Seafood restaurant
Alabama Fishbar, located in downtown Over-the-Rhine, is a popular and cheerful eatery known for its no-frills fish dinners. The menu is short but sweet, offering three types of perfectly fried fish - whiting, perch, and cod. Each dinner comes with a side of fries, bread, and hot peppers & onions. Despite the long lines extending out the door most days, the efficient and friendly staff ensures quick service.
Strictly take out, and worth evewp sluces of every penny. We shared the perch dinner (7 pieces, fries, a sautéed onion and jalapeño side, two pieces of bread) THE fish was lightly breaded and done to perfection.

These people are rude as hell. I door dash a lot and mostly for people at work. We ALWAYS order and PAY for extra tartar sauce. WE NEVER GET IT. Today I ordered a couple of meals and ordered 8 extra tarter sauces. I then called the store to let them know to make sure it’s in my bags. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and very short. I asked her if she could make sure I get what I paid for. She told me she couldn’t because she’s not over that area. The place isn’t that big. She could’ve easily passed the message along. The phone is literally right there. I’m sure she looked at the tartar sauce while on the phone. Instead of saying SORRY ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES, ILL LET THEM KNOW TO NOT FORGET YOUR SAUCES, she decided to tell me a lie “if it’s on the ticket, it’s in the bag” and then “have a nice day” click, hung up. Last time I’ll spend my money here. Got my food just now and guess what…..NO TARTER SAUCE!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!

Never will I purchase from here again! The food was utterly disgusting!! My mom Even said it was not so hot! Didn’t want to refund money. Wanted to remake it was freshly made remaking wasn't going to help the taste. The quality and taste was horrible. The Old Alabama fish bar is gone. Wasted 13.99 don’t let the pictures fool you. The size of the perch was no bigger than my index finger. If it was even fish. It was so nasty. This was nothing like we ever tasted. The side peppers and onions were even nasty.! What happened to asking if you want condiments added they went to packets. One thing for certain one thing for sure I won’t be returning in the garbage it went!!!!!! Wouldn’t feed this to anyone or a dog!! Oh it made me sick and nauseous!! I recommend not eating here!!!

Food: My friend and I got the $13 dinner. It comes with 5 pieces of chicken, fries and an onion sauce. It's a good deal if you don't eat too much. Packaging: they use paper. It's great for the environment but if you are coming from afar, the paper will be torn before you get home. Atmosphere: the thing that keep coming up is the strong smell. It's normal for the place to smell but they might need to find a way for the air to circulate better

Hope someone from this establishment reads this, just go back to the same batter, the fish is definitely different from years ago. Something was changed, I don't know what but its definitely different, go back to the old recipe please! I know since covid some things had to change, but the way its cook now is way off.

Food is okay. The staff is friendly. Also very fast. The only thing is i don’t feel very comfortable walking around that neighborhood
Joanna C — Google review
They need some cornmeal battered fish Cincinnati is over done on beer batter battered nothing Southern about Mr. Alabama, might be owner hometown because this is not Southern fried fish here...it's like an upgrade of Long John Silvers with a Louisana flair of onions peppers mix on the side. The whiting always has bones in it. No where to park and yes the food was fair definitely consumable a little greasy on that battered batter. Fish was completely cooked.
Iam H — Google review
Hands down the best fried fish I've ever had, especially the cod! The tartar sauce & peppers/onions really pull it all together. I go every time I'm in Cincinnati!

Pelican's Reef is a charming seafood haven located on Beechmont Avenue in Cincinnati, known for its relaxed atmosphere and vibrant decor. This delightful eatery has been serving fresh seafood for over 25 years, making it a beloved spot among locals. The menu features an array of mouthwatering options including grilled fish tacos, fried shrimp, oysters, and various sandwiches and burgers.
To start... the service team worked as a team. They were topshelf!! We felt welcomed. The food... Wow! I had their Shrimp and Grits from the special menu. I try Shrimp and Grits all over holiday travels. Pelicans Reef is hands down the best I have had! My wife loved the Mahi Mahi.

A Cincinnati gem 💎 5 Stars always! The freshest seafood in the city. Key West type atmosphere with great service. Locally owned & operated. The gumbo is fabulous and I love their fresh peel & eat shrimp!

I felt like I was on vacation in Siesta Key, Florida! Definitely vacation vibes , outstanding service and most importantly, outstanding food! You have to enter around the back of the building, that was a bit confusing as we thought they were closed. Believe me though, they are well worth finding. I would recommend better sit out front to direct you around the back parking lot.
Todd R — Google review
Food was fairly decent. The fish sandwich was a little over cooked at the edges, but overall it was pretty decent. A small pin bone was found in the salmon on the salad. Not to be unexpected, but could have been a bit more careful. The fries and onion rings both came out really well, and I personally feel this is where they shine the most. The pier restaurant theme was interesting and I was into it. Staff was really friendly as well.
James J — Google review
Everyone in our group LOVED their baked and grilled fish. My husband and I got the Icelandic Cod and we weren't a fan. It had the hard scratchy crust. There were 3 large pieces of fish. Perhaps if we had ordered the beer battered cod it would have changed my rating. After 3 bites of the hard crust i was giving away my pieces of fish as fast as I could. My mashed potatoes were ok and my broccoli was not good, it was chewy. I came home and got a snack because I was still hungry. The waitress was the best part of the dinner. She was terrific! The strangest part of the night was-we hadn't eaten here at the Pelican Reef years and we parked in front and it looked empty like it was closed. We called and asked which door we should enter. A female said "I guess the back" entrance. So we parked around back and called everyone in the group to go to the back. Our family member informed us the parking is in the front. We moved back around to the front. Another party in our group had walked to the front door and saw a small sign saying the downstairs was closed and the upper floor entrance was in the back. We again called our party and told them to park in the back. It would have been better if there was a better sign letting us know where to go.

This place was amazing!! We had our weekly lunch with our large family and everyone was happy. Great variety and pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was very sweet and personable and offered great suggestions! Adding this place in rotation for us.
Natasha C — Google review
My first visit....The place had distanced tables and very clean atmosphere. The food was amazing in both taste and presentation. The Caesar Salad is very good. The lobster fritters with Jalapeno tartar sauce is delicious. Their Crab cakes are more Crab than cake and that was delicious and that fresh ocean taste with the twice bake potato and asparagus was soooo good. Their coconut Shrimp was great as you not only had the flaky coconut texture bit could taste a hint of the coconut. The shrimp comes with a pepper sauce that is not as peppery as it is sweet and delicious. This was indeed awesome food.
Joe B — Google review
I had not been to Pelican's Reef in about 20 years but, always raved about it to my husband. I don't know why it took so long to get back here! The ambience is great! Very fun, and beachy. The staff was fantastic, and friendly. We started off with the lobster bisque and calamari. The bisque was hearty, and creamy, with just a hint of heat. I love how they crumble the crab meat into it, so that you get an abundance of crab in every bite, and not just a nugget here and there. The calamari was super crisp. Large body rings, along with the tentacles. It wasn't rubbery like most places. It was tender, and moist. I can see why it's rated best in Cincinnati! I ordered one of the specials of the day. It was a seared ahi tuna wrap. It had large, melt in your mouth, pieces of ahi, stuffed with a cabbage slaw, and a sweet teriyaki sauce. It was so delicious! My husband also ordered a special. It was a huge lobster roll. It had giant, meaty pieces of lobster, in a creamy dressing, with chopped green onions and tomatoes. It was quite delectable. For dessert, we had to try the peanut butter pie. OMG! It was not mealy but, silky, smooth, and very rich! Definitely not going to wait as long for our next visit!

The establishment boasts an upscale atmosphere and is particularly popular during dinner hours and weekends. With a diverse menu featuring fresh shellfish, garden salads, aged steaks, and delightful cocktails like the lemon drop martini, it's an ideal spot for both casual visits and special occasions.
First time visit at this restaurant and I’m glad I tried it. My server Skyler was amazing! She was very attentive and made great recommendations. I opted for the shrimp cocktail appetizer, and the dinner special which included a salad and an entrée. I finished the evening off with apple pie for dessert. Everything I ordered was very good. I have to say that I would go back just for the apple pie. It was that good.

I had made a reservation a week in advance and really would have preferred to sit in the actual restaurant but was assigned a table in the bar section. If you make a reservation over a week in advance I would expect a table in the main dining area! I used the restroom before I left and there were a lot of open tables in the main dining area. My reservation was early enough they would have had time to turn the table before the dinner crowd arrived. There also seemed to be some confusion about whose section this was. Once that was sorted out I received great service from my waitress. A name like Shrimp Kisses is a lot to live up too. This appetizer was delish!!! Just the right combo of sweet and heat. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and the meal was very good.

It was our family’s first time at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! It was a great atmosphere and delicious food. Our server, Lucas was phenomenal, making sure we were having an enjoyable time. We definitely plan on coming back here! The desserts were also very yummy!

We came to visit on our way home to Florida and our server Terrell had an amazing personality and unique serving style. The food is really good and the bread is even better. He even gave us his personal favorite combo, the tartar sauce with bread. So personable and so good!

David and Jawan were absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I originally stopped in just for drinks to celebrate my birthday, but we ended up getting some appetizers and even cake. The food was incredible, and the service was truly memorable. We can’t wait to make this our go-to spot every time we’re back in town!

We went for our anniversary and had an amazing experience! Our Hostess and Waitress, Autumnly and Latrice, went above and beyond to make us feel special. They personalized our menu and even rolled one up with a bow for us to keep. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. It was overall a fabulous evening and I would highly recommend them to anyone

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely outstanding experience at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks in Cincinnati. From the moment we sat down, the service was fabulous. Our server, Ashley, was truly spectacular—attentive, personable, and went above and beyond in every way. As restaurant owners ourselves, we know what great service looks like, and Ashley delivered it flawlessly. The food was equally incredible. The chicken and Wagyu steak were perfectly prepared, and the lobster bisque and clam chowder were both rich and delicious. The oysters on the half shell were fresh and spectacular, and the shrimp kisses might honestly be one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. This is a five-star experience all the way—for the food, the atmosphere, and especially for Ashley’s amazing service. We’ll absolutely be back!

Court Street Lobster Bar is a casual and chic New England-style eatery located in Greater Cincinnati. It offers a variety of seafood dishes with Midwest hospitality. The menu features New England-inspired seafood, including lobster rolls, shrimp, and other seafood options. In addition to the classic Maine Style lobster roll served with butter and lemon mayo, the restaurant also serves wine and beer in an airy setting.
This place is pretty nice. The staff is friendly, prompt and notice you upon arrival. There is construction going on outside and at first it appears as if they are closed. I got the Maine Lobster roll and Lobster macaroni and cheese. (Yes my cholesterol recognizes that). The bread was perfectly buttered and toasted to perfection. The flavor of the mayo was not overpowering the taste of the lobster. Possibly because the lobster pieces are so large, some may love this but not what I was expecting. For me it is my only subjective comment, which is not worthy of taking away a star, and I know that is a personal preference. The mac and cheese was delicious as well. Very creamy, tasteful and just the right amount and size of lobster. Bathrooms are clean and they keep the tables cleaned and turned around pretty quick.
Sallie M — Google review
Lobster Roll was fantastic! Lobster was very well seasoned and cooked. The chips on the side were overly seasoned. I enjoyed the Lobster Mac and cheese, appreciate adding the lobster at a later stage in the cooking process. The shrimp cocktail was also very good with fresh shrimp. The crab fritters were my least favorite and the strawberry cake was descent. Service was on point.
Victor M — Google review
This little place has been on court street for a few years but I hadn't tried it until today. We ended up getting a shrimp roll and a cod sandwich (which might be the best fish sandwich in town). Lobster is apparently expensive these days and the market price was $28, and for me that's a bit steep for 4 bites. The food is excellent but portions are small. There is a huge bar where you can eat, and lots of small tables but not many large tables due to the long skinny size of the restaurant.
Dale Y — Google review
Delicious lobster roll! 🦞 I tried the Connecticut style lobster roll tonight. The meat was very tender and perfectly prepared! I really liked the scallions and celery with the lobster! I also tried the hushpuppies, first time having honey butter with hush puppies, would recommend others to try.
Debbie F — Google review
This was my first time having a lobster roll and Court Street Lobster Bar really loved up to the hype. I was also impressed with the Lobster Poutine. Salty, buttery, and savory, it was the best poutine I've have recently. Also, CSLB is right next to Queen City Exchange which is a cool place to have a pint before or after if you want a slightly larger draft list than what is offered at CSLB.
Christopher M — Google review
I was a huge fan of this place, once I found out about it I would visit often. Tonight however was my first time ordering through Door Dash and I must say that I am highly upset and definitely disappointed!!! I bit into my lobster roll only to find two shells on the first bite. Then upon further inspection to see a roach pressed into tho bread. I am so disgusted and will never return again. The only reason I’m rating a two star review is because my experiences have been great up to this point and the food was delicious on past visits, if you enjoy extra surprises in your food then this is the place for you.
Canda’ce H — Google review
We have been coming here for a few years now - best lobster rolls (and lobster pot pie and lobster mac n cheese) around! Our server, Ray, this past time was excellent! Great weekly specials on food and drinks and all-around good time. Laidback atmosphere, but high quality food!
Chelsea M — Google review
Great place and yummy food! Nice atmosphere! As per the previous review on large lobster pieces, tho I would recommend that the big pieces of lobster be cut up in the roll so it would be easier to eat and enjoyed as a roll. Crab roll, creamed spinach, and lobster bisque is very yummy. They do not have a noticeable sign in front, we had to look for it for 5 min before we can find it, so look for the 23 court st and it's directly across the street. Would not hurt to get a small LED sign?

If you're looking for a unique dining experience, Mr. Crab House is the perfect spot to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy a delicious meal. Recently, I drove an hour with my husband to mark our anniversary and it was well worth it! The atmosphere was inviting, and our waitress Helena made us feel right at home with her friendly service. We visited on a Wednesday around lunchtime when the place wasn't too crowded, allowing us to savor every moment.
Mr. Crab House was really good. The staff is superb, really friendly. The hush puppies are so good! They have corn in them, so so good! We had the chicken strips and fries, mine had the Cajun seasoning on the fries and they were really good. My daughter said they were the best chicken strips she’s had. My friend had the make your own seafood boil with the creamy sauce and loved it. The Mr. Crab iced tea mixed drink was very good as well. Definitely make a stop here.

We had gone to the casino for my 50th bday, and this place wasn’t far, as I was craving seafood. My ONLY complaint is that it was 8:30pm, and they told us immediately 2x that they close at 10. That is plenty of time to eat. Anyway, we are new into Trump days, and life is scary. We(a party of 6) with a white wife, black husband, lesbian adopted daughter, adopted kids with autism and bipolar and ad/hd, and some mixed. We walked into an Asian lady running things and 2 trans waitresses. And guess what? We weren’t black, or what, or trans or gay. We were all humans!!! We needed for nothing at our table! The food was incredible!!!! We will definitely return!!!
Leslie F — Google review
We spent $350 here and were extremely disappointed. We ordered the lobster tail, headless shrimp, Dungeness crab, king crab, and snow crab—and each dish was worse than the last. The seafood boil was surprisingly dry, with no flavor at all. The corn was clearly frozen and awful, and the potatoes were served cold. The oysters had an unpleasant taste—not fishy, but definitely not fresh. On top of the poor food quality, the service was lifeless and the atmosphere dead—we were the only customers in the restaurant on a Sunday at 5 PM. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be coming back. You can find far better seafood elsewhere.

Went in ordered It's offered good selections. The food was very tasty and she is very patient in describing the spice levels cuz I don't really like spicy spicy 👍

Our first time and I will go back again & again. We ordered The Perfect Storm seafood boil and it was amazing! Food was excellent and more than enough for two. Everything tasted fresh & delicious and service was very good. Great meal for the price, especially for fresh seafood in Ohio. Atmosphere was very welcoming and staff were extremely friendly. We went on a Friday, around 7pm, and it was not crowded. Hopefully the obscure location doesn’t hurt business. The trip was well worth it and we will go back again!
Charlie Z — Google review
I come here twice a month just about and have been coming no less than once a month for a solid 1.5years. Pretty much everytime, the food is absolutely delicious. Their crab and seasonings are unmatched and I live for this place!! Always have a great experience especially the servers. Always nice, check on me and get me what I need. Never any issues. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt inclined too this go round because my server was awesome. I wish I got his name. But today I came in and it was very busy, lot of large groups and I guess the restaurant didn’t have enough man power to hand everyone super quickly so I was informed of that and that the food may take a little longer today, which was no problem. Despite being very busy and packed with large groups orders today, my waiter was still so kind and nice and attentive to me. Food still came out quick and was AMAZING!! I love coming here. I bring friends with me here all the time. I love all the staff as well!
Macara W — Google review
This crab house was a diamond in the rough, i personally didn’t expect the excellent service ( Lashonda ) that I received nor did I expect the flavors and taste of food I got from this place. I came from Chicago with a taste for a crab boil and they didn’t disappoint, everything was delicious. Now a couple downsides 1) these drink glasses are way too small for $12 2) I wish they served garlic noodles instead of fried rice. Fried rice already is seasoned well and mixed with the sauce is a bit over seasoning.
Mr M — Google review
Yeah, it's a hidden gem in a strip mall. Their shrimp muscles broils are delicious! I tried a bunch the first time I went. This 2nd time we did fish tried the catfish, whitening, clam chowder was good. Hush Puppies are so good!! They should give em out like rolls. The atmosphere is clean. It's not as busy as I see it should be, the food there is great. Truly recommend for seafood! Worth the price as well!!

Nestled in Clifton/University Heights, K&J Seafood is a delightful local eatery founded by best friends Keyona and Joy. This charming spot specializes in authentic Louisiana-style seafood, offering an extensive menu that caters to both seafood lovers and those who prefer non-fish options.
My recent visit to K & J Seafood was nothing short of extraordinary, from the food to the customer service and even the drinks; every aspect of this dining experience left me and my best friend utterly amazed. A TikTok Treasure Unearthed: Our journey to this culinary haven began with a TikTok discovery, and the excitement was palpable as we drove seven hours to reach our vacation destination. K & J Seafood was our chosen lunch spot, and boy, were we in for a treat! Culinary Bliss: I had the privilege of savoring the wings and the seafood loaded fries, and I must say, I was nearly moved to tears by how incredible they tasted. The culinary craftsmanship on display here is truly remarkable. Nothing was over-seasoned, and nothing was under-seasoned; every dish danced with a symphony of flavors that tantalized the taste buds. The wings were cooked to perfection, with crispy skin giving way to succulent, tender meat. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. The seafood loaded fries were a revelation, a glorious combination of crispy fries generously adorned with a bountiful seafood medley. It was a carnival of tastes and textures that I won't soon forget. Exceptional Customer Service: The staff at K & J Seafood deserve a standing ovation for their warm and attentive service. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like cherished guests. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely passionate about the food they served. It was evident that they took pride in creating memorable experiences for their patrons. Sip and Savor: To complete the feast, we indulged in their drinks, which were nothing short of amazing. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing beverage or a cocktail with a twist, K & J Seafood has you covered. The drinks complemented our meal beautifully and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience. A New Favorite Destination: If you ever find yourself in this city or the surrounding area, I wholeheartedly implore you to pay K & J Seafood a visit. This establishment has won a special place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. In fact, the thought of relocating to the area has crossed my mind because of this culinary gem. K & J Seafood is more than a restaurant; it's a destination where food becomes an unforgettable journey for the senses.

Really loved the food we purchased. My favorite by far was the shrimp poboy sandwich. It was so good and the sauce was poppin. A must try! We also had the fried lobster tail and the ramen noodle, shrimp sausage boill and Madi Gras Lemonade. Will definitely be going back to try more items. We drove an hour to this place and we were not disappointed.

The food was excellent, the lady taking order was super nice and sweet. They work well as a group, the food was the bomb hunny. My kids love seafood and they smashed. We will be back trust and believe that. We got 1lb of the seafood Cajun boil and seafood fries.

My first time dining at K&J Seafood and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The food was prepared perfectly and taste divine. I highly recommend a visit.

Ms. Iesha is a true gift!! Her welcoming smile, courteous and professional demeanor, and the light in her eyes as she described the various, sumptuous menu items made the visit well worth it! The Creole flair and generous portions at reasonable prices ensures we WILL be returning here again soon!! Joy is also a sweetheart. Her speed and efficiency in preparing our order was phenomenal. This hidden gem in Avondale is bringing a much needed alternative to typical seafood boil. The Bearcat boil for the non-seafood connesoir is a definite Hit!! Would give 10 stars if possible!!

Support BLACK OWNED Business people! The service was quick and professional, and don’t let me start on the food! It was not too salty or dry and the portions were just right! It was so damn delicious, I ate the food before I could post. Just FYI once you order they are going to ask that you stand outside as a COVID courtesy.
Brenna T — Google review
Make sure to read the menu if you're a returning customer. I ordered a crab boil and didn't know it no longer comes with shrimp, sausage, & egg. When I called to see if the situation could be rectified in anyway I was told that it couldn't because it's posted on their menu and online. As a long time customer of them since they were in Clifton so I didn't need to look at their menu and I don't order online. I wish something anything could have been done but oh well I'll just find a different place to go to from now on. Just again make sure you read the menu!!
Jejuan F — Google review
Genuinely always an issue with this place. Tried calling to place an order but was rushed off the phone and told to order online. Did that and was given the wrong order which mind you was cold as if it was sitting on the counter all day waiting for somebody to order it so they could get rid of it. Went back to get the right order and that once again was the same as the wrong order: cold, soggy, and included small bready pieces of fish. So much for a made upon request restaurant. Had another issue in the summer where they did not include my crab in an order and they refused to give me a refund and only a restaurant credit. Tried giving them a second chance but they prove time and time again to not give their 100% to every customer who gives them their money.

Lake Nina Restaurant & Tavern is a classic eatery situated by a serene lake, serving up traditional American dishes for over six decades. Renowned for their signature fried fish log, the menu also features an array of non-seafood options such as fried chicken, frog legs, burgers, and double-deckers. The restaurant offers generous portions and quick service in a peaceful setting. While some guests have reported issues with pests, many patrons rave about the delicious food and particularly praise the homemade ranch dressing.
Oh this little treasure, is exactly what I say ! The hot slaw is delicious, the onion rings are also so good, we enjoyed the Giant Fish log ! Absolutely enough for two ! Good cold beer , friendly staff, who is working hard to bring you a delicious meal. This place was absolutely packed, and you can tell the neighborhood loves them. I saw shrimp and sweet potato waffle fries. And to be honest I was jealous. But let's not belittle our fish ! It was absolutely delicious. It was a great day for a motorcycle ride with the breeze between your knees, a dinner stop at the lake Nina Restaurant just made it a perfect ride. It's places like this that put a smile on your face and take you to a happy place !

To begin, the best service by far for such a busy restaurant! Be sure to ask for Brandy. When we arrived, the establishment was packed. We were in a line to be seated. Nonetheless, the staff were moving and we were seated in under five minutes. We had heard about this restaurant from another reviewer and wanted to give it a try. They are known for many really good entrees, but we came for the one on the top of their list. Their famous COD FISH LOG! Our drinks and salads were brought to the table in under five minutes. Brandy was quick even with having several other tables. All of the staff around us were moving quickly and efficiently. We were told by Brandy when ordering that the fish was hand breaded and fried when ordered. So, the wait could be up to 20 minutes. Considering how incredibly busy it was at the time, this was not surprising. Again, to our surprise, our entrees were brought good and hot to our table in under the 20 minute time. Everything was delicious! From their famous hot slaw, served hot and covered in bacon. To their sweet slaw and light rye slices of bread. The fish logs were definitely tasty. I ordered the small which was about four and a half to five inches long. My dinner partner ordered the large serving. This was a huge nine to ten inches long. This was served with rather large crinkle cut fries, fresh lemon and tarter sauce. Over all, the experience was pretty amazing. Brandy anticipated all of our needs and took care of them before we even anticipated them! The entrees were awesome. If I had to find one negative thing, it would be the salad. The dressing was good, the croutons were good and the cherry tomatoes were fresh. The lettuce tasted like it came from a bag though. It is a personal pet peeve. I grew up on a farm and there is definitely a noticable difference between fresh and bagged lettuce. Great job Lake Nina! Oh, by the way, give Brandy a raise. Finding service individuals like her is rare.

Very nice non chain restaurant. We were seeking a location for lent fish, and this place did not disappoint. We were able to get a seat immediately, and the service was pretty fast as well. I didn't remember photos until halfway through dinner. But the other photos are great representation. My only complaint is that the fish did not have much flavor from seasoning. But I use lemon or vinegar, so it was not that big of an issue. However, my husband had to add some salt to his. He said the chicken had a very good flavor and was decently seasoned. The coleslaw was better than I expected as well. I was also glad they had basic crinkle cut fries. I did grab a mixed drink, and my expectations were very low. Well, I was pleasantly surprised that it was very good. We sat inside, but I did notice there was some outdoor seating as well. We love supporting local businesses, so we will plan to return.

What a classic restaurant. They always provide good food and service. There is a reason they are always packed, there are few places like this. Their offerings are southern favorites like their fish log and hot slaw.
Jack K — Google review
Somehow one of our party, food was missed in the kitchen. There were ten (10) of us so a larger party. She ordered a half a fish log with green beans and mashed potatoes. By the time she got her order everyone else had finished their meals. That was the only hiccup. Everything else was great!
Judy G — Google review
Food orders always made to order. Delicious. Prices are amazing. Atmosphere clean and welcoming. Staff friendly. However, it seems once food is brought out the servers disappear until the bill is brought out which is long after we are done eating. We've never once been offered a refill on beverages. This is a continuous experience rather its 11am or 8pm. A simple mid meal check in would make our experience amazing. I would tip much more.

Absolutely love eating here. Hot slaw is amazing. I like the tavern chicken. My husband always gets the fish log. Fries are good. Love the homemade ranch! We sat at the corner booth... Unfortunately my husband had to kill 2 cockroachs during our meal :( they were crawling on the booth chair and he didn't want them crawling on him. Not a pleasant experience. Loved our server... Will be back and will sit somewhere else.

Nada is a vibrant small-chain restaurant known for its gourmet Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The establishment offers a bright and lively space for patrons to enjoy their dining experience. Additionally, Nada participates in events such as taco week, where various locations offer $2 tacos throughout the week. Furthermore, the restaurant is located at 600 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
Went to dinner here solo on a Monday night. The place was pretty full and I got a seat at the bar. I had the non-alcoholic blueberry lemonade, the queso and the steak quesadilla. Everything came out super quickly and was really tasty. I would happily return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely spectacular dining experience at NADA! The food was out of this world — every bite was phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts were incredible, the grapefruit margarita was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the queso was hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had. The cauliflower tacos? To die for — bursting with flavor and truly unforgettable. As amazing as the food was, the service took our experience to another level. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely outstanding — the GOAT of hospitality, like Michael Jordan is to basketball. He made us feel taken care of in every way. And the hospitality didn’t stop there — the hostess, Myecia, had a full list of all the restaurants participating in restaurant week waiting for us as soon as we arrived, without us even asking. That kind of thoughtfulness and service is truly rare. We own our own restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky (Grounded All Day Café), so we know genuine hospitality and great customer service when we see it — and NADA has it all. Fantastic staff, spectacular food, terrific atmosphere, and great music. Five stars all the way!
Rock D — Google review
I'd say Nada has the best tacos in Cincinnati. Just absolutely delicious. All different flavors and nice combinations. You can get vegetarian cauliflower tacos or chicken tacos or shrimp or fish or beef. They're all delicious. And their fajitas and enchiladas are also outstanding. Just great food. And also a wide selection of wonderful alcoholic beverages. It's a lovely, beautiful atmosphere. Eating outside next to the sidewalk is very nice and comfortable. Inside is absolutely exquisite. Decorations are terrific. It's a fun, lovely place to take your family or friends out for a Mexican dinner.

The ambiance was amazing — we chose outdoor seating, and it was perfect for the evening with great lighting and music. The food was delicious — we tried the shrimp fajitas, chicken quesadillas, and enchiladas, and everything was cooked perfectly with bold flavors. The guacamole was super fresh, and the variety of salsas and dips made the meal even better.

First time with my husband grabbing lunch here. We both agreed this was a great experience. The food was delicious, serving sizes were perfect, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Elissa was a fantastic waitress. She asked if we had any allergies and brought a separate basket of chips that weren’t cross-contaminated after I told her my husband is gluten free. She was attentive and super friendly—the servers can make or break a good experience. Pricey, but worth it for a nice treat every now and then.
Virginia B — Google review
The food was good. The service was ok however our waiter was a bit more tending to my friend in which he was being a bit flirty with and that was a bit annoying. He highlighted how my food presentation wasn't as great as my friend's dish. He was more interested in bringing her water than myself. Other than that it was ok.
King S — Google review
My cousin graduated from The University of Cincinnati and after the Graduation Ceremony we went to Nada. We sat in the private room upstairs and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the music and the service. We had a set menu and these were my favorite items: Starters: O.G. Guacamole, First Course: Brussels, Taco: Chicken Al Carbón and Dessert: Churros. I forgot to take pictures of all the food but it was amazing. The Server's were great and the food we didn't eat we took it home. If you have a large party, go to Nada to celebrate! You won't be disappointed.
Alonna D — Google review
An absolute gem in the Cincinnati area. It's not your regular Mexican place, rather an elevated experience at an affordable price. Their world famous braised chicken enchiladas are literally worth the try, a tiny bit of salty though, but would totally recommend. Loved their shrimp tacos and churros for dessert. Their margarita also is worth the try. The quantity of the rice and beans at first felt a tad less but as you start loading up the tacos, that quantity seems reasonable and no kidding, loaded with amazing flavors. The service is fast and the server, oh my god, so nice. Our leftovers were also packed by the staff, which was so convenient for us. The ambiance completely adds to your overall experience. Their washroom is a little tricky to find, which was a funny experience for me.

Bonefish Grill is a contemporary dining destination that specializes in seafood, offering a delightful menu filled with fresh catches, succulent steaks, and refreshing cocktails. One standout dish is the Pineapple Glazed Shrimp—wood-grilled shrimp adorned with a sweet pineapple glaze and crunchy macadamia nuts, served over creamy coconut risotto alongside seasonal vegetables. Recently, I had the pleasure of enjoying takeout from Bonefish Grill thanks to a gift card. The food arrived hot and bursting with flavor!
I’m so impressed with Bonefish Grill. I stopped in on a Monday for $5 martinis and margaritas. The blueberry lemon drop was so good. I also had the potstickers which were on their social hour menu. I love that they have that daily from 4-630! The shaved brussel sprouts salad was EXCELLENT! Don’t sleep on bonefish!!!

They had a spot for us on a busy Saturday night and service was great considering. Seasonal Happy Hour drinks were really tasty and food was decent tasting too. Mahi needed extra lemon juice to give it extra as it tasted a bit flat but otherwise OK. Cedar plank salmon was good though not sure what the cedar plank added for that $3 extra. Worth a shot, don't bother. All in all a fun night out.

Big fan of this place. Food is always tasty. I feel like this time there the best part was Courtney, she looks great care of us the whole time. As for the food, you have to start with their bread with a pesto/oil mix. Probably my favorite thing there. Haha. Mahi was really good and my son loved his burger. The Filet thermador was just okay to me. Cooked at a perfect temperature. But the sauce is missing something. Or to much of something. Other than that it was another great experience at BoneFish.

Sub-par... The happy hour is no happy prices..rgular price with selective menu. The Bang bang Shimp was good and flavorful. The Chicken Marsala was too sweet and the chicken was dry. Menu does not have a lot fish options. However the service was great! Music was good! And the Martinis was on point($5 on Monday only)!

First, the service was excellent, Whitney took great care of us. Their appetizers bang bang shrimps were spicy and the pot stickers tasty. Nice size portion and delicious. Entree delicious as well. I will go back again, because of 2 things; Service and Quality of the food. Also the bread and oil before the meal was on point.

Went for my 4th tasting. This one was a wine pairing. I am not really a wine drinker, but each wine was really good. I was pleasantly surprised. My first tasting was excellent. The second and third, not so good. The drinks for bourbon tasting were excellent, the food, not so much. The drinks for the vodka tasting were way too sweet and the food was just ok. This last wine tasting reminded me of my first experience. Everything was excellent. Still one of my favorite restaurants. Can’t wait to do it again.

Hoping to go back and be able to give 5-stars. Our server was excellent minus her speed! Not real issue there...but 15 minutes before eating drinks when your dead on a Friday is excessive! The food was GREAT! IMO not presented well enough to justify price. The food is slightly overpriced and drinks are slightly underpriced...so I guess that evened out! We'll be back. Just make sure you are not in a hurry!

Service was slow. It took Carol 8 mi utes to say hello to me and it was clear I was there. The burger was good. I also ordered fries and a cheap domestic beer. Fries taste no better than frozen. The Fatboy burger also comes with pickle and I didn't receive any. Noticeable since I love pickle- I asked for pickles & ketchup from Carol twice and a regular(or employee) seated at the end of the bar reminded her also(3rd time) and she never returned with the damn pickles. I'll still be back when on that side of downtown. I won't sit at the bar. I think she was just tired.

Bridgetown Finer Meats is a popular butcher shop and market known for its exceptional fish sandwich, especially during Lent. Located on the West Side, it's a go-to spot for locals seeking the best fish sandwich in the area. The shop offers deli meats, salads, prepared foods, fresh produce, Graeter's ice cream pints, local beers, and more. Customers praise the warm and friendly service as well as the personal attention they receive when making food selections.
Been shopping here a few years now. The quality and service are why I come back. Steaks are always amazing. Had some Filets recently that were delicious. It's the best place for sliced deli. They have an online ordering system that's convenient. Way better customer service compared to Kroger. They made a mistake on my order once, and replaced it, no questions asked. Some of their pre-made foods are excellent too, I recommend the meatballs. Glad such a great place is right down the street. 👍👍

We first discovered Bridgetown Finer Meats when I was looking for a butcher shop that also served sandwiches, and they’ve more than impressed. The shop is warm and inviting, with a team that greets patrons by name, adding a delightful small-town touch. Their sandwiches are perfectly made, and the variety of beef cuts and prepared sides, like twice-baked potatoes and green beans, have kept us coming back. It’s a joy to have a place that brings such a sense of community to the city, and I’ve already recommended them to friends and family. My only wish is that they would share special promotions or pricing on Facebook. Thank you for making us loyal patrons!

A West side gem. Deli meats, salads, prepared foods, fresh fruits and veggies, sides, you name it Graeter's ice cream pints, local beers, and more. Today we came in and ordered fresh deli meat sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious. The service you get there is so warm and friendly. The Precinct By Jeff Ruby is an elegant and upscale steakhouse located in Columbia-Tusculum. Housed in a historic building that used to be the Cincinnati Police Department's Sixth Precinct, the restaurant offers handcrafted steaks and seafood dishes along with a selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Despite its sophistication, The Precinct maintains a neighborhood feel, inviting patrons to purchase Jeff Ruby's steaks for home cooking.
We visited Jeff Ruby’s Precinct last night to celebrate my birthday, and as always, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My family and I dine here several times a year, usually with a party of 8 to 14 people, and each visit is consistently outstanding. Last night we were seated in the main dining area, and our server Charlie provided top-tier service from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening seamless and enjoyable. In addition, Dakota, Brandon, and Chad each went out of their way to ensure every detail was perfect truly a team effort that elevated the experience. The food was phenomenal, as expected Jeff Ruby’s always delivers the highest quality in both cuisine and ambiance. Five-star service all the way around. Highly recommend for any special occasion or an unforgettable night out.

We came for Date night, made reservations for 9:30pm. Sat in the bar area, wished it was away from where the waiters have to walk through from kitchen to dining room. This place is nice and have a lot of decor. I order my steak to be well done no pink but had to send it back to be cooked more/longer. Drinks are great. Waiter was great and attentive. My wife and I don’t usually spend this kind of money, but we came here for our anniversary and were blown away. The staff were so kind and knowledgeable and the quality of the ingredients were very evident. The homemade Mac and Cheese was unreal and the steak and lobster were wonderful. I really enjoyed the old fashioned and my wife loved her mocktail. This is a fantastic spot for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

A business partner came in town and he was excited to get back to The Precinct. It was a great night of fantastic food and phenomenal service. We were seated right away and started off with two orders of the Jumbo shrimp. The raw bar is one of the best things this restaurant offers, don't skip it. Our steaks were delivered to perfection and the Lobster Mac n Cheese is a must!! We were surprised with a dessert delivered to us which was called in by a friend that knew we were dining there. Again, delicious and we were extremely happy and full!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Due to location, valet is the only convenient parking option. The history and architecture of this building is awe-inspiring. The interior design is inviting and perfect for groups, families, & couples. The chandeliers, stained glass windows and the red velvet-lined booths, bring class to this former Cincinnati Police Precinct building. The service is top-notch. Servers are dressed in suit and tie, and they are very knowledgeable as would be expected in such a fine dining restaurant. The food is amazing. You will not find a better selection of steaks in the area. Jeff Ruby only offers the finest meat. The homemade bread, salads, sides, steaks and desserts are all delicious.

As high end places go this is one of the best. It also has tremendous value. The prices are better than. Some of the other places I've been, with sides included. The crown jewel of Cincinnati steakhouses, the original and undeniably one of the best. The hatchet steak was prepared to perfection, and even as someone who isn't fond of seafood, I found the crab cake to be exceptional. Both the wedge and Greek salads were ideal accompaniments. Adding to the experience, the old-fashioned cocktail was superb, and the gold air ruby dessert—a delightful combination of mousse, chocolate cake, toffee balls, topped with raspberry cognac whipped cream and scotch caramel—was the perfect finale to a memorable birthday celebration.

The definition of Hospitality from when we exited our cars with the valet attendants to the hosts when we entered, and the team who served our party at the table. Not snobby or pretentious, the staff is very warm and personable. They engaged with our little ones, made honest recommendations on food and wine, and they made my mom and dad feel special on their special night. SUPER TIP FOR MORE WINE AND DESSERT!!! Split plate. I had no idea we could, but it is amazing. They prepare wonderful split plates. My wife and I split a steak Burrow and I ordered a separate salad. All the steaks are amazing. You cant lose. The mac and cheese is famous for a reason. The best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. The smokiness, the mouth feel, the flavor. Best part was they weren't dry and overcooked. Perfection. The butter pie was so good. I'm glad for the split plate. Easy to see why this place has so much history and success. The steak delivered that signature char flavor, the people and rooms create a wonderful experience, and the history is literally on every wall. Dont forget split plates, brussel sprouts, and butter pie!!

Incline Public House, named after the historic Cincinnati inclines, offers a relaxed atmosphere and an American menu. Situated in the original location of the Price Hill House Restaurant, it provides stunning views of downtown Cincinnati from its seasonal outdoor deck. The restaurant is known for its delicious American cuisine served for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests can savor popular pizzas like the Prosciutto Fig or create their own with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
10/10 Recommend! My family and I loved everything about this place. The views, the food, and the service were awesome! The Short Rib Poutine was good, but the Grippos-Crusted Mac & Cheese Bites stole the show! We will order more of these next time! We also ordered the Caprese, Garbage, and Deluxe Spicy Italian Pizzas. All very good, but I think Garbage won my vote as the best of the 3 (it was close). We will definitely be back to try more of these menu items!

A great place to eat when the weather is nice and you want to eat outside with a view! Their menu is unique and has some great food choices. The restaurant is a bit small and the wait time can build quickly. My favorite was their fried grippos Mac n cheese ball appetizer! I’m always a fan of their pizzas too. My husband liked his brisket burger.

Great place with an event greater view! Had great service on a busy Wednesday evening when I arrive with a very important client I'll be working with and reporting to, had a great time with delicious food. Parking was pretty rough to find but eventually found a spot. This is my first visit and can't wait to explore more of this amazing city and this amazing restaurant! Be ready to take pictures of the view like I did!!📸

From the food to the service, to the beautiful view of the city of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. It was absolutely amazing. Our server, Andrew, was very kind and friendly to us. Great service, great food. Food is a little pricey but great portion sizes. Atmosphere inside is quite loud but can still have a conversation. Overall 4/5 stars. Would come again!

One of my favorite spots which was even better with Brendan as our server! He was incredibly attentive and made sure we had a great experience!Such a perfect view of the river and Cincinnati with a perfect outside option which I highly recommend! The patio has good shade and a great breeze! We love this place and the people here ! Will definitely be back ♥️

They've got a decent variety of food on the menu. I'd definitely go back to try other items. The bathroom has two stalls; one handicapped and a regular stall. It was clean at a busy hour!

Great view of Cincinnati from Incline Public House. Atmosphere outside was very nice. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. Otherwise entrees and pizza were solid, nothing to write home about. We had a pizza, fish and chips and Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Iced tea was weak and bland. Overall, the view was the attraction. Was getting quite busy when we left around 730pm. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous.

Carlo & Johnny By Jeff Ruby is an elegant and sophisticated steakhouse located in a historic Montgomery mansion. The restaurant, owned by renowned local restaurateur Jeff Ruby, offers a 1933 gangster steakhouse theme with a supper club-reminiscent setting. Known for its USDA Prime steaks and extensive seafood offerings, the upscale spot also features live entertainment. The menu includes handcrafted steaks, fine wine, and a 'Who Dey??' sushi roll with grilled shrimp and salmon.
So glad to have given this place a second chance! Grace and her team really made the experience special. The food was exceptional. From the appetizers all the way through to dessert I was amazed by the flavors and freshness. The oysters Rockefeller were delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! The butter pie left me wanting to take another slice to go! Highly recommend. A perfect meal and nice location for a special occasion.

My family had a wonderful dinner last night at Carlo & Johnny. We've been here many times, but this experience felt extra special. Our server, Megan was very kind and knowledgeable and made great suggestions on drinks, appetizers and dinner. And her assistant, Jackson R was an absolutely delightful young man! He kept our waters and our bread full and quickly cleaned our table between courses. And, he was such a pleasure to chat with. The manager, Jordan stopped by to check on us and we had a lovely conversation with him also. The great food, great atmosphere and phenomenal staff keep our family returning to the Ruby's restaurants. We look forward to coming back again soon.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and it was absolutely perfect! The space upstairs was beautiful and easily accommodated all of our guests. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of the entire evening. We were even able to show a slideshow during dinner, which made the night extra special. And of course, the food was phenomenal — just as amazing as always! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this venue for any event or celebration!

We chose Carlo & Johnny for our 30th Wedding Anniversary dinner with our kids and grandkids (10 of us) it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful! Update: 5/25 I am beyond impressed a representative from the restaurant read my review and reached out to get more details. Of all the reviews I have ever posted about a restaurant no one from the establishment has ever contacted me to apologize in person or to get more details. This restaurant group really is top-notch! This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area. Celebrating a special occasion is just made extra special here. The food is always wonderfully prepared and delicious. Our party of four had wonderful meals in the pictures you’ll see chicken parmesan, fillet mignon, New York strip and ribeye. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sauce on the chicken parm was wonderful. We had a sushi appetizer and a few drinks all wonderful. On this particular occasion our service seemed a little slow I understand that they’re trying to create a moment, but we waited at least 10 or not 15 minutes for him to come and pick up the check from out table. There were also other moments during the evening, where we felt like we were slightly overlooked. With Jeff Ruby, restaurants, I expect the service to be exceptional. This was not the case with this dinner. If you’ve never eaten at a Jeff Ruby restaurant, I highly recommended. It’s great for a special occasion. The decor is always beautiful and the atmosphere is always comfortable.

We had an exceptional and truly welcoming evening at Carlo and Johnny’s. Firstly, Kayla and her team Meghan, Jaxsen, and Liam, set the tone with outstanding service, perfect timing, and a friendly, professional approach that made the night special. The raw bar was fresh and beautifully presented, the Freddy Salad and Collinsworth steak were both phenomenal, and we finished with crème brûlée and coffee that couldn’t have been better. Charlie, the GM, stopped by to check in, and his leadership and warm personality were evident throughout the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was flawless, excellent food, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a first-class team. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit.

Carlo and Johnny’s was absolutely incredible! We were there for my boyfriend’s first visit to a Jeff Ruby’s restaurant, and Tyler and Phillip made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, friendly, and so attentive. They truly made us feel like VIPs the entire night. The food was amazing (as always), but their service took everything to the next level. Tyler and Phillip are the definition of outstanding hospitality. We’ll definitely be back – thank you for making his first Jeff Ruby’s experience so special!

Chart House is a high-end chain restaurant that offers a classy setting with stunning views, particularly at its location in Newport, Kentucky. The restaurant's expansive dining space features large windows that overlook the Ohio River and the Cincinnati cityscape. Known for its seafood and steakhouse fare, Chart House offers dishes such as Mahi Mahi, Spiced Yellowfin, Clam Chowder, and slow-roasted prime rib. The restaurant also boasts personalized menus for special occasions and requires dressing up for the experience.
We had an excellent time at the Chart House. All of our food was top quality and our server was one of the best I’ve ever had. He was very honest when we asked for recommendations and was helpful throughout the entire experience. Our waters never went empty, haha! I believe his name was either Jerry or Jeremy, though I could’ve misheard. For our appetizer we had the Shrimp Beignets. They were melt in the mouth and the chipotle aioli was very flavorful. My partner ordered the cucumber and honey mock-tail which was very refreshing. I ordered their espresso martini which was rich and strong. For our entrées, I had the Lamb Chops while my partner ordered the Lobster & Shrimp Carbonara. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I loved the added pomegranate for a burst of flavor with the gravy and mashed potato. The carbonara was wonderful. The lobster was plentiful in the pasta though the shrimp was a tad overcooked. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake which, as expected, was heavenly. A beautiful view with excellent food and high class service made our trip to North all the more special!
Vivian B — Google review
The ambience of the restaurant was awesome, just overlooking the water. The presentation of the food was good too. I had the Salmon with a light cream sauce and the roasted vegetable. I also had the sunset beets, which was really delicious. Honestly, I enjoyed that the most. Ordered the mini lava cake, which was highly rated by the staff. It was good, but it may have been slightly overcooked as it there was not much "lava" remaining. Having said that, it would not deter me from coming again. Also, service was great too.

Chart House was once a luxury dining chain at premier locations in major cities, typically, on the waterfront. This location, like one other I visited in the Sarasota area, is maintained as well as possible given its age. The decor is dated and the food is acceptable but not great; however, prices remain very high. I ate alone and my bill was almost $70 for the Prime Rib dinner, which included salad (which was fresh) and dessert. A nice evening and the staff is attentive but there are much better options at this price point.
Jeff P — Google review
I had the special seafood meal with salad, skewer of steak and shrimp, and lava cake. It tasted very good but was barely warm. View of was great and server. Come prepared to pay a little more than other places but probably worth it.

Our first time dining at Chart House and we really enjoyed it! I got the “Chart Your Couse” and thought it was a great deal for $57 (lobster bisque, prime rib, lava cake). The sea bass & crab risotto was also good, but I thought the prime rib was better. I really liked my Mango Mojito. Our server, L, was really nice!
Taylor T — Google review
The chart house was great! L was a great waiter, he was attentive and gave us several re fills. I felt compelled to leave a review, as I was only in town for a few days and wanted to eat somewhere on the river, I tried one of the establishments next door and was told they wouldn’t seat me outside, the charthouse opened the outdoor seating even though my group were the only customers to ask to sit outside the night I went. Great service all around
Brady S — Google review
I ordered the bouillibase or seafood stew the mussels were bland, and the shrimp was overcooked , the broth was greasy and brasingly acidic. My husband got the shrimp linguine the shrimp was way over cooked and the mini lava chocolate cake was way over cooked it was a soft chocolate cake no lava flow i feel like it has gone down hill in the last couple of times we have went have been a downer

Nestled in the heart of Mount Lookout, Zip's Cafe has been a beloved fixture since 1926, drawing locals and visitors alike with its mouthwatering burgers and classic pub fare. This charming eatery is not just known for its delicious flame-broiled Avril-Bleh beef patties served on honey-egg buns but also for its unique ambiance featuring a model train that runs along the ceiling, adding a whimsical touch to your dining experience.
I would say a 5 out of 5. It was cool to experience a business that’s been in business for 100 years. It takes a lot to accomplish that milestone. The burger, beer and fries were very delicious.
Michael B — Google review
The service here is great — friendly and fast, especially considering how packed this place usually is. Zips is always busy, so expect a wait in line. It’s a true Cincinnati staple with plenty of history and that classic, laid-back neighborhood vibe. That said, the food is just okay. The burgers are fine — nothing mind-blowing, but solid. The fries this time were a bit stale. Our server did their best to keep up, but they were clearly swamped. If you’re in a hurry, this probably isn’t the spot for a quick bite. Come with a little patience, soak up the nostalgic atmosphere, and go more for the experience than for the food itself.

We received tremendous service from Averi prior to the Reds Game. The food was outstanding, especially the Zip Burgers, which we all ordered Medium Rare. The Fries & Onion Rings were also good, and the BBQ sauce served with the Saratoga Chips was a nice touch. We look forward to returning ASAP. A++

You don't stick around for 100 years without making a few friends. Zips embodies that. The food is pretty straight forward Cincinnati burger fare, but they do it well. Always a few good beers on tap, and the kids still love the train.

Arnold's Bar & Grill is a lively spot offering American cuisine with vegan options and live music in a historic setting adorned with art. Established in 1861, it holds the title of the oldest continuously running tavern in Cincinnati. The interior features dark wood walls and vintage memorabilia, including a bathtub rumored to have been used for gin-making during Prohibition.

Stopped to have a drink and dinner on our way to Louisville. Met a couple regulars that shared the history of the bar which was the main reason for the rating. Loved what they shared and the history of the pub. Our service was great and quick. Great options for a pub. The food and drinks we had were ok.

Love this place on certain Sat nights when Moonshine Drive, (a GREAT Blue Grass group), is there. They play out in the large sheltered patio area. The first time we went for dinner to hear the group, the food was decent. This time, it was over an hour before we learned they lost our ticket, then when we finally got our meals, only the salad was better than mediocre. If Moonshine Drive hadn't been playing, we would have left. The only reason I would consider making the trip again is to enjoy the music. Maybe if the owner had been there, food and service might have been better. We'll see. In the meantime, you'd better hang on to Moonshine Drive!

The food was unique and very good. Their Old Fashioned is the best ive had in Cincinnati, and the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. The outdoor area will be the only place I go to enjoy everything they have to offer, as there is a stage for live performances. The staff are all polite and helpful. This will be one of my new favorite spots

Arnold's is a great place for good food and a cold beer. Our 6 person lunch party ate in the covered outdoor area reached by waking through the long bar. There was a piano player playing blues music which created a great atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive. Well worth the visit. We will be back when we're in town.

There's a reason this place has been around for so long. The food and drinks are phenomenal as well as the service. Sitting in the courtyard listening to live music was the perfect date night!

Really cute historic bar and restaurant with live music. The outdoor seating area has a stage and they had a really fantastic band playing. The food was really good. I tried the green tomato burger, the wings And the fried cauliflower. All were delicious. The drinks were good and it's all reasonably priced. They have vegetarian options and gluten free. It's handicap accessible. There's better parking in the lot behind and then you can cut through the alley. The historic building it's in is beautiful And they've done a good job keeping that speakeasy kind of vibe. It's close enough to be able to walk to eat first tand then walk other events. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended

Arrived in Cincinnati early and the hotel room wasn’t ready. Found this nice little hole in the wall bar and restaurant. Opened up into a very interesting dining experience. I tried 2 different IPA’s which were great. For dinner I had the delicious wings and the meatballs and another beer. When I ordered my 4th beer I asked what the percentage was of this particular beer, at which point the waitress made a rude comment “well that’s going to be your last one” my friends and I laughed assuming her dry sense of humour must be a her “thing”. Nope, she was dead serious, yet continued serving my two coworkers drinks. Shelby would be better served washing dishes or bussing tables until she can understand how her position affects the customers experience and further patronage.

In addition to sushi rolls, Embers also serves nigiri options and sashimi platters.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. We ordered 6 different sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Best sushi I’ve had in Ohio, maybe best I’ve had anywhere. The cocktails were great as well and the crab cake appetizer was amazing. The service was spectacular, our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. My husband took me here for my birthday and when the waitress heard we were there celebrating, she gave us a dessert on the house. That being said, the creme brûlée was the best I’ve ever had, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone we know!

Nice place for a celebratory occasion. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very friendly. It’s well lit, not too hot or too cold, but after about an hour the chairs (we had a 4 top and not a booth, which is fine) are not very comfy. I had the chicken which was good, not outstanding but good. The three red meat eaters all had steak. I was told the filet was a bit dry and the ribeye didn’t have a lot of flavor (he said it could have used some butter in the sear). We also started with sushi which was good but could have been rolled better, it basically fell apart when we picked it up. I was also told the duck fat fries were really good. I doubt we’d frequent again, it was pricey and there are better cuts of meat elsewhere.

This place was seriously so good. I've been hesitant to try it out because it looks like a chain restaurant on the outside. But it was beautiful inside and the steak was one of the best I've had since being in the area. The roasted garlic with it was a really nice touch. Good service.

Ordered a manhattan and tried to get the sweet vermouth eliminated but was informed its premixed. The drink came out sweeter than I like. The GM said he has had the same issue and brought me a shot of bourbon to even it out at no cost. I hadn’t been here in a while and this type of interaction and service nudges me to return sooner.

My husband and I tried Embers for the first time on Saturday and we weren't disappointed. Our server, Nick, was amazing and walked us through the menu and all the specials. We started with an Ocean roll and a California roll. We shared a Cesar Salad and each of us had a NY strip. For our side we had the au gratin potatoes and skipped out on dessert because we were too full. The sushi was really good and overall the steaks had good flavor, not quite Ruby quality but up there.

Our service in our private room was top notch. The wines selected by our server were very good. Cocktails very good. Bread service was great. I split the green goddess salad and it was perfect. The steaks however were not good. Three of us ordered different steaks-Tomahawk , the New York strip and filet. Unfortunately all were not very tender. Also the bleu cheese topping on my tomahawk was not appealing. I thought it was supposed to be like a crust but it was just half melted and not good. The Boursin potatoes were also disappointing. The Oreo donut dessert was very tasty.

I have to admit, I was not a fan. We were politely greeted and that was a great start. Two of us got the wrong drinks and never got the correct ones until quite some time later. I admit I am not a fan of the Mac and cheese, it tasted like a roux and needed seasoning. The burger I had to me had too much sauce so it was a mess. I did take off the mac and I love that it is a handmade burger and not a frozen patty.

Great little place! We went and had dinner very early so there was not much of a crowd and ate outside. We got the Oktoberfest Mac (not on the menu, you have to ask for it, pictured first) and the Fleetwood Mac. Both stellar. Loved the Dijon mustard on the Oktoberfest one and the pesto in the Fleetwood was a great flavor paired with the mozzarella. It was lacking in the tomato category but it wasn’t missed much. We also got the Keystone Queso which was very good. The chips were fantastic and homemade. All in all good place!

Mac and cheese was a bit runny and I was disappointed in the flavor of brisket pieces in dish call Black Sabbath. Chicken fingers were great and quesadillas were very good! Street seating was very nice.

Just did a carry-out order. Got two orders of chicken tenders, fried pickles, kid's mac and cheese, and an eieio burger. Never been more disappointed in a food order. Burger was severely over cooked and smaller than a fast food burger (spent $13 for this and side of chips) Chicken was dried out to the point that I was unable to bite through one of them (spent $2 per tender) The Mac container was not only not full but also dry and caked together. ($5 for that) The pickles tasted great... After they spent an additional 7 minutes in my air fryer. Before that they were super soggy. ($9 for that) After the tip, spent $55 dollars for food that was worse than most fast food I've had the displeasure of eating. My family has eaten at Keystone for years and it's just been recently that the food has gone down hill. Not only have the portions been steadily shrinking, but the final quality has suffered as well. Based on tonight's experience, we probably won't be returning to this location in a good long while. Food simply isn't worth the standard menu price.

I was only in Cincinnati for the weekend and ate here twice just so I could try a different dish. I highly recommend the Fleetwood Mac and the fried pickles. I would venture to say these were some of the best fried pickles I have had in a long time. The service was great and the food was prepared quickly. The live performer on Thursday night really helped set the mood for the evening. I really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely stop by again when I’m in town.

Pizza is soooo good! Thin crust is crispy and the sausage is amazing on the truffle sausage pizza! If you sit at bar, you watch the pizzas be made in their fire brick oven.

The burger and tots were decent, nothing extraordinary, but the service made up for it—staff were super polite and friendly. The vibe inside was cool and welcoming. The surprise standout was the chocolate chip cookie—fresh, delicious, and only $2.50.

Good atmosphere, excellent service & awesome pizza!! A block or so up from the river pier. We visited right before the WEBN Labor Day fireworks show. Place was full, but service was still good.

I love this place so much! I go every monday since they have woodfired pizzas for $12!! The staff are so friendly and kind 💞😊

I was there before a Bengals game so the place was busy but the barman was attentive and the service was good. I ordered the bacon, apple, and blue cheese pizza which was very tasty and had an excellent crust although, if anything, had a bit too much blue cheese but it's normally the opposite. There was a decent craft beer selection as well.

We enjoyed delicious food for two days. The pizza deserves attention! We are very satisfied and ready to come back here again!

Restaurant
KungFood Amerasia is a quirky Taiwanese restaurant located in Covington, offering a diverse menu of Chinese dishes and an extensive selection of craft beers. The restaurant's eclectic decor features Kung Fu movie posters and paper lanterns, creating a unique and comfortable dining atmosphere. Known for its laid-back vibe, excellent service, and delicious food, Amerasia is a popular spot in Northern Kentucky. Dishes like the Dragon Breath wontons and General Chu's orange sesame street chicken are favorites among patrons.
Excellent food, great table service and the food came out super fast. The sesame chicken level 3 was perfect. Level 4 is where the heat really begins. The apps are fantastic as well. The pork egg roll and dumplings were delicious. Definitely will be returning.

4 of us ate here on a Friday evening while cycle touring. We all had appetizers, drinks, and entrees. Though not expensive or “fine dining”, all of us agreed that this is an exceptionally good and well-balanced restaurant. One of the best, and cycle touring has given us the full range. All staff cheerful, helpful, well-informed, and handoff well. Perfectly seasoned, delicious, and healthy meals. Very interesting decor, lively and happy patrons, background music well chosen and at right volume for conversation. Highly recommended!

I had a fun and unexpected experience walking past Kungfood on my way to another restaurant but was drawn in by its clever and overtly Asian pop-culture vibe. The eclectic interior draws from all kinds of Asian cinema and cultural references, making it visually fascinating. The shotgun-style space is cozy, with the bar and dining area up front, the kitchen in the middle, and a quirky back section with restrooms, a small shop selling drinks and knickknacks, and another bar where you pick up takeout. I noticed four tables pushed together in the back and asked a server about them—they turned out to be Mahjong tables! I’m not sure if they host game nights or if the owners just love Mahjong, but it adds to the charm. The food was delicious. You can stick with American-style Chinese favorites or venture into more authentic dishes—many of which have a Taiwanese influence, as the owners are from Taiwan. Overall, it’s a wonderful little place I plan to revisit, especially to bring friends who haven’t experienced Taiwan or who would appreciate the colorful, graphic eye candy. I’d also love to see what it’s like here at night!

I really enjoyed my lunch. The service was phenomenal!!!! The food was very good. And I love the fact that they let you choose your spice level because unlike everyone else these days I am not a fan of heat. Lol.

Unfortunately, I cannot review this place highly. I have tried both dine in and carry out. The portions are laughably small on the carryout side, especially with the way the economy is right now. $12.99 here, and I could go walk to Bridges right down the street which will give me a ton of food for a similar price, not to mention a variety in what I receive. The atmosphere here is amazing - one of the most interesting looking restaurants I've been to in a long time. Unfortunately, the reality is that the food simply does not match the atmosphere. The portions you receive for carry out should be about 2x where it is right now to be worth the squeeze. Outside of portions, the food itself is... okay at best. Less flavorful than your traditional hole-in-the-wall carryout joint, too. I would recommend finding one of those styles of restaurants and avoiding this one altogether based on the price tag. The amount of time waited for carry out was also high. All that said, this is maybe my biggest disappointment when it comes to eating in Covington. Especially with my personality and interests, this seems like it would be a perfect place to eat and grab a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is far outclasses the food -- and let's not forget that the food is THE most important aspect of ANY place to eat, especially in this economy.
V K — Google review
I got chicken and mixed vegetables and the big Bertha egg roll, the egg roll was tasty but the veggie version was very one note and tasted mostly of cabbage. It would be nice if they modified the mix with some different things like shredded carrots or something. Everything was very tasty and it was a nice bar with a very neat atmosphere

Hits. Every. Time. Their vegetarian meals are incredible — the pad thai, how fun noodles, sesame tofu and general tsos are my favorite, and their big bertha egg rolls are insanelyyyyy good. Great service and fast always, big portions. A gem.

By far one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The imperial beef stew was out of this world delicious. It was piping hot and wonderfully spicy. I didn't want to stop eating. The service was great and had very neat decor.

Mr. Sushi is a relaxed hangout in Cincinnati that offers a wide variety of creative rolls, nigiri, and traditional Japanese dishes. The restaurant has gained a reputation for its consistently excellent food quality, particularly its sushi rolls and udon noodles. With warm service and a tranquil ambiance, Mr. Sushi provides an enchanting dining experience for sushi enthusiasts. The menu is extensive, catering to different preferences and tastes.
I went to dinner by myself to treat myself after a long week. I got their Vegetable Spring Rolls and Mr. Sushi's Spicy Chicken. They were delicious 😋 I find that this place is one of comfort for me because I just absolutely love Asian food and their atmosphere is just so cozy. They even have my favorite beer, which they never have anywhere, which I was delighted to find. Red Stripe beer 🍺 👌 goes so well with Asian food. One of my favorite places ❤️

The experience of this place reminded me, once again, DO NOT EAT ASIAN FOOD IN OHIO, especially Sushi, not only far from authentic, it was horrible. From the empty restaurant, immature service, to bad attitude, to awefully made sushi rice…. The waitress did not tell us she was new, and did not bother to clarify anything with us while taking our orders, and acted like she got it all. BUT when she put in our orders, it was ALL screwed up. After we waited forever, wrong order came, she talked to the “manager”, the manager did not bother to confirm anything with us, instead just put in another random item on behalf of us LOL, what a joke, then brought it to us, and said, I put this in based on our avocado roll order, which is the only thing came out right. we did not eat any of the items they gave us that was wrong, the experience itself already made me lost my appetite. SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE … I cannot say it enough, this is the ONE thing that differentiates a good restaurant from the rest. I should’ve known….ugh

It was a long time since I had delicious Japanese food. The service was fast, and since they didn't have any large bottles of beer, they replaced it with two small bottles of larger capacity for the same price. The stir-fried vegetables in particular were delicious with a Chinese-style seasoning.

Food was delicious (and consistent) as always. My sister and I went last night for a last minute dinner and were taken care of by the lovely Jasmine. She was so so wonderful, hospitable, and filled to the brim with great energy. We can’t wait to go back to see her and eat more yummy stuff (: Thank you for making our night special!!!!

We came early for dinner. It was not too busy. Some people preferred sitting at the bar. There were only 2 persons who waited tables, also handled the register, and takeout orders. The service was quick, even only with 2 waiters. Food: 1. Kalbi was ok. The meat was tender, but little bit chewy. 2. Udon was good. The broth was good. 3. Tempura was standard- nothing special. 4. The entree came with salad and miso soup. The salad dressing was different-most sushi/japanese salad dressing was either wafu or miso or sesame. 5. Spicy tuna roll was good. Overall was good.

LARGE sushi menu. I was in heaven as I am an avid sushi eater and always trying to find new sushi I haven't tried. I got the Caterpillar Roll and the Spicy Cody Roll minus the sriracha, which were both good. My partner got the beef fried rice with no veggies and the steak was somewhat overcooked but still decent. Prices are a little high but the quality of the food was great. Only bad thing was you pay individually for each side of yum yum/ginger dressing/eel sauce that you get which is about $1 for each.

It has been a prominent dining spot since 2008 and prides itself on serving traditional cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Went for lunch and sat on the patio. Very good service! Everyone was kind and made us feel welcomed. We got the full sized fish and chips to share and the portion was perfect for two on a hot day. Loved the batter on the fish and the fries were thick and full of potato. Enjoyed a local draft beer. A large fan on the patio was broken, but fortunately we had our own small travel fan that kept us comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

Great Establishment We had a celebration of life for my father here and the event could not have been more seamless- absolutely stress free with excellent communication and planning, to having evrything ready on the day of the event. Carol was excellent at making certain food, staff and audio visual equipment were set and ready. Destiny and her fellow waiters were very attentive and accomodating- they received high regards from all the guest. The food was excellent as well complimenting the whole experience. I would encourage anyone wanting to plan an event that they very much so consider this well organized establishment. Mike Folger

Went for burger week. Had the bousin burger and the wife had the BBQ Burger. Both were slightly above average but nothing to rave about. Burger was a little dry but the bousin cheese was excellent. Skip the gouda mac and stick with the roasted garlic potatoes or the births chips. They also serve THC drinks from 50 west and those are delish. Only 1 bar tender so drinks took awhile but they ended up comping 1 for the wait, so that was nice. Lastly, my favorite, the rueban rolls. Amazing.

Went here last night for a birthday dinner. I ordered the Beerhaven Burger (I think that's the name) with fries and a Pear Nectar mocktail. We arrived around 6pm-ish and there was clearly a work event or something going on but the dining room was still open for walk-ins. It took a few minutes for someone to finally greet us at the hostess stand but once they did we got to pick where we wanted to sit. The dining room is nice but the seats with the fabric upholstery definitely could use some cleaning, to say the least. My Pear Nectar mocktail was perfect! I'm pregnant and definitely appreciated the mocktail portion of the menu booklet on the table. It was fruity with a bit of tartness. It was around $7 which is kind of pricy for the size and non-alcohol aspect, in my opinion, but it was still good. 4/5 stars due to price and size. My burger and fries were FRESH and HOT! The pretzel bun was toasted on the inside and they added plenty of cheese and fried onions. I wanted to eat more than just half but we went to get frozen yogurt after dinner. The fries were also well salted, hot, and crisp. No complaints about my food whatsoever. 5/5 stars. Service was decent. Our waiter was kind and helpful but not always around when we needed something. We quite literally never saw him walking around, especially when we were handed back the check and there wasn't a pen to write a tip. My mom had to hunt someone down to get a pen. Otherwise we couldn't have left a tip! 4/5 stars. Would I return? Heck yeah. I'm more inclined towards the food vs the service, and the food was amazing. I'd like to come back on a weekend when they do live music. It'd be a great date night.

Known for its smoked meats, craft beers, and extensive whiskey selection, it's the perfect spot to catch a game while indulging in decadent barbecue. The menu features popular items like the Catfish Dinner and during Lent, they offer specials like Smoked Tuna Dip and Smoked Crab Cakes on Fridays.
We had a nice time at Smoke Justis. We found a spot on one of the couches in the back by the bar. We went up to the bar to get drinks. It wasn’t crazy busy and still took a long long time to get our order in. My wife had a cosmo which she didn’t really care for. My old fashioned was really good right on point. We split the nachos, we got the full with smoked pork. They were very good. Loaded with toppings, we planned on it being an appetizer for dinner somewhere else later that evening but were so full we never got dinner. What made this a 5 star experience was I came in initially to see if they had koozies for sale because we get one every place we travel to and they don’t sell them but a worker went to the back and found a couple for us to have which was awesome as we had popped in 10-15 places before this one before we were gonna walk back over to Cincinnati. Really appreciated that. Would definitely check them out again and get the nachos!

This place looks amazing on the inside. One of the coolest looking bars that I have seen in the greater Cincinnati area. They have an excellent bourbon selection, and the bar tender was able to make me a delicious mint julip. The place used to be a phone operator switch board called the Citizens Telephone Building. It has amazing architecture on the inside, you just don’t see buildings like this anymore. Staff were friendly, and the bar tender was great. I would definitely come back again.

Ordered their $13 cobb salad with extra ranch to go. I recieved a side salad with 1 half full ramekin of ranch. There isn't enough ranch to cover the salad with the turkey in it so I had to remove it to be able to eat the dry lettuce..... 1st and last time eating here.

The manager here was so lovely and thorough in finding me something I could have, which was their wings and they were DELICIOUS! Smoke Justis has an amazing atmosphere and Great service, waiter was very friendly, we had the smoked wings appetizer and they did not disappoint. My meal was the smoked meat plate, the brisket was amazing, and the ribs were just ok, a little dry if I had to say anything negative, but not a deal breaker. Our party also had the brisket Mac n cheese and thought is was delicious, although the last plate was the smoked chicken bacon ranch wrap that was middle of the line. Overall we really liked Smoked Justis and will be back.

La Mexicana Restaurant is a simple eatery located in Newport, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. It's known for serving some of the city's best tacos, including options like tacos al pastor, barbacoa, carne asada, lengua, and sesos. Vegetarians can enjoy fillings such as seasoned pumpkin flower, corn truffle, hongos, beans and queso fresco.
What a great little restaurant. Have driven by it so many times but have never stopped in until today. Let me start by saying their chips and salsa are seriously slapping. I assume they are fried in house. So good. Decent amount of choice on the menu, lots of things with tortillas and then things like fish, tamales, menudo, etc Prices are very reasonable for the large portion sizes

Delicious reuben, served with a fantastic potato pancake (waffle cut, crispy on the outside, tender inside) and a side of pickles. Tasty soft rye bread for the sandwich. Great flavor to the meat. Sauce and cheese both added something. Good size portion as well. Friendly service, didn't take very long to be served my food. I'd definitely return.

Cozy location and quick service, took less than 5 minutes to get my food. I got the famous reuben which came with a potato pancake and pickles. Was one of the best sandiwiches i ever had and everything was warm and fresh. The pickles were a little mild but the pancakes were nice and crunchy. A must try in Cincinnati!

The chicken noodle soup was excellent! The sandwhich with the pretzel bun was average. The lady brought over my napkin and silverware wrap and her hands were covered in sauce, hence so was my napkin. Made me wonder about the hygiene here. Overall, so so, with excellent soup.

Fabulous pastrami Ruben! Very tender pastrami, great rye bread. Excellent service from Dawn. The potato pancake was delicious as well. 👍

This place was okay. I ordered their famous reubon sandwich and it honestly was nothing special. I came in here at around lunchtime and there were a lot of people getting takeout. With that said, it's not that favorable to sit and eat as there are quite a few people standing around waiting for their order. When I ate my sandwich, the bread was a little too soft. As for the meat, it seemed kind of average. Not bad, but just not a lot of flavor. The potato patty was a bit dissipointing as well. It was not really flavorful at all. Overall, I really didn't enjoy the food. It was okay, but nothing really much more than that.

Bar
Le Bar A Boeuf is a charming French spot located in East Walnut Hills, offering a blend of casual dining with a sophisticated touch. Initially known as a gourmet burger joint, it has evolved into an upscale restaurant with impeccable service and a picturesque river-view patio. The menu features customizable burgers and innovative twists on traditional French cuisine, such as the decadent pumpkin ravioli and signature beef dishes like the beef cheek bourguignon and Boeuf burger.
We had such a wonderful time dining on the patio this evening. The foie gras tart with blue cheese and pear tasted just like the one you would sometimes see as a special at Pigalls or Table, and the portion was so generous, my husband and I had no problem sharing it. For dinner he opted for the filet with bordelaise, mustard greens, fava beans and mushrooms as well as creamy herbed potato. When I heard that one of the specials was JR Reds Lobster Salad, I started reciting the ingredients to the server and she laughed. It was one of my favorite dishes at Table - raddichio, red pepper, red onion, radishes and greens, topped with perfectly cooked lobster and a sprinkle of cracker Jacks. We look forward to going back with friends soon. Dining on the patio is reserved for walk-in only, the dinning room was busy, so I would recommend reservations if you don't want to sit outside - although the view is a treat.
Amanda V — Google review
Best to get a reservation ahead of time. For starters service is great and even when busy they always take care of you with little to no wait. Within minutes we were seated and they already had our drink orders and were talking to us about the specials. We had the caviar eggs and fois gras which was espcially good and cooked to perfection with amazing savory notes. For entrees I got the duck breast and coq au vin which were both a little one note and a little tough but overall were both tasty. I reccomend getting the duck at a medium. For desert we had the ube sorbet and creme brule which were light, creamy and a great finish the meal. Overall a great way to spend a anniversary or special occasion.
Jack N — Google review
Showed up on a friday evening, while the Parking is bit strange, we easily found the place and we were welcomed into a nice atmosphere and were seated immediately with 4 in our party. We ordered the Steak tartar, the Duck Breast over risotto, and 2 vegetarian mac and cheeses. Prices are a bit bizarre and place is small but the food was AMAZING! We proceed to order dessert to receive nothing for almost 15-20 minutes. The creme brulee was spectacular though the wait was a little disappointing Overall a good experience thru and thru

If you love duck, look no further. Pair with a Pinot noir and you are golden. Fresh warm bread and attentive service. Parking is available outside or in the garage.
Colonel R — Google review
This is a fine dining experience without feeling stuffy. The service was impeccable. The escargot and French onion soup are must orders. Make sure to dip their wonderful bread in both. Portion size is appropriate and not obnoxiously tiny. Only two minor gripes: the duck skin was not crispy. I don't know if that's intentional but crispy duck skin is a level of joy I'm not sure everyone experiences. Second - either the crust was slightly overcooked or too thick on our lemon tart. Having said that it was still delicious just a bit harder to cut and the meringue with raspberry sauce makes for an elevated dish that we still loved. Neither of those issues would prevent us from dining here again and we've already talked about another visit.
Charles B — Google review
Cozy charming and eclectic hilltop spot with river views and scrumptious food did not disappoint! Escargot was beautifully presented and the herby breadcrumbs were a welcome addition to the garlic butter. The fois gras on special was divine. Perfectly grilled, melt-in-your-mouth goodness, but maybe a bit overdressed although the accompaniments, especially the mushrooms, were delicious. Standard fare sea scallops were perfectly cooked as was the accompanying spring pea risotto. The special tenderloin was served at the absolute best temperature and was very tender. Nice selection of wines and great service from Alex made the evening so enjoyable. Ask for a window seat or, if the weather permits, a seat on the balcony to really enjoy the view.

The reviews of Nine Giant Kitchen & Brewing don't lie. They served me the Brilliant Corners (Belgian Quadruple aged in OKI 36% High Rye Bourbon Barrels for 14 months. Contains Belgian spices, distinctive malt, accentuated with oak, bourbon & vanilla). The taste/finish was phenomenal and surprisingly had a low IBU. Along with the 12.9% quadruple beer, I ate their signature NG steak grind burger ($12+3 bacon) containing: secret sauce, house pickles/lettuce/tomato, caramelized onion, cheddar, caramelized mustard, on toasted challah bun). Wow, this smothered burger is ONE OF THE BEST burgers in Ohio. Also, staff/bartender was very amicable and informative. Had I known earlier about the Fermentorium Fest that weekend, I would've attended. Keep up the great chef burgers and quadruples, Nine Giant!

A convenient brewery on Montgomery Road in the heart of Pleasant Ridge providing a very laid back atmosphere with friendly staff. Order at the bar from a small but very good pub fare selection along with your choice of drink, of course. The NG burger had a light and almost fluffy texture and the fries seasoned just right. Try the side of fried pickles with dipping sauce for something different. NG provides 2 rooms for dining for all family members. The tables/chairs/seating configuration inside are a bit sparten and it can get noisy but if these aren't an issue then you will leave a satisfied customer.

We went there for the first time and it was such a welcoming experience. The staff were extremely friendly and made the environment very chill. The atmosphere was busy and bustling even for a Sunday afternoon which is great. I ordered off their brunch menu and got their breakfast burrito. It was delicious and very filling. Especially the habanero sauce on the side. Genuinely a great brunch item. Overall a great location to visit if you want somewhere to wind down and enjoy the food and drinks. They also have a decent selection of craft beers to try. Highly recommend you visit!

When I think of gastro pubs, I think of the standard bar food menu with a little twist, and perhaps a little less grease. Nine Giant pleasantly surprises with not just some great beers made in house, but also with a food menu that would contend with a trendy, higher end small scratch restaurant. I saw on a website that they were rated as being in the Top 10 wings in Cincinnati - but I would say they are the best wings I've had north of the Mason Dixon line, and perhaps in the entire country. The pretzel was soft, fresh, and definitely made from scratch. The Peruvian Sammy, while perhaps not entirely "authentic" Peruvian, was an incredible venture into mixing some typically used ingredients in not-so-typical combinations from Peruvian cuisine. This is a great find, and by far my favorite gastro pub to grab a bite and a brew.

The Pesto Chicken Mac n Cheese was delicious. However, I didn't like the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Overall, I liked the vibe and service at this place. They also have a patio seating area in the back.

Surprisingly busy for a weekday night. But we were still able to grab a table after a short wait. The food was very good. The portion looked a touch small for the price, but was still delicious and satisfying. The beer was excellent!

Can I say enough nice things about nine giant? Nope. Came here for the first time today, got there around 4:30 and stayed until 7:30 with friends. First, it is extremely clean. Second, the food is extremely good. Third, it's a brewery so I was ready not to like the "beer", however I had something delightful with skeleton 🦴 in the name, it was deliciously fruity. Fourth, all the food was amazing. They have a small and seasonal menu, we had the Mexican street corn, nachos, and pretzel for the table. Fabulous. I had the chicken tikka masala which was perfect, better than I've had at actual Indian restaurants. Perfectly spicy without going overboard. Portions were generous. Their staff is efficient and clean, they cleaned up anything needed super fast and were friendly. We loved it. Exceeded any expectations I had for a place we just stopped into.

Blue Jay Restaurant is a beloved American comfort food spot that has been serving homestyle eats since 1967. This family-owned diner, opened by Greek immigrants, has retained its nostalgic charm and continues to attract both regulars and newcomers with its classic dishes. The menu features Cincinnati-style chili, all-day breakfast options, double decker sandwiches, and homemade pies.
The staff is the sweetest and the customers are nice and too themselves. Food is always fresh , hot and delicious! This remind me of breakfast at grandmas on the weekends. No gimmicks and high prices for quirky names and a sauce. All you need is salt , pepper and jelly/jam biscuits so fluffy don’t need no butter . I tore this food down and am full for $10 . Parking may be limited but when you see how full they are and homey the environment is you understand. They’ll be seeing more of me come next semester for sure !

A Breakfast and Beyond Experience to Remember! From the moment I walked into Blue Jay Restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. My breakfast was an absolute delight, starting with an omelet that was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and plentiful, making every bite a joy. Not to be outdone, the French toast was absolutely spectacular—a true standout that was fluffy, rich, and delicious. As if the breakfast wasn't enough, I decided to grab a bowl of their bean soup to go. When I tried it later, I was completely blown away. The soup was a "mouthful of taste," packed with savory flavor that was both comforting and unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a meal that is both exceptionally prepared and made with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients.

I'm always happy to try a new place and especially privately owned. Overall the food was good and the portion size more than ample. The service was excellent the environment a throwback to my childhood which was comforting. My meal was straightforward breakfast fare. The eggs were cooked over medium perfectly, potatoes also good. However, I found the cuts on the onions added to give a stringing effect which simply may be a personal preference. The coating on the sausage links had an odd taste which made them difficult to eat. Sadly the cost of everything has made even the dinner more expensive than I would have expected. My dining guest had the Jacob special which she seemed to enjoy. I'd go back next time and maybe have lunch.

Took my two younger sisters here for brunch, and we all loved it! The wait staff were super attentive and the absolute friendliest, even though they were quite busy. I loved the history decorating the place as well. The food was amazing. I got the Blue Jay breakfast, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was that perfect marriage of crispy and chewy, and the home fries were delicuous as well. The omelet was also very flavorful. All portions were great for the price, and the coffee was good, too! Will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!

Nestled in the vibrant city of Newport, KY, Wooden Cask Brewing Company is a delightful destination for beer enthusiasts. This family-owned brewery boasts an impressive selection of aged brews alongside a variety of European-style beers, including English Brown Porters and Scottish Stouts. The owner’s journey began with home-brewing in 1998, leading to the mastery of traditional ales that are now available year-round.
Had the pleasure of doing a New Riff tasting at this bar and it was excellent. Had the master distiller come out from New Riff and explain the history & gave us an insight on some of their products. Great location and one of the largest selections of alcohol that I have ever seen when it comes to bourbon and whiskey. Would definitely come again.

A great spot with delicious beer and food. Stop by for a nice atmosphere where the friendly staff will help you pick the right choices for you. Plenty of seating inside and outside, so no worries there. Parking could be an issue on busier days. Try the Cubano sandwich for a food adventure.

Love Wooden Cask! The wings are my go to - always full of flavor. The beer is also always on point. My favorite is the Winter Ale (if you’re lucky enough to catch it in season) honorable mention to Eden behind the bar, she is the best! Super attentive, friendly, and just makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots in NKY.

Love this place. Only get to visit a few times a year. Probably good that I don't live nearby. I would be there all time. The bartenders I have met over the last few years are all nice people, easy to talk with. Several different good beers, IPAs, lagers and porters to name a few styles. Looking forward to my next visit.🍺😁

What a great place we had the fortune to walk into. The atmosphere is very comforting and the food is outstanding. The beer is absolutely wonderful. Had the #14 Czech Yourself Pilsner. Poor customer service. Totally fine waiting but not ignored you should do better cause I am shouting out to everyone about the shitty service on an event night river roots

Governors House Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen is a modern diner located in historic downtown Milford, offering elevated diner classics. The place is known for its delicious chicken sandwich and short rib grilled cheese with kimchi tomato soup. They have a new menu featuring options like the Smoked Salmon Salad sandwich and other seafood dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant is superb, set in an 1800s historic house that exudes a mix of bygone era charm and modernity.
A very nice restaurant with a great wine selection. I had spaghetti and meatballs, several wines, a cocktail, and the tiramisu. Food was good but nothing jumped out at me. Some very nice wines by the glass, and a lot by the bottle. Service was stellar, location (with the outdoor seating as well) is fabulous, and the ambiance is so enjoyable. I'll come here again next time I'm in town.

We had a great experience at Governors House. They have a great selection on their menu, and their specials were also fabulous. We had the Fig Flatbread, the Filet & Carbonara - all were delectable! Honorable mention for the pesto butter that comes with the table bread, could've eaten that on everything! A great selection of wines and cocktails, and the outdoor vibe was great. Service was top notch, the general manager touching all the tables and checking the food before it went out. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will have plenty more in the future.

It was my first experience here. Our server Chris was amazing! We had the Chicken Parm (I have never had chick parm that good) as well as the Short Rib (so tender and tasty). We also had an appetizer of Waygu Beef Ravioli in a Truffle oil sauce (mouth watering good). The atmosphere was great and the rest of the staff were also super hospitable. The owner came and talked to us with a wealth of knowledge and a heart to serve. Well done!

Five stars all around for our Dinner. The ravioli duo starter was fantastic. Short ribs were perfectly cooked and the Chianti sauce took them to the next level. Extensive wine list. We loved sitting outside under the oak trees enjoying the city sounds. Our server, Chris, was a 10/10 and make wonderful suggestions. We will be coming back!

Here’s a glowing review you could leave for Governor's House Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen in Covington, KY, based on your Chicken Parmesan experience:⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review I had the pleasure of dining at Governor's House Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen and ordered the Chicken Parmesan — absolutely outstanding! The chicken was perfectly breaded and tender, topped with rich marinara, melted mozzarella, and parmesan, served alongside creamy linguini Alfredo. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant yet cozy, with a beautifully restored historic setting that adds charm to the dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Background music was just the right volume and a great wine selection rounded out the evening perfectly. If you're in Covington and craving Italian cuisine, Governor's House is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Chef Jose Salazar's Goose & Elder, located near Findlay Market, is a delightful destination for those seeking market-fresh comfort food paired with inventive cocktails, wine, and craft beer. This casual eatery showcases seasonally inspired American classics that are sure to please any palate. A highlight of the menu is the Fish Fry Dinner served every Friday during Lent—a must-try for seafood lovers!
Tasty food, friendly staff, and a nice laid back atmosphere. What more can one ask for? The Royal Goose burger and mozzarella sticks were both very good. The dark chocolate brownie was excellent—thick and decadent, with some chunks of chocolate in the mix, covered with a wonderfully flavorful salted caramel sauce that never turned watery or hard. Maybe go for the dessert and stay for the food and drink? 😉 I look forward to coming back here again!

Awesome brunch spot in Findlay Market. Appetizers included fries, ricotta cheese on bread (forgot what it’s called on the menu), and mimosa. Entrees were hash and burger. All the food was fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back again.

Lovely brunch spot. Excellent service. Plan to enjoy some time between ordering and eating, but the atmosphere is bright and relaxing. Both the french toast and grits (added the pork verde) were amazing. Prices are very reasonable. You currently must have reservations. I would definitely return and highly recommend!

Nice restaurant in a historical neighborhood of Cincinnati ! Variety of good and delicious foods ! Very colorful looking from outside and Inside is also very nicely and attractively laid out ! You may be lucky to be greeted by the owner / manager. For the same reason, the service is well taken care of ! By being just opposite to the Findlay market, the surrounding is always vibrant!

Goose and Elder is a cozy spot right across from Findlay market. The atmosphere is inviting and I like how the bar is separated from the dining room by a long hallway which cuts down the noise. From the dining room you can see the kitchen but you can also see the service station which is a bit distracting. The service staff was very attentive and management came out to confirm we enjoyed her meal.

Our party of two was seated quickly around noon. The service was great and the food overall was pretty good, although a bit expensive. The French fries were missing something but the sandwiches were delicious. I would recommend skipping the fries. The location is excellent right by Findley Market.

Me and my wife stopped here for breakfast during the week based off recommendations. We were not disappointed! Located right across from Findley Market, there are decent parking options across the street, and Findley Market is a great backdrop to this awesome restaurant. The restaurant itself is very clean, although the bathrooms are down two flights of stairs so you will have to work a little bit to get there, haha. Staff was friendly (Thanks, Max!) , attentive and helped us with any questions. The food was fantastic - An order of pancakes and sausage for my wife; the breakfast sandwich and a side of potatoes for myself. Me and my wife tried 5 different breakfast spots and 5 different coffee shops this week, Goose and Elder had the best sausage according to her. The breakfast sandwich has it essentially tied with The Governor. I am not a fan of mayonnaise or chipotle sauce, but the "goose" sauce on the breakfast sandwich was actually very good! (way to go!) The fruit spread on the pancakes was an excellent addition that elevated the taste. We will likely be back, especially on those visits to Findley Market and we can people watch from Goose and Elder :)

The waiter was very nice even though the place was busy. We had the Goetta Hash and the Turkey Monte Cristo and both were very delicious, highly recommended! Truly delicious! 🤤 The food took a while but we had a Virgin Elderberry Margarita while we waited and it was excellent 👌🏾 we thought about ordering the fries but after a conversation with a gentleman having them next to us, we decided they were not worth $7 😬 Also, on a silly note, the bathrooms are kinda cool lol

An event my friend and I were supposed to go to got canceled, so we decided to grab dinner nearby. We saw Goose & Elder and went for it. It wasn't that busy when we were there, but it was a great atmosphere inside. We got drinks and burgers and the burgers are very delicious. We went with only one patty, but if you're really hungry, I'd consider doing two. I'd go back just for that, but we found out they also do brunch. If you consider going for brunch, the server highly recommended to us that we get there early because it gets super crowded on weekends due to the market.

Goose + Elder is for Night 6 of restaurant week Completed the trifecta with Jose Salazar's creations during restaurant week. Very pleasant staff, beautiful ambience right next to Findlay market Had company today with a buddy visiting from Boston. So we tried everything on the restaurant week menu and added a brussel sprouts starter to the order. This was the most wholesome & belly full meal of the week. Generous portion sizes and massive flavors. Tito's mule- just the refreshing cocktail needed on a sunny evening. Paired really well with the starters. Roasted Brussel sprouts & cauliflower So darn good. Two of my favorite vegetables paired with two of my favorite Asian/Indian flavors inspiration resulting in an experience I cannot wait to have every time I am here. The best roasted Brussels dish I have ever had. Strawberry and Beet salad Super fresh, super tasty. A stunning presentation of a spring salad. Felt very high end but not breaking the bank. On a sunny & cool Cincinnati spring evening - this was a highly pleasing plate of freshness. The goat cheese with the pistachio/bee pollen crisps were a bite made in heaven Chile Verde nachos My god- Fritos as nachos...what a genius! Bursting with flavors, melting cheeses, sprinkled spices and citrus salsas bring the nachos with the protein together like no other. Veggie burger Halloumi cheese , colorful zatar sauce on the Falafel patty..that was a helluva veggie burger. Maybe the best veggie burger I have had that was not a classic Spicy Indian veggie burger (like aloo tikki) Desserts Creme brulee - yum. Delicate and Decadent Dark chocolate brownie -yum yum. Rich and Decadent

Emery, an exceptional dining establishment situated in the heart of Mariemont, offers a truly unique and memorable date night experience. Start your evening by indulging in the much-loved whipped feta appetizer that has won over many patrons. The diverse menu caters to all tastes, with a particular emphasis on their delectable seafood dishes. Brace yourself for a culinary adventure as you savor the mouthwatering combination of blackened ruby red trout and smoked trout ravioli.
The wife and I enjoyed our first visit to Emery. The interior decor is swanky, but not too formal (love the chairs!). The atmosphere is lively but not too loud for conversation. The staff was quite warm and welcoming, and also thanked us for coming upon exit. The draft beer selection was small but high quality. Our dinners were excellent. Don't miss those donut holes for dessert!

Had a large party - the service & ambiance were fantastic! A little disappointed with the lack of seasoning & inspiration in the dishes...Walleye was good, but the ravioli & shrimp appetizers were just ok. The spare rib dinner was also just ok.

First time here. Cozy neighborhood joint with lots of locals. Wish I could rate it higher but the food simply wasn't that good. Clam chowder very bland....shrimp and lobster fettuccine Alfredo also VERY bland with overly thick pasta (not fettuccine). My wife's chicken roulade was dry and the ingredients that were supposed to be on the inside were on the outside. "Unique" side vegetable offerings...better looking than tasting. They also could use some nightly specials on the menu.

The server knew what he was doing for sure. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the wine was excellent. Highly recommend and I will return to try the fish! Edit: went back for the walleye fish and it didn't disappoint. We also ordered the best donut holes I have ever had. The sauces were really really good. Service was great and still dedicating their time to ensure they cover all allergy needs.

First time trying this restaurant and new to the area. We ordered to go and I picked it up myself since we were right around the corner. I honestly have to say it was delicious. Everything was fresh and I should have ordered more of the spring rolls (not pictured), they were so good! Service was exceptional during pickup, everyone was super friendly. I showed up at 12:30pm on a Saturday and was told the chef was not there yet (they open at noon). I eventually came back and gave them a try. They have an extensive menu of sushi and essentials Thai dishes; some of the rolls and dishes have a fusion element to them. The chicken dim sum was pretty good, crispier than your average -- I'd eat it again. The Thai fish cakes had a sausage patty consistency -- flavors were decent, but I didn't love texture. The Fish House Rainbow roll was decent -- not super fresh flavors. I was surprised at how quiet this place was on a weekend. I imagine it's much more crowded at night, especially since they have a full bar. I wouldn't deter anybody from trying Rosewood, but 3.5/5 star experience for me.

5 stars all the way from cocktails, appetizers and entrees. The pear martini is slightly spiced, refreshing and not overly sweet. The process and the presentation of the smoked old fashion is intriguing. The avocado parfait was fresh and creamy topped with fresh dive scallops. The seafood stew has a generous amount of salmon, white fish, mussels, scallops and shrimps. The Chilean sea bass is perfectly cooked under a bed of creamy mushroom risotto. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu and the sushi bar. Overall very much surprised and impressed by the diversity of the menu, presentation and the quality of the food and drinks at this restaurant!!

5 stars for service but other than that - everything was disappointing. They’re rebranding so all of the pictures online don’t reflect what they have. Few girlfriends and I met here after reading reviews. Was very disappointing to see menu/pictures from reviews aren’t there. I don’t typically order unless I can see pictures and with the new menu, there’s hardly any updated review. No sushi was a huge let down. Would recommend business to post pictures of items on current menu. Felt like no direction to know what to get. Ordered fried rice - I can get that anywhere.

Tried a few things on the menu. Some were good but most were mediocre to be honest. Spring rolls were bomb. Basic sushi rolls were just ok. didn’t try any of the higher end rolls. Pad Thai was very bland. My lady liked her crispy duck. Service they were smashed and waited a long time for our reservation. not a fan of tables super close together where you can hear everyone’s conversations.

Oh My Gosh!!! What a delicious dinner. The atmosphere was nice. Our server, John was so pleasant, that I ordered desert at his urging, even though I was full! The meal started with an ahi tuni appetizer, which was perfectly seared. The presentation was great. Next came the Chilean sea bass, on top of creamy mushroom risotto. The sea bass practically melted in my mouth! And the risotto had plenty of large, tender mushrooms. Finally, came the Crème brûlée with its perfectly flamed crust. My spicy pineapple margherita was delicious! I can't wait to take others here. Even the menu options were perfect. After all, this is a seafood restaurant and the only meals on the menu were seafood options. I WILL dine here again!

Dunlap Cafe, located in OTR, is the oldest establishment in the area and offers a classic Fried Fish Sandwich or Fish & Chips every day during Lent. The staff is known for their kindness and patience, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite its unassuming exterior, the inside is cozy with a hometown vibe and interesting memorabilia on the walls. The food is highly praised for its delicious flavors that seem to reflect love and care in each bite.
I came specifically for the French Toast Sammie on their brunch menu. I up-sized it to the double decker version because it's a great value. The food was really good and filling, but took a little while since there were a lot of orders before mine and only one cook. The server and bartender were very friendly tho and kept my coffee and water topped off. It's a morning-through-lunch bar and grill, so there's a mix of people dining and/or drinking, but all nice folks. I've been here before for burgers and beers on their patio and those were good times as well. Btw it's 3 blocks from Findlay Market.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, this place serves amazing food with a smile! We went during brunch time. Had the kids with us. Ordered several breakfast items and ate family style. Each thing we tried was better than the last. It’s hard to impress with breakfast foods…but they did! Service was super friendly and we left very happy!

The best burger! I can’t say enough good things about Dunlap Cafe. The service was outstanding. Our server was super friendly, kind and just made the visit better. The burger hands down one of the best I’ve ever had - delicious and condiment proportions were perfect. We can’t wait to go back!!

Where to start... I'll be honest, from the outside, Dunlap Cafe does not look like the most appealing place to have a 5 star breakfast. And then you walk in. They've clearly put a lot of work into making the inside very easy on the eyes, clean, and inviting. A very down to earth, hometown vibe. Complete with memorabilia on the wall and a mascot to take photos with! Let's get down to the food - Incredible! Me and my wife both had the French toast Sammie, which beat out The Governor and Goose and Elder for best breakfast sandwich that week. Let that sink in. Sherry (sp?) and Julie have been doing a fantastic job of keeping this place running! Sherry chatted with us when we were ordering our food, walked us through the menu and what goes into cooking up different dishes. She recommended us get Julie's potatoes with their French Toast Sammie, which are prepared each morning fresh. We were not disappointed! The French Toast adds such a great flavor to the egg, bacon and sausage; soaking up the flavor but at the same time not becoming soggy. It holds the flavor in, reinvigorating your taste buds with each and every bite! Seriously, this place is truly a hidden gem in Cincinnati/OTR. Please make this your first stop for breakfast/lunch!

Ivory House, located at 2998 Harrison Ave., Westwood, offers a fresh take on nostalgic steak and seafood dishes. The menu features a variety of options such as filet mignon, grilled tuna, skirt steak in red chimichurri, and even Japanese A5 wagyu strip. The restaurant boasts a large selection of wines and clever cocktails to accompany the meals. Guests can enjoy the covered patio which is perfect for both steak enthusiasts and wine lovers.
We had a birthday party and the service and cuisine were of the highest order. Every detail of our evening was superb thanks to the thoughtful staff. Our compliments to the chef for creating each incredible dish they served us including Crab cakes, steak, sea bass, shrimp and tuna.

Went here because it has a reputation of great steaks. The atmosphere was superb. Live piano music. The service was by far the best thing here. The dinner rolls were quite addictive. We ordered the sea bass entre and the prime rib special. The sea bass was huge and tasty. The prime rib was also generous in size. Cooked as requested, but tasted more like a steak than prime rib. The desserts were ok...not the reason for coming All in all, glad we did it once. It was a bit of. Drive to get here so probably won't do it again given the distance and cost.

Great food! We ordered the tomato bruschetta as a starter and it was excellent! I personally ordered the pork chop special and I must say I believe it was the best pork chop I have ever had! It was tender, moist, and flavorful! All of our meals were outstanding!

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House, and the entire experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Elise, made the evening truly exceptional—she was informative, professional, and genuinely kind. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Cincinnati.

This place is unbelievable, we celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Ivory House. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. We went for the Seafood and the dishes were delicious even though they specialty is Steaks. The young man (Rain) playing the piano was so talented which made our evening even more special.

Had the ultimate surf and turf (or something like that) 35 oz tomahawk, 2 lobster tails, 4 shrimp and 4 scallops. Also comes with two sides. It's ALOT of food and everything was wonderful. Service was excellent - very attentive. Overall, very highly recommended. For the money, it was actually a good deal.

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House last week, eager to try some unique menu items. The appetizers were a mix—beet-soaked deviled eggs missed the mark with unexpected saltiness, but the French-style mussels and lamb lollipops were excellent. We rarely find mussels done this well in Cincinnati. For entrees, I ordered the NY steak with carrots and truffle mushroom risotto, a perfect 11/10. My husband’s pork chop was nearly as good, though the creamed corn was underwhelming; however, the scalloped potatoes were amazing. One drawback was being seated beside a family with young kids, which dampened the atmosphere a bit on our kid-free evening. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back!

The japanese restaurant Yummy Sushi is an excellent place to enjoy delicious sushi and other Japanese cuisine. The staff are friendly and always clean, making it a great choice for a casual dining experience. The food is always fresh and artfully prepared, with every dish looking exactly as pictured in the menu. Highly recommend! Will be visiting again soon!
My first time here was a treat! Not a sushi girl so otdered Steak Hibachi lunch. Inexpensive and food delicious. I ate everything and should have taken some home. But so good. Kokomo served us and she was attentive and lovely. Will be back with friends and family. Thank you!

I ordered the chicken teriyaki dish. The picture on the menu looks delicious with lots of vidggies on it. I was most looking forward to the Vegetables. What I receive was chicken placed over about half an onion, with two pieces of broccoli, no zucchini, and 2 carrot skin. The chicken and rice was very good but the vegetables we all barley cooked and almost raw. I couldn't eat the onion and I love onions when they are cooked. I asked the waitress why I didn't get as much veggies as in the photo on the menu and she Said, "... that's just a picture. More broccoli and zucchini is extra." I asked why my food doesn't match the menu and she just said she'd get me more veggies. The veggies that did finally come were also barley cooked. I think they just microwaved them. My family members who ordered the hibachi had veggies that were fully cooked and tender. I enjoyed the Chicken and rice I got but was extremely let down by the veggies. We spoke to the manager, Joe, and he made things right and took off my order.

Excellent sushi! Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna handroll, Rainbow Roll, Tuna Tataki all fresh and delicious. Got carryout this time to watch the Ravens and the Bengals win the last games of the regular season. Seaweed salad, miso soup and ginger salad dressing also great. So good to have this restaurant here near Mt Airy. A $10 off of $50 coupon in Clipp magazine or Clipp.com as a bonus!

Yummy Sushi is a great name because the sushi was indeed 😋 - YUMMY! Got some fried rice and loads of sushi, the sushi had a beautiful presentation and tasted delicious. Oh yeah tried their "fried" ice cream, it was OK.

We tried this place for the first time as we were driving through. Very impressive. The green salad with ginger dressing is very tasty. Yes it's a weird bowl, but interesting. Not a big fan of the clear soup, but we were very impressed with the sushi rolls. Next time we're in the area, I'll have to swing through for lunch.

Some of the best sushi I have had in my life and I've had some great sushi from some amazing places! The service was quick, everything was presented beautifully and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere! I highly recommend checking it out. My daughter had ramen and said it was delicious as well! Oh also the prices are reasonable and well worth the portions.

Nestled in Northern Kentucky, the Greyhound Tavern is a charming colonial-style restaurant that has been delighting locals with its comforting American cuisine since the 1920s. With its rustic decor featuring wood paneling and cozy fireplaces, this family-friendly eatery creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings. The menu boasts a variety of hearty dishes, but it’s particularly famous for its secret-recipe fried chicken, which takes center stage during family-style dinners on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Had Valentine Day dinner here and it was wonderful. Made reservation and arrived early and was seated close to our reservation time which was 830pm. Once we was seated our server Edward came our and took our drink order. We browse the menu which was the Valentine Day menu and we both order steak. I ordered the 14 oz New York strip and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet with a salad and I order the soup which was a Cajun shrimp corn chowder. The steak had great flavor and the herb butter was wonderful on top of it. The scallops potatoes was cheesy and good. We also ordered two cakes a chocolate and vanilla with strawberry and a strawberry syrup. Overall it was a good experience and the service was wonderful.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Food was good, though a bit lacking in variety. Bacon was severely overcooked, but the chicken was the star! Service was great. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go during peak hours.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during Burger Week. The onion rings were large and incredibly crispy, making it easy to share half an order with someone else. The burgers were perfectly cooked and tender, with a magical sauce that elevated the taste. The fries were also very good. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and would recommend!

Honestly a 10/10 chicken place. Has an elegant rich atmosphere but respectable prices. Recently added to the B line, their bourbon selection is far above average. Would absolutely do this again.

The service was flawless. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
Walter B — Google review
Fried chicken was 1/2 its previous size and dripping in grease. Hot Brown's presentation was a sloppy goey mess. It had obviously been microwaved as everything was flat and run together. It was unappealing, nearly stomach turning mess. The bread underneath was soggy, not toasted.
Amy M — Google review
We ate here for the first time on 7/16/25 due to the great reviews on this site. Hy husband got the chicken and said it was really good. I got the open face roast beef and it was good. We loved the cheese sticks too. However, the sides left a lot to be desired. We both thought the coleslaw was sour, too much vinegar and not enough sugar. The green beans had a good flavor, if they would leave out the sugar. I cook southern and never have I ever had green beans with sugar in them. I couldn’t eat them either. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned and edible but mediocre. We got the peanut butter pie and he said it was good. Great waitress and atmosphere. Should we go back, they need to add more sides to the menu.

The first night we came, it was a wonderful evening being seated in the cozy tea room area, not crowded or cramped feeling. Soft big band jazz playing, clean, pleasant atmosphere with upscale decor with interesting rustic aspects. I had the grilled fish special which was Haddock I believe, and it was so delicious. Wonderful glass of house Cabernet. Amazing waiter, an older gentleman who was so attentive and friendly. Another night we were seated in a larger area filled with customers. It felt a bit too crowded for me, tables too close together but still a nice evening. A booth would have felt a bit more private probably. My salmon harvest salad was yummy. Everyone was happy with their selections but one person felt a little disappointed his was served with rye bread, that was not even toasted, and just looked like generic bread from the grocery.

The order system is amazing as instead of talking you simply fill out form which guarantees everything you ask for is correct. was quoted 20 mins but food was finished in 10. Cooked properly, fresh and well seasoned. This pregnant woman is in love. 10 out of 10. Was scared of portion size so ordered 3 meats but my daughter ordered one and it's truly enough for two. My new go to.

Hibachi is ALWAYS the bomb!!! Fast, hot, fresh, and delicious! There's metered parking on the street and in a small lot across the street. It's campus, so sometimes parking is slim. But it's so worth it!
M. L — Google review
Ahhh, where do I even begin… Ninja Grill is a very unique and delicious concept that provides on demand hibachi in a fast and tasty manner. The food was cooked quickly and in a most tender fashion. Now that Ive gotten the highlights out of the way, I will say the food does tend to get dry and start to all taste the same. I also was disappointed in the limit to the amount of vegetables one could order for their bowl. They also had a weird covering of their grill and things seemed to be thrown together in a fun but janky fashion. The pricing was also more expensive than I had anticipated and I thought that for the amount I paid they could’ve used bigger piece of meat and included more vegetables. All in all this place is worth a try, but I couldn’t recommend it as a full proof great restaurant. 7.6/10.
Eli C — Google review
I live and die by this place. They have given me good, cheap food at my lowest times and never fails to make me feel better as a college student. They give you enough food for leftovers too, so it's basically 2 meals for the price of one. Also the food is bomb af. My usual order is fried rice, shrimp, broccoli, green onion, zucchini, and hibachi sauce with extra yum yum sauce (please try it it's so good). If there is only one fan of ninja grill in this world, it's me. If there are none, then I have died. Love this place

I was looking for a place for lunch and didn’t really have anything in mind so I was just searching around. I saw hibachi and just went with it. I’m so glad I did! I got the chicken breast with broccoli, carrots, onion, zucchini, and green beans. It was delicious!!! The portion was huge for the price and everything tasted amazing. Next time I will try a different sauce as I couldn’t really taste the teriyaki, but the sweet soy dipping sauce was amazing. Will definitely be back!

My daughter and I bought three fish dinners. My daughter had the two three-piece dinner for $15 and I had the four piece dinner and I added shrimp. All three dinners the fish were burnt. You can smell the burnt fish before you even open up the container. The sides were fine but the fish was horrible. It was July 10 and it was around 8:20 when we got there to pick up our mobile orders, we stayed in the drive-through for 30 minutes and it was only three cars in front of me. Our experience was horrible.

The Pony is a popular neighborhood bar in Over-The-Rhine that offers hearty comfort food alongside cocktails, beer and wine. They're known for their extensive menu of craft beers, and they offer Fried Fish Dinners every Friday through Lent. The space is large and comfortable, perfect for watching any sports games. Touch tunes are always a great choice at bars like The Pony!
Loved this place! The habanero garlic wings were SO GOOD. They reminded me of a spicy teriyaki a bit if you're into that (I am). The ranch was really tasty too! I'm OBSESSED with the fries. I kept dipping the fries in the wing sauce & ranch (trust me do it!) the beef on weck was good, but will definitely get more wings next time. I feel like the beef on weck would be good with a creamy horseradish sauce vs the plain horseradish (personal opinion, it was still good). Drinks were great. LOVED the atmosphere & location!
Kelsey M — Google review
Some of the best chicken and fries in the city, hands down. Their chicken is freshly fried, their fries are fresh cut, and the sauces are made in house. If I were to give two suggestions to the place, it would be to identify a better ventilation solution as you are guaranteed to leave smelling like grease. Secondly, ordering food at the bar can be cumbersome, it would be a lot easier to order from a QR code at the table for food.
Michael S — Google review
A nice local restaurant/bar with a great selection of beers—feels like the perfect after-work pub. I had a cheesesteak sandwich, and it was fabulous, along with some cheese fingers that were also great. The spicy ketchup was a nice touch. On the downside, the service was cold and unwelcoming. Also, food took a long time to get our table. I only tipped because they helped me charge my phone; otherwise, I wouldn’t. Another drawback is the lack of free parking. Still, it’s a good spot to hang out with friends.
Heber M — Google review
The chicken strips weren’t pretty good! Great fries! The Philly cheesesteak was ok but needed some more spice or something.
Tabitha T — Google review
We are from out of town. We came here for a baseball game years ago and LOVED everything. Came back to see the Bengals and Detroit play and can only say that the food and staff have gone down hill. Wings? Much smaller. Please, please, get the bigger ones back and just hike the price. The hottest sauce they have in the menu tasted like tomato soup expired with Tabasco added. I think it fermented too much? It was bubbling if you shook it. Bar staff? Taking shots and beers with people I’m sure they know and rude as hell. Don’t mind that in a dive bar setting like this but they could not be bothered with any one else in the building. I was excited to come back here and was pissed off. Very disappointed and will be hoping Cincinnati gives us a new wing place to check out when we come back.

The chicken tenders just melted in my mouth & the fries are to die for! My husband got the beef on a wek & he absolutely loved every bite. The service was fast, the food was hot & excellent! Can’t wait to go back.

We heard the food was good, so we decided to check out the Pony. First time going, and wow it was a good time. Relaxed vibe, great (but small) menu, and awesome food, although, the beer selection was lacking. It was nice there were booths as well, on top of the bar itself - I liked that we were able to sit down and eat and chat at a table vs a bar. Benches were kinda dirty though lol, but nothing terrible I got the honey mustard wings they have - and wow, absolute bangers, seasoned perfectly & piping hot. The burger with a slice of bacon was stupid delicious. A little overcooked on the meat but it wasn't even noticeable enough to care about. Cause that bacon kicks you in the mouth on your first bite. Simply put their burger is severely underrated. the fries were unbelievable - flat out some of the best (and thickest) I've had in a while. Flaky, crispy, crunchy & covered with sea salt, their fries are a must. All in all, cool spot to grab a bite and have a beer and if you're bar hopping, one worth stopping in!

Omg. Hands down, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. The pancakes taste like those good old fashioned homemade pancakes. The hot honey is DELICIOUS. The potatoes are seasoned just right and not too salty (like I feel many restaurants are nowadays). Oh and did I mention, very reasonable pricing! A nice small Cafe style restaurant. Nice menu with lots of options for breakfast or lunch. Food was delicious. It is a small place so there may be a wait for a table, but the food is worth it. Seating available inside or outside. Whoever came up with the idea to use a pickle as the bun for a sandwich is an absolute genius! Will definitely be going back to try more of their menu. P.S. I noticed a lot of other reviews saying that they don't allow service dogs, but there was one there when I went. No one gave them any grief and the dog didn't bother anyone.

Great food. Great staff. I had the Mig Bac burger and was very happy. The ingredients were top notch. For a fresh beef burger it is still on the top of the scale for taste and quality. During my recent trip to Cincinnati, I had the pleasure of dining at Crafty Crab Seafood & Bar for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and well-versed in the menu options. My husband kicked off our meal with some mozzarella sticks that were delightfully tasty. He then enjoyed a fried catfish platter featuring four generous pieces alongside a side dish.
Such a great experience here. Celebrated a couple of friends' birthdays and got a delicious shrimp boil. I recommend going with The Bomb, so tasty. For the food we got, it was very reasonably priced. The one (very minor) downfall was my corn was overcooked, but my wife said hers was done perfectly. Server was very attentive to our needs

We had wanted to eat here for a while. Totally disappointed. Took the server close to 10 minutes to take our drink order... there were only 3 tables with people at them. We ordered a dozen steamed oysters for starters, they showed up cold with the meal and they were horrible, We only at a couple and the server never recognized we didn't eat them. The basket was just over deep fried frozen fish. The king crab leg was very small.

This restaurant opened several years ago in our neighborhood and it was nice to see something so different and having lived on the east coast years ago, we were excited to see a place with a great seafood broil. Despite the sun faded posters and decals on the front of the building, we have always decided to choose this as a quick date night without the kids. However, I hope their bathroom does not reflect the state of the cleanliness of their kitchen. Clearly meals that splatter butter and seasoning is a thing here, but there holder for napkins was “crusty“ for sure. looking past this, we still ordered in the food and it was was acceptable. We ordered the mixed broil, mild seasoning in the small order for the two of us. With a side of hush puppies. This was plenty for two of us. Then I used the bathroom… I was appalled. I was met with dirty, fingerprinted walls, stall doors and disgusting surrounding areas, including the sink and flusher button. I understand that rating a bathroom in a restaurant maybe taboo. However, when it comes to a restaurant, I can only assume that the attention to detail on the serving area is given the same amount of attention as the bathroom. Sadly, the state of the bathroom and several items in the store has been enough to make us not return to the crafty crab in Kenwood.

Not a fancy place by any means but the bar area looks nice enough. The fine print of the menu shows that you need a pound of seafood for a boil though the menu lists half-pound as an option. This led to my confusion and a server attitude. Hush puppies were on point, the raw oysters as hoped but the steamed bag of black mussels, shrimp, potatoes and small corn on cob was meh. You definitely won't mistake it for Crabshack Joe's.
Ken G — Google review
We ordered 1 lobster tail, 1/2lb of crawfish and 1lb of shrimp with cajun seasoning (medium for the spice level) and we also got 2 sides of rice. It was okay! The seasoning was overpowering the flavor, and the lobster tail was smaller than other places.
Hanin A — Google review
Visited this restaurant while visiting Cincinnati. It was for lunch The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and helped me with a sauce to accommodate my palate. My husband started with the mozzarella sticks which were typical but tasty. He had the fried catfish patter which came with 4 pieces and a side. I ordered steamed shrimp and mussels. The side was corn on the cob and it was freshly shucked. I got the sauce on the side for health purposes. Everything was fresh and tasty. In Florida, they offer specials to grab a taste of different seafood for reasonable prices, but here that wasn't an option. Nevertheless, all was good and worth the price. Sorry. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the entree 😀
Clare M — Google review
We ordered the shrimp and catfish baskets along with Gumbo. They need to redo the recipe for Gumbo. It needs salt and flavor. It is not Gumbo, at best a broth with vegetables. The shrimp and catfish need seasoning as well. Would I recommend, no. Others were getting the seafood boils. They might be good.

Food was fantastic, flavorful, as fresh tasting as you can get being in a landlocked state many hours from the sea. Service was solid, 0 complaints, there. Knowledgeable and helpful server. Interior was clean, for the most part. The windows wells and the floors under our booth could have used a little spot clean, but nothing egregious. But what kept it from 5 stars... the mens bathroom... was disgusting, leaking, flaking, unsure what some of the stains were... the stall did not lock which was very awkward when soneone tried to walk in on me... really glad I went in after the meal, other wise I probably would have left and not tried the food. Will probably be back on occasion as a solid seafood boil is hard to find, but I hope management takes the bathroom maintenance to task.

Bar
Nestled in the heart of Cincinnati, The Crow's Nest has been a beloved Irish pub since its inception in 1895 by Mike and Mary Crow. This historic establishment is renowned for its mouthwatering fish sandwich, particularly the beer-battered deep-fried Cod Loin Sammy on rye, which has become a must-try for locals and visitors alike. On weekends, you can enjoy live music from talented local artists while savoring your meal.
All around absolute delight! Went there for open mic and had more fun than I could've imagined,! Bartender was so kind, and on point with drinks and service. Also, the owner was there doing sign ins for the open mic. And this man was everything that a bar / restaurant establishment should be. He m was kind, helpful and all well exercisingng his charismatic personality. I give this establishment 5 stars only because there are not 10 Stars here.

A definite stop for Fridays during Lent!! Delicious fish sandwich, onion rings and homemade tartar sauce. Comfortable, welcoming environment.

We came for the band Mojo Bone but ate first. Omg. It's a five bar that is nicely clean and decorated. But the food..... It's great best roasted cauliflower even. Had the Parm garlic sauce on it and even the gf liked it. The wings are not breaded and crispy. Everything came out fast n hot and the staff are very friendly. The owner was there and checked up on us. Love place before they had food. Love it move now. Gf also said the French onion soups was great.

New owner/management and making great improvements without ruining the vibe. They started up their fish frys for Lent, and it was amazing. I hear the permanent kitchen is being worked on so consistent food will return!

Best fish sandwich you'll ever have and I'm just not saying that lightly. Plus they often have live local or regional talent playing in the back room especially on the weekends. The rest of the menu looks divine but, man, how do you not get that fish. Flaky, light breading, melts in your mouth. I'm getting hungry thinking about it now. Plus his whiskey collection is top notch. The owner, Bill, is usually on site as well. You can tell he cares about his product and service. Love this place! I'd give it 6 stars if that was possible.

Vegetarian cafe and deli
Harmony Plant Fare is a vegan deli in Findlay Market, offering a wide range of plant-based meats and cheeses. Specializing in seitan, a Chinese-origin vegan meat made from high protein flour, beans, and spices that closely resembles animal-based meat. The deli provides an extensive menu of sandwiches, ready-to-go dishes, dips, and desserts - all entirely vegan.
Harmony Plant Fare is UNMATCHED. If you're looking for a good sandwich, this is the place to go. Their house made meats are unbelievable and every component if their sandwiches are perfect. The Italian is by far my favorite! My only complaint is that, as a vegan, Findlay Market is a nightmare to walk through. I have heard that you can call Harmony to place an order to get in and out quickly though.
Grace H — Google review
What a gem this little deli in the Findlay Market is. This was my second time eating here (because the first was so good) and i’m even more blown away this time around. their sandwich of the day, recommended by the person working, was one of the best vegan sandwiches i’ve ever had. i believe a non vegan would’ve enjoyed it too, which i can’t say the same for many meat-alternative sandwiches i’ve had. as a 10+ year vegan, i very much wish that i lived closer to this place than the 4 hours that i do, but until then i’ll stop in whenever i can. if you are contemplating going and can’t tell by the menu or pictures, let this be your sign to just go - you won’t regret it.
Zach H — Google review
This is easily one of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had! Full, flavorful, hearty, perfect texture balance, almost unreal. Cannot recommend this place enough - it's delicious!
Maria P — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Harmony Plant Fare, and it was a fantastic experience. This all-vegan spot really stands out not just for its delicious plant-based menu but for how easy and convenient it is to just order like at a deli and take your food to go. And of course, a big shoutout to Alex, the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive even in that quick-serve setup. His passion for making everyone feel welcome really shines through. If you’re looking for great vegan food on the go with a friendly touch, Harmony Plant Fare is definitely worth a visit.
Sherry S — Google review
Was so excited when I stumbled on this market! They had so many options I wanted to take home a lot more! But settled for the Jalapeno cream cheese which was AMAZING and the buffalo chicken. Also amazing! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend!
Nichole R — Google review
If you’re in Findlay Market, you need to go to Harmony Plant Fare. Take it from me that this was the best and hottest grilled cheese sandwich that I’ve ever had. This grilled cheese sandwich was an explosion of happiness in my mouth! The sandwich was made on sourdough bread and the cheese was thoroughly melted. I paid $10 for the sandwich (and I paid $1 for a big bottle of cold water). I wondered what the sandwich would taste like, but I was not disappointed. The only complaint I had was that I wanted more when I finished it. I asked for pickles and was offered them in a cup. I would highly recommend Harmony Plant Fare in Findlay Market. You will not be disappointed!
Angela B — Google review
This is the best vegan deli I've ever dined at because they have such good flavors! Many such delis just make a 5-inch thick sub with plant-based cold cuts, which I've found to be rather disgusting. Harmony Plant Fare is not like those places, though. Their cold Italian sub and the gyro were both A+ sandwiches, vegan or otherwise. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this shop to Findlay Market frequenters if you're vegan or vegan curious!
Brian D — Google review
Yasssss! I had the Buffalo Ranch sandwich and it was delicious. It was hot and full of flavor. The bread was toasted to perfection. The staff were just wonderful, accommodating and friendly. They have other vegan items available for you to snag while you’re there. I found it funny that this vegan spot is near two butchers.

The Pickled Pig, known for their expertise in pickled delicacies, is offering a unique twist on Lent this year. They are serving salted cod and potato cakes accompanied by pickled fennel and yogurt on a challah roll every Friday throughout the Lenten season. Recently stumbled upon by someone seeking an authentic turkey sandwich in their childhood neighborhood, The Pickled Pig exceeded expectations with its succulent and flavorsome sliced turkey. The bread was toasted impeccably, providing a delightful chewiness.
Great place. Love supporting small business eateries. Love the passion of the owner - food is amazing. Pork Sandwich is an absolute must try! Also - the carrots with a touch of Korean influence - best ever.

Not a local so I can't comment on the cultural impact of the place. The food was not bad but not great either. Stopped by m at 4p, with no wait. We got our food really quickly. Good place for a quick bite. Parking could be tricky since it is street parking. If youre looking for something out of the way that is quick and different, this is a good alternative. If you are looking for a great meal with great service and atmosphere - this is not it.

Delicious food that you’re not going to find at your typical deli. Everything was magnificent and the staff was helpful and friendly. Classes looked cool too.

First off, service was GREAT! When the server AND chef check in with you on the food, that's service that stays with you. The interior was clean and nicely decorated. The server was very knowledgeable and walked us through the menu. We chose this restaurant because we love Guy Fieris DDD and it did not disappoint. The brisket was very flavorful, juicy, and truly smoked. The potato salad was so fresh! The potato buns were fluffy and so good! This restaurant has their own thing going with their BBQ and it works! I definitely recommend this restaurant.
N P — Google review
This is unlike any other restaurant you will find--a true local gem, where everything is made fresh, and there are interesting (and DELICIOUS) new takes on almost all their dishes. Do NOT overlook their daily specials when deciding. And the service...wow, just wow. They go above and beyond to take care of you--it just left us feeling...happy, that deep-down kind of joy where you are not just satisfied, you feel better too. 100% will be hitting the Pickled Pig again whenever we are in the area!
Alex T — Google review
Ok, so I "randomly" chose @thepickledpig because of the deli menu and the dining room was clean and appealing. I did not look at the reviews nor did i look at the menu. So upon arriving I paused just a second , doubting if I should go in but the smell of smoked meat drew me in. I walk in and let me tell you, there was a young lady and two of the nicest men you could ever meet. The owner (I presume was behind the counter and asked is this a BBQ restaurant and ge said no, I added I smell BBQ. He said I smoke the meat and your smelling smoke turkey! My heart skipped a beat. The two gentlemen encouraged to try the smoke turkey and how one of them was having it now on a potatoe bun. I wanted to get this right, so i took a minute to look over the menu and was encouraged to look at their sides. I have to be honest , my day had been blah (but i was still grateful) so I can not tell you what's on the menu lol. I ended up deciding on the Turkey Rueben that had smoked turkey, tomme, pickled sauerkraut and russian dressing on white rye! I was also blessed with a fig oil infused cookie by one of the awesome gentlemen. BABYYYY when i tell you that sandwich did not make across the bridge - it was devoured! The turkey was so fresh, tender and SMOKED! That smoked flavor was delicious and through out every crevice in that turkey meat! I didn't have the sound mind to ask what wood was used but it almost taste like mesquite maybe even hickory. Needless to say I will be back to sit at the counter and enjoy more of the menu, but it's going to take a minute though because I'm in love with that Turkey Rueben.
Dedashe — Google review
$19 for an entree and a side is the going rate in an area like this I guess. I had a special: Pork Belly and Tomato sandwich. It was melt in my mouth good, not overly seasoned from what I could tell, just a good balance of buttery pork belly and juicy tomota with hearty grilled bread. So why 3 stars? Well, the laxed handling of food . . . Dude is a chef, and having a friend of 38 years who is a chef, I get it, they're super comfortable handling food with their bare hands, BUT . . . . this isn't your home. It might have been okay if he wasn't also taking phone calls while making orders (phones are gross, fyi), didn't wash hands after touching the phone, wore a glove sporadically. Service was nice though, young lady helped with menu and talked me through specials and sides. Initial greeting wasn't the warmest, they were preparing a big order although I was the only one inside.
Rico R — Google review
Interior/exterior clean & welcoming. Although ordering/service a little slow, food prepared fresh & with care. I got the pork burger with kimshi & gouda ($14). Potato bun toasted nicely and burger tasty. However, patty very small & kimshi spare. Deli side was beet & apple salad ($4) which was fresh & tangy. But again, portion size very small. For me, cost not worth it.

If you're on the hunt for a seafood experience that tantalizes your taste buds, look no further than Louis' Cajun Seafood. This vibrant eatery is known for its mouthwatering appetizers and a special kid's menu, making it a perfect spot for families. The star of the show is undoubtedly their seafood boils, which come loaded with options like snow crab legs and headless shrimp, all drenched in their signature Louis sauce that has patrons raving about its deliciousness.
OMG, this was my first time at Luis Cajun because I live in Sharonville and came over this way to visit my brother who lives down the street. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the cashier. She was extremely nice and right off the bat, spoke to me about their Snow Crab Special. I came in for wings only; however, when she did her spill on the special, I immediately got the Snow Crab Special with their house sauce! It was delicious!!!! The sauce was so good, as well as the shrimp and chicken. I'm mad that I finished it. Thank you guys for everything and I will be back.
Sabrina M — Google review
The food was good, the portions were just right, the shrimp was over cooked unfortunately, the taste was rich. The restaurant is a bit confusing due to having two different cuisines operating in one place. If you want sushi is on the right side the Cajun is on the left one. The restaurant on the other hand is a disgusting though. Pick up will be what I would do next time if I decide to try it out again. Ps: they will ask you to pay upfront!!!

I ordered the seafood boil and definitely got my money's worth. The potatoes were fairly big, but the seasoning could have been better. Great choice for someone with high blood pressure.

Wow! I’ve been waiting for them to reopen…I’ve been on a seafood boil kick and I hadn’t tried them prior. We ordered the family platter and I couldn’t be more pleased. We got so much food, the sauce (Louis special medium) was chefs kiss! We added hard boiled eggs as well. Our boil was crab legs, mussels and head-off shrimp. We added garlic butter on the side. My only suggestion is please never run out of crab crackers! 10/10 will be back!

I ate there today with my my son for the first time. The food was absolutely fantastic!! Tee who waited on us, she was delightful. The amount of food we were given for the price was amazing!!! This Western Hills location is wonderful. We're going back next weekend.

This place was a dump. Filthy floor and it reeked of bad fish smell. Trash on the floor too. The two young ladies behind the counter were on their phones instead of doing work. It's a shame. Food itself wasn't bad. Decent portions, but my fiance got the boil combo and didn't get an egg or corn. Smh.
Brendan P — Google review
I just can’t seem to find a place that fries good fish, and unfortunately this place is added to my list! I ordered the whiting basket and asked for well done…when I received it, it appeared to be a little extra crispy(like I like)…HOWEVER, once I broke a piece and took a bite it was MUSHY!!! on the inside! I guess I gotta start frying my own fish cause I just can’t find a place that has good fried fish😏
Rita J — Google review
This was some of the nastiest sea food Ive EVER had....awful...everything tasted old. The coleslaw was nothing more than cabbage and carrot in a cup with no dressing. The calamari was like having a mouthful of rubber bands...breading hard as a brick....hush puppies were small..dry and tasteless. Don't waste your time and money here. Never again

Excellent service. I had the best tuna melt ever! Chefs Ryan and Ashlee struck the perfect balance between creamy and crunchy.
