Went here for some desserts after a meal out with friends and family. There is plenty of seating available inside with no ques and service was quick and attentive.
All the food ordered was serviced quickly and the food was good particular the waffles were great. The Creps were a bit soggy rather being crispy.
Other negative points were that we still had to order at the Till, despite being a covid requirement and the table was not cleaned prior to us being sat down and the glasses they gave for water was dirty.

The food was standard what you would expect nothing special at all it like minuim £10 for any desert which isn't . Service was ok they seemed friendly people....the people in the desert place not to much as if they were animals how they were behaving...I'm not sure what the area is like but didn't seem good to me.

Plenty of choices, bit dated inside was clean though. Surprising they don't sell faloudas they sell kebabs and chops as well. Staff were good and service was prompt everyone got correct deserts.
Best desert place I've been to, beautifully designed, loved the homely touch the bookshelves added to the very classy look of the rest of the place, prices were brilliant for the very generously portioned desserts (chose 2 of the first page brownie creations) which were both delicious, could've easily shared one between us, staff were friendly and delightful, overall a truly exceptional experience, highly recommend
Decor and vibe is nice! Nice seatings with relaxing ambiance. It’s a shame the desserts were terrible! Cookie dough wasn’t baked properly and tasted bitter probably because of the sauce. Had Desi tea which tasted sour like the milk had gone off

Doh'hut, a popular donut shop with locations in Leeds and London, has been making waves with its latest creation, the Dagel. This unique donut-bagel hybrid is coated in everything seasoning and filled with options like cream cheese and chive or classic flavors such as jam, sugar, and vanilla creme patisserie. The shop also offers weekly specials like mocha, creme brulee, cereal milk, and blood orange.
Really the best donuts you can get, the classics are great but the specials they come up with are amazing. They've perfected the dough, it's pillowy soft with a slight crispiness that gives it integrity as you eat it.
At this point I've tried so many my only gripe is that they aren't speedier with announcing the specials on social media, I need to know whether to plan it into my week, seriously

Travelled 4 hours for these doughnuts and they did not disappoint! I haven't been able to have them since they left London, and decided for my birthday I needed them again. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were super friendly. The doughnuts were just as good as I remembered. The softness, flavour, and freshness of the doughnut is unmatched. The chocolate ganache, perfectly balanced with respect to milk and dark chocolate, and a glorious velvety consistency. The raspberry jam, again. perfectly balanced but with respect to sweetness and tartness (very different to the overly sweet stuff you get from other jam doughnut)! Also, and importantly, the doughnuts are PROPERLY filled - in want filling in each bite, which Doh Hut definitely delivers. Best doughnuts ive had in the UK hands down - please come here!
If you love filled donuts, Doh’hut is a must visit! They serve the style donuts we all dream about, but with a distinctly British feel, think jam or custard-filled donuts, only on a whole new, indulgent level.
I tried two donuts, the Chocolate Filled Brownie and the Butterscotch & Angel Delight. Both were absolutely amazing, packed with so much delicious filling. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the donuts themselves were cooked so well.
I was so impressed I even asked the staff how long these could last, I was tempted to take some all the way back home to South Wales! Freshness is key, and these are definitely best enjoyed straight from the shop.
If you’re in Leeds and love donuts that go above and beyond, Doh’hut should be top of your list.

My favourite coffee shop in Leeds! The donuts are incredible and freshly made and honestly the best donuts and coffee I’ve ever had. Yet to try the sandwiches but feel confident they will be just as delicious!
Great donuts, probably one of the best I’ve had. Just right sweetness level and chewy dough, although I’d say the donut skin is a bit too thin and there’s a lot of filling.
The cheesecake donut with raspberry and white chocolate, filling was raspberry flavoured, even though it had a lot but didn’t feel too heavy.
They don’t do chai latte sadly, only coffees
Doughnuts are out of this world! Lovely little shop, great selection of doughnuts and drinks. Vegetarian/alcohol free but do ask when there are any specials on. Favourites are the creme patisserie and the chocolate ganache. 4 stars as i found the customer service to be quite aggressive. You made me feel very belittled and that you couldn’t be bothered to serve me again. Would i visit again? Of course, but do keep the bad mood in the kitchen next time. Sorry to have disturbed you!

Haute Dolci Leeds is a dessert haven located in The Light center, offering an extensive menu of elegant and delectable treats. With its pink, flowery decor, it's a perfect spot for indulging in sweet delights and capturing Instagram-worthy moments. While it's more of a dessert restaurant than a traditional coffee shop, they also serve cappuccinos and macarons that are intensely sweet in the best way.
Haute Dolci at its finest! I've been a fan of HD since I first stepped here in Leeds.. From the ambiance, the staff and the food itself. I was once addicted to it before and comes at least twice or thrice a week (the price is affordable that time).
HD has been upgrading since then; the menu, internal design and the crew, the price is also increasing (though the quality and quantity is very worth it!) There is more variety to choose from now (they got mains already) but I always go back to the dessert I once loved! Its always consistent!
Maryu, one of the crew has been the best waiter who served us, he's been so accomodating and have a pleasant expression everytime. He's been playful with my daughter and understood my special request for my daughter (to separate 1 waffle, I forgot to ask to separate some strawberries to avoid contact with chocolate but instead he had the initiative to give us a separate one) and for that we are very pleased and thankful, my baby is so happy and indulged every bit of it!
I also commend the chef as he is always consistent on what he do, the presentation and and flavorful masterpiece he does is wonderful and magnificent!
HD has a nice posh ambience that well suites with your tastebuds, also an instragammable place. Good for groups and family and some alone time too!
Tried HD in manchester a couple of times but the waffle texture and flavor is not the same here in Leeds, I always compare the two and it does not match. Photos from way back then and some today!

I went to Haute Dolci and tried the pistachio latte and the pistachio gelato made by the lovely Shristi, she made the drinks so tasty and well presented, I had to take a photo. My friend had the mocha which was just as tasty. It's a great place to meet and catch up with friends. The whole team is very welcoming and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place, go and check it out for yourself :)
Ordered 3 desserts, two were fine, the third (cookie dough) was burnt!! Didn’t bother to complain / ask for another because I knew we’d be waiting another hour
Tables full of customers waiting for their food and only one waiter to be seen! Seems like they work at their own pace, don’t seem to care how long they have people waiting…Took 50 minutes to get our desserts, wouldn’t visit again
Had a great experience - The service was amazing special shoutout to Sanika, who was super friendly and helped me decide what to order when I couldn’t make up my mind. Really appreciated her patience and recommendations. At the end, I tried their Cappuccino, and wow — that was a bad boy!

The restaurant is exceptional, with fantastic presentation of the decor and the ice cream. Additionally, it was very delicious at affordable prices! They did a very good job making my mother feel special on her birthday. Shristi and Riya were very kind and accommodating in particular. We will definitely be coming back!
Had such a delicious ice cream with the Belgium sauce and it was absolutely spectacular, 200% would recommend to any new comers. Lovely server called Aizah made sure we enjoyed our delicious experience, me and my dear friends embarked on a sweet adventure.

This place is very nice! I got the "I'll have what she's having" because they didn't have any bananas but I would highly recommend it for anyone who is a first-timer. They have a nice variety but not too big so all the crepes they make are very nice and good quality. I wish there was a bit more crepe, but it could be because I was very hungry. Very nice.
I ordered the salmon and avocado crepe, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The crepe itself was rubbery, and the presentation was unappealing. For £11, I expected a much higher standard in both taste and quality. Overall, I don’t believe the meal was worth the price, and I would not recommend this place.
Crepeaffaire can get really busy sometimes but luckily we found a seat, the food was great and the waffles especially were massive. I would recommend this place because of the nice service and good food ! I tried the savoury crepe for the first time and I was impressed, it's like a pizza in a crepe ! The waffles and smoothies were homemade and tasted great, lovely portion sizes. Fair price for good food.
I think I'll be coming back, just a shame that Trinity can be so busy sometimes :)

Visited for breakfast and loved the pancakes. The coffee was spot-on too, and the staff were really friendly. Only downsides: prices were a bit high, and sipping coffee from glasses felt weird. Plus, seating was a bit snug. Still, enjoyed it overall, but some tweaks needed, hence the 4 stars.

Beautiful pink cafe with excellent customer service. We had the vegetarian afternoon tea and the food was extremely delicious and filling. The ambience is very pink and beautiful with vintage vibes and it has a cozy atmosphere. Delicious tea, sandwiches and treats at a reasonable price to treat yourself. I've been here before and really enjoyed it but the reception yesterday was poor. We were looking for somewhere to have a cup of tea and had a little girl with us who wanted ice cream. They only serve ice-cream in the milkshakes, so said no they couldn't serve ice-cream on its own .... honestly! There wasn't another customer in the place. We left. How hard would it have been? Clearly they're well off for business and don't need customers.
Amazing place! Did a little girly baby shower afternoon tea and the staff was super helpful and the food was so yummy with pleasing fussy eaters. I got 2 little kids afternoon and they loved it! We went for traditional and Caribbean and everyone enjoy them. My personal fav was the scones, Yumm! With it begin a baby shower I was able to pre-order non-alcohol drinks. Would deffo recommend for any occasion or just a pop in during the week. Thanks so much!

They make each dish with true love and care, which they also show in how they are with customers and the world. Fully recommend the Palestine Pizza, it supports the most important cause of this generation and tastes too good 🤤🇵🇸

Had the Caprese pizza, which was lovely, and the mint choc chip gelato which was even better! They’re doing great work raising money and awareness for important causes. They are openly and vocally in support of Palestine - which is a reason to go here all on its own.
Last night's meal at ECCO Pizzeria was amazing (as usual). All the food is halal-friendly, and we have been regular customers for quite a few years now. The food NEVER disappoints. The service is also efficient and prompt via the chefs and waiters/waitresses.
Tonight we ordered a few starters each, and of course the half/half half-metre pizza which always goes down well. I would strongly recommend people to visit anytime you are around the Headingley area ❤️❤️
I was looking for a halal place to eat in Leeds, as I was visiting the Headingly area. This place came up, and I tried it out. I've been back again recently and it was as good as the first time. We ordered chicken tenders which were some of the best I've had, served with a punchy sauce. The garlic bread with cheese was delectable. The pizza was made within minutes in the wood fired oven and was delicious. The crust and dough overall were authentic and reminded me of the pizza I've had in Italy. They serve home made gelato and the service is very good. Parking is a touch difficult, but the options and overall taste are brilliant. Highly recommended.
Its perfectly fine Neapolitan Pizza, if that that's your bag. Cooked on a proper wood fired oven. Base ever so slightly thicker than other places, which isn't a bad thing. Knocked a star off for the beef pepperoni masquerading as proper pepperoni, at least state it in the menu and give us a chance. The ice cream was 👌🏼

Visited as a family of 3 this evening. The service was fantastic-the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The food came out quickly and was super tasty.
The food was good value for money, especially considering the large portions. We all LOVED the chicken tenders; they were perfectly cooked and very very tasty. My husband ordered a Bombay Pizza with less cheese and the chef followed the instructions to make a great pizza. The mushroom tagliatelle was superb (very rich so I’ve managed to save a portion for lunch tomorrow too), and my 6 year old’s kids meal was excellent too. Not a slice was left!
The mango sorbet was amazing, so fresh and the perfect end to the meal. Would highly recommend Ecco Pizzaria.

Stuzzi is a fantastic value for money small plates Italian right in the middle of Leeds.
You can tell that a lot of effort has been put into the menu and quality ingredients are used.
The larger pasta dishes are the stars of the show, perfectly cooked pasta that you just want more of.
The cocktails are also great, some fantastic combinations you wouldn't think of!
The price is also really reasonable for a small plates concept. Would definitely recommend.

Booked this for an anniversary meal, having been recommended by a friend. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly, but the food didn’t live up to the expectations.
I ordered 3 small plates and two mains, none of which had flavour - the mains were also incredibly salty.
I’ve found Leeds is home to much tastier and better priced Italian restaurants.
Easily my favourite restaurant in Leeds. Whenever I have friends visiting Leeds for the first time I always take them to Stuzzi, simply the best. I go there with the highest expectations every time and they still somehow manage to impress me.
Thank you team for all the amazing food I’ve had with you over the years! They always have great wine selection and recommendations, always great service and such a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Fantastic service levels and an interesting and varied menu with dishes ranging in size from "amusingly tiny plate" to "that's a decent portion", some care is needed when sharing, note the "each" on some menu items, especially for the bite-sized crostini.
Ingredients are clearly top level and they're combined to create some really great dishes. The cavolfiore (unexpected olive stone aside) and artichoke insulata were stand-out and the sampler pudding assortment was a real treat, at a substantial price.
The sardine "fritti" was possibly the most fishy thing I've ever encountered in my life, I expected "fishy" as it's sardines but this was turned up to 11 and then some, I couldn't eat it and could taste the bite I did manage the next day.
At £112 for 2, including the 12.35% service charge (worth every penny, they're top notch) and the £1.23 for a "gift tree", it felt a bit expensive for what it was but I'm so pleased to have finally experienced Stuzzi. I'd recommend it to anyone to try at least once.
Great Sunday afternoon into evening at Stuzzi. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. Also turned the air con down when we asked. Amazing food, it never disappoints. Dog friendly and relaxed atmosphere. One for the best spots in Leeds.
Had the deep fried lasagne from your van in Trinity Kitchens. The original was nice, tasty. The tomato and basil deep fried lasagne was kind of tasteless without the sauce & had no seasoning.

Very authentic. Feels like Italy. Food was good and if you choose wisely you don't have to spend a fortune. But if you are looking for a big feed you can do that too! Look out for their special menu

My Cookie Dough in Leeds is a dessert paradise for chocolate lovers and sweet-toothed individuals. The parlour offers a delectable selection of freshly baked cookie dough desserts, including Kinder Bueno cookie stacks and cookies and cream cookie dough. In addition to these treats, they also serve rich milkshakes made with fresh Jersey dairy ice cream and various flavors. I came to this place a couple of days ago. Even though it was nearly closing time, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, so thank you :)
The portion sizes were beyond my expectations. A cookie dough stack was more than I could eat. This is the first time I have ever taken leftover dessert home. The cookie dough was lovely, there were plenty of options and I am already looking forward to going back for more cookie dough!

Friendly and efficient service and a nice assortment of menu items to choose from when you fancy a bit of an indulgence.
We shared a "Sl***y Brownie Stack" (a bit of a daft name) which was a bit of a treat at close to £9 but when offset with some free tap water it's no so bad.
It's everything you'd expect and hope for if you're looking for a warm pudding.
The cookie dough skillet for 2 was absolutely gorgeous. Me and my grandma really enjoyed it. We also got the most delicious Nutella and oreo milkshakes. Phoebe was amazing, she was kind helpful and professional. Really delivered excellent customer service. Looking forward to our next visit 😁.
I was extremely disappointed on my last visit. No one informed me that the ice cream machine was broken, but I was served substandard ice cream without any explanation. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, and the employee's behavior is completely unacceptable.
Food was great. What let them down are some sundew where not available (cheesecake) and they had some system where they take 1 order then 2 of them make it before taking the next order? Why not take orders and seat customers? Just common courtesy. Did not feel welcomed either.
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. From the second I walked in, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. The staff looked like they’d rather be anywhere else, and their attitude made that very clear — short, cold, and borderline rude.
Then there was what I think was the manager (God help us if it actually was). This guy oozed arrogance like it was cologne. He looked at me like I was wasting his time just by being there. Zero professionalism. Zero warmth. Just this smug, condescending vibe like he thought he was too important to deal with actual customers.
It was honestly one of the worst interactions I’ve ever had in any business, period. I left feeling more irritated than when I walked in. The whole place had this toxic energy that made it feel less like a professional environment and more like a high school clique that hates outsiders.
Laughably bad. Will never return. Save yourself the headache.

I had high expectations for Heavenly Desserts but was extremely disappointed. Our group of eight was crammed into a booth meant for six, making it uncomfortable from the start. The service was disorganized—our orders were mixed up and served at completely different times, so we couldn’t enjoy our desserts together. Despite asking six times, we never received proper cutlery and had to eat with spoons.
Our server, Sania, made the experience even worse with her poor attitude and lack of customer service. She seemed disinterested, rushed through serving us, and barely acknowledged our requests. When we asked about our drinks multiple times, only one person received theirs, while the rest never arrived—even after a 30-minute wait. Meanwhile, other tables were served promptly and correctly, making our experience feel even more frustrating.
Overall, the poor service, dismissive attitude, and uncomfortable seating completely ruined our visit. This was not the experience we were hoping for, especially after hearing such great reviews. Management seriously needs to address these service issues.

On my most recent visit on 15/06/2024, there were four of us. The service was great, the premises were clean, and the vegan waffles were excellent, the quality of the fruit used was good too. The staff were very polite and patient.
I highly recommend this place if you are vegan or a family. They have a large selection of mocktail, and non alcoholic drinks, which I appreciate as someone who doesn’t drink.

my friend showed me this place so I vouch for this in a non viral way as I didn’t know it was viral until after - worth it. yes it is expensive but it is fair for what you get, top quality ingredients and some of the best treats. I bring back a Bertha every time for my family and friends to try and it’s a nice birthday cake :) But where it’s really at is the pies and cookies imo. my favourite was the cinnamon and sprinkle cookie and banoffee pie. They have merch in store.

I was visiting from Bristol and I couldn't miss getting some GB treats in person after loving their Bruce & Bertha (milk choc is my fave), as well as their incredible super fudgy brownies thanks to the nationwide delivery. The gentleman who served was very friendly, patiently explained the options left at the end of the day and helped us choose some pie slices. I'm happy to say that a Mr Pistachio made it back to Bristol as well, even if with a slightly deflated merengue - I'm so glad I bought this one in particular because it was fricking delicious, no notes, so sad it doesn't travel well so it won't be available for delivery 😣 guess I'll just have to come back in store!

It’s v beautifully located. Cute shop. This was on my Maps list since I came to Leeds.
Tried a variety of items - everything from the brownies to the cupcakes to the cookies are of high quality and use great ingredients. Can be a little pricey for some items but you do get quality for your money so this is understandable. The RGDC cookies are a personal favourite and definitely worth a visit for. Overall I’m sure there is something here for any sweet treat lover and 100% worth a visit if in the area !
The most incredible slab of cake you’ll find! Layer upon layer of pure heaven. And the cookies are so so good! I have tried most of their flavours including limited editions ones, totally recommend the cinnamon roll flavour 🤤🤤
Came here to pick up a classic bertha for my bfs birthday.
Situated in the popular student area of headingley - this is definitely the shop to go for decadent treats.
The service at the shop is fast and the girl working there was really friendly and personable.
As stated we got the classic bertha and I picked up a couple of slices of the pie (cheesecake) I had a slice of banoffee and a slice of biscoff.
I am not normally a chocolate cake fan as I find it too sickly but I was really surprised - the bertha is perfectly balanced and light.
The pie was also beautiful. The banoffee isn't overpowering and the biscoff one was also lovely. Both have the perfect ratios of biscuit to topping. I think it's well priced for the size of the slices.
We will definitely be back again! Thank you ! Perfect place to shop for a special occasion or just because!
We were up in Headingly for a meal out, we didn't opt for desserts as we wanted to visit the BEST dessert establishment 'Get Baked'. So after we left the restaurant we walked straight to Get Baked for the treats. What can I say we have previously had Bruce Cake and the sticky toffee pudding, which incidentally is the BEST I have ever tasted! This time we bought Cookies, Lemon Meringue and Biscoff pie, all of them absolutely delicious, portion sizes are so generous too. Lovely friendly staff in this shop, and always a lovely atmosphere, as everyone in the shop is like a child in a sweetshop, all excited at making that decision over which delightful dessert to choose. Highly recommend, visiting is a must

This place has a nice interior and the service was really great because the server let us try some gelato flavours. The special gelato that day was a chocolate lindt flavour which was really good. Had the ube brownie with regular ube gelato which was alright. The vegan ube gelato however just tasted of coconut milk which was not very good. Overall not a bad place.
I found out about this place from Leeds+ and I am glad I went. I ordered the Baklava Sandwich with Pistachio Gelato. The staff were all helpful and kind, and they gave a recommendation and I will definitely be returning soon

Overall is good. I quite like Ube ice cream. This is my favourite flavour so far. But me and my partner do think the dough-lato bun is not really good. It tasted quite dry and not match the ice cream really well. And the soft serve ice cream is not as good as I expected. But I’ll still back as I love ube flavour😊
Came across this small cosy dessert place randomly. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a subtle sweetness hit I recommend this lovely place. This place has a variety of desserts and new flavours such as pandan flavoured gelato and Filipino's signature ube gelato too

Was down in Leeds for work and was recommended this place and WOW! Everything about it was spot on. Great and friendly staff; food that was sensational and a brilliant selection of drinks that you can't get in many other places. Only place outside of Scotland I've seen the Vault City Iron Brew (otherwise known as the greatest drink ever created). Can't wait for my next trip to Leeds to return and for now my wallet can breathe as the worry about how much I'd spend if this was in Glasgow is real.

Such a lovely place in the city centre and so close to the train station.
The menu has a great variety and is perfect for sharing.
The nduja toast and meatballs were perfectly cooked and went down a treat. I'd reccomend the mushroom pasta as well, really fresh and filling.

Just a quick review. I spent a few days in Leeds as a solo female traveller. I used Ham & Friends as a base to meet friends and a date. I love the atmosphere the food and the care the staff provided. Kaycee is a gem, I didn’t catch the names of the two other bar staff, I wish I had because they all made my visit so welcomming and safe. It will forever be my first stop for lunch and wine on my next visit. Recommend to everyone. I may have to book you for a quietly raucous 50th?!! Perfect people watching window. Thank you.

We called in on a Saturday evening without a reservation, we were greeted as arrived and asked if wanted to wait at the bar, we were only a few minutes waiting before a table was available.
OK. I am writing this as I sit here. Firstly, it’s utterly superb. I was a walk in single diner on a Friday evening (working in Leeds Fri/Sat). It’s a cool, chic, friendly, laid back, fizzing atmosphere. I had a nice single table in the window. I let the waiters recommend wines - and they nailed it. Trust the chap with the beard - he knows what he’s taking about!! White, Red, Red. To eat I had the meatballs and the potatoes - again, waiters recommendation - sounds like the most boring dinner on the planet? Wrong, completely wrong. It was (to quote my teenage son) bang’in! Absolutely delicious - I would eat it again now. And I have only just finished it. Followed it up with a hard cheese, biscuits and a (boring but delicious) Malbec. OK. It’s not cheap. Dinner for 1 at £60 but it’s blooming good…..genuinely….really that good. Well done the Friends of Ham.Just to reiterate….it’s utterly superb.

I didn't eat, though the menu looked good! Good range of drinks. The place has a lovely vibe & it's very close to the train station. The staff were fab, very attentive , would defo go back.
Good atmosphere, very busy, good ordering experience, the tables however are very small, when our dishes came there wasn't enough room on the table for them, asked if we could move, but we couldn't, had to send it back to keep warm. Then advised to put out drinks on the shelf behind us, which we did. There still wasn't enough room to share the dishes comfortably.
Overall a bit disappointing.

Whitelock's Ale House, the oldest pub in Leeds, has a rich history dating back to 1715 when it was known as The Turks Head. Acquired by the Whitelock family in the 1880s, this atmospheric establishment has been frequented by notable figures like the Duke of Kent and John Betjeman.
We were lucky, cause we had an amazing Sunday roast for dinner! (Yes, we were a bit late) The place and the food is amazing. It looks heavy but the truth is this meal is very comfortable food. I hope I will have a chance to come back soon.

Had a delicious Sunday roast at Leeds' oldest pub, first opened in 1715—over 310 years of history! The meat was tender, the roast potatoes were tasty (soaked in rich gravy), and the Yorkshire pudding was just right. A great spot for a proper traditional roast!
One of the best roasts in Leeds. Always miss the lamb but managed to snag it this time and it was spot on. Yorkies and gravy always top, as well as the pints. Had a lovely cask oat stout on. Love this pub.
Used to visit here many years ago and pleased it's still the same. Had lunch here, very tasty food and helpful staff. Bowl of water provided for our dog before anything else! Will definitely be back again soon.
We visited Whitelocks shortly after opening time (11am) just for a couple of drinks so i can't comment on the food. My friend Steven strongly recommended the Guinness and i have to say it was the best we have had in Leeds. It was rich and creamy - fantastic! The pub is superb with a lovely old style and copper topped tables. It is a very relaxing environment and the staff were friendly.
In my research of puns to visit, this popped up on lots of lists since it is the oldest pub in Leeds! Was worried it was going to be more of a tourist trap but it was a lovely experience! Super friendly staff, delicious food and such a fun and historic interior!
Really lovely old pub we had recommended to us for our short stay in Leeds. Lovely Ilkley Brewery beer on tap and a lot of local ale suggestions. Friendly staff patiently waited for us to make our selections. The roast coming past us looked absolutely delicious!

Patisserie Valerie, Leeds: This was my first experience of afternoon tea and I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the place was clean and professional and the service was terrific.
I purchased a voucher from Buyagift for this experience and it was very affordable, around £15 if I remember correctly, I wasn’t aware that it came with drink refills which was a nice surprise.
The sandwiches were delicious, we went with the vegetarian option which had a egg, cheese and pepper selection, the quality was very high.
The scones were delicious, I wasn’t expecting hot scones so when they came and were complemented perfectly by the jam and the cream I was very impressed.
The sweet desserts were very rich, my favourite had to be the carrot cake. In terms of drinks, the hot chocolate was delicious and the tea was on point.
The macaroons were nice however, whilst I was tasted them I couldn’t help but to compare them with the ones that I tried at @h4lo_cafe which were by far the best I’ve had in a while.
Overall an amazing experience that I would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. Mum and I celebrated her 80th birthday here. Szylvia looked after us, serving a beautiful array of sandwiches, scones and cakes. All very fresh and tasty.
When we were leaving I mentioned that it was mum's birthday and the lovely manager let her choose a piece of cake from their delicious selection.
I got the deal on Groupon and it was a lovely treat for mum. She also got a brief history lesson on Valerie's.
We boxed up what we couldn't eat for the kids to enjoy at home.
Good coffee and cozy small place. Quick service. I tried the raspberry tart and the latte. The tart was so good and the latte as well. I saw everyone trying the afternoon tea It should be good,I definitely need to try it next.

Becky was really helpful from initial contact, right through to the day itself, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. She had thought of all the little touches, like offering to play background music and letting us choose the type, and the secret garden setting was amazing. Everywhere you look there is something new and quirky to see!
My sister loved her beautiful centerpiece cake. I gave Becky a rough idea of the theme and she certainly delivered, exceeding expectations!

Sunshine bakery was collaborative, creative and absolute perfection when designing and making my wedding cake. They even were kind enough to follow a specific recipe to create my husbands favourite childhood cake.
Decoration was beautiful and the flavours were delicious. I often see lots of cake left over at weddings... not at mine! Everyone raved about it.
The cafe is quaint and eclectic in decoration, and the selection of baked goods and treats has my mouth watering every time I go in!
The people who run it are as sunny as the name implies. After just a quick chat with them I felt as if I had made new friends.
A true local gem. I'm so grateful it is on my doorstep!
My third visit to sunshine bakery and never fails to be amazing, the staff welcoming to all their customers even the furry four legged ones and are always happy to chat with you, they carry out excellent hand hygiene especially after petting dogs.

Lovely little local bakery with inside seating. So much choice for a great price. The service was impeccable, with friendly smiling faces! Loads of choices of hot and cold sandwiches and the halloumi fries were gorgeous. Great place for a catch up with friends. I will definitely return and tell others.

North Star Coffee Shop is a local coffee shop with delicious roasts of beans from all over the world. Situated next to their roastery, you can try two espressos each as well as one expertly-made filter coffee. There are also loose tea, craft beers and cocktails on offer. A gem in Leeds Dock, North Star will have pancakes for the February 13th day only!
Great little coffee place in Leeds dock. Good coffee and a small menu of breakfast, brunch and excellent cakes. The sausage and egg sandwich was amazing, the cakes were great too. They also sell their own coffee beans. Not the cheapest place but the quality is very good and you get what you pay for!

The vibe was good and the coffee was of a good high quality. The coffee shop also has a mini store area where you can purchase beans, T-shirts and some cool looking tote bags.
The coffee is priced as a normal high quality coffee is nowadays, but the portion sizes are on the smaller size - (I had taken a couple sips out of my glass in the photo provided!).
I tried the last slice of the tiramisu tart, which was a little different! Similar to a treacle tart with some cream on top. This was nice!

I tried two different coffees here, both being made as a long black. They were the Astro house blend and a Mexican sierra Mazateca variety. They were both really nice. The house blend was chocolaty with a slight citrus angle, while the Mexican bean had a more apple and nutty taste. Both different but both very nice.

Lovely coffee shop. I drop by for breakfast as my first stop for the day trip in Leeds. I didnt know what to order, all menu pictures were all tempting but I went for Sweetcorn fritters which was delicious, good blend in those.

The best fried chicken I have EVER had (in England). Four of us dining today for a pre Christmas get together. The food and service overall was second to none. We ordered the Fried Chicken with rice, Bhaji plate with sides of triple cooked chips, focaccia and the Green lettuce in vinaigrette. Everything cooked to perfection and served in good time. Our server was friendly and welcoming, remembering 2 of us that were dining from our last meal there a few weeks ago.
The menu is always interesting with vegetarian and gluten free options.
This little gem of a place is a well worth visit, once you've been it will be one of your regular 'go to' places.
Amazing fried chicken, onion bhaji and focaccia! Also enjoyed a really nice glass of wine, only the fries were a bit disappointing, I’m more of a crispy fry person personally. Very homely atmosphere, almost like you’ve popped to their house and they’ve set up a private table for you.
Went to OWT last Friday and had some of the best fried Chicken I’ve ever had , perfectly seasoned , fresh and succulent this was for starters. I had then opted for the Parmesan burger and this was a delight to the taste buds an amazing Mariana sauce and cheese and also great tasting bun, This was accompanied with a great cocktail . Prices were very good for the quality of ingredients and freshness and the service was also very good . Overall I would highly recommend and I will be definitely be paying another visit soon !
Incredibly thoughtful dishes that are playful and so tasty. The gluten free fried chicken is things dreams are made of… so good they even have it on a roast dinner! My partner always gets the chicken and it even made me break being veggie to try it… no regrets. The grilled cheese is part of Leeds food history. The chickpea fritters are to die for. The careful collection of Gasqui wines are paired with such thought to each meal. Behind the food, Esther and James are the heart behind the menu. Esther is such a fabulous, friendly and funny host, she is extremely attentive in a relaxed and un fussy way. On my partner’s birthday she even put a candle on a gravy boat. Fantastic food for a very reasonable price! We have been going to OWT since they started in the market, we followed them to the corn exchange and then now Burley Road. Don’t sleep on OWT! You’ll leave full and happy.

It’s a small restaurant in the Corn Exchange, a beautiful space with a short but frequently changing menu. I took my daughter & goddaughter there today during a shopping trip. I think between us we had most things on the menu.
The fried chicken and triple cooked chips I had were very good, their dill pickles were the best I’ve had in the UK & the plain green salad was the best I’ve had outside of France.
Service was friendly, engaging and efficient, food and drinks arrived in good time.
I highly recommend this place & can’t wait to come back.
Lovely little place tucked into the Corn Exchange. Not a lot of seats and some of the two tops were quite cozy, but it still felt spacious and light.
Small menu but everything looked tasty. I went for the grilled cheese and only wish I'd been hungry enough to get the chips too because those looked amazing as they paraded past to other tables.

Decent little cafe, the gelato was definitely the highlight. Wide variety of flavours, ( matcha and pecan maple were the best imao) . Lunch was decent and had great portions. Just had to write a review after my visit to The Milk Churn in Leeds today (13th May). I heard great things from friends and it absolutely lived up to the hype!
The Ice Cream/ Gelato: 5/5 stars. Absolutely delicious! I went for the Ricotta and Fig flavor and it was incredible. So creamy and flavorful. We only had ice cream this time, but next time I'll definitely try some of their other offerings.
Service: 4/5 stars. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Just a heads up from my visit, though - you get a bigger portion if you don't get served by the owner! and for the price i expect bigger.
Atmosphere: 4/5 stars. The cafe itself is nice and cozy. They have a nice outdoor seating area that looked perfect for a sunny day.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Milk Churn. easy parking, Super delicious ice cream and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and explore the rest of the menu. Especially since it's so close to home!
I love ice cream, and when I say I love ice cream, I've been lucky enough to try it all over the world including Italy. Let me tell you, if I could give this ice cream 7 stars I would, this is in the top 2 ice creams I've ever eaten. The texture, the flavour and the options regarding the way it is served are amazing.

First the gelato is delicious. So intense and incredible flavors. I had chocolate, ricotta and fig, and cookies and cream. The servers Shauna and Callagan were wonderful and explained the farm and the business. They are opened in winter 11 to 4p. I wish later for dessert expect you can take it to go earlier for your freezer! We enjoyed the ice cream and took a scone and brownie to go!
Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp.

We have been coming to the milk churn for years now. Both my daughter and I are coeliac. Every time we come in we explain and the staff are usually very accommodating getting a new clean scoop and clean water etc. so the staff must have had some kind of allergen training This time when we visited on Saturday, half way down the tub of ice cream there was several chunks of ice cream cone mixed in with the ice cream, but I didn't notice until I was chewing on it. 5 days later I'm still incredibly ill. We won't be returning. It is a very easy avoidable cross contamination. Please teach your staff better as coeliac disease is a very nasty auto immune disease

Went here for lunchtime, the menu is ok, can be better. Mostly pork or chicken, there were other ramen that I would've tried, but it was plant based, unfortunately. The lack of beef dishes was a bit disappointing, and the gyoza's arrived earlier than the main food, we waited for the ramen but came too late so we just went ahead and ate the gyoza otherwise they'd go cold. The original fu ramen was a bit too rich and creamy slightly made me feel sick, so I stopped eating it. Don't get me wrong. The dish is nice but not for me.
Had a lovely meal at House of Fu this afternoon. My partner has some food allergies and the staff made him feel really reassured and informed which meant we could both enjoy our food worry free! It was delicious, the atmosphere was really relaxed, and the staff were lovely! Will definitely dine there again.

My fav restaurant when I was in Leeds. My go-to was the Original Fu Ramen with added kimchi—as good as the best ramen places I’ve been to in NYC and Japan. The Fu Katsu is also absolutely delicious.
Edit: Had the privilege of coming back after a few months and taste new dishes. Highly recommend the shoyu chicken ramen and the kimchi & cheese ramen! Keep being fabulous, House of Fu!

Staff weren’t particularly friendly and even when the restaurant was closing after lunch, staff were no where to be seen and we were left with empty plates on our table until we finally were able to collar someone to bring us the bill. Our experience eating out with the kids turned into a complete disaster.
We placed our order carefully, ensuring every detail was clear. Then, we waited. After some time, two milkshakes arrived. We waited again, and eventually, the waffles were served—but despite ordering two different kinds, we received the same type. We chose not to say anything and continued waiting. Then, coffee arrived, but without the milk we had requested.
A hot chocolate coffee we had ordered never came at all.
We had repeatedly asked the staff—four to five times—to serve everything together so we could enjoy our meal as a family. Yet, our request was completely ignored. No apology was given.
Even other customers around us could see the poor service and supported us.
I am generally a calm person, and those who know me can vouch for that. But this experience made me so frustrated that even my kids were shocked.
Never again.
To top it off, the food wasn’t even that tasty. Definitely not worth it.
We bought 3 cookie dough with ice cream, and my youngest child found a piece of blue rubber glove in his ice cream, we tried ringing the shop for over 10 minutes, and no one answered. In the end, we had to drive down to sort the issue out. I definitely agree with some of the other reviews here that the staff definitely need to demonstrate more professionalism. Definitely won't be returning there again.
Ordered a flooda and it was dry, standards have droppped massively, gave it back immediately with not apology in return. Atmosphere seems great in person which is what intrigued me to order. However, the food arrived 15 minutes after my time slot not to mention the fact they had said it was delivered already when the guy wasnt even on my street. The cookie dough was burnt, the ice cream tasted weird and the milkshake kept seperating into different layers even though it was supposedly fresh. My partner said that the sauce on the wings wasnt even sauce and it tasted weird, the burger was completely dry but the bread soggy due to the amount of sauce on it. As well as this, the lettuce tasted off and the chips were barely cooked and bland even when using the mayo.
Their AI advert sounds horrible, they could've used a real person and it'd have been way more inviting
Berry's has quickly become one of our favourite local pizza takeaways. It's a shame they no longer deliver to Pool but I'll happily still drive to collect. Food is always great and ready on time. We tried their deserts for the first time last week and they didn't disappoint either.

We’ve visited a couple of times after a friend close to Garforth recommended the place. It gets very busy at the weekend so I recommend coming midweek or getting here early!
It’s a sweet little shop in an unsuspecting area, next to the leisure centre. There are a big range of treats on offer with savoury and sweet pastries, and lots of gorgeous cakes and tarts. At Easter there were lots of eggs on sale too. You can buy a lot of the good stuff from the counter: the first time we went I ordered a mini chocolate mousse cake and it was absolutely to die for. Melt in the mouth and the silkiest creamiest mousse.
It was so good I ordered a birthday cake for my husband. This was the “origine” cake which is layers of dark and milk chocolate cake and mousse. We were blown away by this - it was rich and creamy and more like a dessert than a cake. It went down extremely well. I ordered a medium which was about 6-8 portions; it’s very rich so you don’t need big slices. I think this will be a new go-to for birthdays for us, we couldn’t get enough of it and the ordering process was simple and easy. It was such a wonderful treat to be able to order such a high quality cake here in Leeds and was worth the 25 minute drive from the other side of the ring road. Actually, for that cake I think I would happily walk over hot coals the whole way just to get another slice. Beautifully presented and made with f great care.
They also run cookery school sessions if you get a group together, which is something we might try in the future. Can’t wait to come back.

My first time today at this gem. I sampled some of the patisserie which were all light, not overly sweet and delicious. Thierry the owner is welcoming and comes across well. I will definetly be back to sample more delights. It was well worth the 30 mile drive this morning.
Probably the best patisserie in Yorkshire at the very least. Absolutely incredible selection of wonderful treats from trays of small sandwich platters through to some of the most wonderful desserts you have ever seen or eaten.
My partner and I have visited twice in the last month, and each time have been bowled over by the quality of Thierry’s breads and pastries. For context, we live two hours away: our first visit was for a birthday treat and the second was because….the pastries are worth the two hour drive! :)
The almond pain au chocolat is INCREDIBLE and I would also highly recommend the little cake covered in chocolate as the mousse inside is just insanely good. The sponges are beautifully light and nothing is too sweet so flavours are perfectly balanced. The breads are full of flavour and highly recommended!
I also purchased some of the chocolate drops to bake with and have yet to do so, but a quick nibble test confirmed the high quality.
The best patisserie I’ve found outside France itself! Thierry is so lovely and very passionate about his produce, which is lovely to see. We will be back!

Went to Amorino for the first time today and tried the vegan shakes, they were delicious we had a lemon and mango and the other was a lemon and strawberry. They are super thick too, can't wait to go back and try the other flavours!
Got a small cone and was able to choose 5 flavours, very good value! The portion was generous and every flavour was delicious. You can also request to try them before making decisions on which one to get. Great mix of options, from classics to more seasonal and unique ones. Perfect treat!

Today I’m order ice cream, chocolate and caramel. I wanted to let you know and to please check the camera in the shop. When one of your staff was scooping the ice cream into the cone he kept talking, for example “I can’t do it” and “it looks so bad” and he kept doing it. He asked his coworker what he should do and he kept talking and as he spoke he was inadvertently spitting into the ice cream because the ice cream was under his month and he kept talking. Darling 3-4 min for waiting a lot of spitting in the ice cream ,I paid for the ice cream and took it but I binned it. Thank you
I got an ice cream but not a Gelato, the texture and the tase was far away from being a gelato.

2 staff members, 1 new who was nice and did a good job of making the rose shape, despite being new. The other was quite unfriendly & unhelpful, she didn't explain how things worked at all. It's such a bizarre concept - you have to choose what size/type of ice cream you want & pay first, THEN you take your printed ticket to prove payment & choose your flavours. We weren't told we could pick as many as we liked. I chose coconut & mango - the coconut was super grainy - sure that's natural but it can be smoothed out. It was a warm day but the whole thing was melting the second I was given it. And you're only allowed to try flavours AFTER purchasing - so silly. Buy before you try, rather than try before you buy. Not worth it for £6.

Food came cold, dont know how since it was clearly over microwaved as my crepe was near enough a plastic consistency. Ordered waffle bites and a kinder milk cake. The milk cake was small compared to others we've gotten and did not taste pleasant. The waffles were very burnt and crunchy and hard to the point that it was difficult to put my fork through them. I had to just throw it away as it was literally inedible. It's shocking that Ice Boujee thought it'd be ok to serve burnt food like that to customers.

The shop is local and neighbourly and it is independently owned and managed and this is so very good. You can feel the personal passion and desire to offer a food product and service.

Tried a few brownies and bits from here and from a pop up. Super yummy. Very sweet of course, I think some of the brownies could take a touch more salt to balance the sweetness, but that’s just my personal preference. Snickers brookie is my favourite so far. The cookie slice tasted a little bit bicarby, will have to try another one to re-review. The Oreo cookie pie OH MY what a thing. I was taken out in two bites. Incredibly dense but absolutely delicious, I want to try them all!! The coffee is not my favourite, maybe it’s the oat milk they use, not sure. Will definitely keep coming here.

The outside seating area was really busy with folks enjoying the summer.
I sat inside and the bar and was impressed with the selection of beers they have on tap - 20 available on keg and 2 cask when I visited.
I was warmly greeted by Beth, who was very knowledgeable about the beer on offer, and enjoyed chatting to her during my visit.
Don’t miss their beer fridge, tucked away in the corner, for a takeaway treat.

Atmosphere was ok, but as it was a Friday night it was busy and difficult to judge. I'm told it would be much more to my taste at quieter times so will be happy to go again to assess this.
This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with bright colours across the interior! Balloons and stylish frames add to the environment, counter is stylish. I enjoyed one of their ciders at comfortable seating, sat by a clean table!

This place has the potential to be so good but the customer service is the worst I’ve come across, very bad communication. If you ring the bell to speak to staff they ignore you. Set false expectations when you order, food will be ready in 10 mins. Usually takes about an hour in reality. Staff look like they can’t be bothered and don’t want to be there. Busy as hell, too many delivery drivers walking in and out, you could barely stand in one place, staff didn’t understand the order and gave us the wrong items. Dukes 4-5 years ago was pretty decent, but the moment they have expanded with their delivery services, over time, their level of quality and customer service has gone down.
At least we now know to avoid. Plenty of far better donut shops in Leeds.
My advice is, create a separate booth or area for delivery drivers, not to interfere with customers who are coming in, otherwise this will create chaos.

The donuts, now if you’ve ever been to Asda and bought donuts from there and put ur own little twist you get dukes little confused thing. Could identify as trans after this.honestly ive never been to a more confused place. I had to talk to one person for one thing and another for another thing. not that hard to get what you want. Called in here and ordered soup, it was the tastiest soup I have had in a long time, really enjoyed it. Bit pricey but we felt OK with this as a charity. Clean facilities and lovely building. I have been here once before for a training event which was held in a separate room. Although small it was perfect for the occasion and with food on site made lunch effortless. Parking an issue as centre of Leeds but otherwise a really useful space. I will call into the cafe again as we visit the church next door which is a very historic building and worth a look round.
Nice and quiet, seems to attract a senior crowd mostly. The outside of the cafe looks better that the inside, which has more of a dinner vibe with plastic chairs and tables. Good coffee and the food, quick service and everything is prepared fresh.
What a lovely hidden gem. A Decent omelette although would have liked it cooked a little bit more! Nice tea but it does tend to get stewed fast in those pots. It's a nice building, there are flowers on most tables. The food is good but a little expensive for what it is.
We went for afternoon tea using a voucher. Full price would have been £22.95 but we paid £12 which was good value provided you don't want coffee. That pushed the price up to £15.40; this is the only place I've come across which charges extra for coffee.
The tea itself was fine apart from the lack of jam on one of the scones & either the yorkshire rarebit lacked ham or it was a welsh rarebit.
The Arch is a great place to meet and have lunch. The food is good, there are veggie options, a good menu and plenty of seating. The staff are pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly. It's my goto when I'm coming into Leeds to meet a friend.

When I say this is the best hot chocolate you can have, I mean it. I tried the 70% dark ice chocolate and it was lush, the staff were lovely and got some boxes to take as gifts too. 100% hot chocolate was beautifully bitter and delicious. Cinnamon Bun was huge and looked amazing. Sadly it was a bit on the dry side and consequently lacking in flavour, so had to dip in the chocolate to compensate.

The mocha wasn’t the best and we had 3 small drinks in total I basically think it’s a dupe of hotel chocolate and more expensive. The best was the 36% one but it’s £6.55 so I’d walk a bit further down the street or get a boba 🧋.

Excellent, friendly, and informative service today. My 43% orange hot chocolate was simply divine! The server recommended another drink that orange works perfectly well in, I will definitely be trying that on my next visit. Thank you for really brightening my day!

The staff were nice and the displays are very appealing. But the signage was difficult to read for the descriptions.
I had the pistachio croissant which was really quite disappointing, the pastry was dry and the filling was like thickened liquidy green almond custard. I was expecting a pistachio flavoured creme.

Pistachio croissant, very sweet and the pastry was warming. The white chocolate thingy is good. The pizza was so bad, probably because we were given the edge of the pizza. The service was unpleasant, people didn't want to sell, but they did want us to leave quickly. Although it feels like the atmosphere of Italy. Overall, not worth your attention
Poco have been on my radar for a really long time so it was nice to finally visit.
Fantastically tempting window displays meant it was hard to choose, the prices meant trying a selection wasn't really an option. I settled on the the truffle cream arancino that was warmed for me by a friendly member of staff.
I was impressed with the intense flavours, the rice element was cooked well and the outer nice and crisp but the amount of filling felt miserly for £4.
It's a 5* for taste and service and a 3* for value so I'll average it out here.
I walked past poco looking for a hot chocolate, Jess served me and encouraged me to try the Italian hot chocolate. I told her my intolerances and she informed me that she could make it with oat milk. It was the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Would come back
Best slice of pizza i have ever had from here in england. I always come back whenever im in town. Wish they had stores in other cities. Good staff and food is always fresh.
Not a pleasant chicken Panini, very dry chicken and hardly any fillings! after heating it up the lettuce gone all disgusting! Had a donut too, it was ok but £8.95 for these is way too overpriced! Cant tell much about the atmosphere because it s a kiosk.

Cb'z Desserts is praised for its superb food and service. The staff is courteous and the food is delightful. Ordering from them never disappoints. The entire family enjoys it, as well as an obsessed cousin. They recommend trying the doughnuts, with the white chocolate sauce and white flakes being a favorite choice.
Very impressed. My husband and I ordered a lot of desserts, their customer service was exceptional. Some were out of stock so they kindly gave us some additional desserts and even upgraded a few at no extra price.
The desserts themselves were perfect. I have been trying to find a good desserts place for over a year and Cbz have delivered. I am a huge cookie dough fan and tried so many different ones around Leeds, but this one was perfect. The other desserts were amazing too, they had freshly made doughnuts which is rare for a desserts company to do, and the waffle was made perfectly.
Highly recommend for those reading to give them a try, it’s worth it.

This place is mint , the food is beautiful, you can really see the effort they put in to making these.

Very impressive desserts and quality overall. First time I ordered for me and the family and it was a totally awesome experience. Will definitely be ordering on a regular basis, hands down the best one I've tried in a long time. The fresh donuts were delicious and still so warm. This place isn't shy off adding topping either unlike other places so definitely value for money.
We was gifted a tray of the most beautiful looking and tastiest doughnuts by a customer at work as a thank you gift. All the staff had one and we managed to sneak one for the kids too. I will definitely be ordering from you in the future. We've had doughnuts from other places that was so bad, we refused to waste money on them again but these were absolutely divine.
This shop is the best some delicious dounts i recommend it best brownie trays aswel.

The vibrant decor mirrors the colorful array of donuts on display, making it hard to resist grabbing one (or more) to go in their charming pink and green boxes. On busy Sundays, you’ll find eager patrons lining up outside, eager to indulge in these delightful treats.
Lovely fresh and tasty food. The donuts are beautiful, soft and delicious. I've tried the burgers and pizza too, both best in town by far. It's my regular take out place now.

Improvement is needed on of their burger/bun combinations, but nonetheless, nice clean place, plenty of variety and fast customer service. I ordered the classic smashed burger and that included fries, no drink. When it comes to taste it was missing something that you are accustomed to with smashed burgers. The flavour of the beef was there but the sauce and bun was a let down, this type of bread didn't combine well with the beef and rest of the items. Fries were crispy and fresh.
Pepperoni pizza was really bad I regretted buying it. You need more salt or herbs on your pizza sauce cause mine was pretty tasteless, and the pepperoni tasted bad. I have been there before and pizza was ok but after this probably won't come back any time soon when there are better pizzas next door which I should have gone to in hindsight. Service was very good and always has been. Not tried anything else other than pizza so my review doesn't represent burgers, parmesan chicken etc.

Fantastic atmosphere.All the staff where friendly and welcoming.I ordered a donner kebab inside pita bread. The donner kebab was excellcent and i would highly recommend it.They also gave me complementary tea which was excellent and the tea was the right tempreature. Overall this place is fantastic and i would definitely come again. Another postive about the shop. It is super clean and they maintain good hygeine standards.

Northern Bloc is a Leeds-based ice cream company that has quickly become a household name for its delicious and unique flavours. They source their ice cream from some of the city's favourite places, so it's worth popping in when you see them! All of their flavours are mouth-watering, but if you're vegan then be sure to try the OMG MOUTH WATERING vegan chocolate stracciatella.
Special thanks to Sarah from HR who kept my partner's bike safe after an accident. I will buy/recommend some products as your staff are so kind....I think I had something at the grand theatre once. Gracias

I tried the vegan sorbet in Hastings at a new ice cream parlour that stocks this one brand. It was so sweet I literally gagged and threw it away. The main ingredients are listed as sugar, glucose syrup i.e. more sugar and water. In a fruit sorbet one might expect the main ingredient to be fruit and one I had yesterday from a different outlet contained one third.

I’m allergic to dairy so I’m always on the hunt to find a dessert I can actually eat, I’ve found with vegan ice creams they tend to lack taste and just melt very quickly. I brought mine from a Co-Op in Oxford.
LOVE the fact you actually taste the peanut butter, LOVE the fact there are so many choc chips and I LOVE the creamy texture. It is on the slightly more expensive side so it’s not a regular purchase, but I can’t wait to try more flavours!🤤
This uce crean styles itself as something different. In my experience although not too bad, it was quite ordinary for a premium priced product. I paid £3.95 for a single cone and £4.50 for a 2 scoop cone at the National Trust shop.
It was not as creamy as other premium icecreams.
I had clotted cream and honeycomb and salted caramel.
Best mint chocolate ice cream I’ve had. Texture is perfection and I don’t even miss the dairy. Will definitely be trying the other flavours with excitement.
Had the ice-cream from the cafe at Castle Howard ,it is the best ice-cream I have ever tasted. What a find !!
We've been experimenting with vegan ice-creams over the past year or so but are now firmly committed to Northern Bloc, particularly the Chocolate Mint Biscuit and Salted Caramel and Almond Swirl - both totally delicious and undistinguishable from dairy based products. The Chocolate & Orange Blossom is also good, the orange is very subtle and it's a lot firmer than the previous two. The peanut one wasn't so popular, not awful, but not lovely.
