Aura De Paul Swimming Pool, located in Dublin 7, is a popular spot for both adults and kids to enjoy swimming lessons and aqua fit classes. The facility also features a jacuzzi for added relaxation. With family changing rooms available, it's an ideal place for stress-free swimming with kids. The staff are known for their friendliness and helpfulness, creating a welcoming community atmosphere.
Staff are great! Friendly and helpful, and make the entire place feel very welcoming. There's a real community spirit here. I use it for personal swims, aqua aerobics - the most fun fitness class mainly due to the other attendees and great instructors I am doing the L3 swim lessons to improve technique and endurance, and have seen a huge improvement in just 7 weeks. It's not the fanciest place, but it's clean and it's so welcoming - I'd take that over fancy any day.
Riceal M — Google review
Clean pool, lovely staff, really nice patient children's swimming teachers. But now unfortunately the price has gone up to €105 for eight, 40 minute lessons, and the number of children in each group has also gone up. 11 children in a goldfish level class today. Way too many.
Mary O — Google review
Love the place, the staff is also very friendly and helpful. People from the pool are usually respectful. Great pool, clean and warm water. One star less due to toilets, sometimes they are not clean. Other than that, very nice place to swim. Recommend especially for people with kids, but even for just adults who want to swim is a great place.

Today, I took my daughter to this swimming pool. We bought tickets at the counter at 1:39 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., the staff said that the pool was closing and we had to leave. My daughter and I had just entered not long ago and hadn't had enough fun before we had to leave. I went to talk to the staff at the counter. We are not regular customers here, and they should have reminded us that the place closes at 2:30 when we bought the tickets. If we had been told earlier that we could only play for half an hour, we would have gone to another swimming pool. The staff looked at our tickets and said, "You came at 1:39 p.m., and 50 minutes is enough for both of you." But do they think we should jump into the pool right after buying the tickets? Don't we need time to change clothes? Anyway, this experience was very bad for my daughter and me. The staff at the counter didn't remind us that the pool was closing soon when we bought the tickets, and afterwards, they didn't give any explanation for their negligence.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE FOR LESSONS. I have been coming here since 2018 and the place has become progressively worse. The good teachers disappear and you are left with the rejects. Squashing too many students into the one area. They are after one thing and one thing only. Your money. It is never clean and the cubical situation is ridiculous. And the staff do not help. Spend your money elsewhere.
Samantha C — Google review
Kids swim teachers are really lovely, although I’m not certain there is a lot of progression through the swim term, each class much the same as the last so no real progress being made but they are great fun and good for water confidence. Only issue would be the changing rooms, they are old which is fine but the tiles that have fallen off the walls remain on the floor, one in one of the bathrooms has been on the floor for the past two weeks now, making me wonder how often it is cleaned in there.
Jessie B — Google review
Swimming lessons - There is only one Teacher who was supper funny, playing with kids and make their lessons the best experience. Everyone will know who he is as all parents were praying to get him. I spoke with others and noone was satisfied as kids were running away and crying all the time. Teachers were so not interested, no smile, like a robots but dying ones as there was no energy.. very boring lessons, I would run away from there. I took my child from there and now when hes going to another pool hes different child, he cant wait for his swimming lessons.
Dragana V — Google review
I booked Aura De Paul as I couldn't get a space in my usual pool and didn't want to miss out on my daily swim. The building is nice and bright with a family feel to it. The staff are very welcoming. Unfortunately, the water is just not deep enough which is a massive drawback. The lanes are also quite narrow, you couldn't have more than two people at any given time. The changing rooms are huge but there aren't enough of them. There were a few disgruntled people who had no place to change. All in all, it's a very relaxing place, with music in the background. I would recommend it and I would probably go back.

Water park
Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre is an indoor water park featuring an Olympic-size swimming pool, water slides, rides, and a gym offering classes and events. It's like an underwater playground for kids with a pirate ship, wave pool, and various water slides. The center also boasts thrilling water slides for adults. What sets it apart is that it's open to everyone without the need for a membership. Additionally, there are fitness facilities, sports amenities, and the Aquazone waterpark to enjoy.
Went as part of a school tour – excellent experience from start to finish! It all begins with a safety talk and wristbands for everyone. Green wristbands are available for weaker swimmers so lifeguards can keep a closer eye on them – a brilliant idea! Plenty of lockers available, and worth bringing coins for the vending machines. The kids had an absolute ball. Would definitely visit again!

Nice facilities, but they are clearly in breach of the National Payments Strategy 2025 which states that all government bodies which are public facing must accept cash as a means of payment by law. They still proudly display their “we are cashless” poster at reception. Please fix this asap. It’s unfair on the elderly in particular, who tend to still operate with cash.
Brian S — Google review
Really poor and disappointing. Facilities seemed a lot better online in comparison to what they actually were. Lines really long for rides. No family rides/anything for kids who were too big/old for the pirate ship, but under 110cm. Limited showering facilities and cubicles a squeeze! Unclean - lots of green along walls and on top of play area in pirate ship. Generally a very disappointing experience having spend nearly €100 for the family.
Matthew W — Google review
Great day out! Pity the slides weren't all running, and they gone a stupid system in place for the one slide, which consists of you waiting in line for a tube ring to go down, not enough unfortunately, one slide was out of order the dark hole slide supposed to be the best one, only 3 slides so had to go down the one only a few times, next time I go maybe it will be fixed, other than that staff great, cept the whistle gang 😂 just go you will understand, changing rooms and toilets are fine and plenty of cleaners around which was good to see, over all I will return definitely, we went to aqua zone not the other centre. Cheap, and a really fun day out, went with my partner and her 7 year old 🙌😁
Mickey A — Google review
Pool is great. However, mostly available in 25m format. Changing rooms could be better. Showers are disgusting, they hurt both my eyes and my nose. They has to be addressed now!
K B — Google review
Terrific amenity for the whole family to enjoy with slides and water features for tots to teens. I would advise getting there early as it tends to get very busy and noisy, with long queue for the different slides.
Jesse M — Google review
Took the kids to Auuazone, it was excellent. Clean family area, loads of lifeguards on duty. 3 fun slides, inflatable rings on the lazy
M N — Google review
I would suggest it's over priced for young families. It's also has like a fungus on steps in common areas. Some of the equipment is broken. It needs some tlc as it could be really great place.

Gym
The gym, Iveagh Fitness Club, receives mixed reviews with equal parts positive and negative feedback. It is typically peaceful and rarely overcrowded. The operating hours may not be ideal for everyone but they generally accommodate the majority of people. However, a major drawback is the limited availability of water as it can only be obtained from the reception located on the main floor. Overall, opinions about this gym vary but it appears to have some room for improvement while still being appreciated by many individuals.
I loved the gym! Nice staff and perfect lighting conditions and the pool is perfect to swim a few laps after a hard workout. I only stayed for two months and paid 75€/month which is not cheap but okay. The classes (e.g. yoga/pilates/stretch&mobility) are included. Day passes are available for 20€.
Barbara — Google review
The pool is just 14m. I didn't try the classes (yet) but they have many of them. Prices -eg €204 for 3 months including joining fee. Location is slap bang in the city centre. Also has a sauna and jacuzzi. The bikes are amongst my favourites -they have built-in screens. The upper floor is lovely as it lets in the natural light. Flexible membership options. Overall, worth an 8+.
RobertAfrica — Google review
Iveagh Gym is a fantastic spot in Dublin with an excellent location. It has everything you need — sauna, swimming pool, and jacuzzi — all at affordable prices, with even better annual rates for students. The atmosphere is always respectful and welcoming, which makes training here a really positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality facilities at a fair price.
Gustavo I — Google review
I would say half good, and half “have to improve”. Usually quite, almost never packed. Opening hour are not the best, but suits most of people. The worst part: only one place to get water, at reception in the main floor. Generally I like the place.
Luis B — Google review
Great gym, great people Iveagh Fitness Club is a fantastic place to work out. The location is super central, so it’s easy to get to, and the membership prices are very reasonable for what you get. The team here is brilliant—friendly, supportive, and always happy to help, whether you need advice on equipment or just a bit of encouragement. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it never feels intimidating. With good facilities, plenty of space, and such a helpful staff, it’s a gym you actually look forward to coming back to.
Juracy J — Google review
Great location. The machines are new. There is a large studio for the classes. By the way, the yoga class is my favourite; we have the best teacher ever. It’s a reasonable price for all they have (including swimming pool, dry sauna, steam room, spinning room).
Adélia A — Google review
There is no proper air conditioning, so working out during summer is unbearable. The changing rooms are mouldy and smelly, and everything could use some deep cleaning. The jacuzzi is ok at least.

Sports complex
Swan Leisure, located in Dublin 6, is a modern gym and pool complex offering a 25-meter pool and a well-equipped gym with various classes. The drop-in swim fee is 6.50, while access to the gym facilities costs 7. Despite being relatively small, it offers good value for money and a friendly atmosphere. The trainers are helpful and provide free programs. The classes are highly recommended for their quality and the instructors' friendly approach.
Right in the middle of Rathmines village, a stones throw from the city centre with multiple bus routes at the bus stop directly outside this is a wonderful place to go to unwind, get those workouts in, play some team sports (& maybe make some new friends), have either a relaxing swim or start a new morning swim routine for fitness &meet the great staff that are always more than happy to answer any query you may have. It's child friendly , quite a popular choice for families &couples or going alone. I'd definitely recommend a visit if only to check it out.
Elle K — Google review
It's very difficult to make proper use of both the swimming pool and the gym. The gym is almost always overcrowded, with people occupying every corner of the space—even stairways leading to the changing rooms—to perform exercises. You can’t help but wonder why some of them don’t do these workouts at home. It really feels like far too many memberships were issued for such a small facility. The swimming pool is even more problematic. It's rarely available for general use, as it's often reserved for swimming schools or children's lessons. And even when lanes are technically free, there are often individuals doing stationary exercises in the swimming lanes, disrupting anyone trying to actually swim. Another issue is reliability. If you're trying to squeeze in a short workout, say early in the morning, there's a risk the gym won’t open on time—forcing you to just give up and leave. On a positive note, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the overall lack of access and overcrowding.
Zoran H — Google review
The place is very dirty, especially the cubicles next to the swimming pool and the downstairs bathroom. The swimming pool is always overcrowded, it's not an enjoyable experience at all. The free swimming sessions are always only 3 lanes, crammed, because the other 3 are occupied by swimming classes. The swimming classes are a bit ridiculous. Even in the advanced classes, the teaching is very basic, no challenges and they only focus on 2 styles, back stroke and front crawl. And if you want to have private swimming lessons you have a year of waiting list. There is a need of a bigger swimming pool, I get it. But at the same time, you should improve the level of adult swimming classes and at least have a day or two when people can enjoy a swimming without bashing against each others.
Simona — Google review
Swan Leisure is a great gym with excellent facilities and a really friendly atmosphere. The equipment is well-maintained, the swimming pool is always clean with heat control water and height adjustable floor. There’s a good mix of classes for all fitness levels, including Barre pilates, yoga, zumba, and more. The trainers are knowledgeable and always happy to help. The staff are super helpful, and the overall vibe is very welcoming. Being a membership holder I visit the place daily and I could confidently say it’s definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a good gym in Dublin!
Stuti S — Google review
I’ve been going to the pool at Swan Leisure for years, I but only just started doing fitness classes there (which are 7 days a week!). I absolutely love every single one that I’ve tried. The aquatic with Borja is so much fun and a great workout, the women’s strength class with Nuri, and the yoga with Hyegeun… all the classes are fun, varied and a great workout. The staff are so friendly too. I highly recommend the Swan center and I will miss it when I leave Rathmines.

I trained with Diana for 2 months and she was fantastic. Super supportive and knowledgeable. Totally worth the investment, highly recommend!
Andréa S — Google review
EDIT after owners comment and after the 'refurbish': Basic gym with a sometimes 25m swimming pool. The gym has a set of everything, but for instance just 1 set of weights of each size, so if someone is using them, then you have to wait. Also, space is extremely tight and machines are too old. They """refurbished""" 2 weeks ago, which means that they added 10 new treadmill machines and 2 bicycles. Terrible job. Now there is less space for weights and the 2 bicycles have the electric sockets on the floor, beside them, so it won't be long until some sweating goes in. Still not enough mirrors, old and ripped machines... Check the photos to see it by yourself. They have around 4 hours per day of 25 metres (over the weekends is less hours) pool and the rest of the time is basically for kids and leisure. There is a wall that elevates and then it divides the pool in 2. The facilities are basic and they don't provide shampoo, towels or anything. Do not expect any of that. The sauna is good enough.

Review for Jack McDonnell – Swan Leisure, Rathmines I want to give a well-deserved shoutout to Jack McDonnell at Swan Leisure in Rathmines. He is the only staff member who consistently greets me and takes the time to acknowledge me while I’m working out. His attentiveness and professionalism make a real difference in my gym experience. Jack’s knowledge of fitness and training is exceptional, and he communicates in a way that is both respectful and highly effective. He genuinely cares about helping people improve, offering valuable advice and guidance with patience and professionalism. I highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for expert support in their fitness journey. His dedication to his work is evident, and he surely deserves a raise in recognition of his professionalism and commitment. Swan Leisure is lucky to have him! Thanks Ajay kumar

Swimming pool
Templeogue College Swimming Pool, located on Templeville Road, offers a range of activities and classes for visitors. The pool is open seven days a week with varying opening times. It provides options such as female-only lane swimming and aqua aerobics classes. The facility is praised for its friendly staff and the sense of community it fosters among learners and parents. Visitors also appreciate the safety measures in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pool has lane swimming, the website has all information or just talk to the staff/call the pool, they are all super friendly!!! I don't like misinformation of the local guide dude review below! I like all the coaches, they are maintaining the best atmosphere even as a watching parent I enjoy and feel relaxing. most learners and parents are calm and friendly too. I don't live in Templeogue but I feel I'm well merged in the community <3 thank you all!

The staff is friendly. The is no hair drier, no soap. The pool is ok, but no designated swim lanes, so if you are an adult dropping for a casual swim you will be swimming across watching out for floating toddlers and kids of all ages. It's a family friendly place. The changing area would do with a renovation because it looks filthy.

Went there with my two kids , This is astronomical! My child slipped and fell into the pool without his armbands and nearly drowned and staff were not there to help !!! When he got out safely we went straight home to see that he had a wart on his toe and we were very disappointed that the floors were obviously not clean! He has horrible flashbacks to what happened and is attending therapy weekly . But anyways very good place definitely recommend!! Best swimming pool in dublin 🙌🏻

Indoor swimming pool
Terenure College Swimming Pool is a popular choice for locals in Dublin, especially for parents looking to enroll their kids in swim lessons. The pool is well-maintained and offers ample parking spaces, making it convenient for visitors. The friendly and responsive staff, along with the skilled instructors like Eleanor, create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages progress and confidence in swimmers of all ages.
Exceptionally great staff, always go above and beyond to help you. Staff that really know their stuff and who have been there for many many years. Mary for swimming lessons and Eleanor for swimming and aqua aerobics, these women are both the most amazing people you'll ever come across. Crystal clear water with a steady warm temperature. Hot showers and oodles of spaces to park. Classes to suit everybody's needs and budgets, from casual swims, lane swims, aqua aerobics, circuit aerobics, turtle tots for the younger children/babies, swimming lessons for children and adults, and coached lane lessons to name but a few. Fantastic selection of music and the staff give you great confidence and help you get over your fears. The staff are like my second family. They have helped me get in and out of the pool after my spine operation to happily and comfortably swimming again.. It's a great place to even do your own hydrotherapy exercises Try it out you won't be disappointed.. Lots of great staff but Rachelle keeps the pool ticking over and without her positive personality the pool wouldn't have such a great vibe! Aoife, David are also great for classes and getting you fit. Thank you to the staff in the background, cleaners and maintenance also. 5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ all the way

Previous review deleted (along with others saying the same thing) so I’ll put it up again. The pool is so filthy that I had to take my child out of it after a few minutes. I’d say there are canals in Ireland that are cleaner.

The only swimming pool with a warm enough water for babies and toddlers! Offers great swimming classes for the youngest audience ("Swim Cubs") and runs public swim sessions. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Cons: changing rooms have no lockers. Other than that: highly recommended for a swim with babies and toddlers :)

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
AquaZone, nestled within the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre in Blanchardstown, is a fantastic indoor water park that promises endless fun for families visiting Dublin. With an impressive array of eight thrilling rides and slides, including the exhilarating Master Blaster, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The facility also features a lazy river and a wave pool that adds to the excitement.
Had an absolutely fantastic day at AquaZone with my grandkids! A special shout out to Joe, one of the lifeguards, who really added to the fun. We were in the queue for the surfboard-style ride, and I was a bit reluctant to give it a go. That’s when Joe got a little “best of three” competition going and of course, I lost! The kids were delighted that I’d have to go on it, and honestly, I don’t regret losing one bit. It was the best craic and we laughed the whole way through. Big thanks to Joe and all the staff for making the day such great fun. We’ll definitely be back!

Please do not go here unless you want a bacterial infection ! I went here yesterday for a swim expecting it to be great. We booked the 12 o clock time and arrived at 11.30 was told couldn’t go in until 11.45. We got in to the changing rooms- lockers were manky, room reeked of pee and poo and extremely hot and humid. Got into pool and the amount of kids pissing everywhere was disgusting. Noticed mould and algae throughout the lazy river and pool tried to ignore it and have a good time but the pool was actually filthy. Poop floating around waters, the mould, horrible smell and water was cloudy. Eventually I got out of the pool and headed to try out a slide. Massive queues. Slides were good but the queues weren’t and I can’t imagine how dirty the slides must’ve been. Went back to the changing rooms to shower to be met with more piss and poop in the showers and room . Me and my 3 friends all woke up w bacterial infections today. Not worth it
Disosdfjff — Google review
Disappointing start as the slides were not working when we arrived. This was sorted soon after and they were good fun. The queues went quick enough. Other than the slides, the lazy river was tame. The wave pool went on usually when we were on a queue. When we did make the wave pool the wave experience was short. Plenty on lifeguards on duty. Was surprised with the place it self. Needs updating. It's grubby in places. Rusty fences and vents. Peeled and faded signs and artwork. The end of the slides could do with a scrub. Some gum stuck to the walls in the dressing room. Dressing room floors could do with a deep clean. Fairly priced at €61 for family of 4.
Sarah B — Google review
Clean changing facilities big enough for families. Staff were friendly and helpful and the interacted well with children. Not overcrowded. Great fun activity. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.
Yvonne W — Google review
The pool was good however cleanliness wasn't very good throughout. Algae scum lines and plasters stuck on walls in the lazy river. They didnt have enough rings for one of the slides. The staff were good with my children and lifeguards were attentive. With some deep cleaning it would be very good. But it us a bit expensive
Pearce J — Google review
Nice swimming pools with lots to do for the kids. However I do not recommend it. Tickets are expensive, time is limited to just 2 hours, and then there are massive queues for the slides (20, 30, sometimes 40 minutes). With the time being limited that means you can use the slides about 3 times before it's time to leave. It is not enjoyable to spend so much time queuing.
Pauline — Google review
Used to like going with my kids but won’t be returning again after our visit this week. One of the slides was out of action resulting in massive queues for the other 2 . 20 to 30 minutes and considering you only have 2 hours it’s just ridiculous. Totally took the good from the day. The place was in my opinion way to packed for the size of it you could not put your arms out at anytime without bumping into another person. At no time could we get a seat at the jacuzzi so after an hour and a bit of going around the lazy river and wave machine we packed our day up. Just to mention they could really do with cleaning the pool up lots of black mould and stuff floating in the water. Not what you would expect and makes you feel a bit grubby. Kids disappointed and me frustrated after paying in plus travel. Emailed manager 4 days ago to complain got no response tells you all you need to know about how they appreciate paying customers. Spend your money elsewhere
Gary M — Google review
⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Disappointing Experience, Not Great Value for Money Visited AquaZone recently with four children and left feeling quite underwhelmed. The facilities were clean, which is the one positive I can highlight, but overall the experience didn’t justify the €78.50 price tag for a two-hour slot for one adult and four children. The green slide was unexpectedly uncomfortable—every time my back hit the joins between the slide sections, it was painful. Not something you expect from a family-friendly attraction. The biggest letdown, though, was the Master Blaster slide. There were only five inflatables in use, and the staff were extremely slow in releasing the next person, even when it was clearly visible on the camera that the previous rider had finished. A huge chunk of our two-hour slot was wasted queuing here. I raised the issue with the lifeguard on duty, who told me to go to reception—despite the fact I was in swimming clothes. Staff generally seemed disinterested, which suggests there may be deeper issues at play. All in all, not worth the money or the hassle. I wouldn’t be in a rush back.

There’s also some great outdoor training equipment, making it a perfect spot for both fitness and relaxation.

One of the best indoor sports arena facilities in Ireland. Easy to book, easy to cancel. Plenty car park spaces. Unlike many others, there is water dispensers. Lighting in the badminton courts is much better than other, the court have proper rubber matts with only Badminton court markings. Good clean facilities. There is a nice small cafe there as well. Would be nice if there was a shoo to allow people to buy or rent stuff in case if someone has forgotten a racket or shuttles.

ALSAA Sports Centre offers an enjoyable bowling experience at a great value. For just 16 per person, visitors can enjoy an hour of bowling and freshly cooked finger food. Despite occasional pin-setting hiccups, the friendly and helpful staff ensure a fun time for both adults and kids. The center also provides CPR training but may be noisy due to school kids. The outdoor facilities are well-maintained, with comfortable seating around the field.
We recently visited this bowling center and were absolutely thrilled! It is truly the best bowling center we’ve ever been to. First of all, I want to highlight the professionalism of the staff. Everyone is very friendly, always ready to help and provide guidance. You can tell the team puts their heart into their work, which creates an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. Special attention should be given to the rental shoes. Each pair is thoroughly disinfected after every customer, which inspires confidence and shows the center’s care for its guests. It’s a small detail, but one that truly reflects the high level of service. We were also pleasantly surprised by the abundance of promotional and motivational materials that genuinely inspire you to give bowling a try. Everything is designed to ensure that both beginners and experienced players feel comfortable and engaged. I highly recommend this bowling center to anyone looking to have a great time while enjoying the game and excellent service. We will definitely be coming back again and again!

So when I was alot younger and living in Dublin. I got to use the ALSAA facilities on a regular basis playing hockey there, those were the days. I was there recently for my daughters basketball match. I stand to be corrected but it looks like it hasn't changed one bit. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. The place was very clean and nice temperature throughout the building. The only thing I would say it could do with a little updating but from the areas I visited it didn't look shabby just a bit tired. Was great to be back and brought back some fond memories.

ALSAA (Aer Lingus Social and Athletic Association) Sports Centre, located just beside Dublin Airport, is a well-established and versatile sports facility that caters to a wide range of athletic and recreational needs. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, a casual gym-goer, or someone looking for team sports and leisure activities, ALSAA provides a welcoming and functional environment. The gym is spacious and adequately equipped with a good variety of cardio machines, resistance training equipment, and free weights. While it may not be as modern as some high-end commercial gyms, it offers everything you need for a solid workout. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, attracting a diverse crowd of members, from young adults to older fitness enthusiasts. One of ALSAA’s standout features is its impressive range of sports facilities. It boasts both indoor and outdoor amenities including squash courts, badminton courts, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, football pitches, and a running track. The indoor pool is a big plus for swimmers and families alike, kept clean and well-maintained. There are also sauna and steam room facilities, adding a recovery and wellness aspect to your visit. The centre is home to multiple sports clubs and leagues, making it a hub for team sports and community events. Whether it’s 5-a-side football, table tennis, or martial arts classes, there are always activities and group sessions happening. For those interested in racquet sports, the squash and tennis courts are a great feature rarely found in one place these days. Staff at ALSAA are generally courteous and helpful. The centre also offers various fitness classes, although the schedule can sometimes be limited compared to larger gyms. Parking is plentiful and free, which is a rare bonus in Dublin, and its proximity to the airport makes it a convenient stop for airline staff and locals alike. While some areas of the facility could benefit from refurbishment to match modern fitness centre aesthetics, the value for money is excellent. Membership prices are reasonable considering the range of amenities offered. In summary, ALSAA Sports Centre is a solid choice for anyone looking for a well-rounded, community-focused sports facility. It’s not the flashiest gym in Dublin, but it offers a reliable, friendly, and well-equipped space for fitness, sports, and social activities under one roof.

The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and offer a wide variety of options—from the gym and swimming pool to courts for badminton, squash, and more. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. It's a great place to train, relax, or even just enjoy a coffee after a session. Parking is easy, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it caters to all fitness levels. Highly recommended whether you're a regular athlete or just looking to stay active in a positive environment.

Absolutely love this gym! The facilities are top-notch – the 8m pool is always clean and perfect for a lazy paddle, the sauna is relaxing and well-maintained, and the Jacuzzi is the ultimate post-workout treat. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the entire environment is motivating and welcoming. Whether I'm doing cardio, lifting, or just unwinding in the spa area, I always leave feeling great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a full-service fitness experience that goes beyond just the basics. This place truly supports both physical fitness and relaxation. They also have a 25m pool separate to the main complex but I've yet to visit. Very good value to boot!

Dear Team, I would like to express my concern regarding the volume of the sound system in the gym. It is often excessively loud, which can be uncomfortable for many members. The majority of people use headphones, making such a high volume unnecessary. Additionally, the atmosphere feels more like a nightclub rather than a gym, which can negatively impact the workout experience. I believe adjusting the volume to a more reasonable level would create a more balanced and enjoyable environment for everyone. I appreciate your attention.

Hi Markievicz Leisure Centre Team, I woke up early this morning 26th July and got ready to head to the gym, only to find out it was closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, there was no prior notice or communication about this, which was incredibly frustrating. As a paying member, I expect to be informed of closures or schedule changes in advance. You have all my contact information from the registration process—email, phone number, etc.—yet there was no message, email, or call to let members know. This lack of communication is disappointing and makes me question the reliability of your service. I’m now seriously considering switching to another gym, even at a higher cost, simply for better customer service and communication. Please take this feedback seriously—it’s not difficult to keep your members informed, and doing so would make a big difference. Regards, Victor

No water allowed on the stove but if none else is in there should be no issue throwing your own. You will need your own lock for the lockers. Although they can also be bought from a vending machine there. No signing up or induction required. Just pay your money at the reception and good to go.

Not a pleasant experience. The gym has limited space and equipment, with a significant presence of elderly members due to its affordable membership for them. Machines often malfunction and lack parts, posing potential safety concerns. The changing rooms are not well-maintained, and encounters with other members can be uncomfortable. It may not be the ideal fitness environment for those seeking a more modern and hygienic facility. Consider exploring other gyms in the area for a better fitness experience.

Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Club is a beloved local gem in the heart of Portmarnock, offering a wide range of activities for both kids and adults. The facility boasts various rooms for different activities, a well-maintained pool, and a spacious main hall. Visitors can also enjoy the pleasant bar/cafe area or take a leisurely stroll in the nearby park. While parking can be challenging at times, the overall setup and cleanliness of the club are highly praised by patrons.
Really enjoyed the spacious, high ceiling gym with a great variety of functional machines and equipment. There is great natural light coming in the ‘bay’ windows, which overlook the tennis courts on the treadmill side of the gym. You can watch sun rise and set depending on the time of visit. There is also a swimming pool and sauna onsite. Make sure to check schedules and timings ahead of visit, for their availability. It is truly a great facility and venue but for some areas of the changing rooms and toilets, which are a bit smelly. (that was first thing at 9.30am on a Saturday morning) Also on site is a small little cafe as you walk in. Lockers are key operated with the use of a refundable 1 euro. So no messing around with combination locks. Changing rooms are unisex with private cubicles to dress/ undress and the showers are individual cubicles and open. Many other groups run other activities/ events as well so there is a great general buzz about the place. Members benefit from all sort of discounts but walk-in non- members can also use the facility.

Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Club’s swimming lessons have made some improvements. The waitlist issue has eased a bit, and feedback on children’s progress is now provided periodically via email—a helpful addition. However, cleanliness in the dressing areas is a significant issue. The state of these facilities is poor, with frequent unpleasant odors and noticeable dirtiness. This has become a real concern, especially in a place focused on health and well-being. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Maintain regular cleaning in dressing areas to ensure a sanitary environment. 2. Monitor hygiene throughout the term, as this is fundamental for an enjoyable experience for children and parents alike. Despite these concerns, the swimming lessons themselves have seen some progress. But at €210 per term, there’s a clear expectation that the facilities match the program’s quality.

Had a very disappointing encounter today with the receptionist by the name of Trish… I encountered three teenagers looking to purchase a gym membership, they were not rude or cheeky they were mannerly and respectful towards her however they were responded with nothing but rudeness, rolling her eyes and by her tone she seemed almost agonised to be helping them, not even giving them the chance to say whether they were members or not and jumping straight to the negatives and trying to accuse them of not being of age to attend the gym when they quite clearly were…. Thankfully a different woman by the name of ciara stepped in and took matters into her own hands to help the teens and things were sorted swiftly and mannerly. This seriously needs to be sorted out not my first bad encounter with her or seeing her with other people. Teenagers could be doing a lot worse nowadays than looking for a trip to the gym… I’ve been a member of the pslc for years and was appalled by this situation and Trish’s attitude in general. Please sort this out asap…

Disappointed and I feel not inclusive to the local community. Swimming pool Hoist not in working order for nearly 2 years now and been told on multiple occasions that it is going to be fixed. Had previously used this with patients I work with who are wheelchair users and had found it therapeutic. So can only use the pool with patients who are mobile enough to walk into the pool. Also you can only use the pool at certain times and for a max of 40 minutes and not allowed to use the sauna either as non members. The cost was also expensive, when carers where charge also, at 36 euro compare to the 9 euro we would have spent if we had gone to ballymum leisure centre where the staff are extremely kind and friendly, use of hoist and sauna included. Back to Ballymum we shall go!

As a paying member of this club, I once hastily parked in what I thought was a parking spot. Despite the ambiguity, with a small pedestrian zebra crossing leading to the car park, there was no clear continuation for this crossing. Immediately after parking, an individual, potentially affiliated with the club or known to the staff, confronted me, attempting to school me on using a space not designated for parking. Despite my efforts to keep the situation calm, another acquaintance of theirs, claiming to be a staff member, threatened to involve security. This occurred in the presence of my wife and daughter. It's disheartening, and I believe more attention and consideration should be given to the paying members of this community. A more courteous approach would have been more appreciated. This location is otherwise delightful for various sports activities. They boast an excellent gym and a remarkable heated pool. It's wonderful that they provide swimming lessons for children. Although I haven't had the chance to try out the tennis courts yet, I'm confident they are fantastic. Moreover, they have a restaurant on the first floor with an open terrace. The affordability of their pizzas and beers is noteworthy.

My kids have done lots of activities here over the years. It is a good local facility. There are lots of choices of activities in the various rooms. As well as the pool and main hall. It is always kept clean. The bar / cafe is pleasant enough and a handy space to wait in or do some work in while. The park beside it is also good for a stroll. Parking can be a bit messy. They redid the paint for the carpark and then continued to block their own one way system.

Scruffy dirty small gym, alot of equipment in terrible working order, most lockers not working there broken ,showers too hot or cold , horrible drafts and moss basically growing off the walls needs to relocate or renovate quickfast. From how the place looks and operates it seems nobody is working hard there to keep the place in decent condition for paying members.

Absolute joke off a company member since 2018 they cancelled my 40 euro a month membership and resigned me on 54 a month stating I never updated my bank details but then still used same bank details idiots....swimming pool I've seen chicken nuggets baby nappies floating never cleaned mould in steam room jacuzzi always broken never wrote review about anything Absolute joke they are

Changing rooms and facilities are disgusting. Toilets never cleaned on days I’ve been there. Once reported a broken light in one of the toilets. Instead of fixing it they just put it out of order and never repaired it. Other toilet has a broken door which was never replaced. Bins never emptied. Seems like maintenance and hygiene for the club are not a priority.

★☆☆☆☆ If I could give zero stars, I would. Club Vite in Lifey Valley is an absolute disgrace. My daughter opened an account on the 5th of May and was charged €48 — only to be told on the 16th that she had to pay again for a full month. At that point, the account had only been active for 10 days! We refused to pay again and decided to cancelled the account by phone. They charged her another €46 on the 22nd of May, claiming it was a “cancellation fee” for not giving 30 days’ notice- which we accepted. The cherry on top? She went in on the 28th of May to use the gym (which she was still apparently paying for), and they told her the QR code didn’t work. If she wanted to use the gym for the rest of the month — which she already paid for — she’d need to pay another €10! Total scam. In the end, she paid for nearly two months and couldn’t even use the gym for a month. I called to sort it out and the staff were rude, clueless, and talked utter nonsense about club policy??? This place is a joke and a complete rip-off. Be warned — they’ll take your money and give you nothing in return.

Disappointing Experience After 8 Years of Loyalty I had been a member for 8 years, not because it’s a great gym, but because it was convenient. The facilities have always been subpar: rundown equipment, poor maintenance, and cleanliness that leaves much to be desired. Many machines are broken, rusty, or look like they're part of a science experiment. I recently moved away and had to stop my membership due to the commute. While I was back in the area, I asked if I could purchase a simple day pass just to get a quick cardio session in. I was told I could only do so if I came in with a current member, or alternatively, buy a pack of 10 day passes for €90. Neither option made sense for a one-off visit. The staff were standoffish and unhelpful, which unfortunately reflects my overall experience with this gym over the years. It’s a shame that even basic customer service is lacking after years of loyalty.

Went to join gym had look around. Receptionist Hayley was lovely. They had a sign apologies while maintenance was going on. Gym was ok some of the equipment needed repairing or replacing but otherwise all was OK. Pool looks nice and it definitely suits me. I joined and happy 😊

Tallaght Sports Complex, located within Tallaght Community School in Balrothery, offers a range of facilities including a pool and gym. The pool is open from 7:00 am to 10 pm on weekdays with adjusted hours for weekends. Visitors have praised the cleanliness of the pool and the friendly staff. Additionally, there is a drop-in childcare room available for a fee, making it convenient for parents to use the gym or pool.
Small, cheap, community gym. Some of the equipment could do with being updated but has everything you need and for €250 a year you can't complain. Membership gives you access to the pool which is a decent size. Showers and changing rooms are basic and could do with a refresh. Staff are friendly and you don't get many spandex clad gym poseurs!

This place hasn't changed much since I was a kid going there, I now take my own children there for swimming lessons. Staff are great, gym is fine, could do with an upgrade. The changing rooms recently got a fresh coat of paint. Perhaps the showers could do with an upgrade, price is good 👍

Great local amenity. I learned to swim here many years ago. They have maintained to pool and the whole complex to a good standard. The changing rooms are always clean. The staff friendly. I also play canoe polo here. It is very good that we can train and have an indoor league in the Tallaght Sports Complex. It is convenient for a lot of the teams that are travelling, as it is not too far from the m50.

The complex itself is brilliant, but I can't explain how fabulous the Easter/Summer camps are. Stephanie and her leaders are brilliant, especially Joseph. The camp is the last thing my kids talk about going to bed and the first thing they talk about when they wake up. Highly recommend them.

While it can get crowded during weekdays, the gym allows booking of fitness classes through an app. Members appreciate the friendly atmosphere created by both staff and fellow gym-goers, likening it to a big family rather than a commercial franchise.
I spent over a year at this gym. They have a good variety of equipment and classes to choose from and, most importantly, they have the best team in Dublin to help you reach your goals. If you're looking for a friendly environment and results, go with Better Body Gym!

This gym is amazing—I would recommend it to everyone! The environment is great, and the classes are fantastic. I love taking sessions with Jie—she’s so nice, and I truly appreciate her energy and vibe. One of my favorite classes is Box Fit—it’s a great way to release stress and makes me feel amazing. I always make sure to book that class! Oana’s classes are extremely nice, and she’s really lovely too—don’t forget to book her sessions! Andrei and Oana gave me some amazing advices, which made me feel great. I would give 10 stars if I could, but I can only give 5 here!

Disappointing experience After being a member for few years and over a year and not using the gym during this time for personal condition, I finally decided to cancel. Even though I hadn’t used the facilities since a year . I was still required to give a 2-month paid notice, which feels more like a money-grabbing policy than something considerate of members' real situations. When I spoke to the owner in person, he compared the gym to a Netflix subscription – which says a lot about how they view their customers: not as people, but as numbers on a spreadsheet. There was zero effort to understand or support me as a long-term member. Just a cold transaction... Beyond that, there are several issues with the gym itself: Very limited weekend hours wich is not practical. The gym is overpriced for what it offers: limited space, basic equipment, and no added value compared to more affordable options. They seem to accept unlimited subscriptions, packing in as many people as possible without considering member comfort, this can be seen especially during peak times. This gym is clearly more focused on maximising profit than building a real fitness community.
Matthieu L — Google review
I've been at this gym for 4 month now and it is fantastic. The staff are the nicest people ever. Super supportive and fun. Clientele are friendly. Overall, it's a lovely environment to work out in. Thanks to Andrei for all the support 🤩

Glad to have chosen this gym. The atmosphere is very positive between the customers and the trainers are always kind and helpful. Thank you Oana for your time and help, and getting me started on my journey to develop myself!
Miguel S — Google review
Gym itself isn’t terrible though a little small but the customer service is bad. When you want to cancel your membership you have to pay for 2 months after you cancel, which is already ridiculous. But they also don’t respond to emails and would rather continue to charge you after you ask to cancel. Even after agreeing to cancel they continue to charge after the two months are up. Unacceptable

UCD Swimming Pool is a popular spot in Dublin, known for being one of the largest indoor pools in the area. It's easily accessible to both students and non-students, with convenient bus stops nearby. The facility is well-maintained and regularly cleaned, offering a 50m Olympic pool with designated lanes for free swim and areas suitable for kids. Additionally, there's a smaller pool for young children.
Great price and the perfect pool. Would be better if they had more lanes. The jacuzzi is Fab! Membership is a 200 euro fee for a contract and then 85 euros per month for full days. Cool! Worth it! Recommend!

I like this pool a lot ...and the facility in general. However on Thursday 2nd January at about 11.40am ... just a week ago ... I noticed 3 or 4 male lifeguards (in yellow) messing by the side of the pool. They were paying no attention to the swimmers. Suddenly one of the lifeguards was pushed into the pool fully clothed by the group he was with. He tried to get out and was pushed in again. This happened twice more and eventually he got out of the pool. He was given a towel a few minutes later. They then seemed to go off duty. I was in the recreational area of the pool at the time (1.3m) and was making my way down to the end of the pool to exercise in the quieter end as the top end was very busy with small children jumping in with their parents. A very helpful female lifeguard spotted me moving down and the pool hanging in to the lane sepatator and advised that the pool was 2m deep at the other end so i returned to the top of the pool.. There were also several lanes taken up by classes at the far side of the pool and coaches were on duty there (in red). I don't think the above incident is very reassuring for swimmers and safety in general. It's not the first time I have noticed your lifeguards chatting and laughing beside the pool in groups of 3 or so ... you need to review the role of lifeguard and the emohasise the importance of safety in the pool.

They give penalty arbitrarily to the students like somebody with great power in hand and made me very uncomfortable. Especially a woman in light blue shirt at the reception desk. At about 3:30 pm my friend came and took out a card, and when reminded it was a wrong card, she said sorry and took out her own card. Then the lady took both cards and went to the computer and came back to say both cards were banned for two weeks, without a warning. I argued it was not fair for the two students because my friend had her own card , she was not trying to take advantage of them. She just happened to take out a wrong card that looked similar. They eventually cancelled the ban, but didn't admit they did wrong in the first place. It seems an apology would be too difficult for the staffs.. I have never seen so condescending staffs in whole Ireland.
Jack Z — Google review
The opening hours are not accurate. When I showed up at 5pm on Sunday for my swim I was told I should have read the fine print on their website and that the opening hours on google are not their responsibility. Despite the gym being opened till 6pm I was told that I could not use the pool which has a different opening time and closed at 5pm. On another date, a strange guy kept following me around the pool trying to talk to me as I was doing my laps. I reported it who staff did nothing. At a later date I was told that I should have known to ask for a duty manager and it was always open to me to make a report to the Gardai. Even when you pay extra for the nice changing rooms you have to pay extra for a lock for the locker. It’s a shame that such a nice facility is being ruined by poor communication, poor management and a failure to take responsibility for issues.

Great contemporary swimming facility with 50-meter lanes. Can get crowded during peak hours. Offers ample space for sauna, hot tub, and steam room. Overall, a thoroughly positive experience.
Mikhail B — Google review
Excellent facility. One down side there are no naked swim lanes, classes or swim times. Otherwise it's fab. Oh and you can't bring your dog into the pool..for a swim..(even if its a therapy dog) or guide dog..which is somewhat shortsighted.

Well staffed and well run facility. Clean and safe. 50m Olympic pool with some lanes for free swim area suitable for kids. Pool depth is 1.35m to 2.0m. A small warm 0.5m deep pool is also next to the large pool. It is suitable for small children. There is a tepaderium with dry sauna, steam sauna, jacuzzi, rest seating area, and multiple showers and an ice machine. Plenty of lifeguards in duty at all times.
Neil M — Google review
Excellent pool ! Large mixed changing area changing with plenty of lockers, changing rooms and showers. The pool is very clean and well run. The children’s lessons are excellent and they get great confidence when the floor level is highered to standing height (80cm height I think). The pool can actually change to three different heights : .80, 1.3 and 2m Large spa area which has a jacuzzi, rain showers, steam room and more. The children’s pool is perfect size and they love the water jets in it. Only thing I don’t like is that at least one of swimsuit dryers is always broken :(

Mespil is great, you will most certainly get a good swim here. All the staff are lovely, their instructors are amazing, ask for Jenny for lessons, she has the patience of a saint, wonderful swim instructor. The pool is a good size, has everything you need including a sauna for some down time after your swim. Considering what businesses have been through this past year, places like Mespil need more suppprt and appreciation than ever. Both pay as you go and membership options very reasonably priced. Mespil is very well organized, has a very relaxed atmosphere, always an enjoyable place to be.

Great location. Swimming lessons for children are very convenient. The teacher is nice, showers are clean, it is not too crowded and price is cheaper than others in the area. You can also have a picnic or just chill out on the grass in front of the building after your swim. I am only removing one star because the facilities could benefit from some refreshing. Happy to recommend.

Clean and with friendly staff but so warm. There's a sauna and steam room in the corners but you really don't need them! The pool is 20m long about 2.5m deep at one end and 1.3 at the other. Usually its divided into 3 generous lanes
Uiliam R — Google review
Pool & Sauna is okay but showers are pretty bad. They also only allow 10 minutes after your session ends to clean up and leave, which basically leaves no time to have an actual shower. To top all of this off, it's 8 euro for a walk in, way over priced.
Aisling T — Google review
Lovely and quiet, nice, friendly staff. Showers are open to changing room so don’t bother using and wait till I get home.
Laura B — Google review
My worst experience ever in a swimming pool/gym. I paid for two months of lessons but I was pushed to leave after the 1st month without a refund. They let people use the changing room for just 15 minutes, after that they lock the door of the pool. All of that, because they don't want to pay a receptionist for the time between lessons. Firstly, this is not SAFE. Secondly, as a normal person might understand, a girl with very long hair can't take a shower and dry her hair in 15 minutes. Normally staff tries to find a solution or at least is polite. But when I tried to make my point with the staff and tried not to be thrown out from the locker room, I've received just RUDENESS, open HOSTILITY and sarcasm. Staff stressed me out, making me lose PATIENCE and MONEY. Sincerely, I don't know how they can run a business in this way. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Quiet, cheap and friendly pool. Very warm and generous sized swim lanes in the AM. €5 swim before work. Could do with a lick of paint in the changing rooms and some proper functional lockers

This is a great place if you want to experience travelling in space and time back to the Soviet Union of 1980s. The main differences are that this one is not free and the changing room is smaller than what you would expect to see in USSR.

You get what you pay for. Gym equipment is very old and some things just don't work. The treadmills are great. The pool is big enough but very nice and warm. Changing room is a bit dirty. The opening hours are very bad. Opens at 6pm and closes at 9pm on weekdays and 12pm-6pm on weekends. If the gym equipment received an upgrade and the hours were increased, this is a great gym for €10 a month.

Josip, the experienced personal trainer, is highly praised for his motivational approach and ability to make each session enjoyable. Clients have reported increased energy levels and confidence after working with Josip, who customizes effective workout routines based on individual fitness goals.
I have been training with Josip for over 2 months now and have really enjoyed my sessions. As someone who found the gym extremely daunting, I now feel confident going in and have made such progress - I’m so glad that I took the plunge and booked in with Josip. If you’re looking for a PT who not only knows their stuff but also genuinely cares about your well being, and success, than I would absolutely recommend Josip!
Emily L — Google review
I’ve been training with Josip for two years now, and I can confidently say he’s transformed not only my fitness but also my mindset. When we started, I struggled with pull-ups, but thanks to his expertise and guidance, I’ve made incredible progress. Josip is more than just a trainer—he’s a motivator who knows exactly how to support you on tough days and push you to reach the next level when you’re ready. His encouragement and personalized approach make every session rewarding. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about helping you achieve your goals, Josip is the perfect choice!👍💪
Asimina I — Google review
I’ve never been one of those people who loved going to the gym but Josip motivates me to keep working hard and makes the sessions enjoyable. Josip is very knowledgeable, gives variety to each session and explains the different exercises & why. I've been with Josip for over 6months and I have noticed that I have more energy after the sessions and starting to feel confident to go to the gym by myself. I've gotten more experience with exercises and my goals have become more focused. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Deirdre M — Google review
I was so embarrassed about how overweight and out of shape I’d become and honestly didn’t know how or where to even begin turning things around. Personal training with Josip has been life changing on so many levels. He is an attentive and engaging trainer with a wealth of knowledge and professionalism. I felt very intimidated entering the gym environment for the first time in my life but training with Josip’s direction has helped me to overcome that and to understand that I have a place in the gym just as much as the elite athletes and weight-trainers that he also works with. I don’t feel self-conscious in the gym anymore and overcoming that hurdle was a huge turning point and one of the biggest benefits of embarking on personal training for me. I’m thrilled with my progress so far and achieving results and workouts that were unfathomable for me just weeks ago. I’m feeling stronger and fitter both physically and mentally after just a few short weeks and I never would have had the knowledge or confidence to get to this point without the professional help. I’m already doing exercises I thought it would have taken me months to work up to. I was hoping to find a trainer who would be mindful of how very unfit I’d become; I ended up finding a trainer who is not dwelling on my terrible fitness or making me feel awful and is instead showing me what is possible for even me to achieve. It’s really uplifting and motivating. I would highly recommend Josip as a trainer for all levels. The fitness and physiques of his elite clients speak for themselves, but for anyone like me who is stuck in a rut, wanting to change and feeling overwhelmed with where to start, the confidence, direction and knowledge you’ll gain from working with Josip is the best gift you could give to yourself to get back on the path to health and fitness. He is very skilled at identifying the individual needs, limits and motivations of his clients and the sessions honestly fly in with good humour too. I can’t believe the change I’m feeling and the shift in my attitude towards exercising! I highly recommend working with Josip no matter what your fitness levels and goals are. He is very conscious of your safety and welfare and a big thing for me was finding a trainer who was mindful of how vulnerable and undignified it feels for a very overweight, unfit newbie. Josip cultivates a confidence-inducing space for folk like me to learn to work out optimally without feeling judged or ashamed of their starting point. It really sets him apart as a trainer and motivator.
Ciara M — Google review
Josip has been my PT for over a year now and he has been fantastic in helping me with my workout and fitness goals. I was a complete beginner when I started and Josip developed a simple and effective routine to get me going. Over time he has changed my routines as I've gotten more experience with exercises and my goals have become more focused. Every session is a challenge but Josip makes it easy and understandable, which means I can see real progression and results. He's also very fun to work with which makes every gym session that bit easier! He's always available for advice and support if needed, so I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Fia M — Google review
Josip is a great PT! He makes sure to meet his clients expectations while also being patient and giving great advices. I see a lot of improvement in my stamina and strength thanks to the training he provides! I cannot recommend more

I contacted Josip because I wanted to start a strength programme and I wanted someone to push me, coach me on form and set a challenging programme. After the free consultation, Josip had a full body plan designed to my current fitness, that we started with. I have been working over 2 months and have added weights, exercises and notice a big difference in posture. Josip pushes me, regularly revises the programme and I am also hitting some inch loss goals too. I have already recommended Josip to some friends because of his tailored approach.

The lessons are tailored to each person's ability, providing a different experience from traditional swim classes.
I’ve had an amazing experience with these swimming lessons! The instructors are absolutely fabulous—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive. They’ve made learning to swim so enjoyable, and I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time. The lessons are well-structured, and each session is a perfect balance of fun and skill-building. I’m excited to continue my lessons and can’t wait to improve even more. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start or improve their swimming!

Highly recommended! Don't hesitate! I just completed the Learn to Swim course with Huseyin and am progressing nicely through clear and easy understood instructions and even some homework assigned. I have signed up again to continue the great progress made and graduated the Beginner course and even after just 1 week completed I'm already getting better. Thank you, Huseyin, thank you Swim Camp

Fantastic and fun. Improved my swimming by a ton and a lot of help in small things that I wouldn't have figured out how to fix on my own. Highly recommend.

Really happy to give SwimCamp swimming lessons a very strong 5 stars. For the first time in my adult life I now understand the technique of swimming. The class sizes are small and the Coaches are really great at confidence and skill building by ensuring each individual student is comfortable with each element of technique before layering on another new element or drill.

I started the improver course at the start of March. I was totally amazed by how much I enjoyed the class and how fun it was. Even on a wet, dark evening the pool was inviting with an encouraging atmosphere. Chris, our instructor was excellent. I highly recommend these classes.

I've just finished my 2nd set of Adult beginners swimming classes with Aoife in SwimCamp and have achieved so much in a very short space of time, that I just had to give her this 2nd review. She has built my confidence up so much. I started out very nervous and convinced I'd never learn, from too many years "swallowing half the pool" every time I tried to swim. But last night I managed to swim 10 metres, while breathing properly, with no water swallowed. 10 metres may not seem much to good swimmers but to me its a nothing short of a miracle. I cannot recommend the teachers in SwimCamp enough!

Really enjoyed these swimming lessons. Instructors were extremely friendly and helpful. Beginners classes were focused on technique and drills and tailored to everyone's ability. Completely different to previous lessons ive done where I was just told to swim up and down the pool. Have already recommended swim camp to friends and family.

Have done multiple weeks of lessons with SwimCamp in both Dalkey and Belvedere and they've been brilliant. I've gone from being terrified of water to now being really confident. I've gotten to really love swimming. All trainers are super at what they do & I'm excited to continue to learn.

Do not recommend this place. Tried to go swimming there but nobody came and opened the door. Wasn't convenient at all and the opening hours aren't updated. Also they do not answer their phone.
