The staff was friendly and informative, 10/10 for cleanliness, good atmosphere, and i loved the decor. The food was awesome! I will be returning

The Tablespoon crew were great hosts for my marketing team retreat. We made a delicious 3 course meal. The team was super accommodating and diligent with all of team members allergies and food sensitivities. They made it easy to follow along with overhead tv screens with live tutorials, and Tablespoon team members assisting us along the way. It was a great team bonding experience with lots of laughs, great memories and yummy food! Would totally recommend for big groups. Thanks again Tablespoon team :)

Awesome date night! We attended the gnocchi with truffle parmesan sauce class on Saturday, 11/16 and had the best time with friends. The staff was extraordinarily kind, the chef was a great host & educator, the space is warm and inviting, and the high quality ingredients made for a delicious meal. I can’t recommend highly enough and we look forward to attending another class in the future,

My fiance and I attended the Meditation Salmon cooking class to celebrate his birthday. We had an amazing dinner and experience! I can’t say enough good things. The staff was friendly, personable and attentive. The cooking process was a breeze and very enjoyable cooking from scratch (dressings, sauces, etc) and got to cook with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables! Dinner was delicious. We’ll definitely consider attending another class in the future!
Cassandra G — Google review
Love this cooking class! We’ve been twice and it’s awesome. They had GF options for this class and it made all the difference for me!
Raven M — Google review
A couple weeks ago, my husband and I attended the Pizza & Wine night! It was so much fun and the perfect class for two newlyweds especially ones that are not the best at cooking! It was such a fun experience and very relaxing too, no pressure! The team at Tablespoon was awesome! They made sure everyone was comfortable, having a good time, not to mention really good in the kitchen giving great tips, advice and constant kudos along the way! If you are looking for a fun date night or a great night out with a friend or family member, look no further! Book a class asap!
Madison G — Google review
My husband & I attended our 1st cooking class here and I can promise you it won't be our last & if we can get our friends and family to join in the fun it will be even better! From the moment you walk in you feel like you're being welcomed in to someone kitchen. The employees are friendly and welcoming - but they also KNOW THEIR STUFF! The experience was great - the food we made was wonderful and the people were fantastic! Keep up the great work Tablespoon Cooking Co.
Ann M — Google review
This was our first time and we will be back. It was such a fun evening. They make it very simple to cook a great meal. Many things are prepped for you. You learn great tips especially as a beginner! We went with friends so we were able to work at the same table and share a meal afterwards. They also have a large drink selection and you are able to purchase some things we used during class. There is very easy parking around the corner. The only negative is the classes fill up fast and I want to go to all of them 😬

We had a phenomenal night! We booked the “Date Night: The Perfect State Dinner” with Katelynn. She was very knowledgeable and hilarious throughout class. Food was delicious and definitely could be replicated at home. We cannot wait to be back!

The cooking class was fun and light hearted, there were lots information as well as jokes. Was very confidence inspiring. Would recommend for date night or just wanting to brush up on some skills. I would go back in a heart beat.

Chef Kate was amazing!!! We took a date night class--a Parisian dinner. Delicious!!! Kate did a great job with instructing, teaching, explaining and demonstrating technique!! Absolutely will be back!

It was best team bonding activity we could have planned for. The session was informative on numerous tips and tricks about food, cooking and nutrition. My team live to cook and the process of doing it ourselves was so enjoyable! Big shout out to chef KATE for her expertise, fun and authentic session! Highly recommended

We took a Mediterranean Cooking class, and Chef Kate was amazing! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about cooking. The meal was so amazing as well.
Cheryl F — Google review
I had a great experience at a cooking class at Sur La Table tonight. The chef was knowledgeable and professional. The food was delicious. I would definitely do this again. My only feedback is to offer a more exclusive class where you can work in groups of 2 instead of 4 to make it more hands on.

Glenda did a great croissants class, it was really fun and we learned a lot!

Dessert shop
Bakery
Macaron Bar is a delightful bakery and coffee shop that specializes in a wide variety of gluten-free French macarons. Established in 2014, it has expanded to multiple locations including Over-the-Rhine and Hyde Park. The shop offers traditional flavors like salted caramel and pistachio, as well as seasonal specials such as lavender honey and bourbon pecan. In addition to their core selection, they collaborate with local businesses to create unique flavors.
WE MADE MACARONS! I've enjoyed their macarons for a long time. Yesterday, I had an opportunity to learn the basics of making this sweet little cookie. My grandson and I took a class at the Downtown location. A Macaron Master taught us a lot of nifty skills. We followed her step by step and ended up taking home about two dozen macrons. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The class was fun, interesting, and far different from other baking classes I've taken. I enjoyed it and recommend it to all the adventurous bakers out there.
Carol G — Google review
These are definitely a luxury dessert. They are only meant to be enjoyed for special occasions. I used to think that they were too pricey but then I used my points to attend their 3 hour cooking class so now I understand why they are so high. I will just continue to buy them because I don't have the skill set, equipment nor patience to make them myself.
Vivian M — Google review
We’ll definitely be making the trip down more often for these macarons. The place was so clean, very peaceful vibe, and absolutely delicious macarons with some really good flavor options. My favorite was the cereal milk and the pistachio was delicious as well!
Kayla R — Google review
Didnt have the chance to join the hands on making macron (though it sounds absolutely fun, I'm down to do next time) But I do enjoy the macron they made. I had a six piece macron in 14 dollars. My favorite flavor definitely goes to the Irish cream. The delicate cream taste layers on the sweetness made this little macron a lot of surprises. If your down to have some sophisticatedly pleasant afternoon dessert you must try them.
Tsai D — Google review
12/3/22 we attended a macaron making class with Tanisha. There were 7 of us which was perfect. All of our tops and bottoms turned out perfectly because we were instructed so well. All the ganache flavors we made were yummy too. If you’re tired of gifting ties, socks, underwear etc., try gifting an experience instead. It was so much fun and you’ll take so many home. Tanisha was great and really added to the fun.
Amy S — Google review
Delicious! This cute little macaron shop is easy for slipping in and out and doesn't feel overwhelming like some bakeries can. The seasonal selection of flavors is big enough to make you crave them all and small enough to leave you hungry for the ones that will hit at other times of the year (salted caramel and strawberry milkshake are current faves). These are colorful, flaky, delicate and sweet like true macarons should be, giving you a teensy bit of Paris here in Hyde Park. What a fantastic endeavor founded by a local grad!
Allison B — Google review
Everything is gluten free!! Lots of unique flavors, a few of our favorites were lemon lavender (not overpowering, just enough), salted caramel and gingerbread. They had a holiday special: $25 gets you a 12 pack, t-shirt and a $5 coupon for your next visit.
Shawna C — Google review
My food blogger kiddos stopped in on our trip from Cleveland. The owner was super nice to them. We LOVED these macarons! Some of the best I’ve had.

Amazing place! So much fun to see, food was on point and the staff rocked.
Jason G — Google review
The food was good. Service was excellent, even as busy as they were at that time. Leslie was very professional. Very busy location on a Saturday afternoon. Every employee was working together as a team. The restaurant was clean and organized throughout. Unique, historical vibe as far as a theme. Nicely incorporated through the whole restaurant.
Michael S — Google review
The place was good. No waiting. Take off 4. We had s sandwich, BBQ ribs as main dishes plus onion rings as an appetizer. Onion rings were too crispy on the hard-to-bite side. The burnt end sandwich was great, so were the BBQ ribs. I recommend the place, but stay away from onion rings.
Arturo N — Google review
My friend and I went on June 6, 2025. We had a good server, brought the salads, fresh warm bread, but I asked for a medium cooked steak and when it was brought to our table, it was rare, still bleeding. We had to wait for a bit before the server came back to our table and as soon as she saw the steak, she commented “that is not medium” and took it away. By the time I was served the steak for the second time, it was medium rare, so I waited for the server to come around to our table and she just looked at the steak and took it. I told the server to box up the steak after it was cooked correctly for me to take home, since my friend a had finished eating his dinner. The manager did come over to talk to us and apologized for the way the steak had not been prepared as asked, and stated that I would not be charged for me meal, and I response was “ I did not get to eat my dinner.”We did not look at the food in the bag before we left the restaurant but I could see there was another salad and some bread added too. When I got home, I was still hungry and was looking forward to eating my dinner and when I opened the container the steak and potato was in, the steak was the same one that I had cut into 2 times and sent back, but they burned the steak, it was well well done. I could not eat it at all. I did eat the salad and potato. We are not from that area, but I would not go back to eat there again after sending home a burnt steak.
Donna E — Google review
Parked near the entrance. There's a fairly sharp turn at the front where traffic comes in straight off the road. My mother(in her seventies) cannot walk very fast and had to wait for what felt like several minutes to cross from the parking area to the side walk despite being in the crosswalk in front of bucca di bepos. Felt pretty unsafe. Cannot say this was entirely because of the drivers either, just poor design.
Mike S — Google review
We ate at J Alexander's (Redland Grille) on my bday and what a away to eat for ur bday. Food was soooo good I didn't want to stop lol. My husband got the full rack ribs, tender tasty flavorful with the best mac and cheese and the biggest loaded baked potato. I git the Bayou pasta (shrimp, scallops and real authentic crab meat it was to die for. Their side salad is so large u can share. Prices r very reasonable. Please try this place u will not be disappointed!!!

So much fun! Learned a lot about cakes, how to store them, icing, (super delish by the way 😉) got to try different techniques with icing a cake, AND you get to take home the cake you decorate as well as the utensils we were given to use ! I can't wait to make a cake and decorate for my family and friends 😌

Found this place on Groupon. My cake lady retired so I thought I’d give it a try. My daughter and I had good time decorating our cakes. Instructor was very nice and patient. Added bonus the cake taste good good! Would definitely recommend! Thinking about going back to make my own birthday cake.

Steak house
American restaurant
Banquet hall
The Precinct By Jeff Ruby is an elegant and upscale steakhouse located in Columbia-Tusculum. Housed in a historic building that used to be the Cincinnati Police Department's Sixth Precinct, the restaurant offers handcrafted steaks and seafood dishes along with a selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Despite its sophistication, The Precinct maintains a neighborhood feel, inviting patrons to purchase Jeff Ruby's steaks for home cooking.
We visited Jeff Ruby’s Precinct last night to celebrate my birthday, and as always, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My family and I dine here several times a year, usually with a party of 8 to 14 people, and each visit is consistently outstanding. Last night we were seated in the main dining area, and our server Charlie provided top-tier service from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening seamless and enjoyable. In addition, Dakota, Brandon, and Chad each went out of their way to ensure every detail was perfect truly a team effort that elevated the experience. The food was phenomenal, as expected Jeff Ruby’s always delivers the highest quality in both cuisine and ambiance. Five-star service all the way around. Highly recommend for any special occasion or an unforgettable night out.

We came for Date night, made reservations for 9:30pm. Sat in the bar area, wished it was away from where the waiters have to walk through from kitchen to dining room. This place is nice and have a lot of decor. I order my steak to be well done no pink but had to send it back to be cooked more/longer. Drinks are great. Waiter was great and attentive. Overall experience for my 1st time was good.

My wife and I don’t usually spend this kind of money, but we came here for our anniversary and were blown away. The staff were so kind and knowledgeable and the quality of the ingredients were very evident. The homemade Mac and Cheese was unreal and the steak and lobster were wonderful. I really enjoyed the old fashioned and my wife loved her mocktail. This is a fantastic spot for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!
Chance — Google review
A business partner came in town and he was excited to get back to The Precinct. It was a great night of fantastic food and phenomenal service. We were seated right away and started off with two orders of the Jumbo shrimp. The raw bar is one of the best things this restaurant offers, don't skip it. Our steaks were delivered to perfection and the Lobster Mac n Cheese is a must!! We were surprised with a dessert delivered to us which was called in by a friend that knew we were dining there. Again, delicious and we were extremely happy and full!!
Lee W — Google review
This was our first visit to this restaurant. Due to location, valet is the only convenient parking option. The history and architecture of this building is awe-inspiring. The interior design is inviting and perfect for groups, families, & couples. The chandeliers, stained glass windows and the red velvet-lined booths, bring class to this former Cincinnati Police Precinct building. The service is top-notch. Servers are dressed in suit and tie, and they are very knowledgeable as would be expected in such a fine dining restaurant. The food is amazing. You will not find a better selection of steaks in the area. Jeff Ruby only offers the finest meat. The homemade bread, salads, sides, steaks and desserts are all delicious.
Craig E — Google review
As high end places go this is one of the best. It also has tremendous value. The prices are better than. Some of the other places I've been, with sides included. The sea bass and waygu rib fillet was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing. Restaurant set in an old brick police precinct blends history with functionality.
Johnathan H — Google review
The crown jewel of Cincinnati steakhouses, the original and undeniably one of the best. The hatchet steak was prepared to perfection, and even as someone who isn't fond of seafood, I found the crab cake to be exceptional. Both the wedge and Greek salads were ideal accompaniments. Adding to the experience, the old-fashioned cocktail was superb, and the gold air ruby dessert—a delightful combination of mousse, chocolate cake, toffee balls, topped with raspberry cognac whipped cream and scotch caramel—was the perfect finale to a memorable birthday celebration.
Scott T — Google review
Couldn't have picked a better spot in Cincinnati for my parent's 50th anniversary. The definition of Hospitality from when we exited our cars with the valet attendants to the hosts when we entered, and the team who served our party at the table. Not snobby or pretentious, the staff is very warm and personable. They engaged with our little ones, made honest recommendations on food and wine, and they made my mom and dad feel special on their special night. SUPER TIP FOR MORE WINE AND DESSERT!!! Split plate. I had no idea we could, but it is amazing. They prepare wonderful split plates. My wife and I split a steak Burrow and I ordered a separate salad. All the steaks are amazing. You cant lose. The mac and cheese is famous for a reason. The best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. The smokiness, the mouth feel, the flavor. Best part was they weren't dry and overcooked. Perfection. The butter pie was so good. I'm glad for the split plate. Easy to see why this place has so much history and success. The steak delivered that signature char flavor, the people and rooms create a wonderful experience, and the history is literally on every wall. Dont forget split plates, brussel sprouts, and butter pie!!

Italian restaurant
Sotto is a basement dining spot in Cincinnati known for its austere brick-and-wood interior and inventive rustic Italian cuisine. It has been recognized for delivering an exemplary dining experience with great food, thoughtful service, and an elegant atmosphere. The well-edited menu features high-quality ingredients treated with the utmost respect, and the servers are knowledgeable about wine pairings. One of their must-try desserts is the airy ricotta donuts served with three delicious sauces for dipping.
Took my wife for our 5 year anniversary. This place checks every box! The service was excellent with everyone making us feel welcomed without being overbearing. The food itself was DIVINE and all cooked to perfection! It is a little on the pricey side but it's well worth it compared to other offerings I the city. It's easy to see why Sotto is on open tables top 100 list! Also, safe to say we'll be back!

After hearing some really good things about this place from locals I made reservations to stop in for dinner and give it a try. I didn’t know what to expect, thus didn’t know it was underground (Sotto means “Under” in Italian). It’s incredibly cozy, intimate, and dark down there with all tables having long candle sticks on them and various tea lights and candles all over to provide ambient lighting. The menu is filled with shareable items, especially a nice list of starters. Their pastas are all made fresh, in-house and have vibrant flavors, with their short rib filled pasta being incredible. Their fire roasted quail was seasoned nicely and cooker perfectly. Branzino is a nice, shareable size and done well too. Save room for dessert, their ricotta donuts were tender and came with some tasty sauces to dip them in. Service was decent, but could be a little more attentive and friendly. I get the feeling they are very popular and busy and know it, so you get what service they deliver. Would I come back? Definitely!

went for a birthday and it was amazing! the burrata was without a doubt the best appetizer i’ve ever had, and the octopus wasn’t far behind. the cappelacci was amazing, a little overhyped it seems but don’t let that statement fool you, it’s still a 5 star dish and absolutely worth ordering. the quail and branzino were both seasoned well and had a very nice spiciness to them. on top of that, ordered a panna cotta for dessert and they took the dessert off the bill for the birthday! zach our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. would recommend to anyone!

We had an incredible experience at Sotto in Cincinnati! Miss Jordan took great care of us — she got us seated so quickly and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. The food was top-notch from start to finish — especially the chicken liver mousse (rich, silky, and perfectly balanced) and those donuts… absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

Wow! My spouse and I went for my birthday. Our server Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and we had exceptional service the entire duration of our meal. The goat cheese bread was an excellent appetizer. I ordered the cappellacci and my husband ordered the tagliatelle con porcini, both phenomenal dishes with just the right amount of flavor. We also ordered the pork loin with the potatoes. These will not disappoint! They have options of many drinks, I ordered the Italian stallion, Absolutely delicious and my husband got a non alcoholic beverage, can't remember off the top of my head. Although we didn't have room for dessert I was pleasantly surprised with a delicious donut in salted caramel sauce. The perfect end to a perfect meal I HIGHLY recommend this amazing experience, especially for a romantic evening! Would definitely return!! Thank you for an amazing dinner 💜💜

Great place for Italian food in downtown Cincinnati. Everything was very delicious. Wood fired branzino was awesome in particular. You can’t go wrong with the goat cheese and hazelnut appetizer also. Fantastic presentation with the asparagus as well. Highly recommended you come here.

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere in the underground restaurant with an open kitchen and sunken wine cellar was so cool!! The staff was all attentive and double checked with the kitchen when unsure about possible issues with my food allergy and found alternatives for me. They had a great wine list and lots of cocktail and NA options. I definitely recommend having a reservation.

Here’s your polished, professional-quality version of your Sotto review — keeping all your original observations and enthusiasm while refining flow, grammar, and tone. It reads smoothly and naturally for a Google or Yelp post: While visiting Cincinnati, Sotto quickly came up as a must-try spot and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. With a few last-minute calls, we managed to get a dinner reservation, and from the moment we arrived, the experience impressed. Descending the stairs and stepping through a door that feels pulled straight from an old Italian cottage, you’re immediately immersed in a warm, intimate atmosphere. The glow of real candlelight, the rich wood tones, and the cozy layout make Sotto feel timeless. Our server, Paxton, was fantastic attentive, personable, and great at walking us through the menu and making thoughtful recommendations. We started with the Black Kale Caesar, Fettunta, and Oil-Packed Tuna. Each dish was delicious the Caesar had crisp greens with a perfectly balanced dressing and crunchy breadcrumbs, while the tuna served with an egg over toasted bread was a standout. For mains, we ordered the Scottadito (Lamb Rack), Porterhouse, and Pappardelle al Cinghiale, along with sides of Broccolini, Patate, and Asparagus. Everything was incredible. The lamb was so tender and flavorful that it actually changed the mind of someone in our group who thought they didn’t like lamb it was that good. The Porterhouse, sliced and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, was tender and satisfying. The house-made pasta (you can actually see it being prepared in the back) was perfectly al dente, with a delicate sauce that let the wild boar shine. Of the sides, the Broccolini was the least exciting not bad by any means but the Asparagus with Ricotta Salata was flavorful, and the Patate (fingerling potatoes in a salsa verde) completely won me over. I’m still thinking about how to recreate them at home. For dessert, we shared the Dolce (Ricotta Doughnuts), Chocolate Budino, Sorbetti, and Panna Cotta. The Dolce is a highly recommended favorite and was quite good, though not my personal top pick. The Sorbetti was light and refreshing, but the Panna Cotta stole the show delicate, creamy, and beautifully paired with a berry compote. From start to finish, the meal and experience were wonderful. I’ll definitely return and bring friends next time I’m in Cincinnati.

The Eagle OTR is a popular eatery and beer hall located in the historic Over-the-Rhine district. It's known for its perfectly crisp and juicy fried chicken, which is served with classic Southern sides like mac and cheese, spoonbread, succotash, coleslaw, white cheddar grits, collard greens, and tender biscuits drizzled with hot and spicy house honey.
Alright let’s get one thing straight: when a server says “this is my favorite app on the menu,” you order that app. These hush puppies were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and the sauce the came with was a nice blend of sweet and tangy. Location was great, and overall, it felt affordable. If you can, sit in the outdoor beer garden. Prime people-watching spot

My family raved about The Eagle OTR, so the next time we were in town, they took me to try the fried chicken. I ordered the BBQ Pork Burnt Ends as an appetizer and two pieces of chicken with collard greens as my side. First, the burnt ends were tasty. The sauce was sweet and enhanced the flavor of the meat. When my dinner came, I started with the side dish, as I always do. If a restaurant takes the time to create delicious side dishes, you know the main course is going to be great as well. My collard greens were good, but a bit under-seasoned for my tastebuds. I would have preferred more pepper, but I can't ding the rating over a personal preference. The chicken itself was underwhelming. I give it a 3.5 rating while the appetizer and side dish were a solid 4.0. The service was good despite the place being packed with more guests waiting outside. All in all, The Eagle is a nice place to enjoy a meal.

We relocated from Houston to Ohio for work, and The Eagle OTR was highly recommended by a colleague. As a disclaimer I’m from Houston and am accustomed to having a plethora of dining options, of which all are delicious. I ordered collard greens, mac and cheese and of course fried chicken as the menu was limited in protein options. The greens were underwhelming and lacked seasoning and spice. The cheese used for the mac and cheese was far too strong for mac and cheese and needed smoked gouda to balance the flavor of the dish. The fried chicken was under seasoned but fried to perfection. The spoon bread was the star of the show. The atmosphere was welcoming and very chill. The drinks were strong and our server was attentive and friendly. It’s a good place to have a southern meal if you don’t know any better. I was raised on real southern cuisine so for me it didn’t meet the mark

Nice historic looking place with good service. I was told the hot honey chicken was a must so thats what I ordered. Honestly it was pretty average. The hot honey did make it better but it was just okay to me.

Honestly a banger. I had: Mac and cheese Fried chicken sandwich (ask for extra pickles) Blackberry lemonade It was perfect for two people. This place CRUSHES everything. The chicken? Brined, juicy, double dredged, then fried. Ask for EXTRA house made pickles, they're heavenly The mac and cheese? It's genuinely the best. They use garlic bread breadcrumbs on top and the flavor layering is exceptional. The blackberry lemonade? PERFECT TART LEMONADE! You can taste the lemons not just essential oils with berry syrup.

After many recommendations to come here, I finally was able to grab some lunch while in town this week. I was not disappointed! Looking over the menu, I had my reservations about the "worlds beat fried chicken" claim. And although I may not agree (just yet), I can see why some may feel this sentiment! I ordered the pork belly burnt ends as an appetizer, shrimp and grits and the half chicken order. Pork belly burnt ends 3/5 - tender chunks of pork belly smothered in a tangy bbq sauce and served with ranch. These were decent size bites of pork belly. Coming from Texas (BEST BBQ IN THE WORLD) I was expecting more of a grilled or smoked flavor. These may have been braised or boiled, as the pork itself didn't have much flavor and was carried by the sauce. Shrimp and Grits 3.8/5 - these were pretty good. White cheddar grits that are cooked like you would at granny's house in the south (not the creamy, fluffy, whipped fancy grits like most places). A bit runnier than my preference, but good flavor. These were topped with shrimp, Andouille sausage and a gravy that added some good contrast of flavor to the grits. Overall, very good and if they were thicker I'd move into the 4+ rating Half chicken 4.6/5 - yea... They know how to do some fried chicken! Double dredged and pressure fried to get that crispy skin but JUICY interior. Although you can see the flecks of pepper and seasoning in the coating, it isn't overly seasoned which leaves room for the honey drizzle (or drowning in my case lol). Very well prepared and cooked. Hats off to the chef(s)! Bartender (Carly) was very knowledgeable and attentive. Gave me the menu rundown since it's my first visit and shared her personal faves. Pro tip: she suggested getting the grilled cheese and adding a fried chicken Brest to it! There were a few more menu items I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back when I'm in town next month!

The chicken was by far the best! The succotash was without a doubt the best I've ever had and our server at the bar was great! Now for the bad....the bathroom was filthy with over flowing trash, the restaurant itself was extremely small and not like the one in Indianapolis where there is an abundance of room and the hostess when arriving was extremely rude! We will go back for their food but will grab and go.

Taste of Belgium in Over-the-Rhine is a stylish establishment that serves up Belgian-inspired dishes and boasts an extensive selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Since its inception at Findlay Market in 2007, the eatery has expanded to multiple locations. Renowned for its sweet and caramelized Belgian waffles, the restaurant's brunch offerings have been pivotal to its rapid growth.
This was my first time at this location. I went on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t busy so we were able to be seated right away. I ordered the chicken biscuit and gravy with a caramel, apple, walnut waffle on the side. Everything tasted phenomenal! The waffle was so cute and unique. I’ll be sure to come again.

Canr came here after having a really good recommendations from a friend and the place really lived up to the hype. Husband and I got a salad and the chicken and waffle plate. Not going to lie. Everything on the menu looked extremely delicious and extremely creative so it was hard to make a choice here. Garden Salad - Added some Grilled Chicken to the salad and it was actually quite a good one. Ingredients were all fresh and went really well together. Didn't even need to add much dressing to it. Eckerlin goetta - We ordered this on the side because its one of the must try items in Cincinnati. Quite a unique flavor and texture, but actually something I would recommend trying. The Fried Chicken went believeably well with that Waffle. No wonder it's one of the popular dishes! The biggest highlight for me was that waffle. I don't know what it was with that waffle but it was a different type of Belgian waffle which was dense and cakey with a little bit of sugary crust outside and it was so so so beautiful. I noticed that they sell some waffles to go as well and little gift bags and that ready would be a nice thing to take for home or even to give someone. Could not recommend this food more! Only reason I'm taking off a point here is the service was extremely slow. We had to call them a couple times to add something on and had to actually follow up and ask where it was. Same thing with asking for an extra waffle where they just took so long even though it was quite a simple thing to bring out.

Driest, coldest, most unwelcoming staff ever. Smiled at the bartender. Nothing. Smiled at several servers. Nothing. The hostess is so soft spoken and nonchalant she should be working back of house not with customers. And to top it off I waited 20 minutes for pretzels with beer cheese and was given stiff, crusty, disgusting mush. I live in OTR and just wanted a quick snack. I regret stopping in here.

I think it’s a cute place. I would love to go for a dine in experience. Staff was superrrrrr nice and made sauce recommendations. Chicken could have been seasoned a little more. The chicken sandwich was still good. I definitely liked the fried one better than the grilled.

The service we got here was good! But the food was disappointing. We came because the mussels gratin sounded amazing, but they were out of that, so we ended up ordering the Brussels sprouts, a Niçoise salad with tuna, and a brunch burger. Thoughts: The Brussels sprouts were pretty good but so salty, and were missing the bacon. The brunch burger was good and the waffle bun was a cute idea, but in reality it was really difficult to eat. (Plan to use a fork and knife, which isn’t a big deal.) The sad thing was the Niçoise salad. The dressing was greasy, the fingerling potatoes were missing, and most tragically- the tuna was overcooked, mealy and dry. I actually spit it out- it was too bad to even swallow. I’ve never actually had tuna this bad before. (I felt bad complaining but it was inedible.) They offered us dessert, and we got a strawberry crepe which was pretty good. So no complaints about the service- our server was really friendly and helpful. But I wouldn’t recommend, or at least I’d stear clear of the Niçoise salad completely.

Findlay Market is a vibrant and historic destination in Cincinnati, renowned for its diverse array of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to unique ethnic delicacies. As Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, it boasts over 50 stalls that showcase the region's culinary heritage.
A historic market that has transformed from a weekend farmer’s gathering into a lively indoor marketplace. Lots of variety, from fresh produce to unique shops — even found a handmade wonton spot. Worth a visit if you’re in Cincinnati.

This place has meats, desserts, produce and even live plants. I recommend going early to avoid the crowd. It seemed to have a very nice traffic flow. It is indoor and outdoor. I hear the bars are very nice as well.

Findlay Market is truly one of the must-see places in Cincinnati. It perfectly captures the city’s history, culture, and community spirit all in one spot. The moment you walk in, you can feel the charm of the past blending with the energy of today — the old brick buildings, colorful vendor stands, fresh food aromas, and friendly local buzz create an amazing atmosphere. This isn’t just a market — it’s an experience. You’ll find everything from fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, and baked goods to flowers, coffee, and handmade crafts. The outdoor stalls and street musicians make it even more lively, especially on weekends when the place comes to life with music, food, and smiling faces. What I love most is that it supports local farmers and small businesses. Every vendor here seems genuinely passionate about what they do, and the quality of products really stands out. Prices are fair, and everything feels authentic and full of character. There are also plenty of cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to relax with a coffee after exploring. Parking can get a bit crowded at peak times, but arriving early makes everything smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, Findlay Market is a beautiful mix of history, local flavor, and community warmth. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Cincinnati, this place is absolutely worth the stop! 🌿🧺

Favorite thing to do in downtown cincinnati. I love how there’s fresh produce and meat. Make sure you park close or in Findlay market parking. OTR is not the safest area. Boca is a high-end restaurant known for its stylish decor, full bar, and menu featuring steak, seafood, and pasta dishes. The location is ideal for theater-goers. Chef David Falk has been with the Boca Restaurant Group for 12 years, where he developed his palate and passion for old-world cuisine. The restaurant offers an Italian/French dining experience with a seasonal menu that includes satisfying pasta dishes, well-prepared fish and meaty proteins.
We finally had our dinner at Boca and it was beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and intention. The maître d’, Nicole, was absolutely incredible! She curated our entire experience from start to finish. She gave us the best table in the house, arranged a custom menu with out-of-this-world wine pairings, and ensured every course was flawlessly executed. Every single team member we encountered made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. We were congratulated on our 25th anniversary throughout the evening, offered a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, and gifted a beautifully framed and signed menu personalized just for us. Nicole and the entire Boca team turned what was already a special occasion into a memory we’ll never forget. This wasn’t just dinner... it was hospitality at its highest level. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

We were in Cincinnati for our anniversary and needed a nice place to dine. We have previously had poor luck finding a location with great food and great service. Reddit suggested Boca and we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, food, and service. Small plates with excellent flavor. Desert was great too. Highly recommended.

One of the best dinners I have had in a while. I've tried multiple new foods the other night, including caviar and scallops. The staff made the entire experience amazing. They explained the menu in-depth and the flavours with each dish. We ended the amazing dinner with beef Wellington and a lemon cake thing that was SUPER GOOD! The scallop and brussel sprouts are featured in the image. The ingredients were extremely fresh, and the scallop tasted like a steak.

Cincinnati has a sneaky good food scene. Boca has to be within the top echelon. Designed as a small plate restaurant you have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of flavors. "GG" our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and delivered an exquisite experience.

This is the restaurant you can always count on to have amazing service and food. We celebrated our birthdays with friends and had a delicious dinner. The audience is beautiful and food outstanding. Make sure of course to have the Pommes soufflés, they are everything they are cracked up too. This evening we tried something new to us the romanesco, it was lightly charred with an incredible sauce and bed of grains. We also had the corn elote which is the taste of summer in a plate, then shared the beef Wellington. Topping the evening off with their not only tongue in cheek catchy names but presentations of desserts.

I rarely rate any place 5 out of 5. But it's really surprised me. First they serve French Mediterranean. Which really surprised me cuz I didn't know what to expect. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. She made really good cocktails. She put me on something called paper plane which was really good and told me this whole story about the liquor and how it's a dessert drink in Italy. Food wise I got her recommendations. They are known for their brussel sprouts, which I wasn't the biggest fan of I thought they were just okay. Chicken was the best dish. Great recommendation definitely recommended. I love the whole vibe and the way the restaurant is set up. Huge beautiful chandelier in the middle.

Incline Public House, named after the historic Cincinnati inclines, offers a relaxed atmosphere and an American menu. Situated in the original location of the Price Hill House Restaurant, it provides stunning views of downtown Cincinnati from its seasonal outdoor deck. The restaurant is known for its delicious American cuisine served for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests can savor popular pizzas like the Prosciutto Fig or create their own with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
10/10 Recommend! My family and I loved everything about this place. The views, the food, and the service were awesome! The Short Rib Poutine was good, but the Grippos-Crusted Mac & Cheese Bites stole the show! We will order more of these next time! We also ordered the Caprese, Garbage, and Deluxe Spicy Italian Pizzas. All very good, but I think Garbage won my vote as the best of the 3 (it was close). We will definitely be back to try more of these menu items!

We had a pizza, fish and chips and Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Iced tea was weak and bland. Overall, the view was the attraction. Was getting quite busy when we left around 730pm. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous.

I googled "best place for lunch in Cincy" when we came for a visit...Incline came up first. A great experience! Our server Alyssa was just the best! Nice, knowledgeable and super friendly! Will for sure visit again. A SPECTACULAR VIEW.

Otto's is a charming American bistro located in Covington, Kentucky, offering a refined and intimate dining experience. The restaurant is known for its delightful brunch featuring unique twists on classic dishes, such as the Eggs Benedict served on a cheesy bacon grit cake with country ham. The cozy interior adorned with local art and eclectic salt and pepper shakers creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meal.
Loved the ambience, food and ofcourse the detailing of the interiors as well. It is a good blend of artsy, elevated, chic design with beautiful details! Perfect for a date night with great food options. Their fried green tomatoes is the best I’ve ever had! We had the berry salad and the pork chop and the pork chop was pretty good! Our server was Anya and she was wonderful and so was the rest of the staff, were friendly and accommodating and had the best recommendations!

Otto's elevates the dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and a menu bursting with fresh, flavorful dishes. The food is beautifully presented, featuring a variety of fresh and flavorful options. The Brie Berry Salad is a standout, with its mix of grapes, brie, and blueberries complemented by caramelized pecans. The Burrata dish, served with roasted cherry tomatoes and garlic, is rich and satisfying, especially with the toasted baguette. The Chicken Salad sandwich with candied pecans and mixed greens is a tasty choice, paired perfectly with sweet potato fries. The menu also includes creative specials like the Seared Salmon with Thai chili sauce. Eric’s exceptional service made the meal even more enjoyable. A must-visit!

We went here off of a recommendation from family. We can see why. It was comfort food with a New Orleans twist. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta dish. I love how the chicken was shredded, you could taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the sauce was gravy-like and creamy. My fiancé had the braised short ribs which was tender, it said it reminded him of home mama used to make. There was a hint of nostalgia in each dish. The fried green tomatoes a tasty appetizer to begin with. It is a quaint, little place. It can be a little loud. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and inattentive at times, but overall that doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

Went to Otto's for an early Halloween dinner. We were seated right away and the service was great throughout. They have a great bourbon and beer menu. The place has a great atmosphere. Everything we had was terrific. The cornbread, flatbread , and tomato soup were all fantastic. The short ribs were split up for us and were so tender and delicious. The veggies, mashed potatoes, and the gravy were amazing. Loved our time there.

Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. And I also wanted to compliment Annie M.

Squash curry soup! Cornbread! Pan seared bone-in pork chop!! Braised shortrib!!! Carrot cake! Best short rib in the area and the jus - wow! Great service. The place is a little loud but will definitely be back.

Otto’s has been a Covington staple since 2003, and it’s easy to see why. I had the filet, cooked perfectly and elevated by an incredible blue cheese sauce that tied everything together. My wife’s sea scallops were buttery, fresh, and seared to perfection. The service was friendly, the atmosphere warm and welcoming — the kind of classic spot that’s been doing things right for over 20 years. We’ll definitely be back.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday, likely not the best time in terms of service, but we were served relatively quickly given the time, and the food was delicious. I joined the clean plate club. Bathrooms are one seaters; there's a big one upstairs.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Pompilios is a charming Italian restaurant located in Newport, Kentucky, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Established in 1933, this family-friendly spot has gained local affection and even made appearances in movies like 'Rain Man' and 'Airborne.' The founder, Colonel Pompilio, holds the distinction of securing Kentucky's first post-Prohibition liquor license. The menu features classic Italian dishes such as homemade lasagna, manicotti, and veal.
It is a fantastic spot for authentic Italian cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing. I ordered the Shrimp Ronaldo and the Italian Sampler Platter for my entrée, risotto balls as an appetizer, and finished with tiramisu for dessert—all of which were excellent. The patio has a great setup, making it a lovely place to dine outdoors. Inside, the décor and ambiance add to the restaurant’s charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While service was a bit slower on a Tuesday night, I must say it was well worth the wait. The only downside is the parking—it can be a challenge to find a spot nearby. However, if the weather is nice, parking at the Levee and taking a short walk is a great alternative. Overall, Pompilio’s is a must-visit for anyone looking for quality Italian food in a cozy and welcoming setting. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful! Great for a date night. The food was incredible! Highly recommend the Risotto balls for appetizer & Cannoli for desert! We loved this place! (Atmosphere was a bit loud, probably due to volume of customers)

Visited this afternoon and had a fantastic experience. Our waitress Abby was a sweetheart and took very good care of us. I had the Veal Parm and my wife had the Italian Sampler. Our food was well prepared and very delicious. We also shared the Antipasto Salad which was also amazing. We had the Tiramisu for desert and it just might have been the best I ever had. Thank you Pompillio’s and Abby for making our day.

Love the ambience! On a warm summer day it teleports you to a Mediterranean paradise! Love the vibe of the place, the decor is fun and the staff is warm! Overall the food felt very comforting and it was a home style cooking which felt refreshing! Fun fact : The restaurant also featured in the award winning film Rain Man!

Just left our fav local Italian restaurant. Have been going to Pompillos for many years! Tonight, I ordered a simple penne pasta dish for $17.09. I added an order of 1 meatball for $2.29 (pricing acceptable) and then also ordered one Italian Sausage….. Get THIS ..$8.69 FOR ONE SUSAGE…. Over a 50% in cost of the price of the pasta order!!!! I pay about 1/2 this amount at some of the “finer restaurants in Manhattan, and yes, they are homemade as well!!! Unbelievable! The sausage is good…. But not $8.69 good. It should have been priced more comparable to the meatball …. With some slight up-charge for the ingredients. Never again… our business will go to another local Italian restaurant going forward.

We ended up finding street parking right outside the business. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and seated promptly. Our server was working a big party next to us but was attentive to our tables needs. Our food arrived, lobster Ravioli and penned with vodka sauce, both were sub-par and not what we expected after being recommended to try this place. The noodles did not taste fresh, vodka sauce wasn't flavorful/tastie and my meal seemed tobhave suce and cheese on it and then microwaved. The seafood Ravioli sauce was not tasty and again, the pasta tasted old. We ordered a cease salad and requested to share it and they brought us 2 plates with it already split for us. Lighting was dim. Can't remember if there was a TV since we sat all the way down in the back. Staff was friendly and constantly checked in on us. They close at 9pm but we're still taking customers at 8:30pm.

This is a great place for a meal after attending an event in downtown Cincinnati. The service is as good as you will ever experience. The atmosphere is wonderful; quiet and vintage. The 'Shrimp Ronaldo' is excellent; there are so many great flavors. The lasagna is a huge serving. But, it's not prepared the way I am accustomed. To me, it seemed dry and too much like an overbaked casserole. The fried ravioli appetizer was a little disappointing. The meat and cheese fillings are excellent. But, our order came out with quite a bit of black soot on it. I wonder if after frying, it was warmed up in something like a pizza oven. It was not at all crispy. But it tasted a little burnt. The marinara sauce that came with it was fantastic, though. The 'tiramisu' was absolutely delicious. I do believe their recipe is completely original. I didn't taste any espresso / coffee flavor. And, instead of cocoa powder sprinkled on top, it had a lot of Hershey syrup poured on. The serving was more than the two of us could eat. I wish that they could include just a small dinner salad or cup of soup with the entrées. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Pompilios.

Chef Stephen Williams established the restaurant as a pioneer in embracing local and sustainable farming. With deep relationships with over 50 local farmers, the menu is constantly evolving to showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Such an amazing experience. Bouquet has such a fantastic modern urban vide while keeping traditional architecture of old Covington. The food was all completely unique and balanced with a wide variety of offerings. The tapas style helped to sample a variety of fantastic options. The wine/drink pairings helped to build upon the dining experience. The staff was superb with top notch service and offered great suggestions upon our palate. Alexandra, our server was so attentive and kind the whole experience. We 100% recommend Bouquet!

This is honestly one of the best tasting restaurants I’ve had in the Cincinnati area. It’s a small menu but they do it will and are very good at adapting to dietary restrictions. My wife got tofu subbed in the risotto dish that originally had fish and it was still amazing! I will be back to try a few more dishes because everything tasted healthy and refreshing. It’s an older building but they stay true to their roots of farm to table. Certainly would recommend for a date night!

My second time for the dinner tasting menu, and everything was just as excellent the second time. Impeccable service both times, and the tasting menu is well worth the price in my opinion. Absolutely perfect place to celebrate an anniversary!

This was quite the dining experience. From the first bite, everything was a flavor explosion. Some flavors were greatly appreciated and others appealed to different palates, nonetheless it was excellent and entertaining to try as much as possible. Great place for a close group willi g to share some bites amongst each other. Superb date night spot with Menue Course selections and additional wine pairings if needed. Pricey buy worth it ! Great atmosphere and superb servers just not a traditional dining experience so know what you're getting into but I highly recommend the culinary journey. Enjoy !

The Original Pancake House is a beloved diner chain that has been serving classic American breakfast favorites since the 1950s. With multiple locations, this casual, family-style restaurant offers all-day breakfast featuring signature pancakes and other traditional dishes like omelets and biscuits with gravy. The star of the menu is their extensive selection of pancakes, ranging from simple options like chocolate chip or blueberry to more unique choices such as Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and whipped butter.
The menu goes beyond pancakes, featuring delicious crepes, omelets, and a variety of breakfast proteins. Ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous, ensuring great value for diners. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for families or casual meet-ups. Service tends to be friendly and efficient, although peak hours can lead to a wait. Overall, The Original Pancake House is a fantastic choice for breakfast lovers. Whether you're craving sweet or savory, this spot has something to satisfy every palate. Highly recommend!

While visiting Cincinnati for a weekend getaway, we found The Original Pancake House through a Google search. This is a super neat and very attractive restaurant that is in a strip mall, but is distinguished by its lovely yellow and white striped awning. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the hostess station and seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helped us in deciding what to order from their extensive menu. I had the corn beef hash with poached eggs and rye toast and my husband had the Michaels Special which was eggs Benedict with sausage and sauteed mushrooms and came with a side of potato pancakes. We both had their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious and service was stellar. I think the star of the show was the potato pancakes. Overall this was a flawless meal and anytime I am in Cincinnati, I will be eating here.

Absolutely amazing service, despite being very busy on a Sunday morning! The Dutch baby was unbelievably tasty but the shining star was the apple pancake! We couldn’t come close to finishing either as the portions are huge, but we certainly enjoyed every single bite we could fit in!
Nici — Google review
The portions are big and the people are friendly here. We had the western omelet breakfast with 3 buttermilk pancakes. The omelet uses four eggs, so it was quite hearty. There was nothing special about the pancakes, though that came with the omelet. The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good. They were very busy, but the service was fast enough. We got a window seat, which was nice, but there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. We asked the waiter to kill the fly 🪰 and he grabbed a magazine from somewhere and murdered the fly. The clientele was of the older generation. The locals seem to like this pancake house. We met some very friendly locals there and they gave this place very high marks. Overall, I felt like the food was average, but I would come back here again.
The L — Google review
I went here with my boyfriend for a breakfast date. IHOP called me after, but this place had me saying "New number, who dis?" If you want that old diner feel without the grime, try this place. If you regret it, well maybe you were rude to the staff because their food is 🔥
Brittany H — Google review
The Original Pancake House has fantastic food—there's no denying it. Every time I go, the pancakes are fluffy, the eggs are cooked perfectly, and the bacon is smokey. It’s the kind of breakfast that hits the spot every time. However, there are some major downsides. The hours are weird and inconsistent, so don’t count on it being open when you think it should be. Service is okay—some servers are friendly and efficient, others not so much, but you’ll usually get what you need without much hassle. Now for the biggest issue: the place is filthy. The ceiling tiles are stained from water damage, the ceiling fans and lights are absolutely caked in dust, and the walls are chipped, worn-out wood that looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. The floors are consistently slippery, which feels both gross and unsafe. If they ever did a deep clean and freshened up the place, it could easily be a 5-star breakfast spot. But until then, just know you’re trading a delicious meal for a dingy environment. Oh... And it's overpriced.
Staci W — Google review
The portion sizes are HUMONGOUS!!! I got an omelet and it was the size of the ENTIRE PLATE. Not just the length of the plate. Im talking the CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE ENTIRE PLATE!!! I literally got 3 meals out of it. I took a girlfriend there for her first time. Asked our waitress a recommendation. She got the Dutch Pancake with strawberries and lemon. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head when she ate that and instantly said she was bringing her husband there for a meal. I wish I could give the 10 STARS!!!!

KungFood Amerasia is a quirky Taiwanese restaurant located in Covington, offering a diverse menu of Chinese dishes and an extensive selection of craft beers. The restaurant's eclectic decor features Kung Fu movie posters and paper lanterns, creating a unique and comfortable dining atmosphere. Known for its laid-back vibe, excellent service, and delicious food, Amerasia is a popular spot in Northern Kentucky. Dishes like the Dragon Breath wontons and General Chu's orange sesame street chicken are favorites among patrons.
Excellent food, great table service and the food came out super fast. The sesame chicken level 3 was perfect. Level 4 is where the heat really begins. The apps are fantastic as well. The pork egg roll and dumplings were delicious. Definitely will be returning.

4 of us ate here on a Friday evening while cycle touring. We all had appetizers, drinks, and entrees. Though not expensive or “fine dining”, all of us agreed that this is an exceptionally good and well-balanced restaurant. One of the best, and cycle touring has given us the full range. All staff cheerful, helpful, well-informed, and handoff well. Perfectly seasoned, delicious, and healthy meals. Very interesting decor, lively and happy patrons, background music well chosen and at right volume for conversation. Highly recommended!

I had a fun and unexpected experience walking past Kungfood on my way to another restaurant but was drawn in by its clever and overtly Asian pop-culture vibe. The eclectic interior draws from all kinds of Asian cinema and cultural references, making it visually fascinating. The shotgun-style space is cozy, with the bar and dining area up front, the kitchen in the middle, and a quirky back section with restrooms, a small shop selling drinks and knickknacks, and another bar where you pick up takeout. I noticed four tables pushed together in the back and asked a server about them—they turned out to be Mahjong tables! I’m not sure if they host game nights or if the owners just love Mahjong, but it adds to the charm. The food was delicious. You can stick with American-style Chinese favorites or venture into more authentic dishes—many of which have a Taiwanese influence, as the owners are from Taiwan. Overall, it’s a wonderful little place I plan to revisit, especially to bring friends who haven’t experienced Taiwan or who would appreciate the colorful, graphic eye candy. I’d also love to see what it’s like here at night!

Unfortunately, I cannot review this place highly. I have tried both dine in and carry out. The portions are laughably small on the carryout side, especially with the way the economy is right now. $12.99 here, and I could go walk to Bridges right down the street which will give me a ton of food for a similar price, not to mention a variety in what I receive. The atmosphere here is amazing - one of the most interesting looking restaurants I've been to in a long time. Unfortunately, the reality is that the food simply does not match the atmosphere. The portions you receive for carry out should be about 2x where it is right now to be worth the squeeze. Outside of portions, the food itself is... okay at best. Less flavorful than your traditional hole-in-the-wall carryout joint, too. I would recommend finding one of those styles of restaurants and avoiding this one altogether based on the price tag. The amount of time waited for carry out was also high. All that said, this is maybe my biggest disappointment when it comes to eating in Covington. Especially with my personality and interests, this seems like it would be a perfect place to eat and grab a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is far outclasses the food -- and let's not forget that the food is THE most important aspect of ANY place to eat, especially in this economy.
V K — Google review
I got chicken and mixed vegetables and the big Bertha egg roll, the egg roll was tasty but the veggie version was very one note and tasted mostly of cabbage. It would be nice if they modified the mix with some different things like shredded carrots or something. Everything was very tasty and it was a nice bar with a very neat atmosphere

9/11/25 After a hospital visit, my husband and I stopped at Echo for breakfast. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce and the country boy style. Both tasted good and were prepared well. My husband had Steph’s Sampler and added bananas and chocolate chips as toppings, though we later found out that came with an extra charge. The pancakes themselves were okay, but a little underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and polite, and I appreciated how quickly we were served, and able to get out. The place is very mom and pop feel. Overall, it was a decent breakfast and convenient stop, but nothing that stood out enough for me to want to make a return visit.

A sweet little place tucked in amongst the buildings located in Hyde Park was definitely a find!!! Just a small diner with alot of old charm. We enjoyed the Baked Caramel apple French toast, omelet w/ homefries, Steph's sampler and the Hot Mess. Highly recommend as your next breakfast hot spot! Coppin's Restaurant & Bar, located at Hotel Covington, pays homage to the building's history as Coppins Department Store. The restaurant offers locally sourced New American fare and cocktails in a rustic-chic gastropub setting. The menus are designed for sharing and feature influences from both Northern and Southern neighbors of Covington. The establishment highlights local craft beers, cider, sodas, wine, and cocktails on draft.
Amazing vibe at the place! Grabbed a late lunch between stops on the B-Line (NKY Bourbon Trail) and it did not disappoint!!!! The atrium is amazing but the quaint patio is even more so! We had it to ourselves this afternoon and our waitress was amazing with her drink and food recommendations. The Liquid Knowledge was amazing and the Tater Tots were unique- I’ve never experienced anything like them. Crispy but soft flaky layers with crunch in between the inner layers? Crazy good!

Alright, let's dive into the amazing world of Coppin's restaurant and bar. This place is a gem, and here's why: First off, let me talk about Chris, the bar tender extraordinaire. This guy is a magician behind the bar. His drinks are so balanced and delicious, you'll question whether he's secretly an alchemist. I've had my fair share of espresso martinis, but Chris's is in a league of its own. It's like he's pouring liquid gold into your glass, and every sip is a symphony of flavors. The vibe at Coppin's is electric. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and let the good times roll. The decor is on point, the staff is friendly, and the energy is so good, you'll want to stay all night. But back to Chris—this guy is more than just a bar tender; he's an artist. His creativity with cocktails is off the charts, and he's got this uncanny ability to read what you need in a drink. I swear, he's like a long-lost brother, always there to make your night better. So, if you're looking for a place that combines great food, amazing drinks, and an atmosphere that's unbeatable, Coppin's is the spot. Come here with an open mind and a thirst for something special, and you won't be disappointed. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and you might just find a new best friend behind the bar.

We would give 10 stars if we could!!! 🌟🌟🌟 We recently dined at Coppin’s Restaurant in Covington, KY and let’s just say — we left our taste buds in orbit! The atmosphere was classy yet cozy, the service was top-notch, and the food? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. 🌍💫 We were celebrating the annual visit of a dear friend from Germany 🇩🇪, but after a meal like this, we refuse to wait another year to return! Let’s break it down: 🥇 My mother-in-law — who has a very discerning palate — declared the salmon the BEST she’s ever had! 🥇 I devoured the scallops with… wait for it… LIMA BEANS. 🫘🔥 I would go to the ends of the earth for those lima beans — buttery, tender, and totally unforgettable. 🥇 And the grand finale: Strawberry Rhubarb Galette 🍓🥧 — tart, sweet, flaky perfection. A mic-drop moment for dessert! We left floating on a foodie cloud and already plotting our return. Thank you, Coppin’s, for turning an annual reunion into a culinary celebration! 🎉 #CoppinsCovington #CovingtonEats #GermanFriendsAndGoodFood #FoodieHeavenKY #ScallopLoversUnite #LimaBeanLove #RealEstateEats #ProvenHomeProsApproved #KentuckyBites #GreaterCincyDining #HouseHuntersAndHungryBellies

The service was excellent, food was average and very expensive for a simple pasta dish which I could make at home for a couple dollars. The chairs are huge and ceilings are extremely high. It felt like dining in a rotunda. They have a huge selection of Kentucky Bourbon and, if you are a fan, this might be a great place to try.

We stayed at Hotel Covington for three nights for honeymoon and ate twice at Coppin’s. The first time we had pork belly, coppin salad and steak, and second time we had tuna, coppin salad, salmon and potato tots. The food overall was very tasty and impressed my picky hubby :) We wanted to give special thanks to our servers, both were wonderful and extremely friendly! They heard about we were on honeymoon trip and offered free dessert and champion toast. Unfortunately we forgot first server’s name, the second time was Carina. Carina noticed that I don’t do alcohol so she provided same-taste, alcohol-free sparking drink to me, alongside with champion to my hubby, how thoughtful was that! Thank you!

I chose this place for my sisters birthday because I love the esthetics. When we got there we waited a little longer than usual for the waitress to come to our table. Not sure if she was a manager but a women named JAMIE took great care of us. She made my sisters birthday lunch the best. JAMIE deserves to be promoted for being so kind and attentive to us!!!! We will definitely go back but only if JAMIE is there lol

Tried this place for the first time last night for date night. My girlfriend had been here before and enjoyed it, so we decided to give it a shot. We arrived around 8 PM on a busy Saturday night. They took our name and quoted a 30-minute wait, which wasn’t a problem—we grabbed a drink at a nearby bar while we waited. When our table was ready, we were seated in an overflow dining area next door. The decor and ambiance were similar to the main restaurant, so no complaints there. Service started off fine but declined pretty quickly. There were about seven tables in our section, plus a bar area. One of the tables was a large group, but they were already finished eating when we walked in and left shortly after. So not a lot of folks on our side. We ordered drinks, chips and queso, and our entrées. The drinks came out quickly and were good, and the chips and queso followed soon after. The queso itself was just okay—nothing memorable, but a decent snack while waiting for our main dishes. For my meal, I ordered a taco flight with the Plain Jane, the Happy Pappy, and the Filthy Fajita. The Plain Jane was the best of the three, but still nothing special. The Happy Pappy was just okay—the carnitas were a bit dry. The Filthy Fajita, however, was straight-up bad. The steak was so tough I had to spit it out, and I ended up removing it from the taco entirely. On top of that, I could tell my tacos had been sitting for a while based on how the queso had hardened—definitely not ideal. My girlfriend ordered the Birria Ramen (which we heard is being removed from the menu soon) and the Becky taco. The ramen was pretty good—not the best birria we’ve had, but it got the job done. Thankfully, she had a better taco experience than I did—she really enjoyed The Becky. The wait for our food was long, but given how busy they were (and the time needed to cook the ramen), it was somewhat understandable. What wasn’t understandable was how long it took to get our check once we finished eating. By this point, the room had mostly emptied out, but despite our server clearly seeing that we were done, we sat for what felt like forever waiting to pay. It felt like we were on their time, which was frustrating. All in all, this place won’t be getting a return visit from me. The service was subpar, and the food wasn’t worth the $80 tab. For that price, I know we could have had a much better meal—and experience—somewhere else.

Awesome food and good service but...........if I order a drink and you bring me the wrong drink why am I paying for both!!! Ordered a pineapple margarita without jalapenos and was brought the one with jalapenos. I was just going to suck it up, but the manager came with a new one and said there was a mistake. The server even came and said she took someone else's drink. No big deal but was still charged for three drinks. Wow just wow! I have never been charged for a servers mistake before. Had I noticed this at the restaurant I would have disputed it right then and there. Bad bad business!

This is a place I went to for the first time because I saw a video online with their Crispy Chicken Burrito and I had to try it. While the one in the video had a bit more filling, it was still delicious and I would 100% recommend you to come here and try their delicious food!! The agave BBQ jam was ridiculous and I would probably enjoy anything with this stuff on top of it!! If you’re around any of their locations, I say give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

I love it here! The art inside is so different and makes this place so aesthetically pleasing. I love the selection of bourbon and tequila!! Definitely some premium spirits at this bar. Stephanie made my experience even better with her knowledge of the menu and suggested the grilled chicken burrito. Never had Mac and cheese and bacon in a burrito with barbecue sauce! Tastes amazing and this is a great start to my first time in Covington. Moving to the area soon and definitely will be back!!!

Stopped in for breakfast one morning in April. We were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed the pancakes, eggs, and chicken & waffles - everything was properly prepared and seasoned. Would visit again.

Food was just okay - Cincinnati’s flavors are unique, not amazing. I think depending on where you sit, you’ll smell sewer. We requested to be moved to a booth and we could no longer smell the sewer (or whatever it was). I was also annoyed with the service.

Their menu features classic breakfast options like omelets, pancakes, bacon, as well as more unique offerings such as tofu scramble, vegan sausages, and ginger coconut sweet potato soup.
This restaurant deserves the title of “the BEST IN CINCINNATI”. Chill and bright atmosphere. Always packed, very popular. Pancakes were huge and fluffy . Even the gluten-free pancakes came out fluffy and very tasty. don’t forget the syrup and other sauce they added to the various pancakes. they were delicious to the core and ingredients are all sourced locally. Avo toast were unique, came with so much healthier ingredients. Sandwiches stacked high and yummy. I was full on half of it. Definitely can be shared. We also like the puréed seasonal soup and all the coffee drinks. Service was SUPER … down to earth attitude, knowledgeable of the items on menu, friendly and efficient. Value: worth every penny. Reasonable for the quality of the ingredients you can get here.

One of my favorite places to go since I started eating out regularly. Extremely relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, kind and more than accommodating staff, and above all a great menu. If you prefer straight forward and delicious food without needing to overthink your choice, you'll appreciate the one and a half page menu where every option I've tried has been delicious. Great breakfast spot especially!

We had an amazing experience here. The service was welcoming, and we didn't have to wait long to get to our table. The food was good. I wish they had fresh strawberries for the pancake, as most pancake places do. The coffees were great, especially the latte. We would highly recommend this spot, but be prepared to wait for a table, especially on weekends.

This was the perfect fresh breakfast I’ve been searching for. Food was delicious, staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. The “Bee Cake” pancakes piqued my interest and my waitress was happy to explain. Basically, it’s a gluten free pancake made with honey and pollen that helps the dough raise like a “normal” pancake. However it had a surprisingly familiar mouth feel and a welcomed nutty flavor! Couldn’t be happier! The breakfast sandwich I got was also delicious and fresh. Truly enjoyed this breakfast so much, I might say it’s the best part of the whole city!

First time coming to this place and will never return. It was slightly busy but waiters were just standing around talking to each other. We had to go up to a server to be put on the waitlist and they had told us it’s about a 10-15 minute wait, turned out to be 25-30. Finally got sat and the waitress that was her first day today was very polite and gave us water (she was doing amazing!), our actual waitress took our drink order and didn’t bring out the actual drinks til 10-15 minutes later. I’m assuming smoothies shouldn’t be room temp and melted, she took our food order the same time as drinks and they had been sitting in the window for quite a bit of time. The eggs weren’t hot anymore and had a rubbery texture to them, the potatoes were started to taste cold. Our waitress had only checked up on us once and felt like she was ignoring our table while talking to her coworkers more. Payed a total of 44 dollars just to enjoy warm smoothies and rubbery eggs, Atleast the place was pretty and aesthetic. Our waitresses name was Alejandra R.

Amazing place! We walked into the Sleepy Bee in downtown Cincinnati and, after a short 15-minute wait, got our table. Atmosphere was busy and vibrant, with perfect lighting, cozy, modern, and full of energy. It’s truly the perfect spot for a Saturday late brunch. Our server, Sophia, was wonderful, kind, informative, and full of joy. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was thrilled to see so many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options on the menu. Honestly, it’s a 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back probably a hundred times! Don’t miss this gem!
Andre Y — Google review
Unfortunately this place did not come near to satisfying our party of 4. We each ordered a meal that was subpar. Our “chorizo” meals did not have typical “chorizo”, just plain breakfast sausage in the scrambled eggs and burrito. When we inquired about the strange choice of “chorizo”, their response was different areas use different sausage as their chorizo. WTH kind of response was that? In that case just put breakfast sausage in your menu item descriptions, not “chorizo”. The food was subpar and took a long time to come out to our table as we watched it just getting dryer and dryer on the kitchen counter. Unfortunately, the food and the service equal in their subpar nature. We had to ask for water, creamers, sugars for coffee, etc. We will definitely never be going back. The ONLY good thing was the oatmeal I ordered. We had to order another one to go so my wife could eat something satisfying. In total, we had pancakes, burritos, scrambled “chorizo” eggs, egg and bacon platter, and oatmeal. Overall review would be a 1 out of 10.

Love sleepy bee, but got takeout from this location and the quality was terrible. Each meal had only TWO potatoes as a side. TWO! The potatoes are my favorite part, and they came unseasoned, with none of the promised sauce. I’d recommend going somewhere else, unless you want to be ripped off.

Delicious - first time visit. Our server was Gina excellent server and pleasant, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our meals were superb. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. We had a great experience here! The food was delicious. It was setup such that you order all of your courses at the beginning, and then the team staggers the arrival of the food at a pace such that you're not waiting long between courses, but also not rushed. It was hard to narrow down exactly what we wanted because the menu looked so good. The house made ricotta bread was some of the best bread I've ever had. They don't have a dessert menu, so go in knowing that. They leave you with like an Italian cookie when they bring the bill. It was good! Overall, would highly recommend! The service and waiting staff was friendly and professional too.

We had a really nice late lunch here. We were running late but they still accomodated us. Our server was extremely kind and made lots of great food recommendations. We loved everything we ordered, especially the pesto and meatball pasta. The seafood on the ravioli was a little too pungent for me, not as light fresh tasting as I hoped. Wine list was pretty easy to navigate and I was pleasantly surprised by some awesome glass pour options that weren't just lame/cheap house wines. We sat upstairs in the veranda near a window, which we great on a sunny afternoon. (I have sat in the basement before but didn't love it.) Still surprised and disappointed by thunderdome restaurants not offering desserts, even at Pepp. But the limocello service almost made up for it.

This place will always be a hit. Upstairs is a little more loud and casual with a beautiful patio while downstairs offers a moody date night scene. The spicy vodka will always be a hit and the house made ricotta is dreamy. You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

Libby's Southern Comfort is a cozy former grocery store turned restaurant in Covington, offering a blend of Midwest and Southern cuisines. The menu features classic comfort dishes like mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, po' boys, and crowd-pleasing fried chicken. In addition to these staples, the restaurant also incorporates influences from Cincinnati and northern Kentucky with unique offerings such as goetta hush puppies and pimento cheese fritters.
First time trying Libby’s and the food did not disappoint. The fried chicken sandwich was massive and the batter was light and crispy. I could eat this sandwich weekly. The fries were 10/10 and the flavor on the oyster po boy was great; super soft bread. Service was attentive and drinks were good. The dessert menu looked incredible. I was really hoping the crème pies were available, sadly sold out! We snagged a bread pudding to go and it barely made it home! We will definitely be throwing Libby’s into our dinner rotation.

The food was good. (The wife wanted more southern choices). The portobello sandwich was messy but tasty. You’ll just need to ask for extra napkins. The hot honey chicken sandwich was tasty as well, would have preferred it to be a little more messy though. The seasons fries were crispy and had great flavor. We liked the atmosphere, it was open with a rustic decor. We were there during great weather so it was open air which made it even more pleasant. Service was very good. Definitely recommend.

Libby’s Southern Comfort is incredible! My best friend and I stopped here for lunch during our girls trip, and I’m still thinking about it. The hot honey chicken sandwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mac n cheese? Unreal. Creamy, rich, and totally unforgettable. The restaurant has a modern, welcoming vibe, and our server was amazing—so friendly and full of great energy. Even though I live four hours away, I’ve already told everyone I know about this place. I’m 100% coming back with my husband. Libby’s is a must-visit!
Gena H — Google review
Stopped in at Libby’s at 2:45 today (Saturday) for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty other than one table of four. We made it halfway across the restaurant and were asked to wait a moment while the bartender/hostess cleaned a table. She didn’t bother to wipe down the booth seat which was covered in sesame seeds and other debris. Once seated, our server quickly came by to get our drink order. The entire visit, the bartender/hostess and two servers were either on their phones, sitting with the other occupied table and talking loudly, or visibly eating food in the kitchen. Our server was the only floor staff who kept herself busy refilling straws, cleaning, refilling sugars, etc. I ordered the shrimp roll and Southern Mac and cheese with a sweet tea. Hubby ordered the two piece chicken with Mac and cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The shrimp roll description gave the impression of big flavors. The only real flavor came from the Grippos bbq chips. There was an excellent quantity of shrimp, but even with the old bay/mayo seasoning it was bland. I was excited for the Southern Mac and cheese - but was disappointed in the flavor as well. No cheesy flavor, no southern kick at the end, not even a bread crumb. It was almost like plain Mac noodles with cheddar melted on top. Hubby’s fried chicken was better. Good crunch on the chicken skin, nice brine albeit a little salty. The meat was super juicy. His Mac and cheese was also mediocre. The fries were tasty, but not house made. The biscuit was “fine”. The sweet tea was perfect. I’ve never in my life had bland Southern food until today. My husband’s granny from Alabama would not approve.
Jen M — Google review
Libby’s was fun to visit with friends for dinner, its location is quaint and is a bit small, but there is ample outdoor seating if you don’t mind the heat. High level, service was great & food was good, but there was nothing memorable enough on the menu to make me desire to return. The fried green tomato batter was thin which caused it to flake off when I cut into it. Wouldn’t order again. The avocado sandwich was good. I had to cut the sandwich myself upon arrival. The fries were tasty too. Service was great, they executed all of our dietary modifications excellently. One callout out- the lack of other tables/customers had the waitress rushing our meal unintentionally.

Visited on a Saturday around dinner time. Busy but not slammed. No wait for a 2 top table. Server was great! Checked back often but was not pushy or made us feel rushed at all. Drinks: Cherrwine Bourbon Slush FTW! This is a great cocktail. Appetizer: Goetta Hush Puppies - The reason we came. Weird texture; I'm sure from the combo. Not off putting, just different from expectations. I was expecting typical, light brown southern hush puppies with a little goetta. They were dark, almost burnt and tasted that way. No goetta flavor, no light batter... Very disappointing. 1/10. The remoulade sauce was great but couldn't save them. Food: Hot Honey chicken sandwich was great! Very crispy and juicy...not an easy combo. Hot Honey sauce was perfect..slight heat, sweet and not too much of it to be over powering! Bun was perfectly toasted! 10/10 would order again. Cole Slaw (on the side). Not sure if it was homemade or food service, but great flavor, not overly dry or moist. Nearly a perfect slaw. Picked onions were STRONG! (I'm not a fan of picked onions in general so....) Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Where's the garlic? Very little flavor of any kind in this scoop of mashed potatoes. Ordinary and plain. Nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. 3/10 Willy Burger. Great flavor, albeit very dry. Smoky undertones. Hate to ruin the flavor with a condiment, but was necessary due to dryness. 6/10 = Would be higher but can you say DRY! Southern Mac n Cheese. Better than the mashed potatoes. Good flavor, gooey cheese. 8/10 Overall, 4 cocktails ($40 - not bad at all!) , 2 sandwiches and an appetizer ($57).... Total: $97 pre tip. (don't forget the 3% credit card fee! I mean, come on! Yes it is clearly on the menu but who honestly goes out with that much cash for a meal these days!?) So $100 and $10 to park in the lot across the street. Wasn't busy and no close on street or free parking (maybe there is but not familiar enough with the area to know). $130 meal that wasn't impressive or anything special. YMMV.

We did the duck and Burgundy wine dinner and it was delicious! The food, ambiance, and service was great! We also did the wine pairing and found each of the four wines to be unique and paired well with each food item. I find myself thinking about some of the food still - amazing!

My wife and I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and were absolutely thrilled to discover The Baker's Table in Newport, Kentucky! From the moment we walked in, Rachel, Jake, and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It's fantastic to find such a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in our new area. We opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu with the Non-Alcoholic Drink pairing, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish was a unique work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. One of the mocktails, featuring Carrot and Chrysanthemum, was so refreshing and delicious we joked about wanting a whole pitcher to enjoy on our deck at home! While every course was outstanding, the lamb ragu was a definite highlight. The flavors and textures were phenomenal, and the inclusion of what they called "lamb bacon" was truly one of the most delicious things I've tasted in a long time! What we also appreciated was that despite the high quality of the dining experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Even the background music had songs that made us smile and added an easy-going vibe. The intimate setting made us feel connected rather than lost in a large, bustling space. The staff was attentive and genuinely responsive to our needs. It's clear that The Baker's Table is a business that prioritizes sustainable practices and truly cares about the quality of their ingredients and the people they serve. We loved hearing the stories behind the beverages and the inspiration for each dish, and the fact that the menu changes monthly based on seasonal availability is something we greatly appreciate. Our first experience at The Baker's Table was truly memorable, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtful combinations. Our guests were raving about every course, and I honestly don’t think there was a bite left on anyone’s plate! What made the night even more memorable was the impeccable service. The team at The Baker's Table went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. From assisting with our unique requests to making sure everyone was taken care of without skipping a beat, we were truly impressed. They made us feel like family, ensuring that our rehearsal dinner was seamless and stress-free. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the evening because we knew we were in the best hands possible. The salmon and beet seems like a weird combination but was surprisingly good. The gnocchi has the best texture. Some of the best gnocchi I've had**. Very light. Steak was good, although I have had better. [Medium Rare] The pumpkin cheesecake was also delicious. Good balance of flavor and not being heavy consideriflng what it is. [The molasses gharam cracker crust is 👨🏽‍🍳 💋]

Highly recommend this restaurant for a special event! The food was absolutely delicious- we tried every dish on the menu and there wasn’t a single one that wasn’t incredible! Our server Jasmine, bartender Jake, and sommelier Ryan, as well as the rest of the staff, worked seamlessly together to provide a really great experience. The owner Dave came out to introduce himself- it’s always a good sign when the owner gets his hands dirty (metaphorically) and works with the staff to do what needs to be done. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and try a whole new round of dishes next season!

First Watch is a popular cafe chain known for its health-conscious breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Customers rave about the delicious dishes such as blueberry pancakes, banana pancakes, million dollar bacon, omelets, salads, soups, Asian pork belly, smoked salmon toast, lemon curd waffles and harvest donuts. The quality of the food is consistently great at all locations visited. The service is excellent with fast service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is relaxing despite being busy.
$$$$ be financially ready, Real nice opportunity Monday morning to stop in with my lovely bride as we sat and talked about the future growing old together and spending so much time with each other. The food was great just ordered eggs extra cold bacon and toast. Nice breakfast diner would like it if they were more booths that were comfortable and cozy but I understand all the seating can get people in and out fast. Just one drawback holy smoke the price was through the roof my wife had two eggs scrambled bacon and sausage with a coffee I had three eggs over easy extra bacon and coffee with a side of toast and it was with tip $55. Inflation does not explain this insane price. Seriously five single eggs if they were a dollar each would be five dollars Coffee literally not that much because it wasn’t that good bacon and sausage give it another five dollars. That’s $10 retail price and you charge $55? Holy smoke I have never paid that much for a simple breakfast in my entire life and probably never will again

We waited for quite a while (with our large party) to be seated, because it was so packed, and by no fault of anyone there. But it was so worth it for the delicious brunch we all enjoyed! I had the special Raspberry Ricotta French Toast and oh man, it was good. I’ve never had a bad experience at a First Watch. Highly recommend!!

I love first watch! It’s one of my favorite brunch spots. The menu has a ton of options and I love that you can substitute things you like, like what kind of eggs, and bread you like. They even have a gluten free bread option! The drinks are great as well. It’s totally worth trying. Definitely worth the price.

Everything has always been great at First Watch. We use the app to get in line which saves time. Servers are friendly and attentive and work to make your experience positive. The food was the issue today. We decided to try the new maple bacon croissant sandwich. Unfortunately there was NO bacon on the sandwich. We had to flag down our server who promptly got the bacon for us to add. The sandwich was really good once we had the bacon to add.

Still like favorite item: the trifecta with chicken sausage. Today enjoyed a healthy juice w/turmeric/beet/lemon/etc. Service quick & food served hot. Like quick checkout on phone. But server forgot to put in my to-go order I requested when I initially placed order.

I’m not from the area and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. That’s when I met the most amazing server, Allison! She was so kind and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. She even gave me the option to sit up front with her so she could keep me company — such a thoughtful gesture that truly made my visit special. Thank you, Allison, for going above and beyond!

Nestled in a former jail, Pig Candy BBQ is a culinary gem that serves up mouthwatering craft barbecue and homemade sauces. This unique spot takes pride in its on-site smoked meats and scratch-made sides. Their standout dishes include the inventive Pig Candy Waffle, which features pulled pork drizzled with a maple peach glaze, and classic favorites like mac n cheese topped with succulent pulled pork. For those looking to sample various flavors, their meat sampler offers an excellent way to indulge in multiple offerings.
Solid choice for BBQ. Staff was very friendly answering questions and offering recommendations. They have indoor seating along with a back patio and lower level picnic table area that is dog friendly. They also have a parking lot in the rear of the building.

This is the place for BBQ if u are ever in California Ohio. Ribs to die for and super moist tender brisket. Staff was extremely nice. I'm from Texas and this BBQ place is really good food.

Unique location, great food. I wanted just a couple of the meats, no extras, and they hooked me up for a great price. The pork rub was a bit salty, but not a problem for me. If I'm in the area again, I will be back. It's a great option before a concert at the nearby PNC pavilion.
Energy X — Google review
There are many BBQ restaurants in the Cincinnati area, and Pig Candy BBQ is near the top of my list. Located in the California neighborhood, out by Riverbend Music Center, sits this cozy restaurant that occupies a former jail. All meats are smoked on site and served fresh with a wonderful selection of sides and some fun specialty items like a waffle sandwich or quesadilla. I think their Bama Turkey sandwich is top of the menu for me. It combines thick-sliced turkey, layered with tomato, onion, and dill pickles, with white sauce on the side ($10). The turkey is really good, and I like having some additional toppings on the sandwich rather than just coleslaw. Sides can be added for $4 and include the pickled onion and peppers, which are awesome. Another unique item is the Pig Mac Bowl, a bowl of mac and cheese, topped with pulled pork, red sauce, and slaw ($10). This is a full meal in a bowl, and there is no need to add a side to it. It's a really good option. The pulled pork sandwich is topped with white and gold sauces plus slaw on the side ($8). Plenty of meat is piled high on the butter toasted bun, and it's full of smoke plus very tender. A full kids' menu is available, plus local craft beer, hard seltzers, wine, and mimosas. It's a wonderful place to stop before a concert or even for Sunday brunch.

Best barbecue I've ever had. Some of the best food I've had. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The restaurant is very clean, with a great vibe. The prices are great and the portions are good. The cornbread is amazing. I can't wait to go back.

This is one of my favorite BBQ places in Cincinnati. Favorite thing to order is the sausage sandwich with brisket as a side 10/10. I have tried most of their sides at this point they are ok at best nothing to write home about on anything iv had baked beans, cowboy beans, green beans , it’s all ok, not bad at all but nothing out of the ordinary. Grits are about the same just ok, but the meats here are where the show is , all the protein choices they offer are great as well ass the sauces. Brisket quesadilla is also pretty good but nothing beats that sausage sandwich with brisket as a side. Staff has never not been friendly and welcoming any time iv eaten here.

First time eating at Pig Candy did not disappoint. I had the brisket grilled cheese and my wife had the brisket sandwich and coleslaw. Grilled cheese was nicely cooked with a good portion of brisket and my wife’s brisket sandwich was also excellent, as was the slaw. Super friendly staff in a cool place. So happy to have you here because the bbq place we used to go to abandoned us and moved to Avondale, the joke was on them I believe. We’ll be back!

Nestled in the vibrant Kenwood Town Centre, Maggiano's Little Italy is a charming semi-upscale Italian restaurant that serves up classic dishes in a polished yet relaxed atmosphere. Known for its generous portions and quick service, this eatery offers an extensive menu featuring beloved favorites like fried mozzarella and spaghetti marinara. Perfect for large gatherings, Maggiano's also provides a full carryout menu to satisfy any crowd.
This is hands down the best Italian restaurant ever! I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. A few years ago, I even hosted my 16th birthday party in their private room, and it was such an incredible experience. The space was perfect for a big group, and they let me customize a menu with all the dishes I wanted it made the night so memorable for me and my guests. When it comes to food, everything here is amazing. My absolute favorites are the mushroom ravioli and the four cheese ravioli both are rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every single time. They used to have an artichoke dip that my family and I loved (we still talk about it!), and while I’m sad it’s no longer on the menu, there are still so many other appetizers worth trying. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. The atmosphere is just as great as the food the inside is absolutely gorgeous, warm, and welcoming, making every visit feel special. On top of that, the staff is always so kind, attentive, and professional. Whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a big celebration, this place is a gem!

We have always loved Maggiano's, and will often look for one when traveling. This location exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent, and it was the best classic lasagna we've ever had from any Maggiano's, and well above average overall. The salad and bread were also very good. Unfortunately, there is no more Marco's Meal, nor take home classic pastas. Still a great meal, but no longer a great value.

We were greeted quickly by the hostess as a walk-in for dinner. Our server was friendly and had made wonderful suggestions. The fried calamari is crispy and seasoned. The tiramisu was the best I’ve enjoyed in years. Moist with strong coffee and rich mascarpone. Halfway through our meal Mariana stopped by our table and is the most genuine good hearted person I met in all of Atlanta. (She asked about our meal, of course I expected.) But she went beyond that and thanked my husband for his service. She engaged with us about our visit to Atlanta and was actually listening not just nodding and checking off a table. Really felt the pride Mariana and Charles take in the restaurants family feel from food to service.

OLLA Taqueria, located on Blvd. in Covington, offers a delectable selection of Mexican-style street food. Their menu features an array of options including tacos, burritos, nachos, and Guti nachos with a choice of nine different meat or veggie fillings such as birria.
When you want good tacos, this is definitely a great choice. This location is a little tight for inside seating but the outdoor patio is spacious. Food is fresh and orders come out quick. Parking can be a little bit of a hassle with street parking only. All the tacos are great but the Birria tacos are special and recommended.

Omg! Thought we’d try them out for brunch. This place was so good! One of the staff suggested Birria Grilled Cheese and that I wasn’t going to regret it. And boy was she 💯 right!! I love how homey and inviting the atmosphere. So glad we stopped by and will definitely be coming back. Please check them out if you’re ever in the area.

This is definitely a hidden gem !! Employees are super nice and a lot of fun. Great environment inside and great outdoor space with TV. Food was great and so were the cocktails. Pulled pork nachos were so good and so was the pho noodles. They have about 10 different flavored frozen margaritas. Will definitely be going back !! Keep up the great work!!

I absolutely LOVE Olla's! The food. Is. Incredible. The business their togo/takeout gets speaks for itself- the food is so good. If you plan to dine inside, there is limited seating. They have a large patio if the weather permits. They are involved with the community as well, like throwing a Dia de los Muertes festival. Love Ollas!!

Finally made it out here for dinner with friends, and let me tell you - it absolutely lived up to the hype. While the indoor seating is a bit limited, the spacious patio more than makes up for it. It's a relaxed, order-at-the-bar setup: browse the menu ahead of time if you're indecisive like me. Once you order, they bring everything right to your table. The staff? Incredibly welcoming - genuinely kind and attentive from start to finish. Inside, there's a cool, cozy vibe with a vibrant mural that adds a great touch of character to the space. Now, let's talk drinks. My girlfriend ordered a frozen mango margarita with a sugar rim and - wow. Easily one of the best we've had. Super refreshing and perfectly balanced. We saw some other cocktails being served at nearby tables that looked just as tempting - we'll definitely be trying more on our next visit. The food, though... next level. I ordered the birria quesadilla and it was phenomenal. Seriously, the best birria I've ever had. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, packed with flavor, and perfectly complemented by just the right amount of cheese, onion, and cilantro. My girlfriend had the birria ramen - equally incredible. And the chips and guac? Smooth, flavorful, and addictive. Saying I "loved" this place doesn't do it justice. We'll absolutely be back - and if you haven't been yet, this is your sign. Easily one of the top spots in the area. Hands down.
James H — Google review
By far the best Mexican food I've had in the area, the Birria is to die for. You can tell the owners truly care about their craft and their community. It's gotta be one of the most friendly places I've ever been, they make everyone feel welcome. I'd advise anyone reading bad reviews to keep in mind the current climate, some folk just don't seem to like people that take pride in their communities for some reason. I'd also advise that if you're gonna get the Birria Grilled Cheese, get two.
Adam C — Google review

Casual, Flavorful, and Friendly – A Great Spot for Lunch in Covington Olla is a fairly new and very welcome addition to the Covington, Kentucky food scene. Located at the corner of MLK and Holman in a charmingly renovated house, this casual Mexican restaurant offers a relaxed and lively atmosphere. Seating includes a few indoor tables, an indoor counter, sidewalk tables out front, and a covered back patio that’s perfect for a sunny day. It’s a popular lunch destination—often bustling—and for good reason. The portions are generous, prices are moderate, and the menu sticks to traditional Mexican fare with satisfying flavor. The burritos are huge and delicious, and one of my personal favorites is the loaded nachos with the option to add meat. I chose the shredded BBQ beef, which was tender and flavorful. The nachos were seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spices, and they came with a trio of house-made sauces—none too spicy, but all full of flavor. Ordering is counter-style: you place your order, grab a number, and then take a seat. The staff is friendly and efficient, and your food is brought right to your table. Cold bottled drinks are available for self-serve from the coolers. Note that there are a few steps to enter the building—either from the front or back—and restrooms are clean and easy to access. Free street parking is usually plentiful in the area. If you’re looking for a fun, no-fuss spot to grab a tasty Mexican lunch or dinner with friends or family, Olla is a great choice.

Baker Hunt offers so many diverse classes to explore creativity .I took the Intermediate Handbuilding Ceramics class in both the summer and fall sessions in 2023. I learned a lot and had fun.. But I must cast light to a very negative experience in the hopes that it will not happen to anyone else. I created a 2 faced jack o lantern. I painted it. When ready for pick up it was nowhere to be found, I contacted the center and the instructor, inquiries were made, no one had an explanation. It takes a very long time to create a piece and for it "disappear" is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. I overall found the center to be complacent. So everyone, create at your own risk. Went here because it has a reputation of great steaks. The atmosphere was superb. Live piano music. The service was by far the best thing here. The dinner rolls were quite addictive. We ordered the sea bass entre and the prime rib special. The sea bass was huge and tasty. The prime rib was also generous in size. Cooked as requested, but tasted more like a steak than prime rib. The desserts were ok...not the reason for coming All in all, glad we did it once. It was a bit of. Drive to get here so probably won't do it again given the distance and cost.

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House last week, eager to try some unique menu items. The appetizers were a mix—beet-soaked deviled eggs missed the mark with unexpected saltiness, but the French-style mussels and lamb lollipops were excellent. We rarely find mussels done this well in Cincinnati. For entrees, I ordered the NY steak with carrots and truffle mushroom risotto, a perfect 11/10. My husband’s pork chop was nearly as good, though the creamed corn was underwhelming; however, the scalloped potatoes were amazing. One drawback was being seated beside a family with young kids, which dampened the atmosphere a bit on our kid-free evening. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back!

The food and service was amazing! There was a small wait on Sunday morning but nothing outrageous. The menu has something for everyone. The food was cooked to perfection and every one in our group ate every bit of food we had. Our server was amazing! She was super attentive and took great care of us. The only knock was that it was super loud in the restaurant. You could barely understand what someone across the table from you was saying. Kudos to the staff for being able to hear every order with it being that loud!

The website describes OKTO as an elevated Greek restaurant, and the decor matches just that. Cocktails run about $13-15, and looked great, but we decided to go with a glass of wine with our meal. The also offer zero proof drink offerings as well. We started off with the Flaming Saganaki (it is actually flaming), and the hummus. Both delicious, but we did have to order an additional side of pita. For entrees I had my eye on the lobster pasta, and it did not disappoint. The lobster tail and pasta were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was more than just a basic tomato sauce. The rest of the party opted for the burger and gyros. While it doesn't look like the frites are much on the plate, they are very filling and come with a delicious tzatziki dipping sauce. We ended dinner with the fried feta with honey, and one order was plenty for our group of 4.

Fantastic in every way - impressionistic yet sophisticated space. Upbeat yet, relaxing music create a perfect ambiance. The servers, runners, and rest of the staff were knowledgeable forthright and personable. The food - fresh light yet perfectly sized appetizers, entree's and desserts all of which were executed and plated with precision on unique tableware. Cocktails, wines and beers were well thought out to ensure you find something for your palate without the burden of a large wine cellar or extensive draft list. We can't wait to come back.

Somewhere between 3-4 stars. Drinks are excellent and I do not say that lightly. Our server was pretty inattentive however the food is good. The grilled octopus is a must and the bia bowl was good, not stellar. Great location across from the Aronoff. I would return but probably just sit at bar for drinks and appetizers.

Love the decor and atmosphere!!! Can’t forget to mention how great the food was as well. My husband and I went for a spontaneous night out and were blown away! We split the grilled octopus and lamb chops - to die for. He had the honeycomb dessert and really liked that as well. The staff members were super friendly and attentive. Already made reservations to come back :)

First time at OKTO. Beautiful and spacious restaurant. The food is Greek themed and clearly Mediterranean inspired. We had the Mezza appetizer with vegan Moussaka and chicken and lamb souvlaki. All the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and were very delicious. For those used to ethnic Greek and other Mediterranean restaurants, might find the food more moderate, probably curated for a broader audience. I would visit again.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Incredible customer service, our waitress was phenomenal. My husband had a delicious cocktail. Our food was absolutely 10/10. Would recommend to anyone for a special occasion or just a simple date night!

This place was very instagrammable. the decor is super cute and the service was great. The food was fine. Sometimes good, mostly okay and definitely overpriced. You’re paying for the experience here and that’s fine but I want good food if I’m paying so much so it was nice but I wouldn’t go back. If you do go I would suggest sitting at the bar bc their craft cocktails were good and getting the calamari or octopus. The best thing I ate that night.

We went to OTKO last night for our anniversary. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back. I was really disappointed with the grilled octopus, it was over cooked and so chewy we couldn’t eat it. Octopus should always be cooked in under a minute or over an hour. I love spicy, and put hot sauce on everything, but the tequila poloma cocktail was so spicy that it over shadowed the rest of the flavors. It tasted like drinking cold jalapeño water. No grapefruit, no tequila. However, the rest of the food, cocktails and service was great! The pita platter and baklava were delicous, yellowfin tuna was cooked perfectly, the lamb was amazing. I look forward to going back and trying more dishes. I just know the two items to stay away from.

Japanese restaurant
Cafe Mochiko is a cozy Japanese eatery that offers a unique twist on traditional pastries and savory dishes. Run by acclaimed chefs Erik Bentz and Elaine Townsend, the cafe has gained recognition for its innovative culinary creations. While specializing in Japanese treats like chrysanthemum cake and black sugar monkey bread, the menu also features Filipino-inspired delights such as ube hayala croissants and sweet corn bibingka.
As a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, I was genuinely surprised by the creativity at this place! Every dish had a familiar foundation with a subtle, delightful twist that made it stand out. Everything I tried was spot-on. I’ve heard great things about their bakery too, but since we went in the evening, most of the baked goods were already sold out—definitely going back earlier next time!

Where do I start! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My husband and I stop in almost weekly whether it be for pastries or dinner. The rotating ramens keep you coming back! If you wake up early on the weekend run and get a box of pastries before sellout. The hardest part is not ordering one of everything everytime you go. My husband who loves ramen orders the burger every-time we come in. He claims it’s the best in town! I always get the ramen, so we share plates. Staff is always a pleasure, the ambiance is exactly what you want out of a ramen shop, you will spend the rest of your life comparing other ramens to this ramen. I wish they offered carry out dinner as I am a take-away girly, but if we’re doing date night and I’m leaving the house for dinner this is where we’re going! Oh.. don’t forget the Shokupan!!

Will have to come back another time when earlier in the day since it seems they run out of some of their quicker-selling items fast, but this spot is cute with very kind employees. The pastries we got to try were excellent! I especially loved the sweet corn pastry and tea cookie. If you come later there are not as many options, but I plan to come back and try the ramen for sure. Definitely check this little spot out. Great place to get some studying done too. Nice, clean, and calm space.

My first coming to this place. I ordered the junk ramen. The broth was so delicious. It was perfect for a cold fall evening. It was warm and had a wonderful umami flavor. The pork was so tender I could sit here all day talk about this delicious ramen. The service was awesome and the staff is very attentive. I see why people rave about this place. The food, staff and atmosphere was great. I will come back for the pastries.

While the atmosphere, service, and location were fantastic, I was disappointed in the food. I would give the Cincinnati Style Ramen a 5/10 and say it is not worth the hype. I make various ramens from scratch at home and try as many new places as I can. Ramen and sushi are my favorite food. While I enjoy Cincinnati style chili, the ramen was lacking in flavor. The broth was a little on the bland side and lacked a good flavor “kick” that the ramen needed to stand out. The noodles were also not my favorite, as they felt “spongy” and the egg was overcooked. I would never order this again. The Hokkaido Smashburger was a 6.5/10. Same as with the ramen, it lacked the “kick” of flavor it needed to not just be “another burger.” And that is what it felt like, just another burger and not something to go out of my way to get. Overall, I feel both of these items have good potential, they just need some work in the flavor department.
Koty S — Google review
The food was excellent! The Wagu beef burger and fries was the bomb! The spicy Ramen was just right in terms of heat and the broth was favorable. Will definitely be back! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo until the end!

I got the Cinci style Ramen. It was good but overwhelming flavor. I plan to go back but get a more traditional dish. And I really wanna try their pastries, I hear it’s delicious. Otherwise it was a cool place and staff were friendly and attentive.
Christine F — Google review
Bakery items taste unique but are iced cold. Gives me the feeling of eating left over bread from the day before. Would rated much higher if it was fresh and hot. Ramen noodles have nice texture. Soup base is not bad as well but the small quantity of toppings makes the experience feel like it’s all about the noodles. Missing that wholesome feeling.

Nestled in Northern Kentucky, the Greyhound Tavern is a charming colonial-style restaurant that has been delighting locals with its comforting American cuisine since the 1920s. With its rustic decor featuring wood paneling and cozy fireplaces, this family-friendly eatery creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings. The menu boasts a variety of hearty dishes, but it’s particularly famous for its secret-recipe fried chicken, which takes center stage during family-style dinners on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Had Valentine Day dinner here and it was wonderful. Made reservation and arrived early and was seated close to our reservation time which was 830pm. Once we was seated our server Edward came our and took our drink order. We browse the menu which was the Valentine Day menu and we both order steak. I ordered the 14 oz New York strip and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet with a salad and I order the soup which was a Cajun shrimp corn chowder. The steak had great flavor and the herb butter was wonderful on top of it. The scallops potatoes was cheesy and good. We also ordered two cakes a chocolate and vanilla with strawberry and a strawberry syrup. Overall it was a good experience and the service was wonderful.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Food was good, though a bit lacking in variety. Bacon was severely overcooked, but the chicken was the star! Service was great. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go during peak hours.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during Burger Week. The onion rings were large and incredibly crispy, making it easy to share half an order with someone else. The burgers were perfectly cooked and tender, with a magical sauce that elevated the taste. The fries were also very good. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and would recommend!

Honestly a 10/10 chicken place. Has an elegant rich atmosphere but respectable prices. Recently added to the B line, their bourbon selection is far above average. Would absolutely do this again.

Fried chicken was 1/2 its previous size and dripping in grease. Hot Brown's presentation was a sloppy goey mess. It had obviously been microwaved as everything was flat and run together. It was unappealing, nearly stomach turning mess. The bread underneath was soggy, not toasted.
Amy M — Google review
We ate here for the first time on 7/16/25 due to the great reviews on this site. Hy husband got the chicken and said it was really good. I got the open face roast beef and it was good. We loved the cheese sticks too. However, the sides left a lot to be desired. We both thought the coleslaw was sour, too much vinegar and not enough sugar. The green beans had a good flavor, if they would leave out the sugar. I cook southern and never have I ever had green beans with sugar in them. I couldn’t eat them either. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned and edible but mediocre. We got the peanut butter pie and he said it was good. Great waitress and atmosphere. Should we go back, they need to add more sides to the menu.

The first night we came, it was a wonderful evening being seated in the cozy tea room area, not crowded or cramped feeling. Soft big band jazz playing, clean, pleasant atmosphere with upscale decor with interesting rustic aspects. I had the grilled fish special which was Haddock I believe, and it was so delicious. Wonderful glass of house Cabernet. Amazing waiter, an older gentleman who was so attentive and friendly. Another night we were seated in a larger area filled with customers. It felt a bit too crowded for me, tables too close together but still a nice evening. A booth would have felt a bit more private probably. My salmon harvest salad was yummy. Everyone was happy with their selections but one person felt a little disappointed his was served with rye bread, that was not even toasted, and just looked like generic bread from the grocery.

Steak house
Restaurant
Walt's Hitching Post in Fort Wright is a rustic-chic, horse racing-themed smokehouse that has been around since the 1950s. The restaurant offers classic menu items like fried chicken, country fried steak, and fried chicken livers. Known for their delicious ribs with Walt's signature secret sauce, the place also provides private party space for various events. Additionally, they offer takeout options for their entire menu from ribs to steaks to pork chops and sandwiches.
We had an excellent meal at Walt's. I had the Affirmed filet over Gouda potato pancake, spinach, and onion straws. My husband had the special which was a bone in ribeye with Bleu cheese and blackened scallops. Our salads were also fresh and delicious, BLT wedge and the Big Blue. Their salted rye bread is the bomb. The servicers were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Terri C — Google review
We live in the area and decided to come to Walt's for our first time based on local recommendations. I got the elk ribeye and my wife got a bone in beef ribeye with crab cake. For dessert we got the cheesecake and carrot cake. The food was very good. Steaks cooked well for the most part, definitely not overdone. I visit many higher end restaurants around the country while traveling for work and this was the best cheesecake I've had at any restaurant so far. Now the reason for the review, we arrived five minutes before our reservation and were not seated until ten minutes after our reservation. While waiting, many parties (two or so couples and two or 3 larger groups) large and small were coming in behind us and being immediately seated while we still waited. We were told they were late for their earlier reservations and we had to wait because they were backed up. This was confusing, because many tables were already set up and waiting, we weren't waiting on patrons to finish dining. In response to a complaint by us they comped one of our desserts, but even so, during the discussion the manager dismissively implied that's just the way it is but she'll comp a dessert for us. This was highly unusual service compared to other high end restaurants I've visited in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Chicago. Never before have I had to wait because other parties had not arrived. Food was great but I will not be coming back to Walt's.

Great restaurant with really good food (not amazing). The bison was really good and the chicken was nothing special. It was fine though. The halit special is good if you like fish. The mac n cheese wasn't great. The service was good and it was a nice atmosphere that wasn't too tight or crammed. The free bread is amazing.

Old school type of restaurant, reminds me of some place. My parents would have visited. The menu offered a variety of choices, I found a family favorite hot slaw, identical to how I grew up. I had the steak and mushrooms very flavorful. Would order it again. The service was prompt and fast.
Jim B — Google review
The best thing i got was the bread 10/10 i had no idea was completely surprised how good it is, it has a salty crispy crunchy outside and a warm solf inside no butter needed i would eat a whole loaf, the Oysters Rockefeller 7/10, the hot slaw 5/10 the taste is good but only giving 5 tiny pieces of bacon is highly disappointing. the steak 7/10 pretty good no complaints. The ribs are cooked great and have a old style bbq sauce on them, but to me it tasted like straight tomato paste 3/10
Robert W — Google review
I took my mother here for her birthday and we really enjoyed our experience. The ribs were the talk of the table, our server got us the other type they have available to see if we liked them any better, they were just not our "style" but the steak, house salad, mashed potatoes and rye bread were delicious! The beer/wine list was impressive. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy in my opinion, come as you are but shower first 😜 We had a great time at dinner and appreciate the staff for being there to help us navigate our first visit!

We just went yesterday for the first time. We were celebrating our 45th Anniversary so we wanted something extra special and it was. Our sever Nick was great and totally on top of everything. The food, well where do I begin? We started with their salted rye bread. Oh my gosh I've never had bread like that before. It was out of this world, but I ate too much. Our Onion soup was good. Hubby got the Wedge salad which was huge and really good too. My tossed salad was fine. I got the half slab of the fall of the bone ribs. They were good, not great, but I was definitely happy with them. My husband got the 18oz. Bone in Ribeye that was very good. Our sides were the cowboy baked potato and these to die for roasted brussel sprouts. Get them! We splurged and ordered and extra side of the Lobster Mac and cheese. It was worth the $25 price. We took home a piece of carrot cake since they said it was so good, which it was. My only complaint and I hate to even say this was I thought we might get a little something for our 45th Anniversary since my husband told them when making the reservation, but we didn't. It by no means took away from our phenomenal dinner. If you are looking for a special place to go for dinner I totally recommend Walt's Hitching Post.

If you're on the hunt for a laid-back dining experience that serves up classic American comfort food, look no further than Roosters, particularly their newer West Side location. This spot is perfect year-round, but there's something truly special about enjoying their mouthwatering chicken tenders on a sunny patio during summer. One of the highlights here is their incredible Monday deal featuring 79-cent boneless wings—an unbeatable offer in town!
I visit this Roosters location every Monday for their 79-cent boneless wing special, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best wing deals in town! Food Quality & Flavor My girlfriend and I always order the 20 boneless wings, lightly breaded, mixed in hot sauce and a Korean BBQ on the side. The wings are consistently crispy, meaty, and packed with flavor—definitely some of the biggest boneless wings I’ve had at any wing joint. The hot sauce delivers the perfect level of heat and tang, while the Korean BBQ adds a sweet and smoky balance. Service & Atmosphere The staff at this location is consistently friendly and attentive, even when dealing with high-volume crowds or challenging customers. I always make sure to tip at least 20% because their effort and professionalism deserve it. I’ve been to other locations (like the one in Springdale) and had subpar service there, but this location maintains top-tier hospitality every time. Cleanliness & Sanitation One thing I always check at any restaurant is the bathroom cleanliness—a clean restroom often reflects the restaurant’s overall hygiene standards. Here, the restrooms are always spotless, well-stocked, and organized, which speaks volumes about their commitment to sanitation. Final Verdict If you’re looking for generously portioned, high-quality boneless wings at an amazing price, along with friendly service and a well-kept environment, this Roosters location is a must-visit. Highly recommend! Rating: 5/5 – My go-to spot for wings!

I ordered Nachos for lunch. Imagine my surprise when I open it and it's tortilla chips covered in lettuce and bacon bits. No cheese. No chili. There was a yet unidentified sauce that may contain something I'm allergic to but don't have the cajones to press my luck. Worst part is that it was lunch time without a soul in the place except employees. I could see a mistake if they were busy....but it was just me!
Rich L — Google review
This location is very busy. I do NOT recommend take out or delivery during anytime except perhaps the weekdays. Just placed a fairly large order of 30 wings and a side for my friends and I for takeout. It’s Friday night, time to let loose a little and treat ourselves. I live close by to this location but when I got home to serve up everyone’s order they were either overcooked or just not processed with care. I don’t seek refunds or other compensation. I just expect quality for the near 60$ I spent before tip. This is my honest review and I hope it helps even one other person. Don’t risk it on boneless.

I use to love this place when it first opened but it’s went down hill every time I order xtra for my nachos I never get them this time I didn’t want jalapenos well they put them in the bottom no container with my chips so now all my chips r soggy and nasty my wing sauce is always outside of the box in the bottom of the bag

I ordered and did a pick up when I say first off wings are expensive as heck 15 dollars for two orders of 5 wings and they was raw as hell like white and pink in the inside I was so pissed I already worked a 12+ hour shift being in healthcare all I wanted was to get my kids and get our food and to find out the wings needed to be put in my air fryer I would never eat here again ever I also got cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks and nachos the only thing that looked appealing was the pizza and mozzarella sticks the nachos had beans in the chilli just not worth 38 plus dollars to me.

Pizza Takeout
Saint Francis Apizza, formerly known as Parlor Pizza Project, is a family-owned and operated artisan pizza shop located in East Hyde Park. They offer a unique take on New Haven-style apizza, with their own twist on the traditional pie. Their signature dish features double tomato sauce and subtle hints of pecorino romano cheese.
This tiny family owned pizzaria in Hyde Park is so worth the drive! The pizza...you'd swear it was done in a brick oven! It was perfectly thin and the crust had just the right amount of char. It was awesome! I would have sworn I was back in Italy where I ate pizza there for 6 yrs! Sauce had a amazing flavor. NOT sweet or sour...just perfect! We did create your own and did half with just cheese and the other half with pepperoni and green peppers. Ordered it with fresh Basil (2x) and they put it on the side so it was fresh and not wilted. We could then put as much as we wanted on each slice. The owners were extremely nice and even offered to give us a warming box if we were driving far. AMAZING!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

St Francis pizza is the perfect blend between NY Style Pizza and New Haven Pizza. I have eaten more than my fair share of both. The crust was nice and crispy. The toppings were perfect. The fresh basil on the side is a nice touch. The service was amazing. We got a chance to talk with the owner and the passion for pizza is clearly evident in the final product. All the way from Florida for a Reds game, but now I want to come back to Cincinnati to spend more time and eat more pizza.

One of the best pizza spots in the city. Tiny carry out only spot with a few seats outside. Definitely a little pricey but if you like New York style or New Haven style you should definitely give it a try. Great quality and great flavors. The service by everyone including the owner is great. Do visit it if you can.

If you're looking for a great pizza with a nice charred crust this place is a great little find. Found them while looking for a new pizza to try and it did not disappoint. A little pricier than some pizza places but well worth it to get that perfect crust and great flavor. Definitely being added to my list of favorite pizza spots.

We’re from Northwest Ohio and had St. Francis APizza on our “to try” list after seeing it featured on YouTube—so when we found ourselves in the Cincinnati area, we made sure to stop in. We’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The guy working was super friendly and helpful. It was our first time there, and he patiently walked us through the menu, explained our options, and even let us know we could split the pizza half-and-half. It’s takeout-only, but they do have a few small tables outside. When we mentioned we’d like to eat there, they immediately apologized for the tables not being wiped off and quickly cleaned them—even though they looked totally fine to us. We really appreciated the attention to detail and how welcoming they were. We went with half Margo-Rita and half pepperoni with hot honey—both were absolutely fantastic. The dough had incredible flavor with the perfect bake and a nicely crisped bottom. The sauce was bright and balanced, the cheese was top-notch, and the proportions of everything were spot-on. Every ingredient tasted super fresh, and it all came together beautifully. St. Francis APizza absolutely lived up to the hype. If you’re anywhere near Cincinnati, this place is 100% worth the visit.

Alex and team, Long time coming...Love your pizza. Love your weekly emails - appreciate the insight and honesty. Love supporting your business, the love that is put into your product and business is appreciated. On a personal note, in short, my wife and I order frequently from the Eerie Ave location (excited to have sit down restaurant)...but what made the biggest impression on us: Back in November (election night), our beloved dog, Hutch, who would only walk from Eerie to Observatory (very stubborn pitty) if we held St. Francis Apizza crust and pizza over him ), was very sick. He was very sick, unexpected diagnosis, and we tried literally everything to get him to eat. I ordered him his beloved St. Francis pizza to try to get him to eat. Busy night and completely sold out of pizza - understandable (everyone by their tvs). My wife went there and explained situation (just trying to get Hutch through the night until we said our goodbyes the next day), and Alex, no questions asked came out with a mini cheese pizza for him. His kindness has left an indelible impression on my - and for that I am forever grateful. Great pizza (best in Cincy - my wife argue over standard bake vs medium back - you choose) and even better people who work there - from the font of house to Alex. Thank you guys for what you do. We are forever grateful for your kindness and passion. Our new pup (another pitty) also loves carbs and your pizza! Thx, Jeff, Meghan, & Hutch Jeff & Meghan

Proud Hound Coffee, a well-established coffee roaster in Cincinnati since 1999, is known for its commitment to connecting people with the growers of their coffee. The cafe has become a local favorite, offering excellent roasts and personable service. With a beautiful aesthetic and top-notch food and beverages, it's no wonder that it draws long lines of eager customers. The menu features an array of delectable options, from pastries to Nashville hot chicken sandwiches on biscuits.
Proud Hound is a cool spot. The location has a pop-art feel to it. When you enter, be prepared for a line but the food is worth it. We waited for about 10 minutes in line, but were greeted by welcoming staff. We ordered the Cheese Blueberry Danish and the Vanilla donut with the Yaki omelet and Fried mushroom sandwich. The donut was very fluffy and a good size at that. The Danish was also delicious. Our food came out surprisingly quickly for the amount of customers that were there. I would absolutely go here again.

The BEST breakfast I've had yet!!!! 3 pancakes with honey butter and maple syrup...thick, fluffy and done to perfection! The Plain and Simple and the Meat and Potatoes were just as amazing! Caramel latte was great as were the Chai's, but they didn't have cold foam or any whip for them. Atmosphere was great! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Quite a line but it went very quickly and our food didn't take long either and it was hot. Great setup and service! HIGHLY recommend The Proud Hound! ♥️

Conclusion - Nice large Coffee shop. Good for Meeting up with a group or just a friend. Baristas seem professional, would recommend any Traditional type of drink (Ex. Cortado...). Due to open Environment a little noisy. But, overall Fun Environment to go grab a Good cup of coffee and hang out/chat with friends. Not much parking at location, but a decent sized lot across the street which is favorable. Check out the full review on our Instagram or TikTok @hunting_coffee

I came here a couple times to plug in and grab a latte. It's a spacious place with a good amount of outlets and 3 hours of WiFi for customers. My plain latte was top-tier quality -- I'd drink it any day. The Cardi Bee latte (special with honey, cardamom, and orange) was also solid, not overwhelmingly sweet, and the flavors were noticeable. If you're looking for non-dairy, they have oat milk (no almond milk). They also have a super interesting food menu of breakfast-forward dishes; it definitely goes above and beyond your average coffee shop menu, but I haven't tried any food. My lady tried one of their donuts and said it was a 5/10.. a little on the dry side. Overall, this seems to be a pretty solid shop and I'd be happy to keep visiting and exploring more of the menu.

It was my first time there, the food was great!! The coffee was also amazing!! The line is long but it didn’t take forever! It’s more of brunch place. Parking is across the street. We will be back (:

Proud Hound always delivers. The coffee, seasonal drinks, food, atmosphere, and staff are excellent. The food really stands out here and never disappoints. My partner and I visit often and always bring out of town visitors! I’ve been coming for three years and will continue to do so :)

Tons of seating, a hidden gem. Love the coffee and would live here if I could. The wifi work during set hours and they are communicative of that. This is probably the only con if you are looking to work or study, you just have to time it right. The food is incredible and the decor is the prettiest I’ve seen. And the patio isn’t a fake patio like some coffee shops advertise, it’s an actual patio. There’s a new serving system that helps the servers locate your table and bring your coffee and food to your table even faster. Can’t recommend enough. However if you don’t want to street park, make sure you really squint or look on the map as to where the parking lot is because it’s not very obvious at first and could probably use a bigger sign.

What a find for a great fall evening dinner on the patio. The weather was great. Service was super fast. We had the Barzon Burrito and Sweet Thai wings. Both were yummy. The burrito was massive and very sharable.

I love this place and come here a lot. Chips and salsa hit the spot when I’m hungry after work or waiting for friends to join. Their $2 street tacos on Tuesdays are great (no frills but delicious meats). The only bummer is minimal vegetarian options (just the cheese quesadilla right now) on an otherwise very large menu. I’d love to see more vegetarian options added but cant beat their current tacos and margs. Took my family here and had a blast. The servers are very kind and when we all got margs except my sister who doesn’t drink, our server was thoughtful enough to put one of the fun lights in her drink too! And sitting out on their covered patio is great for most of the year. Highly recommend.

This is such an amazing place! It’s my favorite spot in all of Cincinnati. Not only is it family friendly, it’s also the best spot to take my buddies for a good drink and soccer game night. It’s in the best area, the most beautiful area of Cincinnati, in my opinion. Family visiting from Las Vegas and California loved it here.!! ❤️❤️😍

Got takeout with a group of co-workers. Burrito was of decent size and tasted great. Chips and salsa were a bit too plain. From what I heard they got our order right and everybody was happy with the food.

When here with a bunch of friends after playing pickleball I Sawyer Point. Street parking was ample, the food and services very good and the atmosphere was great we had room for 11 people and the service is very good. He will go back to get their margaritas.
Kevin K — Google review
The restaurant itself is very lively with a large projector playing sports and multiple TVs. The tables were greasy and the chips and salsa was underwhelming. The salsa was not fresh. The chimichanga and quesadilla was greasy too. The restaurant food was underwhelming and not good Mexican for vegetarians especially.
Vaishnavi S — Google review
I'm honestly amazed by all the good reviews. We did not have that experience. Surprisingly few vegetarian options. We ordered the spinach dip which was a big bowl of spinach in a very watery cheese liquid. We ordered a cheese quesadilla that was very tiny (looked like a toddler meal) and came with no guac or sour cream or anything. I definitely won't eat here again. The bar is beautiful though. I'd go back for a drink.

Vegetarian cafe and deli
Harmony Plant Fare is a vegan deli in Findlay Market, offering a wide range of plant-based meats and cheeses. Specializing in seitan, a Chinese-origin vegan meat made from high protein flour, beans, and spices that closely resembles animal-based meat. The deli provides an extensive menu of sandwiches, ready-to-go dishes, dips, and desserts - all entirely vegan.
Harmony Plant Fare is UNMATCHED. If you're looking for a good sandwich, this is the place to go. Their house made meats are unbelievable and every component if their sandwiches are perfect. The Italian is by far my favorite! My only complaint is that, as a vegan, Findlay Market is a nightmare to walk through. I have heard that you can call Harmony to place an order to get in and out quickly though.
Grace H — Google review
What a gem this little deli in the Findlay Market is. This was my second time eating here (because the first was so good) and i’m even more blown away this time around. their sandwich of the day, recommended by the person working, was one of the best vegan sandwiches i’ve ever had. i believe a non vegan would’ve enjoyed it too, which i can’t say the same for many meat-alternative sandwiches i’ve had. as a 10+ year vegan, i very much wish that i lived closer to this place than the 4 hours that i do, but until then i’ll stop in whenever i can. if you are contemplating going and can’t tell by the menu or pictures, let this be your sign to just go - you won’t regret it.
Zach H — Google review
This is easily one of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had! Full, flavorful, hearty, perfect texture balance, almost unreal. Cannot recommend this place enough - it's delicious!
Maria P — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Harmony Plant Fare, and it was a fantastic experience. This all-vegan spot really stands out not just for its delicious plant-based menu but for how easy and convenient it is to just order like at a deli and take your food to go. And of course, a big shoutout to Alex, the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive even in that quick-serve setup. His passion for making everyone feel welcome really shines through. If you’re looking for great vegan food on the go with a friendly touch, Harmony Plant Fare is definitely worth a visit.
Sherry S — Google review
Was so excited when I stumbled on this market! They had so many options I wanted to take home a lot more! But settled for the Jalapeno cream cheese which was AMAZING and the buffalo chicken. Also amazing! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend!
Nichole R — Google review
If you’re in Findlay Market, you need to go to Harmony Plant Fare. Take it from me that this was the best and hottest grilled cheese sandwich that I’ve ever had. This grilled cheese sandwich was an explosion of happiness in my mouth! The sandwich was made on sourdough bread and the cheese was thoroughly melted. I paid $10 for the sandwich (and I paid $1 for a big bottle of cold water). I wondered what the sandwich would taste like, but I was not disappointed. The only complaint I had was that I wanted more when I finished it. I asked for pickles and was offered them in a cup. I would highly recommend Harmony Plant Fare in Findlay Market. You will not be disappointed!
Angela B — Google review
This is the best vegan deli I've ever dined at because they have such good flavors! Many such delis just make a 5-inch thick sub with plant-based cold cuts, which I've found to be rather disgusting. Harmony Plant Fare is not like those places, though. Their cold Italian sub and the gyro were both A+ sandwiches, vegan or otherwise. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this shop to Findlay Market frequenters if you're vegan or vegan curious!
Brian D — Google review
Yasssss! I had the Buffalo Ranch sandwich and it was delicious. It was hot and full of flavor. The bread was toasted to perfection. The staff were just wonderful, accommodating and friendly. They have other vegan items available for you to snag while you’re there. I found it funny that this vegan spot is near two butchers.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Over-the-Rhine, Bee's Barbecue is a culinary gem that embodies the art of slow-cooked barbecue. With a commitment to quality, they source their ingredients locally, including the wood used for smoking meats. The menu features an array of tender barbecue options available by the half-pound or pound, served on sandwiches or as hearty plates alongside delectable sides like creamy mac n cheese and sweet honey cornbread.
Best BBQ in the city. The ribs were to die for. You have to get brisket and ribs and try the other meats on your return trip. I would also ask for more sauce next time. There is also a very cute garden and greenhouse nearby. Would recommend!
Andrew K — Google review
Over all good stuff. Haven't had good BBQ in a while. If not homemade 😀. Anyway. I liked the ribs. Fell off the bone. Smoked turkey was good. Sauce is ok. Went well with the turkey. The people were nice. Walked me through the menu and any questions that I had. Portions are a little small but filling at the same time. Decent amount of options on the menu. Even a brownie for dessert. Carry out only. A few tables outside, weather permitting if you can sit there. Loud speaker to call your name if you step outside to wait. Check them out. A small gem in the neighborhood.

Stopped in on our way back to Columbus after a quick search for local bbq. Food traveled 2 hours & was still delicious. The wings & brisket were our favourite. Mac & cheese had great flavor but I prefer a baked mac. Would absolutely come back.

The food was AMAZING!! Made my friend cry and my brother in-law want the coordinates tattooed on his body. The Smokey flavor was incredible I got the pulled pork sandwich and the wings smelled so good I stole them off of my husbands plate. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever eaten. If you go to Bees BBQ you will not regret it!

I was with a friend on an adventure to visit a distillery here in Ohio and he asked me what my favorite bourbon was… as I pondered on how to answer this, I realized that the answer for this was pretty much how I answer when friends ask me about my favorite BBQ. It’s not just the smoked meats and sides, it’s the road trip to get there, the new friends I meet along the way that I truly relish. During this distillery trip, my friend mentions a place that used to be a ‘pop up’ that has built a brick and mortar store in the past year that has amazing bbq. I’d never even heard of Bee’s BBQ until this moment and I felt the need to arrange another adventure to get meet these folks. We plan on a Saturday morning as the reviews state they tend to run out of brisket quickly. It’s a 45min drive, we get there around 1015a(they open at 11a) and I immediately get out of the car to go check this literal hole in the wall store. I meet the owner(s) and they are just the nicest people. I get a short tour of the smoking area and then wander around to check out the picnic area and the greenhouse. So the meats.. I got brisket and ribs and I worry that the 45min drive home the brisket will lose its juiciness. I was wrong the brisket was absolutely incredible. Seriously, some of the best brisket I’ve even enjoyed. It reminds me of the days of BBQ Revue that used to be less than a mile from Bee’s. I would wager that this brisket right off the counter and in the picnic area would be even better!?! The ribs were meaty and full of flavor. Not too smoky, not too seasoned, just the perfect bite. The only side I got were the beans from all the reviews mentioning them. Again, did not disappoint, for me they are a bit spicy but that’s perfect for me. If you love brisket and live anywhere from 2hrs or less away, do yourself a favor and make an adventure and go meet these incredibly nice folks and enjoy some delicious bbq. Support the local mom and pops. It’ll make you feel like you’re helping out a local families.

We've eaten enough KC BBQ to have a good frame of reference and Bee's is legitimately the BEST BBQ in Cincy..! The pulled pork sandwich was amazing, likewise the brisket and turkey - which made a nice sandwich on the included bread. Sides were good, specifically the beans and dirty rice.. and I really enjoyed the banana pudding which had the vanilla cookie wafer inside the pudding. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back..!

I haven't even pulled off from my parking spot and felt the need to leave this review. Previously I thought just Q'in was the best in the city. I've realized I am wrong. Do not drive past this place; stop in and get some food. You will not regret it!

Pearl Star brings coastal oasis to Cincinnati! I’ve had the pleasure of dining multiple times at Pearl Star and have truly enjoyed every dining experience. Amy, the manager and her team work hard to create a wonderful ambiance with excellent food. The oysters are fresh, the variety is endless and the bar is well stocked. My most recent visit included the Shrimp Ceviche, an excellent medley of shrimp, radish and avocado accompanied by crisp tostado chips. My personal favorite is the scallop tostada, served with a mild but Smokey chorizo, it’s an explosion of flavor. For the second course I enjoyed a wonderful wedge salad with a it’s tangy dressing, massive tomaotoes, and my favorite, the salty lordons which ties the dish together beautifully. A tried and true favorite entree is the Hangar Steak, always a perfect medium rare, garnished with a succulent chimi churri. Don’t overlook other fabulous dishes, such as the Arctic Char or classic Pearl Star Cheese Burger. I finished my experience with the delectable Orange Blossom Pannacotta. I can’t get over how much I enjoy dining at Pearl Star, I recommend you try it.

Oysters were 10/10! Great flavor and balance! Service was slower than expected, especially with drinks. With current times I’d say worker shortage but i could see the bartenders from my seating. They looked to be busy nonstop but our waitress didn’t seem to be “visible”. Fries were very crisp but overly salty. No hesitation to return but was underwhelmed at my first visit. 4 stars because I feel like our menu choices can be better on the next visit.
Daniel J — Google review
I thought the food was very good, serving size were appropriate for the price in the location, came out pretty quick, service was polite. My date and I got the tuna burger, redfish, simple salad, and a single oyster to try. Turns out neither of us like oysters, which we had thought before but this confirms it. We do both love everything else they brought, with the redfish being the massive favorite. I love the throwback almost Miami style vibe here, I think it's really relaxing, every comfortable, very inclusive. At the same time the food is somewhat elevated, lots of fresh options. Plus the outdoor patio is beautiful! They've completely renovated this space from the dark wood that it was before

Dinner on a Wednesday. Beautiful restaurant. We had a selection of oyster which were all fresh and delicious. The house hot sauce and mignonette were great. Followed that with the Brussels sprouts, the char and the current hamachi Crudo, which changes regularly. Everything was tasty. The spice on the Crudo was a little intense, but was quite good. The star of the day was the piccata sauce with the char. It was delicious and rich.

We just had literally one of the best dinners ever!!! The food was AMAZING but we have to give our server, Sophie a HUGE shout out. Please request her because she was the most knowledgeable, helpful, friendliest, sweetest servers we have EVER had!! Through her recommendations we had one of our best nights ever. We can’t wait to go back!

Came here for the oysters 🦪 but left dreaming about the cheeseburger 🍔. The double shortrib patty was topped with American cheese, star sauce, shredduce, and pickles, and served on a buttery and soft AF brioche bun. Second favorite of the night was a tie between the open faced shrimp sandwich 🦐 and the carpaccio, which came with a chive aioli that was so good I asked for an extra side of it to dunk my cheeseburger in.

Korean restaurant
Decibel Korean Fried Chicken, located in McMillan St., Walnut Hills, offers a unique take on fried chicken with its double-fried Korean style that results in a crispier skin. In addition to their signature fried chicken, they also serve fried cauliflower and an array of sides including waffle fries, kimchi, seaweed salad, and a special "picnic salad" made with macaroni, celery, mayo and spices. Specials at Decibel include Korean fried corn dogs.
Stopped in today for an epic flavor experience. Ordered the gochujang tenders, Korean fried corn dog, and the bulgogi beef egg rolls. It was my first time trying any of this and let me tell you it was all incredible! The breading and sauce on the chicken was an absolute flavor blast, and the egg rolls are on a whole other level. I was especially excited to try the Korean style corn dog and I was blown away, it was world's different from your standard corn dog. The flavor, the presentation, everything about this experience was amazing. I highly recommend checking them out! We will be back to try Esoteric Brewery which Decibel is located in
Lavender S — Google review
I am in town for work and ordered via Uber so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere really, but I greatly appreciated the automatic inclusion of flatware given that my food was not all handheld. I had the Korean corn dog, a side of white rice, and a side of the marinated cukes. I wanted the drumsticks, truly, but was not gonna be able to eat that much. The corn dog was something I had wanted to try because I've never had one. The breading, the actual frying, the sauce, everything was incredible. I feel it would be much better suited around a less processed center like dark meat chicken than say a hot dog, but hot dogs are so easy on a stick. I would eat the outer shell served as it is, alone. I didn't notice the potatoes at all, and I didn't care because it all combined to create something great. The cucumbers were fine. They were very fresh, lightly flavored, but not so much distinctly Korean. My main complaint is that the white rice was so bad. They expressly state "Korean white rice," with Calrose which is a fairly fancy brand of white rice. But the preparation was wrong. Instead of hot, sticky, slightly sweet, it was... more congealed, without being mushy. They let it sit in the water too long before cooking it, and/or used too much water to begin with. I'm inclined to rate it 3 stars due to this most basic staple being botched, but that's more a personal point of pride as an East Asian person. I'm sure this place is worth giving a try.
Connie C — Google review
The chicken tenders we had from Decibel Korean Fried Chicken at Esoteric Brewing Company on McMillan were excellent. Good quality chicken, tender and juicy, battered and fried. The different sauces we had were all great. Started with the Buldak Dumplings, which were very good and VERY spicy. We like spicy food, but if you don't then just know these are hot. Not too hot to overpower the flavors for me though. Will definitely get them next time and look forward to trying other menu items!
Ray M — Google review
Amazing experience! The food was phenomenal the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. It was nice to sit in the brewery and have a tasty beer with my meal! Share left overs with my family and I think we all can agree this is some of the best chicken you’ll have. The flavors were great. The owner topped the experience he was such a pleasure to chat with. I’m really hoping it makes it throughout the other Ohio region.

The setting in Esoteric Brewery makes environment really nice. The spicy Korean BBQ tenders were very good. The Korean rice with pepper flakes was terrible (and was told I couldn't exchange). Very low likelihood of returning based on customer service of cashier
Marlon R — Google review
Woah, SO good. I had the bbq drumsticks, kimchi fried rice, fried pickles, picnic salad, and cured cukes. Fried chicken breading is crunchy and perfectly absorbs the sauce and the sauce is sweet and tangy and delicious. The cucumbers are the perfect addition to the fried food and are so flavorful. Fried rice is unique, saucy, and has a sweet kick. The pickles are perfectly breaded and the breading mix is divine. The picnic salad is so much better than the description leads on and is a great compliment to the main dishes. I got delivery and everything kept perfectly!
Phoebe H — Google review
I've been meaning to try Decibel and decided to go today since they had a Cincinnati Wing Week special. Really enjoyed the garlic soy sauce on the wings, however I think they could have used more of the sauce on the wings. I was not expecting the wings to be the large ones, so 6 of them for the $7 special price was an awesome deal. Also got the cured cukes and the waffle fries with the fly sauce. Loved the cured cukes. The waffle fries were great too and I really enjoyed the fly sauce...was not expecting it to be that spicy! The place is a little pricey (6 wings are normally over $10) so without the wing week special, I probably would not have bought as much food but $15 for 6 large wings and two side items was a great deal in my opinion. The place is a little out of my way but I'll be back in the future!
Kimberly F — Google review
Pro: Soy garlic drumsticks were great. They were crispy and savory. They were still slightly crunchy even when I saved some for an hour later. The seaweed salad and rice were also good (standard). Con: The gochujang bbq tenders were dry and tough. We ended up eating only 2 of them because we really just didn’t like them and shared the drumsticks instead. I also order the cured cukes but they must have forgotten to put it into the bag or forgot to take down the order. (It was only $3 if they forgot to bag it so we didn’t call to correct them. It wasn’t a big deal since they were closing when we got there.)

I live out of state and needed a gift basket delivered locally in Hyde Park at the last minute during the busy holiday season. I had a minor issue ordering online, and the customer service couldn't have been more awesome. Not only did they quickly resolve my issue, they prepped and held a gift basket for me without me asking, and delivered it the following day. It was a hit and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I have visited this location several times in the past. The older gentleman who owns the place has always been very kind, sharing his love of wine with me, and helping me to pick out a bottle. However, today I had an odd encounter in which I found the behavior of the middle aged man working in the morning on June 24th to fall somewhere between off-putting and condescending. I had two questions. The first was simple. Did they ever have sales? He acted like he didn't know what a sale was. That was incredibly awkward trying to come to an understanding over a ubiquitous word. When he eventually acted like he knew what I was asking, he laughed and said they don't do that here. The tone held some contempt. Maybe he was having a bad day, or maybe he was revealing himself to be a disdainful elitist. He then said it's illegal to put wine on sale in Ohio, which just isn't true? Why would he lie about something like that? I had come to ask about a specific bottle, but I left without another word. I'll certainly be back next time I'm looking for a specific bottle, I only hope I don't visit while this man is working the shop.

Best wine store in Cincinnati, hands down. Evelyn consistently gets fabulous small production wines that cannot be found elsewhere in Cincinnati. Better yet, if you go in there and tell her what your menu is for your dinner party, she and her incredibly helpful staff will steer you to the perfect wine for every course and make sure it matches your budget. Her tasting events are amazing and the food selections are always first rate. Great prices too! If you don't see something you want -- just ask. She has tons more wine in underground storage and has the connections to get almost anything you can imagine.

Great product and awesome service! It was around 2:00 PM when I called to inquire about having a basket delivered the same day and Mary was just incredible. She took my order over the phone and called me back a few minutes later to confirm that she could in fact have the order delivered that day. The order was actually delivered within an hour of being placed. Now that's awesome! Thank you Mary!

My mother and I stopped in to grab a bottle of wine for dinner. We were greeted by the older lady at the register and continued to look for wine in the back of the store. About 5 mins after we entered she came back to us and said "We have people waiting if you're just going to browse. We only allow a few people in at a time." pretty much telling us to buy something or leave. I decided to take my business elsewhere.
