The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a poignant tribute to the victims of the 1995 Murrah Building bombing. The memorial features a reflective pool and a garden, along with 168 chairs representing each victim of the attack, including 19 children who were in the building's daycare. The museum provides in-depth information about the bombing and Timothy McVeigh's trial, offering visitors context for their visit.
This was really cool. I love that the memorial took out part of the street in order to make the reflecting pool. It is moving and quiet in the middle of the city. It was simple but poignant. My son was with us (18 yrs) and he did not take know any details so it was great to be able to talk him through history that I remembered from when I was 12. We did not have time to do the museum, which would have answered a lot of his questions but we did the best we could but the interactive video screens were extremely helpful. I truly recommended stopping if you are in OKC. I also suggest going across the street to the church memorial and reading the story there. Worth the time.

Review of the Oklahoma City National Memorial ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 Stars) Visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial was an incredibly moving and humbling experience. The site is beautifully designed, with powerful symbolism throughout—especially the Field of Empty Chairs, which honors each life lost in the 1995 bombing. The atmosphere is respectful and reflective, and it’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space for both remembrance and healing. One of the highlights of our visit was speaking with a National Park Ranger on site. His deep knowledge and thoughtful storytelling added a whole new layer of meaning to our experience. The insight he shared about the significance of each part of the memorial helped us connect more personally with the events and the resilience of the Oklahoma City community. It’s clear he is passionate about his role, and it made a real difference in our visit. This memorial is a must-visit for anyone in the area—both to pay respects and to better understand an important part of American history.

Amazing museum! The memorial grounds are a beautiful tribute to the victims. The museum lays the whole event and aftermath out very logically and detailed. The artifacts on display combined with the survivor videos leave a lasting impact.
Eric G — Google review
What an incredibly touching memorial that can move the strongest person to tears. You can feel the pain at this memorial with so many innocent young and old lives lost. This was a beautiful memorial to honor those lives lost and those left behind. The outdoor memorial was very well constructed and the museum inside was eye opening and jaw dropping. Worth the experience as you will learn, see and hear actual recordings from that day. 💔
Kay — Google review
We were traveling back from the Rocky Mountains and decided to stop and see the memorial. It was absolutely beautiful. We did not have time to see the museum but the gentleman that helped us outside was great about answering any questions we had. Definitely worth the stop! The gateways were very touching.
Alesha H — Google review
Visiting the memorial and museum was a powerful experience. I was 5 or 6 when this happened and don't have the most vivid memory of it so I'm glad to have visited to more truly understand the gravity of this tragedy. Our country would benefit by everyone visiting to see what happens when we give in to hatred and extremism but also to see the best in us when we come together and stand united.
Alex K — Google review
Such a beautiful tribute to all affected by this horrible event. Planned on just going to the memorial but it was so beautiful that I had to come back the next day to the museum. While at the memorial a ranger came out and gave us a bit of history on the memorial, museum, and some facts about the bombing. I recommend everyone visiting at least once.
Amanda B — Google review
We visited this very moving memorial and museum for the Oklahoma City Bombing by McVay in 1995. The outdoor guided tour around the reflection pool and the Empty Chairs representing the victims killed was very informative! Each chair was etched with the name of the victim. Each row of chairs represented the victims killed on each of the 9 floors of the building. The chairs light up at night and look like they are floating in the night.

The Oklahoma State Capitol is a historic government building completed in 1917, known for its impressive artwork and veteran's memorial. The building offers guided tours and features the iconic dome added after 85 years of being unfinished. The interior views of the dome are breathtaking, with 'The Guardian', a statue of an American Indian by Enoch Kelly Haney, topping the exterior.
A top tier capitol building. Outside is nothing special and similar to many other capitols, but the inside is great and the grounds are nice. They have easy parking right at the building. There are nice exhibits also. I enjoyed my visit.
Dennis L — Google review
If the Capitol Building is the people's house, the people in OKC must be filthy rich, because this place was fancy! Marble everywhere, but also compelling artwork throughout. Saw some cool pictures as well of people from OK. The guided tours are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Definitely worth a visit.
Dan P — Google review
Of the five capital cities I've visited, the Oklahoma Capitol is undoubtedly the cleanest and most captivating. Its pristine condition is remarkable, with not a speck of dust anywhere. The ground floor offers both a museum and a gift shop, and abundant literature detailing its history and origins is readily available. Security was notably thorough, covering the parking lot, the building's exterior, and its interior. It was truly amazing! I was incredibly impressed by the Oklahoma Capitol staff.

While in Oklahoma City, we went to the state Capitol building. first off, it is a beautiful building, with many pieces of artwork. also is very informative aswell with a small museum inside. great information on the history of the land, native americans, oil and more. it's free to enter (all state Capitol buildings i have been to have been free to enter). they do have guided tours at selected times.

Beautiful building inside and out with countless examples of interesting architecture and artwork. The museum inside highlighting Oklahoma’s government history was real interesting too. A well worth it visit when in OKC!

Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, Myriad Botanical Gardens & Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory is a 15-acre urban oasis that offers a variety of attractions for both locals and visitors. The gardens feature formal gardens, a tropical conservatory, and even a dog park. Visitors can enjoy the serene green space with streams, an interactive playground, and live music at the contemporary band shell.
Loved my experience here! Beautiful gardens to sit, relax and admire! I really enjoyed how most of the park is free to experience. They have really nice art pieces throughout the park. They also have a really fun children’s park which has a neat rainfall experience for all the kiddos to just have a blast at! My favorite was looking into the pond and viewing all the massive coy! A must see for everyone who enjoys hanging out outdoors!
David K — Google review
The Myriad Botanical Gardens is an interesting one compared to other botanical gardens I’ve been to before. The outside area is open to the public and free. The indoor area is also open to the public but $10.50/adult. Taking a look at it from the outside it is clear that it is not that big. It looks like 30 minutes would be ample time to explore the whole thing. I thought that the beautifully maintained outdoor area that surrounds the indoor area was enough for me. I probably walked around the perimeter for about 20-25 minutes at a leisurely pace. If you have time to kill and really like botany, paying the entry fee may be worth it for you. The nice woman at the welcome center did say they have indigenous plants there as well as a waterfall.
David C — Google review
We visited during the Pumpkin Festival. Highly recommend! Great value. I enjoyed the arboretum itself too. Many tropical plants, succulent and cacti. Though I do hope they compost or cook those 10,000 pumpkins!
Analemma S — Google review
This was my first time visiting the garden. My experience was so magical. I love plants, so seeing all the variety of flowers, herbs and trees was amazing. It was so peaceful just to sit and enjoy. There was a dog park and lots of different water features. I highly recommend for you to stop by if you are in the area. It was a serene place for me.
Brigitte C — Google review
The plants are so pretty in the Botanical Gardens building as well as outside in the surrounding area. If you don't do well in the heat, you might not be able to go to the second floor. I asked someone who works there and she said it is usually about 120° up there. Well worth looking at though if you can stand the heat. Very beautiful place!!
Carolyn F — Google review
My family loves this place! My parents took me and my brothers here when we were kids, and I loved it. I now take my kids, and they love it as well. Definitely a cool and unique botanical garden/greenhouse experience. I also love the unique plants you'll find walking through the greenhouse, some are unexpected (and hidden/hard to see). All the walkways and scenery surrounding this building are beautiful and a joy to walk through!
Justin V — Google review
A great and lovely place to stroll through. The conservatory was fantastic. A word of caution. I read somewhere they had a restaurant and I saw signs in the garden pointing the way. But the restaurant closed down at some point in the past. If you walk across the street, northwest corner of gardens, look for the Devon nebu building where there are different eateries. There was plenty of metered parking on some of the streets around the facility.
Max H — Google review
Have walked the grounds outside before, but finally got to visit the inside recently. This place is truly a piece of heaven on earth; so much to admire and take in the beauty of! All of the parasols hanging above were an elegant touch. Can't wait to come here again as soon as I have an opportunity!

Historic Sites
The Henry Overholser Mansion, a historic landmark in Oklahoma City, was built in 1903 by Henry Overholser and his wife Anna. The mansion is located in the Heritage Hills neighborhood and features impressive Victorian-style architecture with French stained glass windows and Antwerp oak paneling. Despite its initial puzzling location outside the city's core, the area around the mansion has since developed into a tree-lined neighborhood. Visitors can take guided tours of the 11,000-sq.-ft.
Most historic homes don't have the original furniture and items and they are either perfectly restored (and look like no one has ever lived there) or left in disrepair. This home was donated in the late 50's with everything in the house included (clothes, furniture, dishes, etc.). It was left the way it was lived in. That way it's not fully restored but was in livable shape. Unfortunately a recent leak in the roof means that some repair is necessary, but I hope they continue to maintain the lived in look. It's not really a true tour. It's a short 5-10 minute overview and then you are left to discover the rest of the house at your own pace. Plan on 30-40 minutes.
Michael M — Google review
I rated it one star not because of the tour or the house, but the experience of trying to go on a tour. We were in town a few days and planned to visit this house one morning. I love historic buildings and history so I was excited. We tried buying tickets and booking online, but there was not a place to actually book tours. We looked at a few different days but none of them had a way to pay for tickets, although the website shows they were open. Once at the mansion, we were greeted by a piece of paper taped near the door that there were only hosting the 2pm tour. I understand that things happen, but frankly, the website should have stated something about them cancelling all but 1 tour. I would have been fine if there was a banner on the website that said tour could be cancelled or something. There was no indication that the mansion may not be open during posted business hours. We ended up missing it because we had other things planned for that afternoon and no faith the tour would be available other days.
Thingsinowknow — Google review
I had such an amazing experience here, the woman working was such a sweet lady who told us soo many interesting facts about the house. Honestly the tour would not have been the same without her. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. I definitely recommend visiting here if you enjoy old homes or history of oklahoma.
Kauai C — Google review
Although they were in the process of restoration after a large roof leak, there was still plenty to see. I arrived just after opening, so I was treated to a kind and enthusiastic attendant who gave me a lot of great introductory details. In October, they are hosting a multi home tour in the neighborhood which also has many large historical old homes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Henry & Anna Overholser Mansion – Oklahoma City We had a great time visiting the Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion! The place has such a nostalgic and historical feel — walking through it really takes you back in time. The mansion itself is beautiful, and you can tell how well they’ve preserved it. The only downside was that we weren’t able to go upstairs. We paid $25 per adult for the full experience, but the upper level was blocked off. The tour guide explained it was for safety reasons since they didn’t want too many people on the staircase at once, which I understand — but based on the crowd size that day, I think it would’ve been fine. It just felt like we missed out on part of the experience. The kitchen was my favorite area — really cool to see how things were set up back then. I even used the old telephone to call my own phone just for fun! 😂 Everything was roped off, so we couldn’t get up close or enter the dining and lounging areas, but overall it was still a cool experience. I love history, so I appreciated the chance to step into such an important piece of Oklahoma City’s past. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy historic homes and local heritage.
Malik H — Google review
One of the best preserved museums I’ve ever been into. It’s like stepping into the past, and everything down to the China and the carpet is original to the house. Really interesting, and awesome house. You need to check this out.

Such a beautiful rare historic jem with all the original furnishings from 1903 that have never left the home. The hand painted walls and ceilings are absolutely breath taking. It is a must see for sure!

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art showcases a wide range of art, from American pieces dating back to the colonial era to European paintings and contemporary exhibitions. In 2020, the museum began offering free admission for children and teenagers aged 17 and younger, making it more accessible for families. Visitors can explore various exhibits such as 'Chihuly Then and Now: The Collection at Twenty,' 'The Perfect Shot,' featuring sports photography, and recently acquired works by local artist Ed Ruscha.
Wow! We had an amazing visit! Took us about 2.5 hours to go through the exhibits, reading almost every plaque. We love Chihuly, and we saved that for last! I really loved how all the exhibits were grouped and had a written rationale for organization. Even with multiple events downtown, we were able to find a spot nearby (and it was a free spot on Sundays).
Abby B — Google review
Lots of available parking, but you have to pay. It was a little confusing for us to figure out where the entrance was. We mistakenly went in first to the store. Then the theater. We finally figured out the correct entrance. The exhibits were wonderful. There are three stories, an exhibit on each. Nice layout, well lit.
Angela G — Google review
We had a fantastic time at the museum. We went to the special exhibit they had for Ansel Adams, and I didn't expect the exhibit to be as large as it was. They have a variety of his photos spanning the length of his life as well as photos other took of Ansel. We also stopped by the permanent Chihuly exhibit, and they have several pieces I've never seen before. It's a fantastic selection, and we hope to come back again

This review pertains to the OKC Museum of Art Movie Theater and its screening of the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival. The museum itself is a beautiful facility, and I’m glad we have it in OKC. Unfortunately, the movie theater leaves much to be desired. While it does feature stadium seating, the seats are small, uncomfortably low to the ground, and not at all supportive. The screen is undersized, the sound system is weaker than what I have at home, and the projection quality looked more like a washed-out 1980s big-screen TV than a modern cinema. On top of that, there are no concessions—no popcorn, candy, or soft drinks—to make the experience more enjoyable. As for the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival itself, it was deeply disappointing. Each short film seemed worse than the last, with one even crossing into shock value by depicting disturbing cruelty between insects. If this is truly considered the “best” of upcoming filmmakers, it only highlights how far standards have fallen.
Bob P — Google review
The Chihuly exhibit is amazing! The rest of the museum covers a lot of ground, stylistically, from old masters to modern art. Totally worth a visit!

Took a quick trip from Tulsa to OKC to see the Jeff Buckley documentary at the OKC Museum of Art. Arrived early and walked around the museum, and we were really impressed. We were thrilled to see the Ansel Adams exhibit and the Chihuly pieces. Every employee of the museum that we encountered was very helpful. Josh, in particular, took time to give us the back story on several pieces. He really added to our experience.

Lovely museum with an extensive Chihuly exhibit that is truly breathtaking. The Ansel Adams exhibit and their modern abstract wing were both fantastic as well. Really a must see when visiting OKC!

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the history of the American West. The museum showcases dioramas, artifacts, and art that document and interpret the rich heritage of cowboy culture. Settled by pioneers during the 1889 Land Run, Oklahoma City has deep roots in cowboy country and is home to former cattle trails, ranches, and birthplace of numerous Western film stars and entertainers.
We went here as part of our Route 66 trip. Absolutely would recommend this. Amazing displays of everything cowboy! All done to a really high standard too. You could spend a couple of days here and still not see everything.

My soon to be 13 yrs old just said if this was the first museum he went to on this trip it would have been great. Hubby and I were impressed, we loved the art work. Once again beautiful pieces that look like photographs and not paintings. The staff was kind and knowledgeable as well. Super clean and beautiful I wish the price was a bit less for teens and families at all adds up.

We visited the Cowboy Museum. It was okay and worth the visit if you are interested in cowboy history. The Museum Grill is the museum’s restaurant ((but not really a “grill). We ordered the chef salad, flavorful tortilla soup, and gigantic southwest chicken wrap. All were very good! The museum also has a nice gift shop.

I hadn't visited in about 30 years and was more than impressed with the improvements over the years. Incredible collections, paintings and sculptures are just the icing on the cake. So much to see and learn about western heritage and culture. This is a must-see in OKC!

My husband and I had such a great time visiting the Oklahoma National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautifully everything was displayed. We really enjoyed seeing all the incredible artwork — the paintings truly captured the spirit and history of the West. The museum also had a fascinating collection of saddles, guns, clothing, and other historical pieces. Every room told a story, and it was both educational and fun to explore. You can really tell how much thought and care went into curating everything. It was a great experience overall, and we’re so glad we made time to visit. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for something both cultural and memorable!

Beautiful place, they have a really nice gift shop, lovely art, wonderful historical artifacts. There's so much to explore, be prepared to spend a lot of time here. I'd gladly come back again, I need more time to enjoy all of the exhibits. My little daughter had a lot of fun too watching photos, videos and playing at the playground outside.

This is a wonderful collection of Western history and art presented in a beautiful setting. The museum is full of amazing art and the displays tell the story of both the Native American people and the cowboys and settlers. The Oklahoma History Center is a remarkable destination that offers an engaging journey through the diverse history of the Sooner State. Nestled conveniently across from the Oklahoma State Capitol, this expansive 18-acre facility boasts a stunning facade and houses five galleries filled with captivating exhibits. Visitors can delve into various topics, including Native American heritage, oil industry developments, and artistic expressions that reflect the state's vibrant culture.
Such a great museum full of interesting history! Perfect for all age groups, honestly. We were very happy at the amount of “hands on history” displays where the kids could interact and bring the lesson to life. Admission was very affordable, even having a family admission rate! We spent about 4 hours here and could’ve stayed longer if we read all the information in each exhibit. Even on a Friday, there were not very many people crowding the place, and the free parking lot is expansive and easily located.

What a great museum. Simply a gem. 4 large galleries of history from the great state of Oklahoma. Wonderful exhibits that were extremely interesting and informative! A must do if in OKC!

The layout and design of the exhibits in this history museum are thoughtfully crafted. There are a total of four main exhibition halls. One of them focuses on the Native American tribes of Oklahoma. Other topics include military history, business and entrepreneurial history, and culture, etc. If you often travel around the OK state and have heard about its historical figures or visited some historical landmarks, you’ll find their stories here.

Beautiful museum. It was nice to see the exhibits and take my time walking through. My favorite was the plane in the lobby. I loved seeing the capital in the background. It was a new refresh on a hot day. I’m interested to find out what are you researching there and what happens in that space.

Came in with my sister for the 1st time recently and there were maybe 1 or 2 other people looking around. Was quite pleasant. Went during the weekday. Free parking. The military is free with ID. Otherwise wasn't expensive to walk around, took us about 2 hours to walk through. Very cool History Museum! Loved the pink kitchen. Lots to see so take your time!

This was a fantastic place to spend an afternoon. At first I didn't think it was very big, then I found there were a lot more exhibits on the upper level. The lady at the check in desk was very nice and helpful.

The Oklahoma History Center has several exhibits showcasing everything from the state's economic history, Native American culture, to its contributions to space exploration. Takes roughly 2-3 hours to see all four main exhibits but it well worth the time if you're interested in Oklahoma history

Overall, it was a nice experience especially the exhibits related to relevant brands such as Sonic and Jimmy's Egg. There's the outdoor portion too which was pretty neat. Too bad one of the exhibits was under construction, but I've enjoyed it regardless.

The Oklahoma City Zoo is a sprawling 119-acre attraction that houses over 1,900 animals from various habitats. Visitors can enjoy up-close encounters with creatures like sea lions, rhinos, and brown bears on behind-the-scenes tours. For those seeking less intimidating interactions, there are interactive habitats such as the Flamingo Mingle and the Herpetarium Wetlands Walkway.
It had just finished raining so the air was cool and the animals were out. Super stunning baby giraffes stopped me for a while. I also got to see the newest baby elephant. I loved watching the other elephants live and protect the baby. Super cutie. What a nice, relaxing day. It couldn’t not have been better.
Heather D — Google review
Been bringing the kiddo here since he was very little. Summer tradition for us for sure. This zoo has improved tremendously throughout the years in a positive direction. The bathrooms could be cleaners and the supplies could be stocked more frequently and more misters. But other than that the facility is clean, the animals seem healthy and tended to. And the facility seems full of animals. Pricing is affordable as well if you do a daily entry or a seasonal pass. The food prices could be a little better and maybe more carts for waters, etc. But other than that this zoo is a fun thing to do with the family.

Such a fun day! The zoo is super clean, easy to get around, and full of amazing animals. My favorite part was watching the elephants play, and the flamingos were so pretty! It’s a great spot for kids and families — and honestly, it was just as enjoyable for us adults too. A perfect way to spend a few hours.

Large Zoo with alot to see and do. We didn't get there until 12pm and stayed until just about closing time and I feel like we had to really rush to see everything. I'd recommend getting there earlier than we did 😂😂 Ate at the Canopy Cafe. Food is pricey, but portions were large and delicious. My daughter really enjoyed the Emus, fish, goats and Flamingos. It's is a very hilly zoo as well, so be prepared for a bunch of uphill walking if you don't plan your route beforehand ( we didn't 😂😂). Thanks for a great day OKC Zoo! 😊😊

Took the kids on a day trip to the zoo. We had a great time seeing all of the animals, riding the merry go round. The food prices are a bit much but the overall experience was positive. Clean and lots to do!

We had such a great time at the Oklahoma City Zoo! Our group included seven adults, a 3-year-old, and an 11-month-old—and we were all able to get in for just $150. Such a great value for a full day of fun, especially with our extended family joining us. The zoo itself is beautiful, clean, and impressively large—we didn’t even make it through the whole thing before it was time for nap time! We especially appreciated the interactive stations set up throughout the park, where friendly zoo staff shared info about the animals and let us touch things like a real zebra pelt. It was a great way to keep everyone, kids and adults alike, engaged and learning. The variety of animals was wonderful, and we were happy to see the animals in large, thoughtfully designed enclosures. My son was completely captivated by an ostrich that followed us along the fence—definitely his favorite moment of the day! I personally loved watching the red pandas—they were so fun to see up close. While we didn’t eat lunch at the zoo, we saw plenty of people enjoying generous portions, and I have to say—the chicken tenders looked surprisingly good (and I don't usually say that about zoo food!). We also noticed a few spots offering adult beverages throughout the park, which was a nice bonus for a relaxing stroll. There were also plenty of fun photo opportunities scattered around the zoo, which made for great memories and some adorable family pics. All in all, we had a fantastic visit and would definitely recommend the OKC Zoo to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure!
Shady H — Google review
My husband and I visited the Oklahoma Zoo today and were pretty disappointed with the experience. There was very little shade throughout the zoo, which made it tough to enjoy in the summer heat. While there were a few areas with fans and water misters, it just wasn’t enough to stay cool and comfortable. Most of the animals were not visible in their enclosures — and we noticed that some exhibits stated they were shared with other animals. This means you might miss specific animals you’re hoping to see, depending on where they are or if they’re out at all. The design of the viewing areas also wasn’t ideal. Many enclosures, especially for the big cats, had poor sight lines. Even if the animals were present, they could easily stay out of view behind hills or tucked-away spots, making it almost impossible to see them from any angle. When we looked for food, the area we found mostly had spicy options and overpriced chicken tenders. Several other food locations were closed altogether, which limited the choices even more — not great during a long, hot walk through the zoo. The zoo definitely has potential, but our visit felt more tiring than fun. Hopefully, some improvements are made in the future to help guests have a better overall experience.

The OKC zoo is well laid out with several baby animals. I wandered for almost 4 hours and still didn’t see all the exhibits. The workers were knowledgeable and present in several areas, talking about the animals. The pizza was amazing!!!

Science Museum Oklahoma is a top science museum in the state and one of the largest in the USA. It features interactive exhibits where visitors can engage with various activities, including playing instruments, exploring engineering and technology, and learning about aviation history. The museum also houses a planetarium and the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, showcasing memorabilia from legendary gymnasts. With 8 acres of space dedicated to STEM-based attractions, it offers an educational experience for all ages.
My kids (8&11) loved it here! It was an adventure and tons to see and do! I loved how they let me run back out to my car to grab our picnic lunches and let us eat them inside where it was so much cooler. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often!
Brian-Amanda B — Google review
Visited this museum TWICE while in town for a week because it was that much fun. My kids ages 4 and 7 loved every nook of this place. The museum is huge and while packed with activities feels very spacious, open and clean. There are exhibits for all age ranges and I think kids and adults can be engaged for hours just the same. We all enjoyed every aspect of it. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped for children to independently use them including low sinks, soap and towels. We loved the mirror maze, sensory nook, tinker room, and the live science shows (we saw two). I’d like to mention 2 cons: - the food offered at the restaurant is not good quality nor there are healthy options. The cafeteria just doesn’t makes sense with such a great facility. Wish they offered healthy, fresh cooked food. My kids ate pizza and a pretzel and both were packaged/frozen, warmed up low quality food. But they do have Starbucks coffee and I enjoyed that. - the garden has so much potential to be a great place as well but seemed a bit neglected. There are a couple of things you would do there but a playground or more science outside would’ve been great. The picnic tables were also dirty and a bit neglected. Overall a very good experience and I recommend it for a full day of fun. Pack your own lunch and snacks and you are all set! Worth the ticket price 100%.

We stayed longer than we thought we would! Lots of fun hands-on activities and plenty for the dads in the group! The planetarium was a fun experience for the kids, the segue ride was hilarious, and the Olympic section was a great experience. The tornado machine was hit and miss. Our favorite exhibits: the music room and the mini-photography showcase.

I went for a toddler birthday party & there were so many interesting fun things for the children to explore. A few hours wasn’t enough time to nearly get through everything there is to do with a break for lunch & birthday cake. I do remember visiting here when I was in middle school, so glad it’s still around.
Crystal M — Google review
That is a wonderful place to have a incredible time with your family and friends. I think it is beyond an ordinary museum. It has been allowed to use and experience lots of experiments. For the children looks like a kinda playground but the difference between normal playground and the museum is to learn while having fun.
Gokhan T — Google review
We celebrated my kids’ birthday here recently and it was completely worth it. The staff drew pictures on the wall that gave them so much glee. We added in the ice cream package and Roman did a fantastic job getting the kids involved. All the families had so much fun checking out the museum as most parents hadn’t been since they were kids. We have a membership that we will definitely be keeping up with and will be visiting frequently.

i took my kids to the "Discover Fest" and the had a blast, i highly recomend it, they do it every year and IT IS FREE! they always have so many interesting things and shows. I think the only kind of "not good" thing was that they were selling water bottles in $3.50 and sodas in $2.00 which i think is not really good for kids being dirsty and trying to save their money they finished picking up a soda.

The Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma City is a unique and educational destination featuring over 300 skeletons from various species. Unlike traditional art museums, this museum offers an intriguing collection of skulls and skeletons, ranging from small field mice to massive humpback whales. Visitors can explore the biology of diverse creatures while also learning about Oklahoma's wildlife. The museum provides hands-on displays, blending entertainment with education.
Wow, what an organized collection! This museum was a bit out of the way, but totally worth the stop 100%! My kids (8 & 11) were fascinated by all the bones and the displays were clear and beautifully done. I loved how you could get a glimpse of the animal's habitat. If I lived nearby, I would go often.

We attended Forensics night at the Museum of Osteology, and it was probably one of the most exciting things I've ever done. By the end of the night, we'd determined all the pertinent information about IDing our victim, how they died, and their age. I would 1000% do this again. The attention to detail, teaching, and explaining what to do were all top notch. We legitimately cannot wait to go back.

The best museum I’ve ever been to. I have 3 boys and they absolutely lived the time we spent there. The owl pellet class was awesome and the person that led the class was amazing. He answered all our questions and was so informative. The collection is insane. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see everything because the kiddos pulled me around. I will probably make a trip back out just for the grownups. Gift shop was great.

Very cool bone museum! It was clean, busy, and the worker's were well informed and smiley. Loved the scavenger hunt and crossword that goes along with the plentiful information surrounding every display. 2 floors & theres an elevator if you need. Went on a friday morning, was busy but still really fun and cool experience took my 4 year old and my 2 month old. Inside stayed really nice and cooled off which i appreciated so much haha. All thier exhibits were breath taking and intriguing. They had lots of bones and things the kiddos could touch, feel and experience along with so many cool facts about the human body and animals. We got to enjoy a amazing family day learning about the circle of life and the beauty and knowledge it brings. The staff were very informative, friendly and they honestly seem to love thier jobs which always makes for a better experience. The gift shop was pretty epic as well of i couldve spent my whole wallet there i wouldve 🤣 but my kiddo chose out a glow in the dark spider some insect candy and we chose out some collectors insects to being home for ourselves. It was very reasonably priced too. Definitely go whether its hot or cold outside its a museum you can really enjoy at any age

Such a cute little museum! We’re from out of state and decided to make a stop here, and I’m so glad we did. I was so excited to see a bull terrier skull (I own one myself! And there such funny looking dogs), which was such a fun surprise. My 3-year-old and I had a great time exploring. We spent about an hour and really enjoyed it. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. I also really appreciate the thoughtful touches — free tampons and pads in the restroom and a baby changing table. It’s the small details like that that make a big difference. Definitely worth the visit!

Harn Homestead is a historical site in Oklahoma City that offers a glimpse into the state's territorial history. The property features a 1904 Victorian home, a one-room schoolhouse, and a museum. This elegant establishment showcases life before Oklahoma achieved statehood. The Harn family, who moved from Ohio to assist President Benjamin Harrison during the Land Run era, resided in the original 1904 home.
We held our daughters wedding here on December 15th. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We were so please and would do another event here 100%!! The people we worked with from the venue were nothing short of spectacular. They were kind and informative. They responded to my every (many!!!) question in a very timely manner. We cannot wait to get all the actual pics back, but I'm putting just a few that were on my phone! This place is amazing, if you are needing somewhere pretty with wonderful liasons to help you with all your questions come here!!

This place is absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding here after coming to tour/visit a few months previous. We came back for engagement pics and to tour it a couple more times before the wedding (even after hours). Kelly is wonderful to work with and so accommodating. Wedding options to fit any budget as well as amenities included (tables, chairs, arch...). Plenty of options to get married on grounds and for reception spot. We chose the barn for the reception. Merica was the lady the day of our wedding and she was super friendly and patient as we picked up and put things back in place. Highly recommend the venue for wedding/celebration and when they are open to visit for their many public times to visit though out the year. Located smack dab down town it's truly amazing how they have kept this preserved throughout the 100+ year history on this 10 acres!!

I absolutely love Harn Homestead! The first time we met Kelly she worked around our schedules to give us a tour of the homestead. She explained everything we needed to know and even gave us recommendations as we began planning our wedding. We were able to take our engagement pictures on site with no extra cost. Kelly and her team were very flexible on letting us schedule a time do come out and do them. There are so many great places to take photos. The day before our wedding we threw them a curve ball last minute and added an extra hour and they were so accommodating and understanding. Then came our wedding day on 9/24/23. Kelly and her team had great communication and they were a huge help the day of. Merica was on sight with us and provided great customer service, helped direct people as well as vendors on where to go, and kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and a staff of amazing women to help. The price was outstanding and the customer service was incredible throughout the entire process. We are so pleased and couldn’t have picked a better place to do our wedding! I highly recommend Harn Homestead and their incredible staff! -September 2023 Bride ❤️

Very lovely place to step back into time! I remember coming here as a child on a field trip and now as an adult with my homeschooled children. Very friendly staff. Knowledgeable on their history of the Harn family and the plantation. Recommend this for anyone. (Involves a lot of walking.)

We showed up at an off time on a whim while driving by. We were able to walk the grounds and look around. We weren't able to take one of the normal tours but the signage around the grounds were quite helpful. There is a nice collection of buildings from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Is you're in the area it is worth checking out. I'm sure the knowledge you'd get from the tour would only entrance the experience.

Expert guides share insights into the history of the district, making it a unique way to learn more about landmarks, murals, and monuments in the area.
Very interesting canal ride though Bricktown. Our pilot, Robert, was very well versed about the history of Bricktown and Oklahoma City. He pointed out all that has been created over the last 30 years that has helped make OKC a destination. He had some good corny jokes which made the ride more enjoyable. Well worth both the price and the time.

We had such a great time on the Bricktown Water Taxi! Our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. He really knew how to get the whole boat involved and made the ride feel lively and welcoming. The tour itself was such a neat experience—cruising along the canal through the heart of Bricktown, hearing about Oklahoma City’s history, landmarks, and fun local stories along the way. It was the perfect mix of learning and laughter. You get to see the murals, restaurants, shops, and even some hidden gems from a whole new perspective. It’s definitely a must-do in OKC whether you’re visiting or local. Fun, relaxing, and a great way to take in the city’s atmosphere!
Kelly R — Google review
Feels more like a floating commercial than a cultural tour. While the guide shares a few interesting facts about Oklahoma City’s history, most of the ride is spent pointing out chain restaurants and hotels like Starbucks and the Residence Inn. You can’t even see many of the actual monuments or landmarks from the boat. Walking the canal would probably give you a better view and a more meaningful experience.

What a super-fun, touristy thing to do! Our boat captain, DJ, was wonderful, with interesting facts about our excursion, which he presented with humor! We definitely learned some things while having a great time!

A must-do activity when visiting Oklahoma City. The tour was not only fun, but also informative. I learned about the history of the state, downtown, and revitalization projects in Bricktown. They have some interesting artwork, pretty landscaping, ducks, and plenty of great restaurants to learn about along the way. Our boat driver and tour guide, Heather, was very friendly and funny. The tour is about 45 minutes, and fortunately our boat wasn’t so full to be crowded. The tour is appropriate for all ages (but if you have little kids who cannot sit still or be quiet long, it might not be for you since it’s close quarters and others need to hear the driver speaking). Get tickets in advance because it appeared some tours were full / sold out. Way to go OKC for building this super cool river feature through the Bricktown area and having a water taxi tour for people to enjoy!

Nestled in the heart of Oklahoma City, the First National Center stands as a stunning testament to art deco architecture. Originally built in 1931 as the First National Bank, this iconic structure has been beautifully restored and now serves as a vibrant hub featuring The National Hotel along with an array of dining options. Visitors can marvel at its historical charm, particularly in The Great Hall where murals narrate Oklahoma's rich history alongside preserved bank teller windows.
Wow! Just wow! What a stunning site to see! My kiddo and I were taking a stroll of the city and the valet guys told us we should come in to see the inside! Super nice people here! They even let us take photos with my film camera and gave us a little tour! So beautiful!

Beautiful place, wonderful job in the remodel. Valet is a must! Feels very high end. Did think the room had a bit of a “flip” feel. We had floor tiles popping up, tile grout was coming out, paint lines were rough and the outlets have this weird one side up other side down to be smaller but you can’t use both at the same time because nothing fit. Just some weird stuff like that. But if that doesn’t bother you then this is a great place to visit! Bar and restaurant were great with reasonable prices and great service.

A neoclassical architectural masterpiece in downtown OKC! The First National Center has been a prominent part of the Oklahoma City skyline since 1931, and features extensive uses of marble, aluminum, and granite. Think of it as OKC’s Empire State Building. (Even in resemblance!) The bank it was built for was a victim of the oil bust and is no longer with us, but today the building houses several amazing restaurants, a retail shopping center, and the old vault downstairs now houses a bar. The building also houses apartments and a hotel, plus venues for business meetings, events, and even weddings!

Home to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oklahoma City Ballet, it also presents annual series by nationally acclaimed artists.
Went here for the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Chapter 2 (we got mocktails instead since we don’t drink)!! It was such a beautiful and grand music hall!

Went to see the musical Oklahoma there and it was fantastic. A wonderful theater with friendly staff members and all the necessary amenities. Every show I have seen there has been great. Plus, the limited food entrees are really good, too. We went there an hour before curtain to eat and we both enjoyed our meals and made new friends. A very classical, theatrical venue for OKC! Go!

We had a great time. No matter where your seats are, the audio is beautiful. They have braille programs available for the visually impaired. Make sure you give yourself time to get seated, and be mindful of performers. (Please stop clapping after every song-while very sweet, it holds up production)

My girlfriends and I had an amazing time seeing Twilight live in concert. The Music Hall was the absolute perfect venue for it. It is a stunning, grand building, and the architecture really adds to the event experience. Crucially, all the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

I recently attended the Jersey Boys musical at the Civic Center, and it was an amazing experience! The performance itself was fantastic, capturing the energy and talent of the original Jersey Boys perfectly. My seat was perfect, offering plenty of legroom, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. The theater is clean, spacious, and comfortable, creating an ideal environment to enjoy a show. The sound and lighting were top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. If you're looking for a great place to catch a show, the Civic Center is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend for an unforgettable theater experience!

I spent my teenage years with friends and everyone from different high-school, Great time.. To this day it's my favorite place to sit and be, think or watching people. Great place to find yourself alone or with friends. Whatever you need, overholser will be there.

Was in town working and found this place because I wanted to get some fishing in. Looked like it is a good place to fish when the water is up but the water was so low, looked like a dirt road where the water used to be. Would like to try it when and if the water level gets to normal.

It's a quiet lake with not a lot of traffic and not a lot of places to park and access the lake, but it does have scenic views looking west to east from Route 66 Park.

Beautiful lake, bridge & dam, recommend just before sunset. The walk across the bridge/dam is beautiful but very windy, make sure to wear a thick jacket. In order to see the sunset, you have to start walking from the east side. There's a walkway where you can use to access the bottom portion of the dam. After you reached the west side of the bridge, there are some picnic tables you can use for a little while until the light goes away. This is 3 miles from the outlets so you can do some shopping right after leaving here.

Tiger Safari Zoological Park, located in Tuttle, Oklahoma, is a 45-acre habitat for a variety of wildlife including tigers, bears, lemurs, lions, leopards and other African wildcats. The non-profit organization not only provides a home for these majestic creatures but also offers interactive encounters and educational tours to teach visitors about the importance of caring for them. The park features sunset safaris and interactive games suitable for all ages.
It was the hottest day of the year and it was still worth it. We went on the early morning, mega-VIP tour. It included a guided tour and feeding opportunity, a “free time” wander, and an indoor encounter. They had donuts, coffee, juice, and other pastries for us when we arrived. We saw or fed every single thing the website said we would. It was a small group so everyone got a turn at everything. They gave us plenty of food/treats for feeding during the tour and after when we had our free time to wander. Emily was very knowledgeable about every animal we encountered and offered facts about the animals and included personality quirks. Emily also explained which animals weren’t people friendly and couldn’t be safely handled by the public. There was only one animal we didn’t see and she warned us about that- panther wasn’t interested in coming out when it was already 90+ by 8:00am- can’t blame it. For the indoor animal petting portion, they had several handlers with different animals so we didn’t really need to wait to pet or hold anything. We liked that they directed people on how to touch each animal to ensure the animals were safe. I was skeptical because I read about the location ahead of time, including every negative review. And like everyone else, I watched the infamous Netflix show about that other guy. There were some things I didn’t like, such as the big cats not having play water or the hyena not having a companion, but they had water to drink and Emily did talk about them visiting the hyena throughout the day and that they are looking for a companion (I’m sure finding a hyena is not easy). We have left other encounters for seeing concerning treatment of animals, and we didn’t see anything like that. We recommend going.

The vip is worth getting. They bring out some animals to show and tell, and some you can hold, and others just touch. The staff is wonderful, answering questions with ease. Everyone is really nice. The place is big so be prepared to walk you see many types of creatures. Some of the places lion very run down, but I'm guessing those places are more for summertime use. Beside that awsome place for kids to enjoy a nice day and learn some new things about animals they didn't know.

Entire experience started out a little rough as our reservation wasn’t in their system (we called to make the reservation), but we had paid in advance to stay in a cabin on property - staff seemed super surprised about our arrival and was not super stoked, which makes sense! Aside from this initial interaction, the whole place was incredible. We went on a weekday and were the ONLY people in the entire park! Which sounds crazy, but we went in their off season when folks were working or at school. It was actually really cool to experience it that way without a bunch of people crowding you! We could take our time with each animal and exhibit. We ended up getting a VIP Encounter with our reservation by staying on property, which entailed getting to meet at LEAST 10 different animals up close and personally. Our guide for this was Amy, who was so so so kind and friendly and answered all of our crazy questions. After this, we got to feed monkeys and kangaroos. What a cool experience!!!! Again, still the only people in the entire place. At this point it was dusk and more animals were out than when we initially walked through the park- all cats were very well fed and had enough room to move around in- their pens were HUGE! Loved seeing that and that they were well cared for. In terms of where we stayed, it was in one of the lodges at the back of the property where you’re next to the zebras! The place was so well worth the money with great amenities, very clean, and quiet (except for the animals you can hear at night which is so cool lol). 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back. If you’re thinking about making the trip here, DO IT! This place deserves your money and your time! Don’t skip it!

Very cool experience! Deff worth trying out! The tree house we stayed in, the bathroom was down two flights of stairs outside, with no air ventilation. The treehouse was also lacking A/C. The ONE window unit they have upstairs only blows hot air. So bring a fan!!!! Emily was part of the park staff and she was by far the most laid back and educational person we met there! We really enjoyed her company! Waking up the sound of a lions roar, was terrifying yet peaceful at the same time!!!! Check it out! It’s an experience you’ll never forget. 🐅🦁🐒

Grandkids school trip from Shawnee. I expected 3 tigers and 10,000 screaming kids and once the crowd was gone.. or more like... I left the crowd and decided to go walk about while they got educated.... it was pretty awesome. I know 1st hand what it's like keeping up buildings, pens, ground, ponds bridges, animals for public display etc.. Great folks, and learning my" brother" firefighter runs the place was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully I'll return on a less stressful day. Some parents need a kick in the groin... letting thier kids bang on the glass agitating the tiger who was trying to eat them through the acrylic panel. After I thought this is how these places make the world news... the grandpa in me yelled at all of them.. including the parents laughing taking the videos. Otherwise... great time and surprising place.

The Arcadia Round Barn, a striking red structure built in 1898, is a must-see historic landmark located along Route 66. Its unique round design makes it an ideal spot for memorable photos. Beyond its distinctive architecture, the barn houses a museum featuring exhibits and historical information about Arcadia and its significance to the development of Route 66 and Oklahoma.
Throwback to 1898 on Route 66 — Arcadia, Oklahoma We made a quick stop at the historic Arcadia Round Barn, and it was absolutely worth it. If you're the type who loves to dive into every artifact and display, you could easily spend hours here. But even if you just read the highlights and chat with the volunteers, it's a great 20-minute stop. The barn is beautifully maintained and easy to find, with convenient parking around back. The ground floor feels like a mix between a cozy museum and a vintage shop — I even spotted some rose rocks for sale, which was a fun local touch! The volunteers were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with them — they clearly love what they do. Outside, the grounds are tidy and feature old farming equipment on display. You can also climb 15 steps to the upper loft area, which is available for rent and sometimes hosts live music events. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Entry is free, but donations are definitely appreciated — well deserved — and very much needed. PROS: ✅ Great roadside stop on Route 66 ✅ Easy to find with back parking ✅ Free entry ✅ Friendly, knowledgeable volunteers ✅ Clean and well maintained ✅ Rich in history and unique charm ✅ Cool loft space available for events ✅️ No wait for entry CONS: ❌ None!

An amazing, old craftsmanship made, round barn, on historic route 66 that you can visit. The upper floor and ceiling is awesome. The lower floor has more history and photos too. Be sure to visit both. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A fun stop along the route that you shouldn't miss.

This is so cool. The ground floor is like a mix of a goodwill shop and museum. Look at the ceiling to see how the barn was constructed. The real thing to see is the upstairs space. It’s a large space and cool frame construction.

I enjoyed the history and how well it has been kept up. Not many locations like this that are open to the public. If you have your passport book you can get it stamped. Friendly volunteers to answer questions. Also can't beat the price...give a donation.

This is a historic attraction along Route 66 in Arcadia. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free and you will find a decent size carpark in the back, just exit 66 a block or two over and make way to the back. There are public toilets available as well. The Barn was originally built in 1898. After decades of neglect, it was fully restored with a reconstructed roof in 1992 and is kept in good condition today. You can visit the upstairs where you will see the wooden deck space for fairly large scale events. It is worth a quick look-see. What is most interesting is the ground floor which is setup like a small museum with historical information about the Round Barn, the early days of Arcadia, Route 66 traveller business that the early 20th-century and related points of interest. There are time period artefacts on display that are nice to see as well as a gift shop area which is manned by volunteers. I really enjoyed my 20 minute stop and visit of the Arcadia Round Barn recently. They are doing really good job breathing and keeping alive this interesting bit of early Oklahoma and Midwest history here.

Located in Bricktown, the American Banjo Museum is a 21,000-square-foot facility that showcases the rich history of America's five-stringed cultural icon. With over 400 instruments, recordings, and unique memorabilia on display, visitors can explore the evolution of the banjo from its origins as a slave-crafted instrument to its influence on Bluegrass and folk music.
As you might imagine, with such a fantastic collection of banjos, this is a must for banjo enthusiasts, but I think it's more than that. It's a must for anyone visiting OKC as viewing history through this art form is fun and enlightening. The museum also has banjos you can play (plus lessons), a cool gift shop, and a classically adorned hall of sorts where they have performances.

Had a great time here! Loved learning about the unique history of the banjo and its ties throughout American musical history. We visited because we saw Kermit and his banjo from "The Muppet Movie" were on exhibit. So glad we came and I will definitely be recommending this museum to everyone! Incredible collection, very good upkeeping, and you can tell they truly care about the history and cultural significance of the banjo.
Kat W — Google review
A beautiful collection of a caliber of artistic banjos that I never knew existed. A fun history with videos accompanies. However, the museum felt a need to inject political propaganga with one movie stating that playing the banjo in the US was (and I quote) "black appropriation." So ... why is it I've never heard that when African Americans play historically white -played instruments that it is white appropriation? Stop it already. Just stop. No copyright on who can master an instrument for ALL OF US to enjoy.

The only Banjo Museun in the world. The first Wednesday of the month, they host a brown bag lunch. If you pick up lunch and bring it to the Museum they let you in for free. There is also free show. After the hour long kid friendly show you welcome to explore the museum (also for free). My wife and I really had a good time. Normally admission is $8 per person. They do offer senior and military discounts.

Lots of bueatiful banjos. Emphasis on 4 string banjoes. A few early African American banjoes. Not much on AppLachian, oldtime banjo. Mentiones different styles of playing, but no explanation of them. They have a room set up like a Shakies Pizza restaurant. They have instruments you can play. Well worth a visit.

Such a cool little museum jam packed with, you guessed it! Banjos galore! The museum itself was so nice and really well done. We had a blast and I highly recommend if you're in the area. Takes a good hour and a half to look at everything and make sure to play one of the banjos on your way out!

It's said, "To learn the history of the banjo is to recover the actual history of America." That could not be more apparent to me than ever. The museum is informative and expertly showcases the evolution of the banjo across various racial and musical cultures. Their collection of instruments is truly otherworldly! The curator took to heart that a banjo will get you through times of no money because the ticket is a steal of a deal, and it's a hidden gem combined into one! Please take a bow!

We went there on a Friday and we were the only visitors at the time. It is free to walk around, take pics, and go inside some of the cars. You have to buy a ticket to ride a train.

The Oklahoma Railway Museum was a fun and insightful experience. I have two teenaged boys that I wasn’t sure how they would react to visiting here but nearly as soon as we were out of the car they were all over the exhibits. There is something about trains that sparks curiosity in people of all ages, in turn igniting interest in those giant beast of a machine that will never fade. While here (Aug. 23, 2025) we only saw one staffer during our visit and while we didn’t directly interact with her, we did overhear a conversation between her and another visitor who really only had a question about a new feature that is soon to be offered and the staffer was very pleasant and accommodating and answered the question confidently. The museum isn’t packed with visitors so you’re able to take your time without feeling rushed or crowded out. It’s a living exhibit and it seems they are periodically able to add more pieces but those pieces have to be restored often time to a quality worthy of display so please consider donating something even if if admission is free to help keep this museum open for future visitors to enjoy.
Daryl S — Google review
I love what they’re trying to do but the train ride itself is really underwhelming, basically goes very slowly across two intersections and a golf course. There’s no bathroom on the train and of course my six year old had to go about five minutes in so was uncomfortable the whole time. Staff were very nice but unfortunately I don’t think we will be doing this one again.
Lauren D — Google review
Great place to visit! We had a blast making memories and great place for photos. The volunteers and workers that maintain the museum that have so much knowledge about each train. Met an elderly gentleman that spoke about how he use to maintenance one of the trains. Love that this place is still pushing to stay open, help support it! Admission to the Museum itself is free. Donations are not required, but they are welcomed. Please keep in mind the Museum is mainly outdoors, so prepare accordingly for the weather.

We went for the Polar Express ride as a surprise for my grandbaby's birthday. We had a ton of fun walking around "town," entering the depo and watching her (3 yr old) get caught up in the magic. The stewards/stewardess's were so friendly as well. It was something my inner child definitely needed and I'm so thankful that we were able to experience it as a family for our little one.
Tiffany B — Google review
My husband and I visited the museum in the first part of August and really enjoyed it. My husband is a railfan / train enthusiasts. First off, everyone was very friendly. If you had a question about anything, they would have an answer for you. I want to give a shout out to Jerry, Joe and Ann. Very patient and knowledgeable about equipment. The area was very clean and open. The HO scale train layout that is in one of the old coaches / baggage cars was very well laid out / positioned for the space and was operational.....plus it had a/c in that one. We were able to experience the inside of an old caboose and get in the top part where the conductors and brakeman would ride. We just want to say "Thank You"for preserving a piece of transportation history. Everyone should experience and learn how people use to travel back in the day. It is free to walk around but the excursion has a small cost.

The Skydance Bridge, located in Oklahoma City, is a must-see for visitors and locals alike. This 380-foot long pedestrian bridge was inspired by the sky dance of the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Oklahoma's state bird. It soars over Interstate 40 with its wings reaching 185 feet into the air. The bridge gracefully spans across Scissortail Park and offers stunning perspectives for photos during both day and night.
Always a beautiful view. So many different things to do out there. Basketball courts, tennis courts, a park. Walking the bridge is amazing you can see the whole city. Definitely a tourist attraction to see.

Saint Joseph's Old Cathedral, originally constructed in 1889, is a remarkable blend of history and spirituality. Despite undergoing renovations over the years, it retains its architectural charm and historical significance, being one of the first brick churches in Oklahoma City.
This church is BEAUTIFUL!! Absolutely loved it to pieces!! We got here via Lime scooters and there’s a parking spot on the side of the church (east side). The Mass was beautiful and it was the priests last day, so I guess he won’t be there anymore. His homily was excellent and the church is, again, beautiful!!!

Wonderful parish in a beautiful, historical building. It has historical side altars that are still in use which is rare. The inside has been renovated to look more like it did back in the 1920s. Though diocesan TLMs are no longer allowed, this parish has the most conservative Novus Ordo you'll find in the area. Ad orientem, chant, smells and bells, etc. Great parish for Catholics to visit if traveling in OKC. Has confession every day of the week like in the old days. Stop in for a confession & daily mass at lunch time. Has Adoration during confessions M-F and all day adoration after mass on Thursdays. There are two seminarians from this small parish. They are clearly doing something right. God is working through this parish. They also have a museum/gift shop which will be re-opening soon.

The cathedral’s history, especially its survival and restoration after the 1995 bombing, adds deep meaning to the visit. A must-see for anyone visiting OKC.

This is the Church where my mother and father were married... there is much maternal history in this beautiful sanctuary, and a sense of Peace and stillness which is a haven from the chaos of the world 🌎 in this moment ♥️

Traveling through Oklahoma City and found this great old cathedral with a lot of character. We had walked there from our hotel 6 blocks away to attend Saturday pm mass. As Mass was ending a thunderstorm came through making it dicey walking back. The local deacon heard our plight and immediately offered to drive us back to the hotel !! Talk about serving the people… very impressed.

After visiting the very moving OKC Memorial, and exiting at the 9.03 gate resembling the time after the bomb, it's logical to enter and visit this Catholic Church. It's a classic brick one, but with very nice stained glass inside. While visiting the Memorial, be sure and stop in to see this beautiful Church. The stained glass and stations of the cross are amazing. I also loved seeing the Saint Michael the Archangel statue. We attended Mass and the music was amazing! This is a beautiful old cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City with typically ornate decorations. The music is abundant and the pews are a lot more comfortable than you would expect from such and old church. Great experience.

Everyone tells you to call the local churches for help with bills if you are struggling to pay them and you call them and you deal with the most rudest receptionist and they just give you a fast no that's the reason why a lot of people don't go to church because you give to the churches and then they don't want to help you

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame, established in 1927, is a museum dedicated to honoring exceptional individuals from the state. Through its high-tech interactive displays and diverse programs such as scholarships, field trips, and family fun days with art activities, the organization aims to inspire pride and achievement. It also contributes to education by providing free programs in rural classrooms and distributing books to schools and libraries across Oklahoma.
Our wedding at the HOF was truly amazing! April was fantastic, she checked in with us frequently, and helped us coordinate all the details. We hosted our reception in the garden, and the pictures turned out amazing. It was beautiful! They provided all the ammedities we could need and more. They even have different add-ons to choose from, so you don't need to worry about as many rentals. I'd highly highly reccomend hosting your weddings at the HOF!

What a wonderful museum! We came for the Summer Thursday and my child had a wonderful time. The facility was clean, the staff were kind, and there was plenty of fun activities and exhibits to keep my son entertained. Additionally, the story-time, craft, and scavenger hunt offered were all engaging and enjoyable activities for my kiddo! Super fun and such a beautiful museum.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding than the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. The venue was absolutely stunning, providing the most beautiful, classic backdrop for our special day. The staff was incredibly accommodating, a pleasure to work with, and always available to answer questions, ensuring everything ran smoothly. From start to finish, everything was flawless. I highly recommend this beautiful location for any special occasion!

The fact that it was free for me and and my son to go at this time of our life was absolutely great. My son as we were just moving to Oklahoma not knowing much about Oklahoma or he doesn't. It was good for him to learn some stuff and it was and presented in a way that he found interest for most things not everything but most things. So I I would go back and maybe a year or two to see how things have changed and to see what interests him

This is such a great little free gem (free parking and admission - look on their website for a free admission ticket - I will also post it in the photos) in Oklahoma! The staff were super friendly and nice as well! Lots to read and some videos to watch as well! The art was also super cool!

This museum leaves a little bit to be desired if I’m being honest, I feel like maybe they could go a little more in depth or have a short biography about the locally (and some globally) famous characters that line the walls. There is one area/exhibit that expands upon a few of those more well known Oklahomans and gets a little interactive but as for the rest of the inductees, it’s mostly their name and portrait. I personally feel a little more background behind what led them to be chosen for the prestigious halls would greatly increase the interest for some people. In one room there was a print out that instructed you to surmise what was interesting or what made the subject famous by the context clues in the backgrounds of their portraits but that seems like something one would do more at an art museum than at a historical museum. As far as the children’s wing/exhibit (perfect for kids aged 2-10) they’ve done a fantastic job and even offered a story time the day we were there. They also have a great gift shop which almost completely hosts Oklahoma made products.

St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, established in 1904, stands as a historic gem listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1977. Remarkably, it served as a refuge for the community during that tragic event, providing essential support to rescue workers and those in need. Under the guidance of Dean Katie Churchwell, St.
Wonderful church community- so friendly and inclusive. The clergy and staff are so welcoming. The homilies are always filled with humor, scripture, and a further understanding of God's grace in our lives. We felt at home from the start.

This is by far the MOST welcoming church to which I've ever been. All are welcome here and I've truly been able to get closer to my faith with the liturgical teachings of Jesus provided here.

This church is right by the Oklahoma City federal bombing site and was affected. It has a deep Native American history. It has a deep Civil Rights and Human Rights history. It offers a variety of services as a rebirthed inner city congregation. And has sometimes been an emergency services site. They offer special live music concerts of world class music. This organ has a special history. The stained glass does too. They have a bookstore. And a couple of gardens which are downtown favorites. This is a historic building. And it's probably best to visit any day if the week really.

Wednesday we have morning Bible study as well as Lection Divina, contemplative Bible study, in the evenings as well as many outreach events for the underprivileged of our community.

Dean Katie Churchwell is an amazing priest, pastor and person. Several years ago, in response to a hurricane in Florida, she launched an initiative on Facebook called Pop Up Prayer. It continues to this day to be a vibrant and growing online community of people who gather for daily prayer and support. I am honored and blessed to be a part of this network of loving and caring souls. Dean Churchwell is insightful, caring, and gifted. Her resume speaks volumes to her education and experience. She is known for her passion for justice and walking along side those in need. From her advocacy for the diverse and beloved community of God, including children, those affected by gun violence, POC and others who are marginalized, to leading prayers on a walkabout thru the parish neighborhood, community programs that focus on health and wellness, or marching in PRIDE celebrations, Katie most assuredly walks the talk. She is simply the example of a life lived in service to the Beatitudes. I have personally experienced her pastoral care through the death of my wife. She was a brightly burning candle in an otherwise darkened corner of my heart. I will be forever grateful for her selfless service and Christlike compassion. Each night she ends her prayers with us by saying, "You are loved. You are so loved by God. No exceptions, no matter what." In a world that is aching for that kind of unconditional presence and acceptance, she is balm for the suffering and the calm within the storm. Katie you are so loved by God and by so many around the world. Blessings on this occasion of your installation as Dean of the St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City. You were made for such a time as this.

This is either a front for the command bunker that will generate Elon Musk's bid for the '28 Presidency or, for those far less imaginative, an abandoned, gold dome. Either way, listing it as tourist attraction seems a stretch. If the Thunder beat the Pacers, I'm skipping this and hitting that parade.

This botanical garden is absolutely stunning. The greenhouse had so many trees that I've never seen before. I've only used the medicinal oils from the such as ylang-ylang, cinnamon pocholie etc.. it's definitely worth visiting

This tropical conservatory is awesome. In a not too huge crystal tube they've managed to fit some ecosystems. You can find some orchids at the entrance, followed by a set of bromeliads and tillandsias. They even have a pineapple and some banana trees. Once you're inside, you instantly feel the warmth and the moist of a tropical environment. There's a main deck and some upper levels on both ends. On one side there are more desertic species. This conservatory is part of the Myriad Botanical Gardens. A larger space with a small lake with kois and ducks and some areas for performances and prom events. My only concern is they close al 17:00 (as everything in the area) and that the gift store doesn't have some extra 15 min left for souvenir picking. But that's just me, the place is awesome.

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was tragically destroyed by domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh in 1995. The well-designed and beautifully laid out outside memorial is free to visit, with helpful park rangers available to answer questions. Visitors can also explore the Memorial Museum nearby.

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was destroyed by domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh in 1995. This site is a memorial to those killed and those who survived. It is well-designed and beautifully laid out. The outside memorial site is free and there was ample street parking (at a cost). The park rangers were helpful and answered all manner of questions. We did not visit the Memorial Museum next door. A park ranger told us that the PBS documentary "American Experience: Oklahoma City" gives a pretty good coverage of the event along the same lines as the museum.
Thomas M — Google review
This does not reflect the memorial itself, which is completely beautiful and peaceful and is a perfect tribute to those lost in the bombing. I want women to be aware that there is a guard who will follow you and listen in on your conversations and will remind you to “be respectful” if he hears something he doesn’t like. I had a rather unfortunate experience, which is so disappointing as a lifelong Oklahoma City resident. I was enjoying the gardens on 07/31 at around 8:45 after having dinner at JK across the street when the security guard on duty that night began to follow my friend and I. He started off standing against the 9:03 wall and made his way over to the remembrance tree where we were sitting and having a chat about life. The guard then came over and asked if we had been to the memorial before and reminded us to “be respectful” of the space. We were simply sitting and admiring the evening and talking amongst ourselves completely away from people. The only reason this security guard backed off when we asked for clarification about what he deems “disrespectful” was because a lovely gentleman taking photos nearby overheard 2 adult women being chastised for talking, in a normal conversational tone might I add. The man taking photos reminded the security guard that we were being respectful by simply utilizing the space and there is nothing disrespectful by sitting down and talking. The guard eventually walked away and we were all left very confused and disappointed that a person appointed to protect the grounds of the memorial chose to use his power to exert authority where it wasn’t warranted. There were 6 people on the grounds in total, and this security person chose to follow my friend and I, 2 young women who had just come from a fabulous dinner, and made us largely uncomfortable and feel unsafe. I would like the company that contracts these characters to remind them what their actual duty is on the grounds, and that it is NOT to eavesdrop on the conversations of women and inject their own bias on what is appropriate versus inappropriate topic of conversation. For what it’s worth, the topic of conversation was about how our dating lives were going. Girl talk does not need to be policed when the comforts of others are not in jeopardy.

Amazing! It brought back memories and emotions I'd forgotten about. It was sad to see how the cowardice of a few could cause such destruction. Yet, refreshing to see the humanity and community that followed. God Bless those we lost. God bless those who survived. God bless those who helped, particularly the police, fire and other first responders. God bless those who quickly identified the guilty, captured them, and put them to justice. And, God bless America! 🇺🇸

The Oklahoma County Courthouse stands as a testament to the architectural vision of Solomon Layton, who designed this impressive structure in 1937. Nestled on Park Avenue, it replaced an earlier courthouse that once occupied the corner of California and Robinson streets. The construction was funded through a bond issue alongside support from the Public Works Administration, reflecting efforts to stimulate job creation during the challenging times of The Great Depression.

I would prefer to rate this place 0 stars. Called 3 times to try to make an appointment for our marriage license. Was told by the lady that I have to be from Oklahoma County to get one there. Even though on the website it says there are no residency requirements for marriage licenses. I called back hoping to get another person, hopefully friendly but was met with the same rude lady. She questioned why I wanted to get my marriage license in Oklahoma county instead of my original county, none of her business. I told her what it says on the website about no residency requirements and she stated it’s preferred if you do it in your county, NOT required. So I ask why she couldn’t have just made my appointment. She told me she wasn’t going to argue with someone who was lower than her. So I said you started off extremely rude with this conversation. She then hung up on me. This lady was extremely unprofessional something definitely needed to be done.

I called to see if I could schedule an appt to get my marriage license. The lady on the phone said I need to have a ceremony scheduled first then I can schedule my appt. I told her we’re not having an actual wedding until next year, and she told me that don’t schedule now and wait for next year then! It’s my first time doing this and I was getting frustrated by the attitude she gave me. I tried to ask why I can just get my marriage license first and I can have my wedding later on, which I know it’s not common but a lot of people still do that. Before I could say anything more, she hung up on me. I then found Edmond Satellite location and gave them a call, I asked what I needed to do and the guy gave me clear instructions on everything. No appt needed, no ceremony needed, just bring yourself, your fiancé and your state ID. Short and simple, as how it SHOULD BE!! If anyone is getting married soon, please please please go to the Edmond location and not here!!!!
Vinni V — Google review
DO NOT go here for your marriage license needs, these people clearly have no life goals nor any type of goodness in their life, and it clearly shows. We arrive at the courthouse on 1/25/2024 to file for a marriage license, the sheriff that was manning the security desk was the most pleasant part of our whole experience. He was very kind. THEN we get to the clerks office, the sign posted says “move to the 4th window” so we proceeded to the fourth window to wait a good 2 minutes in front of a gentleman scrolling on Facebook, how do I know it was Facebook you ask? Because I watched him open his phone and click on the app then proceed to scroll as two people stood in front of him. Then after waiting in silence in front of 3 people we were then greeting by the lady sitting in the first desk when you enter “how can I help you”. She acted like it clearly wasn’t her job. I then start with “we need to file for a marriage license” before I could finish she proceeded to say “you got an appointment?” I of course did not because their website clearly states you don’t need one but it’s preferred. I figured walking into an empty office with 15 open chairs was fine since they were not busy. She gives me a number to call to setup and appointment, I step out into the hall to do so. She then gives me attitude over the phone-like it wasn’t her job yet again. She mentions an Edmond satellite office which I’m like boom keyword there *another place besides this run down dumpster fire of an office* I then do some simple research and find out that you don’t in fact need an appointment with this Edmond office and the reviews are 5 stars. We indeed found out why the Edmond office is five stars, with their amazing hospitality and help. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. they are horrible at everything they do. GO ELSEWHERE TO FILE FOR A MARRIAGE LICENSE.

I wish I could give a lower rating. I spent all day getting yelled at because I can't communicate the same way other people can, what should have taken me an hour max ended up taking 5 hours because they refused to communicate with me via writing, eventually my friend got off work and came to help me but I got a parking ticket and wasted my whole day because of their ableist garbage.

There is so much history to see here! My husband and I took our kids to see the museum, and it is worth the drive to see everything they have! There was no charge to view the museum, no charge for parking, and there is much to see inside and outside of the museum! The veteran volunteer who met us at the door was so kind, and had much to share with us! The facility was well taken care of, and clean. I do recommend having between an hour to two hours to be able to tour through the plethora of history they have here, so that it can be enjoyed and not rushed through. You could spend two hours inside alone, not including the large amount of planes, helicopters, tanks, etc that are outside to view. It is well worth it, and my family will be going back again to be able to take our time to appreciate all the history.

We visited while in the area, very nice collection of Military History. You can start inside and visit through the years of the Military and the different war campaigns. They have arms from the 1800s to the modern day. They have a hall dedicated to Medal of Honor recipients. Very nice layouts with volunteers that will give you more detail information if you desire. Outside is also included which has large military vehicles, tanks, airplanes and helicopters. They are open until 4:15pm everyday and closed on Mondays. They have a nice gift shop. Definitely worth a stop. Very large so allow a couple of hours or more. The museum is free and you can give donations.

After getting familiar with the outside exhibition we decided to go inside the building, even though the building looked small from the outside it came out to be a big piece of a building inside. You get to immerse yourself in this experience. Please don’t hesitate from talking to the staff, they are wonderful people. Highly recommended. It took us about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

I've been visiting this museum for many years it's sad to see that it's closed but I'm looking forward to seeing the new facilities
Gear W — Google review
Another impressive museum. Naturally its primary focus is on the 45th Infantry Thunderbirds, and their history is well represented. What I didn’t expect was the most amazing collection of historic US military firearms that I have ever seen. Well worth a visit. I went on a Friday morning and aside from a couple field trips, I had the place to myself. Oh and it’s free!
Dennis P — Google review
The outdoor exhibits are super awesome. Adults and kids will enjoy seeing at close quarters, Battle tanks, helicopters, aircraft and howitzers. The indoor section also has an extensive collection of weapons used from history wars and other artefacts. A must visit is your in the area and are interested in US army history or generally in the armed forces.

The Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, established in 1969, showcases a wide array of firefighting equipment dating back to the 18th century. It is a tribute to the courageous firefighters who risk their lives daily. The museum offers interactive exhibits providing visitors with an immersive experience of the firefighter's life. With over a dozen vintage fire trucks and various uniforms on display, it narrates the history of firefighting from the 1730s to the present day.
My husband and I brought our children here, thanks to our local library for making passes available to library members! We enjoyed coming to tour the museum with all they have to see! From old antique fire engines, to uniforms, patches, pull hoses, and much more inside! Outside they have several fire engines for children to be able to look around closely (and respectfully) and take photos with. They also have a picnic area and a playground which my children very much enjoyed. I highly recommend coming!
Tiffany A — Google review
Nice, smaller museum. The ladder truck is unique. Friendly staff. Big patch display.
J P — Google review
We were the only visitors early Saturday morning right after they opened, so there was no wait or a line. From the outside it is a very large building but once we were inside, I was surprised at how small the museum area actually was. Luckily the fee to enter is small. The contents are very impressive. The sheer amount of antique fire engines that are pristinely restored is enough to knock your socks off. There is firehouse memorabilia and artifacts everywhere the eye can see and beyond. They even have a kids area with themed coloring pages and toys that they can play with. My four year old especially loved playing with the toy fire trucks. The museum also includes a modest gift shop area with reasonably priced souvenirs. You can spend a good couple of hours pouring over each item and reading all the information posted. Out front is a playground and a couple more fire engines that you can climb on for some really cute photo ops.

After my test took a little trip to the Oklahoma fire fighter museum. Only $6 per adult half off for firefighters I highly recommend stopping in. They will also trade a challenge coin for a dept patch I plan to bring one next time I’m in OKC for Poole Community Fire & Rescue. They are also expanding and will have more engines and trucks.

ME AND MY DAUGHTER HAD SO MUCH FUN, WHAT AN HONOR TO HAVE SEEN THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MUSEUM THAT HONORS OUR BRAVE HEROES 👨🏻‍🚒🧑🏻‍🚒👩🏻‍🚒
Melissa Z — Google review
Another great little museum. I visited on a Saturday morning right when they opened, honestly got lucky with my timing as they were closing for a private event, but I was able to get an hour in before they closed. Staggering amount of firefighting history in such a compact museum. I appreciate them letting me in without charging and even offering a complimentary ticket for a follow up visit.
Dennis P — Google review
Highly recommend! We Loved the tour and experience! Gained some knowledge about early 1900s. There was a variety of table top activities and toys. Nice, simple gift shop. Unknown GEM was the playground outside the entrance. It was surprisingly unexpected and has about 5 shaded picnic tables!! If you need a smaller sized museum with less of a crowd. This is an amazing place! Duration was about 1.5 hours. Decent entry fee. Will come again.
Kristy E — Google review
It’s full of interesting exhibits and memorabilia that really showcase the history and bravery of firefighters. I loved seeing the old fire trucks, gear, and photos — it really gives you a sense of the dedication and courage of these heroes. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the museum is clean and well-organized. It’s a great place to visit for families, history buffs, or anyone who wants to learn more about firefighters.

It's a cool landmark that has a milk bottle on top of it. Also, I got an added bonus of an Oklahoma City mural on the side of the building.

Irene E — Google review
If you like seeking out "giant" structures on Route 66, this is a must-see. It isn't huge, but it's definitely the biggest milk bottle we've ever seen! A cute photo op on a Route 66 road trip.

Only the realest in OKC know! The Milk Bottle Building is iconic. A huge part of my childhood especially when it was 'Banh Mi Ba Le' would walk here often for delicious $2 Vietnamese baguette sandwiches.
Vickie — Google review
Just good for a quick drive by picture but a quirky piece of route 66 Americana history.

It’s on a busy intersection so slowing down to take pictures could be challenging. Also no parking right near it since it’s at an intersection.

Red Earth, Inc. is an urban gallery in Oklahoma City that houses a permanent collection of Native American fine art, pottery, basketry, and textiles. The Red Earth Festival is one of the most popular cultural events in Oklahoma and celebrates Native American culture and art through traditional dances, music, and art exhibitions. Visitors can also enjoy the annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon which commemorates the state's history and culture.
I made it here to the Red Earth Arts Center from Seminole just in time to enjoy about 45 minutes worth of beautiful art before they closed. Totally worth the trip. So much rich Native art, culture, and beauty. This was only the lobby area. I will go see the second floor exhibits when I come back. Going to see things like this expands my mind and broadens my horizons. I enjoyed this very much. Highly recommend!
A-yo J — Google review
We went to look at the Christmas trees which were a pleasure. Besides the trees there isn't a lot else to look at. It's a small gallery. The art that they do have is beautiful and meaningful. It was a difficult place to find. I recommend parking at the parking garage on Broadway and taking the elevator to the bottom. Walk around until you see painted buffalos.
Lisa J — Google review
A uniquely Oklahoman experience. The rotating gallery has a collection of over 1,000 original works of art by Native American artists. They do a great job of telling the story of the Native American people through contemporary art. The staff is informative and very friendly. Definitely a gem in downtown OKC.
Josh V — Google review
My husband and I took our kiddos to see all the Christmas trees from different Native American tribes in Oklahoma. It was great for our kids to read a description of each tree and why they chose the specific ornaments to decorate with. Highly recommend checking it out.
Courtney S — Google review
Simply breathtaking home for the Native American art. Lots to look at such as paintings and pottery. The Red Earth company is located in downtown Oklahoma City and the staff is very welcoming. Plus you have access to the underground just a few feet away.

The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame is a museum that honors athletes from across the state. The museum has a great view of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, and it's free to visit. There are few female representatives in the museum, but it's well-curated and full of memorabilia from many different sports.
This is a very impressive place. Ton of memorabilia and information about the athletes. Everything is presented extremely well. It's free to the public. A great place for a sports fanatic to visit.
Jeff B — Google review
The Museum is a fantastic place for any sports fan. I was really looking forward to seeing the athletic training exhibit, but unfortunately, it was only temporary. That was a bit disappointing, but the rest of the museum more than made up for it. The sports memorabilia collection is impressive, and the way it’s displayed truly honors Oklahoma’s athletic history. From legendary athletes to historic moments, every exhibit is thoughtfully arranged and well-maintained. A huge shoutout to Justin, who was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. His hospitality made my visit even better. One important note—this museum is privately funded, so it relies on donations. If you visit, consider contributing to help keep this incredible collection alive! It’s definitely worth a visit, even if I wish that exhibit had still been there.

Very nice shrine to anyone that has anything to do with Oklahoma in sports. If you were involved in any sport and were either born, went to school or played in Oklahoma.. you're in! I guess you had to have a little bit of notoriety, but I never heard of more than half of the inductees.

This is an excellent venue. The acoustics are wonderful and the seating is comfortable with enough legroom

My daughters first ballet recital was held here. It's not a huge theater but it was nice and comfy. The restrooms were clean and easy parking. The night we were there bottled soda and water were for sale, as well as bags of chips and candy. Our seats were not in the balcony so not sure what the view is like there.
Amy N — Google review
Very easy to locate. Ample parking. When inside, the ushers are very helpful! There are concessions inside. Seats are comfortable and not cramped. Ramps down both sides and very accommodating for disabled individuals. I’m not sure how many restrooms there are on the 3 floors but I’d say there’s about 6-8 stalls per female bathroom.

We have used this center for our daughter Bharatanatyam Arangetram (solo debut performance), this stage is great for audio, lighting, video playing, dinner place etc. They have multiple options to pick and choose. The Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a truly inspiring destination that radiates tranquility and spiritual strength amidst the vibrant city life. Its striking white exterior and elegant spires create an atmosphere of reverence, inviting visitors to appreciate its beauty even before entering. While access inside is limited to members with Temple Recommends, the surrounding grounds are open for everyone to enjoy.
This is where I shared my first temple experience with my amazing wife. I have been a member since I was 16 but was inactive for many years, only recently have I begun to take the steps necessary to obtain a temple recommend. This visit is one I will cherish forever and never forget. I would like to thank the temple workers for helping make my first visit an extremely positive one! You guys are amazing!! 🙂❤️

I had the privilege of creating florals for this lovely couple's Christmas wedding last year. Being able to style florals in the bride's hair was an extra special treat. Although going inside the temple is reserved for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who hold Temple Recommends, the grounds are open to visitors. As a florist I definitely noticed the landscaping which is always lovely each season. I highly recommend coming and sitting by the fountain at the backside of the temple. Very peaceful! I hope to be able to create more bouquets for those who get sealed in the Oklahoma City Temple! -All photos taken by Cristina Soto Photography

For anyone seeking a place of peace and spiritual renewal, the Oklahoma City Temple is a sanctuary of hope and a source of divine inspiration, truly a place where heaven meets earth.

Beautiful temple. The peace and joy found in temples is incomparable to anywhere else. This temple is one of the "mini" temples. Don't miss the fountain in the back. For members: make sure to check their hours and appointments. They fill up quick and well, being from Utah, I was disappointed to learn that they have very restricted hours, especially on Saturday. Maybe if we fill it up they'll have to extend their hours!! 💙
M. H — Google review
I made some very poor choices several years back and was not able to attend the temple for three years. I am back to where I need to be now and will visit the temple as often as occasion will permit from now on.

For a spiritual experience this is the place to be... However if you aren't a member of the LDS church you can't go inside. You can walk the grounds and experience the spirit outside the temple and the beauty of the outside of the temple.
