Sarah's Creative Chocolate Kitchen is a unique eatery and chocolate shop located in Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea. It offers a variety of baked goods, savory options, and ice cream for visitors to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The shop is known for its famous chocolates made on-site, where chocolate-making classes are also conducted. Additionally, Sarah hosts chocolate making workshops and events throughout the year.
I've been an online customer of Sarahs for a few years now and after enjoying her products so much, I decided to take the trip from Bristol to visit. We had the most gorgeous lunch with desserts and the following day had afternoon tea and chocolate making. Everything was so reasonably priced. I've known of chocolate making workshops in Bristol for around £50pp. We paid £34.50pp for a gorgeous afternoon tea and chocolate making which meant we got to bring home 12 chocolate disks each. The afternoon tea was MASSIVE. We are big eaters but we couldn't at all finished it so had to bring stuff home. Everything was gorgeous! I always say an afternoon tea needs crisps, Sarah is the only one I know to provide crisps!! There is such a great mix between savory and sweet too. We got a apron & hair net to make the chocolate which really added to the whole experience. Standard food menu is great, plenty if veggie options too! The desserts really are a work of art. The atmosphere is lovely and every staff member I met were so so nice, it almost felt like I knew them all for years. Was lovely to finally meet Sarah, she is just as she is on social media, what you see is what you get and that I love. Sarah and her family even took time out of her evening to have a meal and watch the fireworks on the beach with me and my partner - I don't know another business owner that would do that, she really goes above and beyond for her customers who practically become friends 😊. Had the most amazing experience, I will definitely be back in future. Gutted I don't live local, I'd be a regular cafe visitor! 💜💜. I wish I could give more than 5*

Had a Fantastic time at a Valentines Chocolate workshop. It was so much fun. We had plenty of chocolate amd toppings. All the staff were so lovely and very kind. We even a sneak peak at where the magic happens in the back workshop. We had lunch too which taste delicious. I will defo be booking again.
Katie T — Google review
We booked the children’s afternoon tea and chocolate decorating for this afternoon. The cafe is very nice looking from the outside and there’s plenty of on street parking right out front. The staff are all lovely and great with the children. My two really enjoyed decorating the chocolate discs. Their afternoon tea was very nicely presented, with everything being made fresh. The whole experience though, whilst entertaining and unique, was certainly not worth almost £30 per child. Had this been priced more reasonably, this would be an easy 5 stars. The items on the main menu were much more sensibly priced though and I would still recommend a visit
Kevin K — Google review
What a lovely little cafe! Took my daughter in here for something to eat and the food was delicious and lovely presentation. The atmosphere is warm and cosy and very clean. The staff were lovely and welcoming and overall I think this place is a gem. I will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone.

We (6) had a lovely afternoon tea and chocolate workshop here for my birthday today. Sarah and her team looked after us very well. Making the chocolates was fun and well organised. Thank you ladies 😊
Claire C — Google review
I've been treating myself to chocolate goodies from here for years now and they are absolutely delicious. Yesterday I came for a hen do and we did chocolate making and had afternoon tea - although the grazing boards looked AMAZING and I immediately regretted not ordering that. Sarah and the team went above and beyond and created such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and we had exclusive use of the shop. I would 100% recommend for others to hold their special events here, team building etc and will definitely be back. Thank you again.
Natasha D — Google review
We booked a chocolate making Birthday party for my daughter. The communication with Sarah was excellent from start to finish. All the girls loved it and came out laden with heavy bags of chocolate bars, lollies and giant buttons that they had decorated. They also had their pre-ordered food which was great. Great value party, minimal stress for parent's to organise, and nice and restful for us parents out the front. We had a reserved seating area so no issues there. Parking out front is limited but not too problematic. Friendly staff and the chocolate tasted divine! Recommend.
Sally D — Google review
My only experience is of Sarah’s postal shop (one day I’ll make it to the physical shop!) and I can honestly say her bakes are AMAZING! I’ve attached a picture of her Chocolate orange millionaires, which I ordered along with some topped cookies a few days ago. Sarah clearly works hard on flavours and tastes; I’ve never had anything from her that has just been ‘ok’ - the quality, taste and texture of everything I’ve tried has been first class. I’d highly recommend ordering from her online shop… one thing better than sweet treats is sweet treats delivered to your door!

A lovely experience. Friendly and helpful staff interacting with our 3 year old daughter which was a lovely touch. A wide range of flavours and three very happy people. Looks like it can get very busy at times (not surprisingly being so delicious) so be prepared to wait.

Fair prices and fair portions, a lot of ice cream choices and when when you get one you can't stop coming back. Way better then rossi's and even though there is only 22 reviews at the time of posting this review, this is a very immaculate tasting family-run ice cream parlour.

Great sweet treats and coffee - it’s always so difficult to make a decision because they all look so amazing! Some great vegan options, too. The place is beautifully decorated and has a few tables inside and out. Staff are lovely and friendly. I had a bueno stuffed cookie which was delicious and huge!, and the coffee is of really nice quality. Such a gem for a sweet tooth, I always want to buy the whole counter.

Katie — Google review
Popped in to treat ourselves to some tasty desserts after finding this place on Instagram. The cafe itself was beautiful! Cute seating and wall decor and a lovely floral ceiling which was very pretty. The choice of desserts was very generous, and we took a fair while to decide! We opted for a Smarties pie and a Jam & Cream Blondie. Both were delicious, not too sweet or sickly, and we’d definitely return again to try something new next time we’re in the area.
Emily K — Google review
We ordered our wedding cake from Wilma's and were absolutely over the moon with it, everything we asked for is what we got, the communication was great, nothing was too much trouble and Gemma made sure every detail was as we wanted. The cake really did look and taste incredible, we had so many compliments from our guests about it. Thank you so much for making our wedding cake just perfect for us and we can highly recommend Wilma's to anyone else who is looking for a fabulous cake!

Sensational cakes!!! You simply have to visit this gem of a place in the heart of Leigh. The choice and quality of the cakes is amazing. Staff very friendly. Spotlessly clean. Take a look!
Geoff G — Google review
A review from the heart for one of the loveliest businesses I've had the pleasure of working with! I ordered the tall vegan lotus/biscoff gold cake for my wedding day and it was PHENOMENAL! I also ordered the vegan brownies which were so delicious I nearly ate them all myself. Support small businesses, because the care, attention to detail and love that is poured into the work is what makes everything so special! Without going into a long story, things were quite comically going wrong before my wedding day. It was the day before and I was picking up my cake, but due to an overseas order error it wasn't in the shop for pick-up. Here comes the best part, the ladies working at the shop were on the phone helping me to figure it out. Before I knew it I was where the magic happens (the big kitchen) and meeting Will and Gemma. They not only had my stunning cake ready to go, they spent time to chat to me and reassure me that "things go wrong in the dress rehearsal, so everything can go right on the day". I will never forget their kindness and will remember the delicious cake and brownies forever!

I highly recommend the most delicious ice cream in Essex! A really nice stop on the seafront, located near the Casino. We had a couple of coffees & cakes which were ok the selection of cakes were a real treat. Love the Halloween skeletons outside too. Lots of sugary treats for a long seafront walk afterwards Very clean and professional looking. Good staff.
Dave R — Google review
Overpriced and lacking in quality. 3 scoops of chocolate gelato with a tablespoon of biscoff sauce @ £7.50. Weak in flavour, not at all thick enough consistency and seemed to be strongly composed of ice as in water, distinctly lacking in cream. You can buy equivalent or better in Iceland. The young lady serving was nice and affable however the older staff (presumably owners) shuffled around as if the place was under siege and they were battening down the hatches when I merely asked what was the young lady's recommendation between the two chocolate flavours. A lot of these positive views are from people who do not have a clue of what they are talking about, as is sadly, often the case with the passage of time. Not in Southend however try "Amorino Gelato" if you get the chance for a comparison and see, rather taste, for yourselves, the difference. P.S. It seems what "you believe" and what the reality is are clearly two entirely different things. Your response about how gelato is made is all would-be patrons need to know. Not just about your lack of knowledge but your lack of character. I had the chocolato cioccolato, nothing there to highlight it is vegan whatsoever. I had a caramel sundae previously and that was also overpriced/lacking compared to the biscoff sundae at another popular location opposite Adventure Island. Please credit yourself in your responses by name if you stand by your words!
Martin W — Google review
My daughter and I ordered two large cups with 3 scoops each! Delicious! We also got a slush and two cokes, came to just over £20 Not a problem it was worth it. Sat in the car and once we finished my Autsitic daughter decided she now wanted an ice cream 3 scoopes one Nutella, biscoff the third scoop she wanted the cherry! She asked if she could have the 3rd in a small separate cup as she couldn't stand the cherry touching the other two! The guy who served us before was cool with it! It would of cost £7 however, a girl behind him stated we'd have to pay for the 1 scoop as a separate ice cream so charged us £10! I explained my daughter was Autistic and she didn't care! So we paid for 3 scoop cup and the 1 scoop! Her attitude was honestly disgusting! My 14 year old kept apologising as she felt like she'd done something wrong the girl completely ignored her! The way she handled it was cold and uncomfortably cruel! Won't be going there again. Not Autistic friendly! We visited 26/04/2025.

Luxury Ice Cream, great for a treat! They give big portions as well. A lovely lady served us today and we have been there several times and have received friendly service every time. They have great vegan options for me and a variety of dairy options for my husband. We have recommended Roberto's to many friends and family and they have reported back to us about how they enjoyed their ice-cream there too! Cannot recommend it enough!

I was really looking forward to trying the cola float here, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. It had very little flavor, looked quite unappealing, and unfortunately didn’t live up to the price either. I brought it to the staff’s attention, but was told that’s just how they’re made. I appreciate the response, but for the cost, I expected something much better in both taste and presentation. Definitely not what I was hoping for.

Just nice to go to a place where you can get a big '99' ice cream like in the old days! Plenty of flavours on offer even if I didn't try them. Nice atmosphere, would come back again ✨

We had breakfast. One full breakfast, a sausage and mushroom omelette, scrambled eggs and beans on toast. All were a very generous portion and were cooked to perfection. There was a slight mix up when the new staff didn’t know how to make the milkshakes but no drama, she was learning. Lovely service and a great location. I was surprised at the good value for money too.

It’s a nice spot right much sea front where it’s not crazy busy if u go on a quiet day and it’s away form the main Southend sea front justlr and bustle. But close enough that a small walk away everything is accessible. The ice cream options were good and tasted amazing. We tried the rainbow cake and it was baked to perfection. Took a coffee and went down for a stroll. Parking right in front of the store and sea views are spectacular. They also have yummy home made ice cream tubs that u can take home 😋

A visit to Rossi Ice Cream is always a pleasure – both for the taste buds and the warm service.

A well known ice cream parkour. The place to visit. If you love ice cream. Even on the coldest days. Also if you are at the seaside fish and chips. Value for money

Really great ice cream and the customer service is 10/10. We where served by a sweet young man called Jacob who kindly got us bigger bowls for our ice cream as my partner gets the shakes and finds it easier to eat out of a larger bowl. He got us both bowls ehich felt more inclusive and wrapped up bigger spoons too in napkins. It's the small gestures that matter sometimes and they can be overlooked. We really appreciated his thoughtful nature and will be loyal customers on our days out. Thank you Jacob keep spreading your kindness 😊🌞🍦😋

For years I have regularly stopped at your cafe on western esplanade for a coffee. These last few months however, coffee has been and continues to be served in plastic take-away cups with the explanation that the usual glass cups were exploding in the dish-washer and that they were awaiting replacements. The cost of a coffee is £2.80 for a glass cup. The take-away cups hold considerably less coffee yet customers are still charged the same price of £2.80. In addition, most of the regular staff seem to have left and been replaced by staff who couldn't care less, do not know how to make a white coffee properly - very often I have had to complain that the coffee was not hot enough - and received the same response of "thats how it comes". How much longer is it going to be before you replace glass cups instead of horrible take-away cups or if this cannot be done I suggest you reduce your price for a cup of coffe and stop over-charging customers?

Probably one of the best cone ice creams like the good old day. Comes in 3 sizes. A little pricey but the amount you get is worth it. Plus its not like you are buying it everyday! Definitely worth stopping over for and enjoy good quality ice cream. Parking is expensive but that is what beach front prices are. Just live a little ;)

Patisserie Valerie, based in Southend, is a long-standing chain serving coffee and light meals. They include a variety of pastries and cakes that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. In addition to their main premises, they also have a café located just outside the station. This café is dog friendly and perfect for a quick break before your next journey.
The cakes and the cappuccino are very tasty . The English tea is also great. The employees are also very friendly. Plenty of seating available (on 2 floors). There is a large selection of cakes and drinks! Friendly employees. Big recommendation.

We had the afternoon tea for two, it was delicious, the service was fast and attentive. Would definitely recommend! They asked about allergies and dietary requirements too before ordering which helps for those with restrictions.

I have visited this shop on a few different occasions and at a different times and staff have gone over and beyond making us feel welcomed as well as meeting our needs especially Ana Maria. The coffee's are amazing and they even ask about allergies when we ordered food. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you to all and we will be back!

Fresh light cake slice enjoyed with tea pot. High end tea place, loved the table service but I wish we could sit upstairs by the windows to look outside. Definitely recommended!

Went to lunch eat with my husband in Southend.we ordered peppermint tea and english breakfast tea and the server gave us 2 coffee which we said we did not order coffee and then made the drinks we ordered. When she served our foods she asked if we want sauces and I said tomato catsup and mayonnaise please. And she never went back to give the sauces!! What a poor service it was!!! Not even once to come back and ask if we are ok or if we need anything. She never came back and even when we asked for our bill it was another lady who attended to us.She was on her phone and talking to the guy(barista) most of the time.

Very expensive and overrated. They charged 25 pounds for just a box of 12 macrons and a small piece of red-velvet cake. Both macrons and cake were of poor quality. Macrons had small breakages too.

I have to say the staff are lovely. Proper customer service, which makes the whole experience so much nicer. We went today. Being a Saturday was very busy but we were made welcome and they found us a seat. We ordered via waitress & our drinks didn't take to long to arrive. And we had our food followed shortly after. The chef came down into the cafe and he was spotless very clean. The whole place is clean. We do recommend this lovely cafe because the atmosphere is nice & as I said the staff remember you & greet you with a smile. Great experience

Creperie
Pancake restaurant
Lemon Witch, situated on Leigh Broadway in Southend-on-Sea, is a charming spot known for hosting biscuit decorating events for kids. While the little ones are entertained, parents can savor their coffee and indulge in delicious crepes and children's afternoon tea. Despite limited space, the accommodating staff will help accommodate strollers and provide highchairs. The kitchen specializes in an array of sweet and savory crepes with tempting topping options.
Very extensive menu of pancakes, galettes, and waffles. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I had the New Yorker (closest dosh in the photo), and my wife had the Vegan Brunch. Both highly recommended.
Luke B — Google review
If you want pancakes in Leigh-on-Sea then this is by far the best place to go! They have an impressively large menu covering American Panckaes, Crepes, Galettes, Waffles, shakes, and more. They do savory and sweet options. Many of the options can be made vegan and these are all marked clearly on the menu. I went for the sweet Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream. The pancakes were fluffly and delicious, the crumbles was nice and crunchy, the ice cream added a lightness to the pancakes. I also had a peanut butter soy milkshake which was lighter than expected and was a great, cooling choice for the hot day. Would recommend Lemon Witch if you're in Leigh-on-Sea and looking for some plant-based/vegan pancakes.
Danny S — Google review
Lemon Witch was an incredible experience. The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Lemon Witch has a lot of choices for dietary needs like Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Vegan. The food was absolutely delicious. The pricing was very reasonable and they even have some fun merchandise options such as stickers, pins, tote bags and t-shirts. I would highly recommend giving them a visit.

Lots of vegan options here. It was a nice place, relaxed atmosphere and quite busy but the service was good and the food was enjoyable. I had the Jolly Green Giant vegan option and a freak shake and both were great. My partner enjoyed his California pancakes too.

I recently visited this fantastic pancake place & I must say, I was blown away by their vast menu & great vegan offerings. The variety of pancakes they offer is impressive. The vegan options were plentiful & delicious. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting & the service was friendly & attentive. I highly recommend this pancake place to anyone looking for a delicious dining experience.

A lovely place for breakfast or lunch. Lovely staff, always kind. They are very understanding of allergies and my son, who has many allergies, really enjoys the pancakes. We are very grateful to them. We've always had great food there and my eldest really enjoys the biscuit decorating too. Definitely recommend them.

Bakery
Although this is not an official endorsement, our organization recently sought out a local bakery near a remote venue for breakfast treats. The assistance and service we received were excellent, and the quality of the food matched it. The bakery promptly delivered to the remote location as promised and maintained communication leading up to the event, accommodating changes in our order. Overall, their service was exceptional. Unfortunately, due to being busy at the event, we only had the chance to sample three items instead of indulging further.
My Mum was absolutely delighted with her wedding cake! The fruit cake was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Karen was super responsive to all of my emails, sourced the artifical flowers on my behalf, and the lovely ladies in the Eastwood shop even carried it to the car for me! Thank you to the whole team - great product and service 😊

I genuinely don’t understand how they’re employed. We walked into the shop packed full with customers, and there lie 5 teenage employees looked as though of the age 17-18 serving them. There was a lack of structure and control and so unaware that it was our turn - we heard a low distant call -“who’s next?” We squeezed through bundle of people and finally arrived face to face - with a girl. We told her what we wanted, something with raisins. Directly infront of us stood a pastry, staring at us in the eyes - and yet she replied with an egotistical tone: “we don’t have any”. Are we deadass 🥀. How incompetent do you have to be; we asked her a second time to look in the back - offering her a second chance to redeem herself - she failed miserably. Frustrated i pointed a finger at the pastry i craved - “sorry about that”.
Paul D — Google review
I have been going many years but this morning I was very disappointed with the service. Last week I bought a fruit loaf and nearly broke my tooth on a very hard piece that looked like a stone. The manage said that she would give me a new loaf. However when I went to collect it this morning she refused to give me the loaf saying that it wasn’t a stone but a piece of extremely hard date which would have caused damage if I had bitten on it. The assistant served someone else whilst I was waiting and completely ignored me and started writing in a book.

Whilst not an official corporate endorsement, as an organisation we were looking for a bakery local to a remote venue we were using to provide some breakfast treats. The help and service we received was brilliant, and the food was to match. the Bakery delivered to our remote location, at the time they promised and stayed in contact up the the event and accommodated our change in order. Brilliant service all round. just sorry I was too busy at the event so didn't get to eat more than three to replace lunch after we had done - could easily have polished a box off!

Ice cream shop
Baskin & Robbins is a vibrant ice cream parlor chain offering an extensive selection of flavors, sorbets, and yogurts. This casual American-style establishment serves a variety of ice creams, desserts, hot and cold drinks, as well as hot food when available. While some visitors found the staff to be somewhat friendly and accommodating, others noted issues with mislabeled or unlabeled ice cream flavors.
Love visiting here every time I go to Southend, the range of ice cremes and other sweet treats is spectacular. When I visit the staff are always friendly and are always happy to give out free samples to entice you to try new flavours. Well worth a visit.

Nice ice cream parlour bit slow on service but great food also serves crepes and shakes downside floor and tables bit grubby and staff not over friendly like not enjoy job. Play area for kids keep younger ones quiet while waiting in line.
Adam L — Google review
Kind of predictable. Not in a bad way though. Bright, clean and friendly. Good place to take your toddler as the soft play at the back entertains them for enough time for you relax and have a coffee. However the kids will soon notice they serve ice-cream.
Rodney M — Google review
I got the Brownie Sundae... Best thing I've ever eaten, but also a little sickly... Seats are very comfy and the play area is great for kids to burn off all the energy after their meals... Nice place to sit in and have a break, little pricey but ultimately one of the best establishments on the seafront. 96% sure I'm going to be back again
Ashley ( — Google review
The place was overpriced , milkshakes were awful and crepes and pancakes were woeful I could have done better. And to charge children to use the the soft play area was disgraceful as we spent £80 on food. Has for the poor girl who had to serve everyone when it was busy and no help while the manager was out the back doing nothing. I felt for her.
Wayne F — Google review
Lovely ice cream but a bit expensive and slow service. Visited last night around 19:00 and served virtually straight away but it took more than 10 minutes to get a 3 scoop and 1 scoop cone plus mango milk shake. Had to say 2 time wanted a small milk shake and 3 time that it was mango. The mango milkshake was not great & my daughter thought it tasted funny and did not finish it. With a bottled drink this was £12.90. The staff were polite and courteous but seemed in no hurry to deliver and I would say untrained particularly when compared with staff in Starbucks, for example. 2 other customers were looking at the ice creams before we arrived and only one had been able to place an order in the time I was being served. Because of the ice-cream we will go again but not soon. They must be loosing so much trade through slow inefficient service particularly given there is a 15 minute camera monitored parking outside.
Nick S — Google review
What a shocker this place has turned into! First of all it was filthy inside. Spilled ice-cream over tables, chairs and floors. The counter looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a week. None of the ice-cream was labeled up so we just had to guess flavours. The staff weren't rude but you could tell they weren't happy to be working there, even the girl serving was wearing a subway uniform for some reason ? Wouldn't bother going back again.
Glenn H — Google review
Terrible place. Advertises Donuts outside which attracted us to go in but after ordering two teas we were told they no longer sold Donuts. So asked for cake that was advertised on one of the illuminated overhead boards inside only to be told they do not do cake anymore. Asked about hot crepes also advertised above a crepes counter only to be told "we don't do any hot food". This despite lots of hot snacks advertised! This place is a sham and should be avoided. They did however do tea, coffee and ice cream. There were several people who came on and walked straight out again while we were drinking our tea and we also noticed on our way out that the ice cream selection was also greatly reduced from advertised. I suspect this place is on the verge of collapse and going out of business. Apparently the place used to be very good.

Scoops 37, which opened in May 2021, is a popular spot for delicious and Instagram-worthy ice cream. In addition to offering classic flavors, the shop has an extensive selection of vegan options along the seafront. While some customers have noted occasional atmosphere challenges due to its location, many have praised the fantastic ice creams and variety of flavors available. Despite mixed reviews about service quality, visitors generally appreciate the tasty treats and charming decor at Scoops 37.
We have recently visisted Scoops 37. Sccope 37 is a good place for ice cream lovers in Southend! The variety of flavours is amazing—from classic favourites to unique, creative options. I tried the pistachio and bubblegum, and both were incredibly creamy and full of flavour. The presentation is lovely, and the portions are generous too. The staff were friendly and happy to let me sample a few before choosing. It’s the perfect treat on a sunny day by the sea. Highly recommend!"

For such nice food and drink the staff are notoriously rude. Every time I’ve gone I’ve had to initiate a conversation, there’s no hello or what may I get for you. Today was worse enough, asked for my order 3 times until it eventually sank in her head that she makes milkshakes and asked what flavour, apparently there are sub flavours for a vanilla milkshake which is what I was asking. After she made it she asked would you like to leave a tip to which I said I’d rather defecate than leave one. Honestly it’s the same insufferable teenagers with bad attitudes and high egos, you work with ice cream not rocket ships.
Dan S — Google review
This Is a Hard Pill to Swallow. For the last three years, Scoops has been more to us than just dessert. It’s become tradition. My best friend and I would make the hour long drive every week, chasing that perfect bite of cookie dough: chocolate tap first, then a scoop of ice cream—always in that order to keep the chocolate warm and gooey. It became our thing. A quirky request that, at first, was a laugh with the staff but eventually became their new norm. (Tap first really is better.) Over time, we shared that ritual with friends, family, and our partners. Scoops became part of our identity. It was a place wrapped in laughter, late night chats, and memories we didn’t realise we were making until we looked back. We’d joke that Scoops was the happiest place on earth, but deep down, we meant it. But, as they say, you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. Last night, after McDonald’s Easter letdown (no Creme Egg McFlurry), my girlfriend spotted Creme Egg ice cream at Scoops and lit up. We rushed in, excited, but what we got was a hollow echo of the past. The cookie dough came in a waffle tub, not the classic box, with maybe a third of the usual portion but for the same £8. It was thin, stuck to the bottom, and had none of that signature gooey magic. It was rock solid. My girlfriend tapped out after two spoonfuls: “Not worth the calories.” I kept going, scraping at the bottom until a chunk catapulted out and splattered all over me. That was my cue to leave. I should’ve written a hundred 5-star reviews by now. Instead, I’m writing this one, and it breaks my heart. The journey, the cost, the comfort... it’s no longer worth it. To the team that served us over the years: thank you. Without even realising it, you’ve been part of our story, part of something special. And to whoever made Scoops happen, I’m sorry our story ends like this. Live, laugh, love, Scoops.

Had 3 scoops of pistachio, biscoff and reeses pieces. Very nice ice cream. Decent size scoops. Only £4.50 for 3 scoops. Along the street was charging up to £7! This is the place to go.

After a nice day down the seafront with my 5 year old Son thought wed finish a lovely day out with a pricey but nice ice cream everything was ok all the staff if im honest all looked like they didnt want to be there with almost no people/customer skills and just about looked like they were old enough to have a national insurance number! (Not an insult to the staff) after finishing quite a sticky icecream i asked if there were any bathroom facilities to wash my boys sticky hands which my reply was just a blunt no... so i then specifically and politely asked for some napkins and a cup of cold water so i could rinse my sons hands, after waiting for the member of staff to ask another member of staff if it was ok when being passed the water i instinctively as a parent dipped my fingers in there to make sure it wasnt to hot (i asked for cold) to my instant painful surprise id dipped my fingers into a cup of boiling water out of the hot tap!!! I then said "i clearly asked for cold water to rinse my sons hands and you gave me boiling water" i said "lucky i checked first or that would of been a trip to A&E" it was quite busy and i didnt want to make a scene in the shop so i thought id ring when i got home to make a complaint but i cant seem to find a phone number for them so i thought id leave this review (i never leave reviews) surely the fact they sell a form of food and drinks and a lot of there custom must be parents with all age ranged children they would have some toilet facilities? But surely aswell its common sense if someone asks for cold water for a child for whatever reason drinking rinsing washing you wouldnt give them boiling water... rant over it didnt ruin our day but could of so easily done so!

Avoid this place—worst customer service I've ever experienced. The staff, especially the red-haired girl, were rude and uninterested. We waited ages to be served, despite asking to dine in, our food and drinks came in takeaway packaging. The coffee was weak, and even after requesting a remake, it was still poor. When we asked for milk to top it off, we got attitude instead. The donuts tasted off, and the staff dismissed our concerns with excuses. Totally unwelcoming.
