Bakery
Hansel and Gretel Bakery & Patisserie is an artisan bakery with locations in Dublin's Clare Street, Artane, and Navan. Their shops are known for their beautiful design and pleasant displays. In addition to traditional baked goods like barmbrack, they also offer innovative treats like croissant muffins in various flavors. The bakery focuses on providing high-quality products without the need for trendy offerings or classes.
Small bakery tucked in the streets around Trinity college. We came in the afternoon so most of the baked goods were gone but we managed to try some of the pastries in the display. The fruit tart and cookies were good. Should come back in the morning and try the breads!

This is a very small café that sells pastries and baked goods. The place looks really cute, but there isn’t enough seating. The atmosphere is lovely. I had high hopes for the pastries and tried the pain au chocolat and croissants—the chocolate they used was quite dark, which isn’t really to my taste.
Fahmida L — Google review
I've been staying a number of days at a hotel near Hansel and Gretel, and have found this great little bakery and coffee shop a convenient stop as I'm walking to various tourist sites. The pastries are freshly baked and very good, and the coffee (which may be supplied by a coffee shop chain called Ariosa) is very good. Unlike other nearby coffee shops, Hansel and Gretel has no seating either inside or outside. But if a takeaway cup of coffee and a pastry is your thing, this is a great choice.
William L — Google review
We have been customers of the H&G branch in the Swan Centre Rathmines since it opened. In fact it is why we chose to do our supermarket shopping there. It was with dismay that we saw last night workmen dismantling the cafe. Your product was very good, coffee, pastries and apple tarts too. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, particularly the French lady. What happened to cause this closure??
Geoff S — Google review
Charming bakery with a great selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. They also do Too Good To Go bags which have been amazing value when we’ve tried it. I miss the beautiful cake display they used to have in the middle of the space (it made it much easier to browse), but I’m guessing it might have been taken away for health and safety reasons? In any case worth dropping by if you’re in the area. Coffee and staff are nice too.
Vy N — Google review
I'd give this place 3.5 if possible as 3 seems a bit too harsh and 4 seems a bit much. So after searching around and seeing nice reviews, I visited the place to try out their Pistachio Bakewell that they have posted almost everywhere on maps to Instagram etc. Brought home and tried that along with Almond Bakewell as well as per the recommendation. It felt a bit dry to me and wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be or as it looked. I am not sure I am going to try it again.
Amit A — Google review
Such a stylish place to buy a pastry and a coffee on the go. Everything is laid out out in the open as if you were in the home of a compulsive baker. It looks a bit like a story book idea of how a cake shop should be. Is it a coincidence that it is located en route from the gallery to the museum? Everything in here looks like a work of art but fortunately there are no glass cases to stop you getting your grubby mitts on the treasure. A self-service cake shop this good? It's almost a crime.
Iain S — Google review
I had I hopes for the top rated bakery. The coffee was good. Service was good. The twice baked almond croissant was lacking crispness or crunch on outer layers. Seemed a bit underbaked, but otherwise good. I purchased a sandwich for train ride later in day. The brie cranberry & pear sandwich was exceptional. The bread was perfection and the filling a perfect combo. Definitely give it a try. Look for baked goods with light browning.

Ice cream shop
Murphys Ice Cream is a renowned artisan ice cream shop with locations in Dingle and Dublin, Ireland. The ice cream is handmade using farm-fresh milk, cream, organic sugar, and free-range eggs. Their Dublin location offers a delightful selection of flavors including Irish brown bread, Dingle sea salt, Irish coffee, Dingle gin, Dingle sea water and Chocolate Whiskey. The award-winning ice cream features distinctly Irish flavors and even includes sorbets made with distilled Irish rainwater.
This is the best ice cream I've had in Ireland, without question. It's excellent. Had a 2 scoop bowl, with brown bread and a sea salt ice cream. Heavenly. Not your normal flavors. You got a try this !
Barry S — Google review
I was recommended to come here to from a friend and I'm sure glad I did. Busy line up when I arrived but it moved pretty quickly. Employees are there to give you samples while you wait, and they were more than happy to give you a few to try. I ordered the Sea Salt and Honeycomb Caramel, and both flavors were fantastic. Really rich and creamy, strong flavors. Dairy free options are their sorbet, and a few gluten free as well. Prices are reasonable for what you get, definitely give it a try if you love ice cream!
Justin W — Google review
Murphy's ice cream is first-rate. Its flavors are true, its ingredients seem to be top-quality, and it's not super-sweet. The chocolate whiskey scoop we had along with a raspberry scoop today were both wonderful. And the person dishing up the ice cream couldn't have been nicer.
William L — Google review
Truly the best ice cream in Ireland, and some of the best I’ve ever had! The flavors are unique and every single one is delicious. The staff are friendly and patient — samples are unlimited and we basically tried them all! Definitely stop in!
Kristen M — Google review
Amazing ice cream shop! No wonder there's always a line. Ice cream was milky and not overly sweet. All servers working there were absolutely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return.
Ed F — Google review
A little more on the expensive side but so worth it for the delicious and interesting range of flavors! Love the brown bread and butter flavor and espresso martini! The staff are always so so nice and chatty too! Love the late opening times too!
Leah — Google review
My smooth chocolate & strawberry ice cream was tasty. The ice cream is from milk from Kerry which is great. The flavours are a bit weird & not all of the same standard. Many are too sweet. Overall it's expensive for what you get. Service is excellent.
Mark A — Google review
Dingle Ice Cream, just off Grafton Street, has quickly become one of my favorite ice cream spots in Ireland — in fact, it’s my second favorite in the whole country. The quality is excellent, and their creativity with flavors is impressive. I absolutely loved the chocolate with Teeling whiskey, a brilliant mix of rich and boozy notes that feels uniquely Irish. The texture is creamy, the taste is fresh, and the overall experience is fantastic. Definitely a must-try when exploring Dublin city center!

Cafe
Dolce Sicily, located on South Anne Street, is a delightful restaurant and pastry shop that offers a range of authentic Italian treats. The menu includes familiar Italian pastas, mains, and desserts, as well as simple breakfast options. The cafe is known for its first-class ingredients and authentically Italian dishes such as mild and fragrant fennel salami.
The best cakes for celebration.. we bought their strawberry pistachio cream cake . It melts so effortlessly in the mouth. Staff is welcoming and good. The prices are bit up than moderate but worth it for a premium quality taste. Even small deserts or cakes are yummiest. Do try!
Sayali J — Google review
The strawberry cake tastes better than the fruit tart, but overall nothing was particularly impressive. MIMOSA CAKE was actually quite nice — refreshing and lemon taste not too sweet. Next time I’ll try the tiramisu that my friend strongly recommended, though I’m not sure I can handle how sweet it looks! The pasta is supposedly handmade, but it felt pretty average. Service was very friendly!
Elaine — Google review
I have mixed feelings about Dolce Sicily. The first time I visited, the experience was much better, but on my second visit it didn’t really transport me to Italy as I had hoped. The highlights here are definitely the desserts — the pistachio tiramisu and pastries in general are very good. However, I have serious doubts about the savory food. I ordered the ossobuco risotto: the meat itself was well-cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the risotto had no taste at all. After waiting 45 minutes for the dish, it was quite disappointing. I mentioned it to the waiter, who kindly took the plate back, but what came next was very bizarre: they brought me a new risotto and literally took half of the ossobuco from my first plate and served it separately on a smaller dish. For a restaurant that is not cheap, I found it unacceptable that the chef didn’t bother to remake the dish properly. Overall, I feel Dolce Sicily needs to improve a lot on consistency and service to win me back — and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Gustavo I — Google review
I ordered a cake to pick up yesterday to celebrate my birthday a week early because most of my friends will be travelling on my birthday date. We had it this morning! I got the Red Velvet, which is my favourite cake so far!!! All my guests loved it. Most of them didn't know your shop, and I can say that everyone was asking: "Where did you buy this cake? Where is the shop located? ". Well, I just want to say thank you very much!!! I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!! Thank you, thank you and thank you!!
Tamiris G — Google review
Dolce Sicily is a true Italian gem in the heart of Dublin — elegant, dolce, and effortlessly stylish. The desserts are simply irresistible, from heavenly tiramisu to perfect cannoli, each bite bursting with authentic flavor. Warm service, charming ambiance, and exceptional quality make it a must-visit spot for anyone craving a sweet taste of Italy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Vladimir V — Google review
They say go where you see long queue and it should be good - not always the case, but for this one it def is! Worth the wait and must try if you’re around the area. We had pistachio cannoli, pistachio tiramisu, americano and italian hot chocolate. It is on the expensive side, almost 30eur. For Dublin it’s OK, I found the desserts average but oh! - the italian hot chocolate made me want to go back as soon as I can. First time trying all them so maybe not the best judge. Oh well I enjoyed it. It was so packed yesterday so will head there again today hopefully not as busy.
Skmgonzales — Google review
This charming, albeit cozy, Italian restaurant delivers truly exceptional dishes. The pasta is clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and each bite is a burst of authentic flavor. I used to think they only serve desserts but recently found out they have a beautiful lunch menu. The desserts are equally impressive—don't miss them! While the space is intimate, the beautiful decor and warm, attentive servers create a delightful atmosphere. It's a must-visit for any pasta lover.

Mannings Bakery, a family-owned independent bakery with over 60 years of history, is a must-visit in Dublin. Located on Thomas Street near the Guinness Storehouse, this bakery offers an array of delicious baked goods from traditional confectionery like Gur cakes to modern treats like cupcakes in various flavors. The interior is simple yet modern, allowing the focus to remain on the impressive display of birthday cakes.
Mannings Bakery was such a lovely experience! Even though we don’t usually like sweet things, everything here was so well-balanced and delicious, especially the pancakes and cupcakes. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was outstanding. Bryan, the manager, took such great care of us with genuine kindness, and the whole team was warm and welcoming. It’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommend, even if you’re not a big fan of sugar!
Dannia P — Google review
Manning’s Bakery – Pretty pastries, slightly crusty service A clean, attractive spot that really stands out among its more “up and coming” surroundings. There are lots of people walking to Guinness like me Inside, the counter is a visual treat, cakes and bakes galore. Sadly, two of the four things I ordered were out of stock, and the staff seemed mildly allergic to patience. The scones? Tasty, but more rock cake than cloud-like fluff. Conclusion: Looks the part, tastes decent, but service and stock issues mean I'll look elsewhere first
Jon B — Google review
Mannings Bakery has long been an institution in Dublin and remains well-regarded for its quality baking and consistently delicious cakes. Their long-standing reputation and commitment to good service are clear to see, and they continue to deliver dependable quality in their selection of pastries, and celebration cakes. However, I've noticed a change over the past five years in their birthday cakes. Where once the cakes stood out for their exquisite artistry and stylish decoration, they have recently become more ordinary in design and presentation. The creative flair that once set Mannings apart from other bakeries seems to have faded, leaving the current birthday cakes without the distinctive, elegant character that used to define them. I share this observation as constructive feedback because Mannings remains a valued and respected bakery in Dublin. Their quality of baking is still strong, but I hope they might revisit the artistry and decorative innovation that once made their birthday cakes truly special.
Jean Y — Google review
A delicious Dublin delight—where tradition meets comfort Mannings Bakery & Café is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at ease. Established in 1952 and still family-run, it’s a genuine artisan gem tucked into the heart of Dublin, serving up handcrafted treats with a side of heartfelt hospitality. We stopped in for coffee and pastries, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was rich and smooth—clearly made with care—and the pastries were fresh, flaky, and indulgent without being overdone. Whether you’re craving a buttery croissant, a cream-filled slice, or something more adventurous, Mannings delivers with flavor and finesse. The café itself is a lovely space to relax. It’s clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, with just the right balance of cozy charm and modern polish. We lingered over our treats, soaking in the calm and watching locals pop in for their favorites—a testament to the bakery’s loyal following. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. You get the sense that they care not just about the food, but about the people who walk through the door. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it makes all the difference. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, celebrating with a custom cake, or just treating yourself to a quiet moment with coffee and something sweet, Mannings Bakery & Café is a place that feels like home—only with better pastries.

I ordered 2 birthday cakes for my daughter’s 18th. A chocolate mud cake and a Victoria sponge. Both were delicious. The Victoria sponge was the lightest cake I have ever eaten. Would recommend and will be using again. I had the cakes delivered. I received a text on the morning of delivery to share the estimated time.

Fabulous bakery and café. Delicious celebration cakes and cream pastries for a special treat.
June L — Google review
Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday party. It was absolutely delicious!! The parents were impressed and the kids devoured it. Even when I had to make changes, it was sorted so quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend them for all your cake needs :)
Fiona T — Google review
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in Dublin. We came in 25mins before closing, and the young woman with black hair and a deep voice acted like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. Every question was met with impatience, and before we even finished choosing, she abruptly said: “So this is the one you want, right?” It completely rushed us and made the whole situation uncomfortable. Then, another female staff member came over, and the two of them just started quietly talking and laughing together, chatting in small voice with each other right in front of us — very clearly giving off a “hurry up and leave” attitude. Whether it was her or the other staff who started it, the message was obvious: they didn’t want us there. It felt rude, dismissive, and honestly disrespectful. We left feeling unwelcome and annoyed. Definitely won’t come back, and absolutely do not recommend this place if you expect even basic manners. owner actually looks into this and fixes the customer service issue, because no business should make customers feel rushed, unwanted, or disrespected.

Bread 41 is an organic bakery located on Pearse St. in Dublin, known for its specialty breads, pastries, and custom-made cakes. The owner, Eoin Cluskey, is a prominent figure in the artisan bread movement in Ireland and is passionate about natural sourdough breadmaking. The bakery also offers a brunch menu with options like Breakfast Croissant and French Toast.
Amazing find with a delicious assortment of baked goods and espresso drinks. The line held steady outside the door throughout our visit. We also saw the pastry chef measuring out butter for her next recipie as we left. Highly reccomend!
Sue A — Google review
Bread 41 is where craftsmanship meets creativity. A buzzing Dublin bakery turning simple ideas into pure flavour. The sourdough is exceptional, the Cruffin irresistibly flaky, the Savory Croissant rich and inventive, and the Sausage Roll easily among the city’s best. Coffee’s on point, staff are upbeat, and the atmosphere hums with local charm. It gets busy and prices reflect the quality, but every bite reminds you why it’s worth the hype.

This is a stunning place and extraordinary bake foods buffet. Chose anything it’s simply elevated standards - homely but fresh and innovative. Loved the croissant, bread butter pudding, chouxin. I literally stumbled into this place and what a great place. ❤️❤️❤️
Santos S — Google review
Bread 41 is amazing! The pastries are so tasty and fresh, and the coffee is honestly the best I’ve had in a while. The staff are super friendly, and I love the big shared tables — such a great vibe. The line was out the door, but it moved fast and was totally worth it!

I was really looking forward to visiting Bread 41! As soon as I got there, I queued up and grabbed some bread and coffee. Luckily, there were still a few seats left inside. I tried the custardo, salted caramel knot, and almond croissant. Maybe my expectations were too high, but although the bread wasn’t bad, I was a bit disappointed because it didn’t have that rich buttery flavor I was hoping for. The Americano was a little pricey, but since other drinks were the same price, I think trying something else next time might be a better deal. ☕️🥐
HJ H — Google review
For some reason, this place is always busy. Maybe they do nice bread, never had. I tried cinnamon roll, and although there was a cream on the top of it, it felt a bit dry. Would I go back again? Yes, to try their almond croissants, they looked good.

This is my second time coming here and I loved it just as much! They have an incredible selection of baked goods and pastries, savoury and sweet!! I got a custardo and a cheese and onion tart, both were superb. Staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommend!

The Bretzel Bakery & Cafe is a charming find nestled in a picturesque neighborhood, exuding the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. With over 150 years of expertise, this bakery offers an array of delectable treats including breads, cakes, pastries, and more. The cozy interior attracts locals seeking kosher-friendly muffins and pastries to complement their coffee.
Best bagel in town! Big selection of delicious baked goods, including cakes and loaves. Very good coffee too. Small dining area with newspapers and magazines.

Arguably one of Dublin's most famous bakeries (you'll find their name printed in countless cafés' suppliers), and for good reason. Their breads and sweet bakes are amazing. What's more, the freshly redone shop in Portobello is inviting to have a sit-in coffee or a little lunch. Good bread will always make me happy - and Bretzel has really good bread on offer!
Philip Z — Google review
I've been buying the berry cake from this bakery for at least seven years, and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined. There are barely any berries in the cake now, and the dough isn't as soft as it used to be. It’s disappointing to see such a great product change for the worse. I really hope they bring back the original quality because this used to be one of the best cakes around.

I can't believe I am only figuring this place now. Thanks to my BFF. Small little cafe attached is actually beautiful. Lovely pastries (very home made vibe). Great coffee. Very affordable. Great service. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and a good variety of products. I liked their sandwiches, but although the bagels looked delicious and fluffy, they were actually quite hard, so I didn’t enjoy them. Still, I’m happy to have a place like this in Portobello for fresh bread 👍🏻
Dilan K — Google review
This used to be my favourite place in Dublin for breakfast - I would always ask for coffee and a cream cheese bagel. I don’t know if management has changed but this place is not what it used to be. In the past , bagels would be bigger with a generous amount of cream cheese. I didn’t even mind the burnt flavour it had, as the cheese was delicious and would overpower it. This weekend I went back to this bakery and I was truly disappointed. Everything is more expensive, the bagel is smaller and barely had cream cheese - I could only feel the burnt flavour this time. It’s truly heartbreaking to see one of my favourite places falling apart. They refurbished the whole thing and to me, it now lacks personality. I am thankful for the good times I had here for the past 3 years, but I don’t plan to ever come back. It’s very sad to see a good place being sacrificed for money - but i guess it pays off.

I got just one scone, but God how good it was even without any jam nor butter. First in my life and thanks to that I fall in love with them. Thanks

Located in Dublin's vibrant Temple Bar area, il Valentino Bakery & Cafe is a modern tearoom and cafe with a mezzanine floor. It has gained popularity for its freshly made brunches, lunches, and sweet treats since opening its doors in 1998. The bakery offers a variety of cakes, tarts, cupcakes, and more that keep customers coming back for more.
Loved this location because there’s a bookstore just across. Plenty of seating and open windows for people watching and just to relax while you enjoy your treats and drinks. Will return!

The sandwiches here were so good that I had to order a second BLT! The service was fast, and the staff was friendly. A great place to relax and enjoy a tasty meal after visiting Dublin Castle.

Me and my sister went there for the pasties and the pain au chocolat was divine! The best I've had-atleast around where I live! The tiramisu could be better, we got too much chocolate and very little coffee flavour so that could be improved. Didn't try their sandwiches but they looked very tempting, will go back for sure! Quick turnaround and staff are very nice and warm too.

Queen of Tarts in Dublin is a charming café, perfect for a delicious treat. Their selection of tarts and pastries is amazing, offering both sweet and savory options that are mouthwatering. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The place has a cozy, warm atmosphere, making it ideal for a coffee with friends or a relaxing breakfast. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. If you're in Dublin, this is a must-visit spot!

We came her for breakfast on our last day in Dublin and both ordered the eggs your way breakfast. The food was good and very filling. The eggs were good, potatoes were seasoned well and the toast was very fresh. Orange juice was fresh pressed and the tea came as a cute little set up. Our server wasn’t the most attentive but it didn’t bother us too much. If she came around more I would have ordered more like another beverage and maybe a dessert. After sitting with our empty plates for quiet some time I finally walked to the front counter to pay. I think it’s a little on the pricier side for a breakfast meal but it was an overall enjoyable dining experience.

Queen of Tarts is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly baked goods and the cozy atmosphere. The food was simply divine – each dish bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. And let me tell you about their Baileys cheesecake – it's a must-try! Creamy, rich, and utterly indulgent, it's a dessert lover's dream come true. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall delightful experience. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Queen of Tarts is the perfect spot. I can't wait to come back for more!

It was a fantastic cafe in the quiet area of the center of Dublin. It's very popular during lunchtime. I visited in the morning and their service and the cake were incredible! Scorn was super big and it would be enough to feed three people! Carrot cake was also great!

Our party had the Bailey's Chocolate Chip cheesecake, the Queen of Chocolate Fudge Cake, and a salted carmel hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! The hot chocolate was more warm than hot, but probably the sweetest item of the lot. The store is charming and cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu also included breakfast and lunch items.

Brother Hubbard (North) is a charming independent cafe known for its top-notch homemade baked goods, seasonal lunches, and coffee. With multiple locations across the city, it's a great spot for vegetarian mezze and creative brunch choices. The cafe has gained popularity since its establishment in 2012 and has expanded to include Sister Sadie (now Brother Hubbard South) and Brother Hubbard Ranelagh.
Brother Hubbard stands out as one of the best breakfast spots I have visited anywhere. This Dublin café is thoughtful, flavorful, and genuinely memorable. On my recent visit, I ordered the pulled pork Benedict—an inviting twist on the classic that more than delivered. The pork was tender and well seasoned, and the hollandaise tied it together beautifully. I also had a ginger fruit scone, which was simply delicious. Its crisp exterior gave way to a soft, warm center, and the ginger added just the right note of spice and sweetness. The atmosphere at Brother Hubbard matches the quality of its food—welcoming and lively, with staff who let you enjoy your meal at a comfortable pace. For anyone visiting Dublin, I recommend putting Brother Hubbard on your list. Whether you are a brunch regular or simply want a good start to your day, this place will not disappoint.

Last weekend my girlfriend and I went to Brother Hubbard for the first time and it was amazing. We were welcomed really well. Even though there was a queue, it was fast and we got a table quickly. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. There was also a man working with a big smile all the time — later I saw a book and realized he was on the cover! The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. The only thing is that the Mimosa was a bit too strong for 11 in the morning hahaha Just one more point: it would be nice if the staff wore uniforms, to make them easier to identify I totally recommend this place!

There is a sign at the entrance that says "best breakfast in Ireland". When I was being seated I mentioned that to the person who led me to my table and he said that it was something that someone mentioned. He wasn't aware that there was a sign that mentioned that. I ordered a decaf Americano with milk on the side. Then I waited to order. It took a while for a waitress to come and ask for my order and when she asked me if I was ready I said "I want the basic with bacon". Then she left and I waited again. Then I noticed that people asked for a coffee and a pastry and then waited and asked for their food. The coffee and the pastry was like an appetizer. My food arrived and then I started eating. After the first bites I realized why the sign is at the front. In my opinion this is the best breakfast I have ever tasted in Dublin and other places I have visited in Ireland. The service may not be the greatest but the breakfast is amazing. It is my favorite place for breakfast so far and I will continue to go here for as long as I am in Dublin. I didn't enjoy the decaf Americano as much but next time I will order orange juice instead. Overall I highly recommend Brother Hubbard for breakfast. Go and visit. I know you will enjoy the food here.

I really like this place — I’ve been here before and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere and service are always great. However, today I tried the Irish breakfast, and it wasn’t as good as I expected. I think it could be improved, and the coffee was a bit too bitter this time. I know you guys can do much better because you usually do! Looking forward to coming back and seeing it back to its usual great standard.

OMG this place is a must if you need fresh, tasty and vibrant food. The 3 salads change every two weeks. I got the broccoli and cauliflower with the coleslaw and a lentil & carrot. Absolutely divine!!! The pulled pork benedict was delicious also according to my boyfriend. Also had a rose, raspberry and apple drink- very refreshing.

Had brunch here yesterday and it was grand! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the place had a nice buzz, and the food hit the spot. My meal and the flat white were both top-notch. Definitely a solid spot for brunch in Dublin, I’ll be back soon!

The absolute best food I've had since going vegan in 2023! It looked colourful, smelt divine, and tasted fabulous! It was quite busy throughout the time that we were there but the staff never looked harassed and happily answered my questions. They have a cookbook that I will be ordering on payday. It has a lovely open, contemporary feel to the place and despite how big it is, due to its layout, it doesn't have that 'canteen' feel that some large restaurants can have. The menus are regularly changed too. I most definitely recommend Brother Hubbard if you're ever in Dublin and want some really great food, vegan or otherwise..

The brunch here is REALLY good! I had the puller pork benedict and it was epic. They also serve fresh orange juice which is so rare I had to order one. The coffee is also very well made. The service is very friendly and the place is really cool! If it's warm enough try sitting outside.

Eddie Rocket's is a colorful chain diner known for serving up classic American comfort food like burgers, fries, and shakes. The cozy restaurant has garnered positive impressions for its hospitable staff and delicious fast food offerings. Customers recommend trying the spice bag, hot sauce wings, BBQ sauce wings, and onion rings. The restaurant's American retro theme adds to its charming ambiance, despite often being heavily occupied. Overall, it's recommended as a spot for tasty quick food with a satisfactory dining experience.
We decided to go to Eddie Rockets for Lunch. It's a nice Eddie Rockets 🚀. The staff are friendly and nice. I got an Avocado Chicken Faijita Salad, Chilli Cheese Fries and a Cosmos Milkshake. My son had a Chicken Tender Red Basket and a Cosmos Milkshake. The food was delicious. We had a really nice lunch. Would definitely come back again.

First time visiting Eddie Rockets and the atmosphere is really unique and loved it. The service was great and nice to see friendly people. The burger was Amazing! One of the best I have ever tasted. I had the vanilla shake and to be honest it barely had any taste to it. I like that it’s served in the metal cup. This is the only downside as I haven’t had any other items from the menu. I would definitely go back.

The food follows the American dining style and is well prepared. Burgers taste good same with the fries and onion rings. The chicken tenders are really good and juicy. Service is great. They have a full food allergy book on site if you ask for it so we felt safe eating here with a food/nut allergy. Staff were pleasant.

Nice place with nice food, the menu is quite extensive and the prices are a bit higher than normal but you’re also paying for the interior vibe I guess which is worth it if you’re into experiencing a diner.

Came here to try to the new Supernova burger that everyone was hyping up. And it was okay, the meat quality was not the best, you could taste it which they tried to cover up with a lot of sweet sauce. Other than that it was well cooked and stacked, just cheap mince. Still prefer the likes of Featherblade, Handsome and Wow for burgers in Dublin.

Absolutely Fantastic Experience at Eddie Rocket’s! Eddie Rocket’s never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that classic American diner vibe — shiny chrome, red booths, and upbeat music that instantly lifts your mood. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care that you have a great time. The food is simply outstanding. The burgers are juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour — easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere. The fries are golden and crispy, and their milkshakes are on another level — thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite feels like comfort food done right. It’s also a perfect place whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, treating the family, or catching up with friends. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is just so fun and nostalgic. I can’t recommend Eddie Rocket’s highly enough — it’s a feel-good experience from start to finish. 🍔🍟🥤 If you’re looking for amazing food, friendly service, and a great time, Eddie Rocket’s is the place to go!

Got the cheeze please. Got the original. It only has one patty. Half serving of wings which all but two were the skinny part of the wing. Celery was shown in the description but missing. I had sparkling water to drink. 26.25 euros with a two euro tip. A bit more than Johnny Rockets in the USA I thought?

Love this place! It has its own unique atmosphere, a great little market, healthy food, and friendly staff. They used to have dishes that suited my taste a bit more, especially the arancini plate, which was my favorite, but the menu has changed a bit lately. Still, there are plenty of delicious options, and the overall vibe keeps me coming back.

Please keep in mind I’m a basic Texan and this food was from another planet. I had the meat sandwich. Weird ingredients and terrible flavor. My wife got the granola bowl and it was also not good. No real service as you place the order at a counter and they bring it to you. To be totally fair to the owners this appears to be a super popular place and was packed. So I blame our experience on our lack of knowledge about these dishes and flavors. But still we deemed it the worst meal of our lives.

My go-to brunch place. It has a lovely atmosphere, is dog friendly, has a tiny shop inside it. They don't take bookings, if you arrive later in the noon, you might have to queue for about 5-6 mins but it's absolutely worth it. They have a very limited menu and the food is very tasty. Their pastries and desserts are fantastic and are different every week I believe. You will always find this place buzzing in the afternoons for brunch. They stop serving food at 3 pm. Lovely place for a nice brunch with your friends or partner or even to eat alone and bring your dog 🐶

I went here more than a month ago with my friends, for the vibes of the place alone I'd give it a 10/10 but the food unfortunately did not meet my expectations, nothing wrong with it but it wasn't hitting the spot for some reason, the flavours were just okay for me personally, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich of the day which was onion fritters and mint sauce in it, as an Indian myself I'm not unfamiliar with the flavours but they could've done more with the sandwich. The staff was nice and warm as well. Again, the place isn't bad, just not for me I fear.

The Cake Cafe is a charming and trendy low-level cafe with courtyard seating, offering a diverse and mouth-watering brunch menu. The Mediterranean-style dishes include options like salt cod croquettas with paprika aioli and black pudding with caramelized apple salad, providing a unique twist to the usual brunch fare. This popular spot also offers an excellent afternoon tea featuring sandwiches on freshly baked bread and an assortment of miniature cakes.
One of the best brunch places in town! All the food is simply stunning and a feast for the eyes and your taste buds. Pair that with some great coffee and you've got a winner on your hands! Not only that, but the way the café is tucked in a small courtyard makes for a lovely location! There might be some waiting times, as it is a deservedly popular place, but it is so worth it! Especially when you can sit outside on warm days. And to top it all off, you've got a whole array of cakes to try as well - it's in the name, isn't it?

I went with my friend for brunch, but unfortunately, there weren’t many options on the menu. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with ketchup, but there was way too much ketchup—it was the only thing I could taste. My friend got a brunch plate, but the toast was really hard. We also ordered a mocha, but the flavor was strange and didn’t really taste like chocolate. I had a slice of lemon cake too, but it barely had any lemon flavor—felt more like a plain cake. Considering the prices, we expected a bit more. Maybe it just wasn’t a good day (it was raining, lol), but overall, we were a bit disappointed.

It kills me to have to post a review about what was, once, my favourite café in Dublin. I came here this morning to treat myself and my friend to some coffee and brunch before work. After coming in, I noticed that the place was almost empty. Perfect. We were promptly seated and given a menu. Both myself and my guest ordered coffee, a scone and the 'Scramble'. The server asked if we'd like the scones with the scrambles, we indicated that we didn't have a preference. Lovely. Off to a great start. However, it didn't take long for things to start coming apart. Firstly, the server brought us our two scones, but no coffees. Not ideal, but not a big deal. Surely, it would have made more sense to bring us the baked goods after our scrambles, but whatever, we'll roll with it. When the coffee did eventually arrive, we had already finished our scones. Okay, all a little disappointing, but these things happen. Next, we waited for our food. We waited. And waited. In vain, we waited. Our plates weren't cleared, we weren't checked up on at all. In fact, we were completely ignored. Our coffees finished, we fancied another, but still we couldn't get the attention of any staff; who seemed to be congregated around the kitchen taking photos of a dish on the pass. As restlessness set in, I checked my phone and saw that it had been 40 mins since I sat down. I decided to ask how much longer my food would be. I then had to leave the table, approach the congregated staff members and ask for an update on my food. I asked 'is my food coming up soon', my waiter looked at me and said in an agitated tone, 'not yet', but at this stage, I'd had enough. I cancelled the food. Feeling dejected and disappointed, I asked for the bill. My server simply said 'sorry about that' in an offhand manner. When she she came out to take my payment, she repeated 'sorry about that', without making eye contact or showing any genuine remorse for having delivered such a poor customer experience. I decided to offer some feedback. I told her that coffee should always come before food and it was unacceptable that we had finished our food before our coffee arrived. She told me that it was the way things were done at Cake Café. When I insisted that it was uniform etiquette across all cafés and restaurants, she simply said 'not here, some places do things differently'. She had an air of scorn about her temperament which I found a little unprofessional. She then repeated 'sorry about the restaurant', repeating her claim that it's restaurant policy to deliver coffee to customers once their food is finished. She didn't offer any commiseration. Her whole demeanour was angry and confrontational, which is especially disappointing, considering ours was so polite. I work in service and have done for the past 10 years. I'm incredibly forgiving when it comes to staff mishaps when im dining out. But a level of service this poor is inexcusable. If one of my colleagues acted in the same was as our server did today, Id consider them wholly unsuitable for the industry and would wager they wouldnt last very long in the job. Again, it pains me to post this. I really hope that you guys can make whatever changes necessary to restore the level of service for which you were previously regarded.

I took my mom here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday while we visited London. The surroundings are simple, but I loved the atmosphere. There’s a great outdoor seating space which we couldn’t use because of the rain, but it was so beautiful to walk through. I tried the roasted vegetable sandwich, which was amazing. We shared a cake plate, and a pot of tea. Everything was so delicious!! On top of that, our waitress really went above and beyond and gave us incredible service the entire time we were there. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go!

Ladurée is a refined bakery of Parisian origin, renowned for its exquisite French macarons available in various flavors. The establishment offers an elegant and inviting atmosphere on South William Street, providing a sophisticated Afternoon Tea experience for two. This includes Prosecco, smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a choice of dessert from the counter. Additionally, guests can savor Ladurée's famous macarons.
Visited this small restaurant recently and had a pleasant experience overall. We tried two desserts along with tea. The desserts were tasty, though they didn’t quite stand out for the price—enjoyable, but nothing exceptional. What really made the visit nice was the friendly and welcoming staff, along with the charming interior. The restaurant has a cozy French atmosphere that makes it a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area, especially for the ambiance and service.

Ladurée in Dublin is absolutely magical. From the moment you walk in, the décor feels straight out of a Victorian-era salon — gilded mirrors, ornate moldings, elegant pastel tones, delicate chandeliers, and beautifully upholstered chairs that transport you somewhere whimsical and refined. It has that timeless French elegance, polished and romantic. ([Letters of Wanderlust][1]) It’s my absolute favorite place to order hot chocolate. The chocolate is of exceptional quality — rich, smooth, perfectly balanced — a drink you linger over. There’s something about wrapping your hands around a warm cup in this setting that makes you appreciate every sip. Also, the service is consistently lovely: attentive, courteous, and always with that little extra touch that makes you feel welcomed and pampered. If you’re in Dublin and craving something sweet, comforting, and beautiful — Ladurée is the place.

Dublin offers a variety of sweet treats, including the famous Bubble Waffle Factory's strawberry delight. The owner, Kee Mak, draws inspiration from his love for the fluffy dessert from Asia. While bubble waffles are the main attraction, they also serve Asian cuisine like chicken and soy sauce with chips. The Peanut Glamour with peanut butter sauce and Nutella is a must-try. Visitors can enjoy their waffles in-store or take them to go.
I got a strawberry delight bubble waffle and it was delicious! The waffle itself was light, fluffy and warm which contrasted so nicely with the cool of the ice cream. Our server was really nice and prepared our food very quickly and even let us stay a little past closing because we didn’t realize how late it was. Recommended!!!

The waffles are freshly made and there's a huge variety to chose from. You can also customize your waffle by requesting your own ice cream flavors. It's definitely quite the excessive snack but so worth it. "You can't be sad if you eat a waffle" is quite fitting. The seating area also makes it possible to eat in the cafe.

Love this place. They offer a wide variety of bubble tea and waffles as well as other tasty treats. Highly recommend. The only suggestion I would have is to have the white shelves with juices and powders cleaned to get rid of dust, as it does not give the best impression when we are waiting for the food. Other than that it’s all good!

J had a Thai chicken waffle that was served hot and a little spicy (which is perfect) and a green tea with boba that was the perfect sweet pairing. But sweets abound, and the “croffles” (croissant+waffle) was calling my name, so I tried the Oreo variety. Absolutely delicious, and the prices were right for these street food nibbles and simple pleasures. I travel to Dublin for work regularly; I will absolutely be back by.

Nestled in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Camerino Bakery offers a delightful experience for visitors. The bakery serves up an array of delectable treats, including toasties and cakes, all made with traditional Jewish bread recipes. Their signature challah is a must-try, featuring a rich, yolky interior encased in a crispy crust sprinkled with sesame seeds.

The food was delicious and great price. We ordered capuchino with a blueberry cake and ham and cheese sandwich, the portion was good. Nice place to take a coffee after walk on the garden

€11.20 for the dingiest coffee & sausage roll that has no meat, tasteless. Don’t bother visiting here because the new café since it reopened is very bad. You used to be able to get a full hearty dinner before this crowd took over. Its terrible :(

Cozy coffee shop and bakery where you can enjoy your morning quietly. Loved the flat white here, which we had along with the carrot cake, chocolate peanut butter cookie and lemon bar. Highly recommended and would definitely come back again

Had a yummy sandwich with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella! My husband had the breakfast sandwich and he enjoyed his too. The sourdough bread was the real deal. Nicely toasted. We also ordered a side soup each. It was good with nice garnish on top but was only lukewarm. I believe soup should be served piping hot!! I bought 2 chocolate brownies, 2 raspberry cheesecake brownies and a coconut loaf for takeaway as we were headed to my friend’s house. All treats were delicious!!! It’s such a nice place for a coffee + treat or a quick bite. Loads of tables. Great lighting. Very open space. Clean toilets.

Ireland is magic like that, go try her scones 👍👍👍 Edit : I wanted to write a review a new review but I can see that I had already written a review for this great bakery. Caryna, we want to thank you for the beautiful and delicious wedding cake ! We got many great feedbacks about it 😃 We were very happy with it and it looked great, definitely played a big part to make our big day the perfect day to remember !

Ice cream shop
Scoop Dessert Parlour Aungier is a popular ice cream shop with multiple locations in Ireland, including one in Dublin's Ranelagh neighborhood and another on Aungier Street. The parlour offers a wide variety of cold treats and sweets, from sundaes to gelato sandwiches to milkshakes.
I had this place on my list for a while now and finally went there. There are a lot of types of stuff and I ordered just a simple scoop of Sicilian Pistachio. Now I did read a review where someone didn't like the saltyness in it but I found it alright after a bit. Moreover, you can try the flavour before buying 🤗. The folks working here are nice and friendly and I did enjoy the gelato cone. It was alright, might try something else again 🤗.

Visited on a Thursday evening and asked to sample mint. I wanted two different flavors cause it was good, but I wanted two different ones and they told me no. Why can't I have 2 different flavors? What's the issue. I would have paid extra if that was the issue. Not sure if that's an Irish custom if it is it's odd.
Nuria N — Google review
It is a nice place and apparently a chain with a few branches. I have to admit, looking at it, the ice cream didn’t look very fresh. But we decided to give it a try and it was really good. I had the peanut butter chocolate and it was good. The cone itself felt fresh and it’s important and my friends were happy with their choices as well. So definitely give it a try.
Dana B — Google review
Came for the vegan options and returned for them too! So much flavor without any of the dairy. Did try the dairy flavors too though and they were also good. The to-go containers made for a solid deal if you need to feed a bigger group. The parlour scoopers ran a tight shift as well!

Very disappointing. Large portions but weak flavors. This gelato can’t be recommended.

Good waffle, they have student discount! Fairy big portion, 6 to 7.5 euro per waffle.

Went there and found love in gelato again. The madagascan vanilla and pistachio was an incredible combo and I am over the moon with my dessert. The only knock against this experience is that the "bowl" I had was the papery "cone" that tasted pretty bad. Not enough to reduce the rating though!
Calvin G — Google review
Lovely spot with great selection. We got an Oreo sundae (8 euro), a mango scoop in a tub (4.95) and a gelato cookie sandwich. If you like pistachio ice cream definitely get it here it's beautiful.

The Rolling Donut is a family-run artisan bakery in Dublin, with its first store opening in 2016 and quickly expanding to multiple locations. Founded by Michael Quinlan and now managed by him and his daughters, the bakery has gained popularity for its handcrafted sourdough doughnuts. The newest outlet on Georges Street has attracted dedicated doughnut lovers eager to try limited edition flavors like Oreo marshmallow.
Ordered a delivery for my daughter’s 21st birthday as we would only be in Dublin for a short time. Really easy to order online, and love the fact that you can custom pick which flavours you want. Something for everyone. They were delicious! Would absolutely recommend and we will be back. 😍

The absolute best donuts I've ever had in my life! When I tell you I'd be willing to travel back to Dublin just for 6 of these donuts, I'm not joking (at all). It would have been worth the wait just to chat with the two guys behind the counter. What a pleasant conversation! Anyway... While my husband was around the corner ordering a meat breakfast sandwich, I was looking for somewhere to get a muffin and a hot beverage. I never found a muffin but, when I saw a line outside of a tiny donut shop on Bachelors Walk, my curiosity got the best of me. I am SOOOO glad I waited and grabbed a box of donuts. Every single donut was delicious. I ordered 6, fully planning to share with my husband. He had half a donut and I ate the remaining 5 and a half before we left Dublin. I seriously should have bought another box before heading home.
Tanisha M — Google review
The Rolling Donut is an absolute must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth in Dublin! They offer the best donuts I’ve ever had — perfectly soft, beautifully decorated, and not overly sweet like many others. The variety is incredible — probably the largest selection I’ve seen anywhere — and they even feature fun seasonal creations (the Halloween ones were amazing!). There’s something for everyone here, including delicious vegan options that taste just as good as the regular ones. You can mix and match your favorites — three in a box for about €10, which is great value considering the quality and size. Each donut feels like a little piece of edible art, full of creativity and flavor. Whether you grab a box to share or just treat yourself, The Rolling Donut is a delightful stop that easily lives up to its reputation as Dublin’s donut heaven! 🍩✨

Cafe
Located near Temple Bar and Dublin Castle, Queen of Tarts Dame Street is a popular spot offering a variety of sweet treats and savory options. While some find it slightly overrated, others rave about the great sandwiches and delightful cakes. The cafe can get quite busy due to its popularity, but the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it worth the visit.
Very close to Temple Bar/ Dublin Castle - veggie options but not vegan really. Can get quite busy. We went to the smaller one but apparently there is a second larger cafe nearby. Really enjoyed the food (we had an afternoon tea, cake here and breakfast the following day). Would love to see oat milk options for the drinks. It is expensive but fair for the area. Service is friendly, atmosphere cosy. They did forget to bring out soy milk, gave my sister the wrong tea and a couple of other minor issues but these were resolved promptly and likely due to the fact that the place is very busy.

Expect a 3 minute wait to be seated if you come in around lunch. Definitely worth it though! The waitresses were very very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We had the pea soup, a sandwich and the raspberry cheesecake which were all superb.

Queen of tarts, the name and all the prizes you see at the door seems that you are entering the best place in Dublin to eat a slice of cake. The place is really well located and the interior is lovely. You see the cakes and you feel that you want to try all of them. The prices are a bit high but if it is the Best place, ok, let's try! I went for the apple cramble with black berry and I left the place truly disappointed. Lack of taste and lack of sugar. Whenyou eat a cake at least you have to feel a bit of sweetness, but all the cakes have almost nothing... I felt it was a overrated place, with lots of advertising a less taste. But I will give another time someday The coffees were really nice.
Pedro V — Google review
This place has always tempted me for its name because I love tarts but unfortunately I couldn't tried it for long because I use to mostly go to city center at nights when it was closed. We once visited on a weekend with some friends and as soon we saw it open we went there. We didn't get a table right away but it was worth the wait. Tart was not what I was hopping it to be but overall nice quality and taste.

Café Bombo, located on Thomas Street, is a charming spot known for its delectable bombolinis and slushy margaritas. The café's Instagram-worthy lavatories feature pink tiled walls and exotic wallpaper, adding to its unique charm. Attached to the new Proof Pizza joint, this cool little café offers tasty bombolinis in various flavors.
Really cute cafe with some incredible desserts. Highly recommend either the raspberry macaroon with chocolate mousse or the bombo bites as both are delicious and a really special treat. I'm not going to lie I was a little devastated that their ice cream machine was not working as I had been hoping to get a sundae but they do serve ice cold Margaritas and you can get flavors like strawberry or mango which are really refreshing! Oh I'd also recommend picking up the receiver to the phone on the way to the bathroom, you'll get an interesting surprise!!

Really cool little cafe attached to the new Proof Pizza joint with Instagram-able decor and tasty bombolinos! Bombolinis are an Italian-style donut topped and filled with various different sauces and flavours. I went for the Berry Eton Mess which was a decent size with nice fresh berries and perfectly cooked mini meringue drops. They could have added a bit more strawberry syrup but that's just nitpicking! 😜 It did come with a small round donut though so that was a nice touch. A great way to get something sweet after a neighbouring Proof Pizza!

Cute little cafe with a nice setting to take a coffee in. Great place to go chill with a book and really nice bathrooms! Only drawback is that it really is on the fringes of the city centre, so very far to walk to if coming from the city centre.

My friend who was getting married and two of us bridesmaids went in here for a coffee during a break from preparations. They were so lovely! Such a beautiful and instagrammable cafe!! I had the popcorn hot chocolate and it's definitely became my next new favourite. It's so rich but not too sweet, just the way I like it. The bombolini on the side is good too, so soft inside but crunchy on the outside. Definitely would come back to try their sundaes and more bombolinis. Oh, the waiter was friendly and cheerful too, it totally made my day instantly when I came in.

Pichet is a trendy restaurant and bar in the heart of Dublin, offering a fusion of contemporary French and Irish bistro cuisine. The head chef, who honed her skills at the Dublin School of Culinary Arts and Food, has worked in esteemed establishments like The Merrion and Bastible. Pichet's menu reflects a modern twist on classic bistro dishes, combining French influences with vibrant flavors from Irish culinary traditions.
We were served by Niccolo (unsure of spelling), it was amazing. The food and service were flawless. I had made the mistake of ordering a dish with pork (which I can not eat) and they offered to remake it without a problem. Really worth the money as its a wonderful experience:)

A memorable dining experience at Pichet! The food itself was impressive. Beautifully plated, packed with flavour. Each course was a delight, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The fries/ chips was amazing and one of the best fries I ever had in my life!!! Reservations are highly recommended as it was full house on the day we went. Pichet strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and fine dining polish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special evening out in Dublin. Will definitely be back!

This was the best restaurant we have been to this year. My wife had the Halibut and described it as the tastiest fish she has had in a long time. I had the artichoke ricotta and it was nothing sorry of superb, it really did tickle the tastebuds. There was little potato crisp as decoration and even they were delicious. The wine was also good. The service was also too notch. It was an expensive experience but only because we had some fine wine, the place is reasonable. All in all we had a good experience in one of Dublin's top restaurants. Pichet is definitely one of our favourite places over the last few years.

Had a very nice meal at this bistro. The staff is a little too faux French but professional and efficient. Interestingly I had the best chimichurri sauce I have ever had at a French restaurant in Dublin??? It was served as a sauce to go with the steak frites. I would like to see it on the menu. The two bartenders made a great selection of drinks done very well.
Jason M — Google review
Went there for dinner as a couple. We had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious and high quality. The short rib melted in the mouth. The salad with figs and goat cream cheese was also wonderful. Cocktails were very well made and tasty even though I had one that was not on the menu. I highly recommend the venison and the pork as mains. The waitress was fantastic - Hvala, Stefanie! Also special thanks and compliments to the chef - Marin! We will recommend this place to all our friends and we are sure to visit again when we are in Dublin. It was definitely worth it!

This Michelin Bib Gourmand spot is a great nice night out, with their ambiance warm and the service excellent. The menu is French-based, with great options for fish, steak, or vegetarian. They make some awesome cocktails! If the Dry Aged Tomahawk Steak with smoked bordelaise is on the menu, it’s a great pick! You get two sauces on the side and a nice little side salad. One of the dishes we ordered had a sauce so phenomenal that our waiter brought us complimentary sourdough bread (amazing!!!) to soak it all up!

Our meal here was outstanding. Really great flavors and great service. We want to come back to Dublin, just so we can eat here again. Highly recommended.
Jack F — Google review
I visited Pichet recently with a group of friends from work. I would strongly recommend booking in advance, as I saw several people turned away because no tables were available, even on a Wednesday night. We were seated at a table right next to the main door. If you are booking, I would highly advise requesting not to be placed there. The constant flow of people entering and exiting, along with the high noise level in that specific spot, really detracted from the experience. The service was good; everyone was polite. I asked for a mocktail and they created one that was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've ever tried. The menu offered loads of options, and the main courses were truly delicious with generous portions. In my opinion, the only missing piece was the dessert. We ordered a variety of them to try, and I have to say they were a disappointment. Overall, the great food makes it a worthwhile visit. I would recommend Pichet for a nice date, a lovely dinner, or a fancy night out.

Great experience. Service was out of this world. Cocktails came so quick we were wondering how they did it. Extensive cocktail offering and I threw them a curve ball to create something different which they easily did and was amazing. These guys know what they’re doing! Loved it!
Kevin V — Google review
Yes a speakeasy, hidden in plain sight. But the crowd in front gives it away. Multiple floors with intimate seating, very narrow spaces and dim candlelight lighting. The broccoli was disastrous. The cocktails recommended based on my palate, not good. Had the Rosy&Jim and then the Condor&Curly. They say a cocktail bar with a large menu is nothing special. VCC didn’t serve.
Alexandria M — Google review
A delightful bar secreted behind a scruffy door in the middle row of a busy street adds an air of illicit speakeasy to the whole experience. Ring the doorbell and - so long as you have a reservation - you will be admitted to a dark hallway then upstairs to a large candlelit room decorated in 1920/30s period pieces and individual tables. The service is attentive and very pleasant. An extensive menu of classic cocktails and house variations is laid out chronologically by period. The drinks are well mixed and potent using only the very best ingredients. They also have a menu of snacks and larger dishes. I can thoroughly recommend the Sidecar - superbly lemony and packs a punch. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful piece of atmospheric cocktail longe-lizard life.
Martin M — Google review
A real secret in the Temple Bar area. Ring a nondescript doorbell and be admitted to an old-style speakeasy. Extensive cocktail menu covering the classics and own inventions. Had two Manhattans which were gorgeous. Lovely service from the friendly hostesses as well. They offer small plates and cocktail making classes as well. You need to book a table - a couple tried to sneak in the door after we were admitted but were pleasingly told to wait by the hostess - some cheek on people lol!

Dunne and Crescenzi is a traditional trattoria in Dublin that offers a classical Italian menu featuring simple dishes made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant has gained high praise from visitors, offering mouthwatering pizzas and creamy pasta dishes. The service team is known for being lovely and prompt, providing an amazing selection of Italian wines to complement the dining experience.
Food was really tasty and fresh. As a vegan, I had the bruschetta and it was so good and the minestrone soup (there are two options, one with pasta and one without). Pretty good selection of wines by the glasses and even better by the bottle. My server was warm and sweet and a hard worker always cleaning something up but didn’t really strategize serving new customers versus cleaning up even when tables weren’t needed. I still think he was lovely. Definitely recommend it whether you’re traveling alone, just two of you or you’ve got a big group. The atmosphere and decor were warm and charming.
Rebeca F — Google review
We found Dunne & Crescenzi a bit underwhelming. The burrata came with sourdough instead of the promised focaccia, and the aubergine didn’t taste roasted. Spaghetti was nice, but garlic bread and fries were just okay. Fresh orange juice for the kids was good, but the ciccochino italiano under hot beverages was confusing and not really a drink. Overall, just an average experience — probably wouldn’t return.

If you are in Dublin, add this place to your list. We had a lovely night out the three of us for a late dinner. The staff were so friendly and food was excellent. We had such a terrific time we are more than we should have. Indian restaurant
Pickle Restaurant, located on Camden Street in Dublin, is a renowned establishment helmed by acclaimed chef Sunil Ghai. Known for its creative Indian cuisine, the restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring both familiar and adventurous dishes. From Delhi-style chicken tikka to wild boar served with paratha, Pickle's offerings are described as magisterially flavorful. The restaurant also presents tasting menus that showcase the culinary expertise of Chef Ghai and transport diners to northern India.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin, and not just favourite Indian restaurant. It's high class, but pricey, so more for a treat or special occasion. The food is sensational each time. For example, the chicken wings which are essentially Indian spiced chicken wings. All the curries are gorgeous, last time getting the goat curry. Be hungry going there as you'll be stuffed!

Our experience at Pickle Restaurant was outstanding from start to finish. The food was exceptional, highlights included the lamb chop, tandoori prawns, crab meat, pork chop, tandoori chicken, and biryani. Every dish was beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. Roshan and his team provided warm, attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. The tooti-frooti and gulab jamun were a perfect end to a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely amazing, we got two starters, two mains a bottle of wine and two rice all for 144 which is very reasonable for the quality of food. I got the prawns for the starter and my partner got the lamb chops, both were Exceptional. The mains were ridiculously good, I had the fish curry and my partner had the goat both were amazing. The service was good at the beginning as our starters were explained well and everything on the plate was told to us. But the rest of the meal they were kinda dry but it was fine. Would 100% go back again. We’re excited for more food

Excellent food and service. All staff were so attentive from when we walked in the door to when we walked out. The food was the nicest Indian food we have had. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 3 soft drinks, 2 beers, and one coffee and the bill came to €140. Worth every penny! Will definitely be coming back.

pickle is absolutely outstanding in all aspects – from the food (obviously) to the service and the ambience. we thoroughly enjoyed the fauzi chicken wings and the crab & mango starters. the mains were incredible, the zafrani chicken korma was super fragrant, and the laal maas (lamb shank) simple fell off the bone… it just melts in your mouth! i would devour anything that the chef cooks! it’s worth every cent

Nestled near the picturesque Grand Canal Dock, Herbstreet is a modern cafe that prides itself on serving sustainable and locally sourced produce. The eatery boasts a delightful array of breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options made from organic ingredients. With a focus on minimizing its carbon footprint, the cafe's decor is designed to have a low impact on the environment.
Best pancakes I’ve ever had and so filling. I’ve also tried the “breakfast of champions” with the smoked salmon and poached eggs on top of the rösti which was absolutely fantastic.

Delicious breakfast and excellent customer service. Three visits over 2.5 weeks. Their smoked salmon is beautiful. Have the ‘Breakfast of Champions’ and you will not be disappointed. Ps. Book at the weekends

Lovely visit to Herbstreet for brunch this morning. Glad we had booked as it was very busy. This however didn’t compromise on the friendly welcome that we were greeted with and the attentive service throughout. We’d booked an indoor table but asked if we could sit outside as it was such a beautiful day and the outdoor seating area at the front had a lovely view over the docks and was basking in sunshine. This was accommodated and early explained when the table was to be returned. Great menu with a range of breakfast/lunch options. Food was delicious and portions very generous. Hadn’t visited this area of Dublin before but lots of interesting sightseeing opportunities close by for afterwards. Hope to visit again.

A nice place for brunch or lunch in Grand Canal Dock. The food is very tasty and their menu have a variety of healthy meals like the Champions Breakfast, some salads for lunch or a little sinful like their blueberries pancakes with orange butter flavour and the french toast. Regular coffee, good matcha and chai latte. But one of the things that makes us return here is the customer service, the staff are really amazing, friendly and always helpful and welcoming you with a big smile. Feels like going to eat at home.

I brought my grandmother here before the book of Mormon. We both got chicken and waffles. It was her first time getting them!! She absolutely loved it and enjoyed her very first mimosa as well. The only letdown with restaurant is that it is very loud and they play heavy bass music, which makes it hard to have conversation!
Gavin L — Google review
Maple and bacon French toast was delicious. Would definitely come back! I felt that the portion could’ve been a bit bigger for the price, either an extra piece of bacon or french toast. Still lovely

Breakfast of champions! Absolutely delicious and super filling — I didn’t feel hungry for the rest of the day! Everything was spot on: perfectly poached eggs, creamy avocado, fresh smoked salmon, and a squeeze of lime that tied it all together. Oh, and the coffee? Smooth, rich, and just what I needed. Loved the cozy spot and the lovely view. Definitely coming back for more!

Nice little ‘neighbourhood restaurant’ as they proclaim on a sign outside. But it’s true. It has a nice, cozy and easy going atmosphere and everyone from the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We had the Chicken and Waffles and a Full Irish breakfast and unfortunately part of the Irish breakfast were quite cold or stale as they have to pre prepare it. Overall it was relatively bland. The chicken and waffles were tasty as well as the fries.

Nestled in the heart of Dublin on the lively Dame Street, Forno 500 is a charming Italian eatery that specializes in wood-fired pizza and other delectable Italian dishes. This cozy spot boasts the first authentic fixed Neapolitan woodfired oven in Ireland and proudly holds accreditation from the Association Verace Pizza Napoletana. The restaurant focuses on delivering genuine Italian flavors, with an emphasis on high-quality ingredients sourced directly from Italy.
It’s one of my favourites Italian restaurants in Dublin. The pizza is absolutely delicious. I already went there few times. Everything that I tried, every pizza, pasta, desert, was perfect. The only thing is sometimes even if the restaurant is not busy at all, they kind of rush you to leave or keep ordering. So it’s not the best restaurant if you want to have a long chat with your friends.
Lucas L — Google review
Great little Italian Restaurant in the heart of Dublin. Yes, why Italian instead of Guinness pie and The Wild Rover live music? After six nights of that, the vegetarians voted Italian. And how good it was, from the warm welcome, charming wait staff, and cozy atmosphere to the flavoursome pizzas and prawn pasta!! Highly recommend if you can live without the pub atmosphere and toe tapping Irish music!!

The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and staff were all very friendly and accommodating 👍🏻😊 it would be best to make reservation to make sure you have a seat as the restaurant is quite small. The food overall is ok - we ordered Calamari & Veg Fritti, Arancini (these two were great and definitely recommend to everyone 😍) We also ordered Rigatoni alla Amatriciana & Mushroom risotto. The pasta sauce was abit too sour but still ok if eating with the pancetta. The risotto was creamy and not too salty which was nice 👍🏻
Joeyllyxx — Google review
Have walked past this place many times but never thought to go in, that changed last week before a show in Vicar St . I was incredibly impressed by the food. The pizza was fantastic , the calamari too, really good food overall, service was stellar. It's a bit pricey , but that's not unusual given the location in town.
Ross M — Google review
Ideal Italian, like eating at your granny's - tasty, wholesome, big portions. Wedges of fresh focaccia. Terrific tiramisu- so good I'd finished before photo op! Good friendly service.
Jean K — Google review
I would give this restaurant about 4 stars, maybe slightly under. The pizza was very tasty, though the dough was so soft it was the kindve slice that collapses on itself upon being picked up so do note that. The pasta was delicious and the portion was huge, though it was warm as opposed to hot. The arincini, unphotographed were bad, small portion, poorly seasoned and raw chunks of carrot in the salad, avoid. The creme brulee was divine, a must. Otherwise service was fine. I will also add that the chairs were terribly tight. It would not be suitable for a generously proportioned person. We shared a starter and a dessert and had a main course each. It cost about €90, so slightly more expensive than it was worth.
Brian G — Google review
I visited this Italian restaurant with my partner. The pasta Bolognese and risotto were okay but not very tasty—good enough to eat but no wow factor. The service was friendly, which was a positive.

Ely Wine Bar is a renowned establishment in Dublin, offering fresh and seasonal local food paired with an extensive selection of 400 wines. With two locations, Ely Bar & Grill in the IFSC and Ely Wine Bar on Ely Place, it caters to different vibes. The latter has an appealing by-the-glass list featuring interesting sparkling and sherries.
I held my birthday party in the downstairs section of Ely and it couldn’t have been better. The staff were so attentive and were making sure we were okay. The food was amazing - everyone was so impressed. In the lead up to the party, Carol was so helpful and responding rapidly to any concerns I had. We will be back for sure!

Cosy and lovely place, the volume of music was perfect (not loud) to chat with friends - and the playlist was amazing. Staff were attentive, food was brilliant and authentic, but the chocolate mousse melted my heart. Just go for it! Toilets were cleaned. We booked in advance for a Tuesday evening, so there was plenty of tables available.

I saw the summer special for fish and chips and a glass of cava for €26 and decided to try it. The service from when we got there was great. We placed our order and the food was out in under 10 minutes. 2 cods were on the plate but I’d say the star of the dish was the tartar sauce never had anything like it and the fish was super crispy. 10/10 would recommend and the cava pairing worked really well!
Alfred M — Google review
Lovely place! We came for dinner with friends. Upstairs it has more of a formal vibe and downstairs more of an intimate atmosphere (I think would be very nice for a date) we had sharing board with Irish ham and cheese, perfect for sharing (we were 4). I had rib eye steak, it was okay, I bit too well done and so a bit chewy and not rare as I requested. The lamb was very very good and the burger was nice too . Must try their polenta chips! Great wine selection. Great atmosphere and staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

Where to begin? From a design perspective the place is great and very sexy. The staff is very customer centric. I have some allergies and the Chef made some modifications for my dinner, absolutely amazing food. And the wine selections were spot on. Can’t wait to return here.

Very cute wine bar with amazing food. Albeit, no green vegetables today— every bite we had was exceptional. The wine is also very tasty with natural options. The restaurant itself is cozy and comforting. The staff is also very lovely.

We had our wedding lunch in their beautiful Georgian dining room on Ely Place recently and had an amazing time. The organisation and communication from the team before the event was so easy and they couldn't have done enough for us, helping with flowers and storing the cake. All of our guests were raving about the food and it was so lovely to have our own space. Couldn't recommend it highly enough for a special occasion.

Myself and my girlfriend had an amazing food and wine secret pairing. Our server gave us in depth descriptions of each dish and the wine that came with them. Cocktail bar
Peruke & Periwig is a French-inspired venue located on lively Dawson Street. The three-storey Georgian townhouse features a ground-floor bar with wood paneling and a salon serving delicious meals upstairs. The vintage decor includes quilted red booths, gilded gold portraits, velvet furniture, and antique clocks. The drinks menu offers a mix of 1800s classics and modern concoctions like Tequila Mockingbird and Wrecking Ball.
A memorable cocktail experience The menu is built around wigs for some reason. Weird, yes, but it works The interior is wonderful, like some kind of posh Victorian hotel. Every drink I had was unique, interesting and tasty I ordered a Brandy Alexander and the bartender went to the extra effort to make sure it was just right, checking the quality of ingredients and she went This place is a gem

“Great cocktails and a warm vibe. Loved the live jazz singing by @ericassings. The jazz singer’s velvet voice filled the room with warmth and elegance—made the night feel special. Definitely worth a visit!”
Diana N — Google review
Very good cocktails, mixed service. I reserved a table online, but upon arrival got informed it’s only for an hour and fifteen minutes due to a “big reservation” arriving later… which i found quite rushed and inelegant for a place like this. The hostess was very unapologetic and disinterested in any conversation. We got seated upstairs. Nice decor, but some of it damaged and I repaired, bit of a sewage smell in the room. Luckily from there it got only better. Our margaritas were delicious and bartenders super attentive and kind. Mixed feelings really.

Vert nice experience, different from the usual busy pub and crowds! nice atmosphere, it feels like you are in old exclusive club, where gentlemen go to chat and drink! Sabina, (I'm not 100% sure if that's her name) the Barwoman made very nice cocktails and she is very good! for something a little different i surly recommend it

Disappointing Experience – Rude Security (man named Kingsley) and General Poor Communication We booked this bar for my mams 60th birthday celebration with a group of 15 people, most of whom were over 50 including 1 guest in his 80s. We had communicated a minimum of 15 guests with potential for a couple more, and they graciously accommodated 18 guests in total. Unfortunately what was meant to be a lovely night (and it was up until the end) turned into an upsetting experience for us. The party arrived before my mam as it was a surprise, and when we arrived there was no mention of a time limit stay. There was also no mention in the email or communications about this. When we were asked to leave, the wait staff got the security and was very rude and aggressive towards us. We mentioned we weren't notified of this by email, or calls – and showed the security man (Kingsley) the communications pointing out this, Kingsley then, almost slapped the phone away and told us to get out. We moved downstairs while we were waiting for a taxi, and Kingsley again being rude and aggressive told us we cannot wait there either. We explained our great uncle is 80 and we're not waiting out in the cold. He had a dismissive behaviour but let us wait inside. I asked him his name as I wanted to report him for his behaviour, and he wouldn't tell me, I had to go to the bar lady who did tell me his name. The place itself is lovely, and as I said it was a nice night - I just hope management can look into improving communication and ensuring all guests are treated with courtesy in future.

From the moment I walked in, the cozy, vintage atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The cocktails were on another level—creative, delicious, and beautifully crafted. The staff were so friendly and took the time to recommend drinks based on what I like, which made the experience feel personal and special.

My friend and I dined here with an 8 p.m. reservation and finished around 11:45 p.m. We chose the tasting menu, but the courses came out quite slowly. Several of the dishes had a noticeably sour flavor — maybe that was part of the chef’s theme. The atmosphere itself was lovely.

Love everything about this place!!! Best food we had in Dublin and should be Michelin starred. We got a wine pairing with our experience which I would say is a must because the somalier is very knowledgeable. If we ever return to Dublin, we will be returning!!!
Lauren — Google review
Amazing experience, food and service. The only slight minus was the cold welcome by the lady at the reception desk. A smile and a different welcoming phrase anything other than " what can I do for you", would be nice to match the rest of the atmosphere and well thought dishes/matching wines.
Dan — Google review
The food was really excellent. However the location lacks ambiente and is way too noisy. Staff is very nice but not very helpful about the food expérience. Basically they were simply stating the same thing as listed in the Menu, no added value or insight. Two of our courses were served in the wrong order. Waiting times between dishes were also quite random and sometimes we got our food after others that arrived half an hour after us. The food is good but to make it worth the full price it would be good to the see the expérience extended to the whole establishment.

Lemon Crêpe & Coffee Co., located in the heart of Dublin's city center, has been a popular spot since 1999. It offers deliciously thin, French-style crepes with a wide variety of toppings, making it an ideal place for people-watching and enjoying a sweet treat. The bright orange space is known for its classic lemon and sugar topping, but there are many other options to choose from.
Excellent spot for a savory crepe and a latte! Went twice during my time in Dublin, and it was great both times. It gets busy at times, so finding a seat is hit or miss I was told, but I lucked out both times. Really great crepes, can't complain at all! Would definitely come back!

First-time visitor to Ireland. Was told this was a great place, near our hotel, for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The big breakfast crepe was delicious (have to put the BalleyMaloe relish on it... yum) The sugar waffle was even better and the Americana coffee was very good. It's a small quaint place with outdoor seating.

Went for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The omelette was very good and the pancake and french toast surpassed expectations. Very generous portions and well made as well! Drinks were good too. Only thing was that the omelette seemed to have a sweet aftertaste that seemed strange. Maybe the same utensils were used to cook something sweet before.

This place is amazing for their crepes. Truly delicious and a great variation for both sweet and savoury. Vegetarian options are available . There’s also delicious hot waffles to choose from! (And of course sandwiches and french toast). I tried the caramel mocha and that was delicious. I visit this place quite often because it never fails to satisfy. The staff are very lovely and efficient. The atmosphere can be quite busy. Outdoor seating is available. It is a small space so wheelchair or stroller accessibility might be challenging. Ann's Bakery is a small bakery in Dublin's North City that serves up delicious sandwiches and cakes. The staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for lunch or a quick snack.
Ann’s Bakery: A Hidden Gem of Heavenly Feasts on Henry Street Today, I discovered an absolute treasure on Henry Street – Ann’s Bakery – and it’s safe to say my taste buds are forever grateful! Their roast carvery menu, priced at an unbelievable €17.95, is pure magic. This incredible deal includes a mouthwatering main, a decadent dessert, and a comforting cup of tea or coffee. I went for the Turkey & Ham with all the trimmings, and oh my goodness – the thick-cut slices of meat were so tender they practically melted in my mouth. The portions were so generous that I flirted with the ultimate sin of gluttony, but still couldn’t finish it all. Not to worry – I left with a bonus second dinner to enjoy later! Let’s talk about dessert. The first one was heavenly, but I couldn’t resist sneaking an extra. No regrets – Ann’s desserts are as irresistible as the mains. What makes Ann’s Bakery even more special is its cozy, hidden upstairs seating area. It’s like discovering a secret haven of quality food and unbeatable value, right in the city center. If you haven’t visited Ann’s Bakery yet, do yourself a favor and go! This hidden gem will blow you away with its incredible food, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a dining experience you’ll keep coming back for!

Ann’s Bakery is a great spot right in the heart of Dublin. The location couldn’t be more central, making it perfect for a quick stop or a sit-down meal while exploring the city. The space is big and comfortable, with plenty of seating, which is a huge plus in such a busy area. The food has that classic Irish feel — hearty, tasty, and made with genuine care. Whether you’re after fresh pastries, a full Irish breakfast, or something warm for lunch, the quality is consistent and satisfying. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back. It’s one of those places that locals have known for years and visitors are always happy to discover. A solid choice for good Irish food, generous space, and welcoming service — right in the centre of everything.

A bit rude lady in the cash = not friendly customer service ... Cakes with strawberry are only for display she meant in her "own" style and said they are not for sale....not sure whether that is true!! Maybe it was a bit far for her to reach🤫. The cake was good though without strawberry. Wont recommend after this experience as a customer but the food looks and tastes good. Employee-behavior has a long way to go. Thanks.

THE WORST PLACE IN DUBLIN! First of all, they delete all the bad comments you put on them. As for the site, the workers are very rude, especially the blonde manager and the teenagers who work, they laugh at you and do nothing to understand you apart from being racist! They try to scam the tourist so BE VERY CAREFUL! In addition to the quality of the food, it leaves a lot to be desired, they keep the food trays for two days, health should go to check the hygienic measures. IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

Today we went to Ann's Bakery to get lunch. There is a deal you get 2 courses. You get a main meal and a dessert. I got fish and chips. For dessert I got a strawberry cheesecake. My son tried the roast Carvery. He had turkey and ham with roast potatoes and vegetables. He had a Black Forest Cake for dessert. The food was alright. I thought my fish could have been a bit crisper. The place was clean and the staff are friendly! They also have lots of fresh cakes and pastries. It has a bakery section too.

We had breakfast here and the service was absolutely excellent. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, which made the whole experience even better. In fact, it was so good that we came back the very next morning—and were treated just as kindly the second time. We tried the pancakes, banana bread, and French toast, and everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The location right by the water adds a lovely touch, and the atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and very enjoyable. All in all, this place is a gem for breakfast—great food, friendly service, and a wonderful setting. Definitely worth a visit (or two!).

Ordered the Kinder pancakes and the Irish breakfast — both were tasty and well-prepared. The menu offers a good variety and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The atmosphere is bright and casual, perfect for a relaxed brunch. The only downside was that the service could’ve been a bit more personable and friendly — it felt slightly rushed or indifferent. Still, a solid spot for breakfast or brunch in the city centre, and I’d definitely go back.

We had a very bad experience. The waiter was very inattentive and constantly rushed to the door to open it to other guests while we were ordering. He also repeated our order correctly but still forgot part of our order so wee had to wait again. They did not have a lot of the menu and it was sad that they could not at least make the dish with one ingredient missing (e.g. the chicken chorizo sandwich could not be ordered even if we were fine with getting it without the chorizo). They also rushed us because there were people waiting even though we only stayed 40 min for a breakfast. We also saw the waiter putting in his eye drops. No washing hands or going to the bathroom, just in front of all the guests. We think that was very unhygienic. The food was good. The french toast was very nice! We will still not be coming again.

Token in Dublin is a unique and fun dining spot that offers a variety of options for both plant-based eaters and non-vegans. The restaurant, which won the Dublin Restaurant of the Year award shortly after opening in 2017, features a retro gaming arcade theme with pinball machines and offers a diverse menu. From vegan chilli dogs to Big Macs, tacos, and garlic parm fries, there are plenty of choices for those following a vegan lifestyle.
Pretty cool dining experiences. Pretty packed on a Saturday, which is to be expected, so make sure to book. The food was delicious and the games collection was very nice and diverse. Will be back!

The arcade games were fun. You need to wait for a bit when there were many people. The hot chicken burger was very nice and it is quite spicy - My mouth was on fire! The IPA ambush beer is tasty too! Heard the vegan dishes were great so will come back with my vegan friends next time.

I was part of a group booking and we had the place to ourselves (+150 of us). The concept is great, the space is lovely, and the staff were terrific... great service team. But the food was a bit disappointing... as someone in our group described it, "it's like children's birthday party food." Still, good drinks (including tasty mocktails) and great games mostly from the 90s. Token donations go to dog charity! 🐕🐶🐾

A place for fast food both vegan and vegetarian. They don’t allow children below 18 years and so we had to sit outside as our 5 year old granddaughter was with us. Weird because we just had taken the Guinness storehouse tour, taking the child along. Anyways the food was not bad and service was apologetic and sincere. Looks like a popular place for youngers to hang out and play arcade games and have fast food.

It's amazing. Honestly one of the coolest places I've visited in Dublin. The food is good and there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, the list of cocktails was vast and there were non alcoholic options. The staff were really lovely and helpful for any questions we had. The arcade games are so much fun and there are so many to chose from. This places looks fantastic and is fantastic would recommend to everyone!

Awesome place to have some food and drinks and play classic arcade games as well as pinball. The atmosphere was lively, young crowd (students?), everyone's trying to have a good time at the machines even if they're not particularly gaming-oriented. Don't miss the back room and the basement, where there are more machines. The food is great, the portions are generous. Drinks are good too. They started shutting off the machines at 23:00, leaving me with a few unused tokens in my pocket. That's my only critique.

Cool, trendy, alternative spot. Good food, bacon burger is very nice, buffalo Wings are really spicy. Filled with old arcade games and pinball machines.

The friendly staff and impressive food menu featuring spicy buffalo wings, fish and chips, and highly recommended steaks make it a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts. With its passion for pure flavor and quality, Casper & Giumbini's promises an enjoyable dining experience every time.
It's a charming bistro—fast, as expected—with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is affordable, though portions are on the smaller side, which is typical for Dublin. A selection of Georgian wine would be a perfect addition to the menu—perhaps that’s yet to come.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and overall, it was a good experience. For starters, I had the French onion soup, which was quite good, and the shrimp appetizer was also well-prepared. However, I was a bit disappointed with the beef bourguignon. The meat was drier than I expected and rather stringy, which took away from the usual rich, tender texture of this classic dish. That said, the sides—both the fries and the mashed potatoes—were excellent. While not perfect, the meal had some highlights, and I’d consider returning to try other dishes.
Nicolas F — Google review
Very elegant and clean restaurant. The stuff very professional and very attentive. I ordered amazing wine, sparkling water which both were served to my glass. I recommend the onion soup as a starter. They were very kind to ask me if i am finished with my soup to bring my main plate. Linguine with shrimps. Best cooked and fresh shrimp i ever had, cleaned from their back (the intestine). For dessert i ordered the salted caramel fondant with half the amount of ice cream for personal reasons. I did make a reservation 3 hours before just to be sure. I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!

Visiting my friend who lives here and we hadn’t tried this place before. We sat at the bar and had some dinner. I had crispy buffalo wings with a blue cheese sauce then the gnocchi for my main and it was so tasty. Bar staff were professional and efficient with service, couldn’t fault them. Will come back again for dinner. Recommend.

Spent my birthday lunch here alone on a wednesday and everything went very well. I was seated to a dark corner initially but as more customers came in and seated to the tables next to me, they decided to turn on the lights at last. Service was excellent and food was served promptly. I dont drink alcohol so i got the non-alcoholic cocktails and they were surprisingly good. The food was delicious as well and I really enjoyed everything i ordered. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would definitely come back.

Amazing place! I had the fresh oysters and the tuna tartare, both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I sat outside, and it was very comfortable thanks to the shade and the attentive staff. The atmosphere was beautiful, with lots of lavender, bees, and birds. It felt so nice to be surrounded by nature near the coast. I definitely recommend it!

It's been too long since we have been here last so an event in the theatre next door was the ideal opportunity to go again. We got traffic on our way to the restaurant so phoned to say we were running late. Arrived to be whisked to our our table seamlessly that showed good old fashioned proper hospitality is still alive. Colouring pencils for the the little person straight away and making sure her pasta arrived first but done in a way to make her feel like a third adult and not a child. Our waiter was amazing, figured out we had a show to go to and made sure to communicate with the kitchen to get food out. My Tuna Niçoise salad had a proper tuna steak cooked perfectly. I could have been in the south of France. Overall, we just couldn't fault Caspers and will be back just more quickly than before.

The Powerscourt Centre, housed in a beautiful Georgian building near Grafton Street, features over 40 shops and restaurants, showcasing Irish design and craft.
Hidden gem of a place! Very unassuming from the outside but we had a wonderful breakfast here. My toasted salmon bagel was absolutely delicious and fresh - the best I’ve ever had. My partner really enjoyed his chicken and pesto toasted sandwich too 🥯 Also it was Valentine’s Day when we visited and they gave us a love heart chocolate with our coffee! ❤️ Very friendly service and great value for money for Dublin!

During my stay in Dublin I had breakfast here twice since I loved the first one so much. Staff is super friendly and the food is really tasty. I had the bagel with salmon twice, I loved it and still think about it.

My first visit to Dublin, we were on our way to St. Patrick's Cathedral and happened upon Bite of Life to grab a snack. I ordered a green smoothie, a berry smoothie, and a slice of salmon quiche. Both were absolutely delicious. I genuinely would like to remake the quiche recipe at home because of how unique it was! The green smoothie tasted very natural and healthy. I would definitely recommend. For the rating, since I am obviously a tourist, I don't understand the politics of Dublin, but for some reason every store front had a lots of political flags. It was a bit unattractive for me as a customer, but otherwise really appreciated the food and services of the cafe. Also the prices were a bit surprising, we paid $35 for two smoothies, a slice of quiche, and a side of scrambleld eggs, and smoked salmon.

My husband and I went to Bite of Life for coffee and a cake. The coffee was great, the cake was lovely, and it’s nice that they have gluten-free options for coeliacs. The staff were friendly and pleasant too. However, there are some real downsides. The bathroom is extremely small and definitely not suitable for disabled people or anyone who needs more space. What really put me off was seeing how the food was prepared — while waiting to pay, I saw staff cooking eggs in the microwave and heating up bacon the same way. It’s a pity because the coffee and cakes were good, but after seeing that, I wouldn’t go back for anything cooked.

In short, Bite of Life is a wonderful little gem that pairs great hospitality with a warm ambiance. Nightmarket is a charming Thai restaurant located in Dublin, offering traditional and authentic Thai cuisine. The menu features classic dishes such as Gaeng Massaman Curry, Phad Thai Goong, and Tom Yum Goong, reflecting the diverse flavors of Thailand. The restaurant provides a family-friendly experience with a flavorful yet mild menu suitable for children. With its narrow dining area adorned in simple colors, Nightmarket captures the essence of a Bangkok noodle stall and quickly fills up with locals and visitors alike.
Had an amazing dinner at Nightmarket last Friday. First time we tried it and not the last! Everything was perfect. Just one thing though, the potatoes in my wife’s curry were not cooked enough so they were a bit hard but aside from that, everything was delicious! Highly recommend the banana rôti with condensed milk and the sticky rice with mango 👌🏻 😋

This was easily one of the best meals I had in Dublin. Flavourful, spicy, and warm in the belly I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Its a bit expensive, but the portions are big enough for two meals. I will always pay money for good food and will absolutely be back to this place again. In a city where this is so much bland and flavourless, this truly is a standout place.

I wasn’t going to write a review… but then the staff made it so that I had to! I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy, so I came back an hour later. Not ideal, but I really wanted to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. They eventually found me a table, and from there the experience was exquisite. The food was incredible, I had the mussels, the red curry duck, and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavor. The staff were so attentive, answered all my questions about the menu, and even recommended a perfect red wine pairing. The atmosphere was amazing, warm, lively, and inviting. Just make sure you book in advance ☺️

This is hands down our favourite restaurant! We have visited many times and it never disappoints. The authentic Thai food is absolutely incredible, the staff are fantastic and there’s always such a great atmosphere.
Katie G — Google review
I have been always looking for a good thai restaurant that would serve good drinks. But it seems that I can always get either or. Nightmarket was unfortunately no exception. Let’s start with the environment. I made a reservation for the tunnel room. When I arrived I was offered a table outside by a pile of boxes. Upon requesting a different table, I was sat in proper tunnel room. That was great. I must say the restaurant ambience is nice, most table are good and it looks great, except for the table I was offered initially. Now the drinks. They have excellent drinks. I was very pleased. I just think they could have been faster. It took a long time to get drinks for a small place. The food presentation was great but I thought the flavor wasn’t there. I had a Tom Kha Gai soup and it was great. The pork skewers are fantastic. Then I had the Miang Kham and it was disappointing. It was a very dry dish. Well presented but very dry and not to my taste. Then we had the pad thai, the mango salad and the papaya salad. The mango salad was great but the fried crab that comes with it was over fried and tasteless. We could not eat it at all. The pad thai was not bad but it was missing something. It wasn’t the best but again, I was disappointed with the flavors. The papaya salad was tasteless and probably the worst I ever had. I love papaya salads and usually I ask it to be made mild so that I enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors were not there. It was like it was missing something. Again the same pattern. Since the experience was not that great, we decided to skip desert. In conclusion, I believe they need to speed up the drinks and enhance the food flavors. Everything else was great. This place has the potential to be the best in town. Just not there yet.

Slice is a cozy and charming cafe located in the northside suburb of Stoneybatter. As a sister-cafe to the Cake Cafe, it offers thoughtfully sourced cafe fare, craft beer, select wine, and delicious slices of cake. The menu includes hearty breakfast options like sausage and avocado scramble on sourdough as well as more virtuous choices such as various porridge options catering to those with dairy alternatives. Additionally, Slice is celebrating Pancake Day with three special pancake offerings.
I walked into this café by chance and I’m so glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. It’s always busy — and for a good reason! Everyone wants to eat here because it’s really that good. Even if there’s a queue, it moves fairly quickly, and trust me — it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Hello Jack - I appreciate your full refund . I checked my account and it’s been credited. Thank you . 28/10/25 Hi Jack I appreciate your reply to my review 5 days ago . You said you were going to issue a full refund ? Just wondering what your intentions are with this . I only ask because you said it in your reply . I haven’t seen any refund in my account . Respectfully Andy Has to be said …… Nice little cafe . But Not impressed with the food . Bit disappointed that the staff actually presented us with what was obviously stale reheated hard oil soaked hash brown . The veg and leaves with it were old and stale also . And I asked for sauce on the side which was not on the side - it was in a dish in the middle of my plate taking up half the space .so basically a tiny portion . And at there prices I would expect more . We got one drink each off the bill for this . But when the staff brought the replacement hash brown - it wasn’t much better . The coffee was lovely First visit . Not sure about a return .

Charming Cafe with Room for Improvement My visit to sample the highly recommended pancakes was met with anticipation, perhaps too high of one. While the pancakes were delicious, they didn't quite achieve the level of brilliance I had hoped for. The berry sauce topping, while flavorful, erred on the sweeter side. I must say, though, the cream was exquisite, but I wished there had been a tad more of it. As a devoted connoisseur of pancakes and French toast, I hold every dining experience to high standards, and these expectations can be demanding. On a positive note, the coffee here was rich and satisfying. The service from the staff was a shining star; they were unfailingly courteous and attentive, even when the place was bustling with people. One small downside is the cafe's size. They do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, but Dublin's unpredictable weather means it's often off-limits due to rain and wind. This cafe is a cozy spot with potential for even more greatness. The pancakes are good, and a slight tweak to the berry sauce's sweetness, bigger size and a tad more cream would make them superb. Paired with great coffee and exceptional service, it's a place worth returning to, with hopes of witnessing it achieve its full potential.

Wigwam is a versatile venue that has been a popular spot since 2016. It offers live music, including DJs, house, and techno acts, as well as a cool cafe/bar serving cocktails. The venue hosts drag brunches and features a rum-focused bar with ping pong in the basement, outdoor seating, and a rooftop terrace. Guests can enjoy homemade pizzas and various bites and sides while sipping on tropical cocktails like the Mango Macaw.
It would be great if double booking could be avoided or if everyone who paid for the gig was allowed upstairs. It’s much easier to get drinks and enjoy a comfortable smoke there compared to downstairs.

I went to Wigwam for the Drag and Dine event last Saturday and I had such a lovely time!! Aria Nasty was such a lovely performer and a great comedian!! She picked me for a game and it was super fun! I didn’t win but I still got a free shot for participating 😂😂 As well as Francesca Filler, she was dancing and flipping all over the room. She put on a fierce show, I was highly entertained. Both were amazing drag queens, as well as drop dead gorgeous. I’m so thrilled that I got to experience their show!!

Myself and five friends attended on Sunday for the drag brunch. The service was excellent (especially in keeping our hungover pal topped up with plenty of water), the food was delicious (perfect poached eggs!) and the drag acts were stunning. Funny, engaging, and really talented. There were also great drink offers available. The brunch offer is very good value. My only complaint is that the ladies' bathroom upstairs has just one functioning cubicle (and that cubicle doesn't lock).

Not great… we bought tickets for festa junina. Waitress took us to a basement with ping pong tables. She promised she’ll come back with water but we never saw her again. No music, no decorations, no party. Just bored people playing ping pong. After a while we decided to order drinks but these also never arrived. We spent around 40-50 minutes sitting there with other disappointed people and left. Also smell of the basement was not so great…

Quite a walk from the city centre, but worth the wait. We sat in open air seating, not sure if there was more seating inside, but the weather was good so we were happy outside. This is a pretty poor attempt at a food market. Have been here twice and both times its almost empty with no vibe or atmosphere. I realised though on the second visit that you can go into the pub next door and there is a big courtyard with a pizza bus that is a lot more buzzing and fun. The burger here was very mediocre and cost €25 for just 2 burgers and 1 fries to share! Bunsen and Five Guys are significantly better and cheaper and you get to eat indoors! If you go here, go into the pub next door.

I know this place has alot of 5 star reviews but for me it waa really dissapointing. It is the only cafe on Bull Island and by default the atmosphere is perfect because you're outside on a fabulous Irish island sitting by the sea with wild birds at your feet and landing on your table, but this has nothing to do with the cafe. The seating provided by the cage isn't great, it's OK. The toilet you can use for only 30 cents by tapping your bank card, if it supports your bank card, if not... tough... yet my card is supported for me to pay for their food and drink... on tthat, note the toasties were poor, the drinks were just OK. The service was so slow if I hadn't paid in advance I would have left.

Kakilang is a vibrant eatery that brings the flavors of Asian street food to life, offering an exciting mix of sweet and savory dishes alongside their famous bubble tea. Despite facing challenges during lockdowns, this charming spot has thrived by providing takeaway and delivery services across Dublin. Their menu features mouthwatering options like Taiwanese chicken steak, Korean-style wings, and delightful takoyaki.
Amazing location. I have visited twice in one day. Both their morning and afternoon menu is superb. Me and my partner absolutely adore both their pancakes, especially the souffle ones. These are so fluffy and they melt in the mouth like cotton candy. Their savory menu is also great. I recommend takoyaki because they're so fluffy and salty, and I consider them a nice starter before the sweet pancakes. Also they have a great choice of bubble tea that comes in a nice sturdy and cute cup :) Also the staff is great. very friendly, and provide very professional and quick service :D

Soufflé pancakes was something I've wanted to try for a while, they were nice and not what I expected. There's a very strong taste of egg to them, overall very fluffy. I would say they need to introduce Vegan friendly option(s) as all the options contain milk and lactose. We ordered octopus balls as an appetizer but received the pancakes first then the savoury which was odd. My friend who got the octopus balls was weirded out by them, due to the texture and the chunks of octopus in them also, how the tuna was moving around as if it was alive, which was hilarious 🤣 The staff are lovely but a little in your face sometimes which I didn't like. I was in earlier in the week to try their lunch menu, I enjoyed it but the matcha was bitter.
Maria P — Google review
The pancakes were fresh and delicious. They were really thick(which I liked) and the green tea was flavourful and was actually warm which was for some reason unusual for me. My son had the hot chocolate and said it was really good. The workers were really nice and respectful. There’s more to talk about as well.

Pancakes to die for! Best in town. Great flavours 😊 Souffle pancakes were perfect! soft, light, fresh, and jiggly. Too bad we didn’t get to try creme brûlée as it was sold out. Make more please. Good combination with bobas.

We came to this place lured by the charm of the Japanese style pancakes, and definitely worth the trip. First of all, the sweetness balance, overall flavor and texture (which was really surprising, it's like eating a somewhat dense cloud) really felt like I was back in Japan, which already is a win on my book. They were also fairly filling and reasonably prized. The place had good ambience and was confortable. Definitely a place to come back to whenever I get nostalgic of japan.

So happy that this place added new flavours to their soufflé pancakes! It is great to find a place in Dublin that makes it. It is very well made and fluffy similar to what I had in Japan. Highly recommend

This place is a must try! We tried their famous souffle pancakes with mixed fruits and cheese foam along with a plate of korean fried chicken wings. Both tasted amazing! The souffle was so soft and creamy and would melt in your mouth! The fried chicken was crispy and yum. We also tried their taro milk tea, which was good too. It's a perfect spot for brunch or catchups conveniently located in the city center.

Drury Buildings is a trendy restaurant and cocktail bar located on Drury Street. The spacious venue has been creatively transformed, offering a variety of seating options with colorful art and exposed brick decor. Known for its Mediterranean-inspired local cuisine, the restaurant also boasts an impressive cocktail menu with mixologists who can craft personalized drinks based on individual preferences. Additionally, the establishment features a beautiful garden that is reopening for brunch, lunch, and dinner service from their Josper charcoal oven seven days a week.
I loved Drury Buildings so much I ended up going back twice in one week! Everything from the food to the service was spot on. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The prawns were delicious and perfectly seasoned. But the real surprise? The focaccia with aioli dip—simple but absolutely packed with flavour. A perfect start to the meal. Service was incredible both times—friendly, attentive, and impressively fast despite how busy it was. Drury Buildings is definitely a new favourite. Highly recommend!

A very good tapas style bar with a large variety of options to choose from. Service and food were good! Drury buildings gets pretty busy on weekends so make sure you make a reservation if you’re planning to be many.

Wanted to love this place, but was underwhelmed. My actual server seemed annoyed I was there and only checked on me one time (besides the initial ordering and bill service) even as I saw her check on others. I had to order more through the host who came to check on me throughout the night. Maybe they were understaffed, who knows. The food was mostly good (some of it a bit bland for me), and came very quickly, but the cocktails were the real star! Great atmosphere, I just think the service and food menu could use a little more attention for the portions and prices. I ordered two cocktails (€14.50 each), olives (€6), focaccia (€8), a salad (€12), and the octopus (€15)

Great food, great service. Had the sauteed shrimp and n'duja sausage, buffalo chicken wings, and loaded fires with bacon. All hot and delicious, served extremely fast! Chef's kiss!
Jack N — Google review
Very disappointed with the food here. The focaccia was really bad, no salt was added and it actually tasted stale. The arancini needed more seasoning, as did everything to be honest. Very small portions for the price you pay. The venue itself is lovely but I’d be returning for drinks only.
Remy N — Google review
Cozy atmosphere, very attentive and fast service. Food was okay. Forcaccia was dry, I don’t know how long it had been ready, but it was TOO DRY. Fries are fries, nothing special. Arantines were too moist and I could barely taste the rice, chicken buffalo winds nothing special. I don’t drink alcohol, so I got a Coke Zero and they gave me an alternative, a house brand, I don’t know... AWFUL! Bad taste and it still costs €4.80! I didn’t even have time to complain because the bottle was already open... anyway, terrible!

Great variety on the menu, everything we got was delicious, staff very friendly, I’d recommend the Scampi and the ribs

Krewe North is a delightful eatery that captures the essence of New Orleans right in the heart of the northside. This laid-back spot serves up an array of cocktails, wine, and beer alongside classic Cajun dishes like po' boys and jambalaya.
Highly recommend for a slightly different and refreshing Cajun-inspired taste experience and funky vibe. We had a shared calamari starter, crispy grits and jambalaya for mains with the mac-n-cheese side and topped it off with a shared eton mess dessert. Presentation and flavour was flawless and I particularly enjoyed the interesting taste combination of the grits, which is the first time I've ever tried this dish. Portion sizes are substantial but staff were happy to box our leftovers to go. (Bizarrely, they won't do that in the North. Something about food safety laws, but seems like an incredible waste.) We had a "few" cocktails. They were impressively presented and garnished. While they tasted lovely, for the price of them (€14 for most), you'd like a little more of an alcohol kick to them. All in all, you'll enjoy a visit here, unless you like your cocktails as strong as a vodka martini or a negroni. In which case, you'll still enjoy the food, and the pretty colours of the cocktails!!

The food was tasty—I especially loved the prawn tacos! We ordered: - Prawn tacos (the best part of the meal) - Chicken tenders and fries (came with beef and cheese) - A glass of wine and a Corona However, the place was extremely busy, which made the experience less enjoyable. The total came to €65, which is reasonable for the food, but the crowded atmosphere was a downside. If you don’t mind the bustle, it’s worth a try—just maybe not at peak hours.

We made a brunch booking for when they opened. It was not very busy, so you could walk on. However, if you plan to go later make a booking. The waffles were great with American style bacon. The chicken and biscuit were top notch, and the French dip poboy was amazing. I can doe happy having eaten that bread. The food is great. The drinks are good, and the service is quick and attentive. We can't wait to go back.

Food was so good that we went back the next day! We were only in Dublin for 2 nights and stumbled across Krewe on the first. I had the double stack cheeseburger that had crispy maple bacon on top - this was UNREAL. Also - you must try the pecan pie and beignets!!! Our server was Clara and was exceptional and so so lovely. BAR 1661 is a trendy spot located in Parnell Square, Dublin. It's at the forefront of reviving poitin, Ireland's traditional moonshine. The bar has a stylish interior with leather-top stools and dark green wall paneling, creating a cozy atmosphere. Named after the year poitin was banned, BAR 1661 offers an array of cocktails showcasing this once-lost spirit.
Bar 1661 is truly a gem! They offer a fantastic range of cocktails, and my top pick was the “Parts Unknown.” I really enjoyed the welcome cocktails too. The only downside was that the music felt a little too loud at times.
Amy A — Google review
Bar 1661 is IMHO the best cocktail bar in Dublin. It specializes in Irish Poitín, but has everything else you’re craving, too. Roberto and Brenden really did it up for us sitting at the bar, making us some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, letting us try some special tastes, and giving us excellent recommendations for other bars in the area. We also got to meet Qhuy, who was awesome and funny as well. I literally can’t think of a better, more well-rounded crew to man a bar than these guys. I hope I get to come back someday, but if not, thanks Roberto for making it an incredible experience, and I’ll see you at your sisters wedding 💃🏻 (lol obvi)

Went here because it was recommended by the Micil distillery in Galway as the best bar serving Poitín cocktails. It was a great experience as the cocktails were amazing and the lovely Casey who served us really made it a special experience. She gave us a surprise round of Belfast Coffey (which they are most famous for) as a surprise for my Dad’s Birthday. Super busy place but they went of their way to seat us and make it a very special experience. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable on the cocktails! Highly recommend!

The Poitín Mecca in Ireland if not the world with a truly world class and award winning cocktail menu. This has been on my must visit list for over 3 years now and I finally made it. Bonus time was meeting the Poitín King of Ireland himself, Dave Mulligan, and feeling the passion for our native spirit ooze from his every pore. They have the biggest selection of Poitín on the island of Ireland along with a great Irish whiskey selection. Food offerings are as well curated as their drinks with lots of fantastic small bite offerings which are a must, as some of 28 cocktails on the list pack a punch! Get in here. Enjoy great drinks. Tip well.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin is a stylish and modern five-star hotel located near Stephens Green Shopping Centre. It offers chic designer bedrooms, a glossy bar, beauty salon, and gourmet restaurant including the Michelin starred Thorntons restaurant. The hotel's interior design by Sir Terence Conran reflects its vibrant atmosphere with pops of color throughout the rooms and trendy amenities such as chartreuse bathtubs and Murdock toiletries. Guests can also enjoy the tranquility of St.
Beautiful hotel located in a central area, easy walking access to shopping, transit is just outside the door. Service is impeccable, staff are friendly and accommodating, breakfast service is fast and very good, highly recommended. Marjorie, was my go to for breakfast, she was pleasant, funny and welcoming, a great ambassador for the hotel look for her you'll understand my comments! Hotel is a little on the expensive side, but you will not regret the choice, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special.

We stayed at The Fitzwilliam Hotel in Dublin and overall had a lovely experience. The location is fantastic — central, convenient, and walkable to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, and so many great spots around the city. The interior is beautifully designed with a modern, luxurious feel throughout the hotel. We especially enjoyed the hotel bar — great drinks, lively yet refined atmosphere, and friendly service. It was a perfect place to relax in the evenings. The stay was comfortable and the service was strong overall. We’d stay again for the location, design, and bar — and hope for a bit more flexibility next time.
Connie O — Google review
Not even close to a five-star hotel. The Fitzwilliam markets itself as a five-star hotel, but that’s incredibly misleading. There are no real amenities — no pool, no spa, and the so-called “gym” is the size of a small hotel room. Easily the worst hotel gym I’ve ever seen. The rooms look nice at first glance, but they’re poorly designed — the tub/shower is oversized and almost unusable. The real deal-breaker though: no air conditioning. We called the front desk, they said they’d send someone to fix it. A staff member came, couldn’t fix it, said maintenance was on the way. Hours later, still no one. At 9 p.m., I called again — the manager finally came up, confirmed the AC was broken, and said, “We can try to get it fixed tomorrow… we can give you a fan for tonight.” A fan at a “five-star” hotel. They offered to move us to a smaller room with a smaller bed, which wasn’t a solution. Then came breakfast. At check-in, they said breakfast was included. At checkout, suddenly it wasn’t — and they charged us. To top it off, they treated my wife rudely when we tried to clarify. Like the guy at the front desk was better than her or something. Real POS. This place might look upscale online, but don’t be fooled. Zero amenities, broken AC, poor management, and dishonest communication. Definitely not a five-star hotel — maybe three stars on a good day.
Zach R — Google review
My recent stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin was, unfortunately, a series of avoidable disappointments that no discerning traveler should have to endure at a purported five-star establishment. While the hotel is undoubtedly well-located and well-appointed, my experience was marred by a profound lack of professionalism, troubling mismanagement, and egregiously inappropriate behavior by senior staff, which makes it difficult to recommend this property to anyone seeking genuine hospitality. I was initially offered a room upgrade on the first day, presented as a gesture to address a miscommunication regarding my initial reservation. However, this ‘upgrade’ did little to address the far more pressing issues that arose later, including unbearable noise from the air conditioning, unreliable Wi-Fi, and the manager’s behaviour—each of which worsened post-upgrade. The offered upgrade should not be construed as compensation, as it did not even remotely rectify the systemic failings I encountered. In fact, it was a mere token attempt to smooth over deeper, unresolved issues, and the hotel’s insistence on presenting it as a form of resolution is both disingenuous and misleading. What is truly egregious, however, is the behavior of the Front Desk Manager, whose unprofessional conduct undermines the very standards of hospitality one would expect at an establishment of this caliber. Rather than engaging in meaningful dialogue to address my concerns, I was met with frequent interruptions and dismissive comments. His failure to even acknowledge the validity of my complaints—coupled with a disturbing pattern of showing overt deference and politeness toward other guests based on race—was both disheartening and unacceptable. Such behavior is not merely a lapse in customer service, but a glaring failure of basic ethical standards. What is particularly troubling is the hotel’s complete failure to take ownership of its shortcomings. My complaints, which were both legitimate and clearly communicated, were met with deflections and misleading justifications. Despite receiving a partial refund from Booking.com—a result of their own investigation into the matter—the hotel itself has failed to issue a direct apology or meaningful compensation. This glaring omission of accountability and transparency paints a concerning picture of an organization that values its image more than its guests’ experiences. The failure to address these issues transparently and professionally, especially after so many opportunities to do so, indicates a systemic problem in leadership and staff training at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin. This hotel’s management clearly fails to understand that luxury is not merely about offering upgraded rooms or polished interiors—it is about cultivating a genuine atmosphere of respect, fairness, and guest-centric care. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere. Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin is woefully lacking in the essential pillars of hospitality: professionalism, transparency, and respect for all guests. It is unfortunate that such a property is allowed to tarnish its reputation in this manner.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin is a stylish, five-star experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right on St. Stephen’s Green and just steps from Grafton Street, perfect for exploring the city. The rooms are modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, with lovely touches that make your stay feel special. The staff are exceptional—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great selection of high-quality options, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed yet luxurious. Whether you’re in Dublin for business or leisure, this hotel is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

4.5 ⭐️ Staff all really lovely, location superbly located to Grafton Street, valet parking was ideal, breakfast really good, the room was clean warm and comfortable. But the room (upgraded to superior on my stay) was small for what it cost…noticeably small. Dublin hotels are expensive, to be expected, but still the room was small. Will stay again.

A great location, boutique style so very small rooms unless a pricey top end one. The only minuses are the smallest ever gym and no spa, also our shower did not have enough water power to wash hair. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar had a good atmosphere. Fairly quiet also. The 6th floor rooms have no lift for now, I suppose it was coming at some point.

The bar gets 5 stars! The kitchen 1. Such a diverse place, you have bartenders making some of the best Irish coffees we ever had and then you have a kitchen with a promising menu but really bad executed. Check the poached eggs in the pictures, they were over done and the brisket was like beef jerky, dry and chewy. The rest of the food was looking good but it was like it was made yesterday. The establishment looks more like a night bar than a cafe. Definitely I would go back for drinks only :)

With limited seating inside, patrons often enjoy their toasties and wine outside on sunny evenings. The knowledgeable staff and warm atmosphere make it a must-visit for cheese and wine enthusiasts.
Perfect spot for people-watching and having a good chat! My friend and I had a lovely time here, we totally lucked out with the weather so we got to enjoy our drinks and cheese outside on the little tables and chairs. There’s also indoor seating in case it’s raining or you’re just in the mood to be cozy inside. I actually love that it’s a small space, it makes the whole experience feel warm and intimate. There’s just something really nice about it. And the cheese omg its so good🤌🏼🤌🏼

Really cute and trendy spot in the center of Dublin, next to George st. There are lots of wine and cheese options here and really cute outdoor seating. However, it is really difficult to find a spot and even if you order you may not have anywhere to sit.

What a waste of money, time and health. Poor service and rude staff. There is a very small selection of wine by the glass, which is totally fine. But all – without exception – of the wines were from France. For a wine bar that is not specifically labelled as French, I would expect more. I then ordered a red wine. The wine was poured with her back to me, hidden from view. An absolute no-go. Then she says she's not sure if it's okay. She asks a colleague. She's also unsure and says they'll probably have to open a new bottle. Okay, no problem. Then they asked a third employee. He grimaced but said that everything was okay, and I got the wine that two out of three people found questionable... Then I ordered a small cheese platter. Two out of three pieces of cheese had mould on them! And no, it wasn't blue cheese. I pointed out to them that the cheese had mould on it. They just said that this can happen and is normal. No, it's not! Not on a normal sliced cheese! They then simply ignored me and didn't say another word to me until I just left. So, two very likely spoiled products, and that for 25 EUR! Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place!

A really fun concept that is executed well. Great food and nice wine! The place is very small, so not good for groups of 4 or more. There is outside seating though. Toasties are great, the one with chorizo is spicy so be careful!

In Ranelagh, it is conveniently located in the center with parking for cars and bikes. The supermarket offers a good selection of items, including home goods, although it may be slightly pricier than neighboring Lidl due to its focus on quality and variety.
A great supermarket with a good variety of fresh and high-quality products. The prices are reasonable, and they often have attractive discounts. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean and well-organized. The international products section is also well-stocked, making it easier to find specific ingredients. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

I visited this store today and paid 20 euros in cash for some items. I usually pay by card, so I didn’t pay attention to the change. When I got home, I realized I didn’t take my 6 euros change. I returned to the store and talked to a staff member. She told me that the next customer took my change and that she couldn’t do anything about it. I feel very disrespected by this situation. This can be seen as theft inside your store, and your staff acted like this is normal. I was expecting, at the very least, to get my change back.

I wish I could give zero stars! I had a terrible experience at the self-checkout. One of my items wouldn’t scan, and instead of helping me, the self-checkout assistant told me I had to enter the barcode manually myself. I tried, but the item wasn’t even in the system! While I was waiting for another assistant, she accused me of not paying and said loudly, “You have to pay,” in front of other customers — which was incredibly embarrassing and completely unnecessary. Thankfully, another staff member came over and fixed the issue within a minute, handling the barcode properly without blaming me. Of course I intended to pay, but being spoken to that way was rude, offensive, and unhelpful. Staff should focus on assisting customers, not accusing them when the system fails and just hanging around the shop!

I had a frustrating and disappointing experience at this supermarket due to conflicting information about the car park refund policy. The first staff member told me to rip off a part of the parking ticket, but when I went to get the refund after shopping. I was told by a rude lady I needed to return to my car and bring the complete ticket. After doing so, she kept the entire parking ticket without telling me in advance or during our conversation, which meant I was unable to leave the car in the car park—even though I still had time left on the ticket. Poor communication and unhelpful service made the situation unnecessarily stressful. I will not be shopping there again. Attached photo I had cut from the issued line following the first person request. Stay clear of this place.

I have to say the staff are so rude. Which is so sad, because it would be a lovely place to shop (other than the quality of the fresh produce which is not great). They really bring the value of the place down.
Brigi B — Google review
The staff and manager at this SuperValu store need proper training—very poor customer service and a lack of politeness. Easily the worst SuperValu in Dublin. The only phrase they seem to know is, “We can’t do anything.”
Varghese P — Google review
Well stocked store , good selection of produce ; abysmal customer service upon inquiring as to the location of an item . Shocking . Self-serve checkout Only . Parking is limited .

Irish restaurant
Clanbrassil House, led by head chef Grainne O'Keefe, has gained recognition for its culinary excellence. O'Keefe's tenacity and skill earned her the Best Under Thirty chef of the year award from the Irish Times. The restaurant also received accolades in a New York Times article.
The ambience is neither luxurious nor especially comfortable. However, the food is fantastic. The Veal sweetbread is one of the best I've ever eaten and could be on the menu of a 3-star Michelin restaurant. The dish was well-conceived and perfectly executed. The service is efficient and kind. I strongly recommend ordering the tasting menu, because it offers a great cost-benefit ratio.

I know everybody and their brother has reviewed this place, but I’m gonna give it one more very positive review and include photos of creative and well matched items. We were fascinated and enjoyed the complete menu. The only thing that went a bit too far was the chocolate mousse with multiple other things in included in it. The mousse itself was excellent and would’ve been better left alone. Bravo!!!

We went here recently because we live nearby and were delighted to have tried it out. It’s a small space with limited opening hours, so you might have to book well in advance. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was nice and calm. This is a sister restaurant to Bastible, and while there are similarities, there are also a tonne of differences. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys tasting menus and trying new foods and combos.👌🏼 💫

This was such a nice hidden place to find! You have to reserve and the dishes change monthly. the course is a slow paced dinner so a lot of time to catch up with friends but beware if you have plans afterwards! The full tasting course took almost 2.5 hours (6:30 until 9pm~)

The balance of ingredients are perfect, tuna tartare’s umami enhanced by the parsnip and the jalapeño & coriander sauce added refreshing note to the taste. Smoked trout amazingly good, that’s the second time in my life eating non-salty smoked fish, really impressive, the flavour enhanced by fermentation of protein and subtle salty sweetness balanced with the potatoes, fried mussles(juicy bomb!). I had the french toast as dessert, rhubarb icecream was nice but totally too many food for me. I was sampling this place alone and I’m happy that it would be note down on my list to bring friends for gathering celebrating special occasions. Lovely staff, thanks for all your help, looking forward to the dinner tasting menu with donuts!

Charming local restaurant! Our lovely server was very knowledgeable about the wine menu and offered her recommendations. We opted for a Sardinian red which was very interesting and easy to drink. The food as a whole was well thought out and you can tell the chefs know flavour. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my dining partner was very impressed with her fallow deer. The only let down sadly was the cheeseboard... Neither of us enjoyed the oatcakes and would have preferred a crisp cracker but that could be a personal preference. Also the apple jelly wasn't a crowd pleaser for us. Overall it was an enjoyable visit and I would wholeheartedly recommend.

A must visit dining experience in the heart of Dublin. The food is refined and warming to the soul. A tasty experience for anyone looking to venture outside their culinary palette. The friendly staff make the cozy setting a wonderful place to dine for two or four people. If you’re visiting Dublin for the weekend make sure to book a reservation in advance, you don’t want to miss out! Cheers!

This is the best meal we had in Dublin! Food taste and presentation was beautiful - loved everything we had. You can really tell that every ingredient is sourced from the best Irish produce too. I highly recommend this place!

Eathos, located on Upper Baggot Street in Dublin, is a whole foods cafe and restaurant with a unique philosophy centered around quality and provenance. The establishment offers a fresh approach to food and incorporates international recipes to create interesting and tasty dishes. Known for their challenging baking such as friands, financiers, and sable pastries, Eathos has gained popularity among locals and visitors alike.
Very nice cafe and amazing food 😋. They have very amazing sandwiches 🥪. If you order a sandwich and add 2 euro more, you can get a cup of soup. They have many vegetarian options and also their soup is very amazing 👏. They have 3 restaurants and all have delicious food 😋. Their salad 🥗 and protein combinations are a must try. They also have nice coffee ☕️. If you order a sandwich 🥪 i will recommend to put 2 euro more and add a cup of soup 🍲.

We came here for some brunch on Saturday morning. The food was good although a bit salty and I would've loved if the squash came with some bread since it had a lot of feta cream and only two slices of squash. The service was very friendly and the brasilian music that was playing created a nice atmosphere.

My new favourite place for Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, breakfast/brunch served all day even during the week (last order 2.30pm). The benedict are called "Pulled Ham" on the menu and the eggs royale are called "Smoked Salmon" and as a bonus both have spinach as well. Absolutely delicious and the presentation is perfect. Coffe and orange juice were also great!
Elena G — Google review
Went here on a friday for lunch however, the service wasn’t the best. After being seated we already have in mind what we want to order but it was difficult to get the attention of the waitresses because they were so busy but we waited patiently. A family of 4 arrived and was seated on the table behind us and quickly got their food because they ordered in the till. While our table kept being signalled to wait by one of the waitresses for the second time, at this point 25mins has already passed. And the table behind us were finished eating at this point. I stood up and asked one of the waitresses (younger lady) if it’d be best to order in the till and she pointed me to the till so I kinda assumed that was a yes. The other waitress approached us and asked us to have a seat and wait and she’ll come to us (she was the same one who signalling to wait, but she kept setting up/clearing tables instead of taking our orders). I was on my way back to our table when the lady in the till/barista/waitress kept asking us what the matter was, but at this point I didn’t want to engage because I have already spoken with the other two waitresses. So I was like “we just wanted to order” she then walks us back to our table and said “you have to stay on your seats, we have waitresses around and one was just behind you.” She sounded frustrated and she then took our order. I got my soup and bread within 5mins, but there wasn't any soup spoon 🤦🏻‍♀️ and it took them another 25 mins for them to get to my mom’s order salmon and buckwheat salad which was just in the till, they just need to grab it but they have apologised because they’ve totally forgotten it. There was a gentleman seated alone in the table beside us, he got there first before us but no one took his order so after a while all he managed to order was iced latte and a glass of water because his hour lunch break was already over. I was lucky enough that I can have a 2 hour break. The ambience is good, it’s nice and quiet, I like the interior too and food is good but the whole experience could’ve been better.
Jazz B — Google review
This gaff is dead, low music, ugly interior with kitsch decorations, no atmosphere whatsoever and food was pretty abysmal. My chicken sandwich wasn’t fresh in any sense but it was €17. It’s trying hard to be fine dining and completely forgets that it’s a cafe. All the fancy branding in the world won’t hide glaring foundation flaws in this place, don’t bother with this kip

The acai bowl was very delicious! The flat white was a nice choice. The açaí bowl was absolutely delicious! The flat white was a good choice and complemented it well.

I don't normally post reviews but feel obliged to respond the last review. 3 - 4 of us who work in the area meet for coffee 1 - 2 times per week. It is our favourite coffee shop - it is bright and breezy, the staff are invariably extremely pleasant polite and efficient. Stephanie in particular always has a smile for customers and is a super manageress.
Seamus C — Google review
Excellent experience as always at Eathos. Stephanie and Pablo consistently go above and beyond, always friendly, hardworking, and willing to stay past 3PM to serve up lovely flat whites. “Service with a smile” doesn’t even do them justice!

The Orange Tree Bakery Rathmines is a charming bakery and coffee shop that offers a delightful selection of pastries and expertly brewed coffee. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the establishment provides valuable work experience for students. Customers rave about the delicious Oreo brownie, caramel bar, and kinder brownie, as well as the possibility of new additions to the menu like heavenly chocolate cake. Visitors can also enjoy perfectly brewed lattes while indulging in delectable treats.
Best Brownies I’ve ever tasted! They have lots of flavours but my fave is Chocolate Orange! 10000% worth the visit. I also buy them for dinner parties as an effortless dessert and always goes down a TREAT.

Been at the orange tree bakery over the weekend and cannot recommend enough! Staff is really friendly and helpful. I was a bit indecisive cause everything looked delicious but ended going with the cookies and brought some brownies home that are delish too!

Delicious toasted sourdough, ham and cheese, nice touch with the few chrisps. A few more on the menu I’m looking forward to. Highly Recommend the Orange tree’s new lunch offering.
William C — Google review
Decided to try it after passing there so many times. This brownie was the worse I have ever tried in Dublin. It doenst have the softness on the inside or any chocolate flavor to it. The outside was as crunchy as a rice cracker covered in chocolate. Absolutely 0 flavour and 0 texture. I am only given good starts for service…
Carol T — Google review
I adore this place! Cozy vibes, friendly baristas and coffee that just hits right! ❤️ Perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend!
Julia W — Google review
I was waiting on my bike to be serviced and I was tired so I decided coffee and chocolate. I saw a coffee shop which said they had the best brownies in Dublin so I thought why not? The shop itself has a huge selection of brownies and I went for a basic chocolate and a latte . I sat outside. The coffee was good. The brownie was good but a little small but then again I’m a big lad. The coffee was good and I’ll definitely be back,

Came here to try their brownies and they didn’t disappoint 😋They have lots of options: peanut butter, kinder bueno, raspberries… super tasty! Weather was lovely so we could sit outside, sip tea and enjoy the buzz of Rathmines. Staff is very friendly too, they let us hang out for as long as we wished!
