Breakfast restaurant
The Golden Rooster is a cozy American restaurant that offers a warm and inviting ambiance for breakfast and lunch. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is bright, spacious, and adorned with colorful decor. The menu features an array of classic breakfast options such as egg platters, Benedicts, crepes, pancakes, and sandwiches to satisfy any craving. This family-style eatery has been serving delicious meals for nearly 40 years with fast service and friendly staff.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a local Realtor®, I’m always on the go — and The Golden Rooster is one of my favorite spots to slow down and enjoy a great meal. Whether I’m meeting clients or grabbing breakfast before a busy day, the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the atmosphere has that classic Maine hometown feel. Highly recommend if you're in Saco — it’s a staple for good reason! — Robert Thibodeau Realtor® | eXp Realty Maine

We visited for brunch and were impressed with the service, food, and price-to-serving-size ratio. I wasn’t expecting them to get so packed, though! I guess it’s a local favorite in the Biddeford/Saco area. Thankfully, we still managed to get a table without having to wait. We ordered two meals — a special and the eggs + corned beef plate — plus two coffees, a Bloody Mary, and a homemade muffing for $50 after tax. Not bad at all, and this would’ve set us back quite a bit more at other diners. The food was delicious, although the corned beef was not the best I’ve had. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the dish came with a generous amount of toast (four pieces versus your typical two pieces). The Bloody Mary was also delicious, only $7 — you can’t beat that. The homemade blueberry muffin, which we had grilled, was my favorite. The breakfast menu is limited and lacks items we expected to find at a place like this (breakfast burgers, biscuits & gravy, etc). Service was outstanding. We will be back!
Amaury S — Google review
The food here was good. It came out fresh and hot and was very tasty with good portions for the price. The first time we went was on the weekend and we sat outside. It had cute vibes though it is close to the emergency service stations so several times during our meal, cars went by with sirens going and it was quite loud. The rest of the time was quiet and enjoyable. The first time we visited the service was really friendly and professional. The second time we went it was a younger waitress who didn't get our order written down correctly and when we got our food and it was wrong, she seemed to have very little interest in trying to make sure that it was corrected. She had us swap our eggs to different plates as opposed to taking it back and correcting her mistake. She just kind of stared at us like she was lost or disinterested. Not a great impression. Just such a night and day experience. We went back to eat because we enjoyed ourselves so much the first time. But if our second visit had been our first, we wouldn't have gone back. Pics are from the first visit.

I’ve been to this diner twice now, once for dinner on a Thursday and again for Sunday brunch. I have to say, the brunch absolutely blew me away. The eggs Benedict were perfectly done, rich and flavorful, and the steak omelette was packed with tender meat and just the right amount of seasoning. Definitely one of the better brunches I’ve had in a while. Dinner was solid too, but brunch is really where this place shines. It’s clearly a popular spot expect a bit of a wait, especially on weekends but it’s worth it. The staff keeps things moving, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Overall, a reliable, no-frills diner with great energy and a standout brunch menu. I’ll definitely be back!

A great experience. Delightful breakfast and lunch spot where locals go. Where everybody knows your name. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection 😋. The waitress was a pleasure.

Absolutely great breakfast, super service! Perfectly cooked steak, thank you!

Very pleased with the short wait to be seated followed by quick food preparation. I ordered one of the specials to be disappointed by what was called spicy honey sausage omelet. It was neither spicy nor sweet from any honey. I was hoping for something out of the ordinary and new. Maybe this could be adjusted to heighten the flavors.

I cane in for a late lunch and the chicken salad wrap with a greek salad was spot on. It's an ideal spot in a fantastic small Maine town.

Nestled just a short stroll from Run of the Mill, The Deli & Company is a charming urban-industrial sandwich shop that offers a delightful dining experience for breakfast and lunch. With an inviting atmosphere featuring indoor seating, this spot serves up an impressive menu filled with fresh salads, hearty burritos, and both hot and cold sandwiches or wraps. What sets them apart is their commitment to customization; you can even transform any cold sandwich into a salad!
Today was my first experience and I will for sure be back! The food was phenomenal, I had the stuffed bird sandwich. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if you choose to eat there. This is my new favorite spot in Saco!! Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

The quality is one thing, the staff defines the atmosphere! The food is absolutely full of flavor, from the breads, to the cuts of meat, down to how its layered! They hold the standard for a delicious deli, down to there handmade teas, cookies and scones! Beautiful outdoor seating, to there welcoming dining area inside! Taking the train out, intown for buisness or passing through! This is a must stop destination for excellence, you haven't tasted greatness unless you stopped in at Deli & Company!

Great little place. Had bacon egg and cheese on their quinoa gluten free wrap, which was Delicious! My husband had egg and cheese on their homemade bagels. We are both originally from NJ so their bagels did not live up to the hype. Outdoor seating is cute! Staff is very friendly!

Both times I've been here have been very good! Need to try out more of their sandwiches. Got "The Mainah" last time and it was delicious!
Dan H — Google review
High quality sandwiches! The sandwiches lack substance for the price. I ordered the Corned Beef Ruben and it was only 2 slices of corned beef with a mountain of slaw.

I wish I’d have found it sooner. I had the organic eggs with Gouda and bacon jam on homemade English muffin. So delicious!!!

Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! I’ve never been to Saco but I’d absolutely come here just for this food. If they had these in Texas it’d be packed 24/7. It hits every marker for me quality, quantity, price, cleanliness, and a friendly staff. I don’t say this lightly when I rank any place 5 stars but Deli & Company absolutely deserve it 😃 Conclusion: If your in the area I highly recommend eating here.

Great local sandwich spot. Every sandwich we’ve tried is delicious & would absolutely recommend the turkey reuben!

Diner
Restaurant
Palace Diner, located in Saco, is a vintage counter-serve diner housed in a railcar that has been serving the town since 1927. The old-fashioned comfort fare for breakfast and lunch includes classic favorites like omelets, corned beef hash, flapjacks, and a rotating selection of local beers. The diner's old-world dining room with classic bar stools offers an authentic experience.
We stopped at the Palace Diner for some breakfast and it was a really good choice. It’s small and only had counter seating. 15 seats. The atmosphere is like going back in time but it’s kinda cool. It’s a fairly small menu but the food is delicious. I had the French toast and it was excellent!!!! Our server was terrific, friendly and attentive and she gave us some ideas for things to do and see in the area. FYI, it’s cash only. There’s some parking in front of the diner as well as a big general parking lot. Definitely recommend for breakfast and lunch.
Bradley T — Google review
Classic box car diner! Stool seats only, and usualy there is a wait! But worth it! Fast service and classic diner food. The banana nut bread and coffee was excellent. They also have beer! They have a good system with wait list, will text you when seat opens. Cash only!
Aaron L — Google review
After attending an event with Phil Rosenthal, where he spoke so highly of the Palace Diner, I could not resist the opportunity to come try it. Since it was my last morning in town before flying home, I was sure to get up early to be one of the first customers; given the limited seating, I was extremely nervous that I would not be able to dine here without risk of missing my flight. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up on a Wednesday morning and was not only the first customer to enter the diner when they opened, but actually the only customer in the diner the entire time I was there. I know that is not great for business, but in speaking with the waitress, she informed me that typically in the off-season there is not quite the rush that they experience in the summer months. All of that being said, this quaint little rail car diner was everything I hoped it would be and more. I decided to order the lumberjack breakfast so that I could get a balance of sweet and savory, and also try their infamous flapjacks and breakfast potatoes. The flapjacks were fluffy perfection and I ended up taking a side order to-go with me on my flight. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside while somehow maintaining a soft delicate interior. My eggs were scrambled perfectly and the breakfast sausage added a nice kick of protein that I needed. The service could not have been more friendly and engaging – although I’m not sure the waitress really had a choice since I was her only customer (just kidding, she was lovely!) They are a cash only spot and there is some parking nearby.
Courtney F — Google review
Reasonable prices and excellent food. The fries were crisp and cooked well, NOT soggy with grease like so many places. Hamburger was fresh and thier sauce is delicious. Pancakes are made from scratch. 10 out of 10, a must eat place. Be sure to plan ahead as seating is limited but the wait is well worth it. They have a text update once you are on the wait list that will give you 3 updates so you know when to start heading back and when it's ready. Lots to see and do within a 2 minute walk.
Zane C — Google review
We stopped by on a trip with our son to Maine after watching the episode on Somebody Feed Phil featuring this diner. We only had a 15 minute wait and enjoyed the weather and shops while we waited. The place is small but very cozy. The tuna melt was the best thing we had on our entire trip to Maine and that’s saying a lot! The chicken sandwich was delicious but hard to manage. I don’t know how anyone can finish it! My son got the French toast and it was some of the best we’ve had. That crunchy outside was from the heavens. Definitely worth a trip when visiting the Portland area.
Tulsa F — Google review
Phil Rosenthal mentions this hidden gem any and every chance he gets and there’s a reason. The heightened simplicity has me marveled over the greatness. Not a single dish falters. Service is consistently excellent. I drive from Boston for these pancakes because these are THE BEST PANCAKES IN THE WORLD.
Brendan A — Google review
We are on a trip that started in Stowe, Vermont and ending in Portland, Maine. After over a week of eating at different places, I can confidently say this is the best food we have had all trip by a long shot! The service was at the same level. If I am ever again within a couple hours from here, I am making the detour 🤣 I am still fantasizing about our breakfast. I still can't decide which I like more, the lumberjack breakfast or the chicken sandwich. I recommend getting both 👌
Sergio — Google review
Saw this place all over the Internet and TV a few years before, and never had the chance to visit before until now. Of note, there are 15 stools available at the diner, and if you come when there’s a wait, they have a good weight loss system where you can come back to get your seat. I just walked in and sat down at one of the many open stools available that day. Sat right across from the kitchen and had a great time. Check out the menu photo below, but I got the classic everything breakfast that included their famous Palace potatoes, which were great. There is communal real maple syrup for everyone to use so you don’t have to ask, which was a nice touch as well. I don’t think it’s the best diner I’ve ever had breakfast at, but it’s solid and worth a visit.

This place is amazing, what a fun atmosphere to be in. Wish there were more places like this in my local area. Super fun looking at all the used books to choose from, plenty of seating to get settled and cozy up with a good read! Elements has loyalty cards which I think is such a fun way to bring people back into their shop. Staff were really funny and relational which was a joy. I got a rose cardamom latte that was perfect. I love that there hours are late in the day not just early morning. They do serve alcohol, but I didn’t try it so I cannot speak to that portion of the shop.
Erica K — Google review
Unique book store, coffee shop and bar all in one! Elements is a great little spot to grab a cappuccino, read a book and people watch in Downtown Biddeford.
Brock H — Google review
The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. We got a bagel with hummus and tomato, the vegan “granola bar” (which is more like a British flapjack than a granola bar. It’s like an oaty nutty fruity dense cake. **Not** overly sweet like a granola bar that’s held together with lots of syrup.) and we also got a mocha coffee with oatmilk (they also had soy and almond options) The bagel was tender and chewy with a pleasant crispy crust. The mocha was quite nice. A mild coffee flavor, and the chocolate flavor was more prevalent. We also grabbed a bag of little lad’s herbal corn here. Nooch and herbs. It was an enjoyable mix of flavors that I hadn’t had before. The bookstore aspect was pretty cool. They had a lot of different books. They had different sections they focused on. Cookbooks bear the register, and also a section for for black authors. Unfortunately the holy donut flavor they carry isn’t vegan. It would be nice to see more options here.
Carrie M — Google review
Lovely place. If I had to rate the coffee alone, it would be 5*. Best java I've had this whole trip, by a long shot. Sadly, the vegan options for food aren't that inspiring. Came in twice. First time the music was good indie classics. Second time it was awful royalty free soft jazz. Yuck. Bit weird considering the narratives addressed in the books in the store. Great collection of progressive thought pieces.
Mac I — Google review
Decent sized cafe. Latte great and on point. Large selection of books. Great for both locals and tourist. Would recommend.

We love this coffee shop. I’ve been coming here for years at least once a week but there is something off the past few weeks. Coffee just not the same. I used to enjoy every single sip but lately it’s just like every other coffee. Did you guys change something? Anyway I still give 4 stars hoping we can get the old taste back. Thank you

Bagel shop
Rover Bagel, located inside the Pepperell Mill, is a popular spot known for its fantastic wood-fired bagels. The Classic Salmon smoked salmon bagel sandwich is a must-try, but be sure to arrive early as they tend to sell out quickly. The bagels are praised for their crispy charred exterior and chewy interior, with the salt bagel being particularly noteworthy for its perfectly balanced seasoning.
I highly recommend the "Take a hike"; while its ingredients are unknown to me, its flavor is outstanding. The staff's friendly demeanor and constant smiles are notable. This is a frequent destination for me during work.
Mike P — Google review
Did I drive almost two hours away to try these bagels? Yes, I did. Was it actually worth it? Without a doubt. Rover bagels are hands down the best bagels I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of bagels, including the few years I lived in Brooklyn!!!! Don’t tell them. Damn. The texture, the flavor, I’m literally just eating an entire bagel straight out of the bag and feel like I’ve been living a lie—never knowing bagels could be THIS GOOD. PS my iced blueberry matcha was also delightful and not sweet. It was perfect. 10000/10 will make the drive again!
Molli W — Google review
This is not a sit inside restaurant. You order at the counter which is outside or through the website. There are no chairs or benches to eat outside (I didn't seeany anyways). Once you pick up your food you sit in your vehicle and eat. The bagels were so good! There are not a lot of cream cheese options, but the maple butter was lovely! Definitely worth a stop for breakfast on the go.
Marsha L — Google review
Best damn bagels in the state. Nothing can compare to these. The crust, the crumb and the flavor are incredible. I drive from North Yarmouth once a week to get them. Slice and freeze them.
Mimi A — Google review
These are some really excellent bagels. Flavor options are not extensive (all the staples plus anadama and cranadama) but honestly: who cares. Light crispy exterior; airy chewy interior - toasted with a schmear they were absolutely delicious. Take out only.
Sarah H — Google review
Bagels and drinks are amazing and delicious. Good prices, friendly staff, this is my go to in the morning. Recommend ordering ahead online. The thai tea is my favorite!
Cora — Google review
Love love the bagels. My wait this morning for one untoasted bagel and a container of cream cheese was not good. I ordered, no one else was there. I was told it would be 5 minutes, that confused me until the person waiting on me was filling bags for other orders. Then a person showed up and I asked why I have to wait so long for my order. She put it together in a nano second.
Constance C — Google review
Best bagels I’ve had in a long time. Rover bagels are perfectly seasoned, cooked, crispy, soft, chewy and their sandwiches are spot on executed. I had the spicy salmon and my wife had the veggie which had roasted tomatoes. They put extra attention on simple items which make a big taste difference. Totally repeatable and highly recommend!

Very friendly establishment. Feels cozy. Big menu. Breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, homemade XL muffins, coffee, smoothies, croissants, many lunch sandwiches & more. Breakfast was good. Small shop. No big tables. A couple of tables for 2 and a small bar counter.

Small nice place . Workers were friendly and the food was excellent . Cube potatoes is one of the best I’ve had plenty of seasoning and cooked to perfection. My omelette is moist and juicy with the filling. Wife’s plain pancake were very good with a sweet taste but it also had a cinnamon flavor as well which personally was too much . Overall fantastic

Busy store with minimal staff. Small seating with limited store space. Bagel sandwich was yummy. Lemon muffin was ok, a bit dry. Whoopie pie was bland and dry. Good veggie cream cheese spread. Tasty homefries.
Alice L — Google review
While I had a bad experience, overall most people were happy and they ran efficiently. Appreciate the apology. Just had a terrible experience. We ordered a pair of toasted bagels, one well done, a smoothie, a coffee and home fries. Nearly 30 minutes later w drinks but no food I asked and was only then advised that food from the back (home fries) were taking 30 minutes. At that point they startled to advise people about the wait for anything other than bagels. 25 minutes later I was told the same and asked to cancel the home fries and just get my bagels. They told me that it was hard for them. I told them I didn't care if it was hard, 45 minutes for home fries was ridiculous. We were sitting at a table, they didn't cancel my home fries but came back w our bagels warm but not toasted in a to go bag w home fries. We were eating in. I returned my bagel and left, no refund. I really regret that I tipped generously in advance. Menu looks great but they failed to execute for us
Ferenc — Google review
Food was amazing! Little pricier than I wanted but the quality of the food was delicious. The wait was a little long, but they were super busy at peak morning hours (8-9am). Inside was super packed so we had to sit outside, and though the tables offered umbrellas, they didnt do much to keep the sun from beating down on us. Overall, great, and would be back!
Maria C — Google review
We did not eat here today. We were going to, but I was going to order an omelette and the sign said it had American cheese in it. I asked if I could have cheese that was not processed and the girl taking orders didn’t know what I meant, so she was going to ask. Then a rude lady behind the counter overheard and said all their cheese is processed. I said, there must be some unprocessed cheese here and I quietly whispered to my husband that they mustn’t know what I mean. The rude lady said “I DO know what you mean and all cheese is processed!!” She said this in a way that was meant to ridicule me and make me sound like my question was unreasonable. So we got out of line since I didn’t want to eat there (after being treated so rudely). Then, some guy in line chimes in and says “all cheese is processed”. I just politely said “you also don’t know what I’m talking about. Please look up what processed cheese is”. So, for the rude lady that was insensitive to my dietary requirements, 1) you need to remember that I was a customer, about to pay money to eat at your restaurant, and I should have been treated with courtesy and 2) before you speak nonsense about all cheese being processed, please educate yourself. Processed cheese is not something you will find in most European countries, and seldom in Canada, but it seems in the USA most people don’t know about “natural” cheese versus “processed, artificial” cheese. Simply look it up online and you will see what exactly processed cheese is - I don’t eat those chemicals and emulsifiers and was merely asking for “real, dairy-only” cheese. It’s not an unreasonable question for a lot of people on particular (healthy) diets.

Renowned for its scrumptious breakfast sandwiches crafted with freshly baked bread and high-quality ingredients, this charming eatery sets the perfect tone for your day before heading to the beach. Over priced everything. Teeny tiny lobster roll $27. Fruit cup $15. The lobster roll is supposed to be a 1/4 pound of lobster meat. The entire sandwich maybe weighed 1/4 pound. This is in Maine, The lobster capital of America; disappointing. Tourist trap! There is a restaurant 1 mile away twin lobsters for$30. You can buy 2 lobsters and make about 20 of these lobster rolls in the picture.

While everything was great, I would prefer to tip what I deem appropriate for a takeout sandwich. At the register I was given the choice of 18,20, or 25% or to cancel order. A big sign on the door saying 18% minimum tip would have turned me around.
Thomas P — Google review
I am just so impressed with the way the employees were running the sandwich line. I got my sub super fast and I loved the general vibe in there. Keep up the good work all!

We absolutely love their cinnamon buns but the last two times we noticed that only half of it has frosting. I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s day here but when you have some health issues and try to have a treat once in a while, its very disappointing to split one and only one person gets frosting.. just saying... otherwise they are delicious.. I do hope they read their reviews and put frosting over the whole bun...

Nestled in a charming location that once served as the drying yard for Deering Lumber Company, Lucky Loggers Restaurant has been delighting diners with generous portions of tasty dishes since 1980. This family-friendly eatery showcases decor and artwork that pays homage to its lumber heritage, even featuring wood sourced from the original sawmill. The diverse menu caters to all palates, making it an ideal spot for breakfast lovers who enjoy a mix of sweet and savory options.
This was my first visit with friends that have been here many times. The food was delicious. Very tasty and hot. Just the right amount on each blintzes with blueberries. The coffee was fresh. Out waitress Wonderful Wanda was fantastic. She made you feel right at home. Wanda was very gracious to us all.

Wow! Great surprise. In town from Buffalo and was searching for a breakfast spot! Young lady's service was the BEST! Friendly and kept the coffee coming. Made us aware that they were serving oven roasted turkey. Would have loved to stayed for that. Return trip next year to our favorite place, Maine, and will definitely make a return trip here.

Food taste great! We stop there on our way to Bath Maine to get breakfast, glad we did. Walked in was seated and eating within 15 minutes. I like that they over omelets in a small or large size. Who would have thought you could get a good meal in a strip mall lol. But nice place, friendly staff.
Rob — Google review
Waiter was courteous and nice. Atmosphere was normal. Eggs tasted like someone twisted their sweaty jockstrap onto them after cooking. The inside was gooey and outside was overcooked. The bacon was as salty as a sperm whale and tasted like a used rubber. The toast was made from straight up week old great value bread, although they did butter it correctly. Pancakes were actually pretty good. I've had better sausage at my uncle's house. Coffee was worse than Dunkin like damn cheap diner coffee for sure, tasted as though it brewed through an old man's sock. Home fries weren't cooked enough, shredded hash browns were too crispy, crunchy like chewing a lightbulb but less sharp. Like I said waiter was on point though.

My absolute favorite breakfast place in Saco! Atmosphere is warm and cozy, the staff is so friendly and attentive, and I always feel welcome with my baby (even though he sometimes makes a mess.). Prices are great. Portions are good. Food is tasty.
Erin F — Google review
Excellent service and unbeatable prices, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to the quality of the food. I was looking for a quick, cheap diner breakfast and stumbled upon Lucky Loggers. Located at the Saco Shopping Plaza, this no-frills restaurant has an extensive menu and prices that you’re not likely to find elsewhere around this area. I ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast for $12 — it came with three eggs, plenty of toast, hash-browns, bacon, two sausages, and a small juice and coffee. Seriously, you just can’t beat that. Unfortunately, the hash browns tasted quite old. I had to add a lot of ketchup, salt, and pepper to make them edible. I ordered my eggs sunny side up, and two arrived already popped. The bacon was also overcooked. The service was great — the waitress was attentive and friendly. For $12, I guess you can’t ask for more. If you’re looking for a quick, cheap meal without caring much about quality, then this is a good place to stop at.

Came on a Monday at 10am. Waitress was fast, friendly but did not come back to check if we needed drinks or if everything was ok. I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich on English muffin. Would eat it again. Daughter ordered a mini breakfast off the kids menu with an order of home fries. The scrambled egg that came with hers was weird! It had a weird texture and a plastic type smell to it. Very odd. Shouldn't be served in restaurants. Home fries were seasoned well but you could tell they had been out for a while. Very dry. Edit to respond to owner. I didn't say we didn't get drinks. I said she never came back to see if we needed drinks or to see how the food was. Also, it seems other people have complained about the eggs.
Chris G — Google review
Outstanding breakfast. Terrific personal service and delicious, properly prepared eggs over medium, whole wheat toast perfect, sausages were excellent, only 2 though:) lol. Home fries were ok, maybe I should've added some onions, which are available as an add on. All in all, great stuff. Go there. You'll love the home cooking diner style atmosphere and personal service experience

IHOP, a beloved chain known for its extensive selection of pancakes and classic American breakfast dishes, offers a delightful dining experience that keeps patrons coming back. During my recent visit to one of their locations, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home despite the humid weather outside. I decided to indulge in their spinach mushroom omelet, which was generously portioned and came with a side of crispy hash browns—perfect fuel for the day ahead!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a genuinely inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was perfect comfortable, stylish, and buzzing with just the right amount of energy. What truly set this visit apart, though, was the exceptional service led by the manager, Zoe. She was not only attentive and professional but also incredibly personable. You can tell she truly cares about both her team and every guest’s experience. That kind of leadership shows in every detail. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a lot of love from the kitchen. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or celebrating something special, this place hits the mark every time. Huge thanks to Zoe and her wonderful team for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. I do not recommend ihop for food outside of breakfast items. The food was cold and overcooked. Menu options were minimal and sides out of stock. The steak was sad, thin, tough, and not worth the money. Looked like dollar store quality. We did appreciate the server. They did their best with the situation the establishment put them in and handled it well. It wasn't their fault the restaurant was improperly prepared for dinner service.

Clean facility, friendly staff. Fast service and great food- I was surprised by the good quality of the meals and a HUGE menu! My 70 yr old father had a dish from the 55+ menu which was perfectly portioned and priced!

We walked in and it was surprisingly not busy. We were seated pretty quickly at a table that desperately needed to be cleaned. Food all over the floor, etc. Our food came relatively quickly, but the breakfast sausage and hash browns were cold and our eggs were not made correctly. I wished we had read the reviews before coming here. We did let our server know about our food and he apologized but nothing was comped or discounted. We will not come to this establishment again.

I had a wonderful dining experience at IHOP located at 515 Main St, Saco, ME. The food was delicious, served fresh and hot, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Special thanks to Mallossa S, who went above and beyond with her friendly attitude and attentive service—she truly made our visit exceptional. Highly recommend this IHOP for anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer care!
Robert A — Google review
We had a truly frustrating experience at this IHOP. We arrived with a group of adults and were seated fairly quickly—but then sat for 45 minutes before we were even able to place our order. It was busy, which we understood, but no communication was given during that wait. 20 minutes after ordering, we were told our waitress, Cindy, had forgotten to put our order in altogether. Mistakes happen, and she was kind and clearly flustered—she even tried to offer a discount for the inconvenience. But it seemed like the manager didn’t approve it. We ended up being there for nearly two hours total. My husband had to bring our two-year-old daughter to the car because she was understandably getting restless and overwhelmed. When our food finally came—an hour and a half after we arrived—he had to eat it in the car. The server tried to make up for it by giving us a discount out of HER tips! which we appreciated the gesture But the lack of support from management, and the complete breakdown in communication and service, made this visit incredibly frustrating. We won’t be returning. Poorly managed, and not family-friendly at all.
Caitlyn — Google review
My first visit to this location. Such friendly staff for such a humid day! I was in a mood for the chain's spinach mushroom omelet. I recall it being less expensive, but still; 13.99 for a massive, loaded omelet AND the side of hash browns was all I needed for the day! I am hot blooded; I also have heat intolerance. I am certain that I'm the only one who found the place "warm" for having a/c. That said, the wall of heat that hits you when you leave reminds you that it was on.

I was glad to find a coffee place within walking distance and the coffee was good! It’s serve yourself for drip coffee. Although I was tempted to get one of their baked goods, I stuck with the açaí bowls. I ordered the very berry and, yes, very good. I was I introduced to açaí bowls nearly 12 years ago when living in California and always loved them. Cafe 64 does them well. Also, they actually the fruit when your order is being made. Most of it is not pre-cut so patience goes a long way in getting your order. In truth, it doesn’t take that long and even the line goes pretty fast with one register.

Was in OOB for a few days so naturally I needed my caffeine fix. I stopped in and loved the vibes in there. I loved this place they had many options for Sugar free syrups to add to ur coffee and milk alternatives. The breakfast burrito is a must try. Cinnamon rolls were huge but the icing was too sweet and too much. Other than that such a good place for coffee and grab a quick bite to eat. There's on street parking but its not guaranteed so plan ahead.

Long line but moved pretty quickly. Staff was very friendly. I had a cold brew coffee and cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. I got my cold brew with oat milk (no extra charge) and caramel syrup. Cold brew coffee was OK but it came out quickly. It was all smooth as I’ve had at other cafés, but it got the job done. My bagel took about 10 minutes to come out and as that was a little longer than expected, there was a high volume of foot traffic. I asked for a toasted bagel but when received it wasn’t toasted. I let them know and they immediately went to make a new one with no sauce. But apparently I have the last cinnamon raisin so I got everything in place. The bagel was good. Both the coffee and the bagel are good, not outstanding but I would get it again as it’s probably the best local place to get these items. The true winner was the staff. The gentleman announcing numbers was doing so with some musical flare. The decor was warming and unique.

Resisted the gorgeous muffins , gluten free loaf options, and decadent cinnamon roll, in favor of a dawn rider breakfast sandwich. (Delicious!). Gave in to the Teddy Bear latte, though, worth it! Friendly service, plenty of options. Only negative was a very noisy air conditioner.

Enjoyed a delicious Americano this morning. We decided not to eat and I'm not sure if I really would. My observation was pastries on a dish at the counter with no cover. I didn't notice right away but friend pointed it out after I had been breathing on them while reviewing the menu. We enjoyed the atmosphere and coffee, hence the 4 stars.

Staff is very friendly, AC was on so it was nice to get out of the heat. There was a line when we got there but it moved very quickly. There is indoor seating but very limited it's more of a grab and go type of place although we where able to find a table. I got the breakfast sandwich 2 eggs cheese and sausage On a toasted Chabota bread It was a great sandwich, They have all kinds of stuff and it tastes fresh. The only thing I'd recommend is more vegan options. My wife was able to get the vegan wrap which she enjoyed our friends got the chicken wrap and steak and cheese .

Finestkind in Sacos Pepperell Square is a charming cafe with a welcoming outdoor deck. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. They serve delicious and innovative dishes from breakfast to late lunch using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The decor and renovation of the space are impressive, drawing long lines of customers. The owners are experienced and hospitable, adding to the inviting atmosphere. They are open on Mondays too! Customers can order online through Clover for a convenient experience.
This place was an unexpected treasure! Just opened and already running like a well-oiled machine. The service? On point. The food? Incredible. And that hot cocoa? Hands down the best I've ever had! We've been telling everyone we know, and we're already planning our next visit. The space is cozy and intimate, just the way I like it. I also love the way they handle seating—you order first, then grab a table, so there's zero pressure even if the line starts to get a little busy. Such a smart touch! And the decor is festive and just beautiful….excited to go back!

Located in a quaint town, this spot has a cozy vibe and friendly service—especially from the lady at the counter, who was warm and welcoming. I ordered the spiced maple latte and the classic breakfast. The latte was excellent. The breakfast was good overall, though the eggs were overcooked at first. They did bring a new batch, but the man who brought it didn’t seem very apologetic. Thankfully, the woman at the register handled it kindly. Solid place, but service could be a bit more consistent.

The best brunch/lunch spot in Maine! Delicious classic menus with fresh ingredients. Recommend order a few menus (or 5 like we did) to share with friends and don’t miss the bake goods! My personal favourite is Little Debbrah 😋♥️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a find of the finest kind. This quaint brunch spot in downtown Saco is conveniently located and serves up great food with fast, friendly service. Get there early for the best selection of pastries, or order a meal from their all-day breakfast and lunch menu. We opted for the savory Alamo sandwich, one with egg, one without. The chipotle pimento cheese was ooey and gooey, the brisket was perfectly cooked, the crispy onions added just the right crunch, and the egg (on one) was like a pillowy blanket, all nestled in a soft onion challah roll. Messy in all the right ways and absolutely worth it! For coffee, the Flat Orange had the perfect kiss of citrus, and the Spiced Maple Latte is sure to become your new favorite. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of this amazing scratch made menu!

This is probably the worst breakfast experience I have ever had. I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I am not one to write reviews, but I felt this was necessary. Me and my daughter are on our way to church. Wanted to grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches. Let’s start off by when I walk in. It is massively confusing on who is ordering who is waiting for food there is no logical system in place nor does the employees try to manage that broken system (you’ll have to figure it out for yourself). When we get up to pay for our to go breakfast sandwiches that we called in, The girl behind the counter told me the amount would be $32 and change. 🤯😳I advised that She probably had the wrong order and that I only ordered two breakfast sandwiches to go. She advised me yes that was the price. Absolutely absurd. My daughter went to open hers in the truck in the following picture below, (pics don’t even do it justice) It was a disaster, pretty much uneatable. Dripping all over my truck from the moment we started unwrapping it and look like it was slapped together. At this point, I’m hoping to God it tastes good to justify anything that we have just experienced… It was absolutely disgusting and my daughter couldn’t finish more than a couple bites. Mine was bland to say the least with no taste at all. Shoving it down my throat to justify just paying $32 For two breakfast sandwiches…(also couldn’t finish it) I will never go back there, and I would advise people to stay far away, There are so many better places with better food and tremendously better prices. This was a horrible experience. All the 5 star reviews must be co workers friends and family.

Elevate Cafe, formerly known as the Star Struck Cafe, is a unique blend of a yoga studio and a coffee shop located at 155 Saco Ave in Old Orchard Beach. This charming cafe offers an array of artisanal coffee and delectable breakfast options, including avocado toast and protein-packed wraps. The menu caters to health-conscious foodies without compromising on flavor.
I had a fabulous visit to Elevate Cafe. When the yoga studio isn't open, this is a very warm and inviting coffee, smoothie, and bakery space. The music was soft and pleasant, so it's great for folks who'd like to work remotely. There were many comfortable seating options and wifi available. The owner, David, and the other worker behind the counter were very pleasant. They referred to every customer by name and put forth an effort to interact with them - a very difficult thing to do when working in a cafe with many responsibilities and a typical fast pace. I ordered a honey-lavender (torani syrup + honey) latte and rosemary bagel. David explained that the bagels were baked in-house using a sourdough starter. It was absolutely delicious. They were also cutting up cinnamon rolls to bake while I was there. They also had some local jewelry, candles, and art for sale. The only thing I'd mention is that the menu to order from seemed a bit incomplete. Though they offered espresso-based drinks, it wasn't listed on the menu. Prices were also absent, so I didn't know what to expect. Overall, this was a very lovely spot to have stopped in on. This business is run by a family who is very passionate about what they do, and it shows.

What a great little cafe! First time in the area and this cozy cafe was just a 4 min drive from the RV park we're staying at. Very pleased with the overall atmosphere of the place. Food was great, loved the plants and thought the post-it wall you could leave a drawing or saying on it was super clever way to be interactive with your guests. Place is very well cared for and reasonable prices as well!

Very warm and inviting coffee/breakfast stop we found online and loved it so much we stopped in everyday we were in OOB! The Sebego on a plain bagel, wow, so good! Great people doing wonderful things for customers and the community!

I’ve gone here twice now while visiting old orchard beach and I can for sure say the food is really good I always am satisfied by the bagel. My issue is the both the times I’ve visited months apart they’ve forgotten part of the order. The first time they forgot a bagel from the order. This time we ordered the last cinnamon roll and they sold it to someone else even though we ordered it first. When the wait time is so long I expect the order to be right. This place could definitely be 5/5 if the service improved.

Highly recommend this elevated experience to others!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Biddeford, look no further than Catface Cafe. This charming spot is co-owned by Krista Cole, a two-time James Beard semi-finalist, and offers an enticing brunch menu featuring dishes like the Maine crab melt. Guests rave about their breakfast and lunch options, including unique specials such as chicken Caesar wraps and the hearty "Chopped Cheese Sando," which combines ground beef with cheddar and special sauce.
Found another great local place for breakfast/lunch food today. I had the chicken Caesar wrap (was a special) my hubs had the "Chopped Cheese Sando" consisting of ground beef, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, fried onions and "Catface Sauce". Both were delicious! Loved the atmosphere and the owner, Tyler was super nice. I never tell anyone that I am reviewing until after I eat my food. This is number one in our book for local Biddo places! Definitely give them a try!

Tried the Catface Cafè today for the first time. Everything was great besides the Vacationland Sando… how can you charge $17 for maybe a 1/4 cup of ground beef, egg, lettuce, tomato, onions, sauce on a tiny piece of bread. That amount of food wouldn’t come close to filling up my 8 year old. I had the Biddeford sandwich for $10 and it had easily double the amount of food. I have no problem paying for food but this is just highway robbery. Very disappointed. Pictured is half the sad sandwich.

We’re in town visiting and noticed this cozy laid back cafe in Biddeford. They had some unique iced latte flavors, including a delicious s’mores latte. We also got a miso caramel latte - which was the perfect balance between sweet and salty. Gochujang aoili on the breakfast sandwich was my favorite thing.

My husband and I were on a little getaway for our anniversary and found this spot via Google. Time & Tide Coffee is a coffee shop and roastery in Biddeford, owned by experienced individuals from New York. They aim to make great coffee accessible to everyone. The bright interior with floor-to-ceiling windows on Main Street offers a welcoming atmosphere. Customers praise the outstanding cappuccino made with their Commodore bean, which has rich, colorful, and full-bodied flavors of chocolate, caramel, and nougat.
I stopped by Time & Tide for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was definitely not disappointed! First of all, the branding is super cute and fun! The barista who helped me (I never caught his name!) was so friendly and welcoming and gave me some suggestions not only on what to drink, but of some things to do in the area since I just recently moved here. I got one of my go-to drinks, an iced quad shot oat milk maple latte, and it was one of the best I’ve had! I plan on being a regular here for sure! :)

Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just in need of a caffeine fix, this place is a must-visit. Don't miss out on this incredible combo – it's a taste adventure you won't forget!

2024 update: Time & Tide is still ticking. Pistachio cream's still good. The kaya custard toast is a nice snack, worth a try. I didn't get an espresso on its own this year, but the latte was smooth. Tasty coffee drinks in an inclusive shop. I sampled the pistachio cream latte, hot, and a shot on the side. The espresso was quite bright, a bit fruity, and strongly acidic - I suspect it was a light roast. The latte was predictably good. The New York City map on the wall was a curious choice, but neat decoration regardless. Great service. For those coming from away like I was, there's street parking along Main St, as well as on side streets in the surrounding blocks, and some public parking lots, but nothing dedicated to Time & Tide that I could see.

Best coffee in southern Maine, the owners are experienced roasters who travel all over the world to source their beans and are so inedibly knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect spot to hole up for work or meet with friends as they’re open EVERY day. That’s right…every day. Plus, their toasts are delectable, especially the ricotta jam — not only are they a treat with locally made bread, but they’re healthy too. Don’t miss this hidden gem!!

I also met a wonderful person today who may have been the owner/barista and she showed me so much kindness I will not forget it! Go visit these awesome people if you like great coffee and supporting a lovely cat named Henry Jacob lol

Simply one of the best coffee shops in Southern Maine. 10/10 on coffee and vibes! Their seasonal lattes are incredible, but their regular drip coffees are just as good. Every time I've gone to Time & Tide, I have been met by the kindest staff and the coziest vibes. They have plenty of seating, so finding a spot to read a book or catch up on work isn't difficult here. I've also had their avocado toast, and it is delicious. Time & Tide is welcoming and cute without being pretentious, which I look forward to in a coffee shop. If you're in Biddeford, definitely stop by.

Cool little coffee shop. Parking was easy, and there was plenty on a Monday afternoon. I was greeted by the friendly staff, and the service was quick. Seating for about 15-20 people. I ordered the chai latte and it was really good. Prices are what you would expect for an independent cafe. I’m going to mark it down for the next time I come through the area.

Nestled in the heart of Biddeford, Maine Coast Roast is a true gem for coffee lovers and baked goods enthusiasts alike. The owner’s passion for roasting coffee beans shines through in every cup, showcasing their dedication to quality over quantity. While the drink menu may not be extensive, each offering is crafted with care, featuring fresh-roasted coffee that delivers delightful flavors. Their use of Monin syrups elevates the experience even further—though one can dream of homemade syrups someday!
Fresh-roasted coffee and quality coffee drinks, what's not to like? Like I usually do, I sampled a latte with a shot on the side. The espresso suited my tastes much more than other recent stops, and the latte was predictably good. (I got a maple one, and it tasted more like pancake syrup than proper maple, but that's *not* a bad thing for me. It was like going out for pancakes. I believe the menu even says "pancake maple". No complaints, and it's just how the flavor syrup is.) I took a bag of whole bean with me, and while I haven't tried it yet I'm sure it will be great - I've not had a honey-processed roast before. Parking here was very easy, and the shop is spacious with a decent amount of seating and a clean bathroom. EDIT: I have been enjoying every french press cup of the Costa Rican roast I bought - the "honey process" is something special. The low acidity is perfect for serving black.

The owner here is a delightful person who received professional above-and-beyond training and is very passionate about the art of roasting coffee beans. Their baked goods are also made in-house! Which I was delighted to discover. Their cafe offerings are more focused on quality-centric drinks, less on variety or ‘fun’ drink concoctions — which I prefer, personally. When there are flavor shots, they use Monin syrups, a step above Torani. It would be nice if someday they made their own syrups in-house! I’m slowly trying all their coffee blends, which are also available in bulk at the storefront (you can also buy the bags at the IGA in Wells). Supporting a women-owned business is reason enough to earn my loyalty, but the love of the craft shines through in their products as well. I would definitely support this local business.

Great coffee and very cute atmosphere. The pastries were lovely as well. We had the pumpkin spiced latte, pumpkin chai latte, a cinnamon bun and an orange and cranberry muffin. All were delicious 😋

Wonderful place to get a quality cup of coffee! The owner was very friendly and told me a lot of cool facts about how coffee is roasted, its origin, and the different methods of brewing. She also had a big roasting machine on display which was interesting to look at. The coffee is smooth and well made. Can't wait to come back and try another cup!

Gross. Watched the cook. Handle everything from money to packages without washing his hands to touch the food to go to the grill to cook. Dirty nails and all. Omelette was loaded with cheese and could hardly see the egg. And I like cheese. But holy hell couldn't find the egg. Watch him touch the hash brown while picking it up with the spatula to put in the box with the omelette on other orders and told them to hold the hash brown on mine. Food violations galore. Never returning.

I’d highly recommend this as the first stop after arriving to stock up on things that are hard to bring. Stopped in to get souvenirs and was pleasantly surprised. The New Moon is a charming restaurant in Saco, Maine that offers hearty American fare from morning to night. The bright yellow building exudes a cozy and relaxed ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a comforting meal. The menu features familiar favorites like French Onion Soup, Chicken Marsala, and Baked Haddock, along with a full bar serving an array of drinks.
We came up for a family visit and this restaurant really caught my attention. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Very attentive and kind. We ordered a variety of dishes. Their huge menu is impressive and every single thing we ordered was delicious. Overall, a fantastic breakfast restaurant.

Went here for a solid brunch and that is just what we found. All the basics covered and some dishes that are more original. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito and the vegetables were as plenty as the eggs were fluffy. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and there were three different options for hot sauces. Never had to wait for a coffee and the staff was sweet! All three of us loved what we ordered. Thanks!

This was my first time at this restaurant, my first impression was definitely good. The waitress we had was wonderful and very personable. Menu was fairly basic for breakfast but had their own specialty items. I got a mimosa and then a spinach and crab Benedict. Mimosa was delicious!! And the Benedict was very good. Outdoor seating was not good due to an over abundance of bees BUT beside that it was nice.
Ann B — Google review
My boyfriend and I both got the same thing. He didn't like it because the eggs were a too runny for him, but I enjoyed it. The pulled pork tasted like leftover turkey and stuffing, but it was still good to me. Our waitress was very nice.

My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out since The StrikeZone stopped serving breakfast. We came here on Friday, 4/08/22 at 8:00am. It was almost empty when we walked in, we were greeted right away and asked to seat ourselves. We noticed right away that the floors were clean, music was playing and the waitresses were eager to serve us. The prices of our drinks (traditional Bloody Mary & Orange Juice Mimosa) was a little expensive, but for 8:00am on a Friday in downtown Saco, we really couldn’t complain! I chose Salted Caramel & Pecan Belgian waffles while my boyfriend decided to get a twist on his favorite dish, Irish Eggs Benny. Least to say- my waffles didn’t have very much caramel on them, and the hollandaise sauce tasted sour in my boyfriends opinion. Overall we decided on three stars, because the service was great and timely.

The best breakfast! I had the 2 eggs with corn beef hash, the hash is homemade deliciousness. I also had one cinnamon bun pancake that was amazing. Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside! My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict with hash and he said it was a 10/10. The traditional mimosa and bellini were strong and tasty. There was a wait but it was defintely worth it and the staff is very friendly! I will be coming back when I am back in the area.

New Moon is a great little breakfast spot in downtown Saco! They have a little bit of everything on the menu— so something for everyone. There is usually a wait over the weekend, so be sure to get there early to put your name in, especially if you have a large party. Parking is not usually an issue. The restaurant is not air conditioned, so it can get steamy in there in the summer. The food is still worth it! They’re famous for their Cinnabon Pancakes (pictured below!). Enjoy!!

This place is a hole in the wall gem! We tried their cinnabon pancakes, ham & cheese stuffed French Toast (Monte Carlo), steakbomb breakfast sandwich with bakes beans and country benedict with home fries. All of those were exceptionally delicious and service was quick & friendly. Coffee was great too. We were very impressed with the variety of mimosas and bloody Marys available too (though we didn't try any this time). Can't wait to visit again!

McDonald's is a timeless fast-food institution that has been delighting taste buds for decades. Renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries, this beloved chain offers a quick and satisfying dining experience. Whether you're grabbing a meal on the go or enjoying a casual outing with friends, McDonald's remains a staple in the world of fast food, serving up familiar flavors that many have come to love.
Came to grab food after a long shift at 11pm. The woman at the window handed me my drink and then threw the bag of my food at me, I looked inside and this is how I recieved my order. Absolutely not okay.

Worst McDonald's we've ever been to. Went in for breakfast, ordered and paid. Waited 20 minutes and went up to ask about order. They said they forgot to put it in. Ordered again and took additional 12 minutes for order, which came out cold. Watched everyone else order and get food in semi timely fashion. Asked to talk to manager and she reluctantly spoke to me. She said they were short of help and busy. When I said everyone got food, she blamed us. I said how do to order and pay for and not place order. Then try to lay the blame on the customer. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to in 50+ years and 30 + states. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
Terry L — Google review
Nothing short of a catastrophe... Came in at 9:10, already several people waiting for their food and several in line at the drive-thru. Ordered using the screen. 50 minutes, still no food, and my order has disappeared from the screen, with several other people having been there for 30-40 minutes. We could hear people in the kitchen say that they had no idea what was outstanding and that they were lacking visibility on several orders. I was waiting with my wife and my two young ones. I ended up asking for a refund as I couldn't in good conscience get them to wait any longer... And even processing the refund was complicated as the girl who refunded had to do it twice... Walked out empty handed to a drive thru completely full and at a standstill... Never seen that before...

It took 10 minutes to place the order - while there were customers in line an employee put her own order in and then another employee undid her long hair on the cooking floor. 20 minutes waiting for an order of 10 piece chicken nugget and fries. This is a poorly managed McDonald's, which is turning into a teenage hangout spot
Jessica B — Google review
I placed a mobile order for breakfast and I arrived to the store at 10:30am-10:35am and was told they can’t make my order since it’s past breakfast time. Although I saw the car next to me order breakfast and it was fine with them. So I am confused why they were allowed to order breakfast on the spot but I couldn’t receive my breakfast order that I placed prior to breakfast closing? Shouldn’t the food be made for when I arrive? The lady said she would cancel the order and I would be refunded, but I still have not received a refund. Very disappointing, there’s always service issues at this store.
Xo X — Google review
I ordered curbside one morning. They were busy, so it did take a while to get my food (about 20 minutes) but again I understood because of the amount of people there. However once I got home, I realized that my order of hash browns and sausage burritos, both burritos were missing, so I only got hash browns. I put in a request online, and someone from the store contacted me. Samantha (the general manager) wanted me to accept basically what was a gift card, but it couldn’t be used online, so I asked for a refund instead. She then ghosted me despite a few follow up emails, and I never heard back, so I never got my money back.

Did a mobile order at 9:45pm before leaving my house. Got there 10pm. Received the food at 10:45pm. 1h for a Big Mac and fries is craaazyyy. When I complained they said “that doesn’t change anything”. Shame on them for that kind of treatment. Their app should mention if they have too many orders going on and/or understaffed. Extremely dissatisfied.

The portions were generous, everything came out hot and fresh, and you could tell ingredients were high quality. Service was friendly and attentive, even with a steady crowd coming through. It’s clearly a local favorite, and now I can see why. If you’re in the Saco area and love a great brunch, The Social Kitchen is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to because this place was so good. I got the Saco which is bacon, Egg, cheese, guacamole and I had them add some greens to it and they did that for no up charge. It was just a couple of pieces of spinach. So I was happy that they didn't charge me for that. The egg was cooked perfectly, middle set. The bacon was also perfect, high quality, cooked how I like it. Not too thin, not too fatty. The bacon is actually meat, not just a slab of stringy fat. The cheese was high quality and perfectly melted. The guacamole was cold, neatly placed and seasoned nicely. It was on a croissant that was light fluffy chewy in the middle and flakey on the outside with butter. It was the best croissant sandwich I've ever had in my whole life. Usually they're a lot heavier and hard to eat. The food was ready in just a couple minutes and I sat down and enjoyed the lovely view and ambiance of this nice cafe. 😊 The prices are spot on and I will be back with my family. Thank you for being in Saco.

I would like to begin by saying I wish that I could rate this place 5 stars as the food is genuinely very good and the front line interactions with customer service are phenomenal. However I cannot because of the way the approach allergens. I have a severe tree nut allergy (which is pretty common) so I assumed a sandwich shop would not have tree nuts unless on the bread or listed elsewhere. When I went I ordered a turkey apple Swiss sandwich on sourdough, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that would make you assume there is tree nuts on this sandwich. However shortly after eating there I had to rush home to take medicine as my throat had begun to close and my stomach was churning. I immediately called social house where I found out that walnuts had been ground up (smoothly in a way that was unrecognizable when eating it) and put in the sauce on the sandwich. There was NO indication anywhere on the menu stating that tree nuts were in this sauce on the sandwich. When I recalled to discuss this with a manger I was sent to voicemail where I left a message asking to speak to a manger and have yet to hear back. While the food was good I unfortunately will not be able to return to social kitchen due to their lack of care in stating allergens and hiding allergens in unsuspecting food. Please do better because the next time someone may not be as lucky as I was.

When I tell you I wouldn't have made it through my first semester without these guys...always great service from the extremely hard working staff who were always friendly despite running around trying to do orders at the same time. I came in a few times a week to do homework and it was a great study space. When you're paying for a coffee or tea here when you dine in, you're also paying for a nice atmosphere that smells good, has great music, and places to sit. As I go on my winter break from school I just wanted to take a minute to thank the staff for always letting me have a space to study and get work done while drinking my earl grays!

Yesterday, my friend and I encountered a woman in her 40s who approached us and started yelling about something we didn’t even do. The baristas were incredibly kind and stepped in to help, speaking with her and making sure we were okay. The manager also got involved and quickly handled the situation, bringing everything back to normal. I highly recommend this Starbucks—the staff is always so nice and helpful to customers. I got some other treats for my grandmother's birthday and I'm sure she enjoyed them as much as I did. Definitely check this place out when you're in downtown Saco!

A hidden gem tucked quietly in the midst of charming downtown Saco!! My 10-year old son and I were strolling through town waiting for his scheduled haircut….On vacation from Charleston, SC, exploring new areas and supporting local businesses is one of our favorite things to do! Such a warm welcome as soon as we walked in! They just celebrated their 1-year storefront anniversary! Grabbed an iced coffee and caramel espresso whoopie pie (because….when in Maine!!!) and our treats were fabulous!! Highly recommend!!

I haven't been able to make it over to the bakery while it is open but I've bought from the after hours table quite a few times and it honestly is so fantastic. The baked goods are super delicious and the creativity and range of what is offered is fantastic. I've recently had the Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookie, a regular chocolate chip, and a cinnamon bun and they were all good. This place is a must every time I cross into Saco, well worth having to deal with the biddo-saco construction for.

Inside the bakery is absolutely adorable and welcoming, a perfect place to stop in grab and treat and enjoy. Our custom cake was beautiful and delicious. A great hit for our party!

I finally got to try this little bakery. There were several baked goodies to try, and I got several cupcakes as well. (My favorites by fare are the Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice—I think they are seasonal). If you’ve got a couple of few minutes, duck in here to find a sweet treat!

Victoria and Sea Spray baked the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes for my son's engagement party. Without a whole lot of direction from me, she provided the perfect cupcakes, so beautifully decorated for the party. Thank you!
