Quirky decor abounds. Busy cafe with plenty of staff, great reviews. Kai coffee is good. Eggs Benny with salmon was ok. The scant hollandaise had an unusual flavour that reminded me of off oil. The salmon was relatively tasteless. The two pieces of white, soft characterless bread were disappointing. The bacon was tasty. Prices are up there considering the lack of anything special. Would I come back, no.

One of the things I liked most was the personal and friendly service. You can tell that the staff make an effort to ensure a positive experience for every customer. The place is so nice, the back yard dog friendly is big and perfect spot for a coffee and breakfast. The variety available is enough to adapt to different tastes and they do daily fresh home made cookiessss, really worth getting one!! This is a place I would happily return to, very close to Mooloolaba main area.

I tried the Eggs Benedict with caramelised pumpkin and toasted ciabatta, and it was a really enjoyable dish. The sweetness of the pumpkin added a nice touch that worked well with the hollandaise and poached eggs. The ciabatta was well toasted — crisp on the outside and soft inside, giving a good texture to the meal. The presentation was neat, and the portion size felt just right — satisfying without being too heavy. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the twist with caramelised pumpkin made it a bit different from the usual Eggs Benedict. Paired with a good coffee, it made for a lovely, relaxed Sunshine Coast brunch.

Unexpectedly impressive! Located in the suburbs, plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside. The food is superb and the coffee good.

What a great little neighborhood spot for a coffee! We stopped in for an iced coffee and milkshake in between running errands. Will absolutely be back! One of the better coffees I've had lately and cute decor.

Velo has indoor and outdoor seating at the back. It was a hot sunny morning and a portion of our table was in the sun which made it quite uncomfortable. I ordered the avo smash, I loved the pops of corn in it. The bread was also delectable and soft. I felt like the portion was very small for the price and everyone at our table felt the same about their meals too. The iced latte was great. Food and drinks came out quickly. Overall, a nice but expensive breakfast option

We visited velo after 9am on a Thursday morning. It was not busy and not quiet, lovely in other words. We enjoyed the food, we got breakfast rolls, on K-pop style bagel one bacon and egg both with their own velo project spin. The flavours worked, the portion was great for me, the food looked good, the prices were pretty standard for fresh food made on site. I like it!

I’m pretty strict with my reviews and I rarely give a 5 star review to a cafe but wow this is damn good coffee. I can’t believe after 10 years I haven’t ever been to this place. Amazing coffee, good service. I will be back!

Lovely spot along the sunny coast! I came here on a day trip and the coffee was lovely + they gave me a little m&m on top of my cup which felt like a fun touch! The staff were super lovely too and it’s walking distance to the beach.

I’m a sunny coast local and for myself and my husband this is one of our favourite coffee shops on the coast! We come almost every weekend for the best ham and cheese toasties you’ll ever eat! The best coffee, hot chocolate and iced drinks! I also regularly purchase their hot chocolate powder, it’s delicious!

After trying multiple coffee shops that were average at best we googled and found Colombian Coffee Co.was around the corner from our resort. Wow. The reviews are definitely on the money with this place. Wonderful coffee and service with a smile. Keep up the fantastic coffee and service guys. You're our new fav coffee place in Mooloolaba. I went with my children to grab a coffee and hot chocolates this morning, the coffee is great how ever the barista (lady with tattoos on arms) has a terrible attitude, we were at the counter to collect the coffee and hot chocolate and there was 1 m&m on top of my coffee my son went to eat it and dropped it by mistake, there was a second coffee right beside ours which my daughter a child obviously thought was our order as well and said don’t worry to her brother here’s another one for you which was not our m&m and she just starred at my children didn’t say anything took the m&m off my child rolled her eyes at us and turned away. She should not be working in a job like this with that kind of attitude your coffee was amazing 🤩 but I won’t be coming back due to her behaviour towards a child that thought she was just taking an m&m that she thought was ours. The other girls working on taking orders etc were very nice and friendly.

Stayed nearby for 10 days and got our coffee fix here every morning. The coffee here is next level and expertly made. Only tried the single origin once but the standard blend was great imho. Thank you from a fussy caffeine addict.

We only came for a coffee and cake, so I can only comment on these. New York cheesecake was a generous serve. I question whether it was a traditional NY cheesecake, which I was craving, so was a little disappointed. It looked very pretty, but I think it is required that any decoration (or garnish) must be edible. I don't believe this one was. The coffee was a rounded brew. I had a small flat white, but the cups were so big, I found it too milky and weak. I added an extra shot for $1. Looking at the burgers and chips being served, I could be tempted back for a meal. The staff were excellent. Attentive and personable.

We had cake and coffee, great selection and these guys were one of very few open at 3.30 so well done.

Friendly, attentive staff, table service, quick turn around on orders.i usually just order a coffee and something to snack on. Very nice place - we stayed in Mooloolaba for the ironman on 14/9 and decided to have breakfast here. Nice outdoor area with heaters (I love heaters). the food was delicious and came quickly. the staff was friendly and proactive, cleaning tables and checking in with the people dining if everything was fine. really good service - we will be back.

Wow what an Amazing place So impressed with everything from Service, food and the staff. The omelette special was so tasty, the ingredients used complimented the dish the flavours were spectacular. The service was so professional and the staff were so confident, pleasant, friendly overall this place gets a 10 out 10 Well done to the owners of the cafe

Such a beautiful location but disappointing breakfast experience. My coffee order was placed incorrectly but I was charged for the coffee i didn't order as well because their policy is once they read back your order if you don't correct them they will charge you! I wish I could say that the food was great but paying $32 for a green bowl which consisted of overcooked broccoli and far too much low quality pesto from a jar made certain I will never visit this place again.

I can wholeheartedly say that this cafe has brought the strongest sense of community with the time I have lived here the last six years. The girls that run the cafe have always given the BEST customer service and I will continue to support the business in every way I can. They’re just amazing.

By far the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast. I drink long blacks, you can really tell the Barista knows what she is doing. Delish!!! The almond croissants are also banging. Great customer service

Just off the esplanade in a little alley way we found 'the horse' for the week we were in Mooloolaba, our family frequented it and enjoyed good coffee, amazing pastries and a quiet, less frenetic vibe. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, also very patient with our ordering style:). Thanks guys!

Kia Ora from New Zealand. This cafe/bar has an amazing vibe, marine colours, healing to the soul and just so relaxed. Yep, tucked away just off the main drag by the beach, but do not let that put you off, it is warm inside when the weather is cool, yet cool inside when the weather is hot. A perfect haven to rest and recharge after enjoying the beach...and the pricing is great too. They make the best coffees I had in Mooloolaba, so consistent and a great blend. The smoothies I had were to die for, and the food is simply great. Also heard great things about their cocktails, but yet to enjoy! Look forward to experiencing the Sunday sessions which sound great. Both of those pleasures can wait till I return, one day. The thing that sets them apart is the team, both management and "troopers" they are all amazing, so incredibly customer focussed, always smiles on their dials, they treasure their customers and take no one for granted. Came in here with my girlfriend and was greeted by the lovely employees Tiah and Brandi~ The atmosphere and customer service immediately made us feel welcome, it has such a great aesthetic I’d say it’s a must visit for anyone up on the Sunshine Coast We ordered two drinks and a breakfast wrap all which tasted great and were a lovely addition to our beachside picnic later Thank you for making our day guys and I couldn’t recommend the cafe more <3

If you enjoy great coffee, this is a must-do. The members of this family run business all care about each and every shot poured. Heartfelt apologies are given if your coffee is little slow coming because they want it to be perfect. The extra time is worth the wait if it happens. When coffee is what you're about, it has to be that way. There are delicious-looking sweet treats in the display cases, and the ham and cheese toastie I had was tasty, but that's it for food. Clandestine coffee is locally roasted and is as delicious as a straight espresso or in milk. They even put a little cardboard guard around the takeaway cup of the short black coffee so you don't burn yourself holding the paper cup. So good.

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with our recent visit. We’ve been a few times and always been happy with our coffee. This time though our coffees were both scalding hot and tasted overly bitter. It was not a nice flavour at all. Banana bread was yum.

Delicious coffee - but most importantly, the service was so warm and welcoming. Some people are born to be in hospitality, and it’s clear that the lovely owner of this espresso bar is one of those people!

Extremely frustrating experience. This cafe is on the Too Good To Go app, but both times I’ve ordered they cancelled at the last minute. Why even be on the app if you cannot deliver? It wastes customers’ time and makes you look completely unreliable. After two failed orders, I won’t be trying again – there are plenty of other local cafes that actually honour their orders.

Had an unfortunate encounter here this morning. Service was lovely atmosphere lovely. Iced chocolate $7 fair price, however 2cm from the top of the cup was filled with ice. Watery and milky tasting drink that wouldn't have been half a cup full of milk at best, minimal flavouring. Is there supposed to be cream ? Ice cream? Very disappointing..

We went to have breakfast in here. It was really good coffee and breakfast, also the almond & chocolate croissant was yummy. The owner was very friendly. It was our first time to come here but we will definitely come back again. I would recommend you guys to come here and support local cafe.

The owner is a legend, and the staff members are also a legend. I couldn't complain as they serve the best breakfast and lunch with decorations, in my opinion. I recommend everyone to try out this place.

The food prices are extremely reasonable and the coffee is incredible, one of the best I’ve had. The man who served us was very nice and the whole environment was relaxing.

Great place nice coffee always and bacon and egg breakfast bun. I absolutely love the variety of healthy slices they have with fruit and nuts and almond etc . Sorry I ate some of my slice before taking the photo 😁 Have added few more pics as having another nice coffee here this morning before cycling back home .

Visiting Sunshine Coast and have been to many cafes over the last couple of weeks who have given 5 star coffee and service. Unfortunately this was a complete let down. After 30mins watching multiple people order and get their coffee we finally got ours. The coffee was average and worst of all we did not even receive an apology for them clearly forgetting our order. Very disappointing.

After hunting for weeks for a good coffee in this area we've struggled to find anything that wasn't bitter burnt coffee with boiled milk, Thank Goodness we stumbled across this hidden treasure! Good coffee made with care. Staff are lovely. My nit picks would be Ruben would be nice with more sauce and not a fan of having relish with sun-dried tomato on the breakfast wraps and muffins, but that's all just personal choice

Literally sat there and watched someone make sandwiches with their bare hands, no gloves, touching all the meat, cheese.. no thank you very unsanitary regardless if your hands are washed.

We spent 4 days in Mooloolaba and had breakfast with Local Social every day. Their varied options made for a never boring meal, their Gingerbread / Cinnamon Bircher Musli is absolutely divine, their smoothies to die for, and their coffees a slice of heaven! Their croissants are as close to France as you can get: cross on the outside, and just right melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Proper Hotchocolate, thick and comforting - and the staff recognising me from day 2 on and knowing then that I need Lactose free even when I forget to say so is just phenomenal! There is no question of IF I return - but when, and I can only hope very, very soon!!!!

Local Social Mooloolaba is the best. The coffee is great, the staff are lovely and the toasties are so yum. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely laid back coffee shack in the absolute heart of vibrant Mooloolaba. Such happy and helpful staff. Kid friendly as there are heaps of crayons and a box of toys. The artwork displayed on the walls are really interesting!

Never had a bad experience here, today two wonderful younger girls served me, both very polite and very welcoming, the service as well as the coffee is amazing. The atmosphere of this place is like non other in mooloolaba, so relaxing and homey. I love this place. Thank you!!

We ordered a takeaway of full bbq ribs with fries and twelve jamaican wings. The food taste amazing, and the servings are worth it for the price. The fries are crispy and the sauce are all good. The ribs has a missing slight crispiness as compared to what I tried on restaurant but the sauce completed it though. They served our order pretty quick. They might be packed during dinner so plan ahead. We finished it all, hence its five stars for us!

Had lunch there and ordered a steak sandwich. It was absolutely sensational. Best EVER. Slow cooked 12hrs rib fillet, super tender, full of flavour and beautiful soft fresh Turkish bread. The chips were amazing too. Chunky outside with a soft centre and perfect level of salt. Highly recommend.

Yeah it's alright. Nothing to write home about. Ordered the steak burger and yeah it's packed together with all the stuff you want on it. But biting into it just felt like a cheap clone of what a steak burger should be. It's not bad - just not great. And maybe it's the overly large dish it's all served on, but that serving of fries sure looked small. As for everything else - it's got a great location, a good vibe inside, decent views if you're at the window. For seating there was very limited low table availability. If you're not into sitting at the high tables on stools, you may be out of luck. Probably give it another shot the next time I'm up that way.

Tuesday dining.....Great local craft beer selection, $7 Schooners for happy hour and a 1/2, absolutely delicious!!! Came back later for the $26 steak and they nailed it! Steak cooked perfectly and the best crispy chips!!! Side salad was fresh and amazing. My choice is always Mushroom sauce and garlic sauce on the side.....I'd buy them by the bottle! 😋

The ads of the weekly special draw my attention. Tuesday steak night and Friday rib and wings look very good. We expected it should be good because it's easier for the chefs, but I was wrong. We ordered two serves of steak, and both of them were overcooked, with no flavour and super dry. We cancelled the booking on Friday after the meal. Disappointed.

The two ladies working here over lunch were lovely, both during the door greeting and service. I had a 350g Rump (R) and I was amazed at the quality, particularly because it was only a $35 steak. Huge compliments to the chef. Next time I'm visiting Sunshine Coast I will certainly be back. Thank you team! 😌

Good place for coffee and quick meeting. Not the best value and not many food options. The service is quick and friendly. There is a short wait for coffee sometimes but that is only because the cafe is popular and has many orders. There is ample seating indoor and outdoor but mainly a place for coffee and meeting. Based on my experience not really a place for breakfast or brunch. There are some power points at the rear to plug in a charger. Closes too early.

I've been coming here for about a year. But today I had a difficult order, as I was ordering for a team and some had special instructions. The lady did not miss a beat. She had it down the first time, correctly and the coffee was amazing. The staff are always busy but I haven't received a single mistake by them. Thank you! You guys rock.

Everytime I walk into this cafe the staff always say "hello" and a majority of the time they actually already know what I'm going to order. Their service is impeccable as well as their latte art. Inside the cafe itself is definitely a vibe as well as the music that plays throughout the day, you could stay here for hours studying, working or just hanging out! The Ham, cheese and tomato toasties are sublime just like any of the other foods that they offer here. Overall, has to be one of my personal favourite places to grab a coffee and chat to the friendly barista's in Mooloolaba.

Thought my wife and I would try Melody’s licensed cafe for breakfast. My wife had the Frits, where she really enjoyed it. I had the Carnivore, it was ok. Soft poached eggs were a little undercooked. I also had the Breakfast Shake. I really enjoyed this, very much tasty. Wife had tea and I had my usual skinny latte. The service was really good! Friendly, helpful and welcoming. We’d be happy to drop by again next time we’re In Mooloolaba!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We met some friends for a coffee this morning. We had a wonderful, warm greeting by Kiefie. We didn’t eat there, however we had a drink each. Coffee for my son and I had the tropical smoothie. We both agree next time we’ll have a feed! Customer service, pricing and flavour of our drinks were all On Point!! No complaints here! Thanks Urzay 😁

Partner and I stopped by for brekkie this morning with the dog. Staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food was scrumptious, coffee was delicious. Will be returning and recommending to everyone!

I don't often write positive reviews about restaurants but have been meaning to praise Melody's for some time now. We have been coming to eat lunch every now and then for the past six months or so and what stands out about Melody's is the attitude of the staff. The ladies we have been served by have been mature ladies which one doesn't often see in restaurants today and wow have they shone'! Friendly, bubbly and helpful - five stars gals! The food is also really good and value for money. Have to confess that both my husband and I only eat the same thing each time we come as it is that good - veggie sandwich and the burger - so can't comment on the rest of the food. Well done Melody's for your service, value and good quality food.

Coffee Clubs are usually not my thing, but this one was ok. Coffee was passable. we ordered double shots of course, wouldn't be able to taste the coffee otherwise! Enjoyed the avocado here came with feta & pumpkin seeds on Turkish toasted bread & some sweet cherry tomatoes & rocket. Scrambled eggs came with sourdough an extra tomato half was $3,50 !!! (It's a cost of living crisis!) Service was pleasant & considering they were flat out was fast

Over priced. Paid $22.90 for eggs Benedict, I was expecting a full meal for that price. What came out was 1 piece of bread cut in half, 2 eggs a bit of salmon and about 5-7 pieces of spinach. I am only about 55kg so it doesn’t take a lot to fill me up - but I left very hungry and disappointed. There was nothing special about it at all. Service was good though. Great costumer service.

Went today and ordered lunch with an alcohol beverage at 1.30pm. Was given my drink straight away and after waiting over 20mins the waitress was sent over with a refund for my lunch only saying sorry the kitchen was closed…. Why would it take 20mins to inform me the kitchen was closed as surely my order would have been sent to the kitchen as soon as I placed the order. Not good enough and definitely won’t be back as plenty of other good eateries around which actually take your order to the kitchen once you order.

Good standard coffee club experience. Busy location just over from beach. They were getting hammered for brunch. Online system wasn't working so had to line up. Was told the meal would take 30 minutes, which was accurate. Had the savoury mince and it was presented well , was tasty and good value for what it was. Staff were pleasant despite looking hassled.

We went there for coffees. I was served by a man I think must have been the manager. He had an attitude from the moment I went up to order. It was pretty wild. As I was waiting, I took a look at the reviews here to find out I'm not the only one to encounter this person. I also mentioned it to the receptionist at the place I am staying at and she said that she has heard many complaints about him. It's definitely time to move on if you are that unhappy. If you are having a bad day then being rude to others only makes it worse. There's no good energy in that. You just wallow in misery. The coffee was also very bitter. Funny that!

Not very busy for a Saturday morning. Coffee was just ok. Had a latte no art even attempted. Corn fritters ok but cold tomatoes, raw spinach and poached egg which was soft ish just. Very basic no real flavour with the meal.

Mediocre quality and quantity of food considering the price. We were also served by two different men who were both very abrupt and rough (one of them dropped the cutlery loudly on the table upon serving our food). Will not recommend.

Had a great time at the Nines today having an awesome brunch. We decided on a special of the day, the Mac Daddy which was amazingly good. It was enough to share between two, and good value if you did. Iced matcha and coffee was on point. Vibe was chill but in a quality way. It was nice to not have the music pumping and baristas singing along.

I dont usually write reviews but the dude behind the counter was a proper weapon. Came in yesterday and got a big breakfast with a list of changes I wanted made, no problems. Super lovely guy, coffee was great even if it took a little bit of time to get to the table. Food was bloody delicious and the serving was huge which I was hoping for with the price point.

This place is a little on the expensive side however, it ticks all the boxes for a great overall experience. Food, service and atmosphere are impeccable. Serving sizes on dishes are huge... It does get busy on the weekends however, I enjoy a week day as there is always plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. Gluten free options available... and coffee is always consistently good!

A spacious and buzzing cafe along the coast with great coffee or turmeric lattes if that’s your thing (I highly recommend it). We ordered the Grounded toastie + chicken to share between 2 - plenty if you’re not super hungry or like us, saving room for yo chi. Only thing it needed was more than cherry tomato but otherwise I would kiss whoever baked that sourdough (with consent obviously)

Criminally good Toasties and coffees. Excellent ingredients with super charred toasties with a nice crunch. Have tried both chicken varieties and ham n cheese of course. Ham and cheese was good, but the herb roasted chicken with ranch sauce was the winner. Have been back twice and will keep coming back 🤝🏽

My husband and I only get a proper date night once in a blue moon, and Bella Venezia made it truly special. The food was excellent as always, but what stood out most was the outstanding service from Brendan. He took the time to explain the menu really well, was attentive throughout the evening, and made us feel so well looked after. Thanks to him, our night out felt extra memorable. Overall, a very good experience! We will definitely be back!

Slightly odd beginning to the feast. We walked in on a Tuesday night and were informed there will be a 45min wait. We went around the corner and then booked online and returned and were able to get a table within 5mins (much to the chagrin of the person that I tally attended to us). Anyway, the beef cheek ragout was outstanding and was very quickly served. No prolonged waiting around which suited us well. Other staff were attentive and respectful.

We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and everything was just perfect! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, special thanks to Brendan, who made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. He was attentive, kind, and gave great recommendations. Brendan was our waiter. He was thoroughly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and most definitely amplified an already exceptional experience. Brendan deserves acknowledgment for going the extra mile to make the entire dining experience absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, exceptional selection of wines and a beautiful atmosphere. We look forward to returning.

We ordered takeaway, but the portion for a main meal (gnocchi with truffle oil) was lesser than a starter! Luckily, our hotel was located next door, and they brought another serving to our hotel but if we stayed a bit far not sure if we would have been able to eat..however the food items were really delicious, an exquisite Torte!

Delicious pizza & pasta but at a premium price. Came to Augello’s and tried their award winning hot smoked salmon pizza, the Supreme, the prawn & crab linguine pasta and the Greek salad. The smoked salmon pizza was very nice, extremely salty but with a good mix of flavours. The supreme and Greek salad were both as expected. The standout dish was actually the prawn & crab pasta which I would certainly recommend. While the food was certainly enjoyable, it comes with a decent price tag. Always the order pizza ‘for 2’ as the for 1 serving size is quite small.

We came on a dinner without reservations and the manager/owner greeted us very respectfully and the waitresses are approachable and sweet. We ordered garlic bread, single seafood pizza and double meat pizza. The taste and food portions are excellent. The seafood pizza is a must try. The price point is medium compared to other Italian restaurant around which is more expensive. The place is cozy and chill. Good place for date nights, dinner out with big group(probably need reservation) or just getting a night out. Thank you Augello's, we had a nice experience.

Came here by my niece’s recommendation. Decent Italian food, quick service at reasonable prices. We all loved our choices which are the Lasagna, Seafood Pizza, Prawn & Crab Pasta, Sicilian Pizza, Italian Salads. We all ended up eaten too much :-) Will be back 👍

Highly recommend this restaurant! The prawn and scallop risotto is a must-try, the hot smoked salmon pizza is delicious, and the bruschetta was fresh and full of flavor. We were seated downstairs — it was quiet and relaxing, with a great beachside ambiance. The service was excellent, and the Christmas lights on the trees added a magical touch to the evening. A perfect spot for good food and a lovely atmosphere.

Went to Augello’s for a business lunch and it was outstanding. Simon, the owner, and his staff couldn’t have been friendlier – they really made us feel welcome and showed genuine interest, which led to a great chat. The views are incredible, the atmosphere relaxed yet classy, and the food… wow. Hands down the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Everything from service to setting was spot on. I’ll definitely be back – highly recommend!

Wow! The margarita pizza was amazing. Lilly was like the best waitress you’d ever get. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is incredible. And we haven’t even got our minds yet. 12 years in a row. And it’s still rocking

Coming in with high expectations, I’m quite confused by the quality of the pizza bases. Having travelled extensively through Italy, including Napoli and southern regions, I know that a really good pizza is all about the dough. For such award winning and expensive pizzas, I’d assume Augellos would have proper hand thrown dough, cooked fresh in a wood fired oven (with the lovely bubbled / uneven look, deliciously thick on the edges and thin in the centre!). These pizzas however, had underwhelming even bready dough with suspicious looking bottoms riddled with holes (as if they have come from a factory). It’s the kind of dough you can expect from Dominos. Adding an extra star for the quality of the toppings - delicious generous servings of seafood, delicious taste combinations, and a good serving size.

Deliciousness plus, love a mini eggs bennie with some side, and dessert breakie for the child = coffee in peace.

ALL ROUND OUTSTANDING. For a delightful dining experience try this awesome beachfront restaurant. The whole evening meal here was exceptional. Jacquie our waitress was full of good cheer, helpful and attentive. She certainly added good vibes to the evening. The meals were delightful and very well proportioned. The Chicken Ballantine in particular was outstanding. All in all a wonderful evening experience.

Words cannot explain! All of my senses are on overload right now - from the sensational live artist (Sorah Snow), to the OH MY FRIENDLY staff! This has got to be the greatest restaurant on the sunny coast, with an incredible well developed menu! My husband and I have never been anywhere where the staff have had me constantly laughing and feeling like I was in a joyous environment! We’re only up for 2 nights from the Gold Coast - but being restaurant operators ourselves, we can hands down say this is the greatest place we’ve been to in a quite a long time! Keep up the amazing work guys we are so impressed and will be telling EVERYONE about this phenomenal experience!

Slow slow service... Except the guy at the front, he was very friendly and attentive. 40+ min wait for brekky. 👎 Good food. Good coffee 👍 *Edit: It was NOT a full restaurant by any means (contrary to comment below). Even one staff member was drying cutlery one-by-one, others were chatting. As a business owner, this was painful to watch.

My family and I had breakfast here. The Mini Eggs Benny was a great option and a good size for my partner and I and the $10 price tag is very reasonable. The biggest negative is the passive smoking resulting from smokers standing a few feet away from were people are eating. We asked a member of staff about designated smoking areas so that I could suggest to the two smokers to move but she said she had no idea and made no effort in finding out for us. A customer from another business close by did approach the two people smoking and asked them to move but this just placed them even closer to our location. I believe all food service business should get together and lobby Council to deem the entire food eatery areas as smoke free.

Great spot. The sausage roll is delicious! The African rooibos orange latte was divine, a little sweet, almost as good as a dessert. Interior decorating is really nice and has a calm feeling to it.

Easily no questions asked the best tea shop in the Sunny Coast. Such a massive range of teas and an even better menu of cakes and desserts to accommodate the drinks. If you love what you had you can even buy the flavours from them. Which is what I ended up doing. I'm now a Vanilla Crème tea enjoyed.

The Silva Spoon is a must-visit when you’re in Maroochydore! They serve fantastic coffee and absolutely delicious cakes — the Biscoff cheesecake is to die for! DISAPPOINTED! High tea is usually classy, this experience was not. Our 2 tables were different heights, our tablecloth was paper, the table beside us having high tea had a beautiful setting on a tablecloth and comfortable chairs, our metal chairs were not comfortable. Our server said she was there to look after us during the high tea, once we were served our food and drinks we never saw her again even though she said just call me when you need a refill or anything else. When asked where she was, I was told she’s on her break. So that means she tells the customers someone else will be looking after you now. No one came near us to make sure it was all ok or if we wanted the bottomless tea or coffee refilled. The food was mismashed, presentation needs work, a few flowers on food and plates doesn’t mean it’s high tea. Definitely not a good experience or worth the $60,00 per person.

Only been here for high tea, and today was a reminder I should come in more often! Really great value High tea, fabulous cakes and treats all baked by their in house baker who is fantastic. Great selection of delicious teas and even took some home with me. So much food I couldn't finish it and also took the rest home! Highly recommend. I'm vegetarian and the veggie high tea did not disappoint.

The Milk Bar Coffee Co is the perfect place to grab a drink and nibble to eat with your friend!! I’m so in love with their matcha!! The best I’ve had in my life and I’m a big matcha drinker!! The owner and staff are so sweet! Definitely the best customer service I have come across in a long time. My friend and I love visiting here and I will definitely be returning the next time I visit the sunny coast! 5 stars, 11/10 for these guys!! Definitely a must visit when you’re on the coast!

Food is very good and tea is as well. We ate here twice over our holiday. The first time was perfect all around. The second time, three staff where hudled on their phones in the corner. One looked at my husband then went back to her phone and didn't come over to serve the counter. It was only when the chef told the girls to go back to work that we were seen to. Otherwise, it is a very good cafe, likely just an off day for them.

Eggs bene was delicious. Live the addition of the balsamic and pistachios. The cold pressed juice was refreshing. The mixed berry smoothie unfortunately was bland. The Mango smoothie was nice. The chai latte was also bland.

I've recently taken to eating burgers with utensils. I'm too old for this wiping-the-elbows business. I love a juicy, saucy burger as much as the next guy. I don't love needing a napkin every bite. We have the technology, I'm choosing to make use of it. Chicken burgers are so often dry and underseasoned. Not this one. This one is succulent and bursting with flavours of grilled fowl. The coffee is fine, though the vanilla syrup doesn't really come through in my iced vanilla latte on oat (don't judge me, it's better for my skin). I feel like they're skimping on the vanilla pumps. Gimme them 2 quick spurts of vanilla BLAP-BLAP. Maybe they already do and its just weak vanilla. The inside smells of salt air and roasted beans. I saw a group of friends playing cards at their table. Seems like a real Central Perk situation they had going on. High on it. Not sure if the cards were BYO, but a cool move if they were. Bring a deck of playing cards to coffee, CBTM.

Service was exceptional, food and coffee was delicious, and at a reasonable price. We loved the suspended coffee concept and bought a couple to put up on the wall. Reviews are bang on, these cakes are awesome. The gluten free raspberry brownie cake was the best gluten free thing I've eaten, as was the incredibly huge cinnamon scroll my husband had. Every bite full was divine. Glad we did the research and visited (we are from Melbourne)

Tome sweet treats are divine!! I wanted some of their delicious Cinnamon Scrolls for a Sunday but with covid they're operating only Mon-Fri. So I emailed Alita & Matthew enquiring about how I could get some. Their response time was quick! and I placed an order for pick up the day before the Sunday. Communication was really good. Invoice was sent, payment made and the goods ready and waiting for me as organised. Which was awesome! I was given a tip on re-heating as I was refrigerating the scrolls for the following day after pick up. I found bringing them out of the fridge to sit a bit before I was ready to heat and eat, good. Heated them with the extra bit of sauce and they came up so good! Like straight from an oven. Fresh, soft and the right amount of everything, cinnamon butter, icing - perfect! Highly recommend. Thanks guys 🙏🥰😋

The coffee is perfect. It's hard to ignore the delicious treats staring at you at the counter, so if you give in, try the cinnamon roll muffin (heated)...absolutely amazing & needs to be shared as it's huge. Staff are always so friendly.

My two-day experience: Day1 I wanted iced latte with skim milk. When ordering I checked whether they have a skim milk and was told they do. I ordered two iced lattes (one with skim milk and one with full cream) this morning but when they were ready, I was told they only use one type, Norco Capo milk. The barista said it’s already fat free. I was puzzled and asked, I ordered one with full cream and one with skim milk. The barista kept saying they both use one type of milk which is fat free. I was annoyed but decided to walk away. The barista or any staff should understand the types of milk they use. Fat content of Norco Capo milk or most of barista milk have higher fat %, even more than the normal full cream milk. I would have been okay to be told they don’t have a skim milk, it means I would have just ordered one coffee. I’m disappointed. Day2 Despite the disappointing first day experience, I gave another go. This time I ordered a long black for myself.on Saturday morning the cafe was very busy. I waited 20 minutes for my takeaway two coffees and noticed people who ordered after me were getting their coffees before me. After 3 groups of people who ordered after me getting their coffees, I approached the baristas and ask whether my coffee would be ready soon. The staff seemed the u couldn't find my order but said they would make mine next. Soon after the lady who took my order came to ask me what hapd happened. When I explained she bluntly said they only serve people as they order and what happened? To me is not true. I was stunned by their reaction and rudeness. By that stage I was done with that cafe and thought I wouldn't come back. But, the owner approached me and apologised for what had happened and offered me to come to give them another try. I went back to give one last try, and had lunch and coffee again. This time I was served an iced latte with (correct) skim milk. Food was good and generous size. The owner was upset about what had happened and how both occasions his staff got it wrong with my orders. I appreciated him taking the time to address the issues and felt his service mindset. He shouted the entire meal for us too. Staff could move but the owner will be there so I would like to drop by when in Mooloola next time for him.

My new favourite coffee shop!! Great location, friendly staff, amazing service, delicious homemade food, and best tasting coffee I've ever had!!! I ordered the corn fritters and I was really impressed by the fresh flavours of the smashed avo, delicious tomato relish, perfect poached egg.

The espresso here is absolutely perfect smooth, rich, and full of flavour. The baristas clearly know what they’re doing and genuinely care about quality. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, with music that makes you want to stay all morning. And the owners? They’re the absolute best friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Simply the best coffee shop in Mooloolaba. Every time I go there, there’s something new on the menu or a special sandwich to try, and it’s always delicious. João, Jessica, and all the staff are very friendly, always smiling and attentive.

Yeah, not great… yogurts tase nothing like the flavors advertised, to the point we threw them out not even half way through. Couldn’t stomach them anymore. Also extremely expensive, even for this type of place compared to similar places ie yo-chi. I wouldn’t waste my time, go get proper gelato or ice cream that actually tastes like the flavors advertised.

I never write bad reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. The frozen yogurt tasted like it was full of additives—definitely not fresh or natural. I even felt a bit sick afterward, which was really disappointing. For the price they charge, it’s just not fair at all to serve something of such poor quality. Definitely not worth it.

Delayed service with seemingly disinterested staff. We missed where the menu and prices were easily seen and had to ask for prices on products and sizes, flavours, etc, of what we were after. The staff are quite firm in what you can order and what you can add to your order. In the end, only I purchased something which wasn't too bad. The din from kerbside is lost in the store and it had a quiet-keep-your-voice-well-down-don't-laugh-too-loud feel in the booths area. Not sure if this is typical or just the timeframe we were visiting. I'd probably give this place another try next time if the menus and prices were visible. Will update if/after that happens.

I love frozen yoghurt, but I am disappointed everytime I visit this place. I’ve come here various times over the past 6 years and their flavours are always bad, the peppermint chocolate tasted like rum. The yoghurt turns to soup in less than 5 mins and today’s highest temp was 25 degrees, so it was not that hot. The toppings are incredibly hard to access from the back because of the glass and theres a sign advertising freshly cut up banana, AND THERES NO BANANA! And after all of that, it costs $40 for two small sized yoghurts. To say I am pissed is an understatement. I will never be coming here again and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I've visited the Mooloolaba yogurt gelato shop a few times and each time I'm impressed by the quality of the gelato. The ginger and macadamia flavor stands out as the best one I've tried, but all the flavors are delicious. I wish they had a greater variety of options, including a pistachio flavor. Overall, I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a scrumptious dessert.

My only go to for coffee in Mooloolaba. I’m never disappointed with the coffee or service. There are a few fabulous rustic style seating and tables available, but if they are busy there is always the lovely beach view park seats across the road.

Came in this morning and was greeted kindly by a lovely and friendly member of staff, the place has a great atmosphere and is fairly priced with many goodies and snacks in their food cabinet which all looked delicious! The barista produced one of the best coffees I’ve ever had and was served with a bright smile which honestly made my day, would like to thank the beautiful staff member for making my day even better! Again, will definitely be back for a coffee!!

Smooth, well extracted coffee. I’m not a hardcore coffee geek, but they brew with a blend from four different sources and I’d say it’s a good medium roast. Just enough punch and after a week of daily visits here I was hard pressed to detect any bitterness. Staff are friendly and the establishment has a responsible ethos - free coffee if you bring in a bucket of rubbish from the beach. Only caveat is they take care with the coffee and are often busy, so you need to allow a bit of extra time.

Hanging out for a breakfast and this place did not disappoint. This cafe was constantly filled up by customers during our visit. The food quality was good and the coffee was quite nice, even though in my opinion I felt the coffee could be a bit stronger. Otherwise, the overall experience was good!

Drinks hit the mark too. Despite the crowd, there was no rush in the air ...just locals and wanderers alike soaking it all in. Sunshine, good food, great company. One of those brunches you wish you could bottle. We'll definitely be back.

We heard so many good things about this cafe so thought we would check it out on a rainy morning. It was super loud due to the heavy traffic noise on the wet roads but we expected that and not something they can change, however we were left standing around trying to find somewhere to sit while a staff member sat at a large indoor table having a break and didn’t care about customers trying to find somewhere to eat. The food was nice but sadly the corn fritters had a strange, old oil taste to them which was very off putting.

Matty Allman has created one of the most amazing cafes on the Sunshine Coast, the coffee craftsmanship is clinical and the food is always great. Even coming from humble beginnings into a Sunshine Coast powerhouse, the team has remained humble and cares about all of the customers that pass through.

Staff is just amazing, very friendly and providing best hospitality service. What I like most about this place is that they have a different menu from the same breakfast menus everywhere else. And they put real chocolate on the cappuccino, that’s other level 🤤

Went in for a quick takeaway coffee. Staff were very polite and friendly! Coffee was amazing! I got a ice long black and the flavour of the coffee was elite! Really quality beans. The layout of the cafe and the location was amazing

😭😭. 🤬💔❤️‍🩹 While their quiches have a nice flavor, I was disappointed by the lack of bacon or ham inside, which affected the overall taste. However, my biggest concern was the absence of visible pricing. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 In Australia, it’s required to display prices, and not doing so feels unprofessional and inconvenient. I ended up having to ask about the price for each item, which took up my limited lunch break. For a small oversight like this, the experience felt frustrating and made me decide not to return. There are plenty of other establishments that follow the law and respect consumer rights, making shopping easier and more enjoyable.

The sausage roll and sour cherry Danish I tried WERE SO AMAZING!!! I work at a bakery South of Brisbane (here on holiday) and the sausage roll here was actually better than the ones I sell, it was very very good, flavourful and soft and juicy! The Danish was very good as well, delicious and enjoyable treat, I think perfect. However I tried also the steak and pepper pie and the custard tart, the pie definately was good but not the best I've had- still good though. BUT the custard tart was awful, tasted like sugar and eggs in a soggy white tart, not custard in the slightest. Overall I do want to go back to try more! It seems very promising, and I was really happy with the sausage roll and cherry Danish ☺️

I thought I would give this place one last try but it was exactly the same as my last visit. Hardly any pies at 8.26am and the one I did get was the steak, bacon and cheese as they had nothing else. It was bang average at best and Luke warm. This was the exact same problem as last time. I had 2 bites then through the rest in the bin! I'm not sure what's happend to this place as it used to be good 🤔 I will be spending my money elsewhere.. 👎 Edit. Thanks for responding but unfortunately this was not the first time this has happened.

My honest review of this bakery can not be summarised enough in the English vocabulary to describe the outer worldly experience I had with the consumables purchased on such day. I had the privilege to stumble across this humble little bakery, observing each decadent treat splain out across multiple shelves whilst in line. Finally, after 10 gruelling minutes in line behind a screaming child, I finally encountered a jolly and pleasant employee. I enquired that they may perchance have an almond croissant in their inventory. I was met with positive confirmation via a nod and smile. Immediately I began jumping in jollyness, before trading my tokens of hard work for a pair of warm almond croissants (both for me- don't judge). Upon recollection of taking my first bite from that divine delicacy, overflowing with almond meal and a sweet scent wafting up my quivering nostrils, nothing will ever compare. This was the BEST baked croissant I have ever purchased, and since that day no other has been able to compare. I am patiently awaiting the day I can be reunited with my favourite treat once again.

Got recommended - drove to Moolooaba to do the shopping for bread and pastry. The only staff member there was not interested at all to be friendly. On top of the counter "Applestrudel" lined up - uncovered - with other costomer breething on it. We bought one - very disappointing $ 16.00 - custard in an Applestrudel? Appels should be sliced, not square. The sourdough bread was very hard, small and expensive. No prices on any of the displayed bread rools and breads. A rather disappointing experience.

Van Wegen’s has a great range of breads, pies, pastries and other baked goods - all yummy and still at reasonable prices - a fabulous local institution - outlasting many others in this region for many years now. So, my advice is to get in there and see what you like and support this top class bakery.

The baked blueberry cheesecake is divine!! Texture, flavour, crumb delicious! If you are craving cheesecake can recommend also the large ones to share! Reasonable price and quite a few options of breads, pastries, sweet treats.

Perfect place to get a morning coffee next to the beach. Coffee was good! We went multiple times over busy weekend and enjoyed it. The line can get very long in the morning so go early. Service was ok as it was so busy they just take order and then you wait. Close walk to beach too so if your going or already there it’s super handy.

Great staff and always great coffee with a great view. Amazing balls too. Don’t forget to try the balls whether coconut or peanut. All good and all delicious ❤️

Went for years, then it got popular and long lines. Unfortunately the fantastic barristers left one by one. Now the coffee is sporadically good (not hot enough/to much froth/not what you ordered or combination of all three from ONE lady). I have been dismissed when I asked one to NOT put your fingers inside my cup when handling, can I have a new cup please (I have clean fingers) and excuse me, you didn't give me my change (Ugh, it's only 50c, same lady) three separate occasions. This same girl marked the same card twice on the same spot thinking I wouldn't notice. I did and fashioned my own hole. Then they put the price up. Sorry, but this experience is no longer worth it. Sorry Shane.

Sadly stood there for a while, 2 baristas on shift. 1 made eye contact twice and never acknowledged me. Just went off to the next coffee shop. Shame, the location is prime!

Usually stop for a quick coffee here on our Mooloolaba visits. The coffee is almost always good. Not sure of the blend, could be Tim Adams? Needs a double shot for my taste. There's not a lot of seating, just two long tables inside & a few outside. Am guessing outside to be pet friendly.

Worst experience eating out. Ordered Avo toast. Front Staff checked in back and said we have it. He gave me a heads up that I have to make it by my own. I was given two piece of cold sourdough bread and half a avocado and two pieces of lemon. Tried to toast near front staff area but couldn’t leave the food unattended as birds were seen around. Just warmed the bread. The avo was hard and unriped and the cutlery was takeway wooden ones. Ended up dropping a piece of hard avo on floor while staining my white cloth. The butter was in a regular tub. One of the other customer gave after she used and said had to put it back on fridge after use. What a waste of time and money if everything has to be done by self. What’s the point of paying if even the food quality was poor. I could have made it at my own kitchen and would taste 10times more better.

A small cafe with a difference. ‘Self toast’ the toastie or fruit bread you purchase. Great coffee, thankfully made by the baristas.

This little gem of a coffee bar is just great! The staff are friendly and the coffee is awesome! We played checkers and enjoyed a super muesli slice (home made). So close to the beach you can just pop over and grab a take away coffee if you prefer.

One of the few cafés in the area that stays open relatively late, making it a handy stop when most others have closed. The space is quite small and doesn’t offer an ocean view, so most people opt for takeaway. Not a sit-down spot, but convenient and reliable when you need a good coffee later in the day.

Delicious hot chocolate and great location across the street from Mooloolaba main beach. Ya Boi recommends. Things are well 👊🏻

They've dropped the ball..Latte is a breakfast coffee, smooth blended.. the last latte I'll ever have there was a bitter long black with a bit of cold milk thrown on top, shocker.. been decent for 12 years, maybe it's been sold.. We had three lattes they were all rubbish, sunday morning..

We were staying at the Grand Palais where this cafe has popped up since we last visited. This place always seemed to be buzzing so we decided to give it a try. My order was the avocado which was quite delicious with the added mint, peas & whipped feta. The special was a baked potato also delicious & highly recommended. Coffee didn't hit the mark for us though unfortunately.

A lovely spot with a decent menu if you aren’t vegetarian but we had eggs on sourdough and waffles and they were both great. Food presented beautifully and we got to sit in the sun as well on a nice winters day. They had dogs bowls full of water too which was handy.

What a great cafe! Inside & outside dining options were great, although there is a bit of road noise if you sit outside. Our food & coffee was lovely. I’d definitely come back if I was in the area.

What a little surprise just outside my door. Great coffee, buzzing vibe, good food and the best Lemon Curd I’ve had in years to accompany toast, the peanut butter is also recommended. Raspberry and White Chocolate muffins are delicious and packed the flavour. Don’t forget the chocolate brownie too just the right amount of crunch and softness and rich flavour. Wonderful. I’ll be back when I’m this way.

Beautiful spot nestled right behind the beach, i’m surprised it wasn’t way busier. I ordered the chilli eggs subbed for the tofu option and it was fabulous. So well seasoned and all components of the dish worked well together. A little heavy on the olive oil though which made the sourdough a little bit soggy. They have heaps of vegan options for dine in meals and take away bites. The muffins looked amazing and the zucchini brownie is delicious! Plenty of places to sit, cute decorations and gift shelf with chocolates and ceramics. Service was friendly and prompt ☺️

I bring my client here at least twice a week for lunch, it’s hands down our favourite spot on the Sunshine Coast. The food is consistently fresh, healthy, and really well priced. The ever-changing salads are absolutely incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had. We’re obsessed with the lasagne, chicken toastie, jackfruit toastie, homemade chicken pie, and the nachos. We always add a side salad too! You can really taste the quality in every dish, and it’s a bonus that they don’t use any seed oils. The Chef the young lady that works there is so lovely and kind, she always comes out and says hello and remembers our names. If you’re after a delicious, nourishing meal, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Every time we eat here, we leave happy and satisfied

Pretty aesthetic 🫶🏾very minimalist, simple elegance and plenty of natural light!! It’s perfectly situated in the heart of Mooloolaba and has so many sweets and sandwiches to offer. The staff were brilliant and respectful. I wish they added eggs Benedict to their menu though 🥲 Overall great experience!! Highly recommend.

Just got back from overseas and was super excited to see this new place open. Have now eaten there 5 days in a row 🙈 The burrito 🌯 is my fave! Had an iced tumeric latte on tiger nut milk & am so grateful for their alternative milk selections - the best on the market & no seed oils/refined sugar. I’ll be back again and again!

This is hands down some of the best vegan food I’ve had in Queensland this trip. Stumbled across this place and had to stop in after looking at how nice it looked inside. Food was incredible. I had the scrambled tofu and it was so perfect. Coffee was really great and but the spot to kick start my morning.

Favorite place I’ve been to on the Sunshine Coast. Such a beautiful and versatile cafe, also the perfect food to take-away to the beach. Delicious food, and they stay away from seed oils!! The sweetest staff.

Friendly service with a nice environment to sit in, food was quick to come and amazing! Chicken toastie was full of chicken and so much flavour and the warm cinnamon scroll was delicious!

The sandwich was well-seasoned, but it was too oily and the smell of cooking oil inside the shop was overpowering.

Overall my experience was alright. They do have an organic blend and the girls made a beautiful long black for me. However, one thing I’d like to add is that for a large long black they charged me $6. This happened on a Monday, not public holidays. Now, this is a keep cup and everywhere else that had organic coffee has charged me $4.50.

Avoid at any cost We went for brunch, 2 kids were running the cafe. Tables were dirty and took half an hour to clean the tables that had already left. Sticky tables, water pooled on the table and under salt shaker. Ordered the big breakfast, came with no chipolatas and no baked beans. The 2 kids were acting like nothing mattered to them especially the customer! We had a horrible experience and I'll never go back.

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. Was able to get seating looking out towards beachfront. The burger/beer special is a winner. Orders made fresh, so a little wait; but no issue, as there are worse places to be when waiting than beautiful Mooloolaba. Generous and fresh served. Very tasty. Thanks team.

We were visiting from Canada and were in need of some lunch. We walked over to The Wharf but everything seemed a bit too fancy for us. We stumbled upon The Black Fox and noticed their Foxy burger special $28.00 for burger fries and a beer or wine. Great deal for the Beachfront. Our server was friendly and courteous and our burgers were fab. Chips were really good too. We had a great lunch and a very nice time. Thanks guys. Highly recommend!!

Find another place. Maybe it depends what you have, but my eggs on toast with extras... was really bad. They use the most budget ingredients ever. I paid extra for beans and Chipotle sausages... if I knew it was going to be baked beans I wouldn't have bothered. Absolutely budget and gross. Maybe their smoothies are ok... but cooked food is a no go. I definitely didn't finish my meal. Bunch of kids just standing around while tables are clearly dirty. $26 for Kaka. Avoid, avoid avoid. Sorry guys.

My family and I were holidaying at Mooloolaba this week. We stopped in for brunch on the Esplanade on the way out. We chose the Black Fox. Beautiful amazing food and coffee. Highly recommend! I ordered from the table and put in the order notes to get my son's meal first and they read the notes. Great service 😊. Thanks for a great end to our holiday guys.

The Vegan "Gourmet sandwich" was very very poor. Came here over Christmas and felt very much overpaid for 2 slices of bread and some vegetables. Poorly put together, no flavour and very much over priced for the quality. Nice decor and the place is nice but it ends there.

Always have our daily coffee at Envy when visiting Mooloolaba. Why? Vittoria coffee served at just the right temperature; daily healthy home cooked treats if you are tempted, extremely pleasant, friendly staff and a Loyalty Card with the 8th coffee free. Added to this, its set back from the Buzz of the foreshore and is quiet and comfortable. Papers are available and you dont feel as if you have to vacate your seat quickly!

Ordered eye fillet steak burger ... sounds great. .. what I received was something similar to a minute steak that you would buy for $2.00 at a kids footy game. In addition the meat was cold , obviously pre cooked and zapped in microwave. Very disappointing considering we paid $30.00 for a toasted sandwich and the burger.

This is a cool cafe with a good vibe and, most importantly, great coffee! The staff are friendly and you always feel welcome there. Nice work guys! :)

After just moving to the area I went looking for a local coffee shop. I'm so glad I found my new local coffee shop now quickly!! The staff are so friendly. I was made welcome from day one and after visiting on my second time. The barista remembered my coffee without me saying anything. The best coffee shop in town!!

Old favorite revived, the same lovely couple who owned the previous restaurant has reopened this spot as a café, and it's just as charming!!! I visited at 12.30 with friends to enjoy a relaxed lunch, but heard they were busier on the morning so lucky for us 🍀🍀🍀 Prompt and wonderful service, with tasty and gorgeous food. I have the Steak Sandwich was rich, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Paired it with a delicious coconut matcha, the sweetness was perfectly balanced and it has such an aromatic smell 🥥 The atmosphere was so chill and the service was top-notch. No food photo, but I'll be back for more and won't forget the camera next time to take photo for the gorgeous food!!!

This spot used to be my favorite restaurant, and I was so happy to see it reopened as a café by the same lovely couple owners. They’ve decided to slow things down a bit to focus more on family, but you can still feel the same care and passion in everything they do here. I dropped by around 12:15 for a lunch with my friends, though I heard it gets a bit busier in the mornings. The vibe was relaxed, and the service was absolutely wonderful. I had the Wagyu beef and bacon burger, and it was honestly amazing!!Rich in flavor, juicy meat, and cooked just right. To go with it, I tried the coconut matcha, which had a lovely aroma and a perfect balance of sweetness. They’re still new in this café chapter, so I really hope more people come and support them. With great food, fantastic drinks, and genuinely kind service, this place definitely deserves more love.

Nice location. Food was decent for the price, poached eggs a little overdone. Hash brown is a good add on for $2. Service was fine. Decaf coffee wasnt the best, but the normal coffee was good.

Such a gem in Mooloolaba The Must Café truly lives up to its name. The vibes are warm and cozy, the food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was top-notch. What made the experience even better was the staff — so kind, friendly, and welcoming. I ordered the mushroom on toast with pesto spread and a bite of cube sweet potato — the perfect combination! So flavorful and beautifully balanced. The special menu of the day was Banana Matcha — such a good balance of flavor in every sip, made with premium matcha from Japan. I’m a big fan of matcha, so I absolutely loved it! Perfect spot for a relaxed brunch, a coffee catch-up, or even a solo chill moment. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had wagyu burger and chicken schnitzel sandwich. They were tasty, and very generous in portion. The coffee was also great, though the banana bread matcha wasn’t really my style. Still, it is close to the beach and the staff were very friendly, so I’d love to come back again.

Beautiful setting across from the ocean, extremely friendly staff, good food and great coffee! Our waitress this morning was a young girl in a light pink long sleeve shirt, and I’m pretty sure she is the kindest and most hospitable person I’ve ever met! Even if the food turned out to be bad (which it wasn’t), I would have given 5 stars because of her!

Amazing food and drinks, and incredible customer service from the workers here! They were so attentive and friendly and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Had a couple of drinks, some frankfurter and the pork nuckle. My partner and I shared this for lunch. $67 ish but fantastic. The beer suggested by the waiter as I don't know any German brands. Sausage very tasty but would have been better with a sauce. Pork nuckle beautiful. Not all crackle but most was. Booking the nuckle is suggested as they can run out. Would go back.

Great coffee and our toddler loved the babycino art! The chocolate brownie was amazing and we couldn’t go past a warm pretzel either. Staff were lovely as well. Awesome little cafe and will definitely be back during our holiday

The Bavarian bar is next to a shopping arcade, with a popular outside pavement restaurant. There are nice views of the beach and it's great for people watching. Go for brunch! We did, twice. The menu has many good things on it, delicious looking plates went by me - wish I'd tried the avocado toast and proper overnight oats Bircher muesli but instead I had the excellent and generously portioned bacon, eggs & toast special and another time, the 'hotpot', a tasty stew of spicy sausage, capsicums, ham & tomato based sauce, which also comes with thick toast. If you look closely (in photo) on the board out front you can read their specials. Staff are lovely. They serve Erdinger beers.

Great feed, lovely restaurant and friendly attentive staff. We went for the Oktoberfest platter which was more than enough to feed 2. Good bottled beer to go with it too. The only thing that could have been better was the pretzel which was quite hard and a little tough. I actually don't know if that's normal or not but I know the Bavarian Bier Cafe chain do very fresh and fluffy ones with more rock salt on them. Minor thing! Certainly did not spoil our meal. We will be back 🇩🇪

Absolutely terrible experience! I’d recommend the other coffee shop at the Home maker centre as staff there are super friendly. I’ve been there few times but thought I’d try Emjays. Destiny the young manager was rude and gruff towards patrons. Made us very uncomfortable which was unnecessary. Manners and kindness go a long way!!

Lunch date with my sweets the other week. A regular lunch spot for him, however my first visit. Located in the Maroochy Homemaker centre. Plenty of parking underground. Friendly female staff, welcomed us and took our order. I asked for a suggestion on a salad and order her suggestion of the Quinoa and Chicken. Loved it! Warm with lots of juicy chicken pieces, quinoa, feta and salad greens. I stuck a couple of sweet potato fries from hubby, yum! Crispy with soft centre. He enjoyed his ultimate Burger, the lot. Lots of yummy dishes and beverages to enjoy, sweet and savoury, hot or cold. In or outdoor dining. Plenty seating and a couple cosy couches, chairs. Definitely won't be my last lunch date 🥰😋

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The service at this café was absolutely appalling. The two girls at the front counter were extremely rude and disrespectful - openly gossiping and badmouthing other customers while serving people, not even bothering to lower their voices. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I gave them a look multiple times hoping they’d realise how inappropriate they were being, but they just kept going. As for the coffee - it was disgusting, bitter, and undrinkable. The food? Cold and clearly not made with any care. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or decent food 👏🏼

My wife and I were feeling peckish after looking around in the centre and we were walking past here. Out the front there was a very friendly and exuberant young man named Riley. I haven not met someone this nice in hospitality in a decade! He was brilliant! I was very sceptical about the food at first because I can be a bit hard to please, but the breakfast Turkish sandwich was absolutely out of the world. Riley also recommended the chips, which to my surprise lived up to the hype! We were absolutely blown away by them! Easily some of the best I've ever had. The other young man there was also incredibly nice and super friendly. Very cool people. Great food, great coffee, and probably the best service I've had in years. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area.

I've been visiting this cafe for nearly 2 years now in Maroochydore home-maker centre. The coffee is one of the best on the coast. Food is good. My only complaint is that the girl on the front counter she never smiles or engages in any conversation. I thought she didn't have a personality but gets quite animated when other staff members turn up & you hear all about their weekends, talking and laughing quite loudly. I'm ok about that, but please train your staff to smile and engage with customers. I'm sure as a barista she does a wonderful job. We are paying for your service so please use some personality!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walked into Gloria Jean’s and was greeted with the friendliest smiles, good convo, and even a few giggles! I got the Salted Caramel Chiller so creamy and delicious and my boyfriend had the Irish Nut Crème, which was just as amazing. Such a fun, feel-good visit!

Located near the entrance to the beach, this café doesn’t offer a direct ocean view, but you can still hear the waves in the background. The spacious terrace makes it a comfortable spot to linger over your coffee and enjoy the seaside atmosphere without the crowd. A quiet, easygoing place to pause and recharge.

I can’t comment on food but I’ve been in twice to order an ice latte in the morning and I think her name is Grace? But she’s super friendly, made sure my dog had water to drink and makes really good coffee! As someone who travelled here from Melbourne it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area :)

Wife collected a breakfast wrap similar to what others are selling these days, egg, bacon, hash brown and cheese all wrapped up and toasted in a sandwich press. Unfortunately I don't think GJ have a deep fryer for the hash brown, so it hides inside the other cooked items but remains just above raw. Once removed the remaining wrap was edible, but rather dry and lacking sauce. Other items were ok, sausage roll and toasted sandwiches, but the wrap with hash brown needs improvement.

After going in there today and the way I was greeted by the staff member, never ever again will I go in there, disgusting attitude, save yourself the bad experience and don't go there. Worst attitude I have ever encountered to be honest. Bravo to the owner, I reckon you have the rudest staff member in the country. I only gave a 1 star because I had to to leave this review, if I had my way, you wouldn't get any stars.

Amazing cocktails, friendly staff and small meals where fresh and flavourful. Live music and chic decor. Definitely will be back!

Went there on the second night the restaurant was opened. This is a funky little cocktail/wine bar. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful and despite a few teething problems this was a fun place to go for some post-work beers. Great atmosphere looking out toward the Mooloolaba Ocean.

Elevate is magical. We did not intend to walk into Elevate. Their live music lured us in on the way to dinner. Three rounds and plenty of bartender chat later, and we were in love. The unintentional portion of our night was the most fun. Try the the Amoretto Sour.

Awesome breakfast, especially with Bloody Mary's for the hungover. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Love this place.

Excellent staff and great food. There were a number of good options to choose from. Unusually, we all enjoyed our three courses. (Two are our normal routine but the choices were difficult to decline.) The entrees were perfect. The mains were well presented and the desserts were diverse enough to meet most tastes. My dessert was superb. The staff were all delightful and they made the night a very enjoyable experience.

10 out of 10 for your burgers and your COVIDSAFE practices 👍 Came back a couple of weeks later and the Gin menu here is amazing. Worth checking out.

My sister in law and I decided on this restaurant after looking at the various menus along the strip. Well, we were so impressed by everything. Our waitress Jenna made sure that everything was fine. Checked on us through the night to see if we needed anything and even gave suggestions on what to order. We ordered the coconut prawns for an entree and could have eaten several plates of them. My chicken was very flavoursome and the cabonara was made the traditional way, as confirmed by the chef. If you are looking for a great place to dine at Mooloolaba, I can highly recommend Elevate.

This was an unusually disappointing experience, though prefacing this review with acknowledgment that I do generally love this Deli. The food and coffee are amazing and the staff are lovely. This review is for the $120 platter I bought. I have bought these platters twice previously, however Bfresh have apparently updated their platters. The presentation is sorely lacking - I could never serve this platter as is, and would certainly do my own purchasing and styling next time. Previous platters - amazing! I called Bfresh after i came home and viewed the platter as I thought I had been given the wrong sized however they told me they measure out the contents and style it for me so I got what I paid for. I was told I paid for presentation and putting together of the platter as well as the contents. I was also provided with one pack of crackers. See pics. Very disappointing and I will not be buying a platter again.

I ordered a curried egg sandwich, toasted, because it looked so good in the display cabinet! It was perfect, as was my Beet juice, very fresh 😊

I have been coming here regularly for some time now and whilst some of the staff are lovely and friendly others are grumpy and rude this goes for both the cafe and the grocery shop. My experience today was sadly not a good one and so I feel I need to share. I was simply trying to be helpful in indicating to the lady on the checkout that someone had left a carton of fresh pineapple behind/ in the wrong spot so they could pop it back in the fridge. The lady rudely replied that this is where they are normally displayed (non-refrigerated), tried to make me feel stupid for suggesting, and gave not a word of thanks. I then felt I needed to ask that she put my groceries in the bag I had brought with me (on previous occasions she hasn't offer a bag or to bag them for me so I felt I needed to ask). Some people just shouldn't be serving customers.

Best cafe ever, my partner and I come every week and get the chicken bacon wild bread and beach bum smoothie. So good!

Great place to pop in when passing ,food all delicious. Usually plenty of seating outside or in .The best bit is the amazing atmosphere ,love it.Need more places like this . Deli looks fresh ,great cheeses ,fridge has good steaks ,pies quiches all look yummy ,bit expensive but would be a treat. Fresh bread & fruit counters ,pasta & pasta sauces sold all look delicious. Always pop in when passing .

This is a good venue for meeting in a small group. They cater for most dietary needs. The service is friendly. The coffee is great and you can do a fruit, veg or deli shop before you leave.

Very good quality food and the decaf coffee here is amazing, tastes even better than the real coffee. Great portions, my favourites are the mexican stack, Acai bowl with chocolate granola and the banana bread which is not too sweet and full of yummy nuts. This has been my new addiction place because the food is simple but good quality and tasty. Note: the service here is not the best. The coffee wait is ok but the food can take a while even if it is just reheating. Do not come here if you are in a rush. Once it took more time to heat up my banana bread than for my coffee to arrive (more than 15mins to heat up banana bread), half my coffee was gone and I had to go inside to ask for the banana bread. The wait time for food is long especially in peak hours, there have been multiple times I have gone up and asked where my food was. Other than that, this place is very delicious, recommend going in not peak hours.

Absolutely bloody tasty coffee. It took me right back to when I first fell in love with coffee.. they have lactose intolerance option which works well for me.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is without doubt the best coffee (and Bagels) on the Sunshine Coast. Just a wonderful team with outstanding Barista skills and a focus on great customer service. You can always be assured of an outstanding coffee and a friendly smile. I can also highly recommend the delicious bagels.....they are just scrumptious. Keep up the great work team!

Last weekend was our first time at Red Shed Espresso. It's a nicely decorated, modern, bright cafe. The coffee was great and the bagels were fantastic, so much that my picky 5 year old wants bagels in his school lunch now. Nick, the owner was awesome and super friendly as were his other staff. Such a great location being near the esplanade so we took a stroll afterwards. Highy recommended!

Every morning I come past for my daily dosage of amazing tasting coffee. The decor and staff are outstanding and first class service. If you are a true coffee conasuier you will definitely vist The Zephyr Bar. By the way the bagels are to die for!

Great atmosphere, set in a historic boat shed. Loved sitting under the passionfruit vine sipping a perfect coffee. Just 50m away from the beach and the hustle and bustle of the esplanade. Consistently good coffee!

My go to place for coffee every time I visit the Sunshine Coast. Great coffee, Geat Service, Geat staff and always a fantastic atmosphere. You haven't tried the best until you've tried The Red Shed Expresso @ Mooloolaba.

The coffee was nice and hot. The food tasty and generous portions. If you got small children early is better..it does get busy around 11 am.

Had a fantastic Sunday brekky here, excellent coffee and food with plenty of space for a big group! Well worth a visit if you are in the area, prices a bit high, but well worth the chef's craft. Great staff, quick service!

This place is really nice. Service was friendly. The menu is not huge but we liked everything on it. The food we ordered was well made and great with most items being somewhat unique so it is not the usual boring stuff. Will definately ce here again.

This place is seriously one of, if not the, best Cafe I've had the pleasure to find. The coffee is excellent, and there's a single origin as well. The barista is at the top of his game, and loves his profession, and that shines through in his pours. The staff are very friendly and the food that comes out of the kitchen is total quality, all the way. This Cafe is the best example of a very simple premise. Simple food done well will always be great. A very carefully composed all-day menu, that is sure to please everyone. Quality ingredients, treated with absolute care and respect, results in fantastic food, no matter what is chosen. 6/5!

Beautiful food, really really good. Staff were barely interested in taking our order and we only persisted because the options elsewhere were limited. In other circumstances I'd have gone elsewhere, which would have been a shame because the food was excellent.

Coffee had a nice flavour, but it was served way too hot for coffee. Place was run by children - maybe still at school? Parked right outside, served quiclky and overall it was a nice stop off.

Coffee was less than average $15 for Avo on toast was terrible, the avo was hard and the toast was bread not toast, $10 for egg on toast was no better, have breakfast at home, you couldn't possibly make a worse job yourself!

Average coffee, unintelligent staff (except for one girl who seems to be the saving grace of the place) ordered eggs Benedict; Got hard eggs covered in runny margarine (just buy the catering hollandaise instead of attempting to make it )on some baby spinach no ham or bacon - and yes the menu read Benedict not Florentine. Do not recommend.

I rarely bother to write reviews, but felt in this instance it was warranted. Ordered the big breakfast, noticed not much in the way of sides on the menu (no mushroom, sausage or sauces) for $20 dollars, so was expecting a very large serve. Meal came out, the two small eggs were cooked well but tasted strongly of vinegar, two teaspoons of cold can beans, a quarter slither of tomato cut in two and fried, a very small amount of spinache leaf, a soggy hash brown and ONE rash of bacon! Not to mention the confusing look we got when asking for table water. This is the closest I've felt to being robbed since actually being robbed. Pull up your socks guys, put your heart in the game, it's not holiday season year round, repeat custom from locals should be a priority.

The staff are lovely but unfortunately the coffee and the food left a lot to be desired. My coffee, (flat white with an extra shot) tasted like a cup of luke warm milk. Waited half an hour for my BLT to turn up and left before it did.

We ordered 3 meals from the middle age gentlemen at the counter (who we think is the owner or manager). It took quite a long time to order as he wasn't confident working the till. Had to ask us multiple times what the next item was and turned around to talk to kitchen staff through the window to figure out what was included in each meal (while he was in the middle of talking to us) and what buttons to press on the till. He tried to upsell items e.g. asking if I wanted cheese on my burger - I said yes I did as it came with cheese on the menu. It also said it came with salad on the menu however this was left off. Request for crispy bacon and side tomato sauce was noted on the order but also forgotten. Hot chocolates came out warm not hot. Overall food was ok but took 35 mins to come out, after we asked where it was. No apology ever given or anyone asking how we were enjoying things. If the manager had been friendly and sincere in apology for the wait it would have helped the experience. We felt rude needing to remind them about the things they had forgotten and asking to have missing salad, sauce and hot choco remade... however for $15 each meal and $5drinks there are other places close by where you'd get a great customer experience and faster service.

Schwenkee was spectacular!! The service were exceptional, the food was divine and coffee was so smooth & flavourful! I am vegan and found them super accommodating! It didn't skimp on flavour either :) will be coming back here again!

Stopped by here for breakfast. I ordered the veggie wrap which had avocado & lots of cherry tomatoes. Didn't care for the mushrooms, but that's just my thing!! Would have loved to have tried the coffee, but we had already had one , maybe next time. Pleasant service

Most delicious breakfast out that I've ever had. Literally! I had passed this place a few times, thinking it looked like a sweet, boutique cafe and finally got a chance to try it for Sunday brekkie. If you want a special place that has polished service, great coffee and GORGEOUS food with all the micro-herbs and the works --- go here! The waffles were amazing. I'll definitely be back, next time for the Lamb Bruschetta!

Delicious waffles and poached pear. Waffles were a bit soggy and not the super nice crispy or at least firm type, but they were very tasty and a well put together meal. I might try something else next time The iced matcha latte was super well done. Nice cafe to visit if you're ever in Mooloolaba.

Less than 100mtrs from Mooloolaba main beach this cafe is a must try. Delicious coffee, filling meal vegetarian options and lovely staff. Definitely give them a go 💯

Good food, good coffee, friendly staff - you won't be disappointed! Just be prepared to wait up to an hour for your food, and 20 minutes for your coffee, during very busy times :) If you don't want to wait that long either come super early or around 10am

Excellent coffee. Great menu. Staff were really friendly and did a fantastic job of creating a welcoming environment. It's a shame that we live 2 hours away otherwise I'd stop by every morning. Thanks guys.

My favourite cafe on the Sunshine Coast. The owners greet me by my name and always make me feel welcome, no matter how busy they are (and they usually are!). No one makes a half-strength cappucino as good as this place, and depending who is taking my order, I don't even have to tell them how I take my coffee! I love the raspberry and white chocolate muffins, especially when warmed up.

Will not be going here again. Was charged $7.80 for a SMALL ice long black. Not made of money like the rest of the surrounding canal inhabitants. The young blonde girl at the till needs to read back orders to the customers as she did not make the price clear. Terrible customer service and exorbitant prices. Went to Aldi next door and bought an inflatable pool that was cheaper than my coffee. ffs.

Cute little cafe tucked away in Brightwater Mountain Creek. Our regular go to for breakfast is their Classic Eggs eggs served on toasted sourdough with blistered cherry tomatoes and fresh baby spinach. Great coffee. Friendly staff.

Lovely little cafe! My only negative comment is the lack of aircon/fans, I tend to overheat though, so for most people I'm sure it would be fine. Lovely staff and service 🥰

All I wanted was a dash of soy milk in my tea and she wanted to charge me $1.00 (I’m not having a cappuccino full of soymilk). Well she missed a sale for a breakfast and a tea all for $1.00. She couldn’t care less

Lovely family owned cafe. Owners and staff are all so kind. Coffee is always amazing (strong and bold but never bitter). Staff never burn alternative milks and they have a good decaf blend as well. Food is always big servings for the price. They have a section of kids puzzles and colouring in books that are always a big hit, indoor and outdoor seating and a lovely atmosphere. I have been here with family, friends and solo to get some work done and it's always been the perfect choice.

Used to think this place was the bomb, but have been back a couple of times in the past couple of weeks, and it's gone downhill... For example, the size of the Eggs Benedict has definitely shrunk and the prices have gone up. The shakes have also gotten smaller (you now get them in a medium size glass rather than the large metal cup you used to get them in) and more expensive. Heard other tables around me commenting on the price also. Won't be rushing back any time soon.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Invited into a pool competition by one of the staff, Tay. Made us feel welcome but we lost. Snack foods available along with a full bar. Will go back next time I am in mooloolaba.

Amazing craft beers and cocktails. Friendly and knowledgeable staff host this hidden oasis. With beanbag, swing chairs, surfboard carved tables and amazing artwork on the walls with chandeliers to set it off. Well worth the visit and we will be back again. Good for all ages (18+ though)

Very new place, well hidden but worth finding. Great atmosphere, and girl that served us was super friendly. Small on tap beer selection as they are new, but the beers on offer are good options.

nice casual spot. we got jugs of cocktails which were great on a saturday afternoon. I do remember sweating up a storm though so wish they had more fans or something.

Best pizza I've had on the coast in years!! Strong beer selection, something for everyone. 5star service.
