Love this place. They have really tasty good food. It’s one of my fav spots in Peniscola.

The place was really nice. Really local and typical dishes. All the menu was in Spanish and waiters didn't seem to speak English. But they were kind and the food was delicious. I recommend this place if you want to feel a great vibe. Also, they don't call you to come to eat in there place.

The food was quite nice however I think the reviews are overrated. The staff were rushing around, which is nice that you are a popular restaurant, but as a result it didn’t have a nice feeling to the service. A waitress knocked into my menu on the table and instead of apologising, said that I should keep my menu closer. Unfortunately there are tonnes of mosquitos, unlike the other places we went to. I guess that can’t be helped but make sure you wear anti mosquito spray! They forgot one of our waters and the music was too loud- and it was a radio with adverts every ten minutes. Wouldn’t go back sadly !

La pulpería is in my experience some of the best seafood on offer in the area. You can't beat the price especially for the quality on offer. Be sure to arrive early especially during peak season as it's always on high demand. Keep in mind that they don't take reservations but in person they will take names for a waiting list.

THE BEST restaurant in Peñíscola!! We spent 3 months in Peñíscola and discovered the Mandarina Club very soon after our arrival. It immediately became our fave restaurant and we made it a weekly lunch spot. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent location (the castle and ocean views!!)! Everything on the menu is amazing, but we enjoyed the Japanese fusion items the most! We are so happy to have been able to enjoy The Mandarina Club during our stay. Please note my food experience here was limited to visiting the restaurant during the chanclas y tapas competition 2019, and trying the waiter's favorite tapas option. The tapas dish was ok. While enjoyable, it did not have the wow factor of the competition. Friendly service, and the location being on the water, gave the best view across the water towards the beach.

We came here for a tapas event. Food = excellent. Atmosphere and views = incredible. Service - needs work. We waited at the entrance for a waiter who was right there, he ignored us. So we went to the bar to ask where we could sit, he then pushed me and said I was in the way, then walked away without asking what we needed. He was nice when he asked for our order later, but then when we asked a question he was super rude again and walked away without answering.

We learnt how to paddlesurf and got a tour by paddlesurfing all around the castle with our guide. It was spectacular and they taught us well and very patiently. The free photos sent to our whatsapp and free drink consumption at the entredosaguas bar was priceless. Great experience overall!

The prices are about the same as for 'national brands' and half what I've been charged in a craft emporium in a large town in Spain. The staff and clientele are both friendly. Every time I've been there I've been offered something to eat. It can get busy, weekend lunchtimes in the summer. Most of the people that go there are Spanish but its also popular with tourists. 2021 Update:- This is just stunning. It's all about the beer which is mainly Spanglish. The IPA is out of this world. The stout is stunning. The Lola is lager as lager should be. The staff are charming. The place has a great ambience. Don't take my word for it. Try it now. You wont be disappointed.
