Our first time here on a recommendation and its was great! The Pho had great rich flavor, added some hot oil for a perfect spice level. The fried dumplings and spring rolls were also delicious! Some of the best chicken and rice we have tried. Highly recommended!

Oh my goodness, it's like you're enjoying Pho in Saigon - the flavor is incredibly authentic. We both opted for the Pho Special and Bun Special, and they were both fantastic. I decided to give their coffee a try, and the milk coffee was delicious, made with Trung Nguyên coffee (a well-known Vietnamese coffee brand). Our early arrival and wait were definitely worth it. If you love Vietnamese food, you have to come here.

Generous meal portion and delicious food! Went during Saturday lunch time with a big group of friends. Found seating pretty easily. Meals came out in a timely fashion. We parked in the plaza across from the street. Plenty of parking there.

Pho Dollar is located in a somewhat not-so-safe-feeling neighborhood. We parked the car right in front of their restaurant. The lower level of the restaurant is closed. The upper section is functional and used for dining area. The employee was friendly and efficient. Price is fair, considering the portion they offer. Wish they offer different size options for the noddle soup. All in all we enjoy the food and service and would recommend this place!

I was recommended this spot by a family member since I never had pho before; I’ve been here twice since. This is a great little restaurant with not too much going on inside so it’s nice for dates or group dinners. Both times I e been here I had a super friendly server that made sure to help and answer any questions. I’ve ordered shrimp spring rolls both times and was super pleased they had a lot of flavor. I’ve also ordered the #28 pho bowl that comes with different things to add in - also a favorite and delicious. The beef that came in the pho was tender and the broth was super flavorful even before toppings. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I definitely look forward to dining here again! :)

Great flavors! Probably one of the best phos I've ever had. It tasted clean & not greasy with the broth. The meat wasn't overcooked in it! Attentive service being only one server.

Best wings we tried in Buffalo. The Buffalo sauce and amount of crisp on the wings were perfect. I loved the French onion soup (wish I got a bigger size!) Highly recommend going here

So wifey and I are on a typical road tripping vacation. The hotel staff found out I wanted wings of course. They recommended Gabriel's gate as a local favorite as opposed to the hyped up one. The wings were good. We got mild spice. Their blue cheese burger was a bit dry considering I ordered it cook medium. Wifey had a cheese steak sandwich and it was very good. Especially the next day with a light nuke in the microwave. The server was fabulously helpful and friendly. Place was super busy and everyone really seemed to be enjoying the vibe of the place. It's a shame that we live a few thousand miles away because we would definitely be back.

They initially told us an hour wait but we've been dying to try it so we said we'd wait. Went across the street to this amazing little bar and they ended up calling us after 35 minutes! We had beautiful weather and got lucky that they sat us in the patio. The atmosphere was super chill and beautiful. The wings were delicious and crispy and the mozzarella sticks were good. Definitely our top 5 wing spot in Buffalo!

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. They are very well decorated especially for Halloween. I had a crock of onion soup. It was nice and hot. They used croutons instead of the slice of bread. I had a chicken sandwich with micro greens and cheese and avacado. The cheese could have been a little more melted on the sandwich but this is totally nitpicking. Everything tasted great and the service was quick and friendly. Very locals only vibe. The bartender knew her clients kids and asked them about how they are. This is what it’s about. I’d come back.

The wings were incredible. Hot wings did not leave a strict Sriracha, franks hot sauce, or Tabasco sauce taste it was just pure spice, Crispy skin, tender middle, very little grease. Cajun had the same texture but was a rub. A subtle spice that built up to a "Dragons Breath" after 3 Im definitely coming back

Wings and chili cheese fries were great. Service was a little slow to start but once we got served they did a good job. Atmosphere was pretty cool. If ever in Buffalo again, I would probably go back.

My kids loved the food here, the beef weck sandwich with jus dip was delicious and the buffalo wings lived up to their reputation as among the best in the city!

Having never been to a Burmese restaurant before, we had no idea what to expect. A local recommended we give this place a try, and we’re so glad we did. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, and the food was absolutely unforgettable. I still daydream about it and tell everyone heading to Buffalo that they need to eat here. It looks like the restaurant is temporarily closed, but I sincerely hope it reopens before our next trip back. When it’s open, this is without a doubt a must-dine experience in Buffalo.

The worst Pad Ke mao ever!! I ordered chicken spring roll and got home to find vegetable spring roll! But that’s not my annoyance, the pad ke Mao was tasteless, spineless, seasonless, I had beef pad ke Mao and the best stank like either it or the whole food was about to get rotten The food is not fresh! The ingredients or vegetables are probably not frozen properly Whatever it is, it wasn’t a good experience! For food that costs almost $30, I see no reason why this restaurant would make subpar food. Even a food truck or road side food seller can do better than this! As I expected, I had a stomach upset after eating this! Stay away! The food is trash and wouldn’t give you the thai food experience!

Was my first time at a Burmese Restaurant. I've had black rice before and I personally love it. The restaurant is nice, very welcoming and the stuff is very polite. We had the Seafood Feast Boat. It comes with a salad and a soup and later they bring the boat. It was a lot for 2 and we do eat a lot. We preferred to take the salad to go (and btw, what an amazing dressing, I can't tell much because I don't know but there's ginger in it). I also had an avocado juice, so good that I forgot to take a picture. I can't wait to come back and try other things! I'm giving it 4 starts because the initial service it did take a while to come up but nothing that would make us mad or anything like that.

Beef curry was a little salty at the beginning and at the end , can't really taste the curry in it as well. Their signature Pad Thai (not in picture) was really good, pounded with flavors and fresh ingredients . the avocado smoothie is quite good , it is not as sweet as other places so you can really enjoy your meal with it.

What a treat- truly different asian cuisine here, with black rice sushi!!! The items on the menu are familiar but have a twist, so you can get familiar kinds of dishes but wth a new take or a different or unexpected ingredient or presentation. The quality of the food was top notch, and the service was just as good. I was there for a late lunch with a friend, and it was not incredibly busy so we have a nice quiet meal, and were able to take our time and enjoy everything we (over)ordered! This was one of my favorite sushi experiences in Buffalo, and I can't wait to go back.

Ordered grub for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint in the deliciousness department. Had the Pad Thai for dinner, Chicken curry with Paratha as an appetizer, and Thai Ice Tea as my beverage. The Pad Thai was flavorful and came with a TON of bean sprouts on top, but it was okay. Would have liked a slightly bigger portion, but it was tasty which is most important. The curry had a nice flavor profile as well and was a Burmese curry so a little less thick thank Indian curry can be. The Paratha bread is special highlight that deserves oodles of praise and I recommend you get this by itself or with the curry (if you must) just to enjoy its tasty, flaky texture. Great for dipping in the curry as well. This was a takeout meal so can't speak to the service experience, but the ordering process was smooth on the website, but note that you can only pay with a giftcard online. Otherwise, you'll have to pay in-person upon pickup.

The food was really good! I especially really loved the coconut shrimp! I may have to come back again soon just for the free sake / ice cream offer from Yelp I didn’t realize was there until I got home, lol! Really great service too.

Kostas has a nice atmosphere, it’s clean and welcoming. I recommend their breakfast/brunch menu. I’ve tried their salad with grilled chicken and their chicken souvlaki but unfortunately the meat was really tough and dry each time… I’ll be back for their breakfast though!

I ordered take out from two places, and created my own Greek/Cantonese cuisine. The Singapore Mei Fun comes from a small, dingy looking place called Panda on Niagara St.. Don't let the outside fool you. They have the freshest tasting, "chinese" fast food in the city. They actually listen when you request a specific spice level. Mine is always extra hot...and it is. Filled with flavor, shrimp, pork, and chicken. The salmon, salad, veggies, and pita came from Kostas. Simply fantastic. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside, and moist/flaky on the inside. With size, cook, and price, it exceeds expectations on days you don't want to cook. Since I was mixing with rice noodles, I was able to omit the starch and get double squash/zucchini blend. It also came with soup or salad. We picked the salad. They did not skimp on fresh greens, onions tomato, peppers. Feta and bursting with herb dressing, and a highly grilled potato. I usually hate eating off of paper plates, but this was so good that it didn't matter.

I cannot sing the praises of this place too much! My wife ordered the Serf & Turf Salad, grilled gulf shrimp, 8oz NY strip steak seared to a "Blue" perfection, fresh mixed greens, portobello mushroom, feta, roasted red pepper $27. I had the Caesar Salad with Chicken. I was astounded a breast and a half of grilled Chicken on top a mound of romaine lettuce, slathered in Caesar dressing & copious amounts of Parmesan cheese. The server went out of her way to check if the dressing on my wife's salad contained an ingredient. She also checked back actually pausing, rather than just as she walked by to see if we needed anything. I took a picture of my $15 salad. Thank you to the owners who must care more about their staff and the customers. Wanting you to return for all the right reasons! Zoom in on the picture, the chicken was fantastic!

Without a doubt the BEST Greek food in Buffalo! True Greek food, authentic Spanikopita, grape leaves and any Greek specialty you could want. I have been eating here forever and it's always delicious!

A phenomenal venue with an extensive menu and great service! The portions were enormous, sumptuous and delicious!

Ordered the summer roll and the Cơm Sườn Tôm Nướng Trứng, both were pretty good! Slightly puzzled by the utensils though: got chopsticks and a knife with the summer rolls, and a spoon with a knife for the entrée. Not a big deal, just... interesting to say the least. The restaurant was kind of dead (only saw 2 parties dining in) around 6:30 PM on a Friday. I really wonder how restaurants like this stay in business.

Enjoyed an authentic Vietnamese lunch. Had springrolls, summer rolls, chicken satay, grilled pork chop, small bowl of pho, and sake flight. The server, Diamond had a great personality and was very attentive. The cook kept coming out to see how we liked our food. We left very full able satisfied. It tasted like home cooking.

Food was good but portions could be bigger. I really got into the store with a lot of excitement! Unfortunately I see on the menu they give you 3 satay as well as it says on the menu they give 3 satay. I server was good like average service but the restaurant is very well decorated and very clean but like I said food portions not good and they underserved me. Why didn't I ask in the store because I did not realize I was underserved. Sadly won't return but best of luck. Btw Duck Breast had more mushrooms than actual duck breast.

This place is a neighborhood gem. We live just a few blocks away and like to go here on Sunday nights. Never had a bad meal. Ordered the BBQ pork vermicelli tonight and the house sauce was absolutely excellent. I love it when a chef challenges you - and when you order a "4" spicy here, they don't disappoint. The nice thing is that there is a wonderful flavor to go along with the heat. They don't phone it in here. Good stuff!

While I have never been able to physically go to the location here, I DoorDash from here often! This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Buffalo. I always have a craving for Pad See Ew and Saigon Cafe has the best one I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a new place to try and anything on the menu interests you… definitely go!

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Ordered the half sandwich, half salad combo and was very impressed. The house salad was delicious and the Chipotle turkey sandwich was fresh and yummy! Highly recommend.

Place has been consistent for 10+ years. Food is always very good, salads are extremely fresh and I love the daily soups. Never had a problem with the staff. Good place to stop for take out if you’re in the area

I WISH this place could get orders done right! EVERYTIME we order from Globe Market the order is wrong. Sometimes its the wrong dressing on your salad, sometimes they forget to add the chicken you paid for to your salad, sometimes they add cheese to your sandwich when you requested NO cheese, the list of mistakes goes on and on. Not once have they gotten our order correct. On a good note - Everything is Fresh, tastes good and they offer tofu for your salad, unlike a lot of places. The homemade blue cheese dressing is the best Ive ever had and the Caprese Salad is amazing. If only they could get the orders right, we would order from their every day! Unfortunately we go elsewhere because of the constant mistakes.

The food is ok, prices are higher than serving sizes would indicate, and the men's bathroom is atrocious. One of the chefs is consistently occupying the 5 minute parking in back, and overall I'd rather go to Panera across the street, even though this place is local (not something I usually say).

Food was fresh and fantastic we came around lunch time on a Sunday and it was relatively busy however the food and drinks came out timely and was very good and beyond my expectations. The only complaint really is that the eating area is very small and can only accommodate so many people other than that the experience was awesome and I'd highly recommend and will be returning myself I got the Tori Paitem Ramen and my girlfriend had the tonkostu Ramen both were amazing and would highly recommend!

Good…but could definitely be better. I tried this place out last night with a couple of friends and to say it was worth it would be mixed. While I personally thought it was pretty good, the cold toppings made the ramen just not taste right, and the pricing is not the best. I mean $15.99 for a bowl of ramen is alright, but $7.99 for takoyaki is lowkey insane for me. Definitely planning on coming back regardless, but yk. In addition, their wall of artwork is quite cool too!

Compete lack of customer service, had to Keep getting up to request silverware, and a couple other things that were never brought to us. Nobody checks on you, you just sit there trying to get their attention while they play and joke around with each other over the food they're cooking. Food was pretty good except for the rubbery fish tasting crap loaded into my ramen (I ordered what I ordered because it didn't have seafood in it, but somehow still ended up there). Spent $70 for 2 people but feel like it should've been a $40 meal

Went with my wife as she was in the mood for some Ramen. She being a vegetarian ordered a Ramen and was not really impressed. I also wanted to get a chicken Don but couldn’t get it as they were out. I did get the Spicy Pork Don which was quite spicy even though I requested medium spice but I did enjoy it. Might give another location another try but not 100% sure. Also for seating it’s very casual and definitely not for large groups or personal conversation dates. Good place to just hangout or grab-an-go.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and quick. The University at Buffalo's South Campus is right across the street, making this establishment's atmosphere distinct from other area restaurants offering Japanese cuisine.

Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated almost immediately by a friendly hostess. The restaurant decor was traditional, lighting was dim with a fair amount of seating arrangements available. If I had a derogatory comment it would be the choice of music playing - I think something a bit more zen would be a more appropriate fit. But let's get to the part that everyone reads reviews for - THE FOOD! Combination Pho - rating: 7 out of 10 I ordered a small bowl and the portion size felt huge! The broth was rich and savory with a hint of sweetness, however; it lacked clarity which is essential to every great pho broth. The bean sprouts were by far the crispiest I have ever had in my lifetime. The thai basil was fresh and fragrant. The meat was a little overdone. In my opinion, it's easier to chew when kept on a medium rare scale. BBQ Pork Sandwich - rating: 9 out of 10 I ordered this sandwich as I know it to be a banh mi down in the south. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The bread was crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. The pork was seasoned well and had a hint of sweetness which complimented the fresh, crisp veggies perfectly. The only thing missing was lemongrass, which would have added a mild citrus flavor and ginger taste to balance it all together.

On Sunday, I went to Pho Lantern with my boyfriend. I have never been here and was craving the comfort of Vietnamese noodle soups! Just a head's up I do not have the photo on here of the chocolate lava cake and his chicken teriyaki Banh mi Coming: You can see all the beautiful tables that give date night vibes and decor! There are these cute lantern light chandeliers and that little serene space and I have a picture it as it is adorable and gives me the zen feels! I love it! At one of the tables, there's a little backdrop or picture on the wall of a beach and the sky. That's nice. Staff: Staff are welcoming and respectful. They gave us our menus (which are on the electronic tablets) and also asked us when we would like our dessert that I also didn't take a photo of because we ate it up! What we had: My boyfriend has the chicken teriyaki Banh mi with a fried egg on top and I had the Vietnamese chicken noodle soup! For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake. His reaction to the teriyaki chicken Banh mi: He saw the sandwhich came with vegetables and saucy chicken teriyaki and he dug in. He enjoyed it and felt quite full after finishing it. My review of the soup: This soup was really good. Chicken was soft and delicious (generous amount or portion). The broth was also good. The ingredients really give it that comforting taste and feel that makes you want to just go home and sleep or eat it while watching the moon or something. The noodles were very fine, soft, and easy to inhale. Every sip and bite was amazing. The noodles were endless too, because even though I ate alot of it, there was still alot of noodles and broth in the bowl as if I didn't eat alot lol. Great portions on that too. Our chocolate lava cake: It came with drizzles of chocolate sauce and it tasted kind of like a brownie. It was nice and warm like hug in the winter time. Great experience! Thank you!

Went last night for girls night and had a blast! We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival by a very lovely hostess. She took extra time to go over the most popular dishes and gauged what we would most likely enjoy. The Thai tea is light and refreshing and I recommend you try it. I had the rare beef Pho and omg, I have enough leftovers for at least two more meals. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. The atmosphere is well...comfortable and quirky. We were given time after our meal to catch up and laugh. By the time we left we knew we'd be back for more!!!

I glad my daughter brought us here. All the food was great. Service was good, people was nice. Pricing is not bad. One item 1/2 price each day. My fiancé had to leave me here while running over the Canadian border because I didn’t have my passport on me. I’m sitting at the restaurant right now and wanted to leave a review so I could look back and remember which Vietnamese restaurant in this area had this amazing food. The spring rolls, the chicken pad Thai and the chocolate lava cake were absolute magic. This is the best Vietnamese food I think I’ve ever had.

One of the worst service we saw. We ordered one Broccoli Cheddar soup, creamy tomato soup in a bread bowl. The bread we got on side was cold and hard like a rock. I asked to toast it at the kitchen, but their reply was we don’t do that here and you can do it on your own in the Owen. I didn’t even bother asking my bread bowl at this point. I expected a bit more from Panera regarding their customer service. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. And we were still eating around 8:50PM and one of the employee came in and said we have to leave in 5 minutes, but came back in 2 minutes asking to leave, We were half a way eating. This is very not ok. We had to carry half food in our hand and leave the place. He mentioned it is a corporate policy. Is this how corporate of Panera asking their employees to treat customers?? Very badly treated and extremely disappointed

I do not know what’s wrong with this place but we came in on Tuesday 9/16 at 7:30pm and it was off from the start. Trying to order they were out of every green- no lettuce, mixed greens, arugula, or cilantro. They were also out of the corn chowder soup and steak, among likely other things. It took 25 minutes to get our order and when we received it they had left the avocado out of my sandwich! Ugh I wouldn’t go back to this Panera

First off, they were out of like all of their greens, no cilantro, no spinach no lettuce. Whatever. Ordered my sandwich with extra avocado and paid for extra avocado, guess what? No avocado whatsoever so my sandwich is corn cheese and tomato. The bathrooms were dirty it took forever for the food to come out. I’ve heard bad things about this location. Will not be coming back to this specific location.

First time going to Panera. I know right it's crazy. Panerai been around for quite a bit I'd say, but I never gotten around to it till now! My friend got a bread bowl with broccoli and cheddar soup! It's her fave thing to get. Also she had the Mac and cheese. My first order was the barbecue chicken sandwich (half) with Mac and cheese and some chips. I was dismayed at it due to the lack of meat. Apparently, with hot sandwiches at panera, they require workers to only put 1 scoop of ingredients on the sandwiches for halves so consequently it looks like toast featuring the meat. However, the manager was very nice and understanding and made me a different sandwich instead because of my dissatisfaction of the sandwich. Very great customer service and kind workers. I really appreciate it! The turkey and cheddar sandwich was good! The Mac and cheese was rich and homey! I highly recommend it if you're gonna get anything from.panera it's gotta be the Mac and cheese! My friend and.i both enjoyed the lavender lemonade ! Very Very good I also recommend that for drinks! Lastly, I had the brownie which was good! Sorry I didn't take a photo of it! Overall, great experience! Thank you! 💜

I haven't even tasted my food. I waited close to 30 min for a half sandwich chips and smoothie while close to 20 folx were served in front of me an my name just kept going down on their Lil screen. If it was cuz I'm black an they don't want me to come back ✅️ mission accomplished

I ordered a salad on my lunch break, unfortunately the drive thru wasn’t moving fast enough so i had to leave without it. i came back after work and explained what happened, and Tony refunded me, remade my order and gave me a free cookie. he provided excellent service!

My girlfriend and I love stopping at this Panera. It has always seemed to be cleaner than any of the other locations I’ve been to in the area. Easy parking in this plaza. The food is consistently tasty at this location (especially the mac and cheese), and the employees are always kind! Needless to say we will be back soon when we are in the area !

My friends wanted grilled cheese but I can't have dairy so I was a little worried there was nothing that I could eat. However, even though I ordered a sandwich without cheese, it was soooo good. The flavors were rich and the sandwich was crunchy.

Just as good as imagined!! Been wanting to come here for a while and was not disappointed. Ordered the grilled cheese burger and it's 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with a whole damn burger patty and mad cheese on it. UPDATE: Just tried their Grilled Cheese Burger and it is absolutely amazing. If you're a cheese lover, this place is for you. Even if you're not, the BLT is the best one I've ever had. I go here all the time and have never been disappointed. Service is always super friendly and I really love that they expanded the dining area recently. I would recommend their soups, as they are always different and always delicious. If you haven't been yet, this is a must!

This place is a hidden gem! Such a delicious menu. They make their own condiments! Who does that? Serious yum. And really friendly owners. Don’t hesitate - go there! We had the house made black bean burger and the number 28. Both were amazing. The tomato basil soup was some of the best we had in a while. Looking forward to our return trip.

Cute hole in the wall type of a place! Ordered two grilled cheese both were delicious crispy and cheesy with a lot of flavor. Also ordered the tomato basil soup and that was 10/10. Loved it will be back!

Stopped in for no particular reason. Ordered the patty melt, and my partner got the #96. Both were hands down the tastiest sandwiches ever. Just big enough to be a solid lunch, but no sides or extra nonsense to ruin your dinner. And the caramelized onions were incredible!

The space is hidden away, but well worth "discovering". The vibes are cozy, warm, and inviting. The space is clean and open. Prices are good for a weekday lunch or a full date night, plenty bang for your buck here. Fun cocktail list and food comes out quickly. The beef lo mein was spectacular, with a sear and plenty of juiciness. The tofu also got a thumbs up for its texture! Will be excited to return soon

I mean, what can I say? I can say that the K Bread feature dish was one of the best breads I've ever had in my life. I say that with no embellishment. Next, the service was impeccable. Dana made sure that any allergy issues were handled to satisfaction. Next, she recommended the hand cut noodles which had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Seriously, every bite was delicious. I wanted to soak up the remaining juice with a piece of bread, but didn't want to seem gluttonous. I thank her for creating one of the best memories that I've ever had when it comes to food. The speakeasy atmosphere invites you to lounge, converse, and enjoy the time. Please do yourself a favor and come here as soon as you can. If you live outside of Buffalo, I would suggest taking a flight. It's that good.

It was very relaxed, super chill space. Small menu. I enjoyed the broccoli lo mein. The creme brulee was the star of the show. Very good.

Service and vibe is stellar. The food was lacking though. I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert and their drinks but their mains are either too salty, too soggy, too mushy. We might have ordered the wrong food but there wasn't much in the selection the begin with. This is also the reason why I am more disappointed with the quality.

Cool place, you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside. Staying in Buffalo by the stadium, there weren't lots of Asian options. Looked on Google maps and found this place. Pho was good. The waitress said it was Laos style Pho. Not a ton of meat in there like you would expect in a typical bowl of Pho. I wasnt too hungry so the medium bowl of pho was filling enough. Small menu, will have to try the stir fry lo mein next time.

Delicious Vietnamese rice noodles are far ahead of other restaurants. As a repeat customer of their family for so long, they still support the boss as always. Fresh shrimp rolls are also fresh and have a firm taste.

As a native Vietnamese who’s been in the States for 12 years and tried Vietnamese food from different states (CA, VA, MD, PA…) this is by far one of the BEST tasting and authentic restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to dine at. Keep up the good work!!!! I lived 2 and a half hour away but will definitely come back here often :)

Ordered take out! Super easy right on their website, picked it up ourselves. 10/10 recommend the vermicelli, we got the combo (shrimp, pork, and egg roll) and one with sausage. (I add an extra pork skewer to mine.. it's worth it!!) As well as two spring rolls, a shrimp and sausage. I've been coming here for years, and it's always great!

Not my first time here I’ve been here a few times before and the never disappoint just ordered the chicken pho and added shrimp omg so freaking good! The broth is so flavorful! And the short ribs does not disappoint!

Anytime I find Vietnamese restaurant with numbers with their name. They never disappoint me. Phó 88, 75, 83, and this time 99. Lol. They are all good. I'm happy to find this place while visiting Buffalo. Wish we have a restaurant like this in my neighborhood.

Ordered chicken with broccoli with lo mein - "No Taste Good" at all. My husband got fried Shrimp and pork fried rice - "No Taste Good" $45.00 down the drain..... This why I always go to to Kim's Kitchen on Ferry... This is the last time we go to "Taste Good" because is DOESN'T "Taste Good" at all. Worst Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. And the lady is mad rude... Always wanting to be skimpy on the sauces I ask for.. Like lady the whole case on Amazon is $12.99....

Food was fresh but didn’t taste good. Egg drop soup was bland/unsalted; broccoli beef had lots of gristle in the meat; sweet and sour sauce was just nasty; orange chicken was literally shaped like perfectly round meatballs - which made me question if it was really chicken - and not very flavorful; lo mein was good. Overall, I can say for sure, it didn’t taste good, the food was very disappointing, and I won’t be back.

I never complained about food before, but Order half chicken and they really burnt it to the point where the chicken has reached hell and really the guts to give it to me anyways.

If you are vegetarian or vegan this is probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Many options, most you won't find anywhere else. You will probably want to order to go. No ambience, but good affordable (compared to anywhere else) food.

That was the worst Chinese dish I have ever eaten in my life. The noodles taste like I eat them off their unclean floors. I was so disappointed that a restaurant I once eat regularly from has lowered their standards so much that I couldn't eat something I purchased from them. Taste so bad should be it's name instead of taste so good.. I wouldn't recommend eating from this restaurant until they improve their standards. I have been a loyal customer for many years i NEVER thought I would say DONT EAT THERE.

Restaurant was clean, the one girl working was very kind and accommodating, she checked with the cook to make sure things did not contain fish sauce and other animal ingredients (vegan). I had the yellow curry and it was tasty. The only thing that I would say was a negative - the menu no longer has Indian options like samosa and they also did not have sushi. Options were mostly Thai and Chinese. It would also be great and make it easier if things were labeled whether they are vegetarian and/or vegan so the server doesn’t have to check.

Found this hidden jewel, so close to home and I’m glad I got the chance to visit and share with my sweet and beautiful friends. This is a lovely all things Asian , family restaurant with Saw the amazing owner waiting on you hand and foot. He was so inviting, attentive, warm and friendly while we had our lunch. The food was super delicious and fresh. The complimentary items were a delightful miso soup and bottles of water on the house. No where else could you get that kind of compliments today. The prices are more than reasonable and the amount of food portions is excellent. I had the black dragon rolls as I am a lover of sushi , in addition to that I had a shared seaweed salad with sesame dressing- delicious. I’m going to bring my girlfriends here and highly recommend this local restaurant to everyone. It’s such a shame that so many of our family establishments have disappeared and been replaced by chains- to each his own. Let us support our local community and our eateries. Taste of Asia is certainly worth the trip and I will be returning to make it one of my favorites. Thank you Saw- I have seen you and appreciate your hospitality.

Where should I begin? My experience at this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. From booking the reservation for my 25th birthday to arrival, the entire process was seamless and pleasant. My friends and I were offered a private dining room with a TV to play music while we ate and celebrated this new chapter of my life. Every food item was flavorful, fresh, and made to perfection when it came out. We came in hungry and left completely full before heading to the club. The owner’s son is so polite and professional. While we were wrapping things up and preparing to cash out, the owner paid us a surprise visit and sung happy birthday to me. He even bought me a delicious birthday cake with my name! I was completely blown away. He told me the that he could sense my positive energy over the phone when I booked my reservation, and he wanted to make my day special; which he did. I felt so loved ❤️ I give this place a 100000/10. We’ll definitely be back again for the authentic Asian fusion cuisine!

Ming Café is cozy and has variety on the menu. The noodle dishes are so flavorful. You can tell each dish is made with care. If you don't like onions, let them know if you order sweet and sour chicken.

Never know when they will be open or closed. I heard some good reviews. We use to go to May Jen but they closed for Good I think. Too bad. But I went to Ming`s for take out. Got one order of beef and broccoli and one order of mango chicken. Plus two spring rolls. It shocked me that it came to $45 dollars. Wow!! So I paid and took the food home and ate it. If I could give just the food a rating, I would give it 5 stars. Very delicious. Fresh and good size. But the price was a bit too much for me. So only 4 stars.

Quality of food was high but if you’re in a hurry to eat or get somewhere this isn’t the place. Arrived at 7pm. Received our order at 8:15pm. One woman taking orders and waiting tables and one guy cooking. Other aspect is its cash only. And $7 for 1 pot of black tea. Again food quality was high. But pricy. For three people that split 2 dishes plus rice including tip $73 bucks. Next time we’ll get take out and order 1.5 hours before we eat.

This restaurant did have very nice ambition, but that’s about it. I was gonna give 3 stars out of sympathy. But that thought went away after 1 hour of waiting without a sorry. There are things worth waiting for an hour in your life; there are food worthy paying more than usual; you can find NEITHER in this restaurant. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was DELICIOUS. I’m from Ohio, and this place was cheaper but even better than my favorite place where I live. I tried to do some research on the best Chinese takeout spots around and this is what a bunch of people recommended, they were right. It’s too bad I probably won’t be back to Buffalo any time soon, I’d definitely be coming here often. We stopped in and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. And the man working the register was so kind too! :)

They actually have great Chinese food and it tastes better than other restaurants. This one is the best near the area in my opinion. Chicken wings have flavor, the rice has flavor and so does the brown sauce for the shrimp and broccoli. Overall great quality food.

We order Chinese food from here often. They offer great menu options, and they always treat us very well. I recommend them to anyone who wants to munch on somw tasty Chinese food, and not break the bank.

Food is great! BUT they make you wait for your food everytime. You can place your order over the phone, they tell you how long, but when you get there they dont start your order until you pay. You will be there at least an hour.

Been coming here 15 yrs the food is always good -only issue is when you call to order they always say 15-20min and it never been ready in less then 40min - so just wait longer to leave to pick up your food

Let me start by saying that Chinese food isn’t my top choice. I like it, but my companion loves it and could probably eat it every day. Luckily, we have plenty of options in the city to choose from. Every couple of months, when I’m in the mood for Chinese, we come here. The food is always hot, fresh, and cooked just right. They’re really generous with the extra egg rolls, and sometimes they throw in those sweet little donut treats too. The staff is super friendly, and they do appreciate when you pay in cash. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in North Buffalo looking for great Chinese takeout.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Buffalo. The vegetables they add are always really fresh tasting along with the rest of the food. Also I’d add their kids that handle the front register and orders are so well mannered and very respectful so they deserve recognition, and it’s a pleasure ordering from here because they are very honest and polite people and are obviously very good for the community overall. I would recommend them over any Chinese restaurant in the north Buffalo community. Great job China Star!

I ordered rib tips in black bean sauce. It's supposed to come with rice. I didn't get my rice. This is not the first time. I'm cooking my own rice to go with my rib tips. Usually I use the rice from another dish. That dish wasn't ordered this time. The purpose of ordering takeout is so you don't have to cook! I'll have to really think about ordering from here again.🤔

I ordered General Tso’s chicken and crab rangoon. Everything tasted old. I’ve never had such leathery and tough crab rangoon in my life. The chicken was extremely dry and the batter was soggy. Even the side of white rice tasted stale. The food tasted as though they microwaved old food. I didn’t finish my meal as it was that bad… Such a shame as I’ve had food from here before and never had a bad experience until now. Unfortunately will not be coming back. :(

Was craving this food last night..and after getting home with it, was total regret! My husband threw up after eating one steamed dumpling! The fried chicken was dry and over cooked! The rice was bland! And as far as the wonton soup, the wonton were all falling apart! Did I receive OLD FOOD? I wasted over 30 bucks on dinner...I truly miss the ORIGINAL China Star, their food was always FRESH.

The egg rolls were terrible they never put enough shrimp in them and they're super greasy. Last time they tasted spoiled. I had to throw it up so I wouldn't get food poisoning it was bad bad. The inside was purple and I thought o maybe they getting fancy using purple cabbage but it tastes retched .It took so long for me to get the taste of trash outta my mouth.This was definitely the last time I will ever buy anything from here. It's messed up because we've been going here for so long anytime we're in the area. Now I don't think I ever want another egg roll in my life ..just terrible. I don't know if I'll ever eat Chinese again but if I do I'll have to just go across town for something decent and edible. Something told me to been stop going there once I actually went inside for the first time..it's pretty unkempt to say the least.

Good Chinese food - but accepts only cash. Not much space to sit inside and to go can be prepared quickly. Parking is on the road side and looks like not in a safe area. Food tastes good and staffs are courteous.

They have some of the best hot and sour soup!!! I very highly recommend it, but do note that the crispy noodles on the side are pre-packaged and not refried and warm like some places do. Almost everything I've tried here is good, however I do not care for the sweet and sour chicken because it's too much dough in breading and I prefer a lighter for fluffy coating. Also the crab rangoons are a bit on the small side in my opinion.

Awful customer service and the place looks dirty

Used to love this place but recently every order I gotten food is bad, you can tell food was old and reheated or just plain done wrong. I asked for something they gave me the opposite and the person taking the order always has an attitude. It use to be a good place to eat but not any longer. Seriously if you the owner are reading this just sell the restaurant to someone who will care because obviously you don't any longer, being rude for no reason!

I feel bad to be giving them this rating since I’ve been coming here for years, but man this place has tanked!! Been a while since I ordered here so I decided today I’ll order the lunch special. I pulled up a little early and didn’t believe the reviews at first but they do still have the plastic on the chairs and plexiglass window up. But that’s not what made me bail out on the food. The smell of this place was insane so I imagined that the food could be good still, but be very unsanitary since they don’t keep up on anything else in this restaurant. Oh, and with the older gentleman came out, his teeth were completely black.

Ordered veggie tempura and the veggies were so mushy and it was so greasy the oil was dripping off when I picked it up. More food for the trash can. Dpent $60 on our food what a waste! I Will definitly Not be returning. Gave 1 star fir service because I requested 2 sides of peanut sauce and did not get them.

Second try of takeout. I ordered lemon chicken, which I returned because there was nothing lemon about it. I thought they made an error in my order. It looked like General Tao chicken But no, that was the lemon chicken. Then my daughter had curry, which was so watery although flavorful just not like the Indian curry I’m used to Maybe they should stick to straight Asian I’m disappointed because I live right down the road, but I won’t be going back

If you normally eat “Soul” food this is not it! My food was funky so funky that I couldn’t finish eating it due to the smell. It was weird tasting and nasty, no seasoning. I was left with an after taste and smell that made me want to vomit 🤢. Service was quick and my food was hot, I will give them that but that’s it!

Friendly service, amazing quality food and in efficient time. If you’re ordering a curry and not used to heat ask for mild! Seriously delicious!!!! The mango black rice desert is phenomenal and I highly recommend. Sushi comes with 8 pieces (I ate one before I took the photo) and I took a photo of the desert after a bite as well.

After traveling all over south east Asia, I’ve been craving Thai cuisine since being home and this restaurant has satisfied those cravings. I often purchase their fried rice and pad see ew noodle dish. They are very consistent and great flavor profile.

Food here is always great! It is awesome to have authentic Burmese food in downtown Buffalo. Everything I tried here has always been on point and never disappoints. The flavors are bold and the portions are great! My go to is the Pad Kra Pao. You have to be cautious though when you say you want your food spicy. If you want to control your spice level I recommend getting your food with medium spice and asking for chili flakes on the side. Will come back again and again!

With a 4.6 rating on Google we expected a delicious meal but we were very disappointed. While the waitress was very nice and welcoming, we didn't find the food satisfying at all. The papaya salad was just okay and the other two dishes tasted bad to us (although the four shrimp in one of the dishes were tasty). Other people rave about the food so maybe we just didn't pick good choices??

Great food. Poor customer service. After getting the menu I sat waiting for about 15 minutes. I had to get up and go over to find the waitress who was sitting with a friend gossiping at the end of the counter. They didn’t have the mango sticky rice which I was looking forward to. I finished my meal and not once in the 30 to 45 minutes that I was there did the Young waitress come to check on me. She had glasses and seemed very young. I got up went to find her again at the counter and she brought over a portable point of sale machine for me to pay. I asked for to go containers. She had me pay first in her viewing and she watched over the screen as I selected what type of tip to give. I felt compelled to give a 15% tip even though she did not earn it. The green curry although delicious looked like something fresh out of a cows udder ruminated and then released back into our world. The presentation left much to be desired. It’s interesting how businesses charge $20 for an appetizer and entrée yet pay so little attention to customer service.

Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.

I got bourbon chicken and lo mein. For lunch was 18$. Too expensive, and the bourbon sauce on the chicken was a white sugary sauce with the consistency of hand soap. Not good

I ordered a large pork fried rice and a combination platter with pork fried rice. I received only the combination platter and the rice had no pork in it. This restaurant advertises pork fried rice on the menu. They must mean pork flavor because there was not pork! I will never order from them again. The won’t have a 3rd time to play in my face!

I found this place by searching pk restaurant, ordered some grill lamb with naan, food was cold inside super hard, spices were not even cooked well, no idea how they cooked but definitely not in flame. There was large rock like object that I bite on the naan, as I showed to the waiter he seems very normal came from the tanduri, no concered hurting my teeth. Offered me another naan, by that time I loose my appetite to eat. Price is highest in Buffalo may be even Manhattan, thats still fine if having some quality.

I would say the best Desi food in Buffalo. My wife and I opened Iftar here and ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Shish Kebab and Beef Haleem and everything was fantastic. Hope this place continues to succeed will definitely come back with more of my family!!

Our second time eating here. Ordered chicken 65, lentil soup, lamb bhuna and chicken dopiaza with bullet and cheese naans. Everything was perfect. Really cozy atmosphere, a places to pray salah and proper restroom. A wonderful family friendly place 10/10

I've gotten take out here several times over the years and we finally dined in over the weekend. This restaurant is spotless and the smell of cooking is very mild. The people working are happy to explain the menu and customize your food! They explain if something will take a bit longer. They make sure you are satisfied with what you have. THE FOOD! The food is so good. We had a Kabab, a Kashmiri chicken and a beef biryani. They were all excellent and just as ordered. Of course we had naan and that was nice as well. It was served cut and in a basket. It's rare to get a good meal with such care for under $20 a dish. We had enough of each to take home with us. I can't recommend this place enough. I always take pictures. This food was so good I forgot. 😃

Me and my brother went out for lunch. Found out there was an Indian restaurant around the block and decided to give it a try. This food absolutely blew any expectations we had out of the water. The Vindaloo was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. Lamb Biryani was absolutely phenomenal steamed to perfection in a clay pot. I’ve had a decent amount of Indian food and this was the best I’ve had in my life. Made for an amazing lunch. The owners were in house and showed us great hospitality throughout as well.

Authentic and delicious Chinese food. The Northeastern dishes are excellent, and the lady boss is warm, friendly, and beautiful. The dumplings are handmade, with generous filling and juicy broth. The pickled cabbage is homemade and naturally fermented.

Home Taste is my go-to spot for delicious dumplings! I’ve tried every variety they offer—shrimp and pork, Napa cabbage, and more—and each one is always amazing. You get a generous portion for the price, and the quality never disappoints. On my last visit, I tried the green beans with pork tenderloin for the first time, and they were phenomenal—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the service is always friendly. It’s a great local spot, and I’m always happy to return. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Just not my speed. Only thing that was bad was the ramen. The meat was tough and the broth was bland. I added salt and chili paste to make it palatable. The General Tso Chicken wasn’t what I was expecting at all. It was a sour sauce and no spice. It didn’t taste bad just not what I wanted. I asked for crispy chicken and it was soggy. Literally one piece of broccoli. Crab Rangoon was good but the sauce was not. I would have taken it back but didn’t want to go back out in the rain.

Whole in the wall place with authentic Chinese food in Kenmore. The scallion pancakes and spicy chicken were the stars of the show. Dumplings were good and the steam buns were tasty, but could have used a little more filling. Fair prices and the food doesn't take too long to be made.

Detour 15 min from freeway. Actual price about $0.5 to $1 higher than the menu. Food tasted ok. But 韭菜盒子 really disappointing. So small.

Great little place with amazing food and friendly service. Based on other reviews, we ordered the spicy chicken w. Red peppers (n.43). It was delicious! I hate saucy chicken dishes, and this was perfect. No sauce, perfect amount of spice, crunch and saltiness. We also ordered n.42(shredded pork and scallions) which was so delicious and a cozy dish. The dumplings and buns were also great! Remember to order your steamed rice separately as the dishes do not come with it. Will be back!

I went here one time very hungry with my friend. The food was amazing and is at a very good price. I had no stomach issues after spending $70 here. Highly recommend the crab Rangoon

As a side note I was a chef for 3 years. I try not to leave bad reviews but I have to speak up this time, tried this place when I was super hungry so my standards started pretty low. Started with the general tso's chicken, I was quickly unimpressed. Super bready, and strange flavor to the breading. And the sauce was more sweet than anything. Broke open a few pieces and it seems like it's shredded chicken rolled in dough and then fried... Figured that the rice couldn't be that disappointing so I went for it and boy was I wrong, tasted like it was in a cardboard box or way too long before being made... Last but not least I am super thankful I ordered a side dish of steamed broccoli because the broccoli that came with the chicken was practically raw still... The service was awesome and friendly

Their food used to be really good, the quality and taste has gone down rapidly. The only good part of my meal was the iced tea and even that was a very small portion. Tin tin sells the same kind of lemonade for the same price and you get a great quart size portion.

China King has become our go to place for Chinese food. They offer good size portions at very reasonable prices. We have never been disappointed with the quality of our food. My personal favorite is the Happy Family with fried rice.

Food was Excellent, very clean and very kind. Highly recommend, my pregnant fiance said this is the best Chinese food she's ever had. General Tsos tasted better than Panda Express

This place is inhumane and unsanitary. I ordered shrimp with pork fried rice before I ate the shrimp I looked at it. It was literally feces in my shrimp. When I called and asked them nicely for a refund or if I could get a different meal they refused. They told me they don’t clean their food and I would have to deal with it. So I immediately called the health department and contacted the police. When I showed up to their establishment the door was locked. They put up boxes all around their windows and barricaded themselves inside. I could smell them still cooking outside. They did all of this over 19$. So if you care about your health, I would not recommend you to eat here.

Overall, a very average experience, the prices are very reasonable, but the food and sauces were kind of bland. Not too impressed probably won’t be going back.

General tso chicken white meat. Is that what I have, or is this sweat and sour chicken in a different sauce? I called and was told it's similar but not the same as the chicken used for sweat and sour because they both are white meat. I've ordered white meat for general tso elsewhere, and it was not breaded, so I'm just disappointed and a bit hungry still. I took the breading off a couple of pieces so you can decide if you like may like it.

One time I ordered I had a live bed bug in the container with the fried shrimp I ordered. I told them to give me a refund and they insisted no refunds and said they’d make me something else. I eventually got a refund and Never ate here again

I frequently go to the China Kitchen at least 2-3 a month and never disappointed! Their whole chicken wings are great! Courtesy and friendly staff and their menu is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌

Though this restaurant only opened 2 weeks ago, I’ve heard great things about it, so I stopped by to check it out..The location is very large (ample seating to accommodate a big party, while not making the other small groups wait - kind of large). The menu is extensive - lots of vegetarian options as well as the classic Vietnamese dishes, from noodles and rice to soups and stir fries. I ordered a grilled pork banh mi, since I had stopped by spontaneously after dinner. The flavors of the pork was amazing. Very well marinated, made to order so the meat was still hot and dripping in delicious juices. You could tell they didn’t skimp on the flavor because, that lemongrass? 👌🏼👌🏼 boosted the flavor profile. I can’t compare this to what my mom makes, but it definitely made me cry a bit on the inside eating this as it was pretty damn good. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu! Warning: street parking is not great, but if you’re lucky like me, you can snag one right in front of the store

Nothing fancy in terms of interior design, but the food was excellent and the staff members were attentive. Large bowls of pho arrived at our table quickly with a hefty plate of add ins (sprouts, herbs, etc).

Really enjoyed the food I had here. Had great vegetarian options and a lot of them! I had the Vegetable Pho with tofu along with the tofu egg rolls. Strongly recommend and will return when in the area!

Food was very good. I just wish the owner knew more about service dogs and their rights. My service dog was quietly under the table when I was refused service. I stood my ground and was able to have a nice meal. Now any business can refuse business if a dog makes a mess or acts up by barking or chewing. She was doing neither. Hopefully they learn from this experience and read the ada section about service dogs.

Lo mein was superb; sweet and sour chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside; all of the chicken (general tso's, hunan) was amazing. The fried dumplings weren't crispy enough, but that could be them steaming themselves on the way home, and they're so inexpensive I couldn't be mad. Simple fix to just crispen them up in a pan at home. Great, friendly staff. Cash only, but cash is king, so it's not a big deal, some of the best places to eat are cash only. Food was ready very fast. 9/10 fast food chinese.

I recently dined here and sampled the curry, Thai tea, and calamari. The curry was satisfactory, offering a well-balanced blend of flavors and spice. However, the presentation of the curry was monochromatic and lacked vibrancy. While aesthetics such as color are primarily for visual appeal, they also enhance the dining experience. I was disappointed by the rice serving size, which was quite small and left me with an excess of curry for another meal. The potatoes were well-prepared, but the thinly sliced chicken was tough and dry. The Thai tea had a pleasing flavor but was excessively sweet for my taste. The calamari was the most disappointing aspect of my meal; the batter failed to adhere to the rings, and there was an excessive amount of oil in the container. Furthermore, the calamari was flavorless, without even a hint of salt or pepper to elevate its taste.

I got take out for lunch at work from here. They said a wait time, and it was very accurate. The service was friendly, and the location is good. I got the sweet and sour fish with sticky rice. It had veggies in it and tender white fish. The sauce was sweet, but not too sweet. And you can get it in varying spice levels, I got mild. And the sticky rice was actually sticky, not like other places that say it is and then it falls apart. It was enough for two meals and reheated to be just as good as the first time. The chicken spring rolls were really tasty as well, hand rolled and stuffed to the brim, I got mine with sweet chili sauce. I will definitely be back!

Had an order ( $122 ) that was all wrong and I called for them to correct it, instead they said they would issue a refund. Refund never came, called to follow up a week later and was then yelled at and hanged up on by a very rude employee. Suffice it to say the weekly orders are a thing of the past and I will recommend Water Lily and Kani to anyone who asks and will certainly let then know Yummy Thai isn’t it..at all.

Always an excellent choice for a meal. On the last visit we had a coconut shrimp appetizer followed by a curry with chicken and Peanut King with pork. Both dishes were medium hot, but probably will bump it up to hot next time. Highly recommend both locations.

Good delivery timing (within 45 mins!) Food was warm upon arrival. Drunken noodles were “medium spicy” not spicy at all just a little kick of flavor. ❌Only problem was the way they packaged the Thai Iced tea, they wrapped it with a bit of cling wrap and some of it was already spilled out when I took it out of the bag. The tea tasted great though! 📍Would maybe order from them again (The delivery cost and prices of items has me double thinking ordering again). Might visit the restaurant soon though!

Food want in the trash bag, nastiest shrimp lo maine I have ever had. Shrimp fried rice 99% rice very very little shrimp dame with the shrimp lo main. Yep will never order there again. Leasoned learned. One of the worst food places we have ordered from in this area. It's a shame so hard to find good Chinese food or any other good places to eat at in this area. This food is disgusting and I’ll probably never eat there again but that’s what I get for not reading the reviews before I went in I mean look at the picture shrimp old sauce brown rice very bad tho only thing that was decent was the eggroll and even that was a solid 2 out of 5 I highly recommend nobody goes here at all big thumbs down 🤢🤮

I never leave bad reviews, but unfortunately I feel the need to this time. I ordered general tso, veggie lo mein, crab Rangoons, and two bottles of Diet Coke from this restaurant off of DoorDash. They refunded me for the lo mein, because I guess it was “out of stock”?! Once I got the food, the crab Rangoons tasted really odd, the general tso tasted old and freezer burned and both of the bottles of Diet Coke were expired back from October of 2023… I didn’t notice until I drank from the bottle and it tasted completely foul. Everything was disgusting. I instantly threw out the entire meal and wasted a lot of money.

I sincerely wish I could give this place less than one star. The pictures provided are my "quart" of Kung Po "chicken", which had less than 8 gross little flabby pieces of meat, about the size of a quarter. The crab rangoons I ordered were smaller than my fortune cookie (which was also stale), and had very little, and sometimes no filling, that was ice cold. Please please please, if you see this review turn away, I've lived in this city for 20 years and have never had worse food than this. Anything you order from anywhere would be better than this.

One of the worst places I have ever been to never in my life have I got this type of customer service I asked for noodles and got rice and then I went back to get noodle and I didn’t ask for shrimp and they gave me rice and when I called to tell them the manager there lied to me and said this is not the restaurant and when I called again and told him that it was me and he said the noodles doesn’t come with chicken only shrimp which he lied again never in my 20 years of living have I got bad customer like this ever in my life I will never be returning to place as long as I live horrible place to eat would not recommend service is really bad and when I went back to take the rice back he said he would not take it and I had to take to him to get the noodles Just for it to be wrong I would never recommend to anyone and will never be coming back.

This place is horrible to say the least. So dirty inside. Very cold, I don't think they can afford heat. Shrimp fried rice, horrible. Shrimp egg foo young.. I believer they used dried potatoes to fill them and the egg rolls were so greasy. First, our order was sent out the door to someone else, they told me it wasn't touched. After paying $40.00 I felt robbed. Got home, they called to say they forgot to give us the chicken wings we ordered. I can't eat this food, I am going to have it inspected.

I don't see what all these 1-star reviews are complaining about. This is a pretty typical Chinese takeout joint, not PF Chang's. The flavors are supposed to be mild so you can add condiments to your taste. The decor is going to be outdated and the kitchen is going to be messy. The workers aren't buttering you up like you're local royalty. You're paying <7 dollars for a lunch special, it comes with the territory. I'm eating this place extra high to make their rating closer to what it should be. Pros: They are pretty generous with meat and vegetables in the noodles, low prices, open late, really thick egg drop soup with plenty of yolk (I personally don't like eggs, this was my roommate's compliment) Cons (kind of): the sweet and sour sauce is mostly ketchup. I guess that is typical in some regions, but it is kind of hard to turn it into the sweeter more pineapple-y flavor one might be used to. Not much beverage variety.

Absolutely incredible family-owned Burmese/Thai hidden GEM--that can be so easy to miss. Very simple decor. A husband/wife duo run this restaurant--they deserve an award. The Fish Noodle soup is to die for--excellent portions, & fair price for the quality you are getting. Not to mention the avocado smoothie was SO good. Fried rice was incredible as well--love how they incorporate chick peas into the dishes--very delicious. 5/5 you don't want to miss out on this hidden gem. Protect this place at all costs! Cant wait to try more.

This is my first time at this place. When I walk in, there are no guests sitting down so i was alone and the owner well who i think is the owner came out of the kitchen and thought I had ordered something. I eventually ordered something and he himself took the order and then went back to the kitchen. So he is a chef and he a cashier and does delivery by himself! Much respect and I gave him a small tip . Place is small. I don't think there are any bathrooms in there though I never got up to check. So for the atmosphere I'm giving it a 3 star. It isn't bad but just very empty therefore kinda uninviting. I ordered the beef curry which comes with white rice, pork dumplings, cheesecake, and a strawberry smoothie. Smoothie was definitely real as in they used real strawberries and it wasn't drowned in fructose syrup. With that being said, it wasn't super sweet, but just right especially with the food I ordered. Very hardy food i ordered. It was refreshing and a nice texture so that is a mega plus! The dumplings were also good and savory. Dunno what kind of sauce that was but if it was soy sauce, it definitely wasn't your typical soy sauce. It wasn't super salty and sour. It was comforting really! The Beef curry was hardy and good and had a wonderful sweet aroma to it too, but there definitely needed to be more sauce. The curry was more so big chunks of beef than anything else. It The cheesecake was good. They didn't have strawberry or raspberry sauce so they'd used chocolate sauce. The cheesecake itself was thick and it wasn't really cold so I'm wondering if it was a fresh batch or whatever i dunno but it wasn't too rich for me to not be able to finish it all so I love that. Everything was good. I don't really have any complaints. I will be back but next time I may just do take out or bring a friend who likes Thai food cuz being alone kinda sucked a little bit you know. We were on a vacation to Niagara falls and stopped on the way at this fantastic place. I don't know if this place is underrated, but it's really worth trying. We had a dine-in and the customer service was amazing. The food was super cheap and the quality of food was amazing. We ordered a bunch of food: sushi, noodles, wonton soup, general TSO chicken 🐔, duck, samosa.. Everything was amazing and so delicious. Fresh meat, great flavor and the food was ready within minutes. I believe it's a family run business, they were friendly and it was nice to sit there and have some great food. The location where it was situated looked odd as if the neighborhood is not well developed (saw some posters on car theft). This restaurant really surprised me with the location and quality and price of the food. Definitely a must place to visit 👍👍👍👍

We got Thai Family take out tonight for dinner. They were really good about making sure we got our vegan meal, they were very accommodating. We got Pad Kee Mow, which didn't really have much taste. But everything else we got was REALLY good. We ordered a Thai fried noodle but got Burmese noodles, but they were REALLY good so we weren't mad. The Pad See Euw was pretty good. The best thing we got was the basil fried rice with a giant fried egg. If we went back I'd definitely get the Fried Rice, it was soooooo good.

The food was really good! I ordered the crispy tofu salad and vegetable stir fry and vegetable curry it was very tasty and flavorful… I forgot to make pictures but the food was really good… the only down side was I dined in and the server sucked, she was not friendly did not check on us to see if we needed anything, but I would definitely get my order to go next time…

I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken (10.99) and the pork wontons ($6.50) and was not disappointed. The pad Thai was flavorful and the medium spice level was what I expected (definitely want to go back for hotter levels). There was a good amount of chicken in the dish and the noodles were not over cooked. The wontons were wontons and came with a sweet-and-sour sauce basically something I’ve had it lots of other restaurants but that wasn’t a bad thing because they tasted great. I ordered my meal to-go so I can’t comment on the dine-in service, but the staff were prompt and attentive when I came to grab my order and it look like a pleasant place to grab a quick meal. Will return to try many more things on their menu. Very reasonable prices.

I ordered takeout here and asked like 10 times for them to make sure there was no eggs, nuts ( due to my nephews allergy) and no meat well 75% of my $120 order had at least one. They was suppose to send someone with the right order by that was 3 hours ago. I mean what I could eat was good but they messed my order up BIG time!

this is the worst Chinese food I ever had I don't know how in the world they are in business the lady barely speaks English and is extremely nosy, the chicken was dry and stringy the rice is like sand they over charge for that garbage. it had no flavor at all they are cheating the people that come there. I am so disappointed because it was my first time there and last. this nasty place deserves no stars. apparently, they think they can serve this trash to anyone but not me never will I return.

I ordered sesame chicken and it tasted good but I regretted it i had the feeling like i had been poisoned and I felt nauseous. I don't know if it was poisoned or it was bad chicken or how the person cooked it but I definitely regret ordering from here

I never write these but I feel these other review are fake because I went here for the 1st time this wknd and the food lacked in flavor but they did give me lots of rice but not enough beef broccoli and the crab raggon was terrible, it was cabbage raggon with a hint of crab meat. Don't think I'll be back. Also they don't deliver and you can't even sit and eat cause they have no tables

Their food is pretty decent depending on who's cooking but if it's at night they definitely need to make sure that they're changing their oil in the fryers before making people's food because I ordered some chicken wings and they looked fine but I ordered some chicken gizzards and for some reason those were very dark like they were cooked in old oil I was not happy with that!!!!

Fried rice was plain. Lo Mein was ok. They have bourbon chicken, which a lot of places don't have. Edit: pork fried rice was rice, onions and what seemed to be lunch meat ham, nothing else. Egg rolls were hard. Not crispy, but Hard.

If you can't understand English you shouldn't be taking orders. Three orders three screw ups. The worst Chinese I've tasted. New China lol got old grandparents cooking who don't have taste buds themselves. What hurts the most is I didn't get the value of the dollar.

The pineapple chicken here is so delicious! I also enjoyed their seafood meals here, they have perfect rice and really good homemade egg rolls. The bourbon chicken is a definite crowd pleaser here. Overall much better than Taste Good, bigger portions and better customer service.

This was horrible 2times buying from this location new china on Marshalls plaza next to subway the first time I bought from here was not bad first time. The food here is very bad quality and taste compared to all other Asian cuisines. Would not recommend and definitely would not eat here again. They also forgot one of my dishes and did not include fortune cookies with any order. The dumplings were undercooked and had some type of tasteless white meat in it instead of pork...The noodle/soup dishes were all undercooked as well, and extremely bland! The egg drop soup was flavorless, barely had any eggs in it, and was a dark amber color indicating over cooked and leftover oil plus water. Ended up throwing out 80% of all the food we ordered. Very disappointed.

A dated American-Chinese takeout place in the infamous East Side of Buffalo. This place is cash-only, and the sweet & sour chicken lunch special combo I ordered is supposed to come with pork fried rice, but there was no pork in it. The store itself has two tables to sit at and a counter where food is served.

I gave them a five star because I've been going here since I was little and the food is always up to par. The family is cool I'm getting to know the kids too watch them grow cooking my food. I wish they did have tofu here they don't so if they read this think about that. The Chinese spot on Delaware and main Street where Canisius is they tofu is out of this world and since you're close to home I want you to be just like that if not better. my family and everybody family is love this place and they know me by name so they get a five just for saying hi Mrs. Claudia what you need today. If you thinking about something to eat try this place out have a beautiful day and a Happy New year 2021.🤗☺️💪💯

Scam and over priced. I usually don’t write reviews but this has to be the most ridiculous Chinese food place. Bought 10$ general tso chicken gave like 6 piece chicken. Unbelievable. Also bought Lo Mein the first time I have seen they give half the box rice who eats lo mein with rice tf??

The Cafe is a nice, little charming spot with street parking all around. I got the 'Red and Black' soup with Black-eyed peas, onions, tomatoes, and Gochujang (a red chilli paste). It was delish and the perfect thing to warm you up on a cool, winter day for lunch. It was flavorful and the added croutons were the perfect compliment! I tried their signature bean dip and tasted great to dip my tortilla chips or pita bread I'm sure as well. I even added a little to my soup! To wash it all down, I also got the Gadot Mint Lemonade and it was very refreshing and not to sweet or tangy. It was just right.

The staff were friendly and the sandwich was good, I’d definitely have it again! The bread was delicious and fresh. I had to wait a bit which was fine by me because it was a beautiful day to sit out on their patio. Turns out my first sandwich became a bit charred, so they made me a new one - and it was worth the wait. And they gave me a complimentary cupcake to take along, which was unexpected and very much appreciated! I haven’t had the cupcake yet, however based upon other reviews I’m sure it will be great. And to drink, I had the mint lemonade which was not overly sweet, just the way I like it.

This place is exactly what I crave from a lunch spot. We ordered the vegan meatloaf, the banh mi (with pork meatballs), and the mediterranean salad. Everything was fresh, well-portioned, and delicious. The staff were super friendly and the service was quick. Lots of regulars popping in and I can understand why. I'll definitely be back!

The food and atmosphere were great. We ordered the Lucky breakfast sandwich and Hi, Hand Pie. The sandwiches were filling and the crust especially on the hand pie was delicious - flaky, but didn’t crumble and didn’t dry your mouth out. The owners are very community-focused, partnering with local farms. This was our first time ordering and they were extremely welcoming. We even got a little lesson on Dingus Day, which we’ll hopefully be able to participate in next year!

The food and the ambiance is just perfect. I had the Lucky on a Roll and coffee. Both were delicious and the coffee was really smooth. This is my new favorite spot in Buffalo! Shout out to Kevin!! He's awesome :)))

Stopped by with my kids while on a walk and had a lovely experience and delicious food! I’m excited to have this cafe in the neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my picky six year old’s requests, which was great. Also, I was pleasantly surprised with just how delicious the “hand pie” was! It is vegan, and while I am devout omnivore, it was absolutely wonderful and very satisfying.

I recently ordered takeout here, and it was great. I had the borscht and the West Side Polka sandwich - both were delicious. Very tasty and satisfying. And everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable, and really dedicated to satisfying their customers. Highly recommended.

I ordered take out. The fried rice was flavorless, and I don't think it can legally be called "fried" as it wasn't; see photo. The ramen should have a soft boiled egg, which pairs nicely with broth. A hard boiled egg does not. The chashu pork for the ramen was far too thick to enjoy, cut inconsistently, and not braised. The broth was good though. The gyoza was undercooked and the filling was akin to freezer gyoza from the store; but that could just be mine and my friends tastebuds. I do not like freezer gyoza. The ramen was packaged for takeout better than SATO does, and was much fresher here.

The West Side Bazaar is the most authentic and flavorful experience in our city. At Thangs I had the #2 Tom yum ramen which was by far the best bowl of ramen I have ever had. I am usually heavy on the sriracha but there was absolutely no need. The level of spice was exquisite.The dish was filled with TONS of seafood including prawns, clams, oysters and calamari. I highly recommend everyone to visit often.

Delivered late worth the wait highly recommend the kimchi fried rice its amazing will order again ramen beautiful generous portions. Ordered threw Uber eats

Very nice food, great place for ramen.

I ordered spicy chicken ramen to go. The portion size was amazing, allowing me to eat it for multiple meals. The chicken and all the accompanying ingredients were great quality too. I wish I had thought to ask to add on a tip when I paid over the phone. For the quantity and quality, this was a great deal.

They have the BEST shrimp fried rice ever....It's so fresh, w/large shrimp, you don't need anything added to it!! It's always piping hot, even when served to go...the miso soup they serve is so clean and simple... amazingly tasty!! The chef is very kind and welcoming. A fave! I go here for lunch often, do try❣

I absolutely love their ramen but I think they should do soft boiled eggs instead of hard boiled eggs. That is my one and only complaint. The eggs are over cooked. I do love every ramen I’ve had though. My favorite is the spicy chicken ramen!
