Lovely, cosy local restaurant, which seems to attract a lot of the locals as well, more so than travellers, which is usually a great sign, meaning that the food is authentic. The schnitzels here were fantastic, good size, great batter and both the pepper and mushroom sauce were super flavourful, of course accompanied by some locals beers this was a real treat. Lovely staff as well!

Great food, service and atmosphere! They led us to the back of the restaurant, a paved garden with gorgeous gazebos and fairy lights as the sun began to set. Had the garlic escargots, schnitzel with pepper sauce, turkey breast with mushroom sauce (super flexible as that should have been with a mustard sauce), potatoes cooked to perfection and a fresh season salad. The wines recommended were excellent. Definitely a lovely spot to dine, in this charming German town! :)

We visited Am Kipp yesterday with my mom and sister, and we were absolutely blown away! The food was incredible – we had schnitzel with pepper sauce and a fresh salad, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Portions were generous, and we left with happy, full stomachs. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lively and cheerful – yes, it’s a bit loud, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely make a reservation, as the place is usually packed. And the draft beer was just perfect! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Okay. This will be a hard review... we went to La Becasse after hearing many positive recommendations from some colleagues. A special occasion, so why not? 🤔 We tried the evening menu. The staff was tremendously kind and gave us a warm welcome. All was well up to this point. 😊 The food was great. We tried a three and four course menu since I wanted to try the oysters, which were offered as a starter. I will leave the oysters aside for the moment. 🦪 The soup we selected as a starter was amazing, with mini mushrooms and a mix of Asian flavors. And so was the main dish: a fish with a beurre blanc sauce and yuzu delighted us. 😋 The selection of cheese 🧀 as dessert was a dream. Up to 20 different types of cheese together. Maybe it was the occasion, an unfortunate situation, or just bad luck, but the oysters sent us to the hospital two days later. 🤢🏥 Yes, this is a risk of eating oysters, which I accept, although I have tried them in many other places without major concerns. Because of this experience, I need to take one star off. ⭐⭐⭐️⭐ Maybe next time we will have better luck. 🤞 #OysterExperience

Great fine dining experience with a lot of details. One of two Michelin star restaurants in Aachen.

6 course dinner. Food, service and atmosphere all on point. Great sommelier too. Mashed potatoes sound like a simple thing but here they execute it to perfection. You can go to two and three star places too but you'll rarely have the all-in experience you can have here. Mind blowing!

Everything around food was absolutely delicious. They are a fine gourmet diner. Everything about the food and kitchen is excellent. I would recommend to get a vegetarian menu by itself. The service was great , friendly but not outstanding for a michelin restaurant. They can improve with matching wine and serving plates at the same time and with letting you know what your eating. (Slower and correct explanation) it becomes only 3 stars for the atmosphere because the decoration is really old school and even a bit cheesy. The windows with the seahorses and the images with a huge haven and james bond could use a little 2025 remake !

At the level of it's one 🌟 Michelin! Careful service and precise recommendation. The wines (in glass) were fitting perfectly. Product of high quality, exact cooking and breathtaking presentations. Not cheap of course, but the price of excellence I suppose!

It's a fast food place with typical sausages from Germany. The idea is cool and the result is good also. The place, when the weather is not nice to use the terrace is not especially big and you will need to wait for a table to get free. The staff sometimes don't speak perfect English but enough to help you with any doubts you can have about the food. So, in short, a good option for a tourist stop, rest and recharge batteries.

We really enjoyed our visit! The sausages were delicious especially the blood sausages, which were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous and satisfying. The place has a great vibe, with a laid-back. Self-service setup that works well. Even the toilet was clean and thoughtfully maintained….always a nice surprise. All in all, a great spot. We’d love to come back!

Location is very close to Rathaus, a place with constant circulation, reservations may be needed on saturday. we tried fatteh, schish tawook menu,falafel and schwarma. schish tawook was normal but we liked the other theee a lot. prices were also very reasonable for these flavors. it is a place we will go again.

This is one of the busiest and budget friendly restaurants very close to Aachener dom(cathedral). The restaurant is continuously buzzing with takeaways where people are standing in long lines to get their orders. I dined in this great restaurant. The location is great with its proximity to the cathedral and the prime location in the old town area. You will definitely be surprised after seeing the menu and the prices given the location of the restaurant. The food was served hot and quick. The service was also really fast given the number of takeaway orders being processed. The dishes were also authentic Lebanese cuisine and one cannot complain about the taste. I had fagita veggie and falafel menu. Both of the dishes were really delicious. For drinks, fresh pressed orange juice is strongly recommended. I would definitely recommend the restaurant if you are in aachen and visiting the cathedral or strolling around the old town. It is accessible by public transport and is difficult to find parking given the area and it is a pedestrian zone. Happy eating🤤

I recently visited a Lebanese restaurant in Aachen, Germany, and despite it being quite busy, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The atmosphere is authentically Arabic, complemented by traditional Arabic music, creating a truly enjoyable dining experience.

I highlight the grilled lamb (kebab), very tasty and well done, also the selection of beer was one of my favourite in German, but the sauces and dips… we expected better quality, too much liquid and samosas, fries and rolls too greasy. Nice place to go for Lebanese food but average quality. Acceptable price.

We ordered knefe and we were very disappointed. It could be anything but Knefe 😅. I would not serve this to even my enemy. This is my third time here and only once I found the Falfal good, thier shawrma and grill are not good. But again, THIS IS NOT KNEFE!!!

Probably one of the best Lebanese food places in Aachen. The food tastes great and the grilled vegetables in the sandwiches is awesome - a highly recommended spot. The place is a bit cramped and have outgrown their popularity. There's recently new space next-door but the ordering area is still way too narrow. two stars down for asking for tips on the card processing machine

A visit after some time veryfied a constantly high standard. A great evening with perfect food and a personal and courtous service in a great ambience. It's always a great pleasure to be here. My recommendation is the Zabaione Speciale. You just can't go wrong with it.

The menu was a little bit dated, for example, penne salmon and vodka is a dish from the 1980s... but I liked what I tasted! I had Penne with gorgonzola and dried tomatoes, a Tartufo Averna and a small beer. I appreciated everything and the bill, 20.50 € in total, was absolutely fair. A mention on the dining room staff who were kind, professional, attentive… really flawless! Highly recommended!

The food was fine, good quality for what you pay. However, a hair was in my food so I kindly told the waitress. She took the pasta back to the kitchen. Eventually she came back with the same plate of pasta and the hair separate on a little plate. She told me that the hair could not be from their own kitchen staff, so it must be mine. Mind you, I don't even have brown curls. I thought this was very weird but I just said: oh okay, it must be mine then. After that, the whole vibe changed. We were neglected the rest of the night, even though it is such a small restaurant. Furthermore, we ordered tiramisu for dessert. They told us they were out of that for the night so we ordered something different. Later we saw a couple order dessert and guess what: they did get to order tiramisu? I don't know why we were treated like this, as we were kind and this restaurant has so many good reviews.

In my opinion the best burger place in Aachen. The place gives you 50' American Diner vibes and it suits very well with the food. Also I love the cars in the wall. Food quality is very good and the portions as well. They also have Vegetarian friendly menus. This time got Sancho Pancho burger and I recommend it. For side, wedges I think is the best option. Highly recommend !!!

A must try. More than once. We visited this place in mid week to have lunch. The place was not croudy. Atmosphere is really nice, the theme is automotive 1960 70 like, boxing era. Something really nice and intersting. Then came the burgers: the bun is top, the patty is amazing, the added ingredients combination is awesome. You have the option to build your own burger. I tried a pulled pork burger and the international one. Both have distinct flavors, you can easly taste evrythi g in the burger. Not too much sauce, not too much cheese. Everything was well done and well assembled. The servixe was remarkably fast. I would only suggest to add more beer variations. No pkayground for kids, houwever the place seems kids friendly.

We had two super nice burgers, international and sancho pancho with some local beers. They offer a lot of variety options! Nice crispy fries (we had curly and french fries). The decor inside looks great! Would definitely recommend.

Ambience and layout is especially good. The food took very long to arrive, which was understandable as the place was quite full. The Leinwände that came down when it started raining were very cool too.

When I came to this restaurant, I saw that the first waiter was very nice and communicative. The other was not or maybe she can't speak English. The menu was also in Germany, so I can't fully understand since there is no wifi to translate or communicate with the waiters. Beside, the vibe and taste of the dishes overcome everything. They have a nice and beautiful outdoor garden with many flowers and colourful chairs. Also the exterior design was magnificent. When you come into the building, they also have a medieval era interior design. Moreover, as an Asian who doesn't eat burgers often, I love the burger so much. It was tasty and the price also affordable, good job 👍🏻 I recommend you to improve the service and give the menu in the English version. Providing wifi for customers is also a good way to improve the service. Overall, this restaurant is recommended to be visited

Such a bad service for such a beautiful atmosphere. I was the one suggesting the place to my friends and got extremely disappointed. Don’t suggest this place until they change their behaviour. The food was good. But arrived late and some orders were missing.

Lovely restaurant that served one of the best burger and fries I’ve ever had (the dish is called Italian burger if I’m correct). The burger bun’s texture was very different from the usual ones, should definitely try it!

Great place for all you can eat brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Great selection of Mediterranean salads, finger food and dips. Reservation is advisable as it gets very busy even though they have many tables. For dinner the vegetarian options are unfortunately very limited but I liked them and my friends were also very happy with their non-vegetarian meals. Prices are not extremely cheap in comparison to other places in the area but still very reasonable. Staff was always friendly and the atmosphere is great. In the summer you can sit outside in the garden and there is also a heated space on the patio in the winter.

Loved their ambiance. They have a very pretty open place in their back. Their smoking zone is a bit on the corner, so the smoke does not bother. Moreover their stuffs were very nice and friendly. have ordered quite a few items, some were brilliant, and some of them had average taste. For the starter we had, spinach salad: it was good, it has a peanut sauce dreesing, which was blended really nice with spinach. Dim Sum: I loved this one. Highly recommend 🤌 pad thai noodles: did not like it that much. Taste was a little bland I will not recommend this particular dish. Lost monk: This one was a platter of flavor. This dish has a good portion of proteinprawn, beef, chicken, and mashroom with lots of vegetables. But this one is a little spicy. As i love spicy, I highly recommend this one. Best friend curry: This one was a wholesome dish. 3/4 types of fish, cooked in coconut milk. Swet and sloght tangy taste. Also, I recommend this one. Except for the pad thai, i loved all other items, and i will, of course, visit again ❤️

I've been here a bunch of times and the sushi dishes have always been very tasty. My favourites would be the Mango Maki and Spicy Salmon Inside Out Roll. The ambience and the service is great as well. I would definitely recommend!

This is one of the best sushi places you will ever find. And I mean like worldwide, including Japan. This is place offers special dishes like Best Friend's rolls and Fried Inside outs, which you will miss everywhere else you go. Price/value wise, you will not find anything comparable, unless you are looking for a cheap-quality rolling sushi buffet, which this place is definitely not. For those who don't like sushi or raw stuff, there is also a pletora of awesome cooked dishes like curries, the classical Lost Monk, or Sara Sake salmon with teriyaki sauce. Enjoy your meal!

The place is amazing and it offers wide variety of japanese cuisines. Food was fresh and delicious!! The yakitori skewers and the vegetarian buddha plate is highly recommended. I am so happy to visit it and though I came to Aachen for a short period, I am definitely gonna visit best friends again before I leave the city;)

we’ve been there twice and have been waiting for over 30 minutes to get a waitress coming to the table, there’s little option for vegetarians and it’s quite crowded and noisy in there. Location in the city is good though. Sushi lovers seem to like it, other options are soups, fried rice and noodles soso taste Food is too salty and fatty

One of the best food experiences in my entire life! Originally ordered without desert but decided otherwise over the Wagyu and asked for the full set - was no problem and one of the best decisions ever :D Wine pairing strongly recommended! This is an incredible experience of food! ⭐ Served by warm welcoming waiters it's a fantastic lunch. Not many options are offered, which makes the food even more tasty and an explosion of flavours. 🍲 You'll have the most regional food and drinks of the specific season. However, be aware of the prices before you book the table. Heavily damaged by the floods it's currently building up again.

We ate here twice and both times the food was excellent. The pork knuckle was juicy and full of flavor, and the sausages were just as tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A couple of downsides: the toilet was quite dirty both times, definitely needs more attention. Also, payment can be tricky. Tourists, be prepared: not all cards are accepted, so have cash with you just in case (see my photo for more info). Portions are well balanced for the price, and the authentic interior adds to the charm. We’d still love to come back for the food and atmosphere!

I really loved the interior design of the place. The serving is quite large so we shared our food. I'm looking for a little bit more flavor with the food but overall the meat was soft and tender. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. The catch for payment is they so not accept Visa or MasterCard. Be prepared to have cash or a giocard, v pay or maestro cards.

It was my first time at the restaurant, and it was a good experience. However, when I was paying the bill, I was in for a surprise. They don't accept credit cards or debit cards from other countries. I live in Belgium and went for a visit. Okay, I had some cash; the bill came to €86, and I was only €6 short. They didn't give me an option to pay the rest. I offered a bank transfer, all my cards, and nothing. They simply said there was nothing they could do. I left my wife and my kid at the restaurant and tried to withdraw money, but to no avail. Seeing my difficulty, they really didn't give me an option, because of the €6 bill. I had to go to a supermarket and ask a customer who would pay the bill in cash to give me the amount, so I could pay with my Belgian card. That was the only way I could get the remaining €6. I returned to the restaurant, paid the 6 euros, rescued my wife and daughter, and left. It was a complete lack of empathy. However, there was a small sign at the entrance warning that they didn't accept credit cards. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention.

It’s been 30 years since I last came here. The Pork knuckle tastes the same as 30 years ago which is excellent. The Schnitzel was also good. Two of us paid €52 for food and drinks. A good place to start to learn about German cuisine. Highly recommended.

We’re from the southwest US and love German cuisine. This is our first visit to Germany and this restaurant is a true gem! My partner and I especially like sauerbraten and the dinner we enjoyed at Aachener Brauhaus was absolutely amazing, served with cabbage and gnocchis. The beef was so tender that it could easily be cut with a fork and melted in our mouths with a wonderful sauce. Of course German beer is known around the globe for its purity and flavor, so I enjoyed a great dunkel while she had an outstanding weissbier. Excuse the superlatives but our meals were just that good.

Fantastic authentic German cuisine - I ate here with my son and we both really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere within the Brauhaus. If we are back in Aachen we will be sure to visit again

We had a lovely dining experience on 21 April. The cozy, traditional German interior created a nice atmosphere. The food was authentic and delicious, with good beer recommendation. A special thanks to the friendly lady who took our order, she patiently explained the menu to us in English, which we really appreciated. Overall, we felt very welcome and well taken care of.

We tried the baked camembert, schnitzel, and Nuremberg sausages – everything was really tasty and well-prepared. The beer was great, too, and the whole place had a warm, authentic local atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you want a proper regional experience.

A fantastic dining experience in the center square of Aachen. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The Madagascar schnitzel was very delicious, as was the side of saurkraut. The tomato soup was pulpy, creamy and sweet. All around an excellent time!

Loved the place. Highly recommended if you want to have a true german lunch. Schnitzel well executed: uniform thickness and crispy outside. Pepper sauce dresses the meat very well, and it’s even better to dip your french fries. Tomato soup and the salad were pretty good as well - very refreshing! One thing I would like to point out is that the men’s bathroom had a strong pee smell… I don’t know how clean are German bathrooms, but definitively a point to take care of. So 4/5 stars to the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly! Overall, very nice experience. Would go back again!

Stellar service. Pizza was a bit on the salty side (maybe it is just my preference), however, the orange duck ravioli had very minimal flavour of the actual duck. Food overall is slightly disappointing.

I’ve passed this restaurant many times and assumed it was like the pasta/macaroni restaurants in the USA. I was very pleasantly surprised to see such beautiful decor and enjoy one of the best authentic Italian pizzas that I have ever had, including those I’ve had in Italy. The table of 8+ people next to us were all enjoying the pasta. I heard them tell the waitress how pleased they were with their meals. My adult niece and I highly recommend Macaroni and I look forward to visiting again the next time that I bring guests to tour the city of Aachen. Special thanks to the chef and to the very friendly host/waitress.

What a great place in Aachen city center , beautiful artistic Italian restaurant . The service women were super friendly and patient with the children we had and made sure they got their dishes asap, they enjoyed the pasta for kids and the pizza which was great . We took the carpaccio and bruschetta for starters (carpaccio was good bruschettas were better) . For the mains the Trüffel Pasta‘s picture does not compliment the great dish it was and the Tagliata „toscana“ was very tasteful (the meat was super). Definitely recommended and If possible try to reserve a table beforehand .

Well located restaurant, cozy ambience and good/quick service. There is plenty to choose, German dishes mainly. We didn’t like the quality of the food, too much sauce over the meat, the fries were the frozen type, steak was dry… few things to improve honestly.

We were made to wait a full hour for our main dishes after we finishing our starters. Awful experience. There was a second when I almost starved to death I was wondering if my beef was still on the field. The dishes are too salty. I could hardly taste anything but saltiness in both dishes we ordered. The environment is great. Comfortable seats and lovely light.

Didn’t even get served, me and my mum only wanted coffee & cake. The man at the bar told us to take a seat someone would be over shortly, but after over 20mins we were still waiting, the waiter went to everyone else but completely blanked us. So we left & ate somewhere else.

We ordered 4 coffees and 3 pieces of cake. The coffee arrived quickly, but after that everything went downhill. We had to wait over 25 minutes for the cake. After about 20 minutes, the waiter came to tell us that one type was sold out, so we ordered a different one — and then had to wait another 10 minutes for that. The cake was delicious, but the waiting time was really unacceptable. What bothered me most, however, was the atmosphere. There was a woman working there who spoke to customers in a very rude and aggressive way. She was literally snapping at people and almost shouting at them — it made the whole experience very uncomfortable. I also find it completely normal that when you eat or drink somewhere, you can use the restroom. Apparently not here — they even charged money for the toilet, despite the already high prices. Overall, a disappointing experience. A bit more friendliness and better organization could have made this a really nice place.

Nice looking restaurant with friendly personnel. But the food was disappointing. €18,- for a crab breakfast. Which has a very thin slice of bread. Scrambled eggs and scrimps thrown on. Nothing special something easily made at home which would taste better. The other dishes were even more disappointing the menu says ham from the bone and what you get is ham from a package. Skip if you come to Aachen.

Typical German cuisine is served. Food is good but nothing to rave about. Atmosphere is good and is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. Beware they only take cash-no cards accepted.

Location is great, right in the city center of the city, next to the town hall. Dinner here was good. Our server was very nice, kind and fast. Good meal at a decent price. They did not rush us to leave the place as soon as possible. We have two kids with us, they were very kind to them. I really enjoyed here.

Extremely friendly. Staff speaks perfect English. We ordered drinks, soups, and mains. All were delicious. When the bill came, they said the drinks were on the house because we had to wait long for the food. I was thinking whether they made a mistake because we didn't feel any unusual waiting. I thanked the kind waiter for the gesture. Any extra time we had we were using it to feed the infants that were with us. No one complained about the child noises. This establishment is highly recommended. I'd visit again.

The food looks nice, but honestly it’s far from good. Pasta was overcooked and the sauce barely seasoned. Also the prices have gone up so it’s not worth it. The only thing that’s great about vapiano is the cozy atmosphere and great decor.🍝

Decent portion, well seasoned and served hot are the Pinsa(s) served here. Visited this place recently with a friend and was delighted by the taste of their delicious Pinsa(s). We ordered Chicken BBQ and Diavolo and shared between the two of us. The portion was quite good and is sufficient for one meal per person. The Chicken BBQ Pinsa had chunks of chicken, seasonings and BBQ sauce which tasted well. The Pinsa Diavolo had a punch of mild spice, pepperoni and seasonings. I preferred it over the BBQ. However both were really tasty. Just like the food, the organisation of this food chain is quite unique. They're certainly well organised with the cards, buzzers and service. But for newbies like me who visit the place for the first time, it can be overwhelming as the ordering system is different and nobody really explains to you how to proceed. In that regard, maybe a few people might end up confused for a few minutes. The food and atmosphere do make up for it and it's a smooth ride once the order is placed. I would definitely visit again to try their pastas.

Franchised place. Good client experience. Since you get in you can be eating in less than 15 mins. For 'first timers' is not really straight forward but easy to understand how to order and get your food. There are a couple of terminals (like McDonald's) and you get a buzzer which vibrates when your order is ready. We tried Alfredo spaghetti and caprese antipasti. The amount on the dish was fine and very tasty. If you like, you can add some spiced oil (which I would do for pizza). We didn't try the desserts or coffees. We paid 36€ for 2 people lunch.

The pasta was a bit disappointing since it was overcooked and the texture of the carbonara wasn't right. It didn't taste bad, its pasta after all, but for the price and it being a restaurant that specializes in pasta my expectations were higher. The pinsa, which is like a big Panini-pizza was pretty good. I still had the feeling it was too expensive for the overall quality.

This store was much better than the one we've tried in Hamburg. Big, bright and airy space with 4 or 5 pasta stations to get your cook to order pasta dish fast. Very good value for sure. Only minor gripe is the place is way too hot inside.

First time that I tried this kind of restaurants. Well, I was pleased by the variety of choices on the menu, especially for the glutenfree options as I'm gluten intolerant. + : the pasta are made directly in the restaurant and everything is made on the minute just for you!

Went here to Vapiano for the first time and enjoyed the service and food. The explanations of the concept were clear, the staff was friendly and the food was tasty. We ordered pasta and a salad and tried out their homemade ice tea. Everything tasted good but and our stay was enjoyable.

A nice and comfy place to eat at the city hall square. Big enough, a lot of room and tables. We asked some starters: some Munich Salad which we didn't like a lot and 3 bitterballen which really deserve a try. Main course we tried the burger and the currywurst and we really enjoyed them, tasty and well cooked. There is an option to try 6 different beers, just 10cl each and we liked It. We payed 48€ for a 2 people dinner + drinks for 3.

The location is excellent; the terrace and interior are fantastic and lovely for evenings with friends or romantic moments. We have repeated several times. The food has quality and the service is terrific. I recommend it.

We ate Dinner at Karls Wirtshaus and the food and service was awesome! The food was served less than 20mins after ordering. We ordered Mashroom Steak, and breaded Schnitzel served with Pommes (fries), potato salad. The place gets filled up first so you might have to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait incase you find the place full.

Solid German Pub food with interesting twists, in particular for the daily and seasonal specials. The staff is very friendly, but one might have to flag one down if another drink etc is needed at the table.

Nice restaurant with good food; it is my second time visiting it. At the first time, the food was better; I have ordered the chicken escalope back then. This time I have ordered the Cordon-Bleu; the Cordon-Bleu was "okay", but small pieces, slightly burned; not that bad, but could be better though! The service is very good, and the atmosphere is nice; there was an error in my check (they added an item, which I haven't ordered); however, they quickly fixed the problem.

In Burtscheid, Ferbers is my fav restaurant. I like going there regardless of the season. In Summer the Park is an extra treat. The food is always great, the drinks are also good and the staff, most of the time, very attentive and friendly. The place is also children-friendly, which is great in summer because of the park. I’ve had many happy moments there.

A great place for a summers evening like today. Fantastic food. We had the summer bowl which was so tasty and just what we needed after a day on the road. The children loved the bolognese. Menus in English and helpful, attentive staff. We will go next time we're passing.

The place is very nice overlooking the park, with space to sit inside and on the terrace. The atmosphere is beautiful to be with your family, couple or friends. You can really have a great time. About the waiters, they are incredibly friendly. As for the food and drinks, everything was delicious but I will have to say that the price is a little high; I would still go back to try other things on the menu.

We arrived at the restaurant at lunchtime and waited to be greeted, but the waiters just walked past us. We sat at the table for five minutes and were ignored. We went to ask the waiter where to place our order and he directed us to the cashier. We went to the cashier and from there we were directed back to the table, they said the order would be taken there. After we had been in the restaurant for 15 minutes without being noticed, we decided to leave.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was delightful, and the service provided by the friendly and attentive staff was truly outstanding. I can't wait to return for another fantastic meal. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is located inside a small park. The atmosphere and decoration are nice and modern. The toilets are very clean. There are plenty of outdoor seats and a playground nearby. The staff was very friendly but the food took quite a while to arrive. Food is very delicious. One plus point for me is there are many vegetarian dishes.

Restaurant with a great atmosphere. We were a very large group for supper and the waiting time was long, we got the cream soup an hour and a half after ordering. The main meal was almost immediately after eating the cream soup, it's okay. Service in English at a very good level. The chestnut cream was delicious, it was the first time I ate something like this and I was positively surprised. Main course - steak. The service did not ask us about the level of doneness of the meat. Despite this, it was delicious. Huge portion! Dessert average, did not suit me. Overall, I rate the stay very good and give a strong 4!

The food was good, but we had an incident. We had to pay the same price for a glass of water as a beer. We ate at this restaurant twice and realized that the second drink never appeared on the receipt. They added it manually. Maybe they wanted to secure a tip. Be careful!

I visited with 3. All of them had small stomach, so I ate 2 full and 2 half dishes. Every single one is enough to fill one, so they ain't small. Proves how great the cook is, but it appears they switch them depending on the day.

A great looking building with quite a few floors and plenty of seating, plus outdoor seating too. Seats on the upper floors offer nice views of the town centre. I ordered on the kiosk, which was easy enough to do. The receipt assigns a random name to you, which is the name that they call out when your food is ready. I found this to be odd. Why don't they just give you an order number and call that out instead?? My order was ready fairly quickly, and it was pretty tasty. I preferred the dessert more than the chilli cheese fries, but would be happy to try other items on their menu. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely return.

I was excited to try their Poutine, but I was disappointed after the first bite. The fries were not at all crispy, they were soggy right away and also undercooked, I didn't even eat some of them. The pulled pork on top was ok, as was the service, which was extremely fast... But for a place that specialises in fries, it definitely didn't live up to its name.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating and kind of out-of-my-way and present in a friendly way. I've never visited without someone smiling at me and the food is always great as well. It's a bit pricey for what it is but I still recommend a visit. It's way off the train station frittenwerk shops in Cologne and the likes.

Good and happening place. It is on the main road just opposite of shopping street. Here you can find many good options for veggie lovers. It have different types of pommes with different sauces. Good service, staff are lovely. They have good space and decorate with beautiful and green vases. You feel here freshness. They have ground floor and upstairs sitting arrangement so they have also good view. Love to go there for great fries.

I enjoyed a lot the location and food served in the place. The burrito was juicy, tasty and well filled. The potato wedges were crunchy, nice and paired well with the red salsa. What bothered me was the service, which was okay for the standards. Long waiting time and slight impatiance of the personal. As much as I enjoyed the food, I still thing it is overpriced for what it offers.

We stopped for food. It was a very bad experience. We ordered a plate for two, which would normally barely be enough for one person, and not at all as advertised in the menu. The appetizer was also very small. Neither tasted good. For the price we paid, we really expected much better. We didn’t try the cocktails, perhaps they were better. I Do Not recommend the place if you are actually hungry. Note for the restaurant: If you took on a commitment to serve food, then do it. Very tasty European-Mexican food but usually overpriced in my opinion. We only go there Mondays when a selection of dishes is 50% off. Then it's great value. Great selection of cocktails for a fair price during the happy hour. Food preparation may take more than 40 minutes when it's crowded. Interior is very dark and it often gets quite loud.

We were there to have cocktails in the evening. They don't measure anything while making cocktails so the drinks were over powering with alcohol. As much as it tasted okay, it isn't a good thing especially when drinking cocktails. The prices were reasonable and people were kind. Didn't have any food as we were full from before.

Great view on the square and Rathouse. We went there to get some nibbles and drinks and enjoy the people passing by. Tip: take the mixed taco plate to get a flavour of the different tacos they have. They also have johannesbeer Schorle which I love.

Tasty Gorgonzola ciabatta, with a German Sauvignon Blanc (tasted more like a French Vorvray) and good espresso macchiato… I just missed having a water chaser with my espresso.

Nibbles were nice, small but well-rounded wine selections, and a great time (and tunes!). Service was great but then slow; but overall a great time if you fancy wine and charcuterie.

I recently visited this deli and was impressed by the casual yet beautiful interior decor. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, with an emphasis on quality and origin. The prices are reasonable, however, the selection for vegans is limited. Overall, I highly recommend this deli for those looking for tasty food, but vegans should be aware of the limited options.

Relaxed atmosphere, lovely service and last but not least impeccable ingredient quality. The kind of food where they can not hide, everything needs to be top notch and it is. From the olive oil, to the balsamico, cheese, breads, antipastis and also the coffee. We will be back.

It was my favorite place for brunch in Aachen. It is located in a perfect place in town. Unfortunately this time it was not as good as I expected. The prices were very high when compared with the portion of the plate. The service was incredibly slow.

The Spanish wine we had, I don't think a bottle would cost more than three euros in the supermarket. Overall, 35 euros for two glasses of wine and a starter. The starter was good, though. Way too pricey for Aachen and the quality they offer. I will not repeat.

Not really friendly neighborhood, felt little unsafe... Additonally, during supper, one of next door restaurant employee start to drill in the wall ... Guests in both restaurants and he started to drill ... Anyway food not even close to Italian food, pizza was greasy and in the same time tasteless. Only good point was that was not do expensive.

This costed us around 110€ (2 people). The food was very mediocre. Nothing special at all. Not bad. But I won’t come back anytime soon.

Really comfortable outdoor seating, and the staff was very courteous even though we arrived with less than an hour til close. The food was delicious and we were surprised by how big the portions were. The sauces were lush and the veg cooked to perfection.

Mixed feelings about this place. We had a window seat reservation but upon arrival we were given a table in the center of the restaurant. When we told the waitress we wanted the free table by the window, we were refused because it was reserved for someone else. The warm tapas were okay but not great. The main course was tasty but lukewarm, which made the whole experience disappointing. The staff is friendly and tries to manage things but clearly lacks good management and training. The restaurant manager spends his time talking and laughing behind the bar instead of being front of house. Long waiting times. So in short, not bad but not great either. Will we return? Probably not…

So, apart from it being expensive, it had wonderful service. The staffs were very friendly, also funny. The view was magnificent and surprisingly, the toilet was squeaky clean, which shows how clean the kitchen must've been. If u are looking for a romantic dinner with your date, this is the perfect place to go!!!

The staff, the food, and the views were all fantastic. From the to floor you can see all of Aachen and the atmosphere is beautiful. The good was very good and something different from your standard fare. The staff (especially Ami, Rizme, and Farah) were so helpful and attentive. Also, the staff understood and spoke English very well, for any travelers. Highly recommend if your looking for good food and a great view.

Here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city and have excellent local and international food and drinks. You can start your day with the very complete and diverse breakfast buffet. The same for dinner, it has many options, the presentation of the dishes are beautiful and the quality of the food is excellent.

This place it's amazing a most go to if you in Aachen. The staff is really friendly Maili, Ani, Rizme, and Juria were great providing a service like no other. I been in other hotel restaurants and by far this is the best and the drinks are out of this world. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aachen or staying at the innside hotel. I would recommend the breakfast or early dinner to see sunrise and sunset

Amazing Food - Excellent service - very loud At the weekend they only offered menus which was fine by us. The food was very delicious and artistic, every dish was on point. The service lady was very attentive and funny. But it was super loud in the dining room with all tables full, an open kitchen door and music, it was almost impossible to have a normal conversation. That was the only negative point for us. We will definitely come back :)

We came on a weekend so no tasting menu were available. (It would have been nice though) Service was very good! At one point the waiter asked what languages I spoke (other than English) and I said mandarin, she offered the menu in mandarin, so menu comes in multiple languages here ^^ We went with 3 course menu each of us and got different things to share of course. Scallops 👍🏻 The Iberico steak was definitely the highlight for me! 😋 The wine was also very nice! Everything was good! I've had better Tarte tatin in France of course but hey! It was still good! And I know where I am so everything met the expectation 😎 Definitely recommend ~ it was good time spent!

Very professional and attentive service. To begin with, I ordered a glass of Riesling from Rheingau. The waitress poured me a sample of wine to taste and I found it wasn't cold enough so she shortly came back with a new bottle just out of the fridge. My husband and I both ordered the three-course menu. We liked the "menu options " they offer. Instead of English, I tried Chinese and finally, I chose German. They even have Japanese. Serving time, and portions were just right(for my husband😅) After the desserts I could hardly get up from the chair. After all, we had a very lovely evening at this place. Everything was sublime, the chef is very young and talented, her food is out of this world, the presentation of each dish was more than perfect and so delicious!!! The service on point, our waitress was very polite, friendly and could speak our 3 languages, the place in general is very clean, quiet, just a perfect place in every way!!

The place is cosy and comfortable. The staff is overall very friendly, polite and doesnt mind to speak English. It was professional at all times. The vine menu is well assorted and so are the spirits. The menu has an easy set up and is not overloaded on dishes ( menus in multiple languages available) The food is made very well with good flavors and nicely served .

We went there during the summer. The weather was pretty good. so many people over there. We were ignored for quite a long time. But I can understand, the staffs there were simply too busy to take care of everyone.

Perfect and lovely gem in the Woods We were willing to find a family oriented typical restaurant and that was exactly what we found ! Very good service. Our food was great, kids food was basic (but still enjoyed by them) We are vegetarians. My husband took the vegetable plate and found them very fresh and tasty. That is rare to find a restaurant that proposes properly cooked vegetables. I took the German "balls" made from bread ad I usually love that typical meal. That was also delicious. Outside there are plenty spaces and games for kids. Everything was clean and comfy. If one day we are nearby we will stop again !

Delicious food and good wine. We ordered entrecôte with roasted potatoes and salad. The steak was cooked perfectly! For dessert we had Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce and ice cream. Went here on a day trip to Aachen and they did not disappoint! Really friendly staff, a classic family owned restaurant with the best in mind. We had a very nice dinner here. There was a problem with my main dish, but the server fixed it very nicely and graciously. We enjoyed our dinner very much and were particularly impressed with the creme brulee dessert. This is a perfect restaurant for a Friday date night for a couple. It was romantic, yet casual, and we never felt rushed or like a burden due to our limited German language skills. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Our 3-year-old son was very hungry and made a little noise while we waited for our meals. A staff member asked us to keep him quiet, and when I said we could leave if that was a problem, they told us to go. We left feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed.

We had to wait long to make an order, even though the restaurant was not that busy. Then it started to rain and the waiter folded the umbrella and once we wanted to go inside he told us that we can't because there are reservations. We just had 1 beer and he still didn't let us finish the beer inside.

I loved the Asparagus Soup, I would 100% recommend it The food was really good, the service as well, I would have had some music, but it’s ok, we could talk without raising our voices.

The food is nice and affordable, but we will never come there again on a weekend/holiday season. We had dinner there on a rainy Friday, and everything went smoothly. Our food came quickly and we even got a free appetizer and a small desert. We also made a reservation for the next evening/Saturday. That evening we weren't happy with the service, because the restaurant was so full of customers. First we waited 15 minutes to even make an order, then we waited 40 minutes on the food. And then, we waited 15 more minutes for our waiter to bring us the check. The older man/waiter, didn't actually give me the check/bill, he just took my credit card and asked me to approve, and left without saying goodbye. 🤷 I found that kind of unfriendly. The girls who worked there were nice, and also came with some water for our dog. Both days we ordered their homemade orange lemonade; on Friday it was really good in a nice glas with orange slices and ice cubes. On Saturday, it was served in a ordinary glas with nothing else, and tasted like orange juice mixed with sparkling water.

Very good environment and extremely friendly service. However, the food is not as good as expected. Considering the price, the food offered is quite average—no offense.

From the first cocktail (a delicious ginger number) to the last bite of dessert our time at Haus am See was perfect. Every bite of food was divine—all of the dishes were thoughtfully curated and the presentation beautiful. I must admit I’m a bit obsessed with their Warmer Schokoladenkuchen (the chocolate “lava cake”). Definitely take advantage of several courses. The menu and the setting of the restaurant beckon you to do so. It’s a dreamy location being right on a small lake right outside of Aachen. As an American, I’m used to rushing through dinner, but here I felt catered to and invited to enjoy (really enjoy!) the company of my friends amongst incredible food and drink. I’ve never felt more present during an evening of delicious food and conversation. This is the place to go to enjoy a dinner experience.

The location is beautiful - a nice area to walk around after a meal. There is a small playground at the restaurant so the kids have fun as well. The restaurant has a nice, comfortable interior. The service was good. But the best part was the food - absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back!

You definitely have a nice view, but it feels like sitting in a living room with too many people.

Tuna was cooked perfectly and cocktails were one of the best I’ve ever tasted in Aachen, especially gin basil smash. Servers had friendly and welcoming attitude the whole evening, and location is one of the best in the whole town with a nice view of the square. Definitely must visit in Aachen!

I've eaten there twice, first a saeurbraten with knödel and then jägerschnitzel with fries. The latter was just huge! They apparently want to keep the food fresh, meaning that they can run out of items - and also seats so better come soon after opening if you truly want to eat there. Note that I found no single thing in English in the restaurant and my German skills are enough for the basic restaurant talk. The opening times in Google Maps appeared correct for now.
