Cinnamon buns?! Gluten free! Everything looked great and prices reasonable. Celiac's dream bakery. Eat the muffin and it was soft and spongy with great taste. I had to line up and i see why after trying the baked goods.

BEST GLUTEN FREE EVER. I have been coming here for over three years now, the staff is so friendly and their food is amazing. So many amazing options that gluten free/ celiac people usually dont get to enjoy. Cannot say enough good things about them. They also have so many vegan options for those looking!

Oh. My. Goodness. I had…one of everything? In particular the pierogi bun might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me since being celiac. The bun had soooo much chew! Amazing flavour. The cinnamon bun was to die for and literally can’t stop thinking about the croissant thing I had.

Spectacular gluten free and dairy free bakery. My favourites have to be the bread, and the chicken empanadas. The donuts were quite sweet, but incredibly fluffy. Staff were so friendly and patient with me as I decided what to get. Prices are very reasonable, but you will spend more than you think, only because you will want to get everything there!

First time visiting this bakery, to buy gluten-free goodies for my uncle who is celiac. Delicious muffins, 3 double chocolate and 3 lemon cranberry. Everybody LOVED them. We're so happy to have this great bakery here. Thank you for providing edible options!!

Absoloutley LOVE this bakery. They're 100% Gluten and dairy free and have many vegan options!! They're quality is phenomenal!! ...I can have cinnamon buns!!! *screams of joy*!!!! I've been to many other similar bakeries and this is hands down the best one, simply amazing. Their prices are fair and comparable to other speciality bakeries and they have different "daily specials" as well as freezer items priced a bit down. I drive from Mississauga sometimes just for their treats and it's worth it!!! They have also been amazing for accepting over the phone orders and pre-payments for a friend to pick up for me lol. Staff are all so friendly, and enjoy what they do. They're patient with my long list of goodies and any questions I have. Very refreshing! They also have a good sense of humour, and it shows with my personal favourite stamps at the bottom of the boxes... see pics lmao!! So I accidentally discovered this gem, I was just walking by assuming it was a regular bakery, and decided to check it out. To my amazement it's a dedicated gluten-free facility with breads, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Even a few options sweetened with maple syrup instead of sugar! For now I just tried the oatmeal cookie, and it's to die for. I also loved the girl serving me, extremely hospitable & friendly, + the ambiance was upbeat, lively and bright. Will definitely be back 😍😍😍

Sandwiches are amazing and made to order. Fresh tasty and done quickly. Generous portions. Bakery items are so tasty but a bit expensive. Breads are so fresh especially in the morning. Deli meats are great and at a good price. Clean facility. Shopping carts available. Very friendly and helpful staff. No WiFi. No. Credit card surcharge. Parking is limited in front of the store. There is free time limited street parking and free parking as well.

I grabbed some buns to make hamburgers and they were super fresh and very soft, just the way I like them. While I was there I got a couple treats that were very good. Lots to choose from in this bakery.

Sometimes its busy so be patient. Great little spot for all your deli and bakery needs. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Sausage rolls and buns are a must, try the cakes and scones.

Forgot cake from oakville to bring to St. Catharines and stopped in quickly at this place. They were awesome! Helped me pull together some desserts and wrote a Happy Birthday on a wafer. The mock cake worked out great! It also smelled so great in this store.

We make the 24-minute trip from Lewiston, NY about twice a month—and it’s worth every mile. St. Joseph’s has the best kielbasa in southern Ontario (border rules be damned—I’d do time for this kielbasa!). The country sourdough is my go-to bread, and the pastry case is a work of art. You’ll also find pierogies, fish tins, canned goods, and more—you can knock out half your grocery list here. The staff is warm, fast, and friendly. Big fan here. Elbows up, Canada—you’ve got a gem.

Can't believe I've never heard of this bakery before today. I got the assorted on a kaiser with everything. It was delicious and only $5.50! The bun and toppings were very fresh. My husband loved his 12" roast beef sub. The Portuguese tarts were the best I've ever had. We can't wait to go back!

Had such a hard time finding a great bakery for a custom cake. Funny enough, I found this place on Reddit and I wasn't disappointed. The cake is STUNNING and they did such an amazing job. Will definitely come here again!

Never again!!!! I ordered a Birthday cake for my Mother, ordered online and received a confirmation email with details of my order: chocolate cake , chocolate whipped cream filling, chocolate whipped cream frosting. Picked up the cake, got home, opened the box, was frosted in white whipped cream. I called right away, was put on hold for over 12 minutes, finally hung up and drove back to the shop. I showed the girl working my confirmed order on my email, after checking she said" I am sorry we did make a mistake, if you don't mind waiting 15 minutes we can fix that for you". I said "sure no problem, can we make sure it's chocolate on chocolate underneath"? She said"absolutely, when we change the frosting we will check that for sure". When the cake was defrosted, and she showed me before taping the box, I again said " it's correct on the inside right"? She told me "yes it is, and we are so sorry we made that mistake". Well we had our celebration today, cut the cake, and it had white whipped cream frosting between the layers! Why would you reassure me that it was correct? Was not a good experience, we are not happy with service received. S.

Ordered a carrot cake with buttercream frosting for my daughters graduation party. It was so easy to order the cake online and was ready when I picked it up. The staff are amazing and we all really enjoyed the cake. It was so moist and full of flavour. We were also very pleased with how the cake was decorated. Beautifully done. Recently my boyfriend and I visited your store and purchased subs and the service was terrible. The staff member took our order, rushed us and treated us poorly because she said she had a system and because we weren't saying our ingredients in the correct order, she began being rude. This event happened about a week or 2 ago. And then there's today, we went to Subs Plus for lunch because it's a regular thing for us and what do you know, we get stuck with the same red-haired lady. Again she was rude to us, but this time when she rushed us she wrote down our order before hand and then made our subs and yet somehow managed to get our order wrong even tho she had written it down. Then I was just trying to clarify if the right topping was put on my sub and she began to be so ignorant to us. She was treating us as if our questions were stupid. I am advising anyone who goes here that this staff member is a lady with red, curly hair and lots of eye liner. I am also writing this review because my boyfriend and I are regulars at this sub shop and to be treated like this is ridiculous and your business is missing out on customers because of it. We aren't the only customers with this problem. If you read others, they have similar complaints. I think some of your staff needs to take a crash course on customer service.

Have purchase many cakes here that have always been amazing. Decided to try the Italian salami sub tonight 10/20/2025 and was very disappointed, the sub was 95% lettuce with maybe 6 slices of salami. The girl working was also not very helpful and had very little customer service skills.

Great little store with many jams and other local products. Wide backery selection and hot food for takeout available as well. Easy parking right in front.

Our go to stop for so many staples. Fresh bread and buns are high quality. We always Order one of their pizzas for parties as they are a great price. There isn’t anything bad to be said about this bakery. The staff go above and beyond to help. Oh and I never leave without the deviled eggs from the cooler !

We stop in every Saturday morning after the splash pad in the neighborhood. We absolutely love it here. So many treats and tasty food. We always have a hotdog and a macaroon. It’s a Saturday tradition. Their pizza is really good. They have a lot of selection.

I have visited Mitchell's Bakery a few times and have tried many of their breads, frozen foods, and desserts. One day recently, I walked in and walked towards the display of cream puffs. The cashier loudly and abruptly told me I couldn't pass through, I was quite shocked, first in the tone and way it was said. Secondly, I was standing still. I let her know I was looking at the display. I had intentions of buying quite a few items for an event. After that encounter, I decided to leave. I was on the phone, and the person on the phone even heard and was quite shocked as well. I don't want to give 1 star as I know a lot of items taste good, although they can definitely work on their customer service.

We ordered 2 large meat and cheese trays along with several buns and croissants for a party. They were really nicely put together and very fresh.

I was in today at 4:00 went to the deli and was served by a nice young man with tattoos and I can’t tell you enough how pleasant he was. Made my day . He suggested ghost pepper cheese and my family loved the suggestions.. ❤️❤️❤️ Amazing fresh buns here always Thanks 🙏 HV

I got food delivered for my bridesmaids and I while getting ready for my wedding. Expectations exceeded! Great presentation and portions. Everyone loved it!

The good: the breads are good. the service is good. The bad: I bought a chocolate croissant from Cobs that REEKED of perfume! This makes it hard to enjoy the food and makes me not want to return. I would hope that a good bakery would have rules against wearing perfumes to work if you're going to be handling the food... Gross!

Great Bread. Very fresh and smells amazing. They have the Best scones you can find. Very friendly staff. CAA promotions available. Wide selection of bread and pastries. Call ahead for special orders. Prices are getting very high. Crowded interior but still has a nice design. Plenty of parking available.

This was my go to place when I was staying in the NICU for two months. Myself and the staff enjoyed many different sweet treats, scones, muffins and more! This was something to look forward to and tasted great! The staff ate out of this world amazing and made my days brighter during a hard time. Thank you cobs for being so supportive and amazing. Had a blueberry scone this morning after a chat with a staff member at 6:20 am. Super nice human, and a super delicious scone. Go buy their food! Delicious!

This place absolutely deserves 4 stars..minimum. However, I only review on my initial visit (3rd visit if I plan to return). The employees are very pleasant, service was good. I have traversed the area multiple times and had no idea they were there. I offered to take a few photos to let the neighborhood (as well as others) know that they are more than just bread. My request was denied. I was clear that the photos were of food only (no staff or patrons) and was denied again. That is a huge red flag for me. I was asked by 43 people to review this particular brick and mortar, and it would have been nice to showcase this shop. Unfortunately, it will have to wait. I can say this... DO NOT LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU. You definitely get what you pay dough bread is (was) amazing!

Cobs bread bakery offers fresh bread and pastries daily. They offer a wide variety and extremely fair prices. I’ve been a couple times for their croissants. So fluffy and delicious!

I was looking for a cake for a very special occasion & found my regular bakery was closed on Mondays. Living out of province, I did a Google search & found this bakery was open. Although I never heard of them, I gave it a go. Placing my order was simple by phone. Upon arrival to pick up, I saw the cake looked amazing! It had special features like fresh fruit & gold flakes. Totally unexpected but appreciated given the special occasion it was purchased for. The taste was simply amazing! So fresh & the buttercream was not overly sweet. Even people who "don't really like cake" found themselves eating a piece & requesting seconds! I was very impressed by the presentation & taste of this cake (vanilla cake with raspberry filling & vanilla buttercream). I highly recommend them for special occasion cakes!!

Amazing pastries. There croissants are flakey and buttery. The bread is always fresh and delicious. All around a amazing bakery and my only place for fresh pastries and bread. You won't be disappointed. Anna is amazing every time I go there.

Didn't like the cannoli's, they are more like donut-pastries with a doughy croissant texture and don't have any flavour other than sweet. They should be light and crispy, the pastry should have flavour and the filling made fresh with a nice texture and taste. Not old an soggy pre-filled bland jelly inside

I am a devout con gusto customer, growing up in st cath and often going here to pick up sweets. I have moved out of province and continue to order birthday cakes/mothers day cakes from them just because their quality is so good and everyone I have dealt with has always been so nice. This past fri I ordered a strawberry shortcake for my moms birthday. We were shocked to discover that inside the cake the strawberries still had their stems attached – while this is perfectly reasonable for the top of the cake for decoration, as a filling it made for a very unpleasant eating experience. Confused and a little shocked by this, I called the bakery to see if there was some sort of explanation (maybe a new person was working), or to see if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation. I was called back by a lady who was obviously agitated by my voicemail and talked to me as though I was trying to make trouble (I was not). She claimed that having stems on the inside “was impossible” and even if there was “they aren’t harmful or poisonous”… I was very taken aback on the phone call as she seemed to think I was lying about it? She asked for me to email a picture (which I did) and I haven’t gotten any response back. I am so disappointed with firstly the cake, and secondly with the treatment I received afterward. I unfortunately will not be returning to this bakery and will stop ordering from them going forward.

I have visited this bakery with my husband for years and we have always come up with an excellent product. His favorite, Panini bun. However, today he came home very disappointed with his order, because with the bread that he used to make a wonderful sandwich, he will only be able to put a hog dog inside it. We hope that they will soon redo the style that I show in the photo on the left.

I ordered 10 cupcakes for my 6th anniversary and communicated with the owner on email. Sent reference pictures and then had a change of mind how I want them arranged. Trudy was very accommodating from the start and even had them delivered without charging me :') I really appreciate her kindness! Coming to the taste; they were perfect! 😍Everyone loved the the cupcakes as they were the right amount of sweet. 🥰 Loved the service and would definitely order again!

When I say this was the best vanilla cake I have had!! They made me a classic vanilla cake for my weeding and it was absolutley delicious! We had to save some for our anniversary. Their service and replies were also really fast and delivery was on time. If you are looking for cake that looks and tastes good, I highly highly recommend.

This was my third time having cupcakes from The Frosted Cupcake! They are always absolutely amazing! The frosting is delicious and the cupcakes are super fresh. I ordered the New Yorker, the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, the Pumpkin cupcake and the Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake. Excellent quality and good price!

We hired The Frosted Cupcake to bake our wedding cake and we can't recommend them enough! Trudy was lovely to work with, and the cake was beautiful, delicious, and very affordable as far as wedding cakes go. I also thought it was really nice that we got to do a complimentary tasting before choosing our flavours (so many wedding cake bakeries charge exorbitantly for tastings these days!) 3.5 stars Located off Pine St south with a large lot out front for the donut crowd. The ordering area is not that big and no seating inside. The staff is efficient in the order and packaging (not very neat and if presentation is important, tell them to separate the bulkier items and they will get stacked upon. They have both the yeast and cake old school donuts which are quickly becoming extinct with the take over of the hockey player chain. There is a few picnic tables out front if you choose to indulge immediately.

I just moved to the area and was looking for some good doughnuts. Saw really good reviews about here which by the way I think is misleading. I drove all the way from Welland (19km) to go get the doughnuts and boy was I absolutely disappointed. The doughnuts were not fresh and was just awful. I ate one of them and I got sick. Jokes on me to expect a good doughnuts. Never going there again

We bought half dozen donuts they were a great overall size for the price however they lacked filling for the ones that should have been filled, and the cream filled ones had a very funny taste that turned my stomach to the point I ended up throwing them out. The cream filling smelled and tasted like chemicals and nail polish remover. I don't know if I'd waste my money to give the cream filled ones a second chance, but the walnut crunch was good.

Very dry, old donuts today. I was over there couple times and they were all good, fresh donut smell through the bag, light and puffy texture. But it was not the case this time. I tried to smell the donut but nothing showed. The cream inside the donut is too little or dry out from the aging. About the service, its a bad experience for me today. While looking for the donuts which one I should get, the girl lost her patience and asked me "are you taking 6 donuts?" I said to the girl, no thank you. I feel very rushed. I asked for a blue berries filling donut, she gave me the one with a light colour from outside which I doubted, I repeated "is it blue berries." She even not double checked and just said yes. Found out I got a lemon filling donut instead when I got home. Terrible donut on top of not getting what I asked for. It was around 2 pm and I was in and out of the store for 5 mins. I hope the bakery can make the donuts fresh and professional service consistently.

Some of the Donuts are delicious best i ever had however some of the donuts were very old, for example the long john and sprinkle donuts were tough and falling apart while the cream inside was minimal and turned to a liquid almost. lady serving was nice enough but not very enthusiastic and it was very hard to choose because there is no labeling on the donuts ive seen other reviews having same reviews with freshness aswell and it kinda seems like luck of the draw to me. If they are ensured fresh and added labels would be a 5 star

Cheryl made a dozen cupcakes for my son's under the sea themed first birthday party. She was easy to work with and responded to my emails promptly. I was blown away by her talent and how amazing the cupcakes looked! They were definitely the hit of the party. When I brought them out, everyone got out their phones to take pictures. The cupcakes weren't overly sweet and everyone loved the taste from the cake (marble) to the icing and fondant. I highly recommend Cake By Cheryl and will use her again the next time I need custom cakes or cupcakes.

We had a last-minute cake order because our original baker canceled 5 days before the party, and we found Cakes by Cheryl. Thankfully, she was able to help us out, and honestly, the cake turned out even better than we were hoping. She nailed the concept perfectly. Our 3 year old was over the moon when she saw it. I highly recommend Cheryl for any special occasion cakes.
