Love this Badi. I go to the Ladies section. The bar has nice healthy food at reasonable prices, but they have always stress. Lockers, showers, wc, etc. Nice view

Always very busy, but come in the mornings to the women’s side and you’ll get to relax with an unobstructed beautiful view on the lake and the alps. Showers and changing rooms are available.

Great place to have a swim in the super clean lake of Zurich and have a drink. No, the drinks and the food are expensive. But you will have a great experience in return. It is also has a relax atmosphere and not a lot / almost no tourists.

Outstanding local Sauna, with plunging directly into the lake. We’d been seeking a sauna on our trip to Zurich and this didn’t disappoint. Excellent hospitality and clean facilities. You won’t be disappointed here.

We rented an electric boat for 3 hours on Lake Zurich and it was easy, reasonably priced and efficiently run. We will definitely do this again!

Guys at the counter were not trying to help at all. Just so you know, when someone who is clearly a tourist and has a 20 kilo backpack on their back approach the facility, you dont look at their faces and say nothing. You start explaining how things work and try to help. Felt like i was interrogating your guys just to get some information. Hey and if you think the customer doesn't fit the profile, just say your exclusive nicely and be done with it.

Letten Pool is such a fun and unique place to swim — where else can you float down a clean city river with locals, jump off diving boards, and sunbathe on wooden decks, all for free? The water is crystal clear and refreshing, with a nice current that carries you down the Limmat (strong swimmers only!). There’s a great vibe here — lots of locals, chilled-out music, and a few pop-up bars and snack spots nearby. It’s very clean, and there are lockers and change rooms available too. Perfect for a hot summer day. Just grab a towel, a swim suit, and a 2-franc coin for the locker, and you’re good to go. 🌊 Tip: Wear water shoes — the riverbed can be a little sharp. ☀️ Tip: Come early or later in the evening to avoid the crowds. Easily one of the best public swimming spots I’ve ever been to. Don’t miss it if you’re in Zürich in the summer!

I can barely afford anything in Swiss, but this outdoor swimming pool is FREE. They have a locker, changing room, shower, and toilet for FREE. All you need to do is to swim, read, sleep, drink, and repeat.

Great place to sunbathe and take a swim at lake. Towels are available for rent, I paid for the rental plus a deposit that was returned to me after turning back. I also purchased a lock to leave my belongings in the changing area. You can buy food onsite. They have floating platforms. It’s really nice. Their website indicates water temperature and occupancy. It was a great time visiting during the summer.

Incredible public swimming area right on the river. Amazing way to spend a nice summer day. Plenty of lockers for changing and many options to lay out, enjoy the sun and play in the water. They also have a restaurant for you to enjoy food and drink. Highly recommend.

My friend and I visited the women’s area — we really liked it! It’s a relaxed space where you can chat without unwanted attention. At Seebad Utoquai is really nice view of sunset 🌇, but you just need a bit of patience to wait for the best spots to enjoy it😁

Amazing views and beautiful lakes

You can see 5-7 different types of fish while swimming here. Some are as large as an arm. I saw around 50 fishes in an evening. Especially from the shallow area, look into the deep sea.

It's a natural water body that is used for swimming and other summer activities. Loved the walking path to get to the place. They have designated shallow water side for kids to play. You need to go early to find a nice spot to spend the afternoon.

Very very nice to take a walk into the forest and there is a nice small lake. You can grill there and order the food from a small bistro. Surprisingly the food from the bistro quite good and price is very reasonable. Swim is possible. Parking place is enough. **(Hier ist Natur Schutz)

A beautiful experience in the woods. It was such a lovely stroll. Family friendly and it was easy enough and no difficuly passages etc.

It's a beautiful place to spend day at. You can take your own coal and have a bbq, there is also a playground with a restaurant. ( reasonable prices). You can also swim in the lake and walk around to see the beautiful flowers. There is no entrance fee.

Swimming in the lake was a great experience. Besides swimming, there are good possibilities to do other sports such as chess and table tennis. The quality of showers both outside and inside is excellent. It is clean and orderly everywhere. Of course the Zurich lakeside was busy on a Sunday on which we had nice warm weather. Even though there were 1,637 other visitors at the Badi when I entered (according to the display next to the cashier), I nevertheless managed to find a semi-quiet, shady spot where I could relax and listen to my audiobook in relative peace. I found it very refreshing to be able to dip my toes into the lake to cool down a bit.

Had to pay to get in but not much. Was so worth it. They had a tuck.shop there and a resteraunt. Shower rooms and toilets. It is a grassy beach with steps that go into the water, a kods section, diving boards and pontoons in the water. They even have table tennis. Nice photo opplrtunitoes as there are little rockpool seating areas ( not many) . It does get bisy in the afternoon tho. Was ome of my favourite days in Switzerland

Okay place. 6 CHF for my daughter in a wheelchair. Companion was free. I was 8 CHF. Easy to get in and out of the water. Staff were friendly. We went early and there were a few people about but not many.

Incredibly low service quality, even for Zurich standards -- staff is often more concerned about discussing about their weekend plans than providing service to the customer. You can thus easily happen to wait 10 minutes for a cup of coffee while only 3 people are in line.. Highly recommended to buy your food and beverages beforehand.

Very lovely relaxing place. We have been there in winter, I would love to come back there in summer to swim in the lake.

It is a nice place to see stunning views and have a quiet moment by the lake. There was a sandy area which was clean. The water was crystal clear and easily accessible for swimming. Plus, a large green area for picnics and sunbathing. There was, also, a diving platform that had three different heights. Early on a weekday in the spring, it was empty of people, but I can see it being very busy during the summer. There were toilets facilities nearby, though I did not use them, so I can not comment on them. It is an open park, so the area is accessible to people who use a wheelchair. There are a choice of hard surface paths or grass.

Most excellent place! All the areas to swim and sunbathe, paddle board rentals, amazing cafeteria, lots of space to spread out and friendly crowd. What a treat! We spent all day here on our visit to Zurich.

It’s nice and spacious, a lot of big trees to find shade under and it’s easy to get into the water. Two 2️⃣ penalty points: 1) the food. Hiltl is just not Badi-food. I mean Soy Fake Chicken Nuggets? And the buffet style leads to soggy fries. 2) the Beach is more gravel stones and dust than it is sand :( But the children’s area is the best I have seen here in Zurich.

I love the autumn colours of this place. My daughter had a great time playing with the sand and the water. There is a dock where people swim and sun bathe, and a modest playground nearby.

Visiting from the USA and happened to walk by, and decided to take a chance and check it out. For only 8 CHF, this was a steal for a relaxing afternoon on the lake with the locals. Lots of gnats in the grass, be warned.

free entry and very family-friendly. there are pools for kids, a lively atmosphere, and a kiosk where you can get food, snacks, and drinks (expect typical zürich prices). down below, there’s access to the limmat river (for adults only) also free, with a wooden platform to sit and relax. it’s a great spot for summer days, though it can get quite crowded in the afternoon.

One of my favorite summer spots in Zürich and probably one the best places in Europe for swimming (or rather "being carried by the water") ... for free, including the shower/toilet/lockers facilities (bring coins for deposit though) and life watch. Super clean water, stunning views of the city / rail viaduct, wooden deck to sunbath, but also opportunities to jump from the old rail bridge, or even a bit of bouldering - if one wants to extend the journey. Summer open-air cinema events to be indulged as well.

Great city amenity for the public. Clean water to swim/float due to the strong current. Lots of fun places to jump into the water from. Diving board. The arch of the bridge, or even the very top of the bridge. Cool rope swing over the water. Favourite part is the 73m long rock climbing/buildering route (traverse) deep water solo style. Not sure if it's graded. Tough to judge the grade because of the length. I'd estimate approx. 5b but it could be made more difficult/interesting by eliminating use of the pipes or metal components. Overall very enjoyable. Combine with a campus attempt across the river on the underside of the arch bridge.

It's a nice place that you could safely swim in the river for free! Diving and swim in the direction of the river flow is easy, just be careful with the stopping metallic fences. You have to push them with your legs not hands :)

Very nice place for swimming during hot summer days 🔥 They also got life guards watching over the swimmers. It's very crowded on the weekend but still an awesome spot to cool down. There are like two parts: one up the hill with a public swimming pool, a kids area and a takeaway and also a part where you can swim in a gated part of the river Limmat 🌊🌞

It’s quite a good place for kids. There are 2 pools, food court, sausages, green grass, a beach and a slide. But!!! Working hours don’t match with their official time! The area is small but functional with nice pools and spectacular food (Hiltl). Lots of shady areas on the grass. Water temperatures may be a bit low for very young children.

The Badi has a perfect size and is very clean. Amazing for kids. Only downgrade: the price for the food is delusional. Its extremely high. An appetizer portion of salad costed me 21chf today.

I truly love this place because of the pool and location, go their every summer for the last 15 years, but staff here are so mean, they definitely hate their jobs and do everything in their power to make a bad day experience for visitors. Absolutely hate families with kids, lifeguards just sit and chat, and when there’s really a dangerous situation - do nothing. Walk in the other direction . Saw it hundreds of times. But!!!! When someone puts a different sort of blanket on the grass, or puts a stroller with a sleeping newborn closer for 1 m to the pool area, run screaming. No exceptions, only rules, every lifeguard has its own crazy ones. Love the place, but people working here give me and my kids the hard time every day we visit. And no - pool is never heated

Josefwiese is a very nice park near Hardbrücke. It’s a good place to hang out in the grass with tasty restaurants nearby. There are , of course, many families and children at the playground so it’s perhaps not the best place to relax, if you intend to take a nap in the sunshine😌

Great place to come with kids, though not as pleasant as before after filling all playgrounds with sawdust. If you are coming with baby on a busy weekend, it can be long waiting time for swings as there are only 2 suitable for kids under 2 years old and they are always busy. But there is a nice sand playground (now party dirty with sawdust) and some fountains to run through for kids. A slide can be extremely hot during summer days as is is not enough shadow there. But on colder days it is a lot of fun.

Peaceful park in the center of a residential neighborhood. Near the train line, busy in nice weather, people playing ping pong, volleyball , and pétanque.

Very nice place to relax, with large meadow and shadows provided by trees. Now it's a bit hot and the sunshine may be too strong, but staying under the shadow would just be fine. Many good cafes are also nearby. So the adults can have a drink while watching the kids playing in the ground.

We had a summer event yesterday evening there. The location and the badi are fantastic, however, the treatment from the event host was very disappointing and unprofessional. Talking to guests in such way is definetely a no-go.

Nice location, restaurant and bar onsite, staff is a bit grumpy, life guard chatting and not looking, space for screaming kids swimming.... avoid if that's bot your thong. Paddle boards and surf boars classes. Good for visiting alone as safe and no one bothers you if you're lucky.

It really close to Rote Fabrik. It is a smaller place but offers divers water sports such as wind surfing and standup paddling.

Really nice, relaxing and quiet. We came on a Friday afternoon and there was plenty of space available, with hardly anyone in the lake. Compared to Mythenquai, it was also cleaner, quieter and had plenty of sun loungers available for a 2 CHF deposit. The little cafe has a nice selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, hot food and ice creams. There are also some tables with umbrellas to sit by the lake.

We had a fun day of touring with Ray. We saw many sights and sections of the City. He had pictures and history to share. Our path was about 8 miles. My family of 5 handled the ride very easy, even the 12 year old.

I went on Ray Riders’ city tour and also on a custom ride from Zurich to Uetliberg. Ray provides the bikes, water and helmet if you need one . All you have to do is turn up and enjoy the ride! Ray looks out for the safety of his clients and i would readily recommend it to anyone keen to see parts of Zurich by bike

Brilliant tour with Ray who was super informative on all sorts of really interesting facts about Zurich that you would not normally find out. His relaxed friendly style meant we all felt comfortable asking questions along the way. The ride took about 3hours and took in some really cool and quirky stops along the way - much much better than a standard tick box tourist/sightseeing ride. (We even managed a cheeky beer on the mid tour break at this awesome open air venue and the bag shop we went to is epic but I needed more time so I could have purchased one lol). Couldn't recommend going on a tour with Ray enough!!

A great way to quickly and easily discover so much about Zurich; some of it's rich history and contempory events. Ray is a great host able to provide a huge amount of knowledge in an entertaining and casual manner tempered with an obvious passion for his home city. Highly recommend for anybody wanting to discover more about Zurich beyond the immediate environs of the Old Town area.

Our guide Ray was very informed, ready to answer all types of questions about Switzerland. The route could not have been assembled by a visitor to the city, it included many "off the beaten path highlights". The bikes were comfy, easy to adjust for touring, water and helmets. Great family event!!

Ray leads a bike tour primarily to the less touristy spots in downtown Zurich where people actually live and work. The highlight for me was visiting the area of the Limmat River reserved for the hundreds of swimmers drifting downstream with the current.
