Culture Coffee is a charming spot in Salisbury that offers top-quality coffee and a delightful breakfast menu. It's nestled in a quaint nook, providing a comfortable setting to savor your morning cup. The avocado and feta smash on sourdough is their signature dish, striking the perfect balance of creamy avocado and tangy feta.
The food quality and presentation was very impressive. I ordered a focaccia and each bite was a delight! Excellent bread and high quality ingredients. It was a bit pricey but the portions were large enough that it felt worth it.
Julia J — Google review
We had a lovely time here despite the cooked breakfast disappointing. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the service friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious and everything presented beautifully. We reserved a large table and it we were made to feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was really disappointing because everything else was to such a high standard. The sausages were not good quality, the toast was actually a large slab of warmed bread, with a hard crust that you had to hacksaw into. I’d highly recommended they change their bread. A lot of us experienced the same and it wasn’t toasted sadly. However overall we had a wonderful time and can’t fault the service or presentation and the pastries looked yummy!

This is our local, it’s a 5 minute walk for us. The coffee is a bit pricey, but the quality is superb. However yesterday Wednesday 7 April, we went there and arrived at 1ish to have drinks and eats before meeting some friends at the venue. Our friends arrived, at 4.05pm (on their website it advises they close at 5pm.) The lady was quite rude to us, (she had long dark hair, slim and red lipstick.) She said with a quite a lot of attitude that she is now working alone, she needs to clean and cash up- because of this they are closing now at 4.05pm. She kept rolling her eyes. Our friends had driven from Amesbury, and the venue missed out on drinks for 4 of us, food and cake. If the venue was having staff issues, the lady should have come to our table and said we are closing early. We were made to feel most unwelcome and I am not sure if we will be returning. This is a real shame as we had enjoyed previously coming here.

My first time popping in earlier on today. Can I just say what a wonderful, warm service I have received ! Came in sad and with a broken heart and left with a huge smile on my face and stomach full of delicious food and drink that just blew my brain off ! Thank you so much I shall be visiting again very soon. - Alicja

Visited Salisbury for Stonehenge – wanted coffee and breakfast before and came across this café a short walk away from the train station. What comfortable atmosphere! There’s a quaint garden seating at the back, staff was friendly too :—) My dad & I were pleasantly surprised by the presentation of pastry & drinks (served with a little treat and water). If we had more time, we would definitely relax here.
Yi L — Google review
If I could give a 3.5 I would. 3 is to harsh but 4 is too much. The atmosphere, I found was excellent, its a really nice addition to Fisherton Street, and to Salisbury. The coffee is genuinely fantastic, its my go to for a coffee as there isnt many coffee shops in Salisbury that have such a unique flavour. However, it is expensive, this is ok when your buying a coffee for yourself, as the environment and the staff are great, it evens it out. But go in with your family or friends and you'll feel the pinch. The main thing that let me down was the breakfast (Fry up). Sausages where poor quality, like, 20 in packet for £2 quality. Bacon overdone and the hash browns fried so long little potato was left, with the baked beans microwaved. In all honesty, I ate it, it wasn't terrible, but for £20, Breakfast, Coffee and water, Id expected something better. With the standard of the cake, which is excellent, the coffee, the atmosphere, it surprised me that the breakfast wasn't up to thier usual high quality ingredients. Either way, I will keep going back, as its a great coffee shop, with fantastic cakes....I just wont eat a breakfast there again. 👀.

Côte Salisbury is a modern French brasserie located in the heart of Salisbury. The restaurant offers a blend of traditional French dishes with a contemporary twist, providing guests with an authentic taste of France. The ambiance exudes a touch of class and sophistication, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a refined dining experience. With its attentive and friendly service, Côte Salisbury ensures that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.
What a fantastic little restaurant, lovely ambient atmosphere and delicious food, lovely fresh ingredients. Ana who served us was amazing, saw to our every need, brought us fresh cups when we ordered another cafitiere which doesn’t happen in many restaurants. An absolute asset to this restaurant. We will let our friends know. Thank you.

Surprisingly good restaurant in Salisbury recommended by local shop. Very professional staff with friendly service, food was good and generous serving. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience! Give a try when you are in Salisbury.
David C — Google review
I enjoyed my food but we weren't as blown away as the other reviews. Certainly the people on the table who ordered the steak left feeling hungry still, and commented that it didn't come out cooked to their stated preference. The staff were bumbling around getting in each others way and bringing food to the wrong tables.
Pippa R — Google review
Absolutely love eating here, great food, service and menu choices. The waitress deserves a gold medal for keeping a smile on her face while helping my rather demanding 83 year old friend , I am really sorry he has no patience with the amazing staff.
Jonbristolbs4 — Google review
I love a Côte Brasserie, but this one was not my favourite. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but there was something about it that just didn't hit the spot. We arrived around 6pm it was quiet, but service was a little slow; I had to rush my pudding down as the car park was due to close at 8pm. The food was good, but the main was exceptionally hot, like lava and I did burn my mouth. Despite beautiful old stained windows and a nice decor, part of the atmosphere for me I think was how approaching middle age, we still managed to bring down the age average quite significantly. Other Côtes have a wide range of ages and I never normally consider this a factor, but the Salisbury branch is favoured by the more mature generation. This did have it's plusses, being able to overhear some conversations being had in loud voices was both a little irritating but also entertaining at points. I'd return, because the food quality is still ok, and I don't think you could go too wrong with a Côte. Just lacking in the old... Ambiance.

Amazing from start to finish! Our waitress,, Elena (not sure I’ve got her name right!) was absolutely delightful, nothing was too much trouble, even clearing up my eggy mess for me!! I had the full breakfast which was cooked to perfection with an apple juice and coffee. 10/10 highly recommended!

We had a fun pre theatre meal at Cote, Salisbury. The waitress Solomiia was great! The new menu was nice. Personally my half chicken was a bit dry, but the extra sauces helped. The French onion soup was excellent as always. The wines were very nice. I miss the Breton seafood soup on the menu, which was my Cote go to favourite.

Nestled in the heart of Salisbury, Carwardines is a beloved destination for those craving traditional English fare, particularly its renowned fish and chips. This charming eatery boasts a rich history and an elegant ambiance that perfectly marries contemporary culinary techniques with classic recipes. Guests can indulge in hearty breakfasts served all day, featuring fresh ingredients and delightful options like the breakfast buffet that adds a modern twist to timeless dishes.
My first time at this place and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I opted for the English breakfast and tea. Easy to find in a prime location with plenty of table space. Lovely atmosphere and seems very inviting and welcoming. Lots of movie scenes on pictures around the walls. Staff are friendly and there was no long wait for the food. There are table outside too if you want. The restaurant is clean and tidy with tables cleared promptly. The breakfast itself was just right as I cleaned the plate entirely. It takes a lot to get five stars from me but I believe that it is well deserved. I will certainly be coming back in the future and recommend you do too.
Kev B — Google review
The staff was okay and the place is nicely located. Unfortunately, there’s an unpleasant smell when sitting outside, which really takes away from the dining experience. The food was disappointing. The fish and chips were not salted at all - the fish had a muddy taste, the fries were below average. the portion size was only okay. Honestly, it was the least enjoyable fish and chips I’ve had. The British breakfast wasn’t much better. The sausages had an unpleasant taste, the bacon was hard as rock and while the beans, bread, eggs, and hash browns were all pretty average or below-average. There are definitely better places around. While the prices weren’t extremely high, the quality didn’t justify the cost. I wouldn’t recommend it.
J M — Google review
Great find, staff and service were both excellent. I had the all day breakfast and hubby had a gammon and cheese toastie. Both were reasonably priced and enjoyable.

Lovely spot for brunch, sat outside enjoying the sunshine this morning! Coffee was good quality and the breakfast options are perfect! If you're looking for a quails egg and Avocado topped with micro herbs this probably isn't your spot, but if you want a decent breakfast, good service and nice views it's got it all! Will definitely be back 😊

Although we have yet to try the food at this place, we asked people in the Salisbury area (it was our first time visiting Salisbury) for recommendations and they suggested this place. When we attended, however, they explained in a friendly manner that they were about to close. I am writing this review because the woman with whom we spoke was extremely helpful. We asked her to suggest a place and she really did a good job and took the time to properly think, which is very much appreciated. We shall definitely make an effort to visit this place when we are next in the area. The person really took an interest and I just want to thank her for being so helpful.

Excellent breakfast, both full English and vegetarian full English! We visited Salisbury and wanted to grab a quick bite in the morning. We could not fault our breakfast or the staff - absolutely fantastic. Vegetarian breakfast gave the option for veggie sausages to be included which were delicious. A lot of places don’t quite cook them fully as they are meat free and tend to be lukewarm however these were perfect and piping hot! Eggs were also cooked exactly how we had requested. Will definitely return when we pop to Salisbury again.

This place has been great since the new managements taken over! New menu is out and varied, suitable for vegetarians. Would definitely recommended

The Chapter House is a charming restaurant and bar located in historic buildings in Salisbury. The Tudor facade and wood-beamed interiors add to its traditional appeal. The restaurant offers delightful British cuisine and a wide selection of ales, while the 17 individually decorated rooms maintain the original features such as exposed beams. Guests have praised the attentive staff, delicious food, and well-maintained rooms that blend historic charm with modern amenities.
Stayed here one night before visiting Stonehenge. Check in was easy and they had a reasonable parking area not too far away. We made a dinner reservation upon arriving. Dinner and breakfast the next morning were both terrific. Location was perfect for a stroll around town, including the cathedral (a must see). It was fun staying at such a historical place!

Disappointing Stay in Room #2 We chose this hotel based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews, but unfortunately, our personal experience did not meet those high expectations. Our feedback is solely based on the room we were assigned, Room #2. The Pros • Very Comfortable Bed: The quality of the bed and bedding was excellent, providing a wonderful night's sleep. • Wonderful Breakfast: The food served for breakfast was genuinely delicious. The Cons • Uneven Flooring: The floor felt noticeably unlevel, which was distracting. • Old, Stained Carpet: The carpet was clearly old and had visible stains, making the room feel unclean and dated. • Dated furniture • Dark and Poor View: The room was quite dark, with the only window offering a view of an interior rooftop, which was not pleasant. • No AC: luckily the weather was cool and we left the window open. • Small: not a lot of room for luggage. Both of our luggages were on the floor. • Late Breakfast Start: For early risers or travelers with plans, the breakfast starting times were quite late (8:00 AM on weekdays and 8:30 AM on Sunday).

Fabulous evening meal with friends. Great advice re what to order and how best to have it cooked from the "Butcher's Block". Very good wine list; we went for something I'd never had before that, whilst not cheap, represented great value. Overall a very positive experience that I hope I'll have the opportunity to repeat before too long.

Very historic building, hosts very helpful & friendly. Food was good. If less mobile, the stairs could be a bit of an issue. Its an old building and the stairs are quite steep and uneven. Not to be challenged if a little tipsy. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of good towels & toiletries. Room was quite warm as no air conditioning but there was a very good fan in the room and a small view of the steeple of the Cathedral. All in all a good stay.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We had a lovely room, great steak for dinner and a very good breakfast. Our room was very clean. We also had fantastic service throughout our time at The Chapter house. Thanks to all of you for a lovely stay. We look forward to the next visit.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Chapter House! The location is wonderful to get around Salisbury on foot. They have parking just across the street from the hotel if you had a rental car, as we did. The building has SO much character and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great, as well. We would highly recommend a stay at The Chapter House for anyone visiting the area who wants to experience the charm of a historic building with wonderful staff!

Stayed two nights as a solo traveler. Charming Tudor building, you can really feel the history. Comfortable, quiet rooms - good beds. Decent breakfast. Great location next to the Cathedral Close with plenty of restaurants in vicinity.

We stayed at the Chapter House on our wedding night in June. The room was flawless, and incredibly clean and tidy. There was also a fan to keep the room cool, which did a fantastic job. I have to say a huge thank you to Chris, who stayed behind to let us check in after midnight. He was extremely polite, courteous and told us more of the history behind our room - which made our stay even more interesting. Chris is a real asset to this Hotel.

Located on Salisbury High Street, The Salisbury Orangery is a charming independent cafe that offers a delightful dining experience. The cafe features two floors for patrons to enjoy, with the top floor serving as a dedicated co-working space. The interior is beautifully decorated and changes with the seasons, creating an inviting atmosphere. Visitors can indulge in a variety of delicious food and drinks, including an assortment of teas and vegetarian/vegan options.
We recently visited the Salisbury Orangery for breakfast and had an excellent experience. The setting was beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made for a great start to the day. I opted for the standard Orangery breakfast, while my partner chose the vegetarian option. Both portions were generous, and the quality of the food was divine—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. To drink, my partner enjoyed a classic mimosa, while I tried a turmeric and ginger latte, which was a brilliant choice and something I hadn’t had before. It had a great balance of spice and warmth, making it a unique highlight of the meal. The service was okay—perhaps not the friendliest, but given how busy it was, this was understandable. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and we’d definitely return. If you're looking for a delicious, well-prepared breakfast in a stylish setting, Salisbury Orangery is well worth a visit!

Others have commented on long waits for a table and a long wait for the food to come out. I too experienced this on my visit in late September but the staff were very apologetic about it - and I can tell you - my food was worth the wait. I had the Hot Smoked Trout Mousse on Toast and it was delicious. Great flavours, different textures and very very enjoyable. The only improvement I'd make would be to add more colour - a bit of red or more green as visually ... it was a little bland, dominated by beige, white and yellow especially as it is served on a white plate. Apart from that a tip top delight.
Carrie G — Google review
What a beautiful place to have a coffee and some food. Beautiful building inside and out. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food and the drinks are delicious. The coffee I had tasted great. I had a nonalcoholic blueberry spritzer which balanced the flavours perfectly and was delicious. I also had the salmon pretzel bun which was delicious and seasoned to perfection. In a lot of places I often feel like I have to season the food after it’s arrived but that absolutely was not the case here. It was perfect and I will absolutely be back here. I would highly recommend.
Emma L — Google review
A fab location right next to the river, in the centre of Salisbury. Very busy on a Sunday morning so expect a bit of a wait for a table. But it’s worth it. Great coffee and plenty of breakfast options including good vegan choices. A nice place to start your day.

Nice cafe on the river with decent food and coffee. We came here when visiting Salisbury for lunch and had a nice toastie and sausage sandwich! I also had a cortdo which was excellent coffee (possibly better than the food!). Situated in a relaxing location on the bridge and river, ideal for people watching

Only luck would have it we happened to stumble upon this place. Just outside alone the place looks lovely and appealing. Couldn’t help but have a look inside and immediately cancelled our initial breakfast plans and settled for here. No regrets. The food was lovely, the coffees were lovely, the staff were lovely and it was a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming again.

Beautiful venue, however I visited today meeting with a friend and my 7 week old baby. We had our food then my baby needing changing only after queuing for the toilet I realised that there was no baby changing facilities. Luckily we had finished our food so I could leave to go somewhere else to change him. I think if your not going to provide changing facilities then people should be informed when they arrive, if we had been half way through food I would have had to leave to change him. Also I didnt find it the most welcoming atmosphere. Staff took a while to take our order and came across quite cold. Customer service is everything so definitely something they need to work on.

Sonder is hands down my favourite coffee shop in Salisbury. The team are always so friendly and genuinely happy to see you, it feels like catching up with old friends every time I visit. They’re a brilliant mix of creatives too, with poets, singers and artists all bringing something a bit magical to the place. The atmosphere is cosy, relaxed and totally different to anywhere else in the city. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, and there’s always something interesting going on or someone lovely to chat to. They serve delicious cakes from local small businesses (which I absolutely love to support - Dunk'd Cookies are my fave right now!), and they’re very dog friendly, my two pups are always have a pupuccino and biscuit, which they adore, especially after a wander round the busy Charter Market on a Saturday. We always find a comfy spot to sit, relax and take it all in. I’ve also used their co-working space, which is such a great low-cost way to work from the city centre, looking out at the Cathedral entrance and watching the world go by. If you’re in Salisbury, do pop into Sonder, it’s an independent gem and well worth supporting!

The go-to remote work café in Salisbury! Comfortable seating, numerous plug sockets and speedy WiFi. This is also an excellent place to visit socially as all of the drinks are delicious and there's always something interesting to try on the menu. Slightly more expensive than your average indie café but you're definitely paying for the atmosphere and lovely staff as much as you are for the food and drink. I always make a point to visit when I'm in Salisbury :)

Sonder Coffee is hands down one of the best spots in Salisbury. The coffee is consistently excellent; smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe that makes it the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which really makes the experience stand out. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a great café to unwind, Sonder is an absolute gem in the heart of Salisbury. Id love to call it a coffee house, but it’s more like a coffee home! Highly recommend!

Amazing coffee (I’m a coffee nerd who makes coffee at home). Uses beans from Extract Roasters in Bristol. Good selection of Alt milks for my wife (coconut, almond, soy, oat) Awesome cookie brownie cake. Only let down by the ‘work from home’ people that took up almost all the seating, hence knocking off a star for atmosphere. Otherwise absolutely brilliant!

Whilst the food was quite nice, the service was shocking. Staff were either sullen, inattentive or in one case rude. There’s no clear signage saying you cannot take food upstairs to eat that has been bought in the same shop! To be told this so rudely and abruptly puts me off from ever returning. Look after your customers, and they’ll return. Upset them and they certainly will not!!!

There's two Reeve's in the city; I visited the one with the sit down cafe upstairs 30/06/23, where I've been before. Nice and central, gets busy at peak times. Friendly waitresses, ordered Brie & Bacon toastie, choice of white or seeded bread. It was a large plate of food when it arrived with plenty of salad and crisps. Coffee good too. The main bakery downstairs has a quality range of pastries. Loo's available but up another flight of stairs.

It said wait to be seated. There was no one there to seat us, so we sat down . We were then told by a rude lady we had to wait before being seated in a virtually empty cafe. The menus were thrown on the table, by the same person. My husband wanted to leave. A nice lady then came and took our order. The same lady then had a go at another elderly couple.....

After seeing the lovely looking pasties and cakes in the window we went inside…to be greeted with the rudest young woman with the worst attitude problem I have ever encountered. Late teens, early twenties- Blonde. We were taking a few seconds to figure out what we wanted and I could sense her getting annoyed, frustrated we weren’t making a decision quick enough (we had an elderly/disabled person and two kids with us). She was turning to her colleagues and rolling her eyes at us, visibly impatient. Whispering under her breath. I asked her if she was okay and she got confrontational and had to be replaced by an older gentleman to serve us. The pastries were lovely but this young woman needs a lesson in customer service as well as a severe reality check.

Good food in terms of quality and selection but awful service. We interacted with 3 different staff and they were all grumpy. The bakery wasn't even busy.

The Cornish Bakery is a small cafe that serves fresh hot coffee and almond croissants. The staff are helpful and the bakery is clean and inviting. The pain aux raisin tasted fantastic, as did the FW. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
I have visited The Cornish Bakery a few times on trips to Salisbury. It has a large, open seating area and a fantastic choice of high-quality pastries available. My first trip was with a friend visiting from Canada. He loves continental pastries, in particular British ones, and so this seemed like a perfect choice. On that occasion, we tried the pistachio croissant, which was fabulous. The coffees were very tasty and there was a nice atmosphere, albeit busy. My second visit was on a day out for my birthday, and since I had a dinner reservation later on (elsewhere) I didn't want to eat anything too heavy. My partner and I enjoyed a savoury and a sweet pastry each. I had the cheese and bacon croissant, and the lemon curd filled Danish. The croissant was excellent but it would have been even better if it had been hot. The Danish pastry, however, was next-level. The curd was perfectly tart and the fresh, sweet berries on top really complemented this. My partner had a classic sausage roll, followed by a cinnamon pastry. He remained very quiet through his brunch which was a sign he enjoyed it immensely. Pricing was very reasonable, with the four pastries and two drinks coming to under £12 per person.

Got a traditional Cornish pasty, custard tart, sausage roll and chocolate twist to try. the pastry used for the sausage roll and tart is really good and light. The sausage roll tastes great; neither too bland nor salty. The chocolate twist is good too. For the other two (tart and Cornish pasty), not bad but I had better somewhere else. The custard in the tart is too sweet for me (having it with a black coffee might help, in fact). Overall, it's good. we'd like to try other puffy pastries, esp croissant. The sausage roll is the most favourite out of the 4 items we tried.

This was one of the best cafes i’ve ever been to! I loved the atmosphere there so much and the stuff was so friendly! I had an amazing chai latte and my friends had latte and matcha which were also delicious!! It’s definitely a must-visit in Salisbury!!

I absolutely love this place. It’s a fantastic spot to come with friends or family. It’s also very baby-friendly, there are always lots of little ones around, which makes the atmosphere feel cozy and welcoming. The food is absolutely fantastic, everything is fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The team here is exceptional. I especially want to highlight Robby and T, they’re both incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure everyone feels comfortable and happy. Robby and T are truly exceptional: always kind, always smiling, and always working so hard to make every visit a great experience. You can really feel their positive energy and dedication. It’s one of those places that just makes you feel good every time you visit. 💛

It was the best matcha I've ever had and staff was so kind and atmosphere was so calm and cozy, I love it so much, I want to came back again, thanks for your kindness. ILY 💗💗💗 PS. My friend wants to say something too: Without a doubt THE BEST latte I've ever had in my life! If I ever come back to Salisbury, this is definitely place I'll visit again.

Went today, for a bit of lunch. When we got up to order, the person taking our order was barking at us “anything else” over and over. When I first tried to order, he interrupted and asked if I was ordering anything to drink, I quickly decided not to order a drink… then he explained they’re out of dairy options. Just not a good ordering experience, and didn’t lead to us wanting to order more. It was unfriendly. No tables but one dirty one that we had to clean off ourselves. Food was good.

A truly great cafe. I have just had a traditional pasty that could have been made at home by my cornish grandmother- it took me straight back to my childhood. Sweet pastries great too - I had a pistachio croissant which was delicious.

Henderson's Artisan Bakery is a welcoming haven from the pouring rain and winds, with delicious food and great coffee. Upstairs tables make it ideal for dining in while the market square below is perfect for a caffeine break. It's also dog friendly, making it an excellent choice for a family outing.
Beautiful courtyard on the plaza seating for a sunny day. Fresh handmade bites. They have coffee etc, but I did not try the coffee to rate it.

Delicious cinnamon bun (which the barista kindly warmed up for me) and organic wholemeal bread. The potato pie was also nice. Great customer service and fantastic latte art skills from the barista. Sadly the coffee itself was awful and even after she kindly remade my flat white I couldn't drink it. 😭 Would highly recommend investing in some good quality coffee! 😬🙈 In the end I had tea which was much better!

First visit to Henderson’s and it certainly won’t be our last. I had a butterbean hummus and chargrilled vegetable sandwich and my hubby had a BLT. The bread was gorgeous and the sandwiches were huge! Lovely, friendly staff. Enjoyed sitting outside and watching life go by on the market square. Sadly, we were too full after our sandwich to try a sausage roll!

Hendersons was lovely for lunchtime, unfortunately one of the staff dropped my food but they were very apologetic and gave a complimentary cheese biscuit and drinks as we had to wait a bit longer which was lovely! All the staff had a smile on their face and were very hospitable. The atmosphere is lovely, people chatting a nice quiet place to enjoy lunch!

Bit disappointed with this place. It was very busy so I gave it a go for a take out sandwich. I don't know what the take out price was (I didn't notice at the time) but the eat in price was £6.15. The sandwich was just not great. It was brie bacon and cranberry and there was nothing delicious about it and at that price I expect it to be good. The hot chocolate was also very "dark chocolate" which is fine if you like it like that but I would expect the drink to be more milky. I wouldn't bother again.

Wonderful experience! Great coffee, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. A special shoutout to the amazing staff who went the extra mile by waiting for us to pick up our bread order even after closing time. My friend and I truly appreciated the kindness—thank you!

We are usually regular customers but had a very poor experience with the owner today. He was very rude about us having a dog in and supposedly being near their baked goods, despite her not being remotely close to the bakery items and the cafe claiming to be dog friendly . His tone was very rude and has put me off going again. Severely needs to work on his customer service if he’s going to be front of house

Jenny's Restaurant is a great place to have a meal. The food is good and the price is reasonable. The service from the staff is friendly and welcoming. The kitchen area is always clean. The tables are cleaned before new customers are allowed to sit down. I always give Jenny's a 100% rating when I visit.
I loved coming to this Jennys! It has to be the best breakfast in Salisbury. The are a few good options for breakfasts and the food was really tasty. The only thing I'd mark them down on was the fried egg because I really can't do a runny white but otherwise excellent! Also, the cherry milkshake was huge and so nice. The staff are friendly and the music was good too. Highly recommend.

If your after a good breakfast that’s well prepared and presented at a good price then this is a great choice. Other menu options could be hit and miss found out burgers are good and omelette are great . Only missed out on a five star rating because the drinks are overpriced compared to other eateries in the area but definitely a breakfast hit !

Updated review after a refresh! An excellent place to eat. The burger sauces is the best I’ve ever had, try the Farmhouse Burger. Still one of the best little spots in Salisbury. The latte is one of the tastiest in town, and the Eggs Royale was cooked perfectly, with plenty of sauce. Service was great as well.

Went here for late lunch around 1-2p last Friday and enjoyed it. Service was good and attentive staff (girl with blonde hair and braided pigtails was very nice to us). Reading the reviews and its all mixed but cant blame staff or waiting hours if you come in on a rush hour. Food was served on time, big serving for a cheap price and their steak and kidney pie is great. Ordered the lamb chops and very happy with the serving. Will definitely recommend for anyone visiting Salisbury.

Desperately looking for a non-trendy place for late lunch, we pitched up here. On a cold wet day, £31 prepaid for cod and chips for two, and a pot of tea for one (£4!) might have been OK if the food was OK. It wasn't. It was awful. The battered cod was overcooked, standardised factory mass produced style, the chips were undercooked, the peas were cold and stale, and the salad tasted of raw onion, which I guess they just picked out as we requested "no raw onion". I don't think I've had such a bad meal in a long time. I've certainly never left so much food on my plate. The girl taking orders was nice, the rest didn't look like they'd be considerate if we complained, but she had gone. A pasty from a bakery would have been much better.

We came here for a little breakfast, arrived around 9am on a Sunday. We ordered an omelette and smashed avocado on toast, along with a couple of coffees. Service was quick and efficient and the food arrived in a good time, perhaps because it was quite quiet. Prices are reasonable but the thing that stands out for Jenny’s is the choice on the menu and how it’s all cooked fresh. Highly recommend and we will be back!

All the staff are lovely ☺️ with excellent service & a great sense of humour! John is an excellent barista and a laugh 😆, Anna is a great 😌 waitress and always cheerful 😄 and efficient along with Charlie too. I had the Brie and cranberry ciabatta with red cabbage the Brie was practically non existent one small slice of brie in each half and it was overflowing with the cranberry and cabbage having only one narrow slice of brie meant you couldn't taste it. All you could taste was the cranberry which was very sweet. Completely waste of money and I wasn't given any satisfaction from the owner would not recommend the place to anyone. My friend wasn't happy with her hog roast ciabatta both of us said we would never go back or recommend to anyone. I will say the waitress apologised and was very nice.

I was getting breakfast with my girlfriend we ordered coffees which were very nice but when it came to our food it wasn't good. My sausage bap was tasteless and the sausages where mushy and unpleasant. My girlfriends cinnamon bun was bearly flavourd and the dough was under cooked and floppy. Over all a disappointment.

My friend ordered a chocolate milkshake with ice-cream. When my friend offered some feedback it fell on deaf ears and met with distain, no compromise or accepting of the lackluster £5.drink. My friend was calm and polite yet 2 minutes later the server said "here's your money" The attitude from the two young staff members was unprofessional and a shame as the location and other reviews were complimentary. Temper your expectations.

Another cafe as cool as a cucumber. This one is located on the square. It royally kicks the hind quarters of Pick Up cafe in every category. The barista crafted a beautiful looking coffee. Stone’s just needs better coffee. For that, go artisan, grab some Cure Coffee Lab beans from The Fisherton Warehouse cafe up the street. My goodness, they make a good tasting drop of black gold over there.

Salisbury Arts Centre, located in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, is a vibrant cultural complex offering a diverse range of entertainment. Established around 30 years ago and run by Wiltshire Creative, this venue hosts live theatre performances, music concerts, comedy shows, art exhibitions and arthouse films. Additionally, it features workshops and family events to engage the community with the arts. The center also collaborates with local events such as the Larmer Tree Festival.
I returned to Salisbury Arts Centre to watch the final rehearsal of Louise Jordan's new one woman show, "Behind Enemy Lines" the venue was, as expected, well prepared. There's good access for those with disbilities and seating available in the cafe whilst waiting for doors. The bar has a good range of drinks, including low to no. Access into the main arts space was easy and there is reasonable space between the rows to get in and out. Both the sound and lighting were excellent, as was the performance.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Amy in the cafe. I had been trying to find somewhere in the city to grab a coffee, use a baby change and feed my baby daughter. I went to que up for a coffee in the cafe, a couple of people skipped in front of me in the que and my baby starting fussing and needed feeding so I sat down and thought I'll grab a coffee after. Amy went above and beyond and came over to where I was sat to ask me if I'd like something to drink as she could probably see I was a bit stressed trying to see to my baby. I said I would come over to pay afterwards and she kindly said the coffee was on the house. Thank you so much, it meant a lot to help a mum in need and really gave me a little pick me up!

First time I’ve been to a McDonald’s for quite a few years. A Big Mac was smaller than I remember, but it was still tasty. Ordering on the touch screen was fairly self explanatory and I mastered it quite quickly. Salisbury branch,it took over 10mins to obtain my order at drive thru with only 2cars Infront of me,I wait whilst the car at the order collection was having a long friendly conversation with the server it would appear that his order was having to be prepared they should have moved to the wait order area that didn't happen. When I eventually got to collect my order there was no apology for the wait I drove off the food would appear to have setting there whilst the server and his customer friend were laughing about ,the food and drink I ordered was at best lukewarm. Very poor service and certainly not the usual McDonald's standard.
Kjw — Google review
Absolutely disgusting! Ten minute wait for the food to arrive then it was cold! Bins full to the brim, staff seemed disinterested in their customers! Tried complaining online only to be told that my nearest McDonald's was Lockerbie! I'm in Wiltshire! Southampton Rd Salisbury McDonald's, you seriously need to retrain your staff!
Debbie G — Google review
Quick stop en route home. Typical McDonald's fare and layout. Additional seats upstairs, but be mindful that they shut this off from 8pm. Car park shared with Premier Inn, so parking spaces might be limited depending on time of the day. When we visited at 7pm, not many spaces left

If you’d like a burger with your grease then you’ll be ok. See photo, the shiny surface of a bun that was so soggy it was dark where it had absorbed the grease (so much that it oozed through delivery bag too). I was fortunate to talk with the ONLY nice member of staff. The manager/supervisor was complaining that I complained, not his fault it’s a new process. No complimentary replaced, just an explanation of the new burger, quicker process and therefore more grease. Basically, that’s how it is now. Refund for triple and tried a double with fingers crossed - absolutely revolting. Avoid this one.

I got to be honest. When I go to Maccies, I don't expect 5* food, I don't expect food that jumps off the table. I do expect food that doesn't look like it's been sat on by a larger person. The temperature was just about okay, the chips were hot and just the right amount of salt although they could have had 30 seconds more cooking time, they looked slightly anaemic but they tasted nice. Overall, I know it's fast food and it's never going to be the Ritz.
John E — Google review
Used the drive through. Service was half hearted and lacked any energy. Ordered a big arch meal with banana milkshake. The chips were fine but the ketchup wasn’t the same. Tasted sour. The big arch burger was awful. Salty and drenched in dressing. Had to throw most of it away. The banana milkshake was watery and not up to the usual standard. Overall I was very disappointed and will think hard about going there again

Visited for the first time just after 8pm on a Friday evening. Couldn’t sit in as upstairs shut off so had to sit in the car. Food cold. no dips and out of milkshake and bins overflowing. Not a great example of the brand,

The Tesco Cafe is a great place to go for a break or to eat. The staff are polite and kind, and Ryan in particular is lovely - he always goes out of his way to help others and does a great job cleaning up and cooking. Disabled people feel welcome here, as does anyone who wants to take their children along. The cafe has been very busy recently due to the current economic situation, but Ryan never falters in his cheerful demeanour.
Food is pricey but that's expected nowadays. Chairs are comfy. Toilets on the same level. A lift is available as well.

I have never had a cold plate of food from a Tesco Café. Other supermarkets cannot deliver on that. Another well cooked breakfast today. Compared to other tesco cafés, this one doesn't have screens to order on.
Nyumbani P — Google review
Would give 0/5* if i could. Tables and floors were filthy, couldn't have food with family including 2 very young children due to almost an hour wait with only 5 other tables wanting food. Staff were slow and clueless. Cant make a basic latte or mocha, staff need to be retrained on hot drinks. Staff very quiet when shouting food orders, should be retrained or a have better system when bringing food out.

Absolute joke. Poped in to have a breakfast and I asked for extras and also payed the extra costs as you do and my breakfast came out in a card bored box… and I did not get my extras…. Was also very small and cheap sausages. It toke the lady at the till 10-20 mins to put my order in as she kept getting it wrong. My baby’s fish fingers. Came out raw and I asked for veggi sticks and they survived my son peas… that is not veggie sticks at all 🤣 what a joke and this is it first and last time at the Tesco caffe. Also I ordered tgere special drink (mango and dragon fruit cooler) and it was litrlskt just juice. Nothing special about it. Very rude staffed also

5 people in the restaurant so very quiet... floors and tables we're dirty. I was there at 3.30pm and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days!

Ryan in cafe is absolutely lovely he’s polite great person to help us he works so hard he should be a team leader or at least get something for his hard work especially having to do all on own cooking washing up cleaning tables for us to be safe makes disabled people welcome great helping old people children he’s a great person to have around in cafe well done Ryan thankyou for all your help especially as times are tough you know how to cheer up people you’re a star

Extremely slow service. Took 15 minutes to get a coffee and a mocha from queuing to sitting. Whilst very pleasant to drink. Not a warm cafe so wrap up warm in winter.

Visited Tesco cafe Amesbury Wiltshire for lunch Today at 1300 hrs. Found only one person on duty and a queue of 8 to 9 people tables still uncleared and the duty person telling customers to sit and wait for 5 minutes. Not what one expects from one of the UK"s biggest retailer's. Left.

Nestled in the heart of Parkwood, The Wood Bar is a delightful spot that promises an unforgettable experience for brunch and lunch enthusiasts. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, it’s no wonder this café has become a favorite among locals. The menu boasts an array of mouthwatering options, making it hard to choose just one dish.
Very nice and very popular place. Always worth waiting :) staff does amazing job and they are always hard working and kind (my kids love them too!). Drinks are delicious, we always grab a snack after exercise.

Honestly I would give it 6 stars if I could. The staff are always lovely and smiling. A nice spot for some respite and a bite after a hard workout.

Always friendly staff, lovely food, I’ve been for breakfast, brunch and coffees and cake. Never had to wait long to get a seat if at all. Nice and convenient to get too. Worth a visit :)

Totally delicious brunch at The Wood Bar. So many delicious sounding options it was difficult to choose, but went for the Chef's Signature dish with balsamic roasted tomatoes, gin marinated onions, locally sourced baby buffalo mozzarella and pesto. So beautifully presented I almost didn't want to eat it, but SO glad I did! An exquisite explosion of delicious flavours Excellent service as well. A total gem of a find.

Excellent coffee, nice sausage roll, friendly and professional service. Not your average shlop for coffee, this is proper barista coffee by people who obviously care. This is now my favorite coffee in Salisbury. I had an iced americano, with whipped air cream. The coffee was very much on par, really good roast, perfect grind and not overly bitter taste, perfect 👌

Very good service, easily supportive of customer needs. An exemplary standard set by Evi with her welcoming can do attitude.

Food is great and coffee is always nice. Lovely people, independent company, what's not to like?

I've eaten at the Wood Bar in Parkwood three times now. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of dairy free options which is amazing for me as I'm lactose intolerant. I haven't been able to have pancakes out in a cafe for years! Food is presented beautifully and delicious. Coffees are great.
