The ice cream was incredible, and the cozy and welcoming atmosphere is both family friendly and wildly nostalgic of the early 50’s ice cream parlors. They even have different flavors of root beer for your floats!!! It’s a wonderful spot. Would recommend.

Sugarbot is the coolest bakery in the area! It’s much needed and much beloved by us locals. The owner/bakeress is super awesome and kind and always helps me out with the perfect balloons, cookies, and seasonal treats when I need them for my kids’ birthday parties. She whipped up the most beautiful ombré cake last minute when I had a major birthday cake disaster and was questioning my last bit of sanity. I highly recommend shopping local and shopping woman owned, so this place is a huge hit for me on all levels. Edited to add: I've been lucky enough to be able to utilize Sugarbot Sweet Shop for years and many custom cakes and cookies now. I stand by my recommendation. Jackie always makes it beautiful and tasty no matter how specific and wild the ask (like the time my 4 year old wanted a Watermelon Peppa Pig firefighter themed birthday).

Cookie classes offered by Jackie from SugarBot are exceptionally fun and educational. Jackie is a superb cookie artist and will assist attendees at whatever artistic level they bring to the class. My granddaughter and I have attended three classes and will definitely be back for more. Please do not hesitate to register for Jackie's cookie classes!

Had to enjoy a vanilla bon bon on the way home because we could not wait to try…so good. We got the Dolly bar, jumbo brownie, sugar cookie, and a vanilla and a chai bon bon. The Dolly bar is so delicious and flavorful. The store store is so cute and fun as well decorated with robot figurines. Looking forward to trying a little bit of everything we got!

This was a very smooth process! I needed a small cake, inquired about it, received a response in a timely manner, and got my son’s birthday cake with no problem! Everything was perfect and I will be shopping with them again ❤️

I love themed birthday parties, but my son (turning 13) is losing interest. Rachel made “Ford” cake pops for his birthday and he was so excited! Thank you, Rachel, for helping me continue to throw themed birthday parties for my kids. They were a highlight of his party and will be a new family tradition for our birthday parties!

STL Cake Pops & Rachel were so easy to work with. I sent them the decorations for our party and they matched the cake pops design perfectly. Looked and tasted great and were a hit at the party. Would highly recommend and plan to use again.

Our Girl Scout troop attended a field trip at STL Cake Pops and really enjoyed it! It was educational, fun and delicious! The process to set up the field trip was fast and easy and Rachel was a great host to our girls. Not only did Rachel teach the girls about how to make a cake pop she also talked about owning and running a business. On the way home my daughter was talking about all the types of businesses she could start! Did I mention the cake pops we made were delicious! I'd highly recommend this bakery!

The absolute BEST product and best communication and customer service experience. We have used STL cake pops multiple times and will continue to return! Rachel has always followed up to my online inquiries with a phone call and confirmed my orders and they are always gorgeous and delicious. I ordered cake pops from Rachel for my sister's wedding shower. She created a custom design for me that matched the bride's color scheme and tastes perfectly. The cake pops were a work of art and tasted great! Customer service was also great - Rachel responded to my request immediately and made the whole process seamless.

Sucrose Bakery keeps me coming back for more. Their lineup is always fresh and creative, don’t sleep on the focaccia or any of their specials (trust me, these folks have imagination!). The coffee’s solid, too. And the German apple cheesecake? I’m hooked; it tastes just like the slices I remember from childhood in Europe and. BUT, best of all, everything is balanced—never cloyingly sweet—so the real flavors shine through. Swing by, grab a pastry and a latte, and enjoy life for a moment.

The selection and quality are amazing. Look out Nathaniel Reid. The service lacked passion (maybe they're exhausted from baking all night) and seems to be scattered or inefficient behind the counter. The ambience ... what ambience? Would love to see more outdoor seating options and any vibe in the dining area. The stools at the counter need to be trashed, incredibly uncomfortable. Take it to go ... and it's AMAZING which I guess in the end is what you rrally pay for.

First-time visitor met up with a good friend for coffee. Can't compliment the flavor and aesthetic of the brown sugar and rosemary latte enough! Delicious savory croissant, chocolate cream tart, and chai latte, as well. Staff are warm and welcoming. I wish I didn't have to drive 30+ minutes to get there, but it sure is worth the drive! My friend and I stayed for over 3 hours.

A great selection of bakery, smells amazing! The ham and cheese croissant is delicious, I also ordered jasmine green tea. It’s loose tea instead of tea bag. Chocolate croissant is great as well. Have room to dine in and people works there are really helpful.

When I tell you this place is a treasure in the cut!! I love, love, love their Peach Crostatas!!! They are flaky, the filling is tangy and sweet , and the streusel on top is crunchy! It’s like a piece of peach cobbler in a pocket and without the mess!! These peach crostatas are what dreams are made of!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Picked up Blueberry muffin, Blueberry lemon tart, Chocolate tart and Peanut Butter silk pie. Everything was excellent!

The Laulie Cakes shop is a small one room bakery but what it lacks in size it makes up for in wonderful scent and product. The bakery items look absolutely delicious and the prices are reasonable. A chalkboard on the wall, written in pink, lists all their flavors. One thing to note, if you want to order a cake, order at least one week in advance.

I've had a few cakes made here and sent friends! Fantastic and she is very friendly and always comes up with great designs based on what you tell her! Had another great cake my son loved his dulce de leche' cake for his first birthday! Cleanest baby ever! Lol but he loved it. Had another great cake! My husband loved it! Can't wait to see my son's birthday cake this weekend! It's his 4th!

We had an AWESOME wedding cake and cupcakes made by Laulie Cakes! Everything was done to our specifications and tasted heavenly! Such a wonderful experience all the way through the entire process. I didn't have to worry about anything! Thank you so much!

Laulie Cakes went above and beyond for my husbands birthday! My family loved the design, I ordered a Chicago Bears themed cake and they did NOT disappoint. Posting late but I just wanted to say how happy I am with my baby shower cake I commissioned from Laulie Cakes! It's masterfully done with great attention to detail, great communication, and tastes amazing! It came out SOOO good! They have very reasonable prices especially for the amount of work that goes into making such a cake! Highly recommended!

My sister-in-law ordered a smash cake via Facebook from Laulie’s cakes for my nephew’s pictures. She offered to pick up the cake on Monday, even though the pictures were on Tuesday, but she was informed they are closed on Mondays, so I picked the cake up on Tuesday so she could get my nephew ready for his pictures. She called Tuesday morning to confirm it will be ready by 2pm and they said anytime after 2. When I showed up at 2 they said they were still working on it and it would be another 10 minutes because they were having issues icing the cake. While I waited, the staff said that they had baked the cake that morning and cakes just don’t like to be iced on the same day they’re baked. She said that she is probably going to stop taking Tuesday orders because it’s just too difficult to get them ready when having been baked that morning. She mentioned that it had two dowels in it for stability but the cake was still pretty soft and she kept adding more icing. Although the instructions say not to refrigerate the cake, she informed me that I might want to stick it into the fridge because it was so soft. There was not time to refrigerate the cake because the pictures were at 3:30, which she was informed of at the time the cake was ordered. While waiting, I paid for the cake as a surprise for my brother and sister-in-law. The staff made me sign a form that says there will be no refunds if you choose to pick up the cake and something happens to it once it leaves the bakery and they gave me strict instructions on how to transport the cake (drive slowly, have someone hold the cake or place it on a level surface, etc.). They tell you this knowing very well that they are located on Main Street with cobblestone roads. I followed all of the instructions given and took the cake to the picture appointment. When we opened the box, the cake had torn apart from the center (see the picture). You couldn’t even tell it was supposed to be a honey pot. I would understand if the cake had slid to the side due to reckless driving and ruined one side, but this is not the case. The icing on the sides was too heavy for the soft cake and it fell apart from the center exposing the dowel rods. Call me crazy, but I would think a professional bakery would understand how to build a cake and would take the necessary precautions to ensure it does not fall apart. If they were unable to provide a structurally sound cake, they should have never accepted the job. Like I said earlier, my sister-in-law initially offered to pick it up the day before, but they were closed. If they were unable to meet the deadline with a quality cake, they should have turned down the job or at least mention the higher risks with baking the cake the same day. The whole time, the staff kept apologizing for me having to wait but that’s not the issue. I didn’t mind waiting, especially since the building smelled delicious! I’m beyond upset that this impacted my nephew’s 1 year pictures and he didn’t have a cake. I’m guessing this is not even remotely the first time this has happened since they make you sign a waiver saying you can’t get a refund. This was an absolute waste of $54 and it seriously affected the outcome of the pictures since the smash cake was ruined. I’m so disappointed because I was really impressed by the smell and look of the desserts in the building and was going to consider them for a wedding cake next year. EDIT: After receiving zero contact from the company, they blocked me on Facebook. Eventually called the company and received a full refund although the manager claimed to not know anything about the broken cake. I don’t think one simple negative review warrants being blocked on Facebook with no contact, but who am I to say how they run their business.

Laulie Cakes is awesome! They’ve always done an AMAZING job for our daughter and sons various birthdays and events. Very much worth the price.

The customer service was great. Donuts are about same price as dunkin donuts a mile a way and weren't really that good.

We tried the coconut, peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar cookie, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal raisin cookies--my oh my--they were all so delicious and fresh. 😋 definitely the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had🫶🏻

It sits right in the middle of Main Street. Very beautiful place. Small. This was my first time going and it was busy. The line moved pretty fast. I got the chocolate chip, s’mores, peanut butter/chocolate chip and peanut butter. It was very good.

I saw this shop on the news saying that they sell the best cookies in America. Went there to check it out. Worth it! Recommend: 4 chocolate chip, 4 peanut butter, 4 sugar.

As someone with a peanut/tree nut allergy, I was worried about being able to eat their Apple Crumble Cookie of the month. I sent them an email, and received a response back the same night. I am so grateful that Theresa made it her priority to check and make sure that the apple pie mixture and their topping were both peanut free. I have always loved Grandma's Cookies for the cookies and excellent service. After this, I will truly always recommend Grandma's Cookies!!

Beautiful shop with a really friendly dude behind the counter. It was my first time in so I struck up a conversation with the guy behind the counter and he was super cool. Even went in the back to see if there were any more peanut butter cookies for me (spoiler: there were) and even gave me a free sample of his favorite cookie! I will definitely be back. P.S. if you are in the market for some really nice hats, they have 2xl baseball caps. Apparently the owner used to be an NFL player.

We wandered into Sugarbot Creamery on Main Street, and the smell of sugar hit us right in the face in the best possible way! The whole place feels like stepping back in time to the 40s–50s, from the retro radio and old-school music to the bow ties the staff wear. Sitting at the counter felt so nostalgic, and the attention to detail is spot-on. The ice cream? Absolutely delicious! 😋 Pro tip: it’s tucked toward the end of Main Street don’t stop walking until you find it, because it’s 100% worth it!

Ready for a throwback? The Creamery is a cute old fashion shop with a fresh odor of waffles.. The soda “jerk” was friendly and helpful. Pretty much everything was homemade. They also have homemade snacks like “puppy chow,” candied pecans and other sweets. A must stop in St Charles.

I absolutely love this place. Everytime we are in St. Charles it's a must on our to do list. The old fashioned feel takes you back in time as you enjoy their delicious ice cream. Service is phenomenal. It's such a fun time. High recommended!

How anyone can rate this less than 5 stars is incomprehensible. It's like walking back into the past, with pleasant lighting and enjoyable music playing on a period-accurate radio. The soft white glow, marble countertops and old timey fountain service roped off with red ropes makes you wish you were born in 1910. Scratch-made ice cream , only one of its kind in St. Charles. This may be the best creamery I have ever been to or visited.

This place is a time portal! Very nice interior with great staff that is polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Now what your here for, this place has very enriched flavors that are smooth. The size is a plus given the price in this economic! They have everything in an ice parlor from malts to even floats!!

Staff takes the fun away. I have been in the place several times with my family. The ice cream is good. However, the guy who is always there, not sure if he’s the owner, the manager or whatever, is not prepared to work with the public at all. It is just the way he talks that is too aggressive. And they stand in front of you while you are trying to read the menu behind the counter making you feel rushed. Adults would not care but he makes my daughter feel devastated LOL! The place is always kind of empty compared to Killwins so I believe it has something to do with his behavior. People in the area would go once but prefer to take their business to the other ice cream stores in the area. The store itself is beautifully decorated and the ice cream is great.

I have no pictures because everything was that good I brought most of the family and not a single cup had anything in it everything was amazing! Service was so amazing the choices of different in house made icecrem flavors was top notch! Highly recommend Sugar & Slice Bakery on Main for all your wedding dessert needs! Our cake was beautiful (each tier was a different flavor!), and our guests raved about the dessert bar! All of our desserts were gone in literally minutes!! They also made my husband's grooms cake, and it turned out perfect from just the few inspiration photos I shared! Super easy to work with and incredibly reliable!

I loved this cute little shop! They had a lot of cookie options and gluten free macaroons. They also have coffee options too. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly too. Loved the macaroons and of course I had to get a Harry Potter cookie which was very very good. The size of the cookies were so big! 4 people could share. Haha..st charles is super cute downtown and love all of the bakeries there but I focused on this one because of the macaroon options! And they did not disappoint.

Sugar n’ Slice is a Lil’ Slice of Heaven Despite numerous visits to Sugar n’ Slice, I am still continually impressed by the pastries that I get within each visit. On this latest trip, I dared to try their jalepeno popper scone despite scones usually being my last pick out of normal bakery options. But after I took my first bite into the jalepeno popper scone, my eyes popped out of my head like a Loony Tunes character who just saw the love of their life. This jalepeno popper scone was literally the best scone I’ve ever had, and I’m always a sweets over savory guy which makes this even stranger coming from me. jalepeno popper scone > cinnamon roll > hot fudge sundae cupcake > brownie, but honestly all of these items and all of the other things I’ve tried at Sugar n’ Slice are fantastic, and I can’t say that anything I’ve had here hasn’t been a heavenly experience.

Highly recommend! We ordered a cake and a dozen cupcakes for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Communication was clear and easy. The cake looks EXACTLY like the picture I sent them. The cake was delicious and everyone is always so nice in the shop. The price was also very reasonable. I will be ordering from them for future birthdays!

My husband and I tested so many places for our wedding reception and this place topped them all, not only with just the cake samples but the service as well! They even made cupcakes for us for our wedding photoshoot which were excellent! I appreciated all the care that was put into our request . I even ordered flowers for the cake and they took care of them and made our vision beautiful! We will definitely be using this place for our future events!!

Beautifully decorated bakery and the desserts are perfect. I had a strawberry cupcake and it tasted just as how beautiful it looked. It was moist and not too rich, just the perfect dessert we were looking for. My daughter had the ultimate ooey gooey and it was delicious the cookie was soft and warm and melted away in your mouth.

We don’t normally purchase bakery cakes so when I sent a message to Fig & Lyle’s bakery I wasn’t sure how the whole process worked. I sent the message on a Tuesday morning asking if a Saturday afternoon pick up would work and they said yes! The price was comparable to other bakeries I contacted (a smidge cheaper!) The cake is exactly what we asked for and tasted great! Their service was fantastic throughout!

Fig and Lyle's Bakery is a must-visit! I don't usually do this, but their bakery is hands down the best. I went in 7 days before my friend's birthday and asked if they could make her a cake. They normally need two weeks' notice, but they still made it happen. The cake was amazing, and their chocolate chip cookies are to die for. We had two desserts for Easter Sunday, Chocolate Cream Pie and a Carrot Cake. Now I've had plenty of their offerings but this Carrot Cake was phenomenal. The Chocolate Cream Pie was decadant in its own right. Sweet Things is a must for those gatherings that demand stand out desserts .

It’s really the only place I got to now for my kids birthday cakes. Service is always amazing. The cakes are yummy and moist. I will always go back. See you in April.

My niece moved to new town and we drove around to look at the shops, this place was open so we went in to look. I tried a cinnamon roll, which they heated up and it was fantastic. We tried the gooey butter cake and pecan something, it was good and I'll definitely call ahead and get some desserts from here again

The Italian ricotta & cream cake was beautiful and delicious. The cookies and pastries are done to perfection. The staff was very helpful and patient with me while I picked it my cookies and pastries.

Being a sandwich head I was told if I was ever in the area of Rosciglione Bakery to stop by and get the meatball sandwich. Just so happens I was in the neighborhood for work. So I did just that. Must of been around 1:30 in the afternoon. I was told that they do sell out early but I thought I’d take my chances. So glad I did. I was confronted by a display case full of really lovely looking pastries and cannolis and cookies. I’m not overly versed in my Italian /french pastry’s but just by sight they all looked delicious. Definitely some interesting flavors being offered. I’ll have to come back with the Missis who knows a little more than me about these things. Anyway I’m getting distracted. The Meatball sandwich with cheese was awesome. Here’s why I loved it. The meatballs had a good bite to them firm but not dry. ( you know when you get meat balls that are too soft,kinda mushy?)These weren’t that. Very Italian flavors in them. The sauce was the best part. Tasted homemade and it wasn’t sweet like so many St Louis style marinara sauces. I loved it and I will be back for more of them. The server was very sweet too. I also chatted with the customer in front of me ( a local) very nice. I recommend coming here. Sorry no pics of the sandwich unfortunately I wolfed it down too quick. 5 stars !!

I ordered my wedding cake from the bakery and it was wonderful. The flavor was delicious. It was moist and EVERYONE said how good it was. The cake was decorated exactly as I requested. I was so pleased with the outcome of working with them.
