The Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel is a luxurious accommodation located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. The hotel offers upscale amenities including a casual restaurant, bar lounge, and a 24-hour fitness center. Guests can enjoy contemporary and elegant rooms with opulent art deco details and chic black-and-white accents, along with large windows offering skyline views of nearby attractions.
I would strongly recommend this hotel, the decor, but most importantly, the staff are excellent. The valet Person was excellent and equally such was the front desk gentleman with the Scottish type hat. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and Very friendly and accommodating. I only mention this because I used to own some hotel residences At a five star hotel, and the professionalism of this gentleman along with the restaurant staff as well as the concierge lady was so refreshing to see Quality Service. The rooms are extremely comfortable and I strongly recommend people take advantage of the concierge‘s lounge type level since the quality is superb. We look forward to coming back here longer trips. We’re here three nights, and we really are looking forward to enjoying our short stay.

The hotel is absolutely phenomenal and probably the best in town. Looking for a clean hotel - you don’t need to look further - book The Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel. They have newly renovated rooms and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel presentation speaks for itself and and experience at this property will make you want to come back!!! The service is absolutely amazing and it’s a prime location in the center of many different things downtown!

My daughter and I had an incredible stay at the Renaissance. We traveled from Columbus & had ease of booking thanks to the front desk receptionists Jontee and Raine. They were so patient, informative and kind. Got a chance to meet the general manager he was also very accommodating and friendly. The entire hotel was clean and beautiful. The location was perfect for our concert venue. The view was also amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

The hotel is very nice old style. The rooms were big with good decor. The beds and pillows were very soft and not supportive. The bathroom was real nice with the sliding class doors and stand up only shower. The sink are was very poorly lit. When you stood in front of the mirror at the sink, you can barely see any light on your face just a little on the back of your head because of where the ceiling light was and the mirror itself had no light facing you. The restaurant and bar both had magnificent food, drinks and superior service. The front desk service was very poor. I had trouble checking in, trouble with the building by a third-party and trouble checking out. Two of the attendants, were very professional, and were apologetic and helped with the situation but several of the people I interacted with at the front desk appeared to be new, or just not very well trained. Rideshare was double going from the hotel, back to the airport then it was coming from the airport to the hotel.

We had a group of six for a 21st Birthday weekend. There was an issue with our booking source double booking and we got booked here last minute to fix the booking sources mistake. I called the hotel directly to make sure the reservation went through properly. And I spoke to Josh, who was absolutely amazing. The booking source had merged our names together and somehow separated our two rooms in the reservations making it difficult to initially locate our reservations. Josh fixed everything! He was patient and thoughtful. The birthday girl was surprised with a piece of cake and bottle of wine. He also gave her a suite with an adjoining room so there was room and beds for the whole party. To be clear, this hotel did not create this issues we had, it was all the booking source. But Josh went over and above to make the weekend wonderful!! Then the first night, Thomas at the front desk was super helpful and offer some options for a lowkey evening. The whole party had not arrived so they were just looking for dinner and a drink. Every interaction was positive. I would absolutely stay here again!

I was in town for a conference and opted to stay at this location over the hotel the conference was held out in part to accrue Bonvoy nights before the end of the year. The hotel was a great mix of maintaining the charm of the historic building while having modernized rooms. The rooms were a fairly stark white which did mean scuffs and scrapes were very visible, but upon arrival everything was very clean. The valet service was excellent as well and the location is perfect if you are going to be in the downtown area - it was walkable to most places I need to be and I only needed my car for sightseeing farther away. There were some great food choices nearby and the hotel restaurant offered 1,000 Bonvoy points when you spend $30 in the on-site restaurant. The only downside was the lack of consistent housekeeping. I was there for 5 nights and housekeeping only made it to my room twice. The second time, I had to call the front desk 5 times to get someone sent up. I was spending 8 - 10 hours out of my room, coming back well after 3pm to a room still unmade. The reason I had to be adamant about someone coming up the second time was that I was out of towels, the bed linens were untucked (and too tight for me to do myself) and I had amassed quite a bit of trash since the last visit. At first, I was super happy with the response. The front desk said head out for about 45 minutes and grab lunch and when you get back it'll be done because I'm sending someone up right now. Wonderful. Except I cam back an hour later to no one having come. I called again and someone was sent up, but they could not tell me how long it would be which was frustrating when I had just come back from being gone for so long. It the housekeeping setup had been more efficient or better articulated, this would be a 5 star rating.

A stay bad enough I feel compelled to leave a review. While the staff was lovely and accommodating, the state of this hotel is far below my expectations for a Marriott, let alone Renaissance property. To say the entire property is in need of some TLC and attention to detail is an understatement. My room had sheets on inside out, multiple pillowcases that were stained or had holes. The sheets were like sandpaper. Carpet throughout the hallways was riddled with loose strings or edges coming up. The staff was incredibly helping trying to make up for or address some of the issues but given it was a one night stay there was little to be done.
Phoebe G — Google review
Will not returning to this establishment. Was charged an additional $65 2 weeks after our stay, requested a bill over a week ago it took multiple phone calls for them to actually send me my bill. To my surprise someone charged $65 in room service to our bill that wasn't us! Very unprofessional and shady business practices. We always have enjoyed Marriott hotels as we are reward members but unfortunately will take our business to other hotels. 👎🏼

Graduate Cincinnati is a quirky, brightly coloured and artsy hotel with a Euro-American restaurant that overlooks UCs campus. It has an exercise room and free area shuttle.
Just came home from overnight stay at Graduate by Hilton. It was great. The staff is gracious and kind- from reception to restaurants to check out. Rooms, lobby, all areas super clean. Dinner at Fiona was great (cocktails exactly as I requested). Breakfast was served perfectly. Will stay there anytime we return to Cincinnati.
Mara M — Google review
The hotel is super fun themed, lots of unique decor. It is very close to the zoo only a 2-3 minute drive. You do have to pay for parking and have to park in a garage and then take an elevator to the lobby and then take another elevator to the rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom wasn’t as clean there were hairs on the towels hanging up and the conditioner in the shower was empty. Overall is was a good stay there’s a fitness center available and the it is in a location convenient to a lot to do in Cincinnati.
Kelsey H — Google review
Eclectic decor. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Only one washer and dryer. Gym is above average for size and equipment. Hot shower with high water pressure. On site restaurant and bar is well equipped. Rooms and hallways are quiet and safe. Garage is well lit and easily accessible for self park. Front desk has detergent and toiletries to purchase, in case you forget yours. Fridge and microwave available in room. You have to tetris food to get it in the fridge, its a tiny thing. Beds are soft. Pillows are big and fluffy. My down star is that I ran out of TP and kleenex, and I called to let the desk know so they could my room to the list for a full clean. Nobody ever came. I called again the next day and someone came. But it was annoying to run to the gym to get TP. Property only has one washer and one dryer so you have to stalk it to use it sometimes. Dryer is broken and wont cost anything, but it will run for hours (keep an eye so your clothes dont shrink in there). Washer is $1.50 - quarters only. ATMs don't work so great over here so pack quarters from home if you plan to wash. Interesting and amusing decor. ******Edited to add that my shower had a hairy brown bug in it this morning- unsettling and gross. Called front desk and they added my room to the maintenance list. Watch your step if you stay here.

Very spacious and clean rooms that provide a different take on decor. We were only here for one night on a quick trip to Cincinnati, but the hotel was perfect. Beds were comfortable but felt a slight bit small. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely come back.
CJ — Google review
A little weird decorations for the hotel but FANTASTIC kitchen and bar. They make great fresh food and keep the beer flowing. Enjoyed my stay here and nice proximity to the university and the zoo.
Alex — Google review
The was our first stay at the Graduate in Cincinnati. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town. Alissa at the front desk was not only welcoming but very personable and kind. We stayed in the presidential suite which was beautiful. The bed in the pull out couch was just as comfortable as our bed itself. We loved having two bathrooms/ showers in the room. Fiona’s was a perfect place to grab a cocktail and our son loved the pool table as well. It was a great end to our night.
Lisa B — Google review
This is a cool looking Hotel. But that’s only the nice thing I can say. It’s so dusty and dirty rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I wish I could share pictures.
Vickie R — Google review
I chose this hotel because of all the amazing comments and people raving about how clean it was. I got to my room and loved the design and the room itself seems very clean. Two hours later, I decided to move the window curtain and there was the biggest roach I’ve ever seen in my life crawling on the wall behind it. I didn’t even know roaches could get this big. They have a huge infestation problem. Do not go here!

Extended stay hotel
Nestled in the heart of Cincinnati, the Kinley Cincinnati Downtown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a stunning blend of historic charm and modern sophistication. Housed in a beautifully restored 1910 building, this chic hotel features stylish accommodations that often showcase captivating city views. Guests can indulge in delightful culinary experiences at the acclaimed Khora restaurant or unwind with craft cocktails at the lively Exchange cafe and bar.
Very clean, unique hotel in a great location. Good value and would certainly stay here again. The front desk gentleman was funny and very helpful. The bartender was nice and I'm not sure if they were new or just didn't know what they were doing but they were super slow making patrons drinks and my old fashioned tasted more like a shot of fireball than any old fashioned I'd ever had. That being said, I would stay here again and had a good experience during my stay.
Derek P — Google review
We booked a room here for a pit stop on our way south for our anniversary trip, and we will definitely be back! Getting to the valet parking was tricky at first (probably because the location is downtown Cincy and Jazz Fest was also happening, so roads were closed, and roads were traffic jammed but we eventually found the way.) Check-in was smooth, and both the parking attendants and the front of the house were very accommodating. The size of the room (corner suite) is great for a downtown hotel, and we loved the comfort of the bed and the large shower. We had a corner room with lots of windows, and it was great, BUT the windows definitely need to be cleaned, and the sills need dusting. We will recommend this hotel and stay here again!
Wendy S — Google review
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Kinley Cincinnati in August. The entire staff was an outstanding, kind team. The hotel is chic and the location is perfect! We walked to wonderful restaurants, the Reds ballpark and strolled along the riverfront. Deonte at the front desk and Mr. Gordon, were most attentive to every need. When in Cincinnati, treat yourself to this wonderful stay!
Gerry L — Google review
If you step foot in this hotel without looking like an old rich white person, you will might be interrogated by staff as to why you are there. Not being dramatic, my friend had the same experience in the lobby. This happened despite the fact that our best friend, the groom, had a block of rooms under his name for his wedding. Definitely go stay at the Hilton or the Hyatt. Way cheaper and not one of these phony boutique hotels like Kinley
John — Google review
Our stay at the Kinley was mostly uneventful, nothing wowed us but it was a nice enough room to come back to at the end of the day. Our nightmare began in the days after we left when we realized our prepaid room had been charged to us a second time. It has been two months of phone calls and emails and no resolution. The alleged sales manager and/or finance director and/or insert new title this week Galen Gordon either doesn’t exist or is thoroughly and completely ignoring our requests for information, much less restitution at this point. Though we have had nice enough front desk employees speak to us and give us information and look into our issue, they always have to refer us to Galen to get our issue sorted out. Only problem is that when you call and leave a message, he doesn’t return them. When you email him, he doesn’t respond. And then when you continue to email him on all three of the different addresses that have been given to us by other employees, at some point they start to bounce back. Calling the Kinley is like a black hole of absurdity, and we’re out $1000 still because whoever is actually running this hotel is hiding in an office, never actually on site or refusing to take customer calls. Smells like fraud at this point to me and will be elevating as high up as I can find within the Marriott Bonvoy world. Don’t get ripped off like we did, and stay somewhere nicer, not worth the money even without these additional hassles.
Alison D — Google review
We had an outstanding experience at the Kinley Hotel in Cincinnati! Deante met us at the door, checked us in and couldn’t have left a better “first impression.” He was kind and very pleasant. My husband and I had one room and my 91 year old mother had another room. Deante was able to get us rooms next to each other which we greatly appreciated. Karol, Nelson and Gabby made our stay wonderful!! They were super accommodating - anticipating our needs in the restaurant and bar. They were very friendly and provided us with information we needed to maneuver the city for our nephew’s rehearsal dinner and wedding. They were definitely a great team! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I felt like we were at a high end hotel in New York City!
Sherry G — Google review
Worst hotel experience I have had. I paid around $350 a night for 3 nights. The front desk was hardly there, the bartender was never behind the bar, and it smells like moth balls. The pictures look nice but it’s not. On my way out, I couldn’t reach the front desk to get my car to head to the airport by app or by phone. When I went down there to talk to the valet, he was in his car smoking. The night valet was nice but avoid this hotel. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Collier O — Google review
Tiny tiny room. I could barely wheel my luggage cart in. The bed and pillows were weirdly uncomfortable. I was disappointed, especially considering my Titanium status. Upon checking in it was so loud with DJ music in the lobby I couldn’t communicate with to the person assigning my room; they had a singles night going on that was shaking the walls. That noise spilled onto the streets and the halls until the wee hours so zero sleep. I would never revisit this hotel. Super disappointed because I thought I booked the nicest place in town.

Eden Park, located in the historic Mt. Adams neighborhood of Cincinnati, is a sprawling 186-acre public park offering a variety of attractions for visitors. The park features gardens, walking paths, and scenic views of the Ohio River and northern Kentucky. It is home to the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Krohn Conservatory, which houses several large greenhouses showcasing over 3,500 plant species.
A beautiful place to visit. So much wonderful foliage in pretty displays and it is affordable as well. (Adult price $10) They have a butterfly house you can enter, too. Some advice if you decide to visit the butterflies - wear pink or red, it attracts them. You are not given any nectar to attract them to you, so I would suggest wearing some kind of citrus or lavender scent for an added experience. Have fun!

Eden Park is one of most popular and well known parks in Cincinnati. The amazing views are just one of many attractions. It also has numerous walking paths that meander throughout this beautiful park. There is also a conservatory, Mirror Lake and a recreation area. There is also much more to see and do.
RJD — Google review
This park was absolutely beautiful. Eden is the perfect name. Everything is perfectly maintained, the grounds are immaculate and there is plenty to do There are nature paths, stunning views and lots of historical art pieces. The playgrounds are also art pieces that you can play on. If you are in town give yourself a few hours to see everything.

Nice park. Picnic tables and shelters available. We had kids in the car that needed to burn off some energy and it's right off I-75. Playground equipment has zip line, climbing tower, swings, slides. Some kids were a bit over bearing and inconsiderate, foul language, pouring water down the slides. Clean bathrooms, so it's a good stop for breaking up a long drive.

Symphony Hotel & Vivaldi's Restaurant is a charming boutique hotel located in the revitalized neighborhood of Over the Rhine, Cincinnati. The hotel boasts a music-themed decor and is filled with antiques, offering guests a unique and elegant atmosphere. The upscale New American dining at Vivaldi's Restaurant provides a delightful culinary experience for visitors. Situated across from Music Hall, the hotel is perfect for those looking to enjoy an evening of music or events at Washington Park.
We were looking for a romantic date night and ended up booking a reservation for Vivaldi’s! It was delicious and the jazz lounge atmosphere was perfect. The lazy was lovely and food was out of this world. The meatballs left my date and I speechless. Everything we got to eat was so delicious and filled with flavor. We also got some of their signature cocktails as well and they came quick and were creative and different but so good. The staff was awesome and accommodating. We ordered cookie butter gelato for dessert (which I can’t stop thinking about btw) and the staff brought it out with a candle in it for our anniversary which was super sweet. We will be back!!

I haven't stayed there yet but I did make a reservation. This is just to warn everyone else before you do make a reservation... They charge a $50 cancelation fee if you cancel your reservation which frankly I find very lame but it is there at the bottom of their policy on their website. So... make damn sure you actually want to stay here before making the reservation because after reading some of the reviews about this place and seeing the prices of other hotels in the area I would have canceled immediately. I can understand if someone canceled the day of or within three days or so but applying this fee for someone who wants to cancel a month out seems like extortion. I may just cancel anyway... and let them keep the $50. I am not feeling like spending the rest of money with a company that does this. Frankly, I find it really irritating and it's not a great foot to start off on with a business if you are going to be using their services. EDIT: In response to your response. It's actually not standard. There are lots of places that do not charge a cancellation fee a month out. If airbnb can offer free cancellations up to a couple days before my arrival date for a room in someone's home - then I am mystified at the reason that you are unable to. This is an onboarding issue... and you are making the common mistake of irritating your customers before they ever walk through your front door. Not a good impression to start with.. When onboarding a customer it's important to make it as easy and as convenient as possible. If you feel like you need to charge someone $50 to keep their reservation a month out when you are in a prime location and are such a highly rated hotel - something is amiss. Either you aren't offering enough value with your product or service - and cant fill your 9 rooms, or this isn't about losing money due to a cancellation - like for instance - it's another stream of income for you to make off people without having to do anything. So, no I am not taking this down. And Secondly, if you aren't going to refund my money, then you just got $50 of bad advertising and I just dodged a bullet.

We had an amazing stay, and Worley was very hospitable. The hotel itself is extremely unique with a lot of art and architectural detail. The furnishings are thoughtful and beautiful (I appreciated that there are even chandeliers in the garage, very funny and cute!). There are tons of businesses, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, so you couldn't ask for a better location.

If you need a hotel in Cincinnati and you don’t stay here, you will miss out. This place is beautiful - a romantic old building that has been cherished and updated. The rooftop patio is clean and comfortable and private. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean, and convenient. The restaurant is crowded on the weekends, so plan ahead and get a reservation. The service is excellent, and the rates are reasonable. All this, and your car will be safe in a garage lit by chandeliers. Thank you!

Bedroom was extremely hot with only one air conditioner to cool down the room. Bedsheets were like tissue paper on the top side, so very rough. Comfortable bed, clean, and beautiful room. Toilet was not connected to the floor, which was concerning. Me and my father shared the rachmaninoff room for context. The biggest problem though was the fact that our car, and another car were broken into with the window shattered. The staff tried their best to help us clean up the cars and get everything back into place. Other than letting us stay as late as it took to get things cleaned up, and a trash bag to cover the missing window, there was no other compensation. If the car wasn't broken into, I would say it to be a four star stay. Lovely atmosphere, amazing restaurant, great staff. -Edit, they did compensate by subtracting $50 from our total bill. The window took $400 dollars to replace.

Such a cool old building, so nicely decorated. Late 1800s architecture, 4 meter ceilings, antique furnishings. And a great restaurant downstairs. Importantly, the price fits my budget. This whole neighborhood is in the process of becoming quite trendy. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to Cincinnati

This boutique hotel is a piece of art from the lobby to the rooms. Check in was easy. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Parking garage is worth the extra money if you want high security parking. Located centrally.
Dave B — Google review
No one ever showed up to check us in. This is especially annoying because the hotel texted me asking what time I'd arrive, and I gave an (accurate) 30-minute window for our arrival, even though we were driving 350 miles that day before arriving. Showed up in our arrival window, and there was not a single person anywhere in the hotel (I checked). Texted the hotel and was told the manager was in traffic 10 minutes away. Waited 15 minutes in the empty hotel, texted asking where she was, and she said she was still eight minutes away? Like, I get it, things happen, but at least be honest about the fact that you're going to be 30 minutes late for our arrival? So unprofessional, especially when it seems like I cared a lot more about being a courteous guest (and arriving promptly) than they cared about being a host.

The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza is a historic art deco hotel located in the heart of Cincinnati. It offers over 140 luxurious guest rooms and suites, featuring amenities such as roman tubs, fireplaces, and balconies. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's fitness room and nearby attractions like the Great American Ballpark. The hotel is part of the Carew Tower Complex, an iconic Art Deco architectural landmark in downtown Cincinnati.
Beautiful hotel. Service was great and had no complaints except room service got our order wrong twice and we had to wait almost an hour between each delivery. Bathroom was a little small in the room but that makes sense since it's an old building. It was right downtown with a beautiful view of the river. Within walking distance of a lot of food, shops, and entertainment. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Excellent location and great view of the river. Art deco decor - in the lobby has a nice touch. Front desk staff-Tanesha and Carter were awesome! Very courteous and professional. Cons: Room was very spacious-however, it was musty and dusty!! OMG! Very lukewarm water in bathroom, sink faucet leaked, flat bed pillows-had to use pillows from the other bed just to get comfortable. Rooms could definitely use a serious refresh. Would not stay there again.

What a gem this hotel is! We arrived at about the same time all the baseball fans were trying to check in and the staff was very helpful. The doorman gave us the rundown on what to expect and some pointers to make things go smoothly. The desk was short staffed but handled everyone with respect, professionalism, and didn’t rush anyone through, making sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and fit in nicely with the aesthetic of the hotel. What an amazing history this place has! We spent almost two hours checking out the displays, reading the signs, and enjoying the atmosphere. I love the corridor with all the salons- each doorway has a different architectural style with a sign explaining what it is. It felt like a museum! I won’t say it is haunted, but you could definitely feel the past grandeur of the spaces and easily imagine what the place was in all of its glory. I really wish we could have seen the hall of mirrors!

It's beautiful but I was stuck on an elevator with my 3 yo daughter. When I went to tell the lady at the desk about this she told me, Well things just happen sometimes. It really upset me. My diamond account revied no points for the visit. They also took my deposit. I'm a diamond member with Hilton. I feel like she intentionally stole my deposit for absolutely no reason. I have never not received my deposit back. I paid $600 for my room to have a good time with my kid. I will never return. She made me feel uncomfortable to even walk through the lobby. I will be reporting her today. They also charged me around $100 just to park at the hotel over my stay. Do not ever go to a gas station near downtown. Reminded me of the hood in Chicago. If you look up the gas stations their photos are of shooting and police. I will never stay downtown Cincinnati again. Also, my sheet had a stain and multiple holes in the sheet. The plastic to the air-conditioner was hanging off the wall. There was liquid on the walls. Ive never stayed at such a nasty Hilton in my life. It's beautiful outside the room. That's about it. Horrible experience

The hotel and lobby definitely feels like you stepped into a time machine. Done up with art deco, like the empire state building. I love how they try to preserve its historic charm! The location is excellent also, walkable to a lot of Cincy attractions. Where it lacks is in the rooms themselves, Old, banged up, needing some TLC. I've stayed in many Hiltons around the country and this one probably needs the most work. Found stained sheets, blankets, and mattresses that made my wife and I change rooms 3 times. The front desk was more than accommodating though. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but would like to see some improvements before I stay here again.

The staff was always kind and helpful, my first thought was this hotel is old and needed a face lift especially for the cost of the room but once I really started to wonder I loved the vintage feel and I’m sure it would cost a fortune to fix what needs to be fixed … also loved the location but not the parking garage fee! Pretty sure we over paid on our way out … we spent a few evenings in the 1931 restaurant and bar great food and service , loved our waiter Nehemiah and bar waitress Suzanne she was working very hard they were extremely busy and she needed help they happened to be under staffed … morning coffee was delicious and yes room service could use some improvement and the elevators seemed a little shaky the beds and pillows were super comfortable!! I might consider staying there again if I’m in town

SCAM!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We woke up on the morning after our stay to a $700 room charge. When we went to the front desk to ask what was going on, we were told there was a $700 bar tab closed and “charged to our room number” at almost midnight the night before. We explained to the people working at the front desk and security that this could not possibly have been us. We went out to dinner down the street Saturday evening and had a few drinks at a local sports bar that night and were in bed by 11pm. We never entered the bar. When they showed us the receipt, there was a completely different room number written down, then scribbled out to put our number and name. There were 20+ charges on the receipt. There’s no way 2 people could have ran up a tab like that period. What I think actually happened? I think they allowed someone to run up a $700 bar tab and get so drunk they couldn’t speak or even pay, they gave the wrong room number (originally 2350). Then they looked it up and realized that nobody was staying in that room and they didn’t want to get stiffed so they wrote 2315 (our room number) and looked up who was staying and just wrote in our names. You can clearly tell it was not our signature. It wasn’t even a signature at all. Just a printed name. The people working the front desk treated us awful. You could tell they thought we were guilty of running up a bar tab we couldn’t pay for. One lady went as far as to ask us if we had a friend that was playing a joke. We told them to pull the cameras and they would clearly see it wasn’t us. They claimed there was no one there that was capable of doing that until Monday morning. We asked them if they needed a picture of us for the person that was coming in Monday to be able to look at since this person clearly would have no idea who we were or what we looked at. They wouldn’t take any photos or proof of our identity. And guess what.. Monday came and they won’t return our calls. Nobody has checked the cameras. And we got charged over $1,000 for a one-night stay. We stayed here overnight to enjoy a nice date night away before going to the game on Sunday and now we will spend the next X amount of days trying to get this sorted out with the credit card company. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED.

Located in Cincinnati, 21c Museum Hotel is a stylish accommodation with an on-site contemporary art museum. The hotel offers chic rooms and features a rooftop lounge, a restaurant helmed by Chef David Kelsey, and a spa. Guests can enjoy breakfast at Metropole surrounded by art-filled spaces before exploring the nearby Ohio River Trail. The hotel also provides convenient amenities such as 24-hour front desk assistance, valet parking service, and wedding services.
This hotel stay was excellent! My 2 night visit was comped as I am an American Express Centurion Travel Consultant but everything about my stay was top notch! I will definitely be recommending 21C hotels to all of my card members! The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and attended to all of my requests (extra towels, coffee, etc) as I chose to not have my room cleaned. The extra deep bathtub was heavenly and I only wish I had taken a second bath! All of the artwork throughout the hotel and even in my room (funky MCM light fixtures!!) was interesting and neat to look at. My breakfast was very good at the attached restaurant. My only complaint is that the lamp on one of the nightstands didn’t work, but I just slept on the other side of the bed, so it wasn’t a big deal. Room was very clean, the towels and robe were luxurious and the pillows were nice and fluffy! Ask about the PENGUINS!! I’m only sorry that I didn’t get a yellow penguin to start a collection!

The front desk and valet team were super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth. The on-site restaurant was great — they offer brunch until 2 PM (a huge plus!) and were very accommodating. Food service and room delivery were convenient, and the daily cleaning was reliable. The location was also excellent, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. I also appreciated the 24/7 gym and the hotel’s use of reusable water bottles. On the downside, I expected more art given the hotel’s name, but it didn’t live up to that theme. There was construction on-site during my stay, which wasn’t ideal. The rooms themselves felt very old and in need of updates. The biggest disappointment was the electrical outlets — most didn’t work. Waking up to find my phone and Apple Watch uncharged threw off my plans for the day. Small details were also overlooked: only one toilet paper roll with no backup, an empty conditioner bottle, and even the shower handle coming loose. Overall, while the staff, restaurant, gym, and eco-friendly touches stood out positively, the outdated rooms, maintenance issues, and lack of attention to detail made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

I stayed at the 21c hotel as part of a work trip. Overall the stay was fantastic. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and always available to answer my questions. The only hiccup for me was that I asked the front desk to have more tissues sent to my room since I had one tissue left and I was assured it would be sent up. Unfortunately it was not so I ended up using my own since I got back late from work and wanted to go right to sleep and was leaving the next day. I greatly appreciated the ease of leaving my bags the last day when I had to work that day but was checking out. I am also grateful that the hotel was clean. I had read so many reviews of other hotels having bed bugs this year and was grateful to see that 21c did not have that problem (I checked for myself). I would've loved to stay longer and explore more. The location is incredible, right across from the aronoff theater!

It’s a really cool, quirky hotel. It calls itself a ‘museum’ hotel but I s really more of an art gallery. The rooms are nice and the restaurant, Metropole, was really good, offering a tasty and diverse menu. The penguins are a cute and quirky thing. Overall, I feel this hotel is overpriced but it’s in a great location and within walking distance to the major attractions.

Pros and cons, but can't overall recommend. Front desk staff was friendly. The art in the lobby is very cool. Their restaurant and bar were nice and fit the brand. I booked an upgraded queen room and was not at all impressed for the price. There is no minifridge- a note stuck to it says it's no longer working and to go downstairs for options. I just would prefer a working fridge. The bathroom tile art was very cool and the bathroom felt spacious. My issue, like many, is the extremely poor billing situation. The front desk person tried to charge me the full amount for my stay that day, when it had been prepaid. After verifying this, I presented a card for incidentals. I was told if I needed ice (there are no ice machines at all) to just call the front desk. I was charged $101.30 on my card upon checking out. Not only did I not use any incidentals or extras, no one stated there was a charge for ice. The fact that rooms are hundreds of dollars and they are charging for ice is wild. I have contacted the hotel a couple times about the incorrect $100 charge and heard nothing back; I will dispute the charge with my cc. Overall, I would only stay here if you have money to waste.

If you want a unique experience, love art, great food, AND a great massage… stay at the 21c. The art changes a couple of times a year, Metropol restaurant is phenomenal for breakfast, lunch, and especially dinner. The spa is beautiful and I had one of my best massages to date there. I love this funky brand of hotel and can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Overpriced & Underwhelming - The Art Doesn't Justify the Lackluster Stay Rating: 2/5 Stars (Poor) I was excited to finally stay at the 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati, drawn in by the unique art concept and promises of a luxury boutique experience. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the premium price tag, making the stay feel significantly overpriced and generally underwhelming. While the art museum aspect is genuinely unique and fun to walk through, the core hotel experience—the one we actually paid a luxury rate for—was severely lacking. The Disappointments: * Inconsistent Service: For a hotel at this price point, the staff experience was inconsistent. Service should be flawless, but it felt more like a standard mid-range hotel. * Room Quality & Cleanliness: The room felt less "luxe" and more "stark." I noticed the bath tub plug was out and laying on the side of tub and the mini fridge was partially broken and barely kept any drinks cool. * Poor Value: Paying a premium for the idea of a museum hotel is fine, but when the basic comforts and service falter, the high rate simply cannot be justified. The Positives * The location is excellent. * The rotating art exhibits are genuinely creative and a nice perk. The Verdict: If you are looking for an art experience, visit the museum for free. If you are looking for a true luxury hotel stay with excellent service and high-quality accommodations, save your money and book elsewhere. The 21c Cincinnati needs to invest more in its hospitality service and room maintenance to warrant its current pricing. Not worth the money.

This place is so cool. The art gallery downstairs brings a lot of character and charm. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get to stay longer. I got in very late and the front attendant was spectacular and friendly. Room was great and there was no lack of power from the shower head. The bed was very comfortable. It was easy to locate. There are a few parking garages in the area. They're priced.. like you'd expect in a downtown area. I want to go back and I'll definitely stay here.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Soufiane. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure that both my husband and I were well taken care of. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly welcomed. Soufiane anticipated our needs, provided excellent recommendations, and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It’s rare to find such dedication and warmth in hospitality, and Soufiane exemplifies it perfectly. We are very grateful for his outstanding service and highly commend him for making our stay memorable.

Had a weekend trip to Cincinnati and a late check-in. Valet was very courteous with our welcome by Patrick, the valet manager. Prices are a bit steep for valet at $42, but the service and convenience was well worth it. Everything done through text/app. The room was a bit lackluster. Creaky floors, just enough towels, the bathroom sink drained very slow, and there was one little dead critter on the floor. The lights at the front door coming in also didn’t work. We didn’t request a change because we wouldn’t be in the room very much. The staff at the desk was always courteous and helpful. Had to make a midnight trip to the lobby for Medicine. The mini convenience area had slim pickings, but got the job done. Would also like to shout out the valet service with Toni, Aryanna, and Weldon. We were briefed ahead to request the car 20min in advance due to the one way streets, but we’ve gotten the car in less than 10 each time. They were always in a good mood and were quick to get us the car and keys. The location was also very walkable to great eats, entertainment, and is very close to the streetcar which can take you to see all the major areas for free. Overall highly recommend if you’re in it for the sights and adventure, but maybe not so much if you plan to stay inside.

Wow! 5-Stars are not enough! My birthday ended with such pleasantries while staying at this historic Hotel. All I wanted was to see my Detroit Lions play the Cincinnati Bengals, and what a game it was! Afterward, my fiancé surprised me with this beautiful hotel. We drove 4 hours from Michigan, and instead of traveling back immediately, we wanted to rest. Unbeknownst to us, our 3rd party booking agents sent incorrect confirmation numbers for our reservation. We were stuck on hold for hours. Concierge Ms. Lea made sure she spoke with the agency and held our hand through the process. Manager Soufiane went above and beyond to accommodate us after the mishap, though the Hotel was not at fault. These two turned a long night into the most sound sleep I’ve had in weeks! The Kidd Coffee Company inside the hotel was the perfect stop for coffee and a lite breakfast to energize our commute back to Michigan. We surely will be booking directly with this hotel for our next stay in Cincinnati! Thank you Lea & Soufiane for your kindness and courtesy!

Soufiane and the rest of the desk staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. They even called the maintenance staff to help me take apart a lamp I was disassembling to fit in my suitcase. The beds were super comfortable and it was easy to connect my apple tv to the room television. There are plenty of cozy spaces to sit in the lobby. Breakfast is not included, but the coffee shop in the lobby is tasty and they have breakfast sandwiches. It's walking distance to great locations downtown, including the bus and streetcar stops that can take you all around. You will have to pay for parking, but there are garages nearby or you can take advantage of the valet service. Toni and the other valet staff are super helpful and they accept cashless tips. I had an interior room with a balcony that overlooked the lobby. It was weird to not have exterior windows, but light from the lobby skylights was plenty and when the shades are closed it was great for keeping the room dark and quiet overnight.

We stayed at the Cincinnatian for four nights while visiting relatives outside of Cincinnati. Had a wonderful time in the city, with highlights being the Underground Railroad Museum, Findlay Market, and enjoying the River Roots Festival, and taking a sunset cruise on a river boat. The hotel is very convenient and within walking distance of most sites downtown, including the waterfront and the ballpark. The hotel parking attendants were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful in terms of giving us directions and ideas, and always had our car ready for us. A special shout out to Aryanna, Toni, Asliegh, and Patrick- who treated us like family. We are so thankful to them. Ada from San Diego

Our stay at The Lytle Hotel was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the service was truly some of the best we’ve experienced in years. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and professional — especially the gentleman at valet, who were so thoughtful and kind throughout our visit. I have traveled internationally many times and somehow Lytle Park consistently stands out amongst so many places that I’ve stayed. I think where the magic happens is that the service is stellar across the board— from valet, to housekeeping, to front desk, to bellhop, to bartenders- everyone brings their A game and delivers five star service. As someone who spent 15 years working in hospitality including opening one of the biggest and newest Hilton concepts— trust me when I say I know when someone (many people) are doing it right. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in town even with it being on the pricier end of surrounding options. The rooms are clean and the vibes are spectacular! Can’t wait to come back.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that I didn’t get to spend more time here. I was only here for 12 hours, and I feel cheated. My room was fantastic, the staff was on point, I’m not 100% sure of the location, I was only in town for a Reds game. My lone complaint was actually with the valet parking. When I arrived, I let them know (more than once) that I’d be leaving at 3:30am, they said not to worry, they’d leave my car up top for easy access. Of course at the appointed time, my car was nowhere to be found. The poor front desk man had to venture off in the rain to find it. Was only about a 10 minute wait.

Attended a private event in the roof top vista bar; we had the outside deck to ourselves which easily accommodated the 47 guests. The bar team were friendly and patient and the views were great, so we had a very relaxed Friday evening at the end of September. I didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment on those but would recommend the bar if you want something a bit special. The approach to the hotel is through a small pretty garden with a fountain, which adds to the feel of this being quietly nestled away despite being just minutes from down town action.

This was a beautiful place to watch the Newport fireworks. We didn't have to fight a crowd and it was so relaxing. My 6yo chased fireflies while we waited and I wasn't concerned about dangers at all. They've really cleaned up Lot E since I was here last and it's not creepy now. You can swing and look at the river, walk the path, play at the playground, and just enjoy the flowers and the river. It's gorgeous!

This isn't my first time to the park but it was one of the best times. I love the Great American ballpark. I've been going to Cincinnati reds games since it was at Riverfront stadium. The people are super friendly and the seats are always great and the food is fabulous. I love my Cincinnati reds.

We had a tour of the ball field. It’s absolutely beautiful! We had a great time and learned quite a bit. However, the tour was kind of dry. They were very serious and almost scripted. Please tell some jokes lol

The banks is a beautiful, Smale Park, Yeatmans cove, Sawyer point all beautiful parks. They are always kept very nice and clean.... Well until people come down from the suburbs and trash the place. Ripping their motorcycles in and out of the tunnels and bridges scaring children and pets as you're walking not to mention the fact it hurts our ears and disturbs our peace. We don't run through your neighborhoods, trashing your front lawns in cracking our engines just so your children or your pet can climb your neck out of fear. Be respectful, pick up after yourself, and please remember people reside here too. The way this place looks after a Friday or Saturday night you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati is a luxurious hotel with top-notch amenities, including a heated indoor pool, fitness center, and high-speed internet access. It's conveniently connected to downtown Cincinnati via a pedestrian skywalk and is located near popular attractions like the Great American Ballpark. With 12 meeting rooms and the city's largest ballroom, it's an ideal choice for business travelers.
We had an excellent stay at the Hyatt! The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was — from the lobby to the rooms, everything felt fresh and well taken care of. Traveling with kids, that really gave us peace of mind. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable, and the pool was also very clean and enjoyable for the kids. Dinner at the restaurant was great too, with good food and friendly service. Overall, such a wonderful and worry-free stay — we’d definitely come back!

Overall I would probably stay here again. It’s at a great location. We came for a Reds game and were able to walk to the ball park. Lots of cute cafes and restaurants around within walking distance. Check in was smooth except the front desk told us the wrong room at first so we went back down and got the right room, not a big deal. The room was clean and up to date. The arm chair in the room had a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the side. Didn’t get hurt, but we told the desk and within a few hours someone came by and removed the chair from the room. We did call the front desk our first night to ask for an extra blanket because I’m always cold, but they never came. The first morning we got wake up calls at 7am even though we didn’t ask for it. We asked the desk to make sure we didn’t get it the next morning, but we still did. Just little things, totally not a huge deal. We still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the 24/7 market downstairs. Parking was easy and $61 for two days. Would probably stay here again!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati for nearly two weeks, and while the ground-floor shop and restaurant was well-maintained, well-stocked, and staffed with friendly employees, my experience with the front desk was, unfortunately, quite the opposite. The front desk staff, particularly the women, were consistently rude, unwelcoming, and impolite. Their lack of hospitality was a stark contrast to the excellent service provided by other hotel staff. On multiple occasions, I had to remind them to arrange room cleaning, and even then, it was inconsistent. Basic amenities, such as tea bags and bottled water, were frequently overlooked, which was especially frustrating given that we had booked two rooms for our family. As a Hyatt Global Member, I’ve stayed at hotels worldwide, but I’ve never encountered such poor service at the front desk. It honestly felt as though the staff was doing us a favor by providing basic services, rather than offering the level of hospitality guests should expect. This was particularly disappointing, considering I had a choice of numerous other hotels in the area. Even local cab drivers were far more welcoming than the front desk staff. I specifically emailed the front desk one afternoon to request room cleaning, and despite this, my room was not made up by the time we returned in the evening. It was clear that my request was ignored, further highlighting the lack of attention to guest needs. In light of this experience, I’ll be booking Hilton or Westin properties in the future, as I simply cannot recommend the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati based on this stay. It was an unfortunate and frustrating experience that overshadowed what should have been a pleasant trip.
Navin M — Google review
I’m writing to express my disappointment with the quality of service during my current stay. My family and I prepaid for a 6-night stay, expecting a comfortable and well-equipped experience in line with the Hyatt brand reputation. We have stayed her multiple times without issue but this time is lacking. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues that have significantly impacted our stay: • There was no hand soap in our room upon arrival, which I had to request separately. • During a visit to the hotel pool, we found that there were no towels available. We asked for some, but they were never provided. • After returning to our room, we realized there were no bath towels at all. When my husband went to request them at the front desk, he was told there were none available, and we were given hand towels to shower with instead. Our family has to shower and dry off with HAND TOWELS. These basic amenities should be standard for any guest, let alone for a family staying multiple nights. I understand that occasional shortages happen, but this level of unpreparedness and lack of follow-up is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. I’m hoping you’ll take these concerns seriously and would appreciate any consideration or compensation for the inconvenience we’ve experienced so far. We are super disappointed.
J M — Google review
The room was great—comfortable, well-equipped, and I felt completely safe moving through the hotel and to my room from the elevator. The real standout, though, was the restaurant and the tall, friendly bartender who was absolutely phenomenal. His engaging conversation, attentiveness, and local recommendations made every visit enjoyable. I ended up dining there almost every night because of the great atmosphere he created. He’s definitely a team member worth keeping!
Chelsea M — Google review
This was a first staying at a Hyatt Regency and I was not disappointed. The room was well kept, and the bed and pillows were some of the best I've slept in while traveling. Probably my favorite element was that the shower had both volume and pressure, as opposed to the typical low volume/pressure or water saver jet head that is brutal.
Chad W — Google review
Service was good but the rooms themselves just aren’t worth it. They are mostly clean but, I noticed stained wall paper, peeling paint, ripped tracks on the carpet where the desk chair is and rust on metal fixtures. It’s just all looks a bit neglected. The service was good, and the restaurant was decent. Overall, is was fine for a business trip. But I’d be disappointed if I’d had to come come out of pocket for it!

The Westin Cincinnati is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of downtown, just steps away from popular attractions like the Contemporary Arts Center and Great American Ball Park. The hotel offers over 450 guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing stunning views of the city. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an exercise room, indoor swimming pool, and a lounge bar overlooking Fountain Square.
Wonderful service with a fast check-in. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Full service bar downstairs to pregame before your evening adventures. A close proximity to outstanding restaurants nearby. The gym was top notch. This hotel exceeded most expectations. They provide valet parking but a garage is attached for public self service parking. Pricey at $21 a day. Also if you are not a Westin member, you have to pay for the wifi. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I was happy with my stay here. Comfy beds, a dark room and quiet hotel made for a good experience. Also, a big shout-out to Catherine at the front desk working this Saturday morning. She went above and beyond to assist us and even kindly fill out our water bottles with ice to prepare us for a HOT day! Thank you!!
Gisela G — Google review
This hotel is getting tired and not up to Westin standards from a maintenance and appearance standpoint. However, the price fairly reflected the condition. The service I received was excellent. The front desk staff were very courteous and professional and went out of their way to be helpful.
HC B — Google review
Property is a bit tired. Missing some of what the brand used to be, including the Westin scent in the lobby. The room was clean, but a bit run down. For example, the blinds had been removed and replaced with a set that was too small for the windows such that they left about three inches on either side that remained open when fully extended. The towel rack in the bathroom was mostly rust rather than chrome. The tub handle was loose. The mirror clwas corroded around the edges such that the reflective surface was peeled back around the edges. The location is great with many walkable options. Lots of restaurants and activities nearby. The bed and pillows were comforable comfortable and clean. So, it was fine. But not to the standard I knew Westin to be ten years ago.
Eric M — Google review
I’ve stayed at this Westin on several occasions since 2008. The good? Check in was great as usual with water and breakfast vouchers. The bad? 1) No iron in the rooms. 2) Two shampoo dispensers and no body wash dispensers. 3) Broken Peloton in the gym. I told front desk multiple times but nothing was addressed through my 3 night stay except for the iron which was delivered after two calls. The rooms are tired and need updating. Overall, I expect better.
Simon — Google review
The room was nice but the in-room coffee maker was broken, the silver layer was peeling off the mirror, and there was a crack in the ceiling. Also we couldn't find the self park even after circling the block 3 times so we had to pay valet prices. The location was great though. The beds and pillows were very comfortable!
Charlotte T — Google review
This is a Westin? I’ve stayed at nicer Holiday Inn’s. First, the shower rod is falling out of the wall, there is mold in the grout of the shower, half of the shower head doesn’t even spray water. The sink is not lined up leaving a huge gap between the counter and the sink. There were no robes, the duvet was dirty and put on upside down. The cabinet where the fridge is located is destroyed. The towels were stained and not luxurious at all. Deeply deeply disappointed in our room. When we called down to the front desk to let her know about the shower curtain she acted like we were bothering her…. Her response, “Ohhhkayyyy.” Freaking huge bummer.
Erika S — Google review
Great location right in the heart of Cincy. Very easy walk to many places of interest and close to a stop for the Bell Connector streetcar, making it manageable to get all over the main parts of the city. Service was great, the room was clean, check in and check out were smooth.

Hotel Covington offers a blend of modern and traditional charm, with cosmopolitan rooms and suites. The historic property exudes stately elegance and upscale flair, featuring vintage art alongside contemporary furnishings. Coppins Restaurant + Bar serves seasonal plates in a chic space that pays tribute to the area's history. The hotel effortlessly combines vintage touches with modern accents, offering guests a unique experience that celebrates the city's heritage.
This is the most exquisite hotel that I have ever been too. Every single staff person that i walked by or talked to... was so polite and friendly. The room was EXTREMELY clean. It was so clean that I tried to find something wrong with the room but I was unsuccessful and finding anything wrong. The blackout curtains were very impressive not an ounce of outside light came in. The valet for car parking was very professional and prompt. Truthfully this 5 star rating is not adequate to show how perfect this hotel is. The location is perfectly situated in a nice busy downtown area with lots of things going on and to do. I am giving this hotel 10 stars 🌟. I will most definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing stay.

We used the hotel Covington for our wedding weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner in the Eva G Farris Ballroom and we had a room block for our guests to stay at hotel Covington the entire weekend!! We cannot thank hotel Covington enough! The staff during our rehearsal dinner were so attentive and the food and drinks were amazing!! Jennifer was the lead banquet manager for the night of our dinner and she was awesome! We also worked with Tory while planning our event. She was so helpful and made the entire planning process go smoothly! The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was so kind and helpful in any ways we needed! All of our out of town guests had nothing but great things to say about the hotel! We stayed over in the north section of the hotel and used two of the suits as our getting ready rooms. The hotel north section is a beautiful add on. We definitely recommend using Hotel Covington for your next event!

My husband and I had an incredible experience here. The staff, the ambiance, the exquisite rooms and comfort, and the way the staff accommodated our requests was second to none. We needed a microwave and the valet gentleman brought one all the way up to our room. They saw to all our needs and the breakfast was also amazing. The space is visually stunning. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Covington this week. We stayed in the Luxury Skyline Suite. The suite was very clean, spacious and quiet. The layout of the room and the bed were very comfortable. The large terrace was very nice. We had a small city view. Our room was located in the North building. If you wanted service for example, coffee, breakfast, gym, front desk, you would have to walk over to the other building of the hotel. Several times the North desk was not open. The exterior doors would be open to the hotel at all times, which made security feel minimal. The hotel is missing a few luxury experiences. There's no-one to help with luggage or monitoring the front doors. Overall a very nice experience, would be helpful to have a map of the hotel especially if in the North building to know where places are and how to get there.

Hotel Covington perfectly blends elegance and history with a modern touch, creating an aesthetic that is truly unmatched. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed—charming, pretty, and incredibly inviting. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the service feel genuinely warm and personal. Our room was comfortable and cozy, with excellent amenities and delightful extra touches that made the stay feel special. Coppins has excellent food and drinks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all while being surrounded by such a beautiful vibe. Whether you’re drawn to its historic charm or its contemporary sophistication, Hotel Covington offers an experience that’s both beautiful and memorable.

While my partner and I do love the balcony suite & have been here twice now, the mattress is horrible! Literally cannot sleep on it. No support and we both rolled right into the middle. With such an incredible firepit & balcony, it's a shame the mattress is so bad. Please put firmer/newer mattresses. Room is also quite small but otherwise, recommend.

The hotel is very nice. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, they helped us locate places to visit and eat at (they have them written out on little cards if you ask for them). The room was nice, but there was a bad window view. The restaurant located in the lobby is also a strong recommendation, and it helps that this hotel has that.
Zachary B — Google review
This was our third time staying at Hotel Covington and it just keeps getting better. The rooms are beautifully designed, super comfortable, and feel upscale without being over the top. Staff is friendly and on point, and the location is perfect—close to great food, bars, and just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. We’ve stayed at a lot of boutique hotels and this is easily one of our favorites, especially for the price. Great value, great vibe; We would highly recommend!

The on-site restaurant, The National Exemplar, impresses guests with its innovative take on classic dishes.
WONDERFUL! My two sisters & I spent a week here and were very pleased with every aspect of the hotel & restaurant. We are all in our 80's. I'm mobility challenged, so I stayed in the accessible room with a walk in shower. My sisters shared a room with two queens & a fireplace. They were both lovely & had every convenience. The staff was great. The entire Mariemont Village was charming!

This is quintessential Americana! The rooms are charming and also have very up to date bathroom amenities. Service from the front desk staff and housekeeping was excellent and the connected National Exemplar restaurant is great. Two complaints - the workout room only has three pieces of equipment, and the treadmill was broken. Also, on Christmas morning the restaurant was closed so they provided pastries - yummy but way too sweet! Needed some healthier options. For the cost ($350/night) it is a bit overpriced. Otherwise five stars

Overall nice stay. The room was very clean. Issue was when we went to bed the ac unit was set at 67, woke up and the room was 78. When I told the front desk lady at check out she said they knew this. My question is why did you put us in a room with that issue, and if it's the whole hotel why haven't you fixed it or at the least let your guests know it's an issue? For over $220 on a weeknight for a best western, the ac unit should work all night. If you want a comfortable stay , you might go elsewhere as their ac unit isn't reliable, and they dont care at the front desk.

The Bed and Breakfast is top notch - the buildings and rooms are so beautiful - what a high quality operation !! If you appreciate craftsmanship and well cared for historic homes this is it! Wonderfully furnished ; the bedding and bath towels are amazing - so is the breakfast - plenty of food with lots of choices served perfectly and brought to your room - with your own right sized private dining table. And a small detail but for an older home the water pressure in the shower is great! The location is super convenient to really anywhere in Cincinnati - downtown is less than 10 minutes - University of Cincinnati and the Medical Centers are less than 15 minutes! The owner is so nice and communicative, easy in and easy out! My wife and I will be back!

And to thw guy that yelled at my kid for pressing the button on the revolving door to go out on the 3rd floor balcony....maybe dont yell at a kid for something they didnt know... or at least learn how to talk to people in a more kid-friendly or personable tone. Exhibit itself was nice though. Kids enjoyed the videos/theater portion. Nice mixture of art/history/exhibits/etc. Great for kids to learn and observe

Wow! Very strong powerful message about slavery and freedom. There are many applications to our society today. They're are 8 movies to see. All our well-done. Most of the staff is very kind. Just a couple grumpy guards. Overall a very positive experience. Just need to be in the right mind-set to absorb all the NURFC has to offer. DO NOT MISS THE GIFT SHOP! This a great place to find really unique gifts.

I recently was here for Fevers Candlelight Neo Soul String event. It was a very nice experience. Comfortable seats. Beautiful ambiance. We sat in row 3 zone A to be up close to the action but there really wasnt a bad seat in the house. The staff was really kind. Ive been here on Juneteenth as well. Its a beautiful place to visit anytime u have the opportunity to attend an event there. Go visit!✨️

Powerful. Sad. Frustrating. Eye-opening. Educational. This museum is very well thought-out. The displays are amazing!

The most amazing concert I’ve ever been to in my life. It was so beautiful. I’ve never been to a candlelight concert. It was my first definitely will not be my last. Oh it was top-of-the-line beautiful. I’m a diehard Fleetwood Mac fan I rate it 1000 stars

Wow this experience was awesome. I got to learn about the history of Kentucky and Cincinnati when it came to slavery. The displays would make some people a little uncomfortable but learning the history and seeing anonymous donations to the museum was an experience. We toured every floor, sat through some short films, toured every area we could. It was worth every dollar for the entrance fee. I got to sit in the pray house and listened to a hymn. Amazing experience. I would definitely visit this again.

Findlay Market is a vibrant and historic destination in Cincinnati, renowned for its diverse array of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to unique ethnic delicacies. As Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, it boasts over 50 stalls that showcase the region's culinary heritage.
A historic market that has transformed from a weekend farmer’s gathering into a lively indoor marketplace. Lots of variety, from fresh produce to unique shops — even found a handmade wonton spot. Worth a visit if you’re in Cincinnati.

This place has meats, desserts, produce and even live plants. I recommend going early to avoid the crowd. It seemed to have a very nice traffic flow. It is indoor and outdoor. I hear the bars are very nice as well.
Elijah L — Google review
Findlay Market is truly one of the must-see places in Cincinnati. It perfectly captures the city’s history, culture, and community spirit all in one spot. The moment you walk in, you can feel the charm of the past blending with the energy of today — the old brick buildings, colorful vendor stands, fresh food aromas, and friendly local buzz create an amazing atmosphere. This isn’t just a market — it’s an experience. You’ll find everything from fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, and baked goods to flowers, coffee, and handmade crafts. The outdoor stalls and street musicians make it even more lively, especially on weekends when the place comes to life with music, food, and smiling faces. What I love most is that it supports local farmers and small businesses. Every vendor here seems genuinely passionate about what they do, and the quality of products really stands out. Prices are fair, and everything feels authentic and full of character. There are also plenty of cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to relax with a coffee after exploring. Parking can get a bit crowded at peak times, but arriving early makes everything smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, Findlay Market is a beautiful mix of history, local flavor, and community warmth. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Cincinnati, this place is absolutely worth the stop! 🌿🧺

adorable and historical! one of my favorite spots to visit in cincy. such a variety of great food, the investment into local food and access in connecting vendors to the community is really amazing to see. if you have the means to do so, why not shop local? i haven’t gotten to try everything yet, but i love blue oven bakery every time. their focaccia is lovely!

This place is incredible! They have so much variety and so many different vendors to shop at! My husband and I went on a Saturday morning and it was packed full but the lines went pretty quick. We only had to wait in a few lines for 5 minutes max. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Favorite thing to do in downtown cincinnati. I love how there’s fresh produce and meat. Make sure you park close or in Findlay market parking. OTR is not the safest area. We loved our sandwiches for lunch. Water is only free at the bar, everywhere else is 50 cents. I love all the stores, including a vintage clothing store. Such a fun place in Cincy

The Summit Hotel is a stylish and contemporary upscale hotel located in the vibrant Madisonville neighborhood of Cincinnati. The hotel features a modern restaurant, rooftop garden, yoga studio, and a bold nine-story atrium with an art gallery showcasing carefully curated collections of contemporary art from local artists.
This is an extremely well laid out hotel. Definitely rivals some of the larger competitors. I would encourage everyone to consider this hotel for your medium and high level business necessities. The hotel itself is very pleasant and clean. And the work staff is courteous and cooperative. I would definitely recommend staying here for business or pleasure.

My recent stay at The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the service, ambiance, and attention to detail were top-tier—but what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality provided by Eric. Eric greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. His attentiveness to our needs, helpful attitude, and seamless handling of our luggage made us feel immediately welcomed and well cared for. Throughout our stay, Eric went above and beyond to ensure everything we needed was met with promptness and a smile. His knowledge of the area, dinner and activity recommendations, courteous demeanor, and sincere commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. Eric exemplifies the very best of hospitality and is a tremendous asset to The Summit Hotel. In my opinion, he deserves serious consideration for a promotion to Manager of Hospitality—his natural leadership, service-oriented mindset, and ability to elevate the guest experience are qualities every great hotel should recognize and reward. Thank you, Eric, for making our stay unforgettable. We will absolutely return—and recommend The Summit Hotel to others—largely because of your outstanding care and dedication.

Hotel was great. Loved the event space. Only complaint was the valet service. For some reason they only had one person working valet during checkout in a Sunday. Not the valet's fault but it took over an hour to get out car. Good thing we didn't have somewhere to be...

Perfect location. We took a short drive to have dinner in Covington, KY (amazing food/vibes), and a short drive to the Purple People Bridge. Clean, Industrial curation.Live music. Simple- straightforward and trustworthy. And- our bed offered a very comfortable sleep! Thank you!

Quick overnight trip for work and stayed at The Summit. This is a newer hotel with modern features and local artwork. Location is central but in a growing area so there was some construction nearby. Our room on the 4th floor was clean and comfortable. Some comments on the bathroom: there is no vent for the toilet area or the shower which made the area stuffy. Also the shower door did not seal underneath which caused water from the shower to spill onto the tile floor. This hotel also has event spaces; while we stayed there was a very loud middle school party of some kind that played music until 10pm. I could see that being a nuisance to folks trying to relax or go to bed early. Our meal at the rooftop restaurant was enjoyable and we ordered the pub burger special. Burger was fantastic so our compliments to the chef! Jennae our server was friendly and personable as well. Overall a pleasant stay at The Summit.

Worst stay ever. I came into a room that had not been serviced. It looked like the cleaning staff quit half way. The bed was missing everything including the pillow covers. The old comforter was thrown up by the TV. The bathroom items and towels were missing. I notified the front desk and they dropped off the items and I ended up having to make the bed. Wasn't offered a new room or anything. Not ideal when all you want to do is go to bed. I will not be staying here again.

I originally wasn’t going to leave a review, but me and my brother were talking about our visit at this hotel while attending a wedding in June and I feel this needs to be addressed. We unfortunately had a very negative experience. When we asked general questions about the hotel like amenities, if they have a pool, etc. the manager was surprisingly rude and dismissive. His tone was curt, and it felt like we were bothering him just for asking. As a guest, there for a special occasion, I expected at least a baseline level of courtesy. Brad's attitude left a very poor impression and detracted from what should have been a celebratory weekend. I thought to myself, maybe we caught him at a bad time, but a few other guest at the wedding also had a similar encounter with him. Hospitality starts at the front desk, and in this case, it fell far short because of Brad. Overall, everything else about this hotel was great.
Morgan B — Google review
The guy in a suit at the hotel wouldn’t let people who are fans of a team hang out. Not disturbing anyone, just a guy on a power trip. Every other hotel in America is okay with it. Not a fan friendly hotel.

This luxury all-suite extended-stay property is located on the east side of downtown and is close to many restaurants and attractions. It is an all-suite hotel with a restaurant, bar, and 24-hour gym. The Residence Inn also offers free breakfast.
I've been in a lot of hotels over the years and i would say this in in my top 3 of all I've ever stayed in. i was not expecting such nice accommodations, i stepped into my room and was blown away with the room. i felt like i needed to stay longer to truly enjoy what this room had to offer. Breakfast was also top notch, plenty of options. Staff was great as well, i arrived very late at night having not eaten that day and was greeted with smiles and offered tons of options for me to get a bite. I took the suggestion to a local restaurant "Hooligans-Pub" and did not disappoint! Try the Hooligans Banana Peppers!!! Location was perfect as well, and the view from my room was so cool! if you say you must go to the roof top and enjoy the view and have something to eat at their roof top bar and kitchen!!! I don't know if i will ever have an opportunity to be in that area again but if i do, i will be staying here and be bringing my family for a top-notch experience.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a comedy show, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, making it convenient to get to the venue. However, the room itself showed significant signs of wear and tear, which was a bit disappointing given the hotel's reputation. One of the major issues we encountered was with valet parking. Upon checking in, we were informed that we wouldn’t have access to the valet service, despite being registered guests. This confusion was quite frustrating, but I reached out to the front desk, and thankfully, they were able to resolve the valet parking issue quickly. During our stay, there was also a wedding taking place at the hotel, which created a lively atmosphere, although it did lead to some complications. I was surprised to find that I had to pay $70 for a double shot of alcohol at the bar, particularly since I had purchased the same shot just a few hours earlier for only $35. This difference was crazy and left me feeling a bit taken advantage of. The bartender seemed somewhat indifferent to the chaos around him, which didn’t help the situation either. Overall, while the location and event were enjoyable, the inconsistencies in service and pricing were definitely drawbacks that affected my stay.

I originally made a reservation with family for a couple nights for a Reds game. They had me at the beautiful view from the rooftop bar. Due to an impending death in the family, I had to add separate additional reservations, since we didn’t know exactly when the death would occur. The front desk staff was very understanding and helpful through the complicated reservations, and they kindly figured out a way to keep us in the same room for 5 days. This included Karen, Shower, Seth, and others. Bradd and Peyton could not have been more helpful with luggage, valet parking, and general kindness in many ways. I didn’t go down for breakfast much over the course of our stay, but my husband said the food was great, and he was impressed with Johanna, Latasha, and he loved Angie, the chef. Sammie at the rooftop bar was another example of the excellent service we received in every aspect of this hotel. Not only the rooftop view, but the view of the two P&G towers from the courtyard outside the dining room was also quite nice. I told my husband that — if I ever had to live in a hotel, this is the one I would want to live in.

This was fine for our 2 night stay in Cincinnati. We were in town for the Bengals open practice. We were easily able to walk to the stadium as well as over the purple people bridge into Newport. It was about a 20 minute to both places. The rooms were clean. They certainly could use a good deep cleaning, but I have pretty high standards for clean and they were pretty good. Check in and check out was extremely easy and quick. There was some miscommunication about a rollaway bed, but it was rectified quick. Breakfast was wonderful. We did not use the Valet service and were still easily able to unload and load our luggage quick and find parking. Beds are more on the firmer side and the pillows are very thin but soft. Staff was friendly. Overall we had a great weekend!

Great location for the Paycor and GABP stadiums and lots of restaurants. But the room is run down, stained, and not cleaned well. We called three times for different towels bc each time they were gross or had holes . Nearly every spot you put your hands (door handles, curtains, light switches, chairs) had nasty stains. They offered to switch rooms, but that one was just as dirty. For this price, it shouldn’t be this gross. Next time we’ll try an Airbnb

This beautiful hotel is situated in a great location. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. My only suggestion is that the windows appear frail. I’m sure they’re stronger than they look, but this made me a bit anxious during my trip because my toddler likes to climb on things. I moved all objects away so he couldn’t try to climb to the window. I would appreciate it if the building would consider updating the windows to be more reinforced.

Stayed with the family for a week. The service was absolutely fantastic!! Not a bad thing to say about the service. We had the one bedroom suite. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The kitchen was an added bonus. The room was large and very clean. The amenities (breakfast, gym, restaurant, rooftop bar) were exceptional. A definite recommendation. Close to everything downtown Cincinnati. And you must check out the rooftop bar. Check out the photos!

The Guild Downtown offers chic units and a gym, plus a patio and BBQs. The hotel is close to Great American Ball Park, making it the perfect choice for visitors planning on catching a baseball game.
We really liked this apartment. It was very clean and spacious. It was convenient to downtown, and there was parking right across the street for a very reasonable price. We did have trouble with the keypad for the building, which I won't hold against the property itself because I understand it's the building owner who is responsible for that, but they did have someone on the property at the time of check in who was able to help us, and there is a key card once you enter the room that worked just fine. Also, the little convenience store in the lobby was a nice surprise.
Rebekah H — Google review
The location is very central and parking was easy to find near by. However, overall this was a pretty poor experience. First, this is not a hotel. There are no real staff on site so everything is automated. That means you have to go through a rigorous check in process several days ahead of time including background check and sending a copy of a photo ID. Second, when you arrive the phone app is supposed to let you in. Our door was not functioning correctly so we had to call and the building manager arrived and got us in the room, only to discover that the keycard inside the room also did not work. Third, the room looks okay, but everything is pretty cheap and not comfortable. The handle of the shower was about to fall off. The coffee pot didn't have a lid. Our friends a few rooms away had a broken toiler paper dispenser. Finally, I booked in advance at a higher rate so that I could have some flexibility if my plans changed. But my card was charged immediately upon booking. And there is apparently a 10% added cleaning fee that processes after check out. Will not return to this place.

If you are not familiar with the area, the property can be difficult to find. This was my first "virtual staffing" experience with a hotel, so it was odd not having someone there to greet you & tell you about the area. I flew in from Los Angeles and so staff made accommodations to have my room prepared for early check in. That was much appreciated! I wasn't aware the front door code was emailed to me, so I was waiting maybe 5 min to get inside of the property. No big deal. The room was nice! The only thing I noticed, was that it seemed like cleaning was rushed. There was dust and dirt in all corners of the room and there were strands of hair on the shower wall. Overall, a decent experience. The noise from the city at night can get bothersome, but it is a city so it was expected. Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and some attractions.
Bree W — Google review
We booked through a discount site and was unaware when we showed up that everything was virtual since our email said to check in with ID at front desk. We had to call several times to finally figure out our virtual key situation. The gentleman on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. The reason we are giving it only 2 stars besides the check in issue, is because our room was not very clean. We had random pink stuff on the walls, floor, comforter, and shower. The container for soap were empty in the shower as well. We also did not have hot water but only lukewarm water in the shower. While the room setup was nice, just the lack of cleanliness (especially the floors and comforter) for what we paid was very disappointing. The issues with keys and having no front desk or anyone on site to help with room issues was also frustrating. We also did not realize they had zero parking so anyone wanting to book here needs to also take into consideration parking and parking garage fees. For us for one night and keeping our car parked cost us an additional amount that we could have used towards something else within the city.
Sarina M — Google review
Not sure if there is any actual on site staff but did see a security guard in the lobby a few times. Support was virtual but always accessible, had a slight issue with the thermostat and it was promptly resolved. Our suite was actually more like a studio apartment with full kitchen, high ceilings and very comfortable. The building is older - as are the elevators but we mainly used the stairs so wasn’t an issue - but the suites are very modernized. Overall we enjoyed it and would stay there again.
Amy D — Google review
Checking in is a real pain and even though the person we talked to was nice and patient we couldn’t open the front door for check in, thankfully someone just so happen to be entering which is why we were able to get in. Then we needed to download another app for the key to the hotel door. Very happy when I saw actual keys in the room since that was the only way we were able to get in and out of the building/room.. but the location is perfect and ultimately would stay there again. The rooms are really nice!
Jasmine C — Google review
Had to wait until 5 pm to check in. Could not get into building at all until we received the text for the code. Reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights. Still had dishes in the dishwasher from previous nights stay. Not having a person on staff made it really difficult. Only one elevator worked in the building while we were there. Great rooms and great location but overall for what we spent for the rooms I could have saved money at Marriott.
Doug M — Google review
Booked a room a few months back. Truly the most bizarre place I've ever stayed. Through booking, they made clear this was mostly a self-service operation — but that there was someone on site if needed. OK, fine. It was a great location and the price was right. Because it was self-service, I asked if it were possible to drop off bags before the room was ready OR if the room might be ready early. I was told the room might be ready early, but I could still definitely drop off bags. Great. Upon arrival, I couldn't get access to the building because it was before my check-in time. I called the phone number, but it was out of service. I texted the concierge number I had communicated with before...no response, no response. I finally get access to the lobby, which is filled with trash. After hanging waiting for a reply//someone to show up for around for 20 minutes, I decide just to keep my bags with me. Someone finally texted me back a few minutes after I replied letting them know I was keeping my bags and didn't need service. Hmmm. I come back to the hotel late at night — thank goodness mobile access works as it's supposed to at this point. The hallways were filled with trash, just very, very weird vibes. The room itself was super nice. Apartment-style amenities, amazing views. Only gripe with the room was no bath soap. But everything seemed very clean and well-kept. Overall...I would book The Guild again if the price was unbeatable and just willfully not expect any amount of customer service. Otherwise, I'd probably try somewhere else.

Six Acres Bed and Breakfast is a historic bed and breakfast in College Hill, Cincinnati, OH. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and provide a sense of peace and serenity. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent food. The service is excellent, with shout-outs to particular staff members.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this cute bed and breakfast! Charles, the on-site manager, was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! Enjoyed learning about the history of the bed and breakfast as it was a part of the Underground Railroad. Charles was able to upgrade us for free due to other rooms being available. The bed was large, comfy, and had a nice, large bathroom attached. Breakfast was tasty, too. Would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay in the future!

I booked a stay here for myself and two sons because the owner gave me an exceptionally good rate over the phone. I didn’t look into the property much ahead of time beyond the photos and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible history and stories of the property. Charles, the manager, is wonderful and very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place is very peaceful. It’s a great place to rest, nestled between two Cincy neighborhoods with shops and restaurants, and it’s a reasonably ale distance from most things in town. Clean, cozy, friendly, reasonably priced, and a historic gem. We hope to stay again!

We stayed two nights for a wedding at a nearby venue. Charles was a wonderful and kind host. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The entire home was beautiful with great design. The home is right next to a beautiful park and a short drive to great coffee and good. But the best part of the stay was the delicious breakfast in the morning.

I needed a selfcare day and this bed and breakfast establishment was a great choice. The onsite caretaker, Charles was fantastic. His outgoing personality fits well with this business. The house is beautiful and I loved the Victorian style. Learning the history of this home was fascinating and interesting. My pink room and bathroom were huge. The hot breakfast was delicious. I met a beautiful couple from South Carolina who've been married 53 yrs. We all had a nice conversation about our life experiences. I had a wonderful one night experience. The room rate was affordable and nice to support a small business owner. I look forward to staying here again in the near future. PS It's off a busy street and the sign was a challenge to see when driving at night.

Stayed 3 years ago.. I was excited to stay at an African-American owned b+b with connections to the Underground Railroad. We were put in the second floor of the annex house, which is closer to the (busy) street. Our room itself was ok, but not overly impressive in terms of historic furniture/ambiance. There was a shared kitchen space on that floor that had 1980s decor. The first floor was a rented living space, and we could smell all their cooking smells. When we walked into the main house for breakfast the following day, we found what should be a sitting room all cluttered and packed with stuff. We walked into the dining area. The owner, a woman, was away while we were there. A male friend of hers was taking care of the place. He was really nice, but the breakfast spread he put out wasn't good. I emailed the owner, and she gave us our money back. We paid for 1 night and stayed for 1 night.

Zoos & Aquariums
Newport Aquarium is a top-notch facility that houses thousands of marine animals from around the globe in over a million gallons of water. Visitors can marvel at the jellyfish room, walk through tunnels, and explore exhibits featuring penguins and rays. One of its main attractions is Sweet Pea and Scooter, the stars of the world's first shark ray breeding program. The aquarium has received numerous accolades for its excellence, including being named the No.
It was clean and lots of fish and cool enclosures. Lots of information and learning about the fish. As a single adult I probably won't go on a weekend again or maybe not as early and choose a later time. A lot of kids and just took away from my personal enjoyment of the aquarium. The area around the outside of the aquarium had a few things to do too!

First visit to this aquarium! Our family really enjoyed it and the little ones loved it! Very nice, clean and easy to get through. Several places to eat around the aquarium (Including ice cream & and nice candy shop). Lots of outdoor seating. Very nice location and atmosphere!
Stephanie H — Google review
The aquarium and current exhibits were thoughtful and fun. All areas very clean and moving from one area to next was easy to follow. The tunnels were especially fun for all of us and there was a petting area. Guides at these areas are very knowledgeable and seem to enjoy their jobs. We spent about 2.5 hours going through entire aquarium. There were professional photos taken at several areas which you could look at and purchase at exit area. My one complaint is the total lack of signage! We are not from the area and really had a difficult time finding the aquarium. We drove beyond our Google map instructions and just parked in next garage. Just by chance it would lead us to open area on the levee. Once you're in this area it is really quite pretty. Surrounded by shops and small eateries, the aquarium is actually off to the side. Once we got there it went smoothly but there really needs to be maps in garage and better signage on the roads. 5 Guys restaurant is located outside aquarium and a great place to eat after we were done. I think we all enjoyed the penguins the most and enjoyed the viewing area. I wish there was a guide in this area who could give us some insight about the penguins.

Had an absolute blast. We loved all the different aquariums and enclosures they had. We also took the behind the scenes your so that was a very unique experience in it's own right. Will definitely have to do the peguin experience next time! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone to visit.

My daughter, granddaughter and myself had an awesome time. The is a great family outing for all. There's so much to see and learn. We crossed over the shark tank on a net bridge, saw the penguins, a sea turtles, many different species of fish, four different types of seahorses, eals, and divers cleaning out the shark tank. So exciting!
Denise P — Google review
I hadn't been here myself in nearly 20 years, and it was great to be able to take my kids and experience it with them. I did remember that it's super crowded on the weekends, so we picked a slow weekday, and it was the best. Got to see everything without being rushed, and take it all in. If you can go during the week instead of the weekend, highly recommend!
Marissa A — Google review
If you have younger children (under 12) this is a great aquarium to pass the time in. My partner and I love to visit aquariums whenever we are in a new city, so we have some pretty stellar aquariums to compare to (shout out to Boston's Newport Aquarium and the Monterey Bay Aquarium). This aquarium really can't compete but it is smaller but still creative with its displays. The bayou area with the white American alligator named Snowflake was really neat. The shark displays have really big sharks. But for me the highlight was their beautiful red octopus who was interacting with visitors up against the glass. So gorgeous! The penguins were great too. There was a petting area too for sea creatures. All of the workers were really great too.

Such a beautiful aquarium! The animals all look happy and well taken care of. All the touch exhibits were very cool but the shark touch was our favorite! Very cool.

The American Sign Museum, located in a former factory space, is a captivating exploration of the history and significance of American signage. The museum aims to preserve this important aspect of American heritage by showcasing a vast collection of signs from the past. Visitors can stroll through the exhibition space, which houses myriad signs and learn about the art of sign-making at the working neon sign shop.
This place is amazing. Every kind of sign you can think of is in this museum. The signs are arranged by different categories. There is a room that has a movie about the American Sign Museum. It talks about how the signs are made. How the museum acquired the signs. Also the talent artists who were a big part of making the museum come to life. It was very interesting and educational. I wish I had seen the movie first because I had to walk back through the museum to see what they were talking about. It took about 2 hours to go through the museum. Admission is $20.00. Parking is free and the parking lot is small. Go spend a couple hours and see the signs from the past.

Awesome place! If you love signs like we do, you will enjoy. It brings back a lot of childhood memories.Easy access from interstate 75. Gabby, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, great personality, great speaker, very good sense of humor, and she had very good vibes! She helped us enjoy ourselves! She is definitely an asset! Thanks for the fun time! Tony & Julie Carter

09/17/2025 - First time visiting the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, OH with one of closest friends. The museum looks like is in what used to be a warehouse. It was a nostalgic visit and felt like we warped back in time. There were signs that brought back memories that I seen on television, and are present today that have been modernized. Parking out front. Large murals surround the parking area and there are a few big signs in before entering the museum. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a small gift shop with cool memorabilia. Enjoy.
Miguel H — Google review
Very cool place with tons of different signs across the “ages” of signs. The collection comes from all over the country (from 38 or 39 states). Some were very familiar and brought back memories! A fun way to spend a few hours. The guided tour (thanks Gabby!) and neon bending demonstration were great!

Neon Sign Museum – A Surprisingly Charming and Relaxed Experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the Neon Sign Museum. Sure, it’s essentially a warehouse full of old signs, but it’s way better than I expected. The facility is well-maintained, featuring a working neon shop and a small theatre that showcases the museum’s creation and the artists behind it. The staff are knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the signs and their history, which makes the experience even more engaging. What I loved most is how relaxed it is — no strict rules or time limits, and visitors are free to roam around at their own pace without supervision. They always welcome any questions. There’s also a souvenir shop for those interested. If you appreciate vintage signs and want to learn about the craftsmanship behind them, this museum is definitely worth a visit.
Nick A — Google review
We added this to our impromptu Cincinnati trip last minute. 10/10 recommend stopping here. Our tour guide Alex was awesome! We came in at the perfect time for a tour and even got to see a Neon demonstration. Was certainly the highlight of our trip! Go check them out!

We were in Kentucky and the drive to Cincinnati to see this was well worth the trip. If you are nostalgic for the old signs you'll love it here. We were in time for one of the free tours which added to the experience. We expect they will continue to grow and we will definitely stop again. The only thing tight was the parking. If you can't make it when they are open, even the outside was great.
Scott W — Google review
Wow! What a great museum. They have a wonderful history for you to follow and so many old signs in the collection. You get to find out how they are made and all of the info. We really loved our time there. There is a big parking lot with plenty of parking and nice restrooms. It is completely worth a stop!!

The Taft Museum of Art, located in a historic building with a charming garden and cafe, is home to an impressive collection featuring works by renowned artists such as Rembrandt, Gainsborough, and Sargent. The museum's significance lies in its designation as a National Historic Landmark and its rich history as the former residence of prominent figures. Visitors can also admire captivating Chinese and French pieces within the collection. With its carefully preserved landscape murals painted by African-American artist Robert S.
This was probably the most exceptional small/medium art museum I have ever visited, and I visit a lot of art museums. Even outside of its wonderful Turner watercolor exhibit, it had an ideal Turner to other junk ratio. The entrance murals were really a remarkable surprise, as were the extensive watch and decorate arts displays. The museum really puts its best foot forward with its display choices, and the period room settings make the experience.
Sandor F — Google review
The museum is in historic building with well preserved or restored decor. The collection is not big but has important artwork by Rembrandt, Goya, Turner, Gainsborough, Corot and others. The portrait of Stevenson by Sargent is amazing. Also, a large collection of Asian and European porcelain. Probably the best Limoges works I have seen.
Yana R — Google review
The Taft Museum of Art is a hidden gem in Cincinnati. Housed in a beautifully preserved Federal-style mansion dating back to the 1820s, the museum combines rich history with an intimate art experience. The collection includes European and American masterworks, decorative arts, and rotating exhibitions that are always thoughtfully curated. The museum’s size makes it perfect for a relaxed visit—you can enjoy world-class art without feeling overwhelmed. The gardens and grounds are peaceful, and the historical context (Baum, Longworth, Sinton, and Taft family ties) adds a fascinating layer to the visit. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the museum shop and café make for a nice stop after your tour. Whether you’re a visitor to Cincinnati or a local, this is absolutely worth your time. 📍 Centrally located, easy to access, and a wonderful cultural stop.

Nice small museum located in a traditional style building. Took us about 1 hours to go through, but you could easily spend more. Entry was 15.00 each. I feel it was a good value.

A really nice little museum of art in a gorgeous historic home! We visited on a Monday when admission was free. The building itself is a work of art, and each room was dedicated to different themes (mythology, portraits, and the dining room - gorgeous French landscapes!) They also have a rotating exhibit space, indigo quilts the day we visited. There’s a cafe and gift shop on site as well. We spent an hour (little kids don’t love art 😅) but it’s probably good for at least two if you take your time. Definitely worth a visit, and if I lived nearby, I’d definitely stop in from time to time to bask in the all the beauty. Con - no free parking for larger vehicles; we had to find a spot on the street.
Jennie C — Google review
Amazing and beautiful masterpieces and unique works of art. The story of how it came to be is fascinating. Very intimate and up close look at works of art. Knowledgeable staff who are passionate. The building itself that houses the works is incredible in and of itself. I've visited several times, it really is a gem.
Rebecca S — Google review
We really enjoyed it. Although the directions to get here was stressful. Another problem waa we underestimated the amount of time it takes to truly look at everything. So we had to rush as it was closing. We will get there earlier next time. We loved the gift shop lady. She was so amazing and they have many items that are good for kids. I especially love the books and art items as we are a creative family and rather buy things like that than random trinkets. The art here is so full of history it just amazes me how talented they were in a time of limited resources. If they can create like that then I just wonder why can't we do the same or better with what we have now. Definitely coming back to eat as well it just wasn't open when we came.

Restored music venue in the heart of Cincinnati. Beautiful park across the street and decent eating within a few minute radius for either before or after a show. The interior is absolutely beautiful with comfortable seating and very good sight lines. Acoustically it was excellent. Once nice touch was the closed-captioning for English. It was up and out of the way. You could either ignore it, or quickly flick your eyes up to it without disrupting the performance. The ease of entry and the ability to get to our seats without confusion was also very good. There is also a reasonable drink/snack selection at the bars.

Very cool building and location in the heart of downtown. Huge space for exhibits. Unfortunately, one level was closed during my visit, so I made it through the museum quickly. Great top floor for kids with a creative space.

This is a must see! You seriously have to check this exhibit out. My only issue was that it was a little confusing navigating through the different exhibits. It was hard knowing which was the correct way of starting and navigating through everything. Some prices weren't labelled in the gift shop. And the discount code for weekday admissions wouldn't work. Other than that, everything was great!

Great architecture designed by Zaha Hadid. The museum features many art works from native Ohio artists. The art studio and kids space on the top floor is filled with activities.

This Museum is not free entrance . Also you need to pay parking. We have so much fun in the creations center in the top floor. My daughter and I have a creative experience making some craft there . We love all the recycle material that inspires us to make stuff. Also all the exhibits are interesting and fun. Some artists included music or videos. We took photos without flash . We are in love with this gem Museum . The modern arquitect was Sara Hadid and was inspired by the Urban look incorporating the outside to inside. Also have a little shop inside.

The security guards on the 4th floor need to relax. There was candy sitting out in a basket because Halloween was the night before. My pregnant friend saw it and popped a piece of candy and moved on. Few seconds later a man approached her and said "did you take that candy?" She said yes and he the proceeds to say it's for kids and she can't eat or drink on the floor. How about don't have it out then? It was clearly sitting out to see. Same man then proceeds to tell me to "watch where I'm going" as I moved along the floor, as there is artwork on the floor. I wasn't going to step on it, I was walking around it. Being scolded like a child when I didn't do anything is bizarre. It made for a terrible experience.

Enjoyed the Hidden Caverns Tour hosted by Miranda. The tour includes many interesting history and facts of Cincinnati, OTR, breweries and a walk through of underground tunnels where beer was brewed before mechanical refrigerating was available. Miranda was funny and well versed in knowledge of Cincinnati history, whales and chamber pots! And I enjoyed the free glass of beer at Northern Row after the tour.

If you’re even remotely interested in history, beer, or just having a great time, American Legacy Tour Company’s brewery tour is an absolute must-do in Cincinnati! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, fascinating, and a ton of fun. Our guide, Miranda, was the heart and soul of the tour — incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about Cincinnati’s brewing heritage. You can tell right away that she truly loves what she does. Every stop came alive through their storytelling — from the 19th-century brewing giants that put Cincinnati on the map, to the hidden underground tunnels that make you feel like you’re stepping back in time. Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, this tour will give you a whole new appreciation for Cincinnati. It’s not just about beer; it’s about community, craftsmanship, and the city’s incredible resilience. Highly recommend this experience — and if you can, ask for Miranda! Don’t miss it if you have a chance not to mention, can’t go wrong with the free beer.

Took the Cincinnati Underground tour with Breslin (aka Baconator). She was super fun and gave a ton of great info on the history of the Over The Rhine and beer brewing in Cinci. The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, an iconic 19th-century landmark connecting Kentucky and Ohio, boasts a span of 1,057 feet and was the world's longest suspension bridge upon its opening in 1866. Designed by John A. Roebling, who also designed the Brooklyn Bridge, this engineering marvel offers panoramic views of the Ohio River and has been a cherished part of Cincinnati's history for over 150 years.
This is one of the iconic landmarks of Cincinnati and this suspension bridge connects the Cincinnati city over the Ohio River. As per history this bridge was first made as a model before the New York Brooklyn Bridge was made. It was amazing to cross over this bridge as this was so majestic.

An iconic landmark that beautifully connects Cincinnati, Ohio with Covington, Kentucky. Walking across the bridge is a unique experience — the blue steel structure, historic stone towers, and sweeping views of the Ohio River and skyline make it unforgettable. You can feel both history and engineering brilliance here (it was the prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge!). At sunset, the views are stunning, and the lighting at night adds even more charm. Whether walking, jogging, biking, or just taking photos, this is a must-visit spot in Cincinnati.

After some heated discussion I was given a room . Not the one I chose for it's convenience to the elevator. (For physical reasons). I've stayed at other Hilton hotels with good service and staff. Homewood suites in downtown Cincinnati is the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. Motel 6 and super 8 motels make this Hilton look like amateur day camp. Won't be staying here again and will tell my family and friends of my terrible experience at this location.

Our stay had its ups and downs. Arrival was congested and confusing, with no accessible ramp into the building and no luggage carts available. Thankfully, a helpful bellman assisted us. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, although we initially had issues with the A/C—fortunately, maintenance resolved it within 90 minutes. While the hotel is pet-friendly, there’s no designated potty area for dogs. We found a few small parks within a half-mile that worked. The location, however, was unbeatable! We loved the easy roll to Great American Ballpark, riverside paths, and nearby fun restaurants. Just a heads-up: the historic building means very small elevators. Very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious bathroom, work area, and kitchen. Daily breakfast from 6-10.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! …. So.. where should i start? the building is old, smelly and just old, they spent more money on the lobby than the rooms… You check in on the 2nd floor… valet is $42 a day.. just park in the parking garage it was $31.50 for an entire day.. on the weekends would be your best bet parking on the street is FREE .. in the garbage the service elevator don’t work so be prepared to walk down steps with your luggage…. I don’t recommend the hotel at all.. the 7th floor smelled like literal poo… No rooms have showers unless it’s an accessible room. the house keepers aren’t friendly. the break is ok. very basic.. it’s a terrible location.. there’s no place for you to unload your stuff… Terrible. won’t be back for sure.. this hotel is way below hiltons standards.. the carpets in the hall are dirty.. the tvs in the room are extremely small… 32 in tv… bring your reading glasses to watch tv… SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Great hotel with great location & staff! The rooms are super nice and clean. But the bed is super uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on cardboard and the pillows were not any better. Loved the hotel but won’t be back just because of how terrible the bed was. Supposed to sleep and relax and couldn’t even do that.

Homewood suites is a decent hotel, it is a bit outdated however I felt my room was clean and I liked the layout of the suite. My favorite part were how high the ceilings were so you felt like you had more space in the room. I never heard anything until the last night when a family stayed and the kids ran around until almost 11pm, but this wasn't the hotels fault, just not as sound proof as I had hoped for an older building. The breakfast had a lot of choices, you could go between Hampton Inn and homewood suites for breakfast and choose which one you preferred. Also a great coffee shop next door and easy walking to places downtown.

Where should I start???? FIRST and foremost When my wife and I arrived we were looking for parking, we go in the parking garage and park, unpack our things WITHOUT a luggage cart and proceed to the elevators, NONE of them were working and told us to use the stairs, MIND you we had so many bags and extras for our stay, so we proceed to leave and circle the block 4 times for parking!! We asked the “valet” where would it be okay for us to park he told us across the street.. in the TOW ZONE, we finally find a parking spot and head in the hotel, there was one skinny luggage cart for all of our belongings.. we get on the elevator and the lobby is on the second floor, looks newly renovated so we were excited for our stay! We head to check in and TONYA at the front desk had a nasty attitude to begin with, she proceeded to tell us it’s an additional $50 for incidentals when I in FACT called and asked before we came, we go to our old, outdated, ancient furniture of a room and realize we had a tub.. I didn’t book a tub so we go back to the desk, mind you the room was on the 7th floor! we tell TONYA can we have a room with a shower, she gives us another room so my wife and I head to that one, we get in there to another TUB!! so we had to go BACK downstairs to the desk, at this point i’m livid, finally we get a 3rd room and it has a shower.. we go in and my wife and i try to unwind, the tv on the website did not say it was going to be a 12 inch tablet with no streaming services, so we had to go BACK downstairs to go to walmart for a HDMI cord, we get back and the remotes not working, at this point i’m annoyed with how this whole stay is going.. when i say i will NEVER book here again, that’s what i mean.. this has to be the most bottom of the barrel hotel hilton has, 0/10 would NEVER recommend!!

I ordered 3 rooms for a weekend stay as we use Hilton for most of our hotel stays. It is becoming more disappointing every time. Hilton standards are not what they used to be. One of the rooms was not ready until about 2 hours after check in time. The check in lines were so long that we missed our dinner reservations. One of the rooms was missing one of the back sofa cushions. In another room, one of the sofa cushions had a big hole in it and the stuffing was coming out. In our room the tv remote was sticky and when I cleaned it, the wipe was black when I finished. Breakfast was really disappointing. The food wasn't great and the plate and bowls were paper and the silverware was plastic. It was difficult eating oatmeal out of a paper bowl. We've used Hilton for many years and were always pleased, but the rooms in the last couple of years are dreary and need updating, especially the mattresses and pillows. When we need a hotel in a place we have previously been and the Hilton hotel was not good, we use another brand. So disappointing.

Lovely historical area. We walked around and felt completely safe. The glockenspiel tower was a nice bonus even though it was only built in 1979. The Goose girl fountain in the median is also a nice stop. The snow today was perfect for reminding us of Germany.😊

Mainstrasse Village is such a nice place to visit. My wife and I were there for the 127 Yard Sale - The World's Longest Yard Sale. We stayed in an awesome B&B nearby. The 127 Yard Sale was awesome. We really enjoyed it. There were tons of vendors and they were all so nice. The local area is so cool with plenty of historic buildings with lots of shops and restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

MainStrasse Village was within walking distance of our hotel and recommended by the hotel because of most establishments being closed on Monday for Memorial Day. We had a nice walk over to the German village and really appreciated the eclectic array of restaurants and old buildings and architecture. The area seemed friendly and there were lots of shops we would like to revisit when they reopen. We saw several homeless people in the area which made me very sad, however it was a safe area.

Love this neighborhood. We set up here for the longest yard sale, and it is a joy being here. We then had lunch at El Rincon Mexican Restaurant and loved it!

This is the second year I have set up as a vendor for the Northern Kentucky y'all Pride Fest and I have a great time. There are lots of different shops and restaurants down here to shop from also a playground for the children to play. It's a good place to come and walk around for the afternoon.
