I loved everything about this place. The service, the food, and the wine is a must to pair. Unfortunately I was upset to see the table next to us had a wet dog with a couple in which was somehow allowed in a nice restaurant where I spent around 500$ on 2 people. The worst part is this couple would go outside to smoke after every course and coming back in ruined my experience a little with the smell of cigarettes and dog. Even after a no animals sign posted on the entrance. Otherwise would be 5 stars. This would be considered illegal in America due to restaurant health laws. Also, was surprised to see the man in a messy looking T shirt with graphics on it. Usually this class of a restaurant wouldn't allow this dress code. But, it was the best food and service I've ever had and will be going back given the chance. The waiter was nice enough to take his time in presenting exactly whats being served along with a lovely description along with a little history and knowledge of every wine being paired. Get the wine, they did an excellent job choosing the pairings and it makes the dinner just burst with more flavor. Also, the waiter explained everything in English and accommodated me very well.

My journey to this unique brewery began with a local friend who is an aficionado! The brewery, or Brauhaus, is nestled in a converted swimming pool, a setting that adds a delightful quirk to the atmosphere. The interior is a testament to clever design, with a ceiling adorned with coloured ball-shaped lamps. The tables are strategically spread across three floors, offering patrons a chance to soak in the lively dining experience from various vantage points. When the crowd is in full swing, the energy in the room is electrifying, giving me goosebumps. The menu at this unique brewery celebrates authentic German cuisine, prepared with care and precision. As I was killing time walking around this part of Wuppertal with my trusty Hovawart dog, Bero on Sunday afternoon recently, I saw a signpost to this place and I was thrilled to see that it looked very big and inviting. I walked into this place, under the model of the Schwebebahn (suspended railway that is so special to Wuppertal) and made my way upstairs. I was then accosted by a friendly waiter who sadly informed me that no dogs were allowed upstairs. But he did say that Bero & I could stay downstairs, on our own, and a waiter would come down to serve us. So we duly sat alone and a friendly guy promptly came to take my order of a nice glass of Wuppertaler Helles. He also returned a little later with a large bucket of water for Bero. To be honest, sitting alone near the entrance area of this large, atmospheric place wasn't so inviting. So we drank up and moved on...

Wuppertal at its best! Phenomenal Brauhaus dressed in the theme and «mascot» of the city: its magnificent Schwebebahn! From the second you enter you are greeted with a fun miniature version of the city’s suspension railway, its nice fitting decor as well as signs for each Schwebebahn stop. They also clearly play with the venue’s past being a former bath house which is a nice historical touch. This Brauhaus offers you a nice, relaxing setting with lovely music, good service and amazing, traditional and local food, and some dishes are also suited for vegetarians. To top it off their offer a good selection of beers on tap that they humbly brew themselves which are just as astonishing. A great visit and a place worth going to several times. We loved our Brezel with pesto dip, Steinpilztaschen, and their home brewed beers! Prost!

The venue for this bar is great! They have really gone with a theme and there are models of different people all over the place. You can also see the tanks that they are using to brew. We only stopped for a beer - we tried the Hells and the Engles, both of which were good. The food menu looked extensive and the people eating near us seemed to be having a good time. The staff were nice and spoke good English. There was WiFi available.

Very nice Italian with high quality, honest and authentic food even for a larger group. Very generous plates, no matter if Pizza, pasta or seafood dish. Very friendly and empathetic service. Place might be somewhat overwhelmed with larger groups >30 people but not at the expense of food quality.

Had a quick dinner and a great experience. Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, even got a little appetizer on the house before my pizza arrived and I could tell from just the bread alone that the main dish would not disappoint. The pizza has a highrised crust at the edge and a thin crumb with a perfect chewiness of the dough. The tomato sauce is rich, savory and full of flavor. Depending on which variant you choose, you will get Fior Di Latte, Buffalo Mozzarella or Bufalla and a variety of other toppings; all fresh and all incredibly delicious. Also the antipasti and dulce are really good and the service staff is incredibly hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. They are more then glad to help you. So if you want an authentic Italian lunch/dinner look no more and go check this place out. A clear recommendation from me 👍🏼

The place itself is modern with an oriental touch – carpets on the walls and a big grill that gives it a very authentic feel. That said, the chef seems to like experimenting with traditional dishes. For me, he might be a bit too creative. Some recipes should be left as they are – for example, putting salty cheese inside künefe really doesn’t work. Turkish classics don’t need fixing. It might be a mistake as well. Overall, it’s a stylish restaurant with good food, but if you’re looking for traditional flavors without surprises, keep this in mind.

Pan-Asian spot with a great selection of sushi, featuring modern and colourful décor in a bright, airy space. The sushi was tasty and the prices reasonable. One drawback: they don’t accept card payments. Service was friendly and attentive.

We ordered a plate of sushi for 2 + fried salmon rolls and they were really delicious. The plate is not enough for 2 in my opinion so consider that if you’re hungry. Our order took a good 30 minutes to be ready so calculate a little bit more time in particular if you want to eat Friday or Saturdays.

I'm a big sushi fan and this place was able to deliver. They servers were very nice and they serve the food promptly. It's a good sushi place in the down town with a reasonable price. A lovely place to eat. We ordered the Vietnamese Pho and cold Noodle. The noodle was good, and the meats were soft. But I wouldn't call the broth as my favorite part. It is pretty much mellowed down to catter the locals. I specifically ask to make it extra spicy but it is still not punchy. It is a comfortable place to catch up with friends. :)

The hidden place with old and nice architecture, lot of place for car parking and a small walk if coming via public transport. The special offers include lot of options such as - order any pizza at approx euro or huge amount of lunch (1 kg) at 18 euro and many more. The offers change on daily basis but the old beauty and lights of the restaurant gives a nice feel for lunch. There are nice sitting arrangements for big groups and family as well. Except taste of the food, everything was good for me

Went here with a small group of German colleagues. They easily accommodated all of us. Service was attentive and effective. My wife and I had two schnitzel house specialities. Mine was a mustard schnitzel. It was cooked perfectly and the mustard made a tasty edition. The only downside was they didn’t serve alcohol.

Anyone who knows me well knows that, as a Hamburg girl, I find the Bergisch rusticity a bit strange here and there. With Ewich, you won't notice any of that; the rusticity in this friendly restaurant is exclusively found on the plates. The waitresses were friendly, charming, and attentive to our guests. Period. We enjoyed the typical Bergisches Land dishes and were quite hungry for schnitzel. My boyfriend had the Landhaus schnitzel with braised onions, bacon, and a fried egg, and I'd always wanted to try "Em Ferkesgalopp dörch'en Busch," a schnitzel with wild cranberries, grilled raw ham, and goat cheese. Rade konnte in puncto Küchenleistung, Flexibilität und Sympathie nicht unser Herz erobern und so ging es am Freitagabend aufs Land zum Ewich. Schon der erste Eindruck war überaus positiv. Wer mich näher kennt, der weiß, dass ich als Hamburger Deern die Bergische Rustikalität hier und da etwas befremdlich finde. Beim Ewich merkste nix davon, Rustikalität findet man in diesem sympathischen Gasthaus ausschließlich auf den Tellern wieder. Freundlich, charmant und gastorientiert wurden wir von den Servicedamen umsorgt. Punkt. Das typisch bergische Speisenangebot hat uns gut gefallen und wir hatten ordentlich Schnitzelhunger, für den Liebsten gab es das Landhaus Schnitzel mit Schmorzwiebeln, Bacon und Spiegelei und ich wollte ja immer schon mal „Em Ferkesgalopp dörch'en Busch“, also ein Schnitzel mit Wildpreiselbeeren, gegrilltem Rohschinken und Ziegenkäse. Die Schnitzel tadellos, gut saftig und die Panierung schön knusprig. Die Landhaus Variante mit üppigem Belag kam bestens an. Auf meinem Schnitzel hatte sich der Ziegenkäse anscheinend vergaloppiert, das dünne Mini-Scheibchen ging geschmacklich leider völlig unter, da gibt es schönere Brie Varianten mit mehr Aroma. Die Bratkartoffeln hatten wir uns schön kross gewünscht und die Umsetzung hat zumindest auf meinem Teller bestens funktioniert. Geschmacklich sehr gut und auch der knackfrische Beilagensalat mit einem schönen Joghurt-Dressing hat uns gut geschmeckt. Salz- und Pfefferstreuer auf den Tischen sind für uns nicht unbedingt zeitgemäß, wir sind ja nicht auf irgendeinem Ausflugsdampfer. Auf Wunsch gab es aber eine ordentliche Pfeffermühle, passt auch besser zur guten Küchenleistung. Man schmeckt deutlich, dass hier mit guten Produkten gearbeitet wird, kleine Veränderungen wären natürlich wünschenswert. Das Weinangebot wurde mündlich vorgetragen, die Herkunft war nicht bekannt. Ich weiß ja schon immer gerne, wo die Träubchen groß geworden sind. Der Grauburgunder ordentlich, der Lugana nicht mein Fall, dafür aber deutlich besser gekühlt. Einen Einleger in der Speise-/Getränkekarte hielte ich für sinnvoll. Der Laden brummt zu Recht. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal in diesem sympathischen LandGastHaus mit Wohlfühlcharakter. Entscheidend ist für mich immer der persönliche Eindruck und nicht der Platz bei MLDL.

Food, drinks were really fresh and tasty with good choice of italian cuisine and grills. However, service were catastrophic - 2 waiters were really rude and unpleasant - not looking while taking orders, trying to give lessons few times how we need to order, brining us the things that weren't ordered and etc. Since we're with guests, we did not take that seriously, which will not be the case next time.

The interior of this restaurant is very well done, including a few seats that have a pretty cool semi-cage over them. I had the calzone, which was delicious and huge! The service was good. The view is a little disappointing, as you are staring into the parking lot... which, by the way, is large and free of charge.

The Food was good and the waiter was great! But the downside was they don’t accept any Card Payment 🤨😕😔. I had to walk post dinner at 10pm to the Train Station to withdraw Cash. I just flew into Germany a few hours back. In a few hours the 3rd Vendor refused to accept Card Payment and wanted only Cash. Very disappointed with the restaurant and German SME Businesses, for their backward behaviour.

Maybe long story but you just want your stuff to be safe, so perfect! Then we had the Diner, Pfeffersteak, salat and a nice Hefe Weisz from fass. Really good!!! Nice atmosphere, lots of guest but not too crowdy. Friendly staff, good service. You just have the sense this is ok-place. Then the Hotel-room, on the first floor #15. All new interior. Good bed. Nice shower, bathroom. Not a huge room but just perfect for one or two nights. We ordered white wine, we like the dry. A Croatian family wine was recommended...superior wine! Next morning the breakfast. Fresh bread, toast, omelette was baked fresh. Coffee, tea, yoghurt and so on. What else do you need? Then the pay: € 145,- all included!!! So the beer, the Diner with wine, the extra bottle of wine, cappucino, breakfast, good room. See you next time!!!!!!

An amazing find. Googled Thai restaurants and was in the top results. It was a wet and miserable evening. Our motivation to leave the house was waning. We however, are so pleased we did. Our hostess was very friendly, caring with excellent English and helpful as were all the staff. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We sampled the Thai beer Singai (probably misspelt) which was a smooth and light lager. We will definitely be going back to sample more from the menu.

For me it was ok. Friendly service but it took time to get the ordered food. My wife who is Thai didn't like it. One problem may have been, that the owner changed and the new cook comes from Indonesia.

Die beiden jungen Damen im Service agierten ausgesprochen freundlich, erfrischend natürlich und routiniert. Trotz fast vollem Haus wirkte niemand arg gestresst und Blickkontakt war jederzeit möglich, so dass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Zum guten Schluss hatten wir noch ein nettes sowie informatives Gespräch mit Herrn Steven Link, solche gastorientierten Persönlichkeiten trifft man heutzutage leider viel zu selten an. Das Ambiente war nicht so unser Ding. Punkt. Zivile Preise. Ordentliches Angebot an offenen Weinen. Sehr schön ein mir bekannter Moselriesling von Nick Köwerich, der mir sogar in der halbtrockenen Variante (Für Feen und Elfen) gut gefällt, obwohl ich eigentlich trockene Weine bevorzuge. Wir empfehlen diesen sympathischen Laden gerne weiter und kommen bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder und spätestens im November lockt ganz sicher der Gänsebraten mit Cointreau-Sauce. Our room was not at the same building as the reception and at night time I didn’t find it initially the entrance. Other than that, all was nice and good. Parking was next to the building! Convenient! Hot shower, removable shower head which was a plus, great breakfast, and serene surroundings in the morning time where a walk around is suggested!
