Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Red Deer, City Roast Coffee is a beloved gem that locals adore. This charming café boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax with friends or enjoy some quiet time alone. The friendly staff are always ready to serve up an impressive array of freshly roasted coffee beans, specialty lattes, and delectable pastries that pair perfectly with your morning routine or afternoon break.
Glad I made the stop here. Was in Red Deer for an appointment. Great selection of food (Sandwiches/Soups/Baking). Very busy at lunchtime. Got my food and drinks in a reasonable time. Got the roast beef and ham sandwich, and they were delicious. Coffee was ok, didn't have the flavor I thought it should have (Peanut Brittle and White cardamon latte). Will definitely be back.

A cozy spot with a relaxing atmosphere We came to this café for a bite and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I noticed a couple of customers ordering soup — I didn’t try it myself (not really a fan), but it made me wonder if it might be one of their specialties. I had the Turkey Havarti sandwich and really liked it — it was warm, toasted, and the cheese was deliciously melted. The mocha was also very good: foamy, flavorful, and just the right size for my taste. I went with my husband, and he had the roast beef sandwich and a mocha. His take: ”Great atmosphere, great mocha, good service, my sandwich (roast beef) however good lacked a bit of zip. Overall, we both had a nice time. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere, drinks, and service, and 4 stars for the food — mainly because of my husband’s comment. Still, it’s definitely a place I’d happily return to and recommend!

Service is fast, and the food is amazing. My personal favourite is the veggie bagel with an iced caramel dream made with oat milk. Please try the carrot cake! It’s amazing! Love to come here for lunch and sit near the window to get some sun. Music isn’t too loud, perfect for a relaxing lunch or late breakfast.

One of my favorite coffee stops in Alberta. They have an excellent selection of beans and lots of goodies to eat. This is a must stop in Red Deer for really good coffee. The staff are friendly and always very helpful.

Busy cafe but has ample seating for the size of the store. Really fun names for drinks. You know what? I appreciate that. I want to chuckle when ordering something. I want to order something absurd to the staff. But yeah good food, drinks and atmosphere

I've had some of the best sandwiches and coffee here, exceptional and friendly staff, A true gem of everything a downtown coffee shop should be.

Love me some City Roast. Cappuccinos are strong, the desserts are good and the staff are friendly. The honey cake is my fave. A close walk from my office. Glad to have this gem downtown.

Some food is good. Some is less so. I've had some moldy food or food past expiry but the baked good are delicious! Just be selective what you get.

Their sandwiches are all home made including the bread and are delicious, well worth the price. Their SKOR sugar cookies are addictively delicious too. I get a tea almost every morning from here aswell and its excellent. Only $2 for a medium.

The food here is all homemade, delicious and at a great price. A lot of love goes into running Cafe Millenium. I've been a regular for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience or bite. Recommend to anyone and everyone.

If I could give this food a 0 I would, the service asked me what I wanted. I told them the combo I wanted and they just gave me the main. They proceeded to not give me the drink or fries I ordered with my combo.FYI they called me racial slurs under their breath, as a struggling Canadian, I cannot accept this service

The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by ample natural light, perfect for snapping some Instagram-worthy photos. With plenty of seating available, you can always find a comfortable nook to settle into, whether you're visiting solo or with family and pets.
Dose simply has the best coffee in town. Perfect spot for early morning studying. Atmosphere is very home-y and quaint.

The baristas here are very friendly and open for conversation! Location is very nice, space is cozy, there's nice bright natural lighting here so it's perfect for taking photo's! Doesn't get too busy in here, there's always a place to sit. Pet and children friendly! Okay, onto the drinks! I recently tried their matcha latte (photo shown) and it's very good! Not too tart or too sweet, gives just enough of a buzz to get my day started. I've also had their espresso here (can't remember which roast) but it was floral and fruity.
Natasha S — Google review
This is a great meeting place for one to four people. Its in the historical part of Red Deer which will be obvious when you sit down for a fine cup of coffee.
Nick C — Google review
I had the Dolce Latte which was not too bitter and not too sweet. The barista made a little latte art in my drink too which I loved. I ordered a gingersnap cookie to do with it and it was so soft and very flavourful and was as big as my face lol. Then had a few tables and chairs set up outside as well which was very nice with the downtown atmosphere. The inside was very tidy and had a nice vibe. Loved it.
Ali H — Google review
Great service and nice cozy cafe! Tried a large charcoal latte and an oatmeal cookie. Bit pricey for latte but still fabulous. Cookie was so soft and chewy! Would come back!
Alfred Y — Google review
Adorable coffee shop with attentive staff! I had the chocolate lavender latte and it was delicious - I would of preffered a bit of a stronger hint of lavender but overall I enjoyed it so much I got a second. Also awesome variety of dairy alternatives.

Breakfast restaurant
Tim Hortons is a popular Canadian chain known for its premium-blend coffee, as well as light food options like pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Despite some negative reviews, our recent visit was generally positive. The staff quickly took our order and were friendly and welcoming. Our order was promptly prepared to our liking and according to our requests. The establishment itself was clean, with the staff diligently cleaning tables as they became available and tending to the outside windows.
I recently visited Tim Hortons and had a pretty standard experience. As usual, I went for my favorite – a Double Double. The coffee was just how I like it, with the perfect balance of cream and sugar that makes it smooth and satisfying every time. The baked goods were fresh, and I could tell they had just come out of the oven. I tried one of their donuts, and it had that classic Tim Hortons taste – sweet, soft, and just right. The service, however, could have been a bit better. While the staff was polite, the wait time felt longer than usual, especially since it wasn’t a peak hour. They seemed a bit understaffed, which might explain why it took a while to get my order. The restaurant was clean, though, and had a welcoming atmosphere, which made up for the minor delay. Overall, Tim Hortons remains a solid choice for a quick coffee and snack, especially if you’re a fan of their Double Double like I am, even if the service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day.
S_uzair — Google review
I got a steak creavable with potato wedges and a drink. The potato wedges that she gave me was only half the cup with small hard pieces of wedges at the bottom. I told her that she only gave me that much, and she kept on saying she gave me more which was a lie. We only took one piece when we realized that she only gave us few wedges
He Y — Google review
On my drive from Edmonton to Calgary, I stopped at the Tim Hortons in Red Deer and ordered the Habanero Slow Cooked Chicken Wrap — something I’ve eaten many times before. But this time, the size felt suspiciously light. Out of curiosity, I opened it up… and was shocked. What I saw inside was laughable: just two tiny pieces of chicken and barely a spoon or two of other ingredients scattered in a giant tortilla. It looked like someone made the wrap as a joke — lettuce scraps, a smear of sauce, and that’s it. I wasn’t expecting gourmet, but this was disrespectful to paying customers. If Tim Hortons is cutting corners like this now, it’s going to lose loyal customers fast. Do better.
Sarbjit S — Google review
I had to request a replacement order due to a serious food safety violation. The cashier (an Indian lady with poor hygiene) who eventually prepared my wrap was using her phone while wearing the same gloves she used to handle my food. Sunday, Aug 10, 2025 around 8:00pm
Maria M — Google review
I visit this Tim Hortons location every day for my coffee, and I always look forward to being served by Mandy. She’s consistently friendly, efficient, and welcoming. No matter how busy it gets, Mandy handles every order with a smile and great attention to detail. Her excellent customer service truly stands out and makes my daily coffee run a pleasant experience. Thank you, Mandy, for always starting my day on a positive note!
Dan A — Google review
Tim Hortons is always my go-to spot! ☕ The coffee is fresh, the food is delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I love how quick and consistent the service is every time I visit. It’s the perfect place to start my day — definitely a 5⭐ experience!
Amandeep J — Google review
We just stood 15 minutes in a lineup to order one chicken sandwich and a chicken bowl. When we got to the front of the line, the rude staff member informed us the had neither rice, nor chicken. When I told her that it was disrespectful of people’s time, to not have the ingredients to make half of it, but not put up a sign or even inform people waiting, she informed me that it’s not her fault because she’s not the manager. The blue haired manager was right there, heard the whole thing and did nothing. That poorly trained, rude, and obnoxious staff member has made it so not only will I obviously never eat there again, but will probably never eat at another Tim Hortons. That restaurant must be very desperate for staff if that is the kind of staff they have and the kind of manager or shift supervisor that they would allow to work there. I wish it was possible to give this restaurant less than one star and that particular worker negative stars. It also speaks to the poor management that they would have such poorly trained staff, not enough food ant 5 pm for their core dishes, and not empower any of their staff to solve the problem. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Literally eat anywhere else.
Elissa G — Google review
One of the dirtiest Wendys/Tim's restaurants I've been too. Flies in the Donuts and the place is dirty. The washrooms are the worst, never cleaned. Just Horrible..Can only wonder what the unseen areas of the kitchens look like..You can tell Covid is over, as no one cleans anymore. Will never go back.

I always end up smiling when I leave this location. The staff are so incredibly kind and they always make my drink order perfectly!! Delicious! Clean, too.

Worst Starbucks experience yet. The drive through was very slow. 3 of us ordered and every order was wrong even though it took staff a very long time to fill our drive through orders. The man at the windows was pleasant but the order was completely wrong. Even attempts to have them correct our order resulted in further errors to our orders. My drink was supposed to be decaf. But it wasn't. They had no pike or reasonable substitute so the other person had to take an americano. The other person in our car asked for lactose free, but it was not. We had to drive over to another Starbucks to have our orders replaced.

Thanks to my customized strawberry drink! It was made by Josh. He’s very friendly and gave me great service. The staff were also welcoming when I arrived. Highly recommend!!
Vanessa R — Google review
Very disappointing experience at this Starbucks again today seems to be a trend here. My spouse went to get coffees for us and asked for 2 drinks one of which was a stirred iced caramel macchiato… he was laughed at when asked for stirred. He was quickly given the white chocolate mocha and told the other one would be a bit as they were still stirring it VERY sarcastically. As someone who has once worked at Starbucks and has heard the 5000 modifications some people ask for a simple stir shouldn’t be this difficult nor is it a reason to be rude. Barista Linda your customer service absolutely sucks!
Zak C — Google review
No greetings! Did not know what to do. Not sure if the baristas enjoy working there today! Nevertheless, drinks are superb.
Ika N — Google review
This Starbucks excelled at processing my order from start to end. The team members here were accommodating and friendly - I will return! I visited here 15 minutes before close, ordered blender drinks and pastries, and they were all perfect. I’ve never had such a fresh, warm cheese danish. I would have liked to have seen more merch.
Rebecca S — Google review
I went to make an order and I'm very particular with the way I like to make my drinks because I used to work at Starbucks in the 2000s, the girl taking my order was arguing with me and then literally laughed at me for my order, just because I want it a particular way. so rude, if I did that when I worked at Starbucks I would be fired that day, I'm never returning to this location again.
Shakti D — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location due to the rude behavior of an employee named Jho. Their attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. When I asked a simple question about my order, Jho responded in a dismissive and rude manner, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Customer service is a big part of why people come to Starbucks, and this kind of treatment is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and provides proper training to ensure all customers are treated with respect.

The Bistro on Gaetz is a wonderful establishment that offers a wide range of delicious food options throughout the day. From breakfast to lunch, coffee to snacks, and even ice cream, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The owner, Jean, is not only passionate about providing great food but also supports local artists by selling their prints in the cafe. Additionally, they are involved in charity groups that give back to the community. Jean's wife even makes pies that customers can take home with them.
I love this place. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, snacks, ice cream, it's all good. Jean, the owner, is also a huge supporter of local artists (you can buy prints there!) and charity groups- his wife even makes pies you can home! Bistro on Gaetz is a hidden gem RIGHT downtown. It's a delicious place to shop local. Go there right now and get a cinnamon bun and london fog. Or GIANT cookie and herbal tea. Or confetti square and black coffee. Like I said, it's ALL good.
Meghan W — Google review
The review about the Library-esque atmosphere was right. Only about five baked goods to choose from. Didn't try the coffee. What I had was a dessert or snack type item. It was. . .I wouldn't give it a 3/5 but I've had much worse other places. I I only got heartburn from it. I think if this were a mall kiosk it'd be a better use of space as no one seems to go in and sit down.

Over the years, this inviting bistro has always been an excellent choice for me whether I opted to visit with a friend in a cozy nook while enjoying tea and a custom grilled cheese sandwich, or I purchased an Italian soda to cool me while checking out the Wednesday Downtown Market on a beautiful summer day.

The Bistro is a great breakfast , lunch or Coffee/Tea stop. My fav is the Raisin Bran Muffin... plump, moist and flavorful with a hot or iced Chai (locally made by The Chai Wallahs). There are seats outside for nice weather and a few very nice shops on the street. Locally owned!!!

Today was the first time I have ever felt the wrath of an employee. I was juggling my app to my credit card to load my Tim's app. The female Asian employee was very short with me told me to hurry up even there's no one behind me and I'm trying to do it quick as I could but the app is glitching. She basically filled me with bad toxic energy over a couple extra seconds. She yelled at me saying next time come in the damn store. Super rude no customer service skills at all. My day was so off after that. She should be talked to about how she handles customers. It's the first experience with her. The farmers Wraps looked like 5 year old put together barely any food in them. I don't think I will attend this location again.
Cheri M — Google review
Dont buy food here! I usually stop here for coffee and a bagel on my way to work every day. Today the drive through was pretty busy so I decided to go inside and omg this place is dirty! They had the food cart pulled out so they could change the names on the display. Under was so much dirt and grime as well as a rodent trap. If its been weeks since they have swept under there, I wonder how long it has been since the rodent trap was cleaned out. Looking around on the floor and there were piles of dirt and bits of food everywhere. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Gross!

October 8 at around 12:35 p.m., I ordered through the drive-thru, and the order taker was very rude and disrespectful. She was also at the payment window but didn’t greet me, make eye contact, or say thank you. This was my worst experience so far. The crew member was a Filipino, it’s disappointing and embarrassing to see someone from the same country act that way toward a customer.
Vianca _ — Google review
The female manager at this location is one of my favourite people who work there. Her 2 sons who work here are also very fine young men. This is the best location in my opinion.
Susan P — Google review
I get an iced capp pretty much every day. Ya, ya, I know... lol. This is by far my favorite location. Mark is awesome. Most of the other staff members I've dealt with are great, too, and the iced capps are almost always fabulous. I like that they tell me when I order if they are a bit runny, so I have the option of going elsewhere. Once, I chose to order despite their warning, and then when I got to the window and paid, they handed me the cup, and I saw that it was way worse than I expected. They had no issues giving me a refund when I decided I didn't want it after all. Fantastic service. Definitely recommend. 😊
Caressa R — Google review
Management needs to focus by training their employees to be hospitable on your customers. It’s always the woman in the drive thru shouting and rushing the customers to pay.

Get it together tummies. You customer service is terrible. Wouldn't even give my husband his change, asked for a black coffee, got with sugar. Can't speak English very well, all I could here is another dialect. Absolutely disgusted. And it's not just this location, it's every location. I'm done.

Tim Hortons is a beloved Canadian coffee chain known for its signature premium-blend coffee, light meals, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. On a particularly challenging day, I stumbled upon a Tim Hortons and decided to indulge in an Iced Capp to lift my spirits. To my surprise, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff instantly transformed my mood. They genuinely seemed happy to serve customers, creating an inviting environment that felt more personal than just another café.
The staff did a great job of juggling the drive thru, mobile ordering, and the storefront! Even though they were busy, I got my wrap super fast and everything tasted great! The staff were super friendly and helpful! 10/10 will definitely be coming back here on the regular.😁
Kathleen S — Google review
I really like that this Tim Hortons has a spot to park bicycles (it’s the first one I’ve seen with that! 😊 However, there aren’t enough tables and chairs, and my son had to grab a table quickly before we couldn’t find any place to sit. We ordered three Ice Caps and enjoyed them. The only problem was that several customers couldn’t use the washroom. The door code didn’t seem to work, so maybe the lock was broken or tricky to open. Overall, I liked the place, but it would be great if they fixed the bathroom code issue and added more seating.
Ellie L — Google review
The staff are friendly and efficient, and they made sure my order was perfect. I had an iced capp and a grilled cheese both fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is well maintained. One of the best Tim Hortons spots in Red Deer!
Grace V — Google review
Ordered a toasted bagel through the drive through and it was super quick. Less than 10 second wait. And I know why… it was in the toaster for 5 seconds. Didn’t cut it either. I’ll go elsewhere in the mornings if you can’t even toast a bagel 😂 I will say the window staff were friendly.
Britani W — Google review
I recently had a very unpleasant experience at this Tim Hortons location. The staff was rude and displayed discriminatory behavior. I had a promotional offer for $1 off an iced coffee with a donut through the app, but the scanner couldn’t read the barcode on my phone. Instead of offering helpful support, the staff member rudely handed me a tissue and told me to clean my screen. When the scan still didn’t work, she impatiently told me to wait, then without asking for my permission, she deducted my reward points and applied a discount. I wasn’t even given a choice or explanation. This kind of treatment is unacceptable—both the poor service and the disrespectful attitude. I’ve been a regular Tim Hortons customer, never coming back to this location.
Arshad K — Google review
I ordered a 2dozen donuts and take 12 coffee and had a really great experience. The customer service stood out: the cashier was so friendly, told me I could have a seat while waiting, and made sure I was informed that it might take a few minutes which I really appreciated. Despite being a bit busy, I even noticed how well they helped each other to keep things moving. My order was accurate and fresh. Great teamwork, friendly staff, and quality service.
Shannah B — Google review
I was having a really rough day today—completely out of sorts. In the middle of it all, I saw a Tim Hortons and decided to treat myself to an Iced Capp to cool down and reset. I didn’t expect much, but walking into that location genuinely turned my day around. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There was such a warm energy in the place—like they were happy to see me, not just because it’s their job, but because they genuinely care about creating a positive experience. Their smiles, even through the smallest interactions, felt sincere. It wasn’t forced—it felt like they truly loved what they were doing and appreciated me being there. I left not only with a refreshing drink but also with a lighter heart. It may seem like a small moment, but their kindness made a big difference in my day. Tim Hortons should be proud to have a team like this—people who greet with their eyes and connect with you in a meaningful way. Thank you for turning my day around. I’ll definitely be back.
Karenn J — Google review
I was at this location around 11.20 to be exact. I ordered a couple of steep teas because i was headed to a meeting, the order taker was rude, the lady working on the drinks was even more rude. First, took them soo long to prepare the order, then with an attitude we were giving out half of what we paid. And we weren't even given time to make sure we got all of them when the lady making drinks yelled at us to move for the next car, we had to come back for our missing orders again and when asked for receipt(which was not given initially unless asked), they started making bad faces and took about 5 minutes but still didn't provide any receipt. we had to leave in a hurry (which is why we took drive thru, cuz the service is expected to be fast but highly disappointed). by the time we left, all our drinks were cold, totally ruined our moods and we were late for our meeting as well!! never returning here! terrible service and rudeness in all employees including the managers!!

Nestled just outside the city, the Little Red Barn Cafe & Gift is a delightful hidden gem that combines charm with culinary delights. This unique spot offers a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy locally roasted coffee from Satinwood Coffee alongside a menu filled with shareable meals, fresh salads, pizzas, flatbreads, soups, and sandwiches. Don't miss their gluten-free and vegan carrot-zucchini-coconut curry! The cafe also serves up a scrumptious brunch on Sundays that’s perfect for treating yourself.
This place is the epitome of a charming café and gift shop for local crafts. A mix of upscale rustic cabin and french coffee shop works well for this place. I’d recommend stopping by at the Red Barn, or even seeking it out for an elegant getaway from Red Deer.

Went to my friend's birthday lunch here, having never been. The owner and staff are wonderful and accommodating. The food was very tasty! The atmosphere is relaxing and fun! Just outside of Red Deer, but it feels as if you are way out in the country. Would go there again! AND you are supporting a local business!!
Stacey — Google review
This was a few months back, but none the less, was a very disappointing experience. The server, who seemed to be quite young, was very kind however, so I will give her that! I had ordered a sandwich and soup combo, as the server had recommended the soup when I had asked if it was pretty good. It was a Thai type soup, so I thought I’d give it a try, as I was originally going to go with the salad. The food comes, and the sandwich was good! However the soup was watered down, seasonings were lacking, and overall did not taste good. After taking a few sips I asked the waitress politely if I could switch it for the salad. She went back to the kitchen and I was told it could not be done, which was a bit confusing because I work in restaurants myself, and customer satisfaction SHOULD be a priority. Nonetheless, I continued to eat. Who I assume was either the owner, or the cook, (female) came out from the back and gave me the most disgusting look, as if I had spit in her food. She came out over 3 times, and every single time stared at me, and made me feel very uncomfortable. It was a condescending look, multiple times, even my friend who I was with was feeling uncomfortable. If you’re looking for somewhere that is geared towards customer satisfaction and experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place one bit. Will not be returning or recommending, and I have not since.

Homemade food really good including some nice baked goods. They serve alcohol, special coffees. The service was great, very friendly, lovely atmosphere. Places to sit and eat inside and out. Lovely variety of gifts to purchase, I'll definitely go back

Loved this place. Food was so good. And a patio outside

Absolutely superb! One of our favourite places for lunch, a patio and drinks in the Red Deer area. The open country atmosphere is rarely found like this. Thank you kindly for such great service and menu!

I have found one more hidden gem in Red Deer. Well, technically it's outside the city. Beautiful little cafe and gift shop, made in the real barn! Coffee is very good, beautiful and friendly staff and owner. They have napkins on tables!!! Menu is not big, but everything is tasty and made with care! My new favourite place!
Denys T — Google review
My first, but definitely not last visit to this quaint, lovely rustic cafe and gift store in a beautiful country setting. We enjoyed the interesting gift items and the very fresh and tasty food. Highly recommend for those who love to feel like they are on a holiday. An idyllic escape. A hidden gem!!

LV's Vinyl Cafe is a highly rated establishment known for its excellent quality. The atmosphere is inviting, peaceful, and the food is incredibly tasty. Customers can enjoy a relaxing break by indulging in their delicious beverages and treats like brownies that are packed with delightful flavors. The prices are reasonable, and the owner's humble response to compliments adds to the overall experience. Apart from satisfying meals, this cafe also offers lunchtime paninis as well as occasional concerts for intimate gatherings.
It's no wonder this place is 5 star, because it is! Cozy, Quiet, & DELICIOUS. I had to wait dt between appointments, so I came into Vinyl Cafe for a coffee, I'm not typically a brownie gal, however the brownies looked so good and nutty I had to try... unbelievably good. The perfect price and I loved the modest reaction from the owner, when I complimented her on them!!! If you haven't tried this place, go now!

11 dollars plus tax for a very small panini and plain ripple chips. The bread was old and dry and very crusty. The decor is cute and cozy. The customer service was good but the food was not. Not worth the money.

Great place to get a lunch time panini. Concerts a few times a month for small group night out. And if you like vinyl records you can get new and used here.

The coziest coffee place in the city!! I am in love with upstairs area. Coffee is very good from their own roastery. And they bake their own bread!! From now this is my favourite place in Red Deer!!!

Great customer service! A bit loud if you plan on a quiet space as it’s all open. However, it’s very nice and modern and the coffee is great!

Love the atmosphere of this place. Upstairs has comfy chairs for long chats with friends. There is are lots of plug ins for studying. The food us delicious. I usually get 2 crustless quiches and an iced coffee with a pump of vanilla and I am good to go for a few hours! The staff is very friendly and the owners seem very welcoming and involved in the community! Would recommend to anyone to try it out and support local.

Love business meetings here! Great decor, upbeat, clean, nice food and drink offerings for all lifestyles. Absolutely love the loft with well placed cozy chairs and sofas to have a relaxed and more private conversation. Highly recommended. They even have open mic and are offering more and more events even after hours. Owners are fabulous!

Amazing location. Not only do I enjoy the space for working out of and meeting with clients; but my 6 year old daughter and I love going to read together on the top mezzanine. Have seen some other reviews state that the location is not child friendly and/or the staff have been rude about children, but I have been going there regularly since they opened and have never found this to be the case. I believe the problem is more to do with badly behaved children and entitled parents that believe their children should be able to do whatever they want. All the staff have been friendly, accommodating, and engaging with my daughter; she looks forward to going there for hot chocolate and lemon loaf. Food is amazing; can not recommend the breakfast sandwich enough.
Sam — Google review
I have come in a few times by myself but today I ventured out with my children. I have seen quite a few posts regarding the staff and children. The staff is AMAZING. The staff that were on today we're kind and respectful to my rambunctious children. My children slowly walked up the stairs (we definitely in the way) while they were in awe of the whole building. We sat upstairs and read books the upstairs was definitely messy with coloring books and reading boons because of other children who were not being watched by their parents. Yet the staff was still soft, kind and respectful to the children and their parents. We cleaned up the space as it is your job to clean up after yourselves. The Coffee is phenomenal. The dirty Chai Tea Latte is great as well. We will continue to come back! Thank you for the clean and welcoming atmosphere... With amazing coffee.

LOVE this place! I'm a Virtual Assistant and was in Red Deer for the day so made Meeting Waters my "office" for the day. Absolutely fantastic experience - vibe was great, decor was beautiful, service was impeccable and I was extremely impressed that they offered dairy free drink options and vegan food options. Highly recommend this place to anyone - I'll definitely be coming here next time I'm in town!

We chose this as a location for our maternity photos as per recommendation from our photographer. Very nice interior and atmosphere. Tried their milk steamer in vanilla bean and their medium roast coffee, both were delicious. They have an area for students and an area for children, will definitely utilize after the baby comes. Cant wait to try out some other menu items.

This delightful spot not only offers an inviting atmosphere for enjoying freshly brewed coffee, delicious soups, sandwiches, and pastries but also supports local values. Visitors rave about the friendly staff who create stunning flower arrangements tailored to individual needs. The cafe has garnered praise for its delectable baked goods when open.
I'm late on writing this review but we got our flowers for our wedding August 2023 with Stems Flowers and Cafe ! Beautifully done and on time! Courtnee was such a delight and reached out right away with any concerns or questions I had. I went In not knowing what I really wanted but she helped narrow it down and everything was so perfect. Amanda the owner was absolutely fantastic and such a positive person to be around. Highly recommend 👌
Yo J — Google review
I’ve been to Stems a handful of times over the years—whether to pick up a charming Christmas decoration, an adorable stuffed toy for a friend’s new baby, or just to enjoy a delicious coffee. The space is absolutely beautiful, and the team is always so kind and thoughtful. So when I got engaged last year, I knew right away they were the ones I wanted for our big day. Our wedding flowers were stunning, and the entire process was seamless. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Jamie B — Google review
Great service, Stems Flowers and Cafe! Both the florist and barista working today were exceptionally kind and helpful. The florist listened to my needs and created me a beautiful bouquet within the price range I requested, while the barista chatted with me and made me a very tasty decaf latte! Compliments to them both for brightening my day.

I love this flower shop and cafe. The cafe is closed now (April 2021) due to Covid. When it's open their baking is so fresh and tasty.😃 Their flowers and staff are enthusiastic and friendly. They make such lovely flower arrangements. They have a wide variety of gifts. Such a lovely experience and directly across the street from the Red Deer Hospital. If you need to see and purchase something lovely...highly recommend Stems Flowers and Cafe.💐🌻👍👍

Was not home flowers left on front step 3 days later all wilted. Wish I could put the picture of them on here for all to see. 😢 Thank You so much for replacing the flowers for me, it is much appreciated The flowers were beautiful.
Daryl S — Google review
What a joke! After placing an order online at Canada Flowers.ca, Stems was the flower shop that received my order. Although the customer service was fantastic (I was called to verify address, etc, the staff member I spoke with was very nice) the flowers I ordered were not. I paid 75.00 dollars (plus 22.00 delivery) to receive a tiny glass vase with little to no flowers. The picture on the Canada Flowers site showcased a basket with at least 6 roses, several different types of flowers and full of greenery. Mine was a joke for the price I paid (total of 2 roses) I will not be using this service again.
Danine L — Google review
I gave Stems 3 days notice and they totally followed though. I called them and just told her what I wanted and I couldn't have asked for better

If you're looking for a charming spot to unwind, look no further than Finn & Fae! This delightful little café in Red Deer is a treasure trove of local goods and fresh baked treats. The moment you arrive, you'll be enchanted by the cozy atmosphere and the evident passion that Colleen and Laura pour into their shop. Not only do they serve fantastic coffee, but they also support other small businesses by showcasing their products.
An awesome place to get an awesome cup of coffee. The desserts are awesome as well. The staff is also awesome. Lots of interesting crafts for sale as well.

Colleen and Laura are amazing!! What a fantastic little shop. I discovered "Finn and Fae" at the Westerner in '24 and have absolutely fallen in love with the candy and caramel apples!! They are so yummy. MUCH better than the ones you wait a year to buy at the Westerner (or the mini fair that pops in)...these are big, juicy, year round and LOCALLY made!!🇨🇦 Thank you ladies!! I'm a huge fan.💜

An absolute adorable cafe and shop. Their coffee and tea lattes were just delicious, and the boutique has a ton of adorable, locally made goodies. I can't believe they've been open for 2 years and I only found them now!

I have been meaning to write this for a minute! I was in a few months ago. I had some honey put aside for me as I was traveling from out of town. I was in love with the shop the second I pulled up! It SO cute, you can feel how much love they put into their store. They have a little mix of everything you could want, local vendors on display, fresh baking, lovely staff! Was an amazing experience and I'll be stopping by every time I come to town. ✨️

This is my daughter's favorite café in town! She brought home the best coffee last night, and it was amazing! She said the owner was so sweet and actually took the time to grind the beans up for her at no extra charge! Thank you so much for your kindness ❤️

This is the cutest little witchy café and one of red deer's hidden gems! Their coffee is fantastic, and they support other small businesses by allowing them to sell their products in their shop. I actually found out about them because the owner gave me one of their free coffee business cards (which don't expire btw!) while I was at work. Her generosity really made my day, and I'm so grateful for their wonderful business.
