Dundrum Town Centre is a prominent suburban shopping destination in Ireland, boasting an extensive array of shops and dining options. It features high-end department stores like House of Fraser and Harvey Nichols, as well as boutiques, sports supply outlets, and stores catering to children. The center's spacious and bright ambiance makes it an inviting place for visitors of all ages. Additionally, the nearby Mill Theatre, mini-golf park, and cinema provide ample entertainment opportunities for both adults and children.
An accessible shopping centre for people living in the City and South of Dublin. Houses a wide range of retail stores, has a big food court with sufficient seating and has many stand alone food outlets too. Has the Cinema, grocery stores, play areas. Perfect for the entire family.
Divya V — Google review
It is possibly one of the best shopping centers in all of Europe. The area is very safe, with excellent quality shops and dining options. The people here are of very good quality. It has access from different areas and even an electric train that goes to the center.

Dundrum shopping centre is a nice place to go for shopping or just stroll, had a cup of coffee. As we entered cold seasons I would avoid as possible to go there during weekend. Too crowded and too noisy, queue to coffee shops. Great that shops opened until 9 p. m during weekdays.
Inga G — Google review
Nice Shopping Centre which is well connected by Road and Tram. It has a great selection of outlets from M&S and Tesco to Pennys and Dunnes. Loads of eateries from a Food Court to Michelin Star Restaurants. my favourites are Cha Time for Boba, Umai for Sushi and the food carts for Churros and Doughnuts. The H&M kids, Easons, Pennys and Dunnes are great for shopping. Loads of Parking spread across multiple floors is great. A must visit if you live anywhere south of the Liffey.

A really world-class shopping centre. Beautiful and has all the shops one would need, including a Nandos! A fountain, crèche, good accessibility and a beautiful view of the mountains, this centre is my favourite in Ireland by far.

Beautiful experience, so big and clean. Some beautiful Christmas decorations up which were beautiful. 20 percent off in most shops today.

Very nice and big shopping centers ... various shops of different types of branded companies shops are available ... food court and different types of food stalls are available ... very crowded place ... nice place to visit with family and friends for shopping

Beautiful shopping centre. Very good shopping center for first time mothers. They have an outstanding baby room located on level 2M. It is magnificent. Kudos to you Dundrum. As a first time mother it mad me feel totally safe and secure. They have also interviewed a new sensory room also located on level 2M. It is fantastic and a lovely room to sit and relax in. You have e to book a time slot with the reception before entering the sensory room. Apart from the rooms Dundrum is a lovely centre to shop in, with easy car parking and very easy to navigate around. Dundrum holds a lot of high end retailers. With a great choice of restaurants and cafes. A very enjoyable experience for the whole family

Architectural Buildings
The Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Dublin is one of the most important religious landmarks in Ireland, and has been a part of the country's history for over 800 years. It is the largest cathedral in Ireland and is home to many beautiful stained glass windows, marble statues, and medieval tiles. The cathedral also plays an important role in literary pilgrimage, as Jonathan Swift once served as dean here.
Beautiful cathedral and park right outside. The stained glass throughout the building is breathtaking. I took one of the audio self guided tours, and that was a nice complement to the signage. I absolutely loved the interactive section - I’ve never seen anything like that in a cathedral, and that was incredible! We went up and bought tickets on the spot - no problem
Moira D — Google review
We purchased tickets in advance so there was no wait. It is such a beautiful cathedral. The architecture and history is amazing. There is a "quiet area" for reflection and prayer, however there lack of respect from other visitors for that area. There is a gift shop area, however most of the items there can be found in other shops around the city.
E G — Google review
St. Patrick’s Cathedral, with its rich history and breathtaking Gothic architecture, stands proudly in the heart of Dublin — a true masterpiece that instantly captures your attention. Upon arrival, you can easily purchase a ticket and enter without much waiting, allowing you to step right into a place that feels both grand and deeply spiritual. Before visiting, I highly recommend doing a bit of research about the cathedral’s fascinating past. Understanding its history makes the experience far more meaningful, as every corner of this magnificent structure is filled with intricate details and hidden stories. From the stunning stained-glass windows to the towering stone arches, you’ll find yourself mesmerized by the craftsmanship and atmosphere. At moments, you may even feel as though you’ve stepped into a scene from a Harry Potter film — the sense of mystery and wonder is that strong. I’ve visited many cathedrals around Europe, but I can honestly say that few have impressed me as much as St. Patrick’s. It’s remarkably well-preserved, unique in its character, and radiates an almost magical sense of timelessness. If you’re planning a trip to Dublin, this is one of the city’s most important landmarks — a place that absolutely deserves a spot on your itinerary. Don’t miss the chance to experience its beauty for yourself.

We purchased out tickets online ahead of time for an easier entry, and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour here. Audio guides were included with our basic admission but we chose to walk around without it just admiring the architecture and stained glass windows. This is a very neat cathedral, one of the best I've visited on my Europe trips. WAYYYY better than Dublin Castle!!
Alex B — Google review
Really a great visit. We were unable to explore the green due to weather, but the amount of information and things to see inside the cathedral was just amazing. There was so much about the history to read, and the memorials across the walls was such an interesting sight. I personally loved all the stained class. HIGHLY recommend getting there right at opening. You'll be able to beat the tourist groups by just a slim margin, but it makes all the difference. After tours arrived, it was chaotic and crowded, and the tourists were fairly impolite. Get there early and you'll enjoy it way more!
Maddy H — Google review
Visited on self-guided tour on a Monday morning. It wasn't too crowded and we were able to visit each part of the cathedral with space and time to learn about its history and it's stunning architecture at our own pace. Price of admission was either 8 or 10 euros, a steal for the experience.
Tara H — Google review
Worth a visit if you're interested in religion and history or even art. Beautiful building with great art work on the stained glass. Audio guide offered. Leaflet offered too and there are some guided tours depending on the time. Nice war memorials here too.
Laura S — Google review
As many other reviewers have said, it's a beautiful castle with lovely stained glass windows. There's an audio tour so that it can take it all in at your own pace. There's information about Jonathan Swift there as well. It's definitely worth a visit.

The National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, located on Kildare Street in Dublin, is a popular destination for travelers interested in exploring the country's rich history. The museum showcases a wide range of ancient Irish artifacts dating back to the Bronze Age and Middle Ages, many of which were discovered by rural farmers in the 19th century. In addition to its Irish collection, the museum also features special exhibits highlighting items from Ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece.
Free entry. Beautiful building. Gorgeous museum with historical items dating 1000s of years old. The architecture of the museum itself is worth a visit. It was very busy on Sunday so I'd recommend a weekday visit. Still, it wasn't too much bother with all the people either. No waiting to get in.
Michael — Google review
It was my second time visiting the National Museum and I still haven't been able to see all of it properly. It's a impressively dense museum with A LOT of great historical treasures. The viking section is mind blowing. The bog bodies are definitely the protagonists, spend at least an hour reading about this remarkable act of archeology and anthropology. The visit is free, which makes it even better. The architecture of the place is astonishing. The bathrooms were very clean.
Breno M — Google review
The National Museum on Kildare Street is a treasure. It's architecture mirrors that of the beautiful National Library right across the way, though inside, the two are very different. I loved the well-done Yeats exhibit with a video screen offering constantly shifting images as various voices read Yeats poems, and with an abundance of informative exhibits about Yeats' life and importance. The exhibit of beautiful manuscripts on loan from St. Gallen in Switzerland was also absolutely wonderful. In addition to having a chance to see a number of manuscripts written and illustrated by Irish monks as they evangelized the German-speaking lands, I loved seeing the artwork produced by Irish students inspired by these manuscripts. In an only-in-Ireland experience, too, one of the guards came up and talked to me and my companion about those manuscripts, giving us a detailed and impressive account of what they were about, the history they represented, and so on.

This is a great Irish Museum. There are lots of Irish artefacts. It's got lots of interesting info on our Irish History. It's a great place to visit. On display is the Ardagh Chalice and The Tara Brooch. There is also lots to see from The Viking Era. They also have great Viking artefacts too. It's a great way to spend a day!
Liz T — Google review
Really great free museum, even if you're not interested in the history at all the 100 year old mosaic floor is worth seeing. In my opinion the second floor was more interesting than the first so save some time for the second floor. This museum can take you longer to go through than you think.
Bo M — Google review
Brilliant museum with exhibitions from all of Ireland's major time periods. It starts you chronologically beginning with prehistoric ireland before taking you into the viking era and middle ages. The most famous exhibit here is the bog boddies which are located in the "kingship and sacrifice" section off to the left.
Noah D — Google review
Stopped in quickly but could have spent a lot more time looking around! Very cool to see the history of many different groups of people all throughout Ireland's history. Really appreciate the donation based entry, so it's always worth popping in you're in the area doing something else. Would highly recommend looking at the big bodies if you aren't too squeamish! They themselves and their histories are fascinating!
Samuel S — Google review
Incredible museum with great displays. Enjoyed the history and vast amount of artifacts. The illuminated manuscripts were every bit as impressive and more accessible than the Book of Kells, though maybe not as historically impactful. The bog bodies where also very impressively displayed and preserved. Still can’t believe admission was free.

The National Gallery of Ireland, located on Merrion Square, houses an impressive collection of European and Irish art spanning from the 14th to the 21st century. The gallery features works by renowned artists such as Vermeer, El Greco, Goya, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Monet and Picasso. Notably, it boasts an exceptional collection of Irish art including famous paintings by Jack B Yeats like 'The Liffey Swim'.
This is an amazing gallery. It is free to get in. You are allowed to take pictures but there are some painting that is clearly marked to not take pictures. The “The Meeting on the Turret Stairs” is a MUST see. This is in room 20 with the beautiful stained glass. The staff was phenomenal. Very kind and helpful. Knowledge about all of the art. There are three floors of art and the basement has a cafe.
Stephanie S — Google review
I am in awe. This gallery is so thoughtfully designed, complete with a cloakroom that has password-protected cubicles for belongings—no money required. There is also a creative space where visitors can sit down and explore their own artistic talents. It was a delight to see the works on display at the board. The gift shop was well stocked as well, with many intriguing titles on the book racks. Sadly, due to time constraints, I could not browse them more closely. And the collection itself? Simply stunning. This was my first visit, but I sincerely hope it will not be my last. A trip to Dublin could be justified solely for the chance to spend a leisurely afternoon in this beautifully curated gallery, which is also free to the public. There is so much to learn here, with descriptions that are highly informative. Whether you are an art enthusiast or simply someone who is easily moved by visual beauty, this place is a must-visit in Dublin.

I absolutely loved my visit to the National Gallery of Ireland! It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place, right in the heart of Dublin. The building itself is stunning — bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. You can easily spend several hours wandering through the different wings, and every room feels inviting and well-curated. The collection is impressive, with a wonderful mix of Irish and European art. I especially enjoyed the Irish works — it was fascinating to see how the country’s history and culture come through in the paintings. There are also well-known pieces by artists like Vermeer, Caravaggio, and Monet, which was an amazing surprise. Each section has clear descriptions that make it easy to understand the stories and context behind the artworks, even for someone who isn’t an art expert. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the gallery felt very calm and well-organized. Admission was free, which made it even better, but it’s the kind of place I’d happily pay to visit. There’s also a lovely gift shop and a nice café where you can relax after exploring. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone spending time in Dublin — whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a peaceful, inspiring experience. I left feeling refreshed and grateful that such a wonderful gallery is open to the public. Highly recommend!

Visiting the National Gallery was one of the highlights of my trip to Dublin. First of all, it's free. So even if you end up spending only an hour or so because it is not your thing; you didn't have to pay. There are many services available in the museum such as large and spacious toilets, a free cloakroom and lockers, a café and a wonderful giftshop with a wide arrange of quality gifts. The museum was much larger then I anticipated. I must admit I got lost a few times because the layout is a bit confusing but that was also part of the fun, just wandering around and exploring. They have a wonderful collection, I think there is something there for everyone to enjoy. To my suprise a lot of works from Dutch painters such as Vermeer, Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Steen. As a Dutch person that was fun to see. Staff was super friendly, I had a long chat with one of the staff about the collection and different paintings. I went there on a friday morning right when it opened so it was nice and quiet and the staffmember had all the time to talk. I had a wonderful time and will absolutely put this on my itinerary again for a future trip.

Amazing museum with incredible paintings exhibitions. I got lost in time here with so many art you can see. The museum is free admission and very well organised. Staff are very friendly and helpful Definitely worth a visit
Happydays — Google review
I enjoyed my time at the National Gallery of Ireland, even if the person staffing the information and welcome desk seemed a bit distracted and unwelcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day. The gallery's collection surprised me a bit. Though at least one section advertises European art, almost everything in it is Irish — and that's fine with me, just surprising given the label. I very much enjoyed seeing the work of Irish artists throughout the gallery, almost all of them unknown to me. The gallery's collection of Irish art is strong, and that's as it should be, it seems to me. The display rooms are also pleasant, airy, well-lit with skylights and large windows (in rooms where there aren't paintings to protect from the sunlight, that is). The gift shop on the ground floor is also very nice, with a nice selection of books, post cards, replicas of art work, and gifts.
William L — Google review
Visiting the National Gallery is a must. First of all, it's free, so even if you don't have a lot of time, you can just go and check out the place for a little bit, because it's so worth it. If you can get some free time though, I would suggest you spend it in the gallery. As for me, even though I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of art, I wish I had more time there — I found myself getting goosebumps again and again. The only “problem” for me was that there were some school groups visiting, and the students were talking very loudly. That’s something I think security could control better, for a more in-depth experience. Having headphones on would definitely enhance the experience. They provide free lockers for your stuff, which is very convenient.
Όλγα Α — Google review
Couldn’t ask for anything more, and it’s all free! Never ending galleries of all kinds, historical European pieces and photographs from as recent as 2025. Creative space for kids. There’s something for everyone.

Nestled in Dublin's charming antiques quarter, Two Pups is a delightful gem within the 74 Francis Street Collective. This cozy café not only serves up exceptional coffee but also boasts a thoughtfully curated food menu. One standout dish is their vibrant avocado toast, artfully presented on Levain sourdough and enhanced with garlic butter, pickled vegetables, and toasted peanuts—a true treat for the taste buds!
Beat brunch in all of Dublin. Food came quickly and we didn’t even have to reserve any seats. The pastry’s were great. The best Shakshuka I’ve ever had in my life and the sourdough is so unbelievably fluffy and soft. The waiters all had really cool and unique style. They all seemed really happy to be there and jolly which we love to see. Definitely coming back for more so sad I don’t live in Dublin though.

It was quiet at 9 am in the morning. We had to figure out the routine. Get a table - go back and order or do it with QR code and mention your table number. Nice selection of breakfast pastries and croissants. The avocado and egg was delicious. Cappuccinos were not hot enough - they didn’t seem to be at any place so…Nice place for a brunch with good ambiance and delicious food. Music was different. Pictures reflect almond croissant and a morning bun.

Super spot at the Kevin St end of Francis St - a street which has changed so much since I was a student in the 90s. Now it's home to buzzy neighborhood cafes and cool pubs such as Liberty Belle. Two pups is a cafe by day and then pivots to a wine bar at night. If the cafe is anything to go by, the wine bar is a must visit on my next trip. My Turkish eggs were first class and the granola was equally delicious, the peanut was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and efficient. Give this place a try - it's worth every penny.

If I could give a million stars I would!! Staff are amazing , food is spectacular , shout out also to the bold boy bakery ppl the pastries are unreal!! We stayed at the Hyatt Liberties across the street. The coffee/espresso was largely undrinkable, the yoghurt/fruit/peanut butter was delish. Our favorite coffee place in Dublin City was Insomnia Coffee...great on the way in at the airport, and great the next day after trying 2 Pups. I love coffee/espresso, and have over 300 days in Italia enjoying it there consistently...plenty of the **** hotels we stay in there use commercial Illy or Nespresso machines/coffee which provide a great and consistent result. Food for thought.

Wow… this place really knows how to do a breakfast by far one of the best in Dublin and a special shout out to Karen who looked after us. Such a cool quirky place with the best food, pastry’s and coconut lattes! Highly recommended and looking forward to eating there again when I’m in Dublin.

Absolutely loved Two Pups! The food was incredible. I ordered the Oyster Mushroom Brioche and honestly didn’t expect a vegetarian dish to be that full of flavour. It almost tasted like chicken! The Shakshuka was another highlight - rich, perfectly spiced sauce served with warm, fresh bread. We finished with an apple caramel cruffin, and it was pure heaven, totally finger-licking good. There’s usually a queue outside, but we only waited about 5 minutes (especially easy if you’re just two people). Totally worth it though, highly recommend this place!

We were in the neighborhood and decided to drop in for a coffee and a small bite. Unfortunately, for us, it was shortly after 3pm and the cafe closes at 3:30pm. We would have loved to try out one of their dishes on the menu but settled quickly for a coffee and one of the last croissants and morning buns. Both were delicious and left us wanting for more. Hope to be back to sample some of the dishes when we are in Dublin again.

FIRE Steakhouse Restaurant & Bar Dublin is housed in a stunning Victorian building, originally the Lord Mayor's supper room, now transformed into an opulent dining space with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. The menu features locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection, offering a variety of meat, vegetarian options, and seafood. Their specialty lies in their jumbo prawn starter and a special steak menu featuring marinated beef cuts that are sure to delight any meat lover.
We had a three-course meal and absolutely loved every dish—10 out of 10! The steak was perfectly cooked, everything was delicious, and the service was great. The environment was lovely too. Although our table was in a bit of an awkward spot near the walkway, it was understandable since we didn’t have a booking. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Beautiful experience and the food was very good. The people were also very friendly but we did wait for almost an hour for the main course after they picked our starters. Nevertheless, still highly recommended
Adrian M — Google review
Lovely experience. The first thing you will notice is the lovely smell when you enter the doors. On the lower floor there is a bar area and a separate entrance for cigar smoking. All dinning is upstairs and there is an elevator if needed. The ambiance is calm and soothing. There are two dinning areas. The larger one is the main room and it is large but not too noisy. The other area was closed off for a private event. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Reservations are hard to get and the time you have at the table is limited.

10/10 Experience! This is the perfect spot for a nice evening meal in Dublin, or to celebrate something special. Came here with a friend for dinner, and even the walk up to the restaurant felt luxurious. Staff were all lovely and accommodating, we were given a table in the middle of the room. The decor gives a velvety rich evening feel, with low lights making a perfect atmosphere. I had the fillet steak, with thick cut chips, and a glass of their recommended red wine. My friend had the T-bone steak and bone marrow. Despite looking small, the steak was the perfect size for me. I was sceptical to try bone marrow but it was delicious! The presentation was beautiful, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The pepper sauce was rich and delicious. Overall a perfect experience, great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Halle — Google review
Overrated. €60 for a steak and not even a bit of veg or garnish with it. Chips were overcooked and too crispy, and the sauce had a slimey layer on top after being left sitting under a heat lamp. The steak itself was nice and cooked perfectly but it lacked seasoning, and for the price you'd expect a lot better. It's a lovely restaurant, decorated nicely with a good ambience. But I pay for nice food not nice atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend it

🔥 🔥 🔥 Set within the historic Mansion House on Dawson Street an opulent scene with vaulted ceilings, stunning stained glass, and that iconic terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden. If you’re after elegant atmosphere, flawless service, and mouthwatering food, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is where Dublin , rises to the occasion. This place wows from the moment you walk in once the Lord Mayor’s “Supper Room,” the space now dazzles with its soaring 19th-century architecture and artful lighting . I had the sirloin steak which was one of the best rare steaks I have ever had, it was excellent. The goats cheese starter and prawns were also 🔥. The front-of-house crew deliver a seamless blend of warmth and professionalism.

I found the waiter to be quite abrupt. The food was really nice although I would suggest a bread basket for the table instead of a half piece of bread each. The dessert was incredible. Wasn’t as loud as I expected it to be in there which was good. It was a very nice touch to get a little plate for my birthday. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

Library Street Restaurant is a part of the Unlisted Collection, known for its convivial atmosphere and contemporary Irish cuisine. The dining room is light-filled with dried flower garlands and terrazzo floors, offering a modern take on traditional Irish cooking. Chef Kevin Burke focuses on carefully sourced local produce to create small and larger plates for sharing. The restaurant opened in November 2021 and has quickly become one of the most anticipated spots in town.
Library Street is a complete and utter gem tucked away beside the car park off Dawson Street. This unassuming establishment serves up some of the most interesting and delicious dishes I’ve had in Dublin City. The truest standout for me is their creative take on the humble Oyster. Unlike any that I’ve had before. I would absolutely be recommending this spot to anyone looking for tasty and exciting meal in the city

You can eat very well in Dublin, and this place is an example. It is on the dearest side, but it makes up for the quality, simplicity, and inventiveness of the recipes with a very good service. Perfect for occasions like birthdays, celebrations, or even for classic Thursday night diner if your budget allows it. I recommend this place. (Specially the gnocchi and rabbit roll) Only downside: if you serve an unprepared fish like turbot, specify it on the menu, sauce on the side, and an extra plate for the bones.

Avoid . Overpriced and underwhelming food Atmosphere felt like a staff canteen in a tech company . Except you would get far better food for free at a tech company canteen Under seasoned food. The gnocchi needed either more lemon/ lime or spicy flavours . Same goes for nearly every dish we ordered . Bland, bland and zero flavour . Go to Tescos or Aldi and their ready meals taste a lot better .The only dish I can recommend is the cabbage. A stark difference in service quality and food when I first came in 2022. Don’t bother coming here , plenty of better restaurants in Dublin . Overpriced for what is essentially canteen food . Gnocchi was rubbery and over cooked . Oysters were rancid and acidic , quail was delicious , most of the starters ( we ordered nearly all of them ) lacked flavour and were the equivalent of a supermarket reqdy meal . Most of the meal tasted like it was supermarket bought and reheated in the microwave . Cocktail menu very poor and limited. Overall all the dishes were very bland , under seasoned. Service was very rushed . Plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity like Pichet that are far better value and much better service . Wouldn’t go back . Go elsewhere

Is always a pleasure to return to Library Street. It's simply like being at home sharing a meal with family, but at the same time enjoying a mix of flavors and colors on another level. What the chef does in this place is art. Is recommended to book in advance, we had an issue with our reservation, that we thought we did it but we didn't, the girl at the entrance was very kind to help with it. One of my favorite is the chargrilled cabbage with kimchi, and their sheep's milk blood orange is so good.
Maura T — Google review
Library Street impresses with dishes that balance creativity and flavour. The small starters set a confident tone, while the venison en croute was a standout — perfectly cooked and full of depth. The chargrilled sweetheart cabbage, with its kimchi sauce and Dukkuh topping, was an unexpected star and a must-try. The pork chop felt less distinctive, but the chocolate dessert with espresso ice cream ended the meal on a high, layered and indulgent. Overall, it showcases thoughtful cooking that celebrates bold flavours without overcomplicating the plate.

A cool date night spot in Dublin City. It is not your typical dinner spot however it is certainly something to try. The vibe of this tucked away, hidden bar/restaurant is intimate and moody. Food is decent however I felt that the focus is on presentation. I recommend checking them out for your next date night.

Never had a pork chop this tender and juicy before. Every dish was excellent. Pricing is very reasonable. Service attentive and the space is cosy but feels open from the high ceiling. The morel veloute could be slightly thicker so it can accompany the pork chop more easily.

Great atmosphere, super service. Food is very good with nice surprises and flavors. I’d expect more main choices but that’s ok. Dessert was wow - so delicate and tasty at the same time. Price is on the high end.

Middle Eastern restaurant
Tang, located in Cumberland Place, Dublin, offers a delightful fusion of Middle-Eastern inspired cuisine with an Irish twist. The restaurant is a popular choice for breakfast and lunch, known for its friendly service and delectable food. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, the bustling atmosphere adds to the charm of the place. While closed on Sundays, Tang's menu is perfect for a weekend brunch. Despite occasional kitchen hiccups, the staff remains attentive and accommodating.
The price is beyond reasonable for the quality and quantity. The service is stellar, staff are so friendly and look after you so well, even going as far as to offer to describe the more exotic things on the menu if they can tell you’re maybe new to the place. Whether it’s for breakfast or lunch this is one of the best spots in town. Haven’t tried dinner here yet but I’ve heard great things. Coffee is very on-point too. Always a stop when I’m in town. Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. The price for the eggs on toast feels like a steal. 10/10

Tang is hands down my favourite restaurant. We are regulars at Saturday brunch (pancakes for me and mushrooms on toast for him every time, as evidenced by the photos). Special shout-out to the filter coffee with a free refill. Our special occasions are celebrated with a dinner at Tang. The grilled halloumi is one of my faves. I think if I ate their chicken flatbread for lunch every day I’d die a happy gal. I love the atmosphere here and the staff are always cheery and friendly. To top it off, getting to eat my favourite food at ATN last weekend was so good I had to go back for seconds. Always so tasty, fresh, filling and delicious. I ❤️ tang

I got chai and flatbread with all veggies, lamb and beetroot sauce for lunch. Chai was not like normally Indian friends make for me but it was nice. Food was amazing! My friend had salad there and I should go back there to try it! Location was perfect! It was sunny day so we had lunch at dining area just outside restaurant.

Such a great neighborhood cafe with great coffee and food! The yogurt with granola was amazing! I always order that for breakfast but this one was so unique with the pears and the butter. They have a few branches, I likes this one right after yoga.

Dublin Castle, dating back to 1204, is a historic site that has played a significant role in Ireland's history for over 800 years. The castle features state rooms and apartments that have accommodated prominent historical figures, along with a 19th-century coach house, an army barracks from 1811, and a 13th-century Norman Tower. Visitors can explore the gardens, museum, library, and chapel free of charge.
The guided tour was well worth it. The tour guide was very informative and clearly passionate on the subject. It was awesome to watch the place come alive as we were learning the history of it! Guided tour is the only way you can see the chapel, which was cool to see the Protestant chapel converted which Catholicism over it through Stations of the Cross. Behind it, there is a beautiful park - be sure to check it out!

Lovely visit. Did the self guided State Apartments tour. Not bad for €8. Quick tour, 30-45 minutes. Lovely interior. Audio guide provided a nice level of history without being boring. The placards provided detailed information. Went early so wasn't too crowded.

With our English heritage membership, we were able to see this castle for free. The staterooms were gorgeous, you need to see the pictures to believe how beautiful. We visited during an NFL event, so it was a bit louder, and busier. Also, Google had the wrong entrance.
Sher P — Google review
The visit takes around 30 minutes, but I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you’re deeply interested in old paintings. Most of the rooms display traditional artwork, and after a while it all feels quite similar. The castle itself, however, is beautiful from the outside — it’s definitely worth walking around the grounds, enjoying the view, and taking some great photos of the building and its surroundings.
Martynas J — Google review
Beautiful rooms but a very short area to explore for the money for entrance. £8 to go in solo but was round in half an hour. Beautiful artworks. If you are expecting a castle with battlements cannon etc this is not for you, this castle is a Statley home like Windsor in the UK. Very opulent. Very glam.

Wasn't going to but did the guided tour and I'm so glad I did. Our guide (Burt? Belgian gentleman) was fantastic. Full of everything we wanted to know and heap more on top. Tour takes around an hour but you get to see loads. Time after the tour to back round and take pics apart from the Chapel. Well worth the visit

For the price, it’s a really nice activity tho I would compare it more to a palace than a castle. We didn’t book tickets and came at the opening in the morning, it was already a bit busy. You can listen or read the self guide which was nice, clear and informative. Staff was welcoming. Tour took us around ~40/45minutes
Theodora A — Google review
Astonishing place of Irish history that I wasn't aware of. The castle contains several rooms, mostly dedicated to the use they gave it during British rule and also a timeline of Ireland's heads of state You can tell what the state's position is about language and religious diversity in this place, but also how unfair was the situation during the great famine.

Place of worship
Christ Church Cathedral is a medieval place of worship in Dublin, Ireland. It has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when the first Christianized Danish king built a wooden church at the site. The present stone structure was constructed around 1200 and underwent extensive renovations in the 19th century, giving it a Victorian appearance. The cathedral features a crypt that measures over 60 meters in length and has served various purposes throughout its lifetime, including as a marketplace and pub.
Located just barely a kilometre away from the so called iconic Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral is an architectural gem that commands both reverence and admiration. The soaring spires, intricately carved stone façade, and centuries-old Gothic-Romanesque blend make it a breathtaking sight for anyone with even a passing interest in history or design. Though I chose not to venture inside due to the rather steep €11 entrance fee, the exterior alone is worth the visit. The surrounding grounds are serene and beautifully maintained, with thoughtfully placed park benches that offer a perfect vantage point to soak in the cathedral's grandeur. Whether you're pausing for a moment of quiet reflection or simply taking in the skyline, the atmosphere here feels timeless. A must-see landmark for those exploring central Dublin—steeped in history, magnificently preserved, and easily accessible on foot from the heart of the city.

We visited Christ Church Friday, September 12. It was a wet and cool day so we did not walk around the gardens. The church is incredible on the outside and in. You pay an admission fee to enter and take the self-guided tour. They provide a pamphlet to read as you move from room to room with great information about the history and use of the space. The main level is stunning. Beneath, you venture into the medieval crypt. This was amazing. Christ Church is completely worth the time and small fee.

We visited on a cloudy Sunday afternoon and wasn't too busy. It was €12 to get in but 50 cents cheaper if you booked online. There is an audio tour you can download to your phone for free. The building is beautiful and the grounds are pretty. The audio tour is very helpful to get the most out of your visit.

Christ Church Cathedral is one of Dublin’s most striking landmarks - the architecture is incredible even just from the outside. Dating back to around 1030, it’s the city’s oldest medieval cathedral and still commands attention with its Gothic stonework, towers, and arched bridge linking the buildings. Even if you don’t go inside, it’s worth the stop - the grounds are well kept, and the setting gives you a real sense of old Dublin’s history right in the middle of the modern city.
EzADivat — Google review
Stunning piece of Dublin’s history and architecture. The cathedral is beautifully preserved, with incredible stonework and a peaceful atmosphere inside. The crypt beneath is fascinating, filled with artifacts and stories from centuries past. The staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit whether you’re into history, architecture, or just want a quiet moment in the heart of the city.
Lam N — Google review
One of my favorite attractions in Dublin. This medieval cathedral is absolutely breathtaking and we neatly had the whole place to ourselves. The stained glass and stone work is absolutely gorgeous. You're also free to explore the crypt which houses countless precious-metal artifacts, the Christchurch copy of the Magna Carta, and the famous cat and rat, or "Tom and Jerry" as I heard some locals jokingly call them. According to radiocarbon dating, a mouse jumped into the church's pipe organ almost 200 years ago to escape a cat, who dived in after the mouse and got stuck. The lack of oxygen in the pipe organ led to the mummificaton of both animals over many decades.

Walking through the doors, you can't help but feel a sense of awe at the architecture. The history that is embedded within the walls is remarkable, making you feel small in comparison. Sunlight pours in through the massive stained glass windows, creating beautiful patterns across the stone floors. It's a truly breathtaking experience to witness the cathedral's grandeur. You can almost feel the echoes of prayers and stories from centuries ago. 12€ / person entrance 01.08.2025 🇨🇮🫶💯👌🌍🌎🌏🗺

We visited this beautiful cathedral in the morning on a Saturday. We used our gocity pass to visit. It is truly beautiful! We really enjoyed touring and learning the history of this beautiful place of worship. It is still an active place of worship. There is an audio guide and also a written guide that will educate you about the different aspects of the cathedral. There are beautiful stained glass windows! You should definitely take the time to tour.

The Ha'penny Bridge, a refurbished 19th-century cast-iron span, is an iconic symbol of Dublin and a popular crossing for thousands of pedestrians daily. It offers a delightful opportunity to immerse oneself in the city's vibrant atmosphere and scenic waterfront along the picturesque River Liffey. The bridge's charming ironwork and historical significance make it a welcoming gateway to Dublin's cultural and commercial districts, providing splendid views and enchanting photo opportunities.
Lot of bridges in the same area, but each looks different Opened in May 1816, the bridge originally named Wellington Bridge after the Duke of Wellington (born in Dublin). It replaced a fleet of seven ferries operated by William Walsh after local officials demanded either repairs or a bridge 🛶 . • Constructed from cast iron, with its components cast at the Coalbrookdale foundry in Shropshire and shipped to Dublin for assembly under the supervision of John Windsor

Beautiful historic bridge in the heart of Dublin. It’s a quick crossing, but full of charm and character, with great views of the River Liffey on both sides. Very busy with tourists taking photos, so it can get crowded, but that’s part of the atmosphere. A must-see landmark if you’re exploring the city.

The Ha’penny Bridge, officially called the Liffey Bridge, is a famous pedestrian bridge in Dublin, Ireland. It was built in 1816 by John Windsor and cast in Shropshire, England. The bridge replaced old ferry services that crossed the River Liffey. People originally had to pay a half-penny toll (hence the nickname “Ha’penny”) to cross it. The toll ended in 1919, and today it’s one of Dublin’s best-known landmarks, symbolizing the city’s charm and history

Situated on Mary Street, Jervis Shopping Centre is a bustling multilevel mall featuring over 55 brand-name stores and casual eateries. It has solidified its position as one of Dublin's most successful shopping destinations, offering a diverse range of fashion, leisure, and technology outlets along with an expanding selection of dining options.
A Jervis shopping center is located in the heart of Dublin city center, with all its advantages and disadvantages! Parking is relatively easy but also very expensive! So if someone doesn't want to pay 15 euros for a day's parking, they should try using public transport! Unfortunately, due to the city center location, there are many homeless people and some sketchy individuals in the plaza. However, the center itself is clean and has a good selection, and we are easily in the city where more shops are available.

JD Sports, Bershka, Stradivarius, New Look, Topshop, Best Menswear Currys, Superdrug are few of the outlets. Parking available at €15 Toilets were well-maintained.
Chitrangee C — Google review
A lively and convenient shopping centre right in the heart of Dublin. Jervis Shopping Centre has a great mix of shops, from popular high-street brands to smaller boutiques. The layout is easy to navigate, and the central location makes it ideal for combining shopping with a stroll through the city centre. There’s a good choice of cafés and food options, making it a nice place to take a break during a day in town. The atmosphere is always buzzing — especially at weekends — but it generally feels safe and well managed. The facilities are kept clean, lifts and escalators work reliably, and there’s usually a friendly vibe among both staff and shoppers. It can get quite busy at peak hours, but that’s part of its city-centre energy. A solid, reliable shopping destination with something for everyone — from clothes and tech to food and homeware. Great spot to pick up a few bits or spend a couple of hours browsing. 🛍️☕
Charlie J — Google review
Jervis Shopping Centre is a top-pick when you want convenience, variety and a bit of Dublin’s energy in one place. Located centrally in the city, it’s easy to reach whether you’re shopping, meeting friends or just exploring. You’ll find a little bit of everything: fashion, tech, toys, food — all in one building rather than hopping between streets. What stands out is how the space blends into the city’s history: the building has character and it doesn’t feel like just another mall. Inside, it’s bright, clean and well laid-out, and there’s enough choice that you can spend an hour just browsing or two hours looking for something specific. If I’m honest, it does get busy and a bit crowded at peak times, so if you prefer slower shopping, going early or late afternoon is better. But if you’re up for the buzz, Jervis delivers — and it’s the kind of place where you can walk in with a mission, grab what you need, maybe do a little extra, and still feel like you had a good outing.
Juracy J — Google review
For being in the middle of Dublin, the countries capital, the lack of accessibility is astounding. For one there was no ramp that I could find to get inside, only steps, they also had no access to any wheelchair or mobility rental like much smaller cities in fact have. Staff were not helpful on anywhere close by I could possibly rent one so I didn’t even get to go around. Even when I finally have my own wheelchair I will not be back.

Jervis Shopping Centre is one of the best shopping destinations in Dublin! The variety of stores is fantastic — from fashion to electronics and everything in between. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. The centre is always clean, well-organized, and has plenty of dining options for a perfect break during shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes shopping stress-free. I love coming here because it has everything I need all in one place. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

The Molly Malone Statue in Dublin is a bronze depiction of the fictional fishmonger from the well-known Irish song. Situated in the city's Georgian Quarter on Suffolk Street, this statue attracts hordes of tourists daily who are drawn to its connection with Irish folklore. Although the real Molly Malone may have looked different, this iconic monument has become a symbol of Dublin and is a popular spot for visitors to take selfies.

Stopped by Molly Malone because, well… when in Dublin, right? The statue is iconic—she’s got that look like she knows all your secrets and the best place for a pint. There's something oddly inspiring about a bronze fishmonger with more selfies taken than most influencers. Crowds? Yes. But that’s part of the charm—it's like waiting in line to meet royalty (if royalty sold seafood). Bonus points for the tour guides nearby who always have a joke ready, whether you want it or not. Definitely worth a visit, a photo, and maybe a gentle pat on the, er… well, you’ll see. 😂

The Book of Kells Experience is a must-see attraction in Dublin, Ireland. Housed at Trinity College, this ancient manuscript dating back to 800 AD contains illuminated illustrations of the Christian Gospels. The college itself, established over 400 years ago during Queen Elizabeth's reign, offers a tranquil escape from the city center's hustle and bustle.
HISTORIC BOOK! Interesting process on how it was created, handed down, and preserved. The long hall( library was amazing). Evolution of mapping. Wonderful that these historic volumes are being carefully taken care of and digitalized for the whole worldto access. Thoroughly enjoyed the debate between iconic busts in the second half!

The whole experience was pretty well done. The best part of course seeing the Book of Kells. The library was incredible. Unfortunately most of the books were removed for renovation, but enough were still there to get the feel of it. The red building at the end was a full immersive experience - that made me dizzy and nauseous. I wish I could’ve purchased a ticket without the red building (just the book of Kells and the library), but the option wasn’t available. Recommend buying tickets online in advance to get your preferred timed entry.
Emily P — Google review
A truly fascinating and culturally rich experience that offers a deep insight into one of Ireland’s greatest treasures. The Book of Kells Experience combines history, art, and spirituality in a beautifully curated exhibition that captures the skill and devotion of the monks who created this masterpiece over a thousand years ago. The exhibition itself is well laid out, with clear storytelling and impressive visuals that explain the creation of the manuscript and its incredible detail. The lighting, atmosphere, and overall presentation make it easy to appreciate both the artistry and the reverence behind the book. The short film at the start gives great context and helps visitors understand just how remarkable the work is. The real showstopper, however, is the Long Room Library — one of the most breathtaking spaces in Dublin, if not the world. Walking through it feels like stepping back in time. The scale, the scent of old wood and books, and the sheer sense of history are unforgettable. The only slight downside is that it can get quite busy, which makes it harder to take in the exhibits at your own pace. The display area for the Book of Kells itself is smaller than expected, and you don’t get much time to linger. A few more interactive or modern interpretive elements would really enhance the experience, especially for younger visitors or families. Still, this is an essential stop for anyone visiting Dublin — an inspiring reminder of Ireland’s deep scholarly and artistic heritage, and a beautifully preserved piece of world history. Well worth seeing once in a lifetime. 🇮🇪📖✨

Amazing. Do this. Go here. First of all, the place looks little phenomenal. Its really really interesting and super well built with tons of history and cool facts in every tiny crevice of the campus. And even better is that the tour guides know these details and they di give you a really good overview of everything. Additionally, the old library is a magnificent sight. With the atlas sculpture and the harp! Really really cool!

The university grounds are truly impressive. I recommend walking around – there are several cafés where you can get food at quite student-friendly prices. The Book of Kells is interesting, but the library itself is far more breathtaking. It’s a bit disappointing that only a few books are currently on display, as most were removed for renovation. I highly recommend getting your tickets in advance.

The experience is pretty good. If you are into history and/or architecture then you will enjoy it. I went on the free student pass and you do need to book in advance but then there was no wait to get in. The audio guide is pretty good. The app doesn't currently work with the latest android version, but there is an online version. The 2nd part of the visit was also pretty immersive, as were the projected short films. The only unfortunate part is that most of the books have been removed for preservation.
Kartik S — Google review
This experience was topping my Dublin bucket list and I was certainly not disappointed. Recommended for all history lovers. There are different price ranges in regards to the tickets, so you bettee have a look before you buy the first one you see. Friendly staff. Btw, it is not allowed to take photos of the Book itself, don't even try!

Irish pub
O'Neills Pub & Kitchen is a historic venue located in Dublin, with a layout that includes a rooftop beer garden and antique fittings. The pub has been licensed for over 300 years and is situated near the Temple Bar Cultural Quarter and Trinity College. It prides itself on serving high-quality traditional Irish food and drink in a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes such as the full Irish breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients.
We visited the pub on a sunny Sunday around 5:30 PM, and there were still plenty of free tables. Inside, it’s quite dark but very cozy and inviting. We ordered two beers with our food. The Shepherd’s Pie (€18.25) was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Some of the meat was nicely seared and crispy — for me, it was the best Shepherd’s Pie I’ve ever had. The Beef Stew with Guinness (€18.25) had a rich, hearty flavor. As a small side, it came with very tasty green beans and carrots, along with a few potatoes. The stew also had large chunks of carrot and celery, which added a unique and wonderful flavor. It was served with a side of bread and butter. The toilets were clean, and the staff was very kind and friendly. If we’re ever in Dublin again, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Love the old school pub vibe here. Amazing food! We had cottage pie, potato and leek soup, the number nine pizza, and the spicy nachos. All were delicious and huge portions. You just walk in, find a table, and order food at the bar. We went Tuesday night at 7:30 and found lots of open tables and seating.

This pub was recommended on the internet, and it was good. You order at the bar, and they bring you the food. They have a great variety of drinks and the food was delicious. Would recommend! They also have live music in the evening, but we didn‘t stay for that.

Our first meal in Dublin (lunch) and it was amazing! We had Irish stew, Guinness stew, tomato soup, and cottage pie. All were very tasty. It's self service was rather easy and nice. Order at the bar and get a # to put on the table. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times on my trip to Dublin. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. Ray and Usain are great guys who made me feel comfortable and welcome the whole time….just don’t try to show them pictures of waterfalls ;)

We came to this place looking for traditional Irish fare and boy o boy did they not disappoint. It’s open tables and order at bar. We ordered the Beef nachos, cottage pie and beef casserole. Everything was amazing with great flavor. If you are in Dublin, do drop by and you would relish the food.

The service was great. I had a grilled chicken Ceasars salad that had bacon in it which was different but actually good. The other burgers we ordered were also delicious. The atmosphere was fun in the lower bar. If you want a quieter place to talk go to an upper level. There are many floors with steps to use the bathroom so that may be an issue for some. The guy that played the guitar was amazing and had our bunch of girls singing and dancing all night. I would definitely go here again!

Sunday night as tourist: nice and huge pub to grab some beers with friends. It is a self service pub. Friendly staff and some nice live music. For being a Sunday was very nice but not so full. We ordered some nachos as snack. I guess because of the time, the food menu was more limited. Nachos were good enough. Definitely a bar that I would visit again.

Restaurant
The Winding Stair is a charming Irish restaurant located in an airy room with a view of the River Liffey and features a downstairs bookshop. The restaurant has made a comeback, offering outdoor dining on a terrace overlooking the river. Access to this hidden gem is through a secret door on the first floor, and its menu is a collaboration of popular dishes from The Winding Stair and its sister restaurant, The Legal Eagle.
Excellent restaurant. Food, ambiance and service was incredible. My friend and I were able to get a walk in which we were so appreciative for. The service was attentive and food was delicious! We started with Winding Stair Fish Plate, and I had the Doyle’s seam bream which was cooked to perfection. Please be mindful there several steep flight of stairs to reach the restaurant. We had a wonderful experience at this charming restaurant and reservations are highly recommended.

The Winding Stair offers beautifully prepared cuisine in an environment both rustic and elevated. The extensive wine menu pairs perfectly with the fresh, seasonal offerings. Plates are great for sharing. It’s always so special when food, wine, service and atmosphere all work together to provide a fantastic experience. Our best dining experience in Dublin.

Great lunch spot with traditional Irish dishes done really well and a good drink selection. The Scotch Egg is superb! I love the ambiance, being it’s on the second floor of the book store with a view of the river. And the staff is very friendly and quick.

Come hungry because the food is so good. They also had a good selection of wine. Not really any cocktails if that’s what you’re going for but for us we didn’t mind. Service was also really great and even gave us recommendations for our after dinner spot.

Service was via the invisible waitress. The manager couldn't care less. He was most concerned with informing me that they had no Guinness. I had the lamb that was tasty but extremely hard to chew.
Scott E — Google review
Looked forward to a birthday meal here as part of our trip to Dublin so made a reservation for 2. Thoroughly disappointed, really, quite the letdown. When we arrived, the waitress didn't hear us with the full name of the reservation (the shreaking of American tourists didn't help), and asked us to repeat. We misunderstood and thought first name only, to which she then ridiculed us and said there were a lot of people with that name and that it didn't help. We were then seated adjacent to another table of 2. By adjacent, I mean, we were essentially joining them on a table of four - separated only by a pillar, with both diners sat right next to us. They were uncomfortable, and so were we. During the meal, tables were moved to fit in as many diners as possible - it was almost factory like, at the expense of comfort (and to a degree, personal space and dignity). We ordered a bottle of Zweigelt/Pinot Noir, one of my favourites, but it was vinegary and unpleasant. Certainly not what I am used to from the vineyards of Austria. The starter was charcuterie to share. Our waitress advised that, although it's charcuterie, it doesn't come with any cheese and that this would be an added extra. In fact, it was a small platter with a few slices of cured meat and three pieces of toast, with a random side salad. We were offered rapeseed oil for the toast, not olive oil. It was all quite bizarre. I've prepared better charcuterie platters for guests at my house with produce from a well-known European grocery store. Mains were Irish Black Angus striploin which was tasty but an average steak at best. It was at least cooked medium rare as requested. Vegetables on the side were beyond aldente, rather they were in fact raw. The chips were salted to oblivion and back, and looked more like oven style than homemade. The other main was Wicklow lamb - no option to choose how it was cooked (any sort of quality lamb should be served medium rare, but the question should at least be asked and it wasn't). It came with gristle running through, was tough and again bland in taste served with halved new potatoes parboiled and fried, again all bland - more raw vegetables to boot. Total meal price for two was €160. We had high hopes given the reviews but they must reflect the American clientele with a supremely limited experience of cuisine - easily pleased, there for the photo opportunity and quaint surroundings, more than the meal for which they're paying. One saving grace - the manager/owner followed us out to hand back some debit cards that had fallen out of a handbag. Very kind indeed, for which the review acquired an additional star. I think he was aware that our experience had been subpar, and seemed as embarrassed as us. The opportunity is there for this to be a great culinary destination, but there needs to be a shift away from pandering to tourists. It can either be a tourist trap, or a great restaurant, but I suspect not both.

Delicious food with very knowledgeable servers. Loads of options, including for vegetarians and Vegans. Great selection of drinks, including cocktails and wine. We had starters, main course and desert. I had all the vegan options, all very tasty. The location is gorgeous with a great view of the Liffey if you can get a seat by the window!

Best meal in Dublin. Located above a local bookstore of the same name, it’s a small restaurant that packs a punch. Dining room was cosy but equally bright and airy. All the food was excellent, evidenced by the cleaned plates. Staff were friendly and efficient - thank you for being so accommodating of us bringing a birthday cake that needed some construction and lingering over coffee for an afternoon chat.

French restaurant
Pichet is a trendy restaurant and bar in the heart of Dublin, offering a fusion of contemporary French and Irish bistro cuisine. The head chef, who honed her skills at the Dublin School of Culinary Arts and Food, has worked in esteemed establishments like The Merrion and Bastible. Pichet's menu reflects a modern twist on classic bistro dishes, combining French influences with vibrant flavors from Irish culinary traditions.
We were served by Niccolo (unsure of spelling), it was amazing. The food and service were flawless. I had made the mistake of ordering a dish with pork (which I can not eat) and they offered to remake it without a problem. Really worth the money as its a wonderful experience:)

My fiancée and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a very nice place and the staff were very pleasant. I got flowers before I came and sat down, and one of the waiters asked me if I wanted some water and he gave me a jug of water for them, which was nice, a small gesture but appreciated. We got the Tomahawk Rib eye for 2. It was nice but it wasn't outstanding... I thought it was a bit too salty. The only complaint from my fiancée was that it didn't come with rice 😆 We both had the Gambas for starters...it was a little bit too salty but not too salty that you can't eat and finish it. It was flavourful, I have to say! Overall, it was expensive - €204 for 2 people (we had 2 Gambas, the Rib eye for 2, 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine, 1 chocolate mousse & 1 tea). The restaurant got quite loud when it got quite busy and people starting talking. Restaurants can fix this issue easily by installing curtains, I don't know more restaurants don't do this.... Especially to cater for more neurodiverse audience. TL;DR Nice food but the Gambas & the Tomahawk Rib eye were a bit too salty; nice staff; expensive & quite loud

A memorable dining experience at Pichet! The food itself was impressive. Beautifully plated, packed with flavour. Each course was a delight, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The fries/ chips was amazing and one of the best fries I ever had in my life!!! Reservations are highly recommended as it was full house on the day we went. Pichet strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and fine dining polish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special evening out in Dublin. Will definitely be back!

This was the best restaurant we have been to this year. My wife had the Halibut and described it as the tastiest fish she has had in a long time. I had the artichoke ricotta and it was nothing sorry of superb, it really did tickle the tastebuds. There was little potato crisp as decoration and even they were delicious. The wine was also good. The service was also too notch. It was an expensive experience but only because we had some fine wine, the place is reasonable. All in all we had a good experience in one of Dublin's top restaurants. Pichet is definitely one of our favourite places over the last few years.

Had a very nice meal at this bistro. The staff is a little too faux French but professional and efficient. Interestingly I had the best chimichurri sauce I have ever had at a French restaurant in Dublin??? It was served as a sauce to go with the steak frites. I would like to see it on the menu. The two bartenders made a great selection of drinks done very well.

Went there for dinner as a couple. We had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious and high quality. The short rib melted in the mouth. The salad with figs and goat cream cheese was also wonderful. Cocktails were very well made and tasty even though I had one that was not on the menu. I highly recommend the venison and the pork as mains. The waitress was fantastic - Hvala, Stefanie! Also special thanks and compliments to the chef - Marin! We will recommend this place to all our friends and we are sure to visit again when we are in Dublin. It was definitely worth it!

This Michelin Bib Gourmand spot is a great nice night out, with their ambiance warm and the service excellent. The menu is French-based, with great options for fish, steak, or vegetarian. They make some awesome cocktails! If the Dry Aged Tomahawk Steak with smoked bordelaise is on the menu, it’s a great pick! You get two sauces on the side and a nice little side salad. One of the dishes we ordered had a sauce so phenomenal that our waiter brought us complimentary sourdough bread (amazing!!!) to soak it all up!

Pizza restaurant
Sano Pizza has quickly become a beloved gem in Dublin's vibrant culinary scene, particularly known for its authentic Neapolitan offerings. With locations in both Temple Bar and Ranelagh, this pizzeria prides itself on serving delicious pizzas made from handmade dough that undergoes a meticulous 48-hour fermentation process before being baked at high temperatures. The menu features a delightful mix of traditional and contemporary toppings, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
I had the chance to try the Rucola pizza today and it was absolutely delicious – literally one of the best I’ve ever had! Fresh ingredients, perfect dough and a fantastic taste. The service was also outstanding – Martina, who served me, was very friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. Top-class service! I’ll definitely be coming back. 😁

The food here was really good and arrived quickly, but the seating experience wasn’t ideal. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full, we were first placed at a tiny table next to a very loud party of twelve. We asked to be moved, but were refused and told this was the only option. Luckily, after we insisted a bit later, we got another table in a quieter spot. Overall, great food, but the service could be more attentive to guests’ comfort.

A nice variety of pizzas on the menu. And the 12" size was perfect for an individual. (Seemed larger than 12".) Good service, and a lively and packed dining area. I would definitely eat here again while in the area. The pizzas, all, were quite good!

Great pizza, wide range of selection with reasonable price. We've been there for a few times and the food quality is always keeping the standard. The only cons would say is that they could be quite busy and forgetting to give you the tap water.

Received recommendations to come here from an Italian friend. We were a big group of 10 and we called a couple of hours ahead as it was a last minute plan, and so it took us over an hour to get a table for all of us. The vibes were great; you can see the pizza being baked in the wood-fire oven. Had the margherita pizza and the cream of mushroom pizzas. Margherita was classically lovely, you get what you expect and it was good. The cream of pumpkin was divine and one of the best pizzas I had! I was worried about it being sweet but it was delightfully savoury. Even some of our meat-eating friends said it was the best option on the table! Highly recommend getting it even if you're not a vegan :)

Lovely atmosphere. Great service. Food was delicious 😋. I got the Vesuvius. I found the prices affordable for Dublin. And getting the pizza cutter to cut the pizza myself is fun. My only friendly suggestion is to have a unique, house made "Sano Dip", different from the other dips available in other pizza places.

I'm so happy to find a really good pizza place in Ireland. The experience is very close to a Napolitan Pizza and I still need to come back to try the Nutella Pizza. PD: we ordered on delivery app and it's not the same, better go to the restaurant
Gianncarlo C — Google review
Sano Pizza in Dublin offers a solid Neapolitan-style pizza experience, though our visit was tempered by a slightly confusing start. We arrived around 8:00 PM on a Monday night and were met with a bit of a weird situation: the server informed us there would be a 30-minute wait, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. This initial delay was puzzling and detracted from the smooth start we'd hoped for. Once seated, the pizza arrived relatively quickly. The quality is definitely good pizza—the base has the characteristic char and chewiness you expect from Neapolitan style. However, we found it felt a bit dry overall, lacking some of the moisture and richness that makes truly exceptional Neapolitan pies sing. In summary, Sano is a perfectly fine place to grab a casual pizza. It's not the best pizza you'll ever have, but it certainly hits the spot for a decent, well-made option. Just be prepared for potential, seemingly unneccessary waits, even when they aren't busy.

Blanchardstown Centre is a bustling indoor shopping destination in Dublin, boasting over 180 stores, numerous eateries, and a nine-screen cinema. The center features anchor tenants like Dunnes Stores, Penneys, Marks and Spencer, H&M, Debenhams, and Zara. Additionally, it houses the Leisureplex entertainment center and Ireland's largest public library. Plans for further expansion are in progress to accommodate even more shops. Visitors can also enjoy the Draiocht arts center nearby.
Plenty of great shops and it's lovely on the inside, I think a better road layout would be good to help with traffic and some bus/taxi only lanes. More buses for the busier routes will be great especially for the 39 and 39A. I love looking at the new cars on display but I wish they were around more often.

Great centre. Lots of options and easily navigable. Plenty of parking too, the bulk of which is in the Woodies/ TK Maxx retail Park. Plenty of options for lunch and coffee, as well as your standard Fast-Food outlets. Staple anchor stores, Dunnes, Aldi and M&S are in the main centre. The only complaint would be there aren’t enough toilet/ changing room facilities especially when busy. Compare this to all other big shopping centres on the M50 and my point stands. There’s a lovely feel to the centre when walking around. Also, one for the future especially in somewhere so big, a kids indoor play area would bring people into the centre, like Jump Zone in Liffey Valley. Paid parking is coming in 2026 as per all large shopping centres.

This place has everything you could possibly need for a day out, from great stores to delicious food options. Outdoor Activities
Dublin Zoo, the largest zoo in Ireland, offers a diverse range of exhibits including African Plain, Fringes of the Arctic and Asian Forests. Located within Phoenix Park, it is one of the oldest zoos globally dating back to 1831. The zoo is home to a variety of exotic animals such as giraffes, rhinos, gorillas, elephants, penguins and sea lions.
One of my favorite zoo's that I have visited. I went on a monday so it was not too busy. I bought tickets in advance and there was no line to get in. They have a great collection of animals and even some species I had not seen before such as the Chinese Dhole and the Aye-aye. All the enclosures are very natural and spacious. Signing has lots of information and I believe there even is an audio tour. Since I went on a monday there were no scheduled animal talks but there were a few volunteers that walked around and they told us plenty about the animals. There were a few food options but not everything was open. Beware of the many seagulls when you have a meal ;) Something they can improve on was the cleanliness of the toilets. The ones I used were often broken and/or dirty. Overall I had a wonderful day and I will absolutely come back for another visit.

Great night in at the Wild lights, did not add many photo's as do not want to spoil the experience for anyone else. Highly recommend, great for families with kids of all ages. Loads of food options on site(slightly overpriced IMO) We wanted to see all the displays which required us having to walk through parts we had previously seen earlier. Great experience, all the staff were so friendly and very cheery with only added more positively to our experience!! Highly recommend, and hope anyone reading gets to enjoy this experience!!

This is a wonderful Zoo with a large variety of animals. Clean, easy to navigate, fun. The dinosaur exhibit was amazing. Lots of fun facts shared everywhere about the animals. Plenty of toilets all over and places to eat. There is a small family farm for the little kids and lots of playground around for the kids to play. Buy tickets in advance to save time and money. Overall a fun place for the kids to visit.

One of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. The space provided for the animals is second to none, and the staff are consistently friendly and courteous. The talks are engaging, particularly the elephant presentation, and the variety of animals at Dublin Zoo is truly impressive — far better than what I’ve seen in Sydney or London. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at Dublin Zoo — truly one of the best family experiences in the city! The zoo is beautifully laid out, spacious, and easy to explore. What really stood out was the incredible variety of animals you rarely see elsewhere: Okapis, Asian wolves, snow leopards, and majestic gorillas. Each enclosure feels thoughtfully designed, offering great visibility for visitors of all ages — even the little ones can see everything easily. There are lovely picnic areas, plenty of benches, and a good mix of food stands if you prefer a snack on the go. The children’s playgrounds — both outdoor and covered — are fantastic for a little break between exhibits. We also loved the dinosaur section, which adds a fun and educational twist to the visit. Tickets cost around €22–25 per person, and you’ll want to allow at least 2–3 hours to fully enjoy the zoo without rushing. A perfect day out for families, animal lovers, and anyone looking to spend a relaxed, inspiring afternoon surrounded by nature and wildlife!

Tickets can be purchased from the zoo... Arrived around 11:30pm and took a tour around 2 hours exploring around the zoo... We were excited to see animals but unfortunately we wouldn't find some animals while some of them are in deep sleep.. Area maintained well and directional signage available to guide visitors
Jobin G — Google review
Great day out. Lovely time of year to visit, not too hot so the animals aren't hiding out of the sun. Alot of food/icecream places are closed but didnt bother us but just note to bring snacks. We ate at the meerkat restaurant at the end. We got to see them setting up for wild lights, looks beautiful
Elaine D — Google review
One of my favorite zoos! I’ve been to quite a few zoos, but this one definitely stands out. It feels more like you’re walking through the woods than a typical zoo, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable and relaxed. There’s a great variety of animals to see, though you do need a bit of luck — many of them were napping when I visited! Still, it’s a lovely place to explore and feels more connected to nature than most zoos.

The Guinness Storehouse is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts and travelers in Dublin. It offers a captivating brewery experience that delves into the history of Ireland's famous Guinness beer, founded by Arthur Guinness in 1759. The storehouse, located on a 60-acre site west of Christ Church Cathedral, showcases the legacy of the iconic stout through engaging displays across six floors built around a central glass atrium shaped like a giant pint glass.
I came here straight off a plane because it was my first stop in Dublin — and it was worth it. You can check your bag at customer service, which was really convenient. I booked the Guinness Stout Academy with the Stoutie (selfie pint) for €34 and it was 100% worth the price. Most people stay around two hours, but you could easily spend all day exploring the different levels and exhibits. There are several food options inside — I had the fish and chips and it was really good. The line for the Stoutie moved fast, and you can record most of the process (just not the part where your face appears for privacy/hygiene reasons). Every staff member I interacted with — tour guide, Stoutie staff, and restaurant staff — was extremely friendly and welcoming. You can also choose the option to learn how to pour your own pint. I’m not even a big beer drinker, but the experience was absolutely worth it. Plus, you get a pint at the end where you can sit, relax, and take pictures. 10/10 — one of the best things to do in Dublin. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience. It was super well presented and everything was well organized. It was easily orientable and the progression was logical. Additionally, it was very interactive with all the different parts of the exhibition. Something i particularly liked was how on theme everything was throughout (such as the “roasting” part was in a room themed with furnace-like lighting)! Super cool. Would strongly suggest going.

It's just an incredible place.))) Thank you so much for the tour and the opportunity to visit the walls where this delicious elixir, Guinness, is produced. I can't say that this was the kind of tour I expected, but they really surprised me. Everything was in the style of new technologies, and we got a lot of vivid and pleasant experiences from it. Indeed, Guinness spares no expense for the public, all excursions are a great pleasure. And yes, each ticket has a glass of fresh beer, don't forget to give it to the bartender and ask for it to be cashed in the form of a beautiful, fresh Guinness)) Thank you very much for this tour. I will be visiting Dublin again - I will definitely come again!)

My visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin was absolutely amazing! We bought our tickets online, which made everything quick and easy. The whole experience is designed by floors, and each level tells a different part of the Guinness story — from its rich history and iconic marketing campaigns to the brewing process itself. The concept is super well thought-out, interactive, and visually stunning. I loved learning about how the beer is made and how the brand became such a global symbol. You can even enjoy a non-alcoholic Guinness during the tour, which was a great option. Totally worth it!

I was unsure eif going as I thought it could be very touristy but honestly loved the experience, spend a number of hours there going through the different floors, learning about historical side and how it influenced and still is entertained with modern improvements. Highly recommend it! Also food is pretty good, we went to the bar and had pie and toastie then up to the rooftop bar for the pint included in ticket price. Views were gorgeous there!

A must visit if you come to Dublin. This is a self guided tour that brings you on a journey of how Guinness came about and how it is made. Very informative. You start your journey at the ground floor and work your way up towards the 7th floor which is the gravity bar. With the ticket purchase you will have a free glass of Guinness beer with one of the best views around.

Fantastic place and a must to visit! We learnt about the deep history of how Guinness was created / invented, the complex techniques they used, and also showcased the past and present equipment used to make the Guinness. Very interactive museum and a must to visit when you are in Dublin, the queue management was great, we didn't had to wait too long to get into the museum. Also highly recommend to sign up for the workshop where you can print your image on the Guinness stout! ♿️ wheelchair accessible entrance and lots of space to move around inside the Storehouse. There are lifts available to move to different floors too.

When in Dublin you have to visit the Guinness Storehouse!!! I’m not a fan of Guinness but still interested in the history of the brewery, Over 7 floors the self guided tour was about 2.5-3 hours, loads of information on how they brewery started and the way it’s brewed, beautifully laid out and easy to navigate yourself around, love the history especially the forgotten skills and practices they had that have given way to modernisation and progress which is to be expected! We ate on the restaurant there and as I stated I wasn’t a fan of Guinness but still have to try the delicacies ( when in Rome and all that!) I opted for the indies porters, wow what a drink strong rich flavours and at 6% in and too! Only downside to the porters is it’s that strong in taste a normal straight Guiness after in the gravity bar on top don’t cut it with the flavour! Great views, great beer and great food, all wrapped up in the history of this iconic place. Definitely worth a visit 100% Visited in November and was all decorated for Xmas, and done well. ☘️🇮🇪🍻

Fish & chips restaurant
Wine bar
Fish Shop in Smithfield offers an elevated fish and chip experience with a selection of sustainably sourced species from Irish coastal waters like hake, haddock, brill, and plaice. The menu includes small plates such as oysters and smoked haddock croquettes, along with a choice of beer-battered catch of the day. The cozy restaurant also features a highly selective wine list and is popular among industry professionals.
This is a tiny spot—just 12 bar seats—but it delivers everything you’d expect from a starred restaurant. The service is friendly, the food is excellent, and the oysters were unbelievably fresh. But the real star of the night was the fish and chips: clean, crispy, and perfectly flaky inside. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. With such limited seating, a reservation is highly, highly recommended. I saw them turn away quite a few walk-ins while I was there.

Small restaurant focusing primarily on upmarket fish and chips, nice selection of starters and the other main option on the evening we visited was lobster. Nice atmosphere, wines by the glass were a bit limited and overall a pleasant experience. Fish and chips were incredible to be fair. Booking recommended given how small it is.

The food we had was extremely delicious. We came across the restaurant coincidentally because our hotel was nearby. Luckily! We ordered an extra garlic mayonnaise which was also the best one I‘ve ever had. We took the food to our hotel because the restaurant is very very small without normal tables. Though, they used their available space very well. I definitely recommend.

This is one of my favorite spots in town for a quick lunch. The space is small, with an open layout and a clean design that gives you a good idea of what the menu is all about. There are no tables—just high stools at the counter and around the room—so I wouldn’t recommend it for large groups. It’s perfect for two people, or four at most. The best word to describe the menu is simplicity: dishes are mainly dressed with butters and oils, achieving perfection in every bite. The wine list is beautiful, with plenty of white options (as you’d expect from a place that specializes in fish) but also something for every taste. And without a doubt, they serve the best fish and chips in town.
Gabo V — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I booked a table and my calendar clearly showed the reservation at 5:15. I arrived a little early, at 5:00, but the staff told me my booking was at 4:00 and that 5:15 was actually the leaving time. That made no sense and stupid because no one should put leaving time in the boo king to make guest confused. To make matters worse, they told me they had tried to call me, but when I explained I hadn’t received any call, the staff changed the story and said my number was too complicated to dial. During this whole time, the restaurant had around nine empty seats, yet they still refused to let me stay and insisted that I leave. This is not the first time — just two days ago, I also came spontaneously when the restaurant was nearly empty, and they still refused to serve me. At first, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding of reservations , but after this second incident, it feels much more like discrimination, especially since I am Asian. There is no reason why a paying customer with a confirmed booking should be treated this way. It was disrespectful, unprofessional, and left me feeling unwelcome. Update : After being turned away, I went to a nearby tapas restaurant. Even though they were busy, they welcomed me warmly without a booking with Irish hospitality, treated me like family, and even introduced me to great food. Most importantly, they respected me. I am more than willing to pay a lot for good food and good service and this fish shop lost more than 100 euro for the weird system but I guess the staff there did not care much and the owner also. In conclusion, if you are looking for something authentic with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, this place is ABSOLUTELY NOT the right option.

The "Fish n Chips" gem of Ireland. Tried multiple different places while in Ireland and this by far had the best fish n chips. Lovely hole in the wall type of restaurant. Beautifully decorated, the staff is excellent(and quite funny), with a multitude of wines to pair with your dinner. You'll need a reservation (unless you get super lucky and they have an opening!) Loved the place, truly marvelous!

Delicious fish and chips. Quick, friendly service - seriously our food came out so fast! Two words: MAKE RESERVATIONS. We saw so many people get turned away because they didn't have a reservation (also, no takeaway!) This place is SMALL so they can only seat/serve something like 15 people at a time so make that reservation or you'll most likely miss out
Amy E — Google review
Amazing cozy restaurant serving the best seafood in the city in my opinion. Best oysters in Dublin by far and their fish and chips is also the best I’ve had in either Ireland or the UK. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. Make sure you book a table in advance because you more than likely won’t be able to just get a walk-in, that’s how you know it’s good :)

Bastible

Restaurant
Bastible is a renowned restaurant known for its personalized, neo-Nordic style of cooking and an ageless dining space. The head chef, Barry FitzGerald, has mastered the art of using complex techniques like curing, salting, smoking, and fermenting to elevate the flavors of each dish. The menu features meticulously crafted courses such as Lissadell oysters with fennel pollen and treacle tart with candied blood orange.
Bastible is a true gem in a lively part of Dublin. The food was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, full of bold flavours, and showcasing real culinary skill. The flavour combinations were unusual in the best possible way, each dish a surprise that worked beautifully. The mushroom custard was an absolute stunner, and the horseradish foam with caviar and tartare was a brilliant combination that worked incredibly well. The set menu was offered at a very fair price point, making the experience all the more impressive. The wine list, though small, was well curated, and the sommelier was helpful and attentive. The staff overall were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. The only downside was the double seating, which made the evening feel a bit rushed — we would have loved just a little more time to savour the experience. Still, an excellent restaurant we’d return to in a heartbeat.

You have got to try this ! I loved the open kitchen in this one room restaurant. Young lads, modern decor, nice music, and absolutely delicious food. The value for price was extremely good. Would definitely come back. Also we very much appreciated that they let us come with our 10 month old boy.

Amazing! It’s always great to start off a trip with a wonderful dinner and Bastible was exactly that. The food was beautifully plated and every dish was good, and a few in particular I would say were spectacular (mushroom custard and Halibut come to mind). The staff were super attentive (accommodated no spicy components for our daughter) and friendly and it was such a great experience overall. It’s not a huge space, so seats are limited, but if you see an available reservation do not hesitate. This place is truly wonderful!

Excellent culinary experience. The menu is creative, brilliantly executed and beautifully presented. I loved the diverse mix of flavors and textures. The courses were uniformly excellent, so it’s hard to single out winners but…I absolutely loved the cabbage tower, Coolatin cheddar custard, haddock tartlet and chocolate cremeux/blackberry sorbet dessert. I also appreciated a more measured pacing to the courses which affords a bit more breathing and conversation time between plates compared to some restaurants that seem obsessed with delivering the next course seconds after the previous course is complete. The waitstaff is approachable, personable and always in motion. I can’t recall a time when I’ve seen a higher performing front-of-the-house crew operating at their level of effectivenss or demonstrating such a cooperative, team-oriented attitude. They’re very familiar with the menu and are able to make excellent beverage pairing suggestions. They contribute to the energy in the dining room, which only has about 10 tables for 2-4pp plus a larger 8-person table for larger groups, along with about 8 seats at a shared high top and counter extension (so definitely make a reservation). A casual atmosphere and varied background music complement this Modern Michelin experience. I look forward to returning when I’m next in Dublin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Recently visited with my friends as we wanted to beat the Xmas rush dining. This was our second time in Bastible, and once again an unforgettable experience! The good was delectable! All the dishes carefully designed to really awaken your taste buds! Couldn't tell u which one was my favorite as they were all superb! If u go I recommend to go for the wine pairing which complements the dishes beautifully!

My friends and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bastible this past Saturday, and it was everything you'd expect from a Michelin-starred establishment. While every dish was delicious, a few stood out. The blue cheese and corn tartlet was so good. It was an unexpected combination that worked beautifully. Next up, the beef tartare was simply outstanding. And the mushroom custard *chef’s kiss* Beyond these highlights, the service was impeccable.

It is what you expect out of a Michelin star restaurant - innovative and clever flavours that make you think. Each dish comes with a commentary that elevates your appreciation of the dish. Simple and relaxed atmosphere is great, however it seems downright casual for the intricate food served.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Grano, located in Stoneybatter, Dublin, is a highly acclaimed restaurant that brings the flavors of Sicily to its patrons. The owner, Roberto Mungo, has created a buzz with the authentic Italian dining experience offered at Grano. The restaurant's two-course lunch menu offers affordable and delectable options such as panzanella, stuffed sardines, and handmade pasta using imported ingredients from Mungo's family friends' farms in Italy.
This is a special place for us. I don't know how I can put this into words. There's a certain feeling of home when you walk into the restaurant. A sense of grace, something that's just so comforting and familiar. My wife and I have been multiple times and every meal is exceptional. The pasta is made fresh and if you're lucky you can get a seat right next to them making it! My wife and I got lucky on our honeymoon and did just that. The staff is excellent, the food is divine, and the wine selection is superb. Don't forget to make a reservation in advance!

Had a lovely time in Grano. The place is small enough but very cosy. The staff are wonderful and personable. The food was amazing! Even not being a pasta lover I loved the special pumpkin pasta. They didn't look like much but they were very filling! Dessert was so good even if we did have to scarf it down. Make sure no one in your party is late because they are always booked and you have a 2 hour slot for your table. The staff are lovely about making sure you're able to enjoy the food within that time frame though. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

I’m a huge food lover, and Grano has never once disappointed — we’ve been here more than 30 times! If you’re lucky enough to get a table, consider it a blessing. From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere sets the tone. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The food is always made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, and the prices are spot-on for the level of service and excellence you get. The wine list is extensive, and the team are incredibly knowledgeable — I often just ask for their recommendations, and they always never fail.

Our visit to Grano was probably the highlight of our Dublin trip. The food , service and atmosphere were fantastic. The front of house staff were very friendly and helped us with an excellent wine suggestion. We were seated right next to Giovanni who was on pasta duty, and it was wonderful watching him work - he is a true pasta master! A word of warning - make sure you leave room for desserts! We had to narrow down our choices from 4 to 3 as they were all so fantastic. It's not often that the desserts outshine the mains, but at Grano that might just be the case - well done to the pastry chef! We stumbled upon Grano in the Michelin guide, but I truly can't think of a single reason why this restaurant doesn't already have a star - it's surely on its way! Thank you for a magical meal <3

I had a wonderful experience at Grano restaurant for a friend's birthday celebration. The service was truly outstanding, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. It's such a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion. I can't wait to return for another meal. I highly recommend this establishment.

Super disappointing experience. After hearing so many good things, we booked this 3 months in advance and were really looking forward to going. We got the crocchetta to start, it was fine, nothing sensational. The suppli was devine. Then for mains we got the mezzi paccheri amatriciana. It was fine, it lacked a lot of flavor and was very one dimensional, we were excited for this after being in Italy for summer and having loadsss of great amatricianas but this one was bad. We got the pumpkin tortelloni which were much nicer but nothing mind blowing honestly. Finally, for desserts we got the bignè, one again these just didn't hit the mark. They had 0 wow factor whatsoever and the peach and cream had particularly little flavor. Really disappointing when it's meant to be for our anniversary dinner out. Had much better Italians around Dublin (e.g. i Monelli). Wouldn't go here again.

A 5 out of 5 Italian restaurant. No words to describe how delicious the food is: from the starters, to the wine, the pasta and the dessert. Absolutely amazing food, and as a Greek I do have very high food standards. No wonder this place needs to be booked in advance. Pasta was the best I had in Dublin so far, felt like I travelled to Italy again. 100% recommended, I will be coming back. Food quality was excellent for the price. Wines are also a must have. They have an incredibly wide selection. I loved that the menu is just one page, this is the sign that they are experts in their field.

Croke Park stands as a monumental symbol of Irish culture and sport, being the largest stadium in Ireland and the third largest in Europe. With a staggering capacity of 82,300, it serves as the heart of Gaelic sports, hosting thrilling matches of Gaelic Football and Hurling from April to September each year. The finals for these beloved games take place every September, drawing passionate crowds that often surpass those seen at professional sporting events—remarkable considering all players are amateurs!
Felt like a Steelers home game here, great job converting the pitch to an NFL field. Had no problems getting to or around the stadium. To my Irish friends I hope the NFL did such a sacred venue justice. I look forward to seeing a Gaelic football fixture next time I’m here!

Wonderful experience getting into and out of Croke Park. They have large crowds down. Both the bathrooms and food concessions could be improved. Many concessions were out of items before the game started. There were long lines to some dingy bathrooms! We had a great time!!

Croke Park is a must-visit if you’re in Dublin. We did the stadium tour, which was really interesting and gave a great sense of Ireland’s sports history. We even came back another time for the St. Patrick’s Day events, and it was a lot of fun—such a lively atmosphere!

Odd set up could only purchase beer/cider or water on the ground/pitch level which isnt a great option when you didn't drink beer / cider. Could buy various options food and drink wise up a level but couldn't bring it down. Was in the accessible section which was perfectly situated, sounds was on point (Robbie Williams gig) however still had to go out to main bar / food area which was very awkward the more the ground level filled up! A mini bar option in that section to avoid having to keep coming out and back again / trying to get through the crowds with a wheelchair would be even better. But staff were all approachable and helpful. Lack of stars is due to lack of options drinks wise jist because you are on the pitch

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, located in the Custom House building, is a captivating exploration of the Irish diaspora's impact on the world. Through 20 interconnected galleries, visitors can delve into the stories and experiences of Irish emigrants who have made significant contributions globally. This award-winning museum offers an interactive and immersive experience that showcases the diverse achievements and struggles of the Irish community throughout history.
EPIC is a good to go museum. The interactive displays bring Irish history and emigration stories to life in such a modern and engaging way. I loved the passport stamping as you move through the galleries, and the mix of personal stories with global impact is really powerful. It’s not a traditional museum with artefacts, that makes it even more unique.

WOW. EPIC (and the Jeanie Johnston) blew me away. I've been twice because it's so well done. The interactive nature of the museum is really engaging and fantastic for any age. I was most recently there a few days before Halloween when they had a dramatic Dracula presentation for the kids who could be heard giggling and shouting "this is so fun!" as they chased him down the hall. EPIC is unique in its ability to expertly tell the Irish story from many different angles - history over the centuries, personal stories sprinkled throughout the broader context, film and music to sports, politics, and pub culture. They use nearly every sense, with video, audio, touch screens, interactive sets, and a passport you can use to track your journey. Make time for a couple of hours here. You're going to love it! BONUS: They have a genealogy centre which you can access separately at the end. AND the ticket is good for more than just the day you visit - where does that ever happen?!

I found the museum very beautiful, very educational, and interesting. There’s actually a lot — really, a lot — to read and to take in on your own. I mean, of course, it’s a museum, that’s clear. But I don’t know — I’ve been to other museums that offer more of a mix, where you also get things explained to you, can watch things, or even touch and interact with exhibits. Just something a bit more than only reading. That said, the museum is absolutely beautiful. It’s incredibly interesting, very clean and well-maintained, and definitely worth a visit. It just doesn’t quite get five stars from me — it’s not the ultimate highlight — but it’s definitely something you should do when you’re in Dublin. I really love the idea to Collect the Stamps for your EPIC-Passport. :-)

The EPIC Irish emigration museum is a MUST SEE if you are traveling to Dublin. This place tells a story that is different from everyone else in Dublin or all of Ireland because they tell the incredible story of the Irish people who left their home and made their mark on the rest of the world. The impact that Irish have made through emigration is simply amazing!!! This place tells the story!. I cannot recommend it enough. Note: when you visit the EPIC, be sure to purchase the complimentary ticket to tour the historic sailing ship that is docked nearby. The ship took many people on their journey out of Ireland to other lands.

I visited EPIC! when it was first opened years ago. To this date, it is one of my most recommended museums to visit in Ireland. The same designers that created the Titanic Museum, I’m told are responsible for the interactive design of EPIC. I’m sure this museum has added to their exhibits since I visited and no doubt made it even more impressive. I also want to highlight the amazing staff at the museum—as they are friendly, knowledgeable and will make your visit even more memorable!

George's Street Arcade, located on Dublin's South Great Georges Street, is a historic shopping plaza that dates back to 1881. It is the oldest shopping center in Ireland and offers an array of indie clothing boutiques, food vendors, bookstores, and jewelry shops. The Victorian redbrick building houses around fifty tenants selling vintage clothes, accessories, books, collectibles, and more. The arcade provides a distinctively Dublin experience with its eclectic mix of boutique and vintage clothes shops at affordable prices.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Dublin Gem That Never Gets Old! I’ve been coming to George’s Street Arcade for over 40 years, and it never loses its magic. This Victorian-style indoor market has such a quaint charm, yet there’s always a buzzing, busy vibe that makes it feel alive every time you step inside. The eclectic mix of vibrant little shops and stalls is second to none — you’ll find artwork, jewellery, vintage clothes, vinyl records, and quirky treasures you simply can’t get anywhere else in Dublin. It’s roofed from the elements, which makes it the perfect spot to wander, explore, and soak up the atmosphere no matter the weather. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this place is absolutely worth a visit — a true Dublin icon that blends history, character, and creativity under one roof.

George's Street Arcade isn't just a small shopping center: it's an experience. You can find all sorts here, from a psychic reader to vintage clothing to Indian fabrics and framed hand-drawn sketches by local artists. I like the eclectic nature of the shops and the long, elegant hallway with shops on two sides and down the middle.

ambling through the years... It's been a long time since I was here. Visited with my daughter during the chinese new year, explaining that I used to pass through every weekend and flick through the albums in the record store. The olive shop was also still there. It's one of the oldest markets in Europe with a striking Victorian red brick facade and a typical Dublin history. #ramblingstampcollectors

To be honest, its just an alright small little market. For tourists, I wouldnt really recommend you coming here, there is only one souvenir shop and the rest are mostly hippie shops selling crystals/cds/records etc.
SL W — Google review
An absolute gem, feels like a bit of old Dublin (I'm old enough to remember the Dandelion market). Lots of quirky stalls and little shops, and some excellent coffee. Love this place.
B K — Google review
There are some cool shops here, but it’s mainly cheaply made souvenirs, AI-generated art, and other tacky stuff. Wouldn’t recommend, but if you really want to, just walk through it once. There are other better markets
C.E. W — Google review
A lovely indoor market full of weird and wonderful arty shops and eateries. From music and books, to art and cheese. Worth a wander through.
Louise S — Google review
Not to be described as a shopping centre or mall, this is one of the oldest covered markets in Europe. It features some beautiful Victorian design embellishments that give it an authentic antique aesthetic. Here you can find great juices, rare old books, vinyl records, spa treatments, pre-loved clothing, jewellery and more in the boutique shops and permanent stalls. Despite its age and antiquity, this is a trendy destination with good footfall as it is located off George’s Street in the city centre.

Gardens
The National Botanic Gardens in Dublin is a sprawling expanse featuring naturalistic areas, formal gardens, an arboretum, and a Victorian palm house. It serves as both a research and conservation center as well as a recreational park, drawing over 500,000 visitors annually. Families can explore the 50-acre space with its diverse plant species, rose and rock gardens, pond and river walks, organic fruit and vegetable gardens, and Ireland's only indoor rainforest.
Absolutely Stunning place. Free entry. The gardens and the palm houses were just amazing. All kept so well. The restaurant was great too. Highly recommend the sausage roll. Yum! And the carrot cake was very tasty too.

Beautiful gardens with several walks within and multiple large glasshouses also. A large selection of all kinds of plants, flowers and trees, many not native to Ireland. Good selection of wild birds and squirrels visible too. Gorgeous rose garden too. Free admission and car parking available also. Located adjacent too Glasnevin Cemetery with a gate between them, so both can be visited in one day.
Colm C — Google review
Beautiful gardens to visit with plenty of colour still in mid October thanks to the variety of planting schemes. Peaceful and a lovely tranquil atmosphere for those looking to be ecscape to some green space for an hour or two. Glass houses are very like those in Kew Gardens - cosy and full of plants to enjoy !
Bernard F — Google review
These gardens are just beautiful. Very well maintained, (huge!) and we had a great time here. The fact that this beautiful place is free is astounding. There are also lots of squirrels in the surrounding area and they come right up and take food out of your hand.
Teresa — Google review
What a wonderful place, which is free to explore. It's mostly very peaceful and relaxed with lots of paths and trails. There's countless species of plants and trees. A number of greenhouses for plants that require warmer tropical climates. There's also a couple of lovely ponds with ducks and some herring. For me the curious squirrels are the best part, they are fairly tame and will approach you if they think you have food for them. Vegetables and herbs are also grown in their own walled garden. There a great cafe with the usual tea and coffee with pastries. They also do sandwiches and best of all some tasty dinners. It's wheelchair and buggy friendly and a paid carpark is in the grounds.
Aidan M — Google review
The national botanical garden is a hidden gem in Dublin. There is no charge for entry and there are a number of greenhouses with plants from all over the world. If you’re looking for an easy day, I would hardly recommend it. There is a café just outside of the botanical gardens that’s worth stopping by I can’t remember the name at the moment but as you exitthe gardens cross the street and turn to your left and you will find it about 50 m down.

Great place to visit, easily spend a few hours wondering around enjoying how creative nature is, so many interesting plants from around the world. Parking on site but queuing can be required to get in as spaces limited. Also can visit famous cemetery on site where lots of legendary Irish people are buried

Very beautiful and well maintained. So many varieties of flowers and plants. The glass houses in itself is a thing of beauty. The walk through Glasnevin cemetery leading up to the botanical garden is equally beautiful. The best thing is both are free to visit. Will definitely visit again.

Wine store
Loose Canon Cheese and Wine, located in Dublin, is a cozy spot nestled into the Georges Street Arcade. The small yet inviting space offers a selection of top-notch cheeses and funky wines from under-the-radar producers. With limited seating inside, patrons often enjoy their toasties and wine outside on sunny evenings. The knowledgeable staff and warm atmosphere make it a must-visit for cheese and wine enthusiasts.
Perfect spot for people-watching and having a good chat! My friend and I had a lovely time here, we totally lucked out with the weather so we got to enjoy our drinks and cheese outside on the little tables and chairs. There’s also indoor seating in case it’s raining or you’re just in the mood to be cozy inside. I actually love that it’s a small space, it makes the whole experience feel warm and intimate. There’s just something really nice about it. And the cheese omg its so good🤌🏼🤌🏼

One of my favorite spots in Dublin! Small little shop with 3 types of grilled cheese, cheese and meat platters and wine. Not much seating but it’s a walking street out front so on nice days you can enjoy outside.
A F — Google review
Loose Canon was recommended by a local on a weekend. No reservations so it’s easy to grab a quick bite and wine. Toastie tasted great until I saw the employee who made it at the slicer popping pieces of meat straight into their mouth and go back to slicing without washing their hands.

So good! Loved to have some great wine in Dublin city center, some cheese too! Nice place to meet people as well, the sidewalk and the street was completely full of people afternoon even more at night..
Martin M — Google review
Format: wine selection and some cheese. The place is very small, not bad for the center of Dublin. I like it and can recommend)
Iryna K — Google review
Really cute and trendy spot in the center of Dublin, next to George st. There are lots of wine and cheese options here and really cute outdoor seating. However, it is really difficult to find a spot and even if you order you may not have anywhere to sit.
Ronnie C — Google review
What a waste of money, time and health. Poor service and rude staff. There is a very small selection of wine by the glass, which is totally fine. But all – without exception – of the wines were from France. For a wine bar that is not specifically labelled as French, I would expect more. I then ordered a red wine. The wine was poured with her back to me, hidden from view. An absolute no-go. Then she says she's not sure if it's okay. She asks a colleague. She's also unsure and says they'll probably have to open a new bottle. Okay, no problem. Then they asked a third employee. He grimaced but said that everything was okay, and I got the wine that two out of three people found questionable... Then I ordered a small cheese platter. Two out of three pieces of cheese had mould on them! And no, it wasn't blue cheese. I pointed out to them that the cheese had mould on it. They just said that this can happen and is normal. No, it's not! Not on a normal sliced cheese! They then simply ignored me and didn't say another word to me until I just left. So, two very likely spoiled products, and that for 25 EUR! Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place!
Kathi S — Google review
A really fun concept that is executed well. Great food and nice wine! The place is very small, so not good for groups of 4 or more. There is outside seating though. Toasties are great, the one with chorizo is spicy so be careful!

Stopped by for an early evening dinner with colleagues 😋. The location of the restaurant is in the busy and bustling Dublin city centre. The ambient in the restaurant great. Food and service was amazing. A good spot for food and drinks solo, or with a group or family.
Dolapo O — Google review
The samosas were a great start, perfectly crunchy on the outside with a flavorful filling that paired really well with the dipping sauce. The pizzas were decent, though a bit underwhelming for the price, simple in toppings and execution. The standout for me was the calzone: generously filled, especially at the center, and absolutely delicious. The combination of duck, caramelized onion, and goat cheese was rich, savory, and well-balanced.
Daniel T — Google review
The attention to detail makes this restaurant worthy to try. The wait staff, including Amit, was very attentive even during a much busy evening. Each course was plated as a work of art.
Danny N — Google review
The place is very nice, there's even a small rooftop that's not very well equipped (when it rains, people get wet, and I've seen people open their umbrellas). Extremely kind and attentive service. The pizza is average, tasty, perhaps a little expensive.
Carlo P — Google review
Yes, exactly! And it was just as delicious as it was huge. I went for the duck pizza – absolutely divine. A little cottage cheese, jam, and the duck meat... so tender and soft. Obviously, I couldn’t even finish it, it was that big. The service was top-notch, and the presentation was spot on as well. Even when asked an unexpected question, the staff didn’t get flustered. A classy place with a great vibe. Highly recommended!

Fasta is a hidden gem located in the basement of Connolly train station, offering fast and fresh pasta dishes at affordable prices. The menu features a variety of options, with the Al Limone standing out for its flavorful combination of spaghetti, lemon zest, nutmeg, parsley, and pecorino cheese. The restaurant's quick service makes it perfect for a speedy lunch or a taste of traditional Italian cuisine. While seating is limited, Fasta comes highly recommended for its delicious pasta and friendly staff.
Delicious authentic Italian pasta! We already tried all pastas from the menu, all are perfect! My favourite Bucatini All'amatricianna, for those who love smoked spiced tomato sauce based pasta and Spaghetti Al Limone - simple but sooo tasty. Great to eat in or for take away option. Five stars also go to staff -- you rock!
Natalia P — Google review
Finally made our way here as we heard so many good reviews of Fasta! The pasta really was one of the best in town. Simple and delicious. The staff are kind, friendly and very accommodating for the customers - thank you very much! If I may offer a feedback, it would be to reconsider serving the dish in plates rather than in paper boxes and plastic cups for those who are dining in. We had a lovely time but it all felt a bit just like a takeaway.

I've been meaning to try Fasta for ages, heard great things on tiktok and liked the vibes of their instagram and was finally in Connolly in need of something fast and fresh, and it was the perfect opportunity to try it! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is tiny but cosy and you can watch your pasta being cooked. They have some great pasta options, I'll definitely be back to try them all over time! I got the Tagliatelle Al Limone which was creamy and refreshing while my friend got the carbonara. We were both very impressed and we'll definitely return soon. They also have some fantastic deals and a very good student discount!

Someone needs to bring you here or you need to follow the smell of cooking in the air besides connoly station, but whatever it is, you need to go and try this place. Service fast and good pasta, prices in the average, perfect for a quick lunch or for someone who wants to try some of the traditional italian dishes. I was there with a couple of colleagues and definitely we will come again. There are just few tables, anyway highly recommended!

Mexican restaurant
El Grito Mexican Taqueria, located on Mountjoy Square in Dublin, offers an authentic and reasonably priced Mexican dining experience. The restaurant serves a variety of traditional tacos and Mexican drinks, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. With Latin music playing in the background and traditional decor, El Grito provides an immersive Mexican atmosphere for diners.
Their churros are sublime!! My friends and I love it and felt it’s more valued as the price comes with chocolate dips and whipped cream. Their service is great and the staffs are welcoming and friendly. They made the whole experience really special. Their tacos has variety of toppings to choose from, there’s also vegan options. Their margaritas are recommended too but we didn’t try any this time. The place gets packed really quickly, will recommend a reservation during evenings or large groups. Their upstairs seating area has the better vibe. Will come again.

Had been to El Grito recently and loved it! The nachos were the highlight - tasty, filling, and full of flavor. The chimichanga was a great addition too, really delicious and satisfying. The chicken and Mexican rice soup with crispy nachos was hearty and comforting. Washed it all down with a refreshing Mexican mojito. The place has a lovely authentic Mexican vibe, and the staff were super cheerful and friendly. Great food, great atmosphere ,will definitely be back! 🌮✨

I’ve just been to this Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere, and honestly, it blew me away. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere, the music, the smells, the sounds, and the people make it feel absolutely mesmerizing. Looking at the menu, I genuinely felt like I was back in Mexico. Every dish was bursting with flavor—tasty, fresh, and authentic. The guacamole was incredible, and the cocktail was spot on. While I was there, I noticed two birthday parties being celebrated, and the staff were just amazing—so happy, welcoming, and full of energy. You can tell they really enjoy what they do. It’s not a massive restaurant, but maybe that’s what makes it so special. It’s a hidden gem. If you want real Mexican food and the feeling of being in Mexico without leaving town, you need to visit this place. Plus we were welcomed without a reservation !!!!!

El Grito is a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Dublin! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with charming décor that makes you feel right at home. The staff are always smiling and friendly, which adds to the pleasant experience. I had a delicious burrito, paired with a Michelada — absolutely amazing! The food is full of authentic flavors, the service is quick and efficient, and prices are fair and perfectly aligned with the quality offered. Highly recommended!

Historical place
Malahide Castle & Gardens, located just a short drive north of central Dublin in the charming seaside village of Malahide, is a medieval fortress set in 260 acres of parkland. The castle features an intriguing mix of architectural styles and houses a collection of antiques, paintings, and period furniture from the Neo-Classical and Rococo eras.
This was an incredible experience! It was 48 euro for our family of 5. You have to buy tickets ahead of time, so make sure you do that. They want you to arrive about 10 mins early, so you may have to wait to for your tour to start. The tour guide we had was funny, thoughtful and really knew the history of the property. The tickets include tickets to the fairy gardens and the butterfly gardens. Both of those spots were great for the kids. This property is so large that you can easily spend an entire day looking at everything. They have a shop, cafe, gift shop, restaurant, and a large playground for the kids. This is absolutely worth the money, and a really fun stop while in Dublin.

Beautiful castle, butterfly garden, walled garden, fairie garden, and I believe a West garden. There was plenty of room on the grounds for two separate sports games going on in two different fields, and the parents, to be in the free parking. Cafe, restaurant, gift shop, also on grounds.Thrre also was ruins of an Abbey with a cemetery surrounding. A free museum, before you get to castle, and with paid admission, another museum under the castle. I believe they have a guided tour every 1/2 a hour.
Sher P — Google review
I had an absolutely lovely visit to Malahide Castle, and the guided tour was a real highlight thanks to our guide, Darina. The castle itself is beautiful, but the tour struck the perfect balance between storytelling and giving us time to explore the rooms on our own. Darina was fantastic — incredibly funny, charming, and wonderfully easy to understand. She spoke clearly and patiently, making the tour accessible even for visitors who don’t speak English fluently. Even when a few children were being a bit chaotic and touched things they really shouldn’t have, she stayed calm, professional, and kind, which impressed all of us. After the tour, I visited the botanical gardens and the butterfly house, both of which were stunning. The butterfly house in particular completely blew me away. A beautiful place, a great experience, and a guide who truly made my day. Highly recommended!

This was a very pretty castle. We did the castle and gardens tour. Our guide Brendan gave lots of good information about the family and the castle. Get there a little before your tour time so that you can go through the family tree timeline I like that this one has furniture in it so you could get a feel for the life there at the castle.

Beautiful castle. Interesting history. Close to Dublin. I highly recommend it. Our tour guide was great and had a lot of knowledge not only about the inhabitants but about life in Ireland during different time periods in history. I found him interesting and the stories even more lively. The grounds are beautiful but because of the rain, we couldn’t explore as much as we wanted to. I highly recommend the shop and cafe as well.
Faequa K — Google review
Wonderful time. Tour was informative and not too long. Guide was wonderful. The walk through the gardens and butterfly house were great. Plan to spend 3 plus hours if you want to walk through the gardens and butterfly house.
Melissa C — Google review
The whole area is so well-organised and we spent almost a whole day over there. We paid €17 each (adult) for the entrance ticket, guide tour included. The lady tour guide was fantastic. The castle itself quite small but very well curated, totally worth a visit! We spent time afterword at the shop and the cafe.
Carol W — Google review
An absolutely wonderful place to visit — one of the best family days out in Dublin! The castle itself is fascinating, full of history and beautifully preserved, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who make the tour really enjoyable. The gardens are immaculate — from the old trees and flower beds to the wide open lawns, everything feels peaceful and perfectly maintained. The butterfly house was a real highlight for us — a magical little world full of colour and calm, ideal for kids and adults alike. The playground is one of the best we’ve seen anywhere, clean, safe, and full of clever design features that keep children entertained for ages. The Avoca restaurant and shop are fantastic too — great coffee, delicious food, and plenty of local products and gifts to browse. Everything is beautifully presented, and the staff are friendly and welcoming throughout. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend half a day just wandering, relaxing, and enjoying the atmosphere. Plenty of parking, good facilities, and overall an excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dublin or looking for a perfect weekend outing. 🌳🦋☕️🇮🇪

Trinity College Dublin, a 19-hectare university with stunning Georgian buildings, is renowned for its humanities, science, and medical programs. The campus is home to the national treasure of Ireland, the Book of Kells, which can be fully appreciated with an audio guide. Visitors can also explore the library gallery, famous for being a filming location in Harry Potter movies, and view the oldest harp in Ireland.
Beautiful place to visit! Trinity College is full of history and stunning architecture. It's worth taking the guided tour, it's well worth it. Students currently studying there talk about the university, it's very entertaining and educational. Lara was a really professional guide, 5 stars for her. 😜😘 In addition to the basics, you can also learn about university life.

Trinity College is truly a beautiful and inspiring place. The historic architecture, especially the famous library, is breathtaking and full of character—it feels like stepping back in time. The campus is very well maintained, with plenty of open green spaces to relax or study.

Beautiful buildings and the park is well maintained. We had no chance to buy tickets for the Book of Kells Experience on site (it is recommended to buy in advance if anyone is interested in seeing the Library's famous Long Room!), but the buildings were still worth walking around. The gift shop is pretty much like anywhere else, but we saw at least two coffee trucks, so there's something to sip on while you walk. (I can't even imagine what it must be like to see so many tourists wandering around here with the students' eyes — while you're rushing to class, they're just shuffling in front of you to try to make the perfect photo. :D)

Trinity College Dublin is breathtakingly beautiful, like walking through a living piece of history. The grand stone buildings and elegant courtyards create a calm, timeless atmosphere. Its famous Library, with towering wooden shelves, is a must-see for anyone visiting Dublin. Even a casual stroll across the cobbled squares feels special and serene. A place where classic architecture and lush green lawns make every visit memorable.

Trinity College Dublin is one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Founded in 1592, it combines centuries of academic prestige with stunning architecture and a lively student atmosphere. The campus grounds are open to the public, offering a peaceful escape from the busy streets of Dublin. Cobblestone courtyards, elegant Georgian buildings, and leafy quads make it a photographer’s dream.

It’s very touristy and crowded. The library would have been really cool to see but it’s so busy that it was sold out by the time we got there in the afternoon. It’s nice to walk around the main courtyard area but honestly overhyped as an attraction. If you like history and can get into the library it would definitely be worth checking out though.
Tyler C — Google review
It's one of the world's leading universities. The campus is so vast and beautiful. It's impossible not to dream of studying here. I think the only downside is that anyone can easily get in. Other than that, I loved the library. It has an incredibly charming atmosphere.
Kenya İ — Google review
With its wealth of beautiful Georgian buildings, ample park spaces, and venerable old library, Trinity College is simply gorgeous. We were fortunate to see the campus bathed in sunlight on the Sunday in September that we stopped in for the Book of Kells Experience. Since the wait time before we could go into the library and see the Book of Kells was fairly long, we had the opportunity to walk into the college chapel and hear the choir rehearsing for the morning Eucharist, and then to sit on benches in the sun and enjoy the beauty all around us. Trinity is a must-see place if you're touring Dublin.

The Irish Whiskey Museum in Dublin is a must-visit for anyone interested in the rich history and culture of Irish whiskey. The museum offers guided tours that take visitors through interactive exhibits, providing insights into the origins and distillation of Irish whiskey. At the end of the tour, guests can enjoy a tasting experience featuring at least three different whiskeys.
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Irish Whiskey Museum! It was much more than just a tasting — it was a journey through Irish history, culture, and storytelling. We laughed, we listened, we tasted, and at times we were genuinely moved by the stories behind the whiskey. It was the kind of experience that stays with you. A very special thank you to our incredible guide — a true star! She was born to speak and tell stories. Her energy, humour, and passion made the whole tour come alive. We felt like we were part of a live theatre performance mixed with a history class (but way more fun!). Her ability to connect with the group and guide us through centuries of whiskey tradition was unforgettable. We left the museum not only smiling and a little more knowledgeable, but also wondering why we hadn’t visited sooner. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin — even if you’re not a whiskey drinker, you’ll enjoy every minute of it!

I really enjoyed this place! I went in knowing almost nothing about whiskey and left with a lot of knowledge - from the differences between Scottish and Irish whiskey to the production process, history, and fascinating historical details. The tour ends with a tasting, which was the perfect final touch. I definitely recommend visiting during your trip to Dublin - it’s fun, informative, and memorable.
Keti U — Google review
I enjoyed the hour long experience, but it did seem to be a stretched out production. The whiskey we got to try was great, but as the guide jokes throughout, it’s not til the very end. Our guide was also really nice and funny.

My recent tour was excellent, and I wanted to give a special thanks to Linda. As our guide, she was incredibly informative and had a great sense of humor that made the entire experience very entertaining. I had a really good time overall.
Alexandru-Ionut E — Google review
informative, and full of Irish charm! The tour was really well done, and I learned so much about the history and craft of Irish whiskey. The tasting at the end was amazing — those whiskeys are strong but absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin. 🥃🇮🇪

It's a great experience! We went on a week day and got the Premium experience because we basically love Irish Whiskey and wanted to try 4 different whiskeys instead of 3. It's so worth it! You learn the story of the Irish whiskey in general, not just one brand, and it's interactive and fun. Our guide was Linda and she was so entertaining and so knowledgeable that it made our visit even greater. I definitely recommend it!!
Karen T — Google review
I went here yesterday on the spur of the moment and it was fantastic! Lydia was our amazing tour guide. She was informative, engaging, and funny - I recommend bringing some cash to tip her, we sadly didn't have any. Great value for an hour tour and tasting, especially the premium tour as we got an extra drink and a glass to keep. There's also alcohol free prices if you're not drinking which is wonderfully inclusive. Highly recommend!

We visited The Whiskey Museum and took the cocktail-making class with Briein, and it was absolutely fantastic! We had a blast—mixing delicious drinks, learning fun new techniques, and laughing the entire time. It truly felt like hanging out with a great friend who also happens to be an amazing instructor. We can’t recommend this experience with Briein enough—you’ll love every minute of it!

Restaurant
Lotus Eaters is a new Asian fusion concept restaurant located in Dublin, Ireland. The restaurant offers a mix of traditional and modern Irish dishes in a sophisticated setting. The menu features a variety of options such as crab omelettes, tartare toasties, Wagyu hamburger rice bowls, barbecue pork belly skewers, poached chicken salad with cucumber and rayu, and their signature Wagyu beef burger. The ambiance is described as calm and moody, providing a delightful dining experience.
It's a place must to eat if you go to Dublin. The food was fantastic the service was fantastic, the wine was fantastic. Probably a little bit more air circulation will help, but not a big deal. Thank you Matt for taking our order and the recommendations. From Ohio with love to our Irish friends. Call to make a reservation directly at their website.

The service and creatively delicious food for our large group was incredible. They made my partner the curry chicken pot pie even though it wasn’t on the menu. Yes, he ate the whole thing. Wonderful experience!
Meagan L — Google review
For a top notch meal with takeoffs on Irish favorites this was a good choice. Small (but loud) restaurant. Great service. Nice wine list. The apps were excellent; definitely order marrow soup and toast. All apps focused on flavor. The sizzle was very tasty. The cod was OK and needed more sauce. I like the nod to local use of cod (as in fish ‘n Chips) but there are so many better fish at this level. The deserts were out of this world. The server actually split a glass of wine in two for us to share! Very professional all the way through.

Had a wonderful lunch here overlooking Trinity College. The food was delicious, Irish comfort dishes. The "tongue and cheek" kidney pudding was luscious. The White Pork Chop was juicy. Famine soup w bone marrow toast was yummy. The people were warm and friendly. It was having an amazing lunch in a cozy Irish townhouse on a rainy afternoon.
Rufina G — Google review
Super charming and unpretentious spot. We really enjoyed the witty banter with the server, who did guide us in the perfect choices for our meal. Of course, we had to try the pork chop and it was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The smoked potatoes…..just yum!
Judith D — Google review
Delicious! Every dish was delightful. Lucky find for us, and they were able to seat 5 of us without reservation— very lucky! Somehow I missed a pic of my Barnsley Lamb Chop, which was juicy and cooked perfectly and plated. Service was outstanding. Our server was able to describe each dish since we were not sure what was what. Pictured are Jammets Mixed Grill, Dublin Coddle (soup), Smoked potatoes, Dublin Lawyer Lobster Omelette, Guinness Bread & Butter, Potato & Pork Farl w. Bone Marrow Gravy, Cheesecake, and Rice Pudding + Rhubarb & Custard.

My daughter and I came here for dinner last night and the experience was underwhelming. First off, water at the table came in two choices — still and sparkling, no offer of tap. They charged more than expected for the 0.5L bottles (5.95€). For the first course I ordered the “famine” soup which was a big mistake which I should have caught. Famine meant slim pickings of potatoes and barley in an overly salty beef consommé. Yuck. Then the tiny bit of marrow on a large toast buttered on both sides. I really felt like I was living during the Potato Famine. My daughter ordered an oyster and beef tartar which was just an oyster on top of a small spoonful of raw beef. Not amazing. For my main, I had the lobster omelet which was a starter in their menu and without it this review would have been a 1 star instead of a 2. It was great! Lots of lobster and the omelet was flavourful. Wonderful dish that was filling enough for a main. My daughter had the white pork cutlet which was very soft but not flavourful until you put the mustard on it. The potatoes on the side were literally on another plate. Very buttered. Quite nice. But then the meal went downhill. We ordered the cheesecake to share and it came in a jar and paper bag. The thing was upside down and you couldn’t get any raspberry topping with you first few bites and too much with your last few bites. The first few bites had too much crust and the last few not enough. I’m not sure why they would serve it like this but it could be because it was an unbaked cheesecake. Anyways, the bill came and a surprise 12.5% service fee was already tacked on. As I did not read the other reviews on this forum before, I was unpleasantly taken off guard. Our bill was more expensive than any other meal we had in Dublin. Other places we have dined are Featherblade (steak) and Matt the Thresher (seafood) which are hands down a way better bang for your buck than this place. It certainly did not meet the standards of a Michelin recommended restaurant in my opinion.

Very good food quality, served in a very casual atmosphere. The rice pudding with rhubarb stands out and don’t forget the Surf and Turf appetizer of oysters and beef tartare

Mongolian barbecue restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a unique dining experience in Dublin, look no further than Mongolian Barbeque. Nestled in the vibrant Temple Bar area, this family-run gem has been delighting patrons since 2006. The concept is simple yet enticing: choose from an array of fresh vegetables, meats, and spices to create your perfect meal. Once you've made your selection, sit back and enjoy as skilled chefs prepare your dish right before your eyes on a traditional Mongolian grill.
Good selection of veggies, meat, and sauces. They give you full control over how much seasoning you add (both in sauces added before cooking, and additional spices to be added after cooking). Note that there’s no beef served before 4:30pm. Freshly cooked food in a cozy indoor setting with plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Andrew J — Google review
Atmosphere - 4 stars: Nice inside. Well organized and clean. Lots of small tables and seating. Staff - 4 stars: The girl behind the counter was friendly. She sat us and got us water. We never had anyone stop by at any point after to check on us. Food - 4 stars: The meat quality was 4 stars. Lots of tendons and fat on the cuts. We grabbed a chicken meat option and mixed (pork, chicken, and beef). Unfortunately they don’t serve beef only before 4:30pm. If I would have known this prior to sitting, this may have been a deal breaker. There wasn’t much flavor, even with all the sauces and seasons/garlic added. Value - 5 stars: We showed up for lunch (before 4:30pm). You have an option of one bowl for $13.90 or all-you-can-eat for $19.90. We chose the one-bowl option. The one bowl is actually one bowl of meat and own bowl of noodles & vegetables. The portion size was good value.

It's not really their fault but... the meat was super spicy and i couldn't eat my meal. My husband told me the sign read spicy so that was on me. The atmosphere was good and the food was abundant
Tammy ( — Google review
The earlier in the day you go, the cheaper is it, which is a nice perk! They have an array of spices and sauces as well as a lot of fresh meats and veggies to choose from. Plus, the service is fast and friendly! It’s central to a lot of the tourist attractions, so it’s a great for grabbing a bite to eat post wandering! The dessert was lacklustre, but you can never lose with all you can eat.
Jeneka J — Google review
The best concept I ever seen. Nice place that at first doest tell much but once in everything changes. Choose your food and chef will cook everything in front of you. All fresh, all you can in ❤️
Vivi — Google review
What's there not to like about this place, I wish I found it sooner. I'll definitely be back here when I visit Dublin again. Definitely worth it for all you can eat.
Nchimunya M — Google review
I had dinner here with my family and we all enjoyed it. The food was fresh and hot, plus it was a lovely break from the pub food I’ve now eaten a lot of. Every server + chef I interacted with was really friendly. I wish the sauces had been a bit more flavorful but overall thought the food was a great deal for the price. The front seating area was very toasty but it seemed like the air was on in the back.
Emma F — Google review
Brilliant food. You can mix different ingredients the way you like and have unlimited amounts of servings. Amazing!!!

Bakery
Bread 41 is an organic bakery located on Pearse St. in Dublin, known for its specialty breads, pastries, and custom-made cakes. The owner, Eoin Cluskey, is a prominent figure in the artisan bread movement in Ireland and is passionate about natural sourdough breadmaking. The bakery also offers a brunch menu with options like Breakfast Croissant and French Toast.
Amazing find with a delicious assortment of baked goods and espresso drinks. The line held steady outside the door throughout our visit. We also saw the pastry chef measuring out butter for her next recipie as we left. Highly reccomend!
Sue A — Google review
Bread 41 is where craftsmanship meets creativity. A buzzing Dublin bakery turning simple ideas into pure flavour. The sourdough is exceptional, the Cruffin irresistibly flaky, the Savory Croissant rich and inventive, and the Sausage Roll easily among the city’s best. Coffee’s on point, staff are upbeat, and the atmosphere hums with local charm. It gets busy and prices reflect the quality, but every bite reminds you why it’s worth the hype.

This is a stunning place and extraordinary bake foods buffet. Chose anything it’s simply elevated standards - homely but fresh and innovative. Loved the croissant, bread butter pudding, chouxin. I literally stumbled into this place and what a great place. ❤️❤️❤️

Bread 41 is amazing! The pastries are so tasty and fresh, and the coffee is honestly the best I’ve had in a while. The staff are super friendly, and I love the big shared tables — such a great vibe. The line was out the door, but it moved fast and was totally worth it!

I was really looking forward to visiting Bread 41! As soon as I got there, I queued up and grabbed some bread and coffee. Luckily, there were still a few seats left inside. I tried the custardo, salted caramel knot, and almond croissant. Maybe my expectations were too high, but although the bread wasn’t bad, I was a bit disappointed because it didn’t have that rich buttery flavor I was hoping for. The Americano was a little pricey, but since other drinks were the same price, I think trying something else next time might be a better deal. ☕️🥐
HJ H — Google review
For some reason, this place is always busy. Maybe they do nice bread, never had. I tried cinnamon roll, and although there was a cream on the top of it, it felt a bit dry. Would I go back again? Yes, to try their almond croissants, they looked good.

This is my second time coming here and I loved it just as much! They have an incredible selection of baked goods and pastries, savoury and sweet!! I got a custardo and a cheese and onion tart, both were superb. Staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommend!
