Congdon's Doughnuts is a family-owned establishment that has been serving delicious breakfast and fresh doughnuts since 1955. Their menu features a variety of mouthwatering flavors, including apple fritters, maple bacon fritters, chocolate twists, Bavarian creme, and honey dip. In addition to their delectable pastries, they also offer breakfast fare and brunch cocktails.
THE BEST DONUTS!!! Worth the hype. Truly loved with filling, especially the chocolate, maple and powder filled donuts. So so so good. Long line but moves quick! Friendly service. Reasonable prices. The dough is incredible too. Worth the hype. Even got dog donuts!! Went to the food trucks at Congdon’s after dark as well and had the best chicken wrap with live music. 10/10 recommend

Ordered online the evening before for 0700 pick up. Arrived and walked past the line inside to the pick up counter. Employee searched for order but could not find them on the shelf. She ended up just grabbing a box and getting the donuts for me. Not a very efficient system in my opinion. The fritters (blueberry and maple bacon) were both good. The raspberry filled donut was a bit disappointing. Not much jelly inside, and it seemed more compote like than actual. The actual donut itself was really good. I think next time I would skip the fancier donuts and go with the basics. Actually stopped back by 10 minutes before they closed because it was so busy in the morning I didn’t actually get to see the donuts and other pastry options. My order from the morning was sitting on the shelf all by itself. I did inform the employee that they had already been picked up earlier that morning.

We used the drive through. We got an orange cranberry scone, blueberry fritter and a maple square( this was the most decadent maple thing we have ever eaten! The biscuit sandwich and a bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. All of it was amazingly delicious!!! Way more than expected! Best breakfast sandwiches we have ever had in fact! Thank you for the deliciousness!
Trish O — Google review
I always review things based on the price I pay! At $2.79 per donut and $34 for a bakers dozen (13), they needed to be close to perfect. Donuts (raised and filled) were standard, nothing to be too excited about, but the fritters were excellent (they were sold out of their signature donut, the blueberry fritter, when I ordered at 10:30 AM so I can’t speak to that). Apple was fantastic. There’s also a nice shaded seating area to enjoy. They had a sweet employee who came by to offer complimentary donut holes. Overall I’d recommend it but if you’re more cost conscious you might not think so.

I still am thinking about these donuts a week later. Almost convinced my husband to stop off the highway on our ride back to NYC from Portland just to pick up these donuts. Best donut I’ve ever had. My husband arrived around 8AM on a Saturday morning and waited in line for about 30 minutes. Go early!! Favorite donut was the white cream chocolate frosted. Homemade and delicious, fresh — highly recommend.

This doughnut spot doesn’t look like too much from the street, but delivers some of the best doughnuts 🍩 in New England. I always come here for a treat! Don’t let the lines keep you from eating here. They move fast! Enjoy and your welcome 🤗
Keith M — Google review
Big fans of these donuts! We’re from out of town, and this unassuming shop blew us away. Very fast, even though there was a line when we got there. And the rise on the yeast donuts was incredible—I ate mine before I could get a photo!
Gwen H — Google review
The fritters are mouth watering! We were visiting from NJ and got the blueberry and maple bacon fritters. Never had anything like them in my life! Will definitely be back for more on our next trip to Maine.

The Maine Diner and Gift Shop offers a warm, no-frills space to enjoy classic Maine comfort food such as lobster pie and chowder. Located in Wells, it is surrounded by a variety of great restaurants catering to different tastes and budgets. Nearby Kennebunkport is known for its beaches, historic mansions, lively downtown area with shops and galleries, making it a popular summer vacation spot.
Super cute old school diner with deli pic breakfast. Can be a wait but when we came had no wait at all. Service was great and quick- always check in in for coffee refills. This place has all your staples- enjoyed classic breakfast options and there special of Maine blueberry pancakes. Enjoyed various delicious but had their blast sandwich was perfect. Recommend- a must!

4.19.25 Our 1st time in this area. It's off-season, so lots of parking, no wait, food came out quickly. The service was great because the coffee came fast, and our waitress was friendly and came back to check on us. Everything tasted good. The home fries could have been hotter (temperature-wise). But everything else was good. The vibe is what you'd expect in an old diner. Good stop.
Margaret H — Google review
Typical coastal diner specializing in seafood. The lobster rolls and sandwiches are a classic that should be tried at least. The lobster was good but cones in a pretty sweet hotdog roll which doesn't really do the dish justice. But that seems to be typical way it's eaten. The seafood specialty platter comes with fried prawns, haddock and scallops which are succulent, fresh and tasty. The desserts are also good with a special mention to the carrot cake which was sublime. Good service.
Tim F — Google review
I remember the lobster pie that I tried here when I first visited main 12 years ago and one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We had to stop here with our kids to have them try it as well, this time around tho the whole experience was a bit disappointing: the lobster was really chewy. My crab cake sandwich was pretty bland, I didn’t really taste the crab at all. I also didn’t love the “world famous” seafood chowder, but my dining partner did! I thought it was bland and not thick enough, I should have went with the clam chowder instead! Glad we stopped here to eat but wouldn’t necessarily make it a must stop again. Service was good. Plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot.

Perfect diner experience. Went twice. Waitress first day was great! Lobster roll and clam roll were fantastic. Blueberry pie was a big yum!
Ellen M — Google review
Welcome to the Maine Diner, a staple in Wells, Maine serving quality food at reasonable prices! You can also get breakfast anytime!! I've been visiting this spot since I was a kid and have fond memories. I remember waiting an hour for a table some mornings due to its popularity (luckily this morning there was no wait). This time around I ordered one of their combo plates, the Aces High. It came with everything I was craving, one egg, one strip of bacon, one sausage, toast, AND a blueberry pancake. Everything was delicious, but the star of the show was definitely the pancake, so fricken good. The interior is cool as it has that old school charm and photos of celebrities that I think have visited the diner. Our waitress was very sweet as well and food came out quick. Visit the Maine Diner!!!! Ps. They also have a cute gift shop next door. I got some goodies to bring home for my boyfriend!

August 7, 2025 - “ Stacked & Packed” diner on Rt. 1 in Wells, Maine . . . Serving 1300 to 1400 customers a day in summer ! 😃👍🏼 My wife , her sister, and I enjoyed lunch , only 15 minute wait . Our server Deb moved like the Flash . . . waiting on several tables at once! Can’t get enough fresh seafood , especially from the bowels of Virginia . . . We loaded up on Lobstah rolls, Haddock sandwich, and Half & Half Plate of fried Scallops & Haddock! Maine seafood is the BEST . Deb started me on a bowl of their award-winning Seafood Chowder. Deb confirms their soup wins the Ogunquit Chowderfest often , I did like it! (I prefer the buttery broth of Dolphin’s Fish Chowder in Harpswell) The flavorful lobster chunks were delicious! The lunch seafood entrees were all very good! We really liked the potato salad & Cole slaw side dishes too ! My wife loved the fresh corn muffin ! My scallops & fried haddock was excellent! 😃👍🏼 Over all , a very good diner for lunch ! Thank you ! The Maine Diner’s background about Socrates “ Louie” Toton was very interesting. Seems he operated a Boston diner then retired to Maine . Several sources mention different time periods of this transition . . . was it the late 1940’s? Or 1953? Or early 1960’s? Not so sure . Even the diner website mentions 2 different dates. Eventually Louie started up a garden plot for veggies, then opened his Maine Diner. Over time Dick Henry & wife took over in 1983. By 2018 new owner Jim MacNeill operated the Maine Diner & gift shop. Note: I guess Google Maps lumps this business into both the Maine Diner & Gift Shop. Should be separate for reviewers. I didn’t visit the gift shop. But my wife did, usual “ Maine Stuff” (Jams, magnets, T-shirts, etc. )
Clayton P — Google review
Just read a recent comment that it was off-season. Does that mean for the lobster taste as well? Was disappointed with my lobster roll. It was absolutely bland. If your familiar with Luke's or Mason Famous not even close. The coleslaw had a sour taste to it. And the pickle needed more pickling.I don't think it was ready. Saving grace was the famous seafood chowder. It was so delicious!

Horizons Family Restaurant, a charming café with a white weather-boarded exterior, has been serving delightful breakfast and brunch dishes since 1995. This cozy establishment offers a variety of scrumptious options such as eggs, muffins, pancakes, omelets, and even BLTs upon request. The owner is always present and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Very nice place for breakfast. It is a bit small, so places are limited when you go during the morning rush. The food was very good and prepared perfectly. The waffle with blueberries did not come with fresh blueberries, which is what I was expecting since we were in the season. This is why I put only 4 stars. We will go again for sure.
Eric P — Google review
Took my mom there for the first time for Mother's Day. It was very nice, and we were there early for breakfast & to beat the weekend rush. The portions were large and fairly priced & the staff was friendly and professional. The decor could use a refresh. It did feel at bit dated, but I would recommend it. It's close to Route 1 & the beach.

First time we tried Horizons. My fiance said his lobster Benny was the best he had ever head and that says a whole lot! He ate it right up! Our waitress was amazing she was quick and ontop of all her tables! I had the normal French toast and it was very good as well.

Horizons Family Restaurant in Wells is exactly what you want in a cozy breakfast and brunch spot. It has that classic diner feel—friendly, welcoming, and focused on hearty, satisfying food. The menu offers all the typical diner staples, but the standout for me was the blueberry pancakes. Honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had—fluffy, loaded with fresh berries, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The whole place has a warm, family-style atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your coffee. A true local gem for a comforting start to the day.

Today was maybe my 3rd time in… it’s a MUST Stop when we come to Wells. Today I had an ice coffee to pair with my Irish Benedict LOL. When I ordered the server asked me how I liked the eggs, Light (runny) Medium, or on the harder side. This is THE First ever person to ask me this! Thank you as I don’t like it too runny!! The HOMEMADE Corned Beef Hash was made with love and the English Muffin was toasted just right. All this for under $18. A great meal, homemade with Love, and a fair price. See you soon !!
Lee B — Google review
Food was good, coffee cake muffin best. Service great, as a solo traveler I always feel rushed by waitstaff to give up my table. Not here I felt as welcome and appreciated as a large family would have been. It's a small dinning area so this was a pleasant surprise. Would and probably will eat here again.
Tracey — Google review
The waitress (in a purple t-shirt on 10/4/25) was very rude and seemed put out and abrupt with us! First time here and our group will never be back! We had breakfast. No substitutions. My granddaughter only wanted French toast and bacon, but they couldn't be bothered to offer us a better option. She needed to order the whole $15 meal!! Crazy!! We were never offered refills on coffee. Had to ask for it. I have no idea how they're so busy. Maybe we were all first timers? Ugghh
Cam M — Google review
Horizons is really just your average diner, nothing necessarily spectacular or above average with the food or service. Every breakfast place it seems is already full by 9 and Horizons is no exception, so best to get there early unless you want a 30-60 minute wait! I am gluten free as well, and the server/kitchen are not super knowledgeable right off the bat about the ingredients, however they were diligent to check with me about them to ensure I had a gluten free experience as best as possible!

Delicious food in a cute and cozy setting. The sausage and pepper omelet was amazing and we could tell that all the ingredients were fresh.

This was an absolutely brilliant find on our last day of vacation. This was our first trip to Maine and although the scenery is breathtaking the food has been lacking 😢. Until we had breakfast here 🥰. The food was of outstanding quality and well seasoned and delicious. The staff was welcoming and super attentive without hovering and the patio dining was beautiful. If I could give them 10 stars I would 💫. We will definitely be back.
Christina D — Google review
Came here before playing at the golf course, the best breakfast I’ve had! As someone who eats gluten free, it was such a treat to be able to read a whole menu dedicated to gluten free items. I had the corn beef hash omelette and we all split the blueberry cream cheese stuffed French toast… so delicious! The homemade whipped cream was insanely fresh. We will definitely be back.
Maegan W — Google review
Nice retreat. Outdoor seating feels refreshing. Omelette was great and not oversized like in similar places . Server forgot to inform us they do also eggs any style (which wasn’t on the menu), we heard that from adjacent table. Otherwise treat
Karel N — Google review
Merriland Farm Cafe is such a charming cafe! It's nestled in a residential area right next to a golf course. They have a few seating options available: an outside patio, a "garden room" with high tops and bigger tables for groups, and a classic dining room area. The food was delicious and fresh! I'd recommend making a reservation or getting there when it opens as it can get busy and they may turn away walk-ins. Service was a little slow. Overall, I would recommend and visit again!
Michaela D — Google review
I'm going to jump right in with food, but if you want a tl;dr - go here. Why are you reading this when you can be going here? You're wasting precious time that COULD be used getting this food. I'll start with my food, the Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes. I got mine with Maine Maple Syrup. The brightness of the blueberries is beautifully rounded out by the buttery richness of the cake itself. I tried it with the chantilly cream that came with my fiancees crepes and dear sweet lord baby Jesus it brought a tear to my eye. Speaking of the crepes, my fiancee ordered the lemon crepes with strawberry coulis. The tang of those fruits combined with the crepes and cream made the bite that I received memorable to say the least. The sides, contrary to their name, nearly stole the show. The grilled muffin (orange, cherry and chocolate when we went) was lovely, the bacon straight-up melts in your mouth, and the house potatoes made us feel like fools for requesting condiments before trying them (we ended up going without using them upon taking a first bite). To summarize, it's hard to recall a breakfast as delicious, filling, and sensitive-stomach-safe as the meal we were graced with at Merriland Farm Cafe. We were seated immediately without a reservation, but I would happily wait an hour for a table should the need arise at a later visit. Our server, Tracy, was not only incredibly attentive to our table, but was immensely helpful to a table with severe dietary restrictions near us (Tracy, you rocked it!) An absolute triumph of a meal and a must-try when you're in the area. P.S - the cold brew was amazing as well ^-^
Ava S — Google review
Great food and great service! My friend and I were walk-in, arrived at 9am and were told it would be about an hour wait. It’s such a peaceful spot that we ended up finding a spot to sit nearby the parking until we were seated. Food came fast and was delicious! Great GF (gluten free) options. And, our serving staff and the hostess were very friendly. **Also note: Slightly comical and also disheartening to read reviews of other patrons not having some patience and grace for staff at the Café during peak tourism season. Your serving staff are humans - please treat them so. There’s a risk in trying to walk-in any spots in coastal and southern ME in summer and early fall seasons - so keep that in mind. It’s well worth the wait and I recommend if you’re on a time crunch to reserve a table ahead of time.
T. L — Google review
This place is truly a hidden gem!! Did we wait for our table w a reservation? yes. Did we wait a little bit for our food? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%!! They were short handed and definitely hustling but the manager came over with a tea bread (amazing)for the table and let us know right away. The food was delicious and hot when served 😋 there was a small error with an order and it was fixed very quickly. Can't speak highly enough for liz and the Merriland farm Cafe team . DEFINITELY recommend a reservation and the crepes😊

Brewed Awakenings is a popular spot that combines a hipster vibe with classic offerings, drawing in both locals and tourists. The coffee shop serves breakfast, lunch, and locally roasted coffee from Java Tree. Their Bagel Creations are a hit, offering eight different sandwiches including the favorite Burning Down the House with fried egg, cheddar, guacamole, tomato, and sriracha aioli.
Really friendly staff, amazing iced coffee (taste like cold brew), great breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwich they take the time to crisp the inside, which makes it extra crunchy and delicious. Lots of bacon on the sandwich, enough to take a strip off and give to my dog for a treat and still have enough to cover every bite. They have a bubble machine which my kid played in while they were making our breakfast sandwich... service is not super quick because they make everything as ordered, so expect to wait at least 10 min if there is a small line, probably 20 for a big line. While you're waiting, check out the chicken coop and goats! The goats are very friendly and like to be pet (they wagged their tails when we approached and stood on a box so we could give them some scratches). Great experience, feels very wholesome and delicious---a classic Maine summer vibe.
Suzie G — Google review
Once I discovered how bad the breakfast at my hotel was, I came here every morning. The iced coffee was very smooth and the bagels were great. I love the property, watching the chickens and the goats. The lounge can get long, I didn't, but you can order online. And they have seating inside but it's mostly a take out place. So cute and so tasty

Wonderful spot for breakfast. Plenty of seating. Limited parking although it works. Goat pen out back. The food is phenomenal. Creative items and fun names. Lots of beverage options. I'd highly recommend this place. You can also see the ocean from the front of the building. Also, side note I'm a vegetarian and there are plenty of options.

Found brewed awakenings by accident, so happy that I did! Just stopped in for a hot coffee and it was the best coffee I had in a long time! Delicious and nice and hot. Came back again on a Tuesday but they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Was headed out to Kennebunkport and decided to stop for a nice hot coffee again and a lox bagel sandwich. Worth every penny, super fresh and delicious. Will stop here whenever I am in the area. The people are super friendly and there is a lovely outside atmosphere to sit and eat. There are some goats and chickens on the property as well.

Rollover Cafe is a charming spot that offers a cozy atmosphere for breakfast and lunch. It's well-known for its pet-friendly patio, where you can enjoy gourmet coffee, pastries, and made-to-order wraps or sandwiches while your furry friend indulges in homemade dog treats. The cafe also offers a 'wolfie breakfast' for dogs. Located near Wells Beach, it's a great place to grab delicious muffins, lobster rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and refreshing beverages before heading to the beach.
I promise you won’t find a better place to get food as close to Wells beach than at Rollover Cafe! This spot has the best breakfast and lunch, and plenty of gluten free options as well. The staff is extremely friendly and hard working. You can tell as soon as you walk in that the staff and owners put in 100% effort to satisfy their customers. Also, now they sell beer, wine, and canned cocktails this year! I shared a mimosa tower with my friend that was an absolute steal for the price. My favorite breakfast item is the tail wager wrap, and my favorite lunch item is the Italian combo. Oh and the best part… BEACH DELIVERY!!!! You will not regret stoping by rollover cafe! :)

Rollover Cafe is a hidden gem in an amazing location right near Wells Beach! We absolutely loved starting our mornings with their flavored brewed iced coffee. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating of my vegan diet. The pretzel was fresh and delicious, and the fact that they even deliver to the beach is such a bonus! With an arcade just across the street and a playground next door, it’s the perfect spot for families. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Wells!

Just stopped in this morning for a breakfast sandwich. Sausage, egg & cheese on an English Muffin. The young man who was at the counter was very friendly. The sandwich I ordered was DELICIOUS !! Definitely stop in for a bite to eat if you are at Wells Beach. Excellent service & food.

Really glad we found this place, we've driven by before and never noticed it! It's a small spot with a few outdoor tables and just a stones throw to the beach. This would be a great first stop to pickup a picnic lunch to take to the beach, or enjoy at their tables. The staff is super friendly and it was clear they take pride in the food they are making, using some of their family recipes. Our order was cooked up very quickly and we enjoyed eating outside on the tables in the sun. The meatball sub was delicious with very flavorful meatballs (something you should expect, but isn't always the case these days)! The other wrap we tried, iced coffee and muffin were also very good. The restaurant is very neat and clean. Note this is a dog friendly spot, so feel free to bring your pup, as they have a special menu for them. There are also photos of the dogs who have visited inside. We only met one cute pup this visit!

The Paws-itive Vibe location is the place to be for an early morning latte and breakfast burrito! Cute, casual, and totally pet friendly! Super beach vibe and beautifully done! The location is well kept and clean, with a fresh makeover for the new summer season to come! The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. They timely and everything was fresh and flavorful. I ordered a large latte that was perfectly caffeinated and an absolute delight to drink. For breakfast I had "The Tail Wagger Wrap". The tail wagger was a deliciously fresh breakfast burrito with the perfect about of sautéed veggies, sausage, egg, and cheese!! Totally mouth watering to the point it left me wanting more!!!

Such a cute place right near Wells Beach. Great vibe. Super friendly service. Excellent food. Dine in or take out. We did both! This trip we had the meatballs and the Mediterranean Platter AND a 1/2 bottle of wine. All very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend !

This is a jewel of a place right next to the beach. The food is amazing. They deliver to the beach. The staff is amazing and very accommodating.. The quality of food that comes out is great and we can bring our fur babies. We have attended a couple of night hours with DJ And being able to watch sporting events outside with a couple of cocktails. I highly recommend if you’re in the area❤️❤️❤️

A great cafe, with incredible service, delicious breakfast, and even better vibes! This cafe fits right into the New England charm that embodies Wells, and is a wonderful place to make a pit stop. Highly recommend a classic breakfast sandwich on your choice of bagel, or a meatball sub! You won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain known for its classic burgers and fries. The service varies, but it's generally good. Some people have mixed feelings about the appearance of McDonald's, but others appreciate the convenience of ordering through their app. The food is consistent across all locations and offers a reasonable meal at an affordable price. Service speed can vary depending on how busy they are, with wait times ranging from less than 5 minutes to over 10 minutes during peak hours.
Every morning I am welcomed by Usually by Lorraine a manager, and all the other great staff make my ice coffee that I like made a bit unusual and it's always Perfect. Or my iced sweet tea with lemon. The staff there work so hard and never miss a beat and make my order with perfection and with great smiles and good morning. A great way to begin my morning!! Thank you to all McDonald's Sanford staff for making my morning that much more pleasant thank you!! 🙏

We were on the drive-through and got lunch. Our special request for without pickles has been granted. Food was fresh and hot, and quick. Everyone was friendly and coffee was good too. One of the better McDonald's. We loved the view in the parking lot

Horrible place. They don’t have breakfast burrito meal or burritos even a little after 7am. And they shove people behind you in front of you in line even though you’ve been waiting for over 5 minutes in the drive through line and they don’t care to be kind. Their food is very salty and they give you sweet tea even when you ask them to double check it is unsweetened. Definitely not worth the too high prices they are charging now.

Got some McFlurrys. It was after 9pm and the outside lights were off. How can you see the building driving at night?
Patriot ( — Google review
The SLOWEST McDonald’s anywhere. We gave up waiting in line, went elsewhere. No sense of urgency by the staff to keep the drive-thru lines moving. If you can’t keep up, close one of the lines! BTW, we were in line 30 minutes, didn’t even get around the corner from the drive-thru to the building. As we drove to the exit, we observed staff doing nothing. NOT acceptable! We’ve been in the restaurant and seen staff more interested in their phones than on serving customers. Make them lock phones up when they clock in so no distractions.
Sunny S — Google review
I know it’s McDonald’s, but every once in a while for whatever reason someone has to go there whether you’re in a hurry or it’s just convenient. The Wells McDonald’s is the absolute most disorganized operation. I have ever seen the people there put in zero effort and are just clueless to everything going on around them. I went there once at the beginning of the summer and once at the end, nothing has changed and this is just through the drive-through. Again, I don’t expect much at McDonald’s, but it should be a little bit better than this! Do better people.
Mark M — Google review
Writing this review simply to thank an employee for her patience and kindness! 8/5 around 11:00 we came through the drive through and she was so friendly to us. Thank you! Wish we’d gotten her name.
Allison B — Google review
All tables were dirty with food, girl taking orders messed up the order, waited 15 min for the food, went asking about it and the assistant manager said it was my fault it was sitting at an empty table the whole time. The counter girl attached a table number to the ticket with out telling me. Manager was yelling out table number not the ticket number. Then we had to eat cold food. Completely ridiculous for Customer service.

For the Love of Food + Drink at Saltwater Farm is a pleasant restaurant with attentive and welcoming servers. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and portion sizes are decent. With a grab-and-go section, it offers a convenient option for those who don't want to wait long at other nearby places. Despite occasional busyness, finding parking or seating is never too difficult. Recently acquired by For the Love of Food and Drink, this establishment serves impressive meals for both breakfast and lunch.
This place is outrageous. We ended up stopping unexpectedly and it was Sunday brunch . AMAZING. The best homemade hash EVER. Everything is homemade including the hot sauce . HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Mimosa with breakfast . Wendy and her husband own it. Their daughter Ohara runs it with them . They’re delightful . Live music on Sundays . Do yourself a favor

This is the perfect location for a bridal/baby shower! The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful on the day of our event. The venue is cozy and easy to find, and the food was delicious!

The food was delicious, and I really appreciated the extra care they took to make sure there was no cross-contamination, just as I requested. The customer service was excellent, and Chef Bill went above and beyond—he’s truly amazing! Highly recommend this place.

Was just at a “Friends” themed bridal for my granddaughter yesterday! This venue was perfect for it! The tables looked really nice and the food, omg, the food! It was very very nicely presented and all of it was just so so yummy! It was a really nice variety and I defy anyone to say they couldn’t find something they liked! A great room for a fun time! Will be recommending!! Thanks for making my girl’s shower a success!

My family and I were just here for a Mystery 207 dinner show, and it was great: plenty of parking, clean establishment, friendly staff, and great food. They also cater/accommodate dietary restrictions, which is amazing. My partner and I can’t eat gluten, and when we were kind of mentioning it to ourselves and standing in line for the buffet, a friendly gentleman came out from the back kitchen area to provide us gluten-free macaroni and cheese to go with our chicken. Later on in the evening while the staff was handing out desserts to the patrons, he came back out with gluten-free cheesecake for us. We really, truly appreciate the staff going out of their way for us, and we’ll definitely visit again soon. ❤️

Borealis Breads has quickly become a beloved spot for sandwich enthusiasts in town. With an array of delectable options, the turkey bacon melt with cheddar and raw onions stands out as a favorite among patrons. The multi-grain and rosemary breads are both exceptional, adding to the overall experience. While some reviews have pointed out that prices may be on the higher side and the atmosphere can get quite warm, many agree that the quality of food makes it worth a visit.
I absolutely LOVE this place! My new favorite sandwich shop in town!!!! They have the best sandwiches!!!! My favorite is the turkey bacon melt with cheddar cheese and raw onions. I've had both the multi-grain bread and just recently tried the rosemary bread! It is to die for!!!! Prices are reasonable. The girls are so pleasant and social!!!!
Stephanie C — Google review
This place has been knocked around a bit in reviews recently. I really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich, and recommend giving Borealis a shot. Its definitely a pinch too expensive, and (holy crap it is so hot in there), but the food is worth trying.
Greg A — Google review
I’m reviewing this as a sandwich shop. That being said, this place is more well known as a bakery focused on bread making. They had two counter service people working. Both were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. It’s a good looking operation, but it may be a little all over the place with its purpose. I say this as it did present itself as a bakery cafe with specialty foods, but had a lot of Knick-knacks possibly just to fill space. As for food, they were on the right track with showcasing their bread options in their sandwich selections (again, a strength). They just fell flat on their condiments and the amount and quality of the protein. Content was lacking and what I thought should be two tasty choices fell real flat and to the point of leaving a bad taste in our mouths. The culprits here were condiments: garlic aioli and pesto. Way to strong. The other issue was the pressing process. Whatever they used made the incredibly fresh bread dense and heavy. I like some other reviewers was feeling like this was going to be a 5 star review prior to eating the sandwiches. Hey, the positive is with just a few changes they could easily fix this and improve. Focus on a fuller, fresher sandwich and get some input on what accoutrements would highlight their awesome bread choices. Steer clear of overpowering add-ons. I’ll still go back and buy products from these guys. Again, they seem to be really nice people with very reputable baked goods.

Best BLT I have ever had! And the chocolate croissant are always amazing. Staff is always amazing and works hard! Thank you for your amazing service!
Kaytee G — Google review
Ordered two sandwiches for pickup; terrible service and the sandwiches were overpriced for what they were, small and lacked flavor. Bread for the paninis were soggy and cold.
Ashley S — Google review
Bummer. We got there a little late in the day but, despite being a labeled a bakery it seems like more of a sandwich shop. No real loaves for sale so we skipped the bread. Kid wanted a smoothie. $7. That’s fine. Except it is 100% not a smoothie. It’s a slushee - just a couple of pumps of flavored syrup and ice and even my kid didn’t want to drink it. 0/10. Do not recommend. Staff was friendly and nice.
Michelle D — Google review
Wow. Talk about an unbelievably bad experience. Service was an absolute joke, honestly I don’t know how or why this place is still in business. Don’t waste your time or money, there are much better places to eat.

Very convenient location as it's right in front of the village by the sea hotel. I've always had good service here during the summer.

Ordered 3 bacon, egg and cheese on bagels at the drive thru and no cheese on either of them. This is the second time my orders gave been missing items from sandwiches. Please pay more attention, these aren't cheap. I would have gone back but we were on our way north.

This place probably would have got a better review if they were actually open when they were supposed to be. Had to go down to cumberland gas station to get coffee. Supposedly, the east coast runs on dunkin'.Donuts, this store must have not have gotten the memo.
Joe B — Google review
I use the AP, staffing shortages and a door locked at 6am that should have been opened at 5am. One very large employee was not happy that I interrupted her smoke break and got very. Salty when I complained. Not again!
Paul F — Google review
My bride and I both enjoy Dunkin Coffee. The only thing that is a bit annoying is their new pickup system. You order your coffee, food, etc. and go to the next window to pick them up. My wife always gets a bagel to go with her coffee. The bagels are now kept in the food prep area as most people probably get them toasted with butter, cream cheese, etc. She never gets anything on it, just a bagel, unsliced that they put in a bag for her. Since no one has to toast or slice it, no one bags it either. This happens every time we order a plain bagel. After standing there awhile waiting for a bagel and watching customers behind me leave with their food, I usually say something and they often seem annoyed. The next four days we are on vacation, the same situation occurs. Should be a simple fix but no one seems to notice.

there’s a lot of creepy old men customers who ruin the vibe (by being weird with the workers esp the young girls who are not of age and make almost every employee uncomfortable) . place also got remodeled (they forgot about the floors tho), and staff works to the best of their abilities.

honestly i usually don’t make reviews on fast food chains, i worked at them for almost half of my life. i get it’s stressful, i understand you forget things. i go to dunks multiple times a week, my order always being the same. rockstar can, everything bagel minis and loaded hashbrowns. istg everytime i go here i literally don’t get bacon wich comes with loaded hashbrowns. mannnnn i just want some bacon with my hash but i never get it here. everything else was good. and reason im leaving a 2 star is bc i sucked it up and ate it. but seriously who wants just hash browns and Queso????

I was doing laundry next door. The woman greeting me was amazing. She told me about the coffee special. She is so sweet and social and informative. Thank you so much. A bright spot in my day.
Karen C — Google review
Went there 2 times. Asked them to toast a bagel they didn't do the day before. I got the same result the second time. Setting the toaster to 1 so you can get them through the machine quickly barely warms it and doesn't cook it. I haven't had this problem in past years. We won't go again.
Jody B — Google review
Typical Dunkins but even though ee went while very busy they were super fast. My pumpkin spice coffee and old fashioned donut eas great
Heather S — Google review
The Dunkin' by Ogunquit Beach was staffed by employees who didn't even know that a coffee filter goes in tbe coffee maker. Got a lovely cup of coffee grounds thay was cold with about 1/4 cup of coffee in it. Stay away from here if you are looking for a coffee to drink.

The ladies at the drive through were very nice and their camaraderie was very nice to see. And we got two free donuts. The coffee was perfect.

They were quick and friendly but didn’t have any Dunkin’ midnight because it was cleaned up already. bummer!
