Ordered several times via swiggy. It seems like Smoor has lost its charm in making desserts. Every single time there is some or the other issue with the food they send. I've raised as many tickets on swiggy to no avail because these b2b/c setups are just content with saving their own image with no resolution to customers. This time for fun, order placed via swiggy here, I found a hair in the mango tart. Swiggy said nothing can be done from their end and need to rate the restaurant so here I am doing the one thing available.

Visited Smoor at HSR layout in Dec 2022. It is a small outlet in HSR BDA junction towards jakkasandra. The outlet is mainly for takeaway, and has multiple outlets of different businesses. The payment counter is common for all the outlets. There is limited seating available, but most other people there were from the food delivery platforms and that seems to be the main business here. They had a decent selection of cakes and pastries and a fridge inside had the chocolates too. I purchased a half kg cake for which there were some 6 options available. The staff was very polite and co-ordeal and patiently explained and helped me choose the cake. The prices are on the higher side, and actually i found it higher than ordering from food delivery platforms. It's good that Smoor is trying to increase its reach by such outlets. The setup is more focused for food delivery apps than for serving customers.

Droolworthy cakes... So beautiful you don't want to even cut 😄.... Smoor is absolutely best when it comes to chocolates. You can never go wrong with any type of cakes or dessert on their extensive menu.

The smoor takeaway or online order from kitchens is completely different in taste compared to smoor lounges and you can expect fresh pastries

I have ordered cake for my kids birthday on September month. The cake was not as we requested design, taste, flavor and the fondant is more. It is disappointing. We send mail with all details but, no reply from smoor team. Seems to be they are ignoring the customers after order is delivered. Even I called to the concern person to reply on my email and there is no response.

Glen’s Bakehouse didn’t quite live up to the hype. The veg pizza was average (6/10). We had specifically mentioned no pineapple, but the one we ordered had it anyway, and the server didn’t inform us—so service-wise, I’d rate it 4/10. The mocha coffee wasn’t good, and the hot chocolate was overly sweet. It would be better if they gave customers the option to adjust sweetness with sugar sachets. On the positive side, the samosa platter was good, and the interiors are quite unique with nice aesthetics. The place might be a little difficult to find for someone new, but otherwise, it’s okay overall

It's a really good bakehouse with fresh products and great food. The burger was juicy and well stacked with good potato wedges along. The red velvet cupcake is a must try and was amazingly made. There are other varieties of cupcakes, cakes, and cookies available too for buying and can be tried. In terms of food, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and burgers, are the options available too. The seating is nice, with both indoor and outdoor options. There is difficulty in finding parking, since the road is narrow in front, hence needs to found on other streets. The service was good with good responses from the waiters on any query.

The English breakfast at Glen’s is an absolute delight! On Lavelle Road, what I love most is their attention to detail—ask for extra cheese, and they’ll happily serve it, making the meal even more delicious. Their breakfast is not only tasty and customizable but also served in a very hygienic setting. Highly recommended!

We visited Lavonne for a weekend brunch after our visit to Cubbon Park. We ordered a blueberry smoothie and signature omlette, which were great. The reputation that this place carries is well deserved! Recommended for English breakfast and smoothies. Parking for 4 wheelers is available. Cons: Seating capacity is very limited, and the food is a bit pricey

Cozy café setup with fresh and delicious bakery and main course dishes. The fettuccini prawns and bacon are must try!! The egg bacon salad is decent ( could work on adding more flavour to the dressing) The chicken sandwich was decent (bread was overly buttered) The basque cake was really good and yes the tiramisu was also brilliant

My visit to Lavonne Cafe on St. Marks Road offered a mixed bag of delightful treats and a few areas for improvement. The caramelized milk chocolate croissant was a definite standout – absolutely delicious and worth every penny. I also enjoyed the milk coffee berliner. While the Mediterranean cheeseburger was tasty and the pasta Alfredo decent, both felt a bit overpriced for what they offered. The cafe itself is small with a simple ambiance, but its prime location on St. Marks Road really elevates the experience with a great outdoor vibe. The staff were polite and patient, and parking was easily available, which is always a plus in Bengaluru. A couple of suggestions for the cafe: serving food on larger plates would make it much easier for two people to share. Also, given the minimal table service, removing the service charge seems reasonable. The current high prices, coupled with CGST and SGST, make the overall cost feel a bit steep.

Tried their signature chocolate cake, butter croissant, and chocolate croissant, all were excellent! The croissants are a must-try, perfectly flaky, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Super tasty. The service is good, the atmosphere is lovely, and it makes for a perfect date spot.

DELIVERING CAKE IN PORTER : I have placed a cake order with Bakingo for my daughter’s birthday. The whole experience was so disappointing. I had selected the time for delivery between 3-6pm. The delivery came at 9pm after rigorous follow up. The cake was delivered through porter. The state of the cake when received was hilarious, inspite of paying such huge money. The cake was crashed to one side, happy birthday written was smudged. My 6 year old was literally in tears seeing the cake. Disappointed with the experience, I raised complaint with them which went down the drain. They denied refund and mentioned about giving 15% bakingo credit. After such a horrible experience, why will I place order with them again, hence I denied the offer.

Ordered a birthday cake and it was delivered on time but the cake toppings had fallen completely and the cake was destroyed like a landslide. Called up their customer care and they said they would arrange a replacement in 3 hours. I asked for a refund but they denied and said they can give a replacement only. Waited for 5 hours and the cake finally arrived and it had the same freaking issue of toppings fallen off again!! When I called their customer care they had the audacity of saying they'll arrange another replacement. This time I outright denied and they agreed for a refund. Completely ruined the birthday party.

Tried 5–6 pastries here, and each one was delicious. Loved the open kitchen concept where you can see the baking in action. Milk pudding was excellent, and their Dilpasand is a must-try. The shop looks fancy, so you might think it’s expensive, but honestly, prices are just ₹10–20 more than regular bakeries.... totally worth it for the quality. Overall: A great experience. Must try!

This is second time they are providing pastries which are old. You can totally understand the difference when you see it. The one which is old will be hard and swollen . The fresh ones will be soft and will have a different texture. I told the staff to give the fresh ones and he told all are fresh though he knows it's not.

Visited Albert bakery after seeing few YouTube videos. Tasted their famous mutton brain puffs and mutton samosa. Brain puffs is good but nothing great. Mutton samosa taste is good but comes with too much oil. It’s crowded most of the time and it takes 10+ mins to get items. Payment is cash only. you can try it out if you’re in this area but not worth travelling far just to try this.

I came to Bengaluru city and some people suggested I should try khova naan. I did and I liked it a lot. I even introduced some friends to khova naan. Then I read a newspaper article which said that Albert Bakery makes the best khova naans. I decided to try it out. Finally, one Sunday I landed at their doorstep. The rest as they say is history. I have never felt so much shame and regret before in my life that I called those other khova naans 'tasty' or 'good'. This khoa naan was something made for the gods. I couldn't believe my taste buds. I immediately slapped myself a few times for eating khoa naans from those other places. I packed some for my home. On reaching home, I took out a whip and whipped my back a few times to ask Allah for forgiveness for eating khoa naan from other places. Mashallah what a beautiful taste. My life has changed after eating it. My love life, my career, everything is better now.

Finally made it to albert bakery. It's been on my list for snacks ever since moving to Bangalore. It's such an ancient establishment yet they have not changed anything to keep the heritage. They ONLY ACCEPT CASH! Keep that in mind. We ended up getting the brain puff, mutton samosa, and cheesy chicken puff. Again, over time I feel the food hype of a place does not pay off. The snacks aren't bad but at the same time, they are not out of this world. Don't keep your hope up on the food but do visit for the combination of food and heritage. If you are a sucker for old spots around town, like I am, then you will appreciate this one.

Albert bakery! Visited after around 4yrs, changing my review from 5 to 1. The person on the counter was opposed to pictures, not sure what they're hiding. Secondly, he got a simple order of mutton + veg samosa wrong, gave us chicken + veg. Didn't want to give us plates, didn't want to explain what the dishes on display were. There were flies everywhere. Food kept out in the open over their counter tops. Yuck. They've truly degraded, the server was just plain uncouth. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Old review - Such an iconic place and well worth the hype. Their mutton samosas are super famous and their puffs! So we tried their mutton samosa, veg samosa, puffs and buns, all were so so good. Freshly made and very well priced! Must visit. Food: 5/5 Value for money: 5/5

Kova Naan is a must try here. They accept only cash, so keep that in mind when going there.

I visited it after 7 PM so most of em were not available. I wanted to try the cream buns, but they didn’t have it in stock. You should try their Dil Pasand. It’s different. They don’t use tutifruties, its completely with coconut gratings. Their cheesecake options were also good. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of their chicken rolls and other chicken buns.

I visited Thoms Bakery today around 9 PM (closing time is 9:30 PM). Unfortunately, puffs were already over, so we ordered a cheesecake, chicken calzone, and a croissant. Cheesecake: It was okayish, nothing special. Chicken Calzone: Very disappointing😔. Hardly a spoon of veggies inside, *no chicken* at all, and it felt like eating just plain bread. Croissant: This was the only good item we had. The bakery itself feels very normal, nothing extraordinary about the ambiance. # It seems more “hyped” because of Virat Kohli’s name than for the actual food experience. Overall, I left quite disappointed 😔 and expected much better quality considering the brand name behind it.

I visited Thom’s Bakery and Supermarket recently with my friends after hearing all the hype, and here's my review. The puffs were delicious with perfect fillings, baguette sandwiches were nice, and the chicken hotdog sandwich was simple yet flavorful. They also have a great variety of chips and snacks. For desserts, the brownies were a guilty pleasure, and the croissants are simply amazing, they're big, flaky, and soft. The cheese croissant, with its subtle salted cheese flavor, was fantastic. But the highlight for me was the Tiramisu Cheesecake, it's light, creamy, and it absolutely melts in your mouth. The coffee muffin cake was also a winner, not too sweet but had great flavor. The ambience is similar to any typical well maintained supermarket. The bakery section is clean, organized, and everything is fresh. It gets crowded, and things sell out fast, but the staples like puffs & samosas are usually available. I highly recommend this place because every single thing I had was tasty! So if you're nearby, you should definitely step inside and get yourself something nice.

Came highly recommended but on a random weekday evening, we set out to Thom's. We got the Samosa, a chicken pie and Puffs as well as the cheesecake. Samosa wasn't crunchy and was quite soft. Fillings weren't too bad but nothing to talk about. Puffs weren't that flaky, and similar fillings. Cheesecake and the pie was good. Overall, an average bakery experience 😅. You can shop there for groceries too, so that's a bonus

Had Veg Puff and Corn stuffed bun. Those were good , also had caramel pudding 🍮, it wasn't upto the mark , the Service should be much better, also they should provide space to dine in..

Highly recommend this spot for a wide variety of delicious baked goods! One of the prominent bakeries in Austin Town. The shop has been there for decades. Their breads are always in demand for the taste and quality. Snacks such as puffs, rolls, sandwiches, and biscuits are also good. The cookies in particular come in a wide range of flavors. The drawbacks are that all the items are sold in exorbitant prices and it's a takeaway-only place, with no seating available.

Picked up some pooris for dinner. They get a lot of home delivery app orders so had to wait. Out of curiosity I tried to order the same dish. What costs 60/- is listed as 75/- in the app. 58/- for delivery charges for 0 km And it came to 153/- with taxes etc. Realized how much extra we pay for home delivered food apps. Abroad if you take away (i.e., not done in you get a 10% or similar discount. As you are not using their real estate. Why do they increase their prices. Even if they spend on packing they should keep it same.

Located off the MG Road in a narrow lane, this charming place is worth visiting for its delicious food and cutesy décor. There are many picture-worthy corners, like a wall decorated with vibrant cups and saucers to a mural with horses. The shades of turquoise are easy on the eyes. Though they’re masters of concept cakes, their food menu is equivalently exciting. We had their Omelet Breakfast with Cheese and Mushrooms, a Happy Crepe filled with banana slices with peanut butter and salted caramel. Next, I had their The Pink Crepe. The pink in it is not because it has pink fruits but due to the color of the beetroot. It is a sourdough beetroot crepe stuffed with spinach and cheese, served with a side salad. The beetroot sourdough was new to my palate, and I loved it. With it, we had their Fresh Orange Juice, Oreo Shake, and a Banana Date Smoothie. We ended our dining with their delicious Flourless Chocolate Cake. I admired their bookshelf concept of Leave a book behind and take one home. Unique. Cheers!

Want an outstanding find just off MG road. Happy Belly Bakes is the perfect mix of a great ambience coupled with some absolutely beautiful food. Ambience: (5/5) It is well lit and has plug points in many key locations making it a great place to actually sit and work. The colours are white and azure/duck egg blue. Very comfortable to sit at for long periods of time. Comes with board games and books as well ensuring that whether you are with a group or alone, there is something to do. Food: (5/5) I initially stepped in thinking it was a dessert and coffee shop, however I was quickly surprised when I saw all that was on offer. This place boasts of multiple all day breakfast options coupled with some great Italian food. We had a cappuccino and cold coffee as part of the beverages and both were made nice and strong just the way I like it. The Margarita pizza was very unique, the flavour from the base and the pesto made it an incredible delight to taste given the burst of flavours in the mouth. The brownies were just like the ones my grandmom used to make when I was little, so no guesses here, I was in heaven. The apple crumble was also delightful in how it just melts in your mouth when you eat it. Perhaps the only letdown was the cheese cake which seemed to have a harder consistency that what I prefer and used to. Summary: A great little find in the middle of Bangalore for the fantastic ambience and an equally great food option to complement. If you are around MG road, do drop by and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Happy belly is a pretty good coffee shop. The coffee, food & desserts are really good. They have got the best possible hot chocolate in the city. There are Keto & vegan options in the menu. Definitely worth visiting. They have a play area for kids too. They have both an outdoor and indoor seating area! Will surely recommend.

A great place to spend quality time with you loved once. The person who works there ( don't remember his name ) is old in age but he is really sweet in nature and full of energy. Coffee's are great and pastries and cakes as well. Their thin crust pizza is amazing. The crockeries use in hot beverages are very good. Comfortable and cozy sitting

I've always been a huge of Happy Belly Bakes. I've been here multiple cups times and always had a great time. Their hot chocolate is absolutely to die for. Today i tried their Ferrero hot chocolate and god, it's pure indulgence but I'd still suggest their dark hot chocolate. Their lemon meringue pie is also one of my absolute favourites along with toffee cheesecake! Their breakfast menu is pretty great as well. And the ambience is also just so adorable.

Lovely cafe where it almost feels like you can get some work done while downing excellent hot chocolate. I had the hot dark chocolate today and it was brilliant. My only complain is that the cup, though looking normal sized in the pictures is more or less an espresso cup. Would’ve been nicer if the cup were bigger considering the price. Other than that, it’s a must visit place if you’re craving some hot chocolate.

Super yummy fooood, I’ve been here multiple times but this time I tried something new, the London mix dish. What a delight. It was very delicious served with a lamb steak, chicken steak, some ham, an egg, rice, mashed potatoes and veggies in sauce. Highly recommend. So, had to visit the first Truffles branch here! 😊 The service was quick and convenient. Although crowded, I was able to get a table for two at ease. The taste was similar to other Truffles branch and their cloud kitchens. I ordered a pasta and a pastry. Affordable, tasty and has the cutest desserts! But yes, just a suggestion, if it can provide a parking space or a facility too than it would be great for all its customers.

The mini chocolate cupcakes are also very good and pair perfectly with the coffee. I especially like sitting outside at the back, particularly late in the evenings. The small water feature and open ceiling give the space an airy, calm, and soothing feel — great for unwinding or having a peaceful conversation. Parking can be a bit tight on 100ft Road, but you can usually find space in the nearby side lanes. Overall, a lovely spot for coffee and desserts in Indiranagar — relaxing, simple, and enjoyable.

Got takeaways, reheated the next morning and had breakfast. The food was so good, we went their next day for a proper coffee. Reallllly good coffee, the ground was fresh and the roast was medium.. This place is getting worse day by day i feel. We should be keep on calling the person to take order. We were of group 4 when asked for water, only two glasses were provided. Like seriously? The cheesecake tasted sooo bad and I decided to never visit glen again and try the cheesecake. Day by day I feel Glen is loosing its quality and customer satisfaction due to poor services. The cost they charge is neither ignorable having been provided such poor tasteless cheesecake and the soda ordered was literally so bad.

Lots of flavours, different sizes/weights, and eggless options as well. I bought the half kg Black Forest just for 499/-. Trust me the cake was damn delicious. We had ordered mini burgers , donuts , puffs and cake for 35 kids From sweet chariot seventh block koramanla for my son's birthday and I must say that the quality of the food was so fresh and excellent. Good experience here, it was Sunday evening and they had waiting for around 20 - 25 mins. Known for their desserts which are absolutely delicious for sure, we also tried there focaccia veg sandwich it was yum, bread was soft, had good amount of veggies inside and pesto sauce not overloaded not less. It pains me to say that Lamara is no longer what it used to be. I’ve been a loyal Lamara customer for over 3 years. Every special occasion in my family—birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations—you name it, Lamara cakes were always the centerpiece. I’ve recommended this place to countless friends. Over the last 6–8 months, the quality has plummeted. It’s shocking how quickly they’ve gone from being a top-tier patisserie to an utter disappointment. It seems like in their rush to scale or expand, they’ve sacrificed the very thing that made them special: consistency and quality. The biggest letdown was their once-exquisite Caramel Financier—a personal favorite and one of their best sellers. My recent order of it was borderline inedible. The texture was off, the flavor flat, and it felt like it had been made with zero care or finesse. Still, I gave them the benefit of doubt—maybe a bad day in the kitchen? But no—the next two orders were just as appalling. None of it felt like the Lamara I knew. It’s honestly heartbreaking to watch a brand you’ve loved erode its own reputation so fast. I’ve never seen such a steep and disappointing downfall in such a short span of time. Unless they do a serious course correction soon, I’ll have to take my loyalty (and recommendations) elsewhere.

An old and well established shop with so many options for bread and biscuit items. What's most important is the fact that they bake their own items like Bread Loaf, Buns, Puffs, Biscuits there at the shop itself, everything here is probably prepared on the same day since they get sold up quickly. Their coconut biscuit  is one of a kind, Really nice. Service was good and the price was also very reasonable considering the quality. They also have cashew macaroons and fruit biscuits and Dilpasand etc. All good quality. A must try for sure.

Had been here around 12 pm on a weekend and it was bit crowded , the staff was struggling to handle the crowd and hence the buying experience was bad. I see many others also have raised the same issue in reviews, Feedback to Management: Management should work on service part by issuing tokens or coming up with scan and place self order using app etc for quick delivery. For people visiting first time and who needs help with staff in choosing products a dedicated, courteous staff must be available with a different queue like they have for ladies and senior citizen. Food taste and quality is good. Would recommend you to try dil pasand , plum cake. Please visit after 2pm if you need to try all their products as many items won't be available in the first half even around 12pm. This I have experienced twice. Their other branch is not this crowded.

One of the legendary bakeries in Bangalore. One of the rare ones that clearly list which fat is used in their items. Few use margarine. Rest is made with groundnut oil, refined oil, ghee and butter as applicable. Their japanese cake is great. So are their veg puffs. The dilpasand is fresh, flaky and has the right amount of sweetness. Their nippat is delightfully light as well. Overall, great place. Can eat there or get things parcelled.

One of the most poignant bakery in Bangalore. We frequently visit here when we visit nearby places. Cake, biscuits, buns are very popular here. Most of the items are freshly prepared. Plum cake, Coconut biscuits, veg pufs are delicious. Also, You see large crowds during weekend. Separate queue systems for ladies. You may need to wait in a queue for 10-15 min to get inside. Drinking water available and they kept tables outside the main door. Road side car parking available nearby.

Loved the desserts here! Tried their famous bana pudding and it did not disappoint. I also tried my favourite desserts - apple pie.. They had two types of it. One is the usual pie/tart like one. I tried the Apple Hand Pie - which was a crisp puff pastry stuffed with apple pie filling. Absolutely fantastic stuff! The cinnamon sugar muffin was a bit too sweet for my liking but it was good nonetheless. I also picked up some more stuff like the No bake peanut butter bars, Choco chunk cookies, coconut macaroon and brownies. Everything was good.

Amma's outlet in Kammanahalli - received a stale truffle cake and went and exchanged. I got another but still for some reason it tastes the same - burnt taste and the cake mould is stale. I believe cakes are not fresh and done in masses and only iced when ordered. Is this how it's done or do others receive same? I found this place to be just ok. The place is average. Food was tasteless and service was too slow. It took more than 30 mins to get our order on table. Vegetarian options are tasteless. One should only go for non-vegetarian food. There is only one person who takes your order thus takes time to place a order also if the person is busy with other tables. Overall not a nice experience. Prices are also average. Can be visited just once.

Just had sandwiches and egg puffs. The food was tasty. The service was quick and efficient. Liked the staff response and care. They manage the crowd so well. Love to recommend this place for snacks and cakes.

We ordered a custom cake for my friends engagement party. We wanted in 1hr, the shop manager was very kind to listen to our request and ensured to prepare it ASAP. They prepared and personally called when done. They prepared in 1hr as promised. The cake was looking very fine and pretty. The ret velvet flavour we asked for was exceptionally good and tasty. We ordered a 3kg cake.

Staff is worst, we ordered one choclate pastry and panner puff. He served me old puff so by the looks of it was evident that he did not serve me fresh. So I refused and ate only pastry. So he charged the price of both puff n pastry. I asked him for menu card to check the price. He refused and insisted to pay both! So kindly whoever is the owner kindly look for your staff n train them. This is no good for your business!

I recently bought a 1/2 kg pineapple cake from Just Bake for ₹425, which felt a bit expensive. When I asked for a discount, the staff told me it's the "factory price" and cannot be reduced. Later, I checked the official Just Bake website and saw that the same 1/2 kg pineapple cake is listed at ₹375. I'm confused about how the price increased from ₹375 to ₹425 when they claimed it was the factory price. If that’s the case, why are customers being charged extra? It feels unfair that the extra amount might just be going into someone’s pocket.

I've wanted to visit this bakery for a long time. Their japanese cakes are popular, but we couldn't get them when we went. We got their plum cake which was pretty decent. Will visit once again to try their japanese cake and puffa to decide if they are really worth the hype.

Just ordered 500 gms plum cake (250 gms x 2 ) and 2 egg puffs through Swiggy. Atleast for the 1/2 kg cake can't you guys pack in a cake box and send it ? You have sent it in a brown paper cover. This inspite of clearly mentioning it in the Instruction. Isn't packing it in a box the normal way of packing cakes ? How shameful for a brand like Excelsior that this is how you send the food.

Have been a regular here for a fairly long time, and while their Japonaise cakes are wonderful, i can't help but mention their chocolate donuts which are absolutely fabulous and probably some of the best I've ever had in Bangalore! Filled with a solid quantity of chocolate cream, they're a good size and decently priced too. Definitely recommending 👍🏽

One of Bangalores oldest bakeries, supposed to be famous for their Japanese cake and apple cake Tried the Japanese, was more like crushed biscuits held together by creme. Around 12 you can get hot breads right from the oven. At 4pm we managed to get hot Dilpasands

Got brownies from here. But two days later, my son found a live bug (biscuit beetle) that was camouflaging with the crumbs. I took a video and shared it with them so they can ensure hygiene is maintained and perform some pest control. They said someone will come and collect the remaining brownies for lab testing. That never happened. We asked for a refund and they said, we only do that if complained within 24 hours. The customer service team was very rude rather than being apologetic. The Rs.1,000 isn't going to change my life. But this experience shows apathy towards quality control - both with their food and their customer care.

This place is worth 5stars but unfortunately while we packed the order that missed adding tissue paper and spoon even after checking due to which we had difficulties in eating it. Food: Fantastic is the word that I say for the taste. Since it was We tried chocolate cupcake which was unlike your regular cupcakes where the cream was brilliant 🤩 and the cake was good too. Best was pineapple cake which was airy, fluffy, spongy lite etc and the flavour was rightly balanced and it was really good. Finally it was that walnut brownie(they have eggless too) and I went bonkers after eating this in a good way🤤. It was extremely good and wanted to go for more, may be next time. At the store the next ones we felt like trying is sandwich, cakes and rolls. Must try place.

One of the worst outlets of theobrama that I have been to. There were 3 staff members. Not one of them bothered to look up to assist. Then I asked for 2 vada pav to be packed and then realize after billing they packed only one.

This bakery is located just near ub city and also to Starbucks.It is one of my favourite bakeries in Bangalore as it serves fancy and delicious desserts.I would recommend their walnut brownie and their pineapple cake which are absolutely heaven.Overall a great place for having desserts.

A little nice place, seating is very limited, if you go during peak hours, get ready to wait it out. That said, the brownies are good, some are a bit too sugary but manageable. We ordered a customised birthday cake for our son's 4rth birthday. The cake delivered was exactly what we asked for, the suggestion given by Aubree staff with regards to what flavour we must choose for toddlers was spot on. The cake was not overly sweet , using buttercream frosting as we requested instead of sugar fondant was kept in mind. Overall a super yummy delicious cake. Also we had requested cake delivery to the birthday venue which was taken care of with very minimal charges.

I tried their Tres leeches cake! Which is a very popular cake throughout Latin America. The taste was decent and not very sweet or sugary!! Not extraordinary is a very light cake with many air bubbles. They have a soggy consistency despite being soaked in a mixture of three types of milk.

A wonderful store with quality varieties of cakes, pastries and drinks. Loved whatever we ordered. Hot chocolate ordered was with 30% cocoa and it tasted wonderful. A nice ambience, good staff and a great location - right beside Trinity metro station. Price is also reasonable compared to many such places, for the taste and quality they provide.

I had been to the store to try out few cakes and pastries!! Due to lockdown only take away was available. We took a few cakes and pastries. Loved the Belgium truffle, and the chocolate truffle, it was delicious. Red chilli chocolates were tasty too. I have been using Lagomme for themed kids-birthday cake. They do a splendid job in bringing any kids birthday theme to life. You just give them an idea, and they will make it happen. The best thing is that they do not use a lot of fondant, which most of the other players in the market do. So, the cakes are healthy, yummy and also beautiful

I called Owais of Lagom Patisserie for a last minute order on a Sunday afternoon. He and his team went out of the way to accommodate my specific request and got the cake ready well in time. I had shared a reference design but left it to the baker's expertise to modify it as needed. However, the final result was far from what I expected—untidy, inconsistent, and not well-executed. Even after multiple revisions, the cake was delivered with the wrong flavor, despite my specific request. I'm unsure if there was a miscommunication or simply a lack of attention to detail, but these are basic aspects that should be clarified if any doubts arise. Given the premium price I paid for what wasn’t even a complex design, the mistakes were unacceptable. To add to the frustration, there was no basic courtesy of an apology from the team. While the cake tasted alright, the overall experience left much to be desired.

Butter side up delivered the best cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. The design was exactly like how i described to them. Their attention to detail on the cake and cookies is just commendable. Back in October 2022, I stumbled upon Butter Side Up while casually scrolling through Instagram. So far have got 2 cakes customized from them. And I loved both of them. I've ordered multiple stuff from here and never been disappointed, their red velvet cake is one of the best out there. And if you had to try ONE thing from this place, try their brownies. My personal favourite is the cookie crumble one. Aesthetically pleasing shop with lots of fun stuff to browse from like oven mits, recipe books, their own branded cups & packaged bakery goods etc. Only deducting a star due to their exorbitant pricing.

Theobroma is one of my got to places when it comes to desserts. I have always been fond of their fresh fruit cakes but for a change,this time I tried chocolate opium pastry (based on the looks and recommendation from one of the staffs). The pastry really looked beautiful with alternative chocolate cream and spongy layers of brown shades,which were clearly visible and the chocolate slab was like really icing on the cake. The taste was good, wasn’t too sweet but was heavy and rich with chocolate flavour due to the alternative chocolate layers. A perfect dessert for hardcore chocolate lovers. The ambiance’s good, spacious and has got decent number of tables. The place is well maintained, neat and clean. The staff is really helpful, they will try to help in the decision making process when you are too confused to decide a flavour/dessert. Had a great time visiting here.

Took a pastry and brownie for parcel. Both were spoiled. It felt like it was spoiled for many days. Edit 8th June: I had raised a complaint on the same day. The order got picked up and was taken back to Theobroma but I never received my refund. They said it would take 3-5 days. It has already been 8 days.

Ordered eggless pineapple cake from Swiggy. Cake was nice I would say above average, sweet was perfect nit too much, cake was evenly moist. Nicely delivered without any damage. Two issue I felt was it was bit hard also they did not write Happy Birthday on the cake as mentioned.

One of the classic dessert places of Bangalore. Affordable sundaes and taste good. Self- service place. Have a playground beside for the children to play. Recommended item: Truffle cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Tho recommended ice cream is Vanilla, but we asked them to change to Mocha which also tasted yummy and it was non-chargeable. Change of ice cream charge depends upon the flavor.

Can’t describe the taste enough, but this place was a must-try! Perfect for families and friends. If you’re new to Bangalore and looking for a quick dessert spot, Corner House is a great choice. DBC and Cake a Mocha are my suggestions. Mwah! And if you’re looking for a great outlet with perfect ambience, Corner House in Airlines is definitely the number one.

I visited Corner House expecting a sweet treat — but walked out with a bitter experience. The staff was rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional, showing no basic courtesy. What shocked me most was the discriminatory tone and lack of respect when interacting based on religious appearance or background. This is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone in a public food space. I’ve always loved Corner House for its desserts, but no amount of ice cream can cover cold-hearted behavior. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and trains their staff on basic human decency and equality. Until then, I won’t be returning — and I hope others think twice too.

Tried Corner House’s Death By Chocolate as a bucket-list experience; decadent but overwhelmingly rich and heavy. Worth a tick mark, but not something I’d revisit; the portion and intensity make it more of a challenge than a treat.

The quality and taste of the food and beverages were outstanding. The ambiance was wonderful, and the service was satisfactory. The freshly baked croissants, breads, and cakes were excellent. I tried the butter croissant, black forest cake, and pain au chocolat, all of which tasted great. However, the service could be quicker.

Bengaluru has gotten a premium cafe in the heart of the city housed in JW Marriot which has everything to mesmerize you and give an enriching experience. Recently revamped in terms of the structure as well as the menu, the ambience of the place is gorgeous. Coming to the menu, the menu is curated for all day meals right from morning through the evening, accompanied with Shisha from afternoon. It's difficult to say what's the highlight of the menu as there has been a crazy amount of effort gone into zeroing in every single item, be it the drinks, or all day breakfast/meals or even the desserts. Another USP of the place is the calmness it has the all day with very light music which amplifies with the evening time when it feels very like a happening place. I need to mention their extraordinary service which is very rare these days. They got us special drinks which were not part of the menu to sooth our throat as we were under the weather. Lastly, they got exclusive n customized gift hampers n lot of other fresh bakery and desserts for sale through which you can share the amazing experience with your family and friends too. A must try !!!

For the last 3 times that I have been here they don't seem to have a working tablet to add or redeem points to Bonvoy membership. Quite sure they don't know how to use it, always click a picture of the membership app page and never do anything about it. They need training and there shouldn't be any shame in owning up to it. The cafe has a LOT of work to do to reach Marriott standards like in other places.

Good place for desserts. They have a big menu with lota options. The place has white painted walls and fancy lights. Desserts here are Finger licking good! The pastries and cakes are so tasty, I enjoyed eating here a lot but I would like to point out that the cost is on the higher side. The staff is polite and friendly too. However there are very few vegetarian options, it mostly consists of non - vegetarian cakes/pastries. Otherwise this place is really good, recommended!

Has so many verities in small pieces. The main problem is with the parking space there is some space for 2 or 3 cars to park on the road side but there is a high chance of getting ticket.

After a long time had been to cakewalk !! My absolute favourite is cakewalk special and brandy bar. And oh boy, it tastes the same. The store is taken all the precautions of Covid. I noticed they have reduced the size of the items and probably a bit of price slash. The cakes and pastries are very good. And other gourmet items are good too. Again one of the very few good places in Bangalore for bakery products. A slightly warm Brandy bar is an absolute delight.

Regarding service, the staff are friendly and attentive, but sometimes slow or indifferent service. The rooftop seating adds a nice touch, though parking is limited for 2 wheelers and almost non existent for 4 wheelers. Overall, a great spot for bread lovers. It's excellent for casual dining, but expect to spend around ₹1000 for two.

We went in during brunch time and got hot chocolate and Eggs Benedict. The hot chocolate was really good and the eggs Benedict as well but the Benedict was served cold. The ambience was also very well maintained with the yellow and blue walls and the different accents given on the walls. The main thing they’ve to improve is their service - we were not attended for a while not served water or menu, no one came to take the order or bill and service of food was also delayed. Next time I would go in only if we have time to wait for the delay in service otherwise it’s worth the visit.

I really appreciated the presentation of the food, especially the crockery used for the pasta and steak, which featured their branding. The overall food quality was top-notch. Each dish was priced around ₹500, which is quite reasonable for the Indiranagar area. The staff were also friendly and welcoming.

My sibling brought me here, and I must say that this place has its own vibe in this happening side of Bengaluru. The indoor plants and the evening rain simply uplift the mood. We ordered the chicken lasagna and tandoori spiced chicken filled with scamorza cheese. The service was slow and this might test your patience. The lasagna came first and was simply delicious. The scamorza stuffed tandoori chicken was good, but the tandoori sauce was a bit on the sweeter side. Overall, it's a good place to spend your quality time.

I dont know how this place has a 5 star rating. Looks like they are paid reviews. I ordered a Nutella cheesecake jar and it was awful. It didn’t taste like Nutella at all — just bad. When I asked, the waiter showed me they’d used some random hazelnut spread instead of actual Nutella. That’s misleading. Nutella is a brand, not a generic term, and if you advertise it, you should use it. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and the dessert wasn’t even good.

A must try ice cream parlour I bangalore. Highly recommend the cheesecakes and DBC. Mango Matcha was also great. The aesthetic of the place is beautiful and service is awesome.

Well, I had heard a lot about this place and reached here to satiate my craving for red velvet cupcake. We ordered red velvet cupcake (regular and mini) and chocolate cupcake (regular and mini). Chocolate cupcakes were okay. Honestly, I have had better red velvet cupcakes, something was wrong with the cream, I suppose - I'm not saying it was not bad but it wasn't quite upto the mark! Good place to satisfy your sweet cravings! ☺

Sad place. Not worth the price they charge or the noise around it. From the looks of the pic, they make custom made cakes. In reality, they do not. Anyhow, they did promise me a nice colorful cake with nice big swirly lollies. In reality, the black forest was average, the lollies were small and thick. I refused the lollies straight away. The average cake cost me a ridiculous 1000 bucks for 1kg( which I was okay with initially, cause I was expecting something really good). They wrongly charged(which i realize only now) me for decoration(the lollies) and some more for packing/service charge@5%. When I took this up with the guy at the counter, he says they charge this for everyone and I am being charged for the cake box. Are you freaking kidding me!!?? When I insisted that I won't pay for this, he called up somebody and then returned me the cash. If the owners are reading this, have the courtesy to check my bill and refund the wrongly charged amount(lollies, never took them). Never going back there again. Over priced and average.

How did I miss this place? I have been around this area multiple times but i totally missed it until today! One of my friends suggested me to meet him here and this cute cozy corner offered wonderful coffee and we also tried their cakes which were too good! The affogato I had was just amazing! The service was quick and I will go here again to try other dishes in their menu and I highly recommend this cafe for a warm experience.

I came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The drinks were generally above average. But the cake wasn't just above average. It was really, really delicious! so I gave rate 5! Until now, it has not been easy to find delicious strawberry cakes in India, but we were very satisfied. Thank you for yummy cake! The interior was above average and I especially liked the high ceiling. There are many good books on the bookshelf, so it would be nice to come alone on the weekend and read a book over a piece of coffee and cake. oh The staff were very kind

Love the vibe of this place. It has a great ambience nothing over the top. They haven't cramped the place they had with tables everywhere, usually what most of the cafes resort to. It has an open feel + the restroom is massive. A very rare thing. They take time to get your order ready & that just goes out to show that they are serving you fresh food. Love their feta cheese. Just hope they increase the portion sizes.

I’ve cross this road hundred times and I saw the board of this place every time I passed by and I’m glad that finally I got the chance to binge here. Have to say this cafe ambience is so pretty and bright, love the colours and the decor. The service was top notch too. Was here for a snack and coffee and I tried their chicken sandwiches which was delicious..., drank cappuccino and I can’t go out without trying at least a dessert. The Oreo cheesecake cake is the best thing ever, it’s so good and delectable, you definitely have to try this if you love Oreos .

The cafe has a good, decent ambience and ideal for a cup of coffee or pastries. They have a good seating options with chairs or even sofas. Swings are another option along with the sofa giving you a comfortable feel. The service was alright but the choice of pastries were very less and was a bit dissapointed. It's not too expensive and is on par. The cheesecake was good so was the chocolate decadence. The scrambled egg pocket was good too and the cold coffee could have been better.

Nice bakery with lots of stuff. Tried their puffs, plum cakes and cookies. Plum cake is a little overpriced. But it has lots of ingredients and looks like premium cake slices. 4 cake pieces coat around 250rs. Per kg it's 900. The staff was also really welcoming and so patient. One of the OG bakeries in Bangalore. I visited them on weekend late morning. This quiet place on Rajaji Nagar (one of the old Bangalore habitat) Clean outlet with pro-hygiene staff. Staff is very polite. I tried 1. Veg puff - one of the best I had till date. This is very tricky dish snack. People often overpower it with onions and masalas. But here, puff was basic, light on spices , fluffy, balanced yet superb. 2. Butter and Cashew cookies - liked. But, I would have preferred slightly lesser sweet. 3. Plain cup cake - simply amazing ! Had freshly baked. 4. Walnut cake - blew my mind !! Balanced taste, each bite had crunchy walnuts.

Found this place on Zomato!! when we had a late night icecream craving..!!! Guess what ! they were running on 60% discount, almost got this icecream for just Rs.90 bucks, to my surprise the icecream was too good. The have added a soft sponge cake with cashews and some choco-chips to it. I really loved the cashews toppings and the sponge cake. Overall rating for delivery and packing and for richness of the icecream 5 stars ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️.

The most horrible branch of warmoven in Bengaluru. I humbly request everyone to avoid this branch. As you can see from the pictures I've added they've served me with burnt food but are openly denying the same and being very arrogant about it. This is not just about quality but a concern as this state they're apparently selling stale food as well which can impact health of a person. I urge that we close this branch of warmoven before anyone is infected with a sickness because of the current management's arogant attitude.

I wanted to give them private feedback on the awful shakes namely - death by chocolate thick shake and red velvet thick shake, Bottle cakes- chocolate cake in bottle & red velvet cake in bottle, but it seems they do everyhing via a centralised system, so it is unlikely to help in improving anything. Ordered via swiggy- cakes came without spoons so was very difficult to eat, children created mess and was like chocolate paste. Shakes were like sweet syrups .I did get a note from the chef asking for feedback, but without any contact information.

We had ordered their Vegan Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cake for a small celebration. It was absolutely decedent and a showstopper at the celebration! The 300g size was perfect for a party of three and the cake was also packed and delivered without disturbing the delicate frosting. It was a hit even among my non-vegan friends! They have absolutely nailed the frosting to cake ratio which most places struggle with. You could tell that the cake was rich and made with high quality ingredients. However , parking right opposite was not possible hence we went a little ahead , only I got down. The moment you get inside , you know you are in a place which has stood the test of time , proudly. There were so many options of bread , cookies and for that price - I wondered if I had time travelled. Picked up a flower shaped bread, an eclair, a custard cookie 🍪 & packet of macarons all for INR 78.

This is one of iconic bakeries in Bangalore. What I liked the most is they priced items in reasonable range. You get apple pie for 90Rs. Its one of few places that still makes it. They have variety of bakery items. I really enjoyed this place. If I had to say one negative thing about this place, it would be service. You have to stand for long time for the people to serve. But that's not a big deal.

Well used to go to this place in 2011-12 during my college days and stopped. But continued to get Home delivery very often in last few years thanks to Swiggy, because I love the food. Today we were in Koramangala and decided to go and dine in. Luckily we didn't need to wait for a table, got it as soon as walked in. Their menu is extensive, so had lots to choose from. Finally we decided to order their new addition friend tacos and their specialty XL burger and Mediterranean Chicken and my favourite from tonight's feast - their newly launched Burkish Delight (Hung curd, Burrata, chili oil accompanied with multi grain breads, this one is a must try. Good food, quick service & chill-out atmosphere, just perfect for a Saturday night dinner. Being there after almost 14 years was a very nostalgic moment!! Recommended!! 👍🏻

Visited for a late Sunday lunch. Had to wait couple of minutes for a table. Service is very fast, which is surprising for continental menu. Staff is helpful. Food tastes good but portion sizes are single serve. Personally I felt the prices are bit high. Ambience is cool. Metal chairs for seating. Space available in two floors. Air conditioned sections with limited seats available in both floors. Toilets available in both floors too but hand wash is in the ground floor only. Parking available for only 2-3 cars at the premises but valet parking available. Though majority of the crowd are youngsters but equally suited for families & kids.

Visited Truffles on weekday afternoon with family for lunch. The place was not crowded as it use to get during weekends. We got the table immediately. We were disappoted a bit with service because even without much crowd it took lot of time (almost 30 mins) to take order. Once we ordered the service was fast. As always the burger was really good. Juicy and crunchy. We had ordered American burger. For kid we order pinky pasta which was average. The Mediterranean chicken grill was good. Flavourful and tender. Overall experience was good. I would recommend to go on weekdays to avoid the crowd and enjoyed delicious burger.

Good burgers. Tried Choco Mocha Frappe, Jalapeno poppers, Tex Mex Chicken Burger, Frozen hazelnut cold coffee, Aglio-olio pasta and All American Cheese Burger. Loved everything except the pasta. The place was crowded but seat was available. The place has a good vibe to it. Parking is available for cars and bikes. Overall a good cafe

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Koramangala, Truffles is an absolute must-visit! From start to finish, the food was nothing short of amazing. Let’s talk about the freshly made potato chips – they are out of this world! Crispy, perfectly salted, and addictive, they’re a game-changer. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. If you're a fan of fries or chips, you need to try these. The bao was another standout dish. Soft, flavorful, and filled with the perfect balance of ingredients – it’s a must-have on the menu. I also tried their pastas, and I have to say, they were cooked to perfection. Rich, creamy, and absolutely satisfying. Whether you like it spicy or mild, there's something for everyone. To wash it all down, their shakes are top-notch! Thick, creamy, and indulgent – they’re the perfect way to complete a meal. Each sip was as good as the last. The ambiance of Truffles is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to return to try more from their menu. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. You won’t regret it!

It was a go to. Especially since I was at Christ University and it was pretty close by. The food here is definitely good. Taste was good no issues with that. Pricing is also reasonable, that's why I went here pretty often sometimes. Also used home delivery once through Zomato, ordered English breakfast, and OMG definitely loved it! It has scrambled eggs, chicken sausages, beans, fruit pieces.. it was good! And healthy too I'd say. Definitely a recommended place to try out. You won't regret the taste or pricing .

This place is located in an iconic spot with a fantastic ambiance, especially the outdoor coffee seating, which is excellent. We tried the blueberry cake and coffee. The blueberry cake was delicious and well-made, definitely worth trying. However, the coffee came pre-sweetened, which I didn't like, as any other coffee shops usually provide sugar separately for customization. Parking is very limited, and street parking is not an option, so plan accordingly. They accept card, UPI, and cash payments, making transactions convenient. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing coffee break, but I wish they let customers adjust the coffee sweetness to their preference.

Such a classic place on church street. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. Service is quite basic. The interior is dimly lit. Decent variety of coffee and food too. The fries are a classic and we always enjoy a good plate of it to munch on while catching up with family and friends. The pastas are quite good. The tiramisu was ok. We get better ones just down the road.

I had lunch at Matteo Café today and ordered the red sauce pasta along with a peach iced tea. The food and drink were quite good, and I appreciated the flavors. However, I was disappointed with the service. It felt like the staff weren’t very attentive or interested in providing a welcoming experience. A little more enthusiasm and attention to customers would go a long way in improving the overall dining experience.

I would recommend everyone to have the best pasta here it was so yummy and I was so sastified .. We try crossiant and paneer sandwich .

Please note: This review is for vegetarian food. The Matteo Coffea is a popular place and I really wanted to try it out. However, I believe, the hype is due to the low prices. There are not many options on the menu, especially for vegetarians. I ordered the veg burger without mayonnaise. The mayo was already mixed as coleslaw, so had to give us vegs also. Both my friends ordered paneer wrap. The wrap should come wrapped in paper or aluminium foil, because, with one bite, all filling in the wrap fell out from the other side. Since it happened for both my friends, I think the cafe should change the way wraps are served. Tiramisu was a straight up disappointment. The portion was huge but it was a bit chewy, not melt in the mouth you get at Diggin and Bigg Chill. Overall, a 3 star experience.

Service was best. I didnt liked much food. Mouuse blueberry cake was okay but fresh and good quality. Panner sandwich was also okay Affordable budget friendly prices. People come here too often for work and to have short meetings too. A go to place for many.

Matteo Coffea is one of my favorite cafés in Bengaluru! The vibe is super cozy and modern, perfect for coffee lovers and casual meetups. The coffee tastes rich and freshly brewed, and the pastries are always delicious — especially the cheesecake! The staff is friendly, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. A great spot to relax, read, or catch up with friends over a perfect cup of coffee.

I ordered a rasmalai cake from Shikha’s Le Gateau for my parents while they were in India for medical treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The team ensured everything went smoothly, with clear and prompt communication even though I was ordering from abroad. The cake looked amazing and brought a big smile to my parents’ faces. Shikha and her cakes are both so very nice. Every year for my daughter’s birthday i try out homebakers or someone who could help with customized cakes, by far Shikha has been both wonderful and professional. She knows how her product will fair and gives better suggestions based on our requirement. Literally it was the least time with Shikha i have spent to explain my order and confirm it. Delivery was on time and by polite staff which makes a big difference in Bengaluru. Before actually talking about the cake i really took time to talk about Shikha because that’s how nice i felt ordering from her as compared to other experiences with bakers i have had. I got a bento cake for car travel, chocotruffle flavors!! So deep so rich. It tasted just as fresh a day later. Shikha provided few fondant decors on the go if the ones already on the cake would deform due to travel. The second one was the fruit forest cake which was loved by everyone who got a bite. Its was a perfect for both our celebrations. Both cakes had harmless use of colours, subtle and leaving no imprints behind. Safe for kids. Once Shikha starts making entremet’s i think i wouldnt have to go to others for any dessert needs. 🥰😇😍

I’ve been ordering cakes from her for all the birthdays, and she has never once disappointed me. She always mentions there might be a slight difference from the design, but every time—bam! she delivers it exactly the same. Honestly, I’m at a loss for words. And the taste? Let’s not even go there, because just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I would highly recommend her any day
