We ordered the steam buns, short Rib noodles, dragon roll sushi, and charred octopus. Food looked delicious upon arrival at our table. My appetizer I ordered was the bomb dot com no lie. My appetizer was potatoes with some kind of sauce that I was sketchy about, but it was really really good! My meal which was the salmon was just ok to me because the salmon was not seasoned well. My sister and I got the sake flight and most of the flavors that the bartender surprised us with were pretty good except for 2. My sister has the smoked brisket and she overall it was pretty good because you could taste how smoky the brisket was. My friend had the charred octopus and he said it was definitely very charred on the outside but he liked that the inside was soft. I would go back to this place again because overall it was a good experience and the food was good.

It took us a while to find the actual building because the area is pretty empty and looks almost abandoned. We eventually found the parking lot where everyone else parked their cars. This is the kind of place where to not judge a book by it’s cover because we has a fantastic meal here! We started out with the Tempura, it was good but just a tad bland. But obviously we didn’t come here for that, we came for the sushi. My husband got two rolls, Kiss of Fire (Tuna, Hamachi and Avocado topped with Seared Tuna, Jalapeño, Spicy Mayo, Chili, Habanero Tobiko), and Heaven & Hell (Albacore and Avocado topped with Massage, Spicy Tuna, Jalapeño, Crumbs, Spicy Mayo, Chili). These were the two I pointed out for him and he really enjoyed them. It’s usually hard for us to come across a sushi restaurant where they have spicy rolls that don’e include cream cheese or anything fried because he’s really not a fan of those in his sushi. I got Koi Kawa Sushi set that had 9 pieces of Nigiri, and I loved everything about it! The fish was fresh and they were a decent size for the price. This has got to be at the top of my list of favorite sushi restaurant in TX, so we will most definitely be back!!

The food was ok, and Sashimi was good. The appetizers were a little off. It is a good Mid Sushi spot. The ambience is very fun and friendly. You order up front and pick up your food. Though very small, it is a very personable space. Because it’s compact, you may have to sit with someone you don’t know and they state that. However they bring a positive perspective as to you may meet a new friend there. The food… omg what can I say. I got the Hell Spicy Ramen. It did not disappoint. It had a couple different levels of spiciness. I got the 4 as I like a little heat but still want to enjoy the flavor. I can say while the heat was up there for my taste. I can say the ramen had bold and savory flavors. I couldn’t stop eating the broth despite being a little too spicy for me. I still thought it was amazing. I will try the level 3 next time. My kids got the shoyu and tonkotsu and those were very flavorful as well. All three had a marinated egg that was by far one of the bests that I had. Everyone in my party loved theirs. I overheard someone order and they requested an extra egg as well. I told my oldest son and he agreed that next time he would do the same and request an extra as well. Talked to the owner as we left and she was friendly as well. Told her we had a great experience and would be back. In a town that sometimes finding Asian flavors is tough compared to Chicago, LA, Houston or Austin. I would say that this place does amazing and I am sure they would do great in areas like those.

We’ve been here a couple times in the past and it was excellent, but the quality has significantly gone down. We came on a Saturday night before a show in the Tobin, and when we sat we were surprisingly the only table in the entire restaurant. There were 4-5 tables at most by the time we left. Not sure why all the fake pity five star reviews are on here. This place is currently one star. It's under mass construction right now so half of the store is missing, literally. They have super unfriendly maze like aisles set up that lead to dead ends with no way out , or connect to other areas. I realize it's heavily being remodeled but you don't do this to your customer. Very annoying for shoppers and people with disabilities. Honestly, the food wasn't that great either. Was looking forward to getting something from their large chef cooked pre made meals and all the stuff was bland as hell-o ( stuffed potato, meatloaf, and meat balls). I sware the meat blend for meat balls and meat loaf tasted exactly the same. The sushi was ok and so was the pizza. It was even difficult to get some chocolate cupcakes. The beer aisle was lacking as well. Friendly staff at least. I don't plan on returning here as they lost me for a lifetime customer. You can do a lot better than this HEB. It used to be a fun place to walk thru and explore.

As for the food I ordered the chicken fried rice and it was honestly really good! It wasn't dry like most places I've gone and the portion they serve you is enough for two people. We also went ahead and ordered two drinks, we had the mango smoothie with the rose pop and the passion fruit milk tea with rose pop, they were both very good and if you like sweet then these two drinks are worth a try. It maybe took about 10 minutes to get our order so we didn't wait to long for it, so that was a plus as well. All in all I will be giving this place another try and I really am looking forward to trying some of their other menu items.

I love it here. Victoria is the one of the best leasing professionals I've ever rented from. She's very intelligent, very communicative and is always on top of things. The property is nicely maintained on a regular basis. Parking can be a pain at times but it's 2024 so it's expected. They do have garages you can rent plus you can do maintenance etc within them. It's peaceful, no thru traffic whatsoever. The apartments are super nice and much larger than what you see in pics. Hardwood floors are just so much nicer to look at and maintain! I feel the cost to value is on point. In fact, I will have no trouble accepting an increase when my lease ends. They use a new payment app for rent and it's cool. You can earn points for paying your bills and use them locally. I feel it has great potential in the long run. If you're looking for a hidden gem (and this one literally is) this is the place to be!

This place is amazing! Definitely happy with calling this place my home. Liliana and Victoria are extremely understanding and caring which makes for a great experience. They're the best!! The community is overall very quiet and peaceful which makes it 10 times better. Everyone sticks to them self's and minds their own business. No porch thief's either!! I appreciate almost every door having a camera to help in preventing that type of situation. Maintenance orders get processed fast and get seen within the day. Communication is also shared between us (the tenants) , leasing office and maintenance team. The location is in a pretty good spot. We have restaurants in front of us within walking distance and heb right across! Parking and trash would be the only issue though. Parking, is a first come first serve kinda thing unless you request a garage. Make sure all your stickers are updated because they do allow access to a towing company. The towing company isn't the greatest and has a 1.7 review.. Just an fyi For trash I do understand the reasoning and placements for them, however if you live far from it, the walk is long so either load it up in the trunk or be ready to get your steps in! Overall I would definitely recommend making this your next home sweet home.
