Waiter was friendly and spoke English well. Menu available on tablet which was not offered to us initially. We were verbally informed of restaurant specials. Delightful atmosphere! Enjoyed the fish tacos. My husband enjoyed the beef special.

Ambiance: Mexican restaurant with beautiful views of the cruise ships/ocean with an upscale traditional/rustic style atmosphere. Their margaritas are large and hit the spot! The guacamole is a must order. We shared a few traditional Mexican meals - all were delicious! They offer free wi-fi and have an entire shop attached where you can get souvenirs and more. Friendly and fast service! Clean bathrooms and clean space. Great for tourists, families, and enjoying a nice meal in Cozumel.

Stopped by for Lunch. This place was recommended. Food, Drinks, and overall atmosphere was great. I took a few pics of some things I ordered. Beef Fajitas, and chicken enchiladas. Bathroom was the best smelling and cleanest I've been. When Im back in Cozumel with stop by again. A+++

I had a wonderful Mothers day meal here. The food was fresh, splendidly plated. The frozen lime margarita was refreshing on a hot day. The fried ice cream was yummy. You walk through shopping area to get to the restaurant . The staff at the shops really weren't pushy at all. The seating area is gorgeous with fountains and statues. Carlos was my waiter and we chatted for a while. I will definitely return.

This pace is a hidden gem. Came here because a local at a different restaurant said this place would be better. There was no lies detected!!!!! This place is beautiful! From the atmosphere to the look and feel of the place, just beautiful. The worker here are by far the nicest most sincere people on the island. The food was some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine you pups have and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I have come here 2 previous times while on cruises to Cozumel and loved the atmosphere and margaritas. Unfortunately, when we returned today, we were disappointed. Although the margaritas remained good and strong, the food quality declined significantly. Our chips were stale. The guacamole was tasteless and the salsa had no spice to it. My chicken fajitas were also bland and given the very expensive cost of everything, all the portions were very small. Come for the margaritas and the atmosphere and not the food. Very much for tourists only. The first question we were asked was what cruise ship we were on. Why should that matter?

The special today : beef taco was delicious and flavorful. Chilli sin carne is great for people under animal protein restrictions. The coffee flan with egg nog is so delicious. The restaurant has great ambience and the entertainment with local flavor is perfect.

If you like all your food to be super sweet then this place might suit you. But we like some sweet and some savory. The cauliflowers were sweet, the fish of the day was sooo sweet and buttery I thought my arteries would be clogged by the time I was done. The potatoes were okay. The corn was delicious. The only reason we went to this place was because we had such an amazing experience at its sister restaurant, kondesa. Which was amazing!!!!! Highly recommend the sister restaurant.

Went with three friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything... excellent cocktails and apps and the mains were to die for!! I had seared tuna, one friend had pork ribs, while another had a sampler menu that we all took part in.

You need to come here. This is 5 stars on all accounts The food is amazing. Wood fire oven pork ribs with Jamaica-agave glaze, rosemary potatoes, Yucatán salad with a side of fired roasted elote (corn) with 5 chili aioli, tamarind and sesame seeds. 😋 Cozumel is rather limited in food choices compared to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. I have only found a handful of places worth mentioning to friends (specifically only 2 others) until I came here. The service is amazing and attentive. It has a beautiful outdoor setting with trees and lights. It creates a great ambiance to enjoy a delicious meal. The prices were also not exorbitant as they can be for the same type of quality in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen. Come here. Get the ribs. Leave happy.

Thoughtful unique food that taste great and is good value for the price.  We tried the chef's degustation, octopus, skewered shrimp and a cocktail. All of the dishes were great and none disappointed.

Great food and service. The wood oven in the garden makes it cool. We took the tasting menu, which was tasty every bite. The meats were superb (pork belly and picana) as was the lobster flat bread. And also the cocktails were well balanced with sweet sour spicy and strong. I only recommend the staff to tidy up a bit more (empty wine bottles laying around, unused tables on a stack). Cocktails +-120p, 5 course menu 700p is reasonable price for this quality

My boyfriend and I came here for a romantic dinner while traveling with family. The food was presented beautifully, it tasted wonderful. The octopus was the first I've ever had that was really soft and not at all rubbery! Our service was exceptional, and when we brought back the family for New Year's Eve cocktails and dessert our server recognized us and stuck around to chat. You'd never guess from the outside what a beautiful garden the tables are in - it's so romantic and removed from the noise of the city. This is a beautiful spot and so reasonably priced for the quality of their food!

My favourite restaurant in all of Cozumel!!!! I'm a vegan, and this is not a vegan restaurant, but the chef created an amazing dish for me that was not on the menu. And every time I return he amazes me with a new and exciting creative meal made just for me. I wish they would add them to the menu. The place is amazing and the seating is mostly in their rear garden with wonderful decor and they usually have live music. On the one day that they didn't the manager Daniel sang a duet with me which was received with a thunderous ovation from the dining guests.

Often frequented by locals this is a Cozumel must visit ! This restaurant has been in the family for decades . The entire food is freshly prepared on placing the order. Highly recommend .

El Moro is a true Cozumel treasure. Our server Ray was attentive, funny, and super efficient—maybe because his parents own the place and were keeping an eye on him! 😄 But seriously, this is a warm, family-run restaurant where everyone pitches in, and it shows. My wife had the Chicken Tuculeño (pictured), and I had the Chicken Madrileña—both were absolutely delicious, authentic, and served in HUGE portions. This after starting with the garlic soup which was amazing. We were running late and decided to skip the start of the Seahawks game at home but the staff found it for us on their TV and even cheered along with us. Can’t recommend this place enough—great food, great people, and great atmosphere. Don’t miss it!

El Moro is a local restaurant that is away from the tourist district. The restaurant has great food and service. The menu has a wide assortment of island favorites. We enjoyed grilled shrimp kabobs and a chicken plate. Bring pesos to pay for your dining experience.

This family owned business serves delicious and authentic cuisine. Four of us had our meals & 2 drinks and it was about $100 usd. The owners/staff are VERY friendly and kind.

Best prices and food on the island but off the main road. They have been here over 60 years but won’t be much longer without your support. The co-owner Ray is without a doubt the hardest working person on the island. The Mayan coffee is a 30 minute experience and incredibly good

This place is great! I highly recommend either of the lobster dinners. The one photographed is Langosta Moro, but the best is Langosta al Gratin. It is lobster in a cheese and cream sauce, it's amazing! And huge! A great appetizer is the bacon wrapped shrimp, but it's not on the menu. The staff are amazing, super friendly, family owned and will do anything to make your meal great.

El Moro is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at on vacation, it’s so good, I’ve been back three times in two different trips to Cozumel. Two of the three times we came we just ordered the special, the first time it was the “fish in a packet” it was amazing, the second time they had some pulled pork with corn tortillas, pickled red onion and fresh lime and vinegar jalapeños. It was so amazing! We also got the cheese over beef soup, with rice. It was so good, incredible even! You can tell the staff and owners are foodies who love what they do! Come here every time you are in Cozumel, you won’t be disappointed.

Hidden gem. Delicious and fresh seafood. Loved the fried huachinango. Nice shrimp cocktail and tacos. Excellent service. Local and sober decoration but nice place. Great prices for the quality and portions.

The best local spot! We had a great experience dining at this place. We had fish & shrimp taco, ceviche, and catch of the day. They were all amazing!! This place also have the best horchata!

This place is a little bit out of the way from the main downtown area, which is a good thing in my opinion. I LOVED it & they do take major credit cards. I had an awesome Shrimp Cocktail to start with & freshly caught Grouper Fish Fillet grilled with garlic & seasonal vegetables. It was all GREAT & the same staff were very attentive & definitely care about what they are doing to please you. I would definitely go again & recommend it to all! Two thumbs up from me!

Definitely a stop if you are interested in sea food. This is a family run place with extremely flavorful meals. The menu is well curated and the service is top notch.

Amazing ceviche, I had octopus ceviche, my wife had lion fish ceviche, and my niece had shrimp ceviche. We all really enjoyed our meals. My friend had the coconut shrimp and it blew my mind how good it was. They make their guacamole fresh when you order it. My only criticism is that the tortilla chips were a little burnt, but that’s just me looking for something to criticize.

Let me start off by saying they let us come in before they officially opened and happily sat us down. We ordered a large shrimp ceviche to share and an order of rice, just to try it out. Glad we did. It was all delicious. The rice was really good. I am glad we decided to try it. The ceviche was a decent size to share for lunch. They bring out chips, limes, and picante with it. We tried to order lemonade, but they offered us a fresh cold coconut juice so we changed our minds on the lemonade. It was a solid choice. So cold and fresh with no pulp or any weird stuff. The staff here are very welcoming and speak good English. The restaurant appears to also be the home of some of the workers. I really liked the atmosphere of the place. It felt like a quiet place the locals enjoy.

Cute interior and friendly staff. The grilled fish was super delicious. The stuffed Avocado didn't really hit our taste with the shrimp being bathed in a creamy sauce. In our opinion it would habe tasted much better with more natural/garlic shrimp as the avocado brings its own valuable fats. However, it might be that the creamy version is a local one? Anyways we would still recommend the place

This place is exceptional, we went in here to shelter ourselves from the rain. I ordered the chicken mole but I recommend the pasta, and the protein salad. Also they have a variety of fresh desserts and the music and atmosphere earns this place another star

Just few blocks from the cruise terminal and one block away from Mega store. They have different options: burritos, tapas, burgers, pasta, salads as well as desserts. I ordered a blue cheeseburger. A bit heavy but really tasty. You can choose the ingredients for your burrito. Thanks for the amazing service.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The food was completely tasteless, and the drinks were just as bad — we couldn’t even finish them. To make things worse, the entire place had a strong smell, like a public restroom, which made it really hard to enjoy the meal. The service was also disappointing, with staff showing little interest in helping or making us feel welcome. Definitely not a place we would return to or recommend.

Great food. Excellent service. Vegetarian friendly, quick to accommodate vegan/plant based. One of the best on site vegan burgers ever. Portions are large, that includes the drinks, which were definitely fulled with liquor. We had vegetarian lasagna, veggie nachos, vegan burger, chicken wrap, mile high apple pie (packed with apples & vegan friendly), margareta, pinecolada, water, cranberry juice, guacamole. Great dessert selection. They are on site made too. Nice decore. Clean. English/Spanish. Highly recommend.

After our first visit, we were there every morning for breakfast unless we had a morning boat dive. The best menu for our breakfast and lunch!! I'm particular about eggs being thoroughly cooked, and the chef got them consistently done to perfection. Fresh fruit with each plate was a perfect addition to breakfast. Iced tea with fresh lime was our beverage of choice. Excellent, welcoming and accommodating service, impeccably clean restaurant, excellent menu and food presentation. I did not eat waffles/pancakes, but family members said they are excellent, and the syrup is incredible. It is a wonderful thing when traveling to find a place to eat that you know you'll have a great meal, no matter what you choose on the menu. Thank you to everyone at Rock 'n Java!! Already missing the food and hospitality, but this will be our go-to spot when we return to beautiful Cozumel. 💜

Superb! We went yesterday/Sunday ~4:30pm to try their Happy Hour: 2x1 drinks. Lovely wall murals, service is friendly & fast. Portions are huge & easily shareable. High speed wifi is available (ask your waiter for the pw) & they accept credit cards without extra charges (note: I find it strange & less likely I will return to the places that charge fees esp when places are charging close to US prices for meals). 1 small bathroom (toilet & sink) but they keep it clean, the restaurant was clean as well. • Bahama Mama & Long Island Ice Tea (190 pesos) - advertised as 22oz drink with 4 shots - both excellent • Steak & Eggs (230 pesos) - so good ❤ steak was juicy & tender, definitely go back to share this large plate again! • Large Tuna Salad (170 pesos) - the green salad was drier than I expected & the ranch was super thick.. maybe it's better with vinaigrette/italian dressing

Was busy for lunch so I was lucky to get a table. Good menu options especially with my favourite dish burrito. You can order with pork chicken or beef. Fresh guacamole sour cream and Pico de gallo sauce. A lot of Margherita cocktail. Little pricey the cocktail but very tasty. Waiter very friendly and fast service. Coffee too was very good. I'll be back

I ordered steak fajitas for 135 pesos ($6.51 USD). Before the meal came they brought soup, chips, black bean paste, and tortillas (my only potential complaint is they were cold not heated up like every other place I’ve been here in Mexico). They had a party of 10 arrive shortly after I did (and quickly pushed tables together and got them situated) but thankfully it did not affect my service eating alone and I normally forget to write reviews but wanted to say this was one of my favorite places I’ve eaten in Cozumel. Good prices, good service, and good food. Other places in Mexico tend to forget about me when I’m dining alone or prioritize larger groups so I appreciated that this place made me feel like I got the same treatment/service of a party or 2 or 10. Cash only or you have to do a bank transfer (I only asked because I like to know my options but I paid cash). Highly recommend when looking for a more local eating experience in Cozumel. Enjoy!

Such a gem of a place! The camarones de coco and dedos de pescado coco are amazing. All meals come with a free drink, soup, tortilla chips, frijoles, and salsas so you’re actually getting a whole meal. The staff are incredibly sweet and humble :)

Found this local food place from Google reviews and decided to try. Really impressive with the food and services. great meal with soup, tortillas chips, rice and A Drink! I wasn't understanding why I was being asked for drink a few times because i had my water. it was included, the lady spoke good English was very kind, the gentleman was very friendly and attentive taking care of me. I went back for the second evening in a row. Good: food, prices, services Might not for you: atmosphere like a food court, not in tourist area, they close at 6pm not really dinner time.

We had a delicious and very filling lunch: noodle soup and chips with black beans to start, and then one of us had a plate of fish filet a la Yucateca (with rice and a salad), while the other had a tampiqueña of grilled fish (with a cheese quesadilla, guacamole, a chicken mole enchilada, rice and a small salad), plus jamaica and tamarind agua fresca to drink. Everything was delicious and a great value, and we were especially glad the charming waiter had encouraged us to get the Yucatecan-style fish.

If you’re looking for healthy and fresh food on the island, this is the place! Everything was delicious, flavorful, and super fresh. The staff is also very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Healthy, fresh, and delicious food. I made the right choice coming here for breakfast. I ordered the green bowl and it exceeded my expectations. The preparation, presentation and quality was excellent. The menu has so many healthy delicious options to choose from so you will easily find something to satisfy your nutrition and make your taste buds smile at the same time : )

We have been here several times and every time impressions was different. My husband is not vegan, so he really liked caesar wrap with chicken (though on one day it was really juicy and there was lots of sauce, on other day it had almost no sauce and tasted dry). He also liked Mediterranean bowl. I liked it too, but Mexicano was also nice. Tofu scramble was poor, small portion, insipid taste. Vegan wrap is absolutely same as Mediterranean bowl, but they added MUCH more balsamic vinegar and wrapped the salad in tortillas ;(( Better try bowl! Vegan sandwich was poor too, I didn’t even eat it. In menu it says there is pesto sauce, but they put it like a DROP 🥲 of it, and it had rotten taste and smell. Then cheap bread, bunch of spinach, drops of mustard and a little bit avocado… I returned it. Be aware of rotten spinach leaves and lettuce. I tried Afrodisiaco juice, it was really good. If you look for quality and good taste definitely go to Nutty Treesome cafe in Downtown, those guys will treat you as best friends, and they care about quality of ingredients. You will find awesome sushi and best ever burgers, you’ll love it even if you’re not vegan!

Ate here a couple times while visiting Cozumel! They have a mini store attached to the restaurant that has all your handmade hygiene products, natural peanut butters and spices. The menu is fairly large with lots of options to pick from! The staff was nice, and the prices were decent. The smoothies are the best !

A great spot with a tonne of vegan options.

I was excited to find this spot but the hours on Google are incorrect. The hours on their door also seem to be incorrect as I came at 6:15pm one day and they were closed already (despite having 7pm close time on their door). Food wise they are a solid option for those with dietary restrictions (dairy free, gluten free, vegan). The juices are EXCELLENT and worth the price. The flavoring of the food during our first visit was lacking. We ordered the vegan quesadilla (which turned out to be tacos) and the avocado lovers toast. The next day we ordered a smoothie bowl (which made up for the previous day) and an omelette. Both options were tasty.

The greedy girl at the order desk expected a big tip before my order was produced. I waited 45 mins for a cold pizza they left on top of the oven and then didn’t cut it. They sprayed PAM all over it to make it seem fresh. Do yourself a favor and walk another block to get a locally made Za that is 10x better.

Pizza Hut in México! Daddy was super excited to try it and for 79 pesos who was I to stop him. While I personally didn’t try any bc I was too excited for Carnaval. He said it was ok, not quite American but not spicy. Did take off stars bc the worker tried to keep my change by saying that he didn’t have any change in the register to give me . 🙄😑

The food is beyond awful. The buffalo wings were slimming and undercooked and smothered in so much sauce I threw them out. My 2 orders of dessert were not in the delivered order and were Chedder Jalepeno French fries that I ended up trying and were so undercooked and just mushy. Thumbs down all the way for this place.

My daughter wanted pizza so that's what we got her. I came to Cozumel for food that I don't eat in the states. Anyways the pizza was good, except for the thin crust dough it just tasted a little different. We also got a deep dish I believe and that was good.

Pizza Hut has always been my favorite pizza and it is no different here in Mexico. You can expect the same quality here as you would receive in any other Pizza Hut. You will find some of the menu items are different than a Pizza Hut in another country but it is still great. The only downside is that this location gets very busy at times (which should tell you a lot), the result is service can be a little slow during those periods so have a little patience and enjoy.

Ordered pizza for delivery 5 times over the last 6 months. The pizza was only good once. Very skimpy on cheese and other toppings. The Cajeta dessert last night had the filling outside the dough and hard baked into the bottom of its box. Oh and the delivery driver had no cambio, ridiculous.

Tastes like home. Every though the resort is all inclusive and the food was good.. you just got to grab a Mexican Pizza Hut pizza if you get the chance. Like How often can you say that? We ordered a few larges and took them back to the hotel to eat.

Addy’s restaurant is a hidden gem. We were warmly welcomed and served. The breakfast was excellent (and very affordable). On top of that, the garden where you sit while eating is beautiful. We even saw a hummingbird during our meal – wow. Many thanks for the warm service and the delicious food, it’s definitely worth the trip.

My husband and I had breakfast here. The service and food was excellent! I also had a fresh juice from beets and green juice. So good! Highly recommend. Price was great, too!

This breakfast restaurant needs more recognition. The food tasted homemade and the service was incredibly friendly. First time trying huevos rancheros and I think this place did it justice. Although I might be biased here because it was my first time! The mini hot cakes is what sold me on coming here and as a Canadian, the maple syrup was perfect. This is the first place since being in Mexico where they served maple syrup instead of honey with my hot cakes. All around the place felt very authentic and the food was very homey. The prices were fair and a lot cheaper than any other breakfast places I’ve been to. My partner and I enjoyed ourselves and plan to be back again for breakfast.

Absolutely unreal little brunch spot. We came here on a whim, and ultimately spent the whole meal raving to each other about how much we were enjoying it. The garden patio is beautiful and tranquil, the service is SO quick, so friendly, and it’s clearly a well loved family business. Speaking of well loved, every dish is so very clearly prepared with love (both figuratively and literally), and tastes fresh and delicious to boot. Can’t recommend enough, and will definitely be coming back.

We had the most incredible breakfast and smoothies here in a quiet, beautiful courtyard respite a short walk from the pier in Cozumel. The hospitality was wonderful, the food and smoothies were delicious, and Addy's art is beautiful and makes the whole serene outdoor area shine. If you're making your way to Cozumel, take the time to get away from the crowded tourist traps and make your way here - you won't regret it!

5 stars for this lovely place ! Beautiful garden, very romantic. Nice outdoor seating. Breakfast until 2 pm. Food is amazing. Very friendly service and absolute fair pricing. I like the fresh fruit juices and the tasty coffee. Eggs, Hot Cakes, Veggie-Sandwiches, Omelettes and Huevos Motuleños ! The owner Addy and her daughter are doing a great Job !

Serene oasis to have a delicious breakfast or juice. Addy is a very gracious host and checks in on all her guests. Only note would be to sit under the roof or awnings so you don’t get a “surprise” from the iguanas above.

What a great time we had there after walking the port area. You will walk by this restaurant when you take a cruise on Carnival and it stops in Cozumel. Food was great, entertainment with a live band, alcohol, etc. we were able to feed the fish from our table on the pier. This is our go to place!

Right off the port, place is awesome. Typical raunchy/party place but the crew working makes it special. The Canteritos are awesome, best souvenir from the trip. Ceviche was also quite solid and was a great mix floor the amount of beer. Way better than Senor Frogs & Margharitaville.

The taste of guacamole and chips is unforgettable. The atmosphere and friendly staff are wonderful. So fun they made the guacamole at the table next to us. Definitely the place worth visiting especially if you enjoy the ocean view.

The atmosphere at this place was amazing. The staff was accommodating and kind. The price for what we got was ridiculous. 1 beer and 1 frozen drinks with tip $28.00. This is mainly because this is right outside the ships dock in the Porta Maya area. All prices for shops here are overly inflated because of the port. The same items down at Centro are half the cost. I enjoyed the view but that will not bring me back again.

Best place for drinks in Cozumel. Been coming here for 15 years. Beautiful ocean, coast and ship views, cool ocean breezes, cold drinks, fast happy talented service (Alex!!), great music, and so much fun.

We stopped at this little gem on our day trip to Cozumel. My husband and I ordered the bacon lobster rolls and they were delicious! We had amazing service and got our food quickly. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely stop again!

Absolutely perfecto! So fresh, perfectly cooked, and lots of savory goodness! The lobster was so soft and buttery and the steak (I had a surf n turf burrito) was also tasty. It’s a nice touch to brown a side of the burrito, adding a touch of crunch. This place checked all the boxes for all four of us, even though we all had something different. Super filling and worth every penny-speaking of which, the price was quite reasonable as well. The Chef deserves high praise-he takes pride in his creations with limited space, he manages a masterpiece. The owner was great fun as well, very gracious and even made my husband a nice drink to help with his hangover 😆. Ok, confession time-I don’t usually like lobster, but this place has completely changed my mind. Delicious!

Ordered the lobster roll & it was so good. Toasted warm roll with buttery hot lobster & hot sauce. Did not disappoint, so good I almost forgot to take a picture. Only half of the sandwich showing 😅

Excellent spot for a lobster roll. Owner is super friendly, and the food was amazing! We had the surf and turf roll, and shrimp with lobster roll and the meat was well-cooked, the rolls were fluffy and nicely toasted, and were appropriately buttery. Prices were VERY reasonable. We will definitely return!

The coconut margarita sign was the draw. And I'm glad since I've never had one before. It was great! Done diving early due to rough weather so finally had a chance to go and brought a big appetite which was good. I got the Lobster burrito and my buddy got the lobster, bacon roll. Both were huge, and stuffed full of lobstery goodness. If you want Michelin star reviews you probably won't get it here, but this place should be on a don't miss site somewhere for casual hand-helds, great drinks, friendly service and good prices. It's small inside and not very fancy, but there also tables outside so plenty of room.

My friend and I have been coming here year after year when we vacation in Cozumel. Our favorite local place to get a whole Fried Garlic Fish. The place is very clean, the servers are all very friendly and nice and the food is always excellent. We picked out our fish (4lb. Snapper). You chose how you want it prepared (we like it fried). You chose the seasoning, in our case I choose garlic. The chef does his magic, you order a few beers and enjoy LOL "life is good."

This is the place where locals eat! The portions were very generous and prices were reasonable. Everything was fresh, but the whole fried fish tasted dry, not juicy. All other dishes were good but could be a bit more flavorful

We can not recommend this place more for a really wonderful seafood dinner in Cozumel. It is not a touristy place and is full of locals. They know the best places to eat! Absolutely amazing food! They give you free chips and Pico to start. We had the medium mixed ceviche, and the 2 of us could have just ate that for supper! It was fabulous. We had the whole fried fish and the battered shrimp. They were both superb. The shrimp were huge, delicately breaded seasoned and cooked perfectly. You get to pick your own fish and choose how you want it cooked, we had it fried with garlic, it was also delicately breaded and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

You can order off the menu, but also ask about picking out your own fresh fish that they purchased at the market. Then they make it right away for you. It was great! They have great homemade chips as well. We each had a cocktail.

Hands down one the best places to eat in Cozumel. The coconut shrimp are absolutely amazing and can't wait to have them again.

Food was pretty decent and fresh tasting. It was like $50 for 3 people, drinks, and plenty of food. I wish the ceviche was cut into smaller pieces but no biggie because it tasted fresh. Fish was also fresh tasting. The rice plate had to much random food for my liking but it has good flavor.

This is the best seafood offering I’ve ever had in the world. Simply, because it is actual seafood and it is in astounding quantity that will satisfy your palate and leave you leaning back patting your stomach. You’re going to eat fish, lobster, squid, shrimp and all the good stuff from the sea. You do not want miss this place. It is bar none the best seafood in Cozumel, possibly in Mexico and the price is superb! Here’s a secret, the farther away you are from the touristy areas, the better everything is.

We are very disappointed. The servers were unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The food was okay but the portion was so little. I have never seen a plate with so little rice. I wish i could rate this higher but unfortunately this was a bad experience.

Very tasty and affordable tacos for Cozumel. The chicken burrito was delicious. We also had nachos and guacamole for 35 pesos. The piña con agua was soft and refreshing at the same time. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. If you're looking for a good place to eat, do not hesitate!

The Burger was just delicious. Very friendly people there and the view on the roof was very nice too. If you are looking for burgers in Cozumel-That is the way to go. 100%

On the first visit, I had a decent burger, not outstanding, but ok. Not bad for the price. The fries were a bit on a soggy side. The second visit was a disaster; mango smoothie was made from some artificial plastic bottle concentrate. The chicken fajitas tasted awful, especially the meat, which was not fresh at all. Burritos were below average. From my experience and other reviews it seems that the quality of food and drinks is highly inconsistent these days..

This small bar restaurant should be packed with patrons. Prices are great for the island, and the owner prepares dinners to order. Fish of the day is $9, shrimp $13. They have an entire menu of mojitos to choose from; which are all great. If you like cigars the owner is Cuban and can advise you as to which Cuban cigar you may enjoy. Try it and you will return!

My girlfriend and I went here several times during our time in Cozumel. They have several kinds of mojitos as well as a traditional mojito. All were amazing. Willy, the bartender, is super friendly and was a lot of fun to chat with. He even made us some of his custom mojitos that aren't on the menu! Really good Cuban sandwiches here also.

The staff was extremely friendly and spoke excellent English! The mojito was absolutely superb, and the food was pretty good as well. If I had the time and money I'd probably be here for happy hour most days.

UPDATE: things have changed since the last time we were on the island three years ago. The atmosphere here has changed and the menu is considerably different. Instead of planing classic Cuban music they were playing American Pop the night we went. It was also much more empty than I remember it being on the same weeknight. The menu is now all Cuban sandwiches, which were quite good but it's not what we go there for. Cuban sandwiches are what I would compare to tex-mex. Cuban, but with a heavy American influence. The Mojitos were still pretty good but we're not served with a sugar cane as before. I think the flavors were also much more limited. Usually this is a place we stop more than once when on the island but with the changes it's getting downgraded to just one stop. END UPDATE Great food and a great atmosphere! The prices are very reasonable and the staff are great! Definitely worth the stop.

Supercozy place with really good mojito, service and nice staff

Of course they have awesome mojitos with lots of tasty variations, also try the fried pork appy they are very tasty, Cuban sandwiches are good too. Nothing dissapointed.

We were surprised to have such a good pasta: really al dente! It are basic italian dishes alfredo, cacio e pepe,…: then your cooking has to be really good to have a good experience, which was the case! The atuna tartare was not special: too large pieces. Tables inside are not cosy, outside sitting is ok. Wines are expensive but good. We went back during our stay because we were satisfied.

Eating Italian when in Mexico seems wrong, especially when in an island like Cozumel. But, after sadly learning that none of the other restaurants at the Intercontinental served any fresh local fish, we decided to give Alfredo Di Roma a try and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Host Marlene was friendly and welcoming, the crissini were crispy, the focaccia authentic and José Ramon offered spectacular service, including asking the chef for a variation of their signature risotto to include local shrimp. It turned out excellent! Eating here became the surprise culinary highlight of our stay. Make sure to take a good look at the XXL wine list, too and maybe try a Mexican (sparkling) wine. The signature Pasta Alfredo dish was very close to the Roman version created for American visitors.

We dined here twice had four dishes and found the food quite good service excellent. Don't listen to these one star complainers here this is a mid-price Italian restaurant of good quality. I recommend the arugula salad the rigatoni and the fresh fish. The only quibble found was the tomato sauce on the rigatoni was a little salty.

Pretty average Italian food at very premium prices. Not bad exactly, just lacking in the magic that usually comes with simple Italian fare. There are several excellent italian places a short drive away in Cozumel town that are literally half the price and serve better food. Service was good but felt very by the book, not particularly personal.

For the love of God do not go here, everything is microwave food where they taste level that is less than banquet brand frozen meals. The salt level is so strong it hurts to eat. It is very very obvious there’s no cooking going on in the kitchen. The waiters are super nice but they know it’s bad because they don’t look you in the eye when they set the plates down nor when they take them back to throw them away uneaten. They don’t even ask you if it was good because they already know. We ordered the lasagna, salmon, eggplant and had maybe 1-2 bites of each. Forgot to add - the Mexican and Mediterranean places at the hotel are fortunately both pretty solid but this place is no good.

Well, I was torn to go or not to go as there’re either very good or very poor reviews. So I took the risk (and probably shouldn’t have). We’re guests at the Intercontinental for 10 days and tried all their restaurants, the Italian wants to be the upper class one but they aren’t. The whole service felt artificial, not authentic. The reason might be that we’re in Mexico and not Italy or at least Europe. The same probably happens for 80% of Mexican restaurants in Europe. But we’ve been there for the food but unfortunately this didn’t convince either. Quality of food (and we’ve chosen rather simple Italian dishes) is average, definitely not worth the price tag. We’re Swiss and have some awesome Italian restaurants in our country and we’re close to Italy and also know the originals very well - what we’ve seen here is not close at all to a good Italian restaurant. Maybe it’s enough for US tourists but it will disappoint Europeans who value a good Italian restaurant. Anyway, we tried (assumed) and know now 🙃

This was the best restaurant I ate at while in Cozumel. It's located inside a hotel and a little far from the downtown but the food is totally worth the trip. I recommend the calamari, eggplant parmesan and the salmon. The service was excellent, it was a very romantic place to spend an evening. Amazing Italian food!

Excellent place for seafood! This restaurant is tucked away from the tourist area of Cozumel, but worth the trip! The food is always on point. The empanadas are fantastic, and huge! The ceviche is very good, and my favorite dish is the Minerva tostada which is a mixture of shrimp and octopus, piled with avocado with a delicious spicy sauce! They also serve beer and liquor. They accept credit cards, but charge a 4% fee.

Very good seafood. We came here twice in one week. If they didn’t only open at lunch, we’d probably be here even more times. What we ordered: grilled octopus, Minerva cerviche (mix of shrimp and fried octopus in a spice cerviche sauce, and gobernador tacos. The octopus and cerviche were the winning dishes. So good. El Pezcozon is airy and spacious with plenty of seating.

Highly recommended to us but didn't quite live up to the hype. Ordered Ceviche mixto and the octopus and shrimp were still pretty tough and hard to bite through as if they hadn't set enough in the like juice. Ticket came out pricey for the area as we paid over a $100 for 4 people. (Some dishes $25+ each) I'd say best things about restaurant was the sauces (garlicy salsa, and a sweeter salsa were fantastic!) and the wait staff was very friendly and responsive.

YOU MUST GET THE MINERVA!! My favorite dish in the world, and consistently good every time. Especially good for divers after a morning of diving. 10/10 recommend. Also the best michelada I’ve found so far on the island.

Absolutely incredible food!! Everything looked delicious so we way over-ordered so we could try everything and it was heaven!! We got lobster empanadas, they were amazing, seafood soup, it was wonderful, shrimp al ajillo, so yummy, and a fish with onions, peppers and garlic butter, OMG.

Apparently. The frio drinks don't contain any coffee. It's just flavored ice and syrup. Very disappointing. My husband told me the chocolate Italiano has zero coffee. So. We won't be back. Guess will have to go to Starbucks. Too bad. I liked the drinks but not gonna have the calories with zero coffee.

I was really glad to have 2 espressos with panna this morning in this bright and quiet cafe, away from the touristic crowds. They kindly ground coffee beans for me when I asked to purchase ½ a kg, and it was a pleasure to receive the bag still warm and fragrant. They seem to serve quite a variety of hot and cold drinks and the cakes looked good too.

Great place to take a break from the Mexican Sun and get some air conditioning. Coffee is really good too.

Great frappes for a reasonable price! Air conditioned indoor or shaded outdoor seating. This place is farther away from all the touristy crowded area of downtown but worth the walk!

Friendly service and good speed WiFi but coffee is really bad. I went there just to have a proper Italian espresso but they have no idea how to make it. Pastries are a no match to anything Italian and they should rename the place to something more local.

Ordered the iced coffee with my own cup. Was expected a black coffee, when I reached home, it’s with milk.. but this looks and tastes more milk than a coffee…

This was our last stop on the other side of the island drive. Amazing views with super cool laid back vibe. We got snacks(onion rings,fries and tacos) all very good. There are two very entertaining parrots Tequila and Chimichanga. They also have other birds and roosters roaming around. Definitely worth the climb up the stairs. $4 beers and all the food very reasonable.

This is a really great little restaurant. Placed high on a cliff overlooking the sea, this is a beautiful place to eat. We ordered some esquedillas and tacos with beers, all tasting really nice. Prices are a bit high but considering this is one of the few places on the east coast with decent food, its all right. Service is fine and you can also meet Tequila, the local parrot 🦜 I recommend this restaurant for the view and for the atmosphere.

Over-hyped. For all of the recommendations we were given and saw, it was kind of a let down for us. If you’ve been to a restaurant on the beach, you’ve probably seen one like this. The view is incredible, but there are only a few tables that can actually see the view. Those tables also have a nice breeze. The others do not. No frozen drinks to help cool you off. The guacamole was good, but the tacos were laughable. We also felt it was extremely overpriced. We had guacamole, three orders of the shrimp tacos you see pictured, a shrimp quesadilla, and 2 beers, and it was $95 before tip. The tacos and quesadilla did come with a tablespoon of rice hiding under the shells on the plate in the picture.

One of the best spots in Cozumel to enjoy a few drinks and some authentic Mexican cuisine. Situated on a cliff above the ocean and out of the rat race in the city. About a 30 minute drive from the port but well worth the drive. You can pub crawl with a few others in the area that are a short drive away. Service and drinks always excellent and love the chips and salsa.

A wonderful find out on the east side of the island. Part bar part nature sanctuary it’s a great place to have a beer while looking out over the ocean. If sexual innuendos upset you though you may want to find somewhere else to hang out. The service was great and the beer was nice and cold. Worth the drive to the other side of the island especially if you are sick of the noise in the “big” city.

We've been to a Señor Frogs before in Panama City but this place takes it to 3 levels higher. I've never had so much fun at a dining restaurant. The host, owner, waiter, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and give us the best time possible. We had so much entertainment and enthusiasm coming at us from the time we walked in, I didn't even have a chance to take any pictures! An absolute must visit while in Cozumel.

I came here because we were on the cruise ship and it docked in Cozumel Mexico. Best place to be at. I had an amazing time with my husband and we met new friends. I can't wait to go back again. I got the mango drink in those funnel cups. The service people there were super sweet and nice.

Tourist ripoff!! Cruise ship passengers don’t fall for this. There are much better restaurants nearby. Senior Frogs Beware! Maybe our fault for not asking how much beforehand but…We sat down and ask for a Coke Zero and a Margarita. They served them but the Margarita was $23 (left) and the Coke Zero was $7 (right) so $30 for these! Still in shock 😳! We are never fans of the ridiculous souvenir cups/glasses anywhere. We were going to dine here but lessons learned!!! We always dine a few blocks away but the restaurants were open yet so opted for this place. Never again!

If you’re taking a cruise and stopping in Cozumel, there’s a nice little area to jump in the water right outside of senior frogs

Happened upon this place around 10am (2 hours after docking.) The music was loud, but for the most part the restaurant was pretty empty - it filled up by the time we had left around 11:30am. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were two clowns that gave different balloon animals to EVERY person in there and was accepting donations. Fun idea to add to the party atmosphere! The barstools are funny and they make it look like everyone has on bikinis lol. This restaurant is heavy on the drinking and offered us shots and even gave away free shots for answering music trivia questions right. When giving the shots, they blow whistles excessively, shake your head around and bounce your chest around. For those reasons, not a great family place. Felt like a Dick’s Last Resort for those you have been there before. Overall, fun vibes and was the most fun we had in Cozumel!

Amazing beach club with zero entry fee—don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Our cab driver tried to steer us toward an all-inclusive spot, claiming there was a fee here, but we trusted our gut and headed to the Money Bar. Glad we did. The water is crystal clear and sargassum-free, perfect for snorkeling or just a swim. The vibe is super chill, with both tables and lounge chairs available, and even though it was lively, it never felt overcrowded. Shoutout to Pino, our server—he was absolutely on point the entire time, keeping our drinks coming without us even having to ask. Not sure why others have complained about service, because ours was excellent from start to finish. All in all, a perfect place to unwind by the water. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure what to expect at first as I've heard The Money Bar had a bad rap but this was where we boarded our snorkeling trip. The restaurant is like a large open gazebo type place with bar and amazing food. Food was expensive but portions are large and one can use the facilities to swim/ snorkel, shower and use the restrooms. There are lounging chairs and umbrellas as well. Menu has a wide range of food choices, along with drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The rocky beach at both sides of the restaurant are public. The restaurant has a small dock which Top Cozumel Tours company uses for its boat tours. Great to take the tour (we booked through Viator) and have a meal, swim/snorkel, and then change at the Money Bar. The service was wonderful and people were super friendly. Enrique was very attentive and friendly. Bb Easy to hail a taxi here if going back to the ferry ports or anywhere on the island. The Money Bar and Top Cozumel Tours are highly recommended!!! 👌

Like others said, extreme unprofessional waiters, pushing for tips and lie in your face. Refuse to call a taxi and lie in your face said he did call. Also lie about taxi fair price range. Other employee such as hosts are very nice and kind, would help you get taxi. This place has shower and restroom, you can also cook your catch/fish here for 200 peso per fillet. It will come with fry and chip, chip on the other hand is really good! lol Be ware of strange service, 90 peso for water and they do not tell you when you ask they just bring it. Also double check your receipt they double charge water for me 180 peso for water...can you believe it..... It seems every thing is outdoor no ac. I believe both dollar and peso are accepted here. As for credit cards I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND you to use it here.

This place definitely lives up to its name! It would be a great place to hang out with friends! The food and drinks are very pricey, though, even for breakfast. The snorkeling right off the shore is great! There’s a nice little raised beach area over to the side with free loungers and umbrellas.

If I were solely rating the food and location, I would give 5 stars; however, unfortunately, the service didn’t meet that same level of standard. Let’s start with the pros: the location is stunning! There is a beautiful patio where you can dine right in front of the ocean. Want to take a dip? No problem—there’s a staircase into the water where many people swim and snorkel, and it’s very clear (no seaweed!). There are also a few beach beds for you to relax and soak up the sun. While it’s not an actual beach, the area they’ve recreated with sand and beach chairs works well. The food was delicious—we ordered the grilled red snapper and it was big enough to feed two people. Where things took a downturn was the service. They had a two-for-one offer running, and our group of four ordered Aperol spritzes. Instead of bringing one drink per person (and the second round later), they brought eight all at once. Not only did that feel excessive and wasteful, but the drinks were watered down. I’d much rather pay full price for a well-made cocktail than compromise on quality for the sake of a deal. What made the experience worse was the server’s insistence that we leave a 30% tip, despite the lackluster service. My message to the management of this lovely establishment is to be more conscious of the small details that can impact the overall guest experience. The setting and food are wonderful—but the service should enhance, not detract from, the experience.

We came to Cozumel on cruise. Didn't have our snorkel gear with us, so stopped at Money Bar to rent gear and snorkel reef. Great location to snorkel, but the gear was not good at all. So great place to snorkel but bring your own gear. Staff was very attentive.

We stopped to take pictures here. The two people seated in the shade never even spoke to us. But after taking a few pictures and seeing empty chairs we thought we would sit in what looked like an playground. The two people sitting in the shade approached us with a menu and asked if we would order from the restaurant, we were shocked because there was no restaurant, just a single swing and two empty tables. We said no to food and we're told the area was for people who wanted to order. We would have tipped kindness understanding the hustle but demanding we order or leave results in our saying bye bye babe!

Kimberly was super sweet and a great server! We had some really nice conversation with her about Cozumel, and how our weather in Atlanta wasn’t as nice as here…lol. The drinks were great. We’ll come back to say hello next year!:)

Whenever we are out of the country, Hooters never fails to come through viewing our hometown football games. They were so busy on football Sunday and they did a great job on service. The food was great! Their bbq pork nachos were great! Thanks again and we will be back this Sunday for some more football and drinks!

The food is awesome, we ate in hooters in many different cities and never a complain but in this location they had a promo, waitresses said nothing about it and we got to know when leaving the place, they had a sign outside but not visible for us. In the end we asked to the manager about it, to get the beer jar and he just said that we had to be informed somehow of their promos and if we didn’t asked for it from the begging it was not valid for us which is just bad management. It costed probably not so much for them but made a difference for us. We are definitely not coming back.

Close to the port so has the tourist feel but no problems there. Great friendly service and great food/drinks. Ronaldo made good recommendations (fish was very fresh). They have some spicy salsa too. And to top it off great view and lovely 80s/90s music. Youll like the Music too.

We spent one night in Cozumel to fly out from there and ended up at The Thirsty Cougar two days in a row. Great music and the view of the ocean is lovely. Food & drinks were great. Ivan took care of us both times. He was a fun and attentive server! He recommended the blackened fish and it did not disappoint. I would request Ivan again. Very memorable place to visit, enjoyed the vibes!

I have been coming here every year for at least 15 years. Everyone loves the giant frozen margaritas; and they are delicious in all sorts of real fruit flavors. My favorite is the Cadillac on the rocks though. The ceviche is hands down the best I have ever had. It’s so fresh and expertly cut for the best ceviche you will ever eat. The chips are addictive and the guacamole is so creamy. The views are some of the best along the main road and the prices are very reasonable.

Right across the water with a great views and drinks to match! Their drinks are a production, look and taste great (and they cost so too) It’s our 2nd time there and we love going there for a special treat. Their nachos were good too, a small portion, but great!

Incredible vibes, even better margaritas. We had the blended peanut butter and iced avocado margaritas made by Carlos, and I can honestly say they were the best margaritas i’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

Whenever I go to a Hard Rock Cafe, I have the Twisted Mac and Cheese. I had a really bad experience in Playa, so I asked the waiter if the Mac and Cheese they serve was the one advertised on the menu. After many back and forth with 2 different waiters and the manager, we were finally told that they served a very different version of what is on the menu. So, I browsed the menu to choose something else for dinner. Turns out, they also didn’t have what I wanted (bbq ribs). They also didn’t have what my mom wanted. Before browsing the menu again, we asked if anything other meals were not available. Turns out the waiter had forgot to mention that a lot of options on the menu were not available. He should have told before we started browsing the menu. Very disappointing experience again. Hard Rock should close their Playa and Cozumel restaurants as they do not offer the Hard Rock experience at all.

Every time we take a cruise and port in Cozumel, we walk to the Hard Rock Cafe , which is maybe a 5-10 min walk. The manager and staff are always great as we went last year and this year , same sweet and funny staff. We love Hard Rock Nachos, they're a must stop any time we go. The manager Gilmer Peluche Soberanis will take photos with you and he's very friendly and fun! Don't snooze on the chance to visit the Hard Rock in Cozumel.

The barbeque chicken was "finger licking" good. The shrimp was a little spicy and crispy even in the sauce. The fries were nice and golden with a nice outer crisp. The food was pretty good. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs.

This place is like another home in Cozumel. It’s only a few minutes walk from cruise port, since my first visit, the staff was and yet have been very welcoming and friendly. I visited here frequently with friends, crew, solo and always had the best mood, service & rock playlist, big thanks to Gilmer for his funky-mex attitude on table. I personally love beefy nachos here with extra guacamole on side and highly recommend y’all for it. BBQ Burgers are heaven! For the drinks of course some classic Hurricane or Long Island Ice Tea but then the nicest manager Arturo - puts on the first round of fire shots of tequila right on. Overall I spent some classy moments here with friends and staff, lot of memories from this place and people! Surely visiting again!

First time to Mexico, what a fantastic experience. The ENTIRE staff were amazing and accommodating. It was our honeymoon and they took care of us. EVERYONE made sure we had a good time and spectacular photo ops.100% would recommend to anyone and everyone 10/10 5/5 ⭐

We came to eat dinner and I ordered a steak, I was told they had no steak so the waiter suggested fajitas but I didn't want that. I ended up eating a meal I didn't really enjoy rather than try to find another restaurant. I also wanted to purchase a hurricane glass as I do when I visit any HR...no glasses for sale! Not much at all in the way of merch. Overall a high 2 bit that was bc of the eait staff.

Our meal was good, not great, as was the service. My wife had the mahi mahi, which had good flavor but was overcooked. The same with my pork chop. Service was polite but slow. There was a high energy band playing when we arrived but they wrapped it up at 8pm, which was helpful for dinner conversation. The location on the water is a plus. There are a lot of bad restaurants near the port, this is a good one, but not memorable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free and corn-free. My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling. Blue Angle has a vegan menu with 12 dishes to choose from 👍🏻 🌮But at the staff at Blu Angle was very helpful and made vegan tacos for me, even though it wasn't at the menu. The waitress was english speaking and very help and made sure she was right about all my special need by asking in the kitchen 👍🏻 🚫🌾 I made sure that the tacos was gluten-free. The burritos were not gluten-free‼️ If you are eating 100% Medical Medium style, then keep in mind that the tacos are made out of corn flour. Corn is a Medical Medium troublemaker food level 2. At Blue Angel, the tacos weren't double as they most often are, which decreased my corn intake 👍🏻 The tacos came with onions, red bell pepper, carrots, mushrooms and fresh romaine salad on top. It was served with guacamole, pico de gallo and homemade green salsa. It was very delicious, though the green salsa wasn't spicy at all. I'll rate the meal 5⭐ it was beautiful presented, came with guacamole and pico de gallo, and tased great. My family shared a molcajete to share, served with tacos, and a mango scrim salad. All meals was delicious and worthy of 5⭐, and the sunset was very pretty and right in from of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and right on spot when we needed them. But they were too fast to take our plates out even though not all of us had finished eating. That left my husband as the only one with a plate, and when he stopped eating for a second to talk to the rest of us, the staff immediately asked if they could take his plate. I gave us a feeling as if they wanted us to leave the restaurant, even though the restaurant was only half full and we ate our food pretty fast. This is why I can only rate the staff 3⭐ and the overall experience 4⭐. Mahi mahi French style was life changing. Great views. Friendly server. We had a female server but there was a male that helped us too. He was great!!! Best food of our trip!! Also got messy shrimp, it was great

What a beautiful location. Good fast service, with delicious food. The ceviche was delicious, but tasted like pico de gallo with steamed shrimp. The shrimp was not marinated. Still delicious! The chicken quesadilla was also very tasty. It had a good bit of chicken and the cheese was pouring out of it. The quesadilla came with pico, a small side of really good guacamole, and some creama. The lemonade with soda was one of the best on the island. Not as big as other places, but the citrus flavor was on point! The location was great. Beautiful views and there is an Oxxo right out front to get anything you need on the way back to wherever you’re staying. We ending up returning to the blue angel to have another fabulous meal. The shrimp risotto was the best dish so far of the trip. We also caught another beautiful sunset on their deck.

El Palomar is a little away from the ferry terminal but not too far. We happened to find it closer to our parking. Food was excellent, atmosphere is fantastic and staff was very friendly. Their tacos (all), tres leches and most other dishes were delicious.

Love love LOVE this place. And all the girls who work there are sweet and attentive. Romantic, languid atmosphere is incomparable, and seafood & mushrooms super-fresh. Best cappuccino on the island for my taste! And the Hemingway vibe cannot be beat. Truly inspirational place . Breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour or dinner , i'm often (weirdly) the only one in the joint. This place should be PACKED--but i am glad it's not.

We visited this place for dinner, I got fish tacos and my husband got tacos with meet. Also we ordered guacamole. Service was fast and the waiter was super friendly. He changed our table cause there were some birds sleeping on the tree and they were popping on the table 😅 those birds were so cute. Also the restaurant has one cat who is constantly looking for food and for love. He was also cute. We really liked the food, and the friendly environment. Highly recommend it :)

Wonderful service, absolutely fantastic food! The only problem there occurred was that we had two people with allergies at the table. One tomato, and one avocado. Both were served their foods that they are allergic to. Would have absolutely been five stars if it wasn't for that but they should be more careful. There were only 3 of us. One ate a large portion of the food he was allergic to and the other one had to send her food back once, and did not want to do it a second time. Other than that, such a wonderful experience and fantastic food! The service was 100% on point other than that

Food is great! The walk is only a few minutes from the Royal Caribbean pier. Service is really good. Prices are a little high, tourist prices for sure, not local pricing so do not expect it. We paid $48 USD for 4 plates.

Stopped off here to grab a bite from a cruise. Priced for tourist as it was expensive. Ordered some fish tacos, some fajitas, and 2 cokes. The cokes were not cold as they did not have any in the fridge. Tacos were dressed with a spicy mayo and a good amount of cabbage slaw. The fajitas were okay, I ordered for steak but somehow got shrimp. It was only one lady working that day so I decided not to send it back. It was nice sitting by the water and enjoying a meal.

We have been coming to Cozumel for many years. We discovered paprika’s restaurant probably about Seven or eight years ago. It has become a tradition for us to have our first and usually one of our last meals at paprika’s. We love the open air atmosphere. The staff is awesome. Some of the best nachos, margaritas and fish tacos on the island.

There were six of us who enjoyed an early dinner in March 2024. A small menu, but a nice range of choices, including drinks and desserts if you want. The chicken and fish were top notch. Great service and great cooking. Generous portions. Open air seating . Nothing fancy.

The Gucamolito is a huge portion, well seasoned and topped off with grated cheese and toasted pumpkin seeds. The Mariscado is filled with fresh seafood. The broth is very flavorful. The fajitas were almost enough for two. The surroundings are definitely an island vibe and the service is great! The lime coconut margarita is very tasty!

El Billy is a place to feast on a platter of grilled meats. The sampler barbecue platter is said to serve two people. We had plenty left over. The platter contained grilled pork, chicken, chorizo, pork ribs, a grilled onion, rice, a potato, and slaw. The meat was juicy, seasoned, and tender. The service was excellent. The servers explained our options and made recommendations. It was an enjoyable lunch.

Food was absolutely amazing! Some of the best grilled meat I have ever had! So delicious. We ordered a platter, which is enough food for at least 4 people. There was no way we could finish it. We asked to take it to go but only the meat portions and the rice were actually packed up. We half the spaghetti, half an onion, half a potato and some tortillas didn't get into the bag.

A very unique place, like a Texas BBQ joint with the sight and aroma of mesquite smoke filling the open air facility. Not many tables, but not real busy when we arrived. A huge BBQ flat grill is very present and many meats are on it. Ribs, Chorizo, Chicken, Pork. Very flavorful and very delicious. They also serve a Frijoles Charro bean soup that is probably the best that I've tasted on the island. We had the sampler platter of all the meats and still had enough to take home. For around 35USD. Very filling and Good cooked BBQ. Except for the large speaker blasting out Techno at 9+ volume, it's a definite go to place.

You know it’s gotta be pretty good when the cops eat there. Great barbecue on street side, excellent music out front in the afternoon, and the portions were very good for the price. I thought the chicken was a little dry, but I might’ve been there at the wrong time of day, because I think they do a great business. I had a very leisurely mid afternoon lunch at a table in the shade and a group came in behind me and ordered a variety platter, based on the owners recommendation, and it had a bit of everything, it was ginormous. Very bad experience. We had two drinks and when I closed my tab, the staff simply invented his own rate, so he could charge me some more dollars for a drink. I still argued with him trying to bring him back to reality, but he stood on his behavior and told me Pesos have different rate in their bar, they even tried to intimidate me: "Aquí el cambio es diferente"...Their bar has their own currency rate? Really?? Ok, do your scam, I can come here and let people know. This is not a business, stay away of this place if you're a tourist. We're staying in the island for a few days and this is the only place that we will never step foot again.

The place is good to go dance but the workers are not we got kicked out because someone was fighting and the couple came to ask for help and one very rude girl was screaming at my lady when we was just there to dance and spent money 💰 so be really careful before you go inside of this place was a horrible experience 💔 do not go there tourist people!!

Very convenient location, live salsa band but they don't start until 11:30! The DJ will play a variety, including salsa beforehand. We went early so there was no cover charge. I got the feeling that they really wanted us to consume a lot, the service was good, attentive, but he seemed a little pushy about having us order drinks more frequently for the 3 hours we were there. Definitely not a spot for early birds looking for music.

Wow! You will not go hungry here unlike Smash Burger! The burgers are made on charcoal BBQ. There is lots of flavour and good portion sizes. The onion rings are huge and actually have white onions in them. One serving is enough for two people. We also tried the chorizo and it was so flavourful with a beautiful dipping sauce and small salad. Great and friendly service We will be back! We are glad we found them again!

We went in the evening there to have dinner and everything went smoothly. The waiters are really friendly and were in a good mood. They made us feel welcomed. The food was also really tasty and the lemonade was also really good. We had nothing to complain about! The restaurant is nothing fancy... quite simple actually. But it gives you the feeling of eating something more local and not necessarily totally made only for tourists... We would recommend!

I had just finished a day of scuba diving, and I was famished. I treated myself to a double burger with mushrooms and bacon. Oh my god, it was so satisfying. The chefs were hilarious, and the wait staff turned on a huge pedestal fan because it was still warm inside from the day. I would definitely go again… I keep dreaming of that burger

This place was recommended to my wife and me by friends. Now I am recommending it to all. The guacamole was fresh. The Shrimp Cocktail was huge (get the medium) and super floral with a tremendous amount of t of shrimp. I had shrimp tacos and the wife had chicken tacos and they were outstanding! The green salsa has some great heat but not overly hot, more flavorful. We will definitely put this on our list to visit the next time we are in Cozumel.

Don't miss this hidden gem! Their grilled shrimp taco is awesome! The fish taco and stewed octopus are also very good. The price is slightly more expensive than the other diners but the portion is biggg! I got at least ten shrimps on my taco. So it's definitely worth it! Visited here twice during my stay.

this place is mediocre at best. I ordered a coke and three tacos (arrachero, shawarma, pastor). It took almost an hour for two of my tacos to arrive then 15 minutes later, my pastor taco arrived separately. Three tacos and a coke was a 90 minute outting. The tortillas were okay, a little doughey, and there are definitely better tacos on the island. I was unimpressed. the cheese they upsell you on, isnt great either. I will say out of all three tacos the pastor was the best. And they had the soccer game on with audio if thats your interest!

Absolutely amazing, food, atmosphere & customer service. It’s a small family establishment, with nice decor. Everything was very clean and well kept. Menu was in Spanish/English. The owner ( I believe) spoke very good English. Chicken Fajitas & beef tacos, 2 (large) flavored waters was only $320 pesos about $16 US. All food was delicious & flavored waters were so good, Pineapple & hibiscus! We loved it & will definitely come back.

Everything you want when you leave the tourist area by the port in Cozumel. The food here is absolute grilled perfection. The arracherra tacos are tender, with a simple seasoning and come with a big pile of grilled onion. The plate is accompanied by 5 house made tortillas, and a set of 3 salsas, plus limes. I added guacamole. All that plus 2 Tecates for about what you’d pay for a chips and gauc closer to town. I’ll definitely come back.

Awesome Mexican grill! Very good friendly service, always happy and usually busy which is always good. Try the cactus they put on your table, it's amazing and super good for you. The Tacos al Pastor are really delicious. We've visited a few times this week already!

This place is so chill and mellow! Just what I was looking for. Service and food is excellent! Beautiful setting, reggae music playing over the speakers, but not too loud. Coffee is great, donuts are tasty. If you’re a vegetarian, the veggie omelette is amazing! Highly recommended!

Hungry family of four looking for a hamburger place after crossing from playa del carmen; this spot was conveniently located near our AirBnB, has good reviews on google. Honestly hamburger was slightly above average. Positives is that they use quality beef and burger was “slightly above average.” The fries portioned per plate were a bit small. Example, my wife ordered an order of onion rings, and got 3 rings (which cost $70 per order)). Overall maybe not dissapointed, but wouldnt be my first choice for my next burger. 4 Burgers 2 Shakes 1 soda 1 water Total $1,080.00

Waited 45 minutes for an order that should have taken 10. Then they messed up our order and brought the one other table there our food. Over an hour later we walk back to our hotel with still the wrong order. How can you mess up two burgers and a hot dog this badly? Hot dog fell apart immediately. Gross.

Don't go, it's not worth it. Burger was below average (didn't get sick or anything but it was just not a good burger). Not even cheap. The burger in the Westin restaurant next door isn't even more expensive but better and 100x more beautiful location next to the sea were you don't smell like a frying kitchen afterwards

Everything was burnt, dry and over done. The shake was only milk. Fries were too salty. Should've known as we could smell the charcoal coming from the place as we waited over 45 mins for food we had to throw away.

This place was really dirty. The staff don't wear gloves when they prepare the food. The place is full of flies and the counters are covered in dirt. I visibly saw them drop the cups and utensils on the floor then pick it up and use it for my milkshake. Didn't feel comfortable eating the food.

We hopped in here while staying at El Cozumeleno. The food was just what we needed. We ordered a few burgers and a few hot dogs. We overwhelmed the employee a bit because we went in with a group of 8, but he did a great job at getting our food to us in a timely manner. Would recommend for a decent burger and milkshake.

The place was so dirty I couldn’t even eat my food. Bugs crawling around, flies, literal dirt on the tables, even the paper towels were crusty and stained. They gave us an unwrapped straw off the ground. I saw the cook drop cup lids on the floor and pick them up and put them back instead of throwing them away. Disgusting

Delicious food, nice place to sit and enjoy the beach...the water is shallow but good enough to cool off. The parking is free and the restaurant has showers and outdoor massage.

We normally go to Anemona De Mar next door, but thought we'd give this place a try. After a number of name and owner changes, it's now called Virgin Beach Club. We never really got a chance to try the food and drinks there because it has nothing close to the comforts of Anemona De Mar. True. Many places in Mexico don't have toilet seats, but this place was a bit more " rustic" than we prefer. After we decided to not stay at this beach club, they then charged us each one dollar per person after we peed in their little outhouse. And with that we decided to never bother them again and had a great day at Anemona De Mar next door.

We spent several hours here, enjoyed some drinks and lunch, then took a snorkeling tour. Everything was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and very attentive. The beach here is flat and calm, so our kids really enjoyed it. Our guide on the snorkeling tour (which was free, only for tips) was very knowledgeable and showed us many reef fish, sting rays, lobsters, star fish, and more. Unlike many of the beach clubs, this one had no charge for entry or chairs/umbrellas, so even though the food was a little pricey (which you expect at punta sur anyway) we still walked away spending less than I expected. They also had paddle boards available at no charge, which was a nice little bonus.

Hands down my family's FAVORITE burger place. Seriously tasty burgers, coupled with the ever so rare, crispy French fries! I also want to mention they use fresh Angus beef, and not those frozen pre-formed patties. To top it off, you eat your meal on picnic tables right on the ocean. Sneaky tip: No parking? Park across the street in the Mega supermarket parking lot and walk over. Wheelchair access... Nope, the eating area is comprised of about 5 picnic tables on a large expanse of gravel.

What a great experience this was. A good quality burger and fries while looking at the ocean. What's not to like. Excellent service. 100 % recommend.

We have eaten here several times. The food is comparative to other Taco places on the Island, sort of middle of the road quality. The loaded potato can be delicious when the potato is cooked which can be hit or miss. Vampiro Picana is the best choice on the menu in my opinion, tasty and juicy.

Sides of rosemary potato and veg mix were fantastic. We were given a consumme of shrimp broth that was delicious. Hosts were very tentative and informative. Total bill with drinks was under $150usd and had enough leftovers for another meal. A definite recommend. We will be back!!

All I can guess is we had staff that were getting trained and have never worked in a restaurant for Christmas Eve. Horrible waiter, food took forever, dry/cold/tough food when we got it and wished I had left like half of the people in the restaurant. I could only chew about half part of one rib. Dowsed with Sweet-baby Ray’s bbq sauce from Walmart. Couldn’t wait to get out of there but it took 20 minutes to get the check. Mostly because they didn’t know the prices of the food or drinks.

Found this gem a block from where we are staying. The service was great . Good energy some guy's were even dancing to the music. The menu was not in English but our server Matty explained the menu very well . We had the ribs . There were two portions of fall off the bone amazing ribs featuring sweet baby Ray's sauce. They are not licensed for alcohol but offer many other beverages. They share the space with Torinos pizza which I plan to try next time we go . Google maps shows a image of what was in that area before which was a little confusing but other reviews show up to date pics.

They just let my food sit there cooling off. Then today, I’m the only person here, and it’s still been over 20 mins and counting. It’s fast food. This is the worst location.
