I’ve visited this place a few times now, and it never disappoints. Their oyster stout is absolutely outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve had. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is great, with three levels to explore and a fantastic selection of beers on tap. A spot well worth returning to!

We went here twice in one day. We went around lunchtime for casual drinks and ended going back for supper in the downstairs space. The restaurant upstairs is a very typical high end microbrewery but the downstairs space is beautiful. Everything we ate here was great. The steak, the breads and dip, the crisp potatoes were all very tasty and I would highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Andrea. Everything came out exactly as he described it; spot on from start to finish. Went to celebrate a friend’s graduation and it’s was absolutely amazing. The place is beautifully decorated for Christmas and it feels very cozy. Andrea was serving us and he was super nice and helpful, the food was delicious, same as the selection of wines and drinks. They were very kind to add people to the booking and even take us earlier so would definitely recommend.

Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. The portions are huge! And it was a real piece of flaky tasty fish - not just a flat piece of deep fried batter. If you're in Dublin - go here!

Had a fantastic Dinner at the Black Sheep today. We had the Bola Chilli and the Chilli was one of the best I had. But be warned it is a little bit spicy. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Good beers, very friendly service, excellent pizzas. Prices a bit high for the area (Inchicore End - 45 min by bus from the Center) but according to the quality of products. Good bargain if you pass by the shop (The Off Licence as its called here): decent prices plus 10% discount if you already tasted their beers (but only rhe same day, so be sure you check well your bill).

Rascals is hands down the best spot for pizza in Ireland. They also offer an amazing selection of their own beers, making it a perfect place to unwind. We’ve been coming here for years, and they’ve never disappointed us. The vibe is absolutely fantastic, and I’d highly recommend trying their brownie dessert, it’s the perfect sweet treat to finish your meal. A couple of years ago, they had a delicious spicy nduja pizza on the menu, which we absolutely loved. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available, and we really miss it. We’re hoping they bring it back someday, as nduja seems to be off the menu entirely. That aside, Rascals is a highly recommended spot, whether you’re planning a casual hangout with friends or a date night. It’s a place we’ll always keep coming back to!

Locally you won't find a better pizza anywhere around. Proper light pizza doesn't give you that ate too much feeling. Would definitely recommend Rascals if your a pizza lover and im sure once you taste it you'll agree. Nice friendly atmosphere and really cool interior inside. Will definitely be back again.

If you’re looking for a proper pizza and a change of pace for a pint, here’s the place. The pizzas are light but filling. Everything came out fresh and had a good amount of toppings. The crust is crisp, crunchy, and thin with a good amount of burn you’d expect from wood fire. The pints are creative creations that go well with the food. They’re light and flavourful. Nice big fresh sandwich. Decent price. 10. Glass of wine expensive over 10.00 didn't look at the menu so my own fault. Large selection of beer. Service friendly but slow. Especially as always seem to be way to many staff to customer ratio. This visit place was quiet. But the place echoy due to furniture style.

Pleasant staff. Sat at the bar for a pint and some food. I had the satay mushroom bowl with tofu and my friend had the house salad with chicken. Both could have used more sauce/dressing. The poutine was excellent. Great place to watch sports.

We had a really good beef burger & chicken burger on a Friday afternoon. Great value, main, side & soft drink for €13.50!! There was a delay in getting our meal but it was handled very well by the staff. Definitely recommend

The only reason I didn’t rate my food 5 stars, is because it was a bit too spicy. Other than that I was PLEASANTLY surprised! I’m usually a very picky eater because I’m scared of germs and new food but this place was awesome. It was clean, happy environment, and the food made me come out of my comfort zone to try. I got the California bagel with everything removed except avocado but when my food came out it had avocado and grilled chicken. BUT, it looked amazing and even though they were very apologetic and willing to make it again, I insisted that it was okay and I didn’t mind. And I’m so happy they accidentally put chicken on my bagel because it was absolutely spectacular!

A good selectio nof beers, food is ok. Place obviously gets very busy on Friday nights. That being said it is in a great location and overall I would recommend at least for one pint. As the night progresses ove on to places with more atmosphere.

Very cool atmosphere and large inside. The view is stellar as it overlooks the water and there is the option to sit outside as well. They had a very nice tap selection and a robust food menu, but I thought the portions were small for the price. The food was really good though! The upstairs kitchen is very cool with shuffle board. The staff were fine, not super friendly but provided prompt service. Definitely a great spot to stop for a bite and a beer.

I know this place is famous for their craft beers but the brunch here is worth the visit too! There are outside chairs and tables and a lot of room inside as well. Sunny day brunch would be perfect here!! We always come back here for their buttermilk chicken and waffles. The chicken and the waffles are the crispiest i ever tried! We also tried here the american breakfast, buffalo chicken wings and their burger. All options are really goood! If you want that satisfying kick from their chicken wings, try their buffalo! one of the best! And the view here and the vibe is cherry on top! This is a really good place day and night!

Not entirely sure if I understand the concept - the write-up mentions state of the art hi-fi system which is barely audible and seems no better than any smart speaker on the market. Great chill spot for cocktails. Mango groove was lovely and we also had the big smoke which was a great non alcoholic option. The atmosphere really adds to the experience. We went on a Sunday for live jazz and really enjoyed it! We got two pizzas for dinner and they were great.

My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening without reservations and the whole place was booked, but we managed to have our pints at the bar and the staff were super friendly about it. The interior of the place is so cool!

Excellent assortment of local craft beers. Very nice variety tap list with a wide variety of brewers. The other real gem is the bottle selection, they carry Cantillon beer ( wished I noticed sooner) and other gems. Wish you were here IPA was pretty good, had a nice hop bitterness but balanced. Knowledgeable bar tender, not at all busy on a Sunday night. No food just great beer.

They've got a great draft list and immaculate vibes - this was my favorite spot for a pint during my trip to Dublin. It's close to the touristy areas, but offers a very local vibe and focuses on independently-owned beer brands. Highly recommended if you want to move beyond macro brews during your trip!

The bar has a good range of craft beers, including some gluten free options; they also have a recurring pub quiz. This bar is very small so it can be crowded/can be hard to find a place to sit, but the atmosphere is nice. However, sometimes, later in the evening, it can be a little too loud to easily talk.

A nice pub for lunch and a drink (wide variety of beers and ciders!). The food is generous and tasty and the menu has a nice selection including vegetarian options. We had the falafel and beetroot hummus salad and the chicken and chips which were good. The staff are also friendly which is always a plus.

I came here with my wife for a few beers and pub food. The beer selection is top notch with ~25 draft beers from the US and Europe. My wife had a Lagunitas IPA and I tried an IPA made for P. Macs from Trouble Brewing. My wife had the chicken sandwich and I had the chicken wings. Both were good but not great. I would go back for the beer selection and the ambience is extremely cool with the red candles.

Looking for a good atmosphere, music and food experience, then P. Macs is a great venue to enjoy all three in a relaxed environment. Though the place offers also a few board games as well. It’s family friendly on afternoons in general and well situated within a small walking distance from with Tara or Pearse stations.

Delicious and perfectly cooked and constructed burger. Great beer and atmosphere. Even in the busiest of times was able to find a seat at the bar to enjoy this meal. Fries included a delicious aioli. Would certainly recommend!

I guess much could be said about this place. So, let’s do just that. Is it packed by genZ and millennials? It is … and it lends the place a certain inviting vibrance. Is the food better sounding off the menu than on the plate? Well … served lukewarm, yeah. Could probably be something else once they serve their food piping hot. Is it sporting a beer board worth the detour? Well not many places can claim they have something “all that special” but they tend to keep it interesting enough. Final question. Bring it on! Should you pay them a visit? The answer is : Hell Yeah!

Darren and Samantha were exceptional, truly. I've scarcely been ciceroned so well. I appreciate the ability to guide me between the best of the states and those of Ireland and accept my cantilever of "only Irish" and still be very useful. The combination of great staff and a great buyer. All staff were very helpful, but Darren and Samantha were exceptional - and I don't use that term often. Food was very good, to someone from the states. The Chicken salad didn't disappoint a meat eater on meat overload, plenty of beets and pickles to maximise the tasty delight. Double burger if you want to go full American. If you don't start with the halumi fries, you might be wrong. I'd come here again in an instant.

Incredible food! The fish and chips is probably the best one I’ve ever had and the duck wings are not to be missed! Also loved the cauliflower and potato dish, definitely didn’t miss the meat. I love when veggie dishes are thought out and not just an after thought. Highly recommend.

Very good food - special shout out to the modern take on a black pudding! We would 100% go back to eat there again, but the service unfortunately felt quite rushed and disorganized. I enjoyed a scrumptious vegan Sunday roast here today with all the trimmings. The nut roast had a lovely meaty texture to it and the gravy was very rich. My friend had the vegan haggis, and she was equally as pleased. We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which while yummy, we felt it could have been a little more moist. We will definitely return though!

Great location, excellent selection of craft beers. The worst nachos I have ever had.... and that says a lot... I eat plenty. However, if you like stale nachos out of the bag with squeeze cheese spread, you will love it. Go for the beet and board games, not for the food.

Ah, what a lovely place it is! They have amazing, mouthwatering craft beers for a very reasonable price. The staff was just fab! The barmaid was an indescribably kind and helpful young lady, providing the very best of rock, grounge and punk music from the '90's... Great place drinkwise. Food is a bit average. Disappointed with the small burger for €14.50... (you get much more and better at Bunsen Burger) BUT have to withdraw one star as they were very inflexible..I ordered a burger and asked to substitute the fries with halloumi fries, even offered to pay the difference but they said their "system doesn't allow to book it in and it was too expensive to make the halloumi fries" Seriously, you don't want to make extra money and make the customer happy? Doesn't seem like a smart way of running your business..

Pulled pork burger and broccoli salad were excellent. Session IPA was one of best I’ve had. My wife loved the cider and pumpkin ale. Service was great. Chill vibe. Hits all the right notes. IDK how this place isn’t more popular.

Superb meal. Loved my t-bone steak, I esp loved the buttermilk onion rings. What i esp loved about this place is that they use beef fat. I was able to have fries. Service was just ok.

Went in for a weekday lunch. Had the spiced sausage and lentils - which was simply done, but beautifully flavoured. Followed by the fillet steak sandwich with beef dripping chips. The steak was insanely good and the chips amazing. Washed down with a lovely pint noir. 100% recommend this place.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Downstairs is a gastropub steak restaurant and upstairs is a nice bar. We had lunch on a Saturday and it was all quite civilised. Nicer vibe than the Temple Bar chaos but still lovely and enjoyable.

We had a great dining experience at Bull & Castle. The steak was on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was attentive and the atmosphere made it a nice spot for a special meal.

The best thing: the wine and the duck, really amazing. The rest of the food was ok. Staff told us we had limited time at the table, which was a normal amount, but then no one was able to take our order, we waited long for a few dishes, and dessert so, maybe more coherence/attitude could be nicer.

They are legendary for their steaks so it goes without saying that it was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed full of flavor but their other dishes were also amazing. The scallops were perfectly cooked and had a great sear and their dessert was phenomenal.

The heart of this distillery is a church that has been meticulously restored and beautifully converted into a production facility for spirits. The location is historic. Staff are friendly and informative. I'm not a serious whiskey drinker but this visit and tour were a pleasant surprise.

I’d highly recommend a tour and tasting at Pearse Lyons if you’re a whiskey and history lover visiting Dublin. The space is gorgeous and you get to learn about the history of the restored church, the rich brewing and distilling history of the neighborhood, and the effort to transform the grounds to the present distillery. There were options to taste 3, 4, or 5 whiskeys with a bonus tasting of one of their gins - all of which were lovely. They also offer other experiences such as a cocktail making class, which sounded fun!

The best distillery in town, and my personal favourite whiskey. They created a lovely distillery and shop in a former church and the esthetic result is beautiful. They are also really kind and explicative. I still remember the kind polish girl at the exit.

Super cool tour - not only do they do an interactive tour and explanation about distilling, but they also talk in depth about the restoration of the historical building and the graveyard. Highly recommend! PS - they don’t do cocktails, but they can mix their liquor with soda or juice and to make a drink and it is very cheap (my gin tonic was 3€!!)

We were shocked to walk in (just before Halloween/Samhain) and see the place already decked out for Christmas. Had a drink to say we did, not as expensive as people say, listened to the live music for a bit then left! Definitely busy but worth it for the atmosphere! Friendly Staff!

Everything was perfect. The drinks, the atmosphere, and the live singers. This is the place I would recommend visitors and locals to enjoy live music. Christmas decorations was also up in November! Do note that you have to secure your own table before ordering at the bar counter.

I visit Dublin with my nephew for a short weekend and obviously in my bracket list we had to visit Temple bar. Not only we were amazed with the iconic Xmas decorations but on top of that we had a great experience of Irish music. Love it 😍

Place seemed nice at first glimpse. The barkeeper was on his period I guess. We started playing a simple game with dice what makes him mad. We made some fun and sometimes a cheer. By the end of our pint he complained 3 times to stop making noice for the other 10 guests.

We went for the tasting menu, and the only thing we didn’t love was how quickly it arrived. But seriously, WOW!!! Each course was a burst of flavour in your mouth, and it was super worth it. The service was amazing, and we had a great spot to sit and soak up the awesome atmosphere.

Ive been to Fidelity twice now for dinner and cocktails and both times its been fantastic. Staff are really helpful at advising what to order and the food is tasty and interesting, a really good modern Asian tapas menu. Cocktails are excellent. Only reason I’ve given 4 stars is it can be a bit pricy, so more a special occasion option, but very much worth it nonetheless

My 3rd visit to Fidelity :) I like the vibe still. They really hv to do sth about the oil they use for deep frying … also splitting the bill to 2 cannot be a big deal imo but still loved the cocktails & Enoki mushroom 😌 This was my 2nd visit to this bar restaurant. I love the vibe & friendly staff, cool interior, nice food & nicer cocktails. The food is tasty & we tried many of them but some of them are quite greasy so we won’t go for them next time!

Fidelity is one of the best bars in Dublin, the interior is top class and the sound system is unbelievable. The staff keep the place in top shape when it’s busy and the toilets were clean all night. There’s a brilliant selection of beers on tap (especially whiplash), a breath of fresh air for Dublins nightlife.

I have been here a few times now and each time the staff are brilliant. The cocktails are a bit pricy but they’re 100% worth it. Caoimhe and Liam were serving me this weekend and they were brilliant. Despite being busy, they gave us their time and created the perfect cocktails to suit us. They were a great laugh and had high spirits and really made our night. If you love cocktails, this is the place to go. Their menu is creative and incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed a whiskey flight. The bar itself is super chill, a great place to relax. The shop is extensive, and they wrapped my set of champagne glasses well enough that they survived 3 flights in a checked suitcase.

Popped in for a cocktail in the middle of the afternoon. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The bar was beautifully decorated and the cocktail menu was very innovative. Service was excellent as well.

We had a terrific experience doing some whiskey tasting at the distillery. Roe & Co is part of the Diageo/Guinness family and this location is right across the street from the Guinness Open Gate Brewery tasting room. The funny thing is, this distillery opens before the brewery, and it was because we were a little early, we ended up going to Roe & Co first. We are glad we did! They have a good and interesting range for tasting including not just Irish whiskey so you can make a comparison between styles around the world. Visit the washroom and the gift shop. Both are interesting and have unique items like a choose and fill your own bottle.

Had a great experience doing the tour & tasting, which was both informative and interesting, as well as an interactive experience. Tim's quick wits and his passionate storytelling really made this a great experience. Definitely also take the time to drink one of their signature cocktails in the adjacent bar!

Truly one of the best distillery tours I’ve had! Tim, our guide, was incredibly informative and funny. Our group was very small with only three people, so the whole experience felt personal and genuine. The blending/pairing portion was the best part and unique from other tours I’ve done.

The Brewery itself was interesting especially if you are a beer fanatic. It goes in-depth on the history and creation of this famous brand of beer. But really the fourth star was for the self serve restaurant at the top of the museum. For such reasonably priced dishes the food turned out better than my expectations. I thought it was going to be a tourist trap, instead it was a delicious meal.

Overrated. You will spend your money much better and have a batter time if you go to a pub instead. The museum is anticlimactic compared to them.

This is one of the best tour/ experiences I have been to. If you’re visiting Dublin, even if you don’t like the taste of Guinness, you should still go here. It’s very well organised, loads of interesting information. Videos, info plaques, photos, sculptures. A great taste session. And at the end of it all you get to pour your own pint and drink it. (Or you can get them to pour it).

We went for a late lunch to try out the restaurant. There was a lot of hype about the restaurant. The food was good but the drinks were expenses. €16 for a cocktail. The server was very attentive and friendly. The food was reasonable but not remarkable. The atmosphere was what we were there for. The organ looked neat, the stained glass was pretty and the bar looked fancy.

What an amazing place! Dropped by with a group of friends after an evening event and we were blown away. This is a converted church that still has the magnificent large pipe organ - such a unique atmosphere! We managed to order dinner just before the kitchen closed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The burgers were excellent. As if the setting wasn't special enough, we even got to watch some Irish dancing during our visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food in a truly one-of-a-kind venue!

My general opinion is that it’s alright. I think the place is better for partying, drinking, and having fun in general, because it’s very loud – you can barely hear the person you came with. The most outstanding thing is the Irish dancing on stage – that’s so impressive! The food is tasty. One unusual thing happened when I asked if it was possible to charge my phone (I had my own charger). The woman from the staff said it was only possible if I gave her something like a €20 deposit, which she would return later. I’ve never heard of anything like that before, and in my opinion, it’s completely strange. But the place is definitely worth a visit.

We were very happy with our guide. The tour was fairly short but entertaining – the funny and engaging guide took us through the production area, where we saw the distillery and fermentation process. Afterward, we had a short tasting session. There’s also a great bar you can visit after the tour, along with a shop for souvenirs and whiskey. Highly recommended! I did a guided tour of this place and i have to say it is really really cool. Even from a perspective of a whiskey non enthusiast, everything presented to us, from information to samples, was interesting. And admittedly, partly inherently and partly because the tour guide (Marc i think) was spectacular and humorous when delivering the information.

Our tour guide Marc was great - loud, clear voice that everyone could hear - informative (just the right amount of information), interesting and extremely funny. Also kind enough to find my husband a stool whilst we sampled whisky at the stand-up tasting bar at the end of the tour. We stayed on for an extra drink afterwards. Definitely worth a visit

Visited Teeling Whiskey Distillery for a company event. The venue itself has a cool modern-industrial vibe with mixed lighting that sets the tone nicely. Staff were friendly and professional throughout. That said, with around 250 people in our group, the tour part didn’t really land - couldn’t hear much and ended up just walking through without getting any of the story or insight. Definitely not ideal for large crowds. The whiskey though? Excellent. Smooth, flavorful, and well-crafted - the tasting made up for the weak tour experience. Would recommend coming back in a smaller group to actually hear the tour and enjoy the full experience. Solid spot overall.

We had our tour with Clementine. Her knowledge was Incredible for someone who works at distillery for 5 months. She answered all the questions. You can see production of fine whiskey and at the end degustation 😁😁😁. Tickets from €20. Mine was more expensive €35 but worth it. Highly recommend experience

Great whisky tour at Teeling Distillery. Interesting to hear how whisky is made and they walked us through the production process and different equipment used. However, the tour is slightly boring, the only exciting part is the drinking of different whisky and purchasing mini gifts back home! ♿️ wheelchair accessible entrance and lots of space to move around inside. However some parts of the distillery have steps which may not be wheelchair accessible.

Lemon and Duke looks great inside. The space is stylish and comfortable, and the decoration gives it a nice atmosphere. The food is good and the waiters are friendly and attentive, which makes sitting down for a meal enjoyable. The downside is the bartenders. They come across as unfriendly, which puts a damper on the experience (at least with me). Go for the food and table service, and you’ll have a good time.

popped in Friday mid-afternoon for lunch and pints, nice spot. the service was excellent, before we could even say hi how are ya we were seated and I had an excellent pint of Guinness in front of me! I had the club sandwich, thin slices of roast chicken breast, good amount of bacon, and just enough of the tomato and mayo to make it yummy Mrs. had the house salad and declared it was excellent. very comfortable space, lighting was on the dim side, good 80s music overhead, plenty of people eating (but mostly drinking) after the pint of Guinness I tried a couple of pints of the JR Mahon's stout, I like it, strong coffee flavor. tastier than the G but not as tasty as Beamish but I don't think you can get Beamish outside of Cork. food prices were reasonable, pints were E7.50 each which is either good or bad depending on your reference point. we'll go there again if we are in the area, I'd like to thank our server for her professional and friendly service and one of the best smiles I've seen all year Sláinte!

Went here to get Shepherds Pie, they do not serve that but they do serve Guinness Beef Stew with mash and Soda Bread. A good compromise! The vibe was pleasant. Beautiful establishment, decked out with old memorabilia behind glass cabinets. The bar area was lit up with colorful lighting, the experience was a delight for the eyes! Service was great too!! Absolutely stunning. Between the Irish singers and dancers and great food (along with prices) this bar is a diamond in the rough. Skip the nonsense at Temple Bar and spend a night at an incredible Irish pub. The staff is friendly as can be and will bend over backwards to make your night enjoyable. So sad to witness the decline of this place. Visited two years ago and had such an incredible experience that I couldn't wait to get back. Unfortunately all the things I appreciated the last time through (great service, excellent menu) had gotten lost along the way. Although it was as very slow time, I was seated and given a menu. And then had to go find someone after 20 minutes to place my order. Ten minutes after that, I was told I was given the wrong menu and had to kind of start over. The menu was more limited than previously, and the quality had definitely declined. The fish and chips were soggy when served. The stew had good flavor but was not warm when served. Hopefully there will be some improvements made! The location is excellent, and the interior is very cozy and welcoming.

This is another one of those places where if you have too much to drink, you might not find your way out. Every single inch of this place is covered in absolute, beautiful woodwork, artwork, sculptures, whiskey bottles you name it, place is an absolute feast for your eyeballs. We were on a tour and we took the very top floor, which I think was probably five stories up, maybe, there were 42 of us. They served us all in about five minutes. And the food was five star. We wanted to go back during the day, but there was so much to do there that we never got around to it. So if you’re looking for something that is very memorable and a great place to take pictures this is your spot. You’ll probably never forget it.

We were staying at at the Camden Court hotel around the corner and The Bleeding Horse was recommended to us. We ordered the fish & chips with a few draft beers. It was enough for us to split (with the beers) and it was delish. The fish was a tad greasy but hey…..fish n chips, right? The fries were great and it was served with puréed peas which was cool!

Food was okay, chips slightly cold that came with the burgers. Seemed a little expensive for the quality. However spice bag and the Guinness stew tasted great. Service was adequate. I think they are better pubs to go for a meal in Dublin, but I can imagine it is a good spot for a drink.

What an excellent pub. Became our venue of choice (as it was next to the hotel). Very good food choice and quality, good selection of drinks, cocktails were excellent and staff were fantastic. Good tvs with sports shown, live music kept the atmosphere very lively. Toilets well looked after.

For a Thursday evening this place was very busy. Great atmosphere of you are out with your mates for a night out but perhaps not ideal for a quiet romantic meal. Love music is always a treat and the service was surprisingly quickly given how busy the place was. My BBQ chicken burger was very good but in fairness, by the time I got around to eating I could have eaten a bleeding horse!!

Great food and live music. Would recommend the mushroom aranchini! The loaded fries were good but worth noting they are very salty and a large portion, could probably share between 2 people.

Lovely pub! Visited on a Thursday and Friday night during my holiday in Dublin. Thursday was a nice atmosphere, lively but not overly loud, generally older crowd, mostly irish with a few tourists (like us). Friday was busy but still had seating available upstairs, many people stood outside drinking. Big selection of whiskeys, good beers, a helpful staff.

It's what you'd expect out of a pub. I asked locals and did research on where I could have the best pint of Guinness, as I frequently drink it, I was not disappointed, this was definitely the best pint of Guinness I've ever had. Their Guinness is rather easy to drink and more on the smooth side than the creamy side, depends on what you like, but this was perfect for us. The Bulmers off the tap was also excellent, it had kept its fizz quite well, as they're usually served via bottle. The barmen were fast and on point, no bullshit, just drinks.

The Palace Bar was on my “Dublin Pub Crawl” list and also came recommended by a few different bartenders, so I knew it had to be good. It is a very nice place and clearly a popular spot for both tourists and locals, and it is obvious why. The atmosphere is sharp, classy and lively. We went in hoping to grab a seat inside, but the place was completely packed. Not a single open chair. So we snagged a spot outside on the patio while I went back in to get our drinks. And that is when the madness began. In the thirty seconds it took me to get to the bar, the entire pub somehow filled up even more. People kept pouring in until there was barely any standing room left. It felt like the whole city suddenly decided to meet inside that one pub. Thankfully, I managed to get our pints before the real rush hit. I asked my wife, “What happened? Did a few Dublin buses stop out front and unload people by the busload?” We didn't stay long due to the crowds, but it was worth the visit. Overall, The Palace Bar absolutely deserves its reputation. Great atmosphere, great energy and clearly a hotspot for just about everyone in Dublin. Just make sure your prepared for a crowd, this place fills up quick, no warning at all.

We saw the notice saying live trad music on a Sunday night abs since it was Sunday we went up. The guinness was great, the irish coffee too. But the music was fabulous. As the evening went on musicians kept arriving. The music was good traditional music not fake tourist come-all-ye's.

Such a beautiful place, the design is beautiful. Service was okay, a little slow and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed. The food menu was not loading on their website. So I could not pre plan on what to order. Food was okay the seafood pasta was okay, a little salty. Drinks however were well made. I had the Tommy's Spice Bag Margarita which I enjoyed. The dinning room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean but one of the soap dispensers was out of soap, which can happen during busy hours. It was not busy when I was there. Over all I had an okay experience. Maybe it was an off day but I was not totally impressed on my first visit.

Came here for cocktails on a Sunday 2 for €16 which was delicious and the live music was such a treat! Would definitely comeback to this hidden gem for cocktails! Atmosphere is nice very chill and intimate on the upstairs room where the band plays.

This restaurant was a nice place to sit. The food was good, and they have live music. They have a great selection of beers and ciders. A big minus point is the service. There was only one lady waitressing the whole room. The wait for food was very long (around 40‘).

While on vacation from the US we stopped in to have a bite to eat after a long day of shopping. We were seated very quickly and had our drink order taken. After a long look at the menu we got the arancini as an appetizer and bangers and mash and the pulled pork for dinner. Our waitress was super friendly and a smile never left her face. Just made our dinner better. I never got her name, but she did say she moved there from Brazil if I remember right. She will definitely make your night better with her attitude alone. Thank you for an amazing meal and for contributing to my dream vacation.

We went on Saturday night for a late dinner. Good craig and very good service. We caught part of the live gig and it was phenomenal. We ask for different beers that they didn’t have but the barternder was very good at finding substitutes to our liking and they were actually better than the ones we asked. Definitely we will be back.

Walked in without a reservation and got seated quickly! Really impressed by the amount of beer choices they had, especially liked how they have the option of ordering a flight of samplers! We order a sandwich, oysters, and sweet potatoes fries. Had to wait a bit to get our orders taken/pay our bills but overall we really enjoyed our experience here!

We went for the wings Wednesday. The wings were great and very meaty and better than a lot of the other pubs around. Loved the beer and had exceptional service. The staff was very friendly. Also some great tunes the whole time. Really liked the vibe and in a very central location.

The Pornstar Martinis are so good!!!! One of the many reasons I will miss Ireland....beer and those Martinis. We also got a charcuterie board to share for 4, and it was the perfect size for us. Big place, and we didn't have to wait for seating.... we went at a later lunchtime. The prices we reasonable, but the service was a little slow...ever though it wasn't busy. But all our items were as ordered so I gave 5 stars!!!! Would recommend!

Worth a visit as it does have a very Victorian feel to it. Very nice but standard selection of beers. We only popped in for a Guinness while we waited for our next appointment to come around. Very nice place to people watch and relax. The prices were reasonable for the area.

Over the last few years my wonderful partner has been discovering his Irish roots and reconnecting with his Irish family. On a rainy afternoon in Dublin he was excited to share with me one of Dublins most iconic venues that has played its part in his recent odyssey. Upon entering it’s easy to understand why this historic boozer is a firm favourite with the locals and tourists alike. Obviously Guinness was our ‘tipple of choice’…( Like there’s any other when visiting a Dublin institution such as this! ) However, you have to understand when you order this national beverage in Dublin there are a few rules involved… NEVER drink from your pint until the nectar is settled and 100% black in colour. ALWAYS place your pint on a beer mat. - I got ‘schooled’ twice in a non verbal firm but friendly manner by the barman - Sláinte. The bar is very traditional, brass fittings, long case clocks, gloss paint on the walls and vintage branded paraphernalia returning you to the halcyon days of drinking - without the cigarette smoke. The place filled up quickly with locals, regulars and after work drinkers - a very pleasant time was spent but sadly after a couple of pints of the brilliant ‘black stuff’ we had to make our way back outside into the rain taking advantage of the complimentary umbrellas on offer at the door - which is a super nice touch and very useful. This has been my favourite place in Dublin for a Guinness since I first entered the door at 19 years old, 21 years later and not a lot has changed except the price of a pint but the atmosphere is still the same. Classic Irish pub with over 250 years of history, Guinness is exceptional. Highly recommend.

This old library may be better than even the Book of Kells. It’s like you’re walking through a Hollywood movie set. The books are beautiful as is all the beautiful dark woodwork. The old manuscripts are beautiful in the middle is cool. The big spinning globe is cool but is out of place. This is a must see in Dublin.

When I say "food", I mean some of the best pours of Guinness in the Dublin area. Great place. Cool vibe. And some great people behind the bar there to help fix you up with the perfect pint or other liquid libation.

This is one of the best pubs in Dublin, loved by locales and tourists alike. It has a beautiful Victorian era interior that's inviting and warm. You feel welcomed the minute you walk in. The menu is delicious, with a large selection of Irish cuisine with fresh ingredients. Whatever you choose, you'll be satisfied. Their pours are some of the best I had and if you're visiting Dublin/Ireland for the first time, this is a great spot to try your first authentic pint of Guinness. The service is also great. I came at a slow hour and had a nice conversation with the bartender about all sorts of topics. He was very knowledgeable about the drinks and had good recommendations for food. If you're interested into Irish history, I also recommend this place for you. This was once a meeting house for Irish Nationals in the 19th century, where the IRB would discuss strategies to end British occupation over Ireland before Ireland became independent. Overall, it's a great place for anyone and I'd highly recommend coming here if you're visiting or if you're a locale.

No Beamish! There is a pic from a couple years ago but they apparently switch out stouts. They had Clockwork, which was decent. I specifically came for Beamish (there are plenty bars in Dublin that serve it, was trying to see as many as possible).

Spent a Tuesday evening here as a couple. We sat at the outdoor terrace which had a lovely vibe, our server was friendly and chatty and overall the atmosphere was great. The servers also check on you often and food/drinks arrive fast. It got pretty loud and lively at times, but you can still have conversation. We had the special pizza (which had tuna tartare) it was so unique and unlike anything we had before, we absolutely loved it. I can confidently recommend their house cocktails as well, we had a few of those and they were amazing (especially the Regina!) We will be back:)

I’ve been coming to this bar for a long time and it’s always been one of my favorite spots. The service is great, the staff is super friendly, and the beer selection is top-notch. I often recommend this place to my friends — especially for the amazing pizza! Unfortunately, during my last visit, our pizza came out quite burned, which was a bit disappointing and threw off the experience with my friends. I know this isn’t the usual standard here, so I just wanted to share some feedback. I’m still a fan of the place and will definitely come back — hoping next time the pizza is back to its usual delicious self!

Such a cool and hip vibe to spend time on Friday night. The pizza is not sure with the price. It has lovely doughs but also has mussy toppings on the top with a small size. And the most annoying point is actually that all the staffs keep asking to order more like 3 times in 10 mins. We just finished pizzas and is kinda full to be honest with no room for drinks yet. But it feels like forcing to pour liquid into my stomach and then became so lazy to not chat anymore. I tried their cocktails a long time ago and it was average. Anyway it’s just all about the atmosphere.

I adored this restaurant and beer garden. The vibe was wonderful there and the beer tent was such a fun vibe. The beer list had lots of options and the personal sized pizza were amazing! As a sour beer lover and vegan there were plenty of options!

Great bar, away from the main tourist areas and definitely worth seeking out. Very friendly staff, great selection of drinks and absolutely fantastic pizzas. It was very busy when we visited (8pm on a Thursday) and I would say it's the same everyday. It's easy to see why it attracts such a crowd, a must visit when you are in Dublin.

Awesome spot in Smithfield neighborhood. Beer selection was incredible and the pizza was perfection. I ordered the potato and pancetta pizza and could not recommend it enough. The bartenders were super friendly and attentive and provided great service despite how busy it was. Would definitely add this to your list if you are in the area.

It’s definitely on the pricier side but considering it is located in a popular area, it isn’t surprising. The cocktails are lovely and very aesthetically appealing. The decor was what made us want to visit mostly, I enjoyed that they also have live music.

Met a girl here a couple of years ago. Neither of us remember much of it to be quite honest, but the next morning I had her number in my phone. Great pints, great atmosphere and now we're engaged

just your average dive bar. you think. nothing is less true. this is an amazingly fun, atmospheric, friendly bar, where the staff is super friendly and helpful, the drinks are dive bar cheap, where they don't skimp on the alcohol. the onion rings and wings in particular are insanely tasty, good portions, great presentation, and fingerlicking good. definitely will return next time I'm in Dublin. oh and also, on Wednesdays, you can try their wings challenge, which is incredibly nifty to have as an incentive.

Decided to check this place out recently. Right in the heart of Kimmage. A pub with its own brewery out back. On the day, of their 4 beers on tap, they only had 2 available. I specifically went here to try their Porter on draft, the fact that I couldn’t get, bringing them down to 4 stars. Apart from that though, pub is good. Very spacious with another room out back with another bar. It’s also a dog friendly bar. There’s seating out the front. For the Guinness drinkers, they have one tap and it’s decent. They have live music Weds fo Sunday.

No place like it. Great pints, traditional Irish music, BYOI bring your own instrument... kind of vibe. Unreal craic and pints. Great customer service, like no other around the area. Mini irish Gaeltacht style of pub... But no pressure to speak it. Dog friendly pub, and the staff love dogs. Water delivered to your table for your doggo. They don't serve food but I love that they allow you to bring food in from the local takeaways as long as doesn't smell too much. A great local watering hole!

Fantastic traditional pub for an authentic Irish experience. The barman can actually speak Irish, which is a rare find these days. I believe they plan to serve food in the near future but I haven't tried that yet. Oh, and dogs are welcome too!

This is such a lovely pub. Very clean. Bar staff are so kind and friendly. Mixed age groups goes here. Very lively at weekends with bands playing and music on the speaker. Affordable drinks. Great range of cocktails. Good for parties and having a good night out. The food does be lovely aswell. Highly recommend this pub to anyone. I definitely go here again.

Very good range however most of the US beers I’ve bought from them had aged very poorly and tasted nothing like they should have. (Mostly Hazy IPAs). The same style from the UK did not have this issue and were great. For those sold online only, it would be good to see the canning date or a comment on if they were refrigerated during import.

There are a large variety of craft beers from around the world. Hungary, Czech Republic, Ireland, etc. Come to this place and surprise yourself with something new, or just check out those crazy awesome designs on cans. Love this place.

Great service. The price on the website is different from the store price. Sad... The range is not very large. There are very few beers from continental Europe. No - Pohjala, Salikatt, Fuerst Wiacek, Puhaste, Sudden Death, Popihn, Folkingebrew, Lervig, Nøgne Ø, Rockmill, Funky Fluid, Apex, Nerdbrewing, Omnipollo and many other. However, they have the largest selection of craft beer in all of Ireland.

Best to-go beer value in the heart of Dublin. 4 beers for either 10 or 12 Euros. Hard to find beers from great breweries like Cloudwater and Garage.

My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.

I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.

Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.

This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Absolutely loved Boxty! The homemade bread was amazing, warm and fresh. The corned beef boxty was to die for — seriously one of the best I’ve had. The Irish stew was hearty and full of flavor. Great spot for real Irish comfort food!

My wife found this place with great reviews so went there and a had a 3 course meal with my wife and daughters. There was a slight delay in being seated even though we had a booking but it was well worth the wait. We shared 3 starters, the calamari, the chowder and the cauliflower bites. They came out pretty quickly and all cooked fantastically well with fresh ingredients,it was the first time one of my daughters had tried the chowder and she was blown away. The mains had a delay which our waiter apologised to us for, my wife and youngest both had the lamb boxty, I had the coddle with my eldest having fish and chips. Both the fish and the coddle were excellent, the lamb boxty was very nice but it was unclear that this was a curry. We finished with sticky toffee pudding, bread pudding and the girls having the brownies. The brownies were a decent portion but were a little dry, the other 2 puddings were excellent. We also had a cocktail each. All in all I highly recommend this place, it is a little pricey but the food is incredibly good. Very busy with a really pleasant buzzy atmosphere. We were also provided a shot each due to the delay with our mains, I have marked service to 4 stars due to the delay even with the compensation, I'm sure this was just a one off though.

Apparently one of the few shops in Dublin that serves Boxty, a type of potato pancake. Prices are definitely rather pricey. But there is a set that you can take for 36 euros that comes with a beer. The beef was pretty standard, it was Irish beef, i believe. The pancake itself was, interesting, slightly chewier than the normal flour pancakes. The sauce was delicious though. Do give it a try! It is a traditional Irish food!

Absolutely stop here if you have the opportunity! This has been by far my most delicious and authentic meal visiting here in Dublin. The food was warm, cozy and full of flavor. I tried 2 different cocktails, one of which is composed with Poitin, an Irish spirit I never heard of. My server and the entire staff was so nice and friendly too!

We found this restaurant during a food tour and the food was so good we came back a second time for dinner. We really enjoyed the beef and stout stew and the fish and chips. Thalia was very personable and attentive. Ask to be seated in her section when you come.

Had a great time here! The atmosphere was perfect and the food delicious. As a celiac it can be hard to find gluten free restaurants abroad, always seems like “a risk”, but here I felt super comfortable as they are aware of celiac/cross contamination and such and most of the menu is naturally GF. The cherry on the cake was the service, the waiter we had who I think is the owner was amazing!!! Just put a smile on our faces the whole time! Thank you, I will definitely be back next time I’m in Dublin :)

After our Guinness Storehouse tour, we wandered about 12 minutes down the road to The Brazen Head, Ireland’s oldest pub and is was a good choice for lunch. The place oozes history and charm, with its stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy corners. We ordered the Irish stew and fish & chips, and both hit the spot. I’d give the edge to the stew; comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. Liked the mash in the stew. Exactly what you crave after a pint or two of the black stuff. The fish & chips weren’t the best we’ve ever had, but still solid. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely Irish without being overdone or staged. A must-stop for a classic Dublin pub lunch. It is a bit kitschy and touristy, sure, but that’s part of the fun at the oldest pub in Dublin. 🍀🍻

Apparently the oldest pub established in 1198. They open at 12 and I would recommend you to come on time just as they fill up pretty fast once they open. I had the traditional brazen beef stew and the brown bread(which was basically Soda bread). It used to be called Guinness stew but they seemed to have since changed it. Taste wise, it wasnt mindblowing. It tasted like tomato soup cooked with thyme. Pretty much thats it. The beef portions were generous but most of the beef weren't exactly tender. They had a chew to it. The male staff over the pub counter doesnt seem too friendly either. He doesnt smile and just seem to have a cold efficiency towards his customers. Overall, the stew was just decent and I would recommend coming here especially just to eat the stew. If ticking off the box of coming to the oldest pub in Ireland is your thing, then yes you should.

Great spot to check out history-wise. Fine for a pint of beer. And when it comes to food it’s not my favorite pub, especially for Irish Stew (other places to go to for better fare). Would recommend other spots for a beer that are less tourist-centric and don’t have a line before opening.

I had a fantastic meal at The Brazen Head in Dublin! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of character, exactly what you’d hope for in Ireland’s oldest pub. I ordered the sausages with mash and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. The sausages were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the mash was creamy and rich, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The portion was generous and comforting, exactly the kind of hearty dish you want in a classic Irish pub. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to a really enjoyable dining experience. Whether you’re visiting Dublin or you’re a local looking for great food in a cozy historic setting, I’d highly recommend stopping by The Brazen Head!

If you really want to check out this place, the oldest pub in Ireland, and if you want to have the BEST IRISH STEW, go ahead. The stew was absolutely amzaing, far better than any other pubs. And considering it’s one of the popular tourist spots in Dublin, 22euros for that quality stew is not too bad, actuallly it is a good value! but if you want a hassle free evening without paying premium price for pints that cost probably 30% less in other local pubs, it might not be the place you’re looking for. One pint of Guinness is over 8 euros which is like 5 euros in other places. And it’s very crowded and noisy inside. But yeah, it is a place where a long queue spills out to the street. So, it’s your choice!

We stopped in for a late lunch and I ordered a Guinness and the Traditional Brazen Beef Stew. The food was mediocre at best, which was disappointing considering how talked up this place is. The portions were very generous and I left completely full, but the quality did not match the reputation. The service was not great either. Our waiter was quick with us and there was not much personality or conversation. It felt like he was just getting through his shift. Prices were similar to other places around Dublin, but for the quality, it felt expensive. We had similar meals at other restaurants on our trip that were much better for the same cost. What I will say is that the building itself is impressive. The layout, the stone walls, the old pub atmosphere all have that sense of age that you do not get everywhere. Even though we only came for the meal and did not stay for the pub culture or music, the place itself is worth seeing. Overall, the restaurant experience was nothing special for us, but the location is still something people should walk in and see when they are visiting Dublin.

Good experience here, came as part of a group. Only had selected options due to a group menu but overall great food. Chicken ceasar salad and the beef stew were good. Tried a few other options from individuals at our tables and they were good.

Very fun and beautiful restaurant and bar. We ordered the chicken wings that were tasty. Shrimp was tasty but a bit overcooked. Sauce was flavorful. Cassoulet was plentiful and delicious. Service was friendly. Good for a drink or a bite.

A wonderful experience, the waiter Christian (I believe that was his name) was wonderful. It was my birthday and we had previously eaten around the corner at another restaurant that was quite rude to us and Cafe en Seine turned the night around. Amazing atmosphere, delicious desserts and cocktails!

Absolutely gorgeous place to eat and party. The gin spritz cocktail and burger were both bursting with aroma and flavor. Lovely texture on the patties and bun. Fries were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of potato to crisp ratio. The establishment is very large with different types of environments for specific dining/drinking experiences. The rear bistro room is perfect on a sunny day; it mimicks being outdoors with it's enormous glass ceiling.

Much better than I expected! The interior looks small in photos, but it’s actually very spacious. We went as part of an event, so I didn’t enjoy the food much, but I think it could be much better at normal times.

I was there for a business event party and it was quiet good ambience. We had fun there and bar was really good, Staffs were very professional at their work. Vegan food is in limited option but it is still good for partying and vibing in the event. This Cafe is located near St Patrick's Park.

Is it a beautiful looking place? Yes Is it worth it? No 50minutes: that’s the time we waited for two brunch plates to arrive, one arriving cold. People who came after us got their food first. Honestly the staff isn’t welcoming, friendly or paying attention. No one is going to say sorry for the delay or ask about your experience. They are a big team so really no excuse. Food was plain, like no salt and pepper plain, not even a dressing in the salad. Not worth it for the price until they get their customer experience improved.

I would like to leave a special compliment for the waiter Júlio, who was simply wonderful! From the very first moment, he showed politeness, friendliness, and impeccable service. Extremely attentive, helpful, and always with a smile, he truly made all the difference in our experience. It’s rare to find professionals so dedicated, who genuinely love what they do and treat customers with such respect and care. Júlio is to be congratulated for his professionalism, charisma, and excellence in service. I will definitely be back and hope to be served by him again!

I was recommended to come here to from a friend and I'm sure glad I did. Busy line up when I arrived but it moved pretty quickly. Employees are there to give you samples while you wait, and they were more than happy to give you a few to try. I ordered the Sea Salt and Honeycomb Caramel, and both flavors were fantastic. Really rich and creamy, strong flavors. Dairy free options are their sorbet, and a few gluten free as well. Prices are reasonable for what you get, definitely give it a try if you love ice cream!

Murphy's ice cream is first-rate. Its flavors are true, its ingredients seem to be top-quality, and it's not super-sweet. The chocolate whiskey scoop we had along with a raspberry scoop today were both wonderful. And the person dishing up the ice cream couldn't have been nicer.

My smooth chocolate & strawberry ice cream was tasty. The ice cream is from milk from Kerry which is great. The flavours are a bit weird & not all of the same standard. Many are too sweet. Overall it's expensive for what you get. Service is excellent.

Dingle Ice Cream, just off Grafton Street, has quickly become one of my favorite ice cream spots in Ireland — in fact, it’s my second favorite in the whole country. The quality is excellent, and their creativity with flavors is impressive. I absolutely loved the chocolate with Teeling whiskey, a brilliant mix of rich and boozy notes that feels uniquely Irish. The texture is creamy, the taste is fresh, and the overall experience is fantastic. Definitely a must-try when exploring Dublin city center!

Very good cocktails, mixed service. I reserved a table online, but upon arrival got informed it’s only for an hour and fifteen minutes due to a “big reservation” arriving later… which i found quite rushed and inelegant for a place like this. The hostess was very unapologetic and disinterested in any conversation. We got seated upstairs. Nice decor, but some of it damaged and I repaired, bit of a sewage smell in the room. Luckily from there it got only better. Our margaritas were delicious and bartenders super attentive and kind. Mixed feelings really.

Vert nice experience, different from the usual busy pub and crowds! nice atmosphere, it feels like you are in old exclusive club, where gentlemen go to chat and drink! Sabina, (I'm not 100% sure if that's her name) the Barwoman made very nice cocktails and she is very good! for something a little different i surly recommend it

What a great quirky cocktail bar. Go upstairs where you will get popcorn and prosecco while they make your drink. I had the number 18, smokey and chocolatey

I got drunk but I like the cocktail. Good vibes and kinda classic , staffs are friendly, good service. Will visit again!

Disappointing Experience – Rude Security (man named Kingsley) and General Poor Communication We booked this bar for my mams 60th birthday celebration with a group of 15 people, most of whom were over 50 including 1 guest in his 80s. We had communicated a minimum of 15 guests with potential for a couple more, and they graciously accommodated 18 guests in total. Unfortunately what was meant to be a lovely night (and it was up until the end) turned into an upsetting experience for us. The party arrived before my mam as it was a surprise, and when we arrived there was no mention of a time limit stay. There was also no mention in the email or communications about this. When we were asked to leave, the wait staff got the security and was very rude and aggressive towards us. We mentioned we weren't notified of this by email, or calls – and showed the security man (Kingsley) the communications pointing out this, Kingsley then, almost slapped the phone away and told us to get out. We moved downstairs while we were waiting for a taxi, and Kingsley again being rude and aggressive told us we cannot wait there either. We explained our great uncle is 80 and we're not waiting out in the cold. He had a dismissive behaviour but let us wait inside. I asked him his name as I wanted to report him for his behaviour, and he wouldn't tell me, I had to go to the bar lady who did tell me his name. The place itself is lovely, and as I said it was a nice night - I just hope management can look into improving communication and ensuring all guests are treated with courtesy in future.

From the moment I walked in, the cozy, vintage atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The cocktails were on another level—creative, delicious, and beautifully crafted. The staff were so friendly and took the time to recommend drinks based on what I like, which made the experience feel personal and special.

Met up with some friends on a Saturday afternoon. The Guinness was excellent 5 out 5, service was friendly and prompt. Food was very good. There was a fabulous atmosphere on the eve before the all Ireland hurling final. The pub has an interesting history which always adds to the experience.

Visited The Stag's Head 2 different days while I was there and the food and drinks were great! The Ham & Cheese Toastie....so good!! Great pub, friendly staff and great place to have a pint of Guinness while enjoying the Victorian interior. Definitely a place to visit and will be back again! It will get very busy so you have to time it right to get a table or bar stool. It filled up quickly after I got there on both occasions.

The best spicy burger I ever ate! Although I don't like bacon it really had a taste. I also recommend Rockshore iris lager. Very polite stuff. You can sit wherever you want. You are very welcome to do so.

Beautiful decor old style pub, cosy and bustling. We did not eat here so could not comment. Bar staff were attentive and served quick. Gets busy quickly and we struggled to find more space. I was a bit uncomfortable as one of the people at the bar (customer) seemed drunk and unpleasant but this can happen anywhere but the bar staff did remove him. Well worth a visit!

Great spot for Guinness Irish Stew — my favorite of the trip! Hidden down a little alley way, this pub is a great spot for some traditional pub fare, a proper pint of Guinness, and the ambiance to boot.

Traditional Irish bar/restaurant with a 1880s Victorian vibe. Load of events, music, etc. throughout the week. We went there for lunch. Food was good and the atmosphere was lively.

Must go irish pub. Excellent atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. Yes the stags head is really! And behind the bar there is also a dik-dik! Google it! Ask them to ring the bell too
