This was, hands down, our favorite spot in San Juan. We went both in the morning and at night, and both experiences were amazing. The bartenders were incredibly kind and professional — they prepared our cocktails right in front of us, based on personal recommendations, and really made us feel special. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic. We tried several different ones, and each had its own unique and delicious flavor. The atmosphere is that of a stylish, elegant bar — I’ll share some photos! Whether you’re looking to relax after a long, hot day or wind down after a night out, this is the best bar in Old San Juan. Highly, highly recommended!

Oh my god, La Factoría with live salsa completely blew my mind! The vibe, the dancing, the music — it’s all just incredible. Definitely a place you can’t miss. The cocktails are excellent, and it’s such a cool experience discovering hidden little bars behind different doors. It does get really hot inside, but honestly, I had an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat.

I went to dance at this place with my friends because everyone recommended it. It did nit disappoint. It 's located in Old San Juan. Every room in this 2 story building has a bar with a different theme and music, so you can walk around from room to room and enjoy different types of music rhythms like Salsa, techno, reggaeton, techno, etc. The salsa room was packed with people dancing. It seemed like a good combination of locals and tourists.

It's somehow highly rated, but not worth the hype. It's kind of different bars all in one place where you can hop on, but becomes costly as you step up! You go here just for the atmosphere, but not for anything else. Cocktails and the food are good and so is the location.

Reviewed as a bar when looking for delicious drinks this place was ok at best. We arrived close to open and all the additional rooms were closed, so we were told lots of drink options weren’t available. Staff were friendly and service speed was decent. It definitely sounds like this place is a lot of fun at night as basically a club, but definitely not a place for amazing drinks. If you’re looking for great drinks go to Kane Rum Bar. Overall for all the amazing reviews this place was ok, so if you want the best experience for what they offer go at night.

La Factoría has the reputation that it has for very good reason!!! It IS the epicentre of fun, excellent vibes, superb live music and salsa dancing with people at all different levels. We went after finishing a late dinner on a Saturday night, and the vibes that we were hoping for - we received with open arms! There was no long line to get in, and it was definitely crowded inside. Getting drinks wasn’t too crazy of an ordeal — but most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough, it was SUCH an amazing time!!

This bar definitely has a great atmosphere. It has different rooms and each room has its own bar. Music is always on point here; can be loud but you’re still able to talk. It’s a tourist area, prices are according to that. Tip: there’s an area most people don’t know about. Have fun looking for it.

First night In Porto Rico We decided to stay in the old city it seems to be authentic and pretty, for those who like history and learning about the city is the place to be. We went out to this place which was recommended bu many people There’s is a lot of bars and restaurants on the same area all around the food market which I will visit today The bars are basics but the ambience is funny The only things is that they like listening to music very very loud and while you are walking in between bars it’s very annoying between Latin and hip hop music We tried différents food and bites Wasn’t that bad but we didn’t discover the heart of portoricain food yet. La Placita de Santurce is a vibrant spot in San Juan that truly comes alive on weekdays and on the weekends, this was on a Thursday! The atmosphere is electric, filled with music and the sounds of laughter. It’s a fantastic place to mingle with locals and enjoy delicious street food. Literally dancing and bar hopping in this square and everyone was friendly. People are here to have a good time. La Placita is definitely worth a visit!

Totally loved this place. Even though it wasn’t as busy when we went, we still had fun. Walked around a bit and everything is closed. Great vibe. Go on the weekend of you want to real party.

Loud music everywhere. So many choices of Adult Beverages to choose from. Local dishes at just about every restaurant. It’s a must go if you’re looking to dance and drink.

La Placita is a great place to party in Santurce. We stayed close by and went every night we were in Santurce. We had dinner in one of the restaurants one night and just got picadores because we were going to walk around. My favorite spots were La Buena Barra, Tulum, Dirty Monkey, and Paradiso. Walk around and enjoy all the music and drinks, its amazing. Be aware that the prices are much higher in this area than outside of the city! Also many people, if not everyone came here after the concert ended.

Loved it. Drinks were good and music was great and fun too. Would say everyone comes around 11pm-12am! Would come again.

It was lit. I had Mofongo with chicken and garlic sauce. So yum and the service was great. So many options for dancing, hookah, drinks and food. Time went too fast.

5-star as the atmosphere on Monday night was incredible even though it wasn't super packed; the DJs were great, people were dancing their buys off and the music was a blend of top 100 hip hop and reggaeton.

This is a music venue. When I was 16 and went to a place and they didn't have paper in the bathroom, I was like, that's just part of it. Places are new, the crowd is young. But this place is now 16 years old. Please have paper in your bathrooms.

Fun authentic bar in Rio Piedras. They had Bomba playing this night and it was lovely. Highly recommend. This is a local place so be respectful towards the people and their culture.

Nice place to stop and grab an inexpensive drink and listen to some music... Bar is open air so weather depending stays fairly comfortable. Awesome staff and a cool place to sit with friends, grab a drink and listen to live music or DJ. Not much dancing or singles for that matter, seems to be a hangout more than anything. Very much enjoyed bouncing around and playing a game of pool!

Great little bar. Has a pool table, often has live music. It's kinda open air, there is seating available. They have started a little street market set up in the blocked off road with large tents for customers to still be able to enjoy in inclement weather. Very Lgbtq friendly.

We came here for the views. We had a great waitress, she was honest and told us the food would take a while. We had shrimp mofongo and mini alcapurrias. They definitely took a while but weren’t bad! I never expect much from this type of bar when it comes to food but besides the wait, it wasn’t bad.

While the atmosphere and views here are great, the service was very very slow, but they were nice. It’s took 30 min to get one drink and the place was not busy. I’d recommend coming here for drinks, for the nice view. The food was not great, mofongo was dry and it lacked flavor even with adding ajillo sauce. Don’t recommend getting food here, if you only have 2 hours,it’ll take too long.

This place was a good spot ; it’s on the strip by the Perla. It’s usually a busy spot but we caught it on an empty night. Our waitress was amazing ! Literally so sweet. We really went for the alcapurrias , and end up having the carne frita which was a bit too salty but the onions and rice were to die for .

We visited La Vergüenza today – the food and drinks were excellent! I had the Passionfruit Mojito and the wings – both were super tasty. Our server Janelys was such a cheerful and refreshing personality – she really made our evening! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Came to work from here with my laptop in the afternoon but still wanted to have a chill fun atmosphere. My server Kelvin made the best mixed drinks, to my liking, on the roof deck. Reggae style music and his great service made it the perfect vibe to have just enough fun while still getting some work done! I’ll def be coming back!

This is the spot to be on a Monday night, it’s much more of a local spot than a tourist one (and hopefully it stays that way!) On Mondays they play live bomba y plena music, which is the music that many dance styles derived from. It’s very chill, everyone is just listening to the music enjoying, dancing, and hanging out. It is an outdoor spot with a patio, and they have a bar in addition to a kitchen. I was starving so I ordered the hamburger, it comes with fries and WOW! One of the best burgers I’ve had. They added plantains, bacon and fries into the burger in addition to lettuce, tomatoes, onions and ketchup Mayo sauce. 🤤 I’m going to try to recreate this burger at home!

Food service was slow but totally worth the wait! Best chicken quesadilla I’ve ever had! Went on a Monday night, the place was packed! Live salsa band was great! Family friendly, good for teens and adults who enjoy live music and dancing.

First time going here tonight great music selection, good vibes all round. Bartender guy was very nice and well experienced in making cocktails and drinks. He was also a mini DJ lol. Our first time here on Friday night, Calle Loiza was known to be the center of crime back in the old days, now it's being revitalized as a "hypster town", they have a bouncer but the place was empty, service was ok, drinks were too light on alcohol for it's cost, the food took awhile even though the place was empty and it came out cold. Be prepared to expend $$$.

This place is great, the waiter was so kind and nice. We couldn't be more satisfied. Delicious natural juices, very tasty food, good atmosphere. I liked it and hope to be able to come back soon

We came with a big group on a Wednesday night. Service was very slow and they weren’t equipped to handle a larger group. I was one of the first people to get there in the group and was the last to receive my drink about an hour after I was seated. Also, one of the last to receive my food. Food was okay. Never received my second drink because the waitress forgot. Overall one of my worse restaurant experiences while visiting Puerto Rico.

After a day of traveling we were looking for something to eat and get a drink. The cocktails all looked great and the bartender was amazing as were the drinks. The food was ok, even though our server forgot to put in half the order and we had to wait a while for one pizza but it was good.

i enjoyed this place and the vibe it had!! its definitely a lowkey kinda spot and the parking situation is a little adventurous but nothing crazy, pretty safe. the drinks were cheap but good and the bartender was cool. they had fans and AC by the stage which was appreciated. theres lots of spots to sit at and get comfy including a pretty big smokers area by the entrance. overall really enjoyed myself 🖤

Awesome, hipster dive bar with super cool aesthetics. This is a place that deserves to be recognized and funded by Puerto Rico. Keep this place going at all cost, it brings a culture like nowhere else I found during my time in San Juan. I would high recommend this spot for sure!

Cozy place with a lot of charm and a nice ambience. Popular with local hipsters, artists and alternative crowd. They present events almost weekly with local and international alternative artists. Beers are cold with few variety, mixed drinks are ok...

Best caramel corn in town. Curated, high-end decor. Cash only. "They play white music." Go to the food across the street and get something to put her hot sauce on. Our ABNB was right around the corner and we will be back.

Great place to hang out with friend but the music in dance floor is way too loud. I ended hanging out in the smoking area. This is a problem a lot of clubs in Puerto Rico have. I used earplugs and that helped me a bit, but it was too loud.

If you go during the day, bars and many of the reastraunts are closed. There will be a market open with many fruits and vegetables. In the evening, every bar is pumping out music, and the tables are being used at most restaurants. You will find bands playing outside or karaoke. The real party doesn't even start until around 10 pm.

Amazing fresh and ripe fruits! They were SO GOOD and SO CHEAP! They’ll cut the fruits for you! The farmers market closes at 5pm but will turn into a fun night life around 8pm!

Great spot for fresh fruits and vegetables—they even offer to cut up the fruit for you! We had been searching for roadside fruit stands throughout our trip but couldn’t find any. Glad we got to enjoy some sweet papayas and mangoes from here! Price was great and can pay with card or cash.

Although I wasn't able to experience La Placita during the day and enjoy the variety of fresh fruits typically available, I did have the opportunity to explore its vibrant nightlife. The area comes alive after dark, with numerous bars offering a range of music genres to suit diverse tastes. One of the highlights was watching people dance classic salsa in the streets—a lively and culturally rich display that added to the area's dynamic atmosphere. I loved it!

Horrible and incompetent "security " staff makes this nice venue actually terrible. From the first step into the venue you are met with rude elderly staff with no concept of hospitality or professionalism.

Nice venue located inside T-Mobile district. Very spacious and first concert venue I've ever been to to have chairs was kinda odd for me. But nice if you didn't want to stand the entirety of the show. Prices were average

This place is great for entertainment and bars and restaurants. I visited during the evening which is perfect for seeing all of the beautiful displays and all of the multiple screens. I'm so glad that I finally visited the T-Mobile District.

Excellent venue for concerts. A bit small and tends to be crowded because of that. Went to the Caifanes concert. At the start of the concert the sound was loud but it was fixed later.

Is a bit small in the inside the entrance was free for the lady’s . I visited this club with some friends to celebrate the birthday of one of them. The vip was around 700$ two bottles include but we ended up paying 948$ .music was good .

In my honest opinion Brava is one of the best clubs i have gone to in Puerto Rico. It has incredible DJs, a great atmosphere and those who work there (bartenders, hostesses, and security guards) are friendly and respectful. If you’re looking for a very packed day, full of locals, go on a thursday you wont be disappointed! Although it is a bit smaller than other clubs it has plenty of space to dance, sit and relax, and the guards make sure to not overly pack the place. I trully cant say one bad thing about the place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go!!

Such a cool place! Definitely felt and looked like a high-end club, like something you’d find in New York or Miami. The coco mojito I got was delicious and the crowd was all over the dance floor. The only thing is that it was a little too crowded to dance when I went, so I want to go back on a slightly less busy night just so that I have room to get out on the dance floor.

It was not very fun, the club was way too bright and flashy and the DJ was not very good. My friend and I loved La Placita but if that was your jam, bravo will not be. It’s very overstimulating.

We traveled from NY for a birthday bought a section which could have been a lil bigger for the price but the hostesses were nice and pretty and make ya drinks strong,they definitely don't sell food or snacks so don't go there needed food in ya belly with ya liquor!! They don't really cater to the tourists in the crowd so if your looking for more music from home this is not the place if your a native then yes..they played 1 song we knew then 4 Spanish ones the half of a song we liked and more of there's so we ended up leaving a bit early then we would have liked it jus wasn't that enjoyable since we didn't really understand the music.We ended up finding a place so it wasn't a complete waste.

The main area DJ Alex plays too much rap in English and Spanish. It's really cool but don't recommend the private boots since you are stuck in the main area. The secondary area/ DJ is way better

This Spanish restaurant is good to visit if there is a flamenco show. Other days you may hear people training on the second floor. The restaurant is located in the heart of San Juan. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The recommendations were very helpful. I tried local beer, Spanish sangria and octopus with potatoes. I wouldn’t say that the food was very fresh, but not bad generally

Hidden gem! I hadn't heard about this place before stumbling upon it-- and I did research. Amazing flamenco dancing but the star of the show was the guitarist! He was OUTSTANDING! I can't believe that there is no additional charge for this. Food prices reasonable. Yummy tapas! Get a reservation for about a half hour before the show. We had no issue making one same day. Recommend!

We searched for a local place in Old San Juan offering a dinner and flamenco show. Triana's was the only place we could find. My first impression was that the place was very run down and in need of renovations/upgrades. We were shown to a rickety table up front, but we had a nice view of the performers. Our waiter wasn't overly friendly or patient. I wish he had been more helpful making food suggestions and telling us how much to order from the menu as it shows 1, 2, 3, main dish, etc., giving the impression that you should order from every section. The name says "tapas" - which to me means small plates - but everything we ordered was huge! So unless you are extremely hungry or want leftovers, don't order too many dishes. (Note: We loved the chickpea/sausage/shrimp tapa, and Lamb chops entree with side of beans and rice. DELICIOUS! Also, be aware that if you want water, they only serve pricey bottled water). As for the show, Juan Carlos was incredible. It was a real treat to see him perform on his guitar, although some of his humor decidedly wasn't funny and missed the mark. The 2 (younger) dancers who first accompanied Juan were okay but not great; however the third (older) flamenco dancer was PHENOMENAL!! Absolutely incredible footwork and energy...a real professional. When she and Juan performed together at the end of the show it was electric! Definitely the highlight of the evening. Overall, we enjoyed the food and show and were glad we visited Triana's but felt the experience could be improved with better ambiance, furnishings, and service.

I found this place after seeing someone recommend it on TikTok, and I’m so glad I went, it’s definitely a great hotspot! I went alone and still felt really comfortable. The lady who served me was incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. The red wine was delicious, the food was great, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. Service was also super quick. I paid around $50 including tip, which I thought was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I sat at the bar, while service was good, the flamenco show was happening in the main dining room and was very loud. If you are in the main dining room it is a nice experience. I only had 2 tapas; Manchego and Chorizo with Mushrooms. Simple, Chorizo a bit saltier that it should, but it was fine. I find it odd that it wasn’t served with crackers or a crostini style bread, but instead when I asked- I was served a regular warm dinner roll which doesn’t really go with the dish or the concept of Spanish Tapas. The Red Sangria was the star of the dinner. Service was Excellent.

The flamenco show at Tiana tapas & Flamenco was so much fun!! However, we ordered the paella and it had zero flavor which we were very disappointed about especially since it was our last meal in Puerto Rico

Great place, this event is called experiencia sinfonica, and it's so that students get a better idea of how it is to be in a professional orquestra. It happens once a year, and I definitely recommend.

Great theatre! It was my first time on the Centro de Bellas Artes and I was stunned by its beauty. I am happy that my island has such a great place for performances. I went to see Hamilton with Lin, and everything was perfect. I don't think there was a bad seat in the house.

Amazing to experience a production in this incredible performance space! Superb sound system and impressive lighting! The audiences are equally passionate about the productions as the performers!

We go here regularly for the use of the suites for a modeling thing my gf is involved in. But it seems that any group can rent space for use there to hold there event practices or geoups activities.

Went to Sala de Festivales Antonio Paoli for the "Casi Normales" musical. It was a very very wonderful musical and the theater is renovated. On the other hand, they have a considerable amount of space for the parking garage.

I visited for a school play and talent spectacle and is a beautiful place.

It's a small theater in Old San Juan, where you can see theater play in some days. The construction began in 1826.

This is the oldest permanent theatre in Puerto Rico. It is beautiful and stunning. The main floor seats are comfortable the balcony seats not so much. Great view from anywhere. You will be looking a couple of times at the elegant chandelier.

Graduation day of my son. Somewhat unorganized, after graduation, they hurry us to leave and doesn't let me take photos inside with my son.

Lovely old theater. The seats are so old and hard that one gets uncomfortable immediately.

The Paseo de la Princesa is, without a doubt, one of the most magical places in Old San Juan. From the moment you start walking among the trees and colonial style lanterns, you feel like you're traveling back in time. The ocean breeze, the sound of the fountain, and the view of the bay create a unique experience...perfect for a stroll with family, your partner, or simply to disconnect from the noise of the world. Along the path, you'll find local artisans, live music, and if you're lucky, even a cultural performance. All of this set against the majestic backdrop of El Morro and the city’s protective walls. It’s safe, clean, and has a special vibe you can only feel in Puerto Rico. Every time I go, I'm reminded why this piece of history remains one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals!

Beautiful place to visit anytime of the year but it’s especially beautiful during Christmas & 3 Kings Day season. There’s also plenty of parking down near the shore. I’d recommend taking the opportunity to also walk around Old San Juan during this time since there’s also many decorated areas around this location including the Placitas (Plazas) & Governor mansion

The day my family went there were fantastic street vendors selling hand crafted goods for very reasonable prices! I bought a crochet stingray and my brother bought a crochet chicken! My favorite booth. 18$ each, which felt very reasonable for crochet pieces. Very friendly, kind and hard working people. The woman I bought from was so patient even though my card was giving me trouble. I love supporting local artisans wherever I travel. The street itself and the statue were beautiful, such amazing architecture. We loved going at dusk, we just got done with dinner and enjoyed a nice stroll.

I recently went to Aguardiente Bar, and I had the best time! The atmosphere was really fun, and the music got everyone dancing. The cocktails were reasonably priced, and the bartenders were super friendly. It seems like it’s the only place that’s open 7 days a week, which is awesome! If you're in Puerto Rico and want a great night out, definitely check it out!

We were in town from Texas and Google sent us here. We were NOT disappointed. We came on a Wednesday around 11pm and the music was GREAT, drinks were quick and tasted great, and service was on point! Chene took care of us and we enjoyed ourselves so much! Safe area, fun environment, good music, and drink prices that won’t break the bank! What’s not to love?

The Canon Club in Old San Juan is one of our favorite intimate experiences we had in Puerto Rico. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and full of energy. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay for hours just soaking it all in. Our waiter was our favorite!!! She was so friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. It’s rare to have service that stands out this much, but she really went above and beyond to make sure our group had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were good as well. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and paired perfectly with the lively setting. We all got a variety of different things, and the flan at the end was sooooo yummy. A quick tip for anyone planning to visit: make a reservation for the piano room ahead of time. It fills up quickly depending on the day, and there’s a $10 per person charge for dining there, but it’s absolutely worth it.

YEP there’s a cool trio playing live music on a Saturday night 🎹🎼 but very tough to get seats in the small room unless u have reservations. So we sat at the bar and enjoyed the cool vibe/atmosphere. The Bartenders were cranking out cocktails 🍸🍹🍺. The lively place has lots of history to share so if u can get in, it’s worth a visit!

I ordered the lobster ravioli and toasted coconut shrimp and both were absolutely delicious! As a coffee lover, I also tried their coffee with coconut milk and I loved it. ☕️🥥 What truly made the experience unforgettable was our waitress, Yesenia. Her service was top-notch, friendly, and full of positive energy. My friends and I adored her attention to detail and warm personality. If you go, make sure to ask for Yesenia, she truly makes the difference and turns a great meal into an exceptional experience. Highly recommend! 🌟

The service and the environment was wonderful! The rooftop terrace had a chill ocean breeze and you could still listen to the live music playing downstairs through their speakers. The food menu is incredible! My friend got the NY Steak and I ordered the lobster ravioli. For starters we shared the ham croquetas and ceviche. Absolutely delicious! Would love to go back!

Nice place in the streets of old San Juan with a great Atmosphere, good stop if you need a break to get out of the sun with very detailed cocktail menu. Had the Claude and Sherry was clean with smooth finish with their rum. Should have tried on the rocks but was pressed for time but was happy with my choice.

A Hidden Gem in Puerto Rico! Scryer Rum is truly a hidden gem. Their house rum is absolutely delicious — smooth, rich, and unlike anything else I’ve tried. I’ve visited several whiskey distilleries across the U.S. and abroad, and this place easily ranks at the top of my list. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the passion behind their craft really shows in every detail. My only wish is that they could sell their rum directly on location, but beyond that, everything about the experience was outstanding. If you’re in Puerto Rico and enjoy spirits, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!

Delicious rum that tastes more like bourbon. Fun location. Mixed drinks are quite pricey and their spin on a pina colada left much to be desired. I'd love to get the rum at home for sipping.

You can tell people who were there were regulars and really loved being there. We will definitely return again on a weekend!!

We just happened to stop in for a drink. The atmosphere was great and the menu was enticing, so we ordered a variety of items to share between the 4 of us. EVERYTHING we tried was absolutely top notch! The chef/owners/staff were so welcoming and friendly. We ordered: Meatballs Beef and queso empanadas Sautéed pork tenderloin with beans and rice. We asked for an extra large container of beans and rice to go because it was really that good!

Above average service quality and decent food at regular prices. I’d go again. The ‘sancochito’ was not hot, it was lukewarm, however it had all the right flavors. Mofongo was bland and greasy, carne frita was cut too small and it was dry. Overall a decent eatery albeit the few mistakes. The mampostiao was very good. The ribeye was too thin for my taste.

We just went to Amadeus for the Valentine's dinner, it was a wonderful selection and we enjoyed the food and the music, as always a great service e, and the environment was very nice for the occasion. The menus were excellent the lobster and the beef Wellington were delicious. The dessert was a very nice delight!!!

I like this place. Only being here for lunch 3 times this year. Nice, comfortable and cozy place. Lunch special is ok, not great but could be b/c of the hurricane situation. Today was too salty. Two yrs ago had no complaint on the taste. Maybe is a different chef. Now the coffee! The coffee was terrible. I don't know why is bad, twice have been watery or too much milk, looks like using powder milk or they don't take care on doing it. This time I had to skip the coffee, this could be a great place to get excellent coffee and relax.

This small and elegant book store offers different coffee blends, unique small cooking cuisine with a variety of imported bottle beers and home made deserts. My wife and I love to salsa dance but this one is not it. The dance floor is like dancing in a curved hallway. The bartender was an amateur left all alone while his people just wandered between the back and the front staring at the line of patrons. The house band was good but they played for an hour. An hour, with a packed house. We showed up at 11:30 so we got 30 minutes of music for our cover. Nice. I'm not gonna lie and say I've been to clubs all over San Juan, but I'm sure there are better places than this.

One of the best places to go salsa dancing. Usually have a live orchestra playing. There's a cover charge when they have live music. Although lately it is so full that it is uncomfortable and people barely know how to conserve their space.
