Great day at Purobeach. The beds are comfy and it’s nice how they give you two towels. Service was good and the food was nice - slightly on the expensive side. Overall would recommend!

A wonderfully well-organized beach club. We’ve been to a few Purobeaches in Europe now and they’re all very consistent. Competent staff, sufficiently high-priced to ensure a calm environment but not so high priced as to keep it out of reach for mortals. Food was okay but you’re not there for the food. Enjoy!

Great place on the beach, however service was appalling! Over 20 mins for a water!! Asked for the menu 4 times and still never brought out to us! Gave us bills we had already paid quite a few times,think they were definitely trying their luck, thinking we had drunk too much and would keep paying - luckily some of us were not drinking and made sure we were paying the correct bills only once! Just really bad service here, would not book again! Shame cause later afternoon the DJ and party vibes were great!!

I am very pleased with what your club in Vilamoura is all about. I chose this place to host my friend's birthday party. I really liked the location, the general atmosphere, the great service, the delicious food, and the very friendly atmosphere among the other guests. I've been to similar clubs in other countries and often guests behave inappropriately, but here the atmosphere is relaxed, respectful, and relaxed on high. Worthy

Extremely expensive for what you receive. We booked a front row pair of beds which had incredible views of the sea, however, the fruit bowl and small bottles of water were inadequate for the price paid. Also, whilst the staff were friendly it was incredibly difficult to get their attention and we spent a good portion of the day trying to order a drink or food, all of which were overpriced. I had the deep sea calamari which arrived cold and on top of a very small salad. The afternoon was spent surrounded by seagulls and after ordering one more drink we decided to leave. We did have a relaxing time and the music was nice, however, for the price paid it really was not up to the standard we expected and unless prices are seriously dropped or the food and service is greatly improved we would not return. This beach club could be incredible but sadly is not run in a way that enables this currently.

You don’t get good food or a reasonable price, but you do get loud music and a whole party of employees clapping enthusiastically if you celebrate your birthday. All in all, this looks like a “fake fancy” spot that might just fit if you’re just looking for a party dinner.

In my opinion, the best restaurant in Vilamoura by far. Very reasonably priced compared to the marina. Service was outstanding, the food was delicious, tables not too close together, good background music well lit to create a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a bit of a walk from the marina, quite tucked away but well worth it. Book in advance as it does get booked up.

Sept 2025. A party of 20 of us went for a birthday bash. Food was delicious and the staff were efficient and attentive. Good music and a live saxophonist.

We had a brilliant evening and the drinks are a very fair price. The atmosphere is a lot of fun and the majority of staff are so lovely! However, there is one particular male barman who made myself and several other women feel very uncomfortable. I spoke to many people that evening who felt the same. He lets the place down sadly, it should be welcoming for women.

Unbelievable food. Best Thai I’ve ever had and staff were brilliant. The set menu is brilliant just enough and every dish was untrue. Been today with my partner and our friends and booked for next week also. If web booking is full give them a call especially for lunches as they do their best to fit you in. Lovely restaurant and lovely people. And very good value for money

In the top three meals we've ever eaten! Everything was incredibly delicious. I had the seabass fillet with shrimp rice which was packed of shrimps and flavour. My husband had a steak and potato which was the most buttery potato we have ever tried! The beers were cold and fresh and the white Sangria was lovely! Puddings were just as good. Our server was super friendly and we didn't feel like we were rushed and throughly enjoyed our time there. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting a nice meal on the marina. Book to avoid disappointment

Amazing dining experience! This restaurant has a beautiful view of the marina! It has indoor and outdoor seating! I came here with my family and we all loved the food we ordered. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the service was very friendly and attentive.

This place is fantastic, everything about it was amazing. I had the black pork cheeks and it was absolutely outstanding and one of the best dishes I have ever had. Top service, top food and I will definitely be revisiting. Thank you Akvavit!

This place is amazing! The food was so delicious and the servers were friendly and made amazing suggestions that won’t disappoint. We had the grilled squid which was probably one of the best I have had that was cooked just right and tastes very fresh without that weird chewy texture. Then we shared the seabass rice with seafood which was ok the catch of the day menu that was so delicious we ate the whole thing. Absolutely amazing! I will definitely come back. I recommend making a reservation at least 48-72 hrs before bc it gets fully booked fast. They take walk-ins but you will most likely have to wait a min of 30 min or so.

DING DONG WE HAVE A FIVE STAR CHAMPION We just waked by and this place looked good. We asked for a table for two and were immediately seated at an excellent table. The Sangria was terrific, the Jumbo Tiger Prawn was fantastic, ad the Seafood stew was pretty good as well.

Had lunch here. Friendly service, and nice food. Fairly typical prices for the marina, which is about double the price compared to anywhere else we've been. 100€ for 2 simple mains plus 2 kids meals and soft drinks. A holiday treat, but nothing special in terms of value for money.

Hen party of 17 visited Atlantic Bar! Kiara was great organising us before the event and whilst we were there. Super helpful and made it a great night for our hen! The live music was amazing.

We sat in the Marina side, very comfortable and plenty of space between tables. Food was excellent and very tasty. The toilets were well maintained.

If you have visited casinos in North America then definitely not worth the visit if you are expecting the same experience.... If you want to spend some time in front of a slot machine or on one of the few tables then it is worth a visit...

Decent little casino in the heart of Faro. Clean and well-maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere. Not a huge selection of games, but enough for a casual night out. Staff was polite, though not overly welcoming. Good for a quick visit, but not a must-see attraction.

WORST CASINO EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE – I WALKED OUT WITH €7,000 AND A HEADACHE Let me start by saying: I won €7,000 at Casino Vilamoura — and I still left feeling like I’d been mugged in broad daylight. That’s how bad this place is. Everything was fine until I started winning. Once the chips started stacking in my favor, the dealer’s entire demeanor changed. It went from neutral to passive-aggressive to outright hostile. I was no longer a guest — I was a problem. A threat to their fragile little setup. I had two hands on the blackjack table. Tried to hit one — the dealer flat-out ignored me. Just stood there pretending not to see my hand signal. I tried to double an 8 against a 6 (textbook play) — she refused. Not “you can’t,” not “casino rules” — just refused like it was her personal decision. It was beyond unprofessional. It was insulting. The atmosphere turned toxic. The staff gave me looks like I was stealing from them. Sorry for not being another drunk tourist feeding the machine. Apparently, if you don’t lose like an idiot, they treat you like one anyway. Yes, I walked out with €7,000. But not a single “congrats,” no smile, no class. Just glares, resistance, and tension. Felt more like escaping a hostage situation than winning in a casino. If you enjoy being punished for playing smart, go ahead. But if you value fairness, fun, or even the basic rules of blackjack — STAY FAR AWAY from this place. This isn’t a casino. It’s a circus. And the clowns are running the tables.

Not really one for Casinos but a few in our party wanted to visit. I did leave €20 to the good thanks to Portuguese dice (more luck than skill). It was a well run place with smooth money to chips transfer and an ok atmosphere.

There are almost no players in high season. I came for Texas Holdem, but there was me and an other candidate…so no playing when I was there. Therefore it lacks atmosphere. It had potential, but much had to be improved!

Truthfully if you're planning to play at the live tables don't come here, came on a super busy Sunday evening, only 2 live roulette tables were open with everyone swarming around them and 1 blackjack table with the same players being there for the 30minutes I was spectating. If you are a slots player you will probably love it as they have hundreds of machines, entry was very speedy with a passport, but without it, you will be waiting in the queue for ages until you get in if you are trying to get in with a UK driving license. Bathroom facilities also seemed quite janky and unhygienic.

I visited with my two sons and they were very happy with the experience. You begin by scanning your passport or photo id to enter. You need to be 18+. Then you have a large selection of slots to the left/straight in and the other tables to the right. We went browsing the slots before deciding on a bunch with progressive jackpots that seemed popular. We played for about 2.5 hours and left with a profit. Some crazy people were hitting on the slots for luck? Security let them be because they didn't break anything. On the topic of security I was told not to use my mobile near the slots since there are apps that can be used to cheat, you can use it at the bar or any area not close to the slots though. Security was polite, I read some comments that they were not, but that wasn't true today anyway. A very good gin tonic was 7 EUR and I think you get water for free. We hopped onto the bus at the stop outside and went to our hotel, happy we decided to visit. Observe the white duck of luck that was in a puddle outside 🙂

Came for a roast today. Was told the regular menu wasn't available for the kids, to then see another table have food off the menu. The roast was lovely but can't say I'd be back in a hurry for just short of €20 for a plate or €10 for kids.

Stopped in for lunch, wasn't busy at all. Table service outside but we ate inside, order at the bar as you would in UK. 6 of us, all different choices, all very happy with the food. Club sandwich was great! Friendly staff. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and food.

Lovely pub on the marina, food is really good and affordable, went a couple times whilst I was away and I would definitely recommend the two person sharing platter. Would come here again :)

Had day 2 of a wedding here and we all had a great night. We had food and drinks out by the marina first and later we moved inside for a great night of Karaoke. Usual drinks available and ideal for a large group. Go on get in there and try it yourself.

It's a bar for men. And women who are young and want attention. You come here to have a drink and get shit faced. Nothing more to it. Don't like it, but it seems to work. It's a very popular spot. People generally seem 'happy'. Service was good. Hard to keep eye contact. And I'm a woman. This bar is for men. And party girls.

Very nice bar with a 2e glass of wine from 5pm to 8pm. The brazilian server is really kind, I was there with a friend and my son and he was so nice to us. We will come back 🙂

Best bar we found in Vilamoura, shame that we didn't find it till halfway through our holiday, happy hour is amazing prices, pool is charged by the hour but its reasonable if you can get through games quickly, the staff are great and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Rubbish! Happy hour my backside!..... Do not bother going! Pool table charges by the hour, so please be aware if you want to play! 1 star out of 5 is all its worth, in our opinion. Verry misleading/no information provided. We got stung....., but will not return. So we will not recommend. Would give 0 if able to!

Next came the tuna steak, seared just right — tender on the inside with a slight char on the outside. You could taste the freshness in every bite. It was paired subtly with seasonal greens that complemented the fish without overshadowing it. Surprisingly, one of the best dishes wasn’t from the sea — the mushroom grill. Earthy, juicy, and deeply flavorful, it was the perfect vegetarian counterpoint to the seafood offerings. A real treat even for meat lovers. To tie it together Monte Velho red wine added — crisp, citrusy, and refreshing. It elevated the entire meal and showcased the region’s underrated wine culture beautifully. We loved the desserts - Eton Mes dessert freshly served with berries and some lava cake .. what more you could ask for ???

Phenomenal! Absolutely outstanding food. As a fisherman, I know what truly fresh fish tastes like — and at The Fisherman’s, that’s exactly what we were served. The “sea-caught” fish was filleted right at our table and paired beautifully with fresh vegetables. The wine we enjoyed was both excellent in quality and very fairly priced, complementing the meal perfectly. Overall, the value for money was exceptional. The sole was on the pricier side, but understandably so, given that it is a highly sought-after fish — and worth every cent for the quality and freshness we experienced. The service was exceptional, delivered by the husband-and-wife owners who were warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging. What stood out even more was the atmosphere: tables are thoughtfully spaced apart, offering privacy and comfort — unlike many marina-front restaurants that cram guests in just a few centimeters apart to squeeze more tourists in. I’ll definitely be back to this gem of a shack!

We had dinner at The Fisherman’s Shack last night, and it was hands down the best value and quality meal we’ve had in Vilamoura. My fresh tuna steak was cooked to perfection, and my partner’s swordfish was just as impressive. The service was also wonderful — warm, attentive, and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We came away from the Fisherman's Shack a little disappointed with the food. The grilled sardines lacked that really crispy, grilled exterior and were, if anything, a little soggy. The garlic prawns were tasty, but somewhat overcooked. The sauce that accompanied the mussels marinière was really quite bland, lacking in garlic, shallots and white wine. The seafood in the Cataplana was nicely cooked, but again, the sauce lacked any intensity or depth of flavour. The staff here were really lovely and the service couldn't be faulted. It's just a pity that the food itself wasn't as good as we had expected.

I've been to this fish restaurant many times and the quality seems fluctuate. Cod was good but not excellent. Salmon is below average. However, the monkfish and prawn rice sometimes turned out amazing. For the quality, it's over priced. The environment feels a bit stuffy and packed. The service is very average.

After ready the many reviews we decided to book Julius as we had already had a meal on the harbour and in Quarteira and it was suggested that Julius was good value for money. We booked a table for eight which included a 4 year old and 14 month old. To be totally honest the harbour restaurants are better value for money and the service is 100% better, one assumes this is due to competition. It felt last night that the waiters were going through the motions, there didn’t feel to be a personnal touch as there was on the harbour. The drinks were more expensive (€5 for a large beer which isn’t that large)as the harbour restaurants do happy hour and the food was the same prices €29 for a fillet steak. The children menus is limited and considerably more expensive than the harbour. The food was well presented with a decent choice on the menu, the grilled squid which was on the special board was very tough, when this was mentioned to the waiter they just shrugged their shoulders. If you don’t want the crowds of the marina Julius is OK but be prepared to wait for your meal. We were sat down for 40 mins before our order was taken and had to ask for our drink order to be taken In my opinion after visiting restaurants this week the harbour isn’t any more expensive than the good restaurants on the back street or even in Quarteira, yes the prices have increased over the years but that’s everywhere.

This is with out doubt the best restaurant we visited on our stay in Villamora.It is set in a small courtyard just by the Taxi rank . Service very good, food was delicious everything was fresh and tasty. You must try this place, and not over expensive. We had a first class experience.

We stumbled across this restaurant in a lovely square setback off the main marina many years ago. We return a couple of times every time we come to Portugal, several times a year. It has consistently excellent food, large portions and great service.

This is a great restaurant with a great menu that is backed up by the service, food and drink. You must try this place first class. Review number two, we first went to this restaurant in 2023, we went back this year 2025. Once again the food, drinks and service was as good as it was in 2023. Please give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Nice place, tucked away in a courtyard. Good quality food. Not cheap though. The covers are €3.90 each which is pricey. It's worth experiencing. Restaurant is not big so I suspect in the busy season you would need to book. I have shown the bill which gives you an idea of prices and what you get. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, well presented as the photos show.

Great service and atmosphere! At midnight the party starts, the music gets louder and the lights dimmer and a new crowd starts coming to the dance floor. You can’t bring in outside food like a birthday cake. The entrees are good, the sauces are good. The main dishes are alright, the “costletas” were very soft so well cooked, just flavoring could be better and the rice side was good but lacked something. The “NasiGoreng” was good just some of the shrimps were bad so that needs to be checked in the kitchen. The desserts were very good, the only one that needs some work is the mango sticky rice, the rice needs to be worked upon. The crispy rice chocolate mousse was very good, but the best dessert was probably the salted caramel petit gateau. For anyone who likes coconut then the coconut dessert is for you, very well done and with beautiful presentation like all the dishes. The service received was also good, with attentive staff) which was constantly around. The ambient and atmosphere is well done, the audience is still being found, currently it’s different groups of people with too much mixture but that’s usual in a new upcoming club restaurant. DJ was also good. great music selection. Thanks for the meal and experience. There is potential going forward!

I had high expectations for Motao Vilamoura given its hype and location, but unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. What stands out the most – and not in a good way – is the sheer arrogance and unprofessional attitude of the staff. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were being judged rather than welcomed. The staff behaved as if they were doing us a favor just by acknowledging our presence. Basic manners were lacking – no greetings, no smiles, and a general air of condescension throughout the service. Any questions or requests were met with cold, dismissive responses, and at times, outright rudeness. This kind of attitude creates a toxic and uncomfortable atmosphere, especially in a place that markets itself as upscale and trendy. It’s clear that customer experience is not a priority here – unless you’re a so-called “VIP” or fit their preferred profile. The setting might be nice, and the music decent, but none of it can make up for the arrogance and lack of hospitality from the staff. There are plenty of other places in the area where you’re treated with respect and actually feel welcome. I wouldn’t recommend Motão Vilamoura unless you enjoy being looked down on while you spend your money.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The service was slow, inattentive, and careless. The food was overpriced for the quality — bland, poorly presented, and nowhere near worth the cost. To top it off, the waiter forgot to deduct the deposit we had already paid and almost overcharged us by nearly €200. Thankfully we caught it, but it showed a complete lack of professionalism and attention to detail. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, fair value, or competent service.

Excellent food! We tried the sushi, prawn pad Thai, chicken skewers, chicken gyoza, and the tomahawk steak — everyone was impressed. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and the service from Igor was outstanding.

Can’t believe how rude and dismissive the front of house female staff were. They tried to turn us away TWICE for inappropriate shoes that apparently didn’t conform to their dress code despite telling us the first time that everyone’s shoes were fine apart from only one member of our group. We had to wait 15 minutes with no explanation after already making a trip home to change the first time and we were already an hour past our booking time. They made us wait after telling us we couldn’t go in and then went to find a different member of staff to make the decision after we pointed out that they had just told us 20 minutes before that the shoes were fine and we’d already been home and back to change and weren’t doing it again. The girls turned their noses up at us and acted so dismissively and rudely. They stood vaping and scrolling on their phones, ignoring us while we stood there clearly being messed around by staff with a weird superiority complex. An uncomfortable and hostile experience from the get go. The food was average and considering the price, not worth it. Our server was actually friendly which somewhat made up for the bad experience but I definitely won’t be returning. Would recommend to anyone wanting to deal with the least friendly and welcoming staff you’ll ever find working in the service industry.

When a place pitches itself as a bit fancy you expect all the constituents of the service to be a a certain level. This place really falls short! Was with a group of friends celebrating a special event so ordered champagne. It too them an age to bring the first bottle out ( which they did with one of those ridiculous sparkler firework things spewing out the top) then it took them an additional 30 mins to bring glasses! The second bottle we ordered directly from the bar in the hope it would improve things. Quite the contrary when it finally arrived after we'd gone back to the bar to chase they came ( again with the naff sparkler thing despite us asking for them to remove this) then the waitress tried to pour into dirty glasses. Again it took more than 30mins and asking 3 staff members before we finally received. It's not that expensive tbh and the music they play is pretty much 2010's and pop eurodance remixes. Personally I would not recommend

Place is dead. Waiters are dead. Food is mid and not worth the price. We paid a deposit and they still tried to make us pay full price without deducting it and then they act dumb about it.

A small and very cosy Irish Pub, where You have to come early in order to get a seat. After live music starts the atmosphere often tends from cooking to burning. Sometimes the singing is so loud that people from other restaurants are attracted.

This place is way to expensive, might have music but overpriced drink, didnt even have toilet roll in ladies toilets.

The service at this establishment was offensive, rude, and unacceptable. We stood at the bar for over 30 minutes and watched people get served who got in line after us. I understand this establishment is extremely busy, but I asked the bartender (young short guy with a beard who was working with several tattooed women) to serve us next (while he was serving a person who got in line after us) and was ignored. We were extremely offended by that. The atmosphere was extremely poor and unwelcoming as well. I will never visit this place again and will relay this terrible experience to all relevant parties.

Served GLASS in our frozen margaritas, we didn’t notice until we’d swallowed a lot of it. Brought the fragments to the bar the bar man said :/ sorry. We asked for refund as we had to leave, he did not want to give one at all, said the manager was coming to speak to us and she was on her way. She didn’t appear after 20 min (bar was dead mind you) so we left because our Uber was waiting. Shame as it is a nice bar and things happen, but they handled it TERRIBLY. Very unsafe!!!!!!!

This place is a complete disgrace. Not only do they seem to ignore basic laws and regulations, but they also treat customers with zero respect. Everything about my experience was awful — from the rude staff to the filthy conditions. It’s as if they go out of their way to make sure you regret coming. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from here. You’ve been warned.

Best bar in Vilamoura! Service is outstanding. The cocktails are excellent- and made by a team who really know what they’re doing. Chilled out atmosphere, I’ve only been early in the evening - they play fab music with sport playing on the TV’s.

Very unhappy with service. Arrived at 10:23pm and was told by bartender “I only have one guy behind the bar I am not bothered to do cocktails” meanwhile this is the sign outside. Get a grip.

I have been eating at the place next door so I don't really know how their food or service are, but the lady that's been singing today has an amazing voice so this review is just to appreciate her talent. 👏

Great friendly bar with great bands and a fantastic George Michael tribute act on while we were there. The outside seating area is very nice. Nothing better than sipping a cocktail or a G&T on a barmy night. Wish I was there now. Can't fault it. Thank you Biddy Jane's.

Good spot just off the marina. Nice pint of coors and cheaper than on the marina! Sport on the TVS and nightly entertainment. Also a pool table there which is handy to the kids entertained ! Great restaurant next door

Such a disappointment!!! We’ve been regular customers of this bar since it opened when we bought our house in Vilamoura in 2007. It was a fabulous place - our favourite beach bar. Lively, friendly, clean, great music and fantastic service. We were completely devastated when they closed a few years ago but delighted when they reopened this May but under new management (part of the Dom Pedro Group). We went on Sunday afternoon and it was dead - just one table of 4 customers. The place is so bare and soulless. It actually looks closed. It is in desperate need of some furnishings like plants, pictures, candles, cushions etc. but worst of all the empty table we sat at was dirty. We waited and the waitress didn’t bother coming over so we assumed it is bar service. When finally the waitress bought our drinks over (in plastic glasses) with no smile, no hello, I had to ask her to clean the table which she did half heartedly. When the only other people left, their glasses and cans were still on the empty table when we left over half an hour later despite the waitress being on her phone and chatting. Needless to say we only had one drink - it was a real disappointment. We won't be going back sadly!!

Used to be good — now it’s terrible We had cheese and ham rolls, and they were absolutely tasteless. The rolls were stale, and the cheese was hard and clearly old. This place used to be great, but the quality has completely gone downhill. Don’t bother eating here — really disappointing.

They close at 6 pm but they start packing up at 5 they should get more staff old management was much better they should close later to see sunset

A disappointment!!! I've been a customer of this bar for over 10 years and recently went for the first time after the change of management and it was a real disappointment. This bar closes at 7:30 and before 7:00 we were already being pressured to order the last drinks. We explained that we didn't want to because our glasses were still full. However, around 7:10 we asked for new drinks and they said they couldn't serve us any more because they only serve drinks until 7:00. 5 minutes later they started piling up the tables and chairs, which was extremely uncomfortable, given that the bar only closes at 7:30 and there were still many customers enjoying their drinks. This is totally unacceptable! The waiter and waitress with afro hair were extremely unpleasant and arrogant the whole time. We won't be back!

I have been visiting here for over 10 years. I love it . It is right on the beach! I'm always amazed at how clean it is . The staff are great, they make everybody so welcome. I love the salads..... and the sangria!

Best bar in Portugal by far. Proper drinks in large glasses and with this view you can't go wrong.

My husband and I had the absolute best time at this gem of a place! When we travel, we seek out interesting and potentially special cocktail places, and this place more than delivered. A gorgeous bar, super friendly staff (thanks to Benny and Nelson for treating us like rock stars). The cocktails are light and intricate and show a true mastery of craft. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic experience, we were lucky to be hosted by Nelson de Matos, he provided us with one of the best cocktail experiences we’ve ever had. The cocktail menu is impressive on his own and the drinks are just as impressive.

The Argo has some of the most creative and complex cocktails we’ve had in Europe. Lucas as the Secret Poets Society Speakeasy in Lisbon told us to see about visiting Captain Nelson at The Argo. The Captain did not steer us wrong 🫡

I had an amazing experience at Argo, the staff were very friendly and the drinks were amazing. We were a group of eight people and each had a different drink and all of them were divine. I highly recommend this bar!!!

Amazing place long sandy beach and another side are red and yellow rocks. It's around 12km for walking along the beach. Good for hiking and walkable on the top of the rocks and by the ocean. Amazing views.

Just another overpriced beach restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We tried several tapas. The grilled squid didn't had any flavour or sauce. The tempura shrimps were like any other. The salmon poke bowl was good with fresh flavours. The ceviche was ok. The chicken salad wasn't that good. The grilled cheese with honey was ok. Overall the food was just ok.

Amazing restaurant, was recommended by a good friend who'd visited last year and it more than lives up to every expectation. Food was delicious and not expensive,, customer service was outstanding. The place is in such a lovely area on the beach and the music and atmosphere is great. Thoroughly recommend ❤️

We went to Maria’s to be close to the beach and watch the sunset. For this it was lovely. However the food was somewhat overpriced for the quality and what we got. The sole was well cooked but lacking in flavour and the cod was average. We have had much better in the area for much better prices. The service was okay, we waited some time for our plates to be cleared after our starters. Considering it’s early in the season and the restaurant wasn’t completely full, we found this disappointing. What it does succeed in is atmosphere which was pleasant especially at sunset.

We come here every time we come out to Portugal. Me and my family and friends love this restaurant. The owner and all the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Brilliant place to get an amazing sunset aswell, especially on the roof top bar 🍸 I would definitely recommend this place

Delightful lunch with friends today at Maria’s a big favourite of ours. Nice atmosphere, good DJ sounds, good food & great Bloody Mary’s.

If someone tells you that this place is good don’t believe them. The food was awful. -How you can make fresh squid taste bland I’ll never know no seasoning what’s so ever. -The ceviche was so limey a far cry from the one we had the night before at the boiled octopus. -The seared tuna was only seared on one side… so many questions did they forget to do the other side? The part that was seared must have been done for 10 seconds if that! Who’s training these chefs have they ever eaten any of the food they serve?? The only thing that tasted ok was the goats cheese salad - you can’t really mess that up & the Thai curry also pretty hard to mess up. Cleary the chefs on these sections are slightly better.. Then we have the drinks EVERYTHING had passion fruit in it WHYYYY - well I’ll tell you why they can’t make a cocktail taste nice with out it. I asked for a spicy margarita came with passion fruit errr that’s not how that comes so they remade it and it was undrinkable it’s tasted like pure lime I think at this point they was trying to poison us! Then we have the bottle ms still water - sooo low rate a plastic bottle did you run out of the glass ones and run to the local supermarket… Then we went upstairs to have a drink it was like a scene of teenagers in the wild.. some so drunk they couldn’t even stand. One trod on my toe he didn’t even notice cause he was so consumed in gropping his girl friend at the bar in front of us. I don’t know if it was because I’d had 2 sips of an alcoholic beverage but all I could think was get a room or at least get on only fans and get paid for it… All in all it’s a no from me. I only wish I’d taken pictures of the wonderful food…

Loads of variety, staff are friendly enough and about average prices/value for money. All in all worth a visit if you are in the area. They never disappoint.

We love it, everything was delicious and also the prices was good and when you finish they give you a little wet hot towel to clean yourself. We have to park behind the restaurant and is easy to find it in Villamoura

The Spring rolls were absolutely amazing they had a unique taste to it that made it amazing. For my main course I had the chicken curry full of flavour and the chicken was so tender and flavorful.the atmosphere was amazing. I would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.

Have been many times...usually nice food and reasonable service. Have tried to book multiple times this week on the phone - no answer. Popped in to book tonight and was barked at by the rudest waitress known to man that she had no availability for tomorrow despite her not even checking. When I queried that I had called multiple times with no answer her and a colleague simply shrugged that they must be busy. Meanwhile the restaurant behind was half empty. Certainly won't be busy with us again - go to Golden Marina instead, round the corner, better offering, better service, same cost.

Absolutely fantastic, one of the best Chinese restaurant I've been too. Service was quick, food fresh and delicious. Cleanliness 5 star, new and modern feel. Definitely a must.

Another critique: their excellent duck in orange sauce is faaar faar to sweet; worse than eating pure jam. You don't taste the duck anymore

Good inexpensive prices considering the location. Small inside, no outdoor seating, but nice decor inside, friendly staff. Portions are small, but hey, the prices are low too. 2 dumplings in my opinion were pricey though for 7.00 euros.

What a stunning place. Was taken here by some friends, the setting is stunning, especially if you manage to book on the terrace. The staff are really top tier, always approaching with a smile, engaging and informative. The food we had was incredible, fresh, zesty and prepared with the utmost care. Bender even filleted the fish for us, so don't worry if you aren't a fish master. Have already been back for a friend's birthday and as we now live in PT, BJ's will be firmly on all our 'to visit' lists when we have friends and family to stay. Thank you BJ's and to Andre Felipe for the music that got everyone singing along.

Unforgettable Family Meal We were lucky enough to get a booking at BJ’s Oceanside Restaurant on a Friday night in August. We were seated in the outdoor area, giving us a great view of the live band playing, and the sunset. We cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Everything was perfect from the friendly, welcoming staff, the excellent food, and the awesome music, which all made for a perfect evening with an incredible atmosphere. It was a night that we’ll never forget and we’d definitely recommend you come here, if you want more than just a meal!

An unforgettable experience! Located right by the ocean, the view alone is worth the visit. The seafood was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Combined with the dreamy, relaxing ambiance, it felt like a perfect coastal escape.

Truly fantastic experience. Delicious meal that easily accommodated my gluten free needs. Didn’t take any good photos because I was too busy enjoying eating. The service was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive with a large party including children. The patio seating was beautiful- a bit loud with the wind but that can’t be helped. I’d love to come back and highly recommend this place! So much fun.

An absolute vibe! Really buzzy atmosphere in an awesome beach side location. Very friendly service and the food was good. There was love music when we went which really added to the atmosphere. Felt greeted like old friends, and in fact many of the people arriving were clearly regulars and that's testament to the treatment you get and the feeling of the place. Book to avoid disappointment. We waited 2/3 hours for a table (which was our fault not theirs!) but it was no problem, we went to the beach and listened to the live music whilst we swam! Not for people looking for an authentically Portuguese experience, very ex-pat heavy 😅 but certainly not to it's detriment.

This place is an EXPERIENCE, not just any place to eat. It was our favorite dinner we had on our honeymoon while in Algarve!!! So much fun, the kindest owners, talented live music, delicious strong drinks and tasty food. Not to mention the beautiful sunset. If you're staying nearby, you HAVE to come here one night. Make a reservation!

Dropped in just about lunch time and sat on a comfy sofa on the decking overlooking the sea to watch the world go by. Had a lovely mocktail which was perfect on a sunny day and a small snack of calamari. The waiter's and waitresses were very freindly and helpful. Even out of season its a lovely place and I would recommend it.

Great beachside location with attentive staff serving superb seafood. Top tip: Calamari served grilled or with olive oil and roast garlic. Recommend the latter preparation followed by the apple crumble 👍

Very nice restaurant between Vale de Lobo and Faro, with a sea view, the beach is close, the food is tasty. We had calamars followed by grilled sea bass with a salad. Nice atmosphere, view and service! Obrigada!

Absolut fantastic location especially now in the low season (November). The seabass was one of the best we ever had (and we had many 😜)

We go regularly for the beach view and ambience. Haven’t had many meals but what we have had was okay - nothing to rave about. To be honest you can so much better for food elsewhere but that’s not why we go there so that’s ok. Beach/foreigner pricing ;) (as in you are paying for the beach b/c these drinks can be had in other parts of the Algarve for half the price). Staff are great!!

Inadequate organization and service. At the entrance, we (two people) were dismissed with a simple "sorry" by a very stressed employee when we asked for a table. There was a chill-out area where people seemed to be waiting for a table. He had to desperately try to figure out who was waiting the longest for a table, while so many tables were still free, cleared, and set. The stressed employees would also ruin any relaxation factor on the beach.

What a great place! The waiters and bar staff are on fire, attentive and responsive and giving their all to make sure everyone has a great experience. We were very impressed by the tasty food and lovely ambience too.

Went here with family for some tapas. Food is tasty while it is on the pricier side. Service is good and the staff will have several recommendations if you can not decide. We asked if they had anything for our 11 month old son, and they said that they have some fish nuggets, which is ideal for kids. Little did we know that they were 17 EUR fish nuggets 😅 My son was satisfied, though.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a bit of a mixed experience. To start, you’re required to put down a £10 deposit, which feels a little off-putting before you’ve even arrived. Once seated, I noticed that the menu is structured in a way where almost everything feels like a micro-transaction — even small swaps, like changing a sauce, aren’t allowed. Prices are very high, and while the dishes were beautifully cooked and genuinely delicious, the portions were disappointingly small. On the positive side, the staff were lovely — very friendly and attentive — and the outdoor seating area, although quite limited in size, is a pleasant spot if you’re lucky enough to get a table. Overall, the food quality is excellent, but the value for money just isn’t there. Unless you don’t mind paying a premium for small portions and a rigid menu, it’s hard to justify a return visit despite the great service.

Went out for a family meal here last night (Saturday). There were 12 of us and they put tables together so we had one big table. Service was impeccable throughout the night from topping up water and wine to being patient with the younger kids. Replaced dropped forks without hesitation and managed to keep the table clear and orderly. The food was delicious. The highlights for me were the gyoza, the pork, the octopus and the beef tartare but strong shouts to the John Dory nuggets and the salmon ceviche. The pacing of the meal was good, we were there about two hours in total. Decor is nice and they have fish tanks with the kids loved looking at between meals. Nice vibe in the place and the owner was friendly. Great place and would highly recommend.

A nice restaurant just behind the marina. Looks stylish from the front and was not expecting the nice little courtyard round the back. Food was served tapas style and everything came well presented and tasty. Highlight was the John Dory nuggets. We shared 4 plates between 2 with a starter which left us wanting more. However after ordering dessert this left us feeling full particularly the apple pie which was huge. Price was maybe on the high side at just over €100 for two with a couple of cocktails but in my opinion worth it for the quality and service which was faultless and attentive.

Absolutely love this resteraunt, second we stepped into the door with our reservation we were greeted with a warm welcome and able to choose whichever of the open tables we wanted. The food speaks for itself, it’s a tapas style food so 2-3 plates per person is recommended. Each dish was absolutely unreal. The food the atmosphere and the noise were all perfect. Highly recommend this resteraunt but would defo book in advance as can get quite busy past 8pm. Staff are very attentive and caring about the service and food they provide. Edit** Even came back for a second time on the last night and was class again. Would be my number 1 go to when going to villamoura or surrounding areas. 👌

Great venue, smart decor. Good service and food pretty much excellent. Starters we had scallops and tuna. Both perfect. Mains we had fish stew and Portuguese steak. Fish stew excellent, steak was cooked perfectly (medium) but was a little tough. Deserts were fantastic. First time I’ve ever had profiteroles that were freshly baked and still crispy!

Very nice restaurant with beautiful terrace. Upscale. Very good steak. I had the Don Alphonso steak with foie gras. Very good! The rib eye was also super juicy! Only downside is they do not have enough fans. It for really hot in there!

Based on the reviews, I was disappointed. Choices of sauces are limited for the steak. Went for the burger. It looked delicious but didnt enjoy it. Might have been the herbs but it was very sweet. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Didn't like they put bread and olives etc and then charge accordingly. Should be optional.

One of the worst meals we’ve had in a long time. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive. My curry was extremely salty to the point of being inedible, so was the children’s bolognese. What a shame. The cod was frozen and tasteless. the steaks were overpriced cardboard. The only saving grace was our server, who was a friendly and very attentive lady. We’ve been in Vilamoura for over a week and this is the only bad meal we’d had.

A great experience in a fantastic restaurant! Service was top class and the food amazing. Reasonably priced and in a great location just off the marina. The food was freshly made and well presented, portions were generous and flavour plentiful. We visited as a couple on a Wednesday evening and had about a q5minute wait for a table, which gives a idea of how busy the restaurant was, with anyone leaving saying the food was great. All in all a great restaurant to visit if in Vilamoura

Great name after 3 rounds of golf. Where else would you go. This is a great put with great live bands. It is also good for the live sport and banter. The Guinness is also good, so please give it a try.

Can't comment on the food. Great place to have a drink and watch the world go by if you have one of the outside spot. It's a haven, for watching live football, listening to karaoke, or taking part, they also have live bands play. One visit and you'll want to go back the next night.

Good atmosphere, plenty of seating and live music after 10pm. The food however was not very good. Over cooked meat and fries, frozen veg and pies with little taste. I think this is more a drinking rather than food place. The live music was excellent though.

Lovely little casual eating place, marina front Irish bar. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I would say evening time would have a great atmosphere. The Nachos were pretty good as all I wanted was a little snack, but they were plentiful. Great kids menu

Food was disappointing to be honest, we only ordered a sandwich and a burger but we both left half. The waitress were not in a good mood that day. There are so many better venues in Villamoura best to avoid this one.

No food, just drinks. Visited every night of our visit for 1 or 2 drinks before moving onto the next venue. Not ever server was thrilled to serve us but most were happy and made us welcome. A great drink selection. Causes a great debate amongst our group as to whether the giant wheel was mechanical or gravity/water driven. (We never did find out 100%. Ha).

Good place to watch football with drinks but service was terrible and unorganized. Waited over an hour for someone to take our food order and when it finally came it was frozen rubbish. In a country of great food this lot manage to serve up absolute garbage.

We came to this restaurant for the good music and the Irish pub atmosphere, but the experience was completely ruined by the appalling service. I haven’t encountered such rude and disrespectful behavior from a waitress in a very long time. This kind of attitude toward paying guests is absolutely unacceptable. If the management does not take action to train the staff in the basics of customer service and respect, then no atmosphere or music will save this restaurant from gaining a bad reputation.

We loved this resturant. We ate here two nights ago. The food was amazing, the prawn and monkfish kebab was delicious. My partner had the fillet steak surf and turf with a langoustine and he said that too was fabulous. The Old Navy prawn cocktail starter was the best I have ever tasted. The wine which was a local Algavian white was also lovely and came recommended by the owner. The resfurant was well decorated and the facilities were immaculate. A really enjoyable meal in a lovely setting over looking Villamoura marina. If you are visiting the marina dont miss this place!

Lovely experience here. Starter we had the mixed fried 12pc Portuguese starters (excellent). Plus the Hawaiian salad, which was amazing. Portions looked small but were actually more than adequate. Good value. Sea bass and Portuguese steak mains were both exceptional. Priced about the same as other locations in the marina but much better quality. Exceptional service and ambience. Our favourite place of the 4 days so far.

We stopped at Old Navy for a late lunch. It's normally very busy. Service was quick, we were seated and ordered quickly. We ordered steak in a bun, a salmon wrap both came with fries and a spaghetti bolognese and for dessert chocolate mousse. No faults with the service or the food, staff very friendly and accommodating. They have a dinner menu, and it will be worth going back to try. Nice view from the balcony overlooking the marina. I have pictures of the food and a video of the outside, but Google is not posting my review with them. Can this be sorted, vital information for viewers is missing!

This restaurant had great food and excellent views! We had the prawns with linguine, calamari, thai prawn linguine, surf and turf and seabass and snapper dishes and all were AMAZING! highly recommend

Great service, food very good standard, lovely views of the harbour.

Initially attracted by lovely location and impressive interior but quickly disappointed by slow service and rude waiting staff. After a long wait, further disappointment ensued when the food arrived. Mains dishes felt like starters. Restaurant was not busy but time between courses was so slow that we ended up asking for the bill instead of our desert coffees. Avoid if you can.

Great place to eat. My daughter and I had a wonderful meal. We had a glass each of Prosecco & a glass of wine. We chose the monk fish and sea bass with roasted vegetables. Amazing food. Followed by 2 deserts of apple tart and raspberry tart. The staff were lovely and very friendly. I would highly recommend it. I cannot wait to go back again

Bar is small, cosy and clean. It's cash only...I'm not sure if this was advertised outside. I was told when I was paying after drinks were poured. Very pleasant bar staff. Bar has loads of screens for sports... there can be three or four different options going at the same time. Good for spectating but not if you're in the middle and listening to different commentaries as well as the music also on offer.

Became our ‘local’, great little pub with friendly staff and great service. Wee suntrap through the day for sitting outside, and always enjoying the company of others on holiday. Will be our go to pub next time 😊

Didn't try or see food being served as only stopped in for a Guinness which was as good as I've had abroad. Creamy with no bubbles in head it's a rarity to find a really good pint outside UK and IRE .

Super Irish bar for sports, music and just hanging out. Good Guinness and definitely recommended if that’s you are looking for.

Without doubt the best bar in Vilamoura, great food, good selection of beers and cocktails. Recently had the wine sharing as a party of 6, hosted by AL himself, both the food and selection of 8 wines were outstanding, and AL's knowledge of the local wine growing areas made it a wonderful and informative evening.

Best Bar By Miles In Vilamoura . We had been a few times before . Visited on British Open Sunday in July and All Ireland final was on so as been before Al recognised us and gave us his air conditioned wine bar area with Tv . Amazing . What a guy and what a Bar . Also put the Kilmarnock Fc Europa League game on for us on the Thursday . First Class 💙💙💙💙💙

Amazing experience! Al is a bartending marvel!! The cocktails are craft/top of the line. The place is classy, smooth, comfortable and everyone is friendly! I only wish it was closer to where we live in Albufeira.

My wife and I have been going to Al's for quite a few years now, but with six friends, we recently got around to booking the wine-tasting experience put on in the adjoining venue. We were all without exception delighted with the experience - Al's knowledge, the selection of wines, the food and the ambience. We can't recommend this highly enough.

Came here a lot whilst I was away as the atmosphere was really nice. Drinks a bit more on the pricier side if you want cocktails but the beer is €4 (ish). They hold karaoke every night which is really good fun and the staff were lovely!

We've been coming here for 5 years. It's always an absolute must! Tasty cocktails, great music and very helpful, pleasant, happy, friendly staff. See you next year!

Didn’t like the staff on 2 occasions. We asked if they were playing the Leeds game outside before we got a drink. The man behind the bar said yes. We got 2 pints & went to sit outside. The man behind the bar then came out and told us he was putting the Coventry game on as 5 lads turned up. They will never get another euro out of me. The superbock is definitely the worst on the marina too.

Really recommend this bar! We were looking for a bar to watch a German soccer game and he put a lot of effort in and managed to do it! We asked for food but since they didn’t have some the said we can order somewhere and bring our own food in the bar! Price is total fine! Staying here 8 more days and will definitely come back! Super sympathetic and authentic bartender!

Decent pub on the marina beside popular restaurants. They didnt serve food but allow you to order uber eats which was great.

One of the few establishments that only accepts cash! Wouldn't mind if they'd told me when I ordered, but waited until I asked for the bill, had to use a cash machine that charged me €5 to withdraw cash. Think they knew i would go to a different bar, if they'd mentioned it. Bar was ok, but be aware of the "cash only" thing.

Awful, awful, awful. Terrible service, horrible staff and don’t take card which screams dodgey. Plenty of other businesses in the vicinity who offer a much better service. In a time where consumers are much more picky with their money and where they spend it it is fascinating that businesses like this choose to deliver such a shocking service. Blonde woman behind the bar particularly rude. Do better!

Amazing bar. The table service from Tatiana is Incredible! Drinks are probably the cheapest in Vilamoura with a large beer costing only 2€ during happy hour which runs from 12-9! We watched a few premier League games here and if we had discovered earlier in our trip would have probably spent the majority of our holiday here.

Tasteless place. Who on their right mind would open a pretentious bar right in the middle of a closed residential villa? Mind you, Honorio is the brand of the nice apartments and houses in Vilamoura / Quarteira. They decided they wanted to throw their reputation away and open a looks-like-any-other cocktail bar with a pool right in the middle of the apartments. Like one meter away from where people go to rest and enjoy their vacations. Low value sleazy live music is blasted off at high volume every night until almost midnight (which is not even legal in residential areas during the week). Good luck staying in and enjoying your night or going to sleep, as within a 5km radius you’ll just hear the insanely loud trashy live music. Go open a bar in a bar area, instead of bothering hundreds of people with your subpar attempts at pretentious nightlife.

Just found this little gem close to home! Haven’t eaten here yet so cannot comment on food, I’ve excellent coffee & service though in a really lovely environment. Lots of space, lovely layout suitable for events, great place to meet up during the day, charming male staff, happy to help. Thoroughly enjoyed Honório twice this week.

We had such a wonderful week here ar Honorio, staff are the most pleasant to deal with, every single one of them are genuinley, courteous, cheerful and helpful, nothing was ever too much. The hotel was very clean, pool was beautiful with a big screen tv, not an overcrowded space if you want some tranquil space. Location was ideal, just a short taxi ride to the marina, or you can take a nice walk there in 25 minutes. The menu and cocktails are fantastic and very good value for money.

Anyone around who cannot sleep because of the loud noise made all nights should send a complaint to the CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE LOULÉ. They do record the infractions. Hopefully, with enough complaints they will act.

Lick is an abomination. The noise (it cannot be called “music”) from Lick interrupts my sleep every night and I live more than 3km away. Occupants of the building are certainly suffering permanent hearing and cognitive impairment. There is no way that this club should have been granted a waiver of local noise ordinances.

We waited for 40 minutes outside despite a reservation for 28 people. We booked tables and bottles. Still you need to go to the waiters several times to make sure they bring to your table the bottles you bought. Last but not least it smells bad inside.

Really bad experience We were 30 and booked 3 VIP areas for 1600€ (what a rip off…) and had made a down payment of 800€ to secure the reservation - once we arrived they told us they hadn’t received the payment and wanted us to pay the entire bill all at once, even though we showed them the wire transfer confirmation We waited for 1 hour in the cold, until we finally obliged and paid Made us feel like dirt Once we got to our VIP area we waited 30+ minutes for our bottles. Poor service, poor communication, poor consideration for their clients, I don’t recommend

RUN, the biggest fraud ever. Giving one star as there is no option to give a zero rating. They announced a party (festa da tvi), with a 25€ entrance with one drink. We got in and the place was literally empty with a horrible sound (if we can consider that music). We talked to the manager to get our money back, they refused and for that reason we asked for the complain book, which they provided. When we asked for a pen, they said they did not have. A completely lack of respect for their customers. People like that should not run a night club, or any other place. The manager is rude, insensitive and shouldn’t even be facing the public. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Unprofessional, unbearable and disgraceful experience with friends at this nightclub. After waiting in the queue for 45 minutes with tickets purchased in advance we were refuse entrance without any proper reason. We firmly challenged this their decision and asked for proper reason and none was given as they continued saying "the house can refuse entrance to anyone without givin any reason". Not to meantion they also tried to intimidate and to strong-arm us. WARNING: your purchased ticket means nothing and you don't get to receive your full refund.

Avoid this club. Way overpriced and bad service! We were a group of 30 and booked VIP corners. First they made us wait 45minutes outside. Then when we got our table, we had to wait another 20min to get our drinks to our table...not customer oriented. It also smelt bad inside.

The evening was just horrible on the Insta are wrong prices the drinks are overpriced 15€ for a vodka-e. In addition, I was attacked by a woman because I bumped into her boyfriend, she hit me and went to my trowel. The bouncer did not undertake simply no security because the woman also after that several times to me and only then was intervened. End of the story I had to leave because hardly any English is spoken there and you simply have no chance to tell my version.

The club was completely empty at 2am and the prices were ridiculous. We paid 20 euros for 2 drinks and when we wanted to leave because their beer tap wasn’t working, they wouldn’t give us our money back for unused drink tickets. Overall, it was boring and a waste of money.

What an absolute shithole of the highest order. You need to buy tickets first and then buy a drink. The place is a cesspit.. avoid at all costs.. dangerous is an understatement.. place should be shut down

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a nightclub. We reserved a VIP area and they charged us amounts that were not in line with the expected quality. Bottles of very low quality alcohol and the club was empty. The place was a tourist trap. Next time I return to Vilamoura, I will go to Bliss, which is worth it

Absolutely horrible place ! DO NOT GO HERE! We called to book a table for my friend’s bachelorette party and they told us we must pay online because it will be fully booked! We ended up paying more than 500€ and when we got here it was so empty. When we asked for a refund, the boss can outside and was yelling at our friend group and pushed my friend and we called the cops. So so inconsiderate and false advertising!! DONOT COME HERE

If I could, I’d rate it -100000. Save yourselves the trouble and do not come here. This place is a scam, terrible treatment and fraudulent. Besides stealing your money and not returning it, they’ll attack you when you ask for the money back. We have an open case with the police against this establishment for fraud (they stole 500€) as well as aggression and abuse by the hands of the owner, no less, who is very comfortable threatening and slapping girls when asking for our money back. Do not come unless you’re fine with getting robbed, attacked and verbally berated. Worst experience of my entire life in a club.

They pressured us to book a table for over 500€ online saying (it will be fully booked) we accepted and pay and at 1:30 am it was completely empty, when we complained the owner insulted us and told us to leave the premises. Ok, firstly this is a marina front restaurant with prices to match, its the Algarve. Prices are clearly marked. If you cant afford to eat on the marina jog on to McDonald's, its just around the corner and will satisfy your tasteless palates more. As for leaving bad meals uneaten!!! Why? Say something, don't sit there like a cardboard cutout expecting your ar*e to be licked, complain, say something, or jog on to McDonald's, your big mac awaits. Fatty steaks? Depends on the cut you ordered, whats was it? Sirloin, ribeye, t-bone?? Certain cuts have more fat and you should be aware of what you like before ordering, if your not happy complain, it works wonders, if not McDonald's has the answer, jog on. Ignore the peasant riff-raff, nice resturant, good steaks, friendly staff, if your on welfare or shop at Primark...... McDonald's is 500 yards up the road, enjoy.

Sitting outside, is a lovely location. Food was a little on the pricey side, but then you are in Vilamoura. Service was excellent and it was a good stop for lunch, will use it again.

Great sports bar just recently opened. Pool & darts, TVs for sports, outdoor terrace. Really good full English served during the day, Great music after the sport has finished. Good mix of locals and tourists.They are now serving food in the evening. Had a great curry. I noticed a lot of people eating burgers when I was there.

Was staying in Villamoura for the week and stumbled across Legends bar for a few drinks and a game of pool. The bar turned into my holiday local. The owners and staff are so friendly and cater to your needs, offering local advice as well. One of the nights we got food whilst watching the football which i had no complaints plus the service was quick. The bar itself is stunning and is the ideal sports bar with loads of TV’s and a pool table. Owners did a good job in decorating it

Fell in love with the great vibe of this family-run bar and restaurant, just minutes from the marina. I'm addicted to their delicious English breakfast burrito with Cumberland sausages (ask for a side of beans, oh sooo good). It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. They also serve delicious burgers and sandwiches until 2 pm and other tasty snacks afterward. The bar is fully stocked to quench every thirst, from beers, whiskeys, gins, and more, to an assortment of cocktails and exceptionally impressive wines (for a bar) that will delight your palate. Believe me, I've tried many of them while hanging out with friends, watching the game (on any of their 7 TV screens), or playing a game at the pool table. The staff are warm and caring and have become like family to me, as I miss them terribly when I'm away. I am so happy to have found this hidden gem in Vilamoura that consistently delivers great quality food at a good value, with fantastic, friendly service.

The service is excellent and a great selection of Beers, wine and spirits. It has every sports match imaginable. The staff are super friendly and our food was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Been looking for a good sports bar since moving to Portugal in September and I’ve finally found it. Brilliant tvs, good English pool table and darts. Sports on all day, well pulled drinks and a selection of bar snacks. Went back the next day to sample the breakfast and it was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

This place is the best bar in Vilamoura by far with great drinks and atmosphere. The bar staff are truly amazing and talented Carlos, Joel and Rodrigo are great and Daniela all so welcoming. A new member of staff Sunil is also a nice edition to the team. Fab location in Marina also. We are always met with a smile. The bar staff will create Fun cocktails that can be made from their list or personalised for you. Also beer, Guinness, whiskeys, gin and local spirits and many more favourites are all quality genuine drinks so no bad hangovers. This place is good for all ages, family, groups of friends even couples or people alone everyone feels welcome. They have great mocktails too if you don’t fancy drinking and the coffee is the best. The food is good too. We love the large outside screen with live sports makes it good for watching the football or any sport. Also the live music entertainment makes it a hit for all ages. We have been coming here for many years.

Got scammed in this bar. They added a extra drink to our bill and wouldnt offer us a receipt. They then admitted they had "accidentally" added a drink to our bill and offered it to us which we didnt want. No refunds allowed so the waiter had to dip into his "own pocket". Trip Advisor suggests this the norm in this bar so avoid at all costs! We will contact the local town hall with complaint.

Terrible service. Despite the place being half empty, we had to ask for the menu ourselves like three times and wait far too long before anyone took our order. The food was a major letdown cold, dry, low-quality, and completely lacking in flavor. Honestly, it didn’t feel worth paying for at all. Strangely, the only thing they were quick about was interrupting us mid-meal to ask for payment.

My buddy Chance, from the Angling Team recommended this place. The staff here are so dam friendly, I thought I was at the gates of heaven. Cold, crispy local ales and some super duper views of the Marina. I’ll be back before you can say Mississippi Mud Pie!! Chad, TX

Frankie's is a Great place to eat, drink, hang out, watch some Golf. All the food we have tried has been spot on. This time we did Chili & Rice, Chicken Wings, Nachos. So delicious! The staff are very nice, friendly. Drinks come quickly! We love it and go whenever we are at Vilamoura Apt.

Most nights they have great live music. Cocktails are great, as are the staff.

I cannot rave about this place enough! First off - Irina on the day shift is a bright light in this world and the best! Miguel the chef - also amazing and so friendly. Secondly - the food!! The English breakfast, the ribeye steak with amazing sauces, the cheeseburger, the nachos, the bacon wrapped dates, I mean you cannot go wrong here!! It’s great fresh food at great prices!! Thirdly - the drinks 😍 from the cappuccino to the orange juice to the booze. All amazing and all great prices too! This has become our favorite spot here in Vilamoura. Go here if you love friendly service, great food and prices and tv screens/sports. Will update with more pics in the future. We dug in immediately so no pics today 😂

Worthy of 5 stars. Found this bar had opened with a new owner who does a fantastic job with the best cocktails in town. Food great too. Visited last week with my husband, we ended up there every night (even lunch,!) Highly recommended. We will definitely be regulars on our next visit!
