Food: As for starters we took cabbage and garlic soup that came with Croutons and bread , The meal for 2 with tasting of several dishes felt okay expected to taste more savoury flavour but was very distinguish flavour with minimum salt and pepper, Service: Not accepting card payments so you need to be very calculated with whatever you order otherwise you end up with running to hunt for ATM in a freezing cold night it's 2024 and still no card payments in a nonstop going dining experience. Atmosphere: We had to agreed to set with another couple due to waiting periods they don't take reservations In conclusion: if they sort out payments method and seasoning and add reservations will increase the quality of dining experience .

The food was so good and didnt cost that much , the vibe was great with the music and the location at the center of this nice town and the waiters were very nice and funny and even gave us a blanket because they saw it was cold for us. I suggest to come and eat here. my family and I had a very good time ;)

One of the best meals I've tried: pancake filled with delicious meat and sauce. Goes really well with the grated cheese on top. This meal gets highest grade without any hesitation, simply top notch! 👌 Wish I could go back and eat it again.

Got here with friends for the dinner. Found this restaurant in google with very good reviews. We tried garlic soup, hunter goulash and deer leg. Everything was tasty. I find deer leg tastes more like if you eat a liver, just unusual for me, although the dish is very posh and the sauce was amazing, that’s why food rate is 4, goulash was just amazing! The other thing is they don’t accept cards. It was very unusual to meet at such popular touristic restaurant. We were about to leave but some guy suggested the option with transfer to the Revolut bank and this made us stay in the end. Thanks to some guy who saw us leaving and suggested the solution. But just don’t understand the logic with no cards.

I visited the restaurant in July 2022, also a delayed review. Small restaurant with 3 tables outside, 3 tables inside + seats at the sushi bar. Service was good The sushi was good, just good, not very good. Very small rolls. While making the order, we thought that in 3 we would eat well. Unfortunately, for the price, in many other sushi restaurants you will eat twice as much. Perhaps it is the only sushi in town?

We had good experience at Alto sushi. inside are few tables, so it is quiet place. They dont have menu in English, but waitress was helpful. I liked most of all Ramen. It was so big bowl and rich with ingridients. Ir I ever return to L. Mikulas, I'll return to Alto sushi.

Very good miso soup and sushi. The service is a bit slow and the menu is in Slovak only. The main reason I rate this place 3/5 is because it's very expensive, namely, every sauce and extras (mayo, ginger, etc..) and even plain water cost around 1.5 euros

Nice sushi in Liptovský Mikuláš. Place is pretty small, so be warned, might be full by the time you are in the mood for sushi. They still do takeaway so you can easily enjoy it in the nearby park. Also good tea options!

Very nice place with good service. We had miso, which was delicious. Pad Thai with strong nut flavour. And the best togarashi dish I have ever eaten. The sushi was also really good. We even got a discount! Great experience 5 out of 5 🌟

I had a train departing from the station at 2:00 on the night and the train station building was closing 22:40. The temperature was -5 C and dropping and my 15 year old brother and i (18) were not dressed for such weather. I asked if we could wait those 3 hours in the lobby since it was getting cold and it was very dark. The lady behind the counter said that since we don't have a room, she can't help us. I explained that my brother and i were going to sit in -10 C for 3 hours otherwise, and if i asked why she couldn't let us wait, she got really rude. We ended up spending the night on the benches on the platform and we both got sick.

We booked 2 rooms, 3 nights. 4 star hotel - poor, not suitable for 1 star. No air conditioning, very hot, you can't stay with an open window, since a lot of mosquitoes come in (pictures attached). Breakfast: one day we were limited until 9:00 in the morning because of a wedding in the evening, that is: "fly out early from the dining room", on the third day many things were missing in the dining room, the bread was dry!, we kept asking to bring things for the meal, and this is a 4 star hotel . The hotel is dark, you enter the corridor - you have exactly 1 minute to get to the room, otherwise the light goes out. Not suitable for older people and not at all suitable as a hotel, maybe as a simple road hotel. By the way, we received 2 ventilators after a request, one small (suitable for a car) and the other large. The staff - which consisted of one lady was very kind. The first night - in one of the rooms it was not possible to open the window, so we got another room instead, Saute, for which we paid another 40 Euros!, yes yes... "special price". In short, not recommended at all!!

The price on the site while reservations and in bill differed for plus 30€ per 2 nights. And the only solution that we were proposed was to have a late check out that we did not need. Though we were ready to accept entrance to SPA for future or dinner or wine. But… NO. When we’d arrived we got a wrong room with a king size bed instead of 2 separate ones. It took us time and effort to exchange it. On the first day we came to SPA at 21:10 as it was supposed to work till 22:00. But we were denied as we’re the only. The next day it worked till 22:00🤞🏻 and it was really good. For sure I’ll omit this hotel for future.

Absolutely tragic place to stay in. Quality of hotel itself together with restaurant is 2 star not 4. Going to restaurant for dinner was horrible mistake. Half of that was ,,booked,, just because the waiting stuff could not be bothered to walk around whole place. That proved tobě true next morning when it was again ,,half booked,, with signs of reserved on table while there was noone allowed to sit. I would understand that if all the rest of ,,available,, tables can be used but unfortunately they very covered with mess and dirty dishes after previous customers. Staff did not looked like they are bothered to clean them up and reset with next covers. With regards to quality of food I would better go to next door pub where they know better how to prepare 4star hotel/restaurant dish. It was oversalted impossible to eat salmon tartare steak covered in ??fried Slovak stringy cheese??, must say one of best ways how you can screw good quality salmon or beef, good job 👏. Main dish, was trout filet, with oversalted rice croquettes, I assume someone was trying to make miniature arancini but it turned into small salt balls, lovely. Not mentioning that waiting staff literally didn't give f*. You had to wave at that to get any attention to order. This place is just one of the biggest mistakes in this area, price of food and accommodation is absolutely ridiculous compare to quality you get. It is much more worthy to drive few more miles over the Polish borders and stay there, you will get royal service in its best.

Very nice place, great staff, delicious coffee ale beautiful views. If you like mountains, this place is a good start for mountain walking. Prices are not very high. I left Hotel Jánošík with good memories!

Check in and the service in the hotel is pretty good although not all the reception employees speak English perfectly they always try to help. The rooms are clean and have whatever you need. Breakfast is pretty good also but you have the normal options nothing special. overall I think it is a really nice place to stay in and at least for us it completely justified the price

Cosy hotel located with a skibus stop close to the city center. It has a nice lobby bar, restaurant, wellness. I had a double room (my 2nd stay here), has a nice view to the river and mountains. Breakfast is included, wellness is 6eur for two hours or might be free, depending the bundle you book. The restroom even has a bidet. The double rooms are only available with shower, for bathtubs one needs the bigger room type. There is a ski room as well.

The receptionist, a young woman, was friendly and sweet. There was only one room for me, on the second floor and she told me it could get hot. And hot it was! I didn't sleep at all. At breakfast it turned out the hotel was almost completely empty (I was there asap because I hadn't slept, only two tables were set.). I wonder why I couldn't get a room on the first floor. Breakfast was served in a beautiful but empty desolate hall. A male staff member was watching a tv series or movie on his smart phone with the volume turned up. This was quite annoying and antisocial. Breakfast was good, however. The waitress was friendly. It's my impression that the hotel cares very little about the guests and does minimum effort. Also, I asked for tourist info (the center across the hotel was closed) and they told me all the info was in my room. According to the hotel the only thing to do there is a boat ride. Tiny soap, no tiny shampoo.

Nice furnished, renovated, proper temperature in the room. Well positioning near City centre. Missing english speaking reception. Dinner could be served until 8PM. Apparently the flooors are wooden and very noisy when somebody walks down the corridors.

I have called in inquiring about whether there is any room available, so i was told yes - but that it is last one for 80eur inc. breakfast - final price. After arrival at hotel at 23:00 i was told that they are sorry but room is for 92eur as they knew there is nothing else you can book in the city. Always book through booking, never via phone etc. as you may end up like this. Room and staff itself was really nice, breakfast was fine still they were unable to provide you fresh coffee or 100% orange or other proper juice - only the ones with artifical sweeteners which i consider somehow incorrect as for 92eur room for 2 persons...Overally once you book hotel through booking you might be fine, keep in mind that breakfast might not be that nice...

Very nice and cosy, renowated hotel located in Liptovsky Mikulas downtown.Good starting point to Low Tatras mountains for skying or hiking.Good access to most famous winter resort Jasna.Very close to aqualands Besenova or Aquacity Poprad. Yummy east european cousine.Very good pilsner urquel beer.Pleasant prices, friendly english speaking staff.I really recommend this quiet hotel for excellent stay having relax close to mountains.

Well, the hotel is clean and kinda good. But everything count in small things, at morning breakfast the juice has 80% of water. The evening dinner dont have tee, coffe or any kinda water. The hotel is grate, the admonistration is grate. But Gordon Ramsey needs to help in the planing of the chefs menu.

Excellent kitchen, nice rooms! The only problem: there is no air conditioning at the hotel. Rooms at the manzard are very warm at summertime. Cleanliness: 5 star.

The restaurant has a nice theme and a fun atmosphere. The burgers were big and could have been great, but they were way too salty, and I felt too heavy after eating them. Not the best burger experience. There are some games upstairs, but they cost extra and require buying coins, starting from 5 euros.

The food very fairly good. The Rob eye was excellent. The fillet steak was dry, changed with no question, but unfortunately also the second one wasn't as fillet should be. Service was very kind, fast and efficient.

We have been to Route66 a lot. We went again a few days ago on our current holiday. The portions have gotten way smaller and the prices went up. It seems they are now aiming to provide an american food experience, which can be fun for those who have not been to the states. However my favorite garlic soup has been Americanized by replacing the cheese with cheddar. Disgusting. Other slovak dishes have also disappeared from the menu. So if you are craving some ripoff American food. You will have an okay experience. Otherwise there are better places for your dinner. I have to add that the "daily lunch menu" is still worth a visit. Portions, quality and price are still good for that.

This place a high score, really hard to understand the reason. The food was mediocre at most. The soup was ok as well as the potato pancakes, but the rest was not The goulash meat was bearly eatable, and the potato side was tasteless

Food was good, but not everything. Turkey in bekon was not so good and potatoes were very fat, duck was good and dumpling were being great. Dumpling with berries was not so good because it tastes like it was from the store. But place is nice.

This restaurant made one of the best pork ribs ive ever had! And its in “between” season on a Sunday evening. Its a must have!

Very nice staff and atmosphere! You can find traditional slovakian meals here which are made very well! They speak in English perfectly, and some of them even speak some Hungarian. Definitely recommend it!

Nice traditional restaurant with delicious Slovak food. We have been here a couple of times and the food was amazing every time. I would recommend you to try the traditional dishes here which are full of flavours. We will certainly come back here again! There is parking available on premises.

Lovely place with authentic vibe and delicious local food. I can definitely recommend the place and especially their pierogi. The ones with potato were the best I had in Slovenia so far. Don’t forget to order additional Smetana (Sour cream) to enjoy the full pierogi experience:). Another interesting option were pierogi with berries: they are cheap and good (not the best ever, but still nice - I recommend to try). Grilled cheese for starter was tasty. The only thing I would improve is goulash: I expected it to be soup, but instead it was just meat in a sauce - good but nothing special. Compliments to staff: they seem to be polite and kind.

Visited on a Saturday, and it was a full house. We had the beef ribs. They were perfectly cooked, good quality meat and would melt in your mouth. The flavour was great. The pork medallions were cooked so well that I preferred to eat them without any sauce. Soft and full of flavour. Although the mushroom sauce was really delicious with chunky mushroom pieces. As a side, we had the roasted veges that were also beautifully cooked, slightly charred but not burnt, and with just enough salt to bring out the sweetness of the veges. Food took a while to come out, but well worth the wait.

Restaurant and pizzeria located in the Liptov shipping centre above Tesco. The marine theme is carried through the interior design, with nautical references throughout. Having read some of the previous reviews of this establishment my expectations were not high, but on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were very good; no complaints. Overall definitely a notch above the average shopping centre dining experience.

The pizza was really good, but it had too much cheese. Extra points for gluten-free pizza, two of my family members are gluten-free and they really liked the pizza.

I stayed in the resort with my 2 sons and visited here many times. The service was great and the food and drinks also pretty perfect. The staff were all lovely. I didn't get everyone's name but Elena and Peter were outstanding. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!

When in Slovakia, I usually tend to visit the place with local cuisine to taste some traditional food but this time I made a bold choice of going to the Asian restaurant. And it was a good one. We ordered all kinds of meals for food sharing and the selection was delicious. The price and the quality is moderately balanced. The service was rather quick. You can also have your meal outside. I really recommend this place. Go and check it out.

Absolute calamity of a restaurant. Food, service and workers were all not polite in the slightest. They all seemed like they wanted to kick us out as we were tourists visiting the area on holiday. Our waitress was simply spitting balderdash at us. We arrived and ordered our food. In this time two groups of other customers arrived 10 mins after this, seeking to endure upon this unpalatable food. However THEIR service was bearable. Although we ordered before these groups arrived they received their food 10 mins before us!😭👁️👄👁️. We were disgusted at this service and our food arrived 15 after this. When we did receive our food, it was NOT GOOD. It was cold, undercooked, and not very nice. Don't visit it. Amen.

Very nice place to go with family. We've been there 2 times in winter holydays. Good food and prices. You have to try their soups (kapustnica and garlic soup) halusky and spicy pork. They do good pizza too. For 5 persons we paid about 55 euro with drinks.

Felt like home made food. I got a full chicken breast, so portions are big. Price not that cheap. For 2nd meal I paid around 10e with drink. 2nd meal with soup and drink was around 15e. So not particularly cheap. Overall clean, quality staff and food. Recommend

Simple and clean interior with an excellent lunchtime menu which offers superb value for money. Portions are plentiful and the virtually unlimited soup refills are a welcome addition, especially during the colder months. The only downside is that due to its popularity, it can be very crowded at lunchtimes. One of the best places for lunch in terms of quality/value for money.

Probably the best pizza in the town. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed the pizza I ordered. I liked that it was a very thin corpus, nicely baked and richly plated. Anyway, the staff could be a little more flexible. We waited for 30-35 minutes to our pizzas, which is acceptable. But the atmosphere and interior of the pizzeria gave me a cold, uncozy impression - the only minus that is important to me.

American in Slovakia, this is one of the top pizza places in the Liptovský Mikuláš. Crust is perfect. Not too thin, not too crispy, just right.

Wow, just wow. Superior quality, very good prices. One of the best restaurants I ever been too. You cannot go wrong with food, only not ideal but never wrong. (Matter of taste) Service excellent, food fantastic and nice drinks, we went there twice in 4 days.

Nice restaurant, a bit on the fancier side - including prices. The food was very tasty and the staff was nice. Watch out for the paid parking lot, as it doesn't accept credit cards for payment. Maybe it's worth asking at the restaurant if they can provide some free parking time there.

Got here because of the reviews. The creamy soup was very nice. Also the burger had soft potatoes with a super delicious sauce. The grilled salmon was a big portion I was full after half of it. Cool music with dua lipa. Overall 10/10 could not resist to leave a review because a lot of people should go here! Slovakia restaurants charging ketchup from clients is a crazy thing but a big restaurant chain as Mc Donald’s charging for ketchup sachet is a Absurd bizarre thing! We couldn’t believe it 😆 why don’t you guys also charge for the napkin, salt and black pepper etc? No sense 😅🙈

Very busy around lunch time at least 30 min queuing time. Good is ok, staff is nice, kids welcome, nice toilets. Car Park & other shops around. Walkable in foot from Liptovsky Mikulas on foot over the bridge .

We went to mcdonald , and manager havent been talking to us. So we thought to go to burger king , and this was the best choice. Girls that takes oreders super polite and smiley. And food was exceptionally delicious. So if you want to be treated like a real client better go to burger king ! P.S: burger king best choise - super extra cheese double turbo supreme burger with fries

Great tunnel, esp. If you do multiple sessions or even multiple days as the atmosphere around the tunnel is great. Esp the juice bar. Nothing better than watching others fly while you are chilling out inbetween sessions. Plus you can download your videos (2 camera's) later on. Bungalow and Water park next door to make a long stay really nice.

Great experience, especially with two flights and the adrenaline taxik - take it, sounds scary but it's not. Amazing flight coach / attendant, made the experience a breeze.

I was there for the first time. I flew 100min and it was so joyful. The coaches are so nice and helpful. I'm looking forward so excited for next session in the windtunnel next winter.

Apart from that the staff barely understand the English and they are rude . Also the meniu is not translated properly in English . Also the waiting part on the stairs it’s horrible. No one is welcome you . I stayed there for 10 minutes and after that I entered inside by my self and half of the restaurant was empty .

The restaurants atmosphere is very nice. Our food came in 30 min , which i tought was too much but the food was worth it. I also liked the waiters. However there are some things you have to know as a tourist before you come. First of all , they do NOT make reservations for you , if you come you'll provably have to wait on the stairs. Secondly , they do NOT accept card,a bit inconvinient , but they have their own reasons.The overall experience was wonderful.

I must admit, creamy risotto at this place is superb! Compared to risottos at other restaurants that I have experienced, the one here was a pleasant surprise. I also liked fresh ginger tea. The restaurant is surely not saving ginger and I liked that a lot. Not sure how other people take it, though, and if it wouldn't be too strong for them. The place seemed to be also suitable for a wide range of celebrations and parties.

Unfortunately quite average. I have bolognese which was a huge portion full of meat but no wow moment for me. My wife and kids have pizza, way to much garlic in the tomato sauce which ruined the flavour of everything else.

The chicken broth was tasteless, it had non-usual soup noodles. The homemade beef hamburger was very good, the sauce was extra delicious.

Unassuming but nice 3⭐ hotel almost in the town center. Close proximity to whatever you want to do here. Rooms are nice and clean, our suite even had a basic kitchen. Personnel was very nice especially towards our one year old son who liked to entertain them. The only downside is the road noise can be heard especially if you want to keep the window open since the rooms are not air conditioned.

A simple place to sleep. Do not expect a luxury here, however if you need a place to sleep after skiing, it is OK. Clean room and shower. Acoustics pretty bad. Breakfast is OK, dinner was middling.

Very good breakfast! The room is clean and cozy but you can hear the noise from the passing cars if you are a light sleeper.

The advice to hotel managers- order bigger sheets. They are so small that every time you turn around in the bed, they come off. This is for single beds. Mayor guests make the bed furniture dirty in that way so it will cost you more money to replace new furniture than buy bigger sheets.

The hotel is nice at first glance, however there is definitely room for improvement. During my stay I had a room close to the main road, no sound insulation. Due to no aircon I had to open the window during the night, so I couldnt sleep well. The room had almost no WiFi signal or very weak unusable. The parking is good and convinient. I would rate service as very good, however in the morning there were people speaking in front of my room at 7AM, which was very weird and disturbing, not sure if they were other guests or personnel. Checkin process was fast.

We stayed 4 nights and we had half-board. Breakfast was very good, but dinners were outstanding. Plating , serving and atmosphere were exceptional and, in some days, also during dinner we had live piano music. Massage, jacuzzi and spa were very nice. From ski bus station to Biela Put are about 20-25minutes with this ski bus which is free of charge and has a schedule (go to slopes and return). The advantage is that is not very crowded at this bus station. From hotel to ski bus station is a 5min walk. Overall , it was a nice and relaxing holiday and choosing this hotel was the best decision.

Cozy, modern, clean, nice and with good services. Despite its odd location in the middle of family houses, the hotel has high standard. The restaurant has a relatively large capacity, the kitchen is very good, the bar/lounge is very decent, they have a good selection of drinks and spirits and staff is very nice. Wellness is a big plus, it is well equipped and offers several saunas, a whirlpool and a tepidarium. We spent a Christmas here that we will certainly not forget, we felt very comfortable and welcome. Dinner was excellent, although the portions were very small and we were still hungry, service was quite slow too, we had to wait quite long for that.

The hotel is generally clean and cosy, but: 1. Bed in room was too short. For a 192 cm person, the legs hung over the edge, which is not normal. 2. Unresponsive and unkind reception. Answers to guests' questions: I don't know, you can look it up on the internet. 3. On the evening of 1 January it was impossible to visit the spa area because there was a drunken group of 6 people, one of whom was running around completely naked, shouting expletives. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did not deal with the issue. 4. At check-out, when we had already paid everything, they tried to make us pay the bill for the dinner we hadn't eaten. Some other guests simply ate at the expense of our room. It was the first time in my life that I had ever seen anything like that in a hotel.

I also saw a lot of people just coming to the place to order their food to go and then waiting very short time to receive their order. Meals are good. I had sushi for lunch. To put it straight, it's not original Japanese sushi, but rather something like Vietnamese style of sushi. If you have the right expectations, you get a tasty and nicely served meal. Menu is various, You can choose some local flavours like "Sulance with bryndza” or ”smazeny sur", and other dishes like burgers, ribs od pulled pork. Personaly I can recommend beer soup with jalapeño. I sugest to ask waitress for a seasonal beers, they are not mentioned on card but they are really good, but to be honest all of those beers are great and every one of them is different, with other kind of taste or carbonation. I think that place is must visit place on Liptov map.

Well runned and quite fashioned brewery established recently in 2015. They have own independent original design which I like. Especially sort of old-style bottles with colorful cups. They offer good meal, smart daily menus and special events like duck weeks. There are Lagers on tap as well as fine Ales. I personally prefer their "hybrid" called BeerUp - 11° Pilsner Ale. Very good!

Drak is open until 9:00 PM — later than most restaurants in the area, which close at 8:00 PM — and drinks can be ordered until 10:00 PM. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with an interior that feels slightly old-fashioned yet elegant. In good weather, there is also outdoor seating. The dishes are of very high quality, with prices slightly on the higher side for the area. Service is friendly and very fast. There is a wide selection of wines and excellent meats for those who enjoy meat dishes.

We came in just for dinner. Very elegant ambience, but definitely not stiff. Very pleasant and welcoming customer service, yet biggest highlight was the food. I've had venison dish - fork tender meat, very nice gratin dauphinoise with a hint of truffle. My girlfriend had a pasta dish wtih scallops, nicely seared scallops, again great flavours. We never would have thought of finding such a gem in Demänová. Totally recommend! Keep up the great work guys!

Very nice hotel in quite area of Liptovsky Mikulas. Great location' near to all attractions in this area. Very kind and helpful staff. Great breakfast, option for HB. Tasty food. Good value for money. A lot of parking. In the shower, it is not possible to fix the shower head up and it is required to hold it by hand. Very uncomfortable. Other than that everything was great. We have had a family dinner at the restaurant Drak and we can only highly recommend it! Food was excellent, prepared timely, both adults and children could choose from several excellent options. Above all I would like to comment on the staff. Super friendly, very cheerfull and helpful as well. Just to add, there is small playground in the back of the hotel and there is enough parking. Definitely we will come back to enjoy this place when in the area.

We've just ate dinner at this restaurant. During eating one person found plastic pieces in the salad (rocket). He showed it to the waiter after eating, kindly, without making a trouble. The good thing about this restaurant is that it is very big and it is very likely that you'll find a table without a reservation. Plus, it has a kid's area and they can play while you enjoy the food. But the food was not great, and because is so big and busy, the service was a little slow.

he restaurant serves a very diverse breakfast with a rich selection of dishes to suit everyone, along with a coffee machine and a variety of soft drinks. There are assorted pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables. The kids especially enjoyed making Belgian waffles at the self-serve stations. Breakfast is served buffet-style. From lunchtime onwards, the venue operates as an à la carte restaurant, staying open until 10:00 PM , unlike most places in the area, which close at 8:00 PM. Portions are large, but the dishes were not outstanding for the price. There is no real correlation between the high quality of the breakfast and the meals served later in the day.

Very nice design for a modern restaurant, not far away from the slopes. The music was a real joy (only Rock essentials) and the atmosphere was a cozy Nordic feeling. The service was good and polite, even if they mixed up some orders. The food seems a bit “industrial”/“corporate” style, and not very authentic. Even so I recommend you to check this place. They also have a small room for kids to play.

Service was awfull, lady was not really helpful after we asked at least to clean our table after previose customer. Food was avarege and overpriced, for 19EUR you can get actually Burger in Vienna. Probably wouldn‘t go there next time.

Although there is a spa here that can be used by non-guests, it was impossible to book. It's probably fine if you are a guest here as you'll get priority, but if you're not I'd look elsewhere.

For the price paid it should be much more better. The wellness center offers 4 saunas, massage showers, private whirlpools and a Rivera whirlpool. You can also choose a massage for complete regeneration. But wellness centar is too expensive (8 euros per hour). The price of massage depends of chosen type and time. For example full classical massage (55 minutes) costs 33 euros. Food is as same as everywhere, nothing special. Sheets and towels weren't replaced during 6 days staying.

Hotel is located very well. Rooms are big enough and cozy. Breakfast available, it was fine and I think anyone can find several things to eat. Unfortunately the coffee was a failure, very bad for coffee lovers :( We had the feeling that the hot water in the shower has some limited time. Wellness (Jacuzzi and Sauna) were fine, but you have to pay for it 8€/h per person. The cleaning staff didnt take out our trash or even change sheets. In our room WIFI did not work. We have reported it to the reception desk but after reporting it, still didnt work.

Hotel itself very nice, located very well, just to the bus station, so easily can go to the slop even with ski boots. The biggest comments I have regarding restaurant and food. Breakfasts very poor (every day the same), no healthy dishes. Everything fried, or sweet version with sugar only. Afternoon, if you want to order something from card menu, have to wait more than one hour (for 3 pizzas!). The same next day for simple pasta. So hotel very ok, personnel ok, restaurant and service – big space for improvement.

All in all, a good experience, but there are things that can be considered for improvement. Accomodation - well situated: shuttle station just across de street from the back entrance. It takes around 20mins to Lucky and 30mins to Biela Put; - English speaking staff, which are very eager to help - rooms in the annex building quite big and with a balcony, well equipped (hair drier, floor heating and even a support to dry clothes); - it costs 2€ to change sheets, upon request - the cleaning staff will take out the trash, but won’t make the bed, won’t even broom or vacuum around the room; - the room was quite dusty when we checked in; - ski room available in the main building and can only be opened by guests with their access card; Wellness - several saunas and one jacuzzi available, 8€/h/pers 13€/2h/pers; - massages also available; I tried the “complete massage” and it was okish - included only legs and back; - all available with reservation in advance; Restaurant - breakfast available at the property; not very rich and not very diverse, but good and anyone can find several things to eat; - a la carte also available and the food is very good; both traditional dishes and international dishes available; - staff is very nice and make you feel welcomed

unpleasant hotel personal, not answered to questions. restaurant has nicely looked dishes and also tasty. but serving for 3 people was as in canteen. when meal is ready drop it on desk. my son ate soupe and main dish before i got it with question - did you ordered this?

We spent here one week last year and food was quite good. We came back for dinner this year and it was terrible. It was 4 of us, 4 different meals. All of them were either super dry or too greasy. Worst dinner we had during our ski trip. Service ok, but nothing exceptional. Not worth the money.

Absolutely great good. We went there two days in a row. Tasted different pizzas (salmon Pizza was 😍😍). Ribs (in picture) very good and special thanks for slovakian soup demikate (try it!). Also chocolate fondant was very nice. Thank you.

The place itself is more suitable for beer than a dinner I guess, pizza could be much better and the risotto with pork was very disappointing, worst risotto I ate in my life, it was just a mush but the meat was nice, also the waitress was also very kind

Found this place based on the reviews, did not disappoint! A nice restaurant in a totally residential area. Modern food on the menu, not the traditional Slovakian dishes. The medallions with risotto was really really nice. Kids took a pizza and they were also happy about it. I did not like the smoking on the patio, it's where you want to sit in the summer but don't want to smell other's smoke while eating. Also expect some noise from the kids playground. The girls serving us were really kind and all spoke English, very good service!

The resturant has a good variaty of food, Pizza, salads, meat and fish. Good for kids, tbere is a playground outside the main area alsomwith tables and place for the kids to play. We orderes Salmon pizza which was great. Ogilo alio Pasta Cream pasta, Salmon fish Chicken breast witb rise. All dishea were good and taisty. Fair prices !!

We have chose this one because they slow dogs outside of the restaurant. From that I wasn't happy about anything. Tomato soup wasn't bad and quite enjoyable but there was some hard leafs that were impossible to eat. Pizza was awful, from the dough to ingredients and it was bearly warm. For the price it was soaked in water and moisture with some raw ingredients. Waiter also spilled our drink so stuff wasn't that pleasant either. So I would advise you to not go here, there seam to be better options a few meter away.

Great place with excellent location, fast service and good food. There is a good balcony with games for the little ones and inside there is another game zone. The food is simple and tasty: the cheese on the pizza is real mozzarella and the toppings are generous. In oppose to a lot of restaurants in this area, food comes in a matter of minutes and suitable for hungry people.

Pizza eauropean style😀 lots of cheese and additions. Prepared fast and serves by helpful staff. Seems to be popular place as people where coming all the time and alkost entire space was occupied. I was there with two kids age 6 and 9 and they were delighted😄

Very nice restaurant in Liptovsky Mikulas. They have pizza 🍕 & nice food 🥘 there’s a special corner for children to play in - loved it. And parents too as we could chill. You can sit inside or outside but it’s smoking allowed outside. Pizza was yummy, staff was nice. Toilets available. Child & family friendly. Recommended

I dont know about the food, but when we entered, the waiter told us in a very rude way that there are no tables for us to sit and proceeded to kick us out. Even though there clearly was a free table, and there was space for at least 2 more tables. A shame because the food looked good

Some other folk below commented that food here is somewhere between acceptable and uneatable. That's perfect definition. Was there with friends, and one of dishes was absolutely uneatable. On top of that we have to wait really long. Beers are fine (but you will have to wait for them a bit)

Wonderful traditional Slovak food. Quiet and beautiful setting, with water stream and little bridge on the back. Prices were very affordable.

Charming hotel with modern amenities and so close to the slopes! Very professional and friendly staff, in particular the lovely receptionist who went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

We loved our time there. The service was great, they were amazingly nice and friendly. We've really appreciated them! We've spent our time there in the late June and almost nobody was there so we had the chance to ger the whole wellness section for ourselfs. It was great! I can recommend to use it while you are there. Probably not in the winter, it's probably on full then. The area is amazing, if you go in the winter , Jasná is on the mountain at the lift so it is great! It's absolutely worth to go there. In summer it is also cool, the forest is nice and you can walk and hike around Chopok and the view is amazing!! I mean it! I will go back to look around again from the top. I think, for me at least, the weekend was great what I've spent there, and I've really enjoyed it but for this price just give a little bit extra care with the dinner:)

Breakfast had a good selection. Showers were hot and powerful. Only problem were the thin walls where you can hear everything going on next door or in the corridor. We were unlucky to be next to a room with a crying baby all night which kept us awake. Also, the hotel is up the slope so you would have to walk up with all your ski equipment or get on the last lift up by 15:30.

Me and my husband went here for holiday for 2 nights and found it basic. Hotel itself is beautiful from outside but the rooms are very simple. Double bed was very hard and my husband suffered with bad back pain from it. There is a kettle but no cups, also there is no selection of teas or coffee or similar. No fridge, no safe. Room was noisy. We were woken up many times by someone walking in upstairs corridors, I could even hear someone snoring. Restaurant sells average food but closes at 8pm. Not ideal if you go for holiday and your original plan was to have a lovely time in the evening with a glass of red with your partner. Here you will end up at 8pm in your room. Waitress was on her phone. Hotel has great private spa! 2 saunas, cold showers and jacuzzi. We hired the spa for £10 per person per hour. Very good price. Breakfast was very basic, but everyone finds something they can eat. But what was shocking was the service of the reception. We had a dinner first night, they gave us our bill and asked to pay for it at the reception. We stopped by, wanted to pay but as it was after 8pm receptionist said, pay it tomorrow. So we went out to have a drink somewhere else. Within one hour the same receptionist started to call us, saying that we left without paying for our dinner. They would not put the bill on our room. They asked us to come back to the hotel to pay!?! Of course we refused and said we will pay next day. In the morning they started to call my mobile from before 8am, by 9 I had at least 3 missed calls. How rude. They woke us up and I still don’t get why. They knew we are in the room, our car was in their car park, our stuff in the room. We were not robbing anyone. We found it so rude. Overall this hotel has a feel of a hostel. Value doesn’t match the price. It should be cheaper for what you get. If you are planning to go here make sure you go in the right season. Otherwise it can be quite boring.

Very sweet hotel in the heart of ski resort. We enjoyed our family holiday. Few things could be improved as the bar closes at 9pm everyday 🤨. Also the owners have 2 large dogs which make a lot of noise first thing in the morning and if you’re not comfortable with dogs then definitely avoid as they will come running at you at various points during the day. Staff at the hotel were amazing though and really made the stay far better.

Perfect place for skiers! I spent there 6 nights....Perfect location - you don't need car, bus, even long walking to skiing! There is special room for ski and boots - with dryers. Rooms are very clean. Breakfasts are "basic" but with tasty and fresh food. I had a chance to taste almost all main courses for diners - very tasty, well prepared. Personel very polite and helpfoul !!! For sure I will back to this place!

Chicken tikka masala tastes like they used pizza sauce or Italian seasoning with only a hint of Indian spices… this was not made with traditional spices. Quality of presentation was good, however. I eat a lot of Indian food all over the world and this was not it. Expensive a la cart also.

Food was prepared very quickly, staff was friendly. We ordered the lamb briyani (recommended) , palak paneer (favourite), naan and Rogan Josht curry. The curry was on a salty side. the server was quick to offer a swap but we politely decline as the food we had was enough for us. Thank you for the offer though! Still five stars all around and we appreciate the hospitality and the comfortable environment. A hearty and warm meal to our evening!

I wouldn’t be wrong if I said that this is the best beer bar in Liptovsky. There were 20 types of beer to choose from and it was delicious. Food was also great and the prices were not high. A liter of beer costed around 5€. The service was great and polite and also helpful with choosing some good stuff there. The atmosphere was really nice and there were some great music played, the place was clean and it was well arranged with pleasant wooden furniture. For those who want to have more fun, the place offered plenty of board games to play. Definitely recommend it, every cent was worth it. Greetings from Poland🇵🇱

We love coming to Vah. As a siblings catching up on life we had quiet area that we loved. There are board games to play as well! And so many beers to chose from you can come everyday for different one! Love it. We will return soon

Top notch venison goulash. Also worth of mentioning is the high standard of customer service. Manager of the restaurant was personally interested if we are satisfied or if we are missing anything. Definitely a strong recommendation to visit

I had high expectations when ordering this pizza, but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. As you can see in the photo, the pizza was visibly burnt on one side, which affected the overall taste — it was bitter and unpleasant. The ingredients didn’t feel fresh, and the combination just didn’t come together well. The dough was too chewy, and the burnt edges made it almost inedible. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to others.

Lovely place to have a lunch, very friendly staff and the food is amazing! The mushroom risotto felt like a little forest taste in the plate, while the tiramisu was an absolute delight to end up the experience in this place! Very good prices too! A must try

La Simona is the breakfast spot dreams are made of! The Berry Bowl is a solid 11/10 - fresh, flavourful, and a must-try. The Italian coffee is smooth perfection, and freshly squeezed orange juice adds that extra zing! Simona brings a touch of Italy to this town, and it’s exactly what we needed. The service (by Simona herself) is top-notch, and I can’t wait to be back for more. Next on my list? Those legendary pizzas! La Simona, you’ve won my breakfast-loving heart!

Food was of a great quality, the spicy-sour soup was mediocre, the duck I had was dry and totally needed some sauce to go along with it but other dishes we had looked great and tasted pretty good. One dish my friend ordered was noodles with three types of meat, three types of meat in this restaurant means chopped chicken, sausage and shrimps. Chicken was good in his oppinion, was suprised by the sausage but the shrips were not fresh and tasted a bit off. All and all, the food here is mediocre in taste, but the prices are not really that high. Service is very good and the whole atmosphere resembles of a small family restaurant. Because of the food I have to give a 3 star rating, but if you are near and want to get a cheap meal, you can try it.
