Located in the heart of Lubeck, ATLANTIC Hotel Lübeck offers contemporary accommodation with complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel features a steak and seafood restaurant with a terrace, providing modern European cuisine and a bar/lounge. Guests can take advantage of amenities such as tour/ticket assistance, bike storage, room service, and buffet breakfasts for a fee.
Very nice hotel, location was central, staff was smiling and helpful, rooms were clean and modern, and breakfast was probably the best part of the experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Martin D — Google review
A great hotel located within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Lubeck - which is a lot, beautiful city. Very nice rooms.
Douglas E — Google review
The location and all the services are perfect, but I found the communication especially great. Every staff member was friendly and they have a very supportive attitude. What I asked or told one staff member in the evening, the other colleague was informed about all details in the morning. I could continue the conversation about the same topic with different people without any gaps. This shows that the communication works perfectly, not only with the guests, but also among the staff members. There is an umbrella in the room for the guests which is also a nice touch. The breakfast is nice and there is an allergy info next to every item, so there’s no need to ask anyone. In the hall there is a collection of brochures about tours and walks. The parking space was marked with my family name and prepared, very clean. Such details add a lot to the experience. It is a huge part of hospitality to provide cleanliness and a nice, well maintained physical space. What can round it up is the guests’ easy access to information, services and comfort. This team does this all very well, and I wish them success and lots of kind, respectful guests.
Szvath D — Google review
Wow! This hotel was phenomenal in every regard. The receptionists were always extremely kind. Their breakfast buffet was also phenomenal. Everything was fresh and tasty every day. It was nice to start my day with so many pleasant people greeting me! One other perk— I really, really appreciated that they accommodate guests with special pillows, should they need them. The neck support pillow they offered me was similar to my one at home and helped me get some great sleep. I would absolutely stay here again in the future!
Michaela W — Google review
We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.
Clare S — Google review
The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

This hotel is located well in the center of town. It has classy interior and has some luxurious details. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and service is impeccable!

Nestled in Lübeck, the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel offers a contemporary stay with top-notch amenities. The 5-star hotel boasts an indoor pool, saunas, and two restaurants, ensuring a luxurious experience for guests. Its prime location near a shopping center adds to its appeal. The hotel's pet-friendly policy has garnered praise from visitors who appreciate the warm welcome extended to their furry companions.
Super hotel! We stayed with our two Siberian Huskies just for one night. We had a room on the first floor with a view of the river and city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, very comfortable. There was a reasonably priced mini bar which we made use of. If I had to give one criticism then the room was quite warm as the air conditioning didn't work that well, but you could open the window to get some fresh air. We slept really well and brought breakfast at the hotel which was the right choice as it was fantastic! So much to choose from as well as an egg chef to whip up an omelette (which I had). Totally recommend!
Colin F — Google review
Superb location with the hotel right on the river. Book a room overlooking the river. The room was excellent . Bottled water, chocolate left on the pillow, good coffee machine, well-stocked mini fridge/bar at reasonable prices. Plenty of good restaurants just a five or ten minute walk away. Excellent breakfasts. Parking available, but to be paid for. I would have awarded a fifth star, but our check-in was extremely disappointing. A man checked us in, no smiles, no welcome, no help. I offer of help with our luggage, no explanation of where things were. Despite our smiles, no reciprocal smiles or welcome. He seemed to understand i0us perfectly, my wife speaks very reasonable German, but no help. The rest of the staff we encountered were lovely. Reception staff are the first people one encounters when checking in. In a 5 star hotel, one would hope that staff were trained to smile, put new guests at ease and to make them feel welcome. Apart from this, an enjoyable stay in a great hotel in a perfect location. Thank you
David T — Google review
Very nice hotel. Just across the river to the altstad. Close to the famous city gate. Big room, big bathroom, big bed. Very delicious breakfast. Parking outside or in the hotel garage.
Geir R — Google review
The hotel is centrally located. The breakfast is really good and can be enjoyed on the terrace. The rooms have a shaggy carpet all over which seems weird. Otherwise the rooms are specious and clean. Very good showers.
Tiina S — Google review
It is a very nice hotel with nice view and good food. The general theme is cozy and the lighting in the bed room is reduced, a thing to kep in mind if you prefer bright places like me
YASSER M — Google review
Very nice and clean hotel. Breakfast in Nautilo was delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. Warm pool was a very pleasant addition in rainy day
Serge N — Google review
Amazing hotel. Wonderful staff. The ground floor was stunning. The breakfast was super. The sauna was hot 😊 very close to the town centre. Highly recommended
Andy S — Google review
We start with the good: Service was great; don’t speak German no problem. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, 5-10 mins walk to the main station and 5 mins to Old Town. Room was spacious, bathroom looks modern. Not so great: this is a dated 5 star hotel. The room while big is a throwback to the early 90s even the curtains look like what they have in the 80s film. The hallways, main lobby also gave a 90s vibe. Very much due for some modernization/refurbishment.

Park Inn by Radisson Lübeck is a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Lübeck City Centre, offering relaxed rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi. The hotel features Italian dining, a casino, and convenient amenities such as safe-deposit boxes, private bathrooms, and parking. Guests can enjoy air-conditioned rooms after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Buddenbrookhaus.
I spent one night at this hotel in April, and I have only positive things to say. The location is great, just a minute from the center. The room was small but cozy, clean, and comfortable, although it had little natural light. The breakfast had a huge variety, and I ate so much 😁 It was a great stay!
Roman T — Google review
Make sure you share a room with someone you're familiar with. The room we stayed in was nice and small which was fine as the quality felt high. The only reason there's on a 3 star rating on the room is that we found it pretty odd that the door to the bathroom had a window so there was no privacy when going to the bathroom. If you are a couple traveling together that might not be an issue, but as friends traveling together it was unexpected and not a welcome experience. Some rearranging of toiletpapir was also needed due to poor design and layout of the toilet with the toilet paper being out of reach when you sit down 🤣🤭 But if you're happy to live with little nickles like this, then the hotel is an excellent choice with good facilities at a very reasonable rate per night.
Grith S — Google review
It's a nice hotel. The room was very spacious. It's in the middle of the city, very close to the old town and also to the train and bus station. I didn't have breakfast, but my colleague said it was very good. Unfortunately, there's no gym, sauna, or pool at this hotel, which drags down the rating a bit.
Peter J — Google review
I was disappointed to find that the economy room I booked came with twin beds, even though the website stated it would have a king bed. If all economy rooms only have twins, that should be made clear when booking. I definitely didn’t get the room type I selected, and there was no explanation or option given at check in. Just something to be aware of if you’re expecting a specific bed type.
Annie — Google review
The hotel is incredible! First of all, it's so convenient; there's large parking, and if you're lucky, you can get a place under the roof close to the entrance. Rooms are spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. Also, as a member of Radisson Rewards, I often get room upgrades (thank you many times for that) and always delicious welcoming gifts and warm letters. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They always pay attention to reservation requests and do everything for a pleasant stay. As for the breakfast in the LaBaracca restaurant, it's wonderful. The variety of food is rich. There is everything you want: different cheese and cold cuts, salmon, yogurts, fruits, bread and buns, tea and coffee, juice and water. The staff there is very attentive; they even remember what you eat since your last stay. Overall, my family and I are very grateful to the Park Inn team for the hospitality and perfect service!
Alona D — Google review
The room size is fine and location is well, but the lightness in the room is much more than too too Dark!!!can do nothing under such lightness, very un-comfortable!!
King G — Google review
Our room was super small but the bed was extremely comfy. Very clean premises, nice design, friendly staff, great location.

The hotel features two saunas, an indoor pool, and a fitness room for guests to relax and unwind. Additionally, it has a restaurant, bar, lounge area, and conference facilities including meeting rooms and a business center.
We were 3 adults and we all appreciated our stay. Very easy access for those with mobility issues. The pool was nice, clean. Breakfast buffet is large and good. The staff was very helpful with questions and getting taxis etc.

We stayed here for one night and to be honest we were just looking for a room that could sleep 4 and this place popped up. Little did were know that it was in such a great location to go walk around old town. We had a great view out of our window. My only complaint is the lighting in the room is awful. Also there is this big lamp that hangs over the table and the table is kind of in the way. The fridge opens towards the window and table but you can’t really get back into there. Other than that everything was great and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. We even swam in the pool. The room can really sleep 5 to 6 depending on how small the kids are. My son took the fold out sofa my daughter took one bed and my husband and I took the other. I would stay here again.
Shawnna L — Google review
Very good location, 1.7km from city center, easily walkable from city center...car parking around hotel is free... also bus stop is just opposite hotel..
Minu J — Google review
This hotel is lovely, with spotless rooms and welcoming staff. The green-themed decor suggests a strong commitment to sustainability, though the limited vegan options at the buffet feel a bit out of step with that goal
Albert — Google review
Super friendly and helpful staff, decent rooms, decent location. Arrive at a decent time and there are a few free parking spots. There is always plenty of paid underground parking too.
Darren M — Google review
Very close to the old town. Hotel is very dated and the room has a musky smell. Not worth the price paid .
Jeremy C — Google review
We recently enjoyed a stay at the Holiday Inn in Lübeck, choosing the Willy Brand Suite for our accommodation. The suite was a delight – well-maintained, spacious, and impeccably clean. Our overall experience with the room left us with little to complain about; the furnishings were comfortable, and the ambiance was welcoming. One aspect that could use improvement was the breakfast buffet. While the quality was satisfactory, the variety of items was somewhat limited. However, it’s worth noting that this didn’t significantly detract from our overall satisfaction with the stay. The hotel’s location is undoubtedly a highlight. Situated just a short 10-minute walk from the old part of Lübeck town, it proved to be a strategic base for exploring the historic charm of the city. The convenience of being close to key attractions made our visit all the more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing our overall impression of the hotel. Despite the minor setback with the breakfast options, we would consider staying at Holiday Inn Lübeck again, mainly due to the pleasant room experience and the prime location. It’s a solid choice for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the captivating atmosphere of the old town while enjoying comfortable accommodations
Bjoern J — Google review
This Holiday Inn has probably the best breakfast in the whole area. That’s it! The rest is what you would expect from any Holiday Inn.

The H+ Hotel Lübeck is a contemporary lodging in the heart of the city with modern facilities and an excellent restaurant. The bar and spa area offer relaxation after a busy day.
The staff of H+ Hotel Lübeck are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Located next to the train station, the hotel is also located next to a hub for buses, and there are several restaurants and areas of interests that are within 10-15 minutes or less of walking time to the hotel. Though there is no onsite parking, the nearby lot is incredibly cheap and just about a minute‘s walk to the hotel. Bedding was comfortable and the onsite restaurant with a Schnitzel focused menu, is a nice place to unwind after a heavy day.
Bella O — Google review
No room service. Great breakfast. Nice rooms, but small. Little bit noisy in the front road side, try to get train track facing rooms. No fridge in room. No ironing board in room but you can get it brought up and laundry done if needed.
Craig H — Google review
Excellent hotel very close to Lübeck old town and rail station. They let me store my touring bike indoors in a locked conference room even though the hotel did not have dedicated bike parking. Bed is comfortable with no gap in the double mattress. Blackout blinds. Love the sauna on the top floor. Two downsides: no fridge in room, and ice can only be taken from the restaurant during their open hours.
Sylvia W — Google review
Nice and centrally located hotel, right next to the train station but very quiet. 5-10min walk to the historic city center. Unfortunately the "air conditioning" system is very old (no digital thermostat) and in our room it did not work at all. They offered us a fan instead but it is disappointing to choose a hotel that claims to have air conditioning and to not have it.
Victoire Y — Google review
Very good location close to the centre. Nice room and comfortable bed. The room was clean and staff friendly. A dedicated parking space would be practical. A kettle would have been nice.
Eva M — Google review
We have spent here weekend. Location is very good, just near railway station, about 10 minutes walk from Old Town and Holstentor. Room was small but comfortable bed. When it concerns breakfast it was OK. We could find there everything we wanted.
Paweł — Google review
Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, and an excellent location. The hotel is basically connected to the train station, which also has a small grocery store inside it. Really convenient for longer stays. It’s a minute walk or less to the train station and about 8-10 to Holstentor, so a really great place from which you can explore the sights. We had a rental car for our trip and this is one of the only places in town that offers free parking for guests. It’s located right behind the hotel and requires a paper pass that you can get at the front desk. Our room was excellent and looks like it has been recently remodeled. We were on the top floor, beautiful windows, large bathroom, everything you could want for a comfortable stay. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone that’s visiting Lübeck
Brisippus — Google review
This place is great value for money. It is a great place for a short weekend trip. The room was small, but clearly recently remodeled. All the basic necessities are there. It right next to the central train station and around 10 minute walk from the Old Town center. Only issue we had was that the site advertised free parking, while due to the reconstruction behind the hotel there was no free parking. Overnight parking on the street costs around 3-4 eur for the night.

Nestled in the heart of Lübeck's Old Town, Motel One Lübeck is a stylish retreat that perfectly blends modern comfort with convenience. Just a stone's throw away from iconic landmarks like St. Mary's Church and the festive Lübeck Christmas Market, this eco-friendly hotel offers an inviting atmosphere for both travelers and their furry friends. Guests can unwind at the trendy bar after a day of exploring or enjoy a delightful buffet breakfast on weekends.
I mean, supe fine through out. Really the only reason for one less stars is the smallness of the room. Great bed, clean, comfy armchair, okay view, quiet enough. And right in the heart of old town.
Peter M — Google review
Update: bill was refunded after reaching out to the manager. Turns out they had issues coordinating different systems. Did online check in with my debit card. App told me to get my mobile room card or get it at a pick up station, but didn't work so went to the reception desk. A very rude, racist dude condescendingly told me that they haven't received the money and I should nevertheless pay again because "you have to pay to stay at a hotel" and that it's a problem that I should solve with my bank if there's a double deduction. He said those words while doing this neck moving dance mockingly. As if that's not enough, the next morning, someone opened the door around 0940 and after I loudly said "excuse me.." without finishing the sentence, that person rushed out. Should be the housekeeper but it would be horrible if it wasn't, it's a safety issue that the hotel should keep an eye on. All in all, this is an okay place to spend the night, but be prepared for the confusing online check-in system and paying twice, being stepped over by that horrible Caucasian male at the reception desk and an unannounced entrance in your room in the morning.
Heather P — Google review
Excellent hotel and value. Very nice rooms, lots of bathroom space in the larger size rooms. Good breakfast. Staff was kind, welcoming and professional. Great central location for seeing the main sites in the city. Had to pay for parking at parking garage near hotel, but plenty of parking in the garage.
Robin D — Google review
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Its location was perfect, close to attractions, restaurants, and shopping malls. The service was excellent, and the staff were respectful and helpful. Breakfast was delicious,. The rooms were clean, but small, with no wardrobe or telephone. However, the WiFi was good. Recommended for short stay
Dr. K — Google review
Central, but quiet. Friendly service and simple but fine breakfast.
Jukka N — Google review
I stayed at the hotel during the summer, the front deck were extremely helpful and professional they let me check in hours before the actual check in time, room I booked was small double room but actually can fit to persons comfortably, bed very comfortable, bathroom nicely done. The lounge really quiet so you can enjoy your coffee or whatever drink you prefer. The bar staff were brilliant. The hotel in in the city center near the famous church so you can enjoy Lübeck all day. You can reach the hotel from the train station either by bus, taxi or you can walk which it took me about 15 min walk to get to it.
Maria S — Google review
Became a club member to enjoy the perks (quick booking, one free breakfast, welcome water) and can usually find a location in many cities across Germany. The rooms are a solid value. Not huge, but plenty spacious. Modern technology (key card brings the room to life, a TV image with relaxing imagery looping), clean rooms and 24 hour food availability. Full bar, great coffees all day. The breakfast is second to none. I come back every year for the breakfast alone! In the lobby the staff makes special drinks and they excel at hot chocolate (made with the espresso machine using real whole milk and world's best chocolate) and ginger tea made from fresh cut ginger root and honey. Also don't forget to sample a gin drink from their world class gin collection. It's super smooth. This time I got a corner room and it was spacious! Great room air-conditioning in this humid German weather. In-room safes are super convenient. Good WiFi, big TV.
Naz S — Google review
Been to this chain before in other countries and this one is styled the same. The lobby is decorated nicely and lots of seating, bar and some snacks. The rooms are modern, pretty small and not much seating room. However I did get the normal room. Breakfast not included. Central location. No parking but there are plenty of garages around to park at. We parked our car at marien, about 200 meters away. Dogs welcome at the hotel. Recommend!

The Niu Rig is a laid-back hotel located just 2 km from Lubeck's city center, offering low-key rooms with modern decor and a homely feel. The hotel is highly praised for its dog-friendly policy, providing a warm welcome to guests with pets and spacious rooms that accommodate dogs comfortably.
Friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms, great location. We don't need more for a short city trip. They even had some games in the room, in case you needed to pass the time. The hotel focuses on the important essentials and does them with excellence. We also really enjoyed the fresh style and interior a lot. All in all a great place to stay!
Kitty H — Google review
Good value. Clean and new hotel with great location between train station and bus station right next to old town. Basic good breakfast. Very helpful front desk. Big windows in rooms. There is quite a lot of noise coming from the train station. Fortunately windows block the noise very well when closed. But it is good to know that there is no adjustable thermostat or fan in the room so the rooms will get hot during sunny summer days. You will need to sleep windows open so the rooms will be noisy and get frequent cigarette smell in the lower floors as people smoke on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel. Bring your earplugs in the summer time and request for upper floor if dislike smell of cigarette.
Olli M — Google review
The location is great, directly across the train station, but because of that it can be a little loud. No air conditioning, so hard to keep the Windows closed during the summer months. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay

I stayed in this hotel for a week in Jan 2023. It is a relatively new hotel. And I really like the ideas and direction of this hotel. The room I had was small but it had everything I needed and everything worked just fine. There is a photo machine in the lobby guests can use for a photo as a keepsake. I usually don't need my room to be cleaned daily and in this hotel you get a free drink for that. Breakfast was a good choice, only set back was that it was the same for the whole week. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The location was of course great right next to the train station.

Nice hotel, English speaking and kind stuff. Very nice breakfast and bar in the hotel you can have a draft beer. Just Parking is like 300m from the hotel for 4,50€ per day and area is under reconstruction so you wake up with sound of drilling and jackhammer. I appreciate games for kids in the room as well. My kids would love that.

Nice hotel with English speaking staff. The rooms are compact but clean and nice. The only downside in the room was the shower which had bad pressure but that be because we stayed on the third floor. Breakfast is fine, but nothing special. Its close enough to Old Lübeck which only takes a few minutes to walk. Close to the train station if you travel by train. There is quite a lot of noice from the outside so be aware of this if you are sensitive.

Great hotel, great location, walking distance to Altstad Lübeck. Cheap parking around the corner. Service great, breakfast OK. My room was the Hipster Room, which I think is a stupid name, but forget about that, it's an awesome room; spacious, clean and comfy!

Simply the best location, heartwarming staff, great coffee and the room was all we hoped for. The best stay.

Very nice hotel. A little on the pricey side. Very clean. Bed was OK but not more. The hotel is spread through several houses, you might have to walk to get to the lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast was extremely nice due to the wonderful staff, so attentive and friendly, it was the highlight of the stay.

Great Location, Clean rooms and the best customer service by Mr Tunali. Highly recommend!
Konstantin K — Google review
The placement of the hotel is very good in the center of old town but close to the main bus road so a room away from the road fixes that. Otherwise fresh and clean rooms with plenty of space and big bathroom.

Hotel location is excellent for exploring Lubeck. The reception staff are very professional and approachable, very welcoming and helpful. There is a great bistro downstairs to grab a drink or pizza/salad or soup. Hotel rooms are good, nothing too fancy but have everything you may need and are really clean. Hotel parking is a couple of minutes away, but you can park on the street also for a short period of time, Overall a fantastic hotel, highly recommended.

Comfortable, helpful staff, terrific pizza restaurant next door, BUT they should highlight how difficult it is to park a car. It beats Basel as car unfriendly. They have a garage, but it's difficult to get to from the hotel.

Hotel room turned out to be a nice small flat, check-in was in a different area than the check-in, but that was okay. Room was freshly painted so a bit nauseating, they could have aired it out a bit more. Not a bad stay.

Nestled in the heart of Lubeck, Baltic Hotel Lübeck offers functional rooms, some featuring balconies and a straightforward hotel experience. The hotel is highly praised for its dog-friendly policies, with no extra charges for furry companions and access to various areas including the breakfast room and garden. Housed in a well-preserved art nouveau building, the 24 low-lit rooms provide a comfortable retreat. Guests can enjoy amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, terrace, and garden views.
The Baltic Hotel is a superb stay in Lübeck. I went here on a whim as you can book directly through the hotel through email. I stayed around Christmas time and the location is super close to the bus station, yet still walkable to downtown, and the rooms are beautiful! The best part is the friendly staff offering their help and even some tea and hot chocolate packets in the lobby! Also, in regards to other reviews about the stairs/elevator. They definitely have a nice elevator in the hotel for your use
Devon F — Google review
Nice smaller hotel which is pet friendly. Location is easily accessible but parking space is limited next to hotel, so I used train station parking which is 200m away from the hotel.
Joni L — Google review
The hotel has a good location close to the old town. We had a nice and large family room on the ground floor overlooking the garden. The double bed was good, but the sofa beds that the kids had were a bit uncomfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was all we needed. The staff were friendly and we all together had a really nice stay.

We stayed one night here. It was a nice, clean place. The manager was fantastic, he was very helpful. The room was spacious. The hotel is right next to the bus and train stations, so it was convenient for travel, but we didn’t hear it from the room at all. The breakfast was great of a traditional German breakfast, meats and cheese on a roll. Yogurt and cereal available as well. Only slight downside was there was no AC and we were there during a heat wave. This was not a problem during the day, but at night it was a little warm. There was a fan in the room that helped though. Overall fantastic experience.

Fantastic little hotel, with very kind and effective stuff!❤️ Hygiene is on the top! Very clean - and you can feel it and see it everywhere! The breakfast is fabulous 👌!!! Come in and enjoy!🙂

Stayed for a single night with bicycle. The 1 Bed room was spacious, nice and didn't feel crammed which 1 Person rooms sometimes do. The room was facing away from the train station, so there was no traffic noise whatsoever. The bath was clean and overall nothing to complain. Breakfast was great, wide selection and good. Arriving late when the reception was closed was easy and without issues. If you need a place to stay that is close to the train station, I can absolutely recommend this one.
C. P — Google review
Clean, comfortable and decent sized rooms. Hotel is opposite the bus & train station, but you don't get any noise from there. It's within reasonable walking distance of the town centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quick and easy check in/out. Limited parking outside. Note: they have no lift, and almost all the rooms are upstairs.
Sarah O — Google review
The hotel is situated a few steps away from the bus- and train stations, making it really convenient to access when you travel by train or bus. The bus line to the airport (line 6) departs from the bus station and the trip is 2.50 € and takes less than ½ hour. The rooms are modern and has comfy beds, though the sheets are too thick (warm) for summer conditions. The bathroom is modern and spacious with a large shower. The breakfast buffet contains everything you need, unless you're a vegan. The hotel is well worth its price (77 € for a double room in June 2009) and I would recommend it for anyone without disabilities (you need to walk some stairs to enter the hotel itself and there is no elevator).

The Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck is a refined lodging option located in the heart of Lubeck. It's just a short walk from St. Mary's Church and the European Hansemuseum, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi, a breakfast buffet, and features a restaurant and cocktail lounge for guests to enjoy.
We stayed here for one night and the room was amazing, the location is central to everything and enjoyed the cleanliness and organization of everything. Front desk was kind and allowed us to leave our luggage while we explore before leaving town and after checkout. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back here if I am in town again!

Stayed for a couple of nights. Beautiful old building, spacious room - ours had a big bathroom and nice bath - friendly reception staff. Easy to walk to from the station, and great for walking around the old town.

The hotel is clean, really classical. However they mention the breakfast is till 10am but they refuse you show up at 09:45. Not super flexible and friendly
Jib B — Google review
Downsides: - the bed was really hard. My body was broken after one night in the bed. - the room was extremely warm and no AC. There was a little fan but it didn’t make much difference. Upside: - the pillows and covers where really fluffy and nice! - the location was amazing. Close to everything. - the rooms were pretty and they even had cotton pads and some stuff for ladies in the bathroom. - staff was very kind - breakfast was good! Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back due to the beds being hard as rocks, but if there were ever to place softer beds I’d be back in a sec!

I booked a Suite at Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck last minute on a road trip earlier this month, September 2022. The booking was easy. However I did not know the front desk closes at 19:00. I was still a few cities away and wouldn't be able to make at that time. The staff called me when I didn't show up by close and made arrangements for me to get the key after hours. They saved the day for me as I had no where else to stay the night. We stayed for breakfast in the hotel the next day which was just an added perk of staying here, was delicious. The room itself was so much better than the pictures give credit, what a charming suite!! I feel I lucked out on this choice, would recommend the hotel to anyone.
Spencer D — Google review
Cute, comfortable. Small rooms but tasteful and very well renovated bathrooms. It's a historical building so there's some noise between walls. Straightforward but nice breakfast (except the coffee was lacking).
Nell B — Google review
The location of the hotel is great, the room, apart from a few points, was ok. But what wasn't great was the handling of the hotel visitors, rarely, not even abroad experienced something so unfriendly as in this hotel! I am shocked, there are many negative points, so it would take too long and not worth the time to list them all! Does not reflect the beauty of Lübeck.

Nestled in the heart of Lübeck, Hotel Haase is a delightful retreat housed within a stunning 14th-century brick townhouse. This charming property boasts four elegantly rustic suites that blend historical charm with modern convenience. Guests can enjoy amenities such as minibars, seating areas, and complimentary Wi-Fi, while the bathrooms are equipped with either bathtubs or showers for added comfort. The exposed beams and stonework create a cozy atmosphere perfect for couples or families seeking an intimate getaway.
My husband and I stayed for the second time at this wonderful, small hotel and we will definitely come back again. The location couldn't be any better, being located in the old town and close to everything -yet quiet at night. We loved our superior suite which included a little kitchenette and which was -just like all of this historical building- furnished with a huge love for the detail (not to forget the Basetti bedlinen!) The breakfast served in the historical and cosy hall of the building, could not have been of better quality or/and variety. We love the Hotel Haase and the feeling that we're really welcome here!

(Translated by Google) Although it is a historic building, the bathroom area has been updated. It was well balanced. I stayed for 2 nights in a suite on the 2nd floor, but the noise from the 3rd floor was echoing. The building is steeped in history, so it can't be helped... The stairs also make a creaking noise. The surroundings were quiet and very comfortable. It's a bit far from the station, so I took a round-trip taxi. It's just 12 euros one way. Initially, I had booked another accommodation, but I'm glad I canceled and changed to this hotel.

The rooms are lovingly furnished and during the renovation, attention was paid to preserving the old building structure. Nothing is missing. Free coffee and tea from the room - the minibar has very reasonable prices. The service is very, very friendly and accommodating. You choose breakfast the evening before - nothing is missing. High quality products. Our suite “Gotland” was on the first floor at the back - very quiet with a view of the sweet garden. The Passat, an elegant four-masted sailing ship launched in 1911, is a true gem of maritime history. Docked in the picturesque Travemünde Port since 1960, this majestic vessel has braved the treacherous waters around Cape Horn nearly forty times. Today, it stands as a nautical emblem of the Baltic town and offers guided tours during the summer months.
Visiting the Viermastbark Passat in Travemünde was an unforgettable experience. This historic sailing ship, beautifully preserved, offers a fascinating glimpse into maritime history. Walking across its wooden decks, you can almost feel the spirit of the sailors who once crossed oceans aboard her. The ship’s interior is well-maintained and filled with interesting exhibits, making it both educational and enjoyable. The view of the harbor from the deck is stunning, especially at sunset. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in ships, history, or simply a unique experience by the sea.
Faisal H — Google review
Beautiful ship, with a pretty nice exhibition about its history. Unfortunately the back part of the ship was closed due to renovation, but a big part of the rest of the ship is available to public. Also very pleasant is the translation of nearly all exhibition signs/info into English.

It’s closed out of season but still interesting to see from the other side of the bay.. also a great area for walks 🚶🏽‍♀️
Lara L — Google review
This is a must go for sailing enthusiasts and people with kids. On board, a thorough and rich exhibition shows all aspects of the fast-sailing transatlantic trade and life on board. Passat is a very big and impressive sailing ship. Don't miss it when you are in the region.

Great looking 4 mast classic ship, however so much construction, you can barely get there. Nonetheless it should be worth it. Definitely check the opening times as they are sometimes closed and they have "main seasons" as well as "lesser seasons". When open you can tour the ship and even spend the night in one of several choices of accomodations.

The money was deducted from my account although we haven't stayed in this hotel on that night.I requested a return the funds on my card, but with no response.I see it as a fraud.

We advise you to stay away from this property! We were supposed to stay from 8.1-9.1, telling them in advance about our late arrival which they acknowledged. Unfortunately when we arrived the premises were closed and we could not reach them via phone. We had a very stressful start in Lübeck, trying to find a hotel at night.

Stayed here for one night with friends. The art used to decorate the hotel is original, mostly oriental and pretty interesting. Staff is helpful. But the location is pretty odd. Very far from the city center. Remember to make a reservation if you want to eat dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome. Even fresh figs were available - though not really ripe. The industrial building was a warehouse, then a theater, then offices and now a hotel.

Weird building in a remote location outside the city. But the rooms and shower were excellent. The beds on the other hand, were pretty stiff and we had trouble sleeping because of it. No AC but windows would open a lot but then it was quite noisy in the morning instead. Breakfast descent with lots of things for a hotel of this standard. Free parking and friendly staff. If the bed is not the most important thing for you it's quite alright!
Robin E — Google review
The hotel is pretty odd but it compensates with really nice art and kind and helpful staff. But the breakfast was a disappointing joke….they have it until 10, but at 9.20 the hot breakfast(bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs), and some buns were finished and they said they couldn’t refill.
Popa R — Google review
The hotel is an old building, no lift, no luxury, everything really simple. The staff are great, they are polite and very helpfully. It was my son's birthday and they organized a small cake, candles and a small present, made my child happy. They have a good breakfast as well. The reason I have 3 stars is because they have no air conditioning and neither minibar. I went there in summer and it was unbearable, it was like a sauna.

The ibis Luebeck City is a basic but straightforward hotel with a bar. It features complimentary parking and Wi-Fi. The family room is spacious, but the top bunk has large gaps in the railing and does not have any safety features. The shower drain was stopped up and water leaked all over the bathroom floor, but the receptionists were able to fix it. The breakfast was great.
Excellent little hotel conveniently situated right by the highway. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with waffles. The bar had a selection of draught beers. Room was clean. Shower powerful. Recommended.
Simon B — Google review
A decent hotel, though the rooms were on the small side. We brought our two cats along, and thankfully, the hotel had no issues with that—something we really appreciated. However, the room was quite cold and difficult to heat, at least in our case. With freezing temperatures outside, it should still have been possible to keep it warm. Luckily, there was a double duvet to cozy up under. On the bright side, the staff was kind and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant.
Christian W — Google review
I am honestly shocked by my experience at this hotel. We were charged €32 for bringing two tiny chihuahuas (16€ per day), supposedly for “daily disinfection” of the room. Yet the room was never cleaned during our 2-night stay. When I complained, the staff simply said they “couldn’t do anything” and that they would clean the next day – which was our departure day, so pointless. On top of that, charging €16 per night per dog is absolutely ridiculous. In the daily room rate for guests you get a bed, towels, shower, electricity, breakfast, etc. – for the dogs, nothing at all was provided: no water bowl, no food, not even a blanket. If you want to charge for pets, at least provide actual services. Here, not only were there no services for the dogs, but even the basic cleaning for people was missing. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me in the Accor chain, and it was truly embarrassing. The hotel itself is poorly maintained: the elevator shakes and makes alarming noises, the cleanliness is very poor (dust everywhere in the room), and the overall atmosphere feels neglected. Despite being advertised as a city hotel, it is over 1 km from the center, in an inconvenient and not particularly pleasant area. Staff were rude and dismissive throughout. An overall disappointing and embarrassing experience – definitely not what you expect from an Accor hotel.
Francesco B — Google review

Luckily we arrived first for checkin but some people behind waited for 20min to get in while manager is eating a sandwich and making coffee in the back office. No AC in the room. The ATLANTIC Grand Hotel Travemünde is a luxurious spa hotel located on the promenade in Lubeck. It offers free breakfast, dining, and a cocktail bar, as well as a gym and pool for guests to enjoy. The hotel's prime location provides easy access to popular attractions such as Travemuende Beach and Old Lighthouse Travemuende.
This is an attractive old-style hotel with wide wooden staircase, high ceilings and grand seafront view. As you climb the stairs squeak in a low tone. We walked to our room through a sinuous corridor. It was quiet, beautifully furnished and the bathroom spacious. The swimming pool was empty, music was playing, water splashing against the walls. Nearby were four saunas, according to everybody's preference. Breakfast was rich with excellent espresso and a small glass of mango juice as a treat. While we ate we looked at the sea and ships in the distance. After the abundant breakfast it's advisable to go out for a stroll down on the beach and thread over numerous footprints and imprints of dogs' paws. Seagulls were contemplating on a pier. Most probably about their next meal.
Dijana 3 — Google review
We visited Travemunde for 5 days (sail week). I was really disappointed by the service in the hotel. We stayed in a studio, which is above a bakery. The smell of the bakery started at 5am… for the rest of the day. It is very expensive but the service is bad. I asked for new bathroom towels after 4 days but they told me that new towels were not included since it is an appartment. But no laundry machine in the appartment… for a 5stars hotel, it is disappointing to see your request for new towels simply denied. People at the reception are not friendly and do not speak English.
Reypens N — Google review
GRAND HOTEL ATLANTIC promises a big experience by a big name. The location, right between the Travemünde-Strand railway station and the Travemünde Baltic Sea sand beach is certainly and without any doubt splendid. Friday is BBQ day. However, this hotel seems to be significantly overpriced asking around 300 EUR for a room which could easily go for a good 4 star hotel. Another flip side of the claim by name of 5 star standards is the rather average service quality. German workers hardly spell "Dienstleistung" correctly these days, perhaps. A nice place to stay, but not a must

This is one of the best hotels in Travermünde. It is a perfect blend of excellence and rusticality. The rooms were big and clean with all the necessary facilities and amenities one could hope for. The staff were friendly. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner in their restaurant and all of these meal-times were delicious, with a picturesque view of the Baltic sea. I would definitely recommend it. I had to however give it 4 stars because of an unnecessary dispute in relation to the room payment (no fault of mine as I was charged double for the same room) which was however resolved quickly.
A — Google review
Great location but terrible hotel. It’s old and AC is clearly not working in some rooms. Management is pretending it’s fine, despite the fact my family and I have2 rooms and the other room (facing the sun as well and right next door) is wonderfully cold. Warm air is blowing out making it impossible to sleep. Again, it’s clear the Ac is not working in the room (it’s literally hot air coming out) and if they don’t want to work on it they shouldn’t use it in the summer. The grounds are pretty. Breakfast is extraordinary mediocre and reception fairly lost and uninformed. If you get a good room with no problems then no worries. But if you have any issues - you’re SOL.
Reidrick H — Google review
Slightly Disappointed is the word that describes my stay. Room was hot even with AC set as low as it could go, no still water in the mini bar over the 2 night stay, no directory on phone, food from kitchen took forever to get on a slow evening but that was a good thing because when it arrived it was pretty bad in fact I would call it terrible. Drinks were good. Staff is very nice Beds are comfortable and rooms are nice.

5/5 🌟 - I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel yesterday, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt incredibly welcome. The staff were not just friendly but genuinely service-minded and helpful in every way. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team, and they made my stay truly memorable. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly fresh, reflecting the high standards of the hotel. Every detail was carefully thought out, making it a comfortable and relaxing space. Additionally, I have to mention City Döner Lübeck, located just next door. It was hands down the best döner I’ve had in years! The portion size was gigantic, and the flavors were simply amazing. If you’re staying at this hotel, make sure to treat yourself to a döner there—you won’t regret it. If you're looking for a hotel with top-notch service and a warm, inviting atmosphere, look no further. This place is a gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Value for money compared to other places and the staff is so nice. 1. The rooms are clean and nice. Just what I expected 2. We got a free gift to choose when we booked from their official site. We got a bottle of wine! 3. There's free coffee and tea and fruit in the common area. The coffee machine has lovely varieties. 4. There's so many facilities that are included in the booking. We got a private sauna for an hour which had bathrobes and towels. You can also get cycles! Or umbrellas for the day. 5. They have a free candy bar too 6. They have an elevator too I would go back here if I'm back in Lubeck!

Honestly it's hard to take the glowing reviews seriously after having stayed there. Bullet points of why staying elsewhere might be better *Have to leave your room key and pick it up at the front desk- no autonomy or key cards (key cannot leave premises) *Service wasn't friendly, but rather self righteous *Room wasn't super clean- many obvious places were, but the radiator for instance where the towels hang was dusty and look at the dirty sticky hair dryer that doesn't even function * No climate control and windows have no screens to keep bugs out if you have the windows open More detail on service below: From the Moment i walked in there was attitude at the front desk about my bicycle even though I cleared it over the phone as that was a main criteria for my stay. The person on the phone didn't mention a special protocol for bicycle storage, yet upon walking in with my spotless (hasn't been ridden since being detailed) bike I was greated with a , "what do you think you're doing with that bike?" from an elder lady and NOT "let me show you to our bike room" or something hospitable. I've stayed at hotels where I paid five times the cost of a room here and walked my bike right into the lobby to smiles and "right this way sir" The follow up service was no better but after a huge trip I just wanted to eat and sleep, so we stayed. Would Gladly have paid a few euros more and stayed at a hotel that was up to date, properly cleaned, and with happy employees.

My kids said the family room was, "the best hotel room ever." Very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, even when the kids were constantly asking for candy and when we needed last-minute help with finding a bus connection.

I've been to many top hotels (5 star, hilton etc.), but the overall experience here with their excellent service and amenities has them all beat. Very relaxing experience.

Viva Hotel Lübeck is a straightforward budget hotel located in the St. Lorenz district of Lübeck, offering bright and understated rooms with city views and complimentary Wi-Fi. The 2-star hotel provides a 24-hour reception and cleaning service. It is conveniently situated near cultural attractions such as Museum Holstentor. Guests can make use of shared parking facilities with an adjacent sister hotel for a daily fee.
Our room faced the back of the hotel so it was very quiet even with an open window. There’s a kettle in the room. Both the room and the bathroom felt new and fresh, the beds were comfy, we slept great. There’s a Lidl nearby and if you don’t want to pay for hotel parking (15€) you can park for free across the street, by Bauhaus. The district might seem a bit shady, but it went well for us to leave the car there for a night. The only mildly negative thing I can think of about our room is that there were no real doors to the bathroom, the toilet was divided from the rest of the bathroom with a sliding glass wall, which provided no soundproofing. The automatic check-in didn’t work at the moment, which we’ve been informed about and it was no problem to check-in at the neighboring hotel.
Anna M — Google review
Affordable newly renovated rooms. Car parking nearby for a fee or park for free at Bauhaus parking across the street, the car can be seen from the hotel. Motorbikes can be parked outside the hotel which is not visible from the street, behind the stone fence, 2 motorbikes!
Zsolt K — Google review
The room was big and bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The room was facing the street so quite noisy. In general, the smell in the hotel was intensive and not nice. I needed this stop just for1 night sleep, so in overall it was acceptable. Breakfast in the hotel you cooperate with was delicious.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I would particularly like to commend the lady at the reception, who assisted us on April 26 at approximately 11:30 AM. Her help with facilitating an early check-in after our transfer from another hotel was greatly appreciated. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with freshly laundered towels and bed linen. The inclusion of a kettle with tea and coffee in the room added to our comfort.
Navdeep S — Google review
Very good size double rooms. Clean. Good shower. TV in room. Check in and car park at 4 seasons neighboring hotel but also via online machine in building. 2km from old town. Perfect if you don’t want to blow your budget. A bit of noise from road early evening but after that ok. There is no restaurant or bar but can always go to next door hotel or Macdonalds open till 2am if hungry.

Great hotel! The young woman at the reception who was working on April 19th around 7:00 PM was incredibly helpful with charging our car, parking, and check-in — we really appreciate her assistance. The rooms were clean, with fresh towels and bed linen. It was also nice to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. As for the downsides: we missed having a fridge, and the parking cost €15.
Anastasia E — Google review
Self-Checkin worked fine. Room was great for the price, but the location is a bit far from city center. Parking next to the hotel is priced fairly.

The hotel is ok, everything is good and clean, but what made my stay even better was the beautiful young lady at the reception from Latvia, being very tired from the road she helped me a lot and with a lot of patience. Thank you very much, keep smiling!❤️

The area offers modern and high-quality accommodations with easy online check-in and friendly customer support. Visitors can enjoy a spotless and modern atmosphere in a quaint renovated building, complete with convenient access to the Christmas market, train station, and city center. The hotel provides fantastic amenities including spacious rooms with kitchen facilities and comfortable beds.
I needed a room for one night on a trip for work, and I stumbled across Bob W apartments and it was the best discovery. The room was affordable, clean, in a good location for public transportation, and the online Check-in and check-out made my stay effortless. I will definitely recommend and stay here again.

The most stupid system of checkin and finding the room I have ever seen in German hotels. It was so cool that it was very hard to find the room. Needless to say that an offer to call somebody if you have any questions was useless. Nobody took the phone or even called back... But if you like quests this the place . The room was finally found behind the door labeled "elevator, luggage room , washing machines'

I absolutely loved my stay here — and so did my dog! 🐾 It was such a lovely surprise to find that not only are dogs welcome, but the hotel went the extra mile by providing a dog bed, bowls, and even a towel. Such thoughtful touches made our stay feel extra special. But the real highlight? The Polaroid camera! 📸 What a fun and unexpected addition. We used it so much — capturing little memories throughout our stay — and it truly made the experience unique. I've never seen this offered at a hotel before, and it was so appreciated! Thank you for such a warm, fun, and pet-friendly stay. We'll definitely be back!

It was such an amazing experience the hotel is right next to the city centre as well as the train station. The ops manager also left us a note and a small Christmas present on Christmas day. It was such a small gesture, but it really made such a huge impact especially while traveling. There was also little chocolates in the entry way as well as maps and a guide to the Christmas market in Lübeck which was so helpful. I definitely want to go back soon.

Friederikenhof Hotel Restaurant & Spa, located in Lubeck (Sankt Jurgen), offers a country-style accommodation in a former manor house. The hotel provides free breakfast and features a restaurant where guests can enjoy dinner or order room service. It is situated close to attractions such as Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park, St. Anne's Museum, and Nature Reserve Wakenitz.
This is a beautifully located hotel-restaurant, converted from a mid 18 hundreds farm, close to Lübeck and the Elbe-Lübeck canal. We spent a Saturday night here on our road-trip from Switzerland to Copenhagen. Rooms are a little dated with good beds and a decent shower. You can admire interesting decorations throughout and outside the three main buildings. The real high-light of our stay was our supper, cooked in a very inventive manner with products we would never have expected, serving Wels catfish, smoked eel and fish roe. This is why we have given the establishment five stars. The restaurant service had some glitches with forgotten orders but the reception was kind and efficient. They serve decent wines by the glass. Breakfast was fine but not at the level of the evening meal. Overall good value for money.
Sebastian R — Google review
Nicely located in green surroundings but expensive for what it is. The quality of the restaurant for the price is poor and after 1.30h we had only received the starter. There is also a huge disco somewhere in the area which one can hear at night. The suite where we stayed was a bit dusty upon arrival.
Jenny R — Google review
I had high expectations for the hotel, the hotel is beautiful but the service is not up to par. At breakfast we were scolded for being four people at a table for six when there were other tables available in the dining room. We then received an email scolding us for taking bottles of water in the room, each bottle costing 12 euros. (It didn't say anywhere that you had to pay for the bottles, when there was a basket of snacks next to it with a price list on it) I felt like I paid a lot of money for the hotel and I didn't enjoy it at all!
Shani S — Google review
Wery nice place to be. Large rooms, and even larger bathrooms. Full score on the breakfast 😃
Carl B — Google review
Gorgeous hotel with super nice staff. It's a kind of rural chic place with the charms of rural landscape but the rooms and service are top notch. There's a lot of small details in the rooms - wooden decorations, pictures for room numbers - that just show how carefully curated the experience there is, how caring the owners are. I highly recommend staying there for at least few nights to relax and unwind. The food is also excellent. The dinner was high class and breakfast super tasty.
Agne S — Google review
The room was much smaller than in the photos, and there is no real spa or wellness in the hotel. There are 2 small sauna rooms, but even these are not working full-time, they are heated only upon request if you let them know 1 hour prior.

Very nice place in the countryside a mere 10 to 15 min from the centre of Lübeck. Nice and very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly service. The gardens are a treat for anyone loving nature. We arrived too late at night to test dinner but were told the restaurant is really good. Last but not least, this place is very pet friendly!!! And you feel welcome when traveling with your 4-legged friend. I highly recommend the place.

Easy to get to, rooms lovely but the walls and ceilings are super thin! The hotel is broken, the showers sound like fire alarms. They also may decide to scrape the floors clean in the room above bright and early.

We had a nice room but it was with transparent glass to the bathroom and the glass door to the toilet could not fully close - I much prefer a separate bathroom so remember to ask for that if you feel the same. We had a weekend stay with a menu on the second night - the food had good taste but it was not at all something special. We spent 155€ on wine + drinks and had to pay 3,6€ for a small glass of tapped water - that ought to be included with a bottle of wine. The hotel is located app. 20 min. walk to the city center.

The hotel was easy to access. There were Nordic Energy's charging points in the garage, but just on the other side of the street is 8 DC chargers. The staff was friendly and reception open 24 hours, which is great. The hotel has a very nice glass elevator. The room was very modern and clean. Although a little bit small. It was possible to open a window, liked that. The breakfast was good. It was in the 8th floor, which offered nice views. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We accidentally booked for a wrong month. The receptionist was extraordinarily nice about it and able to still book us a room on the same day, with just a minor price increase. We even got our room upgraded from standard to superior, as nothing else was available. The room itself was very nice and clean, could not find anything that wasn't up to standards. All of the staff was very nice and polite, giving tips for the city and explaining everything patiently. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but it also wasn't bad, rather a little above average. We enjoyed our stay and booked our next stay in another town in a sister hotel by Wyndham.

120 euro with breakfast is cosmic prise for this hotel. It looks like from early 90th with new tv and quite good mattresses, but much more smoller than on the photos. Breakfast is perfect. Hotel is situated very far from the centre of town.
Mr. S — Google review
A basic hotel, nice clean and functional. The room had a small shower & a T>V> but that was it, although others reported they had either a single ring cooker or a fridge. Food was self service with a fair selection but nothing special, and breakfast was similar. The location was OK, but it was to far from a town, and we were in the middle of a housing estate although it was quiet and peaceful.

Affordable stay. * Room 3 ☆ of 5. Bed ok, pillow not so good for me (soft), TV and toilet/shower and a Chair. WiFi ok. Clean. * Area 3☆. Feels like in a livingsrea mot in Lübeck. 30 mns walk to city. Or a few mns with bus 5,6 or 16 for €3/way (good help from front desk here). Quiet and safe area. * Breakfast 4☆. Fresh. Plenty to choose from on buffét. Cold and warm things including Biff Tartar! (No mustard available). Checkin was smooth. In all the breakfast helps the area- and room experience up to a 3 ☆ of 5. This Hotel is ok.

The chief in the restaurant is so pleasant and nice, you feel as if you have just got to a family breakfast. We absolutely loved eating there. 15 minutes to the center by bus. Or 2 km to walk. It was nice to stay there. And! Use the electro scooters to get to the center.

Check in was super easy. I was early and wanted to rest on a room desperately. The reception was kind enough to allow me early check in to the available room. Staff speaks good English and the room are spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. I had my breakfast early so i did not had any problems getting a place to sit. Pricing is also reasonable. The only set was that it is away from old town and there are only a couple of eateries near the hotel. There is a super markets less than 10 mins walk away.

I went to this hotel with a group. My room was all fine but from my friend was strongly smelling cigarettes. The room has everything that you need (good bed, goid shower, etc.) but you can see that it hasn't been very recently refurbished. The breakfast is very good, with all sort of things. First uppon arriving we had to wait 2 hours before checking in. When we were allowed to check in, our room was not ready. So we got another room than intended. But to find that new room we hade to walk all 5 floors carrying our bags to find a room that was clean and ready. Upon entering the room the floor was almost caved in and there was no soap. Good thing we only slept there one night. Ps before going there, our american friend called in advance to confirm the booking during this call he was yelled at and told his english was super bad. No very happy with this place but hell of a trip

Hello everybody. Please be absolutely careful, I was there last Tuesday, after having booked online, and I discovered that the hotel is closed since two months. Luckily it was a sunny afternoon of a working day of the week and so it has been easy to find another hotel but I cannot imagine what could have happened should it has been a rainy evening of the weekend with all the other hotels of Lubeck being fully booked.
Antonio C — Google review
The staff is very nice and accommodating, however I wish they would have had some vegan options for breakfast as we told them 2 weeks prior to our visit. Our room was straight out of the 90s but it was clean and had all the commodities you'd expect like wifi, TV and shampoo. The hotel is also in an excellent location. All in all, great visit in a great town!
Arvid S — Google review
Last year it was very good, but it has been sold and the new owners do not know anything about customer services. As we arrived our room wasn't cleaned (blood on the toilet) one of the beds had no bed linen and the sheet was dirty. Lack of towels. It took 6 hours to make it better. Breakfast!!! Thin coffee and hard boiled soft boiled eggs. We have been here several times, but this was the last. One står- just for The lokation.
Annelise J — Google review
The Phönix hotel was actually really nice! Centrally located, clean rooms, and boy was the view out of our window amazing! We actually had the full moon rise over a church steeple right outside our window. Their breakfast was also very nice. The reasons I'm only giving them 4 stars are the lack of electrical outlets- you literally couldn't plug your phone in at your bed- and the tiny shower. I also hit my head on the ceiling a few times, but that wasn't too bad.
Dustin C — Google review
Perfect location, the rooms are clean but outdated. For 120 euros a night for a small room, you might expect your shower not to be calcified, enough wall outlets for your devices (and one next to your bed), and an alarm clock that can be turned off.
Maarten F — Google review
The location of the hotel is great because you are in the middle of the city. The room was very nice an the breakfast was great. The only problem we had was the shower. The water was changing the temperature on its own while you were having a shower.

Nestled in a serene setting with forest views, Waldhotel Riesebusch offers comfortable and unpretentious accommodations. The hotel features a refined bistro restaurant with a terrace, providing guests with an inviting dining experience. Situated just 7 kilometers from the Marienkirche Gothic Church, this 4-star hotel boasts a convenient location for exploring the area. While some previous guests noted that the rooms are somewhat dated, they found them to be clean and well-equipped.
Waldhotel Riesebusch (Bad Schwartau) is a nice, clean and calm hotel where is easy to come when you arrive to the country via Travemunde. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Here you can find everything you need to rest. Breakfast collection is more than enough for my needs. Have been visiting here six times on my work travels and will be coming back in the future. Bathrooms in the singlerooms are little bit old-fashioned, but there is everything you need for refreshing your self and other bathroom businesses. I have a big car+trailer combination and there is a big gravel field next to the hotel, where is easy to park.

Stayed here for one night, really enjoyed it! The rooms are a bit dated but clean and with all amenities. I can only assume the rooms will soon be updated as the restaurant area already is very nice and modern. Breakfast provides everything you can wish for, the menu gives plenty of choice for dinner. The location is quiet which is nice at the end of a long day but still it is not that far from the centre of Lübeck. All in all I would definitely recommend!

The hotel was really well designed and managed. The organisation was perfect. The staff where really nice and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the breakfast tasted really good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Recently renovated, clean and nice staff. The bad reviews seem to be pre facelift. The only downside is that they don’t have ac.

Modern & clean hotel with good restaurant. Very nice and professional staff. Dog friendly with good walking routes all around.

The internet connection does not work from the second floor up (groundfloor = ok). The single rooms are on the third floor. They told me it was my system (I tried with 3 devices..). The shower was full of fungus (schimmel). Even the walls are covered. Breakfast was good. Overall layout = very old fashioned and can use a rufurbishment. Location is ideal close to a forrest.

Seems like a nice hotel but they forgot to mention that there was a wedding party going on when we tried to sleep there, it was very noisy, it took about 2 hours before the children got to sleep and the party continued all night.

Hotel Zum Ratsherrn is a charming countryside lodging in Lubeck, offering a relaxed atmosphere and traditional German charm. While it may be considered somewhat outdated, it exudes an authentic appeal and provides ample free parking around the building. The hotel is popular among bikers, with convenient rear parking and ground floor rooms available upon request. Guests can enjoy steakhouse dining, complemented by excellent food and beer, as well as a 24-hour bar and complimentary breakfast.
Didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the restaurant, food was great and good portions. Service was very good.

A most pleasant stay. Comfortable room, welcoming staff, ample parking, good breakfast. Quite a walk into town. Nevertheless I would definitely return to Hotel Zum Ratsherrn.

Nice hotel with easy access. Free parking on the street. We had to have the windows open due to the heat and the sounds from the nearby road was distributing all night.
Tobias W — Google review
An absolutely disgusting place! The rooms and all other areas are old, dingy, ugly, broken and also quite dirty. Our shower cabin was broken, we only had 1 set of towels for 2 people, chair and bottom of bed also broken and the carpet througout was really dirty! The doors connecting to the corridors are filthy. The surrounding area is hopelessly boring and ugly. The staff unhelpful and grumpy (some even lazy like the girl that gave poor service at dinner, she stood in the bar fidgeting on her phone). A warm day it is torture to live in a room on the second floor. The garden is a joke, the really should maintain it. The prize for what you get is ridiculous. The only thing okey about this joke of a hotel was breakfast. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The Landhotel Klempau is a small, family-run hotel situated in the Krummesse area of Lubeck. It offers comfortable accommodation with kitchens in traditional half-timbered rooms. The hotel is popular with travellers seeking a relaxed, upscale Italian restaurant serving local cuisine.
Big rooms, easy to come by car, the breakfast spread is somewhat limited, but there are many tea and coffee types offered. The village looks nice too, even if we did not have a chance to explore it. Stayed twice, and would stay again.
Konstantin H — Google review
A typical german hotel in an old building with character in a small village. We arrived and made a mistake in our booking but the amazing lady at reception went out of her way to sort it. We got the family room which was large but can be hot in summer we were told. Breakfast was basic but good.
Robert B — Google review
Great location…. Although the restaurant is in the hotel and they’re separate businesses make sure you take cash as annoyingly they don’t take cards.. Not the hotels fault but we are in the 20th century so you’d think they would!?
Matt C — Google review
The five-star rating is for service! We arrived almost 2 hours later than estimated. The receptionist had tried to phone us (but I had mistyped my number during online reservation), they wrote us (I saw later) and gave us all the details, but because I didn't respond (we were still on the road at the time) she waited until we arrived (reception closed at 6pm - we were there 7.30pm), made sure we were checked in and everything was okay, and then - finally - she could call it a night. Thank you very much for doing so! Giant studio with three bedrooms, more than suitable for our family (2 adults, 2 children), clean, cosy, bathroom functional and nice, hot, good-pressure shower.
Søren Z — Google review
A really nice country hotel located a short drive just outside city. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the small village is charming. We travelled with two children and got a beautiful studio apartment with full kitchen, living room and two spacious bedrooms. And a small terrace. Go here if you travel to Lübeck by car💯

I couldn't be happier with my stay at Landhotel Klempau. We had ordered a family room and got upgraded to a full flat with kitchen, large living room, two full bedrooms with flat screens and a private terrasse. The hotel is situated in a very calm and nice area outside Lübeck, about 15 minutes trip in car. The surroundings are beautiful just like the hotel. The receptionist was especially helpful and even walked us to the room. The italian restaurant in the hotel is quite good and I recommend trying it out.

Lübecker Krönchen offers individually styled quarters and a bar in an 18th-century rococo mansion. It is located 1.1 km from the Seafarers' Guild and offers amazing breakfast.
You want to organize something out of the ordinary for your beloved one? This is the place! I spent a night in this unique establishment with my youngest daughter, enjoying the company of the owner couple, telling us the history of this previous countryside manor and how it ended in bankruptcy of the first owner and builder. So compared to the original, the gardens have shrunk considerably, being faced with the wall of a factory building, cleverly turned into a virtual garden by a "trompe l'oeil" photography, a method also used to enlarge the little saloon in our suite on the first floor. Although the decoration is not entirely to my republican taste, it appears as if the present owners have spent considerable time to collect just the right stuff to make the place completely out of date in a good sense. Even a long shoe horn was not missing. And the owners’ little black and white dog may even collect the daily newspaper for you... Reading the reviews on Google Maps, some previous guests complain of the quality of the breakfast. Obviously, they don't understand what goes into making such a complex and beautiful presentation for the limited number of guests the place can accommodate. The scrambled eggs were divine, a difficult result to obtain for a hotel breakfast buffet. And some reviewers obviously struggle with the economic realities of being a private hotel owner. Overall, excellent value for money. We will certainly return when one of our future road trip takes us to the Lübeck area.
Sebastian R — Google review
First of all I want to emphasize - all the imperfections of my personal experience at this hotel are objective circumstances that cannot be changed primarily because the building itself is a historical monument. You just have to be aware of this (read their web site - they explain a lot there) and decide for yourself, if you are prepared to live with some inconveniences but in a real palace. For a real palace it is. The owners have done a lot to try and preserve the appearance of the place. However, two big unavoidable problems are: no elevators (well high stairs), no climate control in the rooms. They do have radiators for the cold weather, but when it's hot - no air conditioning may be hard. All other regular facilities, like a mini bar (paid extra), a document safe, a microwave, a water cooker etc were present, at least in our room. The overall experience was quite pleasant. The people were very nice, the breakfast was simple, but good.
Helene R — Google review
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Lübecker Krönchen for 1 night. We stayed in the room Heaven on Earth. The couple running the B&B are lovely hosts, that took a lot of care of the building and you see and feel that. The room itself was amazing, it was an experience on its own. The breakfast was well organized and was delicious. The castle is in the middle of an industry terrain, this you should keep in mind. For us this didn’t matter, in our room it was nice and peaceful, there where no noises from outside. The beautiful castle and lovely owners make your stay worthwhile.

We needed a time out and discovered the hotel by accident. Even only for one night the hotel with all the lovely details create a special atmosphere that helped us to refill our batteries. The owners are super friendly and for me the highlight is the castle dog Lilly. Super cute. You should also keep your eyes open, maybe you discover the castle ghost. We will come back

Nice place and a perfect host, we were welcomed as it rarely happens. Too bad the location is in a suburban area and the breakfast was served only starting from 8.30 and we had to leave at 7.00

In earlier days Anett and Peter had a nice Farmhouse for guests and married lots of young couples far away on the eastcoast of S-H. Now they have found this nice place in Lübeck which is the most perfect place. It combines the perfect couple taking care on you together with their professionell staff. Here you can find a perfect mix of luxury, silence and a style that call up the history of this house and guiding your dreams to a time of fairy tales and the early times of europes civilization. Enjoy it at any time during the year as it is beautiful in summer but as well for the christmis market and other POIs in Lübeck

(Translated by Google) A year ago I was completely amazed by the service and charm of this hotel. Unfortunately, the service hasn't come close to that again this year. There must have been a change of ownership. According to the reservation confirmation there was supposed to be a welcome drink….forgot…. The breakfast was poor and there wasn't enough of everything, you should let us know if something is missing... since you know how many guests are in the house, I expect enough choice for breakfast. The shower gel and the soap have a very special scent that could be better for 4 stars. We were there last time. Unfortunately not recommended.

(Translated by Google) When I opened room 2, I was met with a stale smell of smoke that was nauseating. Unbearable even in the bathroom. I then contacted the owner. All she said was that she can't do anything and that I can look for something else if I don't like it. No help at all. I also had the impression that she knew about this problem. Conclusion: Stay away from this “accommodation” (Original) Beim Öffnen des Zimmers 2 schlug mir ein derart abgestandender Rauchgestank entgegen der übelerregend war.

(Translated by Google) We're satisfied. A small, clean, and affordable room. A refrigerator and kettle, as well as dishes for two people, are included. There's even a TV. It's best not to be too noisy. The price/performance ratio is good. Very centrally located.👍🏼😊 (Original) Wir sind zufrieden. Sehr zentral gelegen.👍🏼😊

Riverside Apartments is a charming accommodation option situated just 2.4 km from Dragerpark, offering convenient access to the city's attractions. The Klothilde apartment features 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets, providing a clean and pleasant stay in the city center. While parking may be limited, there are ample spaces available just a short distance away. On the other hand, the Pfiffi apartment boasts stylish furnishings and spacious interiors, with an on-site restaurant offering delicious dining options.
Beautiful furnishings and lots of space. Clean and well decorated / appointed.

We stayed in the Antoinette suite. The restaurant underneath was closed because of the season, which was lucky for us. Because the apartment is rather old and you could clearly hear the people upstairs walk around and talk. We were 4 adults and 1 child in the apartment, and the big bed in one of the rooms were really bad. You could feel the springs inside the bed. The couch and chairs are worn out and the couch was actually in such a bad shape that you could not sit in it. It was tipping so you were literally sliding out of it. Kitchen and bathroom was fine. Location wise, it's close to the center, which was nice. And also close to the parking outside the city center. The parking was cheap at only 6 eur per 24hrs. Only bad thing here, was that you could not buy parking for more than 1 day at a time through the machines and app (EasyPark).

(Translated by Google) We rented the apartment Klothilde for 2 nights which has 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Clean and nice in the city center close to everything. No parking but there were plenty of places on the other side of the bridge about 200-300m away. We were very satisfied!

(Translated by Google) We stayed in the Pfiffi apartment. Very attractive apartment, the pictures absolutely corresponded to reality. Stylish furnishings, very spacious. Toilet is very small, but separate. The best restaurant on the ground floor is “Fangfrisch”. You can also order food for upstairs. The only handicap is that you have to carry the suitcases upstairs. FREE parking nearby, about 10 minutes walk. Ask here at the restaurant. The old town is easy to reach on foot, max 15 minutes. We would be happy to come back. Lübeck has a lot of culture and a real old town.

(Translated by Google) I can't write anything about the service because we don't need it. We found the apartment very clean. A problem for us was the location under the roof. We didn't realize that from the ad and now the 60 steps are a daily challenge. We also had to leave most of our luggage in the car. This in turn is at least 10 minutes away because there is no parking space here. Otherwise the location is great. You can get anywhere in the city on foot.

(Translated by Google) The location is of course great, great view of the harbor and a quick walk to the old town. But the furnishings leave much to be desired. We like firm mattresses, but these uncomfortable beds...and so much broken furniture. The kitchen has everything you need, but is very impractical. However, we were listened to sympathetically, but nothing more.

(Translated by Google) Nice little airBNB with a quiet location near the beach. Certainly borderline hot under the roof in summer, but all in all a wonderful place to stay. A balcony is missing to perfection, but we were happy to be there and - if Travemünde comes again - we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. (Original) Schöne kleine airBNB mit ruhiger Lage in Strandnähe. Im Sommer unterm Dach sicher grenzwertig heiß, aber alles in allem eine ganz wunderbare Unterkunft.
