Specialty Museums
Autostadt in Wolfsburg is a must-visit destination for car enthusiasts and families alike. This automobile museum offers a fascinating display of the history of Volkswagen, featuring an impressive collection of vintage cars alongside new vehicle parking towers. Visitors can also enjoy driving tracks, shops, and restaurants within the park. Additionally, Autostadt provides a unique experience for families with designated play areas and activities for kids.
There’s a lot to see here, and it’s not boring at all. It’s perfect for families, car enthusiasts, and kids. You can see history and modern cars, including Bugatti, Porsche, VW, and Audi. There are also fun play structures for kids, places to climb, huge slides, hoops, and more. And the food was great - we had some delicious pizzas and even got some souvenirs. The only downside is that the Porsche museum was closed because of a concert, and I’m a big Porsche fan, so I give it 4 stars. Objectively though 5 stars.
Zafar M — Google review
If you are into cars and the automotive industry then this place is for you, it has a good playground for the little ones and for food you have restaurants and a bakery. It’s near the railway station and they have a huge parking lot that doesn’t cost that much. It’s worth the visit though you’ll a good chunk of the day to cover everything.
Daniel — Google review
If it is your first time you will love it. The car museum is so nice If it is your second time it is the same. I have been here in 2018 and only things that changed were the sliders for the kids/adukts near the 4 chimney and of course there are new car models but... not so much change. You pay 20€ to see the cars and touch the production ones like in a regular car store.
C C — Google review
Museum had a good range of cars from many manufacturers. The train tour around the factory was fantastic very immersive with a lot of information and interesting detail. The team were very accommodating we had been stuck in traffic so had missed the English speaking tour however, they went out of there way to give us an English spoken tour of the factor of the factory separate to the scheduled German tour. Many thanks to the team for a great experience 👍🏻
Jamie D — Google review
I found the staff to be amiable and courteous, and the environment to be organized, systematic, and well-maintained. I thought the ticket price was a bit high for what it had to offer, as I usually visit much bigger museums for that price. But this opinion comes from someone who doesn't know much about cars. If you know a lot about cars and are passionate about them, this will be your paradise. It is close to Hanover and a great place to spend a day with the kids.
Maryam S — Google review
Visiting the Autostadt in Wolfsburg was such a great experience! The whole place is beautifully designed, clean, and very well organized. From the impressive car pavilions to the museum and the factory view, everything showcases the history and future of Volkswagen in a fun and interactive way. I especially enjoyed the variety of exhibitions and how much attention to detail there is throughout the park. Definitely worth visiting if you’re a car enthusiast or just want a unique cultural experience in Germany!
Hassan M — Google review
It's an interesting nad knowledge base learning tour not only VW but other car manufacturers, Tour and Tower & VW Factory tour worth attention and a visit. Lovely architecture building bauhaus design.

Science museum
Museums
Phaeno Science Center is an interactive museum that captivates both children and adults with its array of exhibitions and activities focused on fostering interest in science and technology. Housed in a Deconstruction-style building, the center showcases a collection of physical science phenomena. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, known for their futuristic designs, this architectural marvel opened its doors in 2005. Visitors can enjoy various activities throughout the day, catering to all age groups.
I went there with my friends, we are all ~30 and still enjoyed it. Some of the things of course one has seen before but it was still a good time. We spent about 3 hours walking around and looking at all the exhibitions. Can recommend probably way cooler when you are younger tho.
P529 — Google review
Always a pleasure visiting! Our kids (6 & 3) love it and this time, they had a new section to create more stuff. There’s something for old and young and although they didn’t have all things we saw before open (renovating for their anniversary), we were happy and would recommend it to anyone. Plus is a closeness to the station.
Claudia B — Google review
It was crowded, very clean and organized, the staff were very nice too. The tickets are little bit expensive. But its very interactive.
Sara D — Google review
Wonderful place, highly highly recommended. Activities throughout the day for both small and large. We were with 10 year old and 2 year old boys. We all went with the impressions. Thinking about everything, little ones have activities, although there is fun for adults as well 😀 Everything is written in detail in German / English. If you have a picnic room, you can buy coffee, water, snacks or ice cream there. If not, you can go back again. Employees are always with a smile, helpful. Super place to spend all day 👌
Ieva Ž — Google review
This place is really, really good! I think that this is the best science museum we have been to. We spent 4 hours here with our 4 year old and he absolutely loved it. The exhibits were excellent, clean and it was fairly priced. It also wasn’t busy so we could try almost everything.
Adam P — Google review
Situated just beside the wolfsburg hbf, it's a great place specially for kids. For adults it takes to back to school, back to science classes. Too see everything in the place you require minimum 2+ hours. It's a good place to visit in Wolfsburg.
Ankit S — Google review
It's a science museum with lots of fun activities for the kids, including science lab, tech lab, and music. In fact parents can also enjoy the place and different areas of it. Receptionists and all the employees were friendly and well-behaved and, most importantly, they can guide you in English as well. It is a fully recommended place. Lastly, you should bring your own food as there are limited options to eat there but there is a proper sitting place to eat your food.

If u are in Wolfsburg this is a must place to visit for all age groups . Kids had so much fun that they didn't want to come out. So many interesting things to see .my kids ages are 5 and 3 and both of them enjoyed so much and all science exhibits in very interesting way

Free parking, free beach, free to roam. This little sea is a wonderful place to visit with a great walking/roller skating path. You can swim here. And most of all it is relaxing
Jack M — Google review
Beautiful lake, the area is clean but the lake itself is full of tree branches and leaves I didn’t enjoy swimming it. The bathrooms are nice clean, public showers are available too
Sara D — Google review
A very good park situated next VW arena. It's a very big park and a very good one indeed. It's gets quite busy on weekends in the summer. It had a man-made sea side lake in middle of Wolfsburg. The park is perfect for a Sunday picnic with family or friends.

Museums
Modern art museum
Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is a modern art museum located in central Wolfsburg. It features a diverse collection of classic modernist, established contemporary, and upcoming artists' works. The museum also hosts rotating exhibitions and events, making it an engaging destination for art enthusiasts. Housed in a glass-roofed building, the museum offers a family-friendly experience and showcases both ancient and modern artworks.
Very nice art museum. Reasonable entry fee; elevator access to 2nd floor if stairs are not your thing. Exhibits are not overwhelming in size. Check the exhibits to see if you're interested. I personally enjoy seeing whatever is on exhibit as art is so varied and unique. Lovely, and also not overwhelming gift shop. Per the question below, getting tickets in advance may be a good idea, but I saw no need as it was a slow, non-tourist season day. Maybe call ahead to see, but my feeling is it's probably a pretty smooth entry even during the high season. Definitely worth a visit for art enthusiasts as well as simply the art-curious alike.
Elizabeth G — Google review
Modern museum building with a cafe (cakes and coffee only) and a museum shop. When we visited it was mostly surrealist art that might not appeal to everyone.
Hallvard V — Google review
A pleasant city art museum in the pedestrian shopping zone (Porschestrasse) of Wolfsburg. I was drawn in by a special exhibition currently on display about the influence of the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian on followers. The artwork was all created by followers and imitators; a pretty good selection, including pieces of haute couture. Very enjoyable! The upper floor features a lot of black & white industrial art photographs taken over many years in the nearby VW auto plant.

Went to see the Mischa KY all exhibition which was great! I don't think they have a permanent collection so it really depends on what's in show when you get there. But they seem to have a keen eye for fascinating set ups. The building is nice and spacious and allows for big bold artwork.
Pauline D — Google review
Learned a lot during my visit and enjoyed both exhibits. Not being overly familiar with art generally, the pamphlets - available for free at the front desk - helped me a lot in understanding the artists' message. Both exhibits were bilingual. Also, don't forget to check out the gift shop!
Márton K — Google review
Awesome. They have some great exhibitions. Its easy to get there by car (has a parkhaus) or by public transportation (has a bus stop). There are lockers for your things on the first floor. The staff is really friendly and can answer all of your questions.

Love it! Definitely brought back memories and there were lots of familiar stores that have better prices than we do in the U.S.

Good shops, but you have to pay to enter. They have barriers and you have to put your card in and it doesn't say how much or how much. I left
Marius V — Google review
Plenty of designer brands, restaurants and eateries like starbucks, five guys etc. All major brands have a store here however they are NOT really factory outlets or premium outlets if that's what you were expecting. Limited deals and sales mostly on last sizes, discontinued lines etc. Some exclusive merch available which you may not find in brand stores or malls especially Lindts. Compare online and even supermarket prices to make sure you're really getting a good deal. Those are far and few between.
Nikhil R — Google review
I read mixed reviews about this place and specially the parking. Since it was the weekend the parking was a bit difficult to find, but we managed in the basement where it was practically empty. The overall experience at this designer outlet was better than I expected. I am always visiting Designer outlets Roermond since it’s quite big and you get lots of variety. But I wasn’t disappointed in Wolfsburg, there were lots of stores to choose from and a reasonable sale at almost every store. Great place to shop and spend a day for people living in north side.
Sakshi D — Google review
We stopped by here on our way back from the Polish Baltic Sea coast to NRW. We approached the place through a tunnel and found easy parking close to the shops. This place is quite modern and well laid out with many big name retailers. I liked the fact there was enough outdoor seating where I could sit & watch the world go by whilst my wife went shopping. I found the restrooms near the Haribo store. Small, but high quality and clean! Whilst sitting on the patio having dinner at the nearby L'Osteria Italian restaurant we were treated to the spectacle of a young male shoplifter being roughly manhandled into the Information Centre by security staff and detained until a sizeable police contingent arrived, with blue lights and sirens, to escort him away in handcuffs. Exciting stuff. We left after paying the 1€ parking fee which we didn't need as the exit barrier opened up automatically anyway. All good!
Ian K — Google review
Compared to similar outlets around Europe, this falls short. Its not worth the de-tour I would say. And surprisingly - the parking garage payment machines do not accept foreign debet or credit cards :D Can you believe it! Neither Mastercard or Visa are accepted. We ended up having to run around the entire outlet area to find an ATM, withdraw way too much cash, in order to pay our parking with cash. A bit like going back to the 1980s....

Visitors can immerse themselves in the electric atmosphere by attending a VfL Wolfsburg soccer match or opt for a guided tour to delve into the history and modern features of this impressive venue.
Great atmosphere. This stadium will always be close to my heart as it was where I saw my first European first league match. They have very quick and efficient ticket checking system and you can get seated in 10 minutes. The stadium is walking distance from the Bahnof and just next to the river side which makes it a very beautiful place.

Wonderful smaller format ground in decent proximity to the hbf and outlet mall. Easy to get good tickets and great value especially in comparison to American football. The Eis Arena Wolfsburg is a pleasant ice skating facility that offers entry for 1 adult at the price of 5 on both Saturday and Sunday. With skates available for 4 people, it provides an opportunity to experience ice skating even for beginners. Although the quality of the skates may not be optimal as they are not very sharp, visitors can still enjoy their time at this small arena with great views from all sections.
nice ice skating arena.. on Saturday and Sunday entry for 1 adult 5€ you get skates for 4€ and you are ready to skate... . of course skates are not best (not very sharp) but must experience for beginners

The Eis Arena Wolfsburg is a fantastic spot for a fun-filled day out, whether you're a seasoned skater or a complete beginner! I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and the overall atmosphere. Firstly, the ice rink itself is impeccably maintained. The ice was smooth and well-groomed, making for an enjoyable skating experience. The size of the rink is also generous, providing ample space for everyone, even when it gets busy. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. They were also very attentive to safety, which is always reassuring. The rental skates were in good condition, and the process was quick and efficient. There's also a nice little cafe area where you can grab a hot drink or a snack, perfect for warming up after a few laps around the rink. The atmosphere at the Eis Arena Wolfsburg is vibrant and lively. It's a great place for families, friends, or even solo skaters. The music adds to the fun, and there's a real sense of community. Overall, I had a brilliant time at the Eis Arena Wolfsburg and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and active outing. It's a well-run facility with excellent ice, friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning!

Castle
Museum
Fallersleben Castle, located in the car-centric city of Wolfsburg, is a historical gem worth exploring. The castle houses the Hoffmann von Fallersleben Museum and serves as a registry office. Visitors can enjoy well-implemented exhibitions and beautiful surroundings, especially during the wine festival. It's also an opportunity to learn about Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben and his fascinating stories, including those for children.
It's a small castle, but a true gem within an otherwise not really beautiful city. The village of Fallersleben was integrated into the city of Wolfsburg in 1972. To me, it was that old village core with all the half timber houses and the park with the little pond by the church that all surround the castle what made the entire magical picture. The inside of the castle is now a wedding destination for one, but mostly dedicated to Hoffmann von Fallersleben, who lived opposite of it in what is now a restaurant and hotel called Hoffmannshaus. Originally the little palace was constructed from 1550 to 51 as the Dowager's residence of Clara von Sachsen-Lauenburg, Duchess of Braunschweig-Gifhorn. A statue of her outside the castle was placed in her memory. I already really enjoyed the place, but there was a cherry on top. In the castle two members of staff were present, a lady and a gentleman, and both were absolute delights. Very friendly and visibly enjoying to share their knowledge of the history as well as the structure of the place. I even got a sneak peak into Clara's church, St. Michaelis. Being treated with such kindness makes a place like this even better, and I am grateful for this encounter.

(Translated by Google) Fallersleben Castle is a real insider tip for anyone interested in history and culture! I found the two museums in the castle particularly exciting: the Hoffmann von Fallersleben Museum, which is dedicated to the famous poet of the "Deutschlandlied", and the Freemason Museum, which offers deeper insights into this mysterious brotherhood. Both exhibitions are well designed and informative. While you can learn a lot about the poet and his works in the Hoffmann von Fallersleben Museum, the Freemason Museum offers fascinating insights into Freemasonry, its symbols and rituals. It is definitely worth a visit, especially for history buffs.

(Translated by Google) Duchess Klara of Braunschweig and Lüneburg received the castle as a widow's residence and completed the construction in 1551. It was later converted into an official residence. Today the castle houses a small museum dedicated to the writer August Heinrich Hoffmann, known as Hoffmann von Fallersleben. Overall, the small and quite beautiful castle appeared well-kept, but you could also see graffiti on the reconstructed castle gate and a lot of dirt on the glass roof above the cellar vault, so that you could hardly see inside.

Specialty Museums
The Foundation Auto Museum Volkswagen, established in 1985, showcases a collection of 140 Volkswagen cars, including iconic vehicles like Herbie and a wooden Beetle. The museum is closely linked to the Autostadt and focuses on documenting the developmental stages of the Volkswagen group. Visitors can expect friendly staff, affordable tickets with available discounts, and an interesting exhibition that offers a relaxing experience.
If you like VW's, this is your pilgrimage place. They cover the gamut, from the early pre- and post-war air-cooled days, up through the water-cooled transition. I am an air-cooled fan, and it did not disappoint. Stood inches from split windows, a Kubelwagen, Schwimmwagen, and many other rare VW's. As much as I wanted to, I dared not touch them! The only disappointment was no Hebmuller to be found! Still hoping to see one in person some day! Cool gift shop as well, not over the top. VW factory (and Autostadt museum) within 5 minutes. Well worth the visit if you are nostalgic for the old-school VW!

We didn’t really know what to expect here, and were pleasantly surprised! Neither me og my partner really have any interests in cars but this was definitely worth the time! So many old, nice and good looking cars and special prototypes, and the entry price is fair! Definitely worth a visit.

The Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg was an amazing experience for me personally. Over the years I’ve owned several Beetles — a ’62, ’66, ’72, and an ’82 — along with a few other VWs, so walking through this museum felt extra special. Seeing such perfect examples of the cars I grew up with, plus so many rare and historic models, brought back a lot of memories. The collection is very well presented, with everything from classics to unique concepts, making it a true celebration of VW history. For any Volkswagen enthusiast, this place is a must-visit!

Heaven for a car lover! They had so many cool prototypes and special models, it's a great way to explore the history and creativity of VW. I easily spent 2 or 3 hours here and got a ton of good pictures. They have way more cars on display than the museum at Autostadt. I'm an English speaker and had to use Google translate to read the plaques, but not a big deal.

Heilig-Geist-Kirche, also known as the Church of the Holy Spirit, is a remarkable architectural masterpiece in Wolfsburg. Designed by acclaimed architect Alvar Aalto in the 1960s, this Lutheran church is considered a prime example of the International Style. The ensemble includes not only the church building but also a tower, community center, nursery, and pastor's quarters. The trapezoidal plan and curved roofs with wooden panels inside create a unique and inviting space.

(Translated by Google) I was born on September 6, 1985 in Wolfsburg. I went to school on Eichelkamp. So far I only knew the Church of the Holy Spirit from the outside. Now I went to the event to help together. Following an invitation, I entered these rooms for the first time. The architecture is by Alvar Aalto... and this is my architecture. I love the curves, the extreme differences that Alvar Aalto brought into an object. His thoughts are extremely diverse and correspond to no straight line, there are no squares, there is no symmetry, there is no reliability, there is simply architecture... in contrast to the Bauhaus. This architecture doesn't suit Wolfsburg at all. Our Goethe Park is gone. Our gardens at Hellwinkel are gone. A cruel architecture that pushes people close to each other. I have already said that first the chicken goes into the coop into the cage and at the end the human comes. This is what it looks like. The facts speak for this in a very small space.. Architects Nendaz Compaction. Where is nature? Where is the space for people? Where is your own life? Yes, in Wolfsburg they actually didn't want any churches or open spaces, they wanted people to work and then go to the pub, like mine, Panem et Ludi still does bread and games today. Wolfsburg is the city in the countryside not because of the VFL, but because of its beautiful nature. Here the ice age and after created a heavenly landscape. It's currently being installed. Without the people who were born and grew up here in Wolfsburg, live down here and love this place. Participation is always written but it is not lived. Also von außen.

The "Black Hole" slide offers exciting light effects while the tire funnel slide is a hit among children. There are also water games and geysers for the little ones. We always drive one hour to enjoy the swimming pool in Wolfsburg from Celle. The drive is worth at as there is plenty of sub pools, an outdoor pool, slides, jumping boards, and a jacuzzi. The restaurant provides a variety of choice including healthy salads. There are a few minor negative points, like damage to the tiles in the pool which could cause an injury if not careful. All in all it’s worth a visit and recommend. Matt
Matt — Google review
Thrash. Unfinished facility with nothing but a lazy river and lane swimming. They don't have any info on what is and what isn't open. Then we went to see the Sauna and it didn't give any info on the entrance but they turned out to charge us all 3-hour sauna tickets full price, even though the girls were only passing through and never actually went to sauna and the child in our group didn't get access altogether and never even went in. Nevertheless they were extremely rude while insisting charging all 5 of us full price. Pathetic. Also, the aufguss was a bit silly lasting like 2 mins. Edit: it is clear where the staff got their poor rude attitude from. What a disgrace! Instead of apologizing and treating your customers with some decency, you choose to question my integrity. Class act! Look, was I there or were you? Did I look at your website or socials? No. We were with a group including kids as stated and we just went in without reading every sign. When you get inside... It might be an idea to have, say, a MAP telling you where to go and which areas are not accessible. Then when you go from the pool area to the sauna, and there is a lonely turnstile in what can only be described as a maze of hallways, perhaps put a SIGN there that says: 'your wristband will be charged if you go beyond this point'. Finally, if your customer say they didn't visit the Sauna and they don't want to be charged incorrectly, then maybe listen to them instead of acting like a 5 year old, shouting at them and throwing a temper tantrum. Calling my review 'misinformation' is so petty and pathetic. I was expecting an apology and a link to where I can file a formal complaint and get my money back.
Maurits G — Google review
We were there yesterday, The kids pool was good, the jacuuzi was Awsome. BUT the other pools were so cold, its not heated as it supposed to be.. i didnt enjoy swimming as i felt cold most of the time. Secound the coworkers there are very rude to the Max. We really had a bad Situation with them as they were hurrying us up to go out, however one of them Was pushing one of my friends in her back, i couldnt even imagine such rudness with the visitors like that.. Yes i know that we had to change up earlier than that, but such sitiuations happens, its like (always) when you have kids. Even that doesnt justify ever that one has the right to do such Things with the visitors. PLUS The Toilettes smells like urine, and that was really disgusting..
Sahar H — Google review
What a great place, such good value for money. We bought a family day pass and spent 5 hours here. One water slide has a long slow queue but the slide with inflatable rings never had a queue of more than 4 people. Restaurant closed for refurbishment but replaced by a food truck in the garden serving chicken nuggets/bratwurst and fries so perfect for a snacky lunch. Lazy river/Olympic size pool/diving boards and pool/wave pool and slides included in the really reasonable price. Sauna extra so we didn't use it as we were so busy with the other areas. We hired towels for 3 euros each which you get back at the end. You get a wrist band for the duration which allows you access into the areas and works the lockers and you also use to get food and then pay for what you eat/drink at the end meaning you don't need any cash/cards with you when inside. Overall, brilliant experience
Kat B — Google review
Great fun for the whole family. Different pools, Saunas, a huge whirl pool, but best of all is the wave pool, where waves are created at regular intervals all day. Basic fast food restaurant, one stop entertainment for water sport fans.

Loved it. I love the section where you can mobe with the waves and also hot water area... full day of fun with family and very reasonable ticket for just 26euros. P.S: We often go there but never had a chance to eat something, For the first time i tried something but food is a bit costly with vegan burger 12€ and some nuggets with pommes in 10.50€ 🤔 "Ofenkartoffel" but actually just boiled potatos with sour cream... does not like the taste and was not fresh either.

(Translated by Google) A beautifully designed and informative museum in a charming, really pretty half-timbered castle in the Renaissance style in the Weser area. And entry is completely free! The content of the museum is innovative and informative. You get insights into the life and work of Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben. In addition, you can learn about the political circumstances and the democratic movements during Hoffmann's lifetime. The museum is also suitable for children, as there is a song tree with Hoffmann's pieces and other things to try out. Special exhibitions can be found on the upper floor. Personally, I really like this museum.

Update: Was there again. The boss was sitting directly at the bar and was much more controlling the stuff. As I mentioned before, food was great, this time as well. All things were now much more perfect, friendly service, always an eye to the customer, i was even asked during the dinner, if all is okay! WOW! Forgot the name of the waitress (sorry for that), however if you can keep this level, I am sure, you will see much more customer. NOW absolutely RECOMMENDED! Last review: Well, guys there is obviously something we need to talk. First, we with 6 ppl´s sitting outside very nice, mixed crowd, all good. The food was very nice (had crispy schnitzel), on the point fried, so juicy. The menu is offering lot´s of choices. The beer was cold, however, the supply of carbon did not always seem to work properly, maybe the kek was empty? I think there is a real problem with the service. They run through the guests with little attention, sometimes without anything in their hands (don´t do when pro). The waiters/waitresses are not unfriendly or rude, please don't get me wrong. If they look for you, you always get the impression that they want to leave quickly, taking an order is a kind of burden. They never ask if all ok, or pass by to check, if we´re happy. Assuming that´s kind of luck of service training, so they´re unsure what to do. Because of this not blaming them, still giving a 4 stars. The boss is here requested, if interested to keep the customers. *think

A medium-sized theater. Even sitting at the very back of the stall, I did not feel distanced from the performers. The lady at the box office was nice and assisted me in choosing the best remaining seat. However, the quality of the audience could be improved. The two ladies sitting by my side made quite some noise during the performance. (This is not actually a problem of the Theater but it nevertheless influenced my experience there, costing a star).

It was old and rugged down, thankfully the city renovated it recently with a somewhat astonishing result. But it still fails to convey glamour or metropolitan flair. Seats are average and acoustics not even close to sufficient.

The Wolfsburg VW FACTORY is a must-visit destination in Germany, located near the Wolfsburg Railway station. It was established to complement the successful Kunst Museum and Autostadt. The factory offers an interactive experience with over 250 exhibits designed by Ansel Associates within a stunning building created by renowned architect Zaha Hadid and her German associate. Visitors can take a fascinating tour of the world's largest car factory, offering an insight into the production process and showcasing impressive technology.
Introducing the 1970 Volkswagen Beetle! “Say what?” Undoubtedly one of the best automobiles of all time. “Why?” you may well ask. Well, I’m going to tell you why. (1) On the road with title, tax, etc. would run you about $2,100.00 (2) They were extremely reliable with low cost maintenance (you could either take it a dealer and they’d thank you for letting them fix your wagon; or you could repair it yourself- generally speaking, all it required was a screwdriver). (3) They have excellent resale value- they’re now selling between $22,000 and $40,000+, depending on condition. (4) They were great in the snow because the engine was over the drive wheels; that, and there was a steel shell underneath (they could actually float). (5) VW sold over 22M of them.
Lance S — Google review
It was a very disappointing experience for us. We drove especially to Wolfsburg for that tour and have regretted doing so. The tour was supposed to be officially 1 hour, but was in reality 50 minutes brutto, but in reality, without the bureaucracy and driving in the factory, we were in reality in the factory only 25 minutes. The first guide on the general bus didn't have the best of english and was asking his colleague for the words in English. In the factory the other guide had good english and was explaining very well and interestingly, but was driving fast (25 minutes for the entire assembly line), where we could barely see the robots moving... Do it if you are in Wolfsburg for some reason, but I wouldn't recommend driving there especially for that.

I have been waiting for a family car for 1.5 a year. Nowadays it is normal, it would not be a problem, but I expect more transparency from a company like VW, from a precise German company. I cannot believe that they do not have a schedule, and they are not able to communicate when they will start manufacturing the exact cars, or just a prediction based on the queue. If this is not their failure, they should choose more proper resellers. I am very disappointed. update: I ordered the car in early July of 2021. Delivery plan was 24 weeks (+14 weeks of small letters worst case scenario). Reseller said in January 2022 the current plan for starting manufacturing is the 33rd week of the year. Today they said the new plan is 44th week (55th week will be the next), meanwhile customers have already delivered cars, who ordered few weeks and months prior to my order. Inconsistent order in manufacturing is not so professional, or someone does not tell the truth. update2: current schedule is February 2023, but there might be some delay. We are close to the second anniversary. It is ridiculous.

(Translated by Google) You can tell by the nickname: Autostadt. They may have tried to make it pleasant for cyclists in the town, but they failed in/near the train station. Anyone who travels by bike + luggage and by train and changes trains in Wolfsburg and, in the worst case scenario, has to change platforms will have to find out that neither the elevators are suitable for transporting bicycles nor do the existing stairs have a bicycle channel. So switching becomes both an adventure and an ordeal or a feat of strength. The station doesn't look that old yet, but maybe they could think about cyclists during the next renovation or modernization project...
