Bread 41 is an organic bakery located on Pearse St. in Dublin, known for its specialty breads, pastries, and custom-made cakes. The owner, Eoin Cluskey, is a prominent figure in the artisan bread movement in Ireland and is passionate about natural sourdough breadmaking. The bakery also offers a brunch menu with options like Breakfast Croissant and French Toast.
Amazing find with a delicious assortment of baked goods and espresso drinks. The line held steady outside the door throughout our visit. We also saw the pastry chef measuring out butter for her next recipie as we left. Highly reccomend!

Bread 41 is where craftsmanship meets creativity. A buzzing Dublin bakery turning simple ideas into pure flavour. The sourdough is exceptional, the Cruffin irresistibly flaky, the Savory Croissant rich and inventive, and the Sausage Roll easily among the city’s best. Coffee’s on point, staff are upbeat, and the atmosphere hums with local charm. It gets busy and prices reflect the quality, but every bite reminds you why it’s worth the hype.
Vladimir V — Google review
This is a stunning place and extraordinary bake foods buffet. Chose anything it’s simply elevated standards - homely but fresh and innovative. Loved the croissant, bread butter pudding, chouxin. I literally stumbled into this place and what a great place. ❤️❤️❤️
Santos S — Google review
Bread 41 is amazing! The pastries are so tasty and fresh, and the coffee is honestly the best I’ve had in a while. The staff are super friendly, and I love the big shared tables — such a great vibe. The line was out the door, but it moved fast and was totally worth it!
Grant L — Google review
I was really looking forward to visiting Bread 41! As soon as I got there, I queued up and grabbed some bread and coffee. Luckily, there were still a few seats left inside. I tried the custardo, salted caramel knot, and almond croissant. Maybe my expectations were too high, but although the bread wasn’t bad, I was a bit disappointed because it didn’t have that rich buttery flavor I was hoping for. The Americano was a little pricey, but since other drinks were the same price, I think trying something else next time might be a better deal. ☕️🥐
HJ H — Google review
For some reason, this place is always busy. Maybe they do nice bread, never had. I tried cinnamon roll, and although there was a cream on the top of it, it felt a bit dry. Would I go back again? Yes, to try their almond croissants, they looked good.
Marian B — Google review
This is my second time coming here and I loved it just as much! They have an incredible selection of baked goods and pastries, savoury and sweet!! I got a custardo and a cheese and onion tart, both were superb. Staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommend!

I tried 6 kinds of bakery for breakfast😂 My favourite was Savoury Croissant and Almond Croissant!! Almond paste was fully filled in it:-) And coffee was also nice to enjoy bakeries:-)

Bakery
The Bretzel Bakery & Cafe is a charming find nestled in a picturesque neighborhood, exuding the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. With over 150 years of expertise, this bakery offers an array of delectable treats including breads, cakes, pastries, and more. The cozy interior attracts locals seeking kosher-friendly muffins and pastries to complement their coffee.
Best bagel in town! Big selection of delicious baked goods, including cakes and loaves. Very good coffee too. Small dining area with newspapers and magazines.
Christopher M — Google review
Arguably one of Dublin's most famous bakeries (you'll find their name printed in countless cafés' suppliers), and for good reason. Their breads and sweet bakes are amazing. What's more, the freshly redone shop in Portobello is inviting to have a sit-in coffee or a little lunch. Good bread will always make me happy - and Bretzel has really good bread on offer!
Philip Z — Google review
I've been buying the berry cake from this bakery for at least seven years, and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined. There are barely any berries in the cake now, and the dough isn't as soft as it used to be. It’s disappointing to see such a great product change for the worse. I really hope they bring back the original quality because this used to be one of the best cakes around.
Fernando P — Google review
I must say, this spot is chill and has really tasty coffee. The prices are good, too! I had a cinnamon roll— it was delicious.
Leona B — Google review
I can't believe I am only figuring this place now. Thanks to my BFF. Small little cafe attached is actually beautiful. Lovely pastries (very home made vibe). Great coffee. Very affordable. Great service. Highly recommend.
Iqbal K — Google review
Friendly staff and a good variety of products. I liked their sandwiches, but although the bagels looked delicious and fluffy, they were actually quite hard, so I didn’t enjoy them. Still, I’m happy to have a place like this in Portobello for fresh bread 👍🏻
Dilan K — Google review
This used to be my favourite place in Dublin for breakfast - I would always ask for coffee and a cream cheese bagel. I don’t know if management has changed but this place is not what it used to be. In the past , bagels would be bigger with a generous amount of cream cheese. I didn’t even mind the burnt flavour it had, as the cheese was delicious and would overpower it. This weekend I went back to this bakery and I was truly disappointed. Everything is more expensive, the bagel is smaller and barely had cream cheese - I could only feel the burnt flavour this time. It’s truly heartbreaking to see one of my favourite places falling apart. They refurbished the whole thing and to me, it now lacks personality. I am thankful for the good times I had here for the past 3 years, but I don’t plan to ever come back. It’s very sad to see a good place being sacrificed for money - but i guess it pays off.
Laura M — Google review
I got just one scone, but God how good it was even without any jam nor butter. First in my life and thanks to that I fall in love with them. Thanks

Il Valentino Bakery & Cafe is a charming Italian bakery and cafe located in the Dublin Docklands. It offers a variety of delectable Italian breads, pastries, and desserts that can be enjoyed on-site with a cup of coffee or taken away. The bakery takes pride in using only the healthiest and most authentic ingredients, such as Italian extra virgin olive oil and preservative-free flours for their baked goods.
Il Valentino has the best coffee in Dublin, no question! The ciabatta is perfectly baked, crispy on the outside, soft inside and the "Croissant" is buttery, flaky, and just melts in your mouth. It’s my go-to spot when I want something really good. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and top-quality food every time. Can't recommend it enough!
Arif İ — Google review
A small nice cafe and bakery place. I do understand why it's a favourite for a lot of tech folks in this area as it's an easily accessible place to sit for coffee. But talking about what I had here: 1. Hot chocolate was just basic and didn't enjoy it at all. I'd give it 2.5 or 3 out of 5. 2. I also had pistachio cannoli and that was quite basic too.
Amit A — Google review
The pastries were nice for a little snack, but nothing super special or notable. Was excited to try the matcha but once it came out and I saw how dull and pale the color was, I knew it was not going to be good…unfortunately I was right. Tasted kind of watered down :\
Jasmine M — Google review
This is a lovely spot for coffee and pastries. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, though it does feel a bit pricey. The food is generally good, but there have been times when it’s been a bit stale, and the quality isn’t always consistent. When it’s fresh, though, it’s fantastic! Overall, a great place. Can get very busy at times but I’ve always found the service to be fast and efficient.
Nat — Google review
Went there during closing on a Saturday and as expected most of the items on shelf were sold out. We ordered our coffees - Flat white & Cappuccino and were asked to take-out which we understand as they wanted to close. The staff was polite though. Coffees tasted decent but would definitely try this place for their pastries next time. They have an outside sitting area as well which is perfect for sunny weather, regardless even the docks view was worth it.
Devanshi A — Google review
Everything was good. Delicious coffee and Pastries. Recommended for all time.
Majid — Google review
The food looks nice but it is nothing special, the worst part is when you go to sit down, it is so dirty. The toilets look to be never cleaned, there's crumbs and dust everywhere and counter tops filled with dirty dishes. My drink was brought in a dirty cup and food came with no cutlery, drink didn't have a spoon either. It's very busy, but overhyped and definitely not worth the money or what you can catch from the lack of hygiene.
Isabella — Google review
Their Veg Croissant is a must try, if you are a vegetarian. Coffees are amazing - we tried Cappuccino & Latte. We also tried the Elcair Pistachio and it was good - personally I would have preferred it warm ! So, I visited this bakery for the third time and it’s my go to place now. All the food options are just amazing. Plus, you get a lot of beverages options. The staff has always been very cordial and nice. If you are looking to enjoy some coffee in peace, beside the river then it’s a good place. Definitely recommend it ! Pizzas could have been better - so you might wanna set your expectation in terms of what to expect :) All and all, it’s a must visit ! Cheers,

Mannings Bakery, a family-owned independent bakery with over 60 years of history, is a must-visit in Dublin. Located on Thomas Street near the Guinness Storehouse, this bakery offers an array of delicious baked goods from traditional confectionery like Gur cakes to modern treats like cupcakes in various flavors. The interior is simple yet modern, allowing the focus to remain on the impressive display of birthday cakes.
Mannings Bakery was such a lovely experience! Even though we don’t usually like sweet things, everything here was so well-balanced and delicious, especially the pancakes and cupcakes. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was outstanding. Bryan, the manager, took such great care of us with genuine kindness, and the whole team was warm and welcoming. It’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommend, even if you’re not a big fan of sugar!
Dannia P — Google review
Manning’s Bakery – Pretty pastries, slightly crusty service A clean, attractive spot that really stands out among its more “up and coming” surroundings. There are lots of people walking to Guinness like me Inside, the counter is a visual treat, cakes and bakes galore. Sadly, two of the four things I ordered were out of stock, and the staff seemed mildly allergic to patience. The scones? Tasty, but more rock cake than cloud-like fluff. Conclusion: Looks the part, tastes decent, but service and stock issues mean I'll look elsewhere first
Jon B — Google review
Mannings Bakery has long been an institution in Dublin and remains well-regarded for its quality baking and consistently delicious cakes. Their long-standing reputation and commitment to good service are clear to see, and they continue to deliver dependable quality in their selection of pastries, and celebration cakes. However, I've noticed a change over the past five years in their birthday cakes. Where once the cakes stood out for their exquisite artistry and stylish decoration, they have recently become more ordinary in design and presentation. The creative flair that once set Mannings apart from other bakeries seems to have faded, leaving the current birthday cakes without the distinctive, elegant character that used to define them. I share this observation as constructive feedback because Mannings remains a valued and respected bakery in Dublin. Their quality of baking is still strong, but I hope they might revisit the artistry and decorative innovation that once made their birthday cakes truly special.
Jean Y — Google review
A delicious Dublin delight—where tradition meets comfort Mannings Bakery & Café is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at ease. Established in 1952 and still family-run, it’s a genuine artisan gem tucked into the heart of Dublin, serving up handcrafted treats with a side of heartfelt hospitality. We stopped in for coffee and pastries, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was rich and smooth—clearly made with care—and the pastries were fresh, flaky, and indulgent without being overdone. Whether you’re craving a buttery croissant, a cream-filled slice, or something more adventurous, Mannings delivers with flavor and finesse. The café itself is a lovely space to relax. It’s clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, with just the right balance of cozy charm and modern polish. We lingered over our treats, soaking in the calm and watching locals pop in for their favorites—a testament to the bakery’s loyal following. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. You get the sense that they care not just about the food, but about the people who walk through the door. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it makes all the difference. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, celebrating with a custom cake, or just treating yourself to a quiet moment with coffee and something sweet, Mannings Bakery & Café is a place that feels like home—only with better pastries.

I ordered 2 birthday cakes for my daughter’s 18th. A chocolate mud cake and a Victoria sponge. Both were delicious. The Victoria sponge was the lightest cake I have ever eaten. Would recommend and will be using again. I had the cakes delivered. I received a text on the morning of delivery to share the estimated time.

Bakery
Hansel and Gretel Bakery & Patisserie is an artisan bakery with locations in Dublin's Clare Street, Artane, and Navan. Their shops are known for their beautiful design and pleasant displays. In addition to traditional baked goods like barmbrack, they also offer innovative treats like croissant muffins in various flavors. The bakery focuses on providing high-quality products without the need for trendy offerings or classes.
Small bakery tucked in the streets around Trinity college. We came in the afternoon so most of the baked goods were gone but we managed to try some of the pastries in the display. The fruit tart and cookies were good. Should come back in the morning and try the breads!
M K — Google review
This is a very small café that sells pastries and baked goods. The place looks really cute, but there isn’t enough seating. The atmosphere is lovely. I had high hopes for the pastries and tried the pain au chocolat and croissants—the chocolate they used was quite dark, which isn’t really to my taste.
Fahmida L — Google review
I've been staying a number of days at a hotel near Hansel and Gretel, and have found this great little bakery and coffee shop a convenient stop as I'm walking to various tourist sites. The pastries are freshly baked and very good, and the coffee (which may be supplied by a coffee shop chain called Ariosa) is very good. Unlike other nearby coffee shops, Hansel and Gretel has no seating either inside or outside. But if a takeaway cup of coffee and a pastry is your thing, this is a great choice.
William L — Google review
the bread(apple jam pastry) and hot chocolate was 10/10. The deal was reasonable price. Friendly workers as well!
이한솔 — Google review
We have been customers of the H&G branch in the Swan Centre Rathmines since it opened. In fact it is why we chose to do our supermarket shopping there. It was with dismay that we saw last night workmen dismantling the cafe. Your product was very good, coffee, pastries and apple tarts too. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, particularly the French lady. What happened to cause this closure??
Geoff S — Google review
Charming bakery with a great selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. They also do Too Good To Go bags which have been amazing value when we’ve tried it. I miss the beautiful cake display they used to have in the middle of the space (it made it much easier to browse), but I’m guessing it might have been taken away for health and safety reasons? In any case worth dropping by if you’re in the area. Coffee and staff are nice too.
Vy N — Google review
I'd give this place 3.5 if possible as 3 seems a bit too harsh and 4 seems a bit much. So after searching around and seeing nice reviews, I visited the place to try out their Pistachio Bakewell that they have posted almost everywhere on maps to Instagram etc. Brought home and tried that along with Almond Bakewell as well as per the recommendation. It felt a bit dry to me and wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be or as it looked. I am not sure I am going to try it again.
Amit A — Google review
Such a stylish place to buy a pastry and a coffee on the go. Everything is laid out out in the open as if you were in the home of a compulsive baker. It looks a bit like a story book idea of how a cake shop should be. Is it a coincidence that it is located en route from the gallery to the museum? Everything in here looks like a work of art but fortunately there are no glass cases to stop you getting your grubby mitts on the treasure. A self-service cake shop this good? It's almost a crime.

Russell Street Bakery is a new addition to the Dublin bakery scene, brought to you by the same team behind Tartine Organic Bakery. This micro-bakery offers a variety of organic loaves and unique items like lemon curd, New York roll, and Pan Swiss. Visitors praise the quality of their food, including sandwiches and pastries. Additionally, they offer packaged flours for those who want to try baking at home. The bakery also serves decent coffee and sells beans for coffee enthusiasts.
Worth the hype!! Very fresh and good stuff. They open at 7 a.m. but most of their items are not ready by 8:30 a.m. or 9 a.m. I went here twice and very good experice both times. Pistachio New York Roll is very good. A bit sweet if you want to have whole roll alone. They have good variety in focaccia. I have almost tried everything from here and excellent. They have only take away.
Rucha A — Google review
I loved the bakery and the staff. They're really nice and kind. It's a perfect spot to enjoy some sunny days. Food was pretty good too. It's just that some of the things I wanted to taste were over. Even got some stuff packed for the way. The pricing is pretty good!
Maham J — Google review
The appearance of the pastries was nice and appetizing. However, the cream filling could have been a bit more generous. I tried the pistachio one, but unfortunately, I couldn’t really taste the pistachio flavor in the cream. I was expecting a more intense pistachio taste.
Serkan K — Google review
“Artisanal French-style bakery near Croke Park, offering freshly baked croissants, breads, and excellent coffee—warm service and limited outdoor seating make it ideal for a quick, high-quality pastry break.”
Nikhil K — Google review
Bread and pastries are excellent, as good as you'll get in Dublin. Popular spot, seems to be a queue every morning - moves quickly though. Only minor niggle is that the bread comes wrapped in plastic. Paper would be better - environmentally and no condensation from freshly baked bread.
Paschal N — Google review
Nice pastries and coffee. Spanakopita and focaccia are tasty, well made. I wish they had proper seating because I prefer my coffee in a mug.
Geanina S — Google review
I would've loved to take more photos, but I couldn’t resist and ended up eating before even taking pictures. 😅 My husband and I were influenced by a video on Instagram that said ‘one of the best bakeries in Dublin,’ but I dare say it’s the BEST bakery in Ireland. Good Lord, it’s delicious! We bought quiche, focaccia, spinach rolls, pistachio rolls… and I swear I can’t choose the tastiest one. Not to mention that even the cappuccino is exceptional, super creamy. The dough is light, fresh, everything just right. I highly recommend this place.
Tatiana L — Google review
Quite easily the best bakery we’ve been to in Ireland! Hands down beats some of the popular, overcrowded bakeries in Dublin. The staff is friendly and have great recommendations. Spinach and Feta Croissant - absolutely stunning, buttery, creamy and delicious Potato garlic and rosemary focaccia - it was vegan, but very nice! The potato gave a creamy texture and the garlic flavour was subtle, not too overpowering Chocolate croissant - seemed like it had a million layers and it was fantastic. The chocolate filling felt like a mousse rather just a simple chocolate filling Coffee was delicious as well. They’ve a small outdoor seating to have your coffee and pastries.

Nestled in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Camerino Bakery offers a delightful experience for visitors. The bakery serves up an array of delectable treats, including toasties and cakes, all made with traditional Jewish bread recipes. Their signature challah is a must-try, featuring a rich, yolky interior encased in a crispy crust sprinkled with sesame seeds.
Loved the atmosphere Fresh Pastry Tried homemade granula - best in Dublin so far

The food was delicious and great price. We ordered capuchino with a blueberry cake and ham and cheese sandwich, the portion was good. Nice place to take a coffee after walk on the garden

€11.20 for the dingiest coffee & sausage roll that has no meat, tasteless. Don’t bother visiting here because the new café since it reopened is very bad. You used to be able to get a full hearty dinner before this crowd took over. Its terrible :(

Cozy coffee shop and bakery where you can enjoy your morning quietly. Loved the flat white here, which we had along with the carrot cake, chocolate peanut butter cookie and lemon bar. Highly recommended and would definitely come back again

Had a yummy sandwich with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella! My husband had the breakfast sandwich and he enjoyed his too. The sourdough bread was the real deal. Nicely toasted. We also ordered a side soup each. It was good with nice garnish on top but was only lukewarm. I believe soup should be served piping hot!! I bought 2 chocolate brownies, 2 raspberry cheesecake brownies and a coconut loaf for takeaway as we were headed to my friend’s house. All treats were delicious!!! It’s such a nice place for a coffee + treat or a quick bite. Loads of tables. Great lighting. Very open space. Clean toilets.

Discovered this place during a food tour, and we got to talk to the owner of the place and to know her story : we all feel in love with her story, she really fought to deserve the success of this bakery ! Ireland is magic like that, go try her scones 👍👍👍 Edit : I wanted to write a review a new review but I can see that I had already written a review for this great bakery. Caryna, we want to thank you for the beautiful and delicious wedding cake ! We got many great feedbacks about it 😃 We were very happy with it and it looked great, definitely played a big part to make our big day the perfect day to remember !

Had a beautiful baguette on Thursday. My mam had the hazelnut brownie and loved it. Sadly I had the raspberry one and it was undercooked. I always love and prefer a gooey brownie but this one was 100% undercooked. Zero chew I actually had to spit it out I felt sick and can't find where to add a picture of it

I was on a short visit to Dublin and was on the lookout for speciality bakery. So took a 45 minute bus journey from the city centre to here. The croissant was amazing and not too oily. However the service was standoffish and not very welcoming. The outside decor is aesthetically pleasing but the interior is a bit too clinical

Bread Naturally is my favourite bakery in Dublin! Everything is so fresh and absolutely delicious! And such a great variety of options - especially now they have started doing coffee, which is also excellent and very well priced! The girls in the shop are so lovely and helpful. Make sure to stop by and try something if you’re in the area!

We were seriously impressed by the bread in this place. We ordered the miso sourdough and it’s probably the best sourdough we’ve ever had. We also ordered a croissant and a morning bun which were passable. Compared to the French-style, they were too dry, and probably didn’t contain enough butter. They were doughy and bready. Coffee was decent too. But definitely will go back for the bread.

Got a couple of cakes from the coffee shop part . The cakes were absolutely scrumptious. Got a flat white coffee which was excellent, the young lady who did the coffee was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable on the coffee. You do not find that friendliness and knowledge in many places. A coffee shop to sit and enjoy would be even better.

The Green Door Bakery is a well-stocked bakery in Stoneybatter, North Dublin, that sells fresh sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Its sandwiches include hearty options such as roast beef and brie or tuna and avocado, while its cakes and pastries are equally satisfies with chocolate brownies and sticky toffee pudding among the favourites. There is no seating available at the bakery, but it's worth a visit for delicious bread, snacks and drinks.
I visited here this morning for the first time. The smell in the bakery was divine. I was greeted by an extremely friendly and courteous gentleman. Very polite and helpful. The coffee and pastries were delicious. Couldn't recommend enough. Great music too!

The service was wonderful! The lady who helped me was very gentle and kind, taking her time to ensure everything was perfect. She made a lovely coffee. The pastries and bread looked delightful. The pain au chocolat had a nice flavour, but I found the texture quite unusual—almost too chewy, which took away from the overall experience. I also tried the sourdough, which had a good taste, but the crust wasn’t as crispy as I expected. With a little toasting on the grill, it could shine!

Genuinely the best coffee I've had in Dublin. Out of my way but I made a point to go often. The people are kind and knowledgable. The cheesecake and croissants are to die for. The honey is delicious. I only wish this was a bigger location that had indoor seating.

Maybe it's my bad luck... but I was sold a half raw cinnamon roll and flaccid almond croissant from this bakery this morning. Luckily I was in a position where I could bring the raw dough roll back to them in the space of half an hour. Did I get my money back.. Yes... was there any apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience issues ... No. Be wary of the hype associated with Stoneybatter food outlets... they talk a big game.... but fail to deliver.

The Pepper Pot is a charming tea room located in the Powerscourt Centre, a picturesque setting within an 18th-century Georgian manor turned modern shopping center. Run by Marian Kilcoyne and her sister Catherine, this quaint spot offers a variety of delectable treats including cakes, all-day breakfast options, salads, and sandwiches made with their house-made bread. The first-floor terrace provides a prime vantage point to admire the historical surroundings while enjoying your meal.
This café was a great place to take a short break and find some peace in the middle of Dublin. We walked from the castle and found great gift shops other boutiques on our way. The atmosphere was really pleasant, and while seating depends on how busy it is, the side seats are definitely the best if you can get one. Prices are also reasonable, making it a nice and affordable stop during the day. Cute tableware as well!!

I recently visited and had a lovely experience. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel, which was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Compliments to the kitchen. For dessert, I tried the orange cake, soft, fragrant, and with a lovely homemade flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly, a special thanks to Karol and Siobhán who made the difference with a big smile and small conversation, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d return to for more menu options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our teas and pastries on the Pepper Pot cafe balcony at the Powercourt center. Both the almond cake and blueberry muffin were baked to perfection. We’d love to come back and try their lunch options. Deducted a star only because their cups and teapots need a thorough cleaning. Other than that I highly recommend stopping by for a little afternoon pick me up.

A fair price for the food you're given. It's incredibly good; a great balance of flavors and sweet and salty in their dishes. I had the free range bacon bagel and my girlfriend had the porridge. That bagel was divine! The apple juice here is uniquely nice as well, and it's the kind that makes you believe you can taste the whole apple (core, skin, and all) in one juice. Very nice place; if only there was more private, quiet seating. The centre is a bit loud.

The staff are always incredibly welcoming and kind, which really adds to the experience. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve — the coffee is consistently excellent, smooth, and full of flavor. Bakery
The Morning Bakery, located in Dublin's Village Quarter area, is a beloved spot known for its specialty coffee and freshly baked goods made in-house. After nine years of serving the community, the bakery will be closing its doors on December 15th. The owners, Brian and Kev, have expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from loyal customers as they prepare to embark on a new chapter.
As a fast growing reviewer, looking to explore always the amazing places on Earth (meaning food, mostly), I visited The Morning Bakery in Dublin... and it is an absolute gem! The vibe here is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to start the day. Their pastry selection is creative, you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you're a coffee lover or a pastry enthusiast, this place will blow you away. It's definitely a must-visit!

Very cute bakery & a Dublin hipster staple 🥐 I got the cardamom and orange donut and it was gorgeous. Coffee is yummy too. Definitely try to make it into here before they close down in a few weeks!

In search of the perfect crisp flaky and beautifully laminated pastry? Whether is the classic croissant, or IMO possible the best almond croissant in town, then you have to check out The Morning Bakery. Word to the wise - the almond croissants seem to be the first to sell out so try to be there before 10am! The donuts and focaccia look fab too - but I can never seem to pass up the croissant in favour of something else! The coffee’s fab too - and on those rare days the sun shines the south facing outside tables are the way to go!

I visited the Morning Bakery in Dublin on a Tuesday morning. The primary difference between the Morning Bakery and its counterpart, the Morning, is that the former offers dine-in options while the latter is for takeaways. I opted for a flat white and a spinach roll to have in. It wasn't particularly busy, so there were plenty of tables to choose from. My first impression was that the staff weren’t very warm or welcoming; they efficiently took orders and served, but that was the extent of their interaction. Despite this, the food and drink were excellent. I didn't try their popular focaccia sandwiches, but they are reportedly best sellers. Overall, my experience was satisfactory. I wouldn’t mind returning, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if I couldn't.

We went to the morning bakery for the first time and I really enjoyed myself. We got a pistachio escargot (4,50€), a focaccia (5€), an almond croissant (4,50€) and a cappuccino (4€) The almond croissant is my favorite one I had in Dublin so far and was a 5/5! The Cappuccino was really nice but kind of expensive and small for 4€. The Focaccia is even better than the ones from bread 41 in my opinion and theirs is already class. The escargot was super flaky and „crispy“. For the Germans among us it maybe looks like a Nussschnecke but the dough definitely resembles a crisp croissant rather than what a classic Nussschnecke would be for us. But also super nice. I love their small and fresh selection and the ambiance in the café! Would definitely recommend.

I visited a small and cute café last Sunday, and I must say that the place was amazing. The food was really good, and I tried the veggie sandwich which was delicious. I also had two desserts which were both amazing. I ordered a cappuccino and the coffee was nice too. This place is a perfect spot to have a morning coffee with some small bites. It's a must-visit place.

Without a doubt, it's among the best bakeries in Dublin. Firstly, the variety of products they offer means that every time you visit, you can try something new. Additionally, the portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing. My favorite is the filled doughnut. Its softness and delicious filling take it to another level. Of course, I can't resist dipping it into my coffee to give it that perfect moist touch. The croissants are super light but have that delicious buttery taste that I always hope to find. The staff is always smiling and very attentive to providing everything you need. Moreover, the place is pet-friendly! What more could you ask for? The best part is the tables by the window where the sun shines in.

Went for our 6 year anniversary & was such a pleasant experience from the start. The food was so delicious. They kindly gave us a complimentary glass of wine which was such a lovely gesture. The staff are exceptionally friendly but in the most normal , natural way. The chef (I think it was the head chef anyways) managed to bring out one of our dishes which is a nice personal touch and makes you feel appreciated as a customer. The decor is minimal but very well executed. A huge selection of wine of course. We stayed two hours and didn’t feel pressured to leave like I’ve experienced in some restaurants with back to back bookings. I’d highly recommend and already have to all my friends. Such an asset to the area. Thanks for such a lovely evening guys

Una is a newly opened bakery in Ranelagh that has quickly gained popularity, with long queues forming outside. Customers have raved about the delicious pastries and bread, particularly praising the almond croissant and massive custard tart. The bakery offers a welcoming atmosphere, making it a delightful spot to celebrate special occasions like International Women's Day. While some items may sell out quickly, such as the puff pastry, there are still plenty of tasty options available, including the cinnamon bun and bakewell.
Amazing bakery with a wide range of options. I’ve had my fair share of cinnamon buns which I can’t recommend enough but the other options are also top quality. While the baked goods are on the more expensive side they are worth it in my opinion. If you’re planning to go on the weekends I’d recommend going early for the full selection and expecting to wait a while

I originally came here about a month ago for the strawberry and cream pastry, but they didn’t have it at the time! I ordered the almond croissant and it was good, just not the best I’ve had. Probably the best bakery I've visited in Dublin. Fantastic pastries , super high quality. Beautiful fresh baked bread , we got a loaf of focaccia and a variety of pastries. And some tasty iced coffees
Ross M — Google review
Ah, the sweet scent of cinnamon in the air. The hope. The dreams. The €5 price tag. I strutted into the bakery ready to treat myself like the cinnamon loving royalty I am. I handed over my hard earned coin with visions of a gooey, warm swirl of sugary delight. What did I get? A crusty, overcooked corner. A cinnamon bun’s grumpy cousin. The part that even the oven tried to forget. It was like biting into a fossilized bread relic from the Jurassic pastry period. I checked the bottom for ancient runes. I felt like I was being punished for something. Did I offend a pastry god? I tried to make the best of it, dunked it in coffee, begged it to soften. Nothing. This bun was emotionally unavailable. I paid €5 for heartbreak and a dental challenge. Would I go back? Probably. But I’m only ordering from the middle of the tray next time.

This is a really good bakery but too sweet for me. They make unique pastries. They also have Focaccia and Bread. It's small little take away. Sometimes there is queue on weekends. I loved Blood Orange and Rhubarb Pastry and would go back to get it. Pan au Rasin was too sweet. Cream on top of Cinnamon Bun was too sweet.I recommend this place to others but personally I don't like too sweet stuff. It makes me pukish.
Rucha A — Google review
The cinnamon bun was amazing – soft, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. However, the chocolate cookie was a bit disappointing. I expected a crisp outer layer with a soft, chewy center, but the texture was off—it felt slightly firm to the touch yet sticky and dense when bitten into. Still, I’ll definitely be back to try other items!

Fable Bakery, located on Dawson Street, is a relatively new but already popular spot among shoppers and office workers. Run by friends Elyse and Kate, who honed their skills at the Ballymaloe Cookery School and Smithfields No Messin Bakery, this bakery offers a variety of freshly made pastries and buns that have become stand-out products. Customers can enjoy a morning coffee and sweet treat while watching the world go by outside or grab something to go.
One of my favorite bakeries in Dublin because of their savory selections. I recommend the bagel one which is so chewy and umami. I also like the sun-dried tomato one though it was little salty. The cookie is thin and crispy which is good with a cup of coffee. And the rhubarb one with tarragon is also gorgeous with the cream cheese on it. And even the price is so reasonable which makes it more perfect.
Hye K — Google review
Fable Bakery in Dublin is a pleasant little spot, though not exactly a hidden gem. Their baked goods are decent—fresh and enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. The coffee was fine, not standout. The staff were kind and the setting cozy, though service could be a bit quicker. It’s worth dropping by if you're nearby, but maybe not worth a long detour. All in all, a good experience, just not one that’ll knock your socks off.

Wonderful bakery situated inside Sprout! Ambience was nice but there is limited seating (there are tables for standing). Ordered the chocolate hazelnut bun which was delicious, did not expect the chocolaty filling on the inside which complemented the bun very well. Would like to try the bagel bun in the future!

A glorious wee shop, tucked just down the way from the People's park. You know, it is places like this that remind one of how nice it is to love in town: you will be walking along. Thinking of this or that, and sudden you catch a scent of baking on the air, and then you see the wee shop there, just inviting you to come in. And it is always worth it! Lovely, lovely place altogether!

Good coffee flavor but could be served hotter. Ambience is a little poor but it's worth "slumming" it a bit because the prices are somewhat lower than nearby establishments. I would try here again.

Their mince pies are delicious, the pastry is super flakey and the rich filling is amazing with different types of sultanas and cherry. Definitely one of the best mince pies I've tried. I haven't tried any of their other pastries but I'm sure they are amazing. I'll definitely be back. The staff are very nice. You can also get coffee and there are a few tables at the back to enjoy their treats.

The Cinnamon Bun is a dream! I could eat them all day, super moist and gooey in the right ways! Absolutely need to stop here while in Dublin. We also ordered the chocolate bun and it was moist and gooey as well… but I think it had too much chocolate… maybe there’s something wrong with me? Either way still really good just didn’t have my heart the way the cinnamon bun did. Absolutely recommend, friendly staff as well!

Elliots is a newly opened micro-bakery in Dublin, expanding from the renowned Oxmantown. The bakery offers delectable baguettes with a perfect crispy crust and soft interior, reminiscent of those found in France. Additionally, their twice-baked Basque cheesecake is irresistible and keeps customers coming back for more. Despite its official closing time at 15:00, Elliots tends to sell out of their goodies much earlier due to high demand.
Today I visited this bakery, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! They seriously have some of the best pastries I’ve ever tried (I’m not even exaggerating) I had the strawberry croissant and the almond chocolate croissant and woww absolutely delightful. They’ve nailed the balance of sweetness, not too sugary. I usually don’t like overly sweet creams, but here they’ve mastered that delicious, smooth flavour that doesn’t overwhelm your taste buds👌🏽 Don’t even get me started on the chai latte, hands down the best one I’ve had in all of Dublin😮‍💨 they make it the way it’s meant to be: the perfect blend of sweet and spicy😍 I honestly can’t wait to go back!

I’m happy that I finally can tell about this bakery. After almost 10 times visits, Elliot becomes my favorite in the city centre. Here are some evidences. 1. Great location It is located nearby Camden street which is very busy spot in Dublin. 2. Freshness Sadly they sold out very quickly but also it is very fresh. And they do seasonal selections as well which makes them very interesting. 3. Atmosphere I’m not sure about another one but the city centre one is built very newly. I looove their big sign on the building and greeny mood except for when it is too busy and the tables are unclean with loads of flakes. Overall, I always love to visit and they always compliment something I have and supersuper nice. My recommendation : Honey&salt croissant, Seasonal brioche or pastry
Hye K — Google review
Charming vibe, but don’t expect to settle in for long, there’s barely any seating, and it’s limited to outside tables. That said, their almond croissant is a winner: flaky pastry, perfectly balanced filling that’s not too sweet, and a generous topping of roasted almonds that adds a lovely crunch. I’ve had better matcha elsewhere, but their almond milk matcha latte paired nicely with the croissant, making for a pleasant treat overall :)

The pastries …. I love them so much- not only do they look fabulous but they’re genuinely all delicious. Sausage rolls are 11/10 The other pastry pictured was a kimchi pastry When getting other pastries to go they’re well packaged and travel well too. Nestled in the heart of Rialto, The Bakery by The Cupcake Bloke has become a beloved staple of the community over its five-year journey. Owner Graham Herterich, inspired by his grandmother's baking skills, offers a delightful menu filled with nostalgic Irish treats like barmbrack and cream buns alongside impressive sourdough and heritage loaves that fly off the shelves.
Really great local deli and bakery. I live close by and I have started popping in once a week. They make great coffee to go. They have a great selection of cupcakes and other sweet desserts. They make their own soda bread - a couple of options-which is excellent. They had bagels and sourdough from the Bretzel recently and I bought them. They also make their own teabrack which is delicious. Apart from these items, they also have cheeses, various condiments and relishes and other stuff. I feel we are spoilt having this place and Ennis butchers next door.

Artybaker, a rising star in the pastry scene, has quickly gained popularity since its establishment two years ago. The bakery, originally located on Castle Street, has expanded significantly and is known for its distinct and colorful pastries. From rainbow croissants to Ferrero Rocher-filled specials, the decision of which pastry to indulge in can be quite challenging for visitors. Head baker Romain Tessier brings his expertise from professional training in France and experience at prestigious London hotels.
I love the Arty Baker, every time I go the quality and atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is so happy to see you and it’s so nice not to have to go to Paris for the best French bakes! Also the new Bagels are the best new addition they are delicious! Can’t wait to see what else this awesome business does! Love them!!

Artybaker is a small space, but it offers a great selection of breads and pastries. The loaf is definitely delicious, and the cappuccino was flavorful, creamy, and well made. Highly recommend it.

4.6/5, some of the best croissants I’ve tried & the other pastries are very nice as well! We tried the cinnamon roll, Swiss chocolate chip pastry & some of their croissants- which are definitely their best!

Cute cafe, nice pastries ! Had the morning bun which was slightly over done Honey and sea salt croissant was nice Cinnamon bun was really good The maple and pecan pastry was lovely Coffee was good too, could be hotter. Nice cafe to visit in Kimmage.

Their coffee used to be great, But it has really gone downhill. The mocha more like a plain latte with almost no chocolate flavour, maybe it was because of a new barista.
Ht — Google review
Pastries and breads getting smaller and smaller compared to when they opened. Probably it depends by the chef because sometimes they are ok. But it's disappointing sometimes you go in and and the y charge 8 euros for 2 tiny pastries or almost 6 euro for a small loaf of bread. C'mon, go back to the quality/price level you had when you started here in Kimmage!

The highlights of our visit were the very friendly staff and the great coffee. The pastries were good but not standout (slightly over baked)

New sister-bakery shop opened across the way beside Grian Cafe. Went down to get a bagel today for lunch, staff were very nice, just a bit disappointed with the price of the bagel being at €10.50. Having paid this price I expected it to be a lot bigger than it was. Giving it a 3 star review as the flavours were nice but it would have been reasonably affordable at €7.00 in my opinion but I understand cost of rent and supplies have unfortunately made it the price it is. I’d recommend it as a once off treat definitely as it gives off New York vibes but I’d see it hard to go back again with the price it is.

Sceal Bakery, a delightful gem in Greystones, has captured the hearts of pastry enthusiasts since its inception in 2017. Founded by the inseparable duo Charlotte and Shane, who first crossed paths during their Culinary Arts studies at TU Dublin, this bakery is a testament to their shared passion for baking. Their journey began with a humble market stall in Dublin 9 and has blossomed into a beloved establishment known for its seasonal offerings.
Finally got to taste Sceal's wares. Did not fail to impress. Mince pies are top notch. Hard to pick a sourdough cause the selection is great. Pick the 3 wheat dough and it was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to get back and try more of their bread and pastries. It's a real treat.

Attended their sourdough workshop. Shane has such a passion for what he does, couldn't help but feel inspired. The workshop was very hands on and the lunch was absolutely delicious. Plenty of tips for sourdough success. Highly recommend!

They do a stall in Stoneybatter on Saturdays but this bakery is not actually open to the public. There isn’t an actual storefront. I accidentally popped in, much to my embarrassment I realized I shouldn’t really be there. That said the two bakers in there were extremely helpful, and their pastries are incredible if you get a chance to visit one of the places they supply. Keep up the good work!

Unbelievable bread! Attended one of Shane's courses in January and really helped me understand the sourdough process. Sound fella with a real passion for bread and it shows! Keep up the good work

No Messin Bakery, located within Proper Coffee in Smithfield, Dublin, is a serious contender in the art of baking. They exclusively use seasonal, fresh, and local ingredients to craft their pastries. Despite only opening in 2020, it has quickly become a top spot for enjoying coffee and sweet treats. The bakery's emphasis on simple ingredients and flavors ensures that everything is meticulously prepared with expertise. While currently offering only pastries due to space constraints, an expansion may be on the horizon.
Was so good we went back twice in one day. Awesome coffee and beyond delicious pastries. I’m still thinking about the almond Frankie and focaccia days later.

Potato focaccia bread was lovely, as was the cheese scone which had a slight kick. The only thing is they do not sell butter to go with the scone which I found odd. I didn’t enjoy the iced latte I ordered, the coffee had a very odd tangy flavour.

There socks are absolutely gorgeous. Really want a pair. But they are on the pricey side will be asking to get them for my birthday. So many cute little bits and bobs and cakes and savoury foods looked gorgeous to bad I had already eaten before going in would of definitely gotten something but I actually felt inspired my some of the flavours I saw here might try it out. Or next time I come might get a cook book as I’m sure they’re amazing. Unfortunately don’t live in Dublin though. But I definitely won’t be forgetting this little place. Also the shop was super coulourful and pretty and made you feel exited when you enter. Such a good vibe

Wonderful place for breakfast. Top floor of a very smart slightly different department store. Lots of breakfast choices but I had the wonderful granola bowl with lovely yogurt and berry compote. Excellent coffee too. Table of four and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Served by a wonderful Italian lady who was helpful and fun to be around. One of my favourites breakfasts 😁 Recommended 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇳

We've been going here regularly for years and thankfully, the food is still lovely. But wow was their new menu a journey in the wrong direction. It feels like someone is trying to bait and switch a primarily tourist clientele into spending more for each dish. Beyond the fact that the menu reads like a custom burger shop over 300 year old Irish institution, it actually doesn't make sense. It's cheaper to buy from the right hand side of the menu and avoid the choose your own adventure entirely. And if you're into charting your own path, the pricing still doesn't work. Eggs and bacon together on the left are 11 euros, but Eggs and Bacon separately is 10. Again, not sure what happened here. Oh and they completely took away their kids menu, so you end up ordering stuff from the main menu and wasting a bunch of food. I completely empathize with the fact that running a restaurant is more expensive than ever. But this menu change was a miss.

Very nice shop. They offer products of a higher price class. It is a real pleasure to look at these wonderful and quality things. There is something for everyone. Lots of options to buy gifts. The prices are quite high.
Bogdan M — Google review
Today at the restaurant, we were subjected to extremely mean and racist treatment by a woman named Roberta, who appeared to be the manager as she wasn't wearing a uniform. We had brought our Jellycats, which we bought last Christmas, and placed them on the table to photograph with our food. She then suspected us of stealing them from downstairs and offered no apology. She tried to justify her actions by saying she checked all customers who brought items that might be from the store, but we strongly doubt her claim. What thief would brazenly put the stolen items on the table for a photo and spend an hour and a half eating in a restaurant? If you don't have CCTV or personally see the guests stealing, then the logic of directly asking non-white customers if they stole things implies that you already suspect us of stealing. Definitely racism.

A big disappointment! I have been visiting this venue for lunch/afternoon break for many years. It has been a few months since I was last here. I was disappointed to see that the menu format had changed. It is now a total mess designed to confuse and extract more money from its customers. I have always loved the excellent soups here, usually served with fabulous brown bread. Well seemingly now you can only have soup with a sandwich whether you want it or not. I queried this with one member of staff and was told that soup was only available with a sandwich. I asked for time to have a think about it. Shortly afterwards another staff member approached and I queried this again. This staff member told me of course I could have the soup with just brown bread. I ordered this and when it arrived it was up to the usual standard. When I eventually went to pay I was charged €17. For a bowl of soup with two slices of brown bread??? I queried this and was told that whether you ordered the sandwich with the soup or not it was still the same price. Absolute rip off. The guy on the till kindly reduced the price to the previous price but this was a once off. And it is definitely the last time I will visit Avoca Suffolk St. By the way you can still get soup and bread for this “reduced/normal” price in Avoca Co Wicklow and Rathcoole. Crazy system!!!

The Rolling Donut is a family-run artisan bakery in Dublin, with its first store opening in 2016 and quickly expanding to multiple locations. Founded by Michael Quinlan and now managed by him and his daughters, the bakery has gained popularity for its handcrafted sourdough doughnuts. The newest outlet on Georges Street has attracted dedicated doughnut lovers eager to try limited edition flavors like Oreo marshmallow.
Ordered a delivery for my daughter’s 21st birthday as we would only be in Dublin for a short time. Really easy to order online, and love the fact that you can custom pick which flavours you want. Something for everyone. They were delicious! Would absolutely recommend and we will be back. 😍

The absolute best donuts I've ever had in my life! When I tell you I'd be willing to travel back to Dublin just for 6 of these donuts, I'm not joking (at all). It would have been worth the wait just to chat with the two guys behind the counter. What a pleasant conversation! Anyway... While my husband was around the corner ordering a meat breakfast sandwich, I was looking for somewhere to get a muffin and a hot beverage. I never found a muffin but, when I saw a line outside of a tiny donut shop on Bachelors Walk, my curiosity got the best of me. I am SOOOO glad I waited and grabbed a box of donuts. Every single donut was delicious. I ordered 6, fully planning to share with my husband. He had half a donut and I ate the remaining 5 and a half before we left Dublin. I seriously should have bought another box before heading home.
Tanisha M — Google review
The Rolling Donut is an absolute must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth in Dublin! They offer the best donuts I’ve ever had — perfectly soft, beautifully decorated, and not overly sweet like many others. The variety is incredible — probably the largest selection I’ve seen anywhere — and they even feature fun seasonal creations (the Halloween ones were amazing!). There’s something for everyone here, including delicious vegan options that taste just as good as the regular ones. You can mix and match your favorites — three in a box for about €10, which is great value considering the quality and size. Each donut feels like a little piece of edible art, full of creativity and flavor. Whether you grab a box to share or just treat yourself, The Rolling Donut is a delightful stop that easily lives up to its reputation as Dublin’s donut heaven! 🍩✨

Having passed this place many times in my way in and out of town I finally decided to stop and buy a few things a few months ago. Since then I’ve been back multiple times for the sourdough and soda bread which are excellent and much appreciated at home. Sausage rolls are delicious too!

We have been going to this little bakery for the last year or so, and I have to say all their products have constantly been of high quality and fresh each time we have been there. Selection of pastries is decent, coffee good, staff always kind and friendly. You can really see (and taste) everything is made using good quality ingredients. The Corner Bakery really makes the best pastries in Dublin, we would not go anywhere else now. The only issue would be the parking which can be a challenge at times if you are driving.

The Corner Bakery is the best bakery that I’ve been to in the entire city. I implored you to go and try this bakery, you will be delighted that you did. I have been going here for the last few months and I can’t stop going back time and time again! One of the best bakeries in Dublin Highly recommend to get their signature Tonka bean tart. Jalapeño and cheddar ciabatta is also great! It’s attached to the farmer’s market and always queued up with 10-30mins waiting. Bakery has plenty of coffee options as well but we didn’t try so not so sure to comment. One thing for improvement is that staff was grabbing the loaves by hands and touching other things. Other than that, great pastry options and looking forward to seeing monthly menu.

We came her for breakfast on our last day in Dublin and both ordered the eggs your way breakfast. The food was good and very filling. The eggs were good, potatoes were seasoned well and the toast was very fresh. Orange juice was fresh pressed and the tea came as a cute little set up. Our server wasn’t the most attentive but it didn’t bother us too much. If she came around more I would have ordered more like another beverage and maybe a dessert. After sitting with our empty plates for quiet some time I finally walked to the front counter to pay. I think it’s a little on the pricier side for a breakfast meal but it was an overall enjoyable dining experience.

Wonderful ambiente, great food, extremely attentive and friendly staff. But you better reserve well in advance, especially for lunch. Today I had the real pleasure of trying one of those wonderfully looking sweet buns. I decided to get the almond superdough croissant, and I wasn’t disappointed. The croissant was huge, crispy, and full of that distinctive almond flavor, dusted with powdered sugar on top. The place inside looks interesting – it has vintage vibes. Looked forward to a birthday meal here as part of our trip to Dublin so made a reservation for 2. Thoroughly disappointed, really, quite the letdown. When we arrived, the waitress didn't hear us with the full name of the reservation (the shreaking of American tourists didn't help), and asked us to repeat. We misunderstood and thought first name only, to which she then ridiculed us and said there were a lot of people with that name and that it didn't help. We were then seated adjacent to another table of 2. By adjacent, I mean, we were essentially joining them on a table of four - separated only by a pillar, with both diners sat right next to us. They were uncomfortable, and so were we. During the meal, tables were moved to fit in as many diners as possible - it was almost factory like, at the expense of comfort (and to a degree, personal space and dignity). We ordered a bottle of Zweigelt/Pinot Noir, one of my favourites, but it was vinegary and unpleasant. Certainly not what I am used to from the vineyards of Austria. The starter was charcuterie to share. Our waitress advised that, although it's charcuterie, it doesn't come with any cheese and that this would be an added extra. In fact, it was a small platter with a few slices of cured meat and three pieces of toast, with a random side salad. We were offered rapeseed oil for the toast, not olive oil. It was all quite bizarre. I've prepared better charcuterie platters for guests at my house with produce from a well-known European grocery store. Mains were Irish Black Angus striploin which was tasty but an average steak at best. It was at least cooked medium rare as requested. Vegetables on the side were beyond aldente, rather they were in fact raw. The chips were salted to oblivion and back, and looked more like oven style than homemade. The other main was Wicklow lamb - no option to choose how it was cooked (any sort of quality lamb should be served medium rare, but the question should at least be asked and it wasn't). It came with gristle running through, was tough and again bland in taste served with halved new potatoes parboiled and fried, again all bland - more raw vegetables to boot. Total meal price for two was €160. We had high hopes given the reviews but they must reflect the American clientele with a supremely limited experience of cuisine - easily pleased, there for the photo opportunity and quaint surroundings, more than the meal for which they're paying. One saving grace - the manager/owner followed us out to hand back some debit cards that had fallen out of a handbag. Very kind indeed, for which the review acquired an additional star. I think he was aware that our experience had been subpar, and seemed as embarrassed as us. The opportunity is there for this to be a great culinary destination, but there needs to be a shift away from pandering to tourists. It can either be a tourist trap, or a great restaurant, but I suspect not both.

Delicious food with very knowledgeable servers. Loads of options, including for vegetarians and Vegans. Great selection of drinks, including cocktails and wine. We had starters, main course and desert. I had all the vegan options, all very tasty. The location is gorgeous with a great view of the Liffey if you can get a seat by the window!

Best meal in Dublin. Located above a local bookstore of the same name, it’s a small restaurant that packs a punch. Dining room was cosy but equally bright and airy. All the food was excellent, evidenced by the cleaned plates. Staff were friendly and efficient - thank you for being so accommodating of us bringing a birthday cake that needed some construction and lingering over coffee for an afternoon chat.

Beanhive Coffee is a cozy and laid-back cafe known for its impressive latte art, which attracts coffee enthusiasts to its Dawson Street location. The cafe also offers a full Irish breakfast throughout the day, featuring sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, and toast with beverage options. Despite its name, Beanhive serves both vegan and vegetarian variations of this hearty meal.
It's called Beehive I'd imagine because it's that small. There's only 4 tables which are comfortable but rather close together. The staff were friendly and professional. The cappuccino was excellent and the art was really special....I've never seen anything like that. For the art alone it's worth visiting. I don't eat confectionery products for health reasons, but I can recommend the coffee 100%.

Highly recommend this place! Brilliant latte art and kind staff, who go out their way to accommodate your needs. There are lots of vegan options available which are clearly marked. The only downside is that this place is (understandably) very popular so you might have to wait for a table or get your food/drink to take away if you go at a busy time!

The coziest little café. The staff were so kind and friendly. Their latte art is honestly the cutest thing ever. I tried their matcha and cheesecake and both were super tasty. They’ve got plenty of vegan options. Such a lovely spot, definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Dublin. Highly recommend ☕️🤎

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident, wanting some good coffee, and we stumbled upon a gem! Delicious coffee, matcha, and the best chai latte. They create beautiful coffee arts on the drinks. It's a very cozy place, great for breakfast, for example. We had muffins- there was a huge selection. But what stole our hearts the most was the ciabatta and the lovely staff, who asked if everything was good and were very eager to chat.

Went here on a Friday around 1pm. Everything was amazing 🥰, the sausages and bacon and toast were of really high quality. The bread used for the toast was quite tasty too. The baristas were very friendly and made a cute drawing on my London Fog - which was a great first impression of that delicious drink! I would come back and bring my family and friends next time 😍 Really recommend!

Very small inside with tables very close to each other. I ordered scrambled eggs that were ok, very good portion. The girls working serving and behind the counter are very nice and efficient. The art in the coffee is something else, it's lovely! Not very important but it's good to know there's no costumer toilet.

Very cute cafe. We came here for an Irish breakfast and the friendly barista asked if she could add art to our cappuccinos - and seemed genuinely excited to do so! Very creative and the food was delicious. Nice central location to pop in before a busy day for a good meal in a cozy environment. Especially enjoyed the outdoor seating on a nice day.

The bakery prides itself on freshly baked breads and cakes made in-house daily, while also serving top-notch sandwiches, salads, pies, stews, and soups.
Great breakfast cafe in the heart of Dublin. You have to order at the counter and the place might be crowded, but it is definitely worth a visit. Good drinks and fantastic breakfast food. I mean, look at my breakfast burger :)

We had a late breakfast here while in Dublin. The place is adorable, with a real small diner kind of feel. The food was great! The coffee was excellent. The only downside was the slow service. It took a while for our food to be ready and when I ordered a coffee to go there was no rush to get it done. I sat for 7-10 mins waiting for someone to stop talking and make it. If the service was quicker I would rate it higher. All that said, the staff were very nice and accommodating, just no sense of urgency. Good spot in Dublin, worth a stop!

Dolce Sicily, located on South Anne Street, is a delightful restaurant and pastry shop that offers a range of authentic Italian treats. The menu includes familiar Italian pastas, mains, and desserts, as well as simple breakfast options. The cafe is known for its first-class ingredients and authentically Italian dishes such as mild and fragrant fennel salami.
The best cakes for celebration.. we bought their strawberry pistachio cream cake . It melts so effortlessly in the mouth. Staff is welcoming and good. The prices are bit up than moderate but worth it for a premium quality taste. Even small deserts or cakes are yummiest. Do try!
Sayali J — Google review
The strawberry cake tastes better than the fruit tart, but overall nothing was particularly impressive. MIMOSA CAKE was actually quite nice — refreshing and lemon taste not too sweet. Next time I’ll try the tiramisu that my friend strongly recommended, though I’m not sure I can handle how sweet it looks! The pasta is supposedly handmade, but it felt pretty average. Service was very friendly!
Elaine — Google review
I have mixed feelings about Dolce Sicily. The first time I visited, the experience was much better, but on my second visit it didn’t really transport me to Italy as I had hoped. The highlights here are definitely the desserts — the pistachio tiramisu and pastries in general are very good. However, I have serious doubts about the savory food. I ordered the ossobuco risotto: the meat itself was well-cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the risotto had no taste at all. After waiting 45 minutes for the dish, it was quite disappointing. I mentioned it to the waiter, who kindly took the plate back, but what came next was very bizarre: they brought me a new risotto and literally took half of the ossobuco from my first plate and served it separately on a smaller dish. For a restaurant that is not cheap, I found it unacceptable that the chef didn’t bother to remake the dish properly. Overall, I feel Dolce Sicily needs to improve a lot on consistency and service to win me back — and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Go now, order that pistachio cake (Bronte cake). It was my first time visiting, recommended by a friend. The staff are super friendly, chatty, kind, always up for a laugh, and oh my gosh why are you still reading this, go and order that cake, it's everything. The berry lemonade was divine, almost too good to drink, but I was thirsty, very much so. I also had a coffee (flat white) but that one didn't make the picture as I was too interested in drinking it. Nearly went the same way with the cake, but thanks to my friend I remembered. They've got a lovely outdoor sitting area that offers some shade but gets a bit of sun too, nice to soak in the hustle and bustle of the city while enjoying food/coffee/drinks. Will definitely be back, so much more to try out. Massive kudos to the waiter who joined me in making fun of Fettuccine Alfredo being an actual Italian dish, we had an absolute blast.

I ordered a cake to pick up yesterday to celebrate my birthday a week early because most of my friends will be travelling on my birthday date. We had it this morning! I got the Red Velvet, which is my favourite cake so far!!! All my guests loved it. Most of them didn't know your shop, and I can say that everyone was asking: "Where did you buy this cake? Where is the shop located? ". Well, I just want to say thank you very much!!! I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!! Thank you, thank you and thank you!!

Pistachio tiramisu & pistachio bigne always top notch. Great hospitality from Fabio. Bought also new pistachio vanilla cheesecake, the one was newly made, it was good but didn’t taste any pistachio at all - great idea but needs improvement.

Taste Food Company is a laid-back cafe located near Dublin Castle, offering a diverse all-day menu of classic comfort food and desserts. The cozy street corner setting provides an ideal spot to enjoy breakfast, with options ranging from porridge to hearty full breakfasts, catering to vegetarians and gluten-free diners as well. This family-friendly restaurant in the bustling city center boasts a vibrant atmosphere and colorful decor, making it perfect for entertaining children while serving wholesome dishes including freshly baked bread and hot breakfasts.
I recently took my parents, who were visiting Dublin for the first time, to this wonderful restaurant and it turned out to be one of the highlights of their trip. The place was spotless, fresh, and incredibly comfortable, with beautiful views that made the entire setting even more special. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The staff were all genuinely kind, attentive, and fast. I’d especially like to mention a Brazilian waiter who spoke perfect Spanish. He went out of his way to make sure my parents felt welcome and comfortable, helping them order with ease and making them feel included in the whole experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and full of flavor. The portions were generous, everything came out incredibly quickly, and despite being seated near the kitchen, we didn’t hear a single sound, everything seemed to run in perfect harmony. You can really tell that the team works together calmly and efficiently. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin. It’s absolutely worth it for the food, the views, the service, and the atmosphere! ✨
Gloria G — Google review
I tried out Taste Food Company for breakfast while in Dublin, after hearing good things about their gluten-free options. They have varied menus throughout the day catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the interior is fairly small and typical of a local Cafe. The staff seemed friendly, and the prices were a little on the high side, but nothing more unreasonable than elsewhere in Dublin. I opted for the Gluten Free Mega Breakfast, replacing the black pudding with an extra sausage. My food was disappointing- the potato wedges were far too salty, and the sausages tasted cheap with more thickening agent than meat, I found one egg to be strange on such a large plate of food and the seeded bread as the only gluten-free bread option was also frustrating. My drink was good, I went for a freshly squeezed orange juice but overall based on my experience, I would not return.

Oh… my… god…. The Irish eggs Benedict is hands down the best eggs Benedict I have had in my life. Everything was made in house, the best black pudding I have eaten as well in my life, a phenomenal blend of oats forward. Who ever the chef is, they are absolutely a genius in the kitchen. The outside seating is very nice, warm even in the cold. To top it off, the front of house service was very attentive and helpful. Do not go anywhere else in Dublin for breakfast. THIS is the place to go. You will be doing yourself a disservice by not trying this food. Thank you so much.

I keep wondering why this place has 4.4. in reality it’s strong 3. the meat on the burger was dead fried, the bun stunk of fish. Falafel wrap was very plain…and definitely way too expensive for the quality.

This is one of the best brunches I’ve ever had, not just in Dublin. The service was fantastic, everyone was so kind, and we got to sit outside in the sun. They also have a heated patio. The smashed avocado & smoked chorizo was unbelievable - perfect balance of flavors and textures, my husband loved his Croque Monsieur, and the pancakes were fluffy and sweet without being overly so. The three sauces they come with were also delicious. Highly, highly recommend this place!

We had 2 birthdays on the night . Our waiter was super . She had lovely energy. The food as it went by on the plates is what swayed our choice of dinner. This place has good food, good ambiance, and good service. Its located beside the river, and they have some tables just beside the river, and its a lovely view. Indoor ambiance of place is very classy. I My top dishes would be Tempura Prawns, Grilled Crusted Cod, and side of French Beans. Prawns and Cod were both very fresh. Cod was made nice crispy on one side, and sauce was also very tasty. The blue cheese combination with french beans was extraordinary. Chocolate Brownie and Coffee Cream was very tasty, and I would go back for this. We ordered a few more things. Irish Crab Salad was okayish, nothing bad or good. Chips were bit soggy, and pita with Buratta was very dry and hard. Cocktails were good.

Went for a friend's birthday Celebration. Food was good, great selection, freshly cooked explaining waiting times. Jennifer was great, good connection. One of the my friend's order was missed out, waited longer but rectified as soon as Jennifer were made aware. Gnocchi was the least desirable in town. Its my to go to in every italian restaurant i go, and would never come back bec of this. There's literally 10 bits of potatoes and carrots in every gnocchi there is. The saving grace? The sundae and the brownies. For the value of money, wont come back.

Love this place! It has its own unique atmosphere, a great little market, healthy food, and friendly staff. Still, there are plenty of delicious options, and the overall vibe keeps me coming back.

Please keep in mind I’m a basic Texan and this food was from another planet. I had the meat sandwich. Weird ingredients and terrible flavor. My wife got the granola bowl and it was also not good. No real service as you place the order at a counter and they bring it to you. To be totally fair to the owners this appears to be a super popular place and was packed. So I blame our experience on our lack of knowledge about these dishes and flavors. But still we deemed it the worst meal of our lives.

My go-to brunch place. It has a lovely atmosphere, is dog friendly, has a tiny shop inside it. They don't take bookings, if you arrive later in the noon, you might have to queue for about 5-6 mins but it's absolutely worth it. They have a very limited menu and the food is very tasty. Their pastries and desserts are fantastic and are different every week I believe. You will always find this place buzzing in the afternoons for brunch. They stop serving food at 3 pm. Lovely place for a nice brunch with your friends or partner or even to eat alone and bring your dog 🐶

I went here more than a month ago with my friends, for the vibes of the place alone I'd give it a 10/10 but the food unfortunately did not meet my expectations, nothing wrong with it but it wasn't hitting the spot for some reason, the flavours were just okay for me personally, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich of the day which was onion fritters and mint sauce in it, as an Indian myself I'm not unfamiliar with the flavours but they could've done more with the sandwich. The staff was nice and warm as well. Again, the place isn't bad, just not for me I fear.

Ann’s Bakery: A Hidden Gem of Heavenly Feasts on Henry Street Today, I discovered an absolute treasure on Henry Street – Ann’s Bakery – and it’s safe to say my taste buds are forever grateful! Their roast carvery menu, priced at an unbelievable €17.95, is pure magic. This incredible deal includes a mouthwatering main, a decadent dessert, and a comforting cup of tea or coffee. I went for the Turkey & Ham with all the trimmings, and oh my goodness – the thick-cut slices of meat were so tender they practically melted in my mouth. The portions were so generous that I flirted with the ultimate sin of gluttony, but still couldn’t finish it all. Not to worry – I left with a bonus second dinner to enjoy later! Let’s talk about dessert. The first one was heavenly, but I couldn’t resist sneaking an extra. No regrets – Ann’s desserts are as irresistible as the mains. What makes Ann’s Bakery even more special is its cozy, hidden upstairs seating area. It’s like discovering a secret haven of quality food and unbeatable value, right in the city center. If you haven’t visited Ann’s Bakery yet, do yourself a favor and go! This hidden gem will blow you away with its incredible food, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a dining experience you’ll keep coming back for!

A bit rude lady in the cash = not friendly customer service ... Cakes with strawberry are only for display she meant in her "own" style and said they are not for sale....not sure whether that is true!! Maybe it was a bit far for her to reach🤫. THE WORST PLACE IN DUBLIN! First of all, they delete all the bad comments you put on them. As for the site, the workers are very rude, especially the blonde manager and the teenagers who work, they laugh at you and do nothing to understand you apart from being racist! They try to scam the tourist so BE VERY CAREFUL! In addition to the quality of the food, it leaves a lot to be desired, they keep the food trays for two days, health should go to check the hygienic measures. IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

Using my husband's account to leave a positive review here. I just want to thank the lovely staffs in GFP Santry for catering us when I organised a baby shower for my work colleague. They have made the celebration so special and wonderful. The staffs who took care of us today are so attentive and approachable. Special mention to Lisa who was so good in doing my requests to have a personalised brunch menu and for doing small sweets goodie bags for all the guests that attended. Also food and drinks were especially good too. The Mango Chili cocktail was so refreshing especially to cool us off during the whole meal amongst all the other drinks served. Many thanks also for allowing us to bring in a cake for our mommy to be and they even kept it in the back until we're ready for it and served it for us. You guys are amazing! We will for sure continue to have other celebrations here in the future. God bless! Thank you Aisling(the lady who served us and to her colleagues (both males that i did not get the name) you three have been awesome the whole time and so patient with our large group! Keep up the good work! -Emilyn ❤️

The order taker seems not happy doing her job. Also, the server look at me like can I afford to pay? Just because I am brown. I know she is not from her too. Just sad reality in the world of service especially in food industry. You come because you want the ambiance but they gave already a wrong vibe. We are just visiting Ireland. I meat real irish they were very nice. Hopefully these 2 lady server should learn how to smile and be nice when approaching customers. Just my piece of experienced.

Our first stop in Ireland from Dublin airport and it was recommended to us by the car rental agent. Good choice. Varied menu and most things looked good. Our food was very good. Can recommend this restaurant.

We ordered catering from the Gourmet Food Parlour in Santry this month for our son’s christening and could not be happier with the service and the food. Right from the beginning Ciara and Linda in the office were so helpful in giving guidance on numbers we would need to feed our party of 45-50. Once ordered, payment the week of the event was easily and professionally done through a payment link. On the day itself, the food was set up by one of team members who was extremely professional and courteous. The cold food arrived on lovely heavy silver platters while the hot food was kept warm with bains maries. The food itself was exceptional from the sandwiches to the mini desserts. All our guests were impressed with the spread, with most asking to bring something home, meaning we’d little to no waste. I would not hesitate to recommend Gourmet Food Parlour for catering to anyone. We were so delighted with everything and I look forward to the next big family occasion so we can order from them again.

Stopped here for breakfast on a weekday. Was quite crowded. The staff were friendly and courteous. The overall breakfast experience was nice and they had a couple of veg and vegan options too. The tropical smoothie was delicious. Vegan breakfast was decent with the vegan sausages. The fresh orange juice as advertised in the menu seemed to be from a carton and not freshly squeezed as we had expected.

Myself and a friend had dinner and dessert here 2 weeks ago and I had to write a review about the food because it was so enjoyable! The mussels were a highlight for me and I really loved the grilled chicken skewers. We were greated at the door and seated quickly, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was cosy yet elegant, couldn't recommend this restaurant enough for lovely, affordable food.

Today I went to Bar Rua to watch the NFL game, and I loved it. Bernardo was there the whole time, attentive to our needs and making us feel comfortable. Lisandra was our waitress, super friendly and lovely, she gave us great recommendations. Excellent service and atmosphere, definitely a great place to hang out with friends.

Amazing service and fantastic cocktails! A huge shoutout to Nico, who was working behind the bar!! 🫰 He was not only very friendly, but his passion for making cocktails really showed. Every drink he served was a work of art and tasted incredible. Will definitely be back soon!

Had a great time at Bar Rua. Got served by Eve who was very helpful and enthusiastic in explaining what makes a good Guinness and nitro stout (patience, two pours and frequent sales). Promptly took two pints and a half and had a great time otherwise. Highly recommended for their great stouts and good atmosphere. (Depicted are two stouts in different stages: One ready to drink and one still waiting to be set)

Poor quality food, small portions, same prices but as the all Centrall Dublin. Decent beers, pricies. Service kind of fuzzy, we were kind enough to insist to pay.

A stylish bar and restaurant that blends a cozy, modern atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it great for both casual evenings and special occasions. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and pairs well with their creative cocktails. While prices lean toward the higher side, the quality and overall experience make it worthwhile. A strong choice for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed yet refined night out. While Nicolas is an excellent bartender who really elevates the experience. He’s attentive, welcoming, and has a great ability to read the room — always knowing when to engage and when to give space. His cocktails are consistently well-balanced and beautifully made, showing real skill and creativity behind the bar. On top of that, his friendly personality makes guests feel comfortable and valued. Nicolas delivers both professionalism and warmth, making every visit memorable.

Slice is a cozy and charming cafe located in the northside suburb of Stoneybatter. As a sister-cafe to the Cake Cafe, it offers thoughtfully sourced cafe fare, craft beer, select wine, and delicious slices of cake. The menu includes hearty breakfast options like sausage and avocado scramble on sourdough as well as more virtuous choices such as various porridge options catering to those with dairy alternatives. Additionally, Slice is celebrating Pancake Day with three special pancake offerings.
I walked into this café by chance and I’m so glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. It’s always busy — and for a good reason! Everyone wants to eat here because it’s really that good. Even if there’s a queue, it moves fairly quickly, and trust me — it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Great breakfast spot in Stoneybatter. Meals are prepared fresh and the service is friendly. I had the hash browns (see photo) which were incredible. Others in my party said the pancakes were delicious and the matcha was spot on. Terrific option if you’re in the neighborhood!

We stumbled upon Slice in Dublin 7 by chance while looking for a coffee nearby — and what a great find it was! After ordering our drinks, we saw the staff carrying some absolutely delicious-looking pancakes to another table, and we couldn’t resist ordering them ourselves. They were incredible — fluffy, tasty, and beautifully presented. The staff were so, so friendly and welcoming, and the food was genuinely amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Stoneybatter is our favorite neighborhood in Dublin. We stay there every time we're in town. Slice is some of the best food you'll have in all of Ireland. It's incredibly fresh and the menu is ever changing with care and precision. The service and atmosphere is wonderful and don't forget a sausage roll to go! We can't wait to come back and enjoy another great meal at Slice 💜

Plate filled with plenty of great food, great prices and savours. Staff was super nice. Not a lot of spots inside, some spots outside. We were here for 9.40am and most of the seats inside were taken and some spots outside too. It was full by 10.30 when we left, so beware of possible waiting time, but it is fully worth it! Dogs allowed inside 🥰

Hello Jack - I appreciate your full refund . I checked my account and it’s been credited. Thank you . 28/10/25 Hi Jack I appreciate your reply to my review 5 days ago . You said you were going to issue a full refund ? Just wondering what your intentions are with this . I only ask because you said it in your reply . I haven’t seen any refund in my account . Respectfully Andy Has to be said …… Nice little cafe . But Not impressed with the food . Bit disappointed that the staff actually presented us with what was obviously stale reheated hard oil soaked hash brown . The veg and leaves with it were old and stale also . And I asked for sauce on the side which was not on the side - it was in a dish in the middle of my plate taking up half the space .so basically a tiny portion . And at there prices I would expect more . We got one drink each off the bill for this . But when the staff brought the replacement hash brown - it wasn’t much better . The coffee was lovely First visit . Not sure about a return .

Charming Cafe with Room for Improvement My visit to sample the highly recommended pancakes was met with anticipation, perhaps too high of one. While the pancakes were delicious, they didn't quite achieve the level of brilliance I had hoped for. The berry sauce topping, while flavorful, erred on the sweeter side. I must say, though, the cream was exquisite, but I wished there had been a tad more of it. As a devoted connoisseur of pancakes and French toast, I hold every dining experience to high standards, and these expectations can be demanding. On a positive note, the coffee here was rich and satisfying. The service from the staff was a shining star; they were unfailingly courteous and attentive, even when the place was bustling with people. One small downside is the cafe's size. They do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, but Dublin's unpredictable weather means it's often off-limits due to rain and wind. This cafe is a cozy spot with potential for even more greatness. The pancakes are good, and a slight tweak to the berry sauce's sweetness, bigger size and a tad more cream would make them superb. Paired with great coffee and exceptional service, it's a place worth returning to, with hopes of witnessing it achieve its full potential.

I know this place has alot of 5 star reviews but for me it waa really dissapointing. It is the only cafe on Bull Island and by default the atmosphere is perfect because you're outside on a fabulous Irish island sitting by the sea with wild birds at your feet and landing on your table, but this has nothing to do with the cafe. The seating provided by the cage isn't great, it's OK. The toilet you can use for only 30 cents by tapping your bank card, if it supports your bank card, if not... tough... yet my card is supported for me to pay for their food and drink... on tthat, note the toasties were poor, the drinks were just OK. The service was so slow if I hadn't paid in advance I would have left.

We loved this place. Honestly the best restaurant we have been during our whole journey in Ireland. The menu is simple but it does not need anything else to be perfect. The burgers were amazing. Simple burgers with traditional ingredients but with an amazing product quality. We also liked the sweet potatoes a lot. Per haps the chips were the “weakest “ dish we have ordered but anyways, they were great. Amazing value for the money as we paid less than 20€ pp. Last but not least, the service is AMAZING.

🍔 B as in BUNSEN. 🍔 B as in BEST BURGER in town (arguably). 🍔 B as in the most BEAUTIFULLY simple menu. It's simple, DO GO here if you simply want an unfussy yet mouth-watering juicy burger, no great options, no confusing varieties, etc. Just include pickles, tomato and cheese to your liking, add one of three types of fries, top up with a beverage of your choice and DONE. Pro hint: come during non rush hours (just check Google maps) and you won't die queueing. It's walk-ins only.

Loved the options and the quality of the burger was first rate. I'm from Canada and have travelled the US and Canada extensively and this is honestly the first time I've eaten a burger ( 2 patties) without tons of juice/fat on the plate. The meat melted in your mouth and the taste was incredible. Chips (Fries) are nothing special and definitely not worth close to 5 Euro, but the burger more than made up for it.

I’ve already been to this restaurant twice because I just had to come back, that’s how good it is!! The cheeseburger is a must and I’d go for the waffle fries over the cheesy ones any day. Bobos can be a nice cosy burger experience. Staff are super friendly. Shout out to Onur. Food is ok. I had the Cashel Burger. The serving of blue cheese on the burger is nice. I find the burgers quite dense but would like to see them do a softer, flakier smash burger style. Fries are quite ok again. Nothing outstanding. The chicken goujons taste very fresh. The chicken is really tender and good quality and the serving of sauces they come with are delicious. Overral a decent experience. 👍

Krewe North is a delightful eatery that captures the essence of New Orleans right in the heart of the northside. This laid-back spot serves up an array of cocktails, wine, and beer alongside classic Cajun dishes like po' boys and jambalaya.
Highly recommend for a slightly different and refreshing Cajun-inspired taste experience and funky vibe. We had a shared calamari starter, crispy grits and jambalaya for mains with the mac-n-cheese side and topped it off with a shared eton mess dessert. Presentation and flavour was flawless and I particularly enjoyed the interesting taste combination of the grits, which is the first time I've ever tried this dish. Portion sizes are substantial but staff were happy to box our leftovers to go. (Bizarrely, they won't do that in the North. Something about food safety laws, but seems like an incredible waste.) We had a "few" cocktails. They were impressively presented and garnished. While they tasted lovely, for the price of them (€14 for most), you'd like a little more of an alcohol kick to them. All in all, you'll enjoy a visit here, unless you like your cocktails as strong as a vodka martini or a negroni. In which case, you'll still enjoy the food, and the pretty colours of the cocktails!!

The food was tasty—I especially loved the prawn tacos! We ordered: - Prawn tacos (the best part of the meal) - Chicken tenders and fries (came with beef and cheese) - A glass of wine and a Corona However, the place was extremely busy, which made the experience less enjoyable. The total came to €65, which is reasonable for the food, but the crowded atmosphere was a downside. If you don’t mind the bustle, it’s worth a try—just maybe not at peak hours.

Chicken tenders are amazing!!! Went with a group of 5. Nice lighting and atmosphere. Service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and polite. Food is super. Get the tenders!!!! Daughter is a celiac. She was delighted to hear much of the menu can be served gluten free. Will be back, great spot.

Nice atmosphere, trendy feel to the place. The food portions are BIG! So either come hungry, or go easy on the plates! Super tasty though, recommend the eggplant dip and carrots sides.

good food, a touch on the spicier side. Very large portions (see "side of fries") below. Would go again. We walked in for dinner & drinks for 2, no reservation, no problem

Absolutely gorgeous, can’t fault the place at all. From the atmosphere, decor, staff and flavoursome food with generous portion sizes 10/10!

Food was so good that we went back the next day! We were only in Dublin for 2 nights and stumbled across Krewe on the first. I had the double stack cheeseburger that had crispy maple bacon on top - this was UNREAL. Also - you must try the pecan pie and beignets!!! Our server was Clara and was exceptional and so so lovely. On the second night I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was just as delicious and our server was Eoin who was kind enough to sing happy birthday to my brother.

We’ve opted for the daily special (Tagliatelle with shrimp). It was delicious. Only star I am taking off is for the value/quality ratio. Service was great as well as a surprise for birthday celebration at the end. Would come back for sure.

Nestled in the vibrant Smithfield area, Proper Order Coffee Co is a delightful blend of artistry and science, where coffee enthusiasts can revel in an inviting atmosphere. With its sleek white and forest green decor complemented by wooden stools and cutting-edge brewing equipment, this café truly embodies the essence of a modern coffee shop. The menu is refreshingly simple yet sophisticated, featuring expertly crafted espresso drinks made from carefully sourced beans.
Stopped by at 1pm on a Sunday and it was hopping. Cortado and cardamom bun were excellent. They serve DAK roasted coffee in a nice open space with plenty of standing tables. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit this might not be the shop for you.
Keith M — Google review
The place is absolutely pristine and so aesthetic — I loved the design, the color palette, and the overall vibe. They serve seriously delicious coffee, and their pastries are just as good (yes, I tried both, no regrets). Now, here’s the thing: we were helped by three different girls at different times, and… let’s just say the energy was giving tired. A smile or a little warmth wouldn’t hurt, especially when you’re serving people who, like you, work with people all day too. A great place deserves great service to match the vibe, ya know?
César L — Google review
I lost counts on how many times I’ve grabbed coffee from Proper. The shop is spacious. It can be quite busy, especially on weekends. It’s always clam and nice to see people chatting and reading books. I love reading my own books with a freshly brewed coffee here as well. However, compared to other coffee shops, the prices are quite high already, and today I found the summer drinks are even more expensive. A strawberry matcha is labeled for €7.1 The small piece of lemon cake I got is €7.
Estelle J — Google review
High-level coffee the real deal! The pastries are extremely good and definitely worth trying. It’s not exactly a place for a full brunch, but it’s perfect for a good chat and an excellent coffee. The staff are amazing, super fast, and friendly. Honestly, it’s one of the best coffees in Dublin in my opinion. I highly recommend it! ☕✨

I was really looking forward to visiting Proper Order while in Dublin. Before trips I try and do a lot of research to find cafes that fit what I’m looking for since I work in specialty coffee also. It was pretty close to closing time but I wished there had been a few more pastry options, which is not their fault. I got a drink on the Summer Menu called the Big Apple Spro Tonic. It was actually really great and I enjoyed it! I also wanted a milk based drink for take away. I got an iced latte to go (with sweetener) and it was awesome at first. The longer I drank it l, there was an off taste that I couldn’t place. Overall, good coffee, good service and a great space. Thankful to go on a weekday because I can imagine it’s very busy on the weekend.

Most definitely our favorite coffee spot in Dublin. Excellent pour of espresso and the pastries are always delightful. Easy place to relax during the day and catch up on a few things. I will say though, if you have a phobia of bees be careful when wandering in. They like to hang out near the honey soaked pastries haha. Definitely have me a heart attack 😅
Paul B — Google review
Amazing place & lovely staff with a new concept of standing tables. A bit pricier than usual coffee. An 8oz cappuccino costed me 6€ which is well above average, but the quality of the coffee was really good. Ps : the pastry was a limited menu item from elliots which is a short walk away
Sukalpa S — Google review
The two Asian staff members working there were quite unfriendly, with a bit of a scowl and body language that made it clear they weren’t happy to be there. Even when there was no one else waiting, they pushed me to order quickly while I was still looking at the menu. The place itself was messy, with dirty cups, glasses and plates left lying around, I even had to clear a table myself just to sit down. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Morning, formerly known as Meet in the Morning, is a popular spot on Pleasants Street offering a delightful combination of coffee and pastries. The cafe has recently expanded into a larger space with outdoor seating, providing the perfect setting to enjoy their sophisticated and perfectly balanced coffee. Their imaginative menu features healthy options like Eggs & Greens alongside indulgent treats such as freshly-made doughnuts. The ever-rotating menu showcases sourdough buns, fluffy doughnuts, and flaky pastries.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast and my husband and I ordered the Cinnamon morning bun, pain au chocolat, and a twice-baked croissant with pepperoni, pesto, and parmesan cheese. The cinnamon morning bun was out of my kid dreams and the perfect marriage between cinnamon toast as a child and the flakey butteriness of a croissant. The pain au chocolat was exactly what you needed it to be and delicious. I did not get a chance to try the twice-baked croissant but my husband didn’t rave about it. The girl at the counter was very friendly and we enjoyed our quick stop in for breakfast!

Good coffee, very well made. The food was on the pricy end, but it was really good. The person that took our order seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else at the moment. It was close to closing, but that still gave us a bad vibe.

Best cookie I've had in Dublin. Most cookies out there have milk chocolate but this one's combination of dark choc and salt was top notch. Perfect texture too, crunchy on the outside and gluey inside. Totally recommend the look of the other treats and foccaccias they had too. Coffee was good but nothing special, though. Nice quiet atmosphere in a calm Street just outside the city centre. The bakery is right next door. There's a some tables inside and a few outside. The staff is nice.

Cute little take away cafe with no seating area. The chocolate hazelnut sourdough thing for 3.50€ was tasty, so was the cinnamon bun. 4.50€ for the size of the chai latte is a little overpriced IMO. Still a good place to get a snack when you’re in the area.

Lovely independent coffee house. Great for brunch / lunch. Delicious greens and tasty food. Also a small outside area if it's sunny (good luck!). However there is no Wifi. Coffee could be a little better compared to other places in Dublin. But the lunch menu is amazing and the service is really friendly. We recommend it.

Amazing place with great coffee ( I judge by the Cappuccino which was not too hot, perfect milk foam and taste) and delicious sourdough buns 🤤 You can dine in or take out (focaccia available for take out). Super nice stuff. Definitely recommend for a coffe stop or breakfast/ brunch 👌

I love everything about Industry, it is my go to place for gifts for hard to by for people in my life! Their salads are also incredibly delicious. I also love the bag I bought in Barn, I used as a nappy bag with my first child. Always find the staff to be informative and cheerful, it’s great! Thank you ❤️ ps, their floor is my favourite.

Love this shop! Independently owned (which is becoming a rarity in Dublin), it’s got a soul and sense of responsibility that you don’t find in the bigger chains. They stock gorgeous furniture, lighting, home accessories, lifestyle and unique gifts. Many of the suppliers are unique to Ireland and every time I visit there’s a new brand to discover. The in store cafe offers the best chocolate brownie you will ever taste!
Marie V — Google review
I love this store and it's always a go to and place I recommend people go while visiting Dublin from the US. The brands are high quality and stylish - I've bought everything from lamps to candles (they're fantastic) to stationary to pet accessories and often buy home gifts for friends. The staff are friendly and they also have great coffee. The watermelon tote bags they sell, the proceeds of which go to organizations aiding Palestinians during the ongoing atrocities against them, also provides a small way to show support for people in the most need. I will continue to support businesses that value humanity and have the courage to show support (I cannot believe as humans we've reached such a point that small acts of humanity are shunned by some and who then aim to hurt small, local shops). Remember that supporting a group of people being intentionally targeted does not equate to antisemitism.

Industry & Co. is hands down my favourite interiors shop in Dublin. Although I often buy gifts for others there, it’s the place I love treating myself the most! A trip to the city centre isn’t complete without a potter there. Their other two stores close by - kids and lifestyle - are also definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!
Helen C — Google review
I love their carefully chosen pieces — each one feels like it was picked with a deep understanding of great design for homes. But just as much as I admire their taste, I value their sensitivity to human rights and awareness of what’s happening in the world. It means a lot to know that beauty here isn’t just skin-deep - it’s grounded in care, ethics, and empathy.

The cafe features a vibrant salad counter brimming with grains and vegetables, alongside traditional Polish family recipes like goulash and blueberry yeast buns that add a unique twist to the menu.
I visited this coffee shop because Google recommended it as the best in the area, and it lived up to the hype. The cozy ambiance made me feel like I could easily spend the entire day here. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The coffee was decent, but it wasn’t particularly my cup of tea (I’m not a coffee expert, so I may not be the best judge). However, I’m definitely coming back! 🙌🏼

Cloud Picker was the first coffee I had when I arrived in Ireland — at the airport, actually. I still remember how bright, fruity, and pleasantly sweet it was. I dropped by this branch recently and only bought some beans to brew at home — a bit of a shame because the space looked lovely. I got their decaf this time, and I’m excited to try it soon. The café isn’t very big, but it has a stylish interior and cozy vibe that makes you want to stay. Definitely coming back to enjoy a cup in-store next time.

Superb little coffee place. The staff is universally sweet, the atmosphere is super friendly. Our cappuccinos (regular and oat) were perfect, and the pastries - to die for. Special mention for pistachio-berry double baked croissant, a unique remedy for a morning after (too many) Guinness.

Sheridans Cheesemongers is an Irish-owned cheese shop franchise with multiple locations in Dublin and throughout the country. For over 20 years, they have been supplying a wide variety of Irish and European cheeses to chefs across Dublin. At their St. Stephens Green location, visitors can enjoy tastings of Irish cheeses, including the popular Young Buck County Down blue cheese. In addition to cheeses, Sheridans also offers cold meats and specially selected sandwiches at their South Anne Street shop.
OMG if you love cheese you HAVE to stop in this little shop! Incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff happy to let you try anything. Walked out with a mini cheeseboard for one with 4 different Irish cheeses for under 15 euro.

Do yourself a favor and stop by this cheese shop on your way to your next stop. The Irish cheddar is really good (bought twice), and all we've tried is amazing. You won't regret it a single bit!

Dear reader, I love this cheese shop. I still dream about it. I visited on vacation in Dublin and it was an excellent experience! The guy who helped me was friendly and very knowledgeable! I joked about the “cheese monster” line from Always Sunny and he told me he also watches the show. He pointed me to several delicious cheeses and I tasted all of them, 10/10 my taste buds would recommend. I also got some honey and black butter to go with the cheese I bought and I really wish I could zap myself back to Sheridans to get more! I put it all in a little canvas bag I bought there and even though I’m back home I use it for everything, to remind me of the fond memories of that visit.

Visited in June. Not your Monty Python cheese shop - although they do have Wensleydale. Great little cheese shop off Grafton with select farm cheeses from all over Ireland. Prices are fair given the quality (ca 25-30 euro / kg). Attentive and knowledgable staff. They will cut to order for picnic / takeaway.

A wonderful gem of a store! It's pretty small but incredibly packed with flavour and variety! The staff are very helpful and know their cheese perfectly! Been to both Sheridans now and been delighted each time!

Very friendly staff who worked hard to help us find some amazing cheeses. We got a taste of about 10 different cheeses and they didn’t force any purchase on us, though we did buy some amazing Irish cheeses. There are a lot of European cheeses too. Cheese heaven.

This is a must visit for any cheese lover. Nick was kind enough to help me find some amazing local cheeses to bring home with me. The varieties ran the spectrum from cow to sheep to goat, both young and aged. They also have a plethora of other gourmet products, so if you are a cook, or love to cook or eat, make sure you stop in. I grabbed some local salt too.

We came here for some brunch on Saturday morning. The food was good although a bit salty and I would've loved if the squash came with some bread since it had a lot of feta cream and only two slices of squash. The service was very friendly and the brasilian music that was playing created a nice atmosphere.

My new favourite place for Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, breakfast/brunch served all day even during the week (last order 2.30pm). The benedict are called "Pulled Ham" on the menu and the eggs royale are called "Smoked Salmon" and as a bonus both have spinach as well. Absolutely delicious and the presentation is perfect. Coffe and orange juice were also great!
Elena G — Google review
Went here on a friday for lunch however, the service wasn’t the best. After being seated we already have in mind what we want to order but it was difficult to get the attention of the waitresses because they were so busy but we waited patiently. A family of 4 arrived and was seated on the table behind us and quickly got their food because they ordered in the till. While our table kept being signalled to wait by one of the waitresses for the second time, at this point 25mins has already passed. And the table behind us were finished eating at this point. I stood up and asked one of the waitresses (younger lady) if it’d be best to order in the till and she pointed me to the till so I kinda assumed that was a yes. The other waitress approached us and asked us to have a seat and wait and she’ll come to us (she was the same one who signalling to wait, but she kept setting up/clearing tables instead of taking our orders). I was on my way back to our table when the lady in the till/barista/waitress kept asking us what the matter was, but at this point I didn’t want to engage because I have already spoken with the other two waitresses. So I was like “we just wanted to order” she then walks us back to our table and said “you have to stay on your seats, we have waitresses around and one was just behind you.” She sounded frustrated and she then took our order. I got my soup and bread within 5mins, but there wasn't any soup spoon 🤦🏻‍♀️ and it took them another 25 mins for them to get to my mom’s order salmon and buckwheat salad which was just in the till, they just need to grab it but they have apologised because they’ve totally forgotten it. There was a gentleman seated alone in the table beside us, he got there first before us but no one took his order so after a while all he managed to order was iced latte and a glass of water because his hour lunch break was already over. I was lucky enough that I can have a 2 hour break. The ambience is good, it’s nice and quiet, I like the interior too and food is good but the whole experience could’ve been better.
Jazz B — Google review
This gaff is dead, low music, ugly interior with kitsch decorations, no atmosphere whatsoever and food was pretty abysmal. My chicken sandwich wasn’t fresh in any sense but it was €17. It’s trying hard to be fine dining and completely forgets that it’s a cafe. All the fancy branding in the world won’t hide glaring foundation flaws in this place, don’t bother with this kip

I work in specialty coffee in the United States, and this was the best coffee I had in Dublin! This cafe was not on my list, but just so happened to stumble across it on my trip. The baristas were so kind and patient while I decided which pour over to get. They even suggested some after I shared which kinds of coffees/processes I typically enjoy. The filter I picked was perfect as well as the take away iced matcha. It was really fun to look in the retail spaces upstairs as well. Situated in Drury Street and with Covid aware spacing this vegetarian/vegan restaurant is one of the best I've been to in Dublin for fresh tasty food served by super helpful and friendly staff. Their is an extensive menu which includes soups, very imaginative burgers to suit every taste accompanied by as many salads as you choose, which then reflects on the the price. You can create your own blend of healthy drinks or have a nice treat etc. Best of all, you can take away a ready made frozen meal to have later! I will certainly be back, on the busy day I was there, staff went out if their way to bring out a table for my sister and I and put 2 chairs together to ensure our comfort. Great staff, so genuinely happy to help. Makes a place memorable and speaks of their overall ethos of great food, caring staff, equals happy customers! Enjoy the photos, we were enjoying the food so much we started eating before I took the photos of the burgers!

I loved this little restaurant. I happened to be up in Dublin and came across this little eatery by chance. I have to say, the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was so tasty - I ordered a vegan burger (which was prepared I believe by a sister establishment) came with the tastiest of fries. I can safely say it was one of the most satisfying and cheap meals I've had in a long time. The only negative was the seating seemed to be situated over an open drain, which wasn't the most appetising.

Went here today to have lunch, I had just stepped inside, looking to see what Id order when a staff member(tall dark haired lady I believe she is the owner/ part owner) spoke very abruptly and rudely to me, “are you ordering for yourself and the man sitting outside” I said yes she replied min order of €8 we are very busy. Whilst it was busy there was no queue....This is a place Ive got food from regularly for years, back to when they first opened in the powerscourt centre. There food is always excellent and that hasn't changed, however the manner of this lady will ensure customers don't return. I was so taken aback by her rudeness , I should have said something to her but its such a public space it was hard to do so. I hope others in the business may address her bad manner.
