Lake Kawaguchi, the second-largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, is a picturesque destination renowned for fishing, camping, and hiking. Nestled amidst mountains and lakes, it offers stunning views of Mount Fuji and features the famous Red Rock Wall with its breathtaking waterfalls and canyons. Visitors can partake in various water activities such as rowing and sailing or explore museums, galleries, theme parks, and hot springs for a diverse travel experience.
The lake below Mount Fuji is a beautiful one. The rope way journey near the lake gives fantastic view on the surroundings and Mt Fuji. The cruise in the lake is also very interesting
BABU V — Google review
I wasn’t so lucky that day since it was pretty cloudy, and Mt. Fuji didn’t show up. But honestly, the atmosphere around the lake was amazing—nice and cool, not too hot or cold. I saw people cycling around and others just walking or exercising. It felt really peaceful and relaxing.
PREEN Z — Google review
Absolutely the most scenic bike ride I have ever done. Even though it’s not the cherry blossom or snow-capped season, the view of Fuji mountain is quite spectacular from every angle along this lake.
World E — Google review
The beauty of the Lake is magnified by the backdrop of Mt. Fuji, the vast blue sky and the lovely breezes. The blueberry tea in the souvenir shop is a good company to this scenic splendour!
Dylan D — Google review
When i visited, Fujisan was not visible so the visit was disappointing overall. But the lake area is pretty and well maintained. There are many types of flowers planted and serve as a small consolation prize when Fujisan is not visible. There is a also a souvenir and food shop in the area.
Chhanda B — Google review
Lake Kawaguchi or Lake Kawaguchiko as I called it offers one of the best and most picturesque views of Mt.Fuji. The lake is like serenity itself with stunning autumn foliage. I highly recommend taking the lake boat cruise that offers 20-minute excursion to the lake. You can have sn amazing view of Mt. Fuji on the boat cruise itself. Lake Kawaguchiko is a gem.
JP T — Google review
This place is absolutely beautiful, definitely worth a visit even if Mt Fuji isn’t visible. Breath-taking views!
Alissa L — Google review
Lake Kawaguchi is a stunning, natural lake surrounded by mountains and hills. The water was very pristine. There is a track and road around the entire lake which you can use for walking. It is also popular for people to hire bicycles to ride around. I found the area to be calming. Mt Fuji can also be viewed from here if weather conditions are good.

Amusement park

Theme Parks
Fuji-Q Highland is an amusement park located near the base of Mount Fuji in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi. It's a popular destination for thrill-seekers with its impressive collection of rides, including Takabisha, the world's steepest roller coaster, and other famous coasters like Eejanaika, Do-Dodonpa, and Fujiyama. The park also offers two haunted attractions - Hopeless Fortress and the Haunted Hospital.
This is my 2nd visit to Fuji-Q Highland, and I was worried about how the day would pan out as my last visit was atrocious! However, let me say that today was a very pleasant surprise! I paid for the priority entrance, which gets you into the park 30 minutes early (which is massively worth it). Head for the big coasters first - Zokkon and Fujiyama, as they get the biggest queues! They have a lot of great attractions, but make sure you read the opening times of all attractions as some things do close at 1.30pm and some open later in the day. They do have a detailed maintenance schedule on their website, but the opening and closing times did catch me out on my last visit. Also, attractions will close early depending on the queue times (for which they make announcements around the park), so make sure to plan everything you want to ride in time. There are vending machines next to each ride to buy fast passes, which is handy at busy times! The food stalls in the middle of the park are great, I had the Indian food which was lush. They are well-priced, too. There are lots of vending machines all around the park. There are at least 5/6 gift shops with lots of cool merchandise. There is also a 7-Eleven outside the park! Great for fussy eaters or cheap snacks! When visiting, make sure to plan ahead and get there early for a head start as when it's busy, it can be very unorganised and stressful.
Charlotte B — Google review
We went on a Monday in late October, and it wasn’t too packed. At most we waited an hour for one of the big roller coasters. If you are looking for a park with some of the best roller coasters ever then this is it! We loved Takabisha so much, it was scary and exhilarating all at the same time! Eejanaika is going to mess with your mind, all its twists and turns. But there are other great rides too, a special mention needs to be made for Tondemina (La pizza) ride that was fantastic. This park is filled with thrills. We had the Fuji pizza which was great. As a tip, the all day pass lets you re-enter, we went back to our hotel then returned at night, well worth it. I’ve read reviews that say the safety checks take a while and they do but honestly I was glad for it. Was it worth the money? Absolutely! I’d love to go again on a clear day when I can see Mt. Fuji.
Kyle W — Google review
Amazing rides - better than any other amusement park i've been to. They lack the intricate themes other amusement parks have (e.g., Disneyland) - more bare bones adrenaline rush. And they are very good at this - rides are so fast and frenzied that it's actually important to listen to the instructions and maintain the posture they tell you to have. They require emtying all pockets before boarding rides, and also remove glasses (they didn't even allow using goggles). They have free lockers at each ride. There are some vegan options in the food court (vegan ramen and curry). Amusement park food, not bad but not good either. there is also a Starbucks with some vegan snacks and vegan lattes. When we were there the lines were very short, so we would probably could have done without the priority tickets we bought. But I read and heard that in most times the lines are very long, and priority passes are recommended. We bought everything in the fuji Q website - if the site crashes, try turning off the google translation - it worked for us.
עמוס ר — Google review
We got there right as they opened and there were little to no lines which was great. We were able to get through a few rides in just over an hour which is awesome! As the day progressed, the lines did start to get longer, but we definitely got our money's worth with the day pass. I think the longest we waited for a ride was about an hour. Also, the views of Fujisan were breathtaking! Especially from the top of the highest roller-coasters. Definitely will visit again next time we are in Japan!
Bradford S — Google review
A must if you visit Fuji area. Not that crowded during autumn season, no long lines. Really fun amusement park. Great viewing spot of Fuji. Really cool roller coasters and also a really good and huge Haunted House of 3 floors or so. Available different types of food: recommend the curry pan. Naruto themed area was really fun and entrance has a direct train station: easy to visit.
Alexandra R — Google review
We went on a Autumn Thursday so there weren't that much lines! We were able ride all the rides that were open that day. They closed some down pretty early like the pizzala and the paniclock. I think Dodonpa closed down. However, the must-try rides for speed and thrill that are usually open are Fujiyama, Takabisha (the vertical drop was amazing), Eejanaika(fast and fun), and Zokkon. The Naruto village was a great place for me since Im a Naruto fan!
Ian F — Google review
The world’s longest and insane rollercoaster with a 3.5 g force. People who love the thrill. Can’t recommend enough. We stayed at the hotel in the park and get early pass into the park. I upgraded my room to the theme rooms and it was like living in the world of Lisa and Gaspard. Closest view of Mt. Fuji when your at the highest point on the coaster.
Iva T — Google review
We visited on a weekday and it was not too crowded actually. Most visitors are local Japanese. The park has English translations at every ride and facility. It was not difficult to navigate in the park as foreigners. We were thrilled at some of the rides and totally appreciated the effort being put in designing such rides. The longest wait we did was around 80 minutes but it could be longer on weekends. Purchase fast passes if needed. You will need to register for facial recognition right before entering as every ride will require that facial scanning for you to enter. Clean park. Excellent food options. Restaurants and food stalls charged reasonably and food actually tasted good.

Oishi Park is a picturesque spot situated on the northern edge of Lake Kawaguchiko, offering breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. The park boasts vibrant flower fields featuring tulips, lavender, and begonias from late April to October, creating a colorful backdrop against the iconic mountain. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the only island and bridge in the Fuji Five Lakes area, with Unoshima island being a significant cultural site.
Oishi Park is a scenic park located in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan, near the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. It's famous for its stunning views of Mount Fuji, especially during the spring and autumn months. The park has beautifully landscaped gardens with walking paths, a lovely rose garden, and a great spot for picnics. One of the highlights is the Oishi Park Flower Garden, which blooms with a variety of flowers, including lavender, sunflowers, and chrysanthemums. During certain seasons, the park hosts various flower festivals. It's also a popular spot for photography, thanks to the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and the tranquil setting around the lake.

This is a beautiful park. I love the well tended gardens. We came during autumn and was delighted to see the fiery kochia bushes in spectacular bloom. The backdrop of the lake and mount fuji really made this park a very popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The whole park is so well kept and clean. The facilities such as parking and lavatories are also readily available. There are shops here which sells snacks and you can enjoy your coffee and snacks with a fantastic view of the park, the lake and the mountain in the background. If you don't want to leave without any mementos, there are also souvenir shops here and plenty of well positioned platforms for photographers.
Gevs — Google review
Oishi Park is one of the most beautiful spots around Lake Kawaguchi to enjoy a clear and unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. The park is very well maintained with colorful seasonal flowers that change throughout the year, making it perfect for photography and a relaxing stroll. The walking paths are clean and easy to explore, with benches where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. There are also small shops and cafes nearby selling local snacks, souvenirs, and ice cream, which is great for a short break while enjoying the scenery. This place is especially stunning on a clear day when Mount Fuji appears in full view behind the flower fields — truly postcard-worthy. Highly recommended for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone visiting the Kawaguchiko area. A must-visit spot if you want one of the best Mount Fuji views in Japan!
Merwin L — Google review
Basically one of the most beautiful places I’ve been in my entire life. We went visit on summer and the lavenders were so pretty. Here you can see the Mount Fuji in its best shape, absolutely gorgeous. I’m so happy because I had added this place to my trip schedule… incredible.
Isadora A — Google review
Oishi Park has long been the go-to viewpoint of Fujisan...and for a good reason. It really does offer a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji as it towers over the landscape. It also offers a decent view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The only downside is the high influx of tourists throughout the day. The place is always crowded. If you are like me who wants to enjoy Mt. Fuji without the hustle and bustle of the park, try biking around Lake Kawaguchiko and you'll find a more peaceful place to bask in the glory of Mt. Fuji. Trust me, there's a lot of perfect spots along the lake. I'd encourage you to discover it yourselves. 😉
Layla P — Google review
Oishi Park exceeded my expectations. The park is extremely well kept, with seasonal flowers blooming everywhere and an unbeatable panoramic view of Mt. Fuji right in front of you. It’s spacious, relaxing, and perfect for taking photos or just enjoying the scenery. Plenty of cafés and shops nearby as well. A wonderful place to unwind—highly recommended!

I visited Oishi Park in Kawaguchiko, and it was a very pleasant experience. The park is well-maintained, clean, and offers a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchiko with Mt. Fuji in the background. It is one of the best places to enjoy scenery and take photos. The walking paths are easy and comfortable, and the seasonal flowers make the park look colorful and peaceful. There are also small shops and cafes nearby where you can relax and enjoy local products.
Sajjan G — Google review
Such a beautiful place to see Mount Fuji from the waters edge, behind their flower field and heights from the cafe. It is quite busy here so it does get quite hard to move around but they make up for it with lots of places to take pictures. The ice-cream here is amazing and they have so many flavours to choose from, our favourite being their grape selection! There are also various markets along the way to Oishi park so get off early and check some of them out too!!

Chureito Pagoda, located in Arakurayama Sengen Park, offers an iconic view of Mt. Fuji and is a popular spot for capturing picturesque photos. Accessible via 398 steps, the pagoda stands behind the five-story structure and provides a stunning backdrop of the mountain. While it can get crowded during cherry blossom season and autumn, visiting in February may offer a quieter experience with fewer visitors.
I went at 5:30am in the morning thinking the crowd wouldn't be so bad. There definitely was a crowd there to see the iconic view of the pagoda and Mt Fuji. But the crowd wasn't too intense. Majority like minded "travellers". Too early for the mainstream tourist and influencer wannabes. The next time I think I would go just before daybreak and watch the sun rise over the majestic mountain. If you're thinking about taking the stairs up, it is a bit of a hike up, so be prepared. Don't be ashamed to have a stop and drink some water. There's a toilet at the top as well. And if you want the trail continue into the mounting going to the other side toward Lake Kawaguchi.
Bobby P — Google review
Chureito Pagoda: Great Effort, Small Reward The visit to the Chureito Pagoda is a classic example of excessive effort for an insufficient payoff—unless, of course, you luck out with the perfect day. The frustration begins immediately: an exorbitant parking fee of 1,000 JPY is demanded on almost every street corner, giving the feeling of being squeezed by tourists even before starting the climb. Next comes the exhausting ascent up hundreds of steps. This is a significant physical effort that certainly leaves visitors with high expectations for what awaits them at the top. But to great disappointment, the pagoda itself is not particularly impressive. It's nice, but it hardly justifies the arduous climb. In fact, the entire experience hinges on visibility: If you are lucky enough to have a clear, sunny day where Mount Fuji is revealed in all its glory and perfectly frames the red pagoda, then the picture is worth a million yen, and the effort is justified. However, if you arrive on a hazy, cloudy, or simply low-visibility day, the whole experience turns into a waste of precious time and energy. Bottom Line: It's only worth visiting if you are absolutely certain that the visibility to Mount Fuji's peak will be perfect.
Yariv K — Google review
We visited this place during the second week of October 2025. We had booked a Mount Fuji tour on Klook, the guide took us to Oshino Hakkai, Lawson station, Lake Kawaguchigo and this pagoda was our last stop near this area. Our guide said that it would take just 30 minutes to go upstairs for a healthy person. I managed to climb the first 50 steps but my leg started giving up. I even felt nauseous and sat in between for a while. Then I had a sudden rush of adrenaline and started analysing why am I here at Japan if I can’t even climb 500 stairs to goto a viewpoint. Then I slowly started again and took break between every 15/20 steps. My husband whom I had asked to go earlier had already reached the top and made a new friend from Mexico and was talking to him. He was delighted to see that I made it, I was over the moon because I never gave up. The view of Mount Fuji was incredible. On our way back we shared a lot of stories with the Mexican friend. Overall a wholesome experience.

Quick Summary: Chureito Pagoda The Chureito Pagoda is a five-story red pagoda located in Fujiyoshida City, near Lake Kawaguchiko. It is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built in 1963 as a peace memorial. It is widely considered one of the most iconic photography spots in all of Japan. The View of Mount Fuji The "Classic" Shot: The view is famous for a specific composition: the red pagoda in the foreground, the city of Fujiyoshida below, and the massive Mount Fuji symmetrically centered in the background. Accessibility: To see this view, you must hike up to the observation deck behind the pagoda. The "Sacrifice": Be prepared to climb 398 steps (approx. 15–20 minutes) to reach the top. There is also a winding ramp for a gentler, though longer, ascent. It felt more like 500 steps than 398. On the day we went, clouds obscured MT. FUJI, so we took the photos without the iconic views of the mountain, if planning to come, pray for clear weather. Its crowded full of tourists.
George F — Google review
On our trip to Japan, my wife really wanted to see Mount Fuji from this top rated location. Not many people know that there is a dedictaed website that shows visibility level of Mount Fuji and provides hourly updates. We took a bus from Tokyo (Shinjuku station) to Chuodo Shimo Yoshida station and walked to the pagoda to see this stunning view. The walk to the entrance of pagoda is about 20 minute and then up to the pagoda is another 15-20 minute hike but definitely worth it.
Rushi G — Google review
We arrived at 715am on a cloudy October Tuesday morning. The pagoda is surrounded by beautiful forest, the observation deck serves to give you that magic photo with the pagoda and Mt Fuji behind it. We didn’t see the mountain today but it was still a beautiful sight. There is quite a walk to get to the pagoda up stairs or going around a winding path. There were signs warning you about bears (we didn’t see any) and there were hardly any people at this time of day. You can bring your dog for a nice walk too if you like. Parking is available, it seems you must pay for all or most of them but it’s worth it. It’s sad we didn’t get the ‘magic’ shot but it was a peaceful walk in a lovely area.
Kyle W — Google review
Always crowded because of its reputation. If you want to see Mt Fuji without cloud, must come there at 9AM maximum ! A lot of small restaurants around and free toilets (pretty dirty tho). Nice colors and beautiful view on the giant ! Bus line at 10mn !
Romain — Google review
Visiting Chureito Pagoda was such a rewarding experience. Be prepared for a bit of a climb — there are quite a number of stairs — but the view at the top makes every step worth it. I checked the weather before going, which I strongly recommend. On a clear day, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, and if you’re lucky, you’ll even get a perfect view of Mt. Fuji behind the pagoda. If it’s not raining or too cloudy, the photos and the atmosphere are stunning. Overall, a must-visit spot for anyone traveling around Kawaguchiko. The climb may be a little tiring, but the payoff is unforgettable🌸🗻✨

Oshino Hakkai is a picturesque village located in Oshino Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, between Yamanaka Lake and Kawaguchi Lake. The village features eight ponds known as the "eight seas of Nunye," which are fed by melted snow water from Mount Fuji. This natural filtration process results in cool and pure spring water that has been revered for over 1,200 years.
A very special indeed museum village which is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The village has 8 ponds which are considered sacred to the pilgrims who go to visit Fujisan. On a perfect day you can see the best views of Mount Fuji from the village. There is no entrance fee to visit the ponds and the village. Also a great Market is at the entrance to the village on the right side. Against a fee of 300 Yen we visited also the Hannokibayashi Folklore Museum. I personally recommend 2 hours for the visit. If you are coming by car a lot of parking spaces are near the entrance ( 200 - 300 meters by foot ). On the road from the parking spots to the main village entrance are a lot of tasty foos stalls. We ate some tasty fried baby octopuses, some Wagyu Skewers and some super tasty donuts. Jump over if you are in the region. It worth it.

This place was beautiful and amazing to visit and experience. Even though it was a cloudy day, the spring waters were clear and beautiful. This place stays crowded, but you can escape that. Many places to try snacks and foods. The souvenir shops had a lot of good items. You can purchase fruits and many local foods. Their are walkable areas to enjoy some quietness. If you can book a group tour, it's better.

Oshino Hakkai is a beautiful and serene village area known for its crystal-clear spring ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt. The entire place feels calm and refreshing, with traditional thatched-roof houses and charming bridges adding to the scenic appeal. The ponds are incredibly clear, offering amazing reflections and views of the aquatic plants beneath. There are also small shops and snack stalls around, making it a pleasant place to walk, explore, and enjoy local flavors. A peaceful and picturesque stop that perfectly complements any Mt. Fuji or Lake Yamanaka trip.
Abhishek N — Google review
The village is enchanting and beautiful. It was crowded even at 9 am in the morning. The tranquility of the ponds and their crystal clear waters are amazing. Don't miss a visit to this enchanting village. There is also a small market with tax free that offers a variety of typical and touristic gifts.
Cynthia G — Google review
Meh... too many tourists. Bus loads! The place is too small to accommodate so many visitors. Overrated. There are many other alternatives in the area. Come only if you Xtra time or if you didnt plan your itinerary carefully and don't know where else to go. Me? I walked around for 10mins and left.
Vince C — Google review
When I visited, the place was packed to the point where it was hard to even move around . Taking a simple photo without someone stepping into the shot was nearly impossible. The tranquility that the location is supposed to offer gets lost when you’re shoulder to shoulder with large tour groups. Strongly recommended to visit early in the morning 🌅 Oshino Hakkai is absolutely beautiful. The ponds are so clear you can practically see into another dimension, and the backdrop of Mount Fuji looks like someone turned the saturation up to 200. It should be a peaceful, serene village… but apparently everyone had the exact same idea the day I went.
Filippos M — Google review
Beautiful place but very crowded with tourists. It’s better to visit early morning. Very comfortable to walk with your pet there. There is souvenir shop and food seller, I’ll recommend to try their mugwort rice cake and japanese peach tea.
Diva A — Google review
Very cute village and lots of vendors. However, some Chinese tourists were acting absolutely crazy over the water fountain to taste the spring water. They brought 5L water bottles to fill up the water and did not follow the line as they didn’t want to wait their turn. In that sense, the experience was terrible but nothing against the village. It’s quaint and beautiful.

The Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum is a must-visit for music enthusiasts. Housed in a charming European-style building, the museum showcases a remarkable collection of antique automatic musical instruments dating back to the early 1900s, including an orchestrion originally intended for the Titanic. Visitors can enjoy daily performances by these instruments as well as weekly live operas and other musical events, with a focus on weekends.
This remarkable attraction combines the charm of a meticulously crafted French village with an extraordinary collection of automated musical instruments, creating an experience that feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Modeled after French architecture, every building showcases beautiful Cinderella-castle-style design that provides endless photographic opportunities throughout the grounds. I arrived late in the day when Mount Fuji was completely obscured by clouds, having exhausted other sightseeing options, and entered more out of curiosity than expectation. What I discovered was far beyond anything I had anticipated. The admission fee includes access to scheduled musical performances featuring massive automated organs, live opera singers, and grand automated music organ concerts that demonstrate incredible engineering and artistry from a bygone era. What truly impressed me was witnessing the staff’s dedication during closing time, as they carefully maintained and adjusted the numerous antique automated instruments with obvious expertise and care. This daily ritual speaks to their commitment to preserving these mechanical marvels for future visitors, ensuring each performance maintains its magical quality. The gift shop offers an extensive selection of music boxes in various sizes and musical selections, plus unique items like violins. While perhaps not as comprehensive as Hokkaido’s famous Otaru music box shops, the quality and sound of their music boxes are genuinely beautiful and worth considering as souvenirs. The magical climax of my visit occurred when the clouds suddenly parted, revealing Mount Fuji in perfect view from the French village setting. This unexpected moment created an absolutely breathtaking backdrop that had every visitor frantically capturing photos of the stunning combination of European architecture and Japan’s most iconic mountain. The contrast between the French-style buildings and the majestic mountain created such a surreal, picture-perfect scene that it felt almost too beautiful to be real. This destination successfully combines cultural education, musical entertainment, architectural beauty, and natural scenery into one cohesive experience that appeals to visitors of all ages and interests.

This place is just awesome and full of music. Live music events during the day in different halls. I really don’t know how to describe the place , it’s a big museum and shop together all around music. All in one it worth paying the entrance fee - 1500 Yen / pers. At the entrance you’ll receive a leaflet with the music events ( hour and hall ) and I warmly recommend to see them. We saw that there is also a restaurant on site. Didn’t enter so we cannot say hoe it is. If you are in the area and you are a music lover and love to see musical instruments we highly recommend this place. By the way there are o lot of shops with wonderful stuff. We spent there approx 2,5 hours. If you are coming by car there is a huge parking place just across the street , just in front of the museum on the other side of the road. Enjoyyyyyy !!!!

The best museum I have ever been too; however, I am biased since I collect music boxes. The performances were amazing and the self-playing instruments that they had on display were some of the most interesting and biggest I have seen. These machines are all in great condition and have obviously been fully restored. It was amazing to see a skilled opera singer perform with antiques music boxes. This made for a very unforgettable experience and was my favorite part of our trip to Japan. Very excited for my next visit.

Hidden gem of Kawaguchiko! You can make your own music box in the gift shop. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend this place. It will be one of the most memorable souvenirs you will ever have. Also the views of Fujisan were beautiful!

We saw the Moving Kamishibai Sand art storytelling artists backed by live musicians. It was spectacular and very moving. Highly recommended! Wish we had more time to discover the rest of the performances...

A wonderful and enjoyable experience for everyone, worth attending and spending some time doing all the exhibits you can. Very eye opening to the history of music and can easily find yourself spending hours learning new things and having a good time.

Visited on a rainy day thinking it would be a good wet weather activity but the museum is mostly not sheltered, except the performance halls. Nonetheless, they provided umbrellas that made exploring the museum much more enjoyable despite the weather. I only managed to catch two performances—the opera and organ— and thoroughly enjoyed both. I definitely regret not arriving earlier to experience more of them. The gift shop also has many interesting souvenirs, especially music boxes for a variety of music pieces, from classical to pop or even studio ghibli tunes. I would really suggest setting some time aside to browse even if you don't intend to buy anything. Lastly, the museum was pretty with flowers and photo spots, and I even managed to catch a glimpse of mt fuji despite the bad weather. Would definitely come back again next time!

A must visit for those who likes old pianos and musical instruments--this place has a massive collection. We were able to catch one "Opera" performance and the Opera Singer was really good! You can tour around the place for about an hour, it's quite small. I liked that they have a shop of Studio Ghibli merch! But if you prefer to be with nature, or not really a fan or old organs and recorders, you can skip this.

The Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway offers a thrilling cable car ride that takes you to Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park, where an observation deck at 1,075 meters provides breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps. The 3-minute ascent treats visitors to unobstructed panoramas over Lake Kawaguchiko, with the added bonus of colorful maple foliage during the autumn season.
Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway is a beautiful experience overall, even though today’s visit came with a few drawbacks. The wait time was around 60 minutes, so be prepared for a fairly long queue before you actually board the cable car. Once on board, the ride itself is short but scenic, gliding smoothly over the trees and giving you a gradual reveal of the surrounding landscape and lakeside area. Unfortunately, Fuji was not visible today due to cloud cover, which can be a real possibility depending on weather conditions.Even without a view of the mountain, the top station still offers a lovely vantage point over the city and Lake Kawaguchiko area. The panorama of the town, water, and hills is genuinely beautiful and makes the climb and wait feel more worthwhile. The observation areas are well laid out, with plenty of spots to pause, take in the scenery, and click photos. The ropeway is a good experience if you enjoy views and don’t mind crowds or queues, but checking the weather beforehand is important, especially if your main goal is to see Mt Fuji. On clear days, this ride can easily become one of the highlights of a Fuji trip.
Hitesh- A — Google review
It can get very busy, so buy your tickets in advance. Once you buy a ticket, you will receive a number, which serves as your queue number for the ropeway. My number was 1157 and it took about 40 minutes before it was called and I boarded the ropeway. At the top of Mt. Tenjo, you get a stunning view of Mt. Fuji on one side and Lake Kawaguchiko on the other. It is really worth the waiting time. If you are adventurous, you can also hike Mt. Tenjo since there is a trail leading to the ropeway. I chose to hike going down to Lake Kawaguchiko. It took me about 30 minutes and the trail is beautiful. So my recommendation: take the ropeway going up, then hike going down.
JP T — Google review
This is very much a tourist thing, and I loved it 🤣 I chose perhaps the worse day of my kawaguchiko trip with rain and mist, and yet the views were still stunning. The ride up allows for a fantastic viewing and only takes around two minutes. Once up there, you have a shrine, love bell, swing and several rabbit and tanuki statues. The store is good value with friendly staff and ice cream is available. On my visit I basically went straight up without queuing, however I have passed (during brighter weather) and the queues can get crazy. For the price it's totally worth doing!
Scott C — Google review
Plenty of things to do here. The cable cart ride itself was short but it's views were immaculate. Plenty of scenic spots with photos to be taken at sunset. Watch for crowds and lines may be long. I'd recommend coming here during early morning on a weekday. Souvenirs are also plenty available.
Justus U — Google review
Came here as part of a tour package. If you are willing to wait for the ropeway up, you can get a fantastic view of Mt Fuji. This is probably one of the best views of Fuji that you can get. However, the wait for the ropeway ride up is really long. Im talking around 1hr 15mins wait and probably another 45mins wait to come down. Its better if you come here on your own rather than on tour because there are time restrictions with a tour group and once we got up there, we only had literally 5 to 10 mins to walk around and see before we needed to come down or we would have missed our tour group departure time.
SL W — Google review
The Kawaguchiko Ropeway is a great spot to get a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Unfortunately, I wasn’t very lucky during my visit, and the mountain was mostly hidden by clouds. The ride itself is short but fun, and the viewpoint is still enjoyable with nice scenery around Lake Kawaguchi. I’d love to come back again when the weather is better to see the full view of Mt. Fuji.
Muslika L — Google review
We went in Summer Aug 2025. Very nice views, easy and short ride up. We went in the morning 9am+ so no queue at all. The area on top is not big.. just one snack shop and one souvenir shop, as well as the swing. Quite easy walk, so won't take long up there, other than the ropeway queues. There was a very long queue when we came down back around 10am+ We were there a day earlier in the cloudy afternoon 3pm+ and the ropeway was closed due to potential lightning. So do come by earlier if you don't wanna miss this place. No, that wasn't Mt Fuji's ash cloud, just the normal cloud trying to be funny...
TC J — Google review
Definitely worth the view of Mt Fuji. The lines were a bit long and the cable car was crowded but that wasn’t too bad. The views are breathtaking. There is a nice trail at top of you wanted to take it.

Narusawa Ice Cave is a small lava tube cave located near Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko in Japan. It features pillar-like ice formations during the winter months, reaching as far as 21 meters underground. The cave was formed by the eruption of Mt. Nagao in 864, which hollowed out vast underground caverns.
An incredible experience visiting this place. I went during the summer, and although it was scorching hot outside, the temperature dropped drastically as soon as I entered. Even though the cave isn’t very deep, the difference in temperature was significant. The route wasn't very long either, but it was enough to make me shiver from the cold
Fireflies 9 — Google review
Ice cave is wonderful to get away from the hot weather. I was worried by their maps that made it look like we could run into a room with water or fall down a tunnel, but the handrails kept us on path. It is a short 20 mins but be warned the stairs and passages are steep, wet, and can be slippery. There is one narrow and low ceiling passage of about 20 feet. There is a couple of places with low ceiling to duck down. I would not recommend this if you have mobility problems and a couple of sections gets dark. There are bars to hold onto but one bar seemed a little wobbly. You can use one of their free helmets but there were only 5 total helmets there— there was one other group of 3 people at the cave while we were there and they didn’t have helmets so not sure if the facility only has 5 helmets for all visitors. There is one section that has the ice to see on the left and right. When we went, there didn’t seem to be as much ice as other people’s pictures. It was cool to see the natural ice formation and not something I would go out of your way for, but if you are in the area and interested in geology then drop by. They also had clean restrooms.
Pam D — Google review
Cheap but cheerful cave experience amongst beautiful naturescape. Visit during winter to see ice pillars. We visited in autumn & signs pre-warned ice pillars had melted, so we knew what to expect. Still went for the experience! Steep but short climb down 21m. Cold, so prepare accordingly. Watch your head for low hanging rocks. A short section where we had to pretty much crawl through - a unique experience! Take as long as you like, but approx 10min round trip. 1.4km trail walk (30min) to Wind Cave - can purchase combo tickets. Well worth it for something different and a bit of a nature walk. But you can also drive there.
Alex C — Google review
A unique and memorable stop near Mount Fuji. The Narusawa Ice Cave takes you through narrow lava-tube tunnels with impressive ice formations that stay frozen all year. It’s short (so take your time and make the most of it) but fascinating, about a 20-minute walk through chilly, dim passages that feel like an underground adventure. It can be slippery and tight in spots, even a section to almost crawl, so wear good shoes and a light jacket. The staff are friendly, and signs are available in English and Japanese. Great to pair with the nearby Fugaku Wind Cave for a full experience. Easy to access by car, plenty of parking onsite and leading into, or local bus, and well worth the visit if you’re exploring the Fuji Five Lakes area. There is a gift shop attached where you can also purchase food items. We also visited the Wind Cave, this experience was a little more comfortable, ticket entry can be purchased for both caves at each site.

Narusawa Ice Cave is another place I visited during my trip to Mt. Fuji. Visiting this ice cave offers a great opportunity for physical activity and exercise. I'm glad I can handle it. The Narusawa Ice Cave is not particularly impressive. However, it's fun if you have a whole group of friends who can go together.
Michael W — Google review
Although short, the ice cave is a unique and refreshing experience. Even in summer, it’s cold inside, and the crouching and squeezing through narrow passages to go deeper makes it all the more fun.
Upasana P — Google review
Located in the Aokigahara Forest at the northwestern foot of Mt. Fuji, Narusawa Ice Cave is a small lava tube formed about 1,150 years ago during one of Fuji’s eruptions. The temperature inside remains around 0–3°C throughout the year, allowing impressive ice formations to persist even in summer. The walking path is short — about 150 meters — leading down a narrow, slippery tunnel with solidified lava walls and a distinct chill in the air. Two main chambers display preserved ice: one illuminated with soft blue light, the other protected behind metal bars. A full visit takes around 10–15 minutes, and while it’s interesting from a geological perspective, the experience can feel brief — essentially a short descent to view the ice and back. It’s best to buy a combined ticket that includes Fugaku Wind Cave nearby, for a more complete and rewarding visit to the Fuji Five Lakes Geopark area

Not recommen for old person .take a jacket to go in it cold inside.take around 15 min walk down deep in the cave.we was there in hot summer bjt stil vely cool inside. Some place inside is very tinny and ice melt so becare full it very sleppe in there .

Kawaguchiko Station serves as the main transportation hub in the Kawaguchiko area, offering access to various tourist centers and specialty stores. It is also the terminal station for trains connecting to Mount Fuji and Atami. Travelers can explore different routes on the map, with a recommended option being to take a bus to Mishima Station and then transfer to a train bound for Atami.
Kawaguchiko station is the last station of the Fujikyuko line. It's also pit stop for the highway buses and other JR train lines, Fuji excursion also stops at this station. If you're coming from Tokyo, it's best to take highway bus or the express train from Shinjuku to this train station. There are cafe and souvenir stores here. There are also many lockers situated inside and outside the station which would be helpful for those travelling with multiple luggages. And you can get a perfect mount fuji views also from this train station with trains in the photos.
Syaza — Google review
A small and often overcrowded station, especially during peak tourist seasons. The disorganization and chaotic atmosphere make it feel quite different from the usual efficiency found in Japan. Given the number of international visitors, it would be helpful if the staff spoke better English. Lockers are available but are more expensive than those in regular train stations. Overcrowded, messy, and somewhat disorienting, the station struggles to handle the high volume of tourists efficiently. Despite these inconveniences, it remains a key gateway to exploring the beautiful Fuji Five Lakes area.
Ryan G — Google review
If you're planning to visit Lake Kawaguchiko, Kawaguchiko Station is your essential starting point. All major bus and train lines begin or end here, making it the central hub for travelers heading to the lake and surrounding areas. The station itself is small but convenient - you'll find a souvenir shop, a fruit stand, and a tourist information center right next door. And just a 2-minute walk away is everyone's favorite - the Lawson convenience store with Mt. Fuji, and it is perfect for grabbing snacks or last-minute essentials.
Hellseeker — Google review
Beautiful train station! Definitely worth the trip up from Tokyo. The staff are all so kind and polite and willing to help you with whatever you need. There are lockers to rent if you want to store any bags so you can explore freely. It’s a beautiful town overall and I would highly recommend a day trip up here for sure. Make sure you take a note of the last train departures so you don’t get stuck! Although it would be a lovely place to be stranded, for sure 🤗
Ben S — Google review
The station is very tourist-friendly, with helpful staff and clear guidance. Right outside, you’ll find a map of Kawaguchiko and a guide to bus stops for different routes—Stop 1 for Oishi Park and Stop 6 for Oshino Hakkai/Yamanakako. Facilities include restrooms, a souvenir shop, and, around 11 AM, a coffee and pastry truck that sets up near the vending machines. There are also fresh fruit shops nearby. The view of Mt. Fuji towering behind the station was breathtaking. I spent some time taking photos in the parking lot with the train car—a scene I had often seen on the Kawaguchiko Facebook page.
Oh S — Google review
This is the station for the buses and trains going to and from Lake Kawaguchiko. The station is fairly small compared to stations in Japan, but there's your usual coin lockers (coin only, there's a coin changer), souvenir shop and a toilet. The station exterior is a great spot for taking photos of Mt. Fuji, just check my photos . To go to the famous Arakuyama Sengen park, just ride the local train to Shimoyoshida station.

Beautiful place. Mount Fuji can be seen very well from here, because the temple is much higher than the plains. The temple is very interesting to see. Everyday, many visitors come to visit this temple. Paid Parking 🅿️ available ✅

Absolutely stunning view point. It’s beautiful at sunrise. I imagine a little nicer than sunset only due to the direction of the sunrise. It would be beautiful to see with a snow capped mountain. Let’s of stairs to climb, but the payoff is worth it.

Sensō-ji Temple is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere walking through the gates and along Nakamise Street is unforgettable — vibrant yet still spiritual once you reach the temple itself. The architecture is stunning, and the surrounding area is full of history and culture. Definitely worth the visit!
Janine C — Google review
Absolutely stunning view. It's no coincidence that it's featured in many a travel photographers profile or book about Japan. It took us underneath a quarter of an hour to get to the top - theoretically, as you almost reach the top there's a queue waiting for the viewing platform. It's very crowded, not all people are friendly and polite and the whole experience is at the beginning (depending on your arrival time) a rather stressful one. But the views make up for it, no matter the time of day or the time of year. Photography advice: 16 to 24mm for the grand vista shots, up to 70 for details. Tripod is possible if wanted, but mind some people bumping into it. Theres facilities, the locals try the best to keep them clean, which is unfortunately not so easy as it seems.
Thomas P — Google review
Visiting Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine in November was one of the most beautiful moments of our Japan trip. The entire hillside was covered in fiery red autumn leaves, and every step felt like walking into a postcard. The colours were so bright and vivid that we stopped many times just to take them in. There are two main ways to reach the famous viewpoint near the Chureito Pagoda. The first is the long staircase almost 400 steps that climbs steadily up the mountain. It can be a bit tiring, but it’s shaded by trees and gives you peaceful moments to enjoy the autumn colours along the way. The second option is to take the road that winds up to a small parking area near the top. From there, it’s a much gentler walk, perfect if you prefer something easier. Once you reach the top, the scenery is absolutely worth it. The view of Mount Fuji rising behind the pagoda is breathtaking, especially in November when the red leaves frame the scene perfectly. We arrived in the late morning, and the mountain was clear, glowing softly under the sun. It felt like a moment you just want to stand still and appreciate.
Filippos M — Google review

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba is a reconstructed traditional Japanese village where visitors can explore old houses and even rent traditional clothing. It offers a glimpse into the countryside of Japan in ancient times. The village is located near Mt. Fuji, providing an iconic view of the sacred mountain from the Chureito Pagoda.
This was a beautiful traditional village with a fantastic view of the mountains. Unfortunately, we went during rainy season so it was very cloudy that day and we were not able to see Mt. Fuji. However, there are still amazing breathtaking views from the top of the traditional village. The people in the village are so kind and the gifts shops have so many unique items. One shop did take card and I bought a few ceramic sake cups with a beautiful design. There were different areas that had historical meaning and plaques to understand the area better. There were a few vendors at the base of the village that only accepted cash but they sold tasty smelling snacks and other treats. I have already made up my mind to come back when its not rainy season and I can see Mt. Fuji.

This is a quaint small museum village, a real experience like taking a trip back in time. We just loved the place. Loved the traditional Japanese old style houses , it’s just amazing to walk around them. Bu the way they have a school inside the village and they teach art and drawing. I was awesome seeing the kids sitting on the Tatami and drawing in a complete silent. Small boutique shops all around the village. To visit you have buy an entrance ticket - 500 Yen. We also took some pictures of Fujisan even it was a quite cloudy day. Please allow approx 2 hours for the visit. A big parking lot is at 150 meters from the entrance.

A picturesque traditional village that offers an escape from the city to the rich heritage of Japan. There was no queue at the ticketing booth when we arrived at around 1 pm on a weekday. So entrance was smooth and we were able to tour around the area immediately. Each hut offers different experiences and different glimpse from the past. Each hut showcases unique exhibits and activities that offers insights to the way of life back then. It's educational, interactive, qnd fun. The view is breathtaking and the atmosphere is very serene. Sadly, the visibility was poor when we visited, you can only see Mouny Fuji's silhoutte in the background, nonetheless, the village was absolutely breath taking and relaxing.

I'm not normally a fan of recreated things as think they are usually realky fake however I didn't get this feeling here. The village is only about 20 years old but is a replica of the old village. Its done really well and amazing to see the thatched work up close. Lots of varied souvenirs at each house plus a few fruit sellers and food stalls at the entrance. Toilets inside too. Plus if youre lucky great views of Fuji. I came here on a bus tour.

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba is a reconstructed traditional village that offers a glimpse into rural life at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The original settlement was destroyed by a landslide in 1966, and the site was reopened in 2006 as an open-air museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing Japan’s cultural heritage. The village consists of thatched-roof houses (kayabuki) now used as workshops, galleries, and small shops. Visitors can observe traditional crafts such as silk weaving, pottery, paper-making, natural dyeing, and hand embroidery, or join short hands-on workshops. Some houses display paintings and calligraphy, others sell local food, miso, sake, or handmade souvenirs. Even on a rainy day, the place has a quiet charm — green roofs covered in moss, narrow paths winding between wooden houses, and the soft sound of water flowing nearby. It’s an atmospheric stop that combines nature, craftsmanship, and a sense of peace true to its name: Iyashi-no-Sato, “Healing Village.” Admission: Adults: ¥500

Nestled on the outskirts of Kawaguchiko, one of the five lakes at the foot of Mount Fuji, is the Kubota Itchiku Art Museum. This museum is a tribute to the renowned textile artist Itchiku Kubota and showcases his work with kimonos and other art forms. The museum complex includes several buildings, a garden designed by Itchuku himself, and offers stunning views of Mount Fuji.
A very nice art museum of the artist and kimono designer Kubota Itchiku. The art works extend to the buildings and surrounding ground. The Kimono exhibition is the main part of the museum but be sure the walk the outside path for tranquility

Beautiful kimonos and interesting architecture. Great view of mt Fuji from their cafe. Takes about an hour to look around. The museum is quite small but very tranquil so you can sit relax and take in the view.
Kiranela チ — Google review
The museum is dedicated to the work of Itchiku Kubota, the artist who revived the lost tsujigahana dyeing technique and elevated it to the level of fine art. The current exhibition, “With the Sunset in Siberia,” features 26 kimono inspired by nature and the passage of time. Among them, “Burning Sun” (1986) stands out as one of Kubota’s most personal works, created in memory of his time as a war prisoner in Siberia — a piece that symbolizes endurance and hope in the face of hardship. The exhibition is displayed in a single, spacious hall housed within a pyramid-shaped building. A small garden with moss, stones, and a water feature surrounds the structure, and a tearoom adjacent to it serves matcha and traditional Japanese sweets. A quiet, reflective place — ideal for slowing down and appreciating the harmony of color, light, and emotion.

At first I was going to skip this place and than changed my mind. I am so glad I have changed my mind as it was one of the most beautiful museum I have ever visited. It is a very small museum but full of amazing works by the artist. The kimono are so magnificent that I could have looked at them for hours. The gardens surrounding the museum is a unique gem. Don't miss this museum if you are in the area.

Such a beautiful hidden gem. We came here on Golden Week and there were people but not giant crowds like in other places. They have a cafe a little pricy for small portions, but i guess you’re really paying for the nice view and ambience. Nice place to walk around and relax away from all the crowds.

This was a incredible experience! The building and gardens were amazing to explore and the exhibit was beautiful. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Photography is not allowed inside the exhibit area, but is permitted in the gardens. Also it is closed on Tuesdays so just keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Sorry, but I think it’s a waste of money to come here since it’s a bit pricy for what I get. (unless you like kimonos🙂) They have more souvenirs shops than art pieces. And you can’t take photos when see the arts and kimonos. They also have 2 sort of cafe inside. The backyard wasn’t special to me, Because it was spring? 🤔 I see similar yard in many shrine and it’s free. (I still give offering tho 🙏🏻)

Lake Motosu is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and is known for its stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji. It is the deepest lake among the five, with a maximum depth of about 122 meters. The water in the lake is incredibly clear, allowing visitors to see an upside-down reflection of Mt. Fuji, similar to that on the back of Japan's 1,000 yen note.
Went on a cloudy, snowy day, and it was still beautiful! The lake is a lovely color, and since it was the off season, it was peaceful.

Stayed in Lake Motosu for 2 nights at Motosu Phoenix in end Sep 2024. Love the tranquility of the surroundings as it was less crowded with tourists. Love the morning walk at the lake breathing in the fresh morning air.

This is one of the Fuji Mountain five Lakes and it’s further away from all other tourist attraction. The road along the lake is well maintained and quite peaceful with much less tourists. The view of Fuji Mountain is extraordinary with the calming lake.

Visited on 4th January 2024 . Since it was cloudy ☁️ from the morning mount fuji was seen very clearly and beautiful. There were many visitors on that day due to new year vacation. There is also free parking and restrooms 🚽 service available. Lake with a mount Fuji background and depth of nearly 400 ft. And is popular for camping 🏕️., boating 🛶 and fishing 🎣 . One can enjoy the nature very closely. I recommend this place for visit as it worth to visit and surrounding places is neat and clean.

The most mystery and tranquil lake of five-lake of Mount Fuji. Rent a car and drive to here is the best choice in my thought. I visited here in winter and I was very lucky that I could see whole beautiful Mount Fuji. With the lake and the tree on the lakeside, the view became an astonish landscape in my mind. Notice that the 本栖 lake is also printed on the 1000 Yen. It looks like the scene in the sakura season. I will come here and enjoy again.

Arakurayama Sengen Park is a picturesque park known for its stunning views of Mount Fuji, a vibrant five-storied pagoda, and seasonal cherry blossoms. The park's iconic landscape has been featured in various media and is a popular spot for capturing the beauty of Japan. With its majestic shrine and breathtaking scenery, it's no wonder that this park is considered one of the best places to view Mount Fuji in the Fuji Five Lakes area.
Gorgeous scenery when you make it all the way up to the outlook area. The walk can be tough, definitely prepare for the weather because you will get extremely hot climbing the 400+ steps up the mountain. Japan humidity is insane. Felt so lucky to see Mount Fuji so clearly on this day.

Going up was like hell. I’m not that fit, and those stairs really destroyed me. I had to catch my breath with every step I took. But once I got to the top, the view was absolutely mesmerizing. There was a big cloud covering Mount Fuji at first, so I waited and waited until the sky finally cleared. I’m glad I did, because after putting in all that effort, I didn’t want to just stare at clouds, lol. In the end, I’m really happy I made it up there and got to enjoy such a beautiful view.
Laloena A — Google review
I took the most iconic photo of Mt. Fuji in Arakurayama Sengen Park, and a real sense of accomplishment hit me after my eight day trip to Sapporo, Osaka, Nara, and Kobe. Seeing Mt. Fuji in real life felt like the icing on the cake of my Japan trip. Surprisingly, it is not only the view of the pagoda that is amazing. The park itself is stunning, with beautiful autumn leaves. In my opinion, it rivals the autumn colors in Hokkaido. The park can get busy, so it is best to arrive before the tour groups, preferably before 8:00 am. The photo area near the pavilion can be crowded, so do not expect to have it to yourself. From Kawaguchiko Station, take the local train to Shimoyoshida Station, then walk for about ten minutes. The pavilion is accessible after climbing roughly 400 steps. Highly recommended.

Iconic view of Mount Fuji and Chureito Pagoda! Arakurayama Sengen Park is breathtaking, especially during cherry blossom season. The iconic view of the red Chureito Pagoda with Mount Fuji in the background is unforgettable and perfect for photography. The park is well-maintained, peaceful, and offers a lovely walk up the stairs with scenic spots along the way. A must-visit for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting the classic Mount Fuji experience!

Described by the Japan National Tourism Organization as “A vividly hued park with an unbeatable view of Mt. Fuji”, it does precisely that provided the weather conditions permit. We came here last October 24. The day started rainy then cloudy. As the day progressed, the sun peeped a bit. Unfortunately, throughout these changes, Mt Fuji remained shy. We just had to content ourselves with some photo ops. There are 2 ways to climb to the top-one is an uphill slope while the other is through the stairs. Either choice, be sure to stop once in a while to appreciate the lush green surroundings and the cool, clean, crisp air. Climbing up and going down tickled our appetite so we bought some hot and sweet potato snacks. Fruits like grapes, oranges and apples were being sold at the bottom, too. Word of caution: The climb might be too taxing for seniors, persons with mobility issues and/or or people not used to walking uphill/climbing many flights of stairs. I personally enjoyed the hike that came with the view
Susie S — Google review
Honestly, a great view for Mt. Fuji viewing. However, lots of tourists takes you away from the mindset that you're going to visit shrines that are sacred to the Japanese. Also, beware the food places. Because of the heavy number of tourists, the prices of the food and parking have shot up relative to the average costs you see in the cities of Tokyo or Osaka. Make sure to bring food from a kombini if you don't want to spend inflated prices for fries or takoyaki at the food stands.
Enrico P — Google review
The place itself is of unparalleled beauty. I visited during Autumn and the colours of the Maple Corridor were surreal. The market is like any average tourist trap worldwide. Bad food, sketchy souvenirs, absurd prices. Highly recommended as a stop, once in a lifetime experience

Aokigahara Forest, located on the northern slopes of Mt. Fuji in Japan, is a lush and spacious natural monument known for its dense forest and rugged lava-rock floor. Despite its unfortunate reputation as a suicide forest, it attracts visitors with nature-rich hiking trails and captivating caves. The proximity to Mt. Fuji has resulted in a diverse landscape with volcanic rock formations throughout the forest.
Nice and relaxing walk. The air smells of urine but don’t worry it’s just sulphur from the volcanic deposits 🤣 I was a bit nervous because of its background story but there was nothing creepy. The ice cave was a bit low so be prepared…good to collect helmets from the entrance. Floors to the ice cave and wind cave are slippery, stick to the mats. Successful completed all the hiking routes with a five and nine year old.
Deepa M — Google review
This was a magical visit! The forest is mesmerizing, the vegetation is quite unique. It is at the bottom of Fuji mountain, so it frequently snows. There is an amazing serenity as it is deep nature and you only hear birds every so on. I personally don't recommend straying from the paved trails too much as it is very easy to get lost and there is poor connection on site. I had to climb a few hills to get reception, but I was still losing my north. A compass would be a good idea! Don't fully trust the paved path, it becomes overgrown and also flooded due to the snow sometimes. There are wild deers around that may cross your path, which makes the hike even more magical. Get there if you are adventurous enough.
Renzo L — Google review
Disappointment at the Wind and Ice Caves: Short, Cold, and Overrated My visit to the Wind and Ice Caves (Fugaku Fuketsu and Narusawa Hyōketsu) near the infamous Aokigahara Forest (Suicide Forest) left me with a strong feeling of significant overestimation. While the entrance fee of 300 JPY per cave is negligible, the value offered is arguably nil. Each cave is a matter of five minutes at most, making the entire "experience" incredibly brief, almost rushed. Any expectation of a marvelous subterranean natural wonder quickly dissolves against the reality of small, relatively unexceptional spaces. There simply isn't enough time or mass of ice and rock to create a lasting impression. For anyone seeking a deep adventure or truly extraordinary natural sights, this location can feel like a small, commercialized tourist trap that simply isn't worth the detour, even if the cost is not the main issue. In short: Too quick, too simple, and definitely did not meet expectations.
Yariv K — Google review
Aokigahara is unlike any forest I have visited. The landscape feels untouched, with dense moss, quiet paths, and light that filters through the trees in a way that feels almost otherworldly. Even on a well-marked trail, the stillness is striking. It is easy to understand why the forest carries a reputation for being mystical, because you genuinely feel a presence around you, not frightening but ancient and watchful. The experience is memorable and best approached with respect for both the environment and its cultural significance.
Jol F — Google review
Frightened from online reviews, however we tried. Wonderful forest, only few tourists on the way, silence and best walking in nature. Done from Bat cave up to wind cave (about 2.5km)
Flaminia C — Google review
Did anti-clockwise loop trekking(not too deep but just surface of the Aokigahara forest i believe). It really has some place easy lost as path missing & direction confuse but so far manageable although i loop inside for finding correct path almost 10-15min. Most flat road and easy to walk but only some confusion inside the wood. So far very enjoyable route but don't encourage newbie doing it. And doesn't feel very creepy as sunny day but it really almost empty and you walk alone inside the forest. i only saw 3-4 people at the whole trekking in 3hours. p.s. Offline map is must although compass still mess up sometimes & ribbon marks inside the wood cannot 100% trust.
Face I — Google review
✔️The forest is called the suic.i.d.e forest, somewhere on the way in there is a warning sign advising and asking to leave the phone number of relatives. Along the way there are existing pink or red ribbons tied to tree branches to guide the volunteers bring them back to their families. ✔️This area also has a road built by Subaru company that cars drive on it, it will create a sound to welcome to Fuji. It is really good rhythm. The mechanism to create this sound is the design of the road surface when the wheels grind down, it will create a musical note and create a piece of music. It is really special for travelers. Enjoy it when you visit this lovely mountain 💝💕
Thuha N — Google review
The path is nice and easy to walk. The wind Cave and Ice cave were really nice even tho most of the ice was already melted, yet you could see a lot of ice. And the caves are so cold, you should prepare for that! I believe the density of the trees are much higher deep into the forest.. the path is really fine and regular forest. Kinda wanted to witness the ropes everyone keeps talking about, beside trees you really see nothing. You should stay on the path otherwise you can get lost really easy!

Situated on the northern coast of Lake Kawaguchiko, it offers a closer vantage point to the majestic mountain compared to other viewing spots along the Red Line bus route.
According to the tourist information center this is the best spot for scenic photos. You get a nice view of the mountain with the lake. This is also where some of the buses stop. The center itself also has your basic amenities along with a place where you can sit down and eat with a nice view of mt Fuji.

Ide Sake Brewery, in operation for 21 years, stands out for its use of spring water sourced directly from Mount Fuji in the sake brewing process. The brewery offers two daily tours at 9:30 am and 3:00 pm, providing an insightful look into their traditional methods. Visitors can make advance reservations for approximately 500 Japanese Yen per tour.
I went there on a tour. The tours main thing is to show and tell how Sake is made in their brewery. You can even taste 5 different kinds of Sake in the end. You also get a small shot mug which you can take with you as a souvenir. The shop has a wide selection of different Sakes. They got sake bread, sake ice cream, sake candy, an exclusive non pasteurised sake (Only available here!) + many more. Of course, as it's a Sake brewery, its main focus is on making and selling their Sake. The staff speaks English well and understandably. They are very friendly and helpful when needed. You can ask them questions about Sake and as they are the Sake masters, they probably can answer your question. Like many other breweries, this one's also a family business. The tour goes the following way: first, how to make sake, then how they store it, then how they store their whisky, then you'll go outside to visit the garden and last but not least, you'll get inside a "classroom" to learn about different kinds of Sake. Everybody gets 5 shots of different sake, a sake poster which contains information about different kinds of sake, and the mug that you used to take shots with, goes with you. Overall, a nice tour that doesn't disappoint you at all. The location of this place is good, it's close to various hotels + to the local train station. Overall, I have to give this place a 5/5. Excellent work Ide Sake Brewery!

Checked out the Ide Sake Brewery today. I didn't do the tour, only the sake tasting. You buy 5 tokens and you can order 5 separate tasters of Sake. I believe there were 11 to chose from and 1 whiskey. We were fortune that the sun was out, so we sat in the courtyard. The lady working there was brilliant and explained the difference in the sake's and went through the process of making Sake with us. Would love to do the proper tour someday. Check it out if you are around the neighbourhood!

Must visit if you’re in Kawaguchi. Friendly helpful stuff and English speaking. The sake tasting is 825yen for 5 tokens and it’s self service automated. There’s 12 liquor for tasting including a ume wine and whiskey. A chart in English is available to describe each liquor character. The area for sake tasting is so relaxing and nice too. Highly recommended

Sadly we missed the tour due to delays with our flight, but the staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed a tasting and got some delicious bottles & ceramic sets to take back home. When we told the shopkeeper we were visiting on our honeymoon and were just happy to have made it in time before closing, they gave us a little charm to remember this wonderful experience. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves Sake!
Christian V — Google review
Visited Ide Sake Brewery (井出醸造店) on a Tuesday afternoon. The road leading there is very narrow, so be careful. There’s free parking, but it’s tight and tricky to navigate, especially if you drive a big car like our Alphard, it definitely requires some skill. They offer tours at 3pm, but since we arrived at 1pm, we didn’t join the tour and instead did the sake tasting. It costs about ¥800+ for 5 tokens, and the tasting was good. I especially recommend the Kakoi Special Junmai, limited availability, so I bought one for myself at ¥2,400. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Fun fact: Lee Hsien Loong has visited here too! Overall, a wonderful experience.

With Mt Fuji as the backdrop, Lake Kawaguichi is an incredible spot for visitors. We were fortunate to visit on a crisp, clear day and enjoyed beautiful views of the glistening lake and unobstructed visions of Mt Fuji. We visited in late Februray, and the temperature was hovering around 3°C, so come prepared with warm clothes! There's also a gift shop offering an expansive range of souvenirs, and the Oishi Park Cafe sells soft serve in its renowned grape and lavender flavours. (Eating an ice cream out in the biting cold was, however, a very chilly experience.) This place is 100% worth a visit!

Great from all angles, been here twice already and it is always breathtaking. What i propose is that instead of taking a bus around the lake. Take a short walk around the lake and if you would want to get to the parks down the road, then hop on to any bus then comes by. Dont ever miss out on a cooling walk by the lake which is honestly one of the most under rated things to do in Japan.

Don't underestimate this place, some may so it's a walk in the park but it's not. If you're not fit, you will suffer, especially if you plan on ascending and descending on the same day which is what I had done. I do a lot of walk and hike but this was the first proper mountain I had ever climbed. It wasn't so much of my fitness that was an issue, but rather, the altitude sickness. And yes, altitude sickness is real! About ⅔ into the climb, I started feeling the affects of it. For every few steps I went up in elavation, I kept stopping because I felt like hurling. Eventually, I threw up three times, at three different stages of the latter part of the climb. My companion on the other hand, who had never done this let alone walking or hiking, didn't suffer a bit. So it does differ in affects, from person to person. But having said that, do stay overnight and acclimatise for God's sake, as it will make the climb more pleasurable.

It's known for its peaceful ambiance and simplicity, making it a popular mid-way stop for visitors climbing the 400 steps up to the Chureito Pagoda. Tourists are drawn to the shrine's dragon fountain, which provides clean water and a sense of calm before entering.
The temple’s architecture is absolutely stunning — it feels just like ancient Japan. The trees along the entrance and inside the temple grounds are enormous, likely over a hundred years old. I’m not sure what kind of trees they are, but they add such a serene and majestic atmosphere to the whole place.
Panuwat P — Google review
Hidden among towering cedar trees in Fujikawaguchiko, Kawaguchi Asama Shrine was founded in 865 AD during the Jōgan era, following a major eruption of Mount Fuji. It was established to appease Konohanasakuya-hime, the goddess of Mount Fuji — a deity associated with life, beauty, and the delicate yet powerful forces of nature. The shrine belongs to the network of Asama Shrines that surround the sacred mountain, protecting the region from its fiery temperament. The entrance path lined with ancient cedars over 1,200 years old, known as the Seven Sacred Cedars (Nanahon-sugi), creates a solemn, almost otherworldly atmosphere. Each tree is said to embody a guardian spirit, and one of them — encircled by a sacred rope — is believed to grant wishes to those who approach it with sincerity. Architecturally, the shrine complex blends unpainted cypress structures with the vividly lacquered red and gold honden, the main hall, which stands as a symbol of reverence for Mount Fuji. The stone lanterns, sake barrels offered by local brewers, and the cherry blossom crest (sakura mon) adorning the lanterns are subtle reminders of the shrine’s deep cultural symbolism. Even after the official closing hour, the place retains a quiet dignity — the sound of rustling cedar branches and the faint scent of moss and wood evoke a sense of timeless peace. (Visited after hours, when the shrine grounds were empty — and perhaps because of that, even more profound.)

This is a beautiful shrine. It wasn’t too busy when we visited. I loved seeing the cedar trees. There is a beautiful walk up to a waterfall nearby. Also, if you are looking for something to eat before/after, there is an incredible cafe next door with great food/service/ views of Mount Fuji: ほっとcafeり楽S.
Clancy — Google review
It's small compare to many shrines especially in a big city. In return, its peace, quiet and you can take your time to appreciate it. Love the 1,200 yrs old tress.
Matthew K — Google review
I highly recommend that everyone visiting Mt. Fuji make a visit to Kawaguchi Asama Shrine, a cultural heritage site (you can refer to the shrine's website for more information). It's quite remarkable that any tree or building has existed for hundreds of years. I admire that. Shrine goshuin (stamps), souvenirs, and amulets are available. The environment is beautiful, quiet, and the air is fresh; it's a perfect place to spend an afternoon.
YUNG-HSIN L — Google review
One of the most beautiful places I've every visited. Nestled among ancient ceder trees is the temple and three or so shrines. The staff were very friendly and the goshuin stamp looks incredible. It's a small area but if your exploring the lakes, I can't recommend a trip here enough.
Scott C — Google review
A large, beautiful shrine nestled between huge cedar trees - beautiful. Even the cedar trees alone are worth seeing. The Torri gate at the entrance is also big and impressive.
Vincent O — Google review
Absolutely stunning. The giant Torii gate, the towering cedars, the glorious shrine, and the different places to walk around, from waterfalls to superlative views of Mount Fuji. A real Power Spot and totally worth the detour while cycling around Lake Kawaguchiko!

Lake Saiko Bat Cave is a captivating cavern located at the base of Mount Fuji, renowned for its volcanic rock formations and as a habitat for roosting bats. The cave offers an immersive experience, with visitors embarking on a pleasant walk through Aokigahara forest before reaching the entrance. Equipped with helmets, guests can explore two main routes within the cave, one of which involves maneuvering under the low cave ceiling.
It’s very cool learning about how these caves were formed over thousands of years from the volcano. It’s probably not the best place to go if you’re claustrophobic. You’ll be squatting and walking for some distance. It’s cooler in the cave which was an amazing break from the blaring sun. Tickets are 350 yen and we were in and out in about an hour since we checked out the free museum (all in Japanese) and gift shop. The museum was interesting to learn about the fish conservation acts in Lake Seiko. Very helpful gentleman helping us during our time here despite the language barrier.
K H — Google review
Good small cave with little woodland trail up to it and museum on the local fish. Self directed cave tour. Low ceilings beware! Hard hat provided. ¥300-350pp. Friendly staff.
C R — Google review
This is the largest cave in the area, with multiple levels. There is a decent amount to see and learn about, and the free nature center attached to it makes it worth the visit. Inside the cave there is some signage in English, and some in only Japanese (no internet to translate either). There is a path that is easy and accessible, and an optional path with tunnels so small you almost have to crawl through them, which added to the fun factor for us. More importantly, this area connects to a large network of trails through Aokigahara, an enormous old-growth forest that is breathtakingly beautiful. We used this cave as the starting point, then walked through the forest to the nearby Wind Cave (about an hour walk taking our time). There are maps all around and the trails are very well maintained and easy to follow. Taken as a whole, this was a really amazing day and well worth doing.
Timothy N — Google review
Nice site with a short walking trail leading to the cave. The cave itself has very low ceilings in several passages, and one section even requires crawling on your knees to get through. This part is not for everyone, but it can be skipped—though doing so makes the overall visit quite short. The main reception building , offers a unique exhibit featuring local fish as well as vintage Batman series posters. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, worth a visit if you are nearby.
E ( — Google review
Located in Aokigahara Forest near Lake Saiko, the Saiko Bat Cave is the largest lava cave formed by the eruption of Mount Fuji in 864 AD. The cave extends approximately 386 meters in total length and features several chambers and corridors with varying ceiling heights. It is part of the “Fugaku Wind Cave – Narusawa Ice Cave – Saiko Bat Cave” trio of lava tubes, all created by the same ancient lava flow. The cave’s name comes from the bats that used to inhabit it, primarily the Eastern Bent-Wing Bats. However, the population has significantly decreased due to temperature fluctuations and human activity, and the cave is now mostly a geological site rather than a wildlife habitat. Inside, visitors can observe fascinating natural formations such as lava ledges, lava shelves, and diatomite layers, which indicate the prehistoric water levels of the ancient Sea of Se-no-Umi. The cave’s temperature remains around 10°C (50°F) throughout the year, making it cool even during summer. Illuminated pathways and safety railings make the route accessible, though some passages are narrow or require bending down. The cave tour takes about 15–20 minutes, and informative signs in Japanese and English explain geological features.
Anna K — Google review
The bat cave is really cool and it's kind of nice to be able to go in a cave on your own and walk around. Please be mindful of the bats and quiet while you're walking around. You do have to get pretty low in some spots so definitely make sure you're wearing your helmet and be prepared to maybe get on your hands and knees. It is a little cold in the cave but it's nice in the summer. There's a bus stop out front and you can easily walk to the other caves from here
Dani D — Google review
A very nice cave inside a beautiful forest (actually part of Aokigahara Forest) that offers a standard route and a more difficult one. We, of course, decided to follow the more challenging one. It was worth it! We could walk over a petrified lava flow and other caves that supposedly host bats (we didn’t see any).
Hartmut ( — Google review
Worth a visit. The cave is beautiful, as is the surrounding forest. The cave path is really fun to do, but it has a very low ceiling in some areas, so requires appropriate clothing & footwear to enjoy. They provide safety helmets, but I was glad to have shoes with a grip on.

Souvenir shop with friendly staff. They sell Mt. Fuji souvenir, local craft, skincare products, scents, and various herbal items. Outside the store there is Lavender Softicecream (ice cream shop). I love their ice cream and my favorite is cremia! We can enjoy ice cream in their beautiful garden.
Diva A — Google review
This shop is the cutest!! There are some imported goods but also some herbal items that are locally-made. I ended up getting a lot more than I intended because I didn't find some of the items anywhere else (e.g. herbal tea, pressed flower bookmarks, and perfume). They also have little workshops, although they weren't offering any when we visited. I would definitely go back!
Meegan S — Google review
A lovely gift shop that can be easily accessed via the Kawaguchiko sightseeing bus. They sell a lovely selection of unique Japanese products as well as teas, herbs and fragrances which is their specialty. At the back, they have a small greenhouse sitting area with some summer blooms
Aimee — Google review
A place that sells all kinds of おみやげ, outside is an ice cream/cremia shop, we tried vanilla and lavender flavored ice cream and vanilla and chocolate flavored cremia, both were delicious. We enjoyed both on the terrace overlooking Lake Kawaguchiko.

The Herb Hall has a wide variety of local products. The price is reasonable, infact some of the products are slightly cheaper to other tourist places. There is a greenhouse cafe located behind which offer free water and beverages (green & red tea) with plenty of seats. With the wet cold weather in autumn, the hot tea really warm the spirit.

This is a peaceful spot by Lake Kawaguchiko, even on a cloudy October day. Although Mount Fuji was hidden behind the clouds during my visit, the park still had a quiet charm, with beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding autumn colors starting to show. It’s a nice place for a relaxing walk and to enjoy the calm atmosphere away from the busier parts of the area.

Yagizaki Park is absolutely stunning — a peaceful spot where Kawaguchiko Lake and Mount Fuji come together in one breathtaking view. The scenery feels almost unreal, with the calm lake reflecting the majestic mountain and the park’s natural beauty adding to the charm. Whether you’re here for a quiet stroll, photos, or simply to enjoy the fresh air, this park is truly a gem and one of the best places to take in the Mt. Fuji landscape.

Lake Kawaguchi Maple Corridor is a picturesque spot near Mount Fuji, known for its stunning maple trees that turn fiery red in November. The area hosts the Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival, where the illuminated leaves create a magical nighttime display. While it can get crowded during peak foliage season, venturing further out offers a quieter experience to admire the vibrant colors of the maple leaves. This destination is perfect for nature enthusiasts and photographers seeking beautiful autumn landscapes.
visited the Maple Corridor in Kawaguchiko, and it was a very beautiful experience. The area is famous for its autumn colors, and the trees along the walkway look stunning when the leaves turn red and yellow. The atmosphere is calm, and the natural scenery is perfect for walking and taking photos. The view of the maple trees with the river beside them creates a very peaceful feeling. On clear days, you can also enjoy a nice view of Mt. Fuji from nearby, which makes the visit even more special. The place is easy to walk, and there are small shops and cafes around the area.
Sajjan G — Google review
The autumn colours are at their peak, with deep reds, fiery oranges, and golden yellows lining the lakefront. The famous momiji trees create long tunnels of colour, and their reflections ripple beautifully across the calm water. The crisp November air adds a refreshing clarity that makes everything feel sharper, cleaner, and more vibrant. One of the highlights is the small collection of food trucks and stalls near the lake. They serve warm, comforting seasonal treats—think sweet potato snacks, freshly grilled corn, takoyaki, and hot matcha drinks. The aroma alone creates a cosy atmosphere, making it easy to relax and enjoy the scenery while snacking on something delicious. Of course, the star of the show is Mount Fuji. In November, the visibility is usually excellent. Fuji appears with a pristine snow cap, perfectly framed above the lake. The contrast of the mountain’s white peak against the autumn foliage is unforgettable. Whether you’re strolling along the lakeshore or sitting by a food truck with a warm drink, the view feels almost unreal. Overall, November at Lake Kawaguchi is a peaceful, colourful, and breathtaking experience.

Beautiful spot for autumn leaves! The Maple Corridor in Kawaguchiko is stunning, especially in mid-November when the colors are at their peak. The path lined with maple trees is perfect for photos, and on clear days you can see Mt. Fuji in the background. It can get quite crowded during the festival, but the atmosphere is amazing—especially at night with the illumination. Definitely a must-visit during autumn.
Muslika L — Google review
There were vendors when we went, there was an event from November 1-31, in not sure if it was for that but we were able to capture the beautiful foliage transition from summer to fall. There is a place inside the area to park bikes.

Nestled in the picturesque Lake Kawaguchiko area, Kawaguchiko Craft Park is a delightful haven for craft enthusiasts. Visitors can immerse themselves in creative activities like painting pottery or even making soba noodles! During my visit on May 20th, I had no expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the experience.
We didn't stay here, but stopped for lunch. Food was exceptional, staff was welcoming and understood english. We had spicy hoto and koshu wine beef curry. The wonderful thing about restaurants in Japan is that what is shown in picture is what you get.

We visited Kawaguchiko Craft Park on May 20th with no expectations, but ended up having a delightful experience! My wife wanted to create something to bring back home, so we decided to try the sandblasting craft. It took us about 1.5 hours to design and cut out the stencil, but the actual blasting process was surprisingly quick - just a few seconds! The end result was lovely, and we had a blast (pun intended!) communicating with the staff through hand signals, as they spoke limited English. It was a fun and unique experience, and we left with a beautiful souvenir. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a creative and memorable activity!

Looking at Mount Fuji from an open-air hot spring is a tranquil experience that can help ease the stress of travel. The facility has excellent views of the towering mountain, so you can soak away your troubles and still feel like your trip was worth it. There are three baths with Mount Fuji views, and two of them are open-air. Driving to Fuji Yurari is a steep uphill journey, but the onsen itself is worth it for its peaceful surroundings and therapeutic hot springs.
A little pricey, I thought at first. But then I realized it was definitely worth it! It cost 1,700 per person. Towels are included in the fee; there’s shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shaver in the baths. Not only is the view of Mt. Fuji great from the outdoor bath, but it was also so fun exploring the different baths they had - from the mist sauna and cave bath to the carbonated onsen and fragrant baths. Not sure if they change the herb in the fragrant baths, but it was lavender when we went, my favorite flower! Tattoos aren’t allowed, but no one’s checking and most people don’t mind nowadays as long as it isn’t too big and intimidating.
ARBN — Google review
Relaxing & authentic hot springs, lots of baths (indoor, outdoor, hot,, warm, cold, etc) and dry/steam saunas. Down to earth vibe without the glitz or glamour. Can definitely spend hours in the facility, with a restaurant and rest areas and a couple massage and body scrub offerings. Private bath areas also available to rent. Nothing says Japan like a hot soak with a great up-close view of Mount Fuji. Can get crowded on holidays and weekends.
K R — Google review
Amazing experience, they pick you up from the station and drive you directly to the onsen. Do be aware that mount Fuji is not visible all the time, we were lucky but there is no guarantee. The food they have in the restaurant is not that expensive and the massages are soul healing. The cool thing is that for everything you just scan your bracelet and then pay when leaving so that is really handy since you don't have to have money with you and can just enjoy the trip.
Aleksandar L — Google review
A popular Onsen often visited by both locals and tourists exploring the lakes around Mt. Fuji. The outdoor bath offers a stunning view of the mountain. The on-site restaurant is cozy, comfortable, and has a wide-ranging menu.
Kee H — Google review
It’s a nice onsen with different baths in 2 floors. However, the restaurant is limited accepted guess only, so we need to go out for meals. It could be better if they can expand the restaurant.
Thang V — Google review
Couldn’t go to the spa facilities as it is all naked and I have tattoos but stayed at the restaurant and chill area. Restaurant is nice with many food options, self ordering and super fast delivery. Views to Mount Fuji aswell ☺️ you pay everything at the end and can also use lounge chairs to chill. Would just say staff at reception could be nicer.
Mafalda O — Google review
The service experience was terrible… I simply asked where to make a reservation for the private onsen (hot spring), and a young female staff member at the check-in counter impatiently told me it was over there and threw the towel for the onsen directly on the table. After soaking in the onsen, I bought some iced milk from a vending machine, but the front desk still charged me 300 yen… While paying, I saw several Asian tourists communicating with the young female staff member using a translation app, and she gave them an impatient, disregarding attitude…😥
Hu W — Google review
I went with my husband and the bath was awesome. We booked a private bath instead of open air public ones. We felt refreshed. The restaurant was also decent and we find our evening to be one of the more enjoyable evening of the Kawaguchiko-Mt Fuji trip. Ensoleille Excursion Ship Pleasure Boat Kawaguchiko is a popular and luxurious cruise ship offering both indoor and outdoor seating, providing stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji. The 20-minute trip offers a 360-degree transformation of the Yamanashi Prefecture, with the town of Kawaguchiko and magnificent mountains overlooking the lake. The ship's name, 'Ensoleille,' means 'sunny' in French, reflecting its scenic beauty.
How can I put this up....well, if you crazy about Fujisan and want to have a great view of the majestic mountain, please board the ship and get ready your camera, smart phone, etc. As you will be served with a breathtaking scenery of the great Fujisan. It was a worthwhile experience and and I think the 30-minute boat trip should be longer :)

I had a wonderful experience on the cruise! They have seating up top with no shade, outside seating with shade, and then an inside area with air conditioning. I recommend going early in the morning around 9 AM before the crowds come and then going to the Panoramic Ropeway afterwards. You can buy a discount combination ticket at the booth here for both attractions. You can see Mt. Fuji from both sides of the boat. The breeze on the water was very nice during the hot summer!

While the trip provides an exhilarating experience with beautiful scenery, it's recommended to choose sunny days for optimal visibility of Mount Fuji.
Japanese gentleman was so friendly, probably the best we met so far on this trip. took stops, took pictures of us while watching Mt fuji. Gentle with the kids and had kids soft toys in the boat to make kids comfortable. Definitely worth more than 5 stars

Kausar B — Google review
Beautiful views of Mount Fuji from the lake, really nice boat tour! It only takes ~20 minutes or so. The loudspeakers blasting some music / Japanese dialogue does not really fit the peacefulness of Fuji and the lake though. But overall I think it was a great experience, it fit well in my tight schedule and was worth the money. I went with the 9:30 boat in early September and there were only a few other people on the boat. (However, there was an entire tourist bus arriving for the next boat so might be worth going early)
Petra R — Google review
A short 20 minutes trip on the lake. The view of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking. I wish they would have stopped the engine after they turned around, maybe for 2 minutes. It would've been nice. Best thing is you can buy the boat tour, the sightseeing rope and the bus pass from them for 2800 yen. 2 days free shuttle busses (red green and blue busses) and one entry for boat and rope. Totally worth it if you plan on spending at least two days around the lakes.

The trip doesn't last more than 20/25 minutes. This is a good point of view in the middle of the lake to see the mount Fuji ... when it's not hidden behind the low clouds. You can purchase a combined ticket with the ropeway but do it only on sunny days. You can pay cash or with credit cards.

Recommended...the view and overall experience is worth for the money. Let take this sight seeing boat in the morning after the Ropeway

Fugaku Wind Cave is a 201-meter lava tube located at the base of Mt. Fuji, featuring unique geological formations and stunning ice pillars. Originally used for storing ice before the era of refrigeration, it now stands as a national monument within Aokigahara. Visitors can also explore the nearby Narusawa Ice Cave and enjoy a picturesque walk between the two caves.
wind caves were cool and it wasn't as long as we thought. if you stop and and read everything, then MAYBE it would take you 20 minutes to get through it, with kids. it's very neat looking and awesome atmosphere.

Take a trip into a lava cave. No actual lava involved. There are ice blocks. Temperature is 0*C to 3*C in the cave. It has been used for cold storage of silk worm cocoons and seeds. The stairway down is uneven, but not dangerous if care is used. It is not a very long distance into the cave. Basalt and cooled lava are readily viewable. The store at the beginning of the path has corn ice cream. I highly recommend trying it with a bit of salt.

Although brief, it’s a fun experience, especially in summer when it’s hot outside. A 10-minute walk through the cave offers a cool, windy, and refreshing escape. There’s also a bat cave and an ice cave nearby that are worth checking out.
Upasana P — Google review
Cheap but cheerful cave experience amongst beautiful naturescape. We visited in autumn. Short steep climb down to cave mouth. Cold so prepare accordingly. Approx 15min round trip. Nearby is Ice Cave (30min by foot, 2min by car) - can purchase combo tix on the day. Definitely recommend walking on the beautiful trail.

Just down the road from the Narusawa Ice Cave, the Fugaku Wind Cave is another must-see spot in the Fuji Five Lakes area. This naturally formed lava tube stays cool all year, with temperatures around zero degrees even in summer, perfect for a quick escape from the heat. Inside, you’ll see displays showing how the cave was once used to store silkworm eggs and seeds, along with impressive ice pillars and rock formations. The walk is smooth and easier than the Ice Cave, making it great for families or anyone wanting a calmer underground experience. The site is well-maintained, has clear English signs, and offers free parking nearby. A short, cool, and educational stop, best enjoyed together with the Ice Cave for a full Mount Fuji lava cave adventure.
Tyrone H — Google review
Fugaku Wind Cave is an interesting lava tube formed over 1,000 years ago by an eruption of Mt. Fuji. Compared to the nearby Narusawa Ice Cave, this one offers a wider and more comfortable passage, allowing for an easy and pleasant walk through its cool, dark interior. Inside, the temperature remains around 3°C year-round, and during the Edo period the cave was used as a natural refrigerator for silkworm eggs and seeds. The visit takes about 15–20 minutes, and buying a combined ticket for both caves is convenient and recommended, as they complement each other perfectly. What I found most captivating were the walls covered with vivid green mosses and lichens, their color strikingly contrasting with the glossy black lava. Interestingly, these plants grow even in the deeper parts of the cave, where artificial lighting allows them to photosynthesize, creating a mysterious and almost surreal atmosphere.
Anna K — Google review
The Fugaku Wind Cave is a fun place to visit if you can physically handle the walk and crawling in some cases. The entire trip involves walking up and down many stairs. Make sure you pick up a helmet at the entrance to protect your head if you are not a short person. The cave is fun to watch if you know you can handle it physically.
Michael W — Google review
Well, it s nice to see the lava walls and lava formations but if you want to see the glamorous ice columns you need to go in winter or early spring. I went in mid October and there was only some ice on the floor in one corner, nothing too attractive

Very beautiful Shrine. The 1000 years old tree are so awesome. It will be even more beautiful on Autumn when it turn all the leaf in yellow. It took me 1 hour walk from Shimoyoshida Station but enjoy the journey very much. The shrine are quite and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We chose this location on a day trip through the Fuji area because of the peaceful beauty of all the surrounding trees. It was very calm with a feeling of being a special place in nature. It's a less busy spot and less about seeing Fuji at this location. There are shrines and statues to view too but our favorite part was the nature. If you love a beautiful secluded nature spot then this is a great place for you to visit! If your main motivation is to see Fuji or just shrines then this may not be your favorite location.

If only I would check that this is beginning of Yoshida trail… I would start my journey from Shrine, instead 2 days before we started from Subaru 5th station. shrine is lovely place surrounded by old cedar trees. Very refreshing in hot summer day.
Andris L — Google review
We discovered the shrine totally by accident, without realizing its significance as a holy site and a spiritual trailhead for pilgrims looking to ascend Mount Fuji. We saw a wide woodland path from the road and decided to park up and go down it. After maybe 200 yd, we came to a peaceful stream, a bridge, and a huge wooden gate leading to the shrine complex. The gate is the largest of its kind in all of Japan. The shrine is still very active, there were people here praying and paying their respects- both employees and visitors. All the structures throughout the shrine had informative plaques in Japanese and English explaining the significance and how to properly pray here. Sometimes you visit somewhere and you can just feel the significance in the air, and this is one of those places. We were able to wander around the entire place at no charge.

We visited this shrine on our first day's excursion in Tokyo. This was our very first stop. I love the quite, peaceful location in the forest and enjoyed walking amongst the tall, green trees. The grounds are well kept and there were plenty of parking spots available. The were a few other shrines in the vicinity and we explored them all. This shrine is believed to be used for worshippers of Mt Fuji and deemed as a sacred place.

Lake Shōji, the smallest of the Fuji Five Lakes, is a serene and picturesque destination offering boat rentals and stunning views of Mount Fuji. It shares its water source with Lake Motosu and gained international attention during the Meiji Period when a British surveyor praised it as an ideal summer retreat. Unlike its more developed counterparts, Lake Shōji has maintained its natural charm.
Hands down the BEST view of Mt. Fuji in the five lakes area. The whole place feels serene and is not crowded at all like Kawaguchiko. A real gem of a spot. I hope not too many people find out about it 😉

Unlike what some reviewer said, this has got to be the best vantage to shoot Fuji mountain! This is only the point where one can see a baby mountain in front of Fuji. Together with the lake as the foreground, it makes a picturesque shot! Best time to come will be sunsetting time. One do not need to rent a car to come here. Just take the blue line bus. For me, its a MUST to come by if you want to take a great shot of Fuji mountain! Don't miss this spot!!

The museum features original works by Ikeda and is themed around her beloved character, Dayan the Cat. Visitors can immerse themselves in the whimsical universe of Wachifield, with art displays depicting various animals alongside Dayan.
It's decorated with cute cat pictures. It's a cute cat-shaped gallery with postcards, stickers, key chains, blankets, calendars, Diaries. If anyone passes, I'd like you to stop by and visit.

This is a charming little art museum dedicated to a local Japanese artist whose work revolves around cats. The gallery showcases a lovely collection of his cat-themed paintings and illustrations, along with a personal introduction to the artist and his unique style. There’s also a small gift shop selling cute and creative cat-themed souvenirs. Right next to the museum is a beautifully designed café where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in a peaceful setting. If you’re visiting Mount Fuji and the weather isn’t on your side (and you can’t catch a view of the mountain), this cozy and artistic space makes for a perfect alternative. The admission fee for adults is 500 yen (museum). It is really a nice place and you can see a nice view of the Mt. Fuji by the Lake Kawaguchiko. We were just a little surprised that taking photos are not allowed inside the museum--does not matter if don't use flash٫ it is strictly prohibited to use any device to take photos. Rarely give bad reviews but I was genuinely worried for our safety driving up in the rain. It was a dirt track and narrow one way path way. It’s not a place to walk up from the bus stop as it’s a long walk and also impossible in the rain. When we reached the top, it was deserted except for a restaurant that was closed. The place was misty and a bit creepy. Maybe better when it’s not raining.

The Fujisan Museum, which underwent a major renovation in 2015, offers an immersive and educational experience about the history and culture surrounding Mount Fuji. The museum features cutting-edge projection mapping technology that brings Mt. Fuji to life, along with exhibits on the mountain's spiritual significance, associated deities, and local history. Visitors can explore displays on Fuji faith, the lifestyles developed at the base of Mount Fuji, as well as its geological aspects such as rock formations and eruptions.
Must visit to understand how Mt Fuji was formed and why people climb it. Tickets are 400 yen for adults and you can rent an audio device for free. Make sure to do the VR at the entrance before heading in. Inside, there’s a Mt Fuji model with light show and it’s on the hour and thereafter every 20 mins. If you’re driving there, seems you can only park at the park opposite. But you can walk to it via an underpass and it’s wheelchair accessible.

Nice museum, sent about an hour there, but I recommend 1.5-2 hours. It is small but really helped me immerse myself into the Fuji culture. I think it is better to visit it first before going to see the other landmarks here, to get into the mood and get familiar with their importance. Some of the displays are videos that start on specific times (on the hour, so take note and try to plan ahead. The "VR" exhibition is really cool. Most of the captions are written in Japanese, but there is a free English audio guide that reads out most of the captions, and translates the audio exhibitions.

Last week we visited the Mt. Fuji Museum with my family. It was very interesting to see the history and mysticism that surrounds Fuji. A huge ropes park with lots of tracks. You can go up to all tracks over 110 centimeters high. We took routes for 90 minutes and that was enough. Brought our 5 years old son there, and he had lots of fun. For kids under 7 years old, they can do the kids course for 45 minutes, and it has zip lines and other obstacles. For older kids or adults, there is a more challenging course, and it covers a lot of areas. Strongly recommend this if you are looking for family fun with the kids!

Super cool! I enjoyed it being self guided so I could go at a fast pace! Luckily it was not busy so we weren't stuck behind too many people. Some of them are super challenging which was absolutely awesome! We did the 90 mins course. Could have easily spent the 2 hrs here but for how hot it was and how tired the challenging courses were the 90 mins was perfect! Staff were super nice and welcoming! Just remember its currently cash only so you will need to bring some with you.

It is better you wear long pants and long sleeves top if possible. A lot of zip-lines and it could be intimidating. But my daredevil son loves the place and is determined to come back when he is older to do all the treks himself. It’s good to know that the kid adventures can only take up to 130cm… and any kids above that can do normal treks but one adult has to accompany. The staff there are really helpful. One of the kids decided to bail after looking at the zip-line, they allow him to drop off. I should have check with that kid in advance.

The ShimoYoshida Station in Japan is the place where the iconic Thomas & Friends train is stationed permanently. This station is at the foothills of another iconic natural structure, Mt. Fuji. I visited this station not by train but by a tour bus, in which the station was one of the pitstops way to Mt. Fuji. The station is tiny and adorable. In April 2011 the "Shimo Yoshida Station Blue Train Terrace" was opened adjacent to the station. The station also has a washroom toilet and dustbins called trash cans each for segregated waste. The is also a long bench as the waiting area with a minimalist portrait of Mt. Fuji in the background. Inside the tiny station is also a map and a ticket vending machine. They also have a provision for luggage lockers and if you look at the ceiling inside the station a wonderful sketch is seen. The parking is 300 Yen for cars. Outside the station is a coffee shop adjacent to which also ice-cream vending machines and Mt. Fuji souvenir vending machines. The Shimo Yoshida station was neatly leveled with the main road facilitating easy entry for the differently abled.

Small local station that is closest to Chureito Pagoda, a now widely popular tourist destination approximately 10 minute walk away. Clean, well-kept, helpful staff, and you can use IC cards for travel. A small cafe is next to the station and a small combini with coin lockers is across the road. One hint - access to the Pagoda is a well signposted 10 Min walk away through a lovely domestic setting, but for those planning to take a taxi up to the Pagoda you can't. Walking only. It's quite a climb but is worth the effort.
Cathy E — Google review
If you are visiting the Chureito pagoda near Fuji, you will likely find yourself as this station. If is clean and easy to navigate thanks to a sufficient numbers of signs, and a general lack of many confusing lines, which you may be used to from the cities. A little Japanese goes a long way around here, but it's visited by so many tourists that you'll figure most stuff out even with just English.
Ivo M — Google review
Small but clean stations. And if you have luggage, no worries, you can leave it at the train station or at the luggare lockers in front of the train station. They use only 100 yen coins, but they can help you to change the money too. So it's convenient.
Alexis Y — Google review
A very messy and small station with many tourists but no shops around. This is the gateway to Chureito Churros Pagoda. Around 10 minutes walk to pagoda hill foot. Climb another half an hour. Omg too foggy. Fog fog. No Fuji mountain.

(Translated by Google) An art museum adjacent to the Highland Hotel. It is completely different from Fujisan Museum. Enter the hotel's main entrance and go down the stairs next to the front desk. It's a good idea to head there after enjoying Gaspard Town with Lisa. Admission is free with receipts from purchases of 500 yen or more in town, so it's a great deal. This museum collects paintings of Mt. Fuji, and exhibits change regularly. A pretty quick cycle. A regular? There are also paintings of Mt. Fuji by artists and celebrities, making it a sight to behold. While Mt. Fuji is flooded with tourists, it is recommended that you can see it slowly and quietly. (Translated by Google) I went because if you stay at a hotel in Fuji-Q Highland you get a free admission ticket. Normally it costs 1,000 yen for adults. There seem to be a few other ways to get discounts. Inside there are pictures of Mt. Fuji lined up. You can also experience making your own original spoon. Choose from 10 different colors of clay, wrap it around a spoon as you like, and bake it in the open for 10 minutes to harden and it's done. You can make your own original spoon for 300 or 500 yen, so I think it will be a great memory of your trip or a good experience to make with your children. Cute, touristy, probably much better when it's not cloudy. I was particularly disappointed that more than half of the grounds were dug up soil with no flower beds. We went during the week so it was quiet with not a lot of people. They must use this time to prepare for the next season. Understandable, but strange since they are advertising the season in flyers at local shops. We visited October 10th, three days before the supposed end of season, and it was, unfortunately, underwhelming. I can see it being great under the right circumstances, but it was only okay for us for our visit.

Was So SO lovely, we went with family for a walk around and it was really nice. the kids enjoyed it a lot. especially the flowers. Though it was cloudy and Mount Fuji was not visible but either way it was really nice! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!! its not that long of a walk either so it’s perfect for any age to go and visit. HAVE FUN!

It's a beautiful place to see flowers and have a walk around. Even when it's cloudy and you can't see Mt Fuji, it's a great place to visit, even with kids. There is also a food truck area with ample tables to rest and have a snack. Do come early at opening time, as it gets fairly crowded from 11am onwards due to the day tour buses coming in.

Always good even over clouded Three way in to car park ¥1,000 for car no discounts, 3way in but only main entrance got both way in across the lane / from the lane. Park itself has two way in but main entrance only takes cash / advance web booking. Approx. ¥1,500 /adult Some Discount for some people check HP for yourself,… It opens around six, if you are along the road to the park right on season after 8:00 than 1km may take 20mins or more From Tokyo even in GW, if you know the local road than Max 3hrs but if you take wrong turn may take 5hrs to get there.. Many of visitors including us never ate breakfast still enjoyable & excited forgot about hunger… Not in “Don’t enter” part but inside Peter Rabbit area on glassy ground you can sit & eat your lunch box too.. Don’t forget to cue up, don’t enter where you supposed not to, take your rubbish home. Be happy & environment friendly Have great day!!

Situated at the foot of the magnificent Mt. The center offers an immersive experience that brings Mt. Fuji's spirit to life through interactive exhibits, making it an essential destination for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of its significance.
A great place to learn more about Mount Fuji! The museum features numerous displays showcasing its history and cultural significance. Plus, admission is free, making it a must-visit spot for anyone interested in Japan’s iconic mountain.

This is a great visitor center to learn about the history of Fuji! There’s written (in English) stories of the myths around the mountain, the cultural significance, the religious aspects, and lots of other stuff. There’s a gift shop inside with shirts, keychains, magnets, drinking glasses, towels, kimonos, and other bits. They do take card and cash. There’s also a machine for the souvenir coins plus a crushed coin machine. (Bring 100 and 500 yen coins for those.) There’s an okay view of Fuji from the second floor along with a cafe. We had no problems parking and it’s a free visit. Also, there’s bathrooms but no trash service.
Zee T — Google review
Well designed centre with an excellent 10-minute introduction video of Mt Fuji. Had no idea that present day Mt Fuji was actually built on several older, smaller volcanoes. Plan to spend 60-90 minutes here as the exhibits are informative and interesting. Made a last minute decision before leaving Kawaguchiko to visit the centre and ended up spending more time here than we expected.
Ser T — Google review
We walked the 20 mins from the main station here to explore this great centre. Beautifully presented information on the region, Fuji-san and the hike so many take to reach the top! The VR experience was great too. Free entry.
Lee H — Google review
It is free to enter. You might need to pay if it was a part of a tour with a guide. You can see a lot of the pictures, learn the history, and many more about Mt. Fuji. A small cafe is upstairs. A nice souvenir shop is downstairs.
H G — Google review
With free admission, the incredibly comprehensive and informative center with a observation deck view of Mt Fuji is a must see. We loved the film and 360 projection onto the scaled reconstruction of Mt. Fuji. There was almost no one when we went, which surprised us given how much we enjoyed!
Emily E — Google review
Bit of a strange spot. Viewing platform is lacking a good view, but info centre is decent. Cafe is very slow, so don’t be in a hurry and order a coffee. Nice enough first spot for a quick break, but there’s better views to be had elsewhere. It’s really an information Centre and refreshment break than a first, best view of the mountain.

A Peaceful Hidden Gem in Shizuoka Visited during Star Wars Celebration week and was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and uncrowded this place was. Entry was free, and it turned out to be one of the most serene museum experiences I’ve had in Japan. The building’s architecture is stunning modern, clean, and beautifully integrated with the surroundings. The Mt. Fuji VR experience was the highlight. It gave us an immersive sense of what it feels like to climb to the summit without actually hiking the mountain. Highly recommend it, especially for those who can’t make the climb during their visit. Overall, this is a must-stop if you’re in the Shizuoka area or looking for a relaxing, culturally rich spot. Family-friendly, well-maintained, and not crowded at all. A perfect break from the usual tourist rush.

Marco M — Google review
Truly a gem! It's a well curated exhibit with plenty of examples from rough to polish and real life examples of the gem in its final stage of use. Not a big exhibit, so it won't take too long, and a nice area by the lake as well.

A beautiful and very educational gem museum to visit and explore. It was very nicely set up and displayed. It also has a gem and jewelry store inside it with some very nice pieces of jewelry, the least expensive was ¥100 and the most expensive was ¥1,500,000? It also has a nice little cafe that has sweet and coffee available

Interesting and beautiful gemstones on display, but quite small. Price for entry was too expensive at ¥600 (¥500 after discount voucher used). If you're massively into stones etc then have a look, but otherwise just look around the shop area (which is free) instead.

The Lake Kawaguchi Monkey Showman Theater, situated near the picturesque Kawaguchi Lake at the base of Mount Fuji, showcases a traditional Japanese art form known as monkey opera. This ancient performance has been entertaining audiences for over a millennium. The spacious theater can accommodate over 600 spectators and hosts multiple monkey opera shows daily. Visitors are treated to an array of impressive tricks by adorable and intelligent monkeys, including balancing on balls, playing drums, and walking on stilts.
Awesome monkeys. Great venue for kids and adults. The monkey handlers were very funny and really related well with the children in the crowd. If in the area, this is a must see attraction!!
Jeff C — Google review
The show was cute but I felt bad for the monkeys. I can sense things from animals and plants, have a weird connection to nature that I can not explain but these monkeys were sad. These monkeys are not happy to be there. I would never come here again nor recommend to anyone. These monkeys are being exploited and they do not want to be there.
Jessica — Google review
The monkeys are true performers and seem to have a real bond with their trainers. They are personable and perform some pretty dramatic feats. (I acknowledge that the ethics around a monkey show can be complicated, but I think you should approach the show with an open mind. For example, what is the difference between this show and a trained dog show?)
Jeremy O — Google review
Monkey training is a traditional performing art that has been passed down in Japan for a long time, and the monkey trainer and the monkey spend a long time building trust, working in sync with each other and practicing over and over again to perfect the tricks. I wish the show was a little longer.

Fuji Subaruland is a forested park located at the base of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi prefecture, offering numerous outdoor attractions for visitors of all ages. From a miniature golf course with World Heritage Site replicas to a gigantic wooden maze filled with riddles and stamp rallies, there are activities for everyone. The park features a Sky Trampoline, Jumbo Slide, and even a Doggy Park where visitors can rent resident canines by the hour.
I love the way the park is old fashioned but fun. It is clean and the benches are all without a mud or dust. The facilitators are mostly elders and I pity that they need to work still but they are very much able and strong and they look like they having fun too. There aren’t a lot of visitors when we visited so we didn’t have to fall in line at all. The trees are beautiful in autumn.
Toby A — Google review
For a start, do not expect this park to be a Disney or universal studio. Park has its own charms. We had lots of fun at the park. We only had time for one park so chose subaruland over Fuji Q. Turns out to be a wonderful choice! Park looks old but well maintained. Everything is in Japanese but nothing Google translate can't solve. Notable Attractions include a maze, escape room, tower slide, 5 storey maze, mini golf, ATV ride and a trail bicycle ride, all set in a tranquil forest setting. Engaging for kids. While it is true all the attendants are elderly folks, they were dedicated and cheerful. We left the park with my boy wanting more! Will recommend the park to all families with young kids.

A bit dated but still fun. Friendly stuff but it's quite normal as they charge extra for almost everything you do inside the park (if you don't buy the all inclusive ticket). It has several places with shade which is great in a hot summer day.

A great mini theme park inside the forest. Lots of small rides and activities for kids. Staff were all very friendly and we had lots of fun.

We had a great time at Fuji Subaru Land! I came with my 4 kids (ages 7, 5, 3, and a baby), and overall it was a fun experience. The 7 and 5-year-olds especially loved the park — there were lots of exciting things for them to explore and play with. For younger kids under 4, there aren’t as many attractions they can enjoy, but it’s still a nice place to walk around and spend time as a family. We visited on a weekday and there was no wait at all, which made everything super easy and stress-free. The park is clean, safe, and very family-friendly. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area with kids!
