Póg Bachelors Walk is a versatile and Instagrammable breakfast spot located near O'Connell Bridge in Dublin. It offers an all-vegan afternoon tea with flavorful options such as vegan pulled pork melt, sourdough toast with various toppings, and superfood shots. The dessert selection includes red berry cheesecake and banana walnut bread. Póg's pancake offerings are highly photogenic and customizable, catering to vegans, fitness enthusiasts, and those who love indulgent stacks.
We had breakfast here and the service was absolutely excellent. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, which made the whole experience even better. In fact, it was so good that we came back the very next morning—and were treated just as kindly the second time. We tried the pancakes, banana bread, and French toast, and everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The location right by the water adds a lovely touch, and the atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and very enjoyable. All in all, this place is a gem for breakfast—great food, friendly service, and a wonderful setting. Definitely worth a visit (or two!).

Ordered the Kinder pancakes and the Irish breakfast — both were tasty and well-prepared. The menu offers a good variety and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The atmosphere is bright and casual, perfect for a relaxed brunch. The only downside was that the service could’ve been a bit more personable and friendly — it felt slightly rushed or indifferent. Still, a solid spot for breakfast or brunch in the city centre, and I’d definitely go back.
Leon B — Google review
Lovely breakfast options and tasty food. We got the brioche with egg, avocado, relish, halloumi and bacon (no bacon for me) + match latte and americano + the star pancakes. All delicious, in good portion and we got them quickly. Service was good as well. Recommend arriving early. We arrived there at 9am on a Saturday, first to enter but suddenly the place was busy with tourists, but we had a good time there.

I went to Pog for a quick brunch and the food was great. I got the Avo toast and my friend got the scrambled eggs. Both taste delicious. You should note that they are quite popular for brunches and may have a waiting for the same. We waited about 20-25 mins to get a seat.

Excellent service and delicious food! I really enjoyed my meal. everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. They’ve also added new dishes to the menu, and they’re amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Everything about the place was absolutely amazing, the server we had was super sweet & lovely, he definitely gave us a warm welcome to Dublin. We had Vincent as our server and honestly hope others get to experience his service, we all loved him and found him to be the best x

Great options for food! We got the The Star, Avo Toast, and Breakfast Brioche. Super great all around! Staff was great too. The lattes are yummy.
Faith P — Google review
We had a very bad experience. The waiter was very inattentive and constantly rushed to the door to open it to other guests while we were ordering. He also repeated our order correctly but still forgot part of our order so wee had to wait again. They did not have a lot of the menu and it was sad that they could not at least make the dish with one ingredient missing (e.g. the chicken chorizo sandwich could not be ordered even if we were fine with getting it without the chorizo). They also rushed us because there were people waiting even though we only stayed 40 min for a breakfast. We also saw the waiter putting in his eye drops. No washing hands or going to the bathroom, just in front of all the guests. We think that was very unhygienic. The food was good. The french toast was very nice! We will still not be coming again.

The Westbury is an elegant and upscale hotel located just off Dublin's prestigious Grafton Street, nestled between Trinity College and St. Stephens Green. This five-star hotel is the perfect starting point for exploring Dublin's fashionable retail and cultural quarter, with top restaurants, designer stores, Irish pubs, theaters, museums, and art galleries all within walking distance.
Stayed here recently for my Birthday and upgraded to a terrace suite... which was such a great idea. The hotel itself is stunning, staff are incredible and on hand for assistance in anything you could want/ need. The room was incredibly spacious with a huge comfortable bed, seating area and large bathroom. The only down side was, I only stayed one night!! I live in Dublin and this was a real treat but so worth it! I'll be back!
Sarah C — Google review
I have a mixed review of the Westbury after being recommended this place by three different individuals. The hotel itself is fantastic; the staff is great. The attention to detail is great. The turndown service is great. The breakfast is great. My biggest problem (and it was big) is that there are some rooms in the hotel (we were in one) where you cant escape the loud music from the pubs/clubs below. If you stay on a weekend then definitely make sure to ask if you can get a quieter room. Additionally, there was quite a bit of construction going on around our room and we constantly heard sawing noises. I would stay here again because the location is perfect and the staff is amazing, but I would definitely make sure I wasn't facing the same street that I did on this trip.

The best part about this hotel is the Sidecar bar. The bartenders, servers, and manager are the absolute best. By far the best service in all of Dublin when it comes to service in food and drinks. Professional, funny, and just a great time. The hotel itself is eh. For the price, not worth it at all. Rooms are small, food at breakfast is minimal in selection. The downstairs restaurant is fantastic when it comes to food and service. Overall this hotel in opinion is very overrated for the price.
Tyler D — Google review
Ah the Westbury......what to say here..... Well first, the service is top notch. They are very attentive. I liken the rooms to rooms in any major city across the U.S This isnt a knock mind you, but simply a reality of being in a bigger city. They are smaller, but have all the things you would expect from a quality hotel. The bar and restaurant are beautiful. And you are in the heart of Dublin, so you have everything you could ask for. Top Notch.
Joseph W — Google review
The Westbury was hands down the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary and I couldn’t imagine having stayed anywhere else. Every staff member we came into contact with was incredibly kind and accommodating, from the valet and waitstaff to the concierge and housekeeping staff. Waitstaff at WILDE even made sure to remember us and address us by name every morning for breakfast! Every meal we had at WILDE and Balfes was delicious. The hotel’s location couldn’t be any more convenient, being steps from Grafton street and within walking distance of most of Dublin’s top attractions in the city centre. I can’t wait to go back and stay at the Westbury the next time we’re in Dublin.
Sara K — Google review
It's an absolutely stunning hotel and the service is top notch. Every person you interact with is so kind and helpful. We loved our stay here. Brendan, Noa, and Adrian were absolutely lovely and really made our stay memorable.
Erin K — Google review
Of course for this price one expects everything to be great, but I would single out truly spectacular and friendly staff, and very memorable afternoon tea. Only one quibble: workout facility nowhere near the quality of the rest of the place.
Glenn M — Google review
We returned for our 1 year anniversary after staying here on our wedding night. We booked a package that included a complimentary upgrade, cocktails, and late checkout, none of which were properly delivered. The “upgrade” wasn’t available due to an entire floor being closed for works (something we weren’t told in advance), and the noise made it impossible to enjoy the late checkout. It felt misleading to advertise perks that were never realistically available. To add to the frustration, we later saw another package offering the same room plus dinner for less than what we paid, even though we dined at the restaurant anyway. We spent over €400 more for far less value. We raised this twice via email and received only generic responses, with no real effort to address the issue or offer anything meaningful in return. Very disappointing for a 5-star hotel. We expected better service and transparency. We won’t be returning.

The Merrion Hotel Dublin offers elegant accommodations with a touch of sophistication. The hotel boasts two restaurants, a pub, and a cocktail bar for guests to enjoy. Nearby dining options include The Shelbourne's Champagne Terrace, The Garden Terrace at The Merrion, Matt the Thresher's terrace, House Dublin on Leeson Street, and Pennylane Bar off Capel Street.
We really loved our stay at The Merrion. It was comfortable and had a special feel to it. The room wasn’t huge, but it was cozy. The food was really tasty and the service in the restaurant was top-notch: professional and attentive. There were just a couple of things: Underground parking. It’s quite small and tight, and doesn’t feel very well looked after. Staff are coming and going through it, so it feels more like a utility area than proper guest parking. For a hotel of this standard, I think they could do better. Housekeeping. This was a bit surprising. The staff were very chatty, asking personal questions and even commenting on guests’ belongings. It didn’t feel appropriate, and definitely not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel.
Travelmama's R — Google review
We had a delightful two night stay at the hotel and would recommend it highly. It has character and charm combined with impeccable customer service. My 7 year old granddaughter was with us and they had the sweetest bed, bathrobe and slippers for her. The location is perfect with a park around the corner and near the center of the city. We didn't get the chance to visit the restaurant as it was closed but the snacks and drinks were perfect.

Amazing hotel! The staff in The Merrion is really five star. So is Tiernan from Concierge - great recommendations and we couldn't do without him. Reception staff especially Marleen was extremely helpful and very comforting. Great location in town and the Cellar Bar is a hidden gem

Huge thank you to Alma for looking after us so well last week. She is an amazing Events Manager! We cannot wait to have our wedding in the Merrion Hotel now! Thank you so much Alma for all your attention to detail! Dr Laura Fee x

This was easily the best hotel I've ever been to and I've been to other 5-star hotels. The service here is unmatched, they never missed a detail! The staff is all so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and spacious! Whenever I'm back in Dublin, I'm staying at The Merrion.
Sean C — Google review
A wonderful place to stay in Dublin. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. There is a great selection of food in both the continental and hot meals. The Merrion is located about a 5 minute walk from Grafton Street.
Keith A — Google review
Excellent. Consistent. Warm, homely and hugely professional. It's as good as it always was from day 1. The new extension and the extended Garden Room with the Cabanas ...Just heavenly. Oh, the food, amazing, everything about the food is superb. We had a delightful lunch. We haven't stayed there in an age, mainly now because we have a little dog and The Merrion isn't pet friendly...that's a pity. Congratulations to everyone involved. And we see that the wonderful Art Collection is being added to all the time.
Rita K — Google review
I stayed one night mid week in a Queen room with breakfast included. The room was very well equipped, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was just average for a 5 star hotel. I've had better at less expensive hotels in Dublin.

The Cake Cafe is a charming and trendy low-level cafe with courtyard seating, offering a diverse and mouth-watering brunch menu. The Mediterranean-style dishes include options like salt cod croquettas with paprika aioli and black pudding with caramelized apple salad, providing a unique twist to the usual brunch fare. This popular spot also offers an excellent afternoon tea featuring sandwiches on freshly baked bread and an assortment of miniature cakes.
One of the best brunch places in town! All the food is simply stunning and a feast for the eyes and your taste buds. Pair that with some great coffee and you've got a winner on your hands! Not only that, but the way the café is tucked in a small courtyard makes for a lovely location! There might be some waiting times, as it is a deservedly popular place, but it is so worth it! Especially when you can sit outside on warm days. And to top it all off, you've got a whole array of cakes to try as well - it's in the name, isn't it?
Philip Z — Google review
I went with my friend for brunch, but unfortunately, there weren’t many options on the menu. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with ketchup, but there was way too much ketchup—it was the only thing I could taste. My friend got a brunch plate, but the toast was really hard. We also ordered a mocha, but the flavor was strange and didn’t really taste like chocolate. I had a slice of lemon cake too, but it barely had any lemon flavor—felt more like a plain cake. Considering the prices, we expected a bit more. Maybe it just wasn’t a good day (it was raining, lol), but overall, we were a bit disappointed.

I love the breakfast and lunch options they have. Their drinks are delicious! The service is great; they're very friendly and helpful. I love going there to read a book quietly. The people are always smiling and kind. 🌿🍃🌱🍀😌🙌🏻 I love that the staff not only speaks English, I can speak Spanish and there are also some who speak Portuguese and Italian 👏🏻👏🏻🤍

A hidden gem behind a bookshop!Such a cozy and charming spot! Loved the Green Goddess ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and the buttermilk pancakes ⭐⭐⭐⭐, though the fruit topping was a bit too sweet. The cappuccino ⭐⭐⭐ and hot chocolate ⭐⭐ weren’t my favorites, but the atmosphere, quick service and overall vibe made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy breakfast.

Great cakes but do not do takeaway. They pack the cakes on the side for some reason and they get all over the box. (We carried the box for 5 min walking and we held it right side up)

Very very good food, we waited an hour for our food which was weird considering I ordered hummus toast! The food was incredible and the coffee was good just a long wait!
Shayne C — Google review
It kills me to have to post a review about what was, once, my favourite café in Dublin. I came here this morning to treat myself and my friend to some coffee and brunch before work. After coming in, I noticed that the place was almost empty. Perfect. We were promptly seated and given a menu. Both myself and my guest ordered coffee, a scone and the 'Scramble'. The server asked if we'd like the scones with the scrambles, we indicated that we didn't have a preference. Lovely. Off to a great start. However, it didn't take long for things to start coming apart. Firstly, the server brought us our two scones, but no coffees. Not ideal, but not a big deal. Surely, it would have made more sense to bring us the baked goods after our scrambles, but whatever, we'll roll with it. When the coffee did eventually arrive, we had already finished our scones. Okay, all a little disappointing, but these things happen. Next, we waited for our food. We waited. And waited. In vain, we waited. Our plates weren't cleared, we weren't checked up on at all. In fact, we were completely ignored. Our coffees finished, we fancied another, but still we couldn't get the attention of any staff; who seemed to be congregated around the kitchen taking photos of a dish on the pass. As restlessness set in, I checked my phone and saw that it had been 40 mins since I sat down. I decided to ask how much longer my food would be. I then had to leave the table, approach the congregated staff members and ask for an update on my food. I asked 'is my food coming up soon', my waiter looked at me and said in an agitated tone, 'not yet', but at this stage, I'd had enough. I cancelled the food. Feeling dejected and disappointed, I asked for the bill. My server simply said 'sorry about that' in an offhand manner. When she she came out to take my payment, she repeated 'sorry about that', without making eye contact or showing any genuine remorse for having delivered such a poor customer experience. I decided to offer some feedback. I told her that coffee should always come before food and it was unacceptable that we had finished our food before our coffee arrived. She told me that it was the way things were done at Cake Café. When I insisted that it was uniform etiquette across all cafés and restaurants, she simply said 'not here, some places do things differently'. She had an air of scorn about her temperament which I found a little unprofessional. She then repeated 'sorry about the restaurant', repeating her claim that it's restaurant policy to deliver coffee to customers once their food is finished. She didn't offer any commiseration. Her whole demeanour was angry and confrontational, which is especially disappointing, considering ours was so polite. I work in service and have done for the past 10 years. I'm incredibly forgiving when it comes to staff mishaps when im dining out. But a level of service this poor is inexcusable. If one of my colleagues acted in the same was as our server did today, Id consider them wholly unsuitable for the industry and would wager they wouldnt last very long in the job. Again, it pains me to post this. I really hope that you guys can make whatever changes necessary to restore the level of service for which you were previously regarded.

I took my mom here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday while we visited London. The surroundings are simple, but I loved the atmosphere. There’s a great outdoor seating space which we couldn’t use because of the rain, but it was so beautiful to walk through. I tried the roasted vegetable sandwich, which was amazing. We shared a cake plate, and a pot of tea. Everything was so delicious!! On top of that, our waitress really went above and beyond and gave us incredible service the entire time we were there. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go!

The Atrium Lounge, located at The Westin Hotel, offers a unique experience with its Writers Tea event and beautiful decor. Influenced by renowned Irish writers like James Joyce and W.B Yeats, the lounge serves divine sweet and savory treats that cater to every palate. Situated near Trinity College, it provides an ideal location for visitors. The airy and light-filled setting offers inventive afternoon treats with views of the sky above.
After a failed attempt of afternoon tea in London, we booked this in a rush hoping to get a true afternoon tea experience. I’m so glad our first reservation didn’t go as planned because this was amazing! The food was delicious, the tea was great and the holiday decor was perfect. We enjoyed every bite and they brought out a special dessert for my birthday. Highly recommend adding this to your Dublin itinerary!!

We came for afternoon tea with my mother and mentioned that we were celebrating a graduation, but nothing special was done for the occasion. The food and tea were beautifully presented, with careful attention to our dietary needs—gluten-free, garlic-free, and no pork. Our reservation was at 4 PM, and their website stated that afternoon tea continues until 5:30 PM. When we arrived, there was live piano music, but it ended around 4:15. When we asked why it wasn’t continuing, we were told it had started at 3 PM and had already ended. If this had been mentioned on the website, we would have scheduled our reservation accordingly. If tea service continues until 5:30, we believe the piano music should as well. After 15 minutes of piano, all we heard was bar noise and crying babies. This experience did not match the standards expected from a hotel of this level, especially at this price point.

Enjoyed an absolutely lovely VEGAN AFTERNOON TEA in a gorgeous natural-light filled room! I was pleasantly surprised they have a vegan afternoon tea menu, which is accompanied with as much tea as you would like from their selection. The tea service is also beautiful, with birds and flowers. The vegan feta and mushroom sandwich was particularly good, and I recommend the Irish Cream Coffee tea flavor, with some sugar and oak milk. A wonderful experience—thank you!

We had the Japanese Afternoon tea for two in The Atrium. Lovely afternoon. Ambiance Very relaxing. Live piano music played until late afternoon. Open and airy. Food A delicious plate of treats a traditional afternoon tea with a Japanese twist. Every was presented very well though if I’m very critical it looked like it had been set for a while ready to bring out. Sandwich section was lovely. Favourite was the hummus and the brown bread from the egg mayo. Least fav the chicken waffle. Scones and pastries next. Fav. Cherry scone. There was suppose to be a 5 spice flavour to some of this tier but I struggled to get it. Top tier all the sweet treats. Very sweet and luscious, winner here was the cherry and chocolate torte. Very rich. At this stage though I opted for coffee to balance the sweetness. Teas I tried a number of teas. The Darjeeling Tea. Tasty but didn’t have the usual sweetness to it. The Japanese cherry. Very delicate and you could taste the cherry. Peach and ginseng, refreshing and not over powering. Price Expensive for the serving. €59 per person. Service Very friendly and attentive service from the staff. Seated quickly. Slow to take the initial order but once that happened it was very good. Venue Lovely venue a smidgen tired eg our menu had pen marks on the back of the leather folder, the wall by the table was marked. Table cloths a little off white Lovely table setting. Beautiful delph, silver cutlery. Lovely selection of glasses for drinks. Staff have a lovely uniform. Summary If you’re a fan of afternoon teas then this is worth adding to your list, especially their signature option.

Fantastic afternoon tea at the College Green. The food was lovely, the tea selection was delicious and extensive and the service was excellent - professional, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Thank you Stella and Lillian! Highly recommend.

What a treat!! We went to The Atrium Lounge for afternoon tea and had a wonderful time. Great selection of teas, lovely food and amazing staff. Nikhil was really friendly and professional, went above and beyond to make our experience special.

The lounge looked so cozy for Christmas and the many rooms with the different fireplaces allowed every group to have a cozy area. We went there for tea time to celebrate a birthday and it was great to know that we could ask for as many kinds of tea as we wanted, or any coffee. Our friends loved the savory sandwiches and sweets but I didn't care for them as much. The different waiters and waitresses were really polite and professional. We had a nice time.

Afternoon Tea in The Atrium Lounge at The College Green Hotel exceeded my expectations. The Atrium itself is lovely & with the fire burning beside us led to a wonderful relaxing Afternoon. Staff were truly fantastic- every single staff member with no exception were a credit to the hotel in their attention to detail & customer service. The Afternoon Tea itself was spectacular and in line with what you'd expect from such a fabulous hotel. I can not recommend Afternoon Tea here highly enough.

This hotel was an incredible experience. The rooms and Service were impeccable. It was also easy to get to the rest of the city from this beautiful landmark. Patrick, the concierge I worked with was amazing and went above and beyond in helping plan our free day. The Shelbourne Hotel – Exceptional Service & Timeless Elegance We recently hosted an event at The Shelbourne Hotel, and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our gathering a time to remember. The hotel itself is stunning—elegant yet welcoming, with a classic charm that sets the perfect tone for any occasion. One standout moment was breakfast each morning, where a kind gentleman not only greeted me by name but remembered me throughout my stay. That personal touch made all the difference. I would absolutely return and highly recommend The Shelbourne to anyone looking for a luxurious and heartfelt experience.

The architectural details in this property, inside and out, are wonderful. Classy, extravagant, extremely well maintained, staying here felt like a special treat. Location is amazing, walking distance to everything we did over a couple day stay. I’d love to stay here again, hopefully many more times. Food and drink options are all delicious and well done, you just can’t miss here!

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The rooms were a great size — clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. What stood out even more was the international vibe, with guests from all over the world, which made the atmosphere feel vibrant and welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the drinks were top-notch. Whether you’re by the pool or at the bar, the service is excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-rounded, enjoyable stay!

Stayed at The Shelbourne for 3 nights with family, this 200 year old hotel an elegant mix of history and luxury style. The rooms are beautifully decorated, combining old‑world charm (marble, chandeliers, stained glass) with modern comforts. 200 Year old Bar & dining was outstanding, The Saddle Room is a standout, and afternoon tea in the Lord Mayor’s Lounge felt special. Staff are welcoming and attentive. Overall memorable and Awesome stay with The Shelbourne!

A lovely hotel in the heart of Dublin. The staff was fantastic, from the concierge to the front desk to the restaurant. The breakfast offerings were also delicious. Definitely recommend for an elegant stay at a fantastic location.

The Shelbourne is the definition of classic European luxury. From the moment you step inside, it carries that “old money, wealth whispers” vibe—sophisticated, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. The restaurants and bar are fantastic, the accommodations immaculate, and the entire property feels like a true landmark. The location couldn’t be better—everything we wanted to see in Dublin was within walking distance, and the staff were always ready to guide us with warmth and professionalism. This is a hotel that upholds the European five-star standard, which frankly feels closer to seven stars by American comparison. The horseshoe bar is an absolute must - and Michael will craft you a whisky sour that will ruin every pub in town! Such a special add to the experience! If you want the real Dublin luxury experience, this is it.

Dublin's South William Street is now home to a new and trendy spot called Pink. This restaurant, which opened in late 2021, lives up to its name with everything from pink cocktails (dubbed Pinktails) to a themed Pink Afternoon Tea. The entire space is decked out in various shades of pink, making it an ideal choice for celebrating special occasions like Galentine's Day or Valentine's Day.
Friendly pleasant staff. Booked in advance. 1 child 1 adult. Pink Afternoon Tea. Savoury food was lovely especially the ham cheese croquette. Everthing was pink, lots of pink sweet cakes a little girls dream. Selection of teas and drinks. So much we couldn't finish so brought them home.

Amazing girls' day at Pink Restaurant! The atmosphere was gorgeous—fun, vibrant, and perfect for a catch-up. The chicken and waffles were the highlight: crispy, juicy, and full of flavour. Everything looked and tasted amazing. The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. A brilliant spot for a girls' day out—can’t wait to go back!
Niamh L — Google review
Went to Pink for the first time with a group of about ten ladies to celebrate a special birthday. Very excited to experience this and the set up and food were absolutely fabulous 🤩. Our party spent a lot of money in a very short time. However, the experience was overshadowed by the fact that the staff, from the minute we walked in told us we had a two hour slot, which we accepted totally but then proceeded to (no other way to phrase it) harass us stating when it was time to order the food to rushing us at the end, to the extent that the feeling was very uncomfortable. One of our ladies didn't receive her already paid for coffee and felt it was too late to ask for it again. A real shame as I would advocate the venue and delicious food but staff need how to approach customers, one or two gentle reminders are fine but not full on demanding from the minute we say down. We left, on time, made no fuss, but I would think twice about returning.
Donna R — Google review
This was my second time visiting Pink and it was just as good as my first visit. The decor is fabulous, the staff were so attentive and the food was delicious. We were here for the afternoon tea this time and it was amazing, the portions are plentiful and very appealing to the eye, would highly recommend

About food & atmosphere not much to say, a bit expensive if you compare quality/amount , but if you want to eat those small sweet a tea moment must to do a reservation before. Service needs to improve, we wait 20min for our check and the receptionist was aggressive-passive when we went there to pay because we wait for so long and she didn’t like it. Service in general is not too good. It’s okay for pics
Claudia A — Google review
As always, Pink was amazing. They easily accomodated my request for a gluten free meal, and even provided a dessert that was not on the menu. Their mocktails are out of this world, as is their lovely service.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The pink tones definitely create a unique vibe. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I really enjoyed both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. The desserts looked amazing. Modern music is playing, adding to the overall cool atmosphere. The only cons is the accessibility of the restaurant. At the entrance, you’ll encounter two large steps, and the restroom is also located downstairs.

Mouthwatering, lots of options, and a lovely setting to have lunch. Generous servings for the price, especially in Dublin. We had a main and two salads each and it was all so yum!

A fancy cafe just at the entrance of the Chester Beatty museum. Be careful as their menu tends to capture our wallets with so many fancy items one would desire to munch on. This cafe makes up for the free entrance to the museum. The lemon and blueberry cake I had ordered was simply scrumptious. Tea was pretty good too. Clean washrooms at the side as well. Would recommend this place just for a quick cheap bite else not.

we ordered three coffees (there's no table service) and brought them to our table, paying €10.35 (for three coffees). Let alone the fact that the coffees were burnt, after sitting for a good seven minutes, we were playing cards and the staff said we had to move from the paying table (as if we hadn't paid almost €11 for that monstrosity of coffees), when the bar wasn't even full. I looked at the other prices and a tiny piece of bronie cost €5. Also, there was water in a dispenser and it tasted like dirt, not exaggerating. Obviously i gave 1 star because i couldn’t give 0 stars. Highly discouraged.

The Old Music Shop Restaurant, located in the heart of Dublin's city center at The Castle Hotel, offers a delightful afternoon tea experience with a changing theme. Their upcoming edition is dedicated to Mother's Day and is priced at 29.95 per person. The menu includes a variety of savory and sweet items such as cream cheese and egg mayo sandwiches, chicken with herby stuffing sandwiches, and honey roasted ham with mustard sandwiches.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Would definitely recommend. They also accept a GroupOn coupon if you buy one. It’s well priced and the food + tea was great. The food includes some desserts, sandwiches and some bakery items like scones with jam and butter. The staff is really nice and their service was quick. You can choose tea, coffee or can get a bottle of Prosecco.

The Old Music Shop Restaurant in Dublin derives its name from its location in the former premises of Walton’s Music Shop, a renowned establishment that operated there for over 80 years. Founded in 1924 by Martin Walton—a musician who participated in the 1916 Easter Rising and later served as a bodyguard to Michael Collins—Walton’s became a cornerstone of Irish musical culture. It was home to Ireland’s first music school, the Dublin College of Music, and is remembered for its motto: “If you’re going to sing a song, sing an Irish song” . Coffee and cafe in the Castle hotel. Don’t be fooled the entrance is through the hotel. They have a great menu with generous portions.

Had afternoon tea here with my parents on father’s day. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing. Tables are spaced out so it doesn’t feel crammed. Tea was perfect & lots of flavours to choose from. The food was delicious. Good value for such a lovely afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.

We booked an afternoon tea for two at 3 PM at The Old Music Shop in Dublin, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. While booking online, I requested a window table if possible — not only did they accommodate this, but they went above and beyond. We were greeted with a big smile and such a joyful attitude that it set the tone for the entire experience. I had called earlier to say we might be running late, and instead of any stress, they completely reassured us — no pressure, no problem. The staff was outstanding. They created a warm, personal atmosphere, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I wish I had caught the names of the team (two hostesses and a host), because they absolutely deserve to be recognized. At one point, the owner, Finn, came over to check on us 🤯 — and we made sure to tell him just how fantastic the team had been. The room itself, part of The Castle Hotel, is beautifully decorated and has that quiet, timeless charm that makes you want to stay for hours. Natural sunlight poured in through the windows, adding to the peaceful and elegant vibe. The menu matched exactly what was shown online and exceeded our expectations. We started with a generous selection of flavorful sandwiches, moved on to fresh scones (oh god 😍), and ended with a delightful variety of desserts — chocolate mousse, macarons, and more. The tea and coffee selection was great, and we were even offered free refills after the first round, which was a lovely touch. We’re not experts, but we’ve had our share of visiting cafes, restaurants, etc. — and this place gave us far more than we expected for the price. Honestly, I’m worried I won’t have such a good experience again for a long, long time. My mother was beyond happy, and I know she’ll treasure this day for years. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for such a memorable evening ❤️ — and to Finn for checking in and making us feel like more than just customers.

Ladurée is a refined bakery of Parisian origin, renowned for its exquisite French macarons available in various flavors. The establishment offers an elegant and inviting atmosphere on South William Street, providing a sophisticated Afternoon Tea experience for two. This includes Prosecco, smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a choice of dessert from the counter. Additionally, guests can savor Ladurée's famous macarons.
Visited this small restaurant recently and had a pleasant experience overall. We tried two desserts along with tea. The desserts were tasty, though they didn’t quite stand out for the price—enjoyable, but nothing exceptional. What really made the visit nice was the friendly and welcoming staff, along with the charming interior. The restaurant has a cozy French atmosphere that makes it a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area, especially for the ambiance and service.

Beautiful location in Dublin, I felt like I was on a Parisian street. We had the brunch, it was great value for money and the staff were friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious, I can’t wait to come back! An 5 star holiday brunch to start the day, thank you.

Ladurée in Dublin is absolutely magical. From the moment you walk in, the décor feels straight out of a Victorian-era salon — gilded mirrors, ornate moldings, elegant pastel tones, delicate chandeliers, and beautifully upholstered chairs that transport you somewhere whimsical and refined. It has that timeless French elegance, polished and romantic. ([Letters of Wanderlust][1]) It’s my absolute favorite place to order hot chocolate. The chocolate is of exceptional quality — rich, smooth, perfectly balanced — a drink you linger over. There’s something about wrapping your hands around a warm cup in this setting that makes you appreciate every sip. Also, the service is consistently lovely: attentive, courteous, and always with that little extra touch that makes you feel welcomed and pampered. If you’re in Dublin and craving something sweet, comforting, and beautiful — Ladurée is the place.

The Dylan Hotel in Dublin is a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel located in the city center, close to popular attractions like the Grand Canal, Aviva Stadium, and National Museum of Dublin. The hotel offers posh rooms with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and iPods, blending contemporary and traditional furnishings. Guests can indulge in a chic dining experience at the modern Irish restaurant and bar, which serves unique afternoon tea featuring desserts infused with Baileys or champagne.
Located on a quiet street, this small cushy hotel offers a great experience. The original building housed the nurses from the hospital around the corner. The hotel is listed on the Michelin Guide and deserves all the great reviews. The room we had was spacious and well appointed and the beds were comfortable. It’s a great location if you want to be out of the Temple Bar madness which is what we wanted. The food is outstanding at the restaurant
Bob B — Google review
The Dylan is a beautiful boutique hotel. Giving 5 stars seems over the top ... usually. But it really is that good. Every member of the staff is polite and friendly. They engage in a way that truly communicates care for your experience. We stayed 2 nights over the weekend, explored the country during the week and returned for one night before returning home. On our final one night stay, they graciously moved us up to a suite to make our last night in the country extra special. Both rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We had everything we could need. If I had one minor complaint, I'd say the rooms felt too warm at night. When we arrived, there was a cute little plate of deserts and a hand written note to welcome us. Super nice touch. Coming back to the room each night, there were chocolates and bottles of water. We had breakfast every morning. The coffee, juices and food were delicious. The bar area and restaurant are clean and attractive. We enjoyed chatting with the bar tender on one evening. The location of the Dylan is nearly perfect. It's clean and very safe. There are some restaurants round the corner. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the downtown area. We never felt unsafe walking. I might feel unsafe after dark in some areas of the city. Some of the city was less than clean, making this little area extra special. It was absolutely the nicest part of the city that we saw. If we return to Dublin we will absolutely return to the Dylan!
Tia P — Google review
This is a boutique hotel, in the city center but a bit further from the noisy streets which I loved. It has it’s own little area at the end of a small street which is great. Restaurants and supermarkets very close by. The rooms are decent although way too many furnitures, which made it more crowded that it needed to be. There was no kattle in the room and the espresso machine didn’t function perfectly but the team is so helpful, they fixed it all. They even helped me with an electricity adapter. Super nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend it and I would give 4.5 starts if that existed.
Dana B — Google review
Lovely break from the corporately bland competition. Welcoming, great location for walking into the city, quiet but with a couple of great bars just around the corner. I arrived early from a flight but they sorted a room whilst I enjoyed breakfast. Perfect.
Richard C — Google review
Our stay at the Dylan Hotel was a highlight of our time in Dublin—an elegant blend of history, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. Housed in a beautifully restored Victorian building that once served as a nurses’ home for the Royal City of Dublin Hospital, the hotel retains its architectural charm while offering modern luxury in every detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff were simply fantastic—warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. The check-in was smooth, and every interaction felt personal and thoughtful. Our room was lovely: quiet, comfortable, and designed for relaxation. The bed was plush, the ambiance serene, and the overall atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast at The Eddison restaurant. The menu was fresh and flavorful—croissants, fruits, rich coffee, and more—all served in a bright, stylish setting that made mornings feel indulgent. The Dylan’s location is ideal: tucked away in a peaceful corner of Dublin 4, yet just a short walk from the city’s vibrant heart. Whether you're drawn by its history, its boutique charm, or its impeccable service, this hotel delivers a truly memorable experience.

An absolutely fantastic venue. Myself and my best friend had a joint baby shower in the pink room. There were 15 of us and the service, the people, drinks and food were all incredible. We were able to bring our own decor: balloons, candles, etc and they were just so accommodating and helpful. Could not get over the food!! The arancini main course especially was out of this world, with the freshest of Vietnamese salads. Everyone was raving about their dishes. And their mocktails were top notch! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an event space, birthday, engagement party, baby shower etc. Thank you House!!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The price was $160 per night. Let me start with the good things (don’t worry, this part will be short): * Great location, everything is nearby, and the airport bus stops just about 100 meters from the hotel. * The rooms are clean. * There’s a good restaurant downstairs (but I’m here to review the hotel, not the restaurant). Boom boom boom, that’s it… Now the bad — or maybe even terrible for $160: * There is a bar/restaurant downstairs with loud music, and you can hear the bass even on the 3rd floor. For us it was tolerable, but if you’re staying on lower floors or if peace and quiet are important to you — this place is not for you. * The heating in the room did not work. I mentioned this to the staff a couple of times, they checked it, saw that it doesn’t work — and that was the end of the story. It was around 5–7°C outside at night and in the morning, not much warmer during the day either, so imagine how uncomfortable it is to stay in such cold conditions. And this costs $160 — usually discomfort comes for free, but not here. * There is no proper lighting in the room, just a few weak night lamps. It’s quite dark if you need to work on a laptop or have poor eyesight, or even if you just want to read a book. And this is $160! * The water pressure is terribly weak. Normally it wouldn’t be a big issue, but since the room was freezing, taking a shower became a real challenge — you’re literally shaking from the cold every time. And this is $160! Ps: We’ll see how the hotel handles communication with its guests — we did expect at least some kind of compensation for the discomfort we paid for.

The Iveagh Garden Hotel offers polished rooms with a cozy atmosphere and views of the historic garden. The hotel's Art Deco style lobby features elegant chandeliers, globe lighting, and a library motif, providing a tranquil welcome. Adjacent to the hotel is the serene oasis of Iveagh Gardens, while St Stephens Green is just a short walk away. Located on Harcourt Street, it's an ideal spot for enjoying afternoon tea in the lobby overlooking the gardens.
Lovely hotel with premium service. Everything, from the check in to the check out is perfect. I stayed at the City Pod and it was an amazing room, beautifully decorated and 100% functional. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very polite. If you’re staying in a city pod, know that it is very noisy (I don’t know why), but it doesn’t take from the experience. Great location!

Such a lovely hotel and the young gals at the front desk are delightful. Although we only had one night here, we would definitely come back and stay here. The public spaces were very nice. The room was well appointed and little details like multiple hooks in the bathroom were so appreciated. There could have been a little more light (from fixtures) in the room as it was a little hard to see what we were packing but all in all, a lovely place to stay. We will be back!

Very comfortable stay! Location is great, and what really made the stay was the staff. The gentlemen at reception especially, and the porter, very welcoming and offered us complimentary breakfast too which was brilliant! The waiter at the restaurant was so friendly too, and breakfast was full of variety. As for the rooms, very comfortable and has the basic amenities you need. Comfortable beds and good space and spotless too. The only downside is the parking situation wasnt the most ideal, it would be handy to have closer parking and for less price and hassle instead of having to go every 24hrs to renew the ticket. But overall, great stay and will look forward to coming back again!

This hotel is an absolute must-stay in Dublin! The location couldn’t be better — it’s right in the heart of the city and close to so many of Dublin’s best spots. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, but what really made my stay special was the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. A special shoutout to Daniel — he was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. He helped me with my luggage when I arrived and, when I checked out, made sure I got a taxi to my next destination. He even waited with me and helped load my bags into the car. His thoughtfulness really stood out during my stay. Highly recommend booking this hotel!

I went for afternoon tea at the Iveagh Garden Hotel today and had the most gorgeous time! The atmosphere was cosy and comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly, polite, and attentive. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for somewhere that’s not too fancy but also not too casual. The selection of teas was fabulous, and every bite of food was absolutely delicious. For the quality and experience, I thought the price was very reasonable. It’s also super convenient to get to, being only an 8-minute walk from St. Stephen’s Green Luas stop. I would 100% recommend and will be returning again in the future 😊

Wow, this hotel was just exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we got a lovely warm welcome from the friendly staff and a gorgeous warm fire in reception. We were staying for the Dublin City Marathon and had a few meals here, one with 13 of us. Gita was amazing as were most of the staff we met. The food was lovely, the staff were great, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were near the roadside on our first night and found it a little noisy, but once we mentioned it, we were moved straight away without any fuss. That level of customer service and the genuine effort to make things right isn’t something you find everywhere, these people are exceptional. The warmth and hospitality here really capture what Ireland is all about. A special word of thanks to Orla and Brandon, who looked after our every need and went above and beyond for us. We’ll certainly be back!

I stay in hotels every week in Dublin as part of my work. I discovered this place by accident and decided to give it a go. Very glad that I did. Staff are always very professional and would rival those of any of the 5 star establishments in Dublin. A particular shout out has to be given to Orla who always remembers my name and gives a friendly, swift and efficient check in. I also just witnessed her check in a large family in very impressive fluent sounding french. They also seemed very happy.

The most essential factor for any hotel is the quality of the rest it provides. The attractive lobby, spacious bedroom, and modern bathroom mean nothing if a guest can not sleep. Unfortunately, this was our recent experience. We had one night in Dublin before an early morning pickup for the airport. Our room faced Harcourt Street where a noisy and raucous street party kept us awake until well after 3am! At best we got 3 hours of sleep. Adding insult to injury, we learned that the source of the noise was a Halloween Party hosted by a nightclub associated with the Iveagh Garden itself. Hotel management should have known about the potential for disruption to guests and forewarned us or moved guests to the back of the hotel. Not once did the hotel apologize. That’s BAD service. If you stay, demand a room that doesn’t face Harcourt Street.

Bewley's Grafton Street is a grand cafe adorned with mahogany and stained glass, attracting both locals and tourists. It offers an array of treats including cakes, sandwiches, and pasta. The iconic cafe has recently reopened after extensive restoration, drawing visitors to admire its stunning atmosphere and indulge in its signature cherry buns and Mary cake.
Wonderful ambiente, great food, extremely attentive and friendly staff. But you better reserve well in advance, especially for lunch. The prices are quite normal for Dublin - the portions are more on the skimpy side. But the quality of the food is impeccable and the atmosphere is that of old Europe at its best.

Today I had the real pleasure of trying one of those wonderfully looking sweet buns. I decided to get the almond superdough croissant, and I wasn’t disappointed. The croissant was huge, crispy, and full of that distinctive almond flavor, dusted with powdered sugar on top. The place inside looks interesting – it has vintage vibes. The service was pleasant and kind. The only thing is that the place is quite crowded, so it’s a bit noisy. But the taste of the food is so great that I’m sure I’ll come back to try some yummy scones.

Perfect spot for breakfast/lunch! Came with my family of 5 and enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Enjoyed our meals with tea. Our plates were clean at the end of this meal. Enjoyed my eggs Benedict and my dad enjoyed his Irish breakfast. Our waiter Aoife was also very accommodating and answered our questions about the area! Will HIGHLY recommend coming here for anyone visiting Dublin and wanting a sweet Irish experience.

Amazing little experience, we are visiting from the States and local shop clerk sent us here when we asked where to get a great Irish Coffee while out shopping. And it did not disappoint, the service was great and the food was delicious. The added little highlight of the experience was being able to eat upstairs and over look the streets below.

Had breakfast at the famous Bewley's Oriental Tea Rooms. Huge Irish breakfast along with coffee and orange juice. The wheaten bread that came with was so good. The fresh patisserie selection looks amazing but sadly, no room after that huge feed. Feels decadent without being excessively priced.

The Ivy Dublin is a stylish brasserie located on Dawson Street, offering classic and global-inspired dishes in a quirky and colorful ambiance. This London export has become one of the hottest restaurants in Dublin city center, attracting both locals and visitors. The restaurant's iconic botanical interiors complement its all-day gastro menu, featuring international dishes like tableside steak tartare, salt and pepper squid tempura, and chargrilled Irish halloumi.
Had a lovely dining experience at The Ivy on Dawson Street! The ambience was elegant yet relaxed, with beautiful decor that made the whole place feel special without being too formal. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The duck salad was equally impressive—light, vibrant, and well-balanced with just the right amount of richness. The only drawback was the wait time, which was a bit longer than expected. However, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout, which helped make the delay more bearable. Overall, a great spot for a treat or special occasion. I’d definitely return—especially for that steak!

I absolutely loved the lunch menu at Ivy’s! The Chicken Milanese was a standout – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and paired with the most delicious, tangy dressing. For dessert, I treated myself to the trifle, which was wonderfully fresh and bursting with flavour. A truly satisfying meal from start to finish!

We went in yesterday at 7:00pm without a reservation but the lady at the reception was kind enough to squeeze us in around 7:45pm while we were having a bottle of wine by the bar. Ordered the summer 3 courses set which is great value for money regarding the atmosphere, quality of food and exceptional service. We were served by Andy last night, he is a star! The restaurant was obviously packed and with limited manpower, he was still able to maintain an exceptionally high standard of service not only to us and I could also see how he interacted with other customers too. Thank you for the amazing night and we will come back again.

Stepping into the Ivy is an experience in itself, thanks to its wonderfully original and fully committed floral decor. The central bar is a showstopper, adding to the stunning ambiance. Beyond the beautiful setting, the food was excellent, with every dish perfectly executed. We had a great time.

I have visited 2 other branches of The Ivy, in the UK ( London and Brighton) and not been overly impressed with the food and always left with a feeling that is more about the hipe. I was delighted that this experience was easy better. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and not rushed away from the table. A little extra fuss for a birthday 🎂 celebration 🍾. Highly recommended 👌.

This place filled all the criteria for a memorable experience: 1. Beautifully detailed aesthetics everywhere (possibly the most beautiful toilet space we've ever seen). 2. Inclusivity in service for those of us who cannot have gluten 3. A kind and fun staff. We even asked for a picture, that's how much we appreciated them!

Really loved everything about this place. The food was excellent, the place was beautiful and the service was courteous and friendly. We had the scallops for starters which were amazing. Prawn and monkfish curry and the chicken Milanese. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The food and service was amazing, even on a very busy Saturday night. Our server was amazing and he made sure the kitchen knew of my food allergy. He took extra care to let me know which items contained my food allergy. The restaurant was very loud, so he prepared for that. Other than that, it was an amazing experience.

The Vintage Teapot is a cozy tearoom located just moments away from the lively OConnell Street. The interior is adorned with charming oriental paintings, antique teapots, and silk cushions, creating a homely atmosphere. Their signature afternoon tea is served in multi-tiered bird cages and features delectable treats such as blinis with lemon cream and smoked salmon, along with an assortment of traditional Chinese teas to complement the experience.
This is such a charming tea shop in the city center. They have a huge variety of teas and good options of cakes too. They also have dumplings if you feel something more Asian. The interior design is really lovely and they have these couch area that looked really cozy. It’s more suitable for groups and I think you may need to reserve it in advance. Just to add that even if the place is in the city center, it’s quiet and a perfect place if you wanna get away from the buzzing main streets :)

This place is cosy and has a relaxing vibe. I love the decor of the place, it's very cute. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet, and the customer service was on point. I highly recommend the traditional Chinese tea. This you'll find on the first page of the menu. The desserts were not the tastiest we've ever had, but we enjoyed it with soft music playing in the background. My partner and I enjoyed the atmosphere so much, that we lost track of time. We'll definitely visit again to explore the menu. So, great job and kudos the girl that ran the entire place by herself today!

Great place to relax and enjoy a variety of different teas . The ambience of the place was great and the lemon cheesecake was amazing . I loved the different teas there and the seating was very comfortable I'd definitelly recommend this to everyone to visit. Edit : I'm back for the 2nd time and am not disappointed . The tea was great, I ordered the chocolate fudge cake and felt it was of high quality and was decadent . I enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings and as always lo ved the ambience there Edit 2: Back again and get a better experience each time

Tldr: nice Cafe to chill Quite little place, good dumplings, good ambience, friendly staff - blackforest was above average (I've had better). Dumplings could improve(more stuffing perhaps), but good nonetheless. Overall, you'll have a nice evening in this place.

This is a centrally located teahouse with a great location. The dumplings were very good, but the tea was bland. The owner has a very bad attitude towards the staff and you can hear her shouting at them. The wait was long as the staff were few and busy.

Cosy little spot with a very good selection of Chinese teas. For food you can choose between a nice selection of cakes or Chinese dumplings. As a huge fan of dim sum I just had to go with the Har-Gao (steamed shrimp dumplings) which were some of the best I've ever eaten and brought back fond memories of my time back in Asia. For tea I've got the Gua Pian green tea which was very delicious as well. When you can't decide on which tea to get the friendly staff is going to help you choose your tea so don't worry. They know their tea well and can recommend you a good one based on your preferences. The prices were good as well and I enjoyed the nice atmosphere and pretty interior.

Great place to enjoy your evenings if you are not up to going to pubs and other loud places. The place is very cosy and offers a lot of tea varieties. We got their special black Chinese tea, but it tasted slightly seaweedy for my taste and the lady who works there did not explain anything. Also, the toilets were very disgusting... people need to learn how to flush the toilet after themselves.
Mar B — Google review
Been a fan of their other place, M&L (which is just across the road from the Teapot), for a good while and my only regret is not visiting The Vintage Teapot sooner! Very cosy atmosphere, attentive service, excellent tea and, of course, the DUMPLINGS — like oh my god, the dumplings are to die for. Can’t wait to come again!

The Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection by Hilton is a stylish 4-star hotel located in the heart of Dublin city center, offering chic rooms and suites with some overlooking the River Liffey. The hotel features a gym and a grill restaurant for guests to enjoy. Renowned for its contemporary interiors and celebrity clientele, it's situated close to popular attractions such as the Guinness Brewery and Jameson distillery.
This is my second stay at this hotel on the same trip and I’m blown away at how wonderful the front desk staff is. They are more than friendly and efficient, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Upon our first meeting, they handled six of us with varying needs to store luggage, secure tours, provide destination directions and more, and they were gracious, accommodating and proficient. And they even got us all water. Every we time we come and go (and return), they make us feel like we are home. I’ve honestly never experienced such a warm, hospitable and efficient front desk and bellman crew. The Morrison has great people, is in a great location and is an exceptional place to stay! Thank you Valerie and the front desk team for making our stay memorable.

Great stay, staff attentive and friendly. Very spacious and comfortable room, nicely appointed, and some personal touches like a handwritten welcome letter from the hotel manager were appreciated. Fantastic shower! Good central location to the Temple Bar area if you are going for tourism, but tucked away on a quieter street. The rest of Dublin is easily accessible walking or via public transport. Will definitely be back. (Photos pictured are of the King Guest Room).

We enjoyed a Gents afternoon tea for the first time. It was great we could pick our favourite beer option for it. The afternoon tea was very nice and filling for the cost of it. I would just not that, although I'm not very picky with the meat's temperature, it could be a nice touch to do it to the clients preference as my husband prefers burgers and steak a lot less cooked. Nonetheless, he ate all the food and especially enjoyed the sausage. On my side, I am not a huge dessert person, but both were very nice and I enjoyed them a lot. Kind thank you to the two lovely ladies that looked after us - they were very kind, attentive and cheerful.

So glad we chose the Morrison for our Dublin stay. Central but quiet location, clean, modern rooms, very pleasant decor. Plentiful breakfast and hot breakfast-pancakes, Irish breakfast, can be ordered plus rolls, croissants, fruits etc. Also a wonderful restaurant with locally sourced products (see map) and a wide selection. The grass-fed beef is excellent. Only negative-the noise level in the restaurant as it shares the space with the bar. All the staff is attentive and pleasant. The restaurant manager was extraordinary and personable, we talked with him and it turned out he was the hotel Manager, Mr. Rooney, covering for the restaurant manager. Well, kudos to him as he runs a very smooth operation. Don’t think twice about choosing the Morrison.

While I do wish I had a view with the window, the room was otherwise more than acceptable. The location was perfect for visiting temple bar at night, and the staff was exceptional. I forgot the adapter for my power transformer and was so pleased that they had one on hand for a nominal fee. Saved my vacation! Really lovely front desk staff.

The Morrison Hotel’s Quay 14 bar is a real gem along the Liffey. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels both stylish and welcoming. The interiors are modern yet comfortable, with a great balance of buzz and calm. The drinks are excellent – beautifully crafted cocktails with real attention to detail, and a great wine and whiskey selection too. The staff at Quay 14 are outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely professional, creating a level of service that feels personal every time. The presentation of the food and drinks is superb, with a level of finesse that really elevates the experience. The espresso in particular deserves a mention – rich, perfectly balanced, and served with real care. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a casual afternoon coffee, pre-dinner drinks, or a late-night cocktail with friends. The views out onto the river add to the charm, and the whole vibe feels a cut above many city-centre bars. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mix of sophistication and relaxed Irish hospitality.

I guess we found our hotel in Dublin. We loved our stay at the Morrisson! Our room had a side view of the river and the amenities were just right. The hotel is literally next door to the parking, which offers a special rate for hotel guests. Location is not just good, but excellent! Lots of cafes and shops, short walk to all those touristic streets. I thought the rooms were way nicer than the pictures on the website. They have a hydration station by the restrooms downstairs and provide a nice glass bottle daily in the room. To complete my review, I need to praise the staff. They were extremely nice! On the last day, after checking out, we're hanging on the lobby waiting for the parking garage to open (we had an early flight), the manager came by and offered/served us coffee. That was very convenient since everything was closed at 6 am. Well definitely go back for more 😀 Oh, the Morrisson Grill was our place to eat, lol. We found it delicious, so yes lunch and dinner and repeat. The girls were very nice and accommodating, so was the bar when there were no reservation or tables available. Enjoyed both, either by the window or at the bar, they made room for us and the food was delicious!!

Hazel House is a bit of a gem. Hidden in the woods, one wonders how they can stay open and be always so busy. The answer is word of mouth and the quality of what they do. The afternoon tea is glorious. The savory option is made of 3 flavorsome sandwiches. Already enough for a full lunch. And a very very tasty one. The sweet options don't look fancy but are surely very tasty. The scones in particular. Super happy with that experience we went again recently for lunch. They were incredibly busy that day but unfortunately it didn't justify fully that we were left almost half an hour waiting for water to be brought even if our table was possibly the most visible of the entire restaurant. Cutlery was not ready when the food arrived and a few other disruptions with the service made the experience less enjoyable. The meat in both the stew and the Guinness pie was tough. The stew was not particularly tasty. We will definitely go back but stick to the sandwich option.

Castleknock Hotel is an upscale retreat located just outside Dublin, offering a country-chic ambiance and luxurious amenities. Nestled amidst picturesque grounds near Phoenix Park, it provides easy access to the scenic Strawberry Beds and the River Liffey. The hotel features an 18-hole golf course, modern decor, and a variety of dining options including gourmet cuisine and an Art Deco bar. Guests can also indulge in spa treatments or enjoy afternoon tea on the stunning grounds.
Castleknock Hotel is a fantastic, from start to finish. The facilities throughout the hotel are excellent — modern, spacious, and very well designed. The spa is a standout feature, offering a cold plunge pool, sauna, steam room, and a good-sized swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day on the golf course. The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with plenty going on. It never felt crowded, just lively and well-run. Andrew Sherlock, the manager, was incredibly friendly and professional — his attention to detail and commitment to great service really made a difference. The only small drawback was that the cleanliness of the pool area wasn’t quite up to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. That said, it's a minor issue and likely an easy fix. Everything else, from the service to the food, was top-notch. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Castleknock with our baby boy. The staff were excellent, hotel room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to help our needs. Good pool, lovely bar and restaurant and a fabulous breakfast spread. The only downside was that there was only two electric car chargers, that weren’t available due to usage, which meant I had to set an alarm over night to keep checking for availability. We would recommend visiting. We have already booked our next visit.

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay for our friends wedding. Despite the hotel not wanting to give us the special rate offered to wedding guests. We booked 6 months in advance after contacting the hotel about the special rate for wedding guests. We were told we had to book online and pay the full rate. We paid 440 vs the 400 promised rate for 2 nights. I contacted the hotel before our trip to explain and was told it was my fault we did not contact the hotel... There was never any apology from the hotel for the prebooking mistake however, I did manage to get an upgrade to the deluxe room and a 40 credit to use in the bar. Overall my wife and I are really disappointed with the booking staff and reception staff. At checkout we were told we did not use all of the 40 credit and the hotel did not have to refund us. Again no apology and the woman was rude stating we were fortunate she refunded 16 back to our card. I did check the room rates one week before and saw the Deluxe room was 433 for 2 nights but we paid 440 for the standard room paid 6 months in advance, so the booking system is clearly flawed and staff are careless towards wedding guests. I also asked if there was a service to iron press a shirt and jacket and was told no. The iron in the room was not good so make sure you have easy iron clothes.

Well conected with buses to Blanchardstown shoppig center 10 minutes away and with Luas to the city. Very big parking aeria. I was pleasentlly supprised.💚 Thank you.

Nice 4 star hotel.with spa and gold course. The location is outside of Dublin and good 15 minutes on small local roads So if you want seclusion and privacy, great, if you want to be in the center, not the place to be. Staff is friendly, two in hotel restaurants with selection for dishes and room service. I did not try the spa.

Staff were exceptionally charming and always willing to help. Very comfortable bed. Lovely grounds. Easy to reach by public transport if you are travelling light. Nice spa and facilities. Excellent food at Earth and Vine.

The InterContinental Dublin, an IHG Hotel, is a luxurious and elegant hotel located in the upscale neighborhood of Ballsbridge. The hotel offers beautifully designed rooms and suites with traditional furnishings. Guests can enjoy refined dining options, a sleek spa, and a whiskey bar on the premises. The highlight of the hotel is its garden terrace, perfect for alfresco dining under Mediterranean-style archways or enjoying a glass of champagne in the sunshine.
This is a belated review, we stayed here in May for an event. One of the best hotel experiences that I’ve had to date. Excellent service, a great room, and an overall top hotel experience. One of the highlights was breakfast, with a great selection of food and staff who were on the ball and running service the way it needs to be run. They anticipated our every want and then some! Would highly recommend!.

Truly disappointed at the noise level just below my room! As a flight attendant, I have to be up early in the morning and the partiers kept me awake until well after 3am...Not okay!! Truly disappointed with the hotels ability to control the noise of other customers 🤣

I recently attended an event at the Intercontinental and it was flawless. The food was second to none and the service was attentive and friendly. The set up of the room was gorgeous. If you are lucky enough to have an event at the Intercontinental it'll be an evening to remember

Wow—what a great hotel! We came to Ireland for the first time, and Dublin was our first stop. During our two and a half days at the InterContinental, the staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the bed was the most comfortable one we slept in during our entire two-week trip. The sheets were incredibly soft, and every detail felt thoughtful. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at the hotel restaurant—everything was excellent. Although the hotel is outside the city center, getting around was quick and easy with taxis. We liked our stay so much that when we returned to Dublin before flying home, we chose to stay here again for another couple of nights. If I had to mention one minor thing, it would be the shower heads, but that’s truly the only small detail in what was otherwise a perfect stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin!
B M — Google review
The hotel staff were consistently friendly, and we really liked the interior design. The breakfast was tasty and offered something for everyone. We were surprised to find that there was no toilet brush. Unfortunately, the spa area was quite small, and we weren’t able to relax there as children were playing loudly throughout the day.

Check-in was a breeze. Staff and concierge were polite and helpful. The room was immaculate, and I took a hot shower to relax after the long flight over. We struck out for a morning walk on the beautiful tree lined streets. The area is beautiful and charming, close to shops and dining. Of course, you can always grab a bite downstairs if you dont feel like venturing out. Perfect hotel in a perfect location. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Dublin.
Eddie B — Google review
This hotel do not deserve 5*. Very noisy and not private at all, we can hear the rooms next to us and the corridor. Breakfast is the same as a 3-4* hotel (no fresh juice, very limited choice, defrosted pastries, bad quality omelettes, a la carte options not included). Rooms are not clean (crusty bathrobes, a lot of dust, poor quality housekeeping). It’s far from city center. Expensive for nothing,
S B — Google review
A lovely hotel but, for a 5-star hotel, it’s beginning to show its age. The decor is outdated and the place is on the cusp of tatty. The staff were all charming, friendly and enthusiastic but could do with a little more training to be truly five-star. Food was mediocre.

The Parnell Heritage Pub & Grill is a three-story establishment located just off O'Connell Street in Dublin, offering a unique Irish experience with live traditional music and a warm welcome. It boasts the only rooftop terrace on Parnell Street, providing an opportunity for guests to enjoy drinks under the stars. The pub is known for its stylish and opulent ambiance while still exuding old Irish charm.
It was close to our hotel so we popped in for dinner. I had the (I think it was called) Hake, my husband had the Irish stew. His stew was a thin broth and not thicker like American stews, but that may just be Irish cuisine. He still enjoyed it and I loved the fish and mushy peas! The only thing I would say is that I thought it was quite expensive for what we got. 2 meals, 1 coke, 2 beers, an Irish coffee and I think we came in at around €80 with tip. Pricey, even for Dublin. Service was lovely though!
Maria B — Google review
A recommendation from a friend of mine. Came here mainly for lunch and got placed in a nice and comfortable spot. The location looks nice with giant lamps and a mosaic ground. The staff was fast and friendly. Wonderful Irish Stew, this was really good. 👍 Also two pints of Guinness, also good. They have a rooftop area but it was not the best time or weather to get there. That’s it.
R. F — Google review
My wife and I actually had dinner here two nights in a row, the food we saw other diners eating prompted us to return for another night. The Irish Stew was very well done, so we're the bangers and mash. The latter had a great onion reduction sauce.

We had lunch here and it was a lovely pub experience for our last lunch in Ireland! It was relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and experience. We’d definitely eat here again.

The best Irish Stew of all time! Flavorful from the herbs and not gamey, with the most tender lamb.

Great pub, as pubs should be! The drinks are good, staff is friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Gave us a great time.
Michael B — Google review
We stopped into this pub, for a drink, at the end of our first day/afternoon in Ireland (walking around Dublin) and it was here that I was presented with the BEST Irish coffee that I enjoyed over our entire holiday in Ireland. Louie was our bartender. His service was beyond excellent, which included making us feel so completely welcomed and at home. He gave me a lesson on what a proper Irish coffee is, and I might have experienced one (but only one) close to his level of excellence, but certainly not at his level of excellence. And believe me, I tried one in pretty near ever Irish pub we stopped into for an afternoon refreshment over the entire duration of our 3 weeks in Ireland - my quest was a devoted one indeed. A huge thank you to Louie for his precise, insistent, and most memorable lesson on Irish coffee and for making the best one I have ever tasted. Please also send a message to him - we are the couple that moved on next to a 2-week stay in Tralee. Please let him know that 2 weeks in Tralee was not enough time, we enjoyed every minute of being there!

Restaurant
The Port House, located on South William St in Dublin, offers a cosy and intimate setting for enjoying Basque-style pintxos and tapas accompanied by a selection of Spanish wines, ports, and sherries. The restaurant's unique dining area features stone walls and candlelit ambiance, creating a wine cellar atmosphere. Guests can also opt to dine outdoors under heated lamps. Despite its unassuming vibe and reasonable prices, The Port House is considered one of the most romantic restaurants in Dublin.
Stunning! We stumbled across this Tapas Restaurant accidentally, and our impromptu visit was welcomed (I think we were lucky, you may be safer booking as it was busy) Love the decor and atmosphere. Fabulously authentic Menu, beautiful wines. Look forward to a return visit.

Nice place for little bites to share. Loved the patatas bravas, prawns pill pill, mini bruschettas, fried scampi. A bit disappointed on the dessert side but that didn't ruin our dinner Happy atmosphere around
Monika K — Google review
Having seen the high reviews for The Port House, I was initially excited to try this place out. It also helps that I'm a big fan of tapas! First, I think the venue looks great! It may seem a little dark for some, but for me I think it adds to a great atmosphere. That's a positive, as were the staff throughout our evening. No issues there! I did find, however, that some tables are placed very, very close together. From ordering the tapas, it took fewer than 9 minutes to receive all five dishes we ordered. Quite fast, I thought! But then again, that's typically how fast tapas come out when dining in Spain. The tapas were good, but I just thought they were a little bit meh! Certainly not the best tapas I've had in Dublin, but neither were they the worst. I expected more. The croquettes were nice - very small though, and just a little boring. Frozen, store bought perhaps? Calamari is calamari - it's a copy & paste dish you find everywhere else. The beef cheek wasn't as tender as it should be, and it was a little dry! Almost as if it were left to dry out for a day or two. Mash was okay - a little boring, lacked seasoning! The patatas bravas were tasty though. Quite a nice sauce, but that was probably store bought too! The chickpea and chorizo tapa was a bit flat. Yes, it was "good", but it almost felt like cheap party food or something knocked up for a cheap hotel buffet rather than top-quality restaurant tapas and ingredients. You wouldn't complain but neither are you wowed either. I don't think "okay" is good enough when dining out. You expect more, and if I were a Spaniard, I'd be even more disappointed (and judging from other reviews, that certainly appears to be the case). Would I come back? Maybe, as it was good service in a nice venue and the food came out quick and it was okay. But it's not among the best tapas in the city in my opinion and for that, I think it's a shame.
Luke P — Google review
Stopped by Port House with friend for a quick drink and ended up staying for a full port tasting and so glad we did. Adi, our host, was amazing with recommendations. We tried four different aged ports and ordered four small dishes, all of which were delicious. We originally planned for just one glass but the service and vibe completely won us over. Loved the atmosphere, we sat outside but the inside looked great too. Not too bad spot for a date also. I’ll definitely be back.

The cute place for a date or a girls night out. When we were there 90% or the tables were busy - so I suggest booking. They offer tapas and wine : u can do bottle or per glass. Prices are rather reasonable. The best thing is the staff - very helpful and fun! Would be back

Located in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, Castle Tea Rooms offers a delightful High Tea experience with its charming ambiance that combines vintage decor and modern comfort. The cafe provides reasonably priced breakfast options and a variety of pastries. While some visitors enjoyed the good vibes and quality products, others found the decor to be a bit mismatched. Despite this, many patrons appreciated the tranquil atmosphere just off the bustling streets of Dublin and expressed intentions to revisit for more delicious treats.
A lovely cafe with delicious breakfasts, super friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The view of the church is absolutely beautiful a perfect spot to start your day.

It looked like a very nice place from the outside, but the outside and inside are very different from each other. It's like they're two different places. The interior design was weak and the floors were quite dirty. The service was very slow. Considering the price, the portions were small and sloppy. I don't think I'll go again.

Castle Tea Rooms is a lovely place to take a break and enjoy some good food and drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, fitting perfectly with the historic surroundings. The food was very greasy. I ordered fried eggs with toast, but the eggs were actually deep fried instead of in a frying pan. Other than that service was quick!

Don't think it's a tea room, it's not. Its a sandwich shop, food was good, nothing special. If you have to go to the restroom get the key before you get to the bottom of the stairs. Nestled in the heart of Dublin City Centre, the Fleet Street Restaurant & Bar at the Morgan Hotel is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With an enticing all-day menu featuring everything from hearty brunches to delectable dinners, there's something for everyone. Indulge in traditional Irish fare like seafood chowder paired with homemade soda bread or explore globally-inspired dishes such as sweet potato and lentil dahl.
I've celebrated my 30th birthday. I've booked the venue through tagvenue website. The restaurant responded me promptly and clarified all my questions. The choice was for their BBQ menu which caters for vegetarians, so it was my preferred option. On the day, everything was well organised, they were flexible and all staff friendly. My big kudos go to their team of bartenders. They have some different cocktails, including option to ask bartender to create a cocktail for you. All cocktails were really beautifully decorated with well balanced flavours. We ended up staying longer, post party wrap up. Staying in the restaurant to watch the Euro Finals. So pleasant the place was. I'd totally book it again for a party with outdoor and indoor space & will certainly be back before that for drinks again!

Looks good right? WRONG! Great presentation, but this is the worst food that we had while in Dublin. We were so looking forward to just a nice evening at our hotel. Orange purée under steamed veggies!!! Horrible just horrible. Did someone make a mistake? The fish was terrible. The medium rare steak was almost burnt. The shrimp you see were sitting on top of shrimp heads. This is all the shrimp you get. Haha Don’t even get me started on the chowder! Gross! Maybe they had a bad night, but it was literally at our expense! Would not recommend this place! The food was so bad we didn’t even bother with the free breakfast the next morning!

Service was excellent! Food was good! Great cocktail! The shrimp was tasty and so was the cauliflower soup. The halibut was well-cooked, but all of the veggies were over cooked which made me sad. But overall great ambiance and would go again!

The host couldn't quite figure out that we had a reservation, then sat us in probably the worst seat in the resteraunt. We were then handed off to a great waitress and headed to to a quiet corner.... ok, so far so good. Had a regular margarita (a little too sweet) and a spicy margarita (very good). The drinks were fancy looking. Prawns as an app were so good - sauce was amazing. Fillet for dinner was the best so far in my short travels here. I would have done without the beets in the middle. Vegan chocolate brownie for a snack was good. The waitress was very friendly and joked a little with us. A solid 5!!

We had a nice evening having dinner at this restaurant. We went with a Smartbox and we received the same menu than regular customers, that's a plus. Food was really good. Specially the main course. My roast beef was exquisit. The service was a bit slow and sloppy but not too bad. The desserts were really good as well. I would recommend paying a visit if you receive a Smartbox for this price.

What a brilliant experience! We went here last Sunday for my daughter's birthday, and were so well looked after by Keith and Corinne. They made the experience so special, and really spoiled her. We were also an awkward order with dairy-free and gluten-free orders, but they were careful and cautious on checking if everything would be okay. I would 100% recommend this place (and especially if you have allergies/dietary intolerances), and I will 100% return. Thank you Keith and Corinne!

We really liked the place as it combined coziness with joyful vibes. It wasn't that crowded and the staff was so kind and helpful. I must say that the food was unexpectedly good. The soup was delicious, but it wasn't served with bread as it was expected.. but I need to say that the sandwich was very good. We would certainly revisit the place

This place does the freshest, cleanest, most excellent double espresso in Dublin (depending on who's behind the counter). The food is also incredible. I would recommend the post workout pancakes with added dark chocolate if you want something sweet. If you want something healthier, then I'd go for the avocado toast and I'd order some grilled chicken on the side. The service is second to none. The waiters and waitresses are quite friendly, and don't mind introducing themselves. Corinne and Pedro are especially lovely. One warning: weekends here are packed wall to wall. Plan to wait if you want a seat.

We had Brunch with friends here, and we completely recommend it! Simply fantastic. We were treated with warmth and respect from start to finish. The staff at every part of the hotel is professional, courteous, and smartly dressed. The answer was always "of course, no problem". We had a corner room with great views of the quay and more appointments than we've encountered in any other luxury lodging. They left us with a nice welcome letter along with bottles of water, a small fruit basket, and some exquisite chocolates. What a class act. The Marker Bar and the morning breakfast both had delicious food and wonderful service as well. The Marker is now our home away whenever we return to Dublin.

Nice rooms, some with a view. Nice touches - cookies with your coffee and daily fresh water. We tried to get a drink at the roof top bar- not possible- the entire experience felt forbidden - scrutiny on the way up like you a trying to rob the place. Most hotels allow just a simple elevator ride up and if space is available you can just sit and order a drink. I like the fact that spa facilities are included in your stay. Overall 4.5 out of 5.

From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The level of service here is unmatched every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay exceptional. Check-in was seamless and welcoming, with thoughtful touches that immediately set the tone for luxury. My room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning attention to detail throughout. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel’s amenities exceeded every expectations. Dining here was a highlight: every meal was crafted with care, bursting with flavour, and presented with elegance. Breakfast especially was phenomenal, offering a wide variety of fresh and even dishes that could be made to order The hotel is simply outstanding. Lastly I would like to point out and extend my gratitude to the following individuals, Tugce, Maxim, Kamron, Made and especially Sid. They made my stay in the hotel even though it was just for one night an amazing night.

We have been to 5 star hotels before, but Anantara The Marker Dublin was a whole new luxury experience. Although we arrived earlier than check in time, Mr. Brennan, went out of his way to accommodate us as soon as possible and we really appreciate his kind and professional attitude. We loved everything about this hotel, the super nice and friendly staff, cleanliness of the room, hallways, dining room, pool and spa area, you name it. Our junior suite was spacious and luxurious. Anything that is needed for a comfortable stay, was available in the room. We used steam room, pool and jacuzzi and absolutely loved it. There were wide variety of food in breakfast buffet and yet we could also order anything that we desired from the menu. This hotel is perfect for those seeking a high-end getaway, offering luxurious accommodations and outstanding service.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Marker! After we got delayed and missed a whole day of our trip, the hotel could not have been more accommodating and nice when we got there. They made sure we got into breakfast before they closed and took our bags up to our room while we waited. The rooms were a good size with plenty of space for us and our baby in her crib. The only area that was tight was the bathroom, but it was still bigger than a majority of European bathrooms! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin!

Wow, this place is amazing, you will not find a better room anywhere in Dublin than here. The staff, delightful. The location, shockingly beautiful. The facilities 😍 my one gripe is the weird little alarm box thing that went off at 6am for no reason. If any Anantara people see this please tell me the purpose of the weird little box. Also, as you can see these pictures are „muy bonita” thanks to my girlfriend for them ☺️

Located about 15 minutes from the airport, this is ideal after a long flight. Check in was less than 2 minutes, and then we were on the elevator. The king room we received was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. Bathroom was clean, had enough towels, and open concept. The only drawback is the limited parking, we had at midnight. This place has restaurant and bar.

Located in a busy but nice area in Drumcondra, with lots of food options around. Rooms are decent, but aging. Beds are pretty firm, too firm for my taste but YMMV. Stayed in room 123 and 223, the wifi in these rooms is shockingly poor. This is not acceptable in 2025. Overall, the location is good, the hotel is just fine. Customer service is generally good, if a bit confused at times.

Hotel is fine but not if you're in room 120 ! Very noisy fan from the kitchen below has walls of our room vibrating Reception say it stops at 9.30 pm tonight but starts again at 6.30am in the morning ! No alternative room available. It's irritatingly noisy. The other rooms on the same corridor on this floor must be experiencing the same noise, and we expect the same for a few floors above us. What a pity

Lovely hotel in a great location. Had the duck which was sublime. The full breakfast in the morning was amongst the best I've had. Staff were very personable.

Excellent service and attentive staff. Always asking if there is anything can do to assist. Ideal location for exploring the city. Only knock is the size of the rooms. Smallest I’ve stayed in. Well maintained, just know this ahead of time if you need space.

The Radisson Blu St. Helen's Hotel in Dublin is a luxurious retreat set in a former 16th-century mansion, offering elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi, an Italian restaurant, and a spa. Nestled in the coastal suburb of Blackrock, it provides a picturesque setting for relaxation and indulgence. Guests can savor delightful afternoon tea at the Orangerie Bar and Ballroom Lounge, featuring a delectable selection of sweets and finger sandwiches.
Hotel is beautiful. Staff was always very helpful and easy to access. The rooms very cleaned and made up daily. Also is located very close to transportion into Center City. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Ireland again.

I stayed last week with my wife and two children. The hotel is fine. It's obviously dated, some of which you expect as the original building is a magnificent old structure. The newer part of the hotel is also dated. I have no issue with an older fit and finish once it's maintained. The garden was lovely. Well done to the groundskeepers for an excellent job all-round. The room was a little too warm but Ireland is safe enough to crack open a ground floor window so that's what we did. The fridge was not turned on which I didn't mind much, but this is obviously a problem for many. The breakfast was excellent and the staff at the buffet were all lovely and accommodating to us. One gripe I have is that water is only provided on check in day. That is not five star service and of course leaves a terrible taste in the mouth of a guest who, when staying multiple nights has many opportunities to exercise their opportunity to near-unlimited beverages at the breakfast buffet. This kind of policy indicates that the people in charge of this hotel are more interested in penny-pinching than customer satisfaction to a level that makes no rational sense. Giving complimentary water only on one day of your stay punishes guests that book more than one night. The perk is long forgotten by those that spend a week or more with you. The thirst remains. Once we noticed there was no water replenished in our room on day two of our stay, we rang reception, to be told that it is only gratis on check-in day. We purchased some water and had it delivered to the room. No reduction in room service charge was applied. Do your management really think that they have somehow saved money by removing this small perk? It feels misguided in the extreme. Do not offer free check-in water if you are not factoring in the cost in the night rate and providing every morning.

Our first visit to Ireland included 7 nights here. The hotel itself is beautiful, with the “old world” feel that is completely modernly maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. We stayed in a “family room” which included 2 queen beds. It was comparable in size to our US hotel rooms with plenty of storage & space for our week-long stay. We used the breakfast rate, which I highly recommend. The breakfast buffet is excellent with so many options. Two drawbacks are the lack of a pool/hot tub and the distance to city center. We were adjacent to a university study abroad trip, so staying next to UCD was perfect for us. The bus stop is at the hotel pedestrian gate & a bus trip is under €2, so it’s easy to get to city center. We did not have time to miss a pool. Would absolutely stay here again, especially for a family visit.

We stayed at Radisson St Helen’s Dublin for 4 nights in October 2025. Beautiful room on fourth floor, with a balcony, cleaned daily with water, teas/coffees, biscuits, towels, toiletries - all topped up daily. Generous breakfast, immaculate service across the hotel, from reception to restaurants to room service. Super comfortable bed, cleaned daily sheets with daily changes or at least it felt like that. Good, free parking and a very easy commute into Dublin City Centre. Will stay here again without hesitation! Thank you Michelle, Lucas and all the staff!

We had the afters of a funeral at this wonderful Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by David who looked after our every need from the minute we walked through the door. All the staff were so professional, with any ask no issue. The room, food and overall experience was amazing, and a wonderful send off for our loved one. Thanks again to all the team at At. Helens.

Stayed for three weeks before. But I'd like to share what happened at graduation, the lady dark haired foreign glasses and one blonde man raised his voice both very r.a.c.i.s.t. don't know how to speak to hotel guests. Asked to change rooms she came by while I was in a towel after a shower to take me to the new room watched me the entire time. I asked if I could get dressed, she waited the entire time outside the room watched me get my things. Also blonde man has been r.a.c.i.st. every time as well unnecessarily cruel man! What a way to treat at grad, thanks for welcoming my family so nicely you awful people When I go back and I see both of them identify them, I will contact marriott and make sure they are either gone from this job or severely disciplined, ucd medical grad btw flew in from USA. I was too busy that weekend but the way you treated i will make sure YOU never forget it.

This was a very disappointing stay after previously having stayed at this property a year ago. While it wasn't a 5-star then, the property was in better condition and the service was considerably better. All of the rooms and fitness center need major updates while most of the shared areas are reasonably well-kept. In our room, the mini fridge wasn't working and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. We also found fingernails from a previous tenant still in our room. Our sink wasn't draining and our toilet wasn't flushing. Despite multiple requests to get these fixed (we also had to remind them to send someone multiple times). When I made requests to change rooms, suddenly the people working there forgot how to speak English. Generally, service was very poor - it seemed like everyone was new and needs a lot more training. The breakfast was incredible but does not compensate for all of the other shortfalls. I believe this is my first negative review of a hotel and I typically record 70-100 nights per year in hotels (almost always Marriot properties)

not remotely close to being a 5 star hotel the building itself is nice, service is good but very slow but the rooms were shocking and nowhere near a 5 stat standard. old dated rooms, horrible bathroom (tiny, small, damaged and a shower bath with old piping) front door latch repaired with glue. location also far from city you need a car to stay here. breakfast selection is poor and limited.

Nestled in the picturesque South Dublin Coast, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel is a charming 18th-century castle offering elegant rooms with stunning bay views, upscale dining options, and a luxurious spa. This family-owned hotel has been providing genuine service to guests since its establishment in 1971. Situated near Killiney Beach and overlooking Dublin Bay, it's a popular choice for couples, families, and wedding celebrations.
We vacationed in Ireland traveled the whole country and this hotel was by far the best we stayed in. The staff was amazing they remembered me mentioning my daughter's birthday and brought her up a happy birthday cookie platter. The pool, bars and restaurants were great the food was amazing I highly recommend this place! Btw to the people saying the place is dated it's an old castle I wouldn't want it looking like every other hotel it's modern but still has class and history it's a 200 year old castle so stop with the dated it's well taken care of and has more charm than any hotel I stayed in that includes the ones in my own country.

Beautiful castle hotel. Still keeping a lot of authentity and castle spirit. Friendly and helpful staff at reception, restaurant, bar and spa. Very big rooms, comfortable beds, extras in the rooms like: iron, ironing board, kettle, coffee machine, bottled water. All necessary essentials in the bathroom were provided. Lovely presented and very delicious food in the Mapas restarant. Live music in the bar. Unlimited use of spa and gym for guests. And most important - lovely breakfast in the morning. It was a weekend to remember.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fitzpatrick Castle. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of Dalkey Village and the ocean. The staff at the Fitzpatrick are amazing! One of our group lost a hat in a taxi and the hotel staff called the taxi company to retrieve it for us, it was waiting in our room for us upon our return. Great food and drink options in the different bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying at Fitzpatrick Castle!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting within an easy commute from Dublin centre. Good pool and fitness centre also Only slight negatives were for such a great location our view was of a brick wall and also the prices were a bit much. We would have spent more time in the hotel however when a Guiness and a wine were nearly 22 euros we decided to eat and drink elsewhere

Returned for a visit to Ireland with family after a gap of 20 years to find "The Fitzer Castle", an old friend, in great shape and as welcoming and comfortable as it has always been. The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin is a vibrant and modern property located in the heart of the city. The hotel is known for its luxurious afternoon tea experience, featuring delectable treats like egg sliders, fruit cake, and bakewell bites. Additionally, it provides unique spaces for hosting luxury company BBQ evenings with tantalizing menus and comfortable lounge seating.
Loved our stay because the rooms were nice, clean, spacious. Bathroom also large and spacious, good water pressure. Bed was comfortable. Good location a short walk to amenities. Grocery/convenience store across the street, bakery/café half a block away, and many restaurants and shops within 15min walk. No need for a car. Friendly staff. Would happily stay here again.

Great location. Lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Room was okay - wallpaper was coming off, our bathroom sink drain did not work, stained carpet. Breakfast was the best part though- lots of selections and quality.

The location was great, what we needed as our flights were cancelled. Service was so good, we had the breakfast in the morning I would recommend. I would think for the cost though that chipping on the roof of the rooms would be painted and scuffs on the walls would he cleaned. The rooms were quiet which was nice for a good sleep after being up so long.

Walking from the train, we happened upon the Radisson Blu. We ate lunch and asked about luggage storage so we could tour Book of Kells at Trinity and St. Patrick's cathedral. Pratima at the front desk was so friendly and professional. She made us feel special with her laser focus on customer service. David happily checked our bags and shared info on Book of Kells. We felt like V.I.P.s. When we came back for dinner, it was dark so he quickly flagged us a taxi and helped us at the curb. We felt pampered by Raphael and Bantita who anticipated our needs and served scrumptious soup and fish.

Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin: Sleek, Central, and Sophisticated 🇻🇦🕊✝️🇸🇪 The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel offers a modern and very central Dublin experience, combining four-star elegance with an unbeatable location right beside Dublin Castle and the historic centre. It's a great choice for visitors who prioritize comfort, cleanliness, and easy access to the city's main attractions. ☘️ The rooms are the definition of contemporary comfort—plush bedding, sophisticated decor, and all the modern amenities you'd expect from the Radisson Blu brand. Guests often highlight the great night's sleep they get here! 😴 The Royal Treatment (What stands out): Location: This is a huge win. You are literally steps away from Dublin Castle and within a five-minute walk of Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and the famous Christ Church Cathedral. It's perfectly situated for sightseeing. 💚 Dining & Bars: The hotel boasts some excellent options, including the Chancery Grill for a proper meal and a stylish bar area that’s perfect for a relaxing nightcap. 🥂 Service & Feel: The staff are consistently noted for being professional, attentive, and helpful, ensuring your stay feels seamless and welcoming. The entire property feels well-maintained and polished. 🫂 A special shout-out to Kevish and Dorian! Your attention to detail is so sharp, you could probably fold a fitted sheet perfectly just by looking at it. Thanks for keeping the 'Royal' in the Radisson Blu Royal! 👑 While it might lack the 'olde worlde' pub charm of some smaller Dublin hotels, it more than makes up for it with its reliable quality and prime positioning. If you're looking for a polished, highly comfortable, and perfectly placed base for your Dublin adventure, look no further. 🙏🏻🕯 5/5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

I feel sad having to write this review having previously enjoyed our stay here many times over the years but it really feels like standards have slipped. My wife and I stayed here for a single night for our anniversary. We were a bit shocked and upset to find a large 12' X 12' stain on the carpet by the side of the bed and that our overhead shower did not work! The man on reception seemed mildly interested but did not offer any concession etc. Hard to recommend in 2025 sadly.

Our stay was wonderful and a perfect way to unwind after a long international flight. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well appointed with toiletries and washclothes (not all EU hotels have faceclothes). I traveled with my elderly mother in a mobility scooter and the hotel and normal twin room were easily accessible with room to store the scooter. Bonus points! - Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold items, traditional Irish breakfast, continental pastries, and loads of healthy options. DIY coffee machine. - Thermal Spa - buy the pass. You'll thank me later. - Underground parking available All additional items (parking, spa and breakfast) were priced fairly.

The College Green Hotel Dublin, Autograph Collection offers chic and modern rooms in a grand setting with a sleek restaurant, meeting space, and an atrium lounge. The hotel's afternoon tea at the Atrium Lounge features classic sandwiches, nibbles, and signature cocktails with a Dublin-themed menu. Located on Westmoreland Street, the magnificent five-storey high glass atrium provides natural daylight for a stunning setting. On weekends, guests can enjoy live piano music while unwinding.
We had an excellent stay! Our check in experience alone was 5 stars. Alan at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. He worked with us to check in early and they had a wealth of suggestions. Their breakfast suggestion, Bread 41, was an unexpected highlight of our visit. Our room was very nice. Spacious and a great view of Trinity College right outside our window. Despite the great city view, our room was quiet, which we appreciated a lot. The bathroom was spacious and had large pump toiletries, plus plenty of towels and an array of amenity kits. Tooth brush, comb, etc. Nice if you forgot anything. The on site restaurants were very nice to have. We got a relaxing lunch at the lobby lounge and a laid back dinner at the mint bar. Nice options to have when you’re tired and don’t want to make plans just to snag a meal. And of course, the hotel’s location is excellent. Easy access to the Dublin Express, tons of public transit options, easy walking nearly everywhere, easy cabs from the looks of it (we didn’t end up needing one). The college green is an excellent hotel, certainly a 5 star establishment.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 days. We enjoyed our stay very very much. First off the location is very ideal, right in the city centre, infront of public transport, surrounded by places to see and restaurants. We had a breakfast in the Morelands restaurant, which was fantastic. The service was great, friendly and warm, the food was good and the restaurant was so neat. We had dinner in the city centre first night and then at The Mint bar, once again, a true 5star experience, friendly, warm staff and great food. Overall I can say that College Green will definitely see us again on our next trip.

Coming from the US our first time in Dublin, we stayed 4 nights. First must say staff is exceptional. Room very nice but difficult to manage our suitcases with layout and the suitcase rack had a back bar on it that allowed only smaller cases. Ample closet and bathroom. Room a bit musty upon first entrance daily but we aired out and it was fine. Bed super comfortable. Room facing offices but was so quiet we didnt mind. Appreciate the nespresso in room. Lots of goodies available in the room for a charge. But nice to have it right there. Also gives a bit of a festive vibe. The Christmas decor went up during our stay and looks gorgeous. Food in the Atrium was great!

Had such a cool experience at the College Green, perfectly set in Dublin city centre and a great location to explore the city. Breakfast was out of this world delicious, with high quality, fresh ingredients. We were very well looked after by all the staff, from reception to the grill to the atrium. Would definitely recommend.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night, and boy do I wish it was longer. The rooms and decor were well appointed and attractive, the bed was super comfortable, and the cleanliness was top notch. The best part, however, was the staff. The front desk and concierge staff recommended me the a place to eat, which turned out to be my best meal in Dublin. I would 100 percent stay here again.

Mint bar, beautiful bar with sports on various tv's. Shocking service. Tried to order from barman and he said he'd send someone over to us. Ordered 4 drinks and waited 25 minutes for them to arrive. 1 bottle of beer and 3 spirits and mixers so nothing complicated. Noticed other customers that ordered after us were served quicker. Don't sell smirnoff vodka and the ginger I got as my mixer had no flavour. Prices are dear for what you get. I won't be rushing back.

Our stay was marred by the hotels handling of a couple of situations. First, the air conditioning they say they have does not exist / work. Their staff was in our room and said it wasn’t working and would get to it right away. They sent an engineer who did nothing and said it was working fine. Nothing was even blowing. They finally provided two fans, one for each room in our suite, neither of which worked well. We asked for a fan for the second room we had end they said sure but never delivered it. On our last day we picked up our car for the rest of our Irish journey and valeted our car for a total of 15 hours. In that time they did what we found from Sixt to be roughly $3000 worth of damage. The valet team admitted this and said they would pay for any charges. The charges were roughly €622 for which the hotel then not only still charged me for valeting the car but also offered 30,000 points as “goodwill gesture”. I offered that instead of paying the 622 they’d said they’d cover that they could provide points equal to that and they refused. The leadership of this hotel had a perfect opportunity to take a bad action on their part and make good on it and decided that they’d prefer to be dishonest and dismissive. Can’t imagine suggesting anyone staying here and having an issue of any sort and getting it resolved so hope you look elsewhere.

I really enjoyed the Tea Rooms just outside Dublin Zoo. At first, I didn’t expect many savoury options, but I was pleasantly surprised—they had tasty wraps and focaccia that were fresh and satisfying. It’s a great spot to grab a bite after walking around the zoo, especially if you’re looking for something quick yet good quality. Definitely worth stopping by.

lovely little spot for lunch when on a walk in the park! we ordered a cheese toastie ( i forgot to take a picture) and the soup with Guinness bread. the food was super tasty and compared other places in dublin i think reasonably priced! cheese toastie could’ve just done with toasting a bit longer but other than it was great 😊

Cute spot and quick service. We enjoyed our drinks and light snacks during our walk of the park. I would say the service was the lower point of it, they seemed burnt out and/or tired of customers because it was overall unfriendly and disinterested. The reviews for the service seem really good, so we might have just caught them on a weird day.

The place is tiny, but that makes it cute and atmospheric. The staff was friendly, the sandwiches we got were huge and with an extra salad on the side, so it was almost a perfect experience. Unfortunately the inside was sooo cold, so you can't really relax there and you just want to finish your drink and go. Still, it was very nice and on a warmer day I'd be back in a heartbeat.

We used to come here for years with our kids and we all looked forward to it each time. Food was always so nice…we would go for our favourite sourdough ham and cheese toasties, which were always served on gorgeous plates with coleslaw, baby potatoes, bit of pasta salad on the side and banana bread with coffees. Today was such a disappointment. The menu was very limited comparing to what it used to be. We have paid over 40€ for 3 cheese toasties and two coffees, which is a bit outrageous. There was no one to bring the food out, you were given a beeper and had to go back up to collect it. We were handed out food in take away boxes…cheese toasties had more melted cheese slapped on top of the sandwich than inside the actual sandwich, which was not even sourdough bread. There was a tiny bit of coleslaw on the side. We were actually flabbergasted to be charged this amount of money for such a substandard food. It was also quite disgusting as the table and benches are covered up in bird poo, I’m pretty sure that poses a health hazard ?! People sitting next to us brought their own store bought sandwiches and only bought coffee. Something doesn’t really add up here. Completely different experience to what it used to be, very disappointing and probably won’t come back.

Conrad Dublin is a sophisticated hotel located across from the National Concert Hall and close to beautiful parks. Following its 2017 renovation, the hotel boasts an impressive lobby with branch-like light fixtures and rooms featuring a color scheme inspired by the nearby Iveagh Gardens. Guests can enjoy traditional tea, cocktail afternoon tea, or Champagne afternoon tea at the hotel's restaurant. The five-star hotel offers excellent facilities and a central location, making it a top destination in Dublin.
*Fantastic Restaurant and Bar, Amazing and Friendly Staff* Conrad Dublin exceeded my expectations in every way. The highlight of my stay was definitely the restaurant and bar. The breakfast buffet was exceptional — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. Dinner was equally impressive, with creative dishes that blended local flavors and international influences. The bar had a warm, inviting atmosphere and an excellent selection of wines, cocktails, and local beers. I especially enjoyed chatting with the bartender, who was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly. Speaking of friendliness, the entire staff was outstanding. From housekeeping to the concierge, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, always greeting guests with a smile and going the extra mile. It felt like they truly cared about making each guest’s experience special. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The hotel’s central location also made it easy to explore Dublin’s attractions without hassle. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, Conrad Dublin is a top choice.

Might be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything feels premium here - rooms, service at breakfast, restaurant and bar, attentiveness from housekeeping and the way they treat guests at reception! we got upgraded to King Deluxe room with a view, cleanliness is exceptional, they provide turndown service as well- a lovely lady Natalia M. was professional and attentive. The restaurant service is great too - they remember your name and are there for you at the slightest bit of inconvenience or curiosity. Thanks to Diego, Pedro, Gio and Erika for taking care of us and serving their wonderful food. Thanks and all the best!

All in all a nice stay. Lobby and restaurants were beautiful. Bar menu very limited, as was room service after 10pm. Room was nice, spacious for Dublin City. Some outlets were broken and the tv was quite old for the price of the room with no Chromecast or apps. Overnight staff left a bit to be desired. A bit cheaper than other 5 stars in city center, pretty good value, in a great location just off Stephen’s Green.

Our stay at the Conrad Dublin was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! The staff were truly the highlight. Every single person we met was kind, warm, and went above and beyond to make our visit special. We were especially grateful to Eliza, Milena, and Nikoleta for their wonderful assistance in arranging hair and shopping appointments; their attention to detail made everything seamless. When we arrived, we were delighted to find mini pastries and chocolates waiting for us in our suite as it was such a thoughtful touch! The suite itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect balance of elegance and coziness. Dinner at The Coburg was absolutely to die for! From the ambiance to the food, everything was perfection. It’s also so special knowing that this is the oldest operating Conrad in the entire portfolio, and it truly lives up to that legacy of excellence. We can’t wait to return. The Conrad Dublin has definitely become one of our favorite hotels in the world!

What an amazing experience at the Conrad Dublin. I used this beautiful and outstanding hotel as basecamp for my exploration of Dublin and Ireland. Every team member was outstanding and friendly, especially Emily at Reception and Caroline in the Restaurant. And WOW, their breakfast in the morning is nothing short of amazing! Yes, this hotel is not in the MIDDLE of everything, but that was what drew me - a nice, quiet relaxing place to rest after a full day of exploring. I will definitely be back!

We attended an event at the Conrad Hotel and had a great experience overall. The venue was elegant and well-organised, and the finger food served was very good. Staff were polite and professional throughout. The only drawback was the underground parking, spaces are quite tight and limited, so it’s best to arrive early. Otherwise, an excellent venue for events in Dublin.

This was a true five star experience. The service was exceptional starting outside with the valet and continuing through the concierge, front desk, and wait staff. Without a doubt the best hotel stay we’ve ever had. The lack of smart TVs for streaming in the room was the only peculiarity.

Tea house
Tea Garden is a serene and cozy tea house located on Lower Ormond Quay, offering intimate and individually-styled spaces with tatami tables. Open until 11pm, it's a unique spot for a date night or a quiet evening with friends. With over 40 teas to choose from, as well as non-tea drinks and Shisha, there's something for everyone.
I came here with my partner and felt very welcomed and relaxed. The staff were so lovely and explained everything to us. The atmosphere was very calming, cosy and inviting. After a busy day of sight seeing we had a nice pot of tea to rest. Would highly recommend this place if you also need an hour just to slow down a little!!:)

It is a nice non alcoholic place to relax. They have huge seating and also downstairs is good. They also have many board games and different cakes to have something while playing games. Food options are very limited specially for hot food. They should increase their food offerings. Teas 🍵 are good and there are 50+ types of teas one can choose from. I really liked their ambience and also one can buy tea while leaving to prepare at their home. Good place and book this for your meetup or board games 😀

We really enjoyed this place. Lovely relaxing afternoon and bought some tea leaves to take home also. It's definitely worth a visit if you like tea or Shisha. Staff are really helpful & kind. Love to see more places like this in Dublin area.

Overall lovely experience. The staff, especially a young South Asian man was super friendly, accommodating and professional. The ambiance, vibe and food 10/10! Brought my friend here to cheer her up and this place did the magic! Thank you!

I have come to this place thrice till now and the first time I had a great experience but the last two experiences I had, have pushed me to write a negative review. To clear it before I say anything else, the staff are nice and warm- whatever policies they say are the management's doing as the staff don't make those rules. All the things I say here are constructive criticism only. 1. I wish the place had a sign to ask customers politely not to move their tables once assigned and about the €7.5 minimum spend per person. Even in their menus you have to really look for it, it could've been the first page you see when you opened the menu book. 2. The last two times they've been "Cash Only" which can be inconvenient for a lot of people as me and a lot of people I know never carry cash. 3. I've noticed all the food options are mid for the price point but the teas are very good. Sadly they use AI generated images in their menus for the cakes and stuff which is very sad to see as this is very misleading. The cakes look nothing like the images which would've been okay if they weren't such a dear price. Because of these three reasons above I won't be coming back to this place unless they visibly change the above-mentioned points or the management. I wish them all the best.
Aditi S — Google review
It should be criminal for a tea establishment to be run by rude staff. Tea is for calmness and relaxation. The staff are hell-sent. Glaring and scheming and plotting to have their customers leave early. Profiling customers. The rude tone and disrespect. The tea itself is great. The staff are not.
Hayley W — Google review
The tea is amazing and the ambiance is very calming. I’d love to go back if it wasn’t for all the black mould. Currently bedridden with allergies after spending a couple of hours in there, where I started violently sneezing and itching my throat. The mould was quite visible but I unfortunately only noticed as I was about to leave as it was night.

The Davenport Hotel, located at 8 Merrion Street, D02DX57, is a traditional and stylish hotel with a rich history dating back to the 17th century when it was known as Merrion Hall. Originally a prayer house for the Plymouth Brethren Christian movement, the building's neo-classical columns and balustrade make it one of the most striking in the city.
Really enjoyed our stay-- beautiful building and spacious rooms (especially for Europe!). Alvaro at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Would recommend staying there to anyone looking for a place while they're in Dublin!
Heather N — Google review
The Davenport is situated in the heart of all the attractions and very convenient. The room was smaller but had 2 chairs and table that we appreciated. We found the bed to be very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, just not as good as comparable hotels in UK. The biggest issue with the hotel is if you need parking. It’s an elevator system that sometimes works, but often doesn’t work. It was actually a nightmare for my husband both going in and out! And the front desk doesn’t prepare you in any way for how the car park works. Staff are overall friendly but not like other comparable hotels we’ve had during our UK trip for the same cost. Would love a robe added to the room.
Dina R — Google review
A gorgeous hotel. But.....I had breakfast here with my sister and friend and would advise people to avoid adding it on. I was very disappointed. At €25 I would expect good quality. Mediocre at best. Not a big selection, the hot items were cold, and service was slow. Many cafés do a lot better. Like I said, disappointed.
Bernie T — Google review
I wish we stayed in a different hotel. There were a lot better hotels around. For such a "high valued (and priced)" hotel, I was not impressed at all. There was no parking available for us, so we had to pay extra in a car park a block away. The rooms are extremely tiny. The elevator is tiny, to where I didn't have enough room in it with the luggage cart and myself. The cart also just made it into the elevator doors. Every floor you need your key to scan just to select your floor. The rooms are the smallest rooms I have ever seen. Again. I didn't have enough room in the hallways or room door to get the luggage cart to move our luggage. I had to toss my stuff in the door from the hallway while trying to hold the door open since there was barely enough room to even open the door. We had to change rooms because there was strands of hair in the bed and then when we moved the cover we saw stains on the sheets. We were moved to a new room which was even smaller. We were given a complimentary box of chocolates for the trouble which is in each room anyway. The only positive thing was the breakfast buffet. They had a large variety of items and they were delicious. It was also nice that it was close enough to walk to shopping and food. That was it. My husband and I were very uncomfortable and very disappointed. Save yourself the money and hassle and stay somewhere else in Dublin. Othe

I have recently been at the Davenport and the stay was pleasant. Big plus: the staff. The Argentinians at the counter and the Brasilians at the breakfast were all super helpful, kind and proactive. I felt really welcome. Small drawback: my room had very thin wall and I could even hear the neighbouring rooms toggling the light switch. Suggestion: add a hair drier in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, location was also very good.
Ma D — Google review
My wife and I stayed in the Davenport recently and it was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and so friendly (special callout to Irani at reception). The ambience around the hotel was lovely, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was really good and we also enjoyed some lovely drinks in the bar at night. I was up on business and regularly visit Dublin. The Davenport will be my new home away from home. Well done to all, keep up the excellent work and thanks for a lovely stay.
Anthony O — Google review
Right from check in our experience was exceptional. Irani is wonderful at her job and made two jet lagged travelers feel so special and welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great location near St. Stephen's Green. Plus a Dyson hair dryer - bonus! For those staying here two things to note: No shampoo/conditioner/body wash is provided so make sure to pack your own. Parking is available about a 3 minute walk away in a parkade the hotel has a price agreement with (as most major city hotels in Ireland have)

The Grayson is a trendy restaurant and bar located in a historic setting, offering an elegant atrium, afternoon tea, and weekend brunch. The stunning Atrium Bar and adjoining Atrium Terrace with a retractable roof provide a luxurious setting for dining and socializing. Guests can enjoy delectable starters like butternut squash veloute and wild mushroom crostini, as well as main courses such as pan-seared hake or confit heritage carrot.
Great food, top service, and a brilliant location. The burger and Mediterranean Salad with chicken were spot on. It's also a kid-friendly place, and we found the value for money for the kids really good- a good quality burger and three scoops of ice cream is a good deal. We'll definitely be back.
Jens W — Google review
On a special evening myself and a friend came here for a nice meal. We ate in the garden bar area, which was nicely decorated, however I wouldn't recommend if you want to relax, as we were in high stools and a small table, and the atmosphere was very quiet and stiff. The food was good, I had monkfish, my friend had the chicken supreme. We shared a bottle of wine, and this was kept at the bar for the server to refill our glasses, which was nice at first, but got awkward when we would have to wait, and it would have been easier to have it left at the table. We shared a chocolate mousse for dessert which was nice, but had some black cherries which were too strong tasting for us. Overall a good experience with tasty food, but I'd recommend choosing a different seating area for more comfort.

Stopped by here for a quick bite after class and got the rigatoni pasta. Absolutely delicious!!! The bartender and server were very kind and brought out the food and drink promptly. Pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was very tasty. The mirrors on the terrace are gorgeous and the natural light coming through is very nice. Definitely worth going to if you are in the area!!

We had our wedding at The Grayson and it was the best day of our lives! From the moment we first saw the space, we knew it was the perfect venue for us – it’s such a beautiful setting and completely fit our vibe. The food was outstanding (all of our guests commented on how fantastic it was), and we loved being able to include signature cocktails to make the day even more personal. A special mention has to go to Rachael, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Her communication was brilliant, no request was ever too big or small, and she made the whole planning process so enjoyable. On the day itself, she organised everything seamlessly, even giving us a quiet moment together with a drink and some canapés before meeting our guests, which we really appreciated. Rachael is a fantastic wedding planner and a true asset to both The Grayson and the Eclective Group. We couldn’t recommend The Grayson enough for anyone looking for a wedding venue – it was everything we dreamed of and more. 💕 — Chelsey & Nathan

Stunning artwork and decor, but most breathtaking (beyond the menu) is the exterior of the building! The natural growth reminds me of Park Royale Singapore and is a favorite architectural trait of one of my queens 👸 ❤️ Recommend the Miso Glazed Aubugein (sp) salad and a Guinness for lunch! 🥗 Nice office for sale attached to Boston college next door as well. Edit: waited in lobby on second visit, guests arriving after were seated first. Could work on their service. Otherwise wonderful,

We had our wedding reception at The Grayson and it was outstanding from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning; stylish, welcoming, and perfect for a cocktail-style wedding. The food and drinks were exceptional, with so many guests commenting on how impressed they were. A special mention has to go to Rachel, our coordinator, who made the entire experience stress-free. From our very first visit (complete with a welcome glass of bubbles) through tastings, supplier recommendations, décor guidance, and right up to the big day itself, she was always there with thoughtful advice and a calming presence. On the day, Rachel and the team had everything running seamlessly in the background so we could just relax and enjoy. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Dublin that combines elegance, incredible service, and genuine care, The Grayson and Rachel are unbeatable.

Additionally, visitors can unwind in the lovely garden or sip on expertly crafted cocktails at The Parlour Bar.
Beautiful room at the back of the hotel was nice and quiet . The staff were all lovely and friendly and everyone seemed very happy at work. There was some renovation work going on at the front of the building but not noisy or a problem. We booked directly with the hotel and breakfast was included which was relaxing and good quality. Super position on the seafront, nice to have breakfast looking out to the sea. Thankyou for a lovely few days 😊

This is the best hotel & restaurant and cocktail bar in Dun Laoghaire. And one of the best in Dublin. Olivetto is amazing. Just excellent food great kids menu (and reasonable) and the view. Walk on the pier, then into Olivetto for food and drinks with the kids. Just amazing. Staff & service is also top notch. Well done. Safer booking in advance though. Very popular.

I had booked a room several months in advance for 2 nights for the 2025 Ukulele Hooley. Unfortunately, the establishment bumped me in order to facilitate a higher paying guest. Very disappointed. They fabricated a story of delayed work being carried out on all the rooms. Funny that rooms were still available for one of the nights after they bumped me. Corporate greed. They should be ashamed.
Oisín D — Google review
Visited earlier today for a drink in the sun after a walk along the seafront with some friends. While we were waiting to be seated one of our friends ran inside to use the bathroom. We enquired with the doorman about sitting in the garden for our drinks as it was a nice sunny day to which he told us it was closed as it wasn’t warm enough. We asked instead if there was anywhere he’d recommend with a sunny beer garden locally to which he told us to go to ‘Portmarnock’ as they’re ‘the only place in Dun Laoghaire’ that gets sun. We would’ve happy stayed for a few drinks but the rudeness from the doorman put us off so we left. After this happened our friend was approached by a staff member to be told that as she wasn’t staying for a drink she couldn’t use the toilet as they were for customers eating food only. Would not recommend going here if you’re looking for somewhere where you feel welcome, perhaps go to Portmarnock!

Great place to stay in Dublin! Warm reception, more than attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Not done yet, delicious breakfast, central location as we walked to and from 90% of the places most tend to visit while in Dublin and last but not least, truly attentive and caring staff. I mention this twice because there was not a request I made that was met with anything other than a smile and fulfillment of that request. Wonderful place I hope to visit again!

Stunning hotel with an excellent location. Charming place to stay. Definitely check out the garden area behind the hotel. Staff will unlock the gate. Only downside’s were the room was pretty warm with the Dyson fan. The small step into the bathroom was interesting. Then the step up into the shower was just as awkward. Besides that the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful one night stay after landing in Dublin. It was a great start to our trip. Perfect location. The rooms are impeccable. The grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic. Being the location is in the city you would expect it to be noisy, but we did not hear a thing during the night. A little pricier than some of the other hotels that I was looking at, but not that much more expensive. Well, worth the extra cost.

This is a perfect place and is among the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. They are very much an asset. They have stairs and they automatically took the luggage. Rooms are well equipped, although the smaller ones may not be for you if you are travelling with lots of luggage. However, they are clean and comfortable. When I arrived in mine there was soft classical music from the radio rather than a TV which tried to flog me stuff. Breakfast is very good. Proper berries, not cheap melon, a very decent helping of different breads and a good choice of hot options. When I travel on my own as a woman I am often put into the darkest corner and then ignored - not here. I was given a nice table and served exactly the same as others It will be my go-to place in Dublin.

We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary in mid July of this year. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and is centrally located to everything in Dublin. I would absolutely stay here again! My only feedback is that the air conditioning unit wasn’t strong enough to combat the heat wave we experienced, but I imagine that isn’t usually an issue. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it as anyone’s first choice for accommodation in Dublin.

Be Sweet Cafe is a charming and visually stunning spot that opened in February, offering an array of colorful lattes made from ingredients like blue spirulina and butterfly pea flowers. The cafe's maximalist decor makes it perfect for Instagram, and the coffee is top-notch. While some find the cakes a bit heavy, the pastries and chocolates are delightful. It's also kid-friendly, making it a great place for families to enjoy delicious drinks and treats.
Step into a charmingly tiny space that feels like a high tea jungle, reminiscent of the White Lotus! Lush and inviting, perfect for a cozy escape. Friendly and efficient service. Menus are conveniently placed at tables, and you order at the till. Your drink arrives with a delightful complimentary chocolate. While I only sampled a cake, the quality was excellent. Ideal for couples seeking a delightful coffee break. Space is limited, so larger groups might find it challenging. Noise levels can increase when full. Overall, a gem of a coffee place with a unique and memorable ambiance. Highly recommended for a party of two!

Never even knew this quaint little place existed. Came across it by chance and was instantly intrigued + I was ready for a cup of coffee. Thought I’d just do a takeaway and walk on but the decor, display and friendliness of the staff made it a very easy choice for me and I decided to sit in instead. The ceiling decoration is absolutely gorgeous and so is the presentation of the food. Golden peacock plates? Yaasss!!! And the mugs… Can you tell why I decided not to just grab a coffee and walk on? It’s also quiet and calm which is so so so good in a bustling city centre.

I've been working near Central Park for almost five months and only discovered this gem recently. In my opinion the best coffee place I've been to so far. The staff is so friendly and always with a smile on their faces, the waiting time in the morning is very short and the coffee is the most delicious I've had in Dublin (or any other place). Since I've been here for the first time I made it part of my daily morning routine to get a cup of (iced) coffee before work and hang out a bit on the terrace. I can highly recommend this place, even though the prices are higher than at other coffee places here, but the quality speaks for itself.

If you're looking to kickstart your day in Dublin, The Eddison Restaurant is the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. Nestled within the stylish confines of the five-star Dylan Hotel, this eatery offers a delightful array of options from continental cheeses and meats to indulgent American pancakes and classic Irish breakfasts. The standout choice here is undoubtedly the Dylan Breakfast, which promises an authentic taste of Ireland.
Starter: Scallops made with grapefruit sauce and peanuts are very delicious, sweet and sour and very appetizing Main: Aged beef, I don't know what part of the aged beef is, the taste is OK, but the texture is a bit hard and needs to be improved. The fries and salad are very delicious, which makes the taste richer. Dessert: French Mille-feuille. The waiter accidentally knocked it over when it was first served but apologized politely and quickly made me another portion. This was a good way to handle it 😁 and I was impressed. The taste was good and not greasy, 🍓 and the cream and puff pastry went perfectly. The accompanying vanilla 🌿 ice cream was also delicious.

The Eddison Restaurant was the perfect way to start each morning during our stay at the Dylan Hotel. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and their thoughtful care added a personal touch to every breakfast. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each morning brought a beautifully prepared spread that was both satisfying and refined. Fresh croissants (the chocolate ones were a favorite), vibrant fruits, and rich, aromatic coffee set the tone for the day ahead. The ambiance was bright and relaxed, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. Whether you're a guest at the Dylan or simply seeking a top-notch breakfast in Dublin, The Eddison delivers a memorable experience with style and heart.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're searching for the perfect spot to revive your spirits after a night out in Dublin, look no further than The Eddison Restaurant at the Dylan Hotel. This hidden gem not only boasts a chic and inviting atmosphere but also serves up what can only be described as the best "morning after" club sandwich in the city! What sets The Eddison apart is the exceptional service. Patrick, the manager, is an absolute gem. His friendly demeanor and unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction create an experience that feels personal and welcoming. He goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels valued, and his recommendations are spot-on. You can tell he genuinely cares about making your visit memorable. Location-wise, The Eddison is just a pleasant fifteen-minute walk from the Aviva Stadium, making it a perfect stop before or after an event. Whether you're heading to a game or just exploring Dublin, this restaurant is conveniently situated to add a delicious touch to your day.

The food and drinks at this place are absolutely fantastic. They have the best burger in town, the only real club sandwich I have ever had in this country and an absolutely fantastic margarita, among all the other drinks. I usually sit in the bar area or outside and I have to say the service is deficient. I always had a hard time ordering there. Even at the bar is hard to get their attention.

Truly awful experience today for lunch. We had been on many occasions before and were always wowed by the atmosphere food and service. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch today and were seated next to a group of 50 people which appeared to be a christening. The noise was deafening, children running around screaming and staff were few, and very overwhelmed. The food was really poor, the accompanying salad with the prawn tempura lacked freshness, the steak was as tough as old boots with no marination, and the ice cream for dessert was similar to what you’d get at a children’s birthday party. I complained to management and they did discount the bill, a solid gesture but not what I was looking for! We were looking for a nice meal in a ‘small leading hotels of the world’ restaurant but it felt like a cross between McDonald’s and a roadside cafe. Management need to step up, this is APPALLING, and we will not be stepping in there ever again

I am reviewing breakfast only. The service was excellent. I had my soy latte perfectly done, and hot. The wait staff offered a complementary bread and yogurt stack and any egg cooked to your liking. Overall, it was a great start to the morning.

Overall it was ok experience. Food was good. But I must say that their staff is extremely slowly. To get a cocktail it would take around 20-30 minutes

We had a wonderful stay at Seaview! Rita is very welcoming and makes an amazing breakfast. It is a nice location that is a short walk to the train for a quick trip into Dublin. Highly recommend!

Stayed at this B & B for a week, as we had gone over to see family in Dublin. Rita made our stay very enjoyable. She really is a lovely friendly lady that goes out of here way to make your stay enjoyable. They were 3 of us, staying in 2 rooms that both had private facilities. The guest house is immaculate, with everything you could want. The beds are really comfy and the Irish breakfast is second to none..... it lasted us all day!! Whenever we return to Dublin we will be sure to stay at the Seaview...... We loved it - thank you so much Rita, you are a STAR.....
