Absolutely loved this place!! Everyone very friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed talking to Kyla at the blacksmith shop. Bought some fun little items in the gift shop that were made in the village. Super cool place!!

We enjoyed our experience! We loved learning about the history, enjoyed speaking to the cast who knew all the history. Was a nice walking in a well shaded area. It was just my husband and I this time but we will definitely bring our kiddos next time.
Go to the FortWorth cabin village early so you can avoid the heat and have hardly any waiting time for cabin watching and also to get a good parking spot. Paid $7 (cash/card) for adult ticket entrance and they’ll provide a cabin village map.
The overall experience was great! The entrance employees made me laugh and that made the first time experience memorable, specially since I barely found out of this place!
The walkthrough was a learning experience with each cabin having a historian explaining the background of the cabin and the rich cultural history of the home. Some cabins do have home items that you can touch and the Wickian cabin (last cabin on the map) does allow for you to experience how to make a candle. The employee in the candle cabin was informative and knowledgeable of the candle making process, you can tell she enjoys working in the village! There are fans in the cabins so you can cool off while you hear the historians speak.
Great experience if you’re interested in the past of early America. Kid friendly, nice atmosphere. Blacksmith took interest in my 10 year old grandson and ask him several questions about his shop.
Trip to lob wood cabin would take you back in time to 1850s . How Texans use to live . Sewing machines of that time , blacksmith shoproom , classrooms of that time, a flour mill operated my a water wheel, ancient candle making , kitchens , dairy farm , bakery etc. It is a museum which one can easily enjoy in an hour. there is also a zoo near the place so it can be a perfect vacation trip spot.
This little village is adorable place to visit. You get to learn about history of Fortworth and see what they did and where they lived. In every little house there is a person who explains you what people used to do and the way they lived. The staff are very kind and approachable, and they make the village an even more beautiful place.
It is a great place to learn about the past. The staff/reenactors are very knowledgeable and make for a great visit. It is very popular with schools, kids love it. I'm an old man now but I remember visiting it as a child in elementary school myself and I loved it. The memories I have are very strong especially of the lady dipping candles. The current lady would have been in school with me, but she remembered too.
Took the grandkids and they totally enjoyed it.
The people were friendly, knowledgeable and took time to answer all their questions.

As a destination, it's a very cool place. The buildings and atmosphere are truly amazing. The restaurants are great, and the buildings really look the part. But things are quite touristy; only a few shops have authentic feel to the western goods they sell. Most are of the t-shirts and trinkets variety, although there are boots galore and a fair array of hats for sale, and the tiniest bit of tack. One excellent furniture store. Terrific place to see urban "woo!" girls in shorts and boots falling out of their tops; it's easy to imagine this is a Bachelorette destination. Pricing varies from cheap tourist trash to woah, pardner, I left the Platinum card in my other pants. If like to have seen more local craftsmen but I think that's true for me everywhere I go. $30 to park ensures you don't just drop in for an hour, the place is a commitment best spread over the chunk of a day. Glad we went, hope my son takes his family some day, not sure I'll be back for a couple of decades but sure enjoyed it once.
As someone who lived in Fort Worth, the Stockyards isn’t my go-to place to hang out, but if you’re visiting or looking for something unique, I cannot recommend it more!
First, of course, the history is so interesting and the area is such a good representation of the Western/Texan style while being modernized. It is largely a shopping center with bars and restaurants. If you’re visiting Fort Worth, DEFINITELY take some hours to explore! There’s some good food, Texan-owned businesses, fun stores to check out, unique bars, and more!
Definitely spend some time on the street to check out the longhorns and enjoy the people watching! Definitely stop into Billybob’s! Enjoy!
Well worth the visit! Lots of shopping and plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
We had lunch at Provender Hall. Sat upstairs (you have to be able to climb the stairs.) Great atmosphere, awesome service, and outstanding.
Parking can be a challenge. There is valet parking available throughout the area. Free parking is available, and it fills up fast.
Great place to take the entire family and could easily spend a couple days there and not get bored. We visited a lot of shops and grabbed some food on a Sunday and watched the cattle drive. We had a lot of fun and found some great treasures.
So much can be said about the Stockyards. From the bulls to the bars. Billy Bobs was awesome. We were there mid day so it wasn't busy at all. The night life picked up and we did a little dancing. We will definitely be visiting again 😊
Great place for an adult weekend getaway! We visited the world famous Billy Bob’s for a concert, watched the daily longhorn cattle drive, attended the rodeo and shopped at the stores. Parking in the public lots range $10-$25 a day. Be prepared for a lot of walking.
The wife and I decided that we would bring our teenage daughter and our autistic son here this week along with our ranch hand.
Our son just loves the longhorns and the dinosaur shaped water feature.
We all had a good time.

The main waterfall area is fun to walk down into, and there’s a quiet pool if you just want to sit and chill for a bit.
It's free, open to the public, and not usually too crowded. Not a place I’d go way out of my way for, but a nice stop if you’re already nearby or looking for a peaceful break in the city.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens are a unique spot with some stunning features, like the beautiful trees, striking rock wall “mountains,” and the impressive fountains. The active water features are mesmerizing to watch and really set the gardens apart. That said, it can get pretty crowded, which makes it harder to fully enjoy the space, and there’s a bit of an odor near the first pool when you walk down the steps. The gardens can also feel a little less inviting at night, as there are often homeless individuals around. Overall, it’s worth visiting during the day to appreciate the fountains, design, and natural beauty.
We were a group of 5 and visited the Fort Worth Water Gardens on a Friday night. We really loved it! It’s a simple place, not too much to explore, but peaceful and calming. You can enjoy the view from the top or walk down the steps to hear the sound of the water. Sometimes, all you need is a quiet and relaxing spot and this place is perfect for that. Street parking is free after 6 PM on weekends, but on regular days, it's paid.
It is absolutely beautiful but a good portion of the fountain was not working. You can you see my pictures a lot of the white portions are just staining on the rocks not actual water coming down. Kind of ruined the aesthetic. :/ hopefully they get it fixed soon because it is a very relaxing and calming environment. They don't want you climbing on all of the features that don't have water, even though it's impossible to keep kids off, of but the portion with a scary descent with no handrails into the water feature is encouraged. Confused:/
We had planned to go there many days ago, but couldn't manage our time. Finally, when we did visit, the mesmerizing view of the fantastic water garden was a source of mental peace. Many people were there, enjoying the beauty of the waterfall, the calm garden, and the small artificial mountains. We truly loved our time there.
Truly a wonderful experience, a must visit destination if you are in Fort Worth area. Stepping inside the Water Gardens, especially the Quite Pool; it is quite an amazing place as if you are not even in the bustling city with the turquoise water and beautiful redwoods.
I felt like I was super Mario as we descended down into the depths of the Active Water Pool, one of multiple water art exhibits found at the Ft Worth water gardens. When you visit, imagine the music of the first level of Super Mario Brothers. If you really want to make it authentic, try and hop between each step (actually no don’t try that).
In all seriousness though, my wife and I enjoyed our quick visit to this spot before a show at the Bass music hall. We wanted to see some local attractions and outdoor gardens and those types of things that were free in the area before getting dinner. We enjoyed seeing it.

Not really place sit and chill per se. No covered shades fir when it rains of the sun is too much but the sight and aesthetics are good to see.

The Kimbell Museum in Fort Worth made a strong impression on me. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, and it makes you want to stay longer and simply enjoy the art. I was especially amazed to see original works by Caravaggio, Michelangelo, and other great masters. It’s a rare chance to experience world-famous masterpieces in person.
The exhibition is beautifully curated, everything is high-quality and thoughtfully arranged. This place truly inspires and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Highly recommend it for a cultural escape
Went for the Myth and Marble rotating exhibit. Also, walked around to see their permanent art collections. Overall, very nice and interesting. Lots of French artists but still some good variety. Preferred the sculptures and pottery over the paintings. Definitely a fun and quick thing to do on an outing. May not recommend bringing young children as the museum staff enforce “quiet and pleasant” atmosphere. Also, not allowed to get too close to each piece not all are roped off with preferred distance for viewing but there is quite a bit of staff stationed in each area.
Myth and Marble exhibit was interesting but not as good as I was expecting. A lot of statues not in their original design or were renovated with modern materials to reflect the idea of what it would have looked like when first being made.
A true Louis Kahn masterpiece. I love that the museum features works by Picasso, Alma-Tadema, and Tintoretto—and the best part: admission is free! You can fully enjoy both the stunning architecture and the remarkable art collection.
I recently visited the ancient Roman sculpture exhibit, and it was a captivating experience! The collection was not only fascinating but also beautifully curated, allowing each piece to shine. I found myself completely engrossed in the artistry and stories behind the sculptures. It was a wonderful day.
Very fun and cool, the children's place have lots of toys and books. The museum have plenty of collections which impressed me a lot! I love the Chinese collections and was amazed by the Maya art collection. Hope I will go there another day!

I also enjoyed a glass of white wine at the museum café, which added a nice touch of relaxation to my visit. I love visiting! They have wonderful exhibits and their permanent collection is beautiful. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. I don't mind the srive from Dallas, a visit to the Kimball is always a good day.

This was another great experience! I went as a kid, my kids went as kids and now they have upgraded everything to amazing picture and sound quality, and the seats are perfect!
Sad to say the helicopter ride from the past is gone, but it so amazing I can't count it against them.

Great museum for all ages! The exhibits are fun and hands-on, especially the DinoDig and energy lab — perfect for kids. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff was really friendly. It felt a little overpriced for the size, but it’s still a solid half-day activity if you're in the Cultural District. Worth a visit, just don’t expect to spend the whole day there.
Good museum, a little smaller than the Perot but a good amount of hands on activities for kids. The theater is amazing though definitely worth it. I suggest watching something realistic in the theater to maximize the experience. Animated items aren't as vivid.
My daughter is part of the QUEST program in HEB ISD, and we were invited to visit the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. It was our first time there, and we really enjoyed it! My daughter loved the experience — it was fun, educational, and very well organized. We’d love to visit again!
We always have so much fun when we visit! There is so much for kids of all ages to explore discover and learn about. We come twice a year at minimum just for the new things they have out. They have something for absolutely everything kid that goes no matter the age, even my 17 year old loves coming with his little sister. I tend to find Monday the best day to show up. Would recommend you order your tickets online for a faster smoother entry.
Kids really enjoyed it. Ages 6,7,11,12. They had a place for the littles to do hands on activities and a place for the older ones to do hands on activities. They enjoyed those the most. It is much like the Perot Museum in Dallas but with different stuff. If you go to the planetarium, included with ticket, sit opposite of the doors. Otherwise you will be looking over your shoulder.

I was a bit disappointed by this museum. Coming from Albuquerque, NM I guess perhaps I had a different expectation of what a "Science and History" museum should be. Our Natural History museum has exhibits on dinosaurs - which was similar but had less specimens, but also much about the history piece, geology, what the area was like when the dinosaurs were living there. But the FW museum felt more like a museum with an agenda. Rather than explain the why around dinosaurs, it had Texas's 2 main (and somewhat controversial) exported resources and history around them. Also the energy piece was out of date.

Situated in the historic Sundance Square, the Sid Richardson Museum is a small yet captivating museum showcasing an impressive collection of Wild West paintings. Established in 1982 to honor the legacy of Sid Richardson, the museum boasts permanent and special exhibitions featuring artworks by renowned Western artists like Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington. The museum's mission is to inspire and educate visitors through exceptional works that depict both the allure and realism of the American West.
I did not expect to enjoy this museum, it was great display of western art and some of the drawings told stories of Lewis and Clark expeditions. If you have questions ask the staff they are very friendly and know the art. At the end of my visit I sent postcards which are free of charge. Entry is also free for public. I highly recommend visiting if you are in town. 5 stars!

My partner and I were visited her family as she’s originally from Fort Worth area. We travelled all the way from the UK and stumbled upon this lovely gallery. The lady at the front desk was so so lovely and gave us a fantastic rundown of the artists displayed. She encouraged us to fill out a postcard which they paid for delivery back to the UK which was a nice touch as well. This was my first day/experience of the kind of hospitality that makes me want to move over to Texas. We can’t wait to be back and will definitely pop in again. Thank you to the lady who was in a cast at the time who made us feel so welcome. ☺️
What a cool place of Western Film History. I was just doing a morning walk in downtown Fort Worth and stumbled upon this museum.
Not only is admission free but the staff is very kind and knowledgeable about all of the paintings and their historical ties to Hollywood.
My absolute favorite was little Ruth's drawing in the kids area, it had me laughing and the Hunter on his horse in Moonlight painting, it is powerful.
A small and compact museum of Western Art that still holds quite a bit of character with numerous paintings that carry a wide variety of different emotions. Admissions is free, staff is polite, and the atmosphere is calming as the museum is not overly busy. Equally as interesting is the history of the museum as it was founded by a sort of successful Texan oil executive.

An unexpected surprise while walking down town Fort Worth. The museum is generously FREE and features iconic art and sculptures, particularly from Frederic Remington as Sid Richardson was a prominent collector.

Great museum right in downtown Fort Worth! It was free and the people working there were super friendly. It was really neat to see how art and the early movies went hand in hand!
Small museum but a great collection of Remington and Russell works! Bibi was so helpful, telling us all about the artists and even taking the time to look up the answer to a specific question I had about them. We were told that the museum displays about one-third of Richardson’s collection at any given time and rotates pieces every year so it would be worth visiting again.
I did notice, as others mentioned, that you could hear the security cameras moving as we walked through the exhibit. I understand the need for security with such valuable artwork, but the noise was a bit distracting from the overall experience and somewhat unnerving. Perhaps some quieter cameras? 😊
All in all, I would highly recommend visiting this museum, and you can’t beat the free admission!

Nestled within the Will Rogers Memorial Complex, the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame is a captivating destination that pays tribute to the remarkable women who shaped the American West. This unique museum stands out as it highlights the often-overlooked contributions of female pioneers through an impressive collection of over 4,000 artifacts.
Great museum! The museum is clean, well-lit, and arranged nicely with a lot of great exhibits about different aspects of cowgirls from Annie Oakley to Reba McEntire. They're are a couple interactive things - a mechanical horse for kids, and one for adults too, and a touchscreen display to design your own horse & boots. It's not a very large place, but that means it's perfect for an hour or two visit. Very well maintained and aesthetically pleasing museum with lots of interactive displays. The kids enjoyed all of the history of women and their roles on horsemanship, etc. They have a great collection of items on display, and we loved the art displays too. The kids enjoyed creating and designing their own boots and jackets with the interactive setup. They do have a lot of construction outside to expand but we did not have any problems parking on a weekday.
Looking for a place to get out of the Texas heat and learn about some wonderful Cowgirls in history, then this is a must! It’s located directly across the Dickies Arena so we went the day after our concert. The staff were friendly, some exhibits were interactive, and there was something for all age groups. We learned about Annie Oakley, the King Ranch brand “HK” was the ranches first brand for Henrietta King and how amazing she was. Definitely recommend!
Have to bring every friend and family member that comes into town to experience all that Fort Worth has to offer including this beautiful Museum that so beautifully celebrates women and Cowgirl history! Always recommend!

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden, established in 1934, is a sprawling 120-acre oasis featuring an array of attractions for nature enthusiasts. This is one of my favorite spots in Fort Worth! It is absolutely stunning. I have been to quote a few Japanese Garden in USA, the again is the best!
The Japanese garden is well designed in a large part of Fort Worth Botanical Garden. It shows how the architects care and respect Japanese gardens. Beautiful buildings are also in there.
I went there when it is all green but I can see lot of maple trees. I imagine that when it is late November, the park will even be more stunning!

Absolutely incredible place to visit. The Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens are worth the trip. We didn't get to cover half of the property but spent a solid 3 hours on the first half. Bring water and snacks and plan to spend some time exploring. It has something for all ages and overall just a wonderful place. Highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful and refreshing gardens. We went while they had the musical swings, which were so fun! They’re taking them out December 7th, so definitely visit before! I visited around 9AM-11AM on Sunday, perfect time to go. Not too hot outside/in the conservatory and not too many people/no crowds
We love this place! It’s our favorite place to go on family walks. Right now they have the musical swings which are fun for any age! I love how we can feed the giant fishes and see all the gorgeous plants. Every time we come there is something new to see! This time of year beware you might see some creepy crawlers. Awesome views especially during the japanese festival, great place to visit with loved ones!!! Had so much good memories with boyfriend. It's in the fall though so there weren't a lot of flowers, but I'm still very happy visiting here
Even though on our walk through the garden it rained we still enjoyed our time. Had the opportunity to see flowers I have not seen before and take in all the beauty of the botanical garden. Highly recommend getting the $4 bag of fish food for the fish and turtles. Such a peaceful and calming place to visit.

The museum has a great collection of American art. Notable topics: American history, American industrial era, Native American history, Asian-American art, Classical music, and other topics. The museum has a museum shops with nice merchandise and gifts, restrooms with friendly aid for children (hand washing area), library (open September to May), sitting areas indoor and outdoor, and parking. It’s a child friendly art museum.
The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is often overlooked with the other more popular art museums in the area. However, it should definitely be on your list if you’re looking for something a little different with a good amount of art about the American West not often showcased in other museums. Oh, did I mention that admission is free? If you’re an art junkie and try to appreciate all the pieces you’ll want to budget around 2-3 hours.

I recognize that this museum is quite a bit more focused than others - it’s American art and that’s it - but they do such a good job. Keep in mind that I tend to get most excited about the special exhibits, and they have very good ones (most recently, Avedon and Charles Butt). Oh yeah… it’s free!
The only other museum worth my time is the Kimball… and I’m from Dallas, and hugely disappointed by the DMA.

Always a great time seeing a show here. Gorgeous art deco design (even if it isn't a true art deco-era building) and classy finishes, though maybe a tad heavy on the 80s pastel paint swatches. I love getting dressed up for a night on the town then coming to sit down and watch an entertaining show for a date night here.
I recently visited the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth for the first time to see The Wiz on Broadway, and I was very impressed. Parking was easy to find and free, and the website had all the details a first-time visitor would need, which was very helpful.
Everyone I encountered from security, to the ushers, to the bartenders was welcoming and accommodating. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the hall. Even if you’re in the very last row, you’ll still have a great view of the stage. Another bonus is that there are several restaurants conveniently close by. After the show, my friends and I walked right across the street for dinner, which made the night even more enjoyable.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. The service truly felt A+. The only downside was the price of the drinks — I paid about fifteen dollars plus the cost of a souvenir cup, and the themed mixed drink tasted more like juice than a cocktail. Next time, I’ll stick with wine or a soft drink. That said, I did like that you can bring the souvenir cups back for future visits, since only those are allowed in the theater.
Bass Hall is a beautiful venue for performances of broadway theater and other artists.
The dome is a stunning view from inside the theater, their are plenty of restrooms throughout so you are not stuck in line like some other facilities.
In my opinion, after attending tons of Broadway (on and off broadway) in many theaters, the box seats here are not worth the price. The seats were so uncomfortable and awkwardly close to other patrons we could not speak without all having a conversation together with new "stranger friends".
If you want a box, reserve the entire box.
Maybe just the performances or just this theater, but three shows in box seats and have never had box service - completely different than any other theater experience and expectations.
All in all, it is beautiful, it seems everything is original, the marble is stunning throughout. It has a historical vibe to it even though it was built in 1998. The bathrooms have the full length door (thank you- finally, privacy).

Took my son and my sibling to see The Book of Mormon (my favorite musical ever!) and had a great time! Staff was friendly and helpful, even pointing out prime spots for photo ops with the gorgeous architecture. We were in the nosebleed seats and still had a great view of the performance.
Parking tip, though: maybe skip the valet. There's a garage right across the street from the theatre, and getting our car back after the show took a VERY long time. We weren't in any hurry, so it wasn't a big deal, but next time I'll just go to the garage.

Bass Concert Hall is one of the things that makes downtown Fort Worth so special! You don't even have to enter the building to feel its impact, the outside is so beautiful with its architecture and the trumpet angels. Inside, you won't be disappointed. It's a wonderful place to see a range of different performances.
We saw The Addams Family last weekend and it was fabulous! I've never been disappointed at Bass Hall, the acoustics, the lighting, the stage, the show the orchestra. It's all great! The seats really could give you a little more leg room because if you're taller than I am at 5'5. I don't see how you can sit there without your knees up to your chin but that would require a major overhaul. And I don't think I want Bass Hall shut down for that long LOL

I went to Billy Bob’s tonight and had an unforgettable time! The atmosphere was everything you’d expect from a classic Texas honkytonk—Cowboys and cowgirls, pool tables, good food, and that unmistakable Southern charm!
I came for the Eric Gales concert, and WOW—he blew the roof off! The music, the energy, the crowd… it was incredible. The venue is spacious yet cozy, and the sound quality was excellent.
We went to see Charles Wesley Godwin and it was amazing. Acoustics were great. The house band did an amazing job warming up the crowd and creating a good dancing atmosphere. This was a filun night. I ate the brisket loaded tater tots and was impressed. Fun date night for sure!
Sold out was insane, shaboozey was great but it was way to packed, everyone was shoulder to shoulder. A poor guy passed out near us. There was lack of security front stage and multiple fights broke out. We left early sadly. Week days are calm dance lessons are great, food is good. I hope in the future they get better air cooling for packed concerts.

Glad to have been able to enjoy some live music and delicious eats at the Worlds Largest Honky Tonk! Around every corner is something to stop and grab your attention. There are many photo opportunities here and things to do aside from two stepping and sitting at one of their many bars!

The Stockyards Museum, situated in the historic Livestock Exchange Building constructed in 1902, offers a captivating journey through the evolution of Fort Worth's cattle trade. Showcasing an array of artifacts, photographs, and exhibits, it delves into the region's Native American ties, the renowned Chisholm Trail, livestock market operations, and the influential Swift and Armour Packing plants.
Beautiful local history and the proximity to the train was so cool, you could feel the ground vibrate! Dropped by just to check it out and ended up spending an hour here. I feel like it told the history though the artifacts they had nicely displayed. Wonderful learning experience we learned a lot!

If you're looking for a dose of Texan history served up with a side of belly laughs, then mosey on down to the Fort Worth Stockyards Museum! This place is teeming with rich history, captivating exhibits, and a staff that's friendlier than a prairie dog in springtime.
The exhibits? Top-tier. Learned about Texas history like a cowboy straight outta school - which, given my track record in high school history, is a feat in itself. Who knew cattle drives and trade posts could be such a hoot? But the real highlight? That award goes to Maurie, the resident museum dog.
Never did I think I'd be schooled in history by a four-legged curator. Maurie, an expert in Texas lore and probably the world's greatest hide-and-seek player, leads visitors on a one-of-a-kind museum tour. All this while nailing the perfect mix of charm and dogged determination! (Pun definitely intended.)
Maurie's more than just a pup with a job, though. He's the heart of the museum - a canine ambassador of Texan culture if you will. Maurie was as keen on giving us the inside scoop on Fort Worth history as he was on fetching his favorite toy. His endearing antics turned an ordinary museum visit into a memorable day full of chuckles and unforgettable insights.
So whether you're a cowboy at heart, a history buff, or just someone looking for a tail-waggingly good time, the Fort Worth Stockyards Museum is the place to be. And trust me, Maurie will be just as excited to see you as you are to see him. Yeehaw!

We watched the bulls at 11:30 and 4! Such history! Loved it! Will go back! Parked in the parking lot at the 100 block of Stockyard Blvd. Walked down the alley and the waited by Avoca coffee shop. They had good coffee too! The 4 o'clock was after lunch in Risckys BBQ the Stockyards alley where the rail way goes through the old cattle trading area. The shops are very cool to explore! Make sure you look! There's YouTube videos we watched first. We did the John Wayne museum($23.50/pp), the Stockyards museum too($2/pp) there's also a long horn you can get your picture with, in saddle, for $5!

Some of the planes are under active restoration, which was really cool to see—it's impressive to witness the care and effort going into preserving these pieces of history. There were some truly unique aircraft that I hadn't seen elsewhere. The docent on duty was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and share stories. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The museum was beautiful, my boyfriend had a lot of fun too. Stormy the cat was an adorable addition to all of the cool artifacts laying around the inside section of the museum. The people were very kind, open, and chatty.
A must stop. Our guide Buster was phenomenal and went above and beyond to share his knowledge as a Vietnam veteran and retired aviation industry employee! The war birds on display were so cool but the hands on approach and personal knowledge of the guides sets the museum apart. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our visit. The Vintage Flying Museum at Meacham Airport is a fantastic place to see airworthy vintage aircraft up close. It has a real working-hangar feel—many planes are still flown, and restoration work happens right in front of you.
Highlights include classic warbirds like the T-28 Trojan, Cessna T-37, and Beech 18, and you're allowed to get close, sometimes even inside. The volunteers are passionate and full of stories, making it feel personal and immersive.
If you want a living museum where the planes aren’t just on display but actually fly, this is the spot. A hidden gem for aviation lovers in Fort Worth!

Considering the price of the ticket, I got more than I was expecting. A wonderful journey into the life and history of an icon of the cinema. Excuse me while I go watch a few John Wayne movies and miss my grandpa for a few hours.

I have been to the Quiet Man museum in Cong Ireland, the JW birthplace museum in Winterset Iowa, and this one. All three were great. This one gave more insight into all aspects of his life. Definitely worth going to if you want to learn things about the man, his family and his life.

A must do if you are in Ft Worth Texas
This is a must for the John Wayne fan. It walks you through from the time he was in the military to the last of his 169 movie film career. Lots of personal memorabilia to include cars, outfits, letters, and photographs. Plan on staying a while. It’ll take a minimum of an hour to soak it all up. At the end of the museum there is a nice gift shop that has John Wayne official merch. Break out the AMEX. It’s pretty expensive. My sister bought me an $80 coffee cup. Probably worth $2 bucks. I love he for it… but we were all shocked at the price tag. I insisted she put it back… but she wanted me to have it. So, I’ll treasure it more for the thought than the overpriced cup.
To be honest, I'm not a huge John Wayne fan. I don't dislike him, I just have never really watched many westerns. That being said, I really enjoyed going through the exhibit and learning about The Duke. It is amazing what he accomplished and the legacy he built for himself and his family. If you are in the Fort Worth area, I would 100% recommend you go see this!

Fort Worth's Flatiron Building, originally known as Saunders' Triangle Building, was commissioned in 1907 by Dr. Bacon Saunders and was inspired by the iconic 22-story Flatiron Building in New York City. Due to budgetary concerns, it was scaled back to seven stories. The design pays homage to the original building and features panther head gargoyles on the second floor, reflecting Fort Worth's nickname 'Panther City.'
A nice historic building worth taking a look at once in the area. There is a nice church behind the building.
This building reminds me of the Emily Morgan building in San Antonio and the Fuller building in New York City.

I had to agree with some of the reviews . I was very disappointing not being able to tour the whole house , mostly a tour of the living area and dinning area and lots is not original anymore . A 5 star for the person sharing the information but the tour was too short . I’ve Been to many other old mansion tours around the world maybe my expectations were to high comparing them to the other tours 😁. It remind of this older house at the medical district area where they have estate sales often . The best part was just looking at the outside which is free 😁.
Beautiful house, but unfortunately other than the structure to an extent and an old bench in the hallway, most is no longer original. The tour cost $15 per person but regrettably consisted only of the ground floor rooms as all others have been converted to offices with no access. The entire tour lasted about 15 minutes. A little steep in price for just that. We have had better experiences in other old mansions.
The house, what we saw of it, was beautiful. Woodwork is gorgeous. Only viewed 5 rooms on first floor for $15. No bedrooms, no second floor, no service rooms. These areas are office spaces now. Furnishings not original to the home except a bench by the front door which is beautiful. The home and our guide 5 stars. Amount of rooms to view and the price have this the 3 star rating.

I got married here in 2014. The location was absolutely beautiful and when I first went to view the location to lock everything in, Ms. Stadler was so inviting and welcoming that we just knew it would be well worth it, or so we thought. The day of the wedding there were two other ladies who were there to oversee everything instead of Ms. Stadler, which we were completely fine with. These two ladies pretended to be extremely nice to my husband and I however, they were not so nice to my guest. I had the location rented out until 6:30, or at least that it what was paid for and agreed to. However, the two ladies that were on location that day made my guest feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome by following them around throughout the venue, not to mention my Maid of Honor overheard them(the two staff members on location) saying "it's like a zoo in here" as well as began telling my videographer, dj, and photographer around 4pm that it was time to start wrapping things up. I did not appreciate this, it was unprofessional. While the Home is absolutely stunning, the "staff" not so much. I would not recommend. I only gave 2 stars because of the interaction with Ms. Stadler, everything else was a complete waste.

The Texas Civil War Museum is one of the largest museums dedicated to the history of the American Civil War. The museum encompasses three separate galleries, each with a different focus on aspects of the war. The collection includes over 3,000 items, from uniforms and weapons to amputation kits.
We finally made it out to the museum after years of saying "we really need to check that out someday". So glad we went! We're both huge old west and Tombstone junkies and this museum is absolutely incredible! If you love seeing munitions from years past, actual clothing work by the soldiers, including Ulysses S Grant's jacket, and dresses from the 1860s through the 1890s, you owe it to yourself to go before this amazing place closes for good! This is a huge treasure in our own back yard and a must experience for all.
They even had a band in period clothing playing instruments from the day and singing songs you would have heard at gatherings way back when!
Do yourself a favor and make a point to take the short drive to White Settlement right off 820 at exit 5A (don't remember the street name lol) and test yourself to a piece of Texas history you'll probably never have the opportunity (especially for just $12) to see again! Go go go!

Considering that the museum is not funded by taxpayer's money, the diverse collection of artifacts from both sides is astonishing. Note that the museum will close permanently after October. Unlike most museums of its kind, the story of the war is told from the perspective of the rebels. The presentation is very organized, from introduction to how the tension brew before the war, branches of the military (infantry, cavalry and navy), to more focused battles fought by the Texans. Most artifacts were uniforms, weaponry and personal items of ordinary soldiers and officers. Learning about water mines and cannon balls is not something I expected from the visit. You can certainly appreciate the museum more if you have been to the national military park in Chattanooga because of the military figures and artifacts related to the battles in the region. The only complaint I have is the introductory movie. It is not a subject of debate that the Texan soldiers fought gallantly, but glorifying their participation in the war is beyond comprehension. They belong to a rebellious force to begin with, let alone nonsense such as 'answering the call to the country' and 'defending state right and constitution'. It is sad that ordinary men had to fight and die for the personal interest of the privileged (the relationship between Southern economy and slavery). Toward the end of visit you will find two impressive art pieces comprising numerous miniature figures depicting the battles fought on Texas soil near the end of war. Admission includes the section of Victorian dresses too.

The gift shop is very reasonably priced, even cheap. The sales person was very polite and showed me the replica swords and firearms. Highly recommend visiting, only a $7 Ticket.
My wife and I have driven past this museum for the past 3 years we have lived in the area and today we finally decided to visit. We were able to quickly buy tickets and enter the gallery. It was amazing how much historic memorabilia they have on display. The museum is separated with the North on the left and South on the right. Some of the highlights are a cigar smoked by US Grant and a pocket knife owned by General Lee. There are detailed explanations for every artifact and it was very informative. Even my wife, who is not a huge history buff had a great time. The end of the museum contains a gallery of historic dresses that could be their own museum. We were only there of about an hour, but could have spent much more time there. It is definitely worth taking the time to visit.
Our first time visiting and we loved it. We spent about 4 hours here. Everything is very well taken care of and clean. I highly recommend reading everything about the artifacts, they’re so cool. My favorite was the medical equipment they used to use for amputation, etc. please research their business hours before heading over. They’re closed on Sundays so we had to come back on a Saturday but totally worth it. I highly recommend it!!!
This is a great museum with many fascinating presentations and amazing artifacts. I highly recommend a visit. The cost is a very reasonable 7.00 and the tour is self-guided. Plan to spend about 90 minutes or so for the tour. There is a 30 min video that is good to watch before you begin. It provides the overview of the museum and the highlights the significant artifacts. Lots of incredible history in this museum, you won’t regret!

As American Airlines is my favourite airline. We had to visit the museum while in Fort Worth. The history of the airline was interesting. The 9/11 section was very moving.
Not a huge museum, but has lots of neat exhibits and artifacts. I really like the old tripod airplane than you can go inside and poke around. I was surprised how tricky it was to walk around due to the slant. There is also a 737 cockpit you can sit in, simulators to fly, and even a baggage hold where you can see how good a packing job you can do. There is also a well-air conditioned movie theater giving an overview of American Airlines' history and culture. Only tricky part is catching the museum when it's open so check operating hours before visiting.
Enjoyed going to this museum and seeing the airplanes upclose. I especially enjoyed be able to sit in a Super 80 cockpit and hearing the planes talk. They have a Lego expo going on right now that is really neat to see.
This is the place to go if you love aviation, or you just want to go somewhere and have fun, I love this museum, it has a real MD-80 plane cabin you can take a look inside, the flight simulator is something you should try also! Also there is a DC3 to take a look and it's great. And the history of aviation is just so interesting I spent at least an hour exploring the museum.
This museum is small, with an over priced entry fee, it is designed for school aged children, hands on interactive exhibits. You will go once but never go twice…. Save your money and forget about going, everything in the store is also over priced also….

I did not notice a lot of visitors that were present were American Airlines employees in corporate indoctrination tours. (I don't mean indoctrination in its commonly held negative sense. It is great to have a place to show a company's history and background.)
The layout remained essentially the same, but I didn't realize the expansion of the children's attractions to the existing foot print. I swore there more mannequins and artifacts on display and an airport layout right behind the engine cutaway. Also missing in the front entrance was the display of C.R. Smith's medals and accolades. The rump of his exhibit was placed in a single display case by the DC-3. On the other hand, weighing myself in numbers of chickens was quite entertaining.
The grounds were well maintained, although in need of a update. The theater is such a example. The retired beige seating dating back to the 1980's reminded me how roomy seating was back then. They also showed a what they referred to as "vintage" a 1990's film about the story of the airline. Both are sad reminders of how of how the American air travel experience has declined.
For the main attraction, the DC-3 was majestic as always. Although is quite a small plane, its presence cannot be denied. Access to the aircraft is to the back. You can literally smell the leather and metal inside the aircraft. It is definitely one should immerse oneself in and feel the history.
The museum is worth a visit, I just wish they found room to add back some the adult focused exhibits back in. They do have the room to do so.

I was at the amon Carter exhibit hall. Part of the campus. The zest fest fiery foods convention was held there. The staff i talked to was real nice and the facility was setup nicely. Clean bathroom,s and area. Easy access to the highway for travel.

Parking is ATROCIOUS and NOT disability friendly! Went to an event on 3/15/25 and was told the parking lot outside the Cattle Barns where the event was held was full. I am disabled, so I asked if it was closed even for handicapped parking and was told yes. Was then redirected across the street to that lot. Again asked about handicapped parking, and was told if there were any open, we'd see them. That lot didn't have ANY handicapped parking that I saw, and it was an extremely far walk from that lot to the Cattle Barns.
Worse, we passed MULTIPLE open handicapped parking spaces in amongst the scattered horse trailers and such parked every which way. And yes, they were parked over other handicapped spaces, which is illegal if they do not have handicapped plates and/or placards. Why do horse/cattle trailers need this upfront parking, when it should be open for disabled patrons? And why can these trailers park across multiple spots seemingly in any direction they want, including in the aisles? (see photo)
Events held at the center have no control over the parking situation. This is Will Rogers Center itself. I've included pictures of the open spots denied to me, and in the one with the arrow, I'm standing at the back of my vehicle in the lot we were made to park in, and that arrow is pointing to the building the event was in.
To make disabled patrons walk/wheelchair this far, *especially* when they have handicapped permits and handicapped spots are clearly marked in that lot is appalling. It made me want to turn around and go home, but I'd driven an hour to get to the event. I can only imagine how many other disabled people had to weigh that option themselves, and that's customers these events are possibly missing out on. AND we're paying $12 for parking, it's not like it's free.
So if you're disabled and going to Will Rogers for an event, be aware you may have to walk way farther than you planned, all while passing handicapped spots you could have and SHOULD have been able to utilize.

Always love visiting this venue. It is such an intimate setting for concerts. The sound is great! We sat in the balcony. Okay, let's talk seating -- which is the reason for the 3-star rating. If you're short and 120 pounds, you'll be comfortable in the seating; if you're not, bring some Vaseline and a crowbar because you'll need it to get in and out of the seats. My seat neighbor was alllll in my personal space, and I was in his. Wider seats and more personal space would greatly enhance the consumer experience. Great security presence. They were around if needed, but not in a way that was intrusive of the experience. Leaving the concert, there was only ONE GATE open for all patrons of this sold-out show to exit (from the auditorium to the parking lots). Can we please re-think this exit strategy? Overall, it was a good experience.

I’d visited years back but this time it seemed nicer, cleaner and much more sophisticated. There’s a small skating rink, (Christmas time) lots of photo ops, The vibe is definitely that of a Texas tourist must see spot. Everyone is dressed in western, cowboy attire. The longhorns show is nice but it only lasts like 5 minutes. The guy before the show who is hard to understand over the microphone talks longer. Get there early to get a “front row” spot. We stayed for the 4 pm show and it was very full and crowded. Over all good vibe, family friendly during the day. We left but I could tell the night life was getting very lively. We ate at Rick’s barbecue, the all you can eat ribs were delicious!

Amazing experience!! Lovely longhorn showing at 11am & 4pm daily with some history of the city. Amazing food (recommend brisket sandwich). Love how the stock yards are completely westerned out! It felt like I was in a movie. Plus a cute petting zoo and cool maze.

What a fun time. We got to see the longhorn cattle drive, which is always fun. There's plenty of parking and plenty of things to do that don't cost anything. The big disappointment was Billy Bob's. They wanted 4$ just to come in and look around. There wasn't any live music or anything going on. It was a cover charge to go in and see the store.
Had fun watching the cattle drive and taking the tour. It was very informative. We went on a chilly day which kept the crowds down allowing for a calmer day.
Going at night is definitly for partyers and drinkers unless you just like large crowds milling around aimlessly in the night. A real experience though.
I went in the afternoon. Beer wasn't any cheaper but no lines, I had all the choices open and was able to visit it all from BillyBobs to museums. It is a realistic glimpse into old Ft Worth without the pervasive edginess that went with being a western cowtown when you were wise to watch what you said and who you said it to.

The Tarrant County Courthouse, located in Fort Worth, is a historic landmark with a rich history dating back to its completion in 1895. Designed by the architecture firm of Frederick C. Gunn and Louis Curtiss, this Renaissance Revival style building is constructed from pink Texas granite and bears resemblance to the Texas State Capitol. It has been featured in popular media such as 'Walker, Texas Ranger.'
I enjoy visiting historic Texas courthouses and this is a great addition to my list. Beautiful architecture with lots of history. There's a 1 room "museum" to read about the city's history. There are memorial statues and historic markers outside.

This is a beautiful building with cool history all over the inside and out alongside regular business happenings. The 1895 room was an unexpected surprise full of cool stuff.
Beautifully designed courthouse reminiscent of the Texas Capitol Building. This striking edifice is gorgeous in every sense and no detail was overlooked in its design. If you like large courthouses, this is a can’t miss gem.
Security guard was friendly and let us know what things we could see while we were there. I enjoyed the architecture of the building and seeing the history displayed on each floor.
The whole call center is horrible, purposeful disconnections, useless transfers and then they blatantly hang up when you call back. The worst experience ive ever had with any "professional" establishment wnd they still didnt help with anything.
I witnessed one of the most wonderful sights today. American citizens coming together to support the Ukrainian people.

The Fort Worth Aviation Museum is a museum dedicated to military aviation and features a wide range of aircraft from jets to helicopters. The museum is located within the Meacham International Airport, which makes it a great place to visit if you're interested in aviation history. The summer can be pretty hot at the museum, so make sure to come early in the day if you want to avoid that.
The aviation museum is very informational and historical. There’s an outside section with aircrafts and an inside section with model plans and memorabilia. The aircraft’s are historic and some of them you can go inside!! We also did the Jeep ride and my kids enjoyed that part the most. The Jeep was 80yrs old and the wild shield wipers were manual! Very cool to see in person. It was nice to take the kids. They can freely walk around while looking at airplanes. The volunteers are very nice too. Great business all around.
I didn’t see food for sell when I went but you can buy water for $1 inside.

Had a great time at the Fort Worth Aviation Museum! They have a solid collection of fighter jets, bombers, and helicopters—especially impressive to see the YF-16 up close. The outdoor area is large and gives you the chance to get right next to many of the aircraft, which really adds to the experience. Inside, there's a building full of interesting artifacts and detailed models that aviation enthusiasts will appreciate. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that added a lot of depth to the visit. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!
Bought the tickets online for $10, printed out my ticket and presented at the front entrance “Admissions.” The Admissions place is where the gift shop is located, and as soon as you walk out of the entrance, you’re immediately pulled into the museum’s world. The place has so many artifacts from WWI, plane models, plane engines, photographs, aviation clothing, and the “Petting Zoo” which is full of military and Marine airplanes!
You can spend an hour or so at the museum because of how historical they have it. Highly recommend going early in the morning, to have a parking spot and enjoy the outside airplane viewings. Best place to visit for those who are into planes and military history!
This was a FANTASTIC museum. The models inside were great, but the real stars are outside, and you can get closer than anywhere else we've ever been. It's a petting zoo for aviation! You can touch the actual planes! Our volunteer was AMAZING and had actually flown the machine he showed us, he just knew everything about these planes. My son was in seventh heaven and this might have been about the best birthday trip ever. They also have informative signs with QR codes at each plane to give you so much information about each exhibit. They have a plane that George Bush Sr actually flew, and a helicopter that helped evacuate Americans from Vietnam. They have simulators inside and a cool little gift shop. We will absolutely come back and visit again, this was great!
Took my husband for our anniversary and he loved it! Got to sit inside a cockpit, got a custom tour from Erik, retired military pilot, who was very informative and so nice. We loved seeing all the old planes and helicopters and learning about all the mechanics and technical aspects that pilots handle.
My husband and I throughly enjoyed our visit! There are many amazing war birds on display including the number 2 F-16 test plane. In addition to the great aircraft, what sets this museum apart is the knowledgeable and dedicated guides. Our guide Buster took his time and shared his knowledge and expertise as a Vietnam veteran and retired aviation industry employee. His attention to our visit was greatly appreciated and made the visit more enjoyable! It will definitely be worth your time to visit so don't hesitate to stop by!
The Fort Worth Aviation Museum is a must-see for aviation fans. The wooden A-12 Avenger II mockup is incredibly rare—it's kept under cover to preserve it, which is understandable but a bit of a pity since it's such a unique design. Also great to see an F-16 on display in the city where it was built. Small museum, big history!
Lots of fun to be had! Tons of great vintage planes and helicopters to look at. The staff is knowledgeable and very nice. It's well worth the visit.

Originally crafted by George E. Kessler for Anne Burnett, the park boasts lush green spaces and a playground that kids adore.
Took my kids here and they loved it! Even my teenager. There’s a rope jungle gym for kids and they had a blast playing on it. The park is very clean with tables and chairs for you to sit at. Also an outside bean bag toss game. It’s beautiful and peaceful. You do have to pay for a parking meter to visit this place. The FW Park app is easy to use and parking is very reasonable. There’s also one of those library boxes where you take a book for free

Such a cool escape right in the middle of downtown! I love all the seating they have spread around. Parking is easy right off the street or a surface lot. Great place for relaxing in downtown and catching some vitamin d.

We had a fantastic day at the park! It’s easy to reach and there are plenty of parking spaces, which made our arrival really smooth. When we visited, it wasn’t very crowded, so we didn’t have to wait long for any of the rides – a big plus!
The attractions themselves are excellent – everything looked well-maintained and fairly new. There’s something for every age group, from little kids to thrill-seekers looking for a serious adrenaline rush. The park really offers a great mix of fun for everyone.
We absolutely loved our time there and would definitely recommend it. The overall experience, especially considering the price, is excellent value for money.

This is a very cool park, I was so excited to visit since it's the original six flags park. a few rides were closed like the train and observation tower, but the rest of the park was open and running well. They have a nice assortment of coasters and other rides, and although I had a little trouble finding my way around the park, I did manage to ride everything that I planned to. The park was clean, I felt safe and the employees were great during my visit. I enjoyed it very much.
We had a great time at Six Flags! The rides were awesome, and the overall atmosphere was full of energy and fun. Definitely a place where thrill-seekers can have a blast.
That said, a few things could have been better planned for. Some of the more popular rides had wait times up to an hour, which slowed down our day a bit — wish we’d known that ahead of time so we could have prioritized better.
Also, the food prices inside the park were quite expensive, which caught us off guard. We ended up stepping out for about an hour to grab lunch elsewhere, which worked out okay but took time away from the park.
Lastly, it would be really helpful if there were more public water fountains especially on a hot day. Staying hydrated shouldn't be so difficult!
Overall, we still had a wonderful day full of memories, just recommended to come prepared!
We had a great time! Lines to get in were quick but the ride lines were all about an hour or longer. We got the membership though so we came the next day for the last night of fright fest. I love the membership option! I'm glad I get to experience the park with my kids like I did with my dad. I do miss the old show at the Blackburn Theater. I always wanted to sing and dance so watching the performers was always my favorite. This year's show was called Toxicity I think. It was more acrobatic but not what I hoped for. Amazing skills none the less. The trampoline skeletons were my favorite lol Can't wait for Holiday in the Park.
I took my boys here for a day on our way back home to Phoenix from Arkansas. I hadn’t been to six Flags since 1996, so my expectations were low based on what I hear people say about the Six Flags brand. Unfortunately, those people are usually comparing six flags to Disneyland. It’s just not a fair comparison. Six Flags Over Texas is a great one day theme park when you factor in the price. We paid $150 for three tickets plus my two year old, which is a third of the cost of Disneyland. The unlimited drink cup is an absolute blessing that every theme park needs to adopt. I was extremely happy with the amount of family/kid friendly rides at the park. That was a big concern for me with smaller children. We spent about six hours in the park on a Monday and rode probably twenty rides total. Early in the week is Devin the way to go. I really wish Six Flags would open a park I. The Phoenix Metro area. We would be frequent customers for sure (Hurricane Harbor doesn’t count).
I'm never disappointed at Six Flags! JBs Smokehouse is always amazing! The decor was nicely done for Fright Fest as well. They handing out candy to the little ghouls trick or treating. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We heaven saw Bugs Bunny, Tweetie, Sylvester and Daffy Duck! We had a fantastic time! Definitely going back again!

We had a great time here for fright fest! The actors took their roles very serious but still took the time out to do photos and videos with everyone. The family really enjoyed the stage shows as well as the rides and haunted houses. It was our first fright fest and we'll definitely be back!

A great place to visit especially if you’re a history buff and are in the area. A memorial and testament to JFK complete with a statue, thoughtful explanation for the memorial, photos and inscriptions of his words like “A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on” and "we celebrate the past to awaken the future". One of my favourite components is the copy of his signature engraved into the memorial.

A really well done memorial that offers a spot to reflect on one of the greater tragedies in American history. The memorial is located in the middle of the city near the convention center, but the space still manages to be quiet and reflective. There are some excerpts from some of his speeches and a brief little write-up on how Fort Worth played a part in the JFK assassination. The memorial is adjacent to the old Hotel Texas where he stayed the morning of the fateful day, which is now the Hilton. Definitely worth a quick stop if you are walking through downtown.

I was staying in the city and thought it would be a stoic place to visit and I was right. It was 7am and it was absolutely quiet with only city workers in the area. Not a scrap of paper, a leaf or any other debris at this memorial. A city worker had just come through to ensure it was pristine.
I was able to read each inscribed marble stone and even sit for a moment. It was peaceful and reading the inscriptions in today’s times, really made me think about how much we could benefit from a man like JFK now.
If you are staying local, take a few minutes, get a coffee or a baked item, sit and enjoy the scene and the peace before the hustle and bustle of the day.
That Texas heat was something, the asphalt was literally melting. I saw the library too where the sniper hid. Interesting but tragic history. First time I had alligator meat too, it was pretty tasty and good.
My dog and I go several times a week on our walks. It's surrounded by two parks and sits just north of the convention center on cobblestone Main Street.

The Fort Worth Convention Center offers a vast 250,000 square feet of exhibit space, along with 60,000 square feet for meetings and a sizable 28,160 square-foot ballroom. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Omni Hotel and the Fort Worth Water Gardens. Visitors praise its spaciousness and cleanliness, as well as its proximity to nearby attractions. However, some have noted issues with vending machines and occasional leaks during inclement weather.
Attended the TDEM conference in Fort Worth for the first time this year. All staff at the Fort Worth Convention Center where incredibly friendly and working around the clock to keep everything going at our conference. Food was absolutely amazing that was served at lunch time and in the concession area. I added a few photos from the arena where two of our large events were held during the conference

Came here for the Southwest Believers Conference with Kenneth Copeland Ministries from 27July to 2August 2025. Well setup and in good shape for an older venue. Great time and place.
Pool table and bar looked lively. Very Large breakfast area suggests a large hotel. Arrived very late. Modern decor is sprinkled with images or the essence of USA Texas. Room was already cooled and clean.
Great space for events, but I wish there were benches to sit in the open area. Our room took a minute to cool off. Oh, and be prepared to pay $4 for a bottle of soda... didn't see a snack machine, though. 🤷🏾♀️
We attended the 2025 Tiger Rock National Championship. The staffs were kind. I love the concession stands! It’s amazing to be able to grab a bite without having to leave the premises.

The Convention Center in Fort Worth is really nice. It is spacious, clean, and well organized.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They are interested in everyone having a successful conference, exhibit, or show.
My daughter attended a week long national conference for CW (Customer Service) a week or so ago. The seating was comfortable, and the acoustics were good. There was food available for everyone provided by the Center.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and hoped to go again next year.
The best part of the CC is that it is centrally located and close to restaurants, shopping, exhibits, and hotels. She was able to walk to and from the Sheraton each day. The water gardens are walking distance also. She said she had a great time.
Attended the Texas Department of Emergency Management convention. Staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service has been the same 2 years in a row for me and have no doubt that they will continue to hold that standard going forward. (Picture is of the view from the 9th Street Entrance)

As an Air Force veteran and OU alumna, attending the Armed Forces Bowl at Carter Stadium was an incredibly meaningful experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate this special event.
First off, Carter Stadium is a top-notch facility that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The ADA parking was impressively convenient, with plenty of spaces close to the entrances and friendly staff to assist. For anyone needing accessibility, this stadium ensures a stress-free experience, which is a huge plus.
Once inside, the atmosphere was electric! The stadium design ensures excellent views from every seat, making it easy to feel immersed in the action. The crowd’s energy, combined with the recognition of our armed forces, created an atmosphere that was both thrilling and deeply moving.
And let’s talk about the food—Bobby’s Fajitas was a standout! Their fajitas were fresh, flavorful, and loaded with perfectly seasoned meat and vibrant toppings. It’s not every day you find stadium food that rivals some of the best restaurants, but Bobby’s delivered in every way. It added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fantastic event.
Overall, Carter Stadium provided an exceptional experience, from its accessibility to its amenities and the incredible way it honors our service members. If you ever get the chance to attend an event here, especially one as meaningful as the Armed Forces Bowl, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed!

Since I was born and raised in Ft. Worth, TX with the Horned Frogs right down the street, TCU is home. We don't live in Ft. Worth any longer, but when my son received the game invite we drove back "home" without hesitation. The layout of the stadium is great and with the huge jumbotrons you can literally see what's happening on the field as though you're on it. This is a huge plus if you're not able to get seats in the lower level. The stadium is large, it holds approx 47k people, but that southern hospitality, warm smiles, fist bumps with total strangers, and seeing everyone wearing the same color makes you feel like you're at a family reunion in your backyard. The stadium is wheelchair accessible, there are bathrooms near each sections with countless stalls. That's another plus, having numerous stalls eliminates long waiting lines. Another thing I noticed was, they have mobile food & beverage vendors located closer to the entryway of the sections if you wanna grab a quick snack. That also cuts down on long lines for the stationery vendors like Chicken Express etc. They also have a free shuttle service that runs 6 hours before the game, throughout, and an after the game ends. So if you're one who hates driving in game traffic, now you don't have to...hop on the shuttle at Doxology Bible Church on Hulen St and go support the Horned Frogs!! 💜🤍💜

How big and beautiful Amon G. Carter Stadium really is, especially the great thing is, you could come inside the stadium and look around.
The fan experience at Amon G. Carter Stadium is definitely a positive one. From where we were sitting everyone was nice and friendly without having to deal with super drunk fans. They also brought out a drone show which was a really cool experience to see which not many stadiums and colleges even do. The viewing experience was also great from the seats and would definitely do this again!

Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth offers a unique entertainment experience with outdoor double features and a large concession area serving local brews. It's a popular spot for families, providing a playground for kids to enjoy before the movie and during intermission. The drive-in also stands out with its full-service restaurant, bowling alley, and video arcade, making it an all-encompassing entertainment destination.
Really great experience for being my first time visiting the Coyote Drive-In Theatre in Fort Worth. The gates open at 6:00pm and the front booth person will guide you to where you to the auditorium where the movie will be showing (color coded auditoriums.) The front booth employee was welcoming and gave me a laugh!
I recommend going here early so you can get the good parking spot. I came here 3 hours ahead to experience the place and walk around (retro gaming booths, outdoor games, dog park, & food trucks), nice place to enjoy the outdoors while watching the Fort Worth city landscape. To listen to the movie you’ll need to tune into radio station FM 103.5 (auditorium 2.) Buy ticket online and present at ticket booth for scanning, it’ll help make the process smooth from arriving to heading to the auditorium.
Parking did get packed closer to movie time and spots were being taken quickly. So I recommend going earlier than the recommended 90 minutes (for good parking.) Remember to turn off your headlights, break lights, and any lamps that can be distracting and/blocking the cars around you. Restrooms were very very clean and there’s a fan to keep the place cool.

Awesome spot. Amazing views of the city at night. Very family oriented. Clean restroom area. They rent radios but we brought our own ( who wants to leave their car on for 2+ hours? )
Only complaint is that the screen is not very bright. Even with zero sunlight and totally dark out – night scenes are basically not watchable. That's the only reason why I deduct a star.
But other than that we will continue to bring our family here!
Took my son to see Elio and it wasn't a bad experience. The staff was professional, they have a little play area for the kids and a live performance until the movie got started. The set up was different a screen in front and a screen in the back and everyone was respectful with their headlights so didn't have a problem on this day. I plan on visiting again in the future.
The experience is great. Fun things for the kids to do while waiting for the movie. The food is good and reasonably priced. The crowd was polite. The view is great. Glad Fort Worth has been able to keep it going.

The concession stand is a highlight. Fresh popcorn, solid pizza, cold drinks, and fair prices. The food arrives fast, even on busy nights. The outdoor seating area near the stand adds a relaxed, social atmosphere.
The place is spotless. Bathrooms are clean. Trash is picked up regularly. It’s clear the staff takes pride in maintaining the space.
The pricing is strong value. You get a double feature for less than most single movie tickets in theaters. Families, couples, and groups all fit in easily.
The vibe is laid-back and fun. You can stay in your car or set up chairs outside without any pressure.
Five stars for smooth operations, excellent picture quality, great food, and a setting that brings movie nights to life.
Excellent place, you'll find food, entertainment for kids, and excellent movies to come with the family and enjoy a movie outdoors. I really recommend this place.

This experience was amazing! The setup was wonderful, technology was perfect and worked flawlessly, and everything about the concessions area was next level great! The only issue we had was our kid wanted a snow cone and that specific booth was closed. The food was good however our only suggestion would be to add more butter.
