Passing through Buffalo and came across Betty’s on maps. Almost passed up on this place because of the area and parking but decided to go anyways. Amazing breakfast and the potatoes were incredible! The staff were very friendly and provided great service! Will come back next time I pass through Buffalo.

Meh, I was not super impressed with Betty's. No reservations on weekends and they won't seat you until your whole party is there. A lot of people, so I'm sure the hostess was stressed and it definitely reflected in her attitude towards incoming guests. Service was pretty slow, but again, that's probably because it was busy. Portion size and price were decent, but the food was not great -- I tried the turkey hash and I would not recommend. The atmosphere was nice though, and I liked that we could get outdoor seating. First and probably last time visiting here.

Betty's is a Buffalo staple and worth a visit! Their portions and pricing are great. Our waitress was newer and didn't know the menu well so ordering was a little confusing. I got the scrambled tofu hash (she didn't seem to know what that was) and my boyfriend ordered the corn beef hash. He enjoyed his meal and mine was okay. A little too spicy, in the wrong ways, and the cornbread it came with was very dry. I will say, the tofu and potatoes were cooked perfectly! In the past, I've just ordered a regular breakfast with eggs and toast and that's always been enjoyable. Overall, our waitress was very friendly - just learning, and the food was alright.

Great fall mimosas 😋(vanilla cider). My breakfast was ok too! I’ve driven by this place for years and never really paid attention that it was a restaurant. Nice chill vibes. Would recommend this place and even return back ;).

Had breakfast here with the gf. If you have to wait on weekends to get a table, be patient, it is well worth the wait. Bottomless coffee was delicious. We had French toast, sausage, eggs & home fries and gf had break-a-(something), can't remember as it was on their specialty brunch menu. Highly recommend. Will be back!!!

We came here for a Saturday morning breakfast. It's a popular place so our wait was around 20-25 minutes for a table of four. Quicker if you're looking for a table of two. Servers were great. Kept our coffees topped up. The food was good. It looked like they had farmers sausages which were delicious. The only comment I would add is to fill up the orange juice cups closer to the top. Lots of space left for juice. The place has nice bathrooms. Plenty of parking in the area too.

I needed a place to stop for breakfast on my way through Buffalo. Got lucky and found this place on Google. 10/10! Great service, cool atmosphere, and excellent food! The chorizo biscuits and gravy are delicious, and now one of my favorite breakfast dishes ever. Ever! And I'm a breakfast lover. Wish I lived closer! Will make a point to stop again if I'm ever in the area!! Highly recommended!

Went there on a busy Saturday morning and waited about 20 minutes for a table. Once we got set our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Very friendly! Our food came out quickly. Everything was amazingly delicious, fresh and hot. The coffee was fire! Definitely worth the wait!. 10 of 10 recommend!

Hands down the best place to get breakfast in Buffalo! If you’re in town, this is a must-visit. The new location offers an elevated dining experience with everything from delicious pancakes to a wide variety of drinks. I’ve been coming to Sophia’s for over 10 years and recommend it to everyone I know. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Make sure you come hungry—portions are generous and everything is made with care. Don’t be discouraged if there’s a 10–15 minute wait for a table. It’s absolutely worth it!

Excellent place to eat breakfast. You can't go wrong. Service was great. Everyone we had contact with was super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Some of the best home fries I have had. French toast was great. The bread was super thick and tasty. Bacon was crispy but not too done. Eggs were soft and fluffy. Overall nothing I can complain about.

This might have been the best meal I had on our vacation. The waiter was great. We told him we were tourists and he pointed out things we might like on the menu. I had the giambotta (Italian sausage, potatoes, eggs, sweet & hot peppers, onions, garlic). Fantastic. My wife had poached eggs (she was ecstatic), bacon, and home fries. After a few minutes a different waiter brought her a plate with more home fries. When our waiter came back, we said we were confused. Why were we brought more home fries. He said her plate was a little crowded and she didn't get the serving she should have, so they brought more! As we were leaving we talked to another couple about their breakfast. She had souvlaki chicken with her meal and it looked delicious. We highly recommend eating here.

Sophia’s restaurant is hands down the best brunch spot I’ve tried during my trip to the U.S.! The service was absolutely flawless – friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail made me feel like a valued guest. The food was excellent and offered great value for money. Portions were generous, flavors were spot on, and everything was served fresh and beautifully prepared. It’s rare to find a place that combines quality and affordability so well. This place is a gem in the city! So glad my cousin put me on! Had to be in the Buffalo area 2 wknds in a row and each time we found ourselves here! Can’t brag on this spot enough. The service immaculate! Food immaculate! Sunrise mimosas immaculate!

Stayed overnight in Buffalo after a concert and decided to stop for breakfast before heading home. So glad we decided to stop at Sophia's. Both the food and drinks were excellent. Our server Peggy C. was phenomenal!! Made us feel right at home. We would definitely stop back on our next trip. Benedict Florentine and homemade toast were delicious

Seating was quick on a Friday evening 8pm. Waitress Ruth was kind and welcoming. Quickly to refill drinks. Three chefs at the open kitchen were in sync with each other. Great to watch them create the dishes and team work with smiles. Dinner was exquisite. We shared the rolls, blended butter was a perfect start. Baby gem salad well tossed with just the right amount of dressing throughout. Rigatoni was superb. Has a little spice kick which we loved.

I had a wonderful time at my birthday brunch!! The food was delicious and the service attentive without interrupting. I'm not sure when I'll be back in town, but I want to come back already!! My favorite was the stuffed French toast. This is an actual, untouched photo that I took. It was even more delicious than it looked!

Pretty good for room service but a bit pricey compared to the overall food quality. The buffalo cauliflower was excellent and the pasta was very good even though it was a bit salty. The fingerling potatoes were flavorless as were the Brussel sprouts. The pierogis were just plain bland and overcooked. Our rolls were hard like when you put bread in the microwave

Relaxing Lunch Experience I had a lovely lunch at Patina 250. The restaurant had a calm and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a relaxing midday break. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was excellent. It's a great spot for a leisurely lunch with friends or colleagues. Patina 250's Grilled Chicken Bowl is a must-try! The flavors were incredibly vibrant and fresh. I loved the variety of textures, from the crisp romaine to the creamy hummus and feta. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy, and the lemon vinaigrette tied everything together beautifully. It's a healthy and satisfying lunch option. The presentation was also lovely. A great experience overall!

The Sunday brunch here was totally awesome! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our food came out fast, and it was delicious. The Croque Madame was a game-changer—the bread was crispy, and the sauce was amazing. The Eggs Benedict was also top-notch. If you're looking for a great brunch spot, this is the place.

Great breakfast spot in downtown buffalo, waitstaff made sure to ask the kitchen about gluten/dairy free options. The one negative we had was the coffee wasn't the best, a bit to bitter for our taste.

What a surprise this little dinner turned out to be. We figured it would be a nice experience to eat in an old school dining locomotive, but we didn't expect the food to be excellent! The hash was outstanding, the omelette was packed and not overcooked, made to order fresh cider donuts with chunks of apples, and even freshly made jelly for it today! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Yep.

Wow what an amazing experience we had! Just looking from the outside this diner looks vintage…. Then you go inside and you’re blown away. Super busy but the staff were so kind and efficient. Service was amazing and the servers were very attentive. Food was out of this world! Milkshakes, Stuffed Burrito, Eggs Bene, Pancakes … you name it and it is most likely 10/10. Really enjoyed this place and the prices are very fair. Can’t wait to be back to enjoy everything else on the menu!!

Stopped by the Swan Street Diner on a whim while in town. Pleasantly surprised! The building is immaculate, super cute with a great story! Menu is great; lots of choices. Food was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming. The only downside for us was how loud the space was. Between customers eating and talking, the noise of the kitchen and the background music it was a lot. But, we could see from where we sat the take out window. Genius idea! The owner and staff have thought of everything! Will be back!

Super cute cozy diner! My wait time was extremely long as I did walk in around brunch time! It does appear to be a popular amongst locals so I would recommend a reservation if at all possible. Food was delicious. Coffee was good. They were pretty slammed on the day that I came and visited them, but overall it was a good experience. I did have a hiccup with an order item, but I think it was definitely our error in the mixup! Patrick was awesome.

Went for a brunch meeting and I got the smothered burrito which may not look very appetizing in pictures, but was absolutely delicious! also got a glass of orange juice on the side, which was fresh squeezed and very refreshing. To go, I got some other popular mini donuts and then assorted bundle, which were a tasty treat later on to have. It can definitely be a little busy and somewhat tight inside of here, but the food is worth it and the service is excellent.

Eating in an old school diner is the best! We waited about 45 mins on a Saturday morning to get seated. They do text when the table is ready so you can wait outside. The corned beef hash is made there which is amazing and the coffee is so good! I am never disappointed eating here!

Ate here on a moderately busy afternoon with family. Half ordered lunch, half ordered breakfast. Service was great. Food was enjoyed. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion. My burger was overcooked (requested medium-rare) but it was still enjoyable. I want to go back and give the burger another shot.

Went here for breakfast. I had the avocado toast, which comes with cherry tomatoes halved and an egg on top. You get 2 slices with this. I also got a hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Everything was delicious and fresh. Seems to be a popular place. Suzzi, my waitress was very friendly and checked on me often. You can eat dinner and lunch here as well. It seemed like there was a bar in a separate room. Looks like you could have a private party in a separate room as well. They have a covered patio that they much have seating in warmer weather. They handicap parking and a ramp up to the door as well.

Made 6 pm reservation for a dinner party of 5 Most of which was from out of town. Walked in and everyone was really confused that would continue the entire dinner. Ordered two appetizers. Deep fried Pierogi and pretzel basket , Took over 30 minutes to receive. The Pierogis were Ms T mini boiled then deep fried. They were dry, tough and the inside potato was wet from the boil. The food came out after a hour + of waiting. It was bar food. I just sat here for 90 minutes for average service and even worse food. Included is pictures of the 50 Cent ketchup they provide you ,leather shoe pierogies and burnt breadsticks

Really cute place with a nice menu and a variety of Bennys. We’re hashbrowns rather than home fries fans, but the home fries here are small, crispy, and good. We shared and enjoyed the standard Bloody Mary. Was peppery enough to please me but not too painful for my partner, and I bet the non-alcoholic version would be good, too.

I went to the howling rooster this morning for breakfast. The breakfast bowl that I got was absolutely delicious but the service was lacking. Though they sat us quickly it took awhile for the server to deliver our coffee. We asked for water which we never received and she never came around to refill our coffee. When she finally did check on us, still not asking if we wanted anything else, we were ready to leave. Though she was pleasant, she was not attentive. We elected to sit on the patio which was pleasant but the music was kind of loud and it was difficult to hear each other speaking. But the restaurant itself was nice and I would try eating there again as this was my first time and I'm hoping that in a future visit they might provide better service.

We had an absolutely wonderful brunch at The Howling Rooster! It was the perfect midway point for a long overdue meet up for us Canadians with loved family members Stateside ❤️ We each thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals and the portions were excellent. Our waitress, Leah, was an absolute joy - down to earth , friendly and fun and she truly made our lovely breakfast experience that much better. We are already planning our next visit, we can hardly wait!

You just can't argue with this place. Explicitly put together to let you relax while being taken care of in a way that's hard to find. Phenomenal food, phenomenal drinks; you could grab an easy beer concurrent with your tartare. A wide range of quality bourbons, ryes, tequilas and more. I grabbed a cocktail with a description I already can't recall- curiosity got me, and it was a knockout. Paired very well with the octopus. Next trip shall be a longer stint to try the entire menu. I took one uneventful photo as I left because I had such a pleasant time actively enjoying the experience. Absolutely fantastic.

Cool, quaint spot to eat in Allentown! Walked in for Sunday brunch right as they opened without a wait and were seated right away. Ordered the French toast with the side of bacon, which was so yummy. My husband had the chorizo stew which was surprisingly summery and zesty. Will definitely come back!

We had a little bit of everything and it was all great! The crispy potato is a MUST (if it's available)! We also had beets, pesto pasta, oysters, and the cheese platter. The Bread hive sourdough was perfect, as usual.

The menu changes but I am a fan of this place. They have a pasta dish that has saffron which is phenomenal. The duck is also really tasty. Recommended for date nights

I am a huge fan of this restaurant. From the quality of the ingredients to the flow of service is just on point. We got lucky on a Wednesday and had the pleasure of Eric being our server. We celebrated our 10 year together anniversary here and the staff were phenomenal. If you enjoy duck, you must get here while it's on the menu. Very limited selection, but our apps and entrees were out of this world. The cocktail options were also top notch. Make sure to reserve as seating is limited, but definitely a Buffalo experience worth having!

Really great dining experience, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. They accommodated for my gluten free family members really easily and the desert is good too!

Inconsistent Quality – A Real Mixed Bag While I had high hopes, my visit was an unpredictable game of chance. The dishes were either fantastic or frankly disappointing. The best dish was easily the grilled asparagus wrapped in salmon, which was delicious thanks to its perfect dressing. The pan-seared halibut was also excellent. On the flip side, the margherita focaccia was a letdown (more like flatbread), and the sesame tuna main course was flat and severely lacking in flavor.

We dined here for my fiancé's birthday dinner- overall impression was good, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was quality and you could tell it was made fresh. Each order was also a generous portion which you don't always see at higher end restaurants. If there had to be one "complaint" for the evening, it did take longer than expected for each course to arrive, however the server checked in with us frequently and our drinks were never empty. Our dinner took just over 2 and a half hours which we didn't mind, but an observation nonetheless. I would come back for sure, there was several other menu items I would have liked to try.

Went to dinner there… food and server were great! However FYI to check gift cards before you leave… we purchased two $100 gift cards while we were there for my mother in law to give as a gift (we did not check them before we left as they were placed in an envelope and put into the bag with our leftovers). The day of the event my mother in law opened them and one of the gift cards had white out and was obviously reused… which makes it look like the gift card was regifted since it was two different gift cards!!!! We called left bank and basically they said they ran out of gift cards come and get a new one (the day of the event and obviously not able to be fixed). Simply offering to do one $200 gift card or explaining you were out of gift cards would have sufficed instead of whiting something out and not telling us!

Went out for a birthday dinner for wife. Six people at table. Food and service was good, but 2 minutes after receiving check and settling up the hostess came over and asked us to get up because they needed the table. I understand the place was busy, but ink on the receipt wasn’t even dry yet and they are asking us to get up. After a $770 bill including Tip, it was very rude to basically kick us out. Won’t need to worry about that happening again.

Great food, surprisingly large portions. I had the red beans and rice with spicy sausage and the spice level was nicely balanced and completely appropriate to the dish. Others had various kinds of fish, really interesting preparations, all properly done.

Best wings we tried in Buffalo. The Buffalo sauce and amount of crisp on the wings were perfect. I loved the French onion soup (wish I got a bigger size!) Highly recommend going here

So wifey and I are on a typical road tripping vacation. The hotel staff found out I wanted wings of course. They recommended Gabriel's gate as a local favorite as opposed to the hyped up one. The wings were good. We got mild spice. Their blue cheese burger was a bit dry considering I ordered it cook medium. Wifey had a cheese steak sandwich and it was very good. Especially the next day with a light nuke in the microwave. The server was fabulously helpful and friendly. Place was super busy and everyone really seemed to be enjoying the vibe of the place. It's a shame that we live a few thousand miles away because we would definitely be back.

They initially told us an hour wait but we've been dying to try it so we said we'd wait. Went across the street to this amazing little bar and they ended up calling us after 35 minutes! We had beautiful weather and got lucky that they sat us in the patio. The atmosphere was super chill and beautiful. The wings were delicious and crispy and the mozzarella sticks were good. Definitely our top 5 wing spot in Buffalo!

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. They are very well decorated especially for Halloween. I had a crock of onion soup. It was nice and hot. They used croutons instead of the slice of bread. I had a chicken sandwich with micro greens and cheese and avacado. The cheese could have been a little more melted on the sandwich but this is totally nitpicking. Everything tasted great and the service was quick and friendly. Very locals only vibe. The bartender knew her clients kids and asked them about how they are. This is what it’s about. I’d come back.

The wings were incredible. Hot wings did not leave a strict Sriracha, franks hot sauce, or Tabasco sauce taste it was just pure spice, Crispy skin, tender middle, very little grease. Cajun had the same texture but was a rub. A subtle spice that built up to a "Dragons Breath" after 3 Im definitely coming back

Wings and chili cheese fries were great. Service was a little slow to start but once we got served they did a good job. Atmosphere was pretty cool. If ever in Buffalo again, I would probably go back.

My kids loved the food here, the beef weck sandwich with jus dip was delicious and the buffalo wings lived up to their reputation as among the best in the city!

Kostas has a nice atmosphere, it’s clean and welcoming. I recommend their breakfast/brunch menu. I’ve tried their salad with grilled chicken and their chicken souvlaki but unfortunately the meat was really tough and dry each time… I’ll be back for their breakfast though!

I ordered take out from two places, and created my own Greek/Cantonese cuisine. The Singapore Mei Fun comes from a small, dingy looking place called Panda on Niagara St.. Don't let the outside fool you. They have the freshest tasting, "chinese" fast food in the city. They actually listen when you request a specific spice level. Mine is always extra hot...and it is. Filled with flavor, shrimp, pork, and chicken. The salmon, salad, veggies, and pita came from Kostas. Simply fantastic. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside, and moist/flaky on the inside. With size, cook, and price, it exceeds expectations on days you don't want to cook. Since I was mixing with rice noodles, I was able to omit the starch and get double squash/zucchini blend. It also came with soup or salad. We picked the salad. They did not skimp on fresh greens, onions tomato, peppers. Feta and bursting with herb dressing, and a highly grilled potato. I usually hate eating off of paper plates, but this was so good that it didn't matter.

I cannot sing the praises of this place too much! My wife ordered the Serf & Turf Salad, grilled gulf shrimp, 8oz NY strip steak seared to a "Blue" perfection, fresh mixed greens, portobello mushroom, feta, roasted red pepper $27. I had the Caesar Salad with Chicken. I was astounded a breast and a half of grilled Chicken on top a mound of romaine lettuce, slathered in Caesar dressing & copious amounts of Parmesan cheese. The server went out of her way to check if the dressing on my wife's salad contained an ingredient. She also checked back actually pausing, rather than just as she walked by to see if we needed anything. I took a picture of my $15 salad. Thank you to the owners who must care more about their staff and the customers. Wanting you to return for all the right reasons! Zoom in on the picture, the chicken was fantastic!

Without a doubt the BEST Greek food in Buffalo! True Greek food, authentic Spanikopita, grape leaves and any Greek specialty you could want. I have been eating here forever and it's always delicious!

A phenomenal venue with an extensive menu and great service! The portions were enormous, sumptuous and delicious!

The service from the waiter was outstanding—everyone was very friendly and attentive. The appetizers were great, served hot and fresh. The main courses looked really good with nice presentation, but unfortunately, when they arrived, they were lukewarm. The potatoes seemed like they had been fried a while ago and were possibly kept on a warmer until the plates were served. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but the food didn't meet my expectations. We ordered four dishes, and none of them were served at the right temperature or flavor, which was a bit disappointing.

I was introduced to Cafe 59 a few years ago by a family member and I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants in Buffalo. I have never been disappointed with the service, food, or drinks. I usually try something different every time I go there and there is plenty on their menu to choose from. The restaurant is very welcoming of everyone and they offer food to fit many eating lifestyles. If you are ever on Allen Street be sure to check this place out.

This place was awesome, and the server was lovely. The fingers were the perfect level of crispy covered in sauce, and the asian salad had a delicious dressing on it. I also had a good beer-- don't remember which one, but it was dark and good.

Used to be my favorite burger in the city but last few orders from here have been too charred to finish. Maybe the other food is still good but I would avoid burgers.

We had a reservation for five at The Dapper Goose for a birthday dinner… it was a completely uncomfortable and disappointing experience. The food was good, but nothing could make up for how shockingly rude and unwelcoming the staff were. From the moment we sat down, the energy was cold. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, and we were a polite, low-maintenance group… but the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Our waiter and the person who bused our table were extremely rude and cold towards are whole table, during a time where they weren’t incredibly busy, for a table that was pretty low maintenance. Every interaction was left extremely awkward and uncalled for. I have never experienced a restaurant like this. It was completely random and totally uncalled for. This is a restaurant where dishes cost $25+, with a reputation for elevated dining, but none of that matters when the people serving you can’t be bothered to show basic human decency. It wasn’t just bad service, it was appalling. It felt like they actively didn’t want us there. We left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Good food doesn’t mean anything when the people serving it make you feel unwelcome from start to finish.

The Dapper Goose is certainly a good restaurant, but I wouldn’t say much more than that. Our small plate orders consisted of Octopus and Terrine, both of which were just ok to me. As another reviewer mentioned, none of the flavors really stood out. The Braised Pork was a pretty good entree, and I really enjoyed it. The real disappointment was a completely disinterested waitress who made it feel like we were almost an inconvenience.

The Chef has Magic in his hands!!!!!!!!! We went on a Tuesday but with only 2 more tables occupied, we could cherish the peace and quiet of the beautiful restaurant vibe at ease. The restaurant staff is very warm/ friendly/ organic and very pleasant to interact with. We ordered 3 cocktails in a reverse order of the drinks in the menu starting with The Cute for what ails you, Our circus days are over & Broken garden tools. They were all MIND BLOWING. Beautifully balanced and mixed, really delightful. We ordered the Ricotta toast & the Roasted turnips for small plates-both extremely flavorful and light. Then for our large plate we ordered the Burger & The Scallops. I lost my mind when I tasted the scallops & the risotto . It blew my mind, it was so delicious. I’ve never eaten such a great scallop dish ever!!! The burger was wonderful too but felt a bit heavy. For dessert we ordered the Bread pudding. That blew my mind a third time in a row. I’m so happy I had dinner at such a great restaurant. Best wishes to them and thank you for an Unforgettable evening.

So this is our 4th time there. We took a 18 month hiatus to give this place another shot. And again, it was just odd. The server was so disassociated from their job, and we had this same server the previous time. It was like they were high and we were an inconvenience to their evening. Fine, we don’t need to be friends, just need to feel welcomed, which was definitely missing. The music was like we were at a club, which was strange. Deborah Cox remixes, and other dance hits kind of felt strange for a “fine dining” experience. Totally fine to play some fun music, but seriously was way out of place. Now the food. Omg. Talk about trying too hard. Everything had a fruit or nut component. Ok- not a problem, but it needed variety. The burrata and stone fruit salad was covered in sesame seeds. Yeah- I get textural elements but it was just weird. I had the pork schnitzel with shishitos- again just a weird presentation. An unpounded pork chop (Milanese should be thin), breaded and fried, on top of an aioli, with this handful of shishito peppers (with the stems) on top of it. Just didn’t make sense, had to ask for a side plate to get to the pork. Just put them on the side. And on top of it was this lemon caked in Cajun spices (yes as advertised) but just strange and a ton of Cajun spice on a lemon, like a chunk of it). So weird. Not that any of it was terrible, but it just was odd and out of place. Like someone was trying to hard to think of trendy food and mashed it all together into some dishes. We tried to love it. We gave it multiple chances, even after a disastrous New Year’s Eve dinner a few years ago, but we don’t need to try again. I can’t understand why people think this place is so great. Everything was misaligned and just left us feeling like we couldn’t wait for the meal to end. We tried. Dapper Goose failed. (Pick of weird pork dish and Cajun caked lemon below). Sorry guys. Do better.

The staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The fennel dish was excellent. My burger was of good quality, but overcooked, and the fries were greasy and soft. The food is somewhat expensive, but the portion size is good. All the cocktails we tried were interesting and delicious.

This is my favorite restaurant, no one does delicious food that you can feel good about like they do. We did a set menu birthday party here and the service and food was amazing. If you can only go one place when your here in buffalo come here

The small plates and cocktails were fantastic. But the entrees were just okay, with pork cutlets that were so tough they were hard to cut. The interior seating was way too loud, but fortunately we were able to sit out on the patio, which was lovely. The servers were attentive and prompt.

Oh dear, our LAST visit to JT's on May 10th left us feeling a tad underwhelmed. While "most" of staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, the overall experience didn't quite hit the mark for us. The times we used to enjoy at least 3 times a month in there were great.However, we found the meals decay every single time. Last one was beyond disappointing (see pic attached), at the point of the food presentation made us lose the appetite and leave. Not to forget the constantly unhappy bartender on most of the occasions. At this point, why bother? We truly appreciate the effort everyone put in for us over the past few years, but unfortunately, we left feeling that is no longer the right fit for our taste. We called the next day to the managers to give our feedback. Nothing. Follow up call just to bring notes so they can take action. Nada. Best of luck! C&J

Amazing food - came for dinner with my wife, left full and pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste! She had the Chicken Parm entree - big cutlet, great sauce flavor and crunch. I had Pasta with Clams in white wine & garlic - good flavors, little spicy flavors, about 8-10 shells. Desert we tried the trio sorbet and mini cannolis. Both great choices! Overall, would highly recommend

We were so excited to try this restaurant after traveling last summer to Rome and are leaving for a month this summer to multiple locations in Italy. I had the # SECONDI:: Homemade Ricotta Gnocchi FLAT 12 OYSTER & CHESTNUT MUSHROOMS, PARMESAN MUSHROOM BRODO, SHAVED BLACK TRUFFLE, PARMIGIANO REGGIANO $42.00 A a lover of every ingredient listed I was very excited. The Gnocchi were the only edible part of the meal, truffles were either improperly stored or dehydrated, ZERO taste and wood like texture. The dish was so salty it was hard to swallow. When I reported this to our waitress she replied “I see the truffles, they look fresh”. She wasn’t able to absorb my discontent. She never returned to the table again except to push a dessert on us. Very disappointed, I know expecting fresh ingredients might be a high expectation but for the price, bland service and an overpriced dish the chef should be embarrassed. vergognatevi!

Enjoyed a family get together lunch on a busy family weekend all in from all over. Great cocktails and food. We all enjoyed.

We had last minute changes to our Easter brunch plans and fts was excellent in accommodating us. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and all the food was absolutely fantastic. If eggs Benedict is on the menu I will be ordering eggs Benedict and it absolutely did not disappoint. Great flavors but I do wish the meal came with a light aioli to dip the potatoes in. Potatoes were coated in Parmesan cheese and also had an excellent flavor profile. Will absolutely be stopping in again in the future.

Second time here. Overall, the food is above average. I had the bolognese and it was very good aside from it being a bit too salty. Sat near the front and they had the front doors up. Great people watching. Nice atmosphere. I'll be back.

This place was just okay. We were not aware that it was cash only but I do carry emergency cash for situations like this. The food was okay, service was okay, atmosphere was okay. I was pretty hungry and the eggs benedict I ordered were just fine. The eggs were cooked right but I felt something was lacking in the dish. Our server was very friendly but the wait time on our food was much longer than expected. A table that came in after us received food much earlier than us so that was not fun to see while you're starving. The place is very tiny. It has a typical diner atmosphere I guess. Overall, I'm not sure I would return especially with the long wait time. Maybe if I'm in the area craving diner food, I would.

Our breakfasts at this small and cosy diner were very good, and the home fries were wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside! And very attentive service keeping our coffees topped up.

Their diner was very homey, went there with a friend and we absolutely loved the vibes and how friendly they were. I ordered 2 eggs with toast, bacon and fries while my friend ordered the rooster. We also got the short stack buttermilk pancakes to share which were fluffy and really tasty. Highly recommend!

We randomly found this spot on google and I am thrilled we did. I got the garbage plate pictured, also got a few stacks of pancakes and big plate. All was fantastic but will be back for the garbage plate- 10/10!! Prices great, portions great, good service can’t beat it. Will say it was about 90 degrees outside and it was a bit hot inside but the food here is 110% worth it!!

Best breakfast burrito ever. The rooster is definitely something to crow about as well! And those home fries...oh my! Small restaurant that is big on personality and great food. Wish I lived in Buffalo!

I decided to try a new breakfast place because I was craving an omelette. I’m happy I chose Bertha’s diner! They’re a small location, but I went on a Friday morning so there were lots of open spaces. The service was fast- the waitress took my order immediately. The food was great and hit the spot, especially the home fries! They do not take debit/credit cards! Only Cash, Venmo, and one other option that I forgot.

a tiny little breakfast place with kind quaint service and perfectly made dishes - made with love. For some reason I still expect the Muppets to burst out of the back room in song, it just has that magical vibe to it. (Yes, weirdly true for me.) It only seats about 38-40 people and includes a counter, booths and tables, it's a tight fit, but worth it for a casual breakfast brunch or lunch.

One of the worst service we saw. We ordered one Broccoli Cheddar soup, creamy tomato soup in a bread bowl. The bread we got on side was cold and hard like a rock. I asked to toast it at the kitchen, but their reply was we don’t do that here and you can do it on your own in the Owen. I didn’t even bother asking my bread bowl at this point. I expected a bit more from Panera regarding their customer service. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. And we were still eating around 8:50PM and one of the employee came in and said we have to leave in 5 minutes, but came back in 2 minutes asking to leave, We were half a way eating. This is very not ok. We had to carry half food in our hand and leave the place. He mentioned it is a corporate policy. Is this how corporate of Panera asking their employees to treat customers?? Very badly treated and extremely disappointed

I do not know what’s wrong with this place but we came in on Tuesday 9/16 at 7:30pm and it was off from the start. Trying to order they were out of every green- no lettuce, mixed greens, arugula, or cilantro. They were also out of the corn chowder soup and steak, among likely other things. It took 25 minutes to get our order and when we received it they had left the avocado out of my sandwich! Ugh I wouldn’t go back to this Panera

First off, they were out of like all of their greens, no cilantro, no spinach no lettuce. Whatever. Ordered my sandwich with extra avocado and paid for extra avocado, guess what? No avocado whatsoever so my sandwich is corn cheese and tomato. The bathrooms were dirty it took forever for the food to come out. I’ve heard bad things about this location. Will not be coming back to this specific location.

First time going to Panera. I know right it's crazy. Panerai been around for quite a bit I'd say, but I never gotten around to it till now! My friend got a bread bowl with broccoli and cheddar soup! It's her fave thing to get. Also she had the Mac and cheese. My first order was the barbecue chicken sandwich (half) with Mac and cheese and some chips. I was dismayed at it due to the lack of meat. Apparently, with hot sandwiches at panera, they require workers to only put 1 scoop of ingredients on the sandwiches for halves so consequently it looks like toast featuring the meat. However, the manager was very nice and understanding and made me a different sandwich instead because of my dissatisfaction of the sandwich. Very great customer service and kind workers. I really appreciate it! The turkey and cheddar sandwich was good! The Mac and cheese was rich and homey! I highly recommend it if you're gonna get anything from.panera it's gotta be the Mac and cheese! My friend and.i both enjoyed the lavender lemonade ! Very Very good I also recommend that for drinks! Lastly, I had the brownie which was good! Sorry I didn't take a photo of it! Overall, great experience! Thank you! 💜

I haven't even tasted my food. I waited close to 30 min for a half sandwich chips and smoothie while close to 20 folx were served in front of me an my name just kept going down on their Lil screen. If it was cuz I'm black an they don't want me to come back ✅️ mission accomplished

I ordered a salad on my lunch break, unfortunately the drive thru wasn’t moving fast enough so i had to leave without it. i came back after work and explained what happened, and Tony refunded me, remade my order and gave me a free cookie. he provided excellent service!

My girlfriend and I love stopping at this Panera. It has always seemed to be cleaner than any of the other locations I’ve been to in the area. Easy parking in this plaza. The food is consistently tasty at this location (especially the mac and cheese), and the employees are always kind! Needless to say we will be back soon when we are in the area !

“Best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had” said my girlfriend. Great food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. To Owner: A nice large artistic sign above the garbage would be helpful as well as a matte menu as the neon lights cause it to be hard to read at certain angles. Thanks for the hospitality!

Yesterday I spent my lunch break walking over to Public and found this note on the door saying they decided to close early due to the heat wave. It didn’t really make sense to me since they work inside, but you do you I guess. We just assumed it was open because it still allowed the option to place an order online, so a notice on their website would have been nice. Today I decided to just go ahead and DoorDash in case they decided to close early again. They sent the wrong donut and put regular milk in my latte instead of oatmilk. I called, because I thought it was just a genuine mistake but when they answered the phone they said “oh, on the weekends we don’t pay attention to type of donut because it gets busy here.” She asked if I wanted it refunded, but overall this place is just really disappointing.

Had a great but brief experience here. Both the people behind the counter I spoke to were lovely and very helpful. A woman with colorful hair and a man with long black hair. I was with my riled up toddler so I didn't get their names. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the food on the menu. Cold brew, matcha latte, and redeye sandwich were 10/10. I've been looking for a good breakfast sandwich in Buffalo for a bit and this one really hit the spot. Cookie looks amazing as well but I bought it for my boyfriend and am doing my best not to eat it.

This place has such a good potential for providing delicious food and coffee. The vibes were really nice and we loved how spacious it was. The food and coffee was subpar though. Got: 1. Avocado toast with barely any avocado on it, lacked flavor and there were black spots on it 2. Rosemary bagel with garden veggie cream cheese-the bagel itself was delicious but there was barely any cream cheese on it 3. Iced latte- barely any espresso and lots of milk Overall very disappointed with our breakfast :( The staff however were very sweet!

Tried the Corrado and the bagel+lox I thought the bagel was a bit more expensive than most shops I visited, but once I saw it I understood why. Great lox and the pickled onion makes the dish not so fishy or overpowering. Standard coffee. Overall clean and spacious, nice patio outside. Staff is friendly and seems to be happy working.

The avocado toast was all brown and not tasting well. I would look up other great cafes avocado toasts with the pretty presentations and flavors. Even just slicing a fresh one per order. The staff was also not busy so seeing the bathroom and also floor looking really dirty and not cleaned daily was disheartening. Always loved you guys but it’s really gone down.

Cute Cafe on Seneca St in Buffalo. We were in town for a wedding and the morning after decided to grab breakfast on our way home. Decided to try this place. The food is good....delicious bagels and donuts! So much so my husband, and two other friends went to stand back in line to buy donuts and bagels to bring home. Bagels are made fresh daily. Took two stars off as the seats were VERY dirty. It seems like they have never been cleaned. The tables were fine...it was the seating that was very dirty. Also, service is meh. I ordered a medium pumpkin spice latte and my husband ordered a coffee with cream. We waited over 20 minutes for it. 4 of my friends who ordered the exact same thing behind us got their drinks first...and well ahead of us. We only got ours as we asked the server who was bringing out our breakfast why we hadn't received our drinks yet. He went back to the barista who snapped at him and then she made ours. Not a good experience. Parking was ok because we found a spot, but can see how it would be difficult during the week or during peak times.

We took our boat to the Dock @ Templeton Landing. Previously you could grab a table and sit by / at the bar. instead we needed to go inside to see the host. The menu has changed since our last trip there. The location is great, the view is terrific, but sadly it's lost some of it's luster. There were plenty of servers when we went, but too often they were congregating inside of the outdoor wait staff area (on phone or chatting), so service was slower then would be ideal. We ordered (10) wings hot and crispy and instead received (5) medium (debatable) and (5) BBQ. They were good but not crispy nor what we actually ordered. We also got a side of plain fries and they cost $10 which seemed excessive for what was received. I'm not one to send food back as I worked in the industry. Drinks were mostly reasonable, but plastic cups (as outside). Not classy for craft cocktails. High Noon's were only $5 which wasn't bad. Overall it was a good experience, but not great. Hoping they can get this back to what it was in it's prime. We will likely give it a shot another time and see if it's any better (later in the year).

I was so disappointed by my experience. My boyfriend and I came here a few years ago and celebrated our anniversary. Since then, we always talk about the steak dinner we got and how it was one of the best we've ever had. This year on our anniversary we came back, and it was a let down to say the least. We were seated, and I was practically sticking to the table because it was so grimy. I got a coke, it was flat. Not to mention, it came in a plastic cup. I told the waitress and she said that someone told her the same thing earlier but it must have not been changed. We ordered nachos, they came cold we were given paper plates to eat them from. They took the steak off the menu, so I got the chicken ceaser salad and I probably could have gotten the same thing at Mercy hospital. My boyfriend's fish fry was burnt. Really disappointed we wasted our milestone anniversary at this dump. This place has gone downhill and it's definitely not what I remember. Not even close to being the same restaurant.

Great outdoor seating! Good cocktails, great shrimp and good food. I will say 2 events were going on when we went and may have caused a fair bit of slow down which is fine but I would think it would've been accounted for. Took a good while to get drinks and food. Again they were busy and I'm sure understaffed but it still happened. A live band came near the end but definitely too loud and glad to we left in time.

What is going on with this place? Buffalo's premier waterfront location is going to waste. Patio bar not open, no band schedule on their website. Templeton has been in decay for years now, probably close to 8 years or more. The city of Buffalo should pull their lease. Appears to have no functional management. It takes a certain type of management to operate a Waterfront Restaurant, and it's obvious they do not. It appears they only care about the weddings and few events they host and nothing else. It's sad.

This venue should've done way better for the bride & groom that chose this venue for their reception. Guests had to go get their own chairs out of a closet for cocktail hour on the roof. Only a couple tables were set up. No cover on a hot sunny day up on the roof there. Some salads came with no dressing. Well over an hour later before dinner was served to guests. Wrong meals on the place cards, that weren't even set on the tables. Not enough vegetarian meals. Some had to wait for extra vegetarian meals to be cooked. Family was scrambling last minute to do things the venue failed to do. No hot water for tea. Had to get hot water from the bathroom. Let the coffee & cups run out. The waitstaff did their best & and were curtious. This venue should reimburse the beautiful bride & groom. This is in no way faulting the bride & groom. They deserved way better than what they received from this venue. They had two events going on that same time & clearly were not able to handle it.

i love the burgers here, so tender, so flavorful, with a nice char grilling on it. Lovely patio right on the lake with gas fireplaces, perfect for watching sunsets. The interior also has a nice atmosphere, not too bright, with mirrored booths on the outer wall , and decent spacing between tables for privacy. Fantastic fish fry, fish is never slimy, batter is nice and crunchy. Tartar sauce is fantastic. The fries are frozen, but they do have a nice garlic aioli that makes it tolerable. Cocktails are great. Ribs were tough and fatty, flavor was decent but definitely not tender at all and not a high quality cut of meat. The Buffalo gold cheese curd appetizer was rather bland, the cheese was very chewy. Would not order that again. The hot bites pierogi appetizer is deep fried and the texture was pretty tough, flavor was mediocre. Would not order that again either.

There is a difference between making a reservation and sitting on the self seat deck ..it is like one side of the tracks versus the other ..the deck was dirty palstic tables the other was metal clean tables ..with umbrellas ..the deck side is a kind of like bring the kids have a beer and a burger ..with a limited menu ...make the reservation!! .it would be that much better ..I did not ..all things considered the waitress was prompt polite and fun ...food and drinks came fast .. Tasted good

Burger was good, a little bit too salty and too much pepper. Thats what mostly could sense from the burger taste. Fries were nice and so were tater tots. Waitress was super cool!

Allen burger venture was a random Google that did not disappoint. Small(hole in the wall spot) popular place that I was able to have an amazing burger and fabulous tater tots, wings. The parking was interesting but I managed.. They have a bar, bar tables an outdoor patio and a few tables inside if you have a family. It’s one of those places you need on your bucket list. The food was faaaaaantastic, the waitress was very attentive & did I mention the burger was fantastic? Trying new places for burgers can be tough, but this was a good decision & you’re welcome in advance :o)

People in my foodie group were raving about the burgers here, ....I don't get it. My friend and I both agreed you could go buy some ground beef, season it with some salt and cook it at home and save yourself $20. There was nothing special about the burger at all. It was quite greasy, the only flavor I detected was a little bit of salt, it was just so bland. ...and the french fries and onion rings were bland, there was nothing flavorful about anything we got here. Nothing to write home about and would not come back. If you want an amazing burger that will actually impress you, go to the Gin Mill in ellicottville. THAT is a delicious Burger. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and friendly, the atmosphere of the place was nice but the food was just mediocre.

I can only describe the menu (specifically burgers) as whimsical, if you lean into the ridiculous ingredients you’ll enjoy this place. I got the number 6 and was pleasantly surprised, the bun was soft and delicious, the meat was flavorful it could’ve used maybe onions or lettuce but it was still great! They’re sorta skimpy on the sides for the price point but otherwise a fun place to eat at for special occasions! Their service is very quick and friendly additionally, they offer mock tails for non drinkers.

The best burgers anywhere in the Rochester/Buffalo area hands down. The atmosphere and vibe is cool and the beer selection is great.

The food was good. I will say the steak fries were actually potato wedges and the home fries we got were not the same as the picture on the menu. In saying this we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The banana bread french toast was good and filling . A full stack is more of a shareable portion for the table. The beef tenderloin breakfast was good. It came with peppers and onions which we didn't expect. The tenderloin had a smoky pit taste. Overall we had a good experience and the food came quickly.

Colleen our server was so much fun. Very attentive. The meal was good. There was some confusion, but Colleen helped us out. Gonna try to make it back there before noon for waffles.

Just went here for the first time since a was a child. The menu could be bigger as a half ind person it was very hard to see. The food was good. Staff was nice. We were the only one there, so doesn't seem to get a lot of service. When I mentioned I struggled seeing one of the lovely servers sat with me and helped me read the menu. Want to go back I the future. Also the structure inside is phenomenal and extremely beautiful.

As a longtime customer, I really miss the presence of Bob, the owner. He made the place feel warm, welcoming, and personal. Without him, the restaurant feels a bit different—it’s just not the same atmosphere we used to enjoy when he was around

I was pleasantly surprised that I had one of the best tasting chicken fingers subs I have ever had here! My wife loved her banana bread French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. Our son enjoyed himself also!

Our family has loved Royal Family Restaurant for years, especially when Bob was there. He had a way of making everyone feel at home, and our kids adored him. His daughter is doing a fine job keeping things going, but it’s hard to replace the warmth Bob brought. We truly miss him.

One of the most underrated Greek diner/brunch spots in the Buffalo area. Would always come here at off hours for appetizers, but finally decided to try it for Sunday brunch. Decor and atmosphere is inviting and clean. The Open chicken souvlaki is up there with Kostas as one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was seasoned exceptionally well and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Turkey dinner is solid, and the mixed vegetables were almost shockingly flavorful. Portions are large and price is reasonable. Honestly don’t know why this place isn’t more popular! Overall, would highly recommend! 4.6/5-BJ

We absolutely loved our visit to Five Points Bakery! The outdoor seating area is such a charming spot to relax and enjoy the neighborhood vibe. The coffee was excellent, the matcha was smooth and flavorful, and the breakfast sandwiches were hearty and delicious. But the real standout was the cinnamon toast! It was truly to die for! Everything was fresh, wholesome, and served with a smile. Can’t wait to come back!

The breads are incredibly good. Great variety, amazing aroma and texture. Loved all the sandwich menu they have, you really will be 10 minutes deciding what to get. Coffee is really good too. Only thing I would say is that the wait time is a little bit long. But if you are around buffalo its absolutely worth having a full, healthy and balanced breakfast here.

I live around the corner from this cafe, so I come here a lot, and this place is by far the best cafe/bakery in buffalo imo. The staff are always so friendly, the vibes are always stellar, and the food is delicious! I love how they use coffee in their ice cubes so the iced coffee never tastes watered down! Also, a wonderful atmosphere to hang out for a couple hours and get work done. 5/5 ⭐️☕️💕

We’ve walked and driven by Five Points Bakery multiple times visiting the surrounding businesses, WOW! Have we missed out! While they’re set back and unassuming, be sure to stop in for some delicious coffee and amazing baked goods. There’s so much space inside and out, you’ll rarely be without a table. I highly recommend Five Points Bakery!

It was amazing! The specials were so good. We had the crispy chili toast and the chicken salad. We completely missed the regular menu but what a great mistake. The lavender lemonade and the coffee were good too. I would recommend it! Please note Sundays are VERY busy with line-ups outside the door.

I absolutely love this cafe! It’s super cozy and has such a warm, homey vibe, something you don’t really find often in the US. The food is amazing and honestly reminds me of home. If you’re a matcha fan, you have to try their strawberry matcha, it’s so good! 🍓 And the Eggs & Toast sandwich is just perfect — simple, comforting, and delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by at least once.

Public Espresso has been my go to place since I was a freshman in college. The vibes are comfy and the employees are always so nice and warm. The food and coffee is great, but I have to say the bagels have been slacking lately. Still one of my fav places ever! I’ve dined in, taken out, and ordered delivery probably fifty times.

The atmosphere here seems so cold and sterile. Not very welcoming or comfy/cozy. Not a place that I would feel comfortable spending time in. Its also a shame that the decor/style does not fit to the building it is located in. There were no sleeves for the hot coffee to go cups. I had to use a napkin. The one worker was eating behind the counter which didn't really seem too professional in my opinion. They do have lots of vegan/vegetarian options.

Although the staff is friendly, this is the second time I’ve received an incorrect order from this restaurant. I placed my order online after 1:00 PM today, and it felt like my food was rushed. My bacon was undercooked, and my online order clearly stated "no tomatoes." When I picked up my order, I asked the gentleman if there were any tomatoes on my sandwich, and he assured me there were none. I left the restaurant just before closing, and it was too late to contact them about the error. I want to request a refund. Thank you.

(March 2024) enjoyed a strawberry crueller and loved the red eye gravy breakfast sandwich on the English muffin. Ham was a little thick… good but would’ve preferred a better ratio of egg to ham etc but great flavor. Great coffee as always. (2023) Always great coffee. a nice, spacious, fun spot to sit and enjoy! The cruellers are insanely good. Probably my favorite thing here. The bagel sandwiches are also awesome-bagel jar bagels are on point!

Had an awesome time at Hofbräuhaus Buffalo! The atmosphere is super lively and fun—feels like you’re at a year-round Oktoberfest. The food was delicious (definitely try the schnitzel and pretzels), and the beer is brewed in-house and tastes amazing. Staff were friendly ( Alisha was an awesome server) and dressed in traditional outfits, which added to the vibe. Great place to go with friends or family for a fun night out. Highly recommend!

It does feel like Oktoberfest whenever you go. Service is friendly but slow. Waited a while to place and receive every order (drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert). The music was extremely loud indoors. My ears and head hurt leaving and you can't hold a conversation without yelling. The live band and entertainment were great but so so loud. A good one time visit.

My wife and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night. To start we both had Hefe Weizen beer. It was very good. For appetizer we shared a Riesenbrezen Pretzel Combo. It was very delicious. For dinner my wife had Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich and I had the Wurstplate with Buttered Spätzle instead of Sauerkraut. Both dishes were very delicious. Finally, for dessert, we both split a serving of Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte with vanilla ice cream. It was a delicious treat to end a fine meal with. The indoor dining area was very expansive with lots of seating. Sometimes parties will have to share a table, but that goes along with the community atmosphere. The servers were very friendly. Also they have live entertainment. When we were there the band was a local German band. They were very good, and they made it a lively atmosphere.

The atmosphere is the only thing saving on this review. They had a beer Stein holding contest, and everyone was very energetic. I wish I could say the same about the wait staff, 20 minutes to get a beer and there’s literally four people there. I would give service a zero. I love beer, I tried three different ones, they were all undrinkable. They desperately need to clean their lines.

Read a few 'OK' reviews before we went. But was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, we ordered 2 apps, 2 dinners and a dessert. All were cooked fantastically. Beer was good and the staff was very helpful. Ended up becoming a member and will be coming back very soon!

I mad a reservation over a month in advance for a party of 6 for a birthday . I let them know it was a birthday and if there was anything special they can do would be greatly appreciated. Confirmed my reservation by phone today , they confirmed its for a birthday surprise . Upon arriving, we were told we have a great table right in front of the stage. Our hostess walks us over and there Is a party of about 20 people taking up the table . They won't move and I insist we had a reservation, the hostess says they won't make room since it's communal seating and they stick us upstairs the farthest possible spot away from the stage ... the food was ok , and our server offers us dessert menus at the end. Totally mised the birthday part .. soooo dissapointing and definitely will never recommend this place to anyone due to the double booking / whatever they want to call the error on there end ...

Wonderful fundraiser event to support Ukraine in their defense against the Russian invasion. The evening was filled with comraderie, lively music and good food and beverages. Thanks to Hofbrauhaus for taking a stand against Russia's aggression. Delicious fish fry now on the menu every Friday - beer battered Haddock, French fries, German potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. The salmon is also terrific. Don't forget to enjoy a liter of in-house brewed authentic German beer. Update March 2025 - I just had the triple layer chocolate cake with cherry filling. Awesomely delicious! And large. I'll be ordering again on a future visit. May 2025 - The Bourbon Grilled Salmon is delicious. I've had it 5 times and it has always been cooked to perfection.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The restaurant looks like this while there's four employees hanging out. Plus I ordered a medium drink and they gave me a small. When I said I ordered a medium, they said, "that's a small". 🤣

I know that we all come from different backgrounds, I speak multiple languages, and English is not my 1st language. The individual who was trying to take my order had such difficulties understanding basic English, didn't know what I was referring to when I asked for Tim Bits and 2X large hot chocolates. I was pointing to the actual menu for her in order to get it right. I felt like giving up and just leaving was the best option. It just felt like way too much trouble and energy for something so trivial.

The boy at the counter this morning messed up our order. We asked for 2 pumpkin spiced drinks, a pumpkin spice muffin, 2 everything croissant sausage breakfast sandwiches, 10 chocolate glazed doughnuts - spending $26. The drinks first of all were not pumpkin spice, they were cinnamon apple - absolutely disgusting - not to mention he iced the latte when it was suppose to be hot. This is extremely aggravating as we had already arrived home before noticing. He needs to be trained. 3 people after us got their food and drinks before us. I wasn’t going to leave a review over the drinks but now that I just opened this muffin, and it’s a fruit explosion and not a pumpkin spice flavor, I’m livid.

I don't know what happened to this location. It used to be efficient and friendly, but over the past several months their service has declined rapidly. They take forever to take orders and if you're coming during the afternoon or evening hours, forget it! I'll take my business from here on out to the Niagara Street location; they know a thing or two about courtesy, hospitality and the customer's time.

Pretty good. I went in for a snack between appointments and the ne apple coffee was YUCK!!! But not my fault. Maybe you’ll like it. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was just okay. Nothing special. But while we were there the pest guy was spraying all around us. Couldn’t they have done it at a different time where customers weren’t sitting in the restaurant? Plus, there were a lot of homeless people just standing all around the restaurant. One even had a sign standing next to cars in the drive thru. Sooooo. Needs help

Only 2 employees here make my coffee correctly and they work overnight. If I come in the day my coffee is always wrong. I don't get how you mess up cream and sugar it's not complicated lol

We LOVED our visit to the Breadhive! The service and staff were great! The food was even better! We truly enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches on their freshly baked bagels! The place is incredibly cute and the outdoor space is perfect!

I love the aaliyah breakfast sandwich on a pretzel. I substitute the sausage for bacon, I personally don’t like the sausage. The coffee isn’t good either. The Gwen turkey sandwich is huge. Great quality bread and you can get loaves to go. The baked goods such as the cinnamon bun and pecan bun are also great.

Had breakfast at Vasilis but my out of town guest wanted a bagel 🥯 from the #breadhive before dropping off at the airport 🛫 I've heard about this place but never stopped in. Everyone's nice, coffee ☕️ is the best, but it's a long wait ✋🏾 to get you bagel 😋 My peach almond muffin is also, very good! Top of it, is like coffee cake 🎂 and the bottom part is very moist!

BreadHive Bakery and Café has great counter service and delicious food. Everyone in the back was working very hard, but it took 20 minutes to get a couple of bagels, toasted with cream cheese.

We stopped by on Halloween. Not only were the food and coffee excellent but they had an amazing spooky playlist on that added perfectly to the fall vibe.

As great donut as Paula. This is 3rd Paula Donut location I visited. The parking lot is quite smaller so you may have to wait for someone to leave to have a spot. Many staff and quick service so no one had to wait. Donut is fresh and good. They have some nice deal for each day so make sure you check it out. They also have tables to sit to enjoy your breakfast/donuts/coffee

The peanut stick was absolutely amazing! We were there around 9am and was impressed with the huge selection available. The cashier was patient and kind. It was definitely a donut dream to visit Paula's.

One of the best donuts I’ve had!! Too many good flavours to choose from but my favourite ended up being the glazed crueler and peanut stick. It was our first time trying Paulas, a lot of people we met in there were regulars and they were all super friendly, suggesting flavours. One of them even ended up randomly paying for our $35USD order!?! Never have had that happen before, it was super sweet! Definitely will be making the drive to come back out here for these fluffy classic donuts!

This place was recommended to us by somebody else so we drove out of our way to go here. We are very happy with our choice and doing here. The donuts were amazing according to my husband and the bagel was delicious according to me. The lines was long, but they move them through so fast. They offer a deal each day and their deals are really good.

They changed my favorite grilled cheese on the planet and went with a panini type bread. The cheese is the same mild cheddar, but no tomatoe and the miracle wip, I think, is no longer used on the sandwich either. The green salad 🥗 and dressing remain the same. The hot drinks no longer have the tall, grande, and Venti format for the coffee and other hot drinks. It's simply large or small. Other than that, not many more changes, but they lost a step with those changes.

This location doesn’t use quality grade matcha. Barely any matcha powder was used in my latte. It was an oat milk beverage with a dust of matcha. There are better quality matcha lattes at niche coffee shops on elmwood for the same price.

The atmosphere is by far so amazing in the heart of the Elmwood Village! Good vibes, people, staff, and love going here... I just wish they would be open past 7 pm like back in the day. Now we have to go to other places open later. 😞 Wish they also had recycling/recycled like their neighbor, Panera... I hate throwing out my plastic cups!

I really enjoy sitting at the patio tables to get work done outside. Love the location and the omelet was pretty good but expensive. My best suggestion for this place would be to consider hiring some staff that isn't so miserable and rude.

The food was good, and so was the coffee, and it's a cute little shop, I love the decorations. I got pumpkin pie and a white chocolate pumpkin mocha that's here for fall. The only bad thing about this place would be the service, the lady who made the drinks was super sweet and kind, but the guy taking orders was just very uninterested, seemed frustrated when a friend of mine was asking another friend what they wanted, maybe it was because she wasn't ordering fast enough? Idk. But he seemed very passive-aggressive for absolutely no reason. But the food was great and I'd totally recommend it to someone else, maybe just at a different location with different staff.

Carrie is the BEST server! She got us seated right away and then made coffee rounds before we even got to the half way point of our cups. They have good number of options in the menu. The cafe is large with 50/60 sitting area. The washroom is nice and clean. The interior is nice. There was a Bangladeshi gentleman working at the counter, he was so kind with us. Gave us details about the each menu. Highly recommended.

Had a great morning brunch at the SPoT Coffee on Delaware the other day. Coffee was excellent and the egg & bacon sandwich was delicious. Tariq was very helpful in assisting in my order and made my stay a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

I have been going to this Spot on and off for decades and this is the first bad experience I have had. The staff was wonderful but I got home, excited to eat my sandwich only to find they had given me someone else's order. Given I have celiac disease I couldn't even eat what they gave me instead so it is going to waste. I tried to call but the mailbox was full so I guess I am out however much it was and without my sandwich.

The food was great, but the service was terrible. The lady working register was very nasty, unprofessional (used profanity), and on some power trip. All because I paid for mine and my groups food, she tried to stop people with me from using the restroom stating they need to make a purchase after I just bought their food. Ran around the counter and got in front of them, until an older employee stepped in (assuming the manager/owner) and let us use the restroom. We were then walking by the stores entrance moments later and the same lady opened the door and stuck her middle finger up at us. This was the Halloween event that happened on Sat. Oct 25.2025. Very disappointed with her actions. But the bagels were delicious.

Did some computer work and enjoyed a hot chocolate at this cafe. The place is spacious and has good wifi so it is great for working. I came near closing time on a weekday and it was not crowded. I enjoyed my drink and got some productive working time in. Would recommend this cafe as a place away from the home or office to work.

Stopped in at SPoT Coffee the day before the Buffalo Marathon. I ordered an omelet, which was fresh and tasty! The bagel, that was included, was very good. The patio seating was perfect for a beautiful May Day. I also grabbed a blueberry scone for race morning. The staff was friendly and service fast. One cold morning when we were travelling from the US to Canada we stopped by Spot Coffee for a quick breakfast. This is a great ambience for a great breakfast. The large windows overlooking some high rises gives a big city feel ! The staff was friendly and the coffee was super amazing

Visiting Buffalo for the week, scoping out areas with plan to move out this way within the year… opted for casual dinner in this plaza. I think out of where we explored, this area is top of the list. This Panera Bread is in very nice complex of quality stores. Easy parking. Clean interior, friendly personable staff. Food is always great here, why Panera has always been a favorite.

If it was just a bit more affordable, I would have voted 5. Almost $9 for a relatively small bowl of soup is a bit much. Otherwise, everything is really tasty and I love the sip club! My suggestion with sip club though is get some variety or discount other items. I would love if I could get a smoothie or latte discounted with sip club. Make your drive through for pre-order only. The lines take really long and it's all the time. It's not super convenient getting a coffee and sitting behind people with a food order. It's not fast food.

If you want extra protein in your salad, I would go here. I don’t mean chicken, I’m talking about flies. Not only was there a scarce amount of lettuce in my salad, there was also a dead fly. This isn’t the only time I’ve had an awful experience with these salads. One time, I was just enjoying my favorite caesar salad after a long day, and all of a sudden, I feel something sharp in my mouth. It was a sharp piece of plastic. I’m very disappointed in the quality of these salads especially for the price of them.

There is no notice posted on the door to let the guests know that the toilet in the store is temporarily closed to guests. I want to eat in the store but they turned order into take-away. Their employees didn't tell me why when they gave me the order. I paid to eat in the store to enjoy it, and you told me to sit outside on a hot day. The extremely poor employee system and service attitude need great improvement. An elderly cleaning woman was very mean in her speech. She was talking and laughing with her colleagues, and the moment she saw us that I was going to eat in the store, her tone was very bad. Excuse me, did I do something bad? Are you discriminating that because I'm Asian? Does this cleaner think I can't speak English? Are you discriminating? As an employee, you have the right to let the guests know. I spent money and you didn't tell me what happened. You also inexplicably told me to eat outdoors and there was no toilet to use. Why didn't you put a piece of paper on the door? When I took the meal, the staff of the store didn't tell me, and no one explained the reason from beginning to end. One of the employees only told other customers, but didn't tell me why because I am Asian? They didn’t repeat to me what they told other customers and I was right across from them.

I'm happy to visit Panera bread here ! It's very clean, the staff is nice, and the manager is very attentive. The sip club is a really great value. I'd recommend coming here for a small bite !

We were looking for someplace new to try for dinner and stumbled upon the Apollo Family Restaurant using a search of Google. Upon first walking in I see the ATM and no credit cards accepted. Then a sign that says please seat yourself. I first thought this is going to be a one and done visit. However, they got the two worst things right out of the way! The service was quick and friendly by all 3 who took the drink order, took the food order and helped bring out the food. The pot roast melt did not disappoint. It was not a skimpy sandwich by any means and very tasty. It was served with what steak fries that in any other restaurant would be a double order and a pickle spear. All in all, Apollo did not disappoint. We will definitely be back for a return visit soon.

We stopped into Apollo Family Restaurant for breakfast with the kids and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed right away. Service was impressively quick, and the portions were generous. The menu had lots of classic breakfast options, and everything came out hot and fresh. Just a heads up: it’s cash only, so come prepared. Overall, a solid, family-friendly spot we’d definitely visit again.

My wife and I are visiting from Canada and we gave this restaurant a go and we were over the moon happy as the food was outstanding! The waitress was lovely and professional. We would highly recommend the restaurant....if you like big portions and you have a good appetite you wont leave hungry.

I like good portion sizes, solid Greek food, and friendly service in a casual atmosphere. This place delivered on all of those. We ordered the Chicken and beef souvlaki dinner, and gyros. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy and the gyros was tasty. The beef was a tad on the dry side. The potatoes and rice were great. We also had a child's pizza meal, it was just a pita with sauce and cheese slopped on it and heated up. It was quite expensive for what it was, though the kid liked it.

I have been to Mythos many of times. Usually everything is good, sometimes things are great. But overall they are pretty consistent. Their souvlaki breakfast, lunch or dinner is a great option. I like their souvlaki chicken and beef. I do wish there was a pork option. The spanakopita pictured looks a little over toasted however it was actually quite tasty. The beef souvlaki breakfast was great! The chicken souvlaki melt on a pita was very enjoyable! Service is usually quick and friendly. The restaurant has a family vibe. Mythos is a reliable choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We got here around 8 PM with a group of six and the food came out super fast (probably since they close at 9). Everything tasted great and I’d definitely recommend it. Restrooms were okay, and there’s parking right behind the restaurant for $2/hour, which was really convenient.

Gyro was okay. Lots of meat and plenty of veggies but everything was kinda tasteless. Lots of saufe but on the end of gyro. Fries were good, nothing wrong with them.

Best Greek food I‘ve had in ages. The eggplant panini is especially good. It’s an easy place to bring kids. The server was also very helpful regarding a gluten allergy in our party. There were even more gluten free options than were listed on the menu.

This was my first time here. Our waitress, I think was Elle,or Ellie(?) and omgosh was she fantastic! My friends and I did a lot of talking and she came back like 5 times asking if we were ready to order. Then we had questions, and asked about certain foods changes. They accommodated my friends needs to her eating restrictions, without hesitation. This girl was so nice and had a great personality towards us. Then the food..I got a vegetable omelette (w/feta cheese) and home fries. I'm eating the leftovers as I write this review lol I wish I would've bought another one to bring home! Compliments to whoever made my food bc it was delicious and probably the best omelette I've had in a restaurant.. And be sure to get peppers and onions on your home fries! I will be back for sure!

The food was good diner food and the price was what you would expect. It's big inside so they could accommodate large groups if need be. The jalapeno steak omelette was great and it was loaded! It's a typical diner inside nothing special to look at but it gets the job done. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.

A friendly atmosphere like most Greek restaurants. Very busy! But service was pretty fast nonetheless! Waitress was knowledgeable and accurate with order. Food was pretty good. Nice variety to menu so everyone should find something they like. Vegetarian options are labeled.

My sister and I went for breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the pancakes huge and delicious, and the sausage patties were awesome. The service was great and the prices reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Love it here. Came in from out of town for the Bills game and found them near the hotel. The service was cordial, the staff kind and the food portions were much larger than I anticipated. You get a lot of food on the plate. The ambience is pleasant and the server was very attentive. Definitely worth the visit!

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Perfect go to spot if you don’t know where to go to eat. The chicken souvlaki salad is hands down the best.

Not a Canadian! I have never seen a more rude employee. She needs to understand that not all customers who go there are regulars. My spouse and I regularly go to Tim's in Toronto and are use to the ordering. We didn't expect that we had to say we wanted cream and sugar in an ice coffee. In Canada is already on the mix. Basically at this restaurant it is cold coffee with ice. The worst part was when she slide the timbits across the counter and walked away. No thank you, nothing. Not even a look at us. It felt here you go. Get out was our impression. Never going back here. And no. There was no line up of people in front of us or behind us We were the only customer.

Canada can keep this place. Glad I only ordered 2 donuts to try because I won't be back for coffee after this. My donut was the creme filled. Stale donut with a small dab of creme in the middle. So small I couldn't taste it she said it was marshmallow cream I will take her word on that because wasn't enough for flavor. Definitely will go to dunkin across the street.

They were very busy during breakfast time so I went inside. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged that I was at the counter for a long time. I thought that was unusual. Once I was able to order, the food and drinks came out quickly. The drinks were excellent and the food was good.

The manager/supervisor at this location on 5/29 was exceptional, going above and beyond to provide great service. Despite the busy morning rush at 8 AM, I received the wrong drink at the drive-through and went inside to have it corrected. The manager took the time to step away from preparing food items to personally apologize, promptly fixed the mistake, and even offered a gift card. This thoughtful gesture made a big difference—outstanding customer service!

They are always SO NICE! Not one time have I had a grump waiting on me, every single employee acts like they are so happy to see you when you pull in. I just love that they can tailor things for your specs, they're just so NICE!!

I arrived at Tim Hortons for a quick breakfast before the eclipse. I sat down at a table/booth, ordered my food and waited about 5 minutes. I got timbits and a drink. My mango refresher was very good, and my timbits were good aswell.

Went at 7 am on a sunday. The coffee was old and cold. We asked for a dark roast and it was not dark roast, maybe regular. We got. 2 snack wraps, they also had old reheated eggs (edge of the yellow was green) and we paid for one with sausage and one with bacon. The preparer even checked with us what we wanted, but he still got it wrong. One had bacon and the other only had eggs. Usually we would go back, but we were already on the road heading back to Canada. Very disappointing, never been to a tims with old cold coffee in the am.

Love these donuts. Fresh and clean tasting. I got pbJ and powdered Bavarian. The PB J had the perfect ratio of PB to jelly flavor. Well balanced. I love the custard. Love it. Thank you

Just like great Aunt Mil used to make from scratch! I believe the true test to see if you like a donut shop is to try the plain donut. Incredible! Drove all the way out from Akron to check it out and it was well worth the drive. Even have a drive-thru! Extensive menu. Friendly staff. Clean

Okay I was in at 144pm on Monday the first of September. And everything was amazing except the fact that the cashier took a photo of my kids and I sitting down to eat our food with her personal cell phone sideways and hid it from us. Highly unusual behavior for a cashier to secretly be taking photos of me and my kids in a place I had never been. I would of came back in the future because amazing service food atmosphere everything but that cashier made me uneasy because I dont know why she took a photo of me and my children eating the doughnuts we had just bought in a place we had never been in and none of us recognized her or know who she is. My son saw it also and asked me. Overall amazing place but that cashier took a photo of me and my kids and I cant figure out why. Its not for your website and if it is, probaly should ask the customer first but if not, why did she?

Fantastic donuts. Clever flavors and pleasant staff. I have driven by donut craze many times, and today was the day I stopped. I was not disappointed. A very modest storefront, I believe a former Dickies donuts. But it is very nice and clean inside. I will definitely be back.

Hadn’t been in several years. Glad I went back. Breakfast was excellent. Service was very solid. Wasn’t too crowded on a Saturday morning. Prices are very reasonable shocked that two people could have breakfast for about 30 bucks with a generous tip.

First time visit here, stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the vegetable skillet, with scambled eggs and rye toast. Husband ordered cheese omelette, home fries and sausage. We enjoyed our meals. The skillet was steamy hot and very generously sized. Everything was delicious, with distinct tastes. I would order this again. Service was attentive, and place was clean.

Yesterday I went to Athens for the 1st time with family . I had the honey dipped batter fried chicken dinner with a side salad and my mom had a fish fry dinner. Did not expect huge portions like this. The fried chicken was good. It wasn't salty and oily, it was just right but I will say that honey mustard was not hittin' 😂 . The mashed potatoes were good as well. Nice thick consistency and home taste. As for the vegetables I don't Care for it. Comments on my salad was it definitely dressed to impress on the looks of it but there wasn't much lettuce. It was mostly onions..... The fish was good and batter was delicious as well. Tartar sauce not overbearing. I recommend this place 👌 you def get generous portions for the prices and good food

My husband and I came here for breakfast and the food wasn’t great. His pancakes were grainy and his scrambled eggs were very runny. My home fries were very mushy. I told the waitress and she brought more that were more cooked llonger but it just had a slight crispy on the outside and still mushy on the inside. We also made her aware of his food and all she did was apologize. She didn’t offer to have things cooked longer,get the manager or possibly take percentage off the bill. We ate a couple bites and realized we are going to have to take it home and either season the food & cook it longer or just toss it. When she did bring the over $40 check, I expressed to her how unhappy I was in paying this full bill(that was her opportunity again to have a manager come over. I didn’t ask for one either because I wanted to see how she would handle it but not even offering to have a manager come over sealed my fate in not dining here again) all she did was apologize again and then offer us a piece of desert, which we declined(we didn’t want anything sweet). So we paid the full bill and still even tipped her. It was such an easy fix, but instead she did nothing. We will NOT return here.

Food is mid and service is ok, nice little dinner. Pretty much only worth the Greek souvlaki salad. I ordered a #2 breakfast and they gave me only 2 tiny pieces of microwaveable bacon.. I could’ve made everything at home honestly. $12 for eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast and $13 for half of a sandwhich and no sides.. $30 for a lackluster brunch but hey can’t ask for too much here. The hostess is nice, quickly got us sat. We just missed the breakfast special by 6 minutes and my server was acting like it was too much to grab a menu for me to see what the breakfast specials were; in case I wanted to try to order them another day. Had to ask her a few times, hear her huff and puff and reassure her I’m not gonna order them I wanted to look at it for future reference. They do charge you extra 3% for using a card if not paying with cash so use cash.

Went for breakfast today. Had spanikopita which is always good, with our omelette and egg breakfasts. Coffee is always good as well. We noticed a woman working in the kitchen with long hair not wearing a hat or hair net. Thought it was a health requirement for food service. But who knows maybe it's not.

Drove in from the Roc, the Cafe here is quality. Fresh, clean, bold yet not bitter. I really love coffee, it’s always better when I travel abroad and the latte I had here felt like I was outside of the US. It’s very cozy and close knit inside in a warm and welcoming way. It’s very cleanly and despite the crowd my latte was out pretty quickly.

Had a great breakfast here with a former coworker. Great atmosphere and the Americano was delicious. BEC was just fine but I would try the quiche next time

Found this gem when visiting the city for a Bills game. Loved the vibe here! Perfect for talking to strangers. We came here for wine one night and then for coffee and breakfast sandwiches the next two mornings. Right next door to a cute bookstore too!

It’s a classic cafe, so whatever you expect from a cafe, this place is that. Cozy, small, operates till late night, a great place to chat with your friend for hours or just enjoy your scone and tee on a summer afternoon. It’s one of my favorite places in Buffalo.

Honestly, not great. And I really wanted it to be! Maybe I caught it on a bad day, but coming here was a disappointment. I came in around early evening, 4-5:00 give or take. My visit may not represent the cafe properly but in summary: stale muffins, easily crowded but good location, drinks weren’t good, and the service wasn’t either. Prices are alright, but you might be better off saving your money. 1) The food I got was…gross. I ordered a muffin and it was stale, with a strange, fridge/supermarket-like aftertaste that was also somehow the main flavor. I have pretty low standards for food and still had to force myself to finish it, but at least I did. My drink, a hot chocolate, was okay and well-presented. I went with another person who ordered something different and they mentioned theirs was super watery. We tried them pretty much from the counter and dined in. 2) Sadly, the person who took my order was cold and unfriendly. I also work in customer service, so I understand having off days and other general circumstances, but I was told they didn’t act like that with other customers. I can’t confirm this, but independent from that fact, it didn’t feel the best and I’d imagine others might feel similarly if they come in with the same experience. I’m sure every employee is lovely, including the person who took my order, but the way things aligned today just made for a crummy experience. And whew, that muffin was bad.

When I first visited the establishment, the baristas were so warm and welcoming. They were everything I’d imagine the perfect barista to be. Each one I have met has this particular confidence and hospitality about them. Even though we’ve exchanged little words, their staff has always been kind and patient, and not just to me. To everyone. And I love seeing that. The atmosphere is just like one of those jazzy YouTube music videos of coffee shops that you put on as background noise in your living room while you’re reading a book. It’s a vibe. Straight vibe. In person. I can’t get enough of it. Studying at Cafe Aroma was the absolute bee’s knees. They don’t close until midnight!I’ve also gone there at 6 in the morning, and they were great. Solid business. All of their staff that I’ve met are incredible. Morning and night. I noticed so many regulars after a while. It feels like a community within a community. Elmwood in general has a solid community of people. It just feels like some of the best gather in Cafe Aroma. I wish I could bring this beautiful coffee shop everywhere I go. Everyone deserves to experience that classic coffee shop feeling— that relaxing, jazzy morning sipping espresso while looking at local artwork. Cafe Aroma gives you that and more. I will be back, you’d best believe it.

This is not my usual location, but i was in the area. I ordered the same drink I've been ordering for years, at least 2x a week. Venti Flat White, extra hot, with almond milk. I drove off without tasting it first. I needed, or thought I needed, to let it cool. It was absolutely terrible. It tasted like warm muddy water with almond milk. I gave it 2 more sips, and couldn't take another. Biggest waste of $6.50! I order this all the time, this was NOT a flat white!

I drive out of my way to come to this location. They make the drinks perfectly and the staff are super great!!!

While spending a week of my life on the 7th floor of the attached Residence Inn I had the pleasure of visiting this Starbucks location a couple of times a day. It does all the normal Starbucks things. What’s special is the staff. Friendly, efficient, and accurate! There’s also a two tailed lady of the sea on the wall! Covid stuff: good layout and traffic flow. Places you can sit while being distanced from your fellow caffeine addicts.

Super friendly staff, the inside of the restaurant was clean, and packed full of customers. I felt welcome from the outside with a bunch of bike racks near the stairs. I definitely recommend visiting when you're nearby.

This Starbucks location never fails, the service is always fantastic and the consistency of the drinks never fail. I went this morning, and most the baristas already remember my name and drink order, most the time I just walk up to the counter and they know what I want! Just goes to show how much care goes into the service! Management must be fantastic, store always looks good and the baristas work hard!

I had some guests visiting and we all had a positive experience at this restaurant. We got a chicken, beef, and goat curry. Along with rice and naan. Each curry was delicious but lacked salt, which isn’t bad, we didn’t mind adding salt to our liking. The clay pots that the curry came in definitely added to the experience! Would recommend this place and I will be coming back!

An underwhelming Experience!! Clay Handi fell short of expectations in several areas, leaving me with an underwhelming dining experience. Firstly, the cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to par. This immediately created a negative impression and raised concerns about the overall hygiene standards. Secondly, the service was lacking in attentiveness. The server did not bother to ask where we preferred to have the hot clay pots placed and simply found an empty spot on the table, potentially creating a safety hazard. The food itself was mediocre. I tried the Paneer Tikka Masala and Goat Biryani, both of which were just okay. The flavors were not particularly memorable, and the dishes lacked the richness and depth I was hoping for. However, I must say that eating dinner served in a clay pot was a unique and enjoyable experience. Plus, the mango lassi was fresh and delicious, and they certainly didn't skimp on the portion size. After reading positive reviews online, I had high hopes for Clay Handi. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the hype. The combination of subpar cleanliness, inattentive service, and average food made for an underwhelming experience.

I’ve been to this restaurant before, and my first impression was that the place was quite loud and had a strong odor. Be prepared to go straight home and change your clothes afterward, or you’ll end up smelling like curry. As of Friday, April 25, 2025, the restaurant is no longer open for dine-in as it has been demolished for renovation please see the attached photo. For now, they are only offering takeout, so make sure to call ahead and place a pre-order. Many items were unavailable during my visit, for example, both the daal and the anda curry were out of stock. With limited options, I decided to try the malai kofta. Honestly, I would not recommend it. It had a pungent smell and a strong masala flavor, more typical of Pakistani-style cooking. I also ordered butter naan, but they forgot to add the butter, I’m assuming this was an honest mistake. I would consider returning once the renovation is complete, especially to try the daal again, which was amazing the last time. But for the next 3–4 months, dine-in service will be unavailable as the business is temporarily closed for renovations.

Food and atmosphere is good. Service was slow, probably Monday. Chicken Biryani was excellent and will be coming again to try other specialties… Second experience was bad. Under renovation but quality of food has considerably gone down or we are getting used to of good food in GTA.

My first time having Pakistani food, just top notch goodness. So much flavor , chicken tikka masala was phenomenal. Those little bowls of sauces were incredible. I can’t wait for my next visit to try something different. Nice restaurant with easy street parking.

The place serves delicious Pakistani/Afghani food. One should definitely consider visiting while exploring towns around the Niagara Falls. I’d recommend their Chicken Handi and Goat Biryani. Kulfa-Faluda was also decent. Their curries can sometimes ooze excessive oil, wish they could cut it down. The place can get a bit crowded and noisy during rush hours.

Food is very very tasty. Never eat this much tasty food before in USA. Nazia and Wahab employees are so kind and hospitable. We feel like we are eating food at home. We love to come here again and again. Price is very very normal and the food portion is super good.

If I could give the service a 0 I would. I was going through the drive through for a coffee… when I got to the window my coffee tasted off I couldn’t taste the sugar or cream but sometimes they don’t stare it or sometimes it just seem the coffee is made different like watery sometimes and very thick of times…. So before I could ask the young lady at the window for extra cream and sugar and to stare it …. The girl who made the coffee (Amber is the name I was given by the supervisor Jasmine which I don’t believe as she didn’t want to give me the girl name) she stated “ all she going to do is complain about me” …. I wasn’t complaining about her I was asking for my coffee but before I can do that the girl got nasty …. Then when talking to the supervisor jasmine she made excuses for Amber as if it was OK for her to say that to a customer because she said I always have an issue with my coffee. My thing is anybody who drink coffee no that sometimes they make it different so the taste may be different depending on who made the coffee. When I ask for the team member named Jasmine did not want to give me her name. She said I’ll just take the complaint for her and I said no I’m not complaining to you. I’m complaining about the team member that made that statement. Jasmine begin to get nasty because I ask for corporate number and the store number and what was the team member name. Jasmine said well you always say something wrong with your coffee and I explain to Jasmine. I haven’t been to this location in months because of the customer service. I only stopped by there today because I was in the area shopping but I avoid it that Tim Hortons now so I know I shouldn’t have stopped there today, but it was on my route And now I regret stopping there because they’ve left a nasty taste in my day . They need to retry amber on customer service skills. You cannot say whatever you wanna say to a customer I think it’s OK and it’s unfortunate that you have a supervisor. I think it’s OK for you to speak to a customer like that and then a mix of me talking to the supervisor Amber comes over and try to hand me my coffee like here And I told her no I don’t want the coffee after you was just nasty to me. You could’ve done something to my coffee. …. It was very poor customer service in the drive-through from Jasmine and Amber. No matter if a customer come there every morning and get coffee and say hey this don’t have the cream or the sugar in it that I asked for or the vanilla shot I asked for in it you have to remake it. You work there you’re the Employee you’re suppose to provide good customer service. How do you try to penalize a customer for when they come in there and spend their money every day and some days the coffee is fine but the other days you can tell either the machine is dirty or the coffee was made different so you ask them to remake it. This was a horrible experience amber should not be allowed to speak to customers any type of way and the supervisor should hold her team members accountable

Expect slow service in the drive thru, even if you order in advance on the app. I sometimes get a panini or bagel on my 30 minute break at work, but not anymore because I end up wasting 20 minutes sitting in the drive thru. Something is definitely not being done here

The service was very pleasant. The breakfast sandwiches were fresh and yummy. The donuts were a great selection and delicious. We have only been to Tim Horton's a couple of times when we are traveling and it's always good.

You normally know what you're getting food wise at Tims. Their breakfast sandwiches are always delicious and the various coffees and drinks are always amazing. This particular Tim's is usually busy, but the staff is consistently friendly and efficient.

I was almost impressed by the level of incompetence I witnessed at this Tim’s location today. It was 1 pm and I was a member of a 6-person customer line awaiting service. But customer service was not on the menu today. No, no - today must have been Customer Indifference Day. We were not acknowledged verbally or visually as we patiently awaited some sort of service. As the moments ticked by, I observed that there were 5 people on duty, which does not suggest their being understaffed. Then I took stock of my fellow customers. Was there a foul odor emanating from any of us? Were any of us menacing or miserable in countenance? I looked, I sniffed, I looked again. But everything smelled of carbs and coffee with no monstrous odors or people in sight. Alas, I had to leave my fellow customers because my patience was worn thin by the incompetency and indifference I was witnessing. I offered a silent but fond farewell to the fine looking and smelling people in line with me. Then I went to a nearby Tim’s where I was served with swift smiles. I will never come back to this location, but I will always remember the low bar they set today.

They need better employees here, all the employees are working slow yet still messing up orders. This is a busy location! They should consider having more employees and ensure they know how to work in fast pace without messing up orders. The manager her name tag was barely present she's not wearing it properly. I think name was Keller, don't have a friendly tone while dealing with customers. She seems like she don't wana be here.

Had to repeat my order multiple times and say my cream and sugar multiple times cause the worker either want playing attention or they can't hear you at the speaker. Said 3 sugar 2 cream 4 times till he got it right. Then at the window they were trying to shoo us before we got our whole order. Didn't appreciate being looked at all like I was the inconvenience. Not coming back

We ordered their new Cali Skillet which came with a skillet of veges, eggs, potatoes, along with three tortillas. We also got a side of seasoned fries. This order was a good size for two people. For drinks we did two coffees, which tasted like the standard coffee. The breakfast was very tasty and the fries were an excellent choice for a side as it helped enhance the meal’s flavour. Service was prompt and welcoming. Would recommend this place.

Stopped for breakfast before the Bills/Ravens playoff game. Felt bad for the server, she had to keep apologizing to guests as the cook kept messing up orders… (Apparently he was new). Worked out for us, our meal was totally fine, the cooked did mess up by sending out 8 eggs instead of 4!!! No complaints for food or service, restaurant did feel empty, nonetheless would come again…

I have never been to a Dennys that is so poorly kept. The floor is sticky and the bath was very dirty. I will not come to this locations again. We are getting ready to leave and the plates are still on the table.

It is quite frustrating when my order gets messed up in some way every time I order from this location. I like the food, that I ordered, but one time your forgot my coffee which was the only reason I ordered food that day and today you have my name in the burger box, but it was not the Slamburger and red potatoes I ordered. I know distress is a bit much of an emotion to feel in this case, but i have to pick stuff off first and then sauce it up before I can “enjoy” it. I don’t want to order from here anymore; I’ll stick to the one by my good friend’s place for now on.

The perfect breakfast. My orange 🍊 juice is not included. I was drinking it. I highly recommend the steak omlette. Add avocado 🥑 for around a buck and change.

Cold, Late, and Basically Trash – Worst Breakfast Experience Ordered just a simple breakfast: coffee, toasted bagel with avocado. That’s it. Should’ve been quick and easy. Instead, it was a complete disaster. The order took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was a total letdown. The coffee was fine, but the bagel? Cold, soggy, barely toasted, and the avocado looked like it had been sitting out forever. No seasoning, no effort — just slapped together like they didn’t care. I couldn’t even eat it. Straight into the garbage. Tim Hortons seriously needs to do better. If you can't get a basic bagel right, what’s the point? Never ordering breakfast from here again. I would rather go to Dunkin Donut from next time

I was in the drivethru 5-4-2025 at approx 130 pm I ordered a coffee had to repeat myself 3 times due to the commotion in the background. Laughing and goofing around. I got up to the window and there was a female on the back of another female horsing around. I then see 3 more people come from the back goofing around and acting childish. This behavior is not acceptable. I was waiting forever for a simple Large 2 cream and shot of espresso. Got the coffee 3/4 filled and tasted horrible. The manager on that shift needs to be held accountable and the crew needs to go back for training to explain its work not highschool lunchtime.

I hear people rave about Tim Hortons all the time. The service was fast and friendly but someone needs to explain how this is any different than a McDonald's or Burger King.

I was just told that i couldn't have a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. The cashier assumed that i wanted a 3 dollar meal? What was she judging me on? My appearance, my color, the way i was dressed. Why couldn't she just prepare what i asked for? Beware!!

As a company you should remove hashbrown from the menu, i have been 4 days in a row 3 locations and no hashbrownstoday i didnt order one i asked if there was a chance they had hash brown today

Despite a very busy morning, the staff were working hard to get everyone served and did so with pleasant and incredibly prompt service! Blew my expectations away, thanks for the great breakfast

I initally tried this restaurant awhile back when the new owners took over and it was disappointing. I decided to give it another go , but was equally let down. The chicken in the soulvaki was extremely bland and almost seemed boiled with no grill marks or searing of the meat. My daughter ordered pancakes and she said they tasted "sour". The coffee and toast were good. I will say the service was phenomenal and our waitress treated us with kindness and was very attentive.

Another great restaurant! I came here for breakfast with my parents, we couldn't decide on what to get because everything looked so good! We definitely have to come back here again. The food was very delicious. We got our food pretty fast too. I think that's because it wasn't busy at all, it should be busier! A huge menu to look at, something to try for everyone. I had their French Toast, I've been on a little journey to find the best French Toast, and this is the best I've ever tasted! Definitely try it if you go here. The special for the day was potato pancakes, my dad had that and I took a little bite. Another really delicious food! If that's the special for the day, get it! The staff was very nice too.

I want there about 11:30 or so to have breakfast I had stuffed French toast with strawberries and bacon the person who is with me had chocolate chip pancakes eggs and sausage it took a long time for us to get our order and of course by the time it came it was cold the waitress was very nice she wants to have them heated up but it really wasn't that hot I told her it was okay cuz I didn't want to send it back again the food was okay I don't think I'd go back I have to say it was very clean

I found a black hair in my food. I informed the staff. All they said was "oh." They didn't get a manager, they didn't offer a discount, they didn't even say, "we apologize for that." Just "oh" and the full bill.

I decided to stop here after working three night shifts in a row at a local hospital. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict and a cup of coffee. The gentleman at the counter served me coffee right as I walked in and the service was exceptional. However, the service is the only reason why I would come back as I did not really enjoy the food I was served. The potatoes were undercooked and bland and the eggs Benedict itself did not wow me. The gentleman who I assumed was the host would sit in a booth behind the counter in-front of the tv and wait while the two ladies serving were cashing people out, busing, etc. He sat there drinking a cup of coffee and even used the container of sugar I was using and pretty much grabbed from where I was eating, which isn’t exactly inappropriate but I found odd and a little off putting that a staff member was using the same sugar I was (maybe I’m over reacting) then possibly saw my face as I was surprised and offered me more coffee. The restaurant itself needed a facelift and the counter where I was sitting started to break down in the one corner. Overall, the service by the two waitresses this morning were the highlight of my experience as they both seemed to have a good rapport with their regulars.

We usually order takeout, but on two occasions we dined in and the experience was excellent: great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and quality service.

Ordered my regular hot pastrami that I only get at this location and today received this. If you didn’t have the ingredients to make the sandwich, there are options to let the customer know that you dont have the ingredients or it could be complete laziness. Mind you this isnt pastrami at all just cheese and shredded beef. Looks like I’m changing locations or never ordering here again.

Visited before work and ordered a cinnamon bagel with bacon and cheese. I then changed my mind on the type of bagel I wanted. The cashier really have me a issue with changing the bagel. I said I will pay for it if its extra and unhappily he changed it and I paid for it. When I got my bagel it was burnt and hard. I have never had such bad service or food here before. Not sure if I will ever be back. I mean people spend their hard earned money at places and to get food that needed to be thrown out is truly disappointing.

When we first started to come here we loved it. But the past two times it has been a horrible experience. We gave it another shot after the one bad experience because we thought maybe they are just having a bad/off day but now it has been two weekends in a row. They run out of almost all bagels after 11am. The counter staff is rude while ordering and then try to act like your order is not yours. This needs to get fixed asap.

First time here excellent service and excellent staff very good food

A V O I D -- They are inept here -- way behind in take out orders. This is supposed to be convenient to order ahead and they are 15 mins past their scheduled ready time (and counting) -- I'm temped to leave without my food as I think I'll be here for a while. The person at the counter said, "it will be a bit" Update 20 mins and counting behind their pickup time -- Embarrassing. Fire this whole crew. They don't even look like they are trying to hustle through it. The manager is meandering around. Staff looks confused. Final update -- It took 31 mins after the estimated ready time for a pickup order.

One of my favorite places to get breakfast! Bagels are always fresh (they really bake them daily - no frozen/reheated here!), eggs are real, coffee is hot & service is quick! Nick gives the place a great vibe- if there is an issue, he's willing to fix it with a smile, the whole team is always on point - great customer service. And for everyone who says it's pricy - that's the cost of fresh! Sure you can get a slightly cheaper bagel at Tim Hortons/Dunkin - because it's been frozen in a warehouse for who knows how long. You get what you pay for, and Brueggers is definitely worth it!

Absolutely love bruegger's bagel especially the Delaware avenue store. They service the best breakfast sandwiches around and Nick and his staff are the best. Happy they came to Buffalo and the prices are very reasonable.

I ordered delivery for Panera at this location on Elmwood. Tomato soup and grilled cheese, the pick two. Here is how my grilled cheese arrived. It was burnt all over. This is horrible. The workers couldn’t have thought this was acceptable. This confirms why I stopped going to Panera. I rather support local.

Was a big fan of Paneras, this time I went I expected the same delicious food, but what I was given was horrifying!! Literal tape and plastic found in my sandwich and my salad! It was like they threw whatever trash they had into my food and I had to find that out the hard way. Absolutely disgusting, will never eat here or at another Paneras again if this is the level of food safety and quality they present.

It's one of my go-to spots when I want something quick but still fresh and satisfying. I love the variety on the menu—especially the soups and salads. The sandwiches are always tasty and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy, great for working or catching up with a friend. One negative thing: it's very difficult to find parking on the spot at this Panera location! Enjoy your meal! ;)
