resembles a wooded paddle pop stick! We definitely would not recommend or consider returning.

Dropped in for a coffee at about 3:45pm and was given a paper cup, disappointing. Just because they didn’t want to wash two cups… coffee was ordinary as well…

This is a place to get iced donuts that taste like an iced donut should!! They have so many other items, however, I have just tried the donuts as they as exceptional. There is iced, cinnamon sugar, Nutella and hot jam as well.

Best cheese & spinach roles ever!! Cant wait for Ocean Grove to open. Would have given 5 stars all round but not enough tables inside and can get noisy when there is a group. Love this place ❤

Great food and cold drinks for after a surf 🏄🏼‍♀️ the pastry on the pie was yum as was the filling. We topped it off with a bagel with pesto, chicken and sun dried tomatoes and a chicken salad roll. So good.

Loved our visit to Paddock Bakery in Geelong! We ordered a lot of food to try and everything was delicious. The crème brûlée donut was the standout — so good! Coffee was spot on and the staff were really friendly. Such a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal.

Went to this gorgeous space in Geelong for a work lunch. Food looked amazing and I ordered the fried chicken burger. Serving was generous but the sauce didn't really agree with me. The space was big and had a warehouse feeling with plenty of room for kids/family or large groups. Service was at the counter due to the size of the space. Would like to come back and try some of the pastries as they looked amazing.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Can't believe we haven't been here before! Was a busy morning with a car show out front but ordering was still nice & quick & service was great. Plenty of parking around also. Had the Toad in the Hole. Not quite like the British version of this dish. It was a nice thick slice of bread with the eggs cooked into it, topped with avocado, bacon & sambal (on the side of the bread that was cut for the eggs so you can use a little or all). Can't remember what my husband had, possibly bacon & egg roll? Either way he was happy with it! Absolutely delicious. A few options on the menu I want to try so will definitely be going back.

What a find! One of the best Cheesecakes and best muffins ever! Landed up in the old mill area accidentally but found this amazing bakery spread over a really large area with indoor and outdoor seating available. Tried the Cheesecake and muffins and the lady serving recommended having the cheesecake with fresh berries if available when having at home. It was delicious! I have tried cheesecakes from multiple places but this was undoubtedly one the very best I have tried. Will surely be back to try the other items on the menu soon.

Visited the Paddock bakery Geelong a short while ago for a catch up with mates. Ordered a couple of coffees and a veggie burger. The quality and taste was brilliant, the decor lovely and the staff ever smiling. Can't recommend this place enough if you're around the mills. Kudos Paddock team!

Relaxing venue with good indoor or outdoor seating. You will likely find something for everyone on the menu including bakery items, reuben roll, and acai bowls. Generally friendly service where you pickup a menu at the entrance, find a table, and then order at the counter. Service could be better as food arrived for members of our table at considerably different times.

Stumbled onto The Paddock Bakery whilst attending a car show out the front. Well, I have eaten quite a few egg and bacon rolls in my time and this was… well a contender for the best ever. The sourdough roll was not what I was expecting. It’s almost a cross between the flavour and crust of a sourdough with the softness of a brioche. Very very nice. Had a coffee and my son had a strawberry cream milkshake both very nice. They also make donuts on site, you can watch them being made. Finally the service was great, staff were friendly and efficient. We will be back.

Don’t get me wrong, the gluten free food available here is excellent - if you can ever manage to find the place open!! I’m not sure how a business can stay operational with such terrible hours. They are always closed-to a point where I’ve stopped wasting my time shopping there.

If you are celiac or just eat Gluten free as a lifestyle choice. This is one of the best stores around. The food is amazing. You can buy and stock up the freezer. I cannot talk highly enough of the store, the people and the food.

Second time attempting to go, after driving 25km, both times the shop is shut - outside of hours that are showing online. Multiple customers outside. Won’t be returning !

Was there at 4.04 today to b told closed . I asked why as sign on door clearly states open untill 4.30 . Young girl serving says 4.30 means she has to b out of here by then and she has till to count and floor to mop . I said then you need to change opening times on door . She said “ dont have a go at me - take it up with my boss “ to which i replied well your either open untill 4.30 or not . I shut door and left . Staff member then came outside and yelled down footpath “ i dont like your attitude, dont have a go at me “ another customer also commented hold on we have every right to be frustrated. Sooo manager of Geelong store please stay open untill 4.30 as advertised or change sign on door.

First time here and so amazed with the variety! Had a hard time picking which dessert to have and decided on the blueberry danish, eclair and fruit tart. As a baker myself I must say I am impressed with the quality since gf baking is very finicky and more difficult than non-gf baking due to the lack of gluten which is what holds pastry together. As a result gf pastries usually break apart a lot easier than non-gf pastries. The fruit tart and eclair tastes exactly like non-gf and very delicious! The danish, of course you cannot compare to non-gf, was pretty good for what it was. I found it to be a bit soggy and I’m not sure if that is because it was frozen and not fresh out of the oven? There were also freezers filled with a variety of pastas, dumplings, pies, sausage rolls etc and other breads and sweets available. The only complaint I have is the lack of seating - there was only one table and two chairs. Most people came to take away. Being gluten intolerant this place is a godsend and I will be coming here very often! Thank you and please never close down.

Walked into shop, wasn't greeted and ignored. Staff was very rude and we felt like she didn’t want us there, asked if they had a certain pie that that had been advertised on the sheet and they didn’t have it, they only have low stock for being open in the morning. Another lady walked in and she was friendly so we walked out as we felt unwelcomed and treated bad for walking in and trying to buy something.

Stop in at the Ocean Grove store for great donuts..But the service and coffee are at best dismal..Don’t listen, can’t follow simple instruction.And when do you ever make coffee with cold milk…I think instant is the exception!!! ? Maybe a brush up at barista school ?

I only got a hotdog. A $7 hotdog. Served without a smile in a stale bun with weird-tasting translucent tomato sauce. I normally give effort in these reviews with honesty. This place is not worth the effort. The hotdogs at the Waurn Ponds franchise is always good: soft bun, fresh bun, normal tomato sauce - that you can walk around and eat. By the way, I'm not begrudging the $7 because everyyyyyything is exie these days. I'm begrudging the cost-to-enjoyment ratio: the crusty, crumbly bun got over me, over the table, over the floor. I had to sit down to eat this messy thing (have a squiz at my pics).

Went there accidentally was lost, both of the girls were lovely to me. I bought a doughnut and coffee. They were delicious. They even gave me driving instructions to where I was going. I can’t complain service with a smile.😀

Today while ordering my take away donuts, an elderly lady who was nicely spoken asked for a coffee. The girl serving replied it would have to be in a take away cup as they were packing up. The lady then asked what time do you finish as it was clear she required to sit down with a porcelain cup, the girl replied 5pm. It was 3.40pm at the time but the girl refused to change her mind for the elderly lady. Does it take 1hr and 20 minutes to wash one cup of coffee? Complete disrespect for the elderly. I will not be returning again, maybe you should hire staff with less attitude and more professionalism.

Extremely rude. Made another person's coffee before mine and I had ordered before her. Lack of respect and customer service. Disappointed

I find it hard to believe.that you can't get a flake shake at 10 to 5 when they close at 5.30pm. I was told we are about to shut it off. I asked 3 times and got told same thing. I asked who the manager was and then all of a sudden i could have one. I was going to buy a dozen hot donuts but was told that was also finished. I wish my boss would let me prepare to go home that early.

I would like to say a Huge Thanks to the staff at Donut King. I ordered 2 coffees and cinnamon donuts, the coffees were great and the donuts were piping hot as they had just been made.

What an incredible Patisserie, Situated in the Geelong region. We bumped into these lovely ladies at the Barwon Head markets and I can’t begin to describe the flavours and textures of these incredible tarts and pastries…they were truely amazing and definitely made with love ! We can’t wait to call in again, next time we’re visiting family 😌🥰

We arrived after the ferry after finding this bakery on google maps. Wow just wow. Delicious food. Our kids said it was the best food they ever had and my danish was superb. Coffee great and service was lovely. What a lovely business.

A must visit place to enjoy good pastry! I am a fan of their Almond Croissant and Cookie Dough and Hazelnut Croissant. Oh, and their coffee is amazing!

Found this small little bakery with a few seats during my weekend getaway in Geelong. As a croissant lover I had to get a classic croissant, and I tried their bear claw with diplomat cream & raspberry as well. Freshly made in house, decent priced (similar to my fav bakery in Mel) but I mist say the taste & texture is a lil underwhelming for me. I love flaky croissants with a lil chew, buttery, but this one here is a lil bready, layers were on the thick side, not exactly flaky and can take a tad more salt, although decent buttery taste. The bear claw was also lacking a bit in flavor, not sweet nor buttery and texture is similar (as expected as they would have used the same croissant dough). Their coffee is ok too. Nice little discovery nonetheless.

Tried bear claw for the first time and I’m a new fan! Also ordered a coffee and it wasn’t bad, wish it was better though. There’s no tables, but there are small stools for people to wait for their order.

I visited on Christmas Eve 2022. I went at 7:45 in the morning and there were already about 20 people waiting in front. 😯 At 7:55, there were about 30 people in line behind me. 😮 However, all orders were smooth. The staffs were so friendly, and pastries sold out quickly! I was impatient.😅. I bought 5 types of bread and they were all great. Hazelnut choco croissant has a very thick filling. The pastries are very Buttery and crispy! That’s the most important factor to me. If you are near this store, you must go there!

Really great selection of baked goods. The croissants and lemon tarts we got were delicious. However, when transporting them home they got a little crushed (only came in a paper bag) which was so sad as they were so beautiful!

Plain pie and sausage roll where really nice and got a bottle of softdrink all for $13.70. Service was really quick nice and clean. Only problem is the store is extremely squishy not a great place to sit down and eat lunch.

I went to this café recently and had a really disappointing experience. The staff didn’t ask me if I wanted to dine in or take away and just handed me my coffee and food to go. I noticed that other customers, especially women, were treated differently and received better service. When I asked about my coffee, the staff member replied rudely, saying she could make it now. I felt completely ignored and unwelcomed, which made me feel like my service was based on my appearance. Being in the retail industry for 10 years, I know how important good customer service is. I hope this café can work on treating all customers with respect and kindness, regardless of their background.I know she’s working alone but doesn’t mean she behaves differently.

It says they will open until 5:30. I was there at 5:10 already closed. Better to update the closing time.

Not happy at all service is shocking staff unfriendly told we couldn't use a mug but could have a cup becouse of covid asked the girl if she could clean the table when she brought out drinks was given a dirty look a walked of and didn't come back very disappointed would not recommend this place there are much better coffee shops in lara that offer friendly service great coffee/hot chocolate and food Routleys need to look at there customer service would not go back again and would not recommend this place. Customers have a right to be treated respectfully especially customers with a disability.

The pies are just ok. But, you can get a nice salad roll and the staff are happy to help with whatever.

Friendly staff Good variety of food especially the salad bar. Children welcome Handy for quick coffee before/after shopping at Coles. Clean public toilets . Good parking. Free.

The young man working sat 15th Feb 2025, was marvellous. It was busy and he was alone, but kept his cool, was efficient, personable and provided excellent service. So very impressed, especially as staff can be attitudinal in society today, if you have an honest request or complaint. Blessings to him for his future.

i always get soup here during work break because its always so amazing!! but today i came in , too one male working (he did amazing!) gave me a half a cup of soup that was frozen and out of an ice cream container:,) it was heated but when given too me it was half full!! obviously just not a very good day.

We’ve been to this bakery and the owner was so nice! The bread 🥖 was so fresh, and the pie and sausage roll was so delicious! I will highly recommend this bakery! We had hot drinks and cold drinks the staff are very friendly and very helpful! I will give a gold star rating. I will bring my friends and family. Cheers.

Stale sweet poppyseed roll. Not much else to say, other than it is dried out and inedible, it should not have been for sale.

A good place with a nice wide variety of different breads and other options for food and snacks, my favorite was the chocolate balls.

Look all the time its lovely. But today a new younger person had an attitude mayb the owners have changed. I am not sure. She gave me a burnt vegetable paste I asked for one not burnt no she said it's only brown. If I pay full price I would love a pastie not one left in an oven for too long.

Bought 3 croissants this morning (27.6.22) and was told they were freshly baked. Got home and opened the bag and noticed they were soft and the pastry was not flakey. Put one in the microwave for 10secs and all it did was slightly warm the croissant.............put it in for another 10 secs and ended up with glug!! Once bitten twice shy!!

Bought to meat pies and they were absolutely disgusting worst ever. I went and asked are these the only meat pies and the lady said yes I know the pastry is to thick and I’ll pass it on that your weren’t happy. I said it’s the worst I’ve ever had and lucky I’m not a tourist and this was one of the 1st meat pie I tried because I would be put off eating one in the future. Prime location and terrible food and service and was also dirty.

Come here if you won’t the most distasteful pie in the world no flavour it was a joke. I’ve got to say I’ve traveled throughout the world and Australia has the worse pies hands down and this place here is a prime example!

Ham and salad roll $9, 1 thin slice of ham, no beetroot, 1 slice of cucumber and some sad grated dry carrot. Sausage roll tasted like pure sausage mince too. A bit of a sad experience unfortunately, won’t return.

Today we went into the bakery. Myself and my 4 kids . The shop was empty, which was strange as Ive been here many times before. My kids were polite at all times as always. The RUDE old hag with a blonde Karen cut did not want to serve anyone. She was nasty the whole time, she would get an item out and say in a nasty condensing tone, is that it!!!! Every single time. We only ordered a couple of things as she was not welcoming AT ALL! When she new we were eating in, she wouldnt even speak to us. We sat down, and my daughter wanted to sit on the stools over near the window on her own as she liked looking out. Then came out the other rudest old bag of them all, she TOLD my daughter she did NOT want her sitting there because she had to disinfect and clean it again (even though my daughter wasnt eating because sge wasnt hungry). ... Before I left i told them both how disgusting the have been, and they have NO customer service at all.... I can see why theres no one in there now, looks like the place has changed hands, and its now somewere I will NEVER go again.... To the old bags that look and sound miserable, its YOUR JOBS TO CLEAN, its YOUR JOBS TO SERVE CUSTOMERS! Did you think that wasnt part of your job description! You are both disgusting, and seriously your food tastes like its days old.... I hope you go bust, and you live the remaining days of your miserable lifes cleaning out toilets for the council..... And becareful how to speak to anyones children again, because the next person may knock your block of!....... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1pm today 1 pie pastry was hard and dry and 1 Sausage roll only 2.80 but Taste like s*** .... What a waste of time and ingredients making them. 5/6/23 meat and onion pie sorry to say minced onion in pie is a NO NO. Lucky 7/11 is down the road. Lift your game people

Tried a sausage roll here today it was so dry i thought it was full of saw dust. Wife and I ordered a couple of pies as well both were very dry in the pastry as well. Steak and onion was very ordinary whilst the steak and mushroom was just passable, it all ended up in the bin, price was good though.

Was living down here a year ago and that coffee was terrible then. Come back to see family and friends and got tricked once again into wasting monney Here is a extra shot latte 😆 pale and flat. Im starting to wonder who the hell is teaching the population how to make bad coffee.... terrible, as it was a year ago

Fantastic little grab and go eatery and cafe, great Bay Maree of takeaway food, but the star of the show is the egg and bacon rolls with a variety of different sauces! Staff are always more than happy to cook anything fresh upon request! If they were open weekends I’d probably be broke! (Kinda wish they were) 10/10

Worst catering company I have ever dealt with , do not get them to cater anything for you as they won’t communicate and likely won’t turn up. I booked them for a grazing table for my wedding 12 months in Jan 2023. Attempted to contact them three times December 2023 only to be told I’ll have to wait to speak to the owner after Christmas as the person I was speaking to only did social media. I then got in contact with the owner Jarryd who told me they don’t do grazing tables anymore. I will acknowledge they said they would still do it for me but at an increased price. Reluctantly I agreed as the wedding for 2 months away. I couldn’t get a hold of them after that so I booked someone else out two weeks out. Horrific communication. If they had of proactively reached out and let me know they canceled those services and it would cost more for me to continue it would be a different story but I had to chase them for weeks only to be advised of the situation. Not sure why their social media employee wasn’t aware they didn’t do grazing tables anymore but it seemed like they were just trying to sweep me under the rug rather then be honest An absolute joke - avoid at all costs !

This little gem is nestled amongst residential homes. It’s got a funky exterior and a comfy interior. It has delicious bread that is baked fresh daily from next door. The day I went there they had a small selection of goodies but it seemed very popular with the locals. My coffee was delicious.

Staff were really friendly and hospitable. I ordered the scroll which was quite a nice size for a mere $3. Bread itself was soft, but I think mine was slightly under done as some parts of the dough still seemed doughy. Good amount of apples and sultanas though, and overall enjoyable.

Went there for scallop pie , unfortunately they didn’t have any on the day. However we tried the sausage rolls and it was delicious! Piping hot and stuffed with carrots and zucchini as well, perfect on the go snack - the only down side was their curry pie was a bit too artificially flavoured - with only I think curry powder as the flavouring. The pastry was delicious tho

Curry pie has no curry flavour. Just like a plain mince pie. Disappointing. Wishing we tried the sausage rolls they looked great.

Best Cornish Pastie I've had in a very long time. Good size chunks of veg, nice light pastry and very well seasoned.

Dropped in on a Saturday morning without looking at the open times. Although they were closed Ian was there and still allowed us to purchase some pies and slice. What a great bloke and great customer service! The pies and slices are always great tasting and great quality. You have to have the tradies breaky pie on your way to work! Love this artisan bread. Highly recommended the olive Tuscan bread, Spanish onion & cracked pepper and fruit loaf. All three are outstanding.
