The beautiful backwaters between kochi and alleppey offer a great escape into nature and its wonderful landscapes. The tour includes bird sighting, narrow backwater paths, fisherman’s livelihood’s, Chinese fishing nets to say the least. Apart from the natural scenery we thoroughly enjoyed Mr Godson’s charm and knowledge about the backwaters. He led us on a guided trip for about 2.5 hrs in the sunset describing the ways of the land. We also visited a fishing farm and had a unique experience. All of this followed by hearty homemade meal at his home. The day could not get better. If anyone looking for backwater tours, I would certainly recommend Mr Godson and his tour.

We reached his home stay and were welcomed with an amazing lunch. He prepared so many dishes for us and it was such an authentic experience, we absolutely loved it. Then we followed for the backwaters tour. The best thing is that the boat tour was private and it was just our group of 3 people. It lasted for two hours where we also visited a local house and experienced their lives and the fishing that they do. We also did kayaking. It was wonderful experience for us and I would highly recommend this tour company for an authentic Kochi backwaters tour.
