Cocktail bar
Step into the Vintage Cocktail Club, a sophisticated bar with a speakeasy ambiance located in the lively heart of Dublin's Temple Bar. This three-story establishment exudes 1920s charm with its vintage decor and cozy atmosphere. It has been acclaimed as one of the finest cocktail bars in the country. Guests can enjoy candle-lit cocktails and exquisite dining while surrounded by antique furniture, captivating artwork, and a roaring fire.
A unique cocktail bar crammed with character, you knock on the black door to get in. There's several dimly lit rooms to chill in.. recommend booking before arriving as it a popular spot. They have a large cocktail menu to choose from however will make most classics if you ask. We loved it.

Love this place. A little hidden gem. Cocktails are boozy and delicious. Staff are so helpful and give great recommendations. I’ve been 4 times over the years and not once had a bad experience. Looking forward to my next visit.
Sinead M — Google review
Great experience. Service was out of this world. Cocktails came so quick we were wondering how they did it. Extensive cocktail offering and I threw them a curve ball to create something different which they easily did and was amazing. These guys know what they’re doing! Loved it!
Kevin V — Google review
Yes a speakeasy, hidden in plain sight. But the crowd in front gives it away. Multiple floors with intimate seating, very narrow spaces and dim candlelight lighting. The broccoli was disastrous. The cocktails recommended based on my palate, not good. Had the Rosy&Jim and then the Condor&Curly. They say a cocktail bar with a large menu is nothing special. VCC didn’t serve.
Alexandria M — Google review
A delightful bar secreted behind a scruffy door in the middle row of a busy street adds an air of illicit speakeasy to the whole experience. Ring the doorbell and - so long as you have a reservation - you will be admitted to a dark hallway then upstairs to a large candlelit room decorated in 1920/30s period pieces and individual tables. The service is attentive and very pleasant. An extensive menu of classic cocktails and house variations is laid out chronologically by period. The drinks are well mixed and potent using only the very best ingredients. They also have a menu of snacks and larger dishes. I can thoroughly recommend the Sidecar - superbly lemony and packs a punch. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful piece of atmospheric cocktail longe-lizard life.
Martin M — Google review
A real secret in the Temple Bar area. Ring a nondescript doorbell and be admitted to an old-style speakeasy. Extensive cocktail menu covering the classics and own inventions. Had two Manhattans which were gorgeous. Lovely service from the friendly hostesses as well. They offer small plates and cocktail making classes as well. You need to book a table - a couple tried to sneak in the door after we were admitted but were pleasingly told to wait by the hostess - some cheek on people lol!
C82 — Google review
I was so impressed with this place I’m writing the review while I’m still at the table. The drinks are so good. And the service is next level good. Do yourself a favor and make reservations. We’ll for sure be back on our next trip to Dublin. I’m attaching a picture of the door just to reinforce it is the nondescript black door.
Angelina H — Google review
Absolutely a must find experience in the heart of Dublin. A nondescript door and doorbell on a busy side street, leads to a gorgeous multilevel, 1930s style speakeasy. The rooms are adorned with velvet furnishings and beautiful art nouveau decor while jazz quietly plays in the background. The menu offers a variety of classic and unique cocktail creations, accompanied by the history of different liquors through the decades. The charcuterie and cheese board was one of the best we’ve ever had. There are cozy nooks and tables on every floor, but we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the very talented mixologist whipping up his concoctions. While they do not require a reservation, making one ensures you have a time slot, they don’t guarantee that they’ll have a spot if you just ring the bell. Also, this is a strictly 23 years old and older experience. In summary, the drinks were delicious, the food was fantastic, the mixologist was knowledgeable and friendly and the unique entry experience and ambience was so beautiful. It was perfection, from beginning to end!

Anantara The Marker Dublin is a trendy 5-star hotel located in the heart of Dublin's urban docklands. It offers contemporary and stylish accommodations with 187 uniquely designed rooms, an upscale restaurant, and a stunning cocktail bar. The hotel features an indoor infinity pool and a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the cityscape, mountains, and sea. It is a luxurious retreat for modern-minded travelers seeking a blend of urban buzz and natural tranquility.
Simply fantastic. We were treated with warmth and respect from start to finish. The staff at every part of the hotel is professional, courteous, and smartly dressed. The answer was always "of course, no problem". We had a corner room with great views of the quay and more appointments than we've encountered in any other luxury lodging. They left us with a nice welcome letter along with bottles of water, a small fruit basket, and some exquisite chocolates. What a class act. The Marker Bar and the morning breakfast both had delicious food and wonderful service as well. The Marker is now our home away whenever we return to Dublin.
Brian Z — Google review
Nice rooms, some with a view. Nice touches - cookies with your coffee and daily fresh water. We tried to get a drink at the roof top bar- not possible- the entire experience felt forbidden - scrutiny on the way up like you a trying to rob the place. Most hotels allow just a simple elevator ride up and if space is available you can just sit and order a drink. I like the fact that spa facilities are included in your stay. Overall 4.5 out of 5.
Kasia S — Google review
From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The level of service here is unmatched every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay exceptional. Check-in was seamless and welcoming, with thoughtful touches that immediately set the tone for luxury. My room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning attention to detail throughout. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel’s amenities exceeded every expectations. Dining here was a highlight: every meal was crafted with care, bursting with flavour, and presented with elegance. Breakfast especially was phenomenal, offering a wide variety of fresh and even dishes that could be made to order The hotel is simply outstanding. Lastly I would like to point out and extend my gratitude to the following individuals, Tugce, Maxim, Kamron, Made and especially Sid. They made my stay in the hotel even though it was just for one night an amazing night.
Lloyd T — Google review
We have been to 5 star hotels before, but Anantara The Marker Dublin was a whole new luxury experience. Although we arrived earlier than check in time, Mr. Brennan, went out of his way to accommodate us as soon as possible and we really appreciate his kind and professional attitude. We loved everything about this hotel, the super nice and friendly staff, cleanliness of the room, hallways, dining room, pool and spa area, you name it. Our junior suite was spacious and luxurious. Anything that is needed for a comfortable stay, was available in the room. We used steam room, pool and jacuzzi and absolutely loved it. There were wide variety of food in breakfast buffet and yet we could also order anything that we desired from the menu. This hotel is perfect for those seeking a high-end getaway, offering luxurious accommodations and outstanding service.
Yasaman N — Google review
We absolutely loved our stay at The Marker! After we got delayed and missed a whole day of our trip, the hotel could not have been more accommodating and nice when we got there. They made sure we got into breakfast before they closed and took our bags up to our room while we waited. The rooms were a good size with plenty of space for us and our baby in her crib. The only area that was tight was the bathroom, but it was still bigger than a majority of European bathrooms! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin!
Katie W — Google review
Wow, this place is amazing, you will not find a better room anywhere in Dublin than here. The staff, delightful. The location, shockingly beautiful. The facilities 😍 my one gripe is the weird little alarm box thing that went off at 6am for no reason. If any Anantara people see this please tell me the purpose of the weird little box. Also, as you can see these pictures are „muy bonita” thanks to my girlfriend for them ☺️
Paul M — Google review
I had such a great time here with my friends! The rooftop is absolutely amazing – perfect atmosphere and views. The restaurant on the first floor is also fantastic. The drinks were really nice, and the food was just amazing. The service was quite good too – Carlos, Sebastian, and all the staff were very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I would recommend and visit again!
Catalina J — Google review
A beautiful hotel with a great view of the riverside and a convenient location. The area is lively during theater events, yet much quieter than the city center around Temple Bar. The staff were very friendly — they parked our car and brought it back within five minutes when requested. Breakfast was varied and delicious. We left with warm memories.

The Dean Dublin is a trendy and contemporary hotel located in the heart of Dublin. The 4-star hotel offers urban-chic rooms and suites equipped with modern amenities such as Marshall amps, Rega turntables, Netflix, snacks, Nespresso machines, and designer goods. The hotel also boasts a hip rooftop restaurant and terrace where guests can enjoy delicious dinners and tasty cocktails while taking in the city views.
Fantastic hotel in Dublin! Located in what seems like the middle of the party district but do not let that put you off as once you're in the hotel, it is quiet and lovely. Great friendly staff. Had our room upgraded at no additional charge. Whilst we were waiting for our room, we had complementary access to the gym and heated pool/sauna which was great. It is a modern hotel with all modern amenities which you'd expect but has a very 1930s feel to it which is amazing. Highly recommend! And next time we're in Dublin we'll definitely be staying here again!
Gurjit R — Google review
The hotel is very expensive for what you get. I went with a big group and we all had different experiences in our rooms. Some rooms had no hair dryer. The shower doesn't have a door, and the floor isn't designed properly, so the water leaks toward the bedroom. Every room had an ice bucket, and when I asked the staff where the ice machine was, they said they didn't have one. There's no need for an ice bucket in the room. The entire experience felt like we stayed at a hotel that wanted to be 4 star but was really 3 or 2 star. Some rooms have a shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries, some don't. Some rooms have a towel warmer that works, some don't. Some rooms are quiet, and some are near or over a club where you can't sleep because there is loud music coming into your room. Breakfast is included, and it's tasty, but it seemed like the hotel understaffed breakfast. Service took a long time and the staff got a lot of orders wrong, but it seemed more like a function of under staffing versus poor service. For the cost of the rooms, I wouldn't recommend staying here. However, if you want to pay the cost and you just want a clean, safe bed and shower, you're good to go.
Mike H — Google review
The Dean has great atmosphere and a great location. However I truly think you should only stay there if you want to party all night. There is a nightclub adjacent to the hotel and it didn't shut down the music until 3:45am. Our room felt like it was on the dance floor. We also couldn't get our room to cool down even after a staff person came up and tried to adjust it. Also our room was literally the size of a train compartment. I don't know if all the rooms are that size, but in our punk bunk room there was zero space. We had to put our suitcases in the hallway, which was the only floor space other than the bathroom. We couldn't wait to get out of that room. The staff was really nice and they gave us a discount, but I would much rather have just had an awesome night in Dublin.
Joni R — Google review
Having been to The Dean for a hen party a few years ago, I thought this would be a good place to stay for the weekend while visiting friends local to the area. However, I should have read the previous reviews before booking. The Dean is unfortunately overpriced for what it is. No daily housekeeping (made clear by the dust bunnies all over the room when I checked in), no space to put luggage, and worst of all - not quiet enough to sleep at night. On arrival I asked the front desk whether my room was in then quietest part of the hotel and they mumbled something about nightlife, and made to show me my room in the townhouse - and were many meters ahead of me down Harcourt Street while I struggled with my luggage to keep up. They simply pointed out the directions and didn’t bother to offer any other help. Not exactly what you’d expect from a 4* hotel. The bed was comfortable but unfortunately I didn’t sleep a wink due to a wedding happening over the weekend. Surely the front desk should have mentioned this when I asked for a quiet room! I might have then been able to cancel my booking and stay at another hotel. The Dean offered me one complimentary breakfast for my 3-night stay, but honestly I feel like I should have been refunded at least one night’s stay. That’s the last time I ever prepay for a hotel! I also found it strange that rather than putting a hold on my card for €50 per night as a deposit, they actually charged my card when I checked in!! I was there over the weekend and they took my card to refund the money, but who knows if/ when that’ll show up. Overall, this hotel is fine if you need a place to crash if you’re clubbing next door, or if you are attending a wedding - just don’t expect a restful night of sleep :(
Julianne — Google review
Service was exceptional. Dave was wonderful—he shared some great tips and made me feel completely at home. It felt like chatting with an old friend. The room was lovely as well. I didn’t have any issues with noise. I must have been on the other side of the club, though I was on the 4th floor, just below The Sophie. There was some construction, but it was quite minimal considering the circumstances. Being from New York, I’m used to constant horn honking, alarms, and the general white noise of city life—so it actually felt pretty still to me. (LOVE HOW NO ONE SEEMS TO HONK HERE. so refreshing!!! I was pleasantly surprised, especially since the listing mentioned possible noise and even provided earplugs. If you’re staying in a city, you should always anticipate a bit of background sound—it’s just part of the experience. Oh if you do come, bring a swim suit and make sure to book some time at the pool and sauna. It was quite peaceful and lovely, and nice to have to oneself since the pool is quite small and laps are only a few strokes, but it felt good!
Verushka S — Google review
Room was clean and had a cool unique vibe; speaker was a nice touch. Nice large windows with gorgeous views. Bathroom was also clean and very modern, with towel warmer. Staff were very friendly and helpful, gave great recommendations. There is a club outside so music can be heard until about 2:30 but they provide ear plugs, and if you close the window it’s not terribly loud anyways. Definitely would stay here again
Caitlyn M — Google review
Absolutely the Loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. Do not book here if you have business in Dublin or are a person who simply would like to rest once at their hotel. There is a club Next door that is very loud into the night Every Night. Caution. ***The Dean does provide their guests ear plugs for the Known disturbance & just asks guests to wait until around 3:00am when "it normally stops." Not sure a 5 star Priced hotel hopes for guests to be So desperate that they sleep on the floor to get the farthest from the windows as possible.

What a gem. The Friday night was a bit noisy, so I would recommend the rooms at the back. Clean, cute, and charming. The food and drinks were fabulous.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Dublin with great staff who want to talk to you. It has a retro bar and nightclub, as well as a restaurant, making it perfect for a night sleep.
I stayed at The Grafton with 3 family members of mine. Upon an early morning arrival in Dublin, we were thrilled that the staff was able to get us checked into one room early so we could freshen up and explore. While we did have a VERY MINOR issue with room assignments, I could not recommend staying at this property more!!! The service we received was excellent; the rooms were so clean they felt brand new, the staff were among the friendliest I have ever encountered, and any request we had was fulfilled. Beyond that, this hotel deserves 5 stars for the LOCATION alone. We ubered only twice during our 5 days in Dublin….everything is within 15 minutes of this hotel. A very special thanks to Adam for all of your help and kindness as we settled in — you really made us feel at home! I look forward to staying with you again.

Just stayed here for the fourth time and have booked again for my next trip to Dublin. The location is perfectly located in the centre of Dublin close to shopping, bars & restaurants. The hotel itself is impeccably clean with a lovely hotel bar. The breakfast buffet is great. But what I love most about this hotel is the staff - on every occasion I have been here and with everyone I have interacted with they have been so exceptional and friendly. The most recent stay for my wedding at Dublins registry office, Murilo(I hope I have gotten that correct) was fantastic and could not have done any more for us to make the stay more special and hassle free.
Lyndsey E — Google review
I had a fantastic stay at The Grafton Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it a truly relaxing experience. The location is ideal too — right in the heart of Dublin, with everything within walking distance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Grafton Hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-run place to stay in the city. Can’t wait to return!
Martina C — Google review
We recently enjoyed an excellent stay at The Grafton whilst celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. From the moment Pat picked us up from the airport we laughed. This is what Irish hospitality is all about. Noel, Gary, Simon and the entire team cannot do enough for you, from making sure you have your coffee in the morning to recommending places to go, and keeping an eye on when you get in from the pub.... All with such a lovely manner. Everyone made such an effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay and were able to make the most of all Dublin has to offer. It felt like the closest a hotel can feel to staying in someone’s home! The location is surprisingly very quiet given that it is right in the middle of everything. Convenient for walking around with Trinity College, Grafton Street and Temple Bar nearby …that is if you can leave the comfortable bed or move after the delicious breakfast. The weekly weather report in the lobby is brilliant, hopefully it will go on the website?! Dublin is a fantastic city in itself and the people make it very special. We’re looking forward to our next stay and in the meantime wish you continuing success!

We had one of the best and memorable experiences while staying in Dublin at the Grafton Hotel. Location of the hotel is great with restaurants and shopping steps away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The entire staff at The Grafton were amazing. We would like to thank Adam who went above and beyond to ensure we had one of the best experiences while on our first trip to Dublin. Looking forward to many more returns!

We had a lunch to celebrate a special date and we invited 20 people. It was just all perfect! The reception, the place, location in city center, the organization, the food was amazing, the price also was the best option, I recommend 100% and all my friends that was there was impressed with the place. They also give a fight to us to our baby daughter and a chocolate.

A gem in downtown Dublin. Within walking distance of many places to see and do. Pubs galore. Guinness, Teeling, Irish Rock n' Roll Museum, restaurants... And public transportation, if needed, is also easliy accessible. No need to rent a car. And why pay for parking? The hotel itself has a beautiful entrance, and check-in was a breeze. The room was a bit on the small side, but nothing near ridiculous. Most hotel rooms in the area are not big. And really...If you're not out enjoying Dublin and the surrounding areas, the hotel room size isn't the issue. Clean and up-to-date. Friendly staff... Chloe and Gary for starters. Breakfast food was quite tasty. And a very nice variety. The bar was nice as well. If you're looking to stay in downtown Dublin, do not miss out on this hotel.

Notably, it boasts an exceptional collection of Irish art including famous paintings by Jack B Yeats like 'The Liffey Swim'.
What a spectacle! One of the best art galleries I've ever visited. Natural light allows you to see the true colors of the paintings and the artist's brushstrokes. No protective glasses to interfere with the experience. The rooms are spacious, so you can breathe and walk among the paintings undisturbed. The incredible thing is that the museum is free, so consider making a donation. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing gallery. It is free to get in. You are allowed to take pictures but there are some painting that is clearly marked to not take pictures. The “The Meeting on the Turret Stairs” is a MUST see. This is in room 20 with the beautiful stained glass. The staff was phenomenal. Very kind and helpful. Knowledge about all of the art. There are three floors of art and the basement has a cafe.

I am in awe. This gallery is so thoughtfully designed, complete with a cloakroom that has password-protected cubicles for belongings—no money required. There is also a creative space where visitors can sit down and explore their own artistic talents. It was a delight to see the works on display at the board. The gift shop was well stocked as well, with many intriguing titles on the book racks. Sadly, due to time constraints, I could not browse them more closely. And the collection itself? Simply stunning. This was my first visit, but I sincerely hope it will not be my last. A trip to Dublin could be justified solely for the chance to spend a leisurely afternoon in this beautifully curated gallery, which is also free to the public. There is so much to learn here, with descriptions that are highly informative. Whether you are an art enthusiast or simply someone who is easily moved by visual beauty, this place is a must-visit in Dublin.

I absolutely loved my visit to the National Gallery of Ireland! It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place, right in the heart of Dublin. The building itself is stunning — bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. You can easily spend several hours wandering through the different wings, and every room feels inviting and well-curated. The collection is impressive, with a wonderful mix of Irish and European art. I especially enjoyed the Irish works — it was fascinating to see how the country’s history and culture come through in the paintings. There are also well-known pieces by artists like Vermeer, Caravaggio, and Monet, which was an amazing surprise. Each section has clear descriptions that make it easy to understand the stories and context behind the artworks, even for someone who isn’t an art expert. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the gallery felt very calm and well-organized. Admission was free, which made it even better, but it’s the kind of place I’d happily pay to visit. There’s also a lovely gift shop and a nice café where you can relax after exploring. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone spending time in Dublin — whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a peaceful, inspiring experience. I left feeling refreshed and grateful that such a wonderful gallery is open to the public. Highly recommend!

Visiting the National Gallery was one of the highlights of my trip to Dublin. First of all, it's free. So even if you end up spending only an hour or so because it is not your thing; you didn't have to pay. There are many services available in the museum such as large and spacious toilets, a free cloakroom and lockers, a café and a wonderful giftshop with a wide arrange of quality gifts. The museum was much larger then I anticipated. I must admit I got lost a few times because the layout is a bit confusing but that was also part of the fun, just wandering around and exploring. They have a wonderful collection, I think there is something there for everyone to enjoy. To my suprise a lot of works from Dutch painters such as Vermeer, Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Steen. As a Dutch person that was fun to see. Staff was super friendly, I had a long chat with one of the staff about the collection and different paintings. I went there on a friday morning right when it opened so it was nice and quiet and the staffmember had all the time to talk. I had a wonderful time and will absolutely put this on my itinerary again for a future trip.

Amazing museum with incredible paintings exhibitions. I got lost in time here with so many art you can see. The museum is free admission and very well organised. Staff are very friendly and helpful Definitely worth a visit

I enjoyed my time at the National Gallery of Ireland, even if the person staffing the information and welcome desk seemed a bit distracted and unwelcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day. The gallery's collection surprised me a bit. Though at least one section advertises European art, almost everything in it is Irish — and that's fine with me, just surprising given the label. I very much enjoyed seeing the work of Irish artists throughout the gallery, almost all of them unknown to me. The gallery's collection of Irish art is strong, and that's as it should be, it seems to me. The display rooms are also pleasant, airy, well-lit with skylights and large windows (in rooms where there aren't paintings to protect from the sunlight, that is). The gift shop on the ground floor is also very nice, with a nice selection of books, post cards, replicas of art work, and gifts.

This is a great Gallery! An outstanding collection. Accessible throughout. For those that need it there is a fully equipped disabled bathroom with rise and fall adult bed and hoist.

Nestled on the vibrant north side of the River Liffey, the Arlington Hotel is a delightful blend of modern comfort and cultural charm. With 131 contemporary rooms equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, this hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring Dublin's rich history and lively atmosphere. Just a short stroll away, you'll find iconic landmarks like the O'Connell Monument, Abbey Theatre, and National Wax Museum Plus.
The hotel itself is lovely, although the rooms could use some renovation. They were, however, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was very tasty. A special thank you to Shane from reception, Kasia from accommodation, and all the restaurant staff for looking after us so well. We truly appreciated your kindness and friendliness!

Staff was very polite. Breakfast is good. Attached bar serves OK food. Room: black mold in shower. Pillows flatter than Kansas. No soundproofing. Any and all noises can be heard in the room at all hours. Challenging to get to sleep. Faucets are the old style hot on one side cold on the other.

Room was fine given the price and location. However. Our front desk guy Ryan was an absolute gem. Giving recommendations to complete strangers. It felt like I knew him personally. It’s been 2 months since I stayed at Arlington but I still remember how good of a man Ryan is. Had to leave a review for him. Love from America. A+ in hospitality

Bottom line. I wished we booked elsewhere. The good.: This hotel is very centrally located, and the staff was friendly. There’s a bar on site and they have a hot breakfast (not included). We got a suite with 3 beds, and our room and bathroom were large. The bad: There are things you should know about the hotel before you book. DO NOT take a room on the street side, especially if it’s a lower floor. There isn’t any AC, so opening the windows is a must in the summer. Our room was large but the carpet was stained and pretty nasty. The room was directly above the entrance to the hotel and bar, so every time we opened the windows, our non smoking room filled with cigarette and/or weed smoke from people hanging around the front entrance from the bar. The street in front of the hotel is very loud and busy, and the windows are old, so they don’t block out the noise. The electrical in the hotel is pretty outdated. All of the wall outlets in our room went out when I plugged in our US to UK wall adapter and began charging our phones. We used the same adapter at two other UK hotels. Without problems. The TV and fan also stopped working. The hotel staff couldn’t figure out which breaker covered our room. They did give us access to a room across the hall to use for charging, but we didn’t have access our phones for the first night we were there. I’m currently waiting to see if the manager is going to give us a discount for that first night. The bathroom was large and updated, but the fan is small. There is a big window in the bathroom, but it was painted shut. The shower was clogged and was close to overflowing with each shower. I popped the drain cover off which allowed it to drain. Under the drain was a ton of hair and other things clogging it up. There’s no elevator going up to our room, so we carried luggage up the 3 landings. I walked into several other hotels in the area during our stay, and after comparing, I wish I had known how this place really was before we booked it. Update. The hotel called and advised they would provide a 25% discount. Also said they will be making some changes.
Bradshaw B — Google review
The age of the hotel does show and it's somewhat rundown. There's minimal amenities in the hotel and in the room, so if that's what you're expecting you'll be disappointed. In terms of location, it's pretty much in the heart of downtown Dublin and a short walk from Connally Station, so it's super convenient for any tourists. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Jack L — Google review
Located just across the river from Temple Bar area. It's in a fairly quiet area (as opposed to the temple bar area). There is live entertainment in the bar from 7 to 10 ( A singer and guitarist) The celtic nights show is next door. Celtic nights is a song and dance show for tourists who want to enjoy traditional Irish music and dance together with good food.

The staff at this hotel were among the nicest I have ever met. They were always happy to assist. Combined with a fabulous location just across the bridge from Temple Bar and you can't go wrong staying here.

Overall great experience, lovely clean big room for 3 people...only thing was the room got cold as the night went on, and noise from street outside. Location is so central to everything. Would stay here again. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The Westbury is an elegant and upscale hotel located just off Dublin's prestigious Grafton Street, nestled between Trinity College and St. Stephens Green. This five-star hotel is the perfect starting point for exploring Dublin's fashionable retail and cultural quarter, with top restaurants, designer stores, Irish pubs, theaters, museums, and art galleries all within walking distance.
Stayed here recently for my Birthday and upgraded to a terrace suite... which was such a great idea. The hotel itself is stunning, staff are incredible and on hand for assistance in anything you could want/ need. The room was incredibly spacious with a huge comfortable bed, seating area and large bathroom. The only down side was, I only stayed one night!! I live in Dublin and this was a real treat but so worth it! I'll be back!
Sarah C — Google review
I have a mixed review of the Westbury after being recommended this place by three different individuals. The hotel itself is fantastic; the staff is great. The attention to detail is great. The turndown service is great. The breakfast is great. My biggest problem (and it was big) is that there are some rooms in the hotel (we were in one) where you cant escape the loud music from the pubs/clubs below. If you stay on a weekend then definitely make sure to ask if you can get a quieter room. Additionally, there was quite a bit of construction going on around our room and we constantly heard sawing noises. I would stay here again because the location is perfect and the staff is amazing, but I would definitely make sure I wasn't facing the same street that I did on this trip.
Matthew B — Google review
The best part about this hotel is the Sidecar bar. The bartenders, servers, and manager are the absolute best. By far the best service in all of Dublin when it comes to service in food and drinks. Professional, funny, and just a great time. The hotel itself is eh. For the price, not worth it at all. Rooms are small, food at breakfast is minimal in selection. The downstairs restaurant is fantastic when it comes to food and service. Overall this hotel in opinion is very overrated for the price.
Tyler D — Google review
Ah the Westbury......what to say here..... Well first, the service is top notch. They are very attentive. I liken the rooms to rooms in any major city across the U.S This isnt a knock mind you, but simply a reality of being in a bigger city. They are smaller, but have all the things you would expect from a quality hotel. The bar and restaurant are beautiful. And you are in the heart of Dublin, so you have everything you could ask for. Top Notch.

The Westbury was hands down the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary and I couldn’t imagine having stayed anywhere else. Every staff member we came into contact with was incredibly kind and accommodating, from the valet and waitstaff to the concierge and housekeeping staff. Waitstaff at WILDE even made sure to remember us and address us by name every morning for breakfast! Every meal we had at WILDE and Balfes was delicious. The hotel’s location couldn’t be any more convenient, being steps from Grafton street and within walking distance of most of Dublin’s top attractions in the city centre. I can’t wait to go back and stay at the Westbury the next time we’re in Dublin.

It's an absolutely stunning hotel and the service is top notch. Every person you interact with is so kind and helpful. We loved our stay here. Brendan, Noa, and Adrian were absolutely lovely and really made our stay memorable.
Erin K — Google review
Of course for this price one expects everything to be great, but I would single out truly spectacular and friendly staff, and very memorable afternoon tea. Only one quibble: workout facility nowhere near the quality of the rest of the place.
Glenn M — Google review
We returned for our 1 year anniversary after staying here on our wedding night. We booked a package that included a complimentary upgrade, cocktails, and late checkout, none of which were properly delivered. The “upgrade” wasn’t available due to an entire floor being closed for works (something we weren’t told in advance), and the noise made it impossible to enjoy the late checkout. It felt misleading to advertise perks that were never realistically available. To add to the frustration, we later saw another package offering the same room plus dinner for less than what we paid, even though we dined at the restaurant anyway. We spent over €400 more for far less value. We raised this twice via email and received only generic responses, with no real effort to address the issue or offer anything meaningful in return. Very disappointing for a 5-star hotel. We expected better service and transparency. We won’t be returning.

The Merrion Hotel Dublin offers elegant accommodations with a touch of sophistication. The hotel boasts two restaurants, a pub, and a cocktail bar for guests to enjoy. Nearby dining options include The Shelbourne's Champagne Terrace, The Garden Terrace at The Merrion, Matt the Thresher's terrace, House Dublin on Leeson Street, and Pennylane Bar off Capel Street.
We really loved our stay at The Merrion. It was comfortable and had a special feel to it. The room wasn’t huge, but it was cozy. The food was really tasty and the service in the restaurant was top-notch: professional and attentive. There were just a couple of things: Underground parking. It’s quite small and tight, and doesn’t feel very well looked after. Staff are coming and going through it, so it feels more like a utility area than proper guest parking. For a hotel of this standard, I think they could do better. Housekeeping. This was a bit surprising. The staff were very chatty, asking personal questions and even commenting on guests’ belongings. It didn’t feel appropriate, and definitely not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel.

We had a delightful two night stay at the hotel and would recommend it highly. It has character and charm combined with impeccable customer service. My 7 year old granddaughter was with us and they had the sweetest bed, bathrobe and slippers for her. The location is perfect with a park around the corner and near the center of the city. We didn't get the chance to visit the restaurant as it was closed but the snacks and drinks were perfect.

A wonderful place to stay in Dublin. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. There is a great selection of food in both the continental and hot meals. The Merrion is located about a 5 minute walk from Grafton Street.

Excellent. Consistent. Warm, homely and hugely professional. It's as good as it always was from day 1. The new extension and the extended Garden Room with the Cabanas ...Just heavenly. Oh, the food, amazing, everything about the food is superb. We had a delightful lunch. We haven't stayed there in an age, mainly now because we have a little dog and The Merrion isn't pet friendly...that's a pity. Congratulations to everyone involved. And we see that the wonderful Art Collection is being added to all the time.

Nestled along the north bank of the River Liffey, The Mayson Dublin is a trendy hotel that beautifully marries history with modern flair. Housed in a transformed 1870s warehouse and former dockers pub, this chic establishment boasts an industrial aesthetic complemented by stylish retro decor featuring brass accents and exposed brick walls.
Booked the basement bar for an 80th birthday celebration and I have to give credit where it is due, Matthew and the Team went over and above to make it a fantastic night. The room itself is modern, tastefully decorated and very well equipped with a great AV and sound system. The staff were amazing all night and anything we asked for, they delivered. The food was the best food I have ever had at any event anywhere. We will definitely be booking the space again for our next event and could not recommend it highly enough.

Modern hotel with its own quirks. Room was on the small side, but nothing egregious. Would have liked a hair dryer in the room like some other reviews mentioned. Staff were helpful and pleasant, including helping me with some breakfast particularly early. Stayed here as it was easy on/off from the M50 for a night before flying out and I could avoid the hotels near the airport. Found street parking which was free until 7am.
Alayna G — Google review
Location great for work. Public areas-bar, breakfast food etc lovely. Bedrooms, clean and tidy but unbelievably small- shoe boxes. You had to stand on the bed to pull the curtains and had nowhere to put you bag or leave it flat and accessible. Shower was decent but, like the bedroom, there was no space in the bathroom at all. That and with construction next door you can't even open the curtains unless you want the builders looking in at you as was the case daily. They were waving at one stage..but thankful for the 7am wake up call each morning with the drilling and noise..

We booked the Warehouse Penthouse specifically for the private hot tub on the balcony, which was the main selling point for us. On arrival, we were told it was out of use due to water issues in Dublin yet oddly, the copper bath could be filled and emptied as much as we liked. This just didn’t make sense and felt misleading. Had we known this in advance, we absolutely wouldn’t have paid nearly £2,000 for two nights. The stay was meant to be a 50th birthday surprise, so we chose not to make a scene, though we were only offered a free breakfast and a glass of fizz by way of compensation, which felt underwhelming given the circumstances. The location is okay but quite a walk from Temple Bar. The pool area is nice and breakfast was good although they forgot our order on the first morning, even though it was offered as an apology for the hot tub not being available. Service-wise, it was hit and miss. Despite the “please make up the room” sign being on the door from 8am, by 3pm we still had no fresh towels and had to go ask for housekeeping. The in-room phone didn’t work, and when we tried to call reception, no one answered. At checkout, I mentioned that the room’s key card holder (which controls the electricity) wasn’t working. I was told they were already aware of the issue and were “waiting on maintenance” — yet nothing had been done during our stay. For the price and expectations, this felt like a real letdown. Wouldn’t return.
Harley L — Google review
The room was fine. However, the location is a pretty significant walk from the central part of Dublin most visitors would want to spend time in. But what really killed the experience for me was they had a wedding party going into the wee hours of the morning and refused to tell the DJ to turn the music down (or off), even well after midnight. We will not stay here again. There are much better options in central Dublin.
William O — Google review
Noisy room due to building work next door. Hotel staff told us that this was mentioned in the FAQs and that it was our fault for not checking these (as if anyone looks at the FAQs before booking). Wasn't a big fan of that as it felt like a bit of a cop out. After being woken up at 7:00 am each morning and having about 4 discussions with the hotel manager I managed to get a small refund on the room price. Overall wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience and wish they just mentioned the building work noise during the booking process rather than hiding some mealy mouthed disclaimer in the FAQs. Hotel itself was nice and had a good pub next door. Location is a bit of a wasteland though.

The perfect vibe for a special getaway! We picked The Mayson for our 23rd wedding anniversary and honestly, it’s been spot on so far. From the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere just clicked—stylish, relaxed, and buzzing with energy. The decor is modern with a cool edge, but still warm and welcoming. It feels like a place that really knows who it is. Huge shout-out to the lady on reception who welcomed us—she was incredibly friendly, helpful and just set the tone for the whole experience. It’s not always the case in hotels, but here, we genuinely felt looked after from the very first interaction. Breakfast was tremendous. I had The Works, my wife had the Eggs Benedict—both absolutely hit the spot. Full bellies, satisfied appetites and that “mmm” moment after every bite. The coffee was on point too, and the breakfast venue itself was cozy, calm and just a really cool place to start the day. We haven’t even seen our room yet, but if it matches the vibe and quality we’ve experienced already, we’re in for a treat. We’ve only got two nights here and loads planned, but The Mayson already feels like the perfect base for our Dublin adventure. Highlights so far: the amazing receptionist, the breakfast, the vibe, and the location. Looking forward to discovering more!

Don’t listen to any negative views. Rooms are cosy and no problem at all for a couple. Location is great. Swimming pool, gym, steam room/sauna all industry leading. Everything is thought of… shavers, deodorant in changing rooms, latte art on the coffees, water all over the hotel if needed. Great pub attached. I’ll be coming back… don’t be giving any of the large chan hotels your money to get beige boring rooms and impersonal service!

Had such a lovely time at The Devlin! We went for a gorgeous meal at Laylas Italian restaurant - the food was divine! Everything was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and the flavours were out of this world. Best meal we’ve had in Dublin for a long time. We ate out on the covered rooftop terrace and the views were beautiful! After dinner we popped down to the cinema downstairs for a comedy show which was so brilliant. In stitches comedy was the show and had 4 hilarious comedians on, didn’t stop laughing throughout! Yummy popcorn and cocktails in super comfy seats. Will definitely be back to see a movie! Overall such a great night, already planning the next one!!

The cocktails here are divine and also they have a great bartender who is so polite and more than happy to help you pick what you like. The staff are so nice and genuinely helpful. The rooms in the devlin are I personally think are cosy and well designed. The hotel in all is an beautiful and the staff are lovely. More than accommodating towards families. Its nice to see a hotel with such style, still hold values of customer service.

I hosted my sister's hen party at The Devlin and it was an amazing day for friends and family. We started off in the Cinema in the basement showing videos of our bride and a quiz. This was followed by a cocktail making class in the bar with Philip who was excellent. We then had dinner in Laylas which was on the terrace with gorgeous views and delicious food. The staff were amazing throughout the day and couldn't do enough for us. The service was excellent. The day was seamless and I would highly recommend The Devlin for an event.

This is a lovely hotel complex with a rooftop restaurant bar and cinema. We were in the ground floor bar and my partner ordered and paid for drinks. It was a quiet tuesday evening in the bar. We had the one drink, finished it and made our way to the front door. We were approached by the barman that had served my partner and he accused us of not paying. We were quite embarrassed and my partner had to show the barman the transaction on her phone before we could leave. It was quite an embarrassing situation albeit the barman apologised. Most definitely won't be going back.

The Guinness Storehouse is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts and travelers in Dublin. It offers a captivating brewery experience that delves into the history of Ireland's famous Guinness beer, founded by Arthur Guinness in 1759. The storehouse, located on a 60-acre site west of Christ Church Cathedral, showcases the legacy of the iconic stout through engaging displays across six floors built around a central glass atrium shaped like a giant pint glass.
If tourists and Guinness beer aren’t your thing, you can skip this tour. Ha! This is a well-designed, modern, and thoughtfully curated museum dedicated to the history and craft of Guinness. Just note, it’s not a factory tour. I’d give the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin two thumbs up for a great way to spend a couple of hours in the city. The building itself is shaped like a giant pint glass, with seven stories in total. The main tour covers about three levels and walks you through the process of beer making. Floor 4 is all the fun advertising thought the years and media room to watch their iconic commercials. Don’t skip the tasting room, it’s a brilliant sensory experience where you can explore the aromas of Guinness and enjoy your first sample while learning how to properly drink the black stuff! You finish the tour in the Gravity Bar at the top (floor seven), which offers grand panoramic views of Dublin. All told, I give it five shamrocks outta five. Sláinte! 🍀🍺

Highlights: - Incredible History: Learned so much about Guinness's heritage and legacy - Interactive Exhibits: Engaging displays made the experience fun and memorable - Perfect Ending: Poured our own perfect pint at the Gravity Bar rooftop, with stunning Dublin views - Delicious Food Truck: Tried the tasty hotdog outside – a great snack! Guinness Storehouse is an absolute must-visit in Dublin! Allow at least 2 hours to soak it all in.

I had the opportunity to visit the Guinness Storehouse, which was the place I most wanted to see while in Ireland. There are interesting shops inside, and the history of the brewery, as well as the history of Ireland, is displayed and is fascinating to see. They demonstrate how to sample the stout, and there are delicious restaurants. Plus, the top floor offers panoramic views over the entire city of Dublin. The service staff are all great, and some were kind enough to offer me free beer samples (a pint :D). If I ever get the chance to return to Ireland, I will definitely visit this place again.

It was a great experience. It was super well presented and everything was well organized. It was easily orientable and the progression was logical. Additionally, it was very interactive with all the different parts of the exhibition. Something i particularly liked was how on theme everything was throughout (such as the “roasting” part was in a room themed with furnace-like lighting)! Super cool. Would strongly suggest going.

A fun experience even if you're not a Guinness drinker. A self-guided tour across 7 floors where you can learn about the entire process of making Guinness and it's history as a brand including it's famous advertising. The ticket includes a free Guinness or other drink in the Gravity Bar on the top floor with views over Dublin. Can be very busy so best to book although you can get tickets at the door.

My visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin was absolutely amazing! We bought our tickets online, which made everything quick and easy. The whole experience is designed by floors, and each level tells a different part of the Guinness story — from its rich history and iconic marketing campaigns to the brewing process itself. The concept is super well thought-out, interactive, and visually stunning. I loved learning about how the beer is made and how the brand became such a global symbol. You can even enjoy a non-alcoholic Guinness during the tour, which was a great option. Totally worth it!

I was unsure eif going as I thought it could be very touristy but honestly loved the experience, spend a number of hours there going through the different floors, learning about historical side and how it influenced and still is entertained with modern improvements. Highly recommend it! Also food is pretty good, we went to the bar and had pie and toastie then up to the rooftop bar for the pint included in ticket price. Views were gorgeous there!
M K — Google review
The Guinness Storehouse is a must-visit in Dublin! The tour is fun, interactive, and full of history — from learning how Guinness is brewed to seeing old ads and memorabilia. The highlight is definitely the Gravity Bar at the top, where you can enjoy a perfectly poured pint with stunning 360° views of the city. Even if you’re not a big beer drinker, the experience is worth it for the atmosphere alone.

The menu boasts creative dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, such as truffled hens' eggs with olive oil foam and mini-lobster hot dogs.
Stunning meal in a lovely setting, the restaurant is vibrant and the service, by Diego, was outstanding. We had steak, pork rib eye and chicken and it was all very very good

Myself and two other friends had my birthday dinner there and one of my friend was running late. We felt a little bit rushed from the staff as if they want us to finish our dinner as soon as we can and just leave. One gentleman who was holding the iPad moved some tables around and said to us that we don’t have to rush anymore because they see that one of our friends still hasn’t arrived so we’re okay. So thank you to him for that. The mocktails wasn’t that bad but when it comes to the food wise , the pricing does not match the food portion. I ordered a 10oz steak WHICH COST €46???? it includes chip if you wanted chips on the side which would’ve been €6.50 alone for itself ??????? The steak wasn’t even that big as well…… the chips itself it’s called “ beef drip chips “ sounds fancy right ???? It’s basically just a small portion of chips and they were even dry too…. On the menu it said there will be service charge for table of 6 or more. It was only three of us girls and there was a service charge on our bill ???????? Overall the interior of the restaurant is nice but the pricing and staff wise is not the very best. The only thing they were good was that they were very attentive but attitude was not the very best in some way. Don’t think I’m gonna come back again to be honest

Stopped by for an early evening dinner with colleagues 😋. The location of the restaurant is in the busy and bustling Dublin city centre. The ambient in the restaurant great. Food and service was amazing. A good spot for food and drinks solo, or with a group or family.
Dolapo O — Google review
The samosas were a great start, perfectly crunchy on the outside with a flavorful filling that paired really well with the dipping sauce. The pizzas were decent, though a bit underwhelming for the price, simple in toppings and execution. The standout for me was the calzone: generously filled, especially at the center, and absolutely delicious. The combination of duck, caramelized onion, and goat cheese was rich, savory, and well-balanced.

Stopped by the roof top patio for beverages. Loved the setting. Very quiet when we visited midday on a weekday. Perfect fit for us. Server did well given it was their first day.

The attention to detail makes this restaurant worthy to try. The wait staff, including Amit, was very attentive even during a much busy evening. Each course was plated as a work of art.

The place is very nice, there's even a small rooftop that's not very well equipped (when it rains, people get wet, and I've seen people open their umbrellas). Extremely kind and attentive service. The pizza is average, tasty, perhaps a little expensive.

Café en Seine is an elegant art nouveau bar located near Trinity College in Dublin. This iconic spot, which opened in 1993, boasts gilded ceilings, greenery, lanterns, and hidden nooks across its three floors. The bar offers a diverse selection of signature blends curated by Diageo Reserve's World Class Bartender of the Year 2021 Ireland.
It was a pleasant experience at this bar. Folks are friendly and helpful. Always checking in on how we are doing and what we need. Food was delicious. Ambience was nice and live band on a Sunday afternoon! Enjoyed my time at this place. Even though tipping is not common, decided to tip them for an enjoyable afternoon.

Very fun and beautiful restaurant and bar. We ordered the chicken wings that were tasty. Shrimp was tasty but a bit overcooked. Sauce was flavorful. Cassoulet was plentiful and delicious. Service was friendly. Good for a drink or a bite.

Absolutely gorgeous place to eat and party. The gin spritz cocktail and burger were both bursting with aroma and flavor. Lovely texture on the patties and bun. Fries were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of potato to crisp ratio. The establishment is very large with different types of environments for specific dining/drinking experiences. The rear bistro room is perfect on a sunny day; it mimicks being outdoors with it's enormous glass ceiling.

Much better than I expected! The interior looks small in photos, but it’s actually very spacious. We went as part of an event, so I didn’t enjoy the food much, but I think it could be much better at normal times.

I was there for a business event party and it was quiet good ambience. We had fun there and bar was really good, Staffs were very professional at their work. Vegan food is in limited option but it is still good for partying and vibing in the event. This Cafe is located near St Patrick's Park.

Absolutely love this place. Been here a couple of times already and this place never fails! The food was great and reasonably priced. We came here on a Sunday and it has live music from 2-5pm! Lovely vibe and good food and good drinks!! We tried the miso chicken wings and it was bomb!! We also had blueberry pancakes and these were fluffy and so yumm!

Is it a beautiful looking place? Yes Is it worth it? No 50minutes: that’s the time we waited for two brunch plates to arrive, one arriving cold. People who came after us got their food first. Honestly the staff isn’t welcoming, friendly or paying attention. No one is going to say sorry for the delay or ask about your experience. They are a big team so really no excuse. Food was plain, like no salt and pepper plain, not even a dressing in the salad. Not worth it for the price until they get their customer experience improved.

The menu features a blend of New York and Irish cuisines, offering options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. With mains starting from 14.
This is a cool restaurant and bar! We were able to get a table of 5 without reservations. The food was all very good some of the best we had in Dublin. Service was good but not quite to the standard of the food and atmosphere.

Came to Sophie’s on a whim, around 2200 with a reservation. Delighted we came here as most kitchens were closed at this time. The ambiance was modern and chic. Situated on the top floor overlooking part of the city on hotel grounds. Such a nice, distinctive way to spend one of the last nights in Dublin. Food was extremely good and service was attentive and friendly. Menu was varied enough for 3 different palates. I had the grilled sea bass which I really enjoyed, the seafood linguine was also very good. Did not disappoint!

Made a reservation to host my sister-in-law's bridal shower brunch here and it was amazing! The cocktails were creative, fresh, and divine. The food was fabulous. Definitely recommend Sophie's for special occasions or date night!

Sophie’s Rooftop Bar – A Top-Class Experience Had an excellent evening at Sophie’s Rooftop Bar. We kicked things off with the duck croquettes and the gnocchi starter – both were outstanding. The croquettes were crispy, flavourful, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce, while the gnocchi was absolutely immense – bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. Portions were just right for starters. The ribeye for mains was nothing short of spectacular. Cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, and served just the way a good steak should be. Every bite was a treat. The ambiance on the rooftop was cool and relaxed, with great views and a laid-back, stylish vibe. Perfect for an evening out. Special shoutout to the service – our waiter was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Really appreciated the warm and attentive approach. Highly recommend Sophie’s for anyone after top-notch food, a great setting, and genuinely good service.
Stephen — Google review
I really wanted to like Sophie's as it was meant to be our Dublin “splurge” dinner, but both dishes were a letdown. My seafood pasta (€29) tasted like something I could make at home with jarred sauce. The “seafood linguine” was actually spaghetti, and while the mussels, shrimp, and clams were fine, the dish itself had no real flavor or depth. No Parmesan, no bread—just flat. My friend’s gnocchetti was equally underwhelming. The room was quite noisy, and we were so disappointed by our main courses that we didn’t even want to stay for dessert. The view was nice, and our server was polite but seemed a bit confused. Overall, it felt more like a trendy first-date spot for twenty- and thirty-somethings than a genuine dining experience. We left disappointed and wouldn’t come back or recommend it.

Amazing place to spend a celebration. Brilliant service, amazing view, tasty food and great wine. Shout out to our server who I think was called Jeremy (could be wrong). He couldn't do more for us, even putting a candle in my brothers sticky toffee pudding. Communication prior was disjointed, only finding out on arrival that due to this being dealt with by a third party, the restaurant managers had no idea of our previous correspondence. Not a cheap place but definitely worth it if you have an anniversary, birthday or other occasion.

I’ve been here for birthday dinners throughout the years but never really enjoyed the food. This time was different. We really enjoyed our mains: the fish and the ravioli. SCAM, BEWARE! This place tricks you and refuses to give you your money back. Sign out front said 2 cocktails for €16 and that’s the only reason we came in. Told the hostess that’s what we want. After she sat us no one came around and I had to go up to the bar to get my own menu and again had to go up to the bar to order because no one came by. It was 4pm on a weekday so not a terribly busy time. Ordered 2 margaritas, asked for one spicy. Bartender not once said it would be extra for spicy despite me again saying when I ordered I want the special that’s advertised on the sign (which does say margaritas). Got my bill and they charged me double! It’s no longer €16 because of the added “spicy”. I asked for a courtesy adjustment and the manager said no. At this point I find it so ridiculous I even told them I’m going to do a charge back with my credit card company and they still didn’t budge. So instead of doing the right thing, they rather lose a customer, gain a negative public review, get €0 instead of €16, and generally just be a shady business. Proud to say I got my money back from Chase and those crappy drinks were free :)

Such a beautiful place, the design is beautiful. Service was okay, a little slow and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed. The food menu was not loading on their website. So I could not pre plan on what to order. Food was okay the seafood pasta was okay, a little salty. Drinks however were well made. I had the Tommy's Spice Bag Margarita which I enjoyed. The dinning room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean but one of the soap dispensers was out of soap, which can happen during busy hours. It was not busy when I was there. Over all I had an okay experience. Maybe it was an off day but I was not totally impressed on my first visit.

nice little spot for a light bite and a cocktail. Guinness here was super smooth and creamy. spicey margarita was beautiful according to my husband. little bit expensive and the menu states the wrong prices as when we went to pay they charged us 4 euro more on each dish. which has knocked the rating down.

Came because we had someone in our group named Bob which made it fun! There was a musician playing which contributed to the atmosphere. Definitely overpriced (to be expected of the touristy area). The Chelsea Drugstore, located on George Street, has a rich history as it was once a pharmacy that researched and sold the medicinal powers of cocoa. Now transformed into one of Dublin's most exclusive cocktail bars, it exudes a dark and mysterious ambiance with exposed brickwork and atmospheric lighting in its basement setting. It is a popular date spot with couples flocking to enjoy its chilled atmosphere.
I came here with a hen party and had a wonderful time. The service was the highlight with the staff being kind and attentive, the food was lovely and drinks were delicious. They accomodatate non drinkers in the bottomless brunch which was great. Everyone had a wonderful time! Definitely would recommend!

I was at bottomless brunch with my two sisters yesterday and we had the most WONDERFUL time! The waitress was simply fabulous (Betsy or Betty was her name) - she added to our night. She was so lovely and fun. The DJ was also fantastic - great tunes and good craic. The drink was flowing (we went through A LOT of prosecco) but my one little gripe was the food. I got the chorizo dish which personally I found quite small. It was just two chorizo sausages and I ordered a side of potatoes (thank God I did or id have been starved). If the food portions could be improved then this place would be 1000/10. I can safely say I will be back though (with possibly another reservation for another meal afterwards).
Keira F — Google review
We arrived 5 minutes early for our booking but we weren’t allowed in as the two servers had barricaded the front door with stools on which they were smoking. The food was disgusting, ‘cocktails’ were cheap prosecco with different coloured syrups added to each one and the bill was astronomical for what we received! Don’t waste your time or money going here.
Maeve M — Google review
Went for bottomless brunch, the food and the service was fine. However, the drinks were actually undrinkable! Had to send some back they were that bad. They weren’t proper cocktails, just some Prosecco mixed with syrup that was too sweet. Not worth the money at all.

Food was lovely. Went for the bottomless brunch. Host was AMAZING. She was so accommodating and kind. Would come back for the service alone.
Laura W — Google review
Disappointed with the bottomless brunch. The “cocktails” were awful - consisting of syrup and prosecco. The food was terrible. Only 3 breakfast options and the eggs benny was a small cold slice of Serrano ham on a dry English muffin. We had some potatoes on the side which were decent but nothing special. One persons meal came out and then another 10 minutes went by before the other 2 dinners meals came out. This brunch cost us 55 euros each with a 12.5% service charge. One of the biggest rip offs I’ve encountered. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The Temple Bar Pub is an iconic and legendary venue in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar area. With a history dating back to the 1300s, it remains a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Known for its vibrant nightlife, live performances, and famous red exterior, it also offers a licensed garden where visitors can enjoy craft beers and a delicious food menu featuring items like oysters and toasties.
The Temple Bar Pub: An Irish Institution (Brace Yourself!) ☘️💚 If you're looking for an authentic, quiet, deep-conversation Irish pub experience, keep walking. If you're looking for pure, unadulterated, tourist-fueled, high-energy Dublin fun, **The Temple Bar Pub** is your pilgrimage site. It's loud, it's packed, and yes, the pints are famously expensive, but you simply *must* go once, just to say you've done it! This place runs on charisma, traditional music, and sheer volume. The music is almost constant, the crowd is global, and the atmosphere is electric. It is a spectacle of Irish culture (as interpreted for a worldwide audience!) and an absolutely brilliant spot for people-watching and soaking up the chaotic charm of the area it is named after. The sheer volume of red paint and old whiskey bottles might make it feel like a themed museum, but the warmth of the traditional music and the sheer joy of the crowd keep it alive. Grab a pricey pint, fight your way to a spot, and let the session wash over you. It's a rite of passage! You'll leave feeling a bit poorer but undeniably happier. It’s a five-star experience in madness, and sometimes, that’s exactly what the soul needs. A huge thanks to the bar staff who manage to pour those pints at lightning speed—you deserve a medal and a quiet retreat! 🫂🇸🇪 5/5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇻🇦🕊✝️🕯🙏🏻

It’s an incredibly atmospheric place with live music, a warm and lively vibe, and that unique Irish charm. Inside, it feels cozy and welcoming, even though it’s often packed with people. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a pint, and just soak up the spirit of Dublin. A must-visit for anyone coming to the city!

Probably the most famous bar in Dublin and also on temple bar street. The atmosphere here is infectious, there is always someone playing some live music and the vibes wrre fantastic. Prices are definitely slightly higher than usual but I think for the environment, it is well worth it to come here at least once.

Tourist trap but I'd go again. I knocked service down cuz a server gave himself a generous tip and I didn't catch it cuz I was having fun and they know it. My 1st server was great. Ya order either by QR code or grab servers as they walk by. Grab a seat anywhere, it doesn't matter if ya know people or not, everyone is family. Be sure to select your own tip, especially if you're American, they'll kinda expect it but ya don't have to. Lesson learned, don't just tap the machine, check it. Food was fine but everything was priced slightly higher than other pubs. Music was loud but good. It's crowded and hard to chat. Overall, good visit, box checked, plenty of other fun pubs. Check your bill closely and no, I wouldn't bring kids to this pub at night, maybe during the early evening.

During my visit in October, this was one of the most enjoyable bars I went to, beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme. The white-haired singer performing on stage was an incredibly talented artist who took the bar’s atmosphere to another level. When we went, it was absolutely packed we had a hard time getting inside, but that didn’t stop us. While ordering a pint at the bar, I met two Irish guys who bet me that I couldn’t drink my Guinness all the way down to the logo in one go and of course, I couldn’t manage it 😅 The Guinness was excellent though, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet 🍻

With a capacity for only 450 people, the intimate setting adds to its mystique, allowing for a special connection between artists and the audience.
During the Jungle Giants concert at this venue, I had an issue with a person who tried to move me from my spot just because I accidentally broke a glass while dancing. The security team’s conduct was impeccable — they stepped in quickly and professionally, provided full assistance, and even relocated me to an even better spot than my original one. My thanks to the staff and the venue for their efficient and effective response. Highly recommended for anyone who values a place where you can count on security to handle situations with care and professionalism.

Attended Shane Marno gig and although the artist put on a brilliant gig, and the sound quality was very good, the venue itself was far too hot with no air-conditioning. The artist must have been unbearably hot. Drinks very also very dear.

Restaurant manager bit uptight . Failed to serve a prosecco with a freshly pop which was surprising. Anyway we were there for the venue and so the review is for the thrill. They do have performances for which tickets can be booked online . Enjoy Dublin

Great time in the upstairs music space for the Trad Music fest. We saw SinSaol, a 10 man band who played for over 2 hours! Reasonable pints. A good sweaty time!!

Temple Bar's Fitzsimons is a bustling nightclub with casual rooms and free Wi-Fi. It also has a restaurant and live music.
Stopped in for a few pints with some mates. Nothing fancy, just your standard local pub vibe. Decent selection of beers on tap, all poured well. Music was playing—not too loud, not too quiet—mostly familiar tracks, which helped set a relaxed atmosphere. Service was fine, no complaints. We didn’t try any food, so can’t speak to that. Tables were a bit worn but clean enough. All in all, it’s the kind of place you go when you just want a pint and a chat without too much fuss.

We looped around Temple Bar until we heard the live music coming out of the door of the Pub. The atmosphere was lively, and as soon as our large group came in it only increased. It was amazing dancing about with the musician that night and the bar staff were friendly and quick to pick up the glasses littered about the bar. When we're back in Dublin, we'd love to visit!

Can’t believe the way the guy behind the bar spoke to me and my partner yesterday - some of the rudest service I’ve ever experienced. Actually ruined my morning a bit because I couldn’t believe how rude he was. We left. Would not go back because of this. Like it or not you are profiteering off tourists, and you will have tourists come into your establishment. No need for rudeness.
Rebecca T — Google review
Great bar, average prices for the city-a bit cheaper than the ones in the temple bar. The terrace is nice to have a chat while drinking, and the music in the ground floor is really good with the live bands!!! My go-to place when visiting Dublin 🇮🇪☘️

Went in for a quick beverage. Had to wait a while for the bartender and she had an attitude. They didn't serve Jack Daniels so she took it upon herself to pour me a Jameson! I told her that's not what I ordered she got pissed. She should have asked me before she poured the drink. And she couldn't understand a drink on the rocks I explained to her just over ice. She still didn't understand!

The pub was nice, however several members of the staff were unpleasant, and they didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing in regards to directing people on the Saturday night. Generally a pleasant experience. Would recommend visiting at least once.
Joel D — Google review
We stayed a couple nights in the hotel and had a mixed experience. It’s safe and well located, which is what we wanted. The area outside is very loud at night, so it’s perfect if you’re visiting for the nightlife. However the room got very hot, so we needed to open the windows for a breeze, and plenty of bad live music and cigarette smoke came in with the breeze. The staff were all very kind and helpful, but we had several issues. For one, they programmed our room keys wrong at first, and our room also ran out of toilet paper. The biggest red flag was that the shower gel in the dispenser smelled atrocious, as if it was contaminated with something. Despite the issues, I had no major concerns, and I think it would have been a cozy stay on a cool fall day with the windows shut.
Maddy E — Google review
Food is great. Had fish and chips that came with smashed peas. Probably one of the best I've had. Not cheap but worth it (I think it was €24?). Waited for about 20-25 mins for the food which I thought was a bit long considering the simple menu and the place wasn't jam packed (it was busy but not that busy for a Tuesday night). The pub had live music which was a good vibe. As an old pub obviously the floors are extremely sticky and toilets stink but you probs won't notice when you're drunk anyway. Not quite a five star due to the price, wait time, and cleanliness.

Pub
The Long Hall is a traditional pub in Dublin that has been serving locals and tourists since 1766. The Victorian building is adorned with red-and-white-striped awnings, oak ceilings, and old-fashioned globe lamps, creating a nostalgic ambiance. During the day, it's an ideal spot for a quiet pint of Guinness, while evenings see an influx of sociable locals and visitors enjoying the warm atmosphere. The interiors are filled with trinkets and oddities that transport patrons to a bygone era.
I gave five stars for food, but by food I mean a couple of pints of Guinness and a packet of salted peanuts. A perfectly pulled Guinness is what I came here for and it's what I got. Great atmosphere and fast, friendly service.
Robin D — Google review
Worth a visit as it does have a very Victorian feel to it. Very nice but standard selection of beers. We only popped in for a Guinness while we waited for our next appointment to come around. Very nice place to people watch and relax. The prices were reasonable for the area.

Over the last few years my wonderful partner has been discovering his Irish roots and reconnecting with his Irish family. On a rainy afternoon in Dublin he was excited to share with me one of Dublins most iconic venues that has played its part in his recent odyssey. Upon entering it’s easy to understand why this historic boozer is a firm favourite with the locals and tourists alike. Obviously Guinness was our ‘tipple of choice’…( Like there’s any other when visiting a Dublin institution such as this! ) However, you have to understand when you order this national beverage in Dublin there are a few rules involved… NEVER drink from your pint until the nectar is settled and 100% black in colour. ALWAYS place your pint on a beer mat. - I got ‘schooled’ twice in a non verbal firm but friendly manner by the barman - Sláinte. The bar is very traditional, brass fittings, long case clocks, gloss paint on the walls and vintage branded paraphernalia returning you to the halcyon days of drinking - without the cigarette smoke. The place filled up quickly with locals, regulars and after work drinkers - a very pleasant time was spent but sadly after a couple of pints of the brilliant ‘black stuff’ we had to make our way back outside into the rain taking advantage of the complimentary umbrellas on offer at the door - which is a super nice touch and very useful. Thank you and see you again soon I hope x

This old library may be better than even the Book of Kells. It’s like you’re walking through a Hollywood movie set. The books are beautiful as is all the beautiful dark woodwork. The old manuscripts are beautiful in the middle is cool. The big spinning globe is cool but is out of place. This is a must see in Dublin.

When I say "food", I mean some of the best pours of Guinness in the Dublin area. Great place. Cool vibe. And some great people behind the bar there to help fix you up with the perfect pint or other liquid libation.

No Beamish! There is a pic from a couple years ago but they apparently switch out stouts. They had Clockwork, which was decent. I specifically came for Beamish (there are plenty bars in Dublin that serve it, was trying to see as many as possible).

The Workman's Club is a vibrant and colorful venue located in a historic Georgian building in the heart of Temple Bar. Originally serving as the City of Dublin Working Men's Club, it reopened in 2010 with a mission to become the premier space for indie expression, offering live music, comedy, spoken word performances, and EDM club nights. The main room has a 300-person capacity with two bars and a roof terrace that can accommodate even more guests.
I had an absolutely fantastic time at The Workman's Club in Dublin! Not the top music venue in Dublin, but it's a cheap & cheerful spot to see new, local and up & coming artists. Pints still pricey but service is good and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The sound and lighting could be better (but is definitely passable) and it could be better kept but if that were the case they wouldn't be hosting the kind of great bands that play here for €15 or so... or a weekend mini-festival for €30.

Great hotel in a great location to visit Dublin. Breakfast is good with a variety of options, mostly self service, except the cooked options which are provided at the counter. I have stayed here many times for work, and will do again.

If I could, I would give zero starts. I was really surprised by this because its not my first time there and I wanted it to be nice and easy, just drinks with friends and family. I booked the reservation on time, sent an email as instructed (never got the confirmation but what can I do about it?) It was for my Birthday, the girl came and took the table as they said that its reserved. As was mine. It was important that its outside because we all smoke. He told my mom to get up and leave, extremely rude, harsh with words and it looked like he enjoyed it, sick. When I came staff member was TOO RUDE, said that it doesn't matter that I called, then booked via email, and that there is nothing he can do. I did everything that is required, overall my birthday was more complicated by this, I had to go get drinks by myself, they switched the drinks so many times and I said that its not my drink and they made me pay either way. nobody ever came to ask what would we like to drink, its usually a place that I like to visit and have my drinks. It was more than UNPLEASANT service. I didn't want to call the manager because I'm above it. Did it ruin my birthday? Yes it did. Will I go again? No I wont. Will I recommend the place? Absolutely not. I dont know why it's so hard to be a decent human being and see what u can do about the reservation because I did everything I was told to do. To be honest I regret not talking to the manager because I think that this behavior is unacceptable (i worked in service industry for years before and I have to say I've never seen anyone so rude and bad at their job with the smile on his face the whole time) Absolutely disrespectful. He of course didn't want to tell me his name, not surprised. Overall experience 2/10 If u want a drink that u didn't order, to be disrespected by staff members, and pay for that whole experience, this is the right place for you.

The Bar With No Name: A Plea to Preserve Its Soul ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5 stars) After 8+ loyal years at The Bar With No Name, I'm disheartened by recent changes since Simone left and new management took over. This wasn't just another Dublin pub - its house-like décor, alternative atmosphere, and exceptional cocktail menu (especially that unforgettable passion fruit caipirinha) made it truly special. Today, I found my favorite cocktails gone from the menu. The staff kindly made our passion fruit caipirinha when requested, but its absence from the menu signals a concerning shift. This matters because unique offerings attract unique people. By standardizing the menu, you risk becoming just another pub that could exist on any Dublin corner, attracting generic crowds rather than the distinctive clientele that built your reputation. The Bar With No Name has always been the place I proudly showed visiting friends - "You won't find this anywhere else." That exclusivity is your strength, not something to discard. This isn't a complaint but heartfelt feedback: your bar's character was built through years of distinctive choices. Honoring that legacy while evolving is possible. Please don't sacrifice what made this place extraordinary - Dublin has enough ordinary pubs, but only one Bar With No Name that we've loved for nearly a decade.

My friends and I walked in and spent less than 15 minutes inside. Maybe it was the weekend that we came but it was overpacked and not really our vibe. Hopefully we’ll come back during a less crowded time. Albeit this was the weekend of the Vikings vs Steelers game.

The food and cocktails were good, the cocktails were a little pricey but also really yummy so I would recommend trying them out when you have the chance. The atomosphere is fun, they have some really nice decor and the different types of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar itself is tough to find on the road but the experience is great!
Sunshine22 — Google review
They definitely need a lot of maintenance. It’s not cleaned, and not sure why they just keep things like this. There was dust. Unfortunately, I wasn’t comfortable at all. The employees are friendly and the place is crowded usually just like the other bars nearby.

Up a flight of stairs is a tucked away bar with many sides. The first is a small dark room with some couches. The left side is outdoors with covered seating (still wet in certain parts) but cozy and tons of seating. Inside there's a large room with table and couch seating. This bar has a good vibe for chilling and hanging out. No loud music, peaceful. I got the no name cocktail for 15€ which was tasty but a quick drink. The egg whites created a fluff to the top.

This is my second stay at this hotel on the same trip and I’m blown away at how wonderful the front desk staff is. They are more than friendly and efficient, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Upon our first meeting, they handled six of us with varying needs to store luggage, secure tours, provide destination directions and more, and they were gracious, accommodating and proficient. And they even got us all water. Every we time we come and go (and return), they make us feel like we are home. We enjoyed a Gents afternoon tea for the first time. It was great we could pick our favourite beer option for it. The afternoon tea was very nice and filling for the cost of it. I would just not that, although I'm not very picky with the meat's temperature, it could be a nice touch to do it to the clients preference as my husband prefers burgers and steak a lot less cooked. Nonetheless, he ate all the food and especially enjoyed the sausage. On my side, I am not a huge dessert person, but both were very nice and I enjoyed them a lot. Kind thank you to the two lovely ladies that looked after us - they were very kind, attentive and cheerful.

So glad we chose the Morrison for our Dublin stay. Central but quiet location, clean, modern rooms, very pleasant decor. Plentiful breakfast and hot breakfast-pancakes, Irish breakfast, can be ordered plus rolls, croissants, fruits etc. Also a wonderful restaurant with locally sourced products (see map) and a wide selection. The grass-fed beef is excellent. Only negative-the noise level in the restaurant as it shares the space with the bar. All the staff is attentive and pleasant. The restaurant manager was extraordinary and personable, we talked with him and it turned out he was the hotel Manager, Mr. Rooney, covering for the restaurant manager. Well, kudos to him as he runs a very smooth operation. Don’t think twice about choosing the Morrison.

The Morrison Hotel’s Quay 14 bar is a real gem along the Liffey. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels both stylish and welcoming. The interiors are modern yet comfortable, with a great balance of buzz and calm. The drinks are excellent – beautifully crafted cocktails with real attention to detail, and a great wine and whiskey selection too. The staff at Quay 14 are outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely professional, creating a level of service that feels personal every time. The presentation of the food and drinks is superb, with a level of finesse that really elevates the experience. The espresso in particular deserves a mention – rich, perfectly balanced, and served with real care. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a casual afternoon coffee, pre-dinner drinks, or a late-night cocktail with friends. The views out onto the river add to the charm, and the whole vibe feels a cut above many city-centre bars. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mix of sophistication and relaxed Irish hospitality.

I guess we found our hotel in Dublin. We loved our stay at the Morrisson! Our room had a side view of the river and the amenities were just right. The hotel is literally next door to the parking, which offers a special rate for hotel guests. Location is not just good, but excellent! Lots of cafes and shops, short walk to all those touristic streets. I thought the rooms were way nicer than the pictures on the website. They have a hydration station by the restrooms downstairs and provide a nice glass bottle daily in the room. To complete my review, I need to praise the staff. They were extremely nice! On the last day, after checking out, we're hanging on the lobby waiting for the parking garage to open (we had an early flight), the manager came by and offered/served us coffee. That was very convenient since everything was closed at 6 am. Well definitely go back for more 😀 Oh, the Morrisson Grill was our place to eat, lol. We found it delicious, so yes lunch and dinner and repeat. The girls were very nice and accommodating, so was the bar when there were no reservation or tables available. Enjoyed both, either by the window or at the bar, they made room for us and the food was delicious!!

Lovely hotel with premium service. Everything, from the check in to the check out is perfect. I stayed at the City Pod and it was an amazing room, beautifully decorated and 100% functional. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very polite. If you’re staying in a city pod, know that it is very noisy (I don’t know why), but it doesn’t take from the experience. Great location!

Such a lovely hotel and the young gals at the front desk are delightful. Although we only had one night here, we would definitely come back and stay here. The public spaces were very nice. The room was well appointed and little details like multiple hooks in the bathroom were so appreciated. There could have been a little more light (from fixtures) in the room as it was a little hard to see what we were packing but all in all, a lovely place to stay. We will be back!

Very comfortable stay! Location is great, and what really made the stay was the staff. The gentlemen at reception especially, and the porter, very welcoming and offered us complimentary breakfast too which was brilliant! The waiter at the restaurant was so friendly too, and breakfast was full of variety. As for the rooms, very comfortable and has the basic amenities you need. Comfortable beds and good space and spotless too. The only downside is the parking situation wasnt the most ideal, it would be handy to have closer parking and for less price and hassle instead of having to go every 24hrs to renew the ticket. But overall, great stay and will look forward to coming back again!

Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. A special shoutout to Daniel — he was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. We were staying for the Dublin City Marathon and had a few meals here, one with 13 of us. Gita was amazing as were most of the staff we met. The food was lovely, the staff were great, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were near the roadside on our first night and found it a little noisy, but once we mentioned it, we were moved straight away without any fuss. That level of customer service and the genuine effort to make things right isn’t something you find everywhere, these people are exceptional. The warmth and hospitality here really capture what Ireland is all about. A special word of thanks to Orla and Brandon, who looked after our every need and went above and beyond for us. We’ll certainly be back!

I stay in hotels every week in Dublin as part of my work. I discovered this place by accident and decided to give it a go. Very glad that I did. Staff are always very professional and would rival those of any of the 5 star establishments in Dublin. A particular shout out has to be given to Orla who always remembers my name and gives a friendly, swift and efficient check in. I also just witnessed her check in a large family in very impressive fluent sounding french. They also seemed very happy.

The most essential factor for any hotel is the quality of the rest it provides. The attractive lobby, spacious bedroom, and modern bathroom mean nothing if a guest can not sleep. Unfortunately, this was our recent experience. We had one night in Dublin before an early morning pickup for the airport. Our room faced Harcourt Street where a noisy and raucous street party kept us awake until well after 3am! At best we got 3 hours of sleep. Adding insult to injury, we learned that the source of the noise was a Halloween Party hosted by a nightclub associated with the Iveagh Garden itself. Hotel management should have known about the potential for disruption to guests and forewarned us or moved guests to the back of the hotel. Not once did the hotel apologize. That’s BAD service. If you stay, demand a room that doesn’t face Harcourt Street.

Great hotel experience with my stay. The hospitality was over and beyond. Everyone on the staff was great and willing to help. I want to give a big shout out to David W. He was truly a big help to me and my friends during our stay, from coming to our table during dinner to see if we needed anything , to talking to us at the bar or just coming up to us to see how our stay is. You got a great person working on your staff. Hope to get back to Ireland to see you again.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the suites and were happy with our stay overall. The beds were comfortable and shower nice and big. I kind of chuckle when its advertised as a “view of the church” when in fact all you can see is the tip of the steeple… you see more of the hotel ledge and street below than the church. With this said, im not really spending time looking out my window anyways. The breakfast was decent, staff in restaurant were attentive and pleasant and breakfast service was quick. The only thing I’d complain about is the parking situation… the car park has very minimal spots available and it is extremely tight, so much so I could not open the back door of the car without hitting the post. There’s also a ridiculously high cost to park here so be warned if you have a rental vehicle. All said, we had a fantastic stay and can’t say enough good things about the wonderful front desk staff, maids, and restaurant servers... great customer service! I do feel with the added parking cost on top of the already costly room it made for an expensive stay but nonetheless, a great one! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central place in Dublin close to major attractions. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

We have been staying here the past two nights. This is a beautiful hotel, the room and beds are perfect. We have eaten breakfast here twice and have had wonderful service and delicious food each time each time, both off the continental and the regular menu. We had drinks and a snack in the lounge area the first night and had dinner in the restaurant area the second night. There was live music in the lobby that could be heard in both areas reach time, a singer and guitar player, just the right volume to be relaxing but you could still have a conversation. Mia was our waitress both nights, we were exhausted from our flight and touring the first night, and she was very pleasant and kind, and patient with our questions. Our drinks that first night were wonderful, I had an Irish coffee and my husband had an Old Fashioned. The location of this hotel is great, it's less than a block to St. Patrick's Cathedral and an easy 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here in September 2025. We loved it here! The location is perfect. We were able to walk to a lot of places. The service was outstanding! Staff is so friendly and helpful. We had cocktails in the bar area several times and the cocktails were very tasty! Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. If we come back to Dublin, we will definitely stay here!

We recently returned from a scenic drive in our rental car to the Cliff of Howth. We stopped at a local bar where Muhammed Enes Orel kindly offered us a refreshing drink, which rekindled my wife’s affection for me. Driving here is an exhilarating experience, and the staff is exceptional. Situated in the heart of Dublin, the bar is just a short walk from some of the city’s most captivating attractions. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are modern/contemporary, making it an ideal place to stay. I highly recommend visiting this bar if you’ve never been before!

Abdul, David and David were so accommodating and provided us excellent service! Our trip was absolutely fantastic and to come home to the Hyatt Centric each night was the highlight of our evening. Comfortable bedding, clean rooms, delicious breakfast (Jane) and entertaining bar in the evening, we will return ❤️

We had such a wonderful time! Abdul should be promoted to president of operations globally!! ! David W…, well…..lol he should promoted to operations director (wherever he ends up at…but he has to ease up on the pizza regulations). David (from Nigeria..,didn’t get his last name) should take over David W’s current position (for now… he’s an entertainer!). And Jane, well she should run for local office! She is just that good!!! She knows her stuff!!! And Alex (from Romania) he needs a promotion as well. He made us feel so welcomed! These five individuals (especially Abdul) have made our first experience in Dublin surpass our maximum expectations! If I could give each one of these individuals a 15-Star review, I would. It stinks that I can only provide a 5-Star review! And you both (you know who you are) better come to Ohio soon!!! I shed tears hugging Abdul. Will do the same when I get to talk to David W on Wednesday! Brian & Sherry Lusardi.

Aloft Dublin City is a trendy and casual hotel located in the heart of the Liberties. The top floor offers stunning panoramic views of the city, including local rooftops, distilleries, and the Dublin Mountains. Guests can enjoy an Irish G&T at the bar or play pool while taking in the neighborhood scenery. The modern rooms feature local artwork and large windows, with some offering breathtaking city views. The hotel also boasts a rooftop bar with fabulous city vistas.
Really fantastic experience overall. The location was so close to every major attraction we wanted to see in Dublin. While the Marriott automatic system rejected my upgrade request, the front desk staff immediately offered me an upgrade for my status level and allowed us to check in many hours early, which is always such a bonus when getting off a long haul flight. Our room was massive and while it was just above street level, we never once heard outside noise. The breakfast buffet (included for Titanium members) was really fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. Everyone we spoke to was so kind and truly invested in making sure it was a perfect experience.

Excellent hotel. Modern, clean, with helpful staff. The room was sizable for 1-2 people. The bed was comfy. The breakfast selections were impressive and delicious (I especially enjoyed the smoothie in the little jars)! The only negative is the half open shower, which soaked the bath mat/towel/floor, and needlessly made a mess of the floor. Why anyone thinks this is an acceptable design is beyond me.

This is a magical spot - nested in the Liberties (a very cool area of Dublin and full of history!), this hotel is modern and a breath of fresh air. The staff is super friendly, the room was really spacious and the food... WOW, just delicious. On the 7th floor, they have a fab bar where you can catch up with friends or simply work from one of their comfy sofas while enjoying a drink / treat. I loved it very much and will be back as soon as possible - 10/10!

Aloft Dublin City was a great choice for our Anniversary Trip Oct 8-15, 2025. Great location on a quite street and close to attractions, restaurants, Hop On Hop off bus stop, convenient stores etc. The hotel is very clean and maintained very well. Daily water and a small fridge that has some space for personal use. The onsite restaurant was very good with the best Old Fashion cocktail ever! The bartenders at the restaurant and the rooftop bar were all great. The fitness room is small but just enough for a daily workout. The concierge Amadou was amazing. He helped us plan all excursions and gave great tips on restaurants and was very attentive to all details.I highly recommend this hotel. There is also an iron/ironing board in room and washer and dryer onsite with laundry detergent for only 2 euros.

We stayed for a week, combining business with a vacation. The staff was fantastic. We arrived on the morning of the Dublin marathon and the hotel was fully booked. We found out that they had sold our room, but Ana, the assistant manager, quickly fixed the problem. The room was comfortable although I would request a higher floor the next time to get more natural light. The area is very quiet, which is a big plus compared to many other hotels in Dublin.

Excellent location if you are looking to stay within a walking distance to all major city attractions and sights. We have travelled across the country for 7days and this was our last hotel stay before leaving Ireland. By far the most welcoming check in process! From a friendly valet stuff to very efficient and welcoming check in process, we had a great experience at Aloft. Vanessa at front desk was fabulous! We had unique requests & 2 rooms, and Vanessa went above and beyond to accommodate us. Not only Vanessa was very knowledgeable and professional, she also made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Rooms were clean and cozy, breakfast was fresh and delicious, stuff was very polite and attentive to our needs. Great place to stay in Dublin and amazing views from the roof top terrace!

Wren Urban Nest is a stylish and modern hotel located near Dublin's popular Temple Bar. The chic, Scandinavian-inspired rooms offer comfortable double beds, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. The hotel stands out for its quality vegan breakfast featuring peanut rayu-laced scrambled tofu and gourmet charcuterie board with artisan Irish cheeses. The atmosphere is described as beautiful and perfect for a quiet night out or a date due to soft lighting and pleasant music.
Wren Urban Nest Dublin Hotel offers a very clean, small, and cosy room that feels comfortable and well-maintained. The room comes fully equipped with great amenities including a coffee machine, ironing board, TV, and more, making your stay convenient. The shower has good water pressure, which is a definite plus. The hotel’s location is excellent—right next to the city centre and just a 5-minute walk to catch the airport coach, making transport hassle-free. While the breakfast provided is decent, it is quite expensive, so I recommend exploring nearby spots outside the hotel for more affordable options. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.

I had a great 2 night stay here. The room was small but high spec.& relative new. The bed was nice & comfy. I had a good, quiet night's sleep. Sound insulation is of high standard. I enjoyed refilling my water bottle from the communal water stations which are on each floor. The breakfast was good with a good selection including hot Irish breakfast, tasty coffee & some gluten free options. Service was good throughout my stay. The location is superb within level spitting distance of all sights, services & facilities.

The service was good and the location great. The rooms however, as others said, are tiny, really tiny. Certainly not made for more than one person and no room for a large suitcase if you have one. For an overnight stay by myself it worked OK. The value for money is however very poor. I have to think there are larger rooms in the same area for the euro 240 I paid for the night. This is ashame as the service was good and they were able to accommodate an early check-in.

Me and my fiancé spent our first two days in Dublin on our Ireland trip and Wren Cosy Nest Room was a great place to stay! The location was awesome in Temple Bar with so much walking access to surrounding areas! We also added the breakfast to our stay which was so helpful for saving time and was SO good and had awesome service. I'd agree with some people in the reviews saying the room was small but since we were prepared for that and stayed organized I honestly enjoyed it, it was very cozy for 2 people. I also enjoyed the sense of security and eco-friendliness that we experienced here as well! A negative we experienced while there was in our room the shower was in a separate room from the toilet (which was a little weird...) and the shower would leek out of the basin even with the door closed so be aware!

A friend and I travelled to Dublin and the hotel was the best experience for staying inside the Temple Bar neighborhood. It was inside it's own quite alley away from the noise, but just blocks away from joining in the shopping & restaurants! It was incredible clean, we loved the environmental efforts it was making, and the staff were fantastic! The brunch was an epic spread we wish we'd had the time and stomachs for more than once. I would stay there again in a hearbeat!
Megan B — Google review
Unbeatable location! Close to everything, but tucked away on a quiet alley so you don't hear the festivities. Rooms are small, but exceedingly well designed, so they feel larger than they actually are. A water closet, with a sink, and a separate shower room allow 2 people to get ready at once. The bed is tucked against the wall so people who get up frequently at night may want to sleep on the outside. There is a safe drawer & storage under the bed. A hanger unit, with fridge underneath, & a pull down desk, with ample outlets, and a large screen tv, hung at the foot of the bed give you everything you need for a comfy stay.
Lesa C — Google review
Beautiful and so so comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. I took the Dublin Express bus from the airport and it's a short walk to the hotel. Check in was friendly and easy, and directions and information about the hotel were perfect. The room itself is very nice, clean, comfortable, and there are plenty of plugs and outlets. I added breakfast for the first morning and it was excellent!! I highly recommend and if I find myself in Dublin again I will come back.

A fabulous find: a slick, sleek, ultramodern space, tucked away in a surprisingly quiet spot in center-city Dublin. Rooms are snug, but perfectly furnished and ideal for the solo traveler. The venue offers Asian cuisine and impressive cocktails, with a rooftop bar providing additional charm. Lovely venue across 3 floors. Food menu is great and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Rooftop bar on the top floor is great if you are into drinks, and the cocktail bar on the 2nd floor is perfect for food and drinks. Live DJ music on the rooftop bar. Looking forward to returning.

Arrived and was seated right away. Water given to every table straight away free of charge. Menu was perfectly sized, not too many options. Food portions were huge and delicious. The nachos were my favourite part. Cocktail was flavourful and the Rockshore Cider was full of life. I would HIGHLY recommend Hyde to anyone.

We hosted a corporate event at Hyde and it exceeded our expectations. Our event was held in The Cocktail Bar on the second floor, which was also ideal for our panel and spokespeople. The canapés were excellent and staff were very attentive. Fabiana was particularly helpful and assisted with the booking, logistics and last minute requirements. I would strongly recommend Hyde for similar events and plan to run another even there in the future. Niall

We had the pleasure of dining at Hyde Restaurant in Dublin, located at 9 Lemon Street, Dublin 2, nestled between Grafton and Dawson Streets. This contemporary European venue spans three floors, offering a vibrant ambiance across its Lobby Bar, Cocktail Bar, Rooftop Garden, Rooftop Terrace, and SEEK lounge. The menu showcases modern Irish cuisine with seasonal produce and precise techniques. Standout dishes include the bone marrow with peanut chilli crunch and the kombu-cured salmon with radish and soy gel. Hyde’s stylish setting, combined with its eclectic music and rooftop views, creates an all-encompassing experience perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re seeking a romantic dinner or a lively night out, Hyde delivers on all fronts.

I had the best dining experience in Dublin at Hyde! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. But what truly made my night unforgettable was the outstanding service. A huge shoutout to Rebeca, Laila, and Maria — they were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. They made me feel so welcome and cared for throughout the entire evening. Their warm energy and attention to detail made all the difference. Honestly, this was my favorite experience in Dublin, and I would come back in a heartbeat — not just for the food, but for the amazing team that made it so special. 💖

This is the second time I've eaten at Hyde and I'm simply obsessed with the chicken kiev, when you cut the buttery chicken and eat it with creamed corn and green beans... my belly has never been so happy, Hyde's food is wonderful, I want to go back tomorrow to eat it again! Extra points for Samanta, Fiorela and Rebeca :)

Very disappointed with our first visit to Hyde. First of all the restaurant was pretty empty for a Saturday evening so there was no atmosphere. The venue itself is designed nicely and it is modern. I thought the menu would have more choice. Myself and my guest ordered two cheeseburgers from the main. Since the menu stated it was just the burger we decided to order a truffle fries to share. I asked the waitress for my drinks to come with the food but she obviously wasn't listening as she brought the drinks straight over. We then waited awhile for the food to come out. It was only then we found out the burger comes with a big bowl of fries. This is not stated anywhere on the menu and it would have been common sense for the waitress to tell us this before we ordered the extra fries. We expressed this to the person who served us the food but nothing came from this. So now we had three large bowls of fries and I ended up not even touching my bowl. The burger was okay but even there was no extra touches to the expensive dish in terms of presentation. Service was poor and nobody checked on us until we needed the bill. The waiter asked how everything was and we explained we were disappointed with the fries situation and that I haven't eaten any from my plate. He then said he would give me a box to take them away which was pointless as they were now cold. We wanted to leave immediately but were left waiting for ages for the bill we requested. The waiter we requested it from was just going around doing other things so he obviously forgot about us. We then had to go up to the bar ourselves to the bar to get our bill and pay. The girl at the till automatically added on a 10% tip to our bill. I asked was it mandatory to which she said in a rude manner that she can remove it then since we are not happy with the service. I responded and said the service was very poor and we also had issues with our food order. She didn't care about what we had experienced. Overall bad visit.

Fidelity Bar, located in Dublin, originated from The Big Romance and Whiplash brewery's collaboration for the Fidelity beer festival. This craft beer haven opened its doors in 2023, offering a sleek space with rotating DJs that was previously occupied by Dice Bar. The bar features a dozen temperature-controlled taps showcasing a variety of beers from Whiplash, including their popular Body Riddle Pale Ale and Never Cursed Grisette-style small beer.
We stopped in after a show I the Bord Gais for food and some drinks. I had heard a bit about this place but not enough detail to know what to expect. We were blown away by everything about Fidelity, from the initial atmosphere at 7pm on a Saturday evening to the extensive choice of drinks and the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Especially the lovely Iza who looked after us so politely and warmly in the restaurant and Dylan who looked after us in the bar beforehand and was very thoughtful with his drinks recommendations. Well, let me tell you we sampled a lot of cocktails and food which was a wonderful journey of delightful drinks and amazing tapas like food. The place itself stands in a slightly run down part of Dublin but when you step inside you could be in trendy London or bustling NYC. We found the prices very reasonable for the experience you got and a city centre bar. Do yourself a huge favour and pencil a date in your diary for a visit to Fidelity with friends or a loved one, I promise you will not be disappointed with anything the night will bring you.

Ive been to Fidelity twice now for dinner and cocktails and both times its been fantastic. Staff are really helpful at advising what to order and the food is tasty and interesting, a really good modern Asian tapas menu. Cocktails are excellent. Only reason I’ve given 4 stars is it can be a bit pricy, so more a special occasion option, but very much worth it nonetheless

My 3rd visit to Fidelity :) I like the vibe still. They really hv to do sth about the oil they use for deep frying … also splitting the bill to 2 cannot be a big deal imo but still loved the cocktails & Enoki mushroom 😌 This was my 2nd visit to this bar restaurant. I love the vibe & friendly staff, cool interior, nice food & nicer cocktails. The food is tasty & we tried many of them but some of them are quite greasy so we won’t go for them next time!

Trinity College Dublin, a 19-hectare university with stunning Georgian buildings, is renowned for its humanities, science, and medical programs. The campus is home to the national treasure of Ireland, the Book of Kells, which can be fully appreciated with an audio guide. Visitors can also explore the library gallery, famous for being a filming location in Harry Potter movies, and view the oldest harp in Ireland.
Beautiful place to visit! Trinity College is full of history and stunning architecture. It's worth taking the guided tour, it's well worth it. Students currently studying there talk about the university, it's very entertaining and educational. Lara was a really professional guide, 5 stars for her. 😜😘 In addition to the basics, you can also learn about university life.

Trinity College is truly a beautiful and inspiring place. The historic architecture, especially the famous library, is breathtaking and full of character—it feels like stepping back in time. The campus is very well maintained, with plenty of open green spaces to relax or study.

Beautiful buildings and the park is well maintained. We had no chance to buy tickets for the Book of Kells Experience on site (it is recommended to buy in advance if anyone is interested in seeing the Library's famous Long Room!), but the buildings were still worth walking around. The gift shop is pretty much like anywhere else, but we saw at least two coffee trucks, so there's something to sip on while you walk. (I can't even imagine what it must be like to see so many tourists wandering around here with the students' eyes — while you're rushing to class, they're just shuffling in front of you to try to make the perfect photo. :D)

Trinity College Dublin is breathtakingly beautiful, like walking through a living piece of history. The grand stone buildings and elegant courtyards create a calm, timeless atmosphere. Its famous Library, with towering wooden shelves, is a must-see for anyone visiting Dublin. Even a casual stroll across the cobbled squares feels special and serene. A place where classic architecture and lush green lawns make every visit memorable.
Ajay S — Google review
It’s very touristy and crowded. The library would have been really cool to see but it’s so busy that it was sold out by the time we got there in the afternoon. It’s nice to walk around the main courtyard area but honestly overhyped as an attraction. If you like history and can get into the library it would definitely be worth checking out though.
Tyler C — Google review
It's one of the world's leading universities. The campus is so vast and beautiful. It's impossible not to dream of studying here. I think the only downside is that anyone can easily get in. Other than that, I loved the library. It has an incredibly charming atmosphere.
Kenya İ — Google review
With its wealth of beautiful Georgian buildings, ample park spaces, and venerable old library, Trinity College is simply gorgeous. We were fortunate to see the campus bathed in sunlight on the Sunday in September that we stopped in for the Book of Kells Experience. Since the wait time before we could go into the library and see the Book of Kells was fairly long, we had the opportunity to walk into the college chapel and hear the choir rehearsing for the morning Eucharist, and then to sit on benches in the sun and enjoy the beauty all around us. Trinity is a must-see place if you're touring Dublin.

Whenever you come from, the bravery and resilience of Irish people, their love for their country, their unwavering fight for their identity and independence, will definitely leave a profound impact on you. PS. Once you buy the ticket, you can visit the museum twice within 10 days. This was a great offer to use!

EPIC is a good to go museum. The interactive displays bring Irish history and emigration stories to life in such a modern and engaging way. I loved the passport stamping as you move through the galleries, and the mix of personal stories with global impact is really powerful. It’s not a traditional museum with artefacts, that makes it even more unique.

Wow! It was so good! We did the reduced price last hour and it was lovely. Quiet so we could trot through galleries at our own leisure. Staff was lovely. Thoughtfully done: well paced so it doesn’t drag or overwhelm you with information. it was perfectly balanced and for the price, so worth it! Definitely recommend it

WOW. EPIC (and the Jeanie Johnston) blew me away. I've been twice because it's so well done. The interactive nature of the museum is really engaging and fantastic for any age. I was most recently there a few days before Halloween when they had a dramatic Dracula presentation for the kids who could be heard giggling and shouting "this is so fun!" as they chased him down the hall. EPIC is unique in its ability to expertly tell the Irish story from many different angles - history over the centuries, personal stories sprinkled throughout the broader context, film and music to sports, politics, and pub culture. They use nearly every sense, with video, audio, touch screens, interactive sets, and a passport you can use to track your journey. Make time for a couple of hours here. You're going to love it! BONUS: They have a genealogy centre which you can access separately at the end. AND the ticket is good for more than just the day you visit - where does that ever happen?!

The museum is amazing; it was a very pleasant and interactive visit. From the beginning, you learn a lot about the history and culture of Ireland, which I find captivating and fascinating. I totally recommend visiting this museum.

A wonderful and deeply moving museum. It vividly shows the difficult journey of the Irish people — their history, emigration, and remarkable individuals — brought to life with impressive digital technology. I especially loved the “passport” with stamps you collect in each room — a fun souvenir for both teenagers and adults. I’ll definitely return, as one visit wasn’t enough to see everything!

The EPIC Irish emigration museum is a MUST SEE if you are traveling to Dublin. This place tells a story that is different from everyone else in Dublin or all of Ireland because they tell the incredible story of the Irish people who left their home and made their mark on the rest of the world. The impact that Irish have made through emigration is simply amazing!!! This place tells the story!. I cannot recommend it enough. Note: when you visit the EPIC, be sure to purchase the complimentary ticket to tour the historic sailing ship that is docked nearby. The ship took many people on their journey out of Ireland to other lands.

Irish pub
O'Neills Pub & Kitchen is a historic venue located in Dublin, with a layout that includes a rooftop beer garden and antique fittings. The pub has been licensed for over 300 years and is situated near the Temple Bar Cultural Quarter and Trinity College. It prides itself on serving high-quality traditional Irish food and drink in a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes such as the full Irish breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients.
We visited the pub on a sunny Sunday around 5:30 PM, and there were still plenty of free tables. Inside, it’s quite dark but very cozy and inviting. We ordered two beers with our food. The Shepherd’s Pie (€18.25) was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Some of the meat was nicely seared and crispy — for me, it was the best Shepherd’s Pie I’ve ever had. The Beef Stew with Guinness (€18.25) had a rich, hearty flavor. As a small side, it came with very tasty green beans and carrots, along with a few potatoes. The stew also had large chunks of carrot and celery, which added a unique and wonderful flavor. It was served with a side of bread and butter. The toilets were clean, and the staff was very kind and friendly. If we’re ever in Dublin again, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Love the old school pub vibe here. Amazing food! We had cottage pie, potato and leek soup, the number nine pizza, and the spicy nachos. All were delicious and huge portions. You just walk in, find a table, and order food at the bar. We went Tuesday night at 7:30 and found lots of open tables and seating.

This pub was recommended on the internet, and it was good. You order at the bar, and they bring you the food. They have a great variety of drinks and the food was delicious. Would recommend! They also have live music in the evening, but we didn‘t stay for that.

Our first meal in Dublin (lunch) and it was amazing! We had Irish stew, Guinness stew, tomato soup, and cottage pie. All were very tasty. It's self service was rather easy and nice. Order at the bar and get a # to put on the table. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times on my trip to Dublin. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. Ray and Usain are great guys who made me feel comfortable and welcome the whole time….just don’t try to show them pictures of waterfalls ;)

We came to this place looking for traditional Irish fare and boy o boy did they not disappoint. It’s open tables and order at bar. We ordered the Beef nachos, cottage pie and beef casserole. Everything was amazing with great flavor. If you are in Dublin, do drop by and you would relish the food.
Priya G — Google review
Just your typical trad Irish pub. Traditional Irish stew was basically an unseasoned sopa de res, nothing spectacular. Corned beef Ruben was definitely better of the 2. Perhaps if you’re going at a livelier time & order more drinks than we did it will be better
Holly K — Google review
The service was great. I had a grilled chicken Ceasars salad that had bacon in it which was different but actually good. The other burgers we ordered were also delicious. The atmosphere was fun in the lower bar. If you want a quieter place to talk go to an upper level. There are many floors with steps to use the bathroom so that may be an issue for some. The guy that played the guitar was amazing and had our bunch of girls singing and dancing all night. I would definitely go here again!

Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin is a vibrant, rock 'n' roll-themed chain that offers a high-energy atmosphere and serves up classic American dishes like burgers. The Hard Rock Hotel also features the stunning Rock Star Suites rooftop terrace, perfect for exclusive corporate events with its 360-degree panoramic views of the city and outdoor lounge area. The hotel itself boasts musical memorabilia in the lobby and offers cool amenities like turntables and guitars to borrow for an extra touch of rockstar experience during your stay.
We like to visit Hard Rock Cafe restaurants when we travel to new cities. My children are autistic so the familiar feel no matter where we are provides a comfortable atmosphere for them. We also know they have safe food on the Hard Rock menu - both for their autism-related restricted diets and for my daughters milk allergy. The Hard Rock in Dublin is an interesting layout, offering a ramped area for those in wheelchairs or pushchairs (or a disability pushchair like in our case). There are many different seating arrangements- we had a round table for 5 of us, but they can seat more people. The staff were incredibly attentive, checking on us more than once. The food was delicious, and my daughter especially enjoyed dancing to the music. We went on a Friday at lunch time and there were plenty of empty tables.

We had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin and the experience was absolutely outstanding. The service was excellent—our servers were not only attentive but also genuinely funny, social, and happy to engage in a friendly chat. It created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The vibe of the place is fantastic: lively, cozy, and filled with great music that adds to the overall experience. The food portions were generous, and everything we tried was delicious. The desserts were also a highlight—truly worth saving room for! What really stood out to us was how much the staff seemed to genuinely care about their guests. They were friendly, interested, and made us feel like valued customers rather than just another table. That personal touch made the evening feel special. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere, I can’t recommend this Hard Rock Cafe enough. It’s the kind of place you want to return to again and again—and I definitely would.

The Hard Rock restaurant is an iconic place where we can see the washed-up clothes of retired or no longer performing rock stars 😂. Of course, this gives the place a unique atmosphere! The service is very good; the staff is friendly and quick! The food reflects the traits of American restaurant chains, meaning that often, people pay more for the ambiance and decor rather than the food itself. I'm not saying the food isn't good, but in terms of value for money, the prices are a bit high! For those guests who love Messi, I have good news: almost every picture on the menu features his wonderful face, trying to sell us the burger that bears his name 😂.

This is a classic restaurant. Americans love it because the burgers and fries are good regardless of the country you’re in. The nachos are amazing as are the salads. The vibe in the atmosphere is pretty amazing. Yuri was our server and was amazing.

The Hairy Lemon is a unique and unconventional pub in Dublin, known for its connection to the film 'The Commitments' and its extensive collection of memorabilia adorning the walls. The pub is named after a legendary Dublin character who was said to have a lemon-shaped expression with some stubble. It has become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, especially after exploring nearby attractions like St. Stephens Green or Grafton Street.

Was here on a Tuesday evening and was surprised to see it completely packed with crowd. Finger food was absolutely delicious and the vibes were pretty decent. The pub often hosts traditional Irish music sessions and shows major sporting events—from rugby and GAA to soccer and golf, making it a lively hangout.

The atmosphere is very nice, warm and welcoming! We had the mini Irish breakfast and the eggs Benedict. With any breakfast you have filtered coffee or tea with included. -the Irish breakfast was only ok. There are better Irish breakfast in other pubs to be honest. -the eggs Benedict was AWFUL. The poached eggs were both fully cooked. And the sauce just by looking at the colour and texture you feel disappointed and then disgusted. The sauce was literally too thick, too buttery and too much mayonnaise. This with the combination of coffee it made me sick 💩 I’d still recommend to go there for a drink but definitely not the food.

Lively place. Very Busy. It took a while to get our order in, and our food. But when drinks and dinner did arrive...Quite good. The Guinness Beef Stew w/ puff pastry crust was excellent. (Teeling) Old Fashioneds were solid as well. Multi-level place. Get up and a window seat (overlooking the street) if you can.

I found the Hairy Lemon! 🍋 The most unconventional pub in Dublin. It’s a riot of memorabilia (High Nellies! Wellies! The Shelbourne Hotel – Exceptional Service & Timeless Elegance We recently hosted an event at The Shelbourne Hotel, and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our gathering a time to remember. The hotel itself is stunning—elegant yet welcoming, with a classic charm that sets the perfect tone for any occasion. Staff are welcoming and attentive. Overall memorable and Awesome stay with The Shelbourne!

The Shelbourne is the definition of classic European luxury. From the moment you step inside, it carries that “old money, wealth whispers” vibe—sophisticated, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. The restaurants and bar are fantastic, the accommodations immaculate, and the entire property feels like a true landmark. The location couldn’t be better—everything we wanted to see in Dublin was within walking distance, and the staff were always ready to guide us with warmth and professionalism. This is a hotel that upholds the European five-star standard, which frankly feels closer to seven stars by American comparison. The horseshoe bar is an absolute must - and Michael will craft you a whisky sour that will ruin every pub in town! Such a special add to the experience! If you want the real Dublin luxury experience, this is it.

3Arena is genuinely an impressive place! A few months ago I went to see my favorite singer/Artist, Tyler, The Creator! The show was SO SO SO amazing and the seats i was in were top tier low-key! The staff were also great and gave me directions to my seat and i easily found it! Loved it so much!

I really like this venue for live music. It's big enough to host some great shows, but small enough that pretty much any seat offers a great view of the stage.

Had been here for Pitbull concert. Staff were helpful and polite, food and drink were averaged price, toilets were decent. Overall good experience. People tend to often get drunk but staff handles it well so it's grand. It's an indoor venue so that's a plus as well.
Natasha D — Google review
Visited last week to see Tate Mcrae, we were standing relatively close to the front and the view was great. The staff and security were friendly and professional. They made sure to hand out cups of water to everyone in the crowd as it was fairly hot in the venue. The prices are what you'd expect at a venue in Dublin so can't really complain. The amenities were clean and tidy. We didn't have any issues and had a really enjoyable night.
Ella R — Google review
On the positive side, I’d like to note the convenient layout of the hall, even from the upper seats, everything is easy to see. However, it often gets very hot inside, and my friends have complained about the same issue. I understand that a large number of people gather there, but that doesn’t change the fact that the ventilation is poor. At summer events, this becomes a serious problem.
Anastasia G — Google review
Would like to say thank you to the security and event staff at the three arena. They looked after my partner who is disabled and made them have a great time. From the directions to the help passed across it was second to none. Maybe other arenas like the co op live could learn from them. Clean all round and reasonable prices with a very friendly atmosphere and a decent sized venue. 10 out of 10 guys 💚

Best concert experience for a venue ever. They are the gold standard by far. They organized and calmly walked us to the stage , where everyone was able to get to their desired spots with ease. They seeked out the crowd with cups of water to make sure everyone was well hydrated, and showed everyone the upmost respect and courtesy. I’ve been to 100’s of shows around the world , and 3arena is top tier.

Pub
The Palace Bar, located on Fleet Street in Temple Bar, is a Victorian-era establishment that recently celebrated its 200th birthday. Originally a Georgian building, it underwent a Victorian makeover and became popular in the 20th century as a gathering place for Dublin's literary community. Renowned writers such as Flann O'Brien, Patrick Kavanagh, and Brendan Behan frequented the bar.
It's been a long while (years)since I've stumbled upon this traditional Irish pub. The atmosphere was quite, as it was not busy... everything I would have imagined. what was very cool was the mirror partitions that separated the bar stools & just sitting between them taking in the history with a pint.. The bartender that served me is still in some of the current photo's I see on line, so judging from that I'm guessing the palace bar is very while grounded with tradition. I wouldn't miss this place if I were you.

Lovely pub! Visited on a Thursday and Friday night during my holiday in Dublin. Thursday was a nice atmosphere, lively but not overly loud, generally older crowd, mostly irish with a few tourists (like us). Friday was busy but still had seating available upstairs, many people stood outside drinking. Big selection of whiskeys, good beers, a helpful staff.
Shaun R — Google review
It's what you'd expect out of a pub. I asked locals and did research on where I could have the best pint of Guinness, as I frequently drink it, I was not disappointed, this was definitely the best pint of Guinness I've ever had. Their Guinness is rather easy to drink and more on the smooth side than the creamy side, depends on what you like, but this was perfect for us. The Bulmers off the tap was also excellent, it had kept its fizz quite well, as they're usually served via bottle. The barmen were fast and on point, no bullshit, just drinks.

We saw the notice saying live trad music on a Sunday night abs since it was Sunday we went up. The guinness was great, the irish coffee too. But the music was fabulous. As the evening went on musicians kept arriving. The music was good traditional music not fake tourist come-all-ye's.

I have been to Dublin many times. It's generally a warm, welcoming place. During this last visit, I noticed a shift. Bar staff doesn't want to engage or answer questions about the history of the establishment or even smile at customers. There just isn't the feel there used to be. The Palace Bar is one of the few places this was not true. The bartenders were warm and the bar itself is absolutely beautiful. The clientele was relaxed and happy. It retains its good feel.

I absolutely love this hotel! First time in Dublin and stayed here 4 nights, wish I could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect, location, rooms, staff. Everything is walking distance, temple bar, pubs, shopping streets, etc. The restaurant was beautiful and cozy, and the food was amazing as well! I also want to comment on the wonderful staff, I have never been treated in such as a special manner anywhere before, they truly made my first time in Ireland a trip I will never forget! Bruno at the lobby front desk was absolutely wonderful! He was so kind, helpful, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and happy the whole time. His professionalism combined with his warm personality truly made our visit so much better. We had an excellent experience at the restaurant thanks to our server Saiful! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. He really went above and beyond to make us feel well taken care of. Truly outstanding service! And Robert our server from the bar, so kind and attentive, he took excellent care of us at the bar, was so nice to talk to, and thanks to him we ended our evenings in a perfect way! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again for sure.

This hotel is GORGEOUS and the location cannot be beat. Easy walking to anywhere you want to go. The self check-in option was great as there were 2 guests in front of us. Our room was spotless. We were given earplugs due to the location, but they were never used. Room was quiet. Room was clean and well appointed. Happily used the robe and slippers. MOST OF ALL the staff was fabulous. Kind, helpful and always with a smile. Bruno at the front desk was great! One day he had to cover another staff member and was there 2 shifts in a row... not a hair out of place (seriously) and a smile as big as when his first shift started. We will be staying here again when we return to Dublin.

October 2025. Nice hotel in a very good location. A little bit loud but that is to be expected in this location because it is across the street from the Temple Bar area. We did enjoy it and the rooms were recently upgraded and clean. Of course any downtown hotel is going to be small, and this one was a bit small but it was cozy. Self check in was a breeze. Coffee maker was a Nespresso, so that was a plus. Breakfast was great.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to all of the attractions on our list. Breakfast was excellent. Knowing this was a noisy area we had requested a quiet room and we were put in a room on the 5th floor. We could barely hear any noise from the busy street. Our only complaint is that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. My partner is in a wheelchair and we were given an accessible room with no issues after contacting the hotel. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate. Bruno, one of the reception staff members was extremely helpful and nothing was too much to ask for. The hotel is completely accessible for a wheelchair. The breakfast was always perfect. Our room was spacious and well adapted for a wheelchair user. Right in the centre of Dublin with a minute walk to Temple Bar, and only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel had a beautiful smell and the cleanliness was excellent. Would 100% recommend staying here. We will hopefully get to visit again soon! Thank you ☺️

The Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts (RHA) is a contemporary-style gallery in Dublin that features Irish and international modern art. The building itself stands out with its modernist design, offering a striking contrast to its Georgian terrace neighbors. Although the original home of the academy was destroyed by fire during the 1916 rising, it has since become a vibrant art space near Stephen's Green and Merrion Square.
Great gallery with contemporary art :) Spacious and usually not very crowded, so can really enjoy it at your own pace. Exhibitions often change, meaning that almost every month you can find something interesting. Another plus that it’s free.

Excellent patronage by the Royals 🙇‍♂️ and Stunning displays of local artists 🧑‍🎨 across the street outside st Steven’s green. Lovely testimate to the trust and honesty of the Irish ☘️ scan QR codes to connect with the artists. Personally love the oils and mixed media, don’t have enough film to capture all the beauty! Favorite artist is Johnman Spraycan. Once I have a home I’ll add a few.

Came down from Armagh to see the Annual Exhibition. It was incredible. The variety and quality was exceptional. The exhibition is a free event that artwork can be seen over 2 floors. Catalogue is €20. As that has the prices of the artwork. I'm not sure where you would park if you took a car?
Arlene M — Google review
Visited this year's exhibition and it did not disappoint! It always fills me with delight, wonder and exasperation! Because if the huge eclectic range of art, photographs, pottery and constructions their is something for everyone! What may delight me may not move you and what seems like "emperor's new clothes" to me may be just what you like! Have a look at the photos I've taken and then go to the exhibition and find have your own wonderful and surprising experience! It's free and fun!

Always a pleasure to admire and appreciate the great exhibitions. Planned to take in a final day of one exhibit, and i did, before loosing myself in another. Wonderfully curated prints available and the staff were on hand and so helpful and informative. Also free. If you have the time, I'd also recommend Margadh for a bite.

I recommend this Gallery as a great set of spaces that easily permit one to replenish the soul. The location alone, just moments from busy roads, is surprisingly quiet, and unfussed. There is paid on road car parking nearby. Bicycle parking for up to 2 on solitary pole to right of entrance. Semi redundant bike parking on Bells Lane usually blocked by vehicles, but in a vulnerable hidden spot with little or no security.
Paul M — Google review
Small but a nice free art museum. I enjoyed my tour. Thank you!
Earthlings L — Google review
The design of the whole gallery is simple which is perfect as it doesn't overwhelm you with detailed floors and walls, it let's you focus on the art it's self. I've never been to a gallery like this

Tapped Late Bar, formerly known as Judge Roy Beans & Porterhouse Central, is a spacious and traditional pub located in the heart of Dublin. With its Grafton Street entrance, it boasts one of the largest selections of craft brews in town with over 50 taps on-site. The bar offers a funky and relaxed vibe with unique keg-style seating and vintage prints adorning the walls. In addition to their impressive beer selection, Tapped also serves comfort food and premium cocktails on tap.
Great place with a good atmosphere. They even have German Pilsner from tap. The variety of different beers available is just amazing. This bar is worth a visit. The food's nice too. I had the chicken bowl the other day.

Nice big fresh sandwich. Decent price. 10. Glass of wine expensive over 10.00 didn't look at the menu so my own fault. Large selection of beer. Service friendly but slow. Especially as always seem to be way to many staff to customer ratio. This visit place was quiet. But the place echoy due to furniture style.

Pleasant staff. Sat at the bar for a pint and some food. I had the satay mushroom bowl with tofu and my friend had the house salad with chicken. Both could have used more sauce/dressing. The poutine was excellent. Great place to watch sports.

We had a really good beef burger & chicken burger on a Friday afternoon. Great value, main, side & soft drink for €13.50!! There was a delay in getting our meal but it was handled very well by the staff. Definitely recommend
Anne M — Google review
The only reason I didn’t rate my food 5 stars, is because it was a bit too spicy. Other than that I was PLEASANTLY surprised! I’m usually a very picky eater because I’m scared of germs and new food but this place was awesome. It was clean, happy environment, and the food made me come out of my comfort zone to try. I got the California bagel with everything removed except avocado but when my food came out it had avocado and grilled chicken. BUT, it looked amazing and even though they were very apologetic and willing to make it again, I insisted that it was okay and I didn’t mind. And I’m so happy they accidentally put chicken on my bagel because it was absolutely spectacular!
Alice B — Google review
A good selectio nof beers, food is ok. Place obviously gets very busy on Friday nights. That being said it is in a great location and overall I would recommend at least for one pint. As the night progresses ove on to places with more atmosphere.

Amazing spot for gluten free options! They had TWO gf beers available on draught. Plus, an amazing gluten free burger! The music is cool and fun. The scene is joyous without being too ruckus. If you are gluten free and really miss the traditional burger and a beer - this is your new spot!

Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre is a modern hotel with a contemporary restaurant and bar, fitness center, and convenience store. Located near the Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre, it offers easy access to transportation hubs. The hotel provides stunning south-facing views of the River Liffey and is conveniently close to Dublin's 3Arena, making it an ideal choice for visitors attending live shows or concerts.
We traveled from our home in the USA and spent 8 days in Dublin and Cork. Five of those days were spent at the Hilton garden inn, Dublin City center. This is a terrific hotel for use as a base of your tourism of the Dublin area and surroundings. There is parking on site though I don't recommend it as Dublin is so easy to get around in! The hotel has a really good front desk staff and the restaurant is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. Rooms are comfortable. The hotel itself is facing the River Liffey and that has a really good location in the downtown center of the city. Every morning of our stay, we went down to the restaurant for a delicious breakfast buffet and then out the door and walked wherever we needed to go. I've been to Dublin before and stayed at other hotels and if I was going back this is definitely the hotel I would go to! An added plus is that the EPIC museum is right next door.

We were pretty underwhelmed by this hotel, especially after reading the reviews. We had also stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dublin City Centre earlier in the trip and would have much preferred that hotel. This Hilton Garden Inn, while was renovated, felt dated. The AC unit in the room turns off part way through the night so it can get to be quite warm. It is centrally located on the water. If you have breakfast included, there is an eggs guy, which was nice. But everything else felt like a breakfast buffet at a three star hotel (get your own seat, get your own tea/coffee, etc.). Usually if it is your first time to the breakfast, they would brief you on what is available and where everything is. They didn't bother doing that until we looked completely lost and asked. The main seating looked quite busy and we thought someone would at least point to us where to sit, but again, we had to ask. The staff were friendly but didn't seem to have the Irish welcome that we were greeted with at other hotels in Dublin and Ireland. Other aspects also felt like a 3 star hotel, no slippers, no bathrobes, etc. We stayed other 4 star hotels in Dublin and Ireland throughout our trip and we did see these. There were paid to use washing machines, which is nice on vacations.

Stayed in October and the service was great. Kudos to the reception team for checking us in early after a long day of travel. Room was nice but the Air Conditioning was a bit tricky to get used to. Checking out me and my family were personally checked out by the Duty Managers, Demi and Marta who asked us how our stay was and wanted to know if there was anything that affected our stay before we departed. We told them about the Air Conditioning and they could not be more apologetic and offered us coffee and water before we left. This showed that they truly care about how our stay was and was ready to do whatever necessary to ensure we left the hotel happy. Their hospitality and kindness made us feel valued as guests. We will be back again.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre and had such a wonderful experience! As a fellow Hilton Garden Inn team member from Dublin, Ohio, I was so impressed by the amazing service here. Marta, Marisa, Jasmin, and Latif were all outstanding — friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating. They gave me early check-in, late checkout, and even extended my stay at a great rate. The room was clean, modern, and spacious with a beautiful river view. Truly top-notch hospitality from start to finish — I’m proud to call this part of the Hilton family! 💙

Sambou was the first person I met at this hotel. Sambou immediately helped us w tons of laugage, answered our questions and made sure we were truly made to feel at home as well that we knew we could call any time to make any requests or with any questions. I was happy w the laundry room availability and set up. Gym was perfect in size and cleanliness and just short of any water. We definetely look forward to return

Perfect location in downtown Dublin. 10 euro for the express bus from the airport, 20ish for private car. I made a mistake when booking and got a single room. Sandrah was efficient and kind and provided a double needed room, an upgrade, at now extra cost. This was on a busy Friday+ holiday evening. Modern rooms. Would most certainly return, especially considering the comparatively low price
Rob — Google review
Room as well laid out. However, the heating cooling seem to run, hot or cold. It was difficult to maintain a constant temperature. I also found it quite odd that the bathrooms do not have a brush for the stool other than that the building is modern and well equipped, and the breakfast is extremely good.
Marc R — Google review
Our stay was okay, the first room we stayed in was horrible (#705), but we changed rooms after the first night which was a bit better. Extremely old mattresses, but at least no major problems with the room. Overall the hotel seems old and dated, but in the end Jasmijn really made it a whole lot better! Apparently I left an item behind in our first room, which I asked the manager about (short lady with black hair and glasses), but after a supposed enquiry the item wasn't found (no shame at all!) When I asked Jasmijn about the same item she went out of her way to make sure I got the item back. She did what her manager couldnt do by asking her colleagues and double checking the lost and found and eventually retrieved the item succesfully. She made my day and knows what hospitality and service truly means! THANK YOU, Jasmijn!!!

The Jurys Inn Parnell Street Dublin is a hotel located in the center of the city. It has spacious and comfortable rooms, as well as various features such as a fitness room and a restaurant/bar.
Solid mid range hotel in a convenient location for tourists (albeit considered sketchy area by locals!). Staff went above and beyond to make the stay great during busy NFL game weekend. Rooms cleaned quickly and efficiently by lovely staff, welcome drinks and gifts in room. Surprisingly good breakfast.

I had a lovely stay at the Leonardo Hotel on Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland. The hotel is quite nice, with a great location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. It was easy to grab a taxi from outside, which added to the convenience. The staff were friendly and courteous, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the security presence at the front entrance, making the hotel feel safe. The hotel provided umbrellas when needed, which was a thoughtful touch. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring a shower wand and a stationary rain shower head that made for a relaxing shower. The on-site restaurant and bar were convenient for meals and drinks. Although I didn't use the gym, it was available for guests. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to others visiting Dublin.

What a fantastic hotel right in the heart of the city center within walking distance of some of the main attractions. The rooms were comfortable and warm and the staff helpful and polite. The only slight down fall was at breakfast. Most mornings some food items ran out and staff were slow to replenish them, often resulting in the guests having to point it out and wait around for refills, but other than that I couldn't fault it. I would also like to commend the reception staff for their generosity in allowing some members of our party who were not staying in our hotel to leave their luggage in the store room on the last day. It was quite remarkable of them and fully appreciated

- Great location within walking distance of activities, restaurants - Located across street from grocery store. - Clean updated rooms but a little on the small side. - Refrigerator, Iron w board in room - Good breakfast… Excellent breakfast staff A shoutout to Anna, who works at the front desk. She provided excellent customer service not only to me, but also to other guests based on my observations. She’s professional, patient and friendly. She made me feel welcomed when I checked in and appreciated (for staying there) when I checked out. Kudos to Anna

The staff are extremely helpful and kind. We stayed briefly when we were getting married in Ireland last month, and they made our experience so wonderful. the only downfall was our room was too hot for our liking - so if that does not bother you in the slightest, then please disregard my sentiment. This hotel is chic and in a convenient area of the city. When we return to Dublin, we will stay here!

The staff at the Dublin/Parnell Street hotel went above and beyond anytime I interacted with them. Our bed was very comfortable and I loved our view of the busy street below. The breakfast buffet was superb. We were blown away by all the options. I will definitely refer this hotel to fellow travelers and we will look for other Leonardo Hotels when we travel in the future.

The hotel is close to the historic city centre. Excellent service at reception. Room cleaning is perfect like in top five star hotel. The breakfast can be improved-more choice would be better, especially fruits and fresh vegetables.

A great location, lovely rooms and great customer service. Under some renovations at present, which would have been good for the hotel to email and let us know in advance, we would have preferred to have changed the date, no noise just disruptions to restsurant and bar, which meant not being able to have a relaxing drink after a day of sight seeing.

The Hole in the Wall is a historic pub located along the exterior wall of Phoenix Park, boasting a remarkable 100-meter length, making it Europe's longest pub. Dating back to 1651 as a medieval coaching inn, it has been frequented by notable figures throughout history. The pub offers classic Irish dishes and an array of craft beers in a charming setting with exposed brick and live music on select nights.
Had a lovely lunch and decided we would go for the Burgers. We had The Hole Burger with chips, a Bacon & Cheese Burger with chips (generous patties) and for dessert we had chocolate brownies with cream and apple crumble with ice cream custard blueberries strawberries 🍓 Delicious and fresh! Warm and friendly staff as well as a welcoming owner. Definitely recommend! NFC payments accepted. No service charge so we added a tip.

Came here for a family lunch, and I simply can’t fault a single thing. From the high quality food to the fantastic service, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Although slightly on the pricier side, it is well worth the investment. The cocktails were delicious. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for such a lovely meal. Will certainly be back!

Came out to this restaurant on a recommendation from a local and it was a fantastic experience. From the start the service was amazing with Dee and Alex seating us and making us feel welcome and settled giving a personal experience. Cannot recommend the place enough not just for the staff but for the food. We had beef and Guinness stew which was well worth the price and the dessert was fantastic. Definitely a 10/10

It's what I'd call a proper pub, very old and very nice inside. Walk in one end and seems to go on forever with so many different things to look at on the way. We had a meal here which was really nice and service was excellent, very friendly happy big pub.

**Review: Hole in the Wall** The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful and created a really cozy atmosphere. The food was good and the overall decoration was truly impressive. However, the service was disappointing. When we sat down, the staff immediately pressured us to order food, and since we only wanted coffee and desserts, they asked us to leave. The way they communicated this was very poor and came across as quite rude. I understand the place is busy most of the time, but there are better ways to treat guests.

Its convenient location makes it a popular choice for tourists visiting St. Patrick's Day parade as well as other attractions in Dublin. Guests appreciate the clean and contemporary rooms, friendly customer service, and the proximity to shops, restaurants, and transportation options.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was truly excellent, a wide variety of fresh options, beautifully presented and constantly replenished. A great way to start the day. What really made the difference was the reception team. Everyone was kind and helpful, and we especially appreciated Leticia's warm welcome. She went out of her way to assist us and even made a lovely effort to speak Spanish with us, which we truly valued. A fantastic experience overall. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Feels like a 5 star hotel. Rooms are very clean, bed was comfortable, A/C worked very good. Room was VERY quiet thanks to what looked like triple pane windows (see photo). Price was OK. Location very central to Dublin attractions and restaurants. Breakfast buffet the best HIE one I have had with loads of options including cheeses, baked beans, and so much more. Very safe feeling with key needed to access hotel lobby and elevator.

We loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Every team member we met, from security and the front desk to the staff tidying up during breakfast, was warm, professional, and wonderfully kind to our two-year-old. A special thank-you to the duty manager on the evening of October 5: when our in-room safe malfunctioned, she patiently helped us again and again until it was fixed, which ultimately saved us from a potential delay in our onward travel the next day. We’ll gladly choose your hotel again on our next trip to Dublin.

I was genuinely impressed with the quality and service at the Holiday Inn Express in Dublin. For a three-star hotel, it operates at the top of its category, exceeding expectations in every way. From check-in to checkout, everything was smooth, efficient, and well-managed. The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed. While luxury isn’t expected at an Express hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find bathrobes and slippers—a small but meaningful touch that shows genuine care for guest comfort. The bed was cozy, the lighting well-planned, and the water pressure excellent. Breakfast was perfect—hearty, fresh, and consistent. The buffet offered all the essentials (eggs, sausages, pastries, fresh fruit, and great coffee) in a clean, organized setting. The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient, handling requests with both competence and warmth. The location was ideal—close enough to the city’s attractions yet quiet enough for restful sleep. I’d gladly stay here again. This hotel sets the benchmark for what a three-star experience should be: excellent value, comfort, and service without unnecessary frills. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

The worst bar I have attended in Dublin. The manager, a rude men with not a good personal hygiene was pointing a lantern into people’s faces, every time he walked by the dance floor. There was enough light (if you knew the place you’ll understand), but he was aiming into people’s eyes and when we complain he said “I am the manager I can get you kicked out”, even though, nothing happened and we were at a private party in one of the big rooms, not the bar itself. Then, he said there were no more cocktails due to “too much order”, when actually 1 bartender was flirting with someone and not paying any attention and the other was just ignoring us. Finally,we order but guess what? After midnight prices rise. That is correct. For 2 gintonic we paid 27€, after the bartender said the bill would be 15€. Is not about the money it’s the scam. So, no. THE WORSE BAR IN THE ISLAND PROBABLY. He runs the places as he runs his personal hygiene and manners. Like he does not care.

The location is close to a lot of restaurants. The rooms have lots of space, air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a huge shower. They offer single beds, which is useful for family trips. There's a bar, restaurant, and lounge on the ground floor. The room was pretty clean, but the shower needed to be wiped down. Staff was friendly, and if you needed anything or had any questions, they were eager to help. Overall, it was a great place to stay during a family vacation, and I recommend it.

Hotel in a handy location in Dublin. Stayed here on 2 occasions. Staff however we found not so friendly or efficient. We had issues with our room, no hot water and aircon not working. The bathroom drains smelt bad. Fortunately they did change us to a better room. Breakfast was good and had a good variety to choose from. Scramble eggs however were horrible, with lumps which were not eggs. How hard can it be to make good scrambled eggs..

BAR 1661 is a trendy spot located in Parnell Square, Dublin. It's at the forefront of reviving poitin, Ireland's traditional moonshine. The bar has a stylish interior with leather-top stools and dark green wall paneling, creating a cozy atmosphere. Named after the year poitin was banned, BAR 1661 offers an array of cocktails showcasing this once-lost spirit.
Bar 1661 is truly a gem! They offer a fantastic range of cocktails, and my top pick was the “Parts Unknown.” I really enjoyed the welcome cocktails too. The only downside was that the music felt a little too loud at times.
Amy A — Google review
Bar 1661 is IMHO the best cocktail bar in Dublin. It specializes in Irish Poitín, but has everything else you’re craving, too. Roberto and Brenden really did it up for us sitting at the bar, making us some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, letting us try some special tastes, and giving us excellent recommendations for other bars in the area. We also got to meet Qhuy, who was awesome and funny as well. I literally can’t think of a better, more well-rounded crew to man a bar than these guys. I hope I get to come back someday, but if not, thanks Roberto for making it an incredible experience, and I’ll see you at your sisters wedding 💃🏻 (lol obvi)

Cocktails and classics were really superb and they have a very extensive curated list of drinks and a very beautiful looking cocktail menu book. Loved the place drinks and just the vibe. Highly recommend it. For cocktail aficionados this is a must visit place

The tasting experience is a must-do in Dublin. The coctails and garnishments were next level fantastic. The timing of the cocktails are perfect and the food is amazing. We had a fabulous time. You must book in advance because it is really popular.

Nice little cocktail bar with over 25 cocktail creations. We tried about half of them and they were all very tasty. Welcome cocktail on arrival. Very decently priced. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Nice little heated outside seating area.

Really impressed with this bar. Staff were very polite and attentive. Every single member of staff knew the menu inside out, loved how they explained our cocktails to us when serving. Fantastic choice of cocktails and all came well presented. We came for my boyfriend’s 30th for a spontaneous pre drink before dinner and staff were great to fit us in despite the whole place almost full!

An amazing cocktail bar. Absolutely brilliant unique cocktails which taste amazing. All staff are very knowledgeable and have lots of great information about the different cocktails. I would love to return here in the further to try some more!!
Laura M — Google review
Very good cocktails albeit being mostly on the mild side, all very balanced but nothing that would surprise you much. The oysters were super fresh and delicious as well.

The Davenport Hotel, located at 8 Merrion Street, D02DX57, is a traditional and stylish hotel with a rich history dating back to the 17th century when it was known as Merrion Hall. Originally a prayer house for the Plymouth Brethren Christian movement, the building's neo-classical columns and balustrade make it one of the most striking in the city.
Really enjoyed our stay-- beautiful building and spacious rooms (especially for Europe!). Alvaro at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Would recommend staying there to anyone looking for a place while they're in Dublin!

The Davenport is situated in the heart of all the attractions and very convenient. The room was smaller but had 2 chairs and table that we appreciated. We found the bed to be very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, just not as good as comparable hotels in UK. The biggest issue with the hotel is if you need parking. It’s an elevator system that sometimes works, but often doesn’t work. It was actually a nightmare for my husband both going in and out! And the front desk doesn’t prepare you in any way for how the car park works. Staff are overall friendly but not like other comparable hotels we’ve had during our UK trip for the same cost. Would love a robe added to the room.

A gorgeous hotel. But.....I had breakfast here with my sister and friend and would advise people to avoid adding it on. I was very disappointed. At €25 I would expect good quality. Mediocre at best. Not a big selection, the hot items were cold, and service was slow. Many cafés do a lot better. Like I said, disappointed.

I wish we stayed in a different hotel. There were a lot better hotels around. For such a "high valued (and priced)" hotel, I was not impressed at all. There was no parking available for us, so we had to pay extra in a car park a block away. The rooms are extremely tiny. The elevator is tiny, to where I didn't have enough room in it with the luggage cart and myself. The cart also just made it into the elevator doors. Every floor you need your key to scan just to select your floor. The rooms are the smallest rooms I have ever seen. Again. I didn't have enough room in the hallways or room door to get the luggage cart to move our luggage. I had to toss my stuff in the door from the hallway while trying to hold the door open since there was barely enough room to even open the door. We had to change rooms because there was strands of hair in the bed and then when we moved the cover we saw stains on the sheets. We were moved to a new room which was even smaller. We were given a complimentary box of chocolates for the trouble which is in each room anyway. The only positive thing was the breakfast buffet. They had a large variety of items and they were delicious. It was also nice that it was close enough to walk to shopping and food. That was it. My husband and I were very uncomfortable and very disappointed. Save yourself the money and hassle and stay somewhere else in Dublin. Othe

I have recently been at the Davenport and the stay was pleasant. Big plus: the staff. The Argentinians at the counter and the Brasilians at the breakfast were all super helpful, kind and proactive. I felt really welcome. Small drawback: my room had very thin wall and I could even hear the neighbouring rooms toggling the light switch. Suggestion: add a hair drier in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, location was also very good.

My wife and I stayed in the Davenport recently and it was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and so friendly (special callout to Irani at reception). The ambience around the hotel was lovely, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was really good and we also enjoyed some lovely drinks in the bar at night. I was up on business and regularly visit Dublin. The Davenport will be my new home away from home. Well done to all, keep up the excellent work and thanks for a lovely stay.

Right from check in our experience was exceptional. Irani is wonderful at her job and made two jet lagged travelers feel so special and welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great location near St. Stephen's Green. Plus a Dyson hair dryer - bonus! For those staying here two things to note: No shampoo/conditioner/body wash is provided so make sure to pack your own. Parking is available about a 3 minute walk away in a parkade the hotel has a price agreement with (as most major city hotels in Ireland have)

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful, rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast spread was gorgeous. You can walk to everything - Temple Bar, Trinity College, etc. Highly recommended
